<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katy and Josh one hundred. Well, we are coming
<v Speaker 1>off a high because we had a really really good
<v Speaker 1>Friday night. A ton of people showed up to our
<v Speaker 1>JKJ Happy Hour meet and greet in Little Fun. Do
<v Speaker 1>you guys have a good time?
<v Speaker 2>It is so fun.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, Little Fun needs to be renamed loads of Fun.
<v Speaker 1>It's a good time right there your thoughts.
<v Speaker 3>I just loved how it was such a way for
<v Speaker 3>not just us to get together and meet people, but
<v Speaker 3>the listeners to come.
<v Speaker 2>Together and meet each other.
<v Speaker 3>And you know, like we had people just completely you know,
<v Speaker 3>make new friends and create new clicks. And you know,
<v Speaker 3>Drew was the life of the party. If you didn't
<v Speaker 3>know Drew from Drew's daily Dad joke, showed up and
<v Speaker 3>you know, once people figured out who he was, it
<v Speaker 3>was like, oh my gosh.
<v Speaker 2>There's Drew.
<v Speaker 1>So it was just so happy.
<v Speaker 3>It was such a fun, positive environment where we all
<v Speaker 3>got together and meet each other. And that's what I
<v Speaker 3>like about those is it's like one big community getting
<v Speaker 3>together and just having a good time.
<v Speaker 2>And it was.
<v Speaker 3>And then you can't you know that the lake House
<v Speaker 3>Kitchen and Tavern, they sure know how to do it.
<v Speaker 2>What wonderful hosts.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, it just was so fabulous from beginning to end,
<v Speaker 3>and I can't thank everyone enough for showing up and
<v Speaker 3>having a good time with us.
<v Speaker 4>It was really nice.
<v Speaker 1>Drew his total total rock star. He had his sunglasses
<v Speaker 1>on and he was mingling with everybody. What a great kid.
<v Speaker 1>Really Yeah, but yeah, you're right, so many happy people.
<v Speaker 1>Like I said last week, it was a heavy week,
<v Speaker 1>so we needed to just decompress a little bit and
<v Speaker 1>have some fun, seriously, and we did. Big Rob showed up,
<v Speaker 1>Nina showed up, Marky, who's behind the scenes here at
<v Speaker 1>the station, showed up, My parents showed.
<v Speaker 2>Up, Nick Knack and the kids were there.
<v Speaker 1>We posted a bunch of pictures on our social pages,
<v Speaker 1>so Jeremy Katy Josh on Facebook, Jeremy Katy Josh on
<v Speaker 1>Instagram if you want to see what all went down
<v Speaker 1>at the old JKJ Happy or We'll try to do
<v Speaker 1>another one here in the next couple months. Hopefully this
<v Speaker 1>one only took like nine months to get done. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we'll try to poke our sales team to to get
<v Speaker 1>one of these lined up again before Christmas. So big
<v Speaker 1>thank you to everybody that came out.
<v Speaker 2>It was a good weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Other than that, for me, it was packed. On Saturday,
<v Speaker 1>we had a cheerleading event with my daughter into a
<v Speaker 1>basketball game in wheat Ridge into Highlands Ranch for my
<v Speaker 1>cousin's fortieth birthday party. Speaking of our Facebook, you should
<v Speaker 1>hop on and check out the charcouterie board at this
<v Speaker 1>party that we were at, absolutely insane. And I was
<v Speaker 1>talking to one of my cousins and he was saying
<v Speaker 1>that he actually found a woman. And I believe it
<v Speaker 1>was like on next door that this is her side hustle.
<v Speaker 1>She just puts together charcuterie boards and brings them to
<v Speaker 1>your house, sets it up, and goes on her way.
<v Speaker 2>What a fun job, what a gig.
<v Speaker 1>Huh.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>Katie was like, you would be perfect for that.
<v Speaker 2>All right, that might be the problem.
<v Speaker 1>It's yeah, take a look at it though. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know how many feet it is.
<v Speaker 1>It was really really well done. My only other observation
<v Speaker 1>from the weekend than it is from wheat Ridge High School.
<v Speaker 2>And uh.
<v Speaker 1>One of the neat things about my son playing basketball
<v Speaker 1>is we hop around to various high schools, so I'm
<v Speaker 1>getting to check out all these high schools around the
<v Speaker 1>Denver Metro that I've never been in, and it's really
<v Speaker 1>neat just kind of seeing all the different schools and everything.
<v Speaker 1>We've got a lot of family history with wheat Ridge.
