<v Speaker 1>Jare, Katie and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Alright, let's get you updated on everything nationally and locally.
<v Speaker 2>The big celebrity news this morning is Nicole Kidman has
<v Speaker 2>passed away.
<v Speaker 3>Oh wait, no, Jeremy hold on, I was skimming this. No,
<v Speaker 3>they they've split. I was way off, dude.
<v Speaker 2>Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have split after nineteen years
<v Speaker 2>of marriage. Doesn't sound like anyone's filed for divorce yet,
<v Speaker 2>sources are saying, sometimes relationships just.
<v Speaker 3>Run their course.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and they they're separated, probably because she does those
<v Speaker 2>creepy ads at.
<v Speaker 3>The beginning of all the movies in the.
<v Speaker 4>Movie right, I saw someone's so creepy, all amc theaters
<v Speaker 4>need to fly their flags at half staff.
<v Speaker 2>She's like really into watching movies, so uncomfortable and they
<v Speaker 2>come on honest.
<v Speaker 1>So like nineteen years. I know, Jeremy, you and Nick
<v Speaker 1>Knack have a much longer record than.
<v Speaker 5>That to break up, No problem, you guys are made
<v Speaker 5>for each other. But I can see Nicole Kidman and
<v Speaker 5>Keith Urban and like it just ran its course. I
<v Speaker 5>totally get that they've got beautiful kids together.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, thirteen year old and seventy year old.
<v Speaker 5>These are two people I think that can say we
<v Speaker 5>made it work the best we could.
<v Speaker 1>We wish that's for each other.
<v Speaker 3>No, but we're gonna.
<v Speaker 2>Quit, yeah, because it's fine.
<v Speaker 5>Like there's as long as like if they say, you
<v Speaker 5>know what, this is where we're gonna call it quits.
<v Speaker 5>Everybody's fine, Like we're gonna go find a relationship with
<v Speaker 5>someone else.
<v Speaker 1>Like that's not a failure. And I think sometimes.
<v Speaker 3>People sometimes you grow apart. You just grow apart.
<v Speaker 1>You need to. It's not a negative thing. And it's
<v Speaker 1>not like they didn't win something like they didn't finish.
<v Speaker 2>We'll still be friends and everything's gonna be fine.
<v Speaker 1>It's still okay.
<v Speaker 3>Like, yeah, i'd leave because of his wardrobe.
<v Speaker 1>See what that guy wears.
<v Speaker 3>Great guitarists though, really really good.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh, Reading Rainbow is back yo, Yeah, no,
<v Speaker 2>LeVar Burton. They're going with a younger host named Michael
<v Speaker 2>the Librarian.
<v Speaker 3>I guess he's big on TikTok Tik Talk.
<v Speaker 2>He's the resident librarian for PBS Kids as well. And
<v Speaker 2>the show is going to air on PBS, which I
<v Speaker 2>think is where it ran originally anyway, But it gave
<v Speaker 2>me a chance to.
<v Speaker 3>Play a little throwback. I got fly twice as high.
<v Speaker 3>Take a look? Is it a book reading Rainbow? Did
<v Speaker 3>you ever watch this? Katie? Absolutely thought it was so good.
<v Speaker 1>Right, watch this show?
<v Speaker 3>I love LeVar Burton. Yeah where, okay, I'll stop.
<v Speaker 5>It A great show, like even I think as I
<v Speaker 5>got to be an older child, like not just you
<v Speaker 5>know they obviously young adult.
<v Speaker 1>You're kind of growing out of it. But I remember
<v Speaker 1>this show.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, I remember this show like I would watch it
<v Speaker 5>at like twelve thirteen, you know.
<v Speaker 3>I watched it after Arthur.
<v Speaker 4>I remember our there was on, reading was on afterwards?
<v Speaker 3>Oh what else?
<v Speaker 2>Jelly Roll used to think he was going to die
<v Speaker 2>in his sleep. That's not a very uplifting story. No,
<v Speaker 2>Disney is going to release the sequel to The Simpsons Movie,
<v Speaker 2>coming out in July of twenty twenty seven, marking the
<v Speaker 2>franchise's return to theaters after a two decade twenty no
<v Speaker 2>check that, yeah, two decade, your gap two decades would
<v Speaker 2>be twenty.
<v Speaker 3>Years the Simpsons movie. Sometimes I do that. Yeah, oh I'm.
<v Speaker 5>Old, I know, right, And I saw the when they
<v Speaker 5>announced it. They just have the picture of Homer grabbing
<v Speaker 5>the donut.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the second one, so excited.
<v Speaker 2>So the first one had a budget of seventy five
<v Speaker 2>million dollars and they ended up breaking in five hundred
<v Speaker 2>and thirty six million. And again that was twenty years ago,
<v Speaker 2>so that's a big old fat stack of cash.
<v Speaker 3>Can I do the same as time around? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like The Simpsons has run its course a
<v Speaker 2>little bit. They just released their eight hundredth episode. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, it's just kind of it's boring to
<v Speaker 2>me now, so it's not one.
