<v Speaker 1>Well, that was a busy night. Busy busy night. Another year,
<v Speaker 1>another Tuesday night head to head. What is this the
<v Speaker 1>third year in a row? And I vowed two years ago,
<v Speaker 1>I said, man, you know, watching bull shows simultaneously at
<v Speaker 1>the same time. Not a fan. Not a fan. Last
<v Speaker 1>year there was a one hour overlap between the two shows.
<v Speaker 1>But this has become a regular thing now. You could
<v Speaker 1>thank baseball for that, where aw Dynamite gets bumped up
<v Speaker 1>by a day to Tuesday, so we get the Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>night war. Oh the war. First time that we've had
<v Speaker 1>a head to head since last year. And this time
<v Speaker 1>NXT opted to go the invasion route, showdown, invasion, whatever
<v Speaker 1>you want to call it between NXT and TNA. So
<v Speaker 1>they chose to do what effectively was its own little
<v Speaker 1>standalone event that didn't really move a whole lot forward
<v Speaker 1>in the way of stories, right, There was a little
<v Speaker 1>bit in there, but not a whole lot. It was really,
<v Speaker 1>you know, in many ways, a self contained event that
<v Speaker 1>you know, if anything, helped promote and push some of
<v Speaker 1>the matches at Bound for Glory this weekend because TNA
<v Speaker 1>has a big pay per view coming up, arguably the
<v Speaker 1>biggest of the year. In Lowell, Massachusetts coming up on
<v Speaker 1>Sunday nights, So not a lot of story progression, at
<v Speaker 1>least on the NXT side. But what this show did
<v Speaker 1>have me wishing I've been saying this for a while.
<v Speaker 1>I do wish that Triple H had not completely abandoned
<v Speaker 1>the traditional Survivor Series elimination style match at Survivor Series. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you want to do war games, that's fine. I always thought,
<v Speaker 1>you know, to retain one Survivor Series style match would
<v Speaker 1>be kind of cool. I didn't really see the need
<v Speaker 1>to completely abandon the concept. But we got two of
<v Speaker 1>them tonight, two Survivor Series style elimination matches, and it
<v Speaker 1>was way more even tonight than it's been recently in
<v Speaker 1>terms of the war back and forth between T and
<v Speaker 1>A and NXT. In fact, when this night was over,
<v Speaker 1>even Stephen, we're both brands, had two wins apiece. They
<v Speaker 1>split the baby in the elimination matches, and then the
<v Speaker 1>two championship matches. We had the title for title NXT
<v Speaker 1>Tag Team titles and TNA Tag Team titles, and then
<v Speaker 1>we had a North American Championship match, same thing. We
<v Speaker 1>had one win for the NXT side, and we have
<v Speaker 1>one win for the TNA side, So even Steven when
<v Speaker 1>this night was over, which for TNA is actually very
<v Speaker 1>good because you've had the NXT talents running around with
<v Speaker 1>their top championships now for a few months. It was
<v Speaker 1>about time that TNA got a little bit of shine
<v Speaker 1>on their side. And maybe they didn't win the night,
<v Speaker 1>but I thought that they did. They did well for themselves.
<v Speaker 1>And you know now that they've gotten this head to
<v Speaker 1>head out of the way, you know, in the head
<v Speaker 1>to head with Dynamite, and they did this special and
<v Speaker 1>it's over. Now we see where things go from here.
<v Speaker 1>In terms of for example, Ricky Saints, who just beat
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi to win the NXE Championship, I couldn't tell
<v Speaker 1>you who really would be next in the line for
<v Speaker 1>a shot at the title other than maybe Trick Williams.
<v Speaker 1>Trick Williams is going to lose his TNA World Heavyweight
<v Speaker 1>Championship to Mike Santana this Sunday. They did some stuff
<v Speaker 1>in the Survivor Series match tonight that made you think
<v Speaker 1>that Ricky and Trick would be the obvious direction. They
<v Speaker 1>have Halloween Havoc, which is coming up in a few weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and that may well be the first challenger for Ricky
<v Speaker 1>Saints because otherwise I don't know. I mean, there's no
<v Speaker 1>obvious other challenger for him. And where Obafemi disappeared to
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I said it was kind of strange
<v Speaker 1>when he was putting his team together that he wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>want Oba on his team. But maybe that's a sign
<v Speaker 1>that Oba is main roster bounds sooner rather than later.
<v Speaker 1>So he was not on the show tonight. I enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>the NXT show. I thought that the matches, for the
<v Speaker 1>most part, were all good. There were some sloppiness in
<v Speaker 1>the Women's Survivor Series match, the match of the night
<v Speaker 1>on either show. Best match of the entire night. North
<v Speaker 1>American Championship match, Ethan Page must have Ali fucking great
<v Speaker 1>match and Ali, you know, when he was let go
<v Speaker 1>a couple of years ago by WWE, it was a
<v Speaker 1>head scratcher because of the timing of it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he was in the middle of a North American Championship
<v Speaker 1>feud with Dominic Mysterio. He was going to win the
<v Speaker 1>North American Championship before they cut him. It was just bizarre,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the timing of it. Even Sean Michaels was
<v Speaker 1>very frustrated by that because he had big plans for Ali.
<v Speaker 1>So we knew back then that Ali was a talented guy.
<v Speaker 1>And since he left, you know, when he sort of
<v Speaker 1>constructed this character, which was something he wanted to do
<v Speaker 1>in NXT, they just never allowed him to do so,
<v Speaker 1>actually he wanted to do it on the main roster
<v Speaker 1>and Vince wouldn't let him. But this time away from WWE,
<v Speaker 1>you know, has done him well. You know, he's gone
<v Speaker 1>out there and he just hasn't just had killer matches,
<v Speaker 1>but he's been able to really flesh out this persona
<v Speaker 1>that he has. So the time away from WWE, I
<v Speaker 1>think has done him good. But if there was one
<v Speaker 1>takeaway from me watching him in the ring tonight, and
<v Speaker 1>I see it all the time, you know, whenever I
<v Speaker 1>see him in the ring, but WWE needs to bring
<v Speaker 1>him back at the earliest opportunity that they have. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we hear about Joe Hendry is WWE bound, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure he is, and as well he should be. And
<v Speaker 1>I think there's money to be made with Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 1>But if you're going to say someone like Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>is WWE band, you can't tell me that someone like Ali,
<v Speaker 1>you know, would not fit like a glove in terms
<v Speaker 1>of either the main roster or NXT and working with
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the talents that they have. So he
<v Speaker 1>went out there tonight and bumped his ass off. You
<v Speaker 1>worked his ass off, so did Ethan Page. I love
<v Speaker 1>that match, Like I said, best match on either show
<v Speaker 1>of the entire night. So I enjoyed the NXT show.
<v Speaker 1>The AW show I thought was good as well. If
<v Speaker 1>I had to choose between which one I enjoyed, I
<v Speaker 1>would go with the NXT show. The AAW show was
<v Speaker 1>a little bit longer. It was two and a half
<v Speaker 1>hours also tonight, but I thought that, you know, there
<v Speaker 1>were three good matches on the AW show, including we
<v Speaker 1>had a TNT Championship match between the two Kyles, not
<v Speaker 1>that there was any drama whatsoever. I mean from the
<v Speaker 1>moment the match was announced, there was no doubt about
<v Speaker 1>how this was gonna go. We had Kyle Fletcher against
<v Speaker 1>Kyle O'Reilly the main event with Orange Cassidy and pack Right,
<v Speaker 1>two familiar rivals. We've seen them in the ring many
<v Speaker 1>times way back in the past, so they kind of
<v Speaker 1>picked up where they left off. I thought up until
<v Speaker 1>the well the stuff. It was really postmatch, the goofy
<v Speaker 1>stuff with Darby. But they had a good match, you know,
<v Speaker 1>in the main event, so I enjoyed that. And the
<v Speaker 1>tag team match between Brodido and Takeshta and Okada. It
<v Speaker 1>was actually a double Jeopardy eliminator match, so the aw
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles weren't out on the line, and Bandido,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I don't know, I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>a legitimate injury or not. I'm not sure if this
<v Speaker 1>supposed injury that he sustained at Arena Mexico is an
<v Speaker 1>injury or just something they manufactured to kind of work
<v Speaker 1>into the story of the match. I'll assume it's legit
<v Speaker 1>unless I read otherwise. But he went out there, you know,
<v Speaker 1>his shoulder was all taped up or wrapped up, and
<v Speaker 1>they still had a really good match. But it was
<v Speaker 1>really just a kind of an appetizer for what these
<v Speaker 1>four men are going to be able to do at
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Dream. Heel's got the win. They're gonna get a
<v Speaker 1>tag team championship match in a few weeks. So that
<v Speaker 1>was the best match on the Dynamite Show. Everything else
<v Speaker 1>to me was you know, it was fine, it was okay,
<v Speaker 1>it was just kind of there. But I thought overall,
<v Speaker 1>it was a good night of wrestling. I enjoyed myself
<v Speaker 1>for the most part, a little a little too much
<v Speaker 1>watching both shows at the same time and trying to
<v Speaker 1>tune into this what's being said in this promo while
<v Speaker 1>this match is going on, and I have Booker t
<v Speaker 1>on commentary going on. Yeah, you know, I'm listening to
<v Speaker 1>Booker as I'm trying to see what's going on over here.
<v Speaker 1>But I thought overall, it was you know, for the
<v Speaker 1>most part, and enjoyable. Not a wrestling and we'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about it all. This is your Super Tuesday review. We're
<v Speaker 1>talking aw Dynamite, We're talking NXTTNA Showdown. I am the
<v Speaker 1>Solemn Monster. It is Tuesday, October seventh, twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>So here's what we're gonna do. Because I am reviewing
<v Speaker 1>both shows here. Normally it would just be Dynamite. Normally
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be live on this channel on Tuesday night,
<v Speaker 1>so everything's sort of turned upside down. So what we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do here is we're gonna start with that. As
<v Speaker 1>you can see, we're gonna start with NXT and I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna talk about this NXTTNA show and then at the
<v Speaker 1>conclusion of that, we will switch over to aw Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>and we will run through that show. So NXT won
<v Speaker 1>the coin Toss, So that is what we are going
<v Speaker 1>to begin with here now. They opened the show a
<v Speaker 1>little video package showing some old highlights from the early
<v Speaker 1>days of NXT, the early days of it was NWATNA.
<v Speaker 1>They had some old school footage in there, and they
<v Speaker 1>kick things off with the title for title match, it
<v Speaker 1>was Matt and Jeff Hardy, the reigning TNA Tag Team Champions,
<v Speaker 1>taking on the raginning NXT Tag Team Champions Dark State
<v Speaker 1>and again both titles on the line. So who would
<v Speaker 1>walk out as double champion or would we get some
<v Speaker 1>sort of bullshit draw finish and they all get to
<v Speaker 1>keep their belts. See, that would have been a very
<v Speaker 1>lame way to open the show. I already figured the
<v Speaker 1>Hardys were winning. There were my pick to win. Once
<v Speaker 1>I saw they were opening the show with this, like
<v Speaker 1>I knew. I just knew, because you want to open
<v Speaker 1>the show in a hot way, you know, especially on
<v Speaker 1>a night where you're you know you're head to head
<v Speaker 1>with another show, and you're going to open the show
<v Speaker 1>with this. You want to get things started on the
<v Speaker 1>right foot, and the way to do that is not
<v Speaker 1>to have fucking Dark State beating the Hardys to win
<v Speaker 1>the you know, TNA tag team titles, which was just
<v Speaker 1>it's never going to happen. So they showed TNA President
<v Speaker 1>Carlos Silva, he was in the crowd that new TV
<v Speaker 1>deal announcement could come any week now and they could
<v Speaker 1>very well end up on this network that NXT is
<v Speaker 1>airing on right now. In fact, if you were to
<v Speaker 1>ask me who do I think is the favorite, CW
<v Speaker 1>would probably be the favorite. I mean, that's what the
<v Speaker 1>rumors were a few months ago, CWA and E. I
<v Speaker 1>could absolutely see WWE assisting providing the assist in helping
<v Speaker 1>TNA get a new TV deal with the CW, and
<v Speaker 1>I could see them moving impact from Thursdays to Wednesdays,
<v Speaker 1>just to drive the knife in just a little bit
<v Speaker 1>right in the side. That's what I'm expecting. But we'll
<v Speaker 1>know soon enough, because Carlos Silva has said that whatever
<v Speaker 1>this deal is going to be, he wants it to
<v Speaker 1>kick off the beginning of twenty twenty six. So we're
<v Speaker 1>going to find out very soon. But that would be
<v Speaker 1>a nice little fuck you, wouldn't it. Don't think they
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't do it if they have any influence over these
<v Speaker 1>negotiations whatsoever. Don't think they wouldn't love that. So all
<v Speaker 1>the members of Dark State, they pounced before the match
<v Speaker 1>even began, and the Hardy's just dumped them all, and
<v Speaker 1>then the referee ejected all of the Dark State members
<v Speaker 1>that were not a part of this match. They showed
<v Speaker 1>the Dudley boys. They were watching in the crowd. The
<v Speaker 1>Dudleys and the Hardys are having a tables match at
<v Speaker 1>Bound for Glory this Sunday, the final ever match between
<v Speaker 1>the Hardys and the Dudleys, because Devon Dudley has said
<v Speaker 1>that this is going to be his final match, that's
<v Speaker 1>what he claims. So they were watching on very intently
<v Speaker 1>in the crowd. Dark State had the advantage going into
<v Speaker 1>the first break. They were working over Jeff. Coming out
<v Speaker 1>of that break, Jeff fended off both members hit him
<v Speaker 1>with a whisper in the wind. Matt caught the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>He hit Dion Lennox with a side effect Osiris Griffin.
<v Speaker 1>He blocked a twist of Fate Matt, though, adjusted into
<v Speaker 1>a DDT, so Matt and Jeff they hit Dion with
<v Speaker 1>the plot twist and Griffin broke up Matt's pin attempt.
<v Speaker 1>Griffin then dumped Jeff out to the floor, put Matt
<v Speaker 1>up in an electric chair position. Matt was able to
<v Speaker 1>fight out of it, and he hit Griffin with a
<v Speaker 1>twist of Fate. Then he hit Dion with a twist
<v Speaker 1>of Fate, and then Jeff tagged in. He hit Dion
<v Speaker 1>with the Swantan Bomb to win the NXT Tag Team
<v Speaker 1>Championship first time in their career that the Hardys can
<v Speaker 1>say that. And I thought the match. It was fun enough.
<v Speaker 1>You know, the crowd was obviously excited to be able
<v Speaker 1>to see the Hardies, and they were even more excited
<v Speaker 1>to see the Hardies actually win the titles, so they
<v Speaker 1>popped huge for the finish. Yeah, the match itself was
<v Speaker 1>a very basic match, solid stuff, nothing blowaway or anything
<v Speaker 1>like that. You pretty much know what you're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>at this stage of the game. You know, the Hardies
<v Speaker 1>are smart. They do what they need to do because
<v Speaker 1>the crowd pops for all of the greatest hits. Whisper
<v Speaker 1>in the win or the poetry in Motion or the
<v Speaker 1>side Effect or Swan tom Bomb, and you know, Dark State,
<v Speaker 1>they're still very young, you know they do. They have
<v Speaker 1>a bright future. Time will tell, maybe individually, not collectively
<v Speaker 1>as a group. Individually, they've got some talented guys in
<v Speaker 1>that in that crew, but there was no way they
<v Speaker 1>were beating the Hardy's here. They just weren't. So, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the match was fine, big moment there at the finish,
<v Speaker 1>and look, TNA, this was long overdue. TNA needed to
<v Speaker 1>get one over on NXT. TNA lost their World Championship
<v Speaker 1>to NXT. TNA lost their Knockouts Championship to NXT twice,
<v Speaker 1>first to j C. Jane and now kill Annie Jordan.
<v Speaker 1>At what point does TNA get something out of this? Right?
