<v Speaker 1>Well, finally Wressell Palooza is upon us. We won't have
<v Speaker 1>to hear the name Wreussell Palooza after tomorrow, the kickoff
<v Speaker 1>of the ESPN Era. In case you didn't know, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how you would not know if you would
<v Speaker 1>have watched this show tonight. They made that very clear.
<v Speaker 1>You know. I have to say as I was watching
<v Speaker 1>this conclusion to this episode of smack though, which was
<v Speaker 1>not a terrible show. It was a solid enough go
<v Speaker 1>home show. But there's a pattern that is developing here.
<v Speaker 1>Where would this show be if it wasn't for the
<v Speaker 1>Sammy's A and US Title Open Challenge matches? Like if
<v Speaker 1>you take those matches out of the equation and you
<v Speaker 1>look at SmackDown, like fucking yikes. Seriously, where would this
<v Speaker 1>show be without those matches? Because those matches have become
<v Speaker 1>the highlight of SmackDown ever since they started. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what that says about the rest of the show,
<v Speaker 1>but thank god we at least have that. What we
<v Speaker 1>had in the the closing segment tonight was Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>and Drew McIntyre. They are wrestling for the WWE Championship tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>We now know that will be the main event of
<v Speaker 1>the show. They are closing the show with the WWE
<v Speaker 1>title match. That is the belief. We certainly know what
<v Speaker 1>match is not closing the show. We know John Cena
<v Speaker 1>and Brock Lesner are opening the show. They did confirm that. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we had a contract signing with Cody and Drew, and
<v Speaker 1>we haven't really had a whole lot of interaction between
<v Speaker 1>the two of them because Cody was gone. He was away,
<v Speaker 1>he was filming Street Fighter as Roman Reigns is right now.
<v Speaker 1>He's gone, he's filming. So in terms of the build
<v Speaker 1>up to this WWE title batge, we really haven't gotten
<v Speaker 1>a whole hell of a lot, right McIntyre Cody into
<v Speaker 1>the announced desk that was over a month ago, Cody vanished,
<v Speaker 1>Cody came back, We got a contract signing, and when
<v Speaker 1>it was over, the champion was left laying, the challenger
<v Speaker 1>was standing tall. Probably doesn't bode well for Drew McIntyre.
<v Speaker 1>But I have to say, if they are closing the
<v Speaker 1>show with Cody Roads and Drew McIntyre tomorrow, they have
<v Speaker 1>to do something big, and the biggest thing that you
<v Speaker 1>could do would be to put the WWE Championship on
<v Speaker 1>Drew McIntyre. But I just can't. I just don't see it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see it. Cody is defending his title for
<v Speaker 1>the first time since winning it back at Summer Slim.
<v Speaker 1>This is his first title defense since beating John Cena,
<v Speaker 1>and they're just gonna take the championship away from him.
<v Speaker 1>I would certainly consider doing it, I just can't. I
<v Speaker 1>can't see them doing it. But if this is going
<v Speaker 1>to be the main event of the show, something big
<v Speaker 1>has to happen. Does that involve Randy Orton? Are we
<v Speaker 1>gonna get a Randy Orton heel turn at the end
<v Speaker 1>of Russell Palooza tomorrow? That would certainly be a big development.
<v Speaker 1>But I just can't see this being the main event
<v Speaker 1>and then doing just the you know, Cody beats Drew, right,
<v Speaker 1>how fucking lame would that be, or just doing some
<v Speaker 1>sort of nonsensical finish without there being some kind of
<v Speaker 1>big angle that they do to close that show. But
<v Speaker 1>they were in the closing segment on tonight's show, brock Lesner,
<v Speaker 1>as he willed tomorrow, he opened the show and he
<v Speaker 1>wreaked all kinds of havoc in the opening segment leaving
<v Speaker 1>an announcer lay. He was attacking the announcers tonight, which
<v Speaker 1>is a very interesting way of building up his match
<v Speaker 1>here with John Cena, and the closest thing to any
<v Speaker 1>sort of explanation, and it's not really an explanation, but
<v Speaker 1>it's the closest thing to cling to as far as
<v Speaker 1>why he has been attacking John Cena. Actually came later
<v Speaker 1>on in a video package where we got a little
<v Speaker 1>snippet from Brock talking about how John is on this
<v Speaker 1>stage phony retirement tour and I'm gonna fuck it all up.
<v Speaker 1>That's the closest thing to an explanation that we've gotten
<v Speaker 1>of why Brock lesnar shows now after two years to
<v Speaker 1>come back and go after John Cena. Of course, John
<v Speaker 1>Cena was not on the show tonight because he is
<v Speaker 1>done with SmackDown. We will not see him on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>ever again here for the duration of his retirement tour.
<v Speaker 1>We did have another entry in the US Title Open Challenge,
<v Speaker 1>thank god, because without it, my God, this show would
<v Speaker 1>have sucked. Samy' zaining defending the championship against Carmelo Hayes,
<v Speaker 1>another very good match. We had the women's tag team
<v Speaker 1>titles on the line as well, which wasn't so good.
<v Speaker 1>It was fine, it was decent. It really wasn't anything special,
<v Speaker 1>and that's a great way to describe this episode of SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>not really anything special. They did the hard sell for
<v Speaker 1>the things they had to do the hard sell for.
<v Speaker 1>But the two key matches that they built up on
<v Speaker 1>this show, if you really think about the way they've
<v Speaker 1>built those matches up, has left a lot to be desired.
<v Speaker 1>And the best built match on this entire pl tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>involves a woman who has not wrestled in ten years.
<v Speaker 1>That mixed tag match with see I'm Punk and aj
<v Speaker 1>Lee against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch is the best
<v Speaker 1>built match on that pl tomorrow. The two key matches
<v Speaker 1>on SmackDown, they've done the bare minimum of what they
<v Speaker 1>could do. Some people weren't available, whatever the case may be,
<v Speaker 1>but here we are and it is still a five
<v Speaker 1>match card. There was talk of it being expanded to six.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, there was a Women's Championship triple threat match
<v Speaker 1>that was listed apparently on some of the t shirts
<v Speaker 1>for the show. Plans change, and it has nothing to
<v Speaker 1>do with an injury. We'll talk about that as well.
<v Speaker 1>This is your Friday Night SmackDown review. It is September nineteenth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five. I am the Solemn Monster. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for hanging out with me here on a Friday night.
<v Speaker 1>Do me a favor like and subscribe. Super chats are
<v Speaker 1>open as well. We have a little goal going in
<v Speaker 1>the chat. You will see they will be triggered on
<v Speaker 1>screen as they come in. Hey, the Bubba Fetts in
<v Speaker 1>the chat has the right idea. I've heard from a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people asking me about the VPN. That's how
<v Speaker 1>I will be tuning into Wrestle Pollouza tomorrow, and I
<v Speaker 1>suggest you do the same, especially if you are someone
<v Speaker 1>who does not have access to ESPN and they're going
<v Speaker 1>to force you to pay thirty bucks for this five
<v Speaker 1>match card tomorrow. Tell you ExpressVPN and Netflix it's all
<v Speaker 1>you need. You got a Netflix account, You're good man.
<v Speaker 1>These PL's are still airing internationally on Netflix in most markets.
<v Speaker 1>So that's what he's doing, he says in the chat.
<v Speaker 1>That's what a lot of you guys should be doing
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow when you tune into Wrestle Palooza. You'll thank me later.
<v Speaker 1>I get those super chats on in I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>be reading your messages and we'll have some fun with that. Also,
<v Speaker 1>I want to mention channel memberships always open. And just
<v Speaker 1>before SmackDown went on the air tonight, I actually got
<v Speaker 1>up a new episode of the lost episodes. This one's
<v Speaker 1>pretty cool. Among the lost episodes of the sound off
<v Speaker 1>is this edition of SI Scoops Live from March twenty fourth,
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and eight, right before WrestleMania twenty four. This
<v Speaker 1>was the old Monday night raw post show that myself
<v Speaker 1>and Noah Mark did for a period of time, and
<v Speaker 1>we have live call ins. We do WrestleMania prediction, some
<v Speaker 1>cool stuff going back and listening to it that is
<v Speaker 1>up right now, just went up tonight. If you are
<v Speaker 1>on the Legends Tier Legends Tier Channel members, you have
<v Speaker 1>access to that almost an hour of that episode of
<v Speaker 1>SE Scoops Live. You want to talk about going back
<v Speaker 1>in the vault. There you go. That's going back in
<v Speaker 1>the vault right there, So go ahead and check that out.
<v Speaker 1>More content to come. Now's a great time to become
<v Speaker 1>a channel member. Let's get into this show. Here they'll
<v Speaker 1>talk about SmackDown. Saidro again, thank you, and we'll be
<v Speaker 1>getting to your message and everybody else is here as
<v Speaker 1>we go along. They opened the show tonight with a
<v Speaker 1>shot of Michael Cole and Corey Graves and Bob Way.
<v Speaker 1>Wade Barrett is scheduled back any week now. Wade Barrett
<v Speaker 1>was only taking two weeks off. He is going to
<v Speaker 1>be back likely. I don't know if he'll be there
<v Speaker 1>at Russell Polluza tomorrow. I think Pat McAfee's going to
<v Speaker 1>be back on the show since it's in Indianapolis. But
<v Speaker 1>by next week I would expect to see Wade Barrett
<v Speaker 1>back on TV. But they opened with Cole and Corey
<v Speaker 1>Graves at ringside announcing that John Cena versus brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>is going to open the show tomorrow at Russell Palooza.
<v Speaker 1>Cole said that he was supposed to sit down with
<v Speaker 1>Brock for an interview later on, but he was being
<v Speaker 1>told in his ear Tony Kahn was telling him he
<v Speaker 1>relays those messages to Tony Schavani every week. He was
<v Speaker 1>relaying a message that Brock apparently wanted to talk now.
<v Speaker 1>So Cole took his glasses off and he stood up
<v Speaker 1>and he went to go interview brock Lesner. He made
<v Speaker 1>it as far as the isle before Lesner's music hit.
<v Speaker 1>An outcomes Cowboy Brock and he walks down the aisle
<v Speaker 1>and Michael Cole looks like he's about to shit himself.
<v Speaker 1>Terrible dry Chicken says. Wade Barrett and Pat McAfee are
<v Speaker 1>doing commentary on Russell Paloosas there you go. Wade Barrett
<v Speaker 1>will be back according to him tomorrow. I said he's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be back any week now. Yeah, Welfare Queen says,
<v Speaker 1>my mom misses Jacob fa tou Yeah. Where's he been?
<v Speaker 1>I see he's been doing some dark matches. I think
<v Speaker 1>he had a dark match last week against RUSSEV. That's
<v Speaker 1>great and all. Where the fuck is Jacob fa tu boy?
<v Speaker 1>Did they cool him off? Where's he been now? But
<v Speaker 1>we got a vignette tonight with Tongaaloa and Solo Socoa.
<v Speaker 1>It's ridiculous. Brock walks down the aisle. He grabs Michael
<v Speaker 1>Cole like a child and he puts him over his shoulder.
<v Speaker 1>He proceeds then to walk around the ring. He circles
<v Speaker 1>the ringside area with him, walks up the ring steps
<v Speaker 1>and then dumps him into the ring and Brock follows
<v Speaker 1>him into the ring and he had Cole in the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He was threatening to destroy this man. Corey Graves could
<v Speaker 1>take no more. Corey Graves is a man that sticks
<v Speaker 1>up for his friends, and so he puts his headset down.
<v Speaker 1>He gets into the ring and he approaches Brock. This
<v Speaker 1>is like approaching a wild animal, you know, in a zoo.
<v Speaker 1>You're not supposed to get that close. Bad things could happen.
<v Speaker 1>And he's trying to calm down Brock Lesner, which is
<v Speaker 1>a terrible idea. And so for his efforts, Brock grabs Corey,
<v Speaker 1>he picks him up on his shoulders and he delivers
<v Speaker 1>an F five and that is the first bump that
<v Speaker 1>Corey Graves has taken since he retired in was that
<v Speaker 1>eleven years ago? Twenty fourteen? I believe now he's been
<v Speaker 1>medically clear. For those who don't know, Corey Graves is
<v Speaker 1>medically cleared. If you wanted to wrestle, take bumps. He's
<v Speaker 1>been medically cleared for about three years now. He just
<v Speaker 1>chooses not to so every now and then to use
<v Speaker 1>him in an angle like this could be very effective.
<v Speaker 1>So he gets laid out with an F five. The
<v Speaker 1>craft starts chanting for John Cena Lesner grabs the camera
<v Speaker 1>and he begins yelling into it, and he's saying, John,
<v Speaker 1>it's D Day tomorrow. I'm coming for blood. That's as
<v Speaker 1>close to an explanation as we're gonna get. That in
<v Speaker 1>that little little snippet from the interview package later on,
<v Speaker 1>that's about as close to an explanation as we're gonna get.
<v Speaker 1>He wants blood, Brock, he's a vampire. Brock is back
<v Speaker 1>for blood. So after that, he paces around ringside. He
<v Speaker 1>destroys the prime hydration station. I've been waiting for somebody
<v Speaker 1>to do that. Of course he does it. Nobody's gonna
<v Speaker 1>tell him not to. He's throwing shit around, he's picking
<v Speaker 1>up the ring steps, and he sees it in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>A bunch of producers have gotten into the ring to
<v Speaker 1>try to assist Corey. He gets into the ring, he
<v Speaker 1>chases all of them away, and then he picks Graves
<v Speaker 1>back up. He delivers a second F five, and the
<v Speaker 1>crowd was so concerned for Corey Graves, for the welfare
<v Speaker 1>of this man. They begin channing one more time, and Brock,
<v Speaker 1>being the heel, does not oblige. He leaves the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody booze and Brock heads to the back. It was
<v Speaker 1>a hot segment. I'll say that it was a chaotic
<v Speaker 1>way to start the show. It was a different way
<v Speaker 1>to start the show, which I appreciate. You know, when
<v Speaker 1>they deviate from the norm and they do something that
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been done in a while, it's good, right because
<v Speaker 1>they follow the same formula generally week to week. So
<v Speaker 1>I like what they did here in this segment. The chaos.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that it does much to add to
<v Speaker 1>the match with him and John necessarily, you know, it
<v Speaker 1>just reinforces the idea that this man isn't just like
<v Speaker 1>an uncaged animal, right, He's like a wild beast, and
<v Speaker 1>you don't know what he's capable of, You don't know
<v Speaker 1>what he's you know, how far he's willing to go.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that was the idea basically that they were
<v Speaker 1>driving home. But this is a match that has not
<v Speaker 1>had any real build. You know, these two obviously have
<v Speaker 1>history together, They've had many matches before, but in terms
<v Speaker 1>of this one, this being their final one, there has
<v Speaker 1>not been much build to speak of here in this match,
<v Speaker 1>and it has been sold purely based off of the
<v Speaker 1>names involved. You know, John Cena has a very limited
<v Speaker 1>number of matches left. Brock Lesner is wrestling his first
<v Speaker 1>match in over two years. They're both big names, and
<v Speaker 1>that's how the match is being sold, and that might
<v Speaker 1>work for some people, it doesn't work for others. There
<v Speaker 1>are some people, I'm sure, who were very excited to
<v Speaker 1>see this match again, and I know there were a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people who are not. Doesn't mean they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to tune in, but it's hard to get overly
<v Speaker 1>excited for a match that either you've seen a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of times before, you know, and now they're a lot older,
<v Speaker 1>or the story that you're looking for just isn't there.
