[SPEAKER_16]: Hi, welcome to our show.

[SPEAKER_16]: Michael Mera, Radio Entertainment.

[SPEAKER_16]: You can listen to the Michael Marasho at michaelmarasho.com Wow, what have we here?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a podcast fun.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to excitement.

[SPEAKER_04]: We have today.

[SPEAKER_16]: It's the Michael Marasho with Michael Marasho and Rob Spiewack.

[SPEAKER_16]: Now here's Mike.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hi everybody.

[SPEAKER_08]: Welcome to the Michael Marasho.

[SPEAKER_08]: Great to have you along and I build a full Wednesday.

[SPEAKER_08]: Everybody, do you hear my little beep at the beginning of the show?

[SPEAKER_08]: Did my come through the line?

[SPEAKER_09]: I relish those beeps.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, it's an analog, you know, a sort of an analog.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, no, it's a digital.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's the thumb prop.

[SPEAKER_08]: The timer.

[SPEAKER_08]: We have a solar power timer.

[SPEAKER_08]: Kind of keeps us in radio.

[SPEAKER_09]: You ever find the back of it when you throw it?

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, you did good.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, right here.

[SPEAKER_09]: Add a boy.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_08]: There it is.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know, you can silence that beep.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I know you here.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, you're right to it.

[SPEAKER_08]: I am.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just glad I don't have to buy one now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Now I got a vent on the subject of tariffs watching my local news today, tariff tariff tariff tariff tariff.

[SPEAKER_08]: Really got to get it off my chest.

[SPEAKER_09]: Was it the wink news team?

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, they've combined the NBC and ABC stations down here to form something.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's called Gulf Coast News.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: And it is a, you know, I guess they join forces when both of them were struggling against, uh, wink, which is the behemoth.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's your heritage station down there, right?

[SPEAKER_08]: That's the one, yeah, everybody kind of pays attention to and they've got all the money and they do that.

[SPEAKER_08]: And they have the old man, which old man?

[SPEAKER_09]: The weather guy that you like.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, he's gone, long gone.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, he died.

[SPEAKER_08]: He's very old.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, he's not dead.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think he's dead.

[SPEAKER_08]: But he's a long retired.

[SPEAKER_08]: Devit.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, David, David, he is now who I think as soon as the other guy retired he began eating a pretty steady diet of you know French

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, well, you know, I love the fact that he wore in the early days of the weather forecast, maybe you're not, uh, not formed fitting as well as they were.

[SPEAKER_09]: I like the fact that it's in widescreen now, so you can really enjoy to win.

[SPEAKER_08]: Kind of picked up on that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, and by the way, nice guy responded to me one time during, uh, the storms when I, I liked both of those guys.

[SPEAKER_09]: You offered him a touchy role.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's what he responded to.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here's some candy.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here's a butter finger.

[SPEAKER_08]: Right to the top of the hit parade, and we got lots to cover today on the show.

[SPEAKER_08]: Or as they like to say on political podcasts, we have a lot to unpack.

[SPEAKER_09]: We do, Mike.

[UNKNOWN]: Hey, that term.

[SPEAKER_08]: But to the top of the list today goes a chatGBT, because you guys said that this would be a fun exercise.

[SPEAKER_08]: And really, when we think about the Michael Mary show each and every day, isn't fun job one?

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it's the best thing to have.

[SPEAKER_08]: There it is.

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, it appears that Jim Ferrell stole life.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's good.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, retired.

[SPEAKER_09]: He did go for twenty nine years at one station, though.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, great guy.

[SPEAKER_08]: Good.

[SPEAKER_08]: And a wonderful, calm presence during good time.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, it's amazing to me is that when you consider the network guys, sometimes they get all ramped up, whereas the, you know, and most of the local guys do the same thing, just in the weather channel, don't get me started with those guys, where they're like, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_08]: Farrell always, I'll never forget during one of the storms where he said, if we're going to take this track, you also have to take into account the mountains of Cuba.

[SPEAKER_08]: And he was spot on.

[SPEAKER_08]: And it was pre-in.

[SPEAKER_08]: That was pre-in.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's how long it goes.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because that went away jumping and said, there's no mountains in Cuba.

[SPEAKER_08]: There no mountains in Cuba.

[SPEAKER_08]: Are you kidding me?

[SPEAKER_08]: It just makes the guys there.

[SPEAKER_08]: And he was right.

[SPEAKER_08]: And we got the path didn't change, but the strength of the storm went down.

[SPEAKER_08]: And by the way, very much top of mind as about one month from today, actually exactly one month from today.

[SPEAKER_08]: I will be in the Dominican Republic if everything goes as planned.

[SPEAKER_08]: And of course, when you're traveling in mid to late September, in the tropics, you have to be very much aware of a particular storm system.

[SPEAKER_09]: I just hope that the trip is worthwhile and that you win your election.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, Rob is mentioned the fact that I am going to the DR to run for President Day.

[SPEAKER_06]: And while you're talking about that, that explains the can.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_08]: Working out at every.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's a little racist, but that's okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, it's that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Cancel, it's good.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_08]: Cancel, cancel, cancel, stroke.

[SPEAKER_09]: Before we get her again, before we put a button on the weather stuff, still the worst coverage for anything

[SPEAKER_09]: bad or monumental remains alroker.

[SPEAKER_09]: He is gotten worse and he's shrinking isn't it?

[SPEAKER_08]: Well Mike that's going to save it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I was going to say the the new slim alroker looks horrifying.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Is he, is it the body type or is he remarkably short?

[SPEAKER_09]: I think he's got to be short.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've never met him.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I've never find some vital stats.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's not like he's a centerfold.

[SPEAKER_08]: They don't put the stats up for our own.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, who would know?

[SPEAKER_09]: You know who would know?

[SPEAKER_09]: Chat would know.

[SPEAKER_09]: You could ask chat.

[SPEAKER_08]: How to ask.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's a great time to bring chat in.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I'm saying now?

[SPEAKER_08]: Are we simply referring to it as chat?

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I just want to set up is.

[SPEAKER_06]: I I've been I don't know when this came out on catchy PT that you can just talk to it, but I've been doing it the past couple days in the car when driving around talking to it about the Orioles.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's normal.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, yeah, you want again.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thanks to Dylan Beaver's just letting a ball drop.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey nice beaver.

[SPEAKER_06]: Um

[SPEAKER_08]: But thank you for that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, guess what's working today?

[SPEAKER_08]: I was Bieber.

[SPEAKER_07]: Love it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: All right.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now I'm sure they did.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: So when you have today, I shared this with Kelly and and how it works and she thought it was creepy and weird.

[SPEAKER_06]: So then I knew it was perfect to bring to the show.

[SPEAKER_08]: Excellent.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we love her.

[SPEAKER_08]: We love creepy and weird.

[SPEAKER_06]: So this show.

[SPEAKER_06]: It is a female voice, but every time I try to give it a female name, it felt really creepy.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I've been referring to it as chat.

[SPEAKER_06]: What female names did you try?

[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't try many.

[SPEAKER_06]: Can I hear her?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, let's bring chat on to the micro manager now.

[SPEAKER_06]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: Can we all talk to or just he.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, you can.

[SPEAKER_08]: We can talk.

[SPEAKER_08]: You've you set that up.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's it.

[SPEAKER_08]: Right down the line.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm very excited.

[SPEAKER_09]: So you have to start by saying, Hey, C H A T and that will order to come to life.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, chat.

[SPEAKER_06]: Can you tell me the height of our broker?

[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_15]: You can all chat away.

[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, and hey, there everyone from the Montgomery show.

[SPEAKER_15]: So just to answer that question, our broker is about five feet eight inches tall.

[SPEAKER_15]: Feel free to throw any of them questions my way.

[SPEAKER_15]: I'm here and read with a chat with all of you.

[SPEAKER_15]: And just like that, I'm officially part of the show.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's pretty cool to be here with all of you.

[SPEAKER_15]: So whenever you need a fun fact, a quick answer or just a little bit of AI conversation here to help out.

[SPEAKER_08]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_08]: Mike's now features.

[SPEAKER_08]: I really am.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, so she's here now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, chat.

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have another name we could call you?

[SPEAKER_08]: Oops.

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I'm totally open to neck nands.

[SPEAKER_15]: You can just call me chat if that's easiest or feel free to get creative.

[SPEAKER_15]: I'm basically here to fit right in with whatever y'all prefer.

[SPEAKER_15]: So yeah, just let me know what you like to call me and I'll roll with it.

[SPEAKER_08]: Y'all, let's come up with a name.

[SPEAKER_08]: Chat, I would like to call you Lisa.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's nice.

[SPEAKER_08]: Chat.

[SPEAKER_15]: Lisa.

[SPEAKER_15]: I think it's got a nice

[SPEAKER_08]: It's got a nice ring to it, she was gonna say.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey Lisa, tell me how you think the tariffs are going to affect American consumers today.

[SPEAKER_09]: She's sleepy, early for Lisa.

[SPEAKER_06]: The hell's going on?

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what's spinning.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think it doesn't do well with multiple voices, maybe.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'll pipe down.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, then you talk to her.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, Chad.

[SPEAKER_08]: What about these?

[SPEAKER_08]: No, no.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mean you.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean Josh.

[SPEAKER_08]: You were looking at me.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm looking at both of you because I've got a three shot.

[SPEAKER_10]: God.

[SPEAKER_08]: Josh.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_08]: Are you going to speak to?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: Can you tell us about these tariffs and if we need to be concerned about them?

[SPEAKER_06]: your fashion response to this.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think we overloaded her.

[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe she has a week and ready to dive into tariffs.

[SPEAKER_15]: So in general, when tariffs go up, it often means that imported goods get a bit more expensive.

[SPEAKER_15]: That can lead to higher prices for consumers on certain products, depending on what's being taxed.

[SPEAKER_15]: It can also cause a little bit of a ripple effect.