<v Speaker 1>They had to. You had two championship on the line tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and it didn't feel like the North American title was
<v Speaker 1>going to be changing hands. You got the Hardy's who basically,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, most people hear the Hardys, who do
<v Speaker 1>they associate the Hardys with? Right, WWE, It's the safest
<v Speaker 1>choice if you go to put your NXT Tag Team
<v Speaker 1>Championships or any NXT championship on anybody. The Hardy's pretty
<v Speaker 1>safe bet. So now it's very interesting because the Hardys
<v Speaker 1>now have the TNA Tag Team Championships, they have the
<v Speaker 1>NXT Tag Team Championships, and I will not be streaming
<v Speaker 1>on Friday night. I will not be here for SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>on Friday because I will be at the House of
<v Speaker 1>Glory show. And it just so happens that one of
<v Speaker 1>the big matches in the House of Glory Show this
<v Speaker 1>Friday is Title for title. This will be the Hardy's
<v Speaker 1>second title for title match in the same week. They're
<v Speaker 1>putting their TNA Tag Team titles on the line against
<v Speaker 1>main event, the eighth Shog Tag Team Champions Jay Lion
<v Speaker 1>Midas Black. They are walking into the NYC Arena as
<v Speaker 1>the TNA and NXT Tag Team champions. They may very
<v Speaker 1>well leave New York on Friday night with three sets
<v Speaker 1>of tag team titles. It'd be very interesting see what
<v Speaker 1>happens here the New Belt Collectors. It looks like it
<v Speaker 1>could happen. It could very well happen. It certainly makes
<v Speaker 1>things a little more interesting. Now come Friday night, can
<v Speaker 1>they repeat what they did tonight? We'll see. So Jordan
<v Speaker 1>Grace was in the ring to officiate the next match
<v Speaker 1>because she was the special guest referee for our first
<v Speaker 1>of two Survivor Series style elimination matches here on this show.
<v Speaker 1>Vick Joseph's wife, Mackenzie Mitchell, who has worked for TNA
<v Speaker 1>for a while now, she handled the ring announcing here
<v Speaker 1>for this match. It was Team TNA captained by the
<v Speaker 1>Knockouts champion Kalanie Jordan with the Inspiration the former Iconics
<v Speaker 1>and Mara Shade, the former Jakara Jackson all for WWE
<v Speaker 1>or NXT Talents or current Klonie Jordan is currently an
<v Speaker 1>NXT Talent, but she's leading Team TNA. They took on
<v Speaker 1>Team NXT, captain by j C Jane, the NXT Women's Champion,
<v Speaker 1>along with Lola Wece, Jada Parker, and Sol Ruka. Now
<v Speaker 1>all eight women entered the ring. They traded hands. The
<v Speaker 1>Inspiration hit Lola and Jada with crossbodies. Shahday hit JC
<v Speaker 1>Jane with a suicide dive. Klonie Jordan hit the pile
<v Speaker 1>of wrestlers outside with a big moonsal. This was Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton esque. She over rotated on this moonsaal and looked
<v Speaker 1>like she smacked the back of her head on the floor,
<v Speaker 1>just like Tiffany did. Unsmacked that a few weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>and it was the same move that had Tiffany in
<v Speaker 1>concussion protocol for about a week. So we had soul
<v Speaker 1>Ruka hit the pile of wrestlers immediately after that with
<v Speaker 1>a front flip into a Fosberry flop out over the
<v Speaker 1>top row lands on her feet. Very impressive and that
<v Speaker 1>takes us into a break. So TEAMTNA they cut the
<v Speaker 1>ring in half on soul Ruka reversed a double suplex
<v Speaker 1>from the Inspiration into a double DDT. Shah Day and Parker.
<v Speaker 1>They tagged in, with Parker dominating here. She tackled both
<v Speaker 1>Inspiration members in the corner and then stacked them on
<v Speaker 1>the middle turn buckle, and Jada then hit both of
<v Speaker 1>them with the draping bonzey drop. And at this point
<v Speaker 1>in the match here mars shah Day. She went up
<v Speaker 1>for a moonsalt to Jada Parker. That was the idea.
<v Speaker 1>She hit the moon salt. Unfortunately for her, what she
<v Speaker 1>hit was not Jada Parker. What she hit was the canvas.
<v Speaker 1>She went just a little past her and got nothing
<v Speaker 1>but just the match. She ate the mat completely missed
<v Speaker 1>on the Moon Salt. So then Jada hit shod Day.
<v Speaker 1>And now I will say though, at least shah Day
<v Speaker 1>she sold it right. She realized, Okay, I fucked up,
<v Speaker 1>but I just hit this moon Salt. Nobody was home,
<v Speaker 1>so let me at least sell it right. Unlike what
<v Speaker 1>Klonie Jordan did when she was in that match. Who
<v Speaker 1>she wrestled? Who the hell did she wrestle and victory Road? Lee?
<v Speaker 1>Was it Lee? You know it was h Yeah, it
<v Speaker 1>was the former Zylie Lee ying Lee. They had a
<v Speaker 1>botch move during the match. She was doing a rana
<v Speaker 1>off the apron. She got power bomb instead hard on
<v Speaker 1>the floor outside pops right back up like nothing ever
<v Speaker 1>happened because it wasn't meant to happen. So I say,
<v Speaker 1>fucking sell it. So at least she sold it. Jada
<v Speaker 1>hit shod Day with a sup plex, Klanie broke up
<v Speaker 1>the pin with a splash. Jada dumped Cassie Lee of
<v Speaker 1>the inspiration to ringside. Mara then rolled up Jada for
<v Speaker 1>the first elimination of the man, and while shad Day
<v Speaker 1>was celebrating, she took her eye off the ball and
<v Speaker 1>soul Ruka comes into the ring and she drops her
<v Speaker 1>with a soul snatcher picks up the second elimination of
<v Speaker 1>the match, Marashad Day, thanks for coming. Team TNA was
<v Speaker 1>cutting the ring in half on j C. Jane. When
<v Speaker 1>they came back from the commercial, Lolavice caught the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>She took down the TNA team with some taekwondo kicks.
<v Speaker 1>Lola hit Jordan and Jesse McKay with her ass smashes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how else to say it. She smashes
<v Speaker 1>people with her ass. I mean, I'm not complaining, but
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's that's what she did. So Vice hit
<v Speaker 1>Jordan with a sayudo suplex and then Lola hit Lee
<v Speaker 1>with a spinning backfist to eliminate her. So then McKay
<v Speaker 1>she tapped out to Lola's rear naked choke and now
<v Speaker 1>Team TNA was in a bad spot. Team TNA was
<v Speaker 1>down three to one. The only person remaining for her
<v Speaker 1>Team TNA was the NXT Star. It was the TNA
<v Speaker 1>Knockouts Champion who happens to be a member of the
<v Speaker 1>NXT Roster, and that was Kilanie Jordan. So Jordan hit
<v Speaker 1>Jane with her one of a kind split legged moonsal
<v Speaker 1>problem is Jordan Grace was occupied. She was distracted by
<v Speaker 1>all of the brawling that was taking place at ringside
<v Speaker 1>involving the Inspiration who had been eliminated. So Jordan ended
<v Speaker 1>up getting a two count only once Grace returned to
<v Speaker 1>the ring to make the count. She wasn't very happy
<v Speaker 1>about that. Lola tagged herself in while she was arguing
<v Speaker 1>with Jacy Jane, and Jordan shoved Wece into Jane. Jordan
<v Speaker 1>then hit Vice with an angle slam for the elimination.
<v Speaker 1>This was about twenty minutes into the match. Sol Ruka
<v Speaker 1>hit Jordan with a backpack stunner for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Soul and Kilanie they brawled to the top. Jordan hit
<v Speaker 1>Soeul with a super Spanish fly. Sol Ruka then use
<v Speaker 1>the knees to block a four fifty splash and Soul
<v Speaker 1>hit Jordan with a soul snatcher, but j C. Jane
<v Speaker 1>tagged herself in and she stole Soul's pin. She stole
<v Speaker 1>the soul, She stole her pin over Jordan to win
<v Speaker 1>it for Team NXT. A few sloppy moments here in
<v Speaker 1>this match, and Jordan Grace honestly ended up being not
<v Speaker 1>much of a factor. Outside of that one spot, she
<v Speaker 1>pretty much played it straight, you know, the entire time. Otherwise,
<v Speaker 1>a pretty solid showcase I think for a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the women here in this match, and they gave them time.
<v Speaker 1>They gave them over twenty minutes, which they should. You know,
<v Speaker 1>for a Survivor Series style match. You don't give a
<v Speaker 1>match like that twelve minutes. So I felt like they
<v Speaker 1>gave it the time that it needed. They didn't rush
<v Speaker 1>through it, and so it was, you know, solid for
<v Speaker 1>what it was meant to be. I don't think it
<v Speaker 1>was the stronger of the two elimination matches they did,
<v Speaker 1>but it was fine. Now, the NXT team wins. Let's
<v Speaker 1>be honest here, Okay, they had this thing one before
<v Speaker 1>the bell even ray, they had this thing one from
<v Speaker 1>the moment that it was announced. Because there wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>single TNA original representing Team TNA. I mean, it's just
<v Speaker 1>it's sad. It's sad, you know, Like the NXT team
<v Speaker 1>or rather the NXT champion JC Jane makes sense right
<v Speaker 1>leading her team. Kelanie Jordan is an NXT star who's
<v Speaker 1>the TNA Knockouts champion. Okay, fine, but to not have
<v Speaker 1>even that one person on that team. The problem is
<v Speaker 1>that I mentioned this the other day when I look
<v Speaker 1>through the roster on the TNA roster page, if you're
<v Speaker 1>looking for someone who has a name of some description,
<v Speaker 1>because there are a few people on the roster who
<v Speaker 1>are you know, TNA originals that have not been in
<v Speaker 1>WWE that you could have gone with, but nobody would
<v Speaker 1>really care. Right in a situation like this, You're supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be picking the best of the best. That's what
<v Speaker 1>I said with the men, like, why wouldn't Ricky Saints
<v Speaker 1>want Oba Femi on his team? Right? So I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>at the roster though, and the only people that would
<v Speaker 1>really fit the bill who would make sense to have
<v Speaker 1>been on Team TNA in this match are two people
<v Speaker 1>who were never going to be on Team TNA, Tessa
<v Speaker 1>Blanchard and Masha Slamovich. I mean, almost everybody else with
<v Speaker 1>any sort of name has spent most of their time
<v Speaker 1>previously in NXT or the WWE main roster. But it's
<v Speaker 1>just sad, you know that they didn't have at least
<v Speaker 1>that one TNA original, Like on the men's side, Frankie Kazarian,
<v Speaker 1>you know, was on Team TNA. He's been there forever. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>obviously he laughed and he was in aaw But he
<v Speaker 1>goes back in TNA to like the mid two thousands, right,
<v Speaker 1>So it kind of makes sense that you would want
<v Speaker 1>somebody like that to be on that team. They didn't
<v Speaker 1>have that here, which is kind of crazy if you
<v Speaker 1>think about it. Because TNA is known also for the
<v Speaker 1>knockouts division. I think they could find one in the
<v Speaker 1>Matt Cardona was chatting with the NXT general manager, Ava
<v Speaker 1>Ava berated him for interfering in the Josh Briggs Miles
<v Speaker 1>Bourne match last week, and Cardona said that he only
<v Speaker 1>wanted to help out TNA even though he couldn't be
<v Speaker 1>on the team. He wasn't chosen to be on the team.
<v Speaker 1>He said that he's always ready. So Briggs barged into
<v Speaker 1>the room and Cardona before he came in, quickly hid
<v Speaker 1>behind the door. So Briggs had no idea that Cardona
<v Speaker 1>was in the room, and he actually was there to
<v Speaker 1>ask for the same thing that Cardona had just asked for,
<v Speaker 1>because Cardona was interested in the match with Josh Briggs. Well,
<v Speaker 1>Briggs barges in and he sees Ava and he demands
<v Speaker 1>a match with Matt Cardona and Avas says, well, I
<v Speaker 1>think we can make that happen next week. Briggs says great,
<v Speaker 1>and he exits, never knowing that Cardona was right behind
<v Speaker 1>him in the room and Cardonah thanked Ava and said
<v Speaker 1>that he likes how they do things in nx TI.
<v Speaker 1>He's always ready. He better be ready. On Friday, we
<v Speaker 1>got Cardona and House of Glory against Killer Cross. He
<v Speaker 1>better be ready. He may not make it to the
<v Speaker 1>match with Josh Briggs next week, depending on how this
<v Speaker 1>match goes with Cross. On Friday night, then we had
<v Speaker 1>the match of the night. We had Ethan Page defending
<v Speaker 1>the NXT North American Championship against the man who should
<v Speaker 1>have been and would have been the North American Champion
<v Speaker 1>had things gone a little bit differently two years ago.
<v Speaker 1>Most of Ali representing tna I talked about this on
<v Speaker 1>the podcast this weekend. I really really liked the promo
<v Speaker 1>last week that Ali cut on Page and specifically the
<v Speaker 1>fact that they had him bring up that very real
<v Speaker 1>fact that two years ago he had a match that
<v Speaker 1>was due to him. He was owed a North American
<v Speaker 1>Championship match. He was supposed to rest, so dirty Dom
<v Speaker 1>in the match never happened. So now he's back, here's
<v Speaker 1>his opportunity to cash in on the match that he
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to get that he never did. Makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>I like the fact that they went with that callback
<v Speaker 1>and they had him in the ring, and just some
<v Speaker 1>of the other things he was saying. Also, I just
<v Speaker 1>thought it was a really good promo and this match here.
<v Speaker 1>I was not expecting a title change. But I don't
<v Speaker 1>think you could look at this match and say, well,
<v Speaker 1>the finish was preordained. I already knew coming in for
<v Speaker 1>sure who was going to win this match, right. Believe me,
<v Speaker 1>we saw some championship matches tonight on either show where
<v Speaker 1>the outcome was never in debt, especially on Dynamite. Let's
<v Speaker 1>be honest. The two title matches on a title Tuesday
<v Speaker 1>show where as predictable as fuck. Okay, nobody in their
<v Speaker 1>right mind thought that those matches were going to end
<v Speaker 1>any differently than they did. I don't think you could
<v Speaker 1>say that about this match. And to the credit of
<v Speaker 1>both these men, the deeper into the match they went
<v Speaker 1>in some of the near falls. There's some great near
<v Speaker 1>falls here. They even had me biting on them, believing
<v Speaker 1>them maybe maybe they would pull off a title change here.
<v Speaker 1>So midway through they ended up on the top turn
<v Speaker 1>buckle and Page tried a superplex. Ali knocked him off,
<v Speaker 1>and when Page tried it again, he hit a sunset
<v Speaker 1>power bomb from the top rope. He went up top again.
<v Speaker 1>Page though, hit the ropes which knocked Ali onto the
<v Speaker 1>turn buckle and Page at that point he went for
<v Speaker 1>a backbreaker over the turn buckle, but Ali blocked it,
<v Speaker 1>so Page settled for a snake eyes on the top.
<v Speaker 1>I mean he just dropped him down on that top
<v Speaker 1>turn buckle for snake Eyes hit a super kick for two.
<v Speaker 1>Ali collapsed after he kicked out of the pin and
<v Speaker 1>Page started talking some shit. Now he's starting to feel
<v Speaker 1>himself here, He's getting all cocky. Page went for the
<v Speaker 1>Ego's edge, Ali wormed out of it, clapped his ears.
<v Speaker 1>Ali hit a tornado ddt out of the corner, dragged
<v Speaker 1>Page to the corner. He went up top for a
<v Speaker 1>four to fifty splash. Page got out of the way though,
<v Speaker 1>and then he delivered a kick to Ali's head on
<v Speaker 1>the way down. Page tried for the Ego's edge again,
<v Speaker 1>but Ali countered with a hurricane Rana. Ali duck two
<v Speaker 1>clotheslines and he went for a springboard. Page, though, caught him,
<v Speaker 1>and he tried for his twisted grin finish. Ali worked
<v Speaker 1>out of it, and Ali sent Page outside with a
<v Speaker 1>head scissor and then hit a wild dive. This was
<v Speaker 1>a very wild dive. He came flying through the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>He collided with Page, and the momentum sent both of
<v Speaker 1>them just hurtling over the announced desk. Just this wild
<v Speaker 1>sequence here. Ali then pulled Page back into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He went up top. His foot though, was caught up.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if it was the microphone cable or
<v Speaker 1>probably a camera cable, but some sort of long wire
<v Speaker 1>was wrapped around his foot, And at first I was like,
<v Speaker 1>does he not realize that there's a fucking wire around
<v Speaker 1>his foot? But then I realized that, you know, it
<v Speaker 1>was part of what they were going for here. So
<v Speaker 1>as he was trying to free himself from the camera cord,
<v Speaker 1>he got shoved backwards. Page got up and he gave
<v Speaker 1>him a hard shove, and Ali took this hillatious bump
<v Speaker 1>off the top row, flying backwards and he hit the
<v Speaker 1>barricade on the way down. Just a hillatious bump. It
<v Speaker 1>looked great. I wouldn't want to take it, but it
<v Speaker 1>looked devastating here, and Page tossed Ali back into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and he hit twisted grin to get the pin
<v Speaker 1>and retain the championship. Ali worked the match as the
<v Speaker 1>de facto babyface here, which he was always against Ethan Page,
<v Speaker 1>he was always going to be, But he also worked
<v Speaker 1>his fucking ass off. And I don't say that as
<v Speaker 1>if you know he doesn't work his ass off normally,
<v Speaker 1>because of course he does, but it just highlights what
<v Speaker 1>a dumb move it was to cut this guy. It
<v Speaker 1>was dumb enough to cut him in the middle of
<v Speaker 1>a storyline and not at least wrap that up first.
