<v Speaker 1>Well, it definitely wasn't a C show this time. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's safe to say Crown Jewel is in the books.
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel was a very good show. Crown Jewel is
<v Speaker 1>more like in the B plus range. I would say
<v Speaker 1>if the last show was to see, this is definitely
<v Speaker 1>in the range of a BB plus because I enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>this show. I enjoyed largely this show off the back
<v Speaker 1>of one match in particular, which was John Cena and
<v Speaker 1>AJ Styles. You removed that match from this card, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to be so generous. It was still
<v Speaker 1>a good show, but not nearly as good if you
<v Speaker 1>took that match out. And I will point out to
<v Speaker 1>you because I think it's worth pointing out that since
<v Speaker 1>his return to being a babyface after that failed heel
<v Speaker 1>run at the beginning of the year, John Cena, right
<v Speaker 1>before SummerSlam, right went back to being a babyface again.
<v Speaker 1>And here's a guy who and I will admit because
<v Speaker 1>I was one of these people who was saying it
<v Speaker 1>when John Cena would show up on occasion to do
<v Speaker 1>a match over the last few years, when John Cena
<v Speaker 1>would come in and have you know, a singles match
<v Speaker 1>of WrestleMania with Austin Theory a couple of years ago.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you hear things like, oh, he's washed. That's it.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't have it anymore, he can't go anymore. The
<v Speaker 1>man is washed. Right for a guy who was washed,
<v Speaker 1>I will point out to you that John Cena has
<v Speaker 1>stolen the show on three of the last four pls.
<v Speaker 1>So that doesn't sound like a guy who's washed me.
<v Speaker 1>It sounds like a guy who still has it within
<v Speaker 1>him to pull out something very special if the circumstances
<v Speaker 1>are right, and if he has the right dance partner
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with him. He proved that at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>He proved it in Paris with Logan Paul because they
<v Speaker 1>had the best match on that show, and he proved
<v Speaker 1>it tonight at Crown Jewel with Aj Styles because these
<v Speaker 1>two men went out there and they had a fantastic match.
<v Speaker 1>They rekindled a lot of that old chemistry that they
<v Speaker 1>had when they began their feud back in twenty sixteen.
<v Speaker 1>And if you really look at all of the matches
<v Speaker 1>they had prior to this show, they have never had
<v Speaker 1>a bad match before. Never from the very first match
<v Speaker 1>that they had at Money in the Bank until that
<v Speaker 1>very last big pl match they had at the Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble We're Sena one number sixteen, and even the television
<v Speaker 1>match on SmackDown the year after that. Every single time
<v Speaker 1>these two get in the ring together, they put on
<v Speaker 1>an absolute masterclass in the ring. That again, you just
<v Speaker 1>have certain opponents that can bring the best out of you.
<v Speaker 1>That's what we got with John Cena and Cmpunk. That's
<v Speaker 1>what we got many times with John Cena and Edge Right,
<v Speaker 1>you didn't always get it, but with the right person.
<v Speaker 1>AJ Styles was that person. I will also point out
<v Speaker 1>to you that, and I was actually a little surprised.
<v Speaker 1>I don't recall the announcers even mentioning this. They mentioned
<v Speaker 1>it on TV during the week, but I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they mentioned this on the show. CERT didn't when the
<v Speaker 1>match was over. This was John Cena's one hundredth pl
<v Speaker 1>E win, So he now sits in second place all
<v Speaker 1>time in WWE, second only to the Undertaker with one
<v Speaker 1>oh seven. And obviously he's not going to pass the
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker because John Cena has I guess one ple E
<v Speaker 1>left unless you count Saturday Night's Made event as a
<v Speaker 1>premium live event, which I don't Uh, he's only got
<v Speaker 1>one left and that is Survivor Series. Actually, John Cena
<v Speaker 1>only has four dates left in general, and that is it.
<v Speaker 1>That is it. So much time wasted on that heel run.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we're going to look back on it and
<v Speaker 1>there'll be the post mortem and everything once scene is
<v Speaker 1>actually done. But I'll tell you what, this last leg
<v Speaker 1>of the retirement tour, I am greatly enjoying it. I
<v Speaker 1>only wish we had more time and we could have
<v Speaker 1>made better use of this year. But this was a
<v Speaker 1>match I was hoping to get when they first announced
<v Speaker 1>that he was going to be going on this retirement tour.
<v Speaker 1>And you make you know, everyone makes their list the
<v Speaker 1>top five, top ten people you want to see him
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with, and I don't know that there
<v Speaker 1>would have been a single person who wouldn't have had
<v Speaker 1>aj Styles on that list. So I'm very happy we
<v Speaker 1>got the match. We got a lot of callbacks in
<v Speaker 1>this match. We've got a lot of people who were honored.
<v Speaker 1>I guess you would say by either Sina or AJ
<v Speaker 1>past foes of theirs, because remember, John Cena is not
<v Speaker 1>the only one whose career was coming to an end
<v Speaker 1>very soon. AJ Styles has already made it very clear
<v Speaker 1>he has done in the year twenty twenty six. He
<v Speaker 1>made it very clear in Australia again this week. So
<v Speaker 1>to see him making, you know, or putting together these
<v Speaker 1>moves to pay respect to people like staying in Samoa Joe,
<v Speaker 1>and then you see John Cena in there paying homage
<v Speaker 1>to all the men that he's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>able to step into the ring with because there's not
<v Speaker 1>enough time left. Whether it's Rusev or whether it's the
<v Speaker 1>Miz or whoever, it is only added to the match.
