<v Speaker 1>Ja, Katie and Josh.
<v Speaker 2>Before we get into PMI, there's a couple of things
<v Speaker 2>I forgot to tell you guys. One, I tried an
<v Speaker 2>awesome new dip. It's called Tom Tom I think is
<v Speaker 2>how you pronounce it tom And I posted a picture
<v Speaker 2>of it last night. It's straight purade, garlic and lemon juice.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that's what I smell.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I ate it last night with a loaf of French bread.
<v Speaker 4>Like the loaf. It was so good. I couldn't stop.
<v Speaker 1>One of those dips.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I have never had this before, and I've
<v Speaker 2>been seeing a lot of TikTok videos with this stuff.
<v Speaker 2>I guess the hack is is that you go into
<v Speaker 2>Costco and get the chicken bake and then you dip
<v Speaker 2>the chicken bake into this and then you give it
<v Speaker 2>hell which I want to try it. I want to
<v Speaker 2>try it because I was just dipping French bread in
<v Speaker 2>it last night and then I walked over to Knickknack.
<v Speaker 4>She's like, oh good God.
<v Speaker 3>Our breath straight guard. I mean, it's enough to get
<v Speaker 3>rid of Van and your friends.
<v Speaker 2>I did what any normal husband would do. I grabbed
<v Speaker 2>her and held her on the ground and tongue kissed.
<v Speaker 1>Her like this garlic.
<v Speaker 4>Well, the children were screaming in shocks. Yeah I did too.
<v Speaker 2>I grabbed her and I held her down and I
<v Speaker 2>bought my tongue in her mouth.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my gosh, you like that garlic.
<v Speaker 2>This is what keeps marriages strong, you guys, This is
<v Speaker 2>what works.
<v Speaker 4>It was.
<v Speaker 2>I apologized to my children for having to witness that
<v Speaker 2>that horror in the kitchen last night.
<v Speaker 4>But anyway, I'll bring you a spoonful in, Katie. I
<v Speaker 4>know you like food.
<v Speaker 2>I'll bring it to a spoonful in tomorrow morning and
<v Speaker 2>I'll just shove it in your mouth and maybe will
<v Speaker 2>tongue kiss.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. We'll see how the morning goes.
<v Speaker 1>You never know.
<v Speaker 2>The second thing that went on, uh this weekend is uh,
<v Speaker 2>you know I had mentioned that last week.
<v Speaker 4>Was a rough week for a lot of people.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, uh, you know, thoughts and prayers and tears. It
<v Speaker 2>was heavy, heavy hearts and that pit in your stomach.
<v Speaker 2>It was just a heavy week last week. So it
<v Speaker 2>had been a minute. It was like, we got to
<v Speaker 2>get back to church. So we went to church on
<v Speaker 2>Sunday morning, and as you would expect, they had some great.
<v Speaker 4>Music there in the beginning, and some.
<v Speaker 2>Very powerful words at the beginning, including like a moment
<v Speaker 2>of silence, just to close your eyes and pray and
<v Speaker 2>just you know, be one with God in that moment.
<v Speaker 2>And so the entire place is quiet. We're all standing
<v Speaker 2>there and they just got a little like you know,
<v Speaker 2>in the background. Both of us started laughing because about
<v Speaker 2>four rows up during the moment of silence.
<v Speaker 4>All you hear is mama, mama, mama, mam.
<v Speaker 2>He was there with me and we both were just
<v Speaker 2>going He was trying to be like this, you know,
<v Speaker 2>powerful deep moment, and Nicole she goes, baby, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>him all times crazy to be doing that. So totally
<v Speaker 2>ruined the moment, but we totally especially when she mouthed.
<v Speaker 1>Me, I'm glad to hear she's going to church.
<v Speaker 4>Though she thinks you're there, Katie, But this is so good.
<v Speaker 4>It was like, it's hilarious. Made me happy, It made
<v Speaker 4>me very happy. All Right, it's time for p m I.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna send you on your way with a positive,
<v Speaker 2>a minus and something interesting.