<v Speaker 1>But he's immensely talented and I think he has shown
<v Speaker 1>that he absolutely could have been a much bigger part
<v Speaker 1>of the show than he was, not just an NXT
<v Speaker 1>but on the main roster, and the fact that they
<v Speaker 1>cut him and they let him go was just very dumb.
<v Speaker 1>He's very talented. I think he is one of the
<v Speaker 1>best sellers and bump takers in all of wrestling right now.
<v Speaker 1>Just everything he does when that bell rings, everything he does,
<v Speaker 1>it's so smooth, It just it looks great, and he
<v Speaker 1>just has a knack especially on those nearer falls, for
<v Speaker 1>really convincing the people, you know, and he could do babyface,
<v Speaker 1>he could do heal either way. Again here he was
<v Speaker 1>sort of the de facto babyface, and I don't say
<v Speaker 1>that also to take anything away from Ethan Page. Ethan
<v Speaker 1>Page has had some really great matches himself this year.
<v Speaker 1>This is why he left AEW. He felt like he
<v Speaker 1>wasn't getting anywhere. He didn't see any upper mobility for himself,
<v Speaker 1>and he bet on himself. He had a guaranteed gig there,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure, and he's like, you know what, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>happy here. I need to leave. And look at the
<v Speaker 1>position that he's in right now. Sean Michaels clearly thinks
<v Speaker 1>the world of him, puts a lot of trust in him,
<v Speaker 1>and I think he will do well on the main roster.
<v Speaker 1>I think that in a way that I didn't when
<v Speaker 1>he first came to WWA. But I think this run
<v Speaker 1>that he has had in NXT has done wonders for
<v Speaker 1>elevating and raising his stock. So credit to him too.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it takes two to tango. He went out there,
<v Speaker 1>Ali went out there. This was excellent stuff, and they
<v Speaker 1>got me to buy into some of those nearer falls
<v Speaker 1>there near the end, even though in my mind I
<v Speaker 1>knew I knew that Ali wasn't gonna win the championship.
<v Speaker 1>But then I'm like, oh, wait a minute. You know,
<v Speaker 1>that's when you could tell, like these guys are really
<v Speaker 1>doing their job. So they had even me convinced, you know,
<v Speaker 1>a couple times there late in that match, great stuff.
<v Speaker 1>The NXT women's team was celebrating backstage. Zaria showed up.
<v Speaker 1>She wanted to talk with her tag team partner Soul Ruka,
<v Speaker 1>who said that they're going to be the women's tag
<v Speaker 1>team champions soon. Zaria was acting as if she was
<v Speaker 1>still bothered, you know, like, oh, I see you're celebrating
<v Speaker 1>with your new friends. Seul was like, I thought we
<v Speaker 1>talked about this. I thought everything was cool. So then
<v Speaker 1>Blake Monroe shows up and she said that Soul is
<v Speaker 1>greedy like Jordan Grace for wanting three championships, because right
<v Speaker 1>now she has two. That's right, she does. She has
<v Speaker 1>the Speed title, she has the women the women's North
<v Speaker 1>American Championship. You gotta spread some of that love around.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you can't hog up all the championships. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>what does she think she is here the belt collector.
<v Speaker 1>Who does she think she is? We already have one
<v Speaker 1>of those. So anyway, Zari has said that she's not
<v Speaker 1>falling for her stirring the pot, and Blake said that
<v Speaker 1>she's just going after championships, and she smirked. She said
<v Speaker 1>she wonders how long Zaria and Soul's friendship will last.
<v Speaker 1>Elsewhere in the back, we heard from L. E. H.
<v Speaker 1>O Day Doctor Wagner Junior. He was interviewed about his
<v Speaker 1>issues with Ethan Page, which is really the main reason
<v Speaker 1>I figured Ethan was not losing that championship tonight. So
<v Speaker 1>they were interrupted by Lexus King, who accused him of
<v Speaker 1>being Tavian Heights because Tavian Heights had been under a
<v Speaker 1>I think he was under a Doctor Wagner mask last
<v Speaker 1>week or the week before, so Lexus was convinced up
<v Speaker 1>it's Tavian Heights, even though it looked nothing like him.
<v Speaker 1>So then of course Tavion Heights appeared behind him. King
<v Speaker 1>turned around, thought that he was playing some voodoo here. Whatever.
<v Speaker 1>This is one of those little n XT story line
<v Speaker 1>here that I'm not tuned into this show tonight for this,
<v Speaker 1>So we'll move on. They closed the show. This is
<v Speaker 1>it right here? Main event easy two hours here. The
<v Speaker 1>main event was the other Survivor Series style elimination match
<v Speaker 1>with Team NXT captained by Ricky Saints, the NXT champion,
<v Speaker 1>with Trick Williams, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion who they
<v Speaker 1>did not want on Team TNA because they do not
<v Speaker 1>trust this man, and they were right. You watch what
<v Speaker 1>happened here in this match Trick Williams, Miles Bourne and
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans. They took on Team TNA captain by Mike
<v Speaker 1>Santana with Frankie Kazarian, the reigning TNA International Champion, Moose
<v Speaker 1>and Leon Slater, the reigning X Division champion. Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 1>was the special guest referee for this match, and boy
<v Speaker 1>was he a non factor on this show, but he was.
<v Speaker 1>Hey got to get him on the show in some way.
<v Speaker 1>So this was their idea to get him on the show.
<v Speaker 1>VIC Joseph noted that Kazarian had teamed with his broadcast
<v Speaker 1>partner Booker t when Booker was in TNA, and Booker
<v Speaker 1>noted that Kazarian was just a kid back then. See
<v Speaker 1>that's a polite way of saying he's old. All eight
<v Speaker 1>men stormed the ring to trade hands. Bourne dumped Kazarian
<v Speaker 1>to ringside at the very end and then hit the
<v Speaker 1>pile of wrestlers outside with a flip dive back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Bourne hit a flipping neckbreaker, but he walked into a
<v Speaker 1>slingshot cutter to give Kazarian the first elimination of the match.
<v Speaker 1>We were two minutes into this. We talk about non
<v Speaker 1>factors and thanks for coming Miles Bourne. I don't feel
<v Speaker 1>too badly though for Miles Bourn. Miles Bourne gets to
<v Speaker 1>go home to Stephanie Vicaire every night, so I can't
<v Speaker 1>have too much sympathy for this man. So Kazarian worked
<v Speaker 1>over Javon Evans and he was getting mad at Joe
<v Speaker 1>Hendry's count. We got a brief face off between Santana
<v Speaker 1>and Trick Williams, who tagged in as the legal men.
<v Speaker 1>They're going to be in the main event of Bound
<v Speaker 1>for Glory this Sunday. Trick, though, tagged Evans instead. He
<v Speaker 1>was not interested in going toe to toe just yet
<v Speaker 1>with Mike Santan, so Evans is up with the flip
<v Speaker 1>dive moose, though pulled him out of the air. There
<v Speaker 1>was a hurri and Rona that sent moose flying, but
<v Speaker 1>Slater rolled Evans up for the surprise pin. So that
<v Speaker 1>was the second elimination of this match, and Javon Evans
<v Speaker 1>was stunned that he got beat by Leon Slater. Which
<v Speaker 1>is another match that's coming up soon as well, I
<v Speaker 1>believe on Sunday, and that match is going to be ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>That match is going to be ridiculous. Of course, Leon
<v Speaker 1>Slater first has to get past the Amazing Red this Friday.
<v Speaker 1>He gets past him, then he's got to deal with
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans. You know, Amazing Red knows a thing or
<v Speaker 1>two about the X Division. He's kind of been there,
<v Speaker 1>done that before. You know, when Slater won the X
<v Speaker 1>Division Championship at Slammiversary and aj Styles came out put
<v Speaker 1>him over right in that major way on the mic,
<v Speaker 1>the person that he replaced as the youngest X Division
<v Speaker 1>champion of all time was the Amazing Red. So there
<v Speaker 1>was that connection there between the two of them. So
<v Speaker 1>Evans was gone, and that meant that Team NXT was
<v Speaker 1>now down to two Ricky Saints and Trick Williams. So
<v Speaker 1>Slater and Kazarian they double team Williams. He started fighting back. Kazarian, though,
<v Speaker 1>put him back down with a high kick. He began
<v Speaker 1>stomping on Williams and hanging him upside down in the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Moose tagged in and he charged Williams, though was able
<v Speaker 1>to dodge it, and he went for a tag to
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints. Kazarian, though he ran over and he pulled
<v Speaker 1>Saints off the apron, So when Trick got to his corner,
<v Speaker 1>there was no Ricky Saints. There was nobody to tag.
<v Speaker 1>Some Moose took advantage. Williams though hit a backcutter. Saints
<v Speaker 1>got back up on the apron. He tagged himself in
<v Speaker 1>to take on Leon Slater. Saints hit a falcon arrow,
<v Speaker 1>Slater kicked out it. Two Saints went to the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Kazarian hit him in the back, though, giving Slater a
<v Speaker 1>chance to hit his utopia slam. Saints went to go
<v Speaker 1>tagging Trick right. He needed the assist. He's crawling towards
<v Speaker 1>his corner, and what does Trick Williams do. The TNA
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Champion drops down from the apron, He pulls
<v Speaker 1>a sid and he jumps down, refuses the tag, and
<v Speaker 1>Williams left his partner all alone to fend for himself
<v Speaker 1>against all four members of Team TNA. He pulled the
<v Speaker 1>bad News Brown. He deserted his partner. He said, fuck this,
<v Speaker 1>I'm out of here. See this is why Santina Morellas
<v Speaker 1>said that he can't be trusted. So Kazarian put on
<v Speaker 1>a rear naked choke. He tried to transition into a
<v Speaker 1>cross face, saying they'll rolled it over, and he pinned
<v Speaker 1>him to get the first elimination for Team TNAH or
<v Speaker 1>of a member of Team TNA. So Slater then dove
<v Speaker 1>in to try to finish off Ricky SATs. Saints, though
<v Speaker 1>kicked out. Slater went up top for a swanton. Saints
<v Speaker 1>though got his knees up and he turned Slater over
<v Speaker 1>for a quick pin and the second elimination of a
<v Speaker 1>member of Team TNA. This man is he's doing it
<v Speaker 1>all by himself. So now he has narrowed the gap.
<v Speaker 1>Now it's two on one. Before it was four on one,
<v Speaker 1>now it's two on one. Moose was in next. He
<v Speaker 1>went for a power bomb. Saints though reversed it into
<v Speaker 1>a DDT. He went for the pin. Santana broke it
<v Speaker 1>up and Santana started throwing some hands at Ricky sent
<v Speaker 1>him Downaggering into the corner. Santana went for a power bomb,
<v Speaker 1>but Saints flipped out of it. He delivered a superkick.
<v Speaker 1>Moose went for a spear. Saints, though, dodged it and
<v Speaker 1>hit Santana instead. Santana then shoved Saints into Moose. After
<v Speaker 1>he recovered, Moose hit a power bomb, and then Santana
<v Speaker 1>finished him off with the Spin the Block Discus lariat
<v Speaker 1>to win it for Team TNA and give himself some
<v Speaker 1>momentum going into the main event of Bound for Glory
<v Speaker 1>this weekend. It had to happen. It had to happen.
<v Speaker 1>You could not well go into this show and have
<v Speaker 1>two elimination matches and have the NXT team win in
<v Speaker 1>both of those matches. I mean, you may as well
<v Speaker 1>just shovel the fucking dirt on the grave. Okay, you
<v Speaker 1>couldn't do that. You either had to give both of
<v Speaker 1>them to TNA and shock the world because you know
<v Speaker 1>NX he could afford it, or like I said, split
<v Speaker 1>the baby. And that's what they did tonight. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they gave Team NXT to win on the women's side,
<v Speaker 1>they gave Team TNA the win, and on the men's side,
<v Speaker 1>right nice and clean, even Steven. It had to happen
<v Speaker 1>once the women won at the beginning of the show.
<v Speaker 1>It had to happen this way. And as far as
<v Speaker 1>what they did with Trick, you know what they did
<v Speaker 1>here was they used that as a way to protect
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints. Ricky just beat Obafemi, the most dominant champion
<v Speaker 1>that they've had in NXT in a very long time,
<v Speaker 1>and hasn't even defended his title on a ple yet,
<v Speaker 1>and so this was their way of protecting him if
<v Speaker 1>he was going to take the loss to the T
<v Speaker 1>and A Crew. You know, why did he lose because
<v Speaker 1>his partner deserted him. His partner deserted him, and still
<v Speaker 1>he was able to manage two eliminations by himself, but
<v Speaker 1>that was all he could muster. He valiantly fought back.
<v Speaker 1>It just wasn't enough, you know. So they did what
<v Speaker 1>they could to protect their champion. But like with Jordan
<v Speaker 1>Grace and the Women's Magic, Joe Henry ended up being
<v Speaker 1>virtually a nonfactor here outside of a little minor you know,
<v Speaker 1>spat here and there. It was just a way to
<v Speaker 1>get the two of them on the show. I thought
<v Speaker 1>there would be more of a storyline, you know reason
<v Speaker 1>for them to be there, and it didn't really turn
<v Speaker 1>out that way. So Santana now goes into this main
<v Speaker 1>event on Sunday a bound for glory. He is wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Trick Williams. They're gonna be in Lowell, Massachusetts. When they
<v Speaker 1>were in New York, Santana's backyard in July, they had
<v Speaker 1>the chance to put the championship on him. They did
<v Speaker 1>not do it. My only hope is that when he wins,
<v Speaker 1>and he must win that championship on Sunday. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>we all said this about Joe Hendry last year. Not
<v Speaker 1>only did he lose it Slam Aversary, he lost it
<v Speaker 1>bound for Glory. Remember, they waited until Genesis to put
<v Speaker 1>the title on Joe Hendry. So it's not a slam
<v Speaker 1>dunk guarantee that Santana is winning on Sunday. But I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty sure he's winning on Sunday. My only hope is
<v Speaker 1>that when he does, the reaction in Lowell is as
<v Speaker 1>loud and as positive and energetic and happy as it
<v Speaker 1>would have been in New York, because it would have
<v Speaker 1>been a great, you know moment in front of that
<v Speaker 1>crowd and his friends and his family and his own
<v Speaker 1>you know Backyard Lowell's a little bit different, but again,
<v Speaker 1>as long as you know the fans react to it,
<v Speaker 1>the fans want it, that's really at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the day, all that matters. So that's what I hope for.
<v Speaker 1>I hope the crowd can match the moment on Sunday
<v Speaker 1>when it finally happens. Now, the show did not end
<v Speaker 1>there because they went to the back. Santino and Ava,
<v Speaker 1>the two respective authority figures, are in Ava's office and
<v Speaker 1>they're congratulating each other and Ava asks Santino to bring
<v Speaker 1>the Knockouts Division to NXT next week because she's hosting
<v Speaker 1>a Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for
<v Speaker 1>the NXT Women's Championship, and Santino says that sounds great,
<v Speaker 1>and that's it. That's how they went off the air,
<v Speaker 1>a very anti climactic way to end this show, although
<v Speaker 1>I guess they did it because they would just wanted
<v Speaker 1>to let people know that, Hey, if you're into this,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have more TNA people on the show next week,
<v Speaker 1>so tune in. Otherwise, it's kind of a lame fucking
<v Speaker 1>way for this show to go off the air, not
<v Speaker 1>that you couldn't make some kind of announcement, but that's it.
