<v Speaker 1>Jarre you Kadian Josh.
<v Speaker 2>One hundred, Well, I got sucked into this crazy video
<v Speaker 2>that was making the rounds yesterday of a UFO supposedly
<v Speaker 2>taking a direct hit from a missile and surviving.
<v Speaker 3>It.
<v Speaker 4>Isn't that crazy?
<v Speaker 2>Papping off the coast of Yemen October thirtieth of last year.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody has seen this publicly until it was played by
<v Speaker 2>a whistleblower at some sort of hearing yesterday morning. It
<v Speaker 2>looks like this little sphere, this little bubble that we've
<v Speaker 2>seen many videos like this where they're coming in and
<v Speaker 2>out of the ocean, and this one's zipping along.
<v Speaker 5>The US fired a hell fire missile at it and.
<v Speaker 2>It kind of went think and bounced off of it
<v Speaker 2>didn't explode, and this thing just kept on zipping by.
<v Speaker 5>So now a bunch of people are like, well.
<v Speaker 2>The aliens are here and they're living in the ocean,
<v Speaker 2>which I kind of think is true.
<v Speaker 5>I really do.
<v Speaker 2>The more and more I see these weird little ball
<v Speaker 2>objects zipping around, that's like we got something.
<v Speaker 6>How do you not look at an octopus and go
<v Speaker 6>that's not an alien? Aliens have been around the United
<v Speaker 6>or the world for forever.
<v Speaker 4>Man, Come on.
<v Speaker 5>The octopus is not zipping around the sky. That might
<v Speaker 5>be a spaceship. You getting hit by missiles.
<v Speaker 1>Hard thing about that is you don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>real or not. Like AI could you know, make that easy.
<v Speaker 1>So it's just hard to believe what we see with
<v Speaker 1>our eyes.
<v Speaker 7>Anymore, I know.
<v Speaker 5>But I think they're living in the ocean, you think, so,
<v Speaker 5>I really do.
<v Speaker 2>And how about this thing that's supposed to get here
<v Speaker 2>in November. That's like seven miles long, and they've been
<v Speaker 2>tracking it out in.
<v Speaker 4>Space for a long time.
<v Speaker 2>Right, It's got reflective metal paneling and stuff on it,
<v Speaker 2>they think, and.
<v Speaker 6>It's literally chicken little they have those little reflective panels.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's a big alien spaceship. It's supposed to
<v Speaker 2>be here in November to take us all out.
<v Speaker 4>So it'll be nice Aliens, we'll see it.
<v Speaker 5>It'll be fine. I'm kind of ready right Not.
<v Speaker 7>Before Christmas, Wait till after the holidays.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, he was right around my birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Let me have my birthday first and then then blow
<v Speaker 2>us up the other big stuff I was following yesterday,
<v Speaker 2>the key takeaways from the Apple event. We got an
<v Speaker 2>iPhone seventeen coming out now, Ah, they all look the same.
<v Speaker 2>They got a new chip in there. Cameras are supposed
<v Speaker 2>to be a little bit better. Base storage is two
<v Speaker 2>hundred and fifty six gigabytes, now, same colors.
<v Speaker 5>It doesn't.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing really blew my skirt up, except this iPhone Air.
<v Speaker 2>It's supposed to be the thinnest iPhone ever, five point
<v Speaker 2>six millimeters.
<v Speaker 4>It looks like you could snap it like a toothpick.
<v Speaker 7>I put it in my back pocket.
<v Speaker 1>What if I sit on that, you'll be it.
<v Speaker 5>You definitely will bend it.
<v Speaker 7>They should not get that.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, it's made with aerospace great titanium and ceramic shield materials.
<v Speaker 2>I was watching some influencer who had his hands on one.
<v Speaker 2>He's like, this one's not mine. But once I get
<v Speaker 2>a couple of these back to my studio, he's like,
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna do some bin tests on it and see
<v Speaker 2>what it can handle.
<v Speaker 5>What else?
<v Speaker 2>You had some new air pods that came out with
<v Speaker 2>improved noise cancelation. They can do live translation, which is
<v Speaker 2>pretty neat. That's kind of fun to, you know, sit
<v Speaker 2>at a restaurant put those.
<v Speaker 4>See what everybody said.
<v Speaker 5>I wasn't gonna say it, but Josh did.
<v Speaker 2>And then they can monitor your heart rate in it,
<v Speaker 2>which is neat. So phones updates to the headphones. The
<v Speaker 2>watch got some updates, and the price has got some updates.
<v Speaker 7>To do we have any new emojis? That's what I
<v Speaker 7>always liked, the new emojis.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't see anything about that. Actually, I don't think. Well,
<v Speaker 4>they got new ones.
<v Speaker 1>Like last write another letter, there was a story about
<v Speaker 1>where is it at?