<v Speaker 1>Whether or not this is a match that needs story,
<v Speaker 1>I guess we'll find out, you know, we'll see because
<v Speaker 1>this show has largely been sold off of this match.
<v Speaker 1>You know they're opening the show with it, But for
<v Speaker 1>all intents and purposes, this is the real main event.
<v Speaker 1>You know of Wreussell Palloza. When Joe Tessitor was on
<v Speaker 1>Sports Center a few weeks ago and said, the main
<v Speaker 1>event is John Cena against brock Lesnar. It doesn't matter
<v Speaker 1>where it is on the card, you know it is
<v Speaker 1>it really is that whole show. Look at the posters.
<v Speaker 1>This whole show has really been built around this match.
<v Speaker 1>So but of course they are opening the show with
<v Speaker 1>it so Lesner can get back to Saskatchewan as quickly
<v Speaker 1>as possible. I guarantee you that Lesner that plane is
<v Speaker 1>going to touch down on the tarmac up in Saskatchewan.
<v Speaker 1>The main event will not even be in the ring yet,
<v Speaker 1>Cody and Drew will not even have made their entrances
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring, and Brock will be back home,
<v Speaker 1>safe and sound in Saskatchewan. He is going to get
<v Speaker 1>out of there as quickly as humanly possible. Now, when
<v Speaker 1>they came back from the break, Corey Graves was still
<v Speaker 1>face down in the ring. Producers were checking on him,
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole pointing out to them. I think he said like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>his neck is starting to swell. I could have sworn
<v Speaker 1>that's what he said. Oh, look, his neck is starting
<v Speaker 1>to starting to swell. He took two face bumps on
<v Speaker 1>the F five, but his neck is starting to swell.
<v Speaker 1>So they cut to the back. Brock is walking and
<v Speaker 1>he stops in his tracks because he sees something, and
<v Speaker 1>he walks over and the camera pans over and what
<v Speaker 1>does he see? He sees his old friend and nemesis
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman. It's been a while since these two have
<v Speaker 1>come face to face. So they share a bit of
<v Speaker 1>a tense stare down here. And Hayman was not alone.
<v Speaker 1>He was had bron Breaker and Bronze and Read with him,
<v Speaker 1>so they share you're a tense stare down for a
<v Speaker 1>moment before Lesner tells him we should talk and then
<v Speaker 1>he walks off. Very interesting. So then Nick All this
<v Speaker 1>the general manager of SmackDown. He shows up. He warns
<v Speaker 1>the Vision don't cause any more problems tonight. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why you're here, but I have a contract signing
<v Speaker 1>later on with Cody and Drew. I don't want anything
<v Speaker 1>messed up. And Hayman assure you. He says, oh, we're
<v Speaker 1>looking for the USOS. Do you know where they are?
<v Speaker 1>And all this says you know, Dan well that they're
<v Speaker 1>not here. And with that, Hayman and the Vision they
<v Speaker 1>left saying we're simply here to enjoy the show. But
<v Speaker 1>that was a very interesting tease there between Lesner and Hayman.
<v Speaker 1>My first thought when I see something like that, Brock
<v Speaker 1>is never going to learn. He's never going to learn
<v Speaker 1>this man has turned on him. Twice in the past,
<v Speaker 1>twice in twenty plus. You would think he would learn
<v Speaker 1>his lesson that this man is not to be trusted,
<v Speaker 1>but evidently he doesn't seem to mind, and he's still
<v Speaker 1>willing to do business with Paul Hayman. What kind of
<v Speaker 1>business though? You know Lesner and Hayman is a duo.
<v Speaker 1>It's just such a natural pairing. If they really did
<v Speaker 1>want to put them back together. And I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>Brock has to join the Vision, but if you wanted
<v Speaker 1>to put Lesner and Hayman back together, I'm okay with that.
<v Speaker 1>It's a natural pairing, as natural as Undertaker and Paul
<v Speaker 1>Behar were pairing for so many years, right. They just
<v Speaker 1>go so well together. It just makes sense. But my
<v Speaker 1>other thought, of course, ties into what's coming up in
<v Speaker 1>a couple of months, which a Survivor series and the
<v Speaker 1>very likely probability that the Vision will be playing a
<v Speaker 1>role in the Men's Wargames match. Now, right now, there's
<v Speaker 1>only three members of the Vision, right seth Rollins, bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid, so they would need some help if it's
<v Speaker 1>four on four, if it's five on five. But if
<v Speaker 1>you assume that they're going to be on the heels
<v Speaker 1>side of a Wargames match. And now we have Hayman
<v Speaker 1>and Lesner are teasing, Oh, we need to talk, right,
<v Speaker 1>We need to have a conversation, a conversation about what
<v Speaker 1>is it possible that Paul Hayman will enlist the services
<v Speaker 1>of Brock Lesner to be joining forces with the Vision
<v Speaker 1>in a Wargames match. Absolutely, I think it's possible. And
<v Speaker 1>if so, I could see Lesner and the Vision on
<v Speaker 1>one side and maybe they need one more person, But
<v Speaker 1>you got that crew, and on the other side of
<v Speaker 1>the ring, you got John Cena, who's never been as Brock,
<v Speaker 1>never been in a Wargames match before. You can have
<v Speaker 1>John Cena, Roman Reigns, cmpunk all on the same team
<v Speaker 1>or John Cena, Roman Reigns and the USOS. Actually, you
<v Speaker 1>know what would be really cool if they could figure
<v Speaker 1>out a way to work someone like Jacob Fatu into
<v Speaker 1>that equation. Again, he has been absent on SmackDown now
<v Speaker 1>for weeks and has been severely cooled off. Now, what
<v Speaker 1>I would like to see is if you're gonna do
<v Speaker 1>something like that works someone like him into the equation,
<v Speaker 1>because you would have bron Breaker and Bronson Reid on
<v Speaker 1>the other side, right, And bron Breker is someone who
<v Speaker 1>people look at as oh the future of WWEE right, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna headline multiple WrestleManias. Guess what, so can Jacob Fatu.
<v Speaker 1>He should be worked into that equation as well. How
<v Speaker 1>about a John Cena Roman range Jacob fa Tu team
<v Speaker 1>with one or two other people against Brock and the vision.
<v Speaker 1>I could see that vision, I could get behind that.
<v Speaker 1>That would be an interesting wargames match. So that, I
<v Speaker 1>think is the first tease of what's to come, because
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that we're looking at a full blown
<v Speaker 1>reunion between Lesler and Hayman. But if they're gonna do business,
<v Speaker 1>what else would they be doing business for if it's
<v Speaker 1>not tied into wargames in some way. So that'll be
<v Speaker 1>something very interesting to keep an eye on going forward.
<v Speaker 1>Let's move on here, because back in the arena, Michael
<v Speaker 1>Cole returned to the announced desk. He was at a
<v Speaker 1>loss for words about what happened to his partner. He
<v Speaker 1>said that in the years that he's been on commentary,
<v Speaker 1>he never felt as helpless as he did tonight. Cole said, well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know about that. I do recall
<v Speaker 1>a certain segment on this show many years ago where
<v Speaker 1>he was shoved up against the wall by one heiden
<v Speaker 1>Reich where he looked kind of helpless. But you know,
<v Speaker 1>the less said about that, the better. He said that
<v Speaker 1>if that's what awaited John Cena tomorrow, he doesn't know
<v Speaker 1>if even Sina has the answers for brock Lester. Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>Flair and Alexa Bliss were up next. They were defending
<v Speaker 1>the women's tag team titles against Chelsea Green and Alba Fire.
<v Speaker 1>Still no sign of Piper Niven, so whatever is going
<v Speaker 1>on with Piper? She has been mia for several weeks now.
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea took a shot at Alexa in the corner, ended
<v Speaker 1>up eating an elbow from Charlotte. Bliss tagged herself in.
<v Speaker 1>She went to work on Chelsea and Alba. The challengers
<v Speaker 1>ended up with the advantage heading into a commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>Ring In the commercial break, the mizz came down to
<v Speaker 1>ringside to join Michael Cole on commentary and sit in
<v Speaker 1>for Corey Graves for the remainder of the show. So
<v Speaker 1>they returned from the break, Bliss was desperately reaching for
<v Speaker 1>the tag, trying to get that tag she almost got it.
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte got pulled from the apron by Alba, which gave
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea a chance to continue her attack. Chelsea ended up
<v Speaker 1>missing a shoulder tackle. This allowed Bliss to finally get
<v Speaker 1>the hot tag to Charlotte. Charlotte teed off with chops
<v Speaker 1>on both women. She tried to set up for the
<v Speaker 1>figure eight Green, though provided a distraction and ate a
<v Speaker 1>big boot. Alba went for a roll up, could not
<v Speaker 1>get the pin, and as Charlotte headed up top, Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>grabbed her leg, which allowed Alba to connect with the
<v Speaker 1>Swanton bomb. Bliss broke up the pin. Bliss and Flair.
<v Speaker 1>They delivered stereo natural selections to Chelsea and Alba, and
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte got the pin on Chelsea to retain the tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles. Decent little defense here for the champs. They
<v Speaker 1>were also successful on the NXT homecoming show this week.
<v Speaker 1>You know it was fine. Hopefully they can put their
<v Speaker 1>issues with the secret hervists in the rear view. The
<v Speaker 1>challenge now is I mean, they have not established any
<v Speaker 1>other team as the obvious next in line challengers for
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte and Alexa. So the risk you run here is
<v Speaker 1>that if you really have not set anybody else up
<v Speaker 1>as the obvious challengers, and they don't have a story
<v Speaker 1>with somebody else kind of ready and waiting here, you
<v Speaker 1>could end up kind of stalling the momentum that they
<v Speaker 1>have as far as their characters go. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>who's next for them. I really don't. There isn't much
<v Speaker 1>of a division to speak of, and I do think
<v Speaker 1>the pairing has done wonders for Charlotte. But now you
<v Speaker 1>start getting into okay, do they have enough challengers to
<v Speaker 1>work with? And the ones that come to mind would
<v Speaker 1>be the Kabooki Warriors to raw, Oscar and Kyrie. You know,
<v Speaker 1>would they be next in line? Who? Well, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>give me a better option here, Give me a better
<v Speaker 1>especially on SmackDown. Give me a better option. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think there is one right now. In the back, BFAB
<v Speaker 1>was trying to talk to Montese Ford and Angelo Dawkins,
<v Speaker 1>saying that if they want Tag Team Gold, you need
<v Speaker 1>to get past your issues because the street profits that
<v Speaker 1>they've been a little rocky of late. Meechin comes over
<v Speaker 1>and says she and Befab need to go talk to
<v Speaker 1>Nick Aldis about their tag team match next week with
<v Speaker 1>Julia and Keana James. Now I don't remember if she
<v Speaker 1>said we have to go talk to him about the
<v Speaker 1>match with them or about getting a match with them.
<v Speaker 1>Getting a match with them, that would make more sense,
<v Speaker 1>because my first thought was, if you have a match
<v Speaker 1>already with them, what the hell do you need to
<v Speaker 1>go off to talk to Nick All this for. What
<v Speaker 1>were we going to plan. We're going to go over
<v Speaker 1>the rules of the match. So I assume they were
<v Speaker 1>going to talk to him about getting a match against
<v Speaker 1>Julia and Keana for next week. So b Fab believes
<v Speaker 1>the Street Profits alone to talk amongst themselves, Dawkins and Ford.
<v Speaker 1>They bury the hatchet, you know, they shake on it.
<v Speaker 1>Everything seems to be cool. Montes says, I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>go talk to Nick all this about getting us another
<v Speaker 1>shot at the tag team titles. Rinse repeat. How many
<v Speaker 1>times are we going to do this? How many times
<v Speaker 1>are we going to go back to the Street Profits
<v Speaker 1>and the Wyatts? The Wyatts and the Street Profits. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I know, you know, the Andrade departure, you know, kind
<v Speaker 1>of handicapped them in a way because it was very
<v Speaker 1>likely Androatee and Ray Phoenix would at least be next
<v Speaker 1>in line. I don't know if they would have won
<v Speaker 1>the titles, but they were going to be next in
<v Speaker 1>line at Clash in Paris for a tag team championship match.
<v Speaker 1>Androde being released ruined those plans. That's why they went
<v Speaker 1>back to the Street Profits, and so they're just continuing
<v Speaker 1>with the Street Profits and what was a once very
<v Speaker 1>hot tag team division on Friday Nights has stalled out.
<v Speaker 1>All the teams are still there, Diy, the Motor City
<v Speaker 1>machine Guns, the Wyatts, the Street Profits, Los Garza right
<v Speaker 1>pretty deadly, not so much because Kit Wilson or was
<v Speaker 1>it Elton p Elton Prince maybe has been hurt. All
<v Speaker 1>the teams are still there, but they have stalled out.
<v Speaker 1>Now it's just very cold. But he's going to go
<v Speaker 1>off to see if he could talk to all this
<v Speaker 1>about getting a title match. As soon as he leaves,
<v Speaker 1>Bo Dallas shows up behind Angelo Dawkins and he says
<v Speaker 1>Montes won't listen to him, but I will, so Montes
<v Speaker 1>immediately comes back over very angry. He shoves Bo Dallas
<v Speaker 1>up against the wall. Dallas says that they are lost
<v Speaker 1>souls who need the right path. Eric Rowan shows up
<v Speaker 1>and wax them with his hammer and both Street Profits
<v Speaker 1>end up on the floor. I mean, is anybody excited
<v Speaker 1>about this? Be honest, now, be honest, there's nothing interesting.