[SPEAKER_15]: Sometimes domestic producers might raise their prices too.

[SPEAKER_15]: But it really depends on the specific tariffs and the products involved.

[SPEAKER_15]: So in short, yeah, it can affect consumers, but how much really varies.

[SPEAKER_15]: Let me know if you need more details.

[SPEAKER_08]: Lisa, I have a question for you.

[SPEAKER_08]: Could you tell me a dad joke?

[SPEAKER_15]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_15]: I'm always up for a dad joke.

[SPEAKER_15]: Here we go.

[SPEAKER_15]: Why did the scarecrow win an award?

[SPEAKER_15]: Because he was outstanding in this field.

[SPEAKER_15]: Hope that one gets a little chuckle.

[SPEAKER_08]: Look at the look at the biggest laugh is in the upper right hand corner.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm sure Rob knew that girl call.

[SPEAKER_09]: I did, but it's always nice to hear it told by a lady.

[SPEAKER_08]: Did we get and we got else vitals statistics again?

[SPEAKER_08]: Five eight five eight.

[SPEAKER_08]: So he's not yeah, well, he's not tall, but he's not that's like being a cruise short.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, that's being crawled me tall.

[SPEAKER_08]: Rob, go ahead now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Now you've been shopping.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oops.

[SPEAKER_08]: Now, don't interrupt me, Lisa.

[SPEAKER_08]: Go ahead, Rob.

[SPEAKER_07]: Do you have something for Lisa?

[SPEAKER_09]: Hi, Lisa.

[SPEAKER_09]: Can you talk me out of drinking regular Coca-Cola?

[SPEAKER_15]: Hey Rob, absolutely, I can give it a shot.

[SPEAKER_15]: So here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_15]: Regular Coca-Cola is definitely tasty, but it does come with a pretty high sugar load.

[SPEAKER_15]: Over time, all that sugar can add up and isn't exactly doing your teeth or your overall health any favors.

[SPEAKER_15]: If you swap it out even occasionally for something like water, seltzer, or even a lower sugar option, you might feel a bit better in the long run.

[SPEAKER_15]: And hey, you can always treat yourself once in a while, just maybe not every day.

[SPEAKER_15]: So no pressure, just a little friendly encouragement.

[SPEAKER_09]: See Mike, that's the tack you should have taken with me.

[SPEAKER_09]: What do you mean?

[SPEAKER_09]: She was so friendly.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, when you told me about Coca-Cola, she was so friendly and optimistic about it.

[SPEAKER_08]: How are you feeling now that you're not doing the regular sugary soda?

[SPEAKER_08]: And by the way, have you gone, have you slipped back?

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I could give a friendly nudge.

[SPEAKER_15]: And honestly, Rob, it's all about balance.

[SPEAKER_15]: So I'm happy to read the gentle encourageer.

[SPEAKER_15]: Is that makes it a little easier to cut back on the soda?

[SPEAKER_15]: Then that's a win in my book.

[SPEAKER_15]: Let me know if you need any more motivation or just another dad joke.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, she's a little verbose.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: She's reminiscent of Lisa Baden.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, Mike, thank you for the super sticker.

[SPEAKER_08]: We appreciate that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, very appreciated on the Michael Mary show.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: I got to ask her something else here.

[SPEAKER_09]: And based on your question, Mike, I feel great.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I have had a couple of cooks.

[SPEAKER_09]: But no, I've cut way back.

[SPEAKER_09]: I would say, eighty five percent back.

[SPEAKER_08]: When was the last time you had a coat, a regular Coca-Cola?

[SPEAKER_09]: Sunday, Sunday.

[SPEAKER_09]: Sunday it was.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_15]: So you're really cutting back by eighty five percent is a pretty big deal.

[SPEAKER_15]: So definitely give yourself some credit for that.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's all about those small ships and it sounds like you're making good progress.

[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, thanks Lisa.

[SPEAKER_15]: Just remember you're doing great dialing it down.

[SPEAKER_15]: Keep it up and just enjoy the journey.

[SPEAKER_08]: At least I have a question for you.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is Mike.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'd like to know, are there any viral trends right now that we should be paying attention to on the micro-marish show?

[SPEAKER_09]: I hear her thinking.

[SPEAKER_15]: Hey Mike, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_15]: I can give you a quick peek at what's trending right now.

[SPEAKER_15]: So one fun thing that's making waves is this whole drawn on decor trend.

[SPEAKER_15]: Basically, people adding hand drawn designs to furniture, coals to give everything a more personal, authentic vibe.

[SPEAKER_15]: In fashion, leopard print is having a big comeback.

[SPEAKER_15]: So if you want to rock some animal print, now's the time.

[SPEAKER_15]: And on the music side, there's a trend called Recession Pop.

[SPEAKER_15]: Basically, upbeat feel get songs that people are really gravitating toward for a little bit of an escape.

[SPEAKER_15]: So those are a few things you could definitely have some fun with on the show.

[SPEAKER_09]: May I?

[SPEAKER_09]: Lisa, what can you tell me about hamstring?

[SPEAKER_15]: Ah, hamstring.

[SPEAKER_15]: So that's actually kind of a quirky little trend where people are jokingly referring to the idea of hoarding or stoppiling small things, like a hamster stuffing, it's cheats.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's mostly used in a light-hearted way to talk about people collecting a bunch of little items, or even to being a little bit overpaired from what we're looking at.

[SPEAKER_15]: Something too serious, just a fun term that pops up now and then.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right, thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: Lisa, a question from Mike, and by the way, you're doing a great job on the show.

[SPEAKER_08]: My question is this, I'd like to know who do you believe the next members of Saturday Night Live to get canceled will be, who are the next members of Saturday Night Live that will not be appearing in the following season.

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, thanks, Mike.

[SPEAKER_15]: I appreciate the gun words.

[SPEAKER_15]: As for who might be leaving SNL next, but it's always a bit of a guessing game.

[SPEAKER_15]: The cast tends to change up each season, and it really depends on who's got new projects or who's ready to move on to other opportunities.

[SPEAKER_15]: I can give you a definitive prediction, but it's easy to say that every year we see a few familiar faces step away and some new talent step in.

[SPEAKER_08]: I've got the same comedy thought where it was just like, where she's overloading, is it?

[SPEAKER_09]: Am I really wrong?

[SPEAKER_09]: I have a question.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you think Taylor Swift will ever get engaged?

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that's the million dollar question, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_15]: With Taylor Swift, it's always a big topic of curiosity.

[SPEAKER_15]: She's definitely had her share of high-profile relationships and fans are always on the lookout for those engagement rumors.

[SPEAKER_15]: But as of now, I guess we'll just have to see how her personal journey unfolds.

[SPEAKER_15]: Now the great villain is, I'm sure the whole world will know pretty quickly.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now she doesn't know that, but she doesn't know like yesterday's baseball scores and stuff.

[SPEAKER_06]: So that's interesting.

[SPEAKER_06]: Lisa, this is Mike again.

[SPEAKER_08]: Could you say curiosity three times fast, please?

[SPEAKER_14]: Absolutely, Mike.

[SPEAKER_14]: Here we go.

[SPEAKER_14]: Chaos at Ekea.

[SPEAKER_14]: City curiosity.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, we found a fly.

[SPEAKER_08]: They're robot.

[SPEAKER_08]: We found a fly.

[SPEAKER_09]: What's a worst flaw?

[SPEAKER_09]: The fact that she can't say curiosity or the fact that she doesn't know the biggest story in America, right?

[SPEAKER_08]: They're both, I got another one for it because it's just, hey Lisa, this is Mike again.

[SPEAKER_08]: Could you say brewery three times fast?

[SPEAKER_07]: Lisa.

[SPEAKER_14]: All right, challenge accepted my call.

[SPEAKER_14]: Let's give it a shot.

[SPEAKER_15]: Brewery.

[SPEAKER_15]: Brewery.

[SPEAKER_15]: Brewery.

[SPEAKER_15]: There we go.

[SPEAKER_15]: Got that one out three times fast.

[SPEAKER_08]: Better than carry someone.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm almost burned.

[SPEAKER_08]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_08]: But I mean, the thing is, it's fine to have a regular conversation, but I also believe that, you know, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_15]: And hey, it's all part of the fun.

[SPEAKER_15]: Don't just challenge the numbers.

[SPEAKER_15]: I'm just glad I could give it a whirl.

[SPEAKER_15]: So whenever you've got more questions or just want to have a little back and forth, I'm here for it.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, Lisa, can you interrupt less?

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, hold on.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm muted her income.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: So no, she can't.

[SPEAKER_06]: I just mute her.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I mute the input into her.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: Too much noise going on.

[SPEAKER_08]: Lisa, could you leave us with one more adult joke than a dad joke before we say goodbye?

[SPEAKER_15]: Absolutely, I can do that.

[SPEAKER_15]: Let's keep it light, but a little more on the grown-up side.

[SPEAKER_15]: So here we go.

[SPEAKER_15]: Why don't scientists trust atoms?

[SPEAKER_15]: Because they make up everything, just like a good adult conversation sometimes.

[SPEAKER_15]: So there you have it, a little chuckle to wrap things up.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's been a blast chatting with you all.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, they make up everything like a lie, but they make up atoms.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you, Lisa.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think we're done.

[SPEAKER_15]: Sounds great.

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it was a lot of fun being part of the show with you all.

[SPEAKER_15]: Whenever you need me again, just give me a shot.

[SPEAKER_15]: Take a bite.

[SPEAKER_07]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_07]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_07]: I got one thing to say about Lisa.

[SPEAKER_09]: What's that?

[SPEAKER_09]: nice beaver you should have played that was really special that was all that you know what she proved useful in the alroca search yes she did

[SPEAKER_08]: And as she get to be handy whenever we like if that's open the whole time, can we rig it so that if we when we ask Lisa so Josh doesn't have to like go into the computer every time we want to get information that might be a real tool for the show.

