<v Speaker 1>Jared, Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Good news you guys.
<v Speaker 3>Update, Update, update, returned my skinny jeans yesterday. Yes, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>even the the young lady at the return desk, you know,
<v Speaker 3>gave me like a elevator eyes as she was ringing
<v Speaker 3>them back into the store. She kind of looked at
<v Speaker 3>me and went like she knew, she knew that I
<v Speaker 3>probably shouldn't have been buying those in the first place.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah you wish.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're gone.
<v Speaker 3>And you'll also be happy to know that I did
<v Speaker 3>not walk back over to the men's section and pick
<v Speaker 3>up eight larger size and bring another pair home.
<v Speaker 2>I just let them die. Okay, they're back.
<v Speaker 3>They're back out into the universal relaxed fit.
<v Speaker 4>It is.
<v Speaker 2>For this fall season.
<v Speaker 3>So anyway, that's done, and then real quick, we'll probably
<v Speaker 3>cover this a little bit more in the My High Height.
<v Speaker 3>But nobody won Powerball, and you know, right after the
<v Speaker 3>show yesterday, I was like, ah, screw it, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 3>wander around the office and see if anybody wants to
<v Speaker 3>chip in twenty bucks. You're a little pool going, Katie
<v Speaker 3>didn't our engineer Jason, a couple other people. I had
<v Speaker 3>two hundred dollars by the time I walked out of
<v Speaker 3>here yesterday for power Ball tickets, which was one hundred tickets.
<v Speaker 3>So I wandered into a gas station and picked those up.
<v Speaker 3>But the guy behind the counter was so nice because
<v Speaker 3>he was trying to figure it out because he hasn't
<v Speaker 3>really done that amount of tickets at one time.
<v Speaker 2>And I was like, oh, he's gonna screw some.
<v Speaker 3>So we had like three people over there in front
<v Speaker 3>of the machine and they finally got it figured out
<v Speaker 3>because you can buy him in bulk. And then as
<v Speaker 3>I was walking out, he's like, you know, have a
<v Speaker 3>good day whatever, And right before I got to the door,
<v Speaker 3>he goes.
<v Speaker 1>Please remember me when you win.
<v Speaker 2>It was most sad, pathetic little wine.
<v Speaker 1>That's so funny.
<v Speaker 4>Bet you know they lived for that, like they're selling
<v Speaker 4>all those lottery tickets or like if you actually find
<v Speaker 4>yourself on the other end of that jackpot, well.
<v Speaker 5>The company or the gas station or whatever, Yeah, they
<v Speaker 5>get it cut. They get they want if you're going
<v Speaker 5>and dropping two hundred bucks like please win.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think he would as the individual.
<v Speaker 5>The company would the go they would do something nice employees, right,
<v Speaker 5>I don't that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. So as I left after the please
<v Speaker 2>remember me, like, I was.
<v Speaker 3>Sitting in my car for a second and I was like,
<v Speaker 3>you know what, truly, if I win this and we
<v Speaker 3>split it up and at the time yesterday would have
<v Speaker 3>been sixty four mili each or whatever, because there was
<v Speaker 3>a ten of us that went in on this, I
<v Speaker 3>was like, I think I would wander back in and
<v Speaker 3>give this guy like fifty grand Oh totally, yeah, I
<v Speaker 3>think I would.
<v Speaker 2>I remember you whining at me.
<v Speaker 5>Well, it's like what you do for the tellers at
<v Speaker 5>any place you gamble at or something, if you give
<v Speaker 5>you know, if you win twenty thousand on blackjack, you
<v Speaker 5>tip them, and so I would do the same for
<v Speaker 5>the gas station attendant that you would.
<v Speaker 2>I think that would be one of those things where
<v Speaker 2>you pay it back totally.
<v Speaker 4>And I think collectively all ten of us who you
<v Speaker 4>know did the powerball thing with you, I think we
<v Speaker 4>all would have tipped him or at least given.