<v Speaker 4>Who got to pee?
<v Speaker 1>Yes, this actually is really neat.
<v Speaker 3>It's a new way of dating and people are really
<v Speaker 3>really digging it's called Pitch a Friend and Pitch Please.
<v Speaker 3>I know it is really catching on. So it's been
<v Speaker 3>in Denver for about a year. It started in Philadelphia,
<v Speaker 3>I believe. But what it is essentially is it is
<v Speaker 3>a trending event where friends tell the crowd why they
<v Speaker 3>should date their friends. So they get up there in
<v Speaker 3>front of a whole crowd of people with a PowerPoint
<v Speaker 3>presentation and try to convince the people in the crowd
<v Speaker 3>why their friend's a good catch based on their best,
<v Speaker 3>worst and funniest qualities, with anything from like being a
<v Speaker 3>proud dog dad to an avid hiker.
<v Speaker 1>Right, So you put all of the attributes.
<v Speaker 3>Of your friend up on the screen and then people
<v Speaker 3>vote on whether or not they want to get to
<v Speaker 3>know that person better. And I guess it's a really
<v Speaker 3>neat way to get out and continue with the dating
<v Speaker 3>trends because I mean, anyone.
<v Speaker 1>Who is single, Josh, you can attest to this.
<v Speaker 3>A lot of the action comes from the apps, right,
<v Speaker 3>They come from this artificial sense of meeting people, and
<v Speaker 3>it's just like it really gets to you after a while.
<v Speaker 3>So the fact that this is like in your face
<v Speaker 3>in front of people, you're relying on your friend first
<v Speaker 3>of all, to explain you to scary, but I mean
<v Speaker 3>who the friend is really?
<v Speaker 4>But I guess I'm sure you before the event. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>so you know what they're gonna say.
<v Speaker 3>And it's funny because I didn't know if I'd be
<v Speaker 3>one hundred percent into this until I remember. Do you
<v Speaker 3>remember when you wrote a little write up for my
<v Speaker 3>dating and I loved that so much that you thought
<v Speaker 3>that of me. I would never put those things into
<v Speaker 3>my dating I do. I have it on my dating
<v Speaker 3>profile still, so I don't should I honestly, like, I
<v Speaker 3>don't think that I could have come up with that
<v Speaker 3>way to. I mean, it might take me to find
<v Speaker 3>it to find me. Maybe I can find it on
<v Speaker 3>the break and then we'll talk about it, but no,
<v Speaker 3>And so I just like it made me think of that,
<v Speaker 3>how like that was your view of me? Like I
<v Speaker 3>think when you're talking about yourself, when you're making these
<v Speaker 3>online aiding profiles yourself, there's almost.
<v Speaker 1>Like you hold back because you don't want.
<v Speaker 3>To come off too overconfident, too cocky, too you know,
<v Speaker 3>like it's not a good look for people. So when
<v Speaker 3>somebody else is saying these things about you, it's almost
<v Speaker 3>like the audience believes it more because it's the outside
<v Speaker 3>perspective and this isn't.
<v Speaker 1>Limited to just dating.
<v Speaker 5>I like that.
<v Speaker 3>There's a few other ways that you can use this
<v Speaker 3>for pet adoption pitches, mini speed dating, and also mingling activities.
<v Speaker 3>If you're just looking for friends, this is a good
<v Speaker 3>way to get out there and meet new people as well.
<v Speaker 1>So this latest one, this is why it's so neat.
<v Speaker 1>They did it in McGregor Square on Friday.
<v Speaker 3>And so they had like fifteen different pitches and a
<v Speaker 3>huge audience of people watching it.
<v Speaker 4>So what happens after the pitch? Do you get to like,
<v Speaker 4>I think that's too bad with somebody?
<v Speaker 1>After that? I believe the connect with like it's all
<v Speaker 1>about connecting.