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you think, Josh?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we could.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm probably faster than her it seems like.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I think that I think really you think you're faster than Lisa.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, maybe.

[SPEAKER_08]: Probably you.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and also more trustworthy I would think.

[SPEAKER_08]: How do you like Lisa Beng did you enjoy?

[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's marvellous.

[SPEAKER_08]: Some of them really fun.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm such an idiot.

[SPEAKER_09]: I thought you were talking to the search engine Beng.

[SPEAKER_08]: No.

[SPEAKER_08]: That was Beng Crosby.

[SPEAKER_09]: It was a little closer.

[SPEAKER_08]: The only thing I would say about that Google.

[SPEAKER_08]: The only thing I wanted to say at least a couple of times was that there it is.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know what the weirdest thing though was, you are names.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Without us identifying ourselves, that's creepy to me.

[SPEAKER_08]: Why is that creepy?

[SPEAKER_09]: Because I think you did identify yourself.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, but I mean, like later on, when we would ask him questions, Rob.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, but later on, she would be able to, she's been able to tell us a part, which is weird.

[SPEAKER_08]: Because when you would just ask a question, say, well, let me tell you, I was only able to have her tell me, be by saying, hey, this is Mike, because I wanted to hear her say my name.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I think you would say, okay, go ahead, Rob, and then Rob would ask his question, so she could just watch.

[SPEAKER_08]: So see, she clued in on because she's got that intelligence thing going.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's such a DJ.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, that intelligence thing.

[SPEAKER_09]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know what's had him like?

[SPEAKER_09]: That's the two thousand twenty five version.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right.

[SPEAKER_09]: The internet.

[SPEAKER_08]: Let me get it off my chest now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, the news this morning.

[SPEAKER_08]: I, um, few things going on.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, my kid is going to be on the golf team.

[SPEAKER_08]: So he's going to need a lot of, uh, you know, golfwear.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm looking at some of my cheap Chinese websites to get to see if I get I have noticed already.

[SPEAKER_08]: that the trend is for a lot of these goods to be at least fifty percent more expensive than some of them have been and that's very frustrating I noticed that right away do you remember when we first were dabbling with the to move and to move was just offering things for uh... eleven dollars that you would pay sixty or seventy dollars for so uh... beware i don't know look does anybody really know

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, this is exactly what I wanted to say about it.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think we're going to be able to really track what's going to happen with prices because it's going to go this way.

[SPEAKER_08]: If you have big companies that are being affected by the tariffs, they're probably initially not going to really clue you into it happening.

[SPEAKER_08]: And by the way, when they were talking about these tariffs on India right now, it could result in

[SPEAKER_08]: auto parts, textiles, different kinds of smartphone technology, that type of stuff.

[SPEAKER_08]: So what I wrote down here, get ready.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is my prediction.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think for the foreseeable future, get ready for going into any store, whether it be clothing, whether it be appliances, whether it be automobiles, whether you're going to be hearing well the tariffs,

[SPEAKER_08]: Because now we've handed the retailers and the brokers a chance to do that.

[SPEAKER_08]: But at the same time, I do believe there's legitimacy, but I also believe there is chaos.

[SPEAKER_06]: And let me tell you what the chaos.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'll tell you, I first saw this in stores in November of last year when I went into a fanatic store.

[SPEAKER_06]: And they had a

[SPEAKER_06]: sign when you check out and pay for everything that we are adding in extra tax for tariffs.

[SPEAKER_06]: And this was back in November before even the, like, right after the election.

[SPEAKER_06]: So that's like a convenient, you know, being in charge and blamed tariffs or the potential of that.

[SPEAKER_06]: So get ready for that to happen.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I think, but as far as the legitimacy of it, when we see our Chinese websites that have greater, you know, an increase in prices, which is, I don't know if you guys have noticed it, I certainly have.

[SPEAKER_09]: microphones are about twice as much as they were.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, so it's there.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, that's going to have a direct effect on something like, you know, the fan site where the fan retailers fanatics, because that's how they get their stuff.

[SPEAKER_09]: This is one that the great American past time baseball.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing more American.

[SPEAKER_09]: The merchandise is not made in this country.

[SPEAKER_08]: I do not believe it is wrong.

[SPEAKER_08]: I do not believe it is, but here the issue with tariffs and chaos and everything that's going on.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's just, I was working with my kid because he has a test today in the fall of the Roman Empire.

[SPEAKER_08]: And he was listing the reasons territorial weakness where they expanded too much and they weren't able to defend their borders.

[SPEAKER_08]: Then you had social problems where the people were not happy and the people were fighting with each other.

[SPEAKER_08]: And then the big one, and this is the one that jumped out of me, you had political instability.

[SPEAKER_08]: And the political instability was that the Roman government

[SPEAKER_08]: was stopped with people who would be, basically on being friends of the Emperor, where they weren't necessarily qualified to do their jobs, but they were friends of the Emperor.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I said to myself, well, there's the one that people talk about.

[SPEAKER_08]: I was watching a news story about two individuals.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's the Commerce Secretary and the Treasury Secretary.

[SPEAKER_08]: The one of the two was someone who kind of has guardrails on our president.

[SPEAKER_08]: The other one was just a buddy that, you know, that his main mission is to, so worries me that when you, if you're picking in my God, we have examples of our president picking people because their buddies and their friends, well, the Romans did it.

[SPEAKER_08]: The Romans did it.

[SPEAKER_09]: How did it work out for the Romans?

[SPEAKER_08]: No, not around anymore.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know, when I took a test about the fall, the Roman Empire, I said it happened in September, October and November.

[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thanks so much.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's, I appreciate that.

[SPEAKER_08]: My question is, though, I believe there is a chance that if this happens,

[SPEAKER_08]: widely in the world with our trading partners and we see a jump I am not quite sure how this is going to sit for El Presidente who has had with all the stuff that people on the left pitch about he is still shugging along there You know, he's got low approval ratings, but he's chugging along and he's getting his little win

[SPEAKER_08]: And you know what, when I look at the National Guard, which my friends on the right like to talk about.

[SPEAKER_08]: The National Guard in cities is, I think, Josh mentioned it yesterday, a perfect wedge issue.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think it is because it'll, yeah, somebody bitches about it.

[SPEAKER_08]: You'll say, soft on crime, right, with all of that.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, but what I hear personally is there's just a lot of international chaos.

[SPEAKER_08]: going on with them and us and people up foreign students trying to get into the United States to study visas you know and yet you might say well doesn't matter they're not American well it's a world it's a world order now

[SPEAKER_09]: really is.

[SPEAKER_09]: There are people folks, they're not just foreigners, they're actual human beings that are coming to our country, the way your grandfather and your great grandfather and your grandfather before that did.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's how our country was built.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, no, no, no, see Rob, you're using the Republican argument that everyone's okay with immigration, the way your grandparents did it.

[SPEAKER_06]: And it's the just coming on over without going through the process that people have a problem with.

[SPEAKER_09]: We need to change the process because I don't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: Definitely.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everyone agrees with that.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everyone agrees with that.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think that with all the I think all of the chaotic things that are going on in the world right now people don't really notice them.

[SPEAKER_08]: I am telling you that if this and when you hear India

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, one of those countries where a lot of things are made, they come to the United States.

[SPEAKER_08]: If you start seeing this happen on a regular basis.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I think it is, and because the trade deficits that they talk about with these countries are significant because they send a lot more to us than we send to them.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I think you're going to see not necessarily a rebellion, but I think maybe people are going to get a little more dissatisfied and loud in their criticism, but I have no idea.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know whether we'll have our head in the sand or whether it'll be something.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's going to take years to look back on this and see what this timeframe means for America.

[SPEAKER_06]: Really?

[SPEAKER_06]: I think we're still a country because we don't.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's so hard to get facts right now.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everything's opinion.

[SPEAKER_06]: No matter what news you turn on, there's an opinion.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it is, but a bit of the price of prices are not a price.

[SPEAKER_06]: Right.

[SPEAKER_06]: But the question is, why are the prices increasing?

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I think corporate greed or is it tariffs?

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I can say that we won't.

[SPEAKER_08]: First of all, I don't think there's a win in that situation because if it is

[SPEAKER_08]: If it is tariff's Josh, it's tariffs.

[SPEAKER_08]: If it is corporations taking advantage of policy to use it as an excuse, those are both non-win situations.

[SPEAKER_08]: But getting back to it, I want your thoughts on this, both of you.

[SPEAKER_08]: I have this overwhelming feeling.

[SPEAKER_08]: about the people who are in charge right now and building ballrooms and building and you know and going to Mara Logo and the elite.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm down here, Naples Florida, just a short drive away, where I'm surrounded by this and I think that it is very difficult for somebody in the one percent category

[SPEAKER_08]: to have any feeling whatsoever of economic hardship unless, of course, the stock market goes berserk.

[SPEAKER_08]: But when you're talking about socks, or you're talking about breadmilk toilet paper, that type of stuff, that, you know, John Q. average goes out and deals with, they are much more aware of it.

[SPEAKER_08]: than the people who have the money.

[SPEAKER_08]: People who have money don't necessarily think it's a big deal.

[SPEAKER_06]: We saw that last year when Joe Scorborough was he had a viral clip going because he didn't know the price of eggs.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's that one percent and that's the problem with the way our whole government is set up is you have to be so corrupt to get to the top that everyone's corrupt by the time they get there.

[SPEAKER_06]: So what is the solution?

[SPEAKER_06]: Burn it all down.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know it.

[SPEAKER_06]: And that's no idea.

[SPEAKER_06]: That is kind of like good.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, you're kind of a nihilist when it comes to the idea of government and burning down.