<v Speaker 1>A little bit back to that guy.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, yeah, Well, in major update, we did win
<v Speaker 3>money last night, and I.
<v Speaker 2>Will give you that amount during my highype. Okay, can
<v Speaker 2>we did hear it? We did win money last night.
<v Speaker 1>We are still here though so good.
<v Speaker 2>That you're missing out. What are you talking about?
<v Speaker 3>We won money least exactly, Thank you very much. Big
<v Speaker 3>winners this morning tickets.
<v Speaker 5>I don't want to brag, but won My investments gather
<v Speaker 5>on their own, so I was making money while I slept.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we won powerful now.
<v Speaker 3>I also woke up this morning to flip through Instagram
<v Speaker 3>and Facebook, and in true Katie fashion, she posted some
<v Speaker 3>pictures overnight, which you're very good about posting on social
<v Speaker 3>And also in true Katie fashion, it looks like you
<v Speaker 3>rubbed vasoline all over your camera lens before you took
<v Speaker 3>pictures and posted them.
<v Speaker 2>All really really bad.
<v Speaker 3>It doesn't look like that really foggy, really blurry pictures
<v Speaker 3>Billy Idol last night.
<v Speaker 4>No way, I'm looking at them right now. It's actually
<v Speaker 4>the light in that little rest was literally light behind us.
<v Speaker 4>That is just kind of shining. But the vantage point
<v Speaker 4>of getting that rock behind We were backstage red Rocks
<v Speaker 4>in a little room that had a rock in it,
<v Speaker 4>Like it was intense.
<v Speaker 3>First of all, I'm incredibly jealous because I've always wanted
<v Speaker 3>to be in that room.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's where the artists hang out.
<v Speaker 4>It was amazing, Like we got to go Billy Idol
<v Speaker 4>and Jon Jet last night at Red Rocks, and yeah,
<v Speaker 4>we actually got to sit down and chat with him,
<v Speaker 4>myself and Synegee, who side note I had no idea
<v Speaker 4>was a Billy Idyl super fan. I mean we're talking
<v Speaker 4>like her end over on our sister station. Lalani got
<v Speaker 4>to come with us, and both of them were just
<v Speaker 4>like beside.
<v Speaker 1>Themselves meeting Billy.
<v Speaker 4>I've never seen them like that, so that was one thing.
<v Speaker 4>But I just wanted to give a shout out because
<v Speaker 4>when we got there, we had to pick up our
<v Speaker 4>stuff from Will Call, and you know, Sinnage and I
<v Speaker 4>are sitting in the parking lot waiting for Lalani to
<v Speaker 4>join us, and we're at will getting our tickets and
<v Speaker 4>our passes to go backstage, and we're talking about it
<v Speaker 4>and they'd given us each two tickets and two passes,
<v Speaker 4>but there was only one of each of us, so
<v Speaker 4>we had some extra tickets and we were kind of
<v Speaker 4>discussing that at will Call and this guy walks up
<v Speaker 4>to us and he'say, hey, you guys got extra tickets,
<v Speaker 4>Like I'm looking for an extra ticket. They're selling these
<v Speaker 4>tickets for almost two hundred dollars for all the way
<v Speaker 4>up in the back, and I was like, oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 4>like we might actually have some tickets.
<v Speaker 1>And so I get to talk into this guy.
<v Speaker 4>Turns out he has been to forty five concerts this summer.
<v Speaker 4>It's kind of like his ame. He wants to get
<v Speaker 4>around and see all this live music. He's never been
<v Speaker 4>to Billy Idol and he was super excited to be there.
<v Speaker 4>So I you know, he's probably my age, maybe you know, younger,
<v Speaker 4>give a cake.
<v Speaker 2>Oh shut up.
<v Speaker 1>He was just like super nice. But I asked him.
<v Speaker 1>He honestly, he.