<v Speaker 1>There's nothing exciting about this. They have stalled out in
<v Speaker 1>this tag team division and they need to shake things
<v Speaker 1>back up again. I don't know in the near term.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how you do that. Obviously, they're going
<v Speaker 1>to play the story out with the Profits. It looked
<v Speaker 1>like maybe they were teasing a breakup and now they're
<v Speaker 1>back on the same page. Is Bo Dallas gonna get
<v Speaker 1>a Angelo Dawkins head yet? And maybe there will be
<v Speaker 1>a split with the Profits? I mean that, I guess
<v Speaker 1>is the most interesting aspect of this. Will they or
<v Speaker 1>won't they? I have no expectation that they're going to
<v Speaker 1>win the tag team titles back, and again I don't
<v Speaker 1>know who would be next in line, you know, for
<v Speaker 1>a shot at those titles. They haven't really built anybody
<v Speaker 1>else up as the obvious next challengers. If you're looking
<v Speaker 1>for a Babyface team, I mean, I suppose if you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna go with the Heels, I hate to even say this,
<v Speaker 1>I hate to even say this, but you could always
<v Speaker 1>go with the mft ease. I mean again, I don't.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even want to put that out in the atmosphere.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm just struggling here to see, like as far
<v Speaker 1>as a fresh pair of challengers, you know, who would
<v Speaker 1>be next to the line for the Wyatts, especially on
<v Speaker 1>the babyface side, that would be of any real interest.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm drawing a blank here in the back Our Truth,
<v Speaker 1>which trying to tell people how to watch Wressell Palooza
<v Speaker 1>on the ESPN app. It's confusing enough that they had
<v Speaker 1>they had to have Our Truth in two different segments
<v Speaker 1>on this show. Break it down, I mean, in like
<v Speaker 1>minute detail, where to go, what to click, what to push.
<v Speaker 1>If this is your carrier, if you have Verizon, if
<v Speaker 1>you have Direct TV, if you have you know, like
<v Speaker 1>he was breaking it down, trying to explain to people, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>here's how you can watch the show tomorrow. And so
<v Speaker 1>what he was doing here was explaining it to Los
<v Speaker 1>Garza because apparently they're idiots and they have no idea
<v Speaker 1>how to order this show. And even if you don't
<v Speaker 1>have cable, he said, you can still watch the show now.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, he never said that if you don't have
<v Speaker 1>cable and you don't have ESPN, you have to pay
<v Speaker 1>thirty bucks to see the show. He neglected that. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't mention that this was fucking lame. This was like,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, at least Truth got his job back,
<v Speaker 1>good for him, but this was fucking lame. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they didn't do themselves any favors on Monday, and then
<v Speaker 1>the lead up to this by constantly saying, Oh, we're
<v Speaker 1>going to ESPN. We're going to ESPN. So now you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have a bunch of people who think that it's
<v Speaker 1>actually airing on ESPN. It's not. It's not airing on ESPN.
<v Speaker 1>I've had people, you know, in the last week or
<v Speaker 1>so be like, is it on ESPN Plus. I'm like, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not actually, And evidently, like if you go to
<v Speaker 1>ESPN Plus or ESPN dot com, supposedly there's a link
<v Speaker 1>that will take you directly to where you need to go.
<v Speaker 1>But you could see why there would be some confusion
<v Speaker 1>about this. You know, it's actually technically ESPN Unlimited, that's
<v Speaker 1>the service within the app, that's the service that is
<v Speaker 1>airing Wrestle Palooza. But for weeks and weeks, Oh we're
<v Speaker 1>going to ESPN. We're gonna air on ESPN so what
<v Speaker 1>do you think most people are gonna think? And even still,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna have fans who are going tomorrow going to
<v Speaker 1>put on ESPN thinking they're gonna see John Cena and
<v Speaker 1>Brock Lesner at the top of the hour and they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna get some fucking football game and they're gonna be like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck, where's the wrestling show. There's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>some growing pains. I would actually love to know what
<v Speaker 1>the audience is going to be. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna get those numbers. I would love to know
<v Speaker 1>what the actual audience ends up being for this show
<v Speaker 1>and how much they're impacted by just general confusion about
<v Speaker 1>how to get the show. And also keep in mind
<v Speaker 1>that there's a lot of people who will not have
<v Speaker 1>access to it unless they pay because they still have
<v Speaker 1>not reached a deal with Comcast. They have not reached
<v Speaker 1>a deal with YouTube TV, which is what I use
<v Speaker 1>so because they had to rush into this, This was
<v Speaker 1>not supposed to start until April, until WrestleMania, but they
<v Speaker 1>had to get a jump on it. Meanwhile, they never
<v Speaker 1>reached those you know, the carriage agreements with some of
<v Speaker 1>the biggest services out there through which people get their television,
<v Speaker 1>and so until that's rectified, there's going to be people
<v Speaker 1>who are kind of left in the dark who may
<v Speaker 1>not want to pay the thirty bucks. And I don't
<v Speaker 1>see a deal happening with YouTube TV for I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>at some point it'll happen, but it doesn't feel like
<v Speaker 1>anything is imminent, at least not until the end of
<v Speaker 1>the year. Anyway, you could avoid all of that, I'm
<v Speaker 1>telling you, you could avoid all of that by using
<v Speaker 1>your Express VPN and tuning it into Netflix. Right, you
<v Speaker 1>just pick a Canadian server or UK or any of
<v Speaker 1>these places where the PL's still air internationally on Netflix.
<v Speaker 1>It'll be the easiest way to go. Save yourself a
<v Speaker 1>lot of trouble or money well worth it. Fraxium, they
<v Speaker 1>were in the ring for the next match, but they
<v Speaker 1>were attacked by bron Breaker and Bronson Reid, so they
<v Speaker 1>clear the ring and then Paul Hayman shows up to talk.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, was it me or did Hayman look
<v Speaker 1>like he lost a little bit of weight. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>He was looking better than he was the last time
<v Speaker 1>we saw him, but yes, Paul Hayman his back as
<v Speaker 1>we saw earlier in the show. This was his first
<v Speaker 1>appearance back on TV since Roman Range choked him out
<v Speaker 1>at what was it Summer Slim? It was Summer Slim? Right,
<v Speaker 1>Wait was Roman a Clash and Power? I don't even
<v Speaker 1>remember now it was Summer Slim, I think, I don't
<v Speaker 1>even remember. Remember he had the throat contusion, that was
<v Speaker 1>his injury. Well he's back now. Maybe it was the
<v Speaker 1>stripes that he was wearing. He had a stripe suit on.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it made him look a little more, a little slimmer.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, he was out to talk. He says, Phraxium
<v Speaker 1>reminds him of the USOS down and out. Then he
<v Speaker 1>speaks some Samoan to the USOS and he translates for himself.
<v Speaker 1>As he's talking. Fraser and Axiom they come flying. They're
<v Speaker 1>in opposite corners, and Breaker and Reid have no idea
<v Speaker 1>and they come flying off the ropes and they knock
<v Speaker 1>down Breaker and Reid knock them out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>They follow with their trademark rapid fire suicide dives to
<v Speaker 1>the outside. That first suicide dive from Axiom, where he
<v Speaker 1>almost went crashing into the announced desk, was very scary.
<v Speaker 1>Nick All this shows up and he makes the predictable
<v Speaker 1>tag team match and we head to a commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we never did find out who Axiom and
<v Speaker 1>Nathan Fraser were supposed to be wrestling. They came out
<v Speaker 1>for a fucking match against who. I don't know. We
<v Speaker 1>were never told. Maybe it was an open challenge and
<v Speaker 1>they were going to wait for somebody to come out.
<v Speaker 1>I guess we'll never know who they were supposed to wrestle.
<v Speaker 1>But after the break it was bron Breaker and Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid against Phraxium. This match was joined already in progress.
<v Speaker 1>Breaker was working over Axium in the corner. Axiom fended
<v Speaker 1>up momentarily fended him off, but he got thrown overhead
<v Speaker 1>instead with a backdrop. Breaker got a full head of speed.
<v Speaker 1>He turned Axiom inside out with a lariat. Reid entered
<v Speaker 1>the fray. He continued to pummel Axiom with a sent on.
<v Speaker 1>Breaker got the tag once more, and he suplexed Axiom
<v Speaker 1>before pulling down the straps. He attempted a spear, he
<v Speaker 1>got met with a calf kick instead. This allowed Fraser
<v Speaker 1>to get the tag. Fraser had red staggered with a
<v Speaker 1>drop kick, and he soared from the top with a
<v Speaker 1>frog splash. Reid kicked out at two. He avoided a
<v Speaker 1>moon salt before dropping Fraser with his death valley driver.
<v Speaker 1>He's been finishing eyes off with this move. He calls
<v Speaker 1>it the jagged edge, only here he didn't go for
<v Speaker 1>the pin. He hits the jagged edge and he heads
<v Speaker 1>up top. He's gonna go for a tsunami and he
<v Speaker 1>gets stopped temporarily by Axiom, and then comes the finish.
<v Speaker 1>Reid shoves Axiom off the robes and as he comes
<v Speaker 1>off the row, he shoves him off right into a
<v Speaker 1>spear from bron Breaker. It was a fucking thing of beauty.
<v Speaker 1>So he spears this man dead. That was an awesome
<v Speaker 1>little sequence there after, Reid then came off the top
<v Speaker 1>with a tsunami splash to Nathan Fraser and he got
<v Speaker 1>the pin to win it for the vision. So that
<v Speaker 1>was a great finish. And honestly, Phrasium were great opponents
<v Speaker 1>for these two. They basically got crushed. But as far
<v Speaker 1>as you know, two smaller guys to go in there,
<v Speaker 1>sell for their offense and just make these two look
<v Speaker 1>like monsters, you know, Phraxia and bump their asses off
<v Speaker 1>Phraxium perfect. So after the ring announcer Mark Nash announces
<v Speaker 1>Breaker and Read as the winners. Paul Hayman cuts him
<v Speaker 1>off and he says, I don't need John Cena's bitch
<v Speaker 1>to announce them as the winners. I'll do that myself.
<v Speaker 1>But then he was interrupted by the USSOS who were
<v Speaker 1>up on the Titan trom. Jimmy and Jay were already
<v Speaker 1>at the Gamebridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the site of Russell Palooza,
<v Speaker 1>and they said they were going to lock things down.
<v Speaker 1>They welcomed the vision to the USO Penitentiary, they did
<v Speaker 1>their cashphrase and that was the end of that. Today's
<v Speaker 1>episode is sponsored by Betterhelp. This is the perfect time
<v Speaker 1>for me to be talking about this because we just
<v Speaker 1>had the return of aj Lee in WWE, and she
<v Speaker 1>was in the ring on Raw last week talking about
<v Speaker 1>how helpful therapy has been for her. They even had
<v Speaker 1>ten thousand people in the stands chanting their uh pee
<v Speaker 1>their uh pee. That's a first. I've never heard anything
<v Speaker 1>like that before. But therapy does deserve to be cheered
<v Speaker 1>because and help you in so many different ways, and
<v Speaker 1>people may turn to some funny places for support, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's your barber, the cashier behind the counter and a
<v Speaker 1>random stranger in the bathroom. But not everyone is a therapist. Instead,
<v Speaker 1>get guidance from a credential therapist online with better Help,
<v Speaker 1>I'll do the same thing. I'll turn to friends sometimes
<v Speaker 1>for advice on how to solve those problems that life
<v Speaker 1>froze at you. But there's a difference between that and
<v Speaker 1>talking to a therapist. Therapists are clinically trained and credentialed,
<v Speaker 1>and they're far more equipped to help you tackle whatever
<v Speaker 1>may be troubling you and affecting your quality of life.
<v Speaker 1>Better Help has been helping people find the right match

<v Speaker 1>com slash solom Monster. Nya Jacks made her way down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring out for a promo that sound that
<v Speaker 1>you hear tens of thousands of televisions. Turning to a
<v Speaker 1>different channel, Nya took a shot at the Toledo crowd
<v Speaker 1>they were in Toledo, Ohio tonight. She said that she
<v Speaker 1>was sick of the SmackDown Women's division, claiming that they
<v Speaker 1>were the alpha females when she was the true alpha
<v Speaker 1>female of the division. Nya took credit for taking Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton out, which prevented her from showing up at the
<v Speaker 1>NXT homecoming show this past Tuesday. Nya then took a
<v Speaker 1>shot at Jade Cargill and said, you know, if I
<v Speaker 1>could have.
<v Speaker 2>Her looks, I would love to look like Jade Cargill
<v Speaker 2>because she looks like a comic book character come to life, right,
<v Speaker 2>Jade car Gill looks like a million bucks.
<v Speaker 1>But she says, Jade wishes she had Naya's in ring talent.
<v Speaker 1>That's great. That was great. So Nya said that she
<v Speaker 1>would annihilate any storm or any Tiffy time, any damn time.
<v Speaker 1>This brought out the WWE Women's champion, Tiffany Stratton for
<v Speaker 1>a rebuttal. Stratton said that people have had enough of
<v Speaker 1>Nya Jacks being in the women's division. It's not that
<v Speaker 1>I've had enough of Nya Jax being in the women's division.
<v Speaker 1>I've had enough of Naya Jacks being, you know, involved
<v Speaker 1>in some sort of rivalry with Tiffany Stratton and challenging
<v Speaker 1>for the women's championship. That's what I'm sick of. And
<v Speaker 1>since Nya and Jade were committed to acting so delusional,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany said that she was here to prove that she
<v Speaker 1>was the one true WWE champion. Stratton attempted to walk
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring she was going to confront Naya.
<v Speaker 1>She got stopped by referees who ran out in front
<v Speaker 1>of her. Jade Cargill's music hits and she makes her
<v Speaker 1>way out and she decked some of the security geeks
<v Speaker 1>on her way to the ring. She blew right past Tiffany.