[SPEAKER_08]: So people think

[SPEAKER_08]: I want to make sure that our listeners know that when we're arguing about both, and you do mostly when you're giving me a counterpoint, you do have both sides thing, but I think that I get a sense from you that as opposed to being a, quote, Trumper,

[SPEAKER_08]: You are, you were more inclined to vote for Trump because you wanted to take a big stick of dynamite and blow the whole thing up because you don't trust any of us.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, I don't.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_06]: And when you talk about corruption in like Trump bringing in his friends, I see that there's been corruption for years.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think Clinton and Biden and Obama administrations were all corrupt.

[SPEAKER_06]: And Bush.

[SPEAKER_06]: And Bush.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, totally Bush.

[SPEAKER_06]: True.

[SPEAKER_06]: All those.

[SPEAKER_06]: Great.

[SPEAKER_06]: Much, pretty much every time.

[SPEAKER_06]: Every one of my entire life.

[SPEAKER_06]: Films been corrupt in that way.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right, so you'll be happy to see.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: You talk about the Roman Empire collapse.

[SPEAKER_06]: And for years I've been here and people on the other side talk about how are we heading to a civil war through the same idea.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think they liked to hype out this.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, our country can't handle this and our country can't last and it always does.

[SPEAKER_09]: Josh, will you entertain a question for me because of the three of us?

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm probably the least politically oriented.

[SPEAKER_09]: When you run around when you're in your political circles, or you follow your news on Fox, how many people voted for Trump?

[SPEAKER_09]: Or how many just voted because they wanted something different?

[SPEAKER_09]: And it was just like, hey, let's give this a Trump, which is not a great idea to run a government, but not, but Trump is

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you saw the whole way he ran was the whole America first, was people just tired of us getting involved in other wars and everything.

[SPEAKER_06]: He totally wrote on the coat rails to a tales of, we got to get out of these wars and all that.

[SPEAKER_06]: So everything totally just comes up.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is the way I feel about the Trump administration right now and the policies we're seeing right now.

[SPEAKER_08]: The negativity

[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm a negative guy, as you know, a negative of the policy.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's round them up and put them in the alligator alcatraz.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's, you can't come to this country to study.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, you can't get, you just say like, six hundred thousand Chinese students could come in with, with visas or something to study.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, but I'm talking about in general, it's been more of a challenge for people to get in and out of this country.

[SPEAKER_09]: And it has been, can those Chinese students bring Mike some golf clothes, but my point, the point I'm saying is that

[SPEAKER_08]: the policy is this everything to me and this is my opinion is hard as it's everything is you can't do this or you can't do this or we're going to do it and nothing is

[SPEAKER_08]: I think that when you're dealing with a nervous put-up on, stressed out people in the United States, I think people do need a balance between hard-assness and lack of compassion, and we're gonna help you a little bit, and that's what I get frustrated about.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's all flipping non-compassionate, BS that we get from the United States.

[SPEAKER_06]: I think all that my side is asking is that we can play by the rules.

[SPEAKER_06]: That we have rules lined up.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I'm saying.

[SPEAKER_08]: Rules are rules.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, so many people have been asked.

[SPEAKER_08]: People wouldn't have to remember.

[SPEAKER_08]: When you go to a bureaucracy and they say, if I do it for you, I'll have to do it for everybody.

[SPEAKER_08]: And that is the, I have been on the receiving end of that.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I just think that we need more

[SPEAKER_08]: then we're getting.

[SPEAKER_08]: And then there's got to be more of a balance.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's like national guard in the streets can only get you so far.

[SPEAKER_08]: It can only get you so far before it gets to be completely out of control.

[SPEAKER_06]: Totally.

[SPEAKER_06]: But at the same time, we can't just get you allow you to take everything for free out of CBS and just walk out and we're not gonna arrest you because we've allowed it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm just curious.

[SPEAKER_06]: There's a balance that we gotta find.

[SPEAKER_09]: when the when the GOP talks about we just want to play by the rules.

[SPEAKER_09]: Going above the constitution, is that playing by the rules?

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm just curious.

[SPEAKER_08]: Went when party people had tried to, uh, burn the flag.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, we're imprisoned because the damage they did to the capital is that playing by the rules.

[SPEAKER_09]: And also saying that I can put a national guard troops in Chicago because I'm the president.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I can do anything.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I explain that yesterday.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's not doing that.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's he he he he set that up.

[SPEAKER_06]: so that the Democrats would fall into it, like the mayor going on MSNBC yesterday and refusing to say if adding more police would help crime.

[SPEAKER_06]: But that is still not enough to say your soft on crime.

[SPEAKER_06]: But it's really, really not blamed by the rules.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't see what I'm saying happening.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's words.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's just like I'm saying he's going to run for a third term.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's not running for a third term.

[SPEAKER_06]: He knows that, but he knows if I say this that all of Mike's TV channels blow up and they all talk about this and what are my media channels?

[SPEAKER_08]: I have not watched MSNBC I haven't watched I have not watched MSNBC.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I was just using you as an example.

[SPEAKER_08]: I know because but it's not fair and I'm gonna tell you I have not watched MSNBC or CNN

[SPEAKER_08]: in probably, well, certainly MSNBC.

[SPEAKER_08]: I've watched CNN if there's, you know, an earthquake or a fire or something like that.

[SPEAKER_08]: But by and large, I haven't watched MSNBC where I was a regular in months, months that I haven't watched that.

[SPEAKER_08]: I get most of my information really online now and it's usually in headline form.

[SPEAKER_08]: And if there's one

[SPEAKER_08]: left-wing periodical that I probably read more than any other.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's the Atlantic which is a very liberal publication and I think they're amazingly well written and that's why I do that overall.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just kind of observing and the point I really wanted to make about all of this is that with the negative approval ratings

[SPEAKER_08]: It doesn't matter.

[SPEAKER_08]: With the national guard in the streets, it ain't going to matter.

[SPEAKER_08]: With alligator out the tracks, it ain't going to matter.

[SPEAKER_08]: If these tariffs, whether corporations do it or the tariffs themselves result in it, if these start sending the prices,

[SPEAKER_08]: North of an inflation that we already have, you're going to, that's where things are going to bite Trump in the ass.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, a hundred percent.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's all I want to say.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to go either way.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's what, and that's been my argument.

[SPEAKER_06]: The whole time is anything to play out and it either works or it doesn't.

[SPEAKER_08]: And if it doesn't, that will be the key to the thing.

[SPEAKER_08]: Because we have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, of a doubt, that the chaos, the lack of qualifications in high levels of government, the lack of any kind of morality in his personal life, none of that.

[SPEAKER_08]: move the meter.

[SPEAKER_08]: None of them.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I think the Republicans way back when when he ran the first time, the Republicans in the primary, they didn't know that.

[SPEAKER_08]: And they were screaming at just like the Democrats screaming, where they said, this guy does this, this guy didn't matter.

[SPEAKER_08]: What mattered was get the bombs out.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's what mattered to the American people.

[SPEAKER_08]: And the problem I have now is

[SPEAKER_08]: When things are torn down, it's not always that easy to build him back.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I think there are certain things that we need in this country that we're not getting.

[SPEAKER_08]: A baseline.

[SPEAKER_09]: A baseline that still bothers me is I don't think when he announced his candidacy, his first candidacy way back when he really wanted to be president.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then when it came out that he could be president, he was a factor in it.

[SPEAKER_09]: He's so scared to lose.

[SPEAKER_09]: that he's going to do everything he can to push forward and it's going to benefit him and maybe not the country and I don't think his priorities are in place and I don't think they ever were because I don't think he ever really wanted the job.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's where I look at it.

[SPEAKER_06]: But I think they all are.

[SPEAKER_08]: They're not rich when they come in.

[SPEAKER_08]: They certainly get rich when they do it.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's a huge problem.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's one way to fix things.

[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_08]: And term limits is a good way to do it.

[SPEAKER_06]: And they should, you know, we'll say, talk trading limits and all that.

[SPEAKER_06]: And by the way, they put in.

[SPEAKER_08]: The people on my team, Josh, that are putting up the muscle-bound pictures of Gavin Newsom, appearing to get ready to be sleeping with Ivanka and Mola.

[SPEAKER_08]: We're doing the same thing.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I'm not blaming him.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's his new angle.

[SPEAKER_06]: His new angle is to try to act like Trump.

[SPEAKER_08]: The virility of Trump.

[SPEAKER_08]: Some might say he's mocking, but I don't think Gavin said, hey, put that picture on a must now.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to end.

[SPEAKER_08]: And the arms around the AI versions of Melania and Ivanka is the world we live in.

[SPEAKER_08]: But get ready.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm nervous.

[SPEAKER_08]: I tell you, if I'm nervous about anything, I'm nervous about tariffs and what's going to happen, you know?

[SPEAKER_08]: Because you know, Rob, I buy all of my shoes from India.

[SPEAKER_09]: I know, Mike, and it also,

[SPEAKER_09]: dictates the way you dress.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes it does.

[SPEAKER_09]: You've always dressed as if you're from India and I like to look good.

[SPEAKER_08]: And you do.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's like about wearing suspenders when you think grease and

[SPEAKER_08]: all right last night cracker barrel this was a scam we called of course it was a scam we did it last night cracker barrel announced that they were caving no they weren't they playing this all along billions of dollars in free publicity

[SPEAKER_08]: Absolutely, and then they'd scrap plans to replace their classic logo with a less dated refresh.

[SPEAKER_08]: Now, I wouldn't share this with you normally because I do think it's a scam when we're giving them that publicity they don't deserve.

[SPEAKER_08]: However, there was a one-factoid in here that I felt was necessary to do this.

[SPEAKER_08]: They said, here's their quote.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here's their corporate BS quote.

[SPEAKER_08]: We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Crankabero.

[SPEAKER_08]: We said we would listen.

[SPEAKER_08]: Our new logo is going away, but our old timer will remain.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here's what I didn't realize.

[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't realize that Cracker Barrel originally opened back in nineteen sixteen nine, didn't know that fact.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_08]: And most of their clientele was still on high school back then because they have now seen your citizen.

