<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, Katie, and John.
<v Speaker 2>Our good friend Rose just texted in on the text
<v Speaker 2>line and she says, Hey, Jar, what did the doctor
<v Speaker 2>say about your finger? Yeah, I'll give you a quick
<v Speaker 2>update on the finger. So this happened like a week
<v Speaker 2>and a half ago. Out of nowhere. My pointer finger
<v Speaker 2>on the left hand just swelled up. It just got
<v Speaker 2>fat and really was hurting. Can't make a fist, really
<v Speaker 2>hard to bend it. It's it's really bad. At night,
<v Speaker 2>it was like waking me up like I had pains
<v Speaker 2>in my hand. So Nick Knak made a doctor's appointment
<v Speaker 2>for me, because I'm a man doctor, So she made
<v Speaker 2>the doctor's appointment for me a couple of days ago,
<v Speaker 2>and it was for like four in the afternoon. And
<v Speaker 2>four in the afternoon, my finger starts feeling better throughout
<v Speaker 2>the day, the swelling goes down.
<v Speaker 3>I can bend it.
<v Speaker 2>It just starts feeling better towards the end of the
<v Speaker 2>day and then it kind of starts all over again.
<v Speaker 2>But it was really feeling better. So I called the
<v Speaker 2>doctor and canceled.
<v Speaker 3>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Like, who's this guy coming in for this fingeringy? Right?
<v Speaker 3>He canceled your appoints.
<v Speaker 1>I canceled it, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, today today it's the size of a bratwarsh and
<v Speaker 2>it was really hurting last night. And the thing is is,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it gets red and hot, so I don't
<v Speaker 2>know there might be an infection in there.
<v Speaker 3>Whatever, It's just what, no big deal, just in a pendal.
<v Speaker 2>Hope they don't get in a fight, because I can't
<v Speaker 2>make a fish.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't know what to do about it.
<v Speaker 2>It came on out of nowhere, and I'm racking my
<v Speaker 2>brain as to did I put slam a weight down
<v Speaker 2>on it? Working out? Did I punch something when anger?
<v Speaker 1>You know? Which did?
<v Speaker 2>None of this happened just out of nowhere. This thing
<v Speaker 2>swells up and it starts hurting. The only thing I
<v Speaker 2>can think of, which is even more embarrassing than going
<v Speaker 2>into the doctor with a swollen finger, is my son
<v Speaker 2>got brand new basketball shoes and before he goes to play,
<v Speaker 2>he likes him tied really tight. So he's like, Dad,
<v Speaker 2>can you make sure my shoes are super tight so
<v Speaker 2>I get in there. Josh, you're familiar with the shoes,
<v Speaker 2>as we all are, but you know in sports, I
<v Speaker 2>looped this finger around those laces and it's really yanking
<v Speaker 2>each and every one of them up the you know,
<v Speaker 2>up his shoe and then tying him really tight, and
<v Speaker 2>it kind of it hurts the most on where you
<v Speaker 2>would hook the lace on your finger and pull.
<v Speaker 1>Huh, So do you like pull a tendon or something?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>If I hurt my finger tying my shuts son's shoes,
<v Speaker 2>I think that might be what's it is that I
<v Speaker 2>I jacked it up pulling shoelaces.
<v Speaker 1>I seriously wonder if you like pulled a tendon.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I did some because you can get an I
<v Speaker 4>think called like a hammer finger. Okay, and it's I
<v Speaker 4>don't can't touch, but that is hilarious. I hurt my
<v Speaker 4>finger touched.
<v Speaker 2>If you start squeezing at the top by the nail
<v Speaker 2>and kind of work your way down, it gets a
<v Speaker 2>little more tender around the fatty part where it meets
<v Speaker 2>your hand, and.
<v Speaker 1>That's where it's most sweat. That's where you're.
<v Speaker 2>Gonna hook the laces and pull them as tight as
<v Speaker 2>your kids.
<v Speaker 3>We could play basketball. No, I'm really not going into
<v Speaker 3>the doctor. How do you think you did this? I
<v Speaker 3>think tan shoes.
<v Speaker 5>Well, it's probably something also they can't do anything about.
<v Speaker 5>But that's get one of those fun little finger splints.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I went on Amazon and looked at the finger
<v Speaker 2>splints that you can like bend around it and.
<v Speaker 3>Keep it straight while you sleep. Yes, all night, I'm
<v Speaker 3>number one. I should getn't wear it to work like
<v Speaker 3>an idiot.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like you don't need it.
<v Speaker 3>I don't need it.