<v Speaker 5>I definitely make sure I catch South Park. I watched
<v Speaker 5>Family on it exactly.
<v Speaker 1>People had their favorites.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, all right, any sports stuff, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>obviously the Broncos are the biggest news. Last night they
<v Speaker 4>won against the Cincinnati Bengals. They crushed the Bengals. Actually,
<v Speaker 4>Bonix had probably his best game of the season. He
<v Speaker 4>did have one interception, but he bawled out. And then,
<v Speaker 4>for the first time in thirty seven games, the Broncos
<v Speaker 4>finally had a one hundred yard rusher. They went thirty
<v Speaker 4>seven games without a one hundred yard rusher, which is
<v Speaker 4>that's horrible.
<v Speaker 3>First of all, that's what I was talking about it
<v Speaker 3>like crazy last night.
<v Speaker 2>You were talking about how it was the apation last night.
<v Speaker 2>It looked Nicole and I go.
<v Speaker 3>I like their hats.
<v Speaker 2>Oh god, their hats were like a Matte finish last night.
<v Speaker 3>They're not shy, are they always?
<v Speaker 4>People?
<v Speaker 3>I haven't been paying attention. I like the Matt finish
<v Speaker 3>on their hats. It looks really good. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Look even the prow bag D's or Matt those are
<v Speaker 2>not so yeah, those are even the snowcap ones.
<v Speaker 4>Snowcaps are Matt. They're Matt too, So everything's back that Matt.
<v Speaker 4>Their primary helmets have been Matt for the last.
<v Speaker 3>Year half, like year and a half. I like their hats. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>looking hats, you guys.
<v Speaker 1>I'll give you that. They have nice hats.
<v Speaker 3>Outfits. Last night we're throwing me off a little bit too.
<v Speaker 4>The Midnight Blue though all I kind of liked it.
<v Speaker 4>I liked it, but you know where where my eyes were?
<v Speaker 3>Their hats on the hats.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, the broad.
<v Speaker 4>Rushed the Bengals, and then they're going to be heading
<v Speaker 4>out to uh London, Billy, Philly Billy and then London,
<v Speaker 4>I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 3>They'll be in Philly and then they're heading out to
<v Speaker 3>across the Pond to play some football.
<v Speaker 1>And hats.
<v Speaker 3>Don't forget hat.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I've made it up.
<v Speaker 3>What was your nickname of high school? Boom roasted?
<v Speaker 5>Okay, okay, they love one of the Cone Brothers, Coen Brothers,
<v Speaker 5>the gosh. I just can't talk Cohen Brothers. They have
<v Speaker 5>an art exhibit coming out and I love this. The
<v Speaker 5>Lab on Santa Fe has the art exhibit. So Cohen
<v Speaker 5>Brothers are famous for Fargo, true grit. Oh brother We're
<v Speaker 5>out there art now. They have so many movies. But
<v Speaker 5>this opens October third and then it'll run through November fifteenth.
<v Speaker 5>So I always like that Santa Fe, all those little
<v Speaker 5>art spots. I did the stroll on Santa Fe this summer.
<v Speaker 5>There's so many art galleries along that street. So this
<v Speaker 5>is really neat.
<v Speaker 1>Again, the lab is where you can catch this latest
<v Speaker 1>art exhibit. Hey, if you want the light rail to
<v Speaker 1>stick around, listen up.
<v Speaker 5>So the RTD's expansion program, they wanted to have one
<v Speaker 5>hundred and thirteen miles both commuter and light rail systems.
<v Speaker 5>This was supposed to be finished like ten years ago.
<v Speaker 5>They're not going to be able to finish all this
<v Speaker 5>until twenty thirty four, and maybe not even that because
<v Speaker 5>they're asking for one point six billion.
<v Speaker 1>Dollars to get this project. Well, no, they don't know, because.
<v Speaker 5>The thing is, well, people don't ride the light rail
<v Speaker 5>as much as they thought they would, and that's the
<v Speaker 5>thing is. Along with that and also just economy in general,
<v Speaker 5>they haven't been able to get the funds to expand
<v Speaker 5>and do the things that they need to, so now
<v Speaker 5>are td looking to get this money.
<v Speaker 4>So it's kind of ironic that Denver's they've been pushing
<v Speaker 4>so hard for so long that they want to make
<v Speaker 4>the city more walkable and less car traffic and all that,
<v Speaker 4>and yet they can't even finish the light rail system.
<v Speaker 4>What are you gonna do if you're trying to make
<v Speaker 4>a city much more walkable and have less transportation and
<v Speaker 4>yet they can't even get you down there.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, that's that's wild to me.
<v Speaker 5>And when they proposed this, it was one of the
<v Speaker 5>largest like expansion projects in the nation. So when they
<v Speaker 5>said that they wanted to do this now decade and
<v Speaker 5>then some ago, they were really excited about it, thinking
<v Speaker 5>that it's something they could accomplish. And now they're looking
<v Speaker 5>at the logistics of it and they're like, yeah, twenty
<v Speaker 5>thirty four.