<v Speaker 1>She was on her way to the ring, getting up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron. She's going to confront Naya. Before she
<v Speaker 1>could get into the ring, Nick Aldens comes out and
<v Speaker 1>he put a stop to things by threatening consequences if
<v Speaker 1>she continued to put her hands on people, and he
<v Speaker 1>announced that next week in Orlando on SmackDown, we're going
<v Speaker 1>to get a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship.
<v Speaker 1>It'll be Tiffany Stratton defending her title against Jade and
<v Speaker 1>Naya Jacks. So not Wressell Palooza. They're saving this match
<v Speaker 1>for TV next week. That match, let's talk about this.
<v Speaker 1>That match was originally scheduled for Wressell Polozo. Now what
<v Speaker 1>happened is, if you watched the show last week, Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>and Jade, Tiffany did that moon salt out of the
<v Speaker 1>ring and it looked like she smacked the back of
<v Speaker 1>her head badly on the floor outside. And when had happened,
<v Speaker 1>I thought to myself, that's a concussion right there. Now,
<v Speaker 1>It was never confirmed, but Tiffany was pulled from the
<v Speaker 1>NXT show this week. She was supposed to team up
<v Speaker 1>with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vecaire in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>She got pulled Lyra Valkyria took her place, and it
<v Speaker 1>was said some of the reports that she was not
<v Speaker 1>medically cleared. I don't know if she was concussed and
<v Speaker 1>that's why she was out, or if there was the
<v Speaker 1>fear that she might have been concussed, but I'm almost
<v Speaker 1>sure it would have been as a result of what
<v Speaker 1>we saw with that Moonsalt where she over rotated last week.
<v Speaker 1>So that's why she was not on NXT this week.
<v Speaker 1>But then I saw PWN earlier today reported that she's
<v Speaker 1>not injured. She is medically cleared. They just made a
<v Speaker 1>decision that they did not want to sort of overstack
<v Speaker 1>the show tomorrow, so they opted to hold off on
<v Speaker 1>the match for TV next week. Because this match was
<v Speaker 1>listed on the event T shirt for Russell Palooza, so
<v Speaker 1>it was originally scheduled for the PL but the idea
<v Speaker 1>that WWE didn't want to overstack the show tomorrow, since
<v Speaker 1>when is six matches overstacking a show? Ten matches. Twelve matches.
<v Speaker 1>We've seen some pay per views this year like that,
<v Speaker 1>that's overstacking the show. Going from five matches to six
<v Speaker 1>matches is not overstacking the show. Let's just be honest here.
<v Speaker 1>What they like to do on these shows is have
<v Speaker 1>these twenty five to thirty minute breaks in between matches, right,
<v Speaker 1>We get these long breaks and a bunch of ads,
<v Speaker 1>and so they like keeping it to five matches so
<v Speaker 1>they can fit all their shit in in between each
<v Speaker 1>of the matches. One match more would not have made
<v Speaker 1>that much of a difference, but it would have added
<v Speaker 1>another match to the show, and six matches on a
<v Speaker 1>show is not that much. That's actually, I think the
<v Speaker 1>perfect number for these shows. They don't have to overload them.
<v Speaker 1>But the idea that, oh, we had one more match,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be overstacked, what sense does that make since
<v Speaker 1>one is six matches overstacking, especially now you're asking people,
<v Speaker 1>and look, some people will get it for free, but
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of people out there who will not
<v Speaker 1>have access to the show unless they pay thirty bucks.
<v Speaker 1>Thirty bucks for a five match show, you can't give
<v Speaker 1>people the extra title match on that show. It's ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>So they absolutely could have done this match tomorrow, but
<v Speaker 1>they made the decision not too so they're gonna save
<v Speaker 1>it for next week because my god, five matches is
<v Speaker 1>just too much. We can't go beyond that. That's far
<v Speaker 1>too many matches. No, we need thirty minutes between each match.
<v Speaker 1>In the back, we got more shilling from our Truth
<v Speaker 1>for the ESPN app. This time he was showing the
<v Speaker 1>MotorCity machine Guns and Ray Phoenix how to download and
<v Speaker 1>use the app. Yes, all the geeks who did not
<v Speaker 1>make the card tomorrow, all you losers who are going
<v Speaker 1>to be sitting at home watching the show, let me
<v Speaker 1>show you how since you're too stupid to realize on
<v Speaker 1>your own how to do it. So there's Alex Shelley
<v Speaker 1>and Chris Sabin and ray Phoenix is like he's fake
<v Speaker 1>scrolling on his phone. He's in the app store, and
<v Speaker 1>Killings is trying to explain to them, you go here,
<v Speaker 1>you go to the stream, dot this, and you hit
<v Speaker 1>this button and you do this, and you log in
<v Speaker 1>with your credentials and really trying to hammer home you
<v Speaker 1>know how to get this show. Then we got some
<v Speaker 1>comedy at the very end of this from Chris Saban,
<v Speaker 1>who told Truth to watch the next season of The
<v Speaker 1>Great British Baking Championship, the Great Biddish Baking Championship. He again,
<v Speaker 1>I should point out our truth neglected to mention that
<v Speaker 1>this is for some people anyway, a thirty dollars price
<v Speaker 1>dag on this show. He didn't mention that bar Sammy's
<v Speaker 1>ain was out. Next another US Title Open Challenge match.
<v Speaker 1>This time it was against Carmelo Hayes, who called his
<v Speaker 1>shot last week. He said, I got next, so we
<v Speaker 1>knew about this already. Going back to last week, speaking
<v Speaker 1>of twenty five minutes between matches, it had been twenty
<v Speaker 1>five minutes since the previous match. Miz was on commentary,
<v Speaker 1>as I said, for the entire show here, and he
<v Speaker 1>was very excited for his boy Mellow getting a title shot.
<v Speaker 1>On the apron early Sammy looked like he was going
<v Speaker 1>for something big. Hayes stunned him with a guillotine leg
<v Speaker 1>drop as they went into a commercial. So the show
<v Speaker 1>came back. Hayes had the upper hand. Sammy fought back
<v Speaker 1>with a clothesline. He followed that up with an axe
<v Speaker 1>handle from the middle rope. Sammy dragged Hayes to the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He started teeing off on him with repeated punches to
<v Speaker 1>the face, much to the chagrin of miz on commentary,
<v Speaker 1>who was pretty insufferable. I will say during parts of
<v Speaker 1>this match, you know he was rooting for Carmelo. He
<v Speaker 1>was getting into the near falls, but it was just
<v Speaker 1>awful to listen to. Zayin landed a tornado DDT could
<v Speaker 1>not pick up the wind with it. Zayn headed up top.
<v Speaker 1>Hayes recovered and avoided what he was going for. Mello,
<v Speaker 1>though could not avoid a Mitchinoku driver, which got another
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Hayes caught Sammy on the button with a
<v Speaker 1>big knee to the face, and then he headed up
<v Speaker 1>top for a huge frog splash, but Sammy got his
<v Speaker 1>knees up at the very last second, which sent Hayes
<v Speaker 1>scurrying to the corner and right into the crosshairs of
<v Speaker 1>a Halluva kick. Hayes, though, intercepted Sammy with a super
<v Speaker 1>kick and both men were down heading into another commercial break.
<v Speaker 1>So both men were down for a while. They pull
<v Speaker 1>themselves back up. Hayes hits a La mistica facebuster for two.
<v Speaker 1>They start trading strikes and then Sammy hits a lagger
<v Speaker 1>bomb for two of his own. Both men hit the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>We got a double clothesline spot both men were down.
<v Speaker 1>Hayes goes up top for a frog splash, this time
<v Speaker 1>he hits it only for a near fall. Hayes tries
<v Speaker 1>a leaping codebreaker, but Sammy holds onto him and blocks
<v Speaker 1>it blocks him from completing the move. Sammy then tries
<v Speaker 1>a blue thunderbomb. Hayes counters into the first forty eight
<v Speaker 1>for a near fall. Hayes lifts Sammy up for a cutter,
<v Speaker 1>followed by a springboard neck breaker. Sammy managed to avoid
<v Speaker 1>nothing but net and he turned that into a blue
<v Speaker 1>thunderbomb but the wind. He won with the Blue Thunderbomb
<v Speaker 1>and retains the US Championship. A rare Hasian where Sammy's
<v Speaker 1>ain't actually wins a match with the blue Thunderbomb, which
<v Speaker 1>is one of my favorite moves, and I would like
<v Speaker 1>to see that happen more often. He doesn't have to
<v Speaker 1>win every match with it. It's kind of like Bronson Reid.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he's been using the Jagged Edge on occasion
<v Speaker 1>now as like one of his new finishing moves and
<v Speaker 1>that's fine. Like you don't have to use the tsunami
<v Speaker 1>in every match, It's nice to have a little bit
<v Speaker 1>of variety in your signature. Moves. Same thing here, like
<v Speaker 1>Sammy wins most of his matches with the Halluva kick,
<v Speaker 1>but every now and then throw that blue thunderbomb out
<v Speaker 1>there and let him win with it. I love it.
<v Speaker 1>I'd love to see more of it. But this was
<v Speaker 1>another very good match here from the Samy's Ain Open Challenge.
<v Speaker 1>That's three in a row. He had a great match
<v Speaker 1>with John Cena. Shit he finish, but he had a
<v Speaker 1>great match with John Cena. He had an excellent match
<v Speaker 1>last week with Ray Phoenix, which has been the best
<v Speaker 1>of the bunch so far, and then another very strong
<v Speaker 1>match here on this show with Carmelo Hayes, who looked good.
<v Speaker 1>Was a good outing for Hayes, even though he lost.
<v Speaker 1>The open challenges have truly become the highlight of this show.
<v Speaker 1>If there is anything must see, and there's very little
<v Speaker 1>these days that is must see about the weekly WWE shows,
<v Speaker 1>like next to nothing. If we're being honest as far
<v Speaker 1>as SmackDown goes, this is the closest thing to must
<v Speaker 1>see on this show. Every week and it's been three
<v Speaker 1>weeks so far, but these matches are consistently the highlight
<v Speaker 1>of these shows. This has been tremendous so far. Now,
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes lost, right, he called his shot and he lost,
<v Speaker 1>but he still has his story with the Miz that
<v Speaker 1>they have been playing up for weeks now, which is
<v Speaker 1>one of the more consistent stories on this show. One
<v Speaker 1>would assume it's leading to a split with him and
<v Speaker 1>Miz in the not so distant future. My guess is
<v Speaker 1>that Hayes ends up a babyface out of it, and
<v Speaker 1>the hope then is that okay when that split happens,
<v Speaker 1>and really whether he's a heel or a babyface coming
<v Speaker 1>out of it once that split happens, do they have
<v Speaker 1>something lined up for Carmelo Hayes or is this all
<v Speaker 1>for nothing? You know, he had that best of seven
<v Speaker 1>series for the US title last year with Andrade and
<v Speaker 1>same thing there. That was the highlight of SmackDown right
<v Speaker 1>consistently the best thing on the show every week, and
<v Speaker 1>neither one of them won the US Championship out of
<v Speaker 1>it in the end, but there was nothing lined up
<v Speaker 1>for them when it was over. It was like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>the series is over and now it's like to the
<v Speaker 1>back burner with both of you. The key is having
<v Speaker 1>something set up for him coming out of this, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and the story with them is I can only hope
<v Speaker 1>that that's the case. Do Triple H and Roode Doug
<v Speaker 1>have something in mind here, something bigger, something greater in
<v Speaker 1>mind for Carmelo Hayes. I have my doubts. I'm skeptical,
<v Speaker 1>but I sure hope they do. It's got to be
<v Speaker 1>leading somewhere for him. He's been getting consistent television ty.
<v Speaker 1>He was even on NXT this week teaming with Trick Williams.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he's on the show pretty much every week.
<v Speaker 1>He had this great match tonight. So this is all good,
<v Speaker 1>this is it's all positive momentum here. But you know,
<v Speaker 1>excuse me if I'm skeptical of where this momentum ultimately
<v Speaker 1>is going to lead. You know, That's what I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>to the future and wondering where does he fit in
<v Speaker 1>the pecking order here on this show. I'm looking at
<v Speaker 1>someone like Jacob Fatu, who has become MIA. He's wrestling
<v Speaker 1>dark matches and doing nothing on TV, and I'm left
<v Speaker 1>wondering why the show is suffering on most weeks. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we need to see more of these people, not less.
<v Speaker 1>Kit Wilson, who has not been seen on TV in months,
<v Speaker 1>was backstage randomly talking to Nick Aldis about hyper masculinity,
<v Speaker 1>and at that moment, Damian Priest walks in. He's very
<v Speaker 1>hyper mad. He's very angry about what Alistair Black did
<v Speaker 1>to him last week. Wilson got upset at priests demands
<v Speaker 1>because he's demanding a match with Alistair Black, and Wilson
<v Speaker 1>gets upset about this. He's telling all this, this is
<v Speaker 1>the classic case of toxic masculinity, and so he ends
<v Speaker 1>up being thrown through a wall into the adjacent room.
<v Speaker 1>What shitty construction they have backstage at these WWE shows.
<v Speaker 1>If I'm Kit Wilson, I'm filing a lawsuit unsafe work environment.
<v Speaker 1>How thin are these walls that you just throw the
<v Speaker 1>guy right through it? And Nick all this, I love
<v Speaker 1>it too. He pulls out his cell phone and doesn't
<v Speaker 1>waste a second. Like, he pulls out his cell phone
<v Speaker 1>and apparently it was already on and he's like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna need medical, tucks his phone away. Who's he talking to?
<v Speaker 1>I've always wondered who is he talking to. One thing
<v Speaker 1>we know when it comes to all this and Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pearson most weeks is that they don't really plan ahead
<v Speaker 1>for these shows. Many weeks we show up here, we
<v Speaker 1>watch these shows. Matches are not made. They're made on
<v Speaker 1>the spot. Apparently there's no card. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>these people do during the course of the week. I
<v Speaker 1>mean that could be a whole reality series, like a
<v Speaker 1>vlog all by itself, like following the GM throughout the week.