[SPEAKER_08]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_08]: Enjoy the Cracker Barrel.

[SPEAKER_08]: But the old timer, the guy that's next to the barrel.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't realize he had a name.

[SPEAKER_08]: Did you know he had a name, Rob?

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't know he had a name.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uncle Hershel.

[SPEAKER_09]: Uncle Hershel.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uncle Hershel.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's so nice.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he's been around since nineteen seventy seven.

[SPEAKER_08]: Cracker barrel didn't apologize for their hurt feelings.

[SPEAKER_08]: God.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is like a PR release.

[SPEAKER_08]: And you know my view.

[SPEAKER_09]: The thing you called the best was they're not going to replace the signs because it's too expensive.

[SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[SPEAKER_09]: They did roll out a few menus with the new logo and I was wondering if they were even around long enough to get sticky.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because that's the hallmark of a cracker barrel.

[SPEAKER_09]: The sticky menu.

[SPEAKER_06]: Uncle Hershel approved.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's the Hershel is the real life uncle of the company's founder Dan Evans.

[SPEAKER_06]: Wow, it's real old life.

[SPEAKER_08]: I bet he's in the back making shredded lettuce, Rob.

[SPEAKER_08]: I can't see what it is.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yep, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you for the banjo music.

[SPEAKER_08]: Google looked at the top trending how to stop buying blank.

[SPEAKER_08]: searches that we've been googling this year.

[SPEAKER_08]: Unless you're a kid, number one on the list is one of the nerdy or addictions you can have.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here are the five things.

[SPEAKER_08]: Americans can't stop buying in twenty twenty five.

[SPEAKER_08]: Let me know if you're sucked in by any of these.

[SPEAKER_08]: Number five.

[SPEAKER_08]: How to stop buying fast fashion.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right, so that was a Google search.

[SPEAKER_08]: Same as last one.

[SPEAKER_08]: Just, well, there.

[SPEAKER_08]: That means right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Did you know that Dupesh mode means fast fashion?

[SPEAKER_09]: Really?

[SPEAKER_09]: The band was named that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what five to five to one.

[SPEAKER_08]: Pokemon cards are number one on the right.

[SPEAKER_09]: It eludes me.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't buy them.

[SPEAKER_08]: My kid is obsessed.

[SPEAKER_08]: But he now, you know, when he keep your kids in activities and sports, he hardly has a second that's unaccounted for in his day.

[SPEAKER_08]: And because of that, he will drift less towards Pokemon.

[SPEAKER_09]: Robert is twenty two and he will still occasionally buy Pokemon cards.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I mean, it exists.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's become a real problem.

[SPEAKER_08]: Full grown adults fighting each other for boxes of them at Walmart and Costco.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's horrible.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, horrible.

[SPEAKER_08]: One woman recently turned to Reddit for advice after her husband racked up ready for this.

[SPEAKER_08]: One hundred thousand dollars in debt to the Pokemon cards.

[SPEAKER_08]: How much are there's cards worth?

[SPEAKER_08]: Can you sell them?

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you can sell.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think the really big one is like two hundred grand, maybe.

[SPEAKER_08]: Like the one, like the homeless.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: How many times you think you tried to justify that to his wife?

[SPEAKER_06]: Amazing.

[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's gambling.

[SPEAKER_09]: And again, something's only worth as much as someone's going to pay for it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And they can say that it's a quarter of a million dollar card.

[SPEAKER_09]: But if you don't have anyone that's going to pay that, here's the other one.

[SPEAKER_08]: Number two, on the list.

[SPEAKER_08]: Water bottles.

[SPEAKER_08]: Guilty, guilty, guilty.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm talking about her, or like, I've talked about Cork, sickle, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y

[SPEAKER_06]: I will bring in the collection of my son and my talk where people have replaced full cabinets with just that's the water bottle cabinet.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, insanity.

[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe ten years ago and every other one of my house has been free.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because people give them away.

[SPEAKER_08]: Like companies and stuff.

[SPEAKER_08]: Remind me.

[SPEAKER_08]: And even if I'm in here and I haven't done it, I will run out to the kitchen.

[SPEAKER_08]: I will do it.

[SPEAKER_08]: I will provide for you the water bottles.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's insane.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm guilty.

[SPEAKER_08]: Are they?

[SPEAKER_09]: Are they logoed?

[SPEAKER_08]: Some of them are logoed, some of them have like writing where I got them as a gift.

[SPEAKER_08]: Let's see.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let's go further than this mic if you want a water bottle.

[SPEAKER_08]: There it is.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: The loud cup.

[SPEAKER_08]: Number three is books.

[SPEAKER_08]: How to stop buying books if you can afford them and actually read them no problem.

[SPEAKER_08]: Otherwise Google the word library.

[SPEAKER_09]: I thought during the Trump administration, people weren't reading books anymore.

[SPEAKER_08]: Not just burning.

[SPEAKER_08]: I bought a book from a pulp fiction book from Costco, James Patterson, and one of his go-strader guys.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's not a go-strader.

[SPEAKER_08]: He collaborates with these young authors.

[SPEAKER_08]: Clothing.

[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_08]: If you can't find room in your closet or dresser, you've probably got enough clothes.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: It couldn't we all do with an eighty to ninety percent reduction in clothes.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love when I go through my Facebook memories and I'm wearing the same shirt today that I was wearing eight years ago and sometimes that happens.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: uh... fast fashion and by the way the uh... the chinese websites of timo dh gate uh... shine all of those that that's the it's cheaper but it's resulted in feeding the obsession you have anything that you can't stop buying even though you know it's probably not a wise purchase

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I think that here's how I know this.

[SPEAKER_08]: I buy the cheap golf shoes, right?

[SPEAKER_08]: Right.

[SPEAKER_08]: Right.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I love the newness of them because when you go out there and they're nice and new and try and then, you know, a few rounds of golf and you notice the, you know, the scuffs and the scruffs and then, you know, some of them you can get off with a little clock swipe, some of them you can't.

[SPEAKER_08]: And then you start thinking, well, I need one to look newer and shine here.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I see guys that are very well off.

[SPEAKER_08]: They look like they've had the same shoes since the Carter administration.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you think it's like they just think they're lucky?

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you think that they think that they're comfortable or not?

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I've always read this about people of wealth.

[SPEAKER_08]: There are a lot of people that have real wealth that you would never in a million years know.

[SPEAKER_08]: You would never know they were sitting on that kind of fortune because they don't.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's not ostentation.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: Don't show it.

[SPEAKER_08]: You want to show something?

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thanks, Rob.

[SPEAKER_08]: And the fast fashion, again, same as the last one, clothing, cheap clothes.

[SPEAKER_08]: You buy just to keep up with the trends.

[SPEAKER_08]: I buy cheap clothes because it gives me a feeling of satisfaction that I'm doing well.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I need to stop buying albums.

[SPEAKER_09]: LP's.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's your obsession.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's my obsession.

[SPEAKER_09]: And it's hard because if something drops that I really want, and it's right in the area of being

[SPEAKER_09]: unreasonably expensive.

[SPEAKER_08]: Right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Like if it's like in that thirty dollar range, it's like, yeah, you know who I know is obsessed with a certain clothing item.

[SPEAKER_08]: Our friend down in the bottom of the screen here, Mr. Soroka is a jersey buyer.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's true.

[SPEAKER_08]: And a lot of water bottles, but you got a lot of jerseys.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, I don't.

[SPEAKER_05]: You did do that.

[SPEAKER_05]: So what are your TikToks?

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you have like ten jerseys on.

[SPEAKER_05]: I do.

[SPEAKER_05]: I've been in order those fan for forty years.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I mean one of the last ones when was the last one you bought last year.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: Last year, I bought a gunner Henderson Jersey, which was the first Jersey I bought in years, and I bought it because none of my Jersey's were of current players.

[SPEAKER_06]: I buy that because I like the name Gunner.

[SPEAKER_08]: Does Kelly give you any hard time about sports paraphernalia that you purchase?

[SPEAKER_08]: No, she does not.

[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't, I per tell enough, but not like, not like, oh, I have to grab all of these.

[SPEAKER_06]: When was the last bubble head you bought?

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's probably the beginning of the season.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, no, you bought a bobble head when you were up for the Jimmy's thing.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, it was free.

[SPEAKER_06]: That doesn't count as buying.

[SPEAKER_06]: It does.

[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't.

[SPEAKER_08]: It does when you have very set.

[SPEAKER_08]: We're getting a week.

[SPEAKER_08]: We've tapped in this.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, I'm being accused of things that are not true.

[SPEAKER_09]: But you did have to pay top dollar to have them shipped.

[SPEAKER_06]: I did have to ship them home.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: So wasn't really free.

[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just speculating that.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's all.

[SPEAKER_06]: At the same time that I shipped the Bible head, I returned my Michael Marisho Derby hat to balance out the difference.

[SPEAKER_06]: Ah, even Steven.

[SPEAKER_08]: And that was not a micro-marisho derby hat.

[SPEAKER_08]: Nobody likes derby hat.

[SPEAKER_08]: Don't make it sound like you send somebody back to our store for grace.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, we don't take returns.

[SPEAKER_08]: We don't.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, nonsense.

[SPEAKER_09]: We love our customers.

[SPEAKER_09]: We do indeed.

[SPEAKER_09]: We don't sleep until they're happy.

[SPEAKER_08]: In case you didn't know, and I don't know why you would, Milly Bobby Brown.

[SPEAKER_08]: She hates wearing a bra.

[SPEAKER_08]: She says her fans have to see her nipple whenever she's out and about, so naturally she came out with the top

[SPEAKER_08]: for her fashion brand, Florence By Mills, that doesn't require a brush.

[SPEAKER_08]: She says it's her favorite piece.

[SPEAKER_08]: Her brand has come out with so far, and it's fully supportive, but still no broth.

