<v Speaker 1>Jar you Katie and Josh Mix one hundred. What's up
<v Speaker 1>my putting pop pushers.
<v Speaker 2>There skimming do doo doo boo boo morning morning guys.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I made it back in. We're gonna be playing
<v Speaker 1>Katie Crush here in just a little bit for all
<v Speaker 1>of our early birds, so stick around for that. Had
<v Speaker 1>a pretty decent day yesterday. Uh. It was my anniversary
<v Speaker 1>with Sweet nick Knacks, so we were able to sneak
<v Speaker 1>away for about an hour yesterday afternoon and go sit
<v Speaker 1>at the bar at Tappando, which is one of my
<v Speaker 1>favorite little places. And uh, it was just us and
<v Speaker 1>like two other people at the bar at that time
<v Speaker 1>of day, which was perfect, and we had we split
<v Speaker 1>a caesar salad and then split Margherita pizza, uh, and
<v Speaker 1>just enjoyed each other's company so romantic. It was weird
<v Speaker 1>being at a place like that and not ordering a beer.
<v Speaker 1>But she was like, you know what, I gotta get
<v Speaker 1>back to work after this, and I was like, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to nap the rest of the day. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I had my delicious iced tea like a dork, like
<v Speaker 1>an eighty year old man. And yeah, we just just
<v Speaker 1>like I said, enjoyed each other's time. So it was
<v Speaker 1>a nice little day yesterday. Yeah, sat down, did a
<v Speaker 1>little more work on. I got a couple more of
<v Speaker 1>my silly little journals that I'm gonna be putting out
<v Speaker 1>this time around. My daughter suggested I do want about hamsters,
<v Speaker 1>so creating a little hamster journal.
<v Speaker 3>If youd I saw that post and if it's gonna
<v Speaker 3>look like that, that's horrible.
<v Speaker 1>It's huge and it's colorful, and I know the little
<v Speaker 1>girls will love it, So is it bad? I wanted
<v Speaker 1>to all the little girls and Josh millions and millions ago.
<v Speaker 1>I had to come in and hear the story about
<v Speaker 1>what happened to Katie last night, and I kinda I
<v Speaker 1>laughed at this, Yeah, but then it got me thinking, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>all I has to do with ice cream.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I was at an ice cream shop yesterday and
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'm standing in line, just hanging out, and
<v Speaker 2>the lady in front of me, Yeah, like we just
<v Speaker 2>started talking. Honestly, I liked her purse, and so I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh my gosh, where'd you get that? And
<v Speaker 2>so we were just cheering.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on, tell me about the purse.
<v Speaker 3>Oh is this a coach? Perse?
<v Speaker 2>And it was like a bunch of different colors and
<v Speaker 2>it had a pattern on the side that was like
<v Speaker 2>almost Harry Potter looking, and it just caught my eye.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, I love it. So we were talking.
<v Speaker 2>I know, right, that's exactly my plate. But we get
<v Speaker 2>up to the front and again we're still kind of
<v Speaker 2>just chatting. I don't even know this woman's name at
<v Speaker 2>this point, but the lady, you know, she she brings
<v Speaker 2>up our ice creams together. She asks what we want
<v Speaker 2>and then she brings it up and I'd like, look
<v Speaker 2>at the lady and I was like, well, we're not together.
<v Speaker 3>And the lady said, well, I can pay for your
<v Speaker 3>ice cream. It's fine, and I was like, like, you
<v Speaker 3>don't have to do that. You know, he's very nice,
<v Speaker 3>very sweet of her.
<v Speaker 2>I found out her name was Laurel, So what Laurel.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, like I'm sitting there and I'm so just
<v Speaker 2>like caught in the moment, right like gosh, just me
<v Speaker 2>striking up a conversation with this lady, Like she pays her,
<v Speaker 2>Like what a nice thing to happen. And I'm so
<v Speaker 2>like caught in my feelings that I forget it's my
<v Speaker 2>job to pay it forward, right, Like I did pay
<v Speaker 2>for the people behind me, and it made me feel bad.