<v Speaker 1>I would love to know what they do. How do
<v Speaker 1>they plan for these shows? They don't do a very
<v Speaker 1>good job. Now they aired this. They did a good
<v Speaker 1>job on this. They aired the second half of the
<v Speaker 1>retrospective for John Cena and Brock Lesni We got part
<v Speaker 1>one last week, which covered their early days in Ohio
<v Speaker 1>Valley Wrestling, their respective debuts on SmackDown in two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and two, their Backlash title match in two thousand and three,
<v Speaker 1>so this was part two. They covered Lesner's return to
<v Speaker 1>the company in twenty twelve, their Extreme Rules match, which
<v Speaker 1>I maintained to this day Lesners should not have lost.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that finished when I covered it at the
<v Speaker 1>time on the sound though that finished pissed me off
<v Speaker 1>right up through their Summer Slid match in twenty fourteen,
<v Speaker 1>which was just a complete destruction, you know, just a
<v Speaker 1>total squash. So they covered all of that, and now
<v Speaker 1>we come to what should be their final match. It
<v Speaker 1>wrestled Palloza tomorrow, can it live up to the Extreme
<v Speaker 1>Rules match from twenty twelve? That match was a spectacle
<v Speaker 1>in every sense of the word. I may not have
<v Speaker 1>liked the finish, but it was one of the best
<v Speaker 1>WWE matches of the entire year. It was just so unique,
<v Speaker 1>especially at that time, you just did not see matches
<v Speaker 1>like that in WWE. It just of course the blood him,
<v Speaker 1>you know, busting scene, open hard way. You just didn't
<v Speaker 1>see that shit back then. Then you look at their
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam match in twenty fourteen, which was unique in
<v Speaker 1>a completely different way. You did not see a top star,
<v Speaker 1>the biggest star in the company squashed in a pay
<v Speaker 1>per view main event that way. Each each of those
<v Speaker 1>times they found something to they found a way to
<v Speaker 1>do the match that made it feel unique, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>just wondering how they can do that tomorrow to differentiate
<v Speaker 1>it from all the previous matches that these two have had.
<v Speaker 1>What can they do maybe that they haven't done before.
<v Speaker 1>You know what would be shocking if Brock went in
<v Speaker 1>there and actually wrestled the way that he used to
<v Speaker 1>wrestle it during his first run, where he knew more
<v Speaker 1>than j justesue plexes. But I feel like that version
<v Speaker 1>of Brock Lesnar died a long time ago. Also, don't
<v Speaker 1>forget they were part of one of the best matches
<v Speaker 1>in twenty fifteen WWE, that Triple Threat match at the
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble with seth Rawlins, which was a tremendous match.
<v Speaker 1>So they've had some really good matches before. This is
<v Speaker 1>now twenty twenty five. You know they're older. Obviously Brock
<v Speaker 1>is still in great shape, but you know they're older.
<v Speaker 1>Seen it is at the very end of his run,
<v Speaker 1>I mean literally the final matches of his career here,
<v Speaker 1>but you saw the output from him last month with
<v Speaker 1>Cody at Summerslim, with Logan Poullock clash in Paris. With
<v Speaker 1>the right opponent, John Cena can go out there and
<v Speaker 1>can have a banger match, and I think he can
<v Speaker 1>do the same with Brock. I just I'm very curious
<v Speaker 1>to see how they structure this match, how long does
<v Speaker 1>the match go Is it really in and out for Brock?
<v Speaker 1>Four minutes? Are they going to have a ten to
<v Speaker 1>twelve match, fifteen minute match? I don't know. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>John Cena, with the right opponent can still go out
<v Speaker 1>there and have a great match at this stage of
<v Speaker 1>the game. Is Brock the right opponent for him? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. Won't have to wait very long since they're
<v Speaker 1>opening the show tomorrow. We got a Solo Sekoa vignette
<v Speaker 1>as he showed appreciation for Tongaaloa, who was the only
<v Speaker 1>member of the MFTs who was standing behind him here
<v Speaker 1>in this segment. Showing appreciation for the Great Tonga, Loa
<v Speaker 1>said that he's been showing loyalty to Solo since day one.
<v Speaker 1>He said that he owed it to Tongaloa to be
<v Speaker 1>a champion and that his loyalty would be rewarded as
<v Speaker 1>long as Tonga was part of his family tree. See
<v Speaker 1>the Great Tangaloa loyal to a fault. I would imagine
<v Speaker 1>that Tama Tonga should be back soon. I don't recall
<v Speaker 1>the nature of the injury that he sustained. It was
<v Speaker 1>many many months ago. He could very well be on
<v Speaker 1>his way back soon. I haven't heard anything said about him.
<v Speaker 1>They closed the show with the contract signing with Drew
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre and Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship match of
<v Speaker 1>Russell Palooza. Nick Alldis was in the ring to first
<v Speaker 1>introduced McIntyre. Before he could speak, Cody's music hit and
<v Speaker 1>the champion came down to the ring. So Drew was sitting,
<v Speaker 1>Cody was standing, and Cody asked him, Drew, do you
<v Speaker 1>know what happened on this day? Fifteen years ago? We
<v Speaker 1>won the tag team Championships? And do you know who
<v Speaker 1>was backstage talking about that? Nobody? He says. The fans
<v Speaker 1>don't even know all the lore. Sometimes they just pay
<v Speaker 1>their money to see two guys fight. I guess that's
<v Speaker 1>how they're justifying the Cina Lesnar match tomorrow. Says he
<v Speaker 1>knows who's In the past, Drew has won a Royal Rumble,
<v Speaker 1>He's been a WWE Champion, he slayed the Beast, He's
<v Speaker 1>two hundred and eighty pounds, He's the Scottish Warrior. But
<v Speaker 1>lately the Scottish Warrior has just been a keyboard warrior.
<v Speaker 1>So go ahead, pull your phone out, let's go viral.
<v Speaker 1>Make a post on social media, get one over on me,
<v Speaker 1>because it's the last time you're going to get one
<v Speaker 1>over on me. And Drew did. He pulled his phone out,
<v Speaker 1>he tweeted something. He held his phone up and they
<v Speaker 1>zoomed in on what he tweeted, and he tweeted, thank you, Cody,
<v Speaker 1>and Cody was a bit confused by this. Andrew said, no,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, Cody. All he wanted was a shot at
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Championship with that anybody getting involved, and without
<v Speaker 1>anybody screwing him over. This guy still has PTSD from
<v Speaker 1>all the times he got fucked over by the bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>But this is all he wanted. He wanted a title
<v Speaker 1>shot and a fair fight. Cody doesn't even think about
<v Speaker 1>himself anymore. He thinks about what's best for the company.
<v Speaker 1>He's the corporate champion. He kicked Cody's head. And by
<v Speaker 1>the way, this point here that he made is a
<v Speaker 1>very valid one. He says, I kicked your head through
<v Speaker 1>the announced desk. I put you on the shelf for
<v Speaker 1>five weeks. You were gone. And Cody comes back and
<v Speaker 1>instead of stomping him, he's out here to talk him
<v Speaker 1>to death. That's I have had this problem before with
<v Speaker 1>people when they do like an injury angle. Uh, and
<v Speaker 1>then the person comes back and if they're not all
<v Speaker 1>fired up ready to murder someone, it's like, what are
<v Speaker 1>we doing here? You're right, Cody is the champion, he's
<v Speaker 1>the guy, and he got injured and he was put
<v Speaker 1>out for over a month. When he came back, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that first time he did like a run in.
<v Speaker 1>But he's coming out here, he's all smiles. Where's that
<v Speaker 1>sense of you know what? You took five weeks away
<v Speaker 1>from me after I had just won my championship back
<v Speaker 1>you put me on the shelf. I'm gonna fuck you up.
<v Speaker 1>That's not the version of Cody Roads that we got tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We had Cody coming out here and cutting a proper promo.
<v Speaker 1>So that's a fair point that Drew was making here.
<v Speaker 1>Say he says, they being the fans, are going to
<v Speaker 1>turn on you because you're the flavor of the month,
<v Speaker 1>and then Cody is gonna say Drew was right. Cody said.
<v Speaker 1>If Drew is wrong, his legacy then becomes the man
<v Speaker 1>who lost to Cody on their debut ESPN ple E
<v Speaker 1>for the WWE Undisputed Shit. Let's talk about a mouthful here.
<v Speaker 1>He definitely went into corporate Cody mode here. Oh if
<v Speaker 1>you if you lose to me, you're gonna be the
<v Speaker 1>guy who lost to me. On the ESPN ple E
<v Speaker 1>debut for the Undisputed WWE Championship presented by Netflix, the
<v Speaker 1>fuck up, dude, I want Drew to win the title tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>Fuck it. Put the title on Drew. Pick this shit
<v Speaker 1>up and just put the title on Drew. I officially,
<v Speaker 1>I think I've turned on Cody here in this promo.
<v Speaker 1>I think Drew was right. He's way too corporate for
<v Speaker 1>my liking. But with that, Cody signed the contract and
<v Speaker 1>then Drew signed the contract and then he delivered a
<v Speaker 1>Glasgow kiss to Cody, and Cody rolled out to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre followed him started kicking his ass. He was setting
<v Speaker 1>up for another Claymore through the announced desk. Cody was
<v Speaker 1>in the exact right position for him to do what
<v Speaker 1>he did to him all those weeks ago, and Drew hesitated.
<v Speaker 1>He was like, no, no, he had second thoughts about it.
<v Speaker 1>He said, I'm not going to kick your head through
<v Speaker 1>the table again. This match is happening tomorrow, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>taking that thing. That means the most to you, the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Championship, and with that, Drew walked off. He said,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to screw it up for myself. As
<v Speaker 1>he's walking away, though, Cody comes flying out of the
<v Speaker 1>ring with a suicide dive and the two of them
<v Speaker 1>brawled and the head of separated by officials. Drew, though,
<v Speaker 1>managed to break free. He delivered a running boot right
<v Speaker 1>to the face and it was Cody on the ground
<v Speaker 1>with Drew telling him to sleep with the title because
<v Speaker 1>it's the last time you're going to have it for
<v Speaker 1>a long time. And that's how the show went off
<v Speaker 1>the air. Pretty paint by number stuff here. As far
<v Speaker 1>as a contract signing segment is concerned, we just had
<v Speaker 1>a contract signing actually on Dynamite on Wednesday with Kyle
<v Speaker 1>Fletcher and Hangman Page. And again two very similar segments here.
<v Speaker 1>This one we had physicality that we didn't get in
<v Speaker 1>that one, but you know, we had these two segments
<v Speaker 1>within forty eight hours of each other. I had to
<v Speaker 1>mention that this is Cody's first title defense since winning
<v Speaker 1>the championship back at Summerslim. It is hard for me
<v Speaker 1>to conceive of him losing the championship this early. I
<v Speaker 1>would be in favor of it, though, I think that
<v Speaker 1>if this match is closing the show, they better have
<v Speaker 1>something big planned right their first big espn Ple. They're
<v Speaker 1>not closing with Lesner and Sina, Fine, something has to
<v Speaker 1>happen here to really shake things up. This product could
<v Speaker 1>use a shakeup of some kind, and so I think
<v Speaker 1>what could they do here that truly would be a shakeup? Right,
<v Speaker 1>or something that would catch people off guard. I think
<v Speaker 1>there are a lot of people who don't expect Cody
<v Speaker 1>to lose the championship. To him, losing the championship would
<v Speaker 1>be one thing. But if he loses the championship, how
<v Speaker 1>does he lose the championship? Right? He's not gonna lose clean?
<v Speaker 1>Is that where Randy Orton comes into play? Or if
<v Speaker 1>Cody doesn't lose the championship, Randy Orton can still get involved.
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton has beef with Drew, he may well have
<v Speaker 1>beef with Cody as well. Drew was the one a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks ago who I think was telling Randy about
<v Speaker 1>Cody not giving a shit about him. Maybe he talked
<v Speaker 1>it into his head. I don't If Duo doesn't win
<v Speaker 1>the title, I don't see it as one and done right.
<v Speaker 1>You got Crown Jewel coming up next month. But then
<v Speaker 1>I see that they're probably doing the Champion versus Champion matches.
<v Speaker 1>It was pointed out to me there was in the
<v Speaker 1>press release for Crown Jewel. The language in there indicates
<v Speaker 1>that they're going back to doing these champion versus Champion,
<v Speaker 1>brand versus brand matches, which means we're probably looking at
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes and Seth rawlins at Crown Jewel. I can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine Drew wins the belt. We get Drew and Seth.
<v Speaker 1>So all signs point to Cody keeping the title. But
<v Speaker 1>the question is, what's the big angle. What's the big
<v Speaker 1>maybe shocking twist If we get one at the end
<v Speaker 1>of this show, and it to me, it would be
<v Speaker 1>a Randy Orton heel turn. You know, people talking about
<v Speaker 1>The Rock is gonna you know, he's gonna take Drew's soul.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to hear about this shit. Fuck that,
<v Speaker 1>fuck the Rock, I don't I don't care about that.
<v Speaker 1>We've been been down this road before enough with the Rock.
<v Speaker 1>The Rock has a movie come out in a few weeks.
<v Speaker 1>He's going to try to win an oscar. He doesn't
<v Speaker 1>give a shit about this. Randy Orton being involved in
<v Speaker 1>some way makes sense. Randy Orton going heel easily could
<v Speaker 1>see that happening, and that would be a big shocking
<v Speaker 1>maybe not so shocking, but it would be a big
<v Speaker 1>twist there that they could do at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the show. That's what I keep coming back to as
<v Speaker 1>far as what what realistically could they do if they
<v Speaker 1>were going to shoot some big angle at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show, that would be it. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>you can't rule out something like Rock just because it
<v Speaker 1>is the big ESPN debut and maybe they want to
<v Speaker 1>make a big splash. But again, he's got other shit
<v Speaker 1>going on. People forget about that. You know. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to see him or someone else make a one
<v Speaker 1>time appearance just for the sake of making an appearance
<v Speaker 1>unless there's a real story to be told there. So
<v Speaker 1>you know, I don't want to think about that. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to hear about that. Focus on the here
<v Speaker 1>and now and who you have available and coming up
<v Speaker 1>with a compelling story that can then take you into
<v Speaker 1>television next week and take you on into Crown Jewel.
<v Speaker 1>I don't like this whole Champion versus championshit they do.
<v Speaker 1>To me, it's just like going back to the Survivor
<v Speaker 1>series format from years ago and they did brand warfare,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and that got old, didn't mean anything. But
<v Speaker 1>if that's what they're gonna do, then to me, that
<v Speaker 1>gives away the finish here because I just don't see
<v Speaker 1>Cody losing that championship. I just I just don't see it.