<v Speaker 1>That's the big announcement for next week. So anyway, that's
<v Speaker 1>how the Showdown Special ended. On the whole, I thought
<v Speaker 1>it was a fun two hours. I enjoyed it again.
<v Speaker 1>It was sort of this self contained show that did
<v Speaker 1>more to sort of promote Bound for Glory than anything
<v Speaker 1>NXT is really doing outside of that Battle Royal next week.
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea if it's not trick Williams, I
<v Speaker 1>have no idea who's next in line for Ricky Saints.
<v Speaker 1>And as far as who's next for JC Jane, I
<v Speaker 1>guess we'll find out next week. I mean, if with
<v Speaker 1>somebody from the Knockouts division, I don't know, you know,
<v Speaker 1>who would that person be. Is there a leading candidate
<v Speaker 1>that we think would make sense from the TNA side
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle JC Jane. I think they ought to be
<v Speaker 1>keeping it in NXT, whether it's a Jordan Grace or
<v Speaker 1>you know, someone on their own roster. It should be
<v Speaker 1>somebody from the NXT side. But it does make me wonder,
<v Speaker 1>you know they did that segment if they are inviting
<v Speaker 1>Knockouts to be a part of this and the Knockouts
<v Speaker 1>title is on an NXT talent, then they may want
<v Speaker 1>to swing the other way and potentially have a Knockouts
<v Speaker 1>talent holding the NXT Women's Championship. I just don't know
<v Speaker 1>who that person would be. You know, we're obviously ruling
<v Speaker 1>out a couple of names who are not on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. I don't know. I don't know who that
<v Speaker 1>person would be. They do have Indie Hartwell. Andy Hartwell
<v Speaker 1>has a win over Tessa Blanchard. She's already got our championship.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe she could collected other belts. Everyone's collecting belts lately.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone's trying to kind of, you know, pad their stats,
<v Speaker 1>run up the score. Austin says, I want Soul to
<v Speaker 1>take the NXT title. Brother. She's got two belts already,
<v Speaker 1>possibly three. She's going after the tag team titles. She
<v Speaker 1>doesn't need to go after the NXT Women's Championship. I
<v Speaker 1>actually don't want to see Soul Rugal win the NXT
<v Speaker 1>Women's Championship because that means it's gonna prevent her from
<v Speaker 1>being called up sooner. I would like to see her
<v Speaker 1>on the main roster sooner rather than later. But she's
<v Speaker 1>got enough belts. Right now. I think she's doing okay
<v Speaker 1>without worrying about this one. So with NXT out of
<v Speaker 1>the way, you know what that means, it's like that,
<v Speaker 1>It's like magic, It's unbelievable. It's time to talk AW
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite title. Tuesday, they were back home in Jacksonville, so
<v Speaker 1>the big homecoming show and they were a Daily's place.
<v Speaker 1>They opened this show with Tony Shavani. He was in
<v Speaker 1>the ring to introduce the AW World Heavyweight Champion, Hangman
<v Speaker 1>Adam Page out to the ring as well as his
<v Speaker 1>challenger for Wrestle Dream for the AW World title, Samoa Joe,
<v Speaker 1>who is one third of the AW trios titles. Because
<v Speaker 1>everybody has a fucking belt. Joe came out on stage.
<v Speaker 1>He was all decked out in his suit. He was
<v Speaker 1>flanked by the other members of the ops, but he
<v Speaker 1>did not have Powerhouse Hobbs or a Katyori Shabbata come
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring with him. He came down by
<v Speaker 1>himself and they agreed no physicality, so we weren't going
<v Speaker 1>to get a big pull apart brawl or anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman took the mic first and he said that there's
<v Speaker 1>been six years of AW Dynamite and he's won, he's lost,
<v Speaker 1>He's committed Arson. He even dressed up one year as
<v Speaker 1>the Staypuff marshmallow Man. Last week, he agreed the team
<v Speaker 1>with the Ops, but after he won the match for
<v Speaker 1>the team, Joe lost it and Sucker punched him, and
<v Speaker 1>he's confused. But when Joe yet or he was confused
<v Speaker 1>by this, But when Joe yelled that Page had never
<v Speaker 1>beaten him before, that's what it all became about the
<v Speaker 1>aw World title, and Joe saw Paige with the title
<v Speaker 1>and he wanted it. He said, Joe has been angry
<v Speaker 1>with himself, but Hangman didn't ask for Joe to have
<v Speaker 1>this opportunity due to any kicking and screaming, but rather
<v Speaker 1>because Page feels he owes Joe at all. In the
<v Speaker 1>Ops were some of the ones that made sure the
<v Speaker 1>fight between him and Moxley was a fair fight, which
<v Speaker 1>is something that he respects. So he understood without help
<v Speaker 1>like that, he never would have been able to win
<v Speaker 1>the championship. But that's where his respect stops. He will
<v Speaker 1>not let Joe take that title from him. And then
<v Speaker 1>it was Joe's turn, and Joe said that everything Page
<v Speaker 1>said was absolutely true, but allow him to share some
<v Speaker 1>uncomfortable truths of his own. When Joe looks at Hangman,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't see the pinnacle of pro wrestling, but instead
<v Speaker 1>he sees a pretender. Page wouldn't be the champion without
<v Speaker 1>the ops, as nobody else had his back more consistently
<v Speaker 1>than they did. Joe was so distracted going after the
<v Speaker 1>death Riders, he took his eye off the world champion.
<v Speaker 1>Page has this fake gratitude, which Joe provided the opportunity
<v Speaker 1>just coming out to collect what he's owed. The most
<v Speaker 1>uncomfortable truth of all is what's standing in front of
<v Speaker 1>him is a fraud, and he's here to check Page.
<v Speaker 1>And he said that he will beat, break and torture him.
<v Speaker 1>He said Hangman would get his licks in at Wrestle Dream,
<v Speaker 1>but he would choke him out and take the title
<v Speaker 1>from him. And at that point Hangman piped up and
<v Speaker 1>he questioned why he always has to defend himself as
<v Speaker 1>a champion to guys like Joe, because he's proved it.
<v Speaker 1>When the bell rings, he accepts that with a bad neck,
<v Speaker 1>Joe will kick his ass for a good bit at
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Dream. But when the match is over and Joe
<v Speaker 1>is flat on his back beaten as fairly as possible.
<v Speaker 1>Page hopes that Joe brings the same energy for the
<v Speaker 1>sport and for the championship, stands up, looks Page in
<v Speaker 1>the eye and accepts him as the champion of the World.
<v Speaker 1>A fine little verbal joust here between these two men,
<v Speaker 1>just to add some intensity to a World Championship match
<v Speaker 1>that feels very, very random on this Wrestle Dream Show.
<v Speaker 1>Joe always shines in these types of segments. You know,
<v Speaker 1>this was no different. It really was just reiterating a
<v Speaker 1>lot of what we heard Joe say last week. You
<v Speaker 1>know backstage. Wasn't really any new ground broken here, but
<v Speaker 1>they got to hype up a match between two babyfaces,
<v Speaker 1>so this is the way that they've chosen to do
<v Speaker 1>it again. I don't mind Joe being in a position
<v Speaker 1>to challenge for the Championship, it's just the whole way
<v Speaker 1>that this came about. It just reeks of we really
<v Speaker 1>don't have anything rock solid for him to be doing
<v Speaker 1>right now. Until MJF is ready to come back and
<v Speaker 1>announce that he's going to be cashing in his contract,
<v Speaker 1>I'm still thinking World's end. But we do have full gear,
<v Speaker 1>so full gear is not MJF. Who the hell does
<v Speaker 1>hangman wrestle? On that show, we had John Moxley against
<v Speaker 1>Tomohiro Ishi ex caliber talked about Moxley being two and
<v Speaker 1>zero against Yes she and their previous singles matches together e.
<v Speaker 1>She was absorbing some shots and ended up bleeding from
<v Speaker 1>the nose. Moxley floated over a brainbuster attempt, hit a
<v Speaker 1>few big boots until both men started popping up and
<v Speaker 1>no selling until Moxley caught Es She with a bussaku knee.
<v Speaker 1>Both men were down. Moxley was up first. He met
<v Speaker 1>him with a cutter for two and then Moxley signaled
<v Speaker 1>for the end. He can necked on a pile driver,
<v Speaker 1>but is she has no neck? How are you going
<v Speaker 1>to pile drive a man with no neck? So, of
<v Speaker 1>course that didn't work. I was never gonna work. Moxley
<v Speaker 1>instead hit a curb stomp. Is she kicked out again?
<v Speaker 1>So is she hit a forearm shot sliding lariot. He
<v Speaker 1>applied a submission hold. Moxley, though escaped. Both men were
<v Speaker 1>back up. Moxley hit the paradigm shift and Ishi kicked out,
<v Speaker 1>so Moxley applied a rear naked choke until she passed
<v Speaker 1>out and that was the end of that. So they
<v Speaker 1>worked a twelve minute match. It felt like double I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they worked a very deliberate pace for a good chunk
<v Speaker 1>of this, and I don't say that in a great way.
<v Speaker 1>I was not a huge fan of this match here.
<v Speaker 1>It was okay, but it was just like, can we
<v Speaker 1>please kind of get to the finish here? And really
<v Speaker 1>what it was it was just the momentum building win
<v Speaker 1>from Moxley. They're heading into the I Quit match of
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Dream. You know, they want to show Moxley in there, right,
<v Speaker 1>He just never takes a backstep. He'll take it to you.
<v Speaker 1>And this is what Darby can expect when they get
<v Speaker 1>in there at Wrestle Dream. And that's really all that
<v Speaker 1>this was intended to do. If I had one positive
<v Speaker 1>thing to say about it beyond that, it would be
<v Speaker 1>that normally, in these Death Riders and John Moxley matches,
<v Speaker 1>not all the time, but a lot of the time,
<v Speaker 1>you got the expected Death Riders interference and all the bullshit,
<v Speaker 1>and they kept that to a minimum here. I think
<v Speaker 1>there was one brief spot before the commercial where Marina
<v Speaker 1>Shafir I think she might have gotten briefly involved for
<v Speaker 1>a distraction, but that was it. So you know, they
<v Speaker 1>kept like the Death Rider Shenanigan's to a minimum here.
<v Speaker 1>But I mean, look, if Moxley can't go in there
<v Speaker 1>and BD she, then what are we doing here? Rene
<v Speaker 1>was backstage with the young Bucks who were knocking on
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kahan's office door begging for another money match after
<v Speaker 1>going broke last week. They spent all their money. They
<v Speaker 1>would have fit in well back in the old territory days. See,
<v Speaker 1>nobody taught anything about financial planning back then. Now I
<v Speaker 1>think they teach it to you at the performance center.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's actually something they teach them, which is
<v Speaker 1>very smart. Back then, you didn't have any sort of
<v Speaker 1>financial planning. Financial planning back then was how much money
<v Speaker 1>are we going to spend this week? When we go
<v Speaker 1>to the bar, when we go to the strip club?
<v Speaker 1>Do we have enough cash? So the Bucks that you know,
<v Speaker 1>I think it was Nick Jackson, blew all their money
<v Speaker 1>at the casino, so of course they want Tony kN
<v Speaker 1>to make a money match now. And she asked them
<v Speaker 1>about Jurassic Express. Matt Jackson said they'll have seats tonight
<v Speaker 1>to watch their match. Said they had to give up
<v Speaker 1>some of their sneakers to get them. Nick kept banging
<v Speaker 1>on the door. Tony never did come out after this.
<v Speaker 1>It was Ricochet and the Gates of Agony against the
<v Speaker 1>Hurt Syndicate in a street fight. Uh, Ricochet in the
<v Speaker 1>Gates of Agony. They are They are the Demand, That's
<v Speaker 1>what they call themselves, So the Demand. They threw a
<v Speaker 1>bunch of weapons into the ring before the Hurt Syndicate
<v Speaker 1>even walked out. And they walked out in suits, which
<v Speaker 1>of course is great attire for a street fight, and
<v Speaker 1>dress shirt and tie and fucking jacket. Sure why not?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, irs wrestled in a fucking tie in suspenders,
<v Speaker 1>so why not. So they went at it right from
<v Speaker 1>the bell. The Demand swarmed MVP until Lashley made the
<v Speaker 1>save brawled with toa leone ringside. Ricochet was hiding underneath
<v Speaker 1>the set up table and he was ratted out by
<v Speaker 1>the fans as MVP dragged him out up the ramp
<v Speaker 1>with a snapsuplex lastly cracked Leona with a crutch. In
<v Speaker 1>the ring, Shelton Benjamin slammed Bishop Kahn onto a chair
<v Speaker 1>and everybody fought into a pile, which allowed Ricochet sprint
<v Speaker 1>down the stage and hit a somersault dive onto everybody
<v Speaker 1>that took us into a commercial break back in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Bishop hit shotgun drop kicks on everybody in his path,
<v Speaker 1>laid out Lashly with a slingshot cross body and Benjamin
<v Speaker 1>with a simone drop and Total Leona tried to put
<v Speaker 1>Lashly through a table, but he slipped free. He charged
<v Speaker 1>for a spear only Bishop chucked the chair at Lashley's
<v Speaker 1>face that kind of stopped him in his tracks. Toto
<v Speaker 1>Leona bealed Lashly through the table until Ricochet and Leona
<v Speaker 1>placed him on another one and Bishop did a cactus
<v Speaker 1>elbow through that table. Total Leona and MVP they smashed
<v Speaker 1>through the barricade ga. They opened the gates on Shelton
<v Speaker 1>Benjamin only for a two count. There was the third
<v Speaker 1>table that got set up at the ring and they
<v Speaker 1>placed Benjamin on top of it. Ricochet hit a shooting
<v Speaker 1>star press off the top. The table didn't break. He
<v Speaker 1>hit a shooting star off the top and the table
<v Speaker 1>did not break. It like sort of started to break
<v Speaker 1>and bend a little bit. It could started to sink,
<v Speaker 1>but the table didn't break, and you could see in
<v Speaker 1>the background I think it might have been Bishop was
<v Speaker 1>basically telling Rikoschhet to go back up, you know, to
<v Speaker 1>redo the spot, and I guess they just didn't hear
<v Speaker 1>him or whatever, because they basically just piled on to
<v Speaker 1>Benjamin to break the table that way, and then the
<v Speaker 1>table finally broke. So this was a very awkward spot here.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, Benjamin came back, he low Bridge, Total Leona
<v Speaker 1>hit a pumpkne that took out Bishop, leaving Ricochet to
<v Speaker 1>go at it all by himself, and a fourth table
<v Speaker 1>was placed in the corner. As Benjamin went to go
<v Speaker 1>take out Bishop, but Rikoshet took the bullet for him instead.
<v Speaker 1>As Benjamin tried to power bomb, Bishop handed Ricochet a
<v Speaker 1>chair and he hit Benjamin with it. Con went to
<v Speaker 1>charge at Shelton. Lash Lydough flew in with a spear.
<v Speaker 1>He gave one to Ricochet and to Total Leona as well.
<v Speaker 1>Outside the ring, Lashly spiked Total Leona, threw a table
<v Speaker 1>with a spinebuster. Ricochet is all by himself. Three on one.
<v Speaker 1>Benjamin hit this wild released German suplex. He just let
<v Speaker 1>him go and he went flying onto the or through
<v Speaker 1>a table actually, and then he pinned Ricochet to win
<v Speaker 1>the match for the Hurt Syndicate, which honestly is what
<v Speaker 1>I expected. We saw what happened it all out. The
<v Speaker 1>only reason the Hurt Syndicate lost is because MVP took
<v Speaker 1>the losing fall. Kas Shelton Benjamin wasn't going to, and
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Lashley wasn't going to, and Tony Kahan didn't want
<v Speaker 1>to beat them. So we'll beat MVP, right. He barely
<v Speaker 1>wrestles anyway, but it'll still be a win for the Demand,
<v Speaker 1>So they run it back street fight rules. They get
<v Speaker 1>their win back fifty to fifty, even Stevens. So now
<v Speaker 1>they're all not a up a one win apiece. We
<v Speaker 1>have wrestled Dream coming up. I suspect we're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>one more match here the tie breaker, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I already did the street fight, so what
<v Speaker 1>kind of stipulation could that match have? I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>but it sure feels like that's where we're headed. Otherwise,
<v Speaker 1>this was It was what you would expect. It was
<v Speaker 1>a street fight. We got plenty of tables. If you
<v Speaker 1>love tables, this was the match for you. But it's
<v Speaker 1>just a bunch of you know, big guys, just beating
<v Speaker 1>the a bunch of big guys in ricochet, beating the
<v Speaker 1>crap out of each other. It's exactly what it was
<v Speaker 1>advertised to be. Renee was backstage. She was with the
<v Speaker 1>don Kallis family, or I should say maybe about half
<v Speaker 1>the don Kallis family. This was definitely not the entire
<v Speaker 1>don Kallis family. And yet you should I should have
<v Speaker 1>taken a picture of this. Still, the entire screen was
<v Speaker 1>taken up by members of all the people though that
<v Speaker 1>were there. You know who wasn't there? Andrade, the man
<v Speaker 1>who just debuted last week, he wasn't even there. But
<v Speaker 1>you saw Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero and Lanzard. You're in Okata?