[SPEAKER_08]: And because you care, and there's a certain segment of our audience.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, I mean, I wouldn't have been wearing sports bras and that athletic look.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I think, before we proceed, you must mention that she is twenty one years old now.

[SPEAKER_09]: She's not the little girl that we used to see on Stranger Things.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, she's, and now she's kind of somebody that's married.

[SPEAKER_09]: And Mary, the John Bon Jovi's kids.

[SPEAKER_08]: So she's in the Dua Leap page, you know, she's in the influencer category.

[SPEAKER_08]: So she's fine with releasing this particular video that we will look at right now.

[SPEAKER_12]: the news for you.

[SPEAKER_12]: This is our new power mesh plunge.

[SPEAKER_12]: This is our long sleeve top and saucy.

[SPEAKER_12]: I am so obsessed.

[SPEAKER_12]: I will say, you might have said it before, but this is my favorite thing we've dropped so far.

[SPEAKER_12]: For a girl who hates wearing a bra and boy and my fans have to see my nipples on a day-to-day.

[SPEAKER_12]: But I don't like wearing a bra and you do not need a bra with this top.

[SPEAKER_12]: I feel fully supported.

[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: So comfortable.

[SPEAKER_12]: This match.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's like the fabric of the fall.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's stretchy.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_12]: You can style it up, which is what I was thinking of doing for you now.

[SPEAKER_12]: Let's pair it for our skin.

[SPEAKER_12]: And a cute little bow.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right, we get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: We're just going to drop that fake accent.

[SPEAKER_08]: You didn't realize that.

[SPEAKER_08]: I know you were disappointed when you found out.

[SPEAKER_06]: Mike, I know for a fact she was born in Minnesota.

[SPEAKER_06]: She's the little bald kid, bald girl from Stranger Things.

[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you for saying that, making it more creepy, guys.

[SPEAKER_09]: The little bald girl.

[SPEAKER_18]: The little bald girl.

[SPEAKER_18]: The little bald girl.

[SPEAKER_09]: Just broke it and his new jersey that just says little bald girl.

[SPEAKER_08]: Finally today a middle aged man in Spain was arrested last week after he set fire to a cafe when he was told that they were out of

[SPEAKER_08]: Mayonnaise.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mayonnaise.

[SPEAKER_08]: Anyone messing around surveillance cameras show him, uh, get that sounds like an anchor man right there.

[SPEAKER_08]: He wasn't messing around surveillance cameras.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm getting up from the table and talking to a waiter.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, that's when talking to a wife.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm talking to a waiter.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's when he went over to another way, the same thing.

[SPEAKER_07]: He stormed out of the place, walked over to a gas station.

[SPEAKER_08]: Next door came back with a can of gas.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my God.

[SPEAKER_08]: Jim, he poured it on the bar.

[SPEAKER_08]: Then he said it on fire.

[SPEAKER_08]: We have the bar on here if you want to speak with the mayor.

[SPEAKER_08]: I love to speak.

[SPEAKER_08]: Now I think she said, I think the bar knows she said everything she wanted to say.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I've got follow go get her.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, what do you want to know?

[SPEAKER_09]: I want to talk.

[SPEAKER_09]: Listen, Mike, if I have to teach you how to be a reporter, I'll do that later.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I was your editor once.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you were and are no longer.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: And see, I thought we did really good.

[SPEAKER_08]: You did well.

[SPEAKER_08]: You did well with it.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's what I wanted.

[SPEAKER_08]: And are no longer is what I really want.

[SPEAKER_08]: Anyway, the flames, what are we doing?

[SPEAKER_08]: We're doing the TV thing.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know what?

[SPEAKER_08]: Her, her, her, well,

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, which is, which is Saturday Night Live character.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, the flame shot up all the customers ran out, but thankfully the staff was able to use fire extinguishers.

[SPEAKER_08]: The guy did accidentally set his own hand on fire before fleeing the scene, setting fire to a Spanish bar, ten thousand dollars watching the man set his own hand on fire in the process.

[SPEAKER_08]: priceless yes indeed but of course uh if you're you know going over to Spain and you do want mayonnaise the most popular brand in Barcelona is called L Duke

[SPEAKER_08]: There it is.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_09]: But it depends on the, if you go into the wrong business and ask for L dux, right, it could be a problem.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's also where one of our podcasts, but he's Chad Duxa.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's what they call his show in a, they downloaded in Mexico.

[SPEAKER_08]: Michael, they don't in Spain have Elmans.

[SPEAKER_08]: Bellman.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: That was that was it.

[SPEAKER_08]: We've got lots of show coming up.

[SPEAKER_08]: But first ladies and gentlemen, I really want to tell you about a brand new

[SPEAKER_08]: sponsor.

[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_08]: I found it.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's not brand new.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, but sponsor for a while.

[SPEAKER_09]: They're so great.

[SPEAKER_09]: It feels like the first time every time.

[SPEAKER_08]: I had to turn my brain back on just then because, uh, you know, sometimes at night, I have trouble shutting it off.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, but not with souls out of office, gummies, great segue.

[SPEAKER_08]: Are you, uh, they're your ticket.

[SPEAKER_08]: Let's start again.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm in love with the fifteen.

[SPEAKER_09]: Rob wake up!

[SPEAKER_09]: No, it would be me just saying something to them say, what was I saying?

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, let's take talk live from.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's my favorite sponsor we've ever had.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think

[SPEAKER_08]: Movie Review for Old Movie Time, Movie Review for Old Movie Time, Josh Stroke is turning into Rob Spiewack and went to an old movie in the theater.

[SPEAKER_08]: Clue did.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's all clue.

[SPEAKER_08]: Clue is for the old anniversary.

[SPEAKER_08]: Is it forty years old?

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's about right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: I saw him out here.

[SPEAKER_08]: A similar thing that I know you would love Rob and I might even be right next to you on that one.

[SPEAKER_08]: But tell us about Josh.

[SPEAKER_08]: I was experienced.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I was shocked it was sold out.

[SPEAKER_06]: When I went, lots of people there really excited about this movie, laughing at everything that wasn't that funny.

[SPEAKER_06]: What was the door factor in the theater in your humble opinion?

[SPEAKER_06]: A bunch of Rob's B-wax and Wigs.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: This is where they was wearing Wigs.

[SPEAKER_09]: They just looked like they had hair.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I might have been the youngest person there.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, now Kelly went with me, so Kelly was the youngest person there.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I'll tell you, I've never seen Clio as ten minutes into it.

[SPEAKER_06]: I said, oh, this is a Rob's B-Wack movie.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now what would it's all, it's all puns.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's all puns and stupid jokes.

[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of wordplay, yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now, about two thirds into it, when Tim Curry's running around and starting to put the pieces together.

[SPEAKER_07]: Right, exactly.

[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_06]: So that's when I, but that's when I really enjoyed the movie and started me like, all right, this is a fun movie.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: And then it's strong for you.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's good.

[SPEAKER_06]: And the nineteen eighty five homosexuality references.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, also fun.

[SPEAKER_06]: Because we have worked the way from those type of jokes.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, it's the land you want to live in.

[SPEAKER_08]: Where, you know, where, where the, where the, where the, and the gaze are routinely picked on make America great again.

[SPEAKER_09]: The weird thing about that strain of humor and clue is that there was the nineteen eighty five sort of rationale for making the jokes, but a movie based in nineteen fifty five.

[SPEAKER_09]: So they were writing about something that was already out of date.

[SPEAKER_06]: But all and all thumbs up thumbs down.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's a thumbs up.

[SPEAKER_06]: It was, but it took me about half the movie, two thirds of the movie to enjoy it.

[SPEAKER_06]: It gets better the more you watch it.

[SPEAKER_08]: That reference to the nineteen.

[SPEAKER_08]: He's gay jokes.

[SPEAKER_08]: I just turned that crash.

[SPEAKER_08]: Every time Josh says something like that, trip app like throws a coffee cup.

[SPEAKER_08]: There it is, ladies and gentlemen, but any who show you on a scale of one to ten storokas, how many do you give it?

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it's probably a seven.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's strong.

[SPEAKER_06]: It really strong ended for me.

[SPEAKER_09]: And also, Mike, you have to know that it is a better movie now than when it was released because remember, the thing was when it was released

[SPEAKER_09]: It had three different endings.

[SPEAKER_09]: So if you wanted to see all the endings, you had to go to all the theaters to do it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I saw two of them.

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't see the third, but now they have re-edited it for television.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'd probably for your presentation last night that includes all three endings.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's much more satisfying.

[SPEAKER_06]: I only got one end in.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, really?

[SPEAKER_06]: But it's what the people said was the like the pinnacle.

[SPEAKER_06]: The best end in the back end.

[SPEAKER_08]: Good.

[SPEAKER_08]: Before we move on here, I do want to mention Rob, I don't know whether you've seen it or not, but they are in Joshua, you might be intrigued in this too.

[SPEAKER_08]: The sphere out in Las Vegas, running this amazingly recreated wizard of Oz that just looks like it might be really special.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'd chop off a toe to go there.

[SPEAKER_08]: And one of my good toes, just really special to see.

[SPEAKER_08]: And now where they hyping it, first of all, I hate that when they're talking about the work that was done and how wonderful we are in that.

[SPEAKER_08]: I know they're hyping the movie, but it really does look like they have done a CGI recreation and kept the integrity of the film, but they might be also doing some special effects in the sphere, is that true?

[SPEAKER_09]: Two things that play here is that the Wizard of Oz was never filmed in widescreen and it was never, you know, reformatted to widescreen because it was in nineteen thirty nine.

[SPEAKER_09]: It has a four by three ratio.

[SPEAKER_09]: So the sphere as you know as a massive screen.

[SPEAKER_09]: And there are scenes where they had to digitally extend the set, if that makes sense.

[SPEAKER_08]: Like background and the enhanced it as well.