<v Speaker 2>It's not broken. I think that's more for when you
<v Speaker 2>break something.
<v Speaker 5>I think I think it's for keeping it in place
<v Speaker 5>so it can heal properly.
<v Speaker 1>Like that's what you want to do. I want to heal.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I just can't anymore.
<v Speaker 5>I feel like the more you mess with it, the
<v Speaker 5>more it's just gonna screw it all up in there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know guys, But anyway, Rose, who texts it in?
<v Speaker 2>There's your update. I didn't go to the doctor. I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna tough it out. And I think I heard it
<v Speaker 2>tying shoes. Oh gosh, it's embarrassing and awkward for me.
<v Speaker 5>To say, embarrassing for us to hear it.
<v Speaker 3>So there's your update on my finger.
<v Speaker 2>I'll post sage fingers.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's so fat.
<v Speaker 2>Speaking of body and health, we got this dude next door.
<v Speaker 2>What's his name, I'm Ding Tanner DT, Dan Tanner's sight DT.
<v Speaker 2>He's such a dork. He stopped Katie and I when
<v Speaker 2>we were walking out of the station yesterday and just
<v Speaker 2>started verbal vomiting about his uh health stuff that he's doing.
<v Speaker 1>Right.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, So the other of the day before we were
<v Speaker 5>actually chatting about it. So the weekend, so we were
<v Speaker 5>chatting about it on Friday, and he was telling me
<v Speaker 5>that he was on day three of a five day
<v Speaker 5>fast and I was like, you haven't eaten in three
<v Speaker 5>days and he was like, no, just water, coffee, and
<v Speaker 5>some electrolyte stuff. That's all that he was consuming. And
<v Speaker 5>he said he watched this video that said it is
<v Speaker 5>super beneficial for you to do a five day fast,
<v Speaker 5>and in fact, it like resets your whole body to
<v Speaker 5>where you're in way better shape than you were before.
<v Speaker 5>And it does a lot of things, like for your metabolism,
<v Speaker 5>which is something I've been struggling with recently. So it
<v Speaker 5>resets your metabolism and also your immune system if you
<v Speaker 5>can not eat for five days and really flush out
<v Speaker 5>your body's toxins. Now, again, we just want to point
<v Speaker 5>out that you should not do this without checking with
<v Speaker 5>your doctor. Right, That's what we should point out in
<v Speaker 5>the very We just don't want to tell you to
<v Speaker 5>not eat for five days because it's good for you.
<v Speaker 1>Can make sure five days I can't feel anything.
<v Speaker 5>Exactly, so just you know, keep in mind this is
<v Speaker 5>per person. But yeah, DT was three days in on
<v Speaker 5>Friday and was telling me about it, and I was
<v Speaker 5>just like, oh my gosh, this is fascinating to me.
<v Speaker 5>I have no idea how you don't eat for five
<v Speaker 5>days because that just.
<v Speaker 3>Sounds like it was awful to yesterday five.
<v Speaker 1>Yesterday was five.
<v Speaker 3>Does he start eating today? Now?
<v Speaker 1>He's four?
<v Speaker 5>Scumping it Now, He's like, I've made it this far, might.
<v Speaker 1>As well keep going.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, he said the ideal day is seven, so that's
<v Speaker 5>He's like, once I hit five and it was not
<v Speaker 5>as hard as I thought it was going to be.
<v Speaker 5>I just kept going because seven was the ideal numbers.
<v Speaker 5>So he's not gonna eat until Thursday now.
<v Speaker 4>But if you are getting electrolytes and you're having coffee
<v Speaker 4>and you are having tea and a little bit of
<v Speaker 4>sugar and stuff, that is okay. But you don't want
<v Speaker 4>to just not be If you want to just go
<v Speaker 4>water for seven days.
<v Speaker 1>That's horrible. Don't do that.
<v Speaker 4>If you get electrolytes, you can do that, because electrolytes
<v Speaker 4>are hugely important to you.
<v Speaker 1>You can do it. I wouldn't do gatorade.
<v Speaker 4>I would do sugar free, yeah, because if you're just
<v Speaker 4>hopping yourself up on sugar constantly, it's just seven days crash.
<v Speaker 1>That's not good.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, but there's there's ways to do it healthily. The healthway.
<v Speaker 4>Just make sure that you Yeah, just make sure that
<v Speaker 4>you really do your research. Don't just go seven days
<v Speaker 4>without eating food.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Well, that's why I would start hallucinating it.