<v Speaker 1>Wheat Ridge, so I was excited to get in there.
<v Speaker 1>God bless y'all to go to that school because it
<v Speaker 1>smells I mean, that place has probably been around eighteen Yeah, farmers,
<v Speaker 1>it smells like the farm. You know. It was like
<v Speaker 1>as soon as we walked in, who it hit you
<v Speaker 1>and we were like, oh my god, what is that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if it was a combination of old
<v Speaker 1>school and a bunch of sweaty boys and they're playing basketball,
<v Speaker 1>but it was. It was pungent, it was ripe. So
<v Speaker 1>just a shout out to the h fine crew at
<v Speaker 1>wheat Ridge. Might won't pick up some for breeze your
<v Speaker 1>saying maybe a little some of those glade plugins here
<v Speaker 1>and there around the school might be beneficial.
<v Speaker 2>Just say it. That's so funny, how about you guys.
<v Speaker 1>I know, Josh went to Nate Barghet See which looked awesome.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, man, it was a blast, it was. He is
<v Speaker 4>just a funny dude. Like everything he says. You could say, Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>the guy's blue and you're like, oh, that's so funny.
<v Speaker 4>So that was really fun. Sunday we had a huge
<v Speaker 4>Broncos party and Seahawks party. My uncle's with the Seahawks,
<v Speaker 4>so we always celebrate and watch them. Uh they got
<v Speaker 4>a good win. That was really cool. We also actually
<v Speaker 4>had a massive charcouterie board. There you go, that's how
<v Speaker 4>you say it over there too, And it's funny because
<v Speaker 4>my sister loves making those things and so she was
<v Speaker 4>the one in charge of it, and I thought she
<v Speaker 4>crushed it too. But now I want to check out
<v Speaker 4>what you were talking about. I want to compare and contract.
<v Speaker 2>There's doughnuts on.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's insane, takes up the entire it goes all
<v Speaker 1>the way down the mile.
<v Speaker 4>And you guys stuck it up and you need six.
<v Speaker 3>Sets of tongs, isn't there one six?
<v Speaker 1>And like the cheese that she cut into the shape
<v Speaker 1>of little wine glasses and everything, like, if this is
<v Speaker 1>going to be your side hustle, you got to go
<v Speaker 1>all out.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't know how much it is, That's what
<v Speaker 4>I was wondering too.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna have to try to find that's a.
<v Speaker 4>Lot of money just for the meats and would you
<v Speaker 4>look at that.
<v Speaker 3>I just didn't know you were allowed to put donuts
<v Speaker 3>on a sharcooter.
<v Speaker 2>I know, and I'll tell you it is blown.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't get in there soon enough, and all the
<v Speaker 1>kids snaged the donuts, those little jerks. I was left
<v Speaker 1>with cucumber slices. Sucks, and Katie, I saw you would
<v Speaker 1>and did some hike ins I did.
<v Speaker 3>And also I just want to point out this food
<v Speaker 3>was involved with my weekend as well. I try and
<v Speaker 3>stay pretty healthy during the week, but on the weekend
<v Speaker 3>I will eat some bad food and then I like
<v Speaker 3>to make videos with it because I like to do
<v Speaker 3>those muck bang videos. And so I explained what those Well,
<v Speaker 3>those are the videos that you make where you're actually
<v Speaker 3>like trying the food and describing it and actually getting
<v Speaker 3>people interested in the act of eating the food the moment.
<v Speaker 3>And so I made three munk bang videos. So you right, Well,
<v Speaker 3>the weekends are my time to really show up, right,
<v Speaker 3>so holy cracked fun videos.
<v Speaker 2>I tried the new sandwich at Chick fil A, loved it.
<v Speaker 3>I probably liked the Smokehouse barbecue one better though that
<v Speaker 3>they did like the.
<v Speaker 4>They could put the Smokehouse barbecue on the pretzel bun.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah it would be ecstatic.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, no, it was pretty good.
<v Speaker 3>And then I had two Crave Cookies, so I went
<v Speaker 3>to go try the Crave Cookies.
<v Speaker 2>Had never been there.
<v Speaker 3>And then I also had some tacos from a spot
<v Speaker 3>we were at, the lake House Kitchen and Tavern in Littleton,
<v Speaker 3>but they also owned the Mesa Kitchen, and so I
<v Speaker 3>went there and tried their Maria tacos and I had
<v Speaker 3>one left over and made a little monk Bang video
<v Speaker 3>the next day.
<v Speaker 2>So those are always fun for me.