<v Speaker 1>We don't even know if that's possible.
<v Speaker 3>And again, are they going to keep running? Are they
<v Speaker 3>just not going to expand? Oh yeah, they're shut it down.
<v Speaker 1>They're not going to expand as of right now. But
<v Speaker 1>that's just right now. Who knows what's gonna happen in
<v Speaker 1>the future.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I rode light rail for two three years, going
<v Speaker 2>down to a area for college. Yeah. I'm good with
<v Speaker 2>never being on the light rail ever again.
<v Speaker 3>Have you ever taken saw something?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Never again. I took it to d I A and
<v Speaker 3>it was too much urination on that.
<v Speaker 4>It was. Yeah, you see some things, you.
<v Speaker 5>Definitely do and you can't unsee those things. That's the
<v Speaker 5>problem with it.
<v Speaker 3>But it was generally meurt.
<v Speaker 1>That's why you can't write it anymore.
<v Speaker 3>Never again.
<v Speaker 1>Okay.
<v Speaker 4>Uh.
<v Speaker 5>The City of Greeley, so they broke the ground on
<v Speaker 5>the West Greeley Catalyst Project.
<v Speaker 1>So this is the home for the Colorado Eagles. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So the water park, the ice hockey arena, hotels, all
<v Speaker 5>kinds of stuff up there in Greeley.
<v Speaker 3>Have you seen the mockups for it?
<v Speaker 5>Oh? Yeah, Like the really good vines are really neat,
<v Speaker 5>Like it's gonna smell like cowpoop once a week.
<v Speaker 3>But man, it's.
<v Speaker 1>Gonna be a great look for Greeley.
<v Speaker 5>So that new arena, they're expecting the Eagles to play
<v Speaker 5>there in the twenty twenty eight through twenty nine season.
<v Speaker 5>They'll be playing at what is it the Blue or
<v Speaker 5>Blue Arena out there. Yeah, yeahh So that's where they're
<v Speaker 5>playing right now. But that's a really good look for Greeley.
<v Speaker 5>I like that a lot. And then this story. Okay,
<v Speaker 5>so a former tow truck driver he pleaded guilty recently.
<v Speaker 5>He was doing this thing where he would go and
<v Speaker 5>target people in like lower income areas, and he would
<v Speaker 5>tow their truck or their vehicle and then he would
<v Speaker 5>bring it to the impound lot. And here's the thing is,
<v Speaker 5>he was stealing these vehicles. He was just sentenced to
<v Speaker 5>sixteen years in prison, so he sold them before the
<v Speaker 5>owners even knew they had been stolen. And so the
<v Speaker 5>salvage yard, right, they're required to run the vin when
<v Speaker 5>the tow truck driver immediately goes to them. They're like,
<v Speaker 5>here's a car, I need you to salvage it. And
<v Speaker 5>they're like, okay, I'm gonna run the VN this time.
<v Speaker 5>But if they go back to salvage it the second
<v Speaker 5>time with the same tow truck driver. They don't have
<v Speaker 5>to run that vin again. And that's how he was
<v Speaker 5>getting away with it, and so yeah, they sure, I know.
<v Speaker 5>So now this guy's going to prison for sixteen years,
<v Speaker 5>as he should. These are just the fifty vehicles that
<v Speaker 5>they were that they found they could charge him with.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, who knows how long this guy had been
<v Speaker 5>doing this to people. They interviewed a few people in
<v Speaker 5>the story and they were like, he took our car.
<v Speaker 5>You can imagine for months, like how that affected us,
<v Speaker 5>and how that just really and so all that was
<v Speaker 5>taken into consideration they were when they were sentencing him.
<v Speaker 1>But man, this has made me think, like you, there.
<v Speaker 5>Are people out there, yeah, who really truly take advantage
<v Speaker 5>of others.
<v Speaker 1>And thankfully this guy's now behind bars.
<v Speaker 5>I don't even want to say his name because I
<v Speaker 5>dont want to know.
<v Speaker 1>He's a gun, he's an exactly.
<v Speaker 5>Thankfully they caught him, and again he has pled guilty
<v Speaker 5>and he's going to be facing that time.
<v Speaker 3>So it's funny the whole time he's like, I'm getting
<v Speaker 3>away with it.
<v Speaker 5>He thinks he has the most elaborate scheme and I'm
<v Speaker 5>so glad that they caught up with him.
<v Speaker 1>And actually, I just want.
<v Speaker 5>To point out the flock cameras that are kind of
<v Speaker 5>in the news for whatever reason about having them or
<v Speaker 5>not having them.
<v Speaker 1>They're a big reason they were to catch the help.
<v Speaker 3>So just saying say, would ya look at that? Is
<v Speaker 3>that all you got?
<v Speaker 1>That's what I got today.
<v Speaker 3>There's the hype