<v Speaker 2>I had this. I was gonna talk about it later,
<v Speaker 2>but since you brought it up. The story says Americans
<v Speaker 2>used a record one one hundred and thirty checked out
<v Speaker 2>one hundred and thirty two trillion megabytes of mobile data
<v Speaker 2>last year.
<v Speaker 5>That is a massive number.
<v Speaker 2>And I made a note on here it said that's
<v Speaker 2>probably mostly Katie's fault with all the emojis that she
<v Speaker 2>puts in.
<v Speaker 7>Everything an emoji user.
<v Speaker 5>She over emojis I do.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes I just send an emoji. Sometimes I'm just like yeah,
<v Speaker 1>smiley face. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So I've never seen anything like corn. You're like a
<v Speaker 5>twelve year old girl.
<v Speaker 7>I think it's fun, you know, I make myself smile.
<v Speaker 5>Well, the rest of us are like, good god, there's
<v Speaker 5>forty emojis.
<v Speaker 4>In Does that mean didn't even read what.
<v Speaker 7>She says, Christmas Tree.
<v Speaker 4>All right.
<v Speaker 2>The big local sports news, of course, is this Broncos stadium.
<v Speaker 5>Josh, you got any beats on that.
<v Speaker 6>Dude, Yes, twenty thirty one, your Denver Broncos are getting
<v Speaker 6>a brand new stadium. The Walton Penner Group talked about
<v Speaker 6>it yesterday, how they are going to fund the entire
<v Speaker 6>thing so Americans will not be paying any more new taxes,
<v Speaker 6>which is awesome. There have been seven billion dollars worth
<v Speaker 6>of new stadiums built in the last couple of years
<v Speaker 6>around the NFL, and with that it's been I think
<v Speaker 6>around seven hundred and sixteen million dollars of people's taxes
<v Speaker 6>and for the Broncos fans in Denver that will not happen,
<v Speaker 6>So that's really really cool. I like this location is
<v Speaker 6>rail yard funding themselves, Burnham Yards. Burnham Yards is a
<v Speaker 6>very George Burnham. Yes, it's a very historic area of Denver,
<v Speaker 6>especially back when most of travel was by railroad, by train,
<v Speaker 6>it was by Chuchu trains. So that's where they have
<v Speaker 6>bought that land over the last couple of months.
<v Speaker 5>About a mile away from the far not far, it's
<v Speaker 5>really not that far.
<v Speaker 6>Actually, if you over the next couple of years, you
<v Speaker 6>will be seeing the new stadium be built while you're
<v Speaker 6>at the old stadium. In some areas, if you're in
<v Speaker 6>this higher section, you'll be able to see they're already.
<v Speaker 2>Talking about how they're going to rip the old one
<v Speaker 2>down to make it you know, retail and the apartments
<v Speaker 2>and all sorts of.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it'll be heavily used for Denver.
<v Speaker 1>I want a piece of it, like how everyone got
<v Speaker 1>a piece of the old Miles a seat or something.
<v Speaker 7>I want some.
<v Speaker 4>Just go take a seat.
<v Speaker 5>I need to. I know people that have seats. I
<v Speaker 5>know people that got some from the rast stadium.
<v Speaker 6>Well, great one. Yeah, Greg Peter and carry Walton. They
<v Speaker 6>talked about it, and let's take a listen to what
<v Speaker 6>they had to say.
<v Speaker 4>Here there you go.
<v Speaker 3>It's our goal to have world class facilities for this
<v Speaker 3>team and for our fans obviously with rich tradition and
<v Speaker 3>history at Mile High, and find something that the fans
<v Speaker 3>would love as a site that had proximity to that
<v Speaker 3>and Denver.
<v Speaker 4>We couldn't be.
<v Speaker 3>More excited about. Burnham Yard is the preferred site to
<v Speaker 3>build a new stadium and an incredible year round destination.
<v Speaker 8>One of our goals is to be a good partner
<v Speaker 8>across the community. We really have tried to do that
<v Speaker 8>since we arrived three years ago, aspiring to be the
<v Speaker 8>best team to play for, to work for, and to
<v Speaker 8>cheer for. We want to create an amazing venue for
<v Speaker 8>our fans as well as for our players.
<v Speaker 3>The first time we stepped on the site, there was
<v Speaker 3>a real appeal going back to the history of Burnham
<v Speaker 3>Yard and the rail which is an important part of
<v Speaker 3>Colorado history.
<v Speaker 8>It's not something that we'll just have a large parking
<v Speaker 8>lot all around it, but really creating someplace that's special
<v Speaker 8>that people leave and talk about and say, oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 8>when you come to Denver, you've got to be here
<v Speaker 8>at Burnham Yard.
<v Speaker 5>Oh my gosh.
<v Speaker 2>I like the renderings they had of this. All the
<v Speaker 2>stores around it were like Gucci and Louis.