<v Speaker 3>I love, I absolutely love making the food videos. So
<v Speaker 3>there was a lot of that. And then you're right,
<v Speaker 3>I got to go and hiking Colorado Springs, and I love,
<v Speaker 3>I just loved that place. And I think that when
<v Speaker 3>it comes to Colorado, everybody things, oh, I want to
<v Speaker 3>go to the mountains, Let's start going west on I seventy.
<v Speaker 2>You don't have to do that, you can just go
<v Speaker 2>south there. There's mountains down there too.
<v Speaker 3>In fact, the highest point is down south, so if
<v Speaker 3>you want to wander down that way. But there's just
<v Speaker 3>so many places for you to explore down there in
<v Speaker 3>Colorado Springs, and some of my favorite trails are down
<v Speaker 3>that way, and just a pro tip, seven Bridges Trail
<v Speaker 3>is one of my favorite places.
<v Speaker 1>It makes that so great.
<v Speaker 3>There's seven bridges along this trail and it's awesome, Like
<v Speaker 3>you'd be like, man, no, you want to get all
<v Speaker 3>the way to the seventh and it's just so much
<v Speaker 3>fun because it's again like you are ten minutes outside
<v Speaker 3>of Colorado Springs, but you feel like you're just lost
<v Speaker 3>in the wilderness.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 3>It's you can completely escape from any reality that you
<v Speaker 3>want to get away from. And that's what I love
<v Speaker 3>about hiking is it's like you're in a different world,
<v Speaker 3>you know. And so I had the best time. And
<v Speaker 3>if anybody ever wants to, you know, get some you know,
<v Speaker 3>guidance over where you should go in Colorado to hike,
<v Speaker 3>you can always hit me up on the time.
<v Speaker 2>I'd love to chat with you about it. Really. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there's so now well, And.
<v Speaker 3>That's the thing is like a lot of people will
<v Speaker 3>talk about taking vacations and you know, going and seeing
<v Speaker 3>new things across the world, and I'm all about that too,
<v Speaker 3>but there are so many places right here in Colorado
<v Speaker 3>that a lot of people don't even know about.
<v Speaker 2>In my dating life.
<v Speaker 3>I can't tell you how many people tell me in
<v Speaker 3>these exact words.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, there are waterfalls in Colorado.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh, those mountains gotta spit out water somewhere right,
<v Speaker 3>like it just has to happen. So there are actually
<v Speaker 3>eighty two named waterfalls in the state of Colorado, and
<v Speaker 3>there's a lot to explore.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, start your own little app. Why Kati's waterfall app?
<v Speaker 2>It's fun.
<v Speaker 3>I have an Instagram and again you're more than welcome
<v Speaker 3>to follow it. It's chasing waterfalls Colorado and I post
<v Speaker 3>all the little adventures I go on there and a
<v Speaker 3>lot of water.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's a lot of water. But that's the thing.
<v Speaker 3>Water just the sound of running water will immediately one
<v Speaker 3>lower your blood pressure, lower your stress levels, It'll boost
<v Speaker 3>your mood.
<v Speaker 2>So just this, I feel like you need to pee.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, well that too, But again it's a relieving sense,
<v Speaker 3>you know, like it's so great. So it's like the
<v Speaker 3>sound of water alone is so scientifically known to make
<v Speaker 3>you feel better. I mean, there's you're not gonna, you know,
<v Speaker 3>see a water fall and feel bad about it.
<v Speaker 2>I can guarantee.
<v Speaker 3>Unless you fall, well there's that don't fall in and
<v Speaker 3>you'll feel.
<v Speaker 1>Great because some of those pictures you were posting, you
<v Speaker 1>were like teetering on the ledge.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I know, you got some good grips
<v Speaker 1>on your little hiking boots there because you want slide
<v Speaker 1>right in. Oh it's Amazing're gonna find your bloated carcass down.
<v Speaker 2>The stream a little bit. No no, no, no no.
<v Speaker 1>And I'll do a bang bang video of finding you.
<v Speaker 3>I actually I had a friendless time with me, and
<v Speaker 3>so it's like that's a little bit safe, you feel like,
<v Speaker 3>because at least they could call somebody and tell them.
<v Speaker 2>Floated carcass is what you mean.
<v Speaker 1>It's one of those backpacks that some of the parents
<v Speaker 1>put on the toddlers that have the rope that goes back,
<v Speaker 1>you know, from the backpack and then hold on to you.
<v Speaker 2>That's what you need so I can flow. Yeah, there
<v Speaker 2>you go, blooded Carcass's ear