<v Speaker 1>Should be a good match, though, but they better have
<v Speaker 1>more than just a good match if they're going to
<v Speaker 1>close the show with it, they have to have something,
<v Speaker 1>some big hook to take you into TV next week.
<v Speaker 1>For this show, and this being their big debut on ESPN,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they got something planned, whether it's for this
<v Speaker 1>match or something else on the show, but it would
<v Speaker 1>seem to point to something happening at the end of
<v Speaker 1>this match. We'll find out what that is. But the
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Palooza card is still a five match card. Here's
<v Speaker 1>what it looks like. Brock Lesnar against John Cena. We
<v Speaker 1>have aj Lee and CM Punk taking on Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>and Becky Lynch. We have Jimmy and Back together the
<v Speaker 1>usso's taking on bron Breaker and Bronson Reid. We have
<v Speaker 1>the Women's World Championship to be decided. We are guaranteed
<v Speaker 1>to have a new champion on this show. It will
<v Speaker 1>either be EO Sky or Stephanie Vicaire and if we're
<v Speaker 1>being honest, we win either way. Stephanie would be a
<v Speaker 1>great champion. EO would be a great champion. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's premature to put that title on Stephanie. I would
<v Speaker 1>go with EO. I'm sticking with EO for the win,
<v Speaker 1>and then Cody and Drew for the WWE Championship in
<v Speaker 1>the main event. Those are your five matches on Wressell Palooza,
<v Speaker 1>and yes, I will be covering Wressell Palooza live. I'll
<v Speaker 1>be watching All Out until Wressell Palooza starts, and then
<v Speaker 1>we'll transition over to that live on YouTube tomorrow night
<v Speaker 1>for Wressell Palooza and then the sound off on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>I will include my All Out review in the podcast
<v Speaker 1>episode nine thirty. So that is the plan for this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>so just be aware. Let's head over to Twitter. What
<v Speaker 1>did you think the cesspool that is Twitter? What did
<v Speaker 1>you think of the final SmackDown before Wressell Palooza thirty
<v Speaker 1>six point two percent thumbs up, thirty four point six
<v Speaker 1>percent thumbs in the middle, and twenty nine point three
<v Speaker 1>percent thumbs down. That's it's almost a dead heat. That's
<v Speaker 1>almost a dead heat. Look at that. Look at that
<v Speaker 1>thumbs up and thumbs in the middle. Very divided opinion
<v Speaker 1>on this show here tonight. Let's get into your super chats.
<v Speaker 1>We're uh six out of ten on the goal. Where
<v Speaker 1>are we on the likes four to twenty? All right,
<v Speaker 1>so we're guaranteed at least one round to be the
<v Speaker 1>booker if we get we get that goal in the
<v Speaker 1>in the chat, we'll do a double round, but we're
<v Speaker 1>guaranteed at least one, so that's good. It's more than
<v Speaker 1>I could say for for Wednesday night. I owe my
<v Speaker 1>how cold it has gotten. Got a little chili on Wednesdays,
<v Speaker 1>to say the least, the last few weeks. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what else to say about that. But it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a big weekend of wrestling, very busy, so I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate all the support. It's gonna be very tiring weekend,
<v Speaker 1>but hopefully it'll be a fun one. It would be
<v Speaker 1>a good chance for me to take my mind off
<v Speaker 1>life for a few hours. Let's start with Victor. Victor
<v Speaker 1>with a dollar ninety nine, what WWE wrestlers have the
<v Speaker 1>best rogues galleries? I don't follow. What are you asking me, Victor?
<v Speaker 1>I love you, but you're gonna have to specify it.
<v Speaker 1>He says, Also, how would you rank every decade of
<v Speaker 1>WWE creative? I don't know him as far as ranking them.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I grew up on the Golden Era, and
<v Speaker 1>the stories back then were a lot simpler, but they
<v Speaker 1>some of the best stories. When you look at the
<v Speaker 1>Megapower storyline, some of the best stories came from that era.
<v Speaker 1>You know. It came from the eighties, eighties into the
<v Speaker 1>early nineties. There was a lot of good stuff in
<v Speaker 1>the nineties as well, So I'm partial to that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>certainly not putting the twenty tens anywhere near the top
<v Speaker 1>of that list. That I'm not doing. So, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know how they all rank, but I will tell you
<v Speaker 1>that I will lean towards the eighties and nineties period
<v Speaker 1>over the more recent ones. I know people talk about
<v Speaker 1>this being this is the cinema era, right cinema, and
<v Speaker 1>they had the Bloodline story and the Bloodline story for
<v Speaker 1>a while, there was quite great. But when you get
<v Speaker 1>beyond the bloodline stuff, and I try to think of
<v Speaker 1>like some of the greatest stories, the greatest creative stories
<v Speaker 1>of the last you know, five or six years. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's kind of light. You know. Group of villains I
<v Speaker 1>see best rivals or villains is what? Well? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>John Cena's had a pretty good bro He's had a
<v Speaker 1>pretty good group of villains I think that he's worked
<v Speaker 1>with over the years, right from Edge to Punk to Lesnar.
<v Speaker 1>Does that count? Today's episode is sponsored by Factor. The
<v Speaker 1>unofficial end of summer is here. No more swimming pools,
<v Speaker 1>no more barbecues, which is good actually because I was
<v Speaker 1>eating way too many burgers and hunt dogs. This is

<v Speaker 1>take a peek at the menu for some of their
<v Speaker 1>upcoming meals, you'll see what I mean. Roasted garlic chicken.
<v Speaker 1>The roasted garlic butter salmon is there. If you're looking

<v Speaker 1>with code and qualifying auto renewing subscription purchase Sidrow as
<v Speaker 1>I guess Brox sent Corey to his graves. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>Yes he did Sidrow with the jokes. He sent Corey
<v Speaker 1>to his graves. Terrible dried chicken, says spoiler. Brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>wins Lawless Victory Fatality on John Cena Holiday one ninety
<v Speaker 1>seven with Cody versus Drew is the main event for
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view. Could this mean that Drew wins
<v Speaker 1>the title tomorrow or perhaps Drew could win it at
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel. I think they'll do a couple of matches
<v Speaker 1>between them. They should do a couple of matches, but
<v Speaker 1>the belief is that they're doing the champion against Champion
<v Speaker 1>Nonsense at Crown Jewel, so that doesn't seem very likely.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says, I can't wait to watch aw Tailgate
<v Speaker 1>Brawl before All Out. I'm excited for that eight tag
<v Speaker 1>tornado match with the women. I can't tell if you're
<v Speaker 1>being sarcastic or not. We get so many multi person matches.
<v Speaker 1>It's just it's just ludicrous, it really is. Does this
<v Speaker 1>mean Corey can wrestle? Yes, Corey has been medically cleared
<v Speaker 1>for a few years now. It's like there were people
<v Speaker 1>who didn't think Nigel McGinnis was medically clear, but he
<v Speaker 1>was medically clear for years until one day, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he was able to get back in the ring. So
<v Speaker 1>who's to say that Corey Graves doesn't get back in
<v Speaker 1>the ring for a match one day. I mean, at
<v Speaker 1>one point I thought they were building to a like
<v Speaker 1>an announcer match where we were going to get Corey
<v Speaker 1>against Pat McAfee, and then it never happened. So yes,
<v Speaker 1>if Corey wanted to wrestle, he could wrestle. Boots with
<v Speaker 1>the fifteen bucks. What's going on, Boots? It may be
<v Speaker 1>the Friday Night booze talking, but I think the GWO
<v Speaker 1>needs a super secret handshake like the Street prop. It's
<v Speaker 1>just no backflips, that's all I ask we in the
<v Speaker 1>chat can workshop this later. I'm gonna leave that to you.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna make Boots the leader on that and you
<v Speaker 1>can work it out. You come up with whatever secret
<v Speaker 1>handshake you want. That's fine with me, exclusively for our
<v Speaker 1>channel members. Holliday says, I would like to see Ray
<v Speaker 1>Maisterio face John Cena in a match on Raw and
<v Speaker 1>win to avenge his WWE title loss in twenty eleven.
<v Speaker 1>Ray held the title for two hours before dropping it
<v Speaker 1>to Sena on a Raw episode. Oh I remember, and
<v Speaker 1>I would not hold my breath waiting for that match
<v Speaker 1>because it ain't gonna happen. The real CS with the
<v Speaker 1>nine ninety nine and Michael Cole is literally the worst
<v Speaker 1>broad cast. Part he said broad partner. I thought that's it.
<v Speaker 1>He's the worst broad Michael Cole is just the worst
<v Speaker 1>broad in history. This is the second time that his partner,
<v Speaker 1>I think, he says this year his partner had to
<v Speaker 1>save him and got their ass kicked for it. Oh right, McAfee,
<v Speaker 1>that's right, Well that was last year. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to be his partner. That's right, Pat McAfee got killed
<v Speaker 1>by Gunther Prince Vegeta. I've got an id in mind
<v Speaker 1>for the Lessner's scene to finish tomorrow scene has got
<v Speaker 1>Brock backed into the corner and Brock asks for England
<v Speaker 1>John and Sina says no for me, and a giant
<v Speaker 1>satellite falls on Brock. What movie did I not see?
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that's a movie reference. What movie did I
<v Speaker 1>not see that? I'm not getting here with this reference?
<v Speaker 1>Giant satellite falls on Brock. I mean that sounds like
<v Speaker 1>a final destination movie to me. Mactubb. Why isn't Rock
<v Speaker 1>ranked with Hogan Austin despite his unmatched ninety nine toh
<v Speaker 1>one peak and adaptability across four decades, because he didn't
<v Speaker 1>usher in an era like those two guys did. That's why,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, some people might list him. He's certainly in
<v Speaker 1>that conversation, but he is not the face of an era.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't usher in an era in the way that
<v Speaker 1>those two men did. That's the biggest difference. And Rock
<v Speaker 1>has had more longevity than Austin did. Neither one of
<v Speaker 1>them had the longevity that Hogan did. But that's the
<v Speaker 1>biggest difference. He says, also, Rock seventeen to eighteen against
<v Speaker 1>HBK twenty five to twenty six better WrestleMania run. I
<v Speaker 1>think I gotta go Rock on that, and I would
<v Speaker 1>say Rock just because of the variety there. You know,
<v Speaker 1>with Sean he had those great matches with Undertaker. Twenty
<v Speaker 1>five was better than twenty six, but it was the
<v Speaker 1>same guy. Rock did it with two different opponents, two
<v Speaker 1>very different opponents who just so happened to be two
<v Speaker 1>of the biggest names in the history of the business,
<v Speaker 1>and he beat them both. Rock is the only person
<v Speaker 1>in history who can say that he has beaten John Cena,
<v Speaker 1>Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan at WRESTLEMANI, which is pretty impressive.
<v Speaker 1>But Rock had that excellent match with Austin at seventeen.
<v Speaker 1>Some say it's the best WrestleMania main event of all time,
<v Speaker 1>and then eighteen was just a total five star affair
<v Speaker 1>with Hogan. I gotta go Rock seventeen to eighteen, WWE
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling and gaming. Who wins the scene of Brock match Brock?
<v Speaker 1>I just feel like Brock's gonna win. Sidrow. What did
<v Speaker 1>the urologist say to the student who got accepted into
<v Speaker 1>urology school. You're in my God and biologists crossed a
<v Speaker 1>watermelon with cauliflower. People who eat the new variety get
<v Speaker 1>a sense of sadness known as melancholie. Okay, that's that's awful.
<v Speaker 1>You should have quit with the urologist joke man. That
<v Speaker 1>one is unmatched. Unmatched WWE wrestling and gaming. What's seen
<v Speaker 1>His greatest attribute slash strength. His greatest attributes he was
<v Speaker 1>He was the perfect corporate champion for Vince for many years.
<v Speaker 1>He is the perfect like embodiment. I think of what
<v Speaker 1>they look for in a champion, in a franchise player.
<v Speaker 1>He's you know, for so many years, he was the
<v Speaker 1>quarterback of that company. And I think his greatest attribute
<v Speaker 1>and strength in terms of WWE is that they could
<v Speaker 1>trust him, that he was never going to embarrass the company,
<v Speaker 1>he was never going to get them in trouble. He
<v Speaker 1>was always going to stay out of trouble. They could
<v Speaker 1>rely on him. I think in ways that maybe they
<v Speaker 1>felt like they couldn't with certain other top stars over
<v Speaker 1>the years, and he was just the perfect embodiment of
<v Speaker 1>everything they looked for in a champion. That's why he
<v Speaker 1>was on top for so long. That's why they loved
<v Speaker 1>him so much. That's why they call him the goat
<v Speaker 1>on commentary every week. So more than his actual physical
<v Speaker 1>strength or anything else's promo ability. To me, that's his
<v Speaker 1>greatest attribute that kept him on top for so long.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see here, we got Sidrow. There he is Sidrow
<v Speaker 1>with fourteen months of membership. And by the way, Noel
<v Speaker 1>Mulligan new channel member, Welcome. We got a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>new Legends members too, who were checking out that retro audio,
<v Speaker 1>so I hope you guys enjoy it. That stuff has
<v Speaker 1>not been heard since it originally aired. I mean, we're
<v Speaker 1>talking about early shit from like two thousand and seven,
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and eight, so it's it's kind of fun
<v Speaker 1>for me to go back and listen to some of
<v Speaker 1>that stuff. I just cringe at some of it because
<v Speaker 1>I just sounded so different. But the se Scoops Live
<v Speaker 1>show that I put up tonight from that week before
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania twenty four is nice trip down memory lane. But
<v Speaker 1>Sidro says, wife warned me not to steal kitchen utensils,
<v Speaker 1>but it's a whisk I'm willing to take. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>it's a whisk. He's willing to take. And what do
<v Speaker 1>you call a cockpit when the pilots are women? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know because it disappeared on me. Hold on a
<v Speaker 1>second year, there we go. What do you call a
<v Speaker 1>cockpit where the pilots are women? The box office? Very good,
<v Speaker 1>very good, Daddy, you garte, says w NBC boyd w ANBC,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta say it right, w ANBC. H mac tub
<v Speaker 1>did you know Kevin Nash explain why Triple Ah to
<v Speaker 1>beat Punk? He said Punk's promos before Night of Champions
<v Speaker 1>severely offended him. Yeah, he beat Punk because you know
<v Speaker 1>he was Look, we know why he beat Punk. I
<v Speaker 1>don't need Kevin Nash to tell me why he beat Punk.