<v Speaker 1>And who else was there? We had Takeshta at Caceo.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't remember all the different members who
<v Speaker 1>were there. Trumperetta was not there. I know that Mark
<v Speaker 1>Davis was not there. Wardlow was not there, but Androte
<v Speaker 1>was not there either. Josh Alexander was there, and Don
<v Speaker 1>Callus said that Alexander is going to dismantle coota Ibushi
<v Speaker 1>on Collision tonight. Kyle O'Reilly is such a mark that
<v Speaker 1>he named himself after Kyle Fletcher. Rocky Romero said that
<v Speaker 1>Hetceeso Bandido's shoulder out of his socket last week Arena
<v Speaker 1>Mexico and that he is the rightful Ring of Honor
<v Speaker 1>World champion. Well. Don Callus said that tonight Takeushta and
<v Speaker 1>Okada are going to win their match, and then they're
<v Speaker 1>going to go on to get a tag team title match,
<v Speaker 1>a wrestle dream, and they're going to become the new
<v Speaker 1>aw Tag Team Champions. I was talking about the Callus family.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna mention Santo's Ascobar So Santos Esca, as
<v Speaker 1>of midnight, is a free agent. He was presented with
<v Speaker 1>an offer contract offer by WWE, apparently for more money.
<v Speaker 1>But it's not just about money. He wanted some assurances
<v Speaker 1>of what they were going to do with him, and
<v Speaker 1>evidently they didn't give that to him. So he's a
<v Speaker 1>free agent now. And it's sad that My first thought is, well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess don Kallis just got a new family member.
<v Speaker 1>And you know why I say that only half jokingly,
<v Speaker 1>because he very well may end up as a new
<v Speaker 1>member of the Don Kallis family. You know, it's a
<v Speaker 1>very distinct possibility. We'll see where he ends up. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>we should try to grab him. He'd be a great
<v Speaker 1>get on the Hog Show. We would love to get
<v Speaker 1>him on Hog. I've been a fan of his since
<v Speaker 1>the King Querno days in Luca Underground. So after this,
<v Speaker 1>it was the reunited Jurassic Express. It was a jungle
<v Speaker 1>Boy and Lucasaurus against two jobs. I think one of
<v Speaker 1>them was named orian I. I mean, I've I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>I think of Orian I think of Orion's belt around
<v Speaker 1>the dog's neck from Men in Black. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>we also still have not heard from Jack Perry. We
<v Speaker 1>have not heard from Jack Perry on this show since
<v Speaker 1>Jurassic Express reunited. It all out right. They broke up
<v Speaker 1>a few years ago, they went their separate ways. There
<v Speaker 1>was some bad blood there, and then we saw they reunited,
<v Speaker 1>and we saw the vignettes with him resuscitating Lucasaurus and everything.
<v Speaker 1>We still have not heard a fucking word from Jack Perry.
<v Speaker 1>I don't expect to hear anything from Lucasaurus. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he grunts, he doesn't really speak. It's kind of like
<v Speaker 1>the Beast Morte's, you know, so, But Jack Perry, I
<v Speaker 1>know he's got you know, he's got the verbal skills
<v Speaker 1>to communicate here, and we still have not heard anything. See,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just going to assume until they tell us on
<v Speaker 1>TV that the reason they reunited is because they turned
<v Speaker 1>him heel and he had a failed heel run and
<v Speaker 1>so they decided, well, we'll just put them back together.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't work out. We were doing this heel stuff with him,
<v Speaker 1>it didn't work out, and so we just were just
<v Speaker 1>gonna go back to the well. And that's what I
<v Speaker 1>will go with until I hear otherwise from Jack Perry
<v Speaker 1>on TV. So they showed the young Bucks sitting in
<v Speaker 1>the nosebleeds with a bunch of kids. Yes, the Galaxy
<v Speaker 1>is on Orion's belt. That's right, the Galaxy. See that
<v Speaker 1>could be a new faction name now in aw you
<v Speaker 1>know what, I like that better than the Swirl. We'll
<v Speaker 1>go with the Galaxy. Lucasaurus does speak from time to time. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but when was the last time we heard him speak?
<v Speaker 1>I mean from time to time. It's been a long
<v Speaker 1>time since we've heard him say anything on this show.
<v Speaker 1>But then again, he was gone for like a year.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, Lucasaurus slammed O'Ryan down and they hit the
<v Speaker 1>assisted flipping power bomb and they got the win. That
<v Speaker 1>was it. It was a very quick squash win here
<v Speaker 1>for Jurassic Express. After the match was over, the Bucks
<v Speaker 1>ran in. They attacked Perry. They threw him into the
<v Speaker 1>barricade until Lucasaurus tried for a double choke slam, but
<v Speaker 1>he got kicked low. The Bucks had a BTE trigger
<v Speaker 1>on Lucasaurus and then they laid out Perry with a superkick.
<v Speaker 1>So they took the microphone. They told Perry this is
<v Speaker 1>what they in the wrestling business call a callback, and
<v Speaker 1>they smashed the microphone into his ribs, which you will
<v Speaker 1>recall is the same thing that Jack Perry in this
<v Speaker 1>very building at Daly's Place last year, the same thing
<v Speaker 1>that Jack Perry did to Tony Khan before they spiked
<v Speaker 1>Tony Khan on his head with the Meltzer Driver. So
<v Speaker 1>the Bucks then officially challenged Jurassic Express to him match
<v Speaker 1>at Wressel Dream before spiking Perry with the TK driver.
<v Speaker 1>And I shall tell you because we got the graphic
<v Speaker 1>for it later on in the show. Not only is
<v Speaker 1>the match official, but Tony Kahan has given the Bucks
<v Speaker 1>what they wanted. They wanted this to be a money
<v Speaker 1>match because they lost all their money. So this match
<v Speaker 1>at Wressel Dream is a five hundred thousand dollars tag
<v Speaker 1>team match. Hey, you know what, at least they're finally
<v Speaker 1>incorporating the money aspect of it, like they're looping it
<v Speaker 1>in in like a storyline way. That actually kind of
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. That's a plus. It's not just a random
<v Speaker 1>five hundred thousand dollars match in this case, it actually
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. They showed the Death Riders out back in
<v Speaker 1>the parking lot. Pack called out tangerine balls Orange Cassidy,
<v Speaker 1>calling him a pipsqueak. He was gonna wet his appetite
<v Speaker 1>and do to him he always does, which is make
<v Speaker 1>him suffer. Speaking of suffering, we heard from Wheeler Udah
<v Speaker 1>up next. He said that tonight it's gonna hurt him
<v Speaker 1>almost as much as it hurts Orange Cassidy, because tonight
<v Speaker 1>it's time to trim the fat no losers, which is rich.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's very rich coming from Wheeler da Speaking
<v Speaker 1>of which, we heard from Daniel Garcia next, and Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Garcia said that they're going to keep winning as that's
<v Speaker 1>what winners do. Yes, that's what winners do. Everybody says
<v Speaker 1>the man who had to be within the last couple
<v Speaker 1>of months, came out on Dynamite and cut a promo
<v Speaker 1>that said, who hasn't beaten Daniel Garcia? I have that
<v Speaker 1>as one of the sound bites in my intro to
<v Speaker 1>the sound off every week, and this guy's coming out
<v Speaker 1>here talking about winners. Yeah, break'd be like having one
<v Speaker 1>of the Mets go do an interview on ESPN talking
<v Speaker 1>about winners. Go to Cancun, enjoy your vacation. We had
<v Speaker 1>the Battle of the Kyles Kyle Fletcher defending his TNT
<v Speaker 1>championship against Kyle O'Reilly. You got two good wrestlers out there.
<v Speaker 1>They went out there and they had a good wrestling match.
<v Speaker 1>No surprise there, no drama either. The action spilled outside
<v Speaker 1>pretty quickly. O'Reilly sent Fletcher into a chair that was
<v Speaker 1>set up near the barricade. He then delivered a shotgun
<v Speaker 1>drop kick from the apron. O'Reilly missed a knee drop
<v Speaker 1>from the second rope back inside. Fletcher then sent O'Reilly
<v Speaker 1>headfirst into the turnbuckle like a lawn dart. After some reversals,
<v Speaker 1>O'Reilly picked the ankle of Fletcher, he tripped him. He
<v Speaker 1>delivered a need of the back of the head for
<v Speaker 1>a near fall. He applied an ankle lot Fletcher, though,
<v Speaker 1>quickly reversed out and landed a brainbuster. Then he followed
<v Speaker 1>up with a running kick and a second brainbuster for
<v Speaker 1>the wind. That's your condensed version here. So Kyle Fletcher
<v Speaker 1>retains the TNT Championship to the surprise of absolutely nobody.
<v Speaker 1>And after the match was over, Lance Archer attacked O'Reilly.
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe ran out to make the save and at
<v Speaker 1>that point Fletcher retreated. The only bad thing to say
<v Speaker 1>about this is that O'Reilly obviously had no chance of
<v Speaker 1>winning this, so it killed any sort of drama here.
<v Speaker 1>So you know, you got some good wrestling from these two.
<v Speaker 1>It's like a or whatever. I've seen Kyle Fletcher have
<v Speaker 1>better matches. We get great matches on these shows every week.
<v Speaker 1>There was really nothing compelling to this. You know, this
<v Speaker 1>was a collision match, only it was on Dynamite. Where
<v Speaker 1>do you see Kyle O'Reilly most of the time collision?
<v Speaker 1>You know what was really said, We had one woman's
<v Speaker 1>match on this show tonight. On the poster for Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>they had all these different people right the homecoming Jacksonville
<v Speaker 1>all of these different people. One woman on the entire
<v Speaker 1>poster Mercedes Monette, which made sense because she was the
<v Speaker 1>only match on the show. And then there's the Collision
<v Speaker 1>homecoming poster and like all the women are like relegated
<v Speaker 1>to is Collision where all the women go? Now? Is
<v Speaker 1>that just like the de facto women show? Now? I
<v Speaker 1>was amazed, Like, Dynamite is supposed to be your a
<v Speaker 1>show and this is your big homecoming and they literally
<v Speaker 1>the advertised one woman for the entire show. So after
<v Speaker 1>a break, Renee informed Fletcher and Callous in the back
<v Speaker 1>that have wrestled Dream it's going to be Mark Briscoe
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the TNT championship. So now we know what
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe is going to be doing next. He is
<v Speaker 1>indeed going for the TNT title. Mercedes Monette, speaking of
<v Speaker 1>which she put her TBS championship on the line in
<v Speaker 1>an open challenge. The only thing we knew is that
<v Speaker 1>she was going to defend her title against someone from
<v Speaker 1>the state of Florida that you know, didn't really narrow
<v Speaker 1>it down very well. But there was somebody, remember on
<v Speaker 1>the stream last week, I said there was somebody who
<v Speaker 1>made mention of Lacey Lane, the former Caden Carter, and
<v Speaker 1>she had just wrestled recently. I think for Ring of Honor?
<v Speaker 1>Might it be her? Well, guess what it turned out
<v Speaker 1>to be Lacey Lane, who is from Florida. I think
<v Speaker 1>she's from winter Park and it turned out to be her.
<v Speaker 1>And they even aired a very quick vignette with her
<v Speaker 1>with comments from her before the match started, where she
<v Speaker 1>said that her and Mercedes had a chance to cross
<v Speaker 1>paths in the past, but they never did. Tonight that
<v Speaker 1>changes in her hometown, so there were some early pen
<v Speaker 1>attempts from Lacey. Monette floated over in the corner but
<v Speaker 1>missed a crossbody. There was a rolling cradle by Lane
<v Speaker 1>for another two count until a springing dropkick sent Monette outside.
<v Speaker 1>Lane met her with a baseball slide and Monette went
<v Speaker 1>to the Apron tried to suit plex to the floor,
<v Speaker 1>but she got hung up by Lacey, so Monette gained
<v Speaker 1>the advantage. During the commercial break, she planted Lacey with
<v Speaker 1>the three amigos before going up top trying a frog splash.
<v Speaker 1>Lacey got the knees up Money missed double knees in
<v Speaker 1>the corner, which allowed Lacey to hit a running thrust kick,
<v Speaker 1>and Monette answered with a lung blower and a sunset
<v Speaker 1>bomb for two or a sunset bomb into the buckles.
<v Speaker 1>Then she went for the double She loves those double knees.
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes loves those meteors, but this one did not pay off.
<v Speaker 1>Lacey answered with a springboard leg drop and a hammer
<v Speaker 1>locked flatliner for a near fault. Lane wanted the hammer
<v Speaker 1>lock again and that was to her downfall because Mercedes scrambled.
<v Speaker 1>She traded pen attempts with her, and then she managed
<v Speaker 1>a monet maker and she got the wind. You know, look,
<v Speaker 1>I thought Lacey looked fine here in this match. I'd
<v Speaker 1>like to see her get more opportunities. I think she's
<v Speaker 1>certainly a competent wrestler who deserves a shot. I'd like
<v Speaker 1>to see what she could do. She could be a
<v Speaker 1>solid addition here to the women's division. But I mean again,
<v Speaker 1>we do. We knew what this was going to be,
<v Speaker 1>and that's what it was. And I can't, for the
<v Speaker 1>life of me tell you who I think is going
<v Speaker 1>to be lined up next, you know, for Mercedes. But
<v Speaker 1>what I can tell you is I believe Friday. I
<v Speaker 1>believe we're only a couple days away from her tying
<v Speaker 1>and breaking Jade Cargill's record as the longest reigning TBS
<v Speaker 1>champion of all time. I think it happens at the
<v Speaker 1>end of this week. So we had the aw Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team champions Brodie King and Bandido, who had his shoulder
<v Speaker 1>all wrapped up because supposedly his shoulder had popped out
<v Speaker 1>during a match with Hetchesero in CMLL on Friday night,
<v Speaker 1>and inexplicably, Tony Kahan said that he checked with Bendido,
<v Speaker 1>and Bendido really wanted a wrestle, so he was going
<v Speaker 1>to let him wrestle. Apparently that's all it takes. The
<v Speaker 1>wrestler wants to wrestle. It's like, well, gee, golli okay,
<v Speaker 1>I guess we'll let him wrestle. So it's like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>doesn't seem like a wise move if he really did
<v Speaker 1>hurt his shoulder, But all right, I guess the match
<v Speaker 1>is still on. So this match here was not for
<v Speaker 1>the aw Tag Team titles, but they wrestled Kazuska Okada
<v Speaker 1>and Kenoski Takeshta, and this was a double jeopardy eliminator.
<v Speaker 1>If Bandido and Brody won the match, the winner of
<v Speaker 1>the match. Whoever got the winning fall would challenge Okada
<v Speaker 1>for the Unified Championship at Wressel Dream. If Okada and
<v Speaker 1>Takeshta won the match, they will get a tag team
<v Speaker 1>I swear to God, I'm gonna kill you. They would
<v Speaker 1>get a tag team Championship match at Wrestle Dream against Broddo.
<v Speaker 1>So those were the rules here, Okay, those were the
<v Speaker 1>rules for this match. Takeshta is posing on stage. He
<v Speaker 1>got cut off by Okada, who walked out and just
<v Speaker 1>blew right past him, already stealing his thunder here in
<v Speaker 1>this match, Takesha went right after Bandido's bad arm. King tagged,
<v Speaker 1>then he laid out Okada with a running sent on
<v Speaker 1>before I lightened him up with chops. We got a
<v Speaker 1>huge splash in the corner that led to Okada dodging
<v Speaker 1>a second one and Takeshta deck Brody with a big
<v Speaker 1>boot and a DDT on the apron, and for good measure,
<v Speaker 1>Okada hit a DDT of his own, and they went
<v Speaker 1>to a break. Okada and Takeshta were nose to nose. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>they were going face to face these two. King was
<v Speaker 1>worn down the entire break. They come back though, with
<v Speaker 1>King firing off some desperation back suplexes on both heels
<v Speaker 1>mowed them both down with a lariat. Bandida recovered enough
<v Speaker 1>to make the hot tag. We got a springboard cross
<v Speaker 1>body to Okada that led to a series of pin attempts.