<v Speaker 4>Reminded me of our engineer Cole but in his forties
<v Speaker 4>like that.
<v Speaker 1>So if you could picture that.
<v Speaker 2>Right now in your mind, everybody picture our engineer Coal.
<v Speaker 2>So nicest dude ever. He had really nice what everybody
<v Speaker 2>think about. Everybody had that visual of our engineer.
<v Speaker 4>Color whoever you want, just visual like thirty you know,
<v Speaker 4>late thirties, early forties guy. But anyway, I told him,
<v Speaker 4>I was like, well, hey, do you listen to the
<v Speaker 4>radio station? And he was just like, looked right at
<v Speaker 4>my shirts. I was wearing a mixed one hundred shirt
<v Speaker 4>and he's like, yeah, I listened to this one here
<v Speaker 4>mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>That's my favorite. Of course.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I just was having fun with him because I
<v Speaker 4>was like, I can't sell you this ticket, because this
<v Speaker 4>guy was offering me lots of money for this Billy
<v Speaker 4>Idol ticket, and I was like, I went the radio station,
<v Speaker 4>I can't sell it to you, but gosh, I.
<v Speaker 1>Want to make your day.
<v Speaker 4>And so we ended up giving Lane a ticket to
<v Speaker 4>the show and these tickets.
<v Speaker 1>Ten rose up at Red Rocks almost center stage like
<v Speaker 1>so good. He thought we gave him like nosebleed tickets.
<v Speaker 4>So then after we interviewed Billy Idol, we went and
<v Speaker 4>sat in the crowd. Who's sitting there to hang out
<v Speaker 4>with us but our new friend Lane Engineer.
<v Speaker 1>And that was fun. It was super much.
<v Speaker 3>I loved that the highlight of your evening was not
<v Speaker 3>going backstage to interview a rock legend Billy Idol, but
<v Speaker 3>you know, finding some random dude that you gave tickets
<v Speaker 3>to you.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, because as a radio person, that's what we do,
<v Speaker 4>we give things to people.
<v Speaker 1>And it made me happy.
<v Speaker 2>Kill nice tell me about Billy Idol.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, he was great.
<v Speaker 4>So Billy Idol, like again, we get there and synergy,
<v Speaker 4>she just starts crying, like he comes into the room
<v Speaker 4>and synergy, it starts bawling.
<v Speaker 3>She told me that she had a poster of him
<v Speaker 3>up on her ceiling or something like that growing up,
<v Speaker 3>like like worshiped Billy Idle, And when she heard that
<v Speaker 3>he was coming to town and we had passes to
<v Speaker 3>interview him. I was in the office when she came
<v Speaker 3>in and Big Robinson there and she was like, please, please.
<v Speaker 1>Please, I'll do anything to go meet him.
<v Speaker 4>And I'm so glad I got to be a part
<v Speaker 4>of it. Yes again, both her and Mlani. I was like,
<v Speaker 4>oh my gosh, if I'm the one who has it
<v Speaker 4>together between the three of us, we're we have a problem.
<v Speaker 1>If I'm the adult right now. Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 4>But then it's funny because we do the interview and
<v Speaker 4>we'll get some of that up on our socials and
<v Speaker 4>everything a little bit later. But oh my gosh, super
<v Speaker 4>nice guy. One of the nicest rock stars I've ever interviewed.
<v Speaker 4>Just very looked right in your eyes when you talk
<v Speaker 4>to him, like he gave you all of the attention.
<v Speaker 4>But then when he gets out on stage again, we're
<v Speaker 4>ten rows up.
<v Speaker 1>We're seeing everything.
<v Speaker 4>This guy rocked it he's about to be seventy years old.
<v Speaker 1>Billy Idol is like that, and he got it.