<v Speaker 3>Friday, Okay, So yeah, if you are interested in people.
<v Speaker 4>No, I don't want to say what they said about event.
<v Speaker 1>Oh okay. I had somebody message me and tell me
<v Speaker 1>it was great and I should try it out. It's
<v Speaker 1>good all mine.
<v Speaker 3>You should adventures and how they're working out. They're like,
<v Speaker 3>you should try this just to see if it's up
<v Speaker 3>your alley. But I just thought it's a neat new.
<v Speaker 1>Way to do it.
<v Speaker 4>You want me to go with you, and I'll go
<v Speaker 4>out on stage.
<v Speaker 1>My gosh, we can both pitch you. I would love
<v Speaker 1>that you would get eighty guys right up?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, yeah, let's do that again.
<v Speaker 1>My mom listens to Germany. We're in town exactly.
<v Speaker 4>That's like the whole town stories for you.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my goodness. But again, it's just a new way
<v Speaker 1>to do it.
<v Speaker 3>And I am so over the apps and the dating
<v Speaker 3>and you know I am.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, so it's just like a new way to
<v Speaker 1>do it, just one more way.
<v Speaker 4>So love it.
<v Speaker 2>That's really neat except for Josh's friends. All right, who's
<v Speaker 2>got the Josh got the minus?
<v Speaker 4>I got to minus today?
<v Speaker 5>This one hits really close to home for everybody who
<v Speaker 5>lives around the Highlands Ranch area because Douglas County Sheriff's
<v Speaker 5>officer issuing a warning.
<v Speaker 4>After this weekend, some crazy stuff happens.
<v Speaker 5>So there's this game called Senior Assassin, and if you
<v Speaker 5>don't know what that is, it's a game where seniors
<v Speaker 5>in high school go around and they try to kind
<v Speaker 5>of take each other out with water guns. Okay, well,
<v Speaker 5>apparently water guns are now being made to look very
<v Speaker 5>realistic and seniors have the bright idea again frontal lobes
<v Speaker 5>not fully closed yet, but have the bright idea to
<v Speaker 5>go around playing the Senior Assassin game wearing ski masks
<v Speaker 5>and hid hiding their identities. Well, this happened over the weekend,
<v Speaker 5>and it happened at a grocery store, and they run
<v Speaker 5>to this grocery store with guns automatically.
<v Speaker 4>Every they look like little oozies, Yes they do. They do.
<v Speaker 5>So every mom in Highland's ranch thinks that they're about
<v Speaker 5>to be robbed. So Douglas County Sheriff's Office was called
<v Speaker 5>for this and they show up. This is very dangerous.
<v Speaker 5>If the Sheriff's office sees people wearing ski masks with guns, they,
<v Speaker 5>in turn, we'll probably draw their guns. Yeah, if you
<v Speaker 5>just have a water gun, that's not a fight that
<v Speaker 5>you're gonna win. So think about this very thoroughly if
<v Speaker 5>you are part of the senior Assassin game in high
<v Speaker 5>school right now, because this is a big minus. So
<v Speaker 5>this happened over the weekend at a grocery store and
<v Speaker 5>a bunch of teenagers were spotted with you just it's
<v Speaker 5>a fun game.
<v Speaker 4>Like I like the concept. I think it's cute.
<v Speaker 2>I saw some kids running through my neighborhood last year
<v Speaker 2>because we had some seniors next door at the house,
<v Speaker 2>and I know this was going on, and I see
<v Speaker 2>these kids running through our street with guns and I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh my god, what is.
<v Speaker 4>Happening right now?
<v Speaker 2>And they're hiding behind cars and they're in the bushes
<v Speaker 2>and it's like, what the hell. And then I saw
<v Speaker 2>him attack the young lady next door. I was like,
<v Speaker 2>I guess this is the thing everyone.
<v Speaker 4>In the house.