<v Speaker 1>Okada slowed the momentum a little bit. Bandido, though still
<v Speaker 1>planted him with a stalling suplex, and King sent Ta
<v Speaker 1>Keshta packing. Okada was spiked by a running pk into
<v Speaker 1>Dante's inferno. Takeshta, though narrowly made the save and takesh
<v Speaker 1>got ping pong with some four arm strikes until Brody
<v Speaker 1>laid him out with a black hole slam. So Brodido
<v Speaker 1>was signaling for their monkey flip four fifty, Okada put
<v Speaker 1>a stop to that. Bandido counted a raging fire into
<v Speaker 1>an inside cradle. Takesha was up and he went for
<v Speaker 1>another charging knee, but he caught Okada on the apron instead,
<v Speaker 1>and Bandido, he with one arm, still hit the X
<v Speaker 1>knee and then went for the twenty one plex. He
<v Speaker 1>couldn't hit it properly though, just with the one arm,
<v Speaker 1>and that day gave Takesha a chance to hit a
<v Speaker 1>poison Rana and as Takeshta wanted the power drive knee,
<v Speaker 1>Okada stole the tag and he turned Bandido inside out
<v Speaker 1>with one rain Makers all it took and he got
<v Speaker 1>the pin to win the match for the Kallis Family,
<v Speaker 1>which means that at Wrestle Dream it will be Okada
<v Speaker 1>and Takeshta challenging for the aw Tag Team Championships against
<v Speaker 1>Brody King and Bandido. So the tension continues to build
<v Speaker 1>between Okada and Takeshta. They're doing the slow burn, and
<v Speaker 1>I hope the reason for that is that they're waiting
<v Speaker 1>and they're waiting, and they're waiting for the Continental Classic,
<v Speaker 1>which is not that far away. I mean normally the
<v Speaker 1>Continental Classic will start in about five or six weeks,
<v Speaker 1>right right th like mid November, maybe like right after
<v Speaker 1>Full Gear, And it just makes all the sense in
<v Speaker 1>the world to me to have, as predictable as it
<v Speaker 1>may be, it makes all the sense in the world
<v Speaker 1>story wise to build to that tournament. And you have
<v Speaker 1>the two of them butt heads in the finals, and
<v Speaker 1>that's where Takesha gets that win over Okada, So you
<v Speaker 1>might even be able to give them a quick tag
<v Speaker 1>team title run here. I mean it would have to
<v Speaker 1>be awfully quick if the idea would be to get
<v Speaker 1>the belts off then before then, So I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if that's something they want to do. I wouldn't mind
<v Speaker 1>seeing Okada and Takesha have even a short run as
<v Speaker 1>the tag team champions. And if Bandido really is legitimately injured,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean, he certainly didn't look like outside of
<v Speaker 1>what he was selling. He didn't look like somebody who
<v Speaker 1>was too terribly injured here in this match. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he looked fine. But if let's say it's a legitimate
<v Speaker 1>injury and they did want to give him a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of time off, all the more reason to do
<v Speaker 1>a title change, you know, on that show, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>necessarily convinced though, that the injury is legit now. Renee
<v Speaker 1>was in the back a little bit later on with
<v Speaker 1>the tag Jams, and Bendido was very dejected. He didn't
<v Speaker 1>want to make any excuses for what happened. He blamed himself,
<v Speaker 1>and King said he's always told him to never stop
<v Speaker 1>fighting and come wrestling. Dream It doesn't matter if they
<v Speaker 1>have two of the best wrestlers in the business in
<v Speaker 1>the ring with them. Bandido, he'dn't name him. He said,
<v Speaker 1>Brodido has the best wrestler, implying Bandido obviously he's the
<v Speaker 1>best wrestler, and they will stand tall at the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view. So again, I don't know if the injury
<v Speaker 1>is legit. I feel like it is, but I was
<v Speaker 1>watching this and it fit well enough into the story
<v Speaker 1>of the match, or I started to wonder if maybe
<v Speaker 1>the whole shoulder popping out thing was legit. Whether it
<v Speaker 1>is or not, evidently he's not going to miss any time.
<v Speaker 1>You know. He did the match tonight and they're going
<v Speaker 1>to defend the titles a wrestle dream, and what we
<v Speaker 1>got tonight was just a taste of what these guys
<v Speaker 1>can do. So I enjoyed this match. This was, you know,
<v Speaker 1>a very good match, but it's not the match we're
<v Speaker 1>going to see a wrestle dream. You know. This was
<v Speaker 1>a small percentage of what they're going to go out
<v Speaker 1>there and do a wrestle dream. So I'm looking forward
<v Speaker 1>to that. This week's episode is sponsored by Express VPN.
<v Speaker 1>You probably browsed an incognito mode before most of us have,
<v Speaker 1>but incognito may not be entirely true. In fact, Google
<v Speaker 1>recently settled a five to a billion with a b
<v Speaker 1>dollar lawsuit after being accused of secretly tracking users in
<v Speaker 1>incognito mode, and what was Google's defense. Incognito does not
<v Speaker 1>mean invisible. All of your online activity is still one
<v Speaker 1>hundred percent visible to a ton of third parties. That is,
<v Speaker 1>unless you use ExpressVPN. So here's the deal. Without ExpressVPN,
<v Speaker 1>these third parties can still see every website you visit
<v Speaker 1>even in incognito mode. That includes your Internet service provider,
<v Speaker 1>your mobile network provider, even your employer potentially if you're
<v Speaker 1>browsing your work on their Wi Fi network. ExpressVPN reroutes
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent of your traffic through secure, encrypted servers,
<v Speaker 1>so third parties can't see your browsing history. ExpressVPN is
<v Speaker 1>the best VPN because it hides your IP address, making
<v Speaker 1>it extremely difficult for third parties to track your online activity.
<v Speaker 1>It's also easy to use. With a tap of a
<v Speaker 1>button in the app, you can choose your location wherever
<v Speaker 1>you want that to be, and boom, you're protected. It's
<v Speaker 1>just that simple. It also works on all of your devices,
<v Speaker 1>including phones, laptops, tablets, and smart TVs, which means that
<v Speaker 1>you can stay private even on the go, not just
<v Speaker 1>at home. It's one thing to protect yourself when you're
<v Speaker 1>browsing in your bedroom, but why should that be any
<v Speaker 1>different in your hotel room or at the airport. There's
<v Speaker 1>a reason ExpressVPN is ranked number one by top tech
<v Speaker 1>reviewers like c neet and The Verge. You know when
<v Speaker 1>I've been on the road traveling for House of Glory,
<v Speaker 1>for example, I was just in Philadelphia last month. I'll

<v Speaker 1>that I've got the Express vpn app installed and active,
<v Speaker 1>because it gives me the peace of mind to know
<v Speaker 1>that I've got the same level of protection I have

<v Speaker 1>first mat since April was pack against Orange Cassidy, his
<v Speaker 1>old rival. They've had many matches back in the day
<v Speaker 1>that Pack comes out here and I said it was
<v Speaker 1>weird enough seeing Pack with the shorter hair and wearing
<v Speaker 1>a shirt, because that's very unlike him. Well now he's
<v Speaker 1>coming out and he's got the shorter haircut, but he's
<v Speaker 1>wearing a singlet and he's in phenomenal shape. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's not like he's trying to cover up his body
<v Speaker 1>because he's not in great physical condition, you know, like
<v Speaker 1>fucking macho man. When he started wearing the tops back
<v Speaker 1>in the day, he wasn't you know, he wasn't doing
<v Speaker 1>what he used to be doing, so his physique took
<v Speaker 1>a hit, so he had to dress up differently. Pack
<v Speaker 1>is in phenomenal shape, but now he's elected to wears
<v Speaker 1>like Christopher Daniels. He's wearing this singlet now, so he
<v Speaker 1>looks like a totally different person. But Pack slowly took
<v Speaker 1>his time. He was rag dolling Cassidy, who tried the
<v Speaker 1>little kicks, the weak kicks. Pack that wasn't having any
<v Speaker 1>of that. So they ended up outside where Pack caught
<v Speaker 1>Cassidy mid dive into a falcon arrow on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>So they went to a commercial break and Pack connected
<v Speaker 1>with a huge drop kick out of the corner, started
<v Speaker 1>toying with Cassidy, who started to slowly fire up and
<v Speaker 1>he was absorbing some shots. Cassidy tried beach break Pack
<v Speaker 1>escaped Cassidy, though connected with a PK, sending pack outside again.
<v Speaker 1>Cassidy tried his toepay ddt pack though caught him. Only
<v Speaker 1>this time Cassidy countered into a stundug millionaire third times
<v Speaker 1>a charm. He goes for his toepay ddt and he
<v Speaker 1>spikes pack on the floor, so he plays pack on
<v Speaker 1>the timekeeper's table. Cassidy goes back to the ring. He
<v Speaker 1>climbs up to the top rope. He puts his hands
<v Speaker 1>in his pockets and he goes diving off, hands in pockets,
<v Speaker 1>and he crashes through the table, which was a hell
<v Speaker 1>of a spot there. I mean, that's got to be
<v Speaker 1>unnerving though, you know, like just naturally you want your
<v Speaker 1>hands out to brace your fall. Now, imagine you're standing
<v Speaker 1>up there and you put your hands in your pockets
<v Speaker 1>and then you just dive off, and you're hoping that
<v Speaker 1>you can position your body in such a way where
<v Speaker 1>you don't have your hands to brace your fall. So
<v Speaker 1>you're basically relying on your shoulder and the person you're
<v Speaker 1>landing on to break your fall and not break your
<v Speaker 1>fucking shoulder. It's a little bit scary, but he put
<v Speaker 1>them to the table. So back inside a spinning DDT
<v Speaker 1>planted Pack, Cassidy kipped up and then he waffled him
<v Speaker 1>with the orange punch. Packed thou got his foot on
<v Speaker 1>the rope. Before the referee could count three, Cassidy went
<v Speaker 1>up top. Packed though, took a page out of Cassidy's
<v Speaker 1>playbook and he slow rolled to the other side of
<v Speaker 1>the ring to avoid the move. He rolled out onto
<v Speaker 1>the stage. Cassidy went after Pack into the crowd. Packed
<v Speaker 1>those suckered him in and gave him a tombstone poeile driver.
<v Speaker 1>And they're in the crowd right, you know, if you
<v Speaker 1>know Daly's place, it's like that little crowd. It's not
<v Speaker 1>like a lot of people, but game a tombstone pile
<v Speaker 1>driver over there. The Bryce Remsburg rushed out to go
<v Speaker 1>check on Cassidy and Pack ordered him back to the
<v Speaker 1>ring to go put the count on him. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why Bryce's voice at this point when he spoke,
<v Speaker 1>it made him sound like a muppet. I don't know why.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, maybe that's how he always sounds. So anyway,
<v Speaker 1>his attention is diverted and Pack is standing there, and
<v Speaker 1>Pack finds that his ankle is suddenly cuffed to the
<v Speaker 1>railing over there. And then if you look down below
<v Speaker 1>is Darby Allen. You can see the face paint. So
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen has handcuffed I mean, I guess a footcuffed
<v Speaker 1>Pack here to this railing. So he's trying to free
<v Speaker 1>him so that he can get back into the ring
<v Speaker 1>before the referee, you know, hits the ten count, and
<v Speaker 1>the referee gets up to account of about seven or so,
<v Speaker 1>and he frees himself. Yes, he broke free from the
<v Speaker 1>cuffs like he's Jacob Fatu at SummerSlam. And that was
<v Speaker 1>pretty dumb too, the way that whole thing played out.
<v Speaker 1>But he dove back into the ring at the count
<v Speaker 1>of nine, barely made it back in. But when he
<v Speaker 1>rolled in, he rolled right into a cazadora pinning combination
<v Speaker 1>by Orange Cassidy who got the three and he beats Pack.
<v Speaker 1>So after the match is over, Darby Allen is now
<v Speaker 1>he's staring Pack down. He's on the stage and he's
<v Speaker 1>staring this man down, and Pack obviously is not happy
<v Speaker 1>about Darby costing him the match, so he goes out
<v Speaker 1>after he sprints towards Darby, and Darby is ready, and
<v Speaker 1>Darby has pepper spray, so he blinds Pack with the
<v Speaker 1>pepper spray, and then Wheeler Das shows up, and so
<v Speaker 1>what does Darby do? He pulls out a taser. So
<v Speaker 1>now we have pepper spray, we have a taser. John Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>Claudio Daniel Garcia, Marina Shaffir. They hit ringside, they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to chase after Darby, but Darby is ready. Darby has
<v Speaker 1>a bottle and a little towel or rag or whatever
<v Speaker 1>the hell was in it, and he's got a lighter
<v Speaker 1>and he is about to light this thing up and
<v Speaker 1>create a Molotov cocktail. Pepper spray, right, pepper spray, taser,
<v Speaker 1>Molotov cocktail. I feel like I'm playing a video game here.
<v Speaker 1>This is completely ridiculous. I mean, it's Darby Allen, so
<v Speaker 1>of course it's going to be ridiculous. But he is
<v Speaker 1>about to set this thing ablaze, and all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>right this security I'm not even gonna call them a
<v Speaker 1>security geek. I will never call them security geeks again
<v Speaker 1>if they act like this guy. This security guard comes
<v Speaker 1>diving in out of nowhere and he tackles Darby to
<v Speaker 1>the ground before he could set fire to this thing
<v Speaker 1>and light it up the Molotov cocktail, like he actually
<v Speaker 1>did his job. It's like fucking secret Service agent diving
<v Speaker 1>and taking this man down to the ground. And then
<v Speaker 1>the other security guards are holding back the members of
<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders, and the show ended with Darby laughing
<v Speaker 1>maniacally as he was being detained. The main event itself
<v Speaker 1>was good. It was a good match that they had.
<v Speaker 1>The stuff that came after was very goofy, you know again,
<v Speaker 1>the pepper spray and taser and the Molotov cocktail, and
<v Speaker 1>you could just I could just imagine what this I
<v Speaker 1>Quit match is going to look like at Wrestler Dream.
<v Speaker 1>We saw the match, they had it all out. What
<v Speaker 1>the fuck do you think they're gonna do it Wrestle Dream.
<v Speaker 1>If he's already bringing out weapons like this here on
<v Speaker 1>this show, I mean, that match is going to be ridiculous,
<v Speaker 1>but it's gonna be ridiculous in the worst possible way.
<v Speaker 1>So this was all very silly here at the end,
<v Speaker 1>But you know, again, we got three pretty you know,
<v Speaker 1>pretty good matches here on this show, and the opening segment.
<v Speaker 1>I thought the opening segment was good, but again, you know,
<v Speaker 1>pretty basic stuff as far as how we got here
<v Speaker 1>with Hangman and Joe, you know, that being the main event,
<v Speaker 1>that being the big title match coming up, a wrestle dream,
<v Speaker 1>and then there was a bunch of stuff on the
<v Speaker 1>show that was it was okay, but I didn't really
<v Speaker 1>care much about it, So a bit of a mixed bag,
<v Speaker 1>but on the whole, it was a good show. Bull
<v Speaker 1>shows tonight were good. Again, I prefer the NXT show
<v Speaker 1>a little bit more, but I thought both shows were good.
<v Speaker 1>I got polls up for both shows. So let's take
<v Speaker 1>a look at the NXT one first, what did you
<v Speaker 1>think of NXT showdown with TNA Seventy four point three
<v Speaker 1>percent thumbs up, twenty five point seven percent thumbs down,
<v Speaker 1>So seventy four to twenty five that is the score
<v Speaker 1>for the NXT show. Let's take a look now at
<v Speaker 1>the AW poll. What did you think of Dynamite Title Tuesday?