<v Speaker 4>And Bentley.
<v Speaker 2>I like the sliding top. You know they can enclose it,
<v Speaker 2>so yes, So they're going to have a track on
<v Speaker 2>this whole contender to hope.
<v Speaker 6>They they want a super Bowl here, That's that's the
<v Speaker 6>whole thing, and you're not going to get one unless
<v Speaker 6>because again February and Colorado is usually really cold, and
<v Speaker 6>they want the best of the best on the besteverage
<v Speaker 6>degrees so well.
<v Speaker 1>And so much more than just football. We're talking Final four, WrestleMania. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot big events will come.
<v Speaker 2>Here now, yeareause Final four is huge?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so you can you can do this.
<v Speaker 6>There's there's so many things that will be coming to
<v Speaker 6>Denver and really make Denver as not just a football hub,
<v Speaker 6>but a sports hub in and of itself. And people say,
<v Speaker 6>you know in Power Field slash in Vesco Field back
<v Speaker 6>when it first was created, it's not that old. It's
<v Speaker 6>only twenty four years old. It's actually still twenty four
<v Speaker 6>years old to day. Their inaugural game was September tenth,
<v Speaker 6>two thousand and one, when Broncos took on the New
<v Speaker 6>York Football Giants for Monday Night Football. Yeah, back in
<v Speaker 6>two thousand and one, which is crazy. It's not that old.
<v Speaker 6>But if you want to have a Super Bowl here,
<v Speaker 6>you got to have a roof. And I am so
<v Speaker 6>excited for this. Many Broncos players tweeted out how excited
<v Speaker 6>they were, especially the younger ones. Bon Nicks spoke about
<v Speaker 6>his excitement he should be the quarterback of the future.
<v Speaker 6>I can't wait to see what this looks like, because
<v Speaker 6>you see the new like Allegiance Stadium in Las Vegas,
<v Speaker 6>in the Kronkey Stadium out with the La rams Sofi Stadium,
<v Speaker 6>those are top notch, best of the best, So I
<v Speaker 6>cannot wait to see what the richest owners in the
<v Speaker 6>NFL do.
<v Speaker 5>It'll be nice.
<v Speaker 2>They said they're going to keep that roof open pretty
<v Speaker 2>much all the Broncos games though, because it's an advantage
<v Speaker 2>the only tier team, because.
<v Speaker 5>The altitude and weather. They're like, we're going to keep
<v Speaker 5>it open.
<v Speaker 6>The only time I could truly ever see them closing
<v Speaker 6>it is like playoff games and Super Bowl.
<v Speaker 4>That's it. So I'm excited for.
<v Speaker 1>That, and honestly, I love that it's coming as early
<v Speaker 1>as twenty thirty one. I thought this would take a
<v Speaker 1>lot longer to get all up and running and actually
<v Speaker 1>using this stadium. So the fact that they put out
<v Speaker 1>that date of twenty thirty one, I'm like.
<v Speaker 4>Wait a minute, still six years away.
<v Speaker 5>You'll be deep in your sixties case.
<v Speaker 7>But still, Jeremy won't.
<v Speaker 5>I'm just like sixty two years old.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that it would be you know, the twenty
<v Speaker 1>thirty five, twenty forty thing.
<v Speaker 7>I didn't think that they could you know, make it
<v Speaker 7>so quick.
<v Speaker 1>That and the fact that they don't ask for any
<v Speaker 1>taxpayer money that is unheard of this.
<v Speaker 4>See how much tickets and the prices.
<v Speaker 2>I want to see what they're going to do with
<v Speaker 2>the horse that's up on the scoreboard anyone else they're
<v Speaker 2>going to move him, I know, I know.
<v Speaker 5>I want to see where they put him. Probably on
<v Speaker 5>top of the skodboard in the dome, the same spot.
<v Speaker 5>I'm hoping they're gonna.
<v Speaker 4>Put him at the fifty yards better.
<v Speaker 1>I hope they put him as the conductor in a
<v Speaker 1>train that goes around the stadium.
<v Speaker 7>You have to pay homage to the railroad life.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta put some have some kind of train something
<v Speaker 1>so you can have that horse in a little train
<v Speaker 1>as the conductor.
<v Speaker 2>To put a little like train tracks down into the
<v Speaker 2>stands and it just delivers your food like a little
<v Speaker 2>I think that's what they.
<v Speaker 4>Need to do.
<v Speaker 6>If a little conductor brings me my nachos in a
<v Speaker 6>train or I'd be so happy.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, I like it. You should.
<v Speaker 5>You should tell them, go tell Greg Penner right, I'm
<v Speaker 5>gonna get on the board. Yeah, it should. What we
<v Speaker 5>need is trains delivering snacks as well.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Katie, Uh, you got time for a couple of local.