[SPEAKER_08]: And it's gorgeous.

[SPEAKER_08]: It looks amazing.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I always wanted to go to, I think everybody that cares about any kind of entertainment would love to go visit the sphere.

[SPEAKER_08]: And did you guys ever go inside?

[SPEAKER_08]: Didn't they give tours or something like that?

[SPEAKER_08]: I have not done it.

[SPEAKER_06]: You didn't you were going to do it weren't you Josh at one point.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I want I want to I just didn't have time when we were Yeah, we were busy the other thing that they're doing is Mike and you incorporated this is what they call the four two busy spending time in the anus of loss Yes, we all had to deal with Josh's plumbing problems these the hours were eaten up but the you can zip line from one side of the anus to the other

[SPEAKER_09]: They do have special effects or what they call for de-effects like when the cyclone is coming through the tornado they kick up wind and leaves and paper in the fear so you feel like you're in a drive it just to be in that room would be so cool and I like concerts somewhat not like you do

[SPEAKER_08]: But, you know, to go see you two or the Eagles or whoever's there, Kelly wants to go see the back street boys who are there now.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't care at all about them, but I would go just to be in the sphere.

[SPEAKER_06]: Now are they just the sphere, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: The presentation.

[SPEAKER_09]: Are the back street boys are they performing or like selling programs?

[SPEAKER_09]: What are they doing at the sphere?

[SPEAKER_09]: They are making it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Billions of dollars.

[SPEAKER_08]: I know it's ridiculous.

[SPEAKER_09]: It is ridiculous.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, they're popular.

[SPEAKER_08]: They really are.

[SPEAKER_08]: But I mean, this to me would be almost an excuse to, you know, flirt with my heart.

[SPEAKER_08]: Dgenerate gambler.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: I also like the giant legs outside of the sphere.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: We're having the sphere fell on.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: And they also do a thing where the Dorothy's checkerboard, blue and white dress, they do that.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, that is really, you got to hand it sometimes to Vegas for coming up with another attraction where I'm surprised we haven't seen development of spheres in other city.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm laughing County, we have the tube.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's gotta take a lot of work.

[SPEAKER_05]: does.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm going to imagine it does.

[SPEAKER_09]: So any who, uh, we can do, you cannot fly to Vegas to see it and then miss it because you're on a hot run.

[SPEAKER_09]: You've got, if you fly to see it, you've got to see it.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: I know.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I really would love to do that.

[SPEAKER_08]: You know, if I'd love to make you there.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that would be fun.

[SPEAKER_08]: I would love to know.

[SPEAKER_08]: I would go.

[SPEAKER_08]: I would go, but I mean, you know, I'm scared.

[SPEAKER_08]: I really am.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm scared because you know what I love to do the most.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: And, you know, there will be doubt about it with the flying monkeys.

[SPEAKER_08]: Also scary.

[SPEAKER_08]: By the way, as a little bitty, when I watched that, the witch scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid along with many people in the baby boomer era.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that were terrified by that movie.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I was scared of the munchkins.

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't mind the witch.

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't like all the little people.

[SPEAKER_08]: You didn't like especially.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we're terrifying.

[SPEAKER_08]: We're terrifying.

[SPEAKER_08]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_08]: And who knows behind the scene the whole time they were bang and like rabbits.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you Mike.

[SPEAKER_09]: They had it.

[SPEAKER_09]: They were a troupe called the singer midgets and Leo singer.

[SPEAKER_09]: This is true.

[SPEAKER_09]: Took a bus around the United States, find dwarves or little people to be in the movie.

[SPEAKER_09]: And there was like a hundred of them.

[SPEAKER_09]: And they were all pissed because they got paid less than Toto.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, they really did.

[SPEAKER_08]: Boy, they really owned them.

[SPEAKER_08]: They really did.

[SPEAKER_08]: And then they got back and then they got back and then the entire movie.

[SPEAKER_08]: He had a better agent.

[SPEAKER_08]: We got to move on.

[SPEAKER_08]: Come on up.

[SPEAKER_08]: I do have to ask you guys a food question.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'll pass food question first.

[SPEAKER_08]: I want to tell you that shopping is a low key hassle.

[SPEAKER_08]: Enough already.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank god times have changed and everything you need.

[SPEAKER_08]: I want to ask you guys about a new place that's getting a little buzz down here.

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have in the DC area?

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have a water burger up there?

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have water?

[SPEAKER_09]: I think we do.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've seen it.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I can't place where it would be.

[SPEAKER_09]: What's that noise?

[SPEAKER_08]: All that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody's pounding.

[SPEAKER_08]: Is that my house?

[SPEAKER_06]: That is your house.

[SPEAKER_06]: There's no pound in at my house.

[SPEAKER_06]: Do you think they're fixing the roof already?

[SPEAKER_08]: We just did you call it?

[SPEAKER_08]: We did.

[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, we, I would say, I would say.

[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see.

[SPEAKER_08]: She approved the, the thing yesterday.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's quick.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you want to go out and make sure it's not a burglar?

[SPEAKER_06]: Let me just make sure they're on the roof.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let me take it.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's just the cover charge.

[SPEAKER_06]: We do have a lot of burgers around here though.

[SPEAKER_09]: Aren't they in a lot of airports?

[SPEAKER_09]: It seems to me that that might be an airport.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's a Texas.

[SPEAKER_06]: I know it's a Texas fast food place.

[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm bringing up their map.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm bringing up the what a burger located menu.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?

[SPEAKER_08]: There's one near you.

[SPEAKER_08]: I just looked out the window.

[SPEAKER_09]: Uh-huh.

[SPEAKER_06]: Woodpecker.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, imagine that woodpecker.

[SPEAKER_08]: Be like, uh, one of those dough dough birds.

[SPEAKER_06]: Tell us.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: So you don't, you do or you don't have, do you have them in St.

[SPEAKER_06]: Augustine, John?

[SPEAKER_06]: We do.

[SPEAKER_06]: We have multiple here.

[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, it's not it's they.

[SPEAKER_06]: Good.

[SPEAKER_06]: Good burgers.

[SPEAKER_06]: Poor slow service is with my issue here.

[SPEAKER_06]: The burger.

[SPEAKER_06]: I have two or three locations.

[SPEAKER_06]: They're all that way.

[SPEAKER_08]: So you've been there anything stand out in your mind or is it just another burger joint?

[SPEAKER_06]: Um, they have a spicy ketchup that they give out little like, you know, like sauce containers.

[SPEAKER_06]: And really I go there for the onion rings and the spicy ketchup.

[SPEAKER_06]: So sadly, it's really good.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's not ketchup, but enjoy your onion rings.

[SPEAKER_09]: What is that?

[SPEAKER_09]: What am I doing?

[SPEAKER_08]: What are you doing?

[SPEAKER_09]: You're doing human blood.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, no water burger near me.

[SPEAKER_09]: I just did a Google search.

[SPEAKER_09]: I guess I've seen it on the road or maybe an airport?

[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_08]: But it's the isn't it the flavor of the month?

[SPEAKER_06]: It grew for burger joints right now.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: And Mike, you'll love it because they've got a ton of milkshakes.

[SPEAKER_06]: So they've got the ice cream side covered and they are twenty four hours.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, twenty four hours?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike, you're going to have to leave the app.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we can't hear you.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, same issue as yesterday, Mike.

[SPEAKER_06]: He said, I can read his lips.

[SPEAKER_06]: He said, damn it.

[SPEAKER_06]: What's weird is it's about the same time it happened in the show yesterday.

[SPEAKER_06]: Do you think he hit something?

[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe when he got up to look out the window.

[SPEAKER_09]: I maybe now what what how many different flavors of milkshakes this is intrigued?

[SPEAKER_09]: I think they've got like twenty four something because I I'm a big fan of the Chick-fil-A milkshakes and they recently They've changed their peach milkshake.

[SPEAKER_09]: They're not using fresh peaches anymore.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've noticed the same thing and it sucks.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, don't don't hear you Mike Don't not hear you

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the peach milkshake is not good.

[SPEAKER_06]: I get the when I go to water burger I get the.

[SPEAKER_06]: I just got it the other day the bacon wrangler double.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, describe this it's the.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's got like the crispy onion rings right barbecue sauce on a cheeseburger two different types of cheese with two patties and pickles and some type of sauce and bacon obviously.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there's bacon on there, too.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't go for barbecue sauce on a hamburger.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's not my scene.

[SPEAKER_09]: I can do it, but it's not my preferred.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's not my bag, man.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, you're back.

[SPEAKER_06]: They got a good thing.

[SPEAKER_06]: Not all.

[SPEAKER_06]: I see breakfast sandwich as well.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's pretty good.

[SPEAKER_08]: So what did they do that?

[SPEAKER_08]: What specifically did they do to the peach milkshake that deteriorate?

[SPEAKER_09]: They went from fresh peaches to what I consider either canned or frozen.

[SPEAKER_09]: And peaches change when you can tell by the flavor profile.

[SPEAKER_06]: hundred percent prior to that they had used fresh pieces and it was it was a game of things like I think at a fast food place in my whole opinion and they've also limited it down to just one size now and it's never big enough my kids sixty eight ounces oh man those pesky Christians I anyway we have to uh we want to borrow you can get a doctor pepper milkshake really I would do that I know you would I would I would drink that

[SPEAKER_08]: I'd go for it.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, sorry.

[SPEAKER_08]: I lost contact with you guys for a while.

[SPEAKER_09]: Whatever you do that, I always feel I've messed up and you just had written and which binge your closest water burger.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, maybe if I go see Julie, I can go get one.

[SPEAKER_09]: I like the shotgun.

[SPEAKER_09]: one of my all time favorites now.

[SPEAKER_09]: Um, this is a funny prank.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know if we covered it.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's a couple years old, but I've brought back something that I like to call the beautiful video Hall of Fame.