<v Speaker 4>He took his shirt off and he had like, you know,
<v Speaker 4>the outlines of a six pack. And I was sitting
<v Speaker 4>there in the stage like, am I really about to,
<v Speaker 4>you know, bum rush the stage to jump on Billy
<v Speaker 4>Idol because it was like, I know, I don't know
<v Speaker 4>if it was a dry speller what, but man, Billy
<v Speaker 4>Idle got me going.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, that's sexy man. He was still hitting
<v Speaker 1>those notes.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, anybody who's familiar with any of his music
<v Speaker 4>knows that he has his distinct style to his voice
<v Speaker 4>and just all the little runs and stuff that he does,
<v Speaker 4>you know, the little noises he makes that are in
<v Speaker 4>his songs, he actually does that live and so it
<v Speaker 4>was just so intense to watch him.
<v Speaker 1>But he was jumping up and.
<v Speaker 4>Down off the speakers and running around the stage, and
<v Speaker 4>then his guitarist, Steve Stevens, his hair.
<v Speaker 1>Was so it was amazing. I'm glad you went so
<v Speaker 1>much fun. I am tired, like all right, but.
<v Speaker 2>It's rock star experience last night.
<v Speaker 1>I stayed there until probably nine thirty, and then I
<v Speaker 1>was like I got a kid out of school, I know,
<v Speaker 1>and then I had to drive all the way home.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't go to bed until like eleven, But it
<v Speaker 4>was just kind of like riding high on those rock
<v Speaker 4>star vibes.
<v Speaker 5>Right, It's hard to go to bed after a concert
<v Speaker 5>a year you're so hyped up. You're adrenaline still going,
<v Speaker 5>especially a Red Rocks one, like those are just specials.
<v Speaker 2>Did you ask him about wedding singer? What was it like?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we did.
<v Speaker 2>You can't give anything away.
<v Speaker 4>We did get to hear about the wedding singer. But
<v Speaker 4>and then also the new song with Avril Levine and.
<v Speaker 2>You know, like just yeah, we'll play that later. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>He had a lot of really really fun things to say,
<v Speaker 4>and I just want to give a shout out to myself.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, because I climbed those stairs like you wouldn't. No,
<v Speaker 1>you were. Everybody was huffing and puffing about me and
<v Speaker 1>all this is nothing.
<v Speaker 2>You weren't even pitting out or not.
<v Speaker 4>Walks are really doing me good because I was having
<v Speaker 4>no problem and everybody's like, oh my god, I've set
<v Speaker 4>these stairs and I'm like this is fine.
<v Speaker 2>Ain't nothing.
<v Speaker 3>The chicken wing in your back pocket running up like
<v Speaker 3>it was I could have been on stage with Billie Idol.
<v Speaker 4>I was so proud of myself because like that's what
<v Speaker 4>everybody talks about the stairs at Red Rocks, and it's
<v Speaker 4>been a while since I've been out there, so you know,
<v Speaker 4>but yeah, look at me for you quote, congratulations.
<v Speaker 2>To your knees.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you.
<v Speaker 5>About ourselves more, I know, cut ourselves on the back.
<v Speaker 5>I don't think we do that.
<v Speaker 3>And I did a great job interviewing last night. I
<v Speaker 3>did a great job for the station. I did a
<v Speaker 3>great job on the stairs, the stairs.
<v Speaker 2>I drove the.
<v Speaker 3>Speed limit when I drove home. I'm gonna do great
<v Speaker 3>on the show today. I just like a shout out
<v Speaker 3>to myself. Yeah, yeah, you well, I can't wait to
<v Speaker 3>see uh all the videos and I'm I would imagine
<v Speaker 3>they're gonna be as blurry as the pictures, but it's
<v Speaker 3>gonna be great when.
<v Speaker 2>You get those.
<v Speaker 1>Even bad. You're such a great face.
<v Speaker 2>You gotta clean the camera, Kadie, your butt face.
<v Speaker 1>No I did It's fine.
<v Speaker 2>You didn't do a good job.