<v Speaker 3>Well, and he says that's what I was asking. I
<v Speaker 3>was like, are you feeling trippy? Are you tasting colors?
<v Speaker 1>It seems like I've been high for four days?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Like I don't feel like he should be driving.
<v Speaker 5>No. He said that the first two days were kind
<v Speaker 5>of like that where you have like an out of
<v Speaker 5>body experience almost you feel a little spacey, not quite
<v Speaker 5>with it. But if you can get past those two days,
<v Speaker 5>it is smooth sailing.
<v Speaker 1>And that's kind of why. Because you're dying.
<v Speaker 2>It seems like when your body starts eating itself, it
<v Speaker 2>starts eating the fat cellstosis, yes.
<v Speaker 5>And so it's eating. Your body likes to eat your fat.
<v Speaker 1>I guess like it.
<v Speaker 3>Likes to consume himself if you will.
<v Speaker 5>And so he says, like you almost get like a
<v Speaker 5>euphoric feeling the last couple of days.
<v Speaker 3>That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he should be driving.
<v Speaker 5>Around here yesterday like, yeah, I love life.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, that's all you have to do is see three.
<v Speaker 3>I know I've been doing it wrong.
<v Speaker 5>But he'd he said like that when you if you're
<v Speaker 5>it's your first time fasting, right, if you've never done
<v Speaker 5>this before, you should try the inner minute fasting first.
<v Speaker 5>So he said that that's what they recommend, is you
<v Speaker 5>try the inter minute fasting before you.
<v Speaker 3>Go a full on fast.
<v Speaker 5>I feel like I kind of do the inter minute
<v Speaker 5>fasting already because like I wake up at four, I
<v Speaker 5>don't eat until two o'clock in the afternoon. And that's
<v Speaker 5>maybe it's just because that drink so much day and coffee,
<v Speaker 5>but I really I do not food. It is until
<v Speaker 5>two o'clock, and this is like my body is not
<v Speaker 5>hungry until then. So I feel like I have a
<v Speaker 5>good idea of what fasting would do. But my problem
<v Speaker 5>is it's like when I'm not supposed to eat so
<v Speaker 5>that after seven mark where they're like you should not,
<v Speaker 5>that's what I.
<v Speaker 3>Want to eat everything.
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, let's go to the buffet. So yeah, but
<v Speaker 5>this is just fascinating me because again, the fact that
<v Speaker 5>you can reset your body in so many productive, positive ways.
<v Speaker 1>I really want to try it.
<v Speaker 3>I just don't know if I can do it. You
<v Speaker 3>can do it, you can do it. You can do it. No,
<v Speaker 3>you could do it.
<v Speaker 2>You just have to have the willpower to do it
<v Speaker 2>and keep the fridge closed. Yeah, I mean if he's
<v Speaker 2>going on seven days, this guy's a yeah, he's a
<v Speaker 2>whack job if you know him, Like, he's mentally doing
<v Speaker 2>it so.
<v Speaker 5>Well, and I would just have to change a lot
<v Speaker 5>of habits.
<v Speaker 2>He's sewing keytoses right now. Yeah, he's all up in
<v Speaker 2>that key too.
<v Speaker 4>He's floating. He's actually floating. I saw him.
<v Speaker 5>Is like I go to bed watching food videos, so
<v Speaker 5>I probably okay.
<v Speaker 1>So why are you doing that.
<v Speaker 3>I couldn't do this because I'm like you, I like food. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So here's my life, total opposite of Dan Tanner's. So
<v Speaker 2>Nick Knack had her birthday on Sunday. There's chocolate cake
<v Speaker 2>down in the fridge in the freezer. Okay, so last
<v Speaker 2>night I turned off the camera. We have a camera
<v Speaker 2>in the basement, you know, just to keep an eye
<v Speaker 2>on the kids and stuff.
<v Speaker 3>I turned off the camera and snuck down.
<v Speaker 2>Stairs with a fork, and I opened the basement fridge
<v Speaker 2>and I ate the chocolate cake out of the container.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, you didn't injure your finger. You have a gout?
<v Speaker 1>What are you talking about.
<v Speaker 2>I like tiptoed down the stairs eating the cake out
<v Speaker 2>of the fridge in the basement, and then I tiptoed
<v Speaker 2>back upstairs and turned the camera back on.
<v Speaker 1>Nick Nactually, why is there a forty second gap?
<v Speaker 2>Don't worry about it, as I got chocolate in my teeth.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely not in ketosis right here. I'm in keketosis, thank
<v Speaker 2>you very much.
<v Speaker 1>Killing it. Yeah,