<v Speaker 2>Like I walked out of the store and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>oh crap, I forgot my job in that whole situation. No,
<v Speaker 2>you to write that lady paid for my ice cream,
<v Speaker 2>and I felt like that is the way that works, right,
<v Speaker 2>and so she pays for you.
<v Speaker 1>You have to pay for the people behind not at all,
<v Speaker 1>not in that situation. That is just a nice in
<v Speaker 1>the moment situation, you met a new friend, she's obviously
<v Speaker 1>got some cash because she's got an expensive purse, and uh, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, you just accept it. You move on with your life.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have to then turn around and pay for,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the people behind it. You're not that maybe
<v Speaker 1>have like a forty dollars bill.
<v Speaker 2>No, that's the thing that I almost like called the
<v Speaker 2>ice cream shop as I walked out to my car,
<v Speaker 2>just to be like can I just pay for the
<v Speaker 2>next order?
<v Speaker 3>I feel really bad, but I know, like how much
<v Speaker 3>was your ice cream? Would you get? I just got
<v Speaker 3>two scoops?
<v Speaker 1>So it was the way you pay it forward, like
<v Speaker 1>a random event that happens next time, you know, like
<v Speaker 1>if you're chatting up with someone, then you pay for somebody,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so what if you turn around in the
<v Speaker 1>order behind you was like twenty five twenty six bucks.
<v Speaker 3>And that's usually the how you get stuck with it.
<v Speaker 2>Like, honestly, those pay it forward things, they don't ever
<v Speaker 2>work out in your favor, at least in my spirit.
<v Speaker 1>Now, this doesn't word because it was the uh, the
<v Speaker 1>ice cream person's fault. They rang it up together, and
<v Speaker 1>it was just kind of on the spot and your
<v Speaker 1>new friend said, oh, I just got you.
<v Speaker 3>Don't worry about it. This wasn't you know.
<v Speaker 1>You guys got up to the line and she said, hey,
<v Speaker 1>I've got my friend. She didn't initiate it. It was
<v Speaker 1>just an honest mistake. Yeah, kind of put this lady
<v Speaker 1>on the spot. And then it, you know, she did
<v Speaker 1>her good deed for the day.
<v Speaker 2>And I think that's what it was, is the lady
<v Speaker 2>once you know, they rang us up, and then I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh, no, we're not together. She felt bad,
<v Speaker 2>right like, just like I can pay for I'm fine,
<v Speaker 2>I can pay for hers, you know, so she almost
<v Speaker 2>felt obligated to pay for mine, I felt and that's
<v Speaker 2>why I was under the assumption that I needed to
<v Speaker 2>now pay it forward because this good thing happened to me,
<v Speaker 2>and I need to make something good happen for the
<v Speaker 2>people behind me.
<v Speaker 1>Now, you could have made something good happen in that moment.
<v Speaker 1>Why didn't you step up and say, hey, no, I've
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed talking to you. Thanks for talking to me about
<v Speaker 1>your beautiful purse. I've got both of us.
<v Speaker 3>Ye didn't. Why didn't you do that? I did because
<v Speaker 3>Katie was paying for me, because you're a cheese. I
<v Speaker 3>was so cold, what no.
<v Speaker 2>I was so caught up in the moment and the
<v Speaker 2>fact that this woman just paid for my ice cream.
<v Speaker 3>And again, I guess for me.
<v Speaker 2>I was so hung up on the fact that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>a nice conversation, just just talking to people, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, smiling at a stranger. You never know how it's
<v Speaker 3>going to change your day. I deserve this. I deserve
<v Speaker 3>the free ice cream isle in back. You got Rocky
<v Speaker 3>Road in your teeth.
<v Speaker 1>I know.
<v Speaker 3>That's funny Rocky Road, but I know.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so it just like I still, I woke up
<v Speaker 4>today and thought about this situation where I was like,
<v Speaker 4>I should have done a nice thing for them, Well,
<v Speaker 4>I should could have.
<v Speaker 1>The only way to redeem this is to leave the
<v Speaker 1>show right now. Head over to Chick fil A and
<v Speaker 1>bring us back some breakfast. Yes, you got about three
<v Speaker 1>minutes and twenty seconds to do that.
<v Speaker 3>You gotta get on it.
<v Speaker 1>Run right run, run right here.