<v Speaker 5>But that is scary, like if you don't know what's
<v Speaker 5>going on, and especially now with the addition of ski masks,
<v Speaker 5>that's not not a good look.
<v Speaker 3>The stories too, is like somebody popped out of a
<v Speaker 3>sun roof trying to spray a water gun.
<v Speaker 1>Is good.
<v Speaker 4>It was a drive by spray.
<v Speaker 1>It's very very shocking to see. You're right, so, so
<v Speaker 1>just have fun with it.
<v Speaker 4>The ski masks at home safe.
<v Speaker 5>Don't buy the black water guns, you know, use the
<v Speaker 5>brightly colored orange and yellow one.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, the old clear ones. Yeah, make the clear, make
<v Speaker 4>them very obvious.
<v Speaker 1>And don't throw on a ski mask.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Come on, come on, come on, come on, all right,
<v Speaker 2>let's round things out with the interesting. There's a new
<v Speaker 2>reason couples are setting up credit card machines at the
<v Speaker 2>bar at their weddings. It's the hot new trend in
<v Speaker 2>helping pay for their honeymoon. I guess all these couples
<v Speaker 2>are doing it. They have an actual credit card processing
<v Speaker 2>company that comes out, sets up the little card readers
<v Speaker 2>at the bar, and then there's little signs with QR
<v Speaker 2>codes with the messages that say, don't be tight, pay
<v Speaker 2>for our flight.
<v Speaker 5>I like that.
<v Speaker 4>It's a bold ask.
<v Speaker 2>The couple said that proceeds will go towards their honeymoons,
<v Speaker 2>whether it be you know, Mexico or Ireland or Iceland,
<v Speaker 2>wherever the.
<v Speaker 4>Hell you're going on.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of these couples I'm reading about aren't revealing
<v Speaker 2>how much they made, but I would say they're probably
<v Speaker 2>making some good bank. They also interviewed various guests in
<v Speaker 2>this news article and they absolutely love it. They say
<v Speaker 2>it takes a lot of pressure off them because they
<v Speaker 2>don't have to go out and look at wedding registries.
<v Speaker 4>They don't have to try to find.
<v Speaker 2>Stupid gifts, especially when people have been together for like
<v Speaker 2>ten plus years and then they decide to get.
<v Speaker 4>Married and they got everything. Yeah, so what do they want?
<v Speaker 4>They want some cash towards their honeymoon.
<v Speaker 2>I was just at a wedding like two weeks ago
<v Speaker 2>with big tall man Dan, and they put in their
<v Speaker 2>little online.
<v Speaker 4>Blog or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>You know, no gifts contribute to our honeymoon, which is
<v Speaker 2>what we did. It's no different than what I did
<v Speaker 2>nineteen years ago. We opened up a fund at a
<v Speaker 2>furniture place and had people contribute money to that fund
<v Speaker 2>for new bedroom furniture for us, which we still have.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's time to flip it out.
<v Speaker 1>Though, I mean, it was it solid oak lifetime.
<v Speaker 4>Jared that bed's get a little round.
<v Speaker 1>Oh okay, that's what you meant.
<v Speaker 4>Just been nineteen years, Katie, kat nineteen years.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, this credit card company is hoping that this trend
<v Speaker 2>catches on at wedding venues across the country, probably because
<v Speaker 2>they get a little cut of it.
<v Speaker 1>You know, well, I love this. I love it too.
<v Speaker 3>I was wondering if you were going to say in
<v Speaker 3>lieu of gifts, like it's one thing if you have
<v Speaker 3>to go out and buy a gift, and then they
<v Speaker 3>were asking for you to contribute to the wedding fund
<v Speaker 3>or the honeymoon fund.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, if it is.
<v Speaker 3>Instead of gifts, I think it is of it because
<v Speaker 3>then you're not wasting time trying to find the perfect gift.
<v Speaker 1>The wedding register, yeah, all of that is such a process.
<v Speaker 4>So I agree for this