<v Speaker 1>Forty five percent thumbs up, fifty five percent thumbs down,
<v Speaker 1>so a very different score. Obviously, the NXTTNA show wins
<v Speaker 1>the night here at least as far as these polls
<v Speaker 1>are concerned. But that's X. Those are the X poles,
<v Speaker 1>you know how that goes? All right, let's get to
<v Speaker 1>your superchats. We are at three hundred and where are
<v Speaker 1>we at three hundred and seventy three likes? We got
<v Speaker 1>to get to a minimum four hundred. Here someone is
<v Speaker 1>quitting while on fire. Yeah, there have been plenty of
<v Speaker 1>teases about fire, so I think it's the same. That's
<v Speaker 1>why I thought they were gonna have like an inferno
<v Speaker 1>match or something. So I think it's a safe bet
<v Speaker 1>that somebody is going to be set on fire, or
<v Speaker 1>at least that's gonna be the threat. All right, let's
<v Speaker 1>go through these superchats here. We're starting out with death Scythe.
<v Speaker 1>Look that death Scythe actually beat Joseph to the punch
<v Speaker 1>tonight as the first superchatter. It's got a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>messages here said, I liked your jealousy idea for a
<v Speaker 1>Roman Jacob match, and I was thinking at the Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble fought two eliminates Roman and then Roman is livid.
<v Speaker 1>He pulls a hogan, He grabspot too and then Jacob
<v Speaker 1>is dumped out by the winner of the Royal Rumble,
<v Speaker 1>so Roman reigns ends up being a big whiny baby.
<v Speaker 1>I mean if he allows his emotions to get the
<v Speaker 1>better of him, sure, he says. Then at the elimination chamber,
<v Speaker 1>Jacob is about to win the chamber, but Roman pulls
<v Speaker 1>a Shawn Michaels and costs him the match. Then Jacob
<v Speaker 1>challenges Roman to a match of WrestleMania. Roman refuses and says,
<v Speaker 1>as you say, Jacob, let's keep it a hundred. Actually
<v Speaker 1>that he says it a little bit differently, Let's keep
<v Speaker 1>it a hundred. Your le mama ululi ole Aiga, the
<v Speaker 1>black sheep of the family. How do you know that
<v Speaker 1>the stain on our dynasty, the heart wrought on our
<v Speaker 1>family tree, and Sammy's aye is more Anawaii than you
<v Speaker 1>will ever be. So fa tu has to be random
<v Speaker 1>bloodline members? Oh God, as if we haven't done this before?
<v Speaker 1>And once Roman agrees, and he then gives fat to
<v Speaker 1>his own version of the look at You Now segments
<v Speaker 1>to get heat. H it's not a bad idea. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the way you've set it up here, it's not bad.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I said, like, if I had to construct
<v Speaker 1>a story of how do we get there? How do
<v Speaker 1>we get these two men in a WrestleMania match? I think,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it should stem from some sort of jealousy
<v Speaker 1>on the part of Roman Reigns. And you know, if
<v Speaker 1>anybody is going to be a heel or more heelish
<v Speaker 1>going into that match, that should be Roman, not Jacob.
<v Speaker 1>So I mean that idea could work. Joseph Stewart, I
<v Speaker 1>really hope I'll be able to start a Batman podcast
<v Speaker 1>one day. What are the I think would be great
<v Speaker 1>at it? Joseph, You've already got the number one thing
<v Speaker 1>is having a passion for something you obviously already have that.
<v Speaker 1>I really hope I'll be able to start a Batman
<v Speaker 1>podcast one day. What are the steps to start a
<v Speaker 1>podcast and any advice on how to do a podcast? Well,
<v Speaker 1>like I said, you need to have a passion for
<v Speaker 1>what you're talking about, and not just one time, but
<v Speaker 1>you know, if you're gonna do it on a weekly
<v Speaker 1>basis or multiple times a week, you have to be
<v Speaker 1>able to throw yourself into it. You know, it's hard
<v Speaker 1>to do that if you're talking about something that you
<v Speaker 1>don't really care about. So you've already got that down.
<v Speaker 1>Consistency is very important, though. It has to be something
<v Speaker 1>that you know you're gonna do on a regular basis
<v Speaker 1>if you really want to build an audience. It's the
<v Speaker 1>only way. It's the only way. If you're very you know,
<v Speaker 1>off and on hit or miss. You do one, you
<v Speaker 1>miss two weeks, you're gonna fail. It's not gonna work.
<v Speaker 1>So that's a very important aspect that some people don't
<v Speaker 1>think about. It's a time commitment, you know, and if
<v Speaker 1>you're not willing to put the time into it, then
<v Speaker 1>you shouldn't be doing it. But you don't really have
<v Speaker 1>to break the bank on equipment. I mean, you could
<v Speaker 1>start out, you know, with like a basic USB microphone.
<v Speaker 1>You don't even have to be on camera. It's very
<v Speaker 1>easy to start, you know. It's harder to build an
<v Speaker 1>audience and find your voice and be successful at it.
<v Speaker 1>Have you seen the unreleased Fantastic Four movie from nineteen
<v Speaker 1>ninety four, directed by Roger Korman? No, No, I have
<v Speaker 1>not buy or sell the Fantastic Four or The X Men.
<v Speaker 1>The x Men thinking about making a comic book series
<v Speaker 1>of domin Mysterio as the hero and uncle Howdy as
<v Speaker 1>the villain and Live Morgan as Dom's love interest. I
<v Speaker 1>think that sounds like an interesting idea. Have you done
<v Speaker 1>comics before? Do you think we will get a Dominic
<v Speaker 1>mysterio versus Uncle Howdy match down the road? I don't.
<v Speaker 1>I don't. I mean, they're not even on the same
<v Speaker 1>brand right now. If you were asked to cast Harley
<v Speaker 1>Quinn in a brand new Tim Burton Batman movie in
<v Speaker 1>the nineties, who would you cast as Harley Quinn at
<v Speaker 1>the time? Brother, I don't even remember who all of
<v Speaker 1>the famous actresses were back in the nineties outside of
<v Speaker 1>a handful. I thought you were gonna say, now, I
<v Speaker 1>would say Live. I think Live Morgan could play a
<v Speaker 1>good Harley Quinn. But back then, Live Morgan was was
<v Speaker 1>Liv Morgan alive? Back then? My god? Was liv Morgan
<v Speaker 1>even alive back in the nineties? Yeah? She was right?
<v Speaker 1>But when would she have been born? She was probably
<v Speaker 1>born in the late nineties. What is she twenty eight,
<v Speaker 1>twenty eight, twenty nine. Yeah, he's probably born around ninety six,
<v Speaker 1>ninety seven. Harley Cameron as Harley Quinn now, Pamela Anderson,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's a good I don't think that's
<v Speaker 1>good casting for that role. Yeah, I would say Alexibliss,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm pretty sure Alexa Bliss was probably like six
<v Speaker 1>years old back then. So you want to have a
<v Speaker 1>young Harley Quinn. I guess that could work. Have you
<v Speaker 1>seen the Sylvester Stallone movie Judge Dredd? No? Never saw it,
<v Speaker 1>Believe it or not. I never saw Judge Dredd, never
<v Speaker 1>saw Demolition Man. Do you remember Batman villain Killer Croc? Yes?
<v Speaker 1>I do. I think they could have swapped out Baine
<v Speaker 1>in Batman and Robin for Killer Croc if they wanted to.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think Jacob fought Too will have a career
<v Speaker 1>as an actor in Hollywood? I don't. I think some
<v Speaker 1>people are sort of destined to do that. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see that in his future. Do you remember
<v Speaker 1>Batman villain the Mad Hatter? I do remember him, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I do. Kind of reminded me of that guy from
<v Speaker 1>Willy Wonka. Are you going to see the Rocks new movie?
<v Speaker 1>I am not, Victor. Do you consider mister Backland's Heel
<v Speaker 1>Run underrated? I don't. I don't think underrated is the
<v Speaker 1>right word for it. I think not enough people know
<v Speaker 1>about it, But I think the people who watched it
<v Speaker 1>and lived through it, I think they rate it pretty highly,
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know if underrated is really the right
<v Speaker 1>word for it. Victor says, buy or sell Rick Flair
<v Speaker 1>eighties or Shawn Michael's nineties, Rick Flair eighties and top
<v Speaker 1>five best and worst years of the WWE product. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know about top five, but nineteen ninety five is
<v Speaker 1>if it's not the worst, it's definitely in the bottom tier.
<v Speaker 1>There was some good stuff, but not nearly enough good stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And then also I love like twenty eighteen. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there were some years in that late twenty tens period
<v Speaker 1>where it got it got pretty bad in terms of
<v Speaker 1>best though. I mean to me, honestly, you know, obviously
<v Speaker 1>the golden era, right you think of the golden era,
<v Speaker 1>you think of the late eighties, nineteen ninety seven is
<v Speaker 1>probably it's ninety seven and two thousand, I think, or
<v Speaker 1>two of the top years in the history of the company.
<v Speaker 1>Ninety seven was a very pivotal, like turning point year,
<v Speaker 1>and if you go back and watch the product from
<v Speaker 1>ninety seven, especially what was going on at the top
<v Speaker 1>of the card, I don't think anything right now compares
<v Speaker 1>to what was going on back then, like, I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>nothing compares to it. Death Side says also, I was
<v Speaker 1>thinking at either Raw in Boston or MSG, John Cena
<v Speaker 1>could call out Jacob Fatu at the start of the show,
<v Speaker 1>after all, he name dropped him during his program with
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul. Yeah, but I don't see why John Cena
<v Speaker 1>would call anybody out. Johnsen has made it very clear
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't lobby for opponents, and he's never lobbied for
<v Speaker 1>one in character on TV either, So he's just gonna
<v Speaker 1>randomly come out and say, Jacob Fatu, I want you.
<v Speaker 1>It just doesn't make sense, Like the setup to that
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really make sense, he says, as someone who wants
<v Speaker 1>as someone he wanted to wrestle. Jacob accepts, and in
<v Speaker 1>the main event of the show, towards the end of
<v Speaker 1>the match, there's a referee bump fat two has seen
<v Speaker 1>it down for the three count. Then Drew lays out
<v Speaker 1>fa two and drags Seena's unconscious body on top of
<v Speaker 1>Jacob for the referee to count the three on Jacob.
<v Speaker 1>I see what you're trying to do there, but I
<v Speaker 1>just I'm not a fan of that's set up. I
<v Speaker 1>just don't think it works. I think it just I
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't loop Scena into that. I wouldn't loop scene into
<v Speaker 1>that Super Mario, Galaxy, Sonic Four, Avengers, Secret Wars, and
<v Speaker 1>the Legend of Zelda movies are all coming out in
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty seven. Can we just skip twenty twenty six, please,
<v Speaker 1>so you could tell that you grew up in an
<v Speaker 1>era with like the best video games, because how many
<v Speaker 1>years has it been since those first games came out?
<v Speaker 1>And they're still they're making movies about them. They're making
<v Speaker 1>a Legend of Zelda movie GMB with the four ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine solo. I know you've been wanting a Bianca heel run. However,
<v Speaker 1>I get the vibe that she is against it. Lastly,
<v Speaker 1>even noted this on a podcast last year. What are
<v Speaker 1>your thoughts. She may well be against it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it may be something that she doesn't want to do.
<v Speaker 1>I have never heard her explicitly say that, though, but
<v Speaker 1>it's it's possible. I still feel like she's got a
<v Speaker 1>really good heel run in here. She doesn't want to
<v Speaker 1>do it. She doesn't want to do it, but I
<v Speaker 1>hope she does at some point. Bobert reviews with the
<v Speaker 1>sixty nine dollars. Thank you, Bobert. I appreciate that. Terrence
<v Speaker 1>Thompson shout out from Akron, love the show. Shout out
<v Speaker 1>to Terrence, shout out to Akron. Got an email from
<v Speaker 1>somebody in Akron a few months ago, so you're not
<v Speaker 1>the only SoundOff fan in Akron. Brandon Proctor with the
<v Speaker 1>Fifteen Brothers solo Oscar is not happy. Yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why. Maybe the old school elimination match is happening
<v Speaker 1>in NXT is a sign that we might get more
<v Speaker 1>eventually on the main roster. Now, I think it's just sewn.
<v Speaker 1>Michael's doing his own thing. But you know, maybe maybe
<v Speaker 1>Triple H sees it. Maybe you know, he'll he'll resurrect it.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he can have one for the men and
<v Speaker 1>one for the women. It's always possible. We got super
<v Speaker 1>hot vector men. If AW and TNA do compete, who
<v Speaker 1>would win in the end? Ae W and TNA AW
<v Speaker 1>their roster their bench is much deeper than TNA's got
<v Speaker 1>some of the best wrestlers in the world in that company.
<v Speaker 1>Mister Rod that the five had a friend of mine
<v Speaker 1>say last week. The don Kallis family has become the
<v Speaker 1>AW version of the nWo. I strongly agree, well, except
<v Speaker 1>the nWo made money, so it's big difference there. The
<v Speaker 1>Mount Vernon kid Christopher Bennett. If you guys doubted the Hardys,
<v Speaker 1>you're a fool. I said coming into the show they
<v Speaker 1>were going to win those belts. I never doubted they
<v Speaker 1>were going to win. Mister Rod says, First off, happy
<v Speaker 1>belated birthday, hope, it was great. Second page against Ali
<v Speaker 1>was what they call cinema amazing match. It was the
<v Speaker 1>match of the night, match of the night on either show.
<v Speaker 1>Right there, we got Boots with the ten. WWE's YouTube
<v Speaker 1>channel uploaded a five minute, thirty second video of nothing
<v Speaker 1>but Stephanie Vicaire's Devil's Kiss. Took me twenty two minutes
<v Speaker 1>to watch it because I was watching it in zero
<v Speaker 1>point two five speed for research purposes. I see Boots
<v Speaker 1>really had himself a free day today. I wish I
<v Speaker 1>had a free day like that, not this week, I
<v Speaker 1>don't Sidrow. Sidrow says, why was the putting sad and
<v Speaker 1>half his old self because his parents divorced and got split?
<v Speaker 1>Custard d Now, what do you call a woman that
<v Speaker 1>sets her taxes on fire? Bernadette heard that one on
<v Speaker 1>TNT a couple of weeks ago. Very clever. It is
<v Speaker 1>a clever one, but I have heard that one for
<v Speaker 1>Sedro says, you would think finding your lost luggage in
<v Speaker 1>an airport would be easy. That's not the case. And
<v Speaker 1>the doctor said I need to replace my spine. I
<v Speaker 1>was set to get one, but later the doctor found
<v Speaker 1>that all spines are on permanent back order. Cedro says,
<v Speaker 1>what do you get if you cross a tree and
<v Speaker 1>a dog? God? Lots of bark? And did you hear
<v Speaker 1>about the testicular cancer survivor who won the lottery When
<v Speaker 1>he found out, he went nuts? He went nuts. He said,
<v Speaker 1>I like the bark one. The bark the bark one
<v Speaker 1>is is kind of clever, although I think the lost
<v Speaker 1>luggage one is my favorite. Ragnarok. Once upon a time,
<v Speaker 1>a Knockouts team would have Taylor Wilde, the Beautiful People,
<v Speaker 1>Tara Tara or Tara Tara, Daphne, Awesome Kong or ODB.
<v Speaker 1>This was NXT versus NXT and brother. The majority of
<v Speaker 1>it was NXT against NXT. I said, the entire women's
<v Speaker 1>team is made up of people that really are not
<v Speaker 1>They're more associated with WWE or NXT than they are
<v Speaker 1>with TNA. That's sad that they couldn't find one person.
<v Speaker 1>Tuxedo t Servo belated Happy birthday, A year older, a
<v Speaker 1>year wiser. I like to think, so thank you, Tuxedo.
<v Speaker 1>I saw your email before, part of it before or
<v Speaker 1>I started working tonight. I hope you're doing well wrestling, Russ.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry late tonight, got that bug, I am continued, got
<v Speaker 1>that bug? You have a bug. I have my own
<v Speaker 1>bug I'm dealing with here, but it might be different
<v Speaker 1>from your bug. I hope you're not sick. I am
<v Speaker 1>continuing to pray for you and your family. I wish
<v Speaker 1>you well, brother Russ. I appreciate that very much. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the ten spot, Thank you for the kind words.
<v Speaker 1>MGM Ballin with the nine ninety nine, Aaron Judge finally
<v Speaker 1>had his signature playoff moment. Yeah, I saw that. I
<v Speaker 1>saw that he tied that game up and then they
<v Speaker 1>went up seven to six, and I didn't see what
<v Speaker 1>happened after that. So I hope they won, because if
<v Speaker 1>they lost, that's going to be pretty bad. I'm assuming
<v Speaker 1>they won. What would Powerhouse Hobbs call it if he did?