<v Speaker 1>Sure, Well, we just want to get the word out
<v Speaker 1>on the alerts on our phones today, right. I've seen
<v Speaker 1>the story in the news all week, and at eleven
<v Speaker 1>o'clock this morning to test all the emergency stuff, they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna be putting out alerts on our phone for the
<v Speaker 1>wireless emergency alert system as well as the reverse emergency
<v Speaker 1>notification system. So they have to do this once a
<v Speaker 1>year to make sure stuff's in proper working order. So
<v Speaker 1>today at eleven you should be getting those alerts.
<v Speaker 7>And then two.
<v Speaker 1>Colorado restaurants made the New York Times Best Restaurant List.
<v Speaker 7>Guys, this isn't a really big deal.
<v Speaker 1>New York Times one of the biggest publications in the country,
<v Speaker 1>and mes Calaria Alma in Denver is one of the
<v Speaker 1>restaurants that got a nod.
<v Speaker 7>But the other one. I have been raving about.
<v Speaker 1>This place for as long as I can remember. Bin
<v Speaker 1>seven h seven Food Bar in Grain Junction. I've told
<v Speaker 1>you guys about this spot. I had the best burger
<v Speaker 1>of my whole life there. The bin Berger is phenomenal.
<v Speaker 1>If you're ever over on the Western Slope, you have
<v Speaker 1>to go seven oh seven Food Bar.
<v Speaker 7>I believe.
<v Speaker 1>Well, here's the thing is over I mean, Colorado in general,
<v Speaker 1>we are known for having great produce.
<v Speaker 7>We have a lot of ranches.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of farm community here, so the beef,
<v Speaker 1>the chicken, all that stuff could come. And if you
<v Speaker 1>can localize and get those sources that are bringing it
<v Speaker 1>right to your restaurant, that's what been seven oh seven
<v Speaker 1>Food Bar does. They team up with a lot of
<v Speaker 1>local ranchers and local farmers and they get all that
<v Speaker 1>produce brought in fresh and it makes such a big difference.
<v Speaker 1>But also we're talking world class chefs up in there,
<v Speaker 1>so they know what they're doing. I mean I had
<v Speaker 1>some fried chicken there once, and this was during COVID,
<v Speaker 1>so this was like remember when they had to package
<v Speaker 1>everything and you had to come pick it up and
<v Speaker 1>take it home.
<v Speaker 7>It was such a different way to live.
<v Speaker 1>But the food suffered in that time in my opinion,
<v Speaker 1>and theirs did not. They were still knocking it out
<v Speaker 1>of the park even with all the restrictions and everything.
<v Speaker 1>And this is some of the best fried chicken. They
<v Speaker 1>coated it in a blueberry crumb, and who would have
<v Speaker 1>thought chicken and blueberry would go together.
<v Speaker 5>But I still don't think it does.
<v Speaker 7>No, I'm telling you, Josh, it does.
<v Speaker 1>But that burger, I'm the best burger I've ever had,
<v Speaker 1>so shout out to.
<v Speaker 5>Be seven podcar Very Crumb.
<v Speaker 7>It probably is. It probably is.
<v Speaker 1>But and then locally again mes Color Collaria Almah in Denver,
<v Speaker 1>Snee shot out to both of them because it's a
<v Speaker 1>big deal to make it into the best restaurant.
<v Speaker 5>It's a huge deal in the New York Times.
<v Speaker 7>So that's off to y'all.
<v Speaker 5>There, you got anything else, you can give me one more?
<v Speaker 7>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>A man in Boulder was scratched on the back by
<v Speaker 1>a bear and he's lucky.
<v Speaker 5>That's all that happened to.
<v Speaker 7>I know, Well, he was trying to run.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently he was taking his dogs on walk at like
<v Speaker 1>eleven o'clock at night, and he came across a sow
<v Speaker 1>and her cubs and he tried to run away from
<v Speaker 1>the bear, but he tripped over his dog's lee leash
<v Speaker 1>and he fell.
<v Speaker 7>And then he laid there, and then the bear scratched
<v Speaker 7>his back and ran away. I know that's all the story,
<v Speaker 7>and he's okay. Even the police officer was like.
<v Speaker 1>Well, they're superficial cuts, like he's fine.
<v Speaker 4>Mother bear was called a south that's it.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, I thought that was a cow.
<v Speaker 7>No, the mother bears are called Souths.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so they but that's the thing is they want
<v Speaker 1>to get the word out becuse they weren't able to
<v Speaker 1>find that bear, and anytime they come into human contact
<v Speaker 1>there's proto call and whatnot. So they just wanted people
<v Speaker 1>to know that there's a Bear Scratch Act.
<v Speaker 2>We got a scratcher over here the ground.
<v Speaker 5>So there you go, there you go.
<v Speaker 4>Thank you, kitty, You're welcome.