<v Speaker 1>It was obvious in twenty eleven why it happened. Angel
<v Speaker 1>Alago with the ten months of membership, says, my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>and prayers are with you, al Monster. I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 1>Still a tough situation with my aunt, she's still in
<v Speaker 1>the hospital. But hopefully next week is a better week.
<v Speaker 1>And then Angel with the one hundred and fifty dollars superbomb. Angel,
<v Speaker 1>you are very much You're like an angel from heaven
<v Speaker 1>here on the stream. Thank you, my friend. Hopefully you
<v Speaker 1>can joined for Wressell Palooza tomorrow, or is Cody said
<v Speaker 1>last week Wressell Palooza. I don't think Cody will be
<v Speaker 1>a h a Wrestle Palooza tomorrow. I think he's getting
<v Speaker 1>the wind. But Angel, thank you the moldy cheeseburger. It
<v Speaker 1>has been sixteen years since hade Vanson made his cryptic
<v Speaker 1>vignette on SmackDown. It's twenty twenty five. He still hasn't
<v Speaker 1>made his debut. When is he going to show up?
<v Speaker 1>He will come when Veer does. He will come when
<v Speaker 1>Veer does. Sidrow, I got a new stick deodorant today.
<v Speaker 1>The instruction said remove cap and push up bottom. I
<v Speaker 1>can barely walk, but when I fart the room smells lovely.
<v Speaker 1>What am I gonna do with you? What am I
<v Speaker 1>gonna do with you? Uh not? Hugh Morris calling it now.
<v Speaker 1>Brock is murdering Scena postmatch, but Jacob Fatu comes in
<v Speaker 1>for a face off with Lesner. Any way to incorporate
<v Speaker 1>Jacob Fatu into the mix is the correct move. So
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned wargames, they could all be involved in a
<v Speaker 1>war game scenario. I think that that would be great.
<v Speaker 1>I think that that would be great. If they can
<v Speaker 1>get Jacob involved in that, then you built to maybe
<v Speaker 1>a Lesnar Fatu match. I think that would be tremendous.
<v Speaker 1>Bace Bears says, is the Devil's Kiss even allowed in
<v Speaker 1>Saudi Arabia? Probably not. It's a lot of things they
<v Speaker 1>won't be able to do over there in terms of
<v Speaker 1>just the attire. That's why I'm very curious to see
<v Speaker 1>what his women's royal rumble looks like in January. Duffs
<v Speaker 1>viz what search engine does Mario use? Yahoo? Thank you, Duffs.
<v Speaker 1>Bace Bears says, five matches at Palooza is like five
<v Speaker 1>bands at Woodstock. Yeah, but yeah, you would have the
<v Speaker 1>five bands at Woodstock, but you would have like thirty
<v Speaker 1>minutes between each set so they can plug various various things.
<v Speaker 1>That would be the WWE version of Woodstock hosted by
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole. Sidrow had my feet amputated and my boss
<v Speaker 1>fired me. These lack tose, intolerant suck What do you
<v Speaker 1>fish for at baptisms? Holy mackerels ps. Thanks for your donation, Solo, Well,
<v Speaker 1>you're very welcome. You know, I know it's been a
<v Speaker 1>very tough week for Sidrow. Sidro lost his mom, and
<v Speaker 1>as I said on the stream the other day, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if Sidrow is with us, but we're all
<v Speaker 1>thinking about you. You're a part of the family, and
<v Speaker 1>here's the better days. Here's the better days. Duff VIDs.
<v Speaker 1>What did the blanket say when it fell off the bed?
<v Speaker 1>Oh sheet? O sheet? Paul Carpenter MotorCity Machine Guns versus
<v Speaker 1>Phraxium was on main event for Clash at Paris and
<v Speaker 1>was a five star in my opinion. Please check it out.
<v Speaker 1>Was on main event for Clash in Paris. What does
<v Speaker 1>that mean? They taped the match at Clash in Paris
<v Speaker 1>and it aired on main event. I didn't hear about this.
<v Speaker 1>Why was it on main event then and not one
<v Speaker 1>of the main shows. Duff's VIDs. The seven Dwarves were
<v Speaker 1>sitting in a hot tub until Doc started feeling sleepy,
<v Speaker 1>so Sleepy got out. Thank you, Duffs. Who were the
<v Speaker 1>seven Dwarfs? Doc, Sleepy, Dopey, bashful? I forgot the other ones.
<v Speaker 1>I only know four of the seven Dwarfs Sleepy it
<v Speaker 1>was Dumpy one? Or did I just make that up?
<v Speaker 1>I think Dumpy was one, right, Dumpy Dwarf. If not,
<v Speaker 1>it should be grumpy. Yeah, I know a few people
<v Speaker 1>like that. I know a few podcasters like that. All right,
<v Speaker 1>let's see here. What have we got here? We got Sidrow?
<v Speaker 1>What do you call an alligator who's a renegade? A gatorade?
<v Speaker 1>Of course, that just makes so much sense. Happy, grumpy, dopey, sneezy.
<v Speaker 1>I think Dumpy should be one. I'm sorry. We should
<v Speaker 1>kill one of the existing seven dwarves and replace them
<v Speaker 1>with Dumpy. I'm starting the campaign for it. We need
<v Speaker 1>Dumpy Dwarf. Noel Mulligan, Hi, Solam monster. I was thinking
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling event would do well in my city. Cork
<v Speaker 1>Super Value Park can hold forty five thousand, and I'll
<v Speaker 1>bet you there are a lot of wrestling fans there
<v Speaker 1>too who would love to go to a wrestling show
<v Speaker 1>like that. So I think that would be cool. Duff's VIDs.
<v Speaker 1>When I was young, I had two kidneys. Now I
<v Speaker 1>have adult knees. Sun oh Man Prince Vegeta says Drew
<v Speaker 1>should be in the spot that Seth is in. So
<v Speaker 1>Drew should be leading the vision. He's got way more
<v Speaker 1>aura than he does. Please give Drew another world title.
<v Speaker 1>Run Papa trips, all right, let's not call him Papa.
<v Speaker 1>It's a little weird. Duff's VIDs. What is it called
<v Speaker 1>when you carve a pumpkin in September? Premature e jack
<v Speaker 1>o lantern? Not bad? Not bad. It reminds me, actually,
<v Speaker 1>were what two weeks away? I get to start doing
<v Speaker 1>the Halloween designs here on the channel all month long.
<v Speaker 1>I love October. It's my favorite month. It might be
<v Speaker 1>my favorite month for another reason too. Someone might have
<v Speaker 1>a birthday coming up in a few weeks, but that's
<v Speaker 1>just a rumor. Actually, when does my birthday fall? My
<v Speaker 1>birthday falls on a Monday. How about that. I'll get
<v Speaker 1>to be live with all of you on a Monday
<v Speaker 1>night for my birthday. This year we have Duff's bids.
<v Speaker 1>My girlfriend came up to me and said, what starts
<v Speaker 1>with f and ens and K I said, no, it doesn't,
<v Speaker 1>it's not even close. I like that one. That's right.
<v Speaker 1>October is when the solemn Monster comes alive. That's right,
<v Speaker 1>he comes alive, and he'll come again in the month
<v Speaker 1>of October. Sidraw brother and I both have diarrhea. I
<v Speaker 1>guess it runs in the family. Were you the one
<v Speaker 1>who had the joke, it might have been on TNT
<v Speaker 1>and I fucking lost it. Where uh what was it?
<v Speaker 2>Was?
<v Speaker 1>The name for the perfect diarrhea medication would be gonorrhea,
<v Speaker 1>and I just I fucking lost it because it actually
<v Speaker 1>makes a lot of sense, right, If you're going to
<v Speaker 1>have a medication that you would take to stop diarrhea
<v Speaker 1>would be called gonorrhea. That's just perfect. It just makes
<v Speaker 1>so much sense. It was Sidra, of course it was you.
<v Speaker 1>Of course it was Is it true that they finally
<v Speaker 1>arrested Rajah Jackson. Yes, and he's already out fifty thousand
<v Speaker 1>dollars bond He's already been bonded out. It's pathetic. And
<v Speaker 1>he says, a guy starts a job at the nut factory.
<v Speaker 1>He says, it's not all that it's cracked up to be.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Sidro'll be taking some gonorrhea tonight, stuffs VIDs.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna make a joke about retirement, but it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't work. That don't work for him. Brother Anobe sad
<v Speaker 1>to see our truth, shamelessly being a Kiosk salesperson for
<v Speaker 1>the ESPN app tonight. Also, there's a PL match PL
<v Speaker 1>match limit now, Yeah, apparently apparently there's a match limit
<v Speaker 1>now that Paul Avec has placed upon these pls, you're
<v Speaker 1>not allowed to go past five unless it's like a
<v Speaker 1>major show, then you get six. Bobby means the only
<v Speaker 1>way humanly possible. The care wins is if Oscar costs EO.
<v Speaker 1>But I just don't see it. Plus, what version of
<v Speaker 1>HBK is your favorite? My favorite version of HBK? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Is?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I just yeah, hard to argue against the
<v Speaker 1>in ring output that he had in the late nineties.
<v Speaker 1>The stuff he was doing in the mid to late
<v Speaker 1>nineties is just untouchable. He had great stuff in the
<v Speaker 1>second half of his career too, but you can't. You
<v Speaker 1>can't beat that mid to late nineties HBK even with
<v Speaker 1>all of his faults. We got boots first time watching
<v Speaker 1>a CMLL show. The reps need to show a little
<v Speaker 1>more hustle with their counts. Yes, CMLL the Anniversary Zone
<v Speaker 1>is ongoing as we speak. I think it's actually being
<v Speaker 1>offered on Triller, I think in English and Spanish as
<v Speaker 1>a pay per view. But tonight is the big match
<v Speaker 1>with MJF defending his CMLL Light Heavyweight Championship against Mystico
<v Speaker 1>and then MJF and whoever else is on the show
<v Speaker 1>Hetch of Sero and all these people are gonna head
<v Speaker 1>on the Red Eye to make their way over to
<v Speaker 1>Toronto for all Out, which is an earlier start time.
<v Speaker 1>That's a three pm start time Eastern time tomorrow. So
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna go right from where the Mexico city. They're
<v Speaker 1>gonna go right from Mexico up to Toronto as quickly
<v Speaker 1>as possible. Man, look at that, we hit the goal too,
<v Speaker 1>We hit double be the booker. Look at that we
<v Speaker 1>have done it ten out of ten. That means a
<v Speaker 1>double be the Booker tonight. That makes up for the
<v Speaker 1>lack of be the Booker on Wednesday. Thanks Dynamite Cripple
<v Speaker 1>Punk ninety one. I just want to say thanks for
<v Speaker 1>streaming and thanks to those making jokes. There you go.
<v Speaker 1>You got a very kind thank you from Cripple Punk
<v Speaker 1>to h Duff's VIDs and Sidrow and everyone else. Putting
<v Speaker 1>a smile on his face tonight, it's very kind of him.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Cripple Punk. Boots says, this referee is a
<v Speaker 1>little too dowe, a little dowe to be a ref
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know referees had to meet certain criteria for
<v Speaker 1>their physique. A little too dowey, you say, Siddra says,
<v Speaker 1>Sidro says, die nomite. It feels that way. The last
<v Speaker 1>several weeks it's been like a ghost town. It's actually
<v Speaker 1>rather depressing. But it's okay because then on Mondays and
<v Speaker 1>Fridays it picks back up. Not much I can do.
<v Speaker 1>That's the sad state of things. When it comes to Wednesdays.
<v Speaker 1>What are you gonna do? I'll tell you what we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do. We're gonna do double be the booker right now,
<v Speaker 1>that's what we're gonna do. Let do it, ladies and gentlemen.
<v Speaker 1>It is now time to be the booker. Solo will
<v Speaker 1>start reviewing NXT on Tuesdays and ditch Wednesdays. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>not gonna happen. I'm a little busy on Tuesdays. But honestly,
<v Speaker 1>even if I wasn't as bad as things have gotten
<v Speaker 1>with Dynamite, it would be worse with NXT because on
<v Speaker 1>those rare occasions in the past where I've reviewed NXT,
<v Speaker 1>like nobody gives a shit. They could talk about how
<v Speaker 1>much they think it's a great show and everything, but
<v Speaker 1>like nobody, nobody cares. Nobody gives a shit. That would
<v Speaker 1>be worse. That would be even worse than Dynamite. Trust me,
<v Speaker 1>all right, be the booker. Be the booker, and then
<v Speaker 1>I obviously we'll get back to the other super chats
<v Speaker 1>I haven't forgotten about. You get them on in. We
<v Speaker 1>still have, we have more to come, but we have
<v Speaker 1>to we have to get to be the booker. We
<v Speaker 1>must begin be the booker. And we are going to
<v Speaker 1>begin with father and son. We have Sting and we
<v Speaker 1>have Darby. Allen Sting and Darby the former AW Tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions. They are gonna be taking on Tyler Breese
<v Speaker 1>and Fandango. Love seeing Tyler Breese though back in the
<v Speaker 1>old gimmick on NXT this week. That was cool. Fans
<v Speaker 1>didn't seem to give a shit, which was kind of sad.
<v Speaker 1>But Breezogo was never was never a favorite of mine.
<v Speaker 1>It just it just wasn't. On the women's side, we
<v Speaker 1>have Hikaru Shida, the former AW Women's World Champion, where
<v Speaker 1>she'd have been. I haven't seen her in a while
<v Speaker 1>shaving a visa issues. Hikarashida gonna go one on one
<v Speaker 1>with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley. Stephanie was very easy on the
<v Speaker 1>eyes back then. But as far as her ring skills,
<v Speaker 1>I think we could come up with better opponents for Hikarushida.
<v Speaker 1>We are headed. We're headed for a reverse sweep here.
<v Speaker 1>This is this is not what I was hoping for.
<v Speaker 1>Main event. We have him. It is Carmelo Hayes, the
<v Speaker 1>winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. See
<v Speaker 1>him and dre my god is mis behind him? How
<v Speaker 1>long has this story been going on for with him
<v Speaker 1>and Miz? How long has it been going on for
<v Speaker 1>this partnership? All right, Carmelo Hayes, he was on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight in the US Title Open Challenge. Now he's
<v Speaker 1>in the main event against Sting against not just Sting,
<v Speaker 1>but it's surfer Sting. Carmelo Hayes and surfers. Thing would
<v Speaker 1>actually be a hell of a match. Well, we got saved.