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes do Neme move Meaty meaty Aura. Sorry, Solo, here's
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker, the meaty Aura. It's not bad.
<v Speaker 1>It's not bad. That's something Sidro would say. Barry MK
<v Speaker 1>four hundred really hope or really had hope that it
<v Speaker 1>was going to be Izzy Moreno facing Mercedes. I've seen
<v Speaker 1>a lot of her matches. She's done good so far.
<v Speaker 1>Could have been huge for her. That would have been interesting.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't find out until the other day. Apparently I'm blocked.
<v Speaker 1>No idea why you'd be surprised how long that list is.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Barry. We got mactub as a Dean Ambrose
<v Speaker 1>fan who never watched him in aw feuds segments or matches.
<v Speaker 1>Would you recommend buy or sell W W E. Dean
<v Speaker 1>or AE W. Moxley. You know, I've really not been
<v Speaker 1>much of a fan of a lot of what Moxley
<v Speaker 1>has done this year prior to this though, and I
<v Speaker 1>was it last year. It was two years ago, maybe
<v Speaker 1>two or three years ago. Uh, he was he was
<v Speaker 1>the MVP, you know, I mean they Tony Kahn always
<v Speaker 1>fell back on him when there was controversy, when there
<v Speaker 1>was an injury. You know, he Moxley in many ways
<v Speaker 1>was his security blanket. You know. He was that old,
<v Speaker 1>reliable hand who had a name that he could fall
<v Speaker 1>back on and put his world title on if he
<v Speaker 1>had to. And he has had some really good matches,
<v Speaker 1>you know, with Brian Danielson and Lance Archer many years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and Kenny Omega. I don't know if I have you know,
<v Speaker 1>it's funny. I don't know if I have like one
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley match that's my personal, like all time aw favorite,
<v Speaker 1>but definitely you know, I would say, check out that
<v Speaker 1>match he had with Danielson. God was a revolution. Might
<v Speaker 1>have been a revolution a few years ago. So anyway
<v Speaker 1>between you know, WWE Ambrose and AW Moxley. Having said
<v Speaker 1>what I said about his stuff this year, which I'm
<v Speaker 1>not really a big fan of, I still gotta go
<v Speaker 1>aw Moxley because he's been so much more important to
<v Speaker 1>this company and he's come across as a bigger star,
<v Speaker 1>you know than he did in the Ambrose role. Any
<v Speaker 1>angle or match that made you cry for me, it
<v Speaker 1>was Cody and Dustin h Yeah, I was the Reunion
<v Speaker 1>of the Macho Man and Elizabeth Wrestle Minnie seven brings
<v Speaker 1>a tear to my eye every time. And then there
<v Speaker 1>are other angles and matches that made me cry for
<v Speaker 1>very different reasons too many to name. Yeah, Moxley in Japan.
<v Speaker 1>Moxie went through that period where he was in Japan.
<v Speaker 1>He had some matches there. Yeah, I mean I gotta
<v Speaker 1>go Moxley over Ambrose on the whole, it'd be money.
<v Speaker 1>What's going on? Plus Ultra Adrian is happy belated birthday, Sola,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you Adrian. Adrian joining in on the party here,
<v Speaker 1>Bass Beers says Wednesday Night Titans. Yes, we're flipping the
<v Speaker 1>two days. Also, Yankees went from one one six to
<v Speaker 1>nine six. Okay, so I guess they won. And Sidra,
<v Speaker 1>why do zombies love eating human skin? Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>it's refleshing? He said, Oh fuck, you're so away. That
<v Speaker 1>wasn't what I meant to hit. I was gonna hit this.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, we got really we got really harsh there
<v Speaker 1>with with Sidrow. I hit the wrong button. It wasn't
<v Speaker 1>that bad anyway. Uh, four hundred and fourteen likes. So
<v Speaker 1>there you go. We hit we hit both goals. We
<v Speaker 1>hit both goals, so that means we're doing double b
<v Speaker 1>the booker here, dive into it here before I fuck
<v Speaker 1>up again. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. Oh, I've heard worst jokes that would
<v Speaker 1>deserve that. That's not one of them, he says, No,
<v Speaker 1>that was the appropriate reaction. All right, Tag Team boy,
<v Speaker 1>we had a harsh chat here, he says, Now that
<v Speaker 1>was you had it right. Boomerang says, you had it right.
<v Speaker 1>I'm crying here. All right, we have alpha academies kicking
<v Speaker 1>us off here. Tag Team be the booker. Chad Gable
<v Speaker 1>and Otis. I do miss Chad Gable on TV. Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable and Otis against the Shield, Roman Reigns and Seth Brawlin.
<v Speaker 1>I have a feeling this right here. Maybe you're wrestlemaning
<v Speaker 1>a forty two main event. Get ready? Tell me those
<v Speaker 1>belts are not far superior to any of the tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles that they've used in the last twenty five years.
<v Speaker 1>Why did they just update this design? These belts are
<v Speaker 1>so much better. Women's be the booker. We have Natalia,
<v Speaker 1>Natalia taking on Mercedes money. It's too bad she didn't
<v Speaker 1>answer the open challenge today. I think she's residing in
<v Speaker 1>Florida these days. She could have been the Florida woman
<v Speaker 1>that Mercedes was looking for in the Open Challenge. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Triple H has let Natty work blood Sport GCW I
<v Speaker 1>think and Nwa man I guess, I guess he turned
<v Speaker 1>down the quest for her to work. Aw I'm shocked.
<v Speaker 1>And our main event be the Booker is over. Oh no,
<v Speaker 1>after the Wyat six massacred the roster. Oh no, oh no,
<v Speaker 1>blame the Wyatts, Blame the Wyatts, everybody. They massacred the
<v Speaker 1>entire roster. We have lost our b the Booker main event.
<v Speaker 1>That's the bad news. The good news is that that
<v Speaker 1>does not affect the bonus round that was unlocked, which
<v Speaker 1>means we're not done yet. We lost our main event.
<v Speaker 1>We can't get that back. There's nothing we can do there,
<v Speaker 1>but we are still doing our bonus round. We do
<v Speaker 1>not lose the bonus round. All right, We're gonna kick
<v Speaker 1>things off here with an I quit match. John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Darby Allen gonna be having one of these here
<v Speaker 1>in a few weeks. I quit, not me. That's the stipulation. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I quit tag team match. If I tell you what,
<v Speaker 1>if I land on the Wyats again, then that's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be it. Those are the rules, so you better hope
<v Speaker 1>we don't land on them. We got pretty deadly Kit
<v Speaker 1>Wilson and Elton Prince in an I quit tag team
<v Speaker 1>match against the British Bulldog. I hat look at that.
<v Speaker 1>Two British teams, two British teams in an I quit match.
<v Speaker 1>Can you do tag team? Of course you can. If
<v Speaker 1>one member of the team quits, that's it. The match
<v Speaker 1>is over. Oh it's our friend Vince Russo. Bro. We
<v Speaker 1>have an on a pole match. Bro. I got a
<v Speaker 1>great idea. BRO. We're gonna put something on a pole.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter what it is. BRO. You can have
<v Speaker 1>a pinata on a pole filled with Viagara. Bro. The
<v Speaker 1>women's match is going to be a poll match, not
<v Speaker 1>the best stipulation, and we have to decide what are
<v Speaker 1>we putting on this pole. We have Victoria. Somebody mentioned
<v Speaker 1>Tara from TNA. I believe she's gonna be inducting Mickey
<v Speaker 1>James into the TNA Hall of Fame this weekend. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how Victoria is not in the WWE Hall
<v Speaker 1>of Fame. That's another issue. We got Victoria gonna go
<v Speaker 1>one on one with Tiffany Stratton, another era Tiffany Stratton
<v Speaker 1>now against Victoria from her peak run. There would have
<v Speaker 1>been a very good match. Oh but this is on
<v Speaker 1>a poll. What are we putting on the pole? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I think they could still make it work.
<v Speaker 1>I think they could still make it work. All right,
<v Speaker 1>we lost our first main event. We cannot lose back
<v Speaker 1>to back main events. That cannot happen. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>I wish we would lose this main event a Punjabi
<v Speaker 1>prison match. You know, I booked myself in a Punjabi
<v Speaker 1>prison match once. Here. What is with these stipulations tonight?
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of begging for the wyots Now we lost addresses,
<v Speaker 1>we lost. It's already a lost cause. We have the
<v Speaker 1>t today World champion Trick Williams is going to be
<v Speaker 1>I bet they didn't train him for that at the PC.
<v Speaker 1>Trick Williams is going to be in this Punjabi prison match.
<v Speaker 1>God help us, and he will be defending I guess
<v Speaker 1>that championship against Kofi Kingston. Kofi Kingston and Trick Williams
<v Speaker 1>in a Punjabi prison match. That is a very unsatisfying
<v Speaker 1>conclusion to be the booker here day after my birthday.
<v Speaker 1>I was hoping for a better outcome here. We'll have
<v Speaker 1>to try again next time. Stipulation ruined ITHI man, just
<v Speaker 1>they just they've ruined it. What can I say? Sidra says,
<v Speaker 1>bringing this gold joke back for you, solo Fyi. Gonerrhea
<v Speaker 1>would have been a good name for diarrhea medicine. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's my favorite. The first time I heard that,
<v Speaker 1>I lost it because it's just it. It actually makes all
<v Speaker 1>the sense in the world. I could see why they.
<v Speaker 1>You know, a company would not want to name their
<v Speaker 1>product gone a rhea. I understand why, but if you
<v Speaker 1>think about it, it kind of makes sense. B money
<v Speaker 1>oh four. Have you seen the AI videos going around
<v Speaker 1>the past few days of Tupac Biggie and Eddie Guerrero
<v Speaker 1>just to name it? Yeah, you know, I saw the
<v Speaker 1>Benoa one. I hate them all. I really don't like them.
<v Speaker 1>It's just very unsettling, and I do wonder, you know,
<v Speaker 1>in some of these cases. There was one that I
<v Speaker 1>saw with Kobe and it looks I mean, it looks
<v Speaker 1>just like him, and it sounds just like him, and
<v Speaker 1>it just makes me wonder, you know, like if you're
<v Speaker 1>a family man and you see this shit going around,
<v Speaker 1>like I don't know, like it just doesn't sit well
<v Speaker 1>with me, just a very you know, it's it's it's
<v Speaker 1>a weird thing too, because I could see where, you know,
<v Speaker 1>a technology like that for some people, like who maybe
<v Speaker 1>lost a loved one. I could see some people actually
<v Speaker 1>wanting to like embrace that. It's like you're resurrecting them
<v Speaker 1>and bringing them back to life. Like on a personal level,
<v Speaker 1>I could see where maybe that could be something some
<v Speaker 1>people would like welcome. But like, imagine you're one of
<v Speaker 1>their family members and like, all over your fucking social
<v Speaker 1>media feed, is this like AI video of your father
<v Speaker 1>who was you know, killed ten years ago, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and it's like plastered right there on your script. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it's just it's just very strange. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I saw all those videos and I don't like them.
<v Speaker 1>Sidra says, who named the planet Uranus an astronomer, death
<v Speaker 1>sithe scariest movie of all time would be what goes
<v Speaker 1>on in Vince McMahon's head. How much alcohol would we
<v Speaker 1>need to get through it? Forget alcohol, I think we
<v Speaker 1>would need multiple therapy sessions to get through it. And
<v Speaker 1>Arabian Night two thousand Moose has done everything in TNA.
<v Speaker 1>He would be a good addition to WWE, maybe as
<v Speaker 1>an enforcer for Melo to start. I would have replaced
<v Speaker 1>Mara with an og in Rosemary. Yeah, Rosemary. Rosemary would
<v Speaker 1>have been a good fit for that team. But yeah, Moose,
<v Speaker 1>I think Moose will end up in WWE. I think
<v Speaker 1>Moose when he had that match with Oba back in
<v Speaker 1>March at Roadblock, I think that that match, probably more
<v Speaker 1>than any other, really elevated his stock in the eyes
<v Speaker 1>of people in WA. And I don't know what his
<v Speaker 1>contract situation is. You know, Joe Hendry's contract is going
<v Speaker 1>to be up soon. He's got a deal waiting for
<v Speaker 1>him in WWE. If Moose's deal is up sometime next year,
<v Speaker 1>I would guess that he's WWE bound. Yeah, because like
<v Speaker 1>you said, he has spent a very long time in TNA.
<v Speaker 1>It feels like he's done all that he can do.
<v Speaker 1>They are about to very likely get a new television deal,
<v Speaker 1>so they're going to really need as many stars as
<v Speaker 1>they can muster. Maybe Moose would be one of those
<v Speaker 1>stars they would want to build around. But it does
<v Speaker 1>feel like he's done all he can do and it's
<v Speaker 1>time for him to, you know, move up to that
<v Speaker 1>next level. MGM ball and I don't know if my
<v Speaker 1>member chat came through. Oh you know, I haven't gone
<v Speaker 1>through them yet because they come up in a different windows,
<v Speaker 1>so I have to look at them separately. So I'll
<v Speaker 1>bring those up. But he says, happy belated birthday, Solo.
<v Speaker 1>See you on Friday for hog I will see you there.
<v Speaker 1>There's gonna be a lot of people in the building
<v Speaker 1>on Friday. We're six rows deep and there's still some
<v Speaker 1>limited tickets on sale. We opened up some new stage
<v Speaker 1>seating general admission. It's gonna be a big night. MGM Balling, Yep,
<v Speaker 1>I see it right here. Fifteen months of membership, Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>MGM Balling. Can we expect a TNA and TRIPAA invasion
<v Speaker 1>on the next WWE game? I wonder how that would
<v Speaker 1>work in terms of do these wrestlers even get royalties
<v Speaker 1>anymore from these games? I used to hear about how
<v Speaker 1>lucrative the royalties were for the video games. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>hear about that anymore under TKO, everything is so different.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know how any of that works. You know,
<v Speaker 1>you got Kevin Nash on his podcast talking about you know,
<v Speaker 1>his royalty checks are like half of what they used
<v Speaker 1>to be, and you know Waltman. He was talking to Waltman.
<v Speaker 1>Waltman was saying the same thing. I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>that would work if you had wrestlers from other companies
<v Speaker 1>in your video game. I don't know. Will you go
<v Speaker 1>to the NXT show in November at the theater at
<v Speaker 1>Madison Square Garden? Probably not. What day is that November?
<v Speaker 1>Is that November eighteenth? Is that the day after the
<v Speaker 1>raw show at the Garden? Probably not. I can only
<v Speaker 1>imagine what those tickets will be worth. I will be
<v Speaker 1>working that night. That is what I will be doing.
<v Speaker 1>I will be working a lot later this week as well.
<v Speaker 1>Friday night a little programming note, I will not be here.
<v Speaker 1>I will be at the House of Glory show. Saturday
<v Speaker 1>is Crown Jewel, eight o'clock in the morning. I am
<v Speaker 1>thinking about going live mid afternoon, maybe about three o'clock.
<v Speaker 1>I'll let you guys know. It will not be right after,
<v Speaker 1>will not be immediately after the show is over, but
<v Speaker 1>it definitely will not be a late stream that night.
<v Speaker 1>But I will be live on Saturday afternoon for that.
<v Speaker 1>We have the podcast on Sunday. I'm probably gonna be
<v Speaker 1>live after bound for Glory. On Sunday night, I covered Slammiversary.
<v Speaker 1>I think I'll do the same for Bound for Glory.
<v Speaker 1>So that is what's coming up. I believe, I do believe.
<v Speaker 1>We are doing TNT in our normal time tomorrow. We're
<v Speaker 1>just flipping Tuesday for Wednesday this week only. So there's
<v Speaker 1>that and some good stuff. So if you missed the
<v Speaker 1>raw post show, we have fun last night three hours worth,
<v Speaker 1>go back and check that out as well as episode
<v Speaker 1>nine thirty two of the sound Off. The next time
<v Speaker 1>you see my face here live on this stream will
<v Speaker 1>be Saturday for Crown Jewel. Go check out my predictions
<v Speaker 1>for Crown Jewel. They're up on the channel as well.
<v Speaker 1>Be well, stay safe. Thank you again for all of
<v Speaker 1>the birthday love, Osuque you are the man, all of you.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you very much, and I'll see you back here
<v Speaker 1>real soon for more sound Off on YouTube. Until then,
<v Speaker 1>take care, guys,