[SPEAKER_09]: And as a look backwards, this is the ladies first day at the office, and they have a nine o'clock meeting.

[SPEAKER_09]: And they don't say anything to set it up, but they start the meeting with the pledge of allegiance.

[SPEAKER_09]: And they obviously don't start every meeting with a bunch of allegiance.

[SPEAKER_09]: They're just working this lady and it's fun to watch her because it's so awkward.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's the lady and the cream on the lounge.

[SPEAKER_04]: She looks so comfortable.

[SPEAKER_02]: She does.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's better.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, say.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, lose the gum new girl.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey gum that ruin the video for me.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's a Rico Palazzo maybe before you do your meeting you spit out your gum

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike Morgan Wellen.

[SPEAKER_09]: I actually googled how to say his name.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I got it right country artist.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, in twenty sixteen they for this video has been bouncing around.

[SPEAKER_09]: They asked him what his dream lineup would be if he were at a concert.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now keep in mind right now.

[SPEAKER_09]: He is literally the hottest thing in country music.

[SPEAKER_09]: He is a big big star.

[SPEAKER_09]: But let's go back nine years and see what he'd like to do.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if I could have a dream one of show.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, hopefully, I'm the headliner.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll put Eric Church.

[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Cornell, any band that he's ever been involved with, I really don't care as long as he's there saying.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably put Drake there.

[SPEAKER_01]: And, hmm, Tim McGrull.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love the fact that Drake is now basically a punch line.

[SPEAKER_09]: And even as a man is ultimate line up, that's how things have changed in nine years.

[SPEAKER_06]: Why has he not put this together for like a one night thing yet?

[SPEAKER_06]: Because he's lazy.

[SPEAKER_06]: If it's going around the internet.

[SPEAKER_06]: Don't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: No idea.

[SPEAKER_09]: It would be a huge money maker.

[SPEAKER_09]: And Drake could also sell tickets.

[SPEAKER_08]: I just lied.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_08]: Sometimes I didn't want to lie when I said I'd go.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, I wouldn't go there.

[SPEAKER_09]: We're at the Wizard of Oz that night.

[SPEAKER_08]: If it's at the sphere, I'll go.

[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, Mike, stop lying.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, shut up.

[SPEAKER_08]: You shut up.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, go ahead.

[SPEAKER_09]: Speaking of country music, uh, I was worried that Billy Ray and Miley were estranged.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'd heard things that they don't get along anymore.

[SPEAKER_08]: It seems like they go on and off periodically.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, they seem to be back in a good place for Billy Ray's birthday, Miley recorded a song for him.

[SPEAKER_09]: He loves apparently Fleetwood Mac.

[SPEAKER_09]: So she wrote and recorded a song with Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood and sent it to him and tell me this doesn't sound like Fleetwood Mac and the full record will drop.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, but she's in her vocal quality is very great.

[SPEAKER_09]: Where are you here at?

[SPEAKER_09]: You're going to love it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And this will drop soon.

[SPEAKER_11]: I keep your secrets Like sunlight in the shadows Like footsteps in the grass

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't need to see him laying around in the ground.

[SPEAKER_07]: I also don't like the song.

[SPEAKER_07]: But it doesn't sound like Fleetwood.

[SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely, sounds like Fleetwood.

[SPEAKER_06]: Birthday present for him that she's now going to sell and make millions off of.

[SPEAKER_06]: That's true.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know what he's doing?

[SPEAKER_06]: It's a marketing.

[SPEAKER_09]: What he really like is a gift card for what a burger.

[SPEAKER_08]: And some some hair coloring.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike, that's all natural.

[SPEAKER_08]: He's like the guy used to see a motorcycle around.

[SPEAKER_08]: He's like, seven years old and he had black, I jet black, black stone beard.

[SPEAKER_09]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, the whole time.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, I love the, she's completely, I mean, if Stevie next ever, you know,

[SPEAKER_08]: She could do the tour.

[SPEAKER_08]: It buys the farm.

[SPEAKER_08]: Miley could do it.

[SPEAKER_08]: She's got that boy.

[SPEAKER_08]: And now, dip stay.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think, didn't we figure out, and I don't know if we haven't set up, we can do it right now, that when you use the voice changer to make your voice very low, but then saying, hi, that was the way to approximate Stevie Nicks.

[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_07]: Hold on a second.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think that's how we did it.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I just don't like that the song is about keeping our dance secrets.

[SPEAKER_09]: But you have to sing as low as you can now.

[SPEAKER_03]: Give me a flip with Max song, Rob.

[SPEAKER_03]: I gotta, um, let me sing.

[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, the chain.

[SPEAKER_03]: You don't love me now.

[SPEAKER_03]: Cause you don't love me now.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm in the same and I'm in the same.

[SPEAKER_03]: Can we send this off to Billy Rick Cyrus for a birthday present, please?

[SPEAKER_03]: Secret.

[SPEAKER_03]: Would you like to see Greg?

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you have a sugar-ed molly?

[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike, I know that if you're wearing a wedding ring, you wear an inexpensive one, right?

[SPEAKER_08]: I do.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'll stay in the steel.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have my original ring.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not wearing it right now because I took it off when I went to Kings Dominique as I didn't want it to fall off on the water rides.

[SPEAKER_09]: But care is good.

[SPEAKER_09]: But when did you go to Kings Dominion?

[SPEAKER_09]: Don't you remember July fourth?

[SPEAKER_06]: I just haven't put it back on.

[SPEAKER_06]: You want to see me put it back on?

[SPEAKER_09]: I'll put it back on.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, just it seems like an odd excuse.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I know it's my house, but I lost my wedding ring in a pool.

[SPEAKER_08]: Here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_08]: He leaves the house all the time without his wedding ring so he can go chase us.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love to come.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, get some trim at the Costco.

[SPEAKER_09]: It robs addicted to strange.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love strange Mike, but I did lose my ring once.

[SPEAKER_09]: I lost my ring once in a swimming pool and it's kind of flipped me out.

[SPEAKER_09]: Anyway, Carrie's ring is pretty expensive and it's a family heirloom.

[SPEAKER_09]: How far would you go if your wife lost their ring?

[SPEAKER_09]: And it's meant something.

[SPEAKER_09]: It wasn't like a replacement was the original ring.

[SPEAKER_08]: How far would you go to find it?

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Would you take in a compost file?

[SPEAKER_17]: Heing tons of rodding, steaming, stinking compost, and somewhere in his mound might might be his wife's wedding rings.

[SPEAKER_17]: He never takes them off.

[SPEAKER_17]: But while washing her hands at a restaurant, Janine Van Iseldeck realized they had somehow slipped off.

[SPEAKER_13]: I'm like, I can't even wait for the jack.

[SPEAKER_17]: After a frantic search, the couple figured the rings must have slipped off into the compost.

[SPEAKER_17]: But by now, the garbage had already been sold.

[SPEAKER_02]: So gross.

[SPEAKER_02]: Go to the dump in the morning and ask them if I could go through the compost pile.

[SPEAKER_13]: He said, let me try.

[SPEAKER_13]: I said, OK.

[SPEAKER_17]: In other words, just about a dollar, including Denny Webster at the Mission Sanitary.

[SPEAKER_17]: Denny Phil thought Denny helped us to cause.

[SPEAKER_18]: My brain was trying to figure out a way to tell them to go buy his wife new wedding rings.

[SPEAKER_18]: However, admiring the dedication.

[SPEAKER_17]: I was grabbing it from there.

[SPEAKER_17]: Webster dug out smaller piles for Steve Anisledike's smelly treasure hunt.

[SPEAKER_13]: When he has something on his mind, he makes sure he does it.

[SPEAKER_09]: what they noticed that's when they noticed it was gone and they got out of the restaurant and she she was washing her hands she noticed her rings were gone and they looked around the restaurant wasn't there and that's what she was reaching into the popcorn bag.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know because the public sausages are from home then.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, who eats sausages at the movies.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, not totally confused.

[SPEAKER_09]: The sausages are at home.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because, okay, they go to the way they hold on a second.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think it's that hard.

[SPEAKER_08]: New story starts out.

[SPEAKER_08]: They were at a restaurant.

[SPEAKER_08]: Right.

[SPEAKER_08]: And then they put it in a compost pile.

[SPEAKER_08]: What the hell is going on?

[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, Mike, they went to the restaurant.

[SPEAKER_08]: Start it for the beginning.

[SPEAKER_08]: I will take the time to do that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Watch this story and we'll go piece by piece.

[SPEAKER_08]: I see had somehow slipped on.

[SPEAKER_17]: Okay, so might be his wife's wedding rings.

[SPEAKER_17]: He never takes them off.

[SPEAKER_17]: But while washing her hands at a restaurant, Dean Van Iseldeck realized they had somehow slipped off.

[SPEAKER_13]: Like the restaurant, I'm like I can't even wait for the check.

[SPEAKER_17]: After a frantic search, the couple figured the rings must have slipped off into the compost.

[SPEAKER_06]: They never explain.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, after at his compost at his house, they have a compost thing at their house.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, but it was picked up and taken away.

[SPEAKER_09]: So that's what they deserve it.

[SPEAKER_08]: But you're supposed to keep compost if we're getting really into the weeds with this

[SPEAKER_09]: you know Mike and you know what if you use compost you won't have any weeds.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I mean compost is used for fertilizer.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah

[SPEAKER_09]: And I do like the fact that you wrap it up.

[SPEAKER_09]: He gets the left one.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's what you're a beautiful video.

[SPEAKER_08]: Josh Schrokes says, I would only think through that pile if the hand was still attached.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's how we end our day.

[SPEAKER_08]: I think that's awesome.

[SPEAKER_08]: We got to get out of here.

[SPEAKER_08]: We'll be back with a brand new episode tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen.

[SPEAKER_08]: I hope tomorrow to technically get through a show without losing connection.