<v Speaker 1>We got saved from the reverse sweep, so that's good.
<v Speaker 1>Watch we get Sammy. Yeah, that would have been that
<v Speaker 1>would have been something if we would have landed on Sammy. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so you guys unlocked round number two. We haven't had
<v Speaker 1>a double b the Booker in a few weeks, so
<v Speaker 1>this is good. We get to try again. But this
<v Speaker 1>time with stipulations. All right, so here we go. Uh oh,
<v Speaker 1>we got a brawl for all match. Someone's getting injured.
<v Speaker 1>We gotta do a brawl for all. This is gonna end,
<v Speaker 1>This is gonna end poorly depending on who we get.
<v Speaker 1>This is gonna be very interesting. Actually, in this Brawl
<v Speaker 1>for All, we have Sammy Gavara, who has picked a
<v Speaker 1>fighter two backstage in his day in aw Sammy Gavara
<v Speaker 1>in a brawl for all match. Let's see who gets
<v Speaker 1>to beat the ship out of Sammy Gavar. Here in
<v Speaker 1>this Brawl for All, we have Sammy Guevara and Papa Shango,
<v Speaker 1>Papa fucking Shango in a brawl for all match. Everything
<v Speaker 1>about this is just wrong. Papa Shango against Sammy Guevara,
<v Speaker 1>then you turn it into a brawl for all. Everything
<v Speaker 1>about this is just completely fucked. Although I'm going with
<v Speaker 1>Papa Shango just for the record, I'm going with Papa
<v Speaker 1>Shango in that match. Sammy doesn't stand the chance. All right,
<v Speaker 1>our next stipulation match is going to be a stretcher match,
<v Speaker 1>a stretcher match with the ladies. Papa Shango was in
<v Speaker 1>the wrong area, you know, there were plans drawn up
<v Speaker 1>for Papa Shanko to return in nineteen ninety seven, and
<v Speaker 1>they abandoned those plans. They ended up bringing him back
<v Speaker 1>as Kama Kama Mustapa. But I do wonder how that
<v Speaker 1>would have worked. I think if you were to tweak
<v Speaker 1>elements of the Papa Shango character, so like you don't
<v Speaker 1>have him putting curses on people and throwing up, you know,
<v Speaker 1>pea soup. But I do think it's a it's a
<v Speaker 1>pretty cool character that could have worked in that late
<v Speaker 1>nineties era with some tweaks. All right, a stretcher match
<v Speaker 1>with Mia Yim on one side, Sidro says, A stretch
<v Speaker 1>her match with the ladies pause. Yes, this is a
<v Speaker 1>stretcher match with Mea Yim and Willow Nightingale. I do
<v Speaker 1>love Willow. I'll give it the bell, right, Comma the
<v Speaker 1>super Fighting Machine. Remember when he debuted? I said, oh no,
<v Speaker 1>I can't wait until they debut. Period. All right, we
<v Speaker 1>got one more match and it's gonna be Solemn Monster's
<v Speaker 1>choice for the stipulation. Solemn Monster's choice. I guess this
<v Speaker 1>is what a tag team match? Or should we just
<v Speaker 1>book another men's match? I don't know what what stipulation
<v Speaker 1>do I want what stipulation do I want? Um hmmm,
<v Speaker 1>that's a really good question. How about we do the
<v Speaker 1>Big Blue Cage. I like the Big Blue Cage. That's
<v Speaker 1>what we're gonna do. And we're gonna and we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>do the men That's what we're gonna do, Big Blue Cage.
<v Speaker 1>I'm making an executive decision and booking another men's match
<v Speaker 1>here in the main event and inside the Big Blue
<v Speaker 1>k What is this. That's the painmaker. It's causing me
<v Speaker 1>some pain right now, the painmaker, Chris Jericho. Look at this.
<v Speaker 1>Look at this, Look at those muscles flexing those biceps.
<v Speaker 1>Look at this. This is what WW we could get
<v Speaker 1>back in a matter of months. They may get the
<v Speaker 1>pain maker. Everybody. Oh, just the pain Maker against the
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker in the Big Blue Cage. Purple Glove Undertaker, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know anyway. Those are your two rounds, would be
<v Speaker 1>the booker maker versus Taker. See. I like that. Let's
<v Speaker 1>get back to these super chats. You just look at
<v Speaker 1>a bunch more to get through here we have see here,
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Rose. Any chance that AJ loses tomorrow? Seth stop
<v Speaker 1>I assume you mean Seth stomp, not Seth stop. That's possible,
<v Speaker 1>but no aj is winning it for her team. Aj
<v Speaker 1>Lee is gonna pin Becky Lynch to win. That's my prediction.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think aj Lee is returning for her first
<v Speaker 1>match in ten years and losing, But it also then
<v Speaker 1>sets her up for a match for the Intercontinental title
<v Speaker 1>if she pins Becky. Although I do wonder if they're
<v Speaker 1>going to do that Crown Jewel format. We didn't have
<v Speaker 1>too mid card women's titles last year, now we do.
<v Speaker 1>Does that mean we would get Becky Lynch against the Julia?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Richie says, if the Rock has two
<v Speaker 1>matches left on him, and that's all I want to see,
<v Speaker 1>who would his opponent be if he only had two
<v Speaker 1>matches left, it would be Cody Rhods and Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>That's it. Paul Carpenter says, I'm going to need that
<v Speaker 1>VPN info solo Well, all you got to do go
<v Speaker 1>into the description of this video where it says support
<v Speaker 1>my sponsors. The link is right there, so use that
<v Speaker 1>link ExpressVPN dot com slash Solo Monster and sign up one.
<v Speaker 1>You know you got to pay for it. You got
<v Speaker 1>to pay for the year. I believe. Uh but it's
<v Speaker 1>it's it's what I did, and when you use that
<v Speaker 1>link you get four extra months free. I'm using it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm using the VPN now more than ever before, So
<v Speaker 1>it's totally worth it. Lavelle, you see Wrestle Palooza being
<v Speaker 1>better than All Out, I think it. I think it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it could be. I think from an in
<v Speaker 1>ring perspective. All Out also has so many more matches.
<v Speaker 1>All Out may end up being the stronger show as
<v Speaker 1>far as you know the matches themselves. But could Wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Palooza turn out to kind of steal the weekend depending
<v Speaker 1>on what happens. You get a couple of bangers and
<v Speaker 1>then maybe a big angle that they shoot, and that
<v Speaker 1>could make it a better show. Uh So, I can't
<v Speaker 1>really sit here and tell you that. You know, I
<v Speaker 1>think one show is going to be much better than
<v Speaker 1>the other. I'm looking forward to seeing which show, frankly
<v Speaker 1>kind of steals the weekend. But it's hard to me.
<v Speaker 1>And when you have one show that has literally double
<v Speaker 1>or more than double the number of matches of the
<v Speaker 1>other show, it would take a super strong show tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>to I think, be better than the output we're going
<v Speaker 1>to get from all out. I'll just say that. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>Graves injury clearly, So McAfee returns tomorrow. Yeah, but we
<v Speaker 1>already knew that though. But I guess in terms of
<v Speaker 1>the of k FABE, that's how they could explain it.
<v Speaker 1>That would make sense. Hey, Solo Mariah or Blake Mariah.
<v Speaker 1>Richie says if the rock uh oh, I already read
<v Speaker 1>that one. Broley says, SmackDown is in Orlando next week.
<v Speaker 1>Give me Javaon and Sammy. They had an interaction on
<v Speaker 1>the show just this past week. Sammy was in the
<v Speaker 1>back with him. He put him over. Could very well happen.
<v Speaker 1>Boots so Layeska took out Demonito with a topey at
<v Speaker 1>World's Collide. Mister Soco probably hates these young hand puppets
<v Speaker 1>taking unnecessary risks for cheap pops. Well, we don't talk
<v Speaker 1>about mister Soco, mister Soaco. As far as I know,
<v Speaker 1>last I heard, mister Soco was still in a rehab facility.
<v Speaker 1>He fell off the wagon again. He was doing some
<v Speaker 1>he was doing the hard stuff. He was doing the
<v Speaker 1>hard stuff. I mean, like seriously, like wrapping the tube
<v Speaker 1>around his arm. It was bad. So all the best
<v Speaker 1>in mister Soco. He's going through some shit right now.
<v Speaker 1>He's in rehab. But yeah, they found him. He had
<v Speaker 1>track marks all over his arm. It was bad. Boots says,
<v Speaker 1>this CMLL crowd is loud. They were loud when Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>was at Arena Mexico a few months ago for Grand Slam.
<v Speaker 1>Those fans down there are great. He also says some
<v Speaker 1>of these CMLL theme entrances are bangers, beats deaf rebel.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't it cripple punk? Again? Thank you for the five
<v Speaker 1>dollars super chat power spying games solo. You once gave
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie and Chidah a bell, Well, it might have been
<v Speaker 1>a different Stephanie. I think I had more than one
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie in there tonight. I was feeling a little bit different.
<v Speaker 1>I was not feeling as generous as I was that night.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie and Sheida is not a bell. May's the great
<v Speaker 1>fifty months of channel membership, not fifteen fifty months of membership.
<v Speaker 1>As of now, I am a twenty eight year old man. Everybody,
<v Speaker 1>always be thankful for another year on earth. That's great advice.
<v Speaker 1>And May's I wish you a very high be birthday.
<v Speaker 1>Here's too many more. Always be thankful for your health.
<v Speaker 1>Health is wealth. Without it, you have nothing. So here's
<v Speaker 1>to many more years of great health and success. Lost
<v Speaker 1>dil just tuning in and the lost episode you posted
<v Speaker 1>is my birthday, keeping you in my prayers. Solo and Sidrow,
<v Speaker 1>thank you lost still March twenty fourth is his birthday? Hey, yes,
<v Speaker 1>March twenty fourth, two thousand and eight. That's where that
<v Speaker 1>lost episode is from that I posted earlier this evening.
<v Speaker 1>SI Scoops Live. We did about thirty four, right, thirty
<v Speaker 1>four of those episodes between two thousand and eight and
<v Speaker 1>twenty twelve. It was myself and my good buddy Noah
<v Speaker 1>Noah the mark and the first two now first two
<v Speaker 1>episodes of s HE Scoops Live are up as well,
<v Speaker 1>so go check that out. Uh there is Yukio rules
<v Speaker 1>with the fifty. Thanks for keeping up with all the
<v Speaker 1>wrestling stuff as I don't always have time to watch everything.
<v Speaker 1>You're the best. Thank you, Yuki. Oh I watch so
<v Speaker 1>you don't have to, so what I always say or
<v Speaker 1>if you can you want to but you can't, Yukio.
<v Speaker 1>That means a lot. Thank you very much, Dried Chicken
<v Speaker 1>says Drew McIntyre said he wants Cody Bottoms. Spoiler, Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes passes gas and Drew's faith. He said he wants
<v Speaker 1>Cody Bottoms. What back when Solo was twelve, I was
<v Speaker 1>not twelve. I only sounded like I was twelve. Some
<v Speaker 1>say I still look like I'm twelve. Chris manson celebrating
<v Speaker 1>fifty two months of membership. Do you think Jericho is
<v Speaker 1>gone from ae W? I do? I think when his
<v Speaker 1>contract is up, he's out of there and terrible dry checking.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine telling brock Lesner his song is being deaf rebeled
<v Speaker 1>to his face. I pray for that poor soul. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that will never happen because they will never do that.
<v Speaker 1>Can you imagine brock Lesner getting the deaf rebel treatment?
<v Speaker 1>What would they put at the beginning of his song? Beast?
<v Speaker 1>Is that how his song would begin? Beast? That just
<v Speaker 1>goes into some shitty generic music. Oh man, that will
<v Speaker 1>never ever happen. Well, thank you guys, you just hit
<v Speaker 1>the two hour mark. We covered SmackDown tonight, all the
<v Speaker 1>ins and outs, the good, the bad. It was a
<v Speaker 1>decent home show, but again without the US title open
<v Speaker 1>challenges men, These shows would be in real trouble because
<v Speaker 1>right now that is the thing that is really carrying
<v Speaker 1>these shows. But tomorrow is Wressel Palooza. I will be
<v Speaker 1>live on YouTube at the end of that show, so
<v Speaker 1>that is what we will be talking about tomorrow. I
<v Speaker 1>will be watching all out and tweeting along during the show,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm gonna save my review for the SoundOff on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>So that is the way the schedule is shaping up
<v Speaker 1>for this weekend, and then back with you live for
<v Speaker 1>the Raw post show on Monday night. So that is
<v Speaker 1>the plan. Leopoldo says, when is your birthday? Mine is
<v Speaker 1>October twenty eighth. Mine is October sixth. I share a
<v Speaker 1>birthday with two notables in wrestling history. I actually share
<v Speaker 1>a birthday with Bruno, Sam Martino and Dixie Carter. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I mean you find two more polar opposites. Bruno,
<v Speaker 1>Sam Martino, Dixie Carter and the solomonst What a trio.
<v Speaker 1>But it's coming up. And yes, if if you're not
<v Speaker 1>on your VPN, get your VPN. I got one for you.
<v Speaker 1>Trust me, It's gonna make your life a lot easier.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be VPN ing and netflixing my Wrestle Palooza tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>and let you know how it goes. But yes, be
<v Speaker 1>aware that this is the first pl E that is
<v Speaker 1>not on Peacock. Seven Eastern is when wressell Palooza starts
<v Speaker 1>three pm Eastern for all out, It's gonna be a
<v Speaker 1>busy day of wrestling tomorrow. What a faction? Yes, what
<v Speaker 1>a birthday lineup? I know, Hey, Bruno May Me and Bruno.
<v Speaker 1>That's pretty cool, right, I think that's a pretty good
<v Speaker 1>company to be in only a few weeks away. I
<v Speaker 1>hope you guys are gonna hang out with me. We'll
<v Speaker 1>have a little birthday party that night. Uh well, stay safe,
<v Speaker 1>have yourselves a great night. Thank you for all of
<v Speaker 1>the support and making this a fun night, and let's
<v Speaker 1>make it a fun night tomorrow as well. I'll see
<v Speaker 1>you guys for the stream tomorrow. Until then, take care, guys,