<v Speaker 1>It was just a really enjoyable twenty seven minutes, I
<v Speaker 1>want to say. Now, contrast that with another match on
<v Speaker 1>the show that went about his long and actually a
<v Speaker 1>little bit longer than the Scena an Aj match, and
<v Speaker 1>that match when it was over, I felt like there
<v Speaker 1>was no reason for that match to be as long
<v Speaker 1>as it was right. You could you could tell them
<v Speaker 1>the level of enjoyment I had for each of these matches.
<v Speaker 1>You had the Scena match where the thought never crossed
<v Speaker 1>my mind of oh, you know, this match has gone
<v Speaker 1>a little too long as compared to the main event,
<v Speaker 1>which was not a bad match, but that match I
<v Speaker 1>definitely felt like there was no reason for this match
<v Speaker 1>to be going thirty minutes, which is what it went.
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins is your Crown Jewel Champion for twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>Last year it was Cody. This year at Seth, nobody
<v Speaker 1>should be surprised by that. They came into this match.
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins was in a zero for three hole right now.
<v Speaker 1>If this were the oh, I don't know, the Red Sox,
<v Speaker 1>let's say, of two thousand and four with the Yankees, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you would. You would expect them. They're gonna climb out
<v Speaker 1>of that hole and make history. I mean, who could
<v Speaker 1>have predicted that? But you look at the numbers here
<v Speaker 1>and it's just like, what does Cody Rhodes have to
<v Speaker 1>gain by beating some Deth Rollins? Absolutely nothing? Right that
<v Speaker 1>the outcome here was preordained from the moment they announced
<v Speaker 1>the match, But they try to wrap it around this
<v Speaker 1>story of Seth Rollins and Paul Hayman in self doubt
<v Speaker 1>creeping in and I have to win, I must win
<v Speaker 1>bron breaker and Bronson Reid going to Paul Hayman and saying, well,
<v Speaker 1>what happens if Seth loses? And Hayman telling Rollins right,
<v Speaker 1>the other week. You want to know what happens if
<v Speaker 1>you lose, You lose the respect of your peers, you
<v Speaker 1>lose the respect of your fellow Vision members. They no
<v Speaker 1>longer believe in the vision that you are putting forth,
<v Speaker 1>and they want you to believe that a Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>loss here could be catastrophic for this faction. It could
<v Speaker 1>very well be the end of the Vision. But you
<v Speaker 1>had to know coming in this was not going to
<v Speaker 1>be the end of the Vision. In fact, it only
<v Speaker 1>made sense that this night would make the Vision even stronger,
<v Speaker 1>which meant Seth Rollins had to win, and it meant
<v Speaker 1>that Bronson Reid had to win his match against Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns because a loser he would look like had he
<v Speaker 1>come in and lost his second straight pl match to
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. And I'm happy to say they did the
<v Speaker 1>right thing, and in fact, Bronson Reid did come out
<v Speaker 1>of this show on the winning end of things. But
<v Speaker 1>we'll get into all the different matches here. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>we also had Rhea, Ripley and Eosky against Oscar and
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie saying that story's been playing itself out now for
<v Speaker 1>several months on WWE television, and I mentioned Bronson Reid
<v Speaker 1>the biggest win of his career on this show, and
<v Speaker 1>then we had another Crown Jewel Championship match with a women,
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Vaquierre Tiffany Stratton. Unlike the Cody Rhods and Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins match which was actually coming into this show, had
<v Speaker 1>the best story. It had the richest history of any
<v Speaker 1>of the matches on this show, which is kind of
<v Speaker 1>funny now that I look back at this that we're
<v Speaker 1>talking about this five match pl e right, a Triple
<v Speaker 1>H special, and of all the matches on the card,
<v Speaker 1>the match that I enjoyed the most and to me,
<v Speaker 1>inarguably the best match on the entire show was the
<v Speaker 1>one that had absolutely no story. I mean, they have
<v Speaker 1>a history together, but that's not the story. There's no
<v Speaker 1>story about this match. They decided to put together a
<v Speaker 1>match between these two guys, knowing that, yeah, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>Sena wanted to work with him, but they put this
<v Speaker 1>match together because now they wanted to put together this
<v Speaker 1>dream match that they could promote for the show. Sena
<v Speaker 1>never appeared once on television. We had not seen John
<v Speaker 1>Cena at all since he got destroyed by Brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>at Wressell Palooza. They just announced the match, but that
<v Speaker 1>was the best thing on the entire show. Now, Stephanieva
<v Speaker 1>kaeron Tiffitty Stratton, no story there whatsoever. We have this
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jeweled Championship, which is bigger than most of the
<v Speaker 1>women they have on the fucking roster, and we had
<v Speaker 1>the champion on one brand facing the champion on the
<v Speaker 1>other brand for an even bigger belt that we will
<v Speaker 1>not see again for another three hundred and sixty five days.
<v Speaker 1>Not much to it. Really not a bad match, but
<v Speaker 1>not a whole lot to it, and definitely not something
<v Speaker 1>that anybody who's going to go back and have the
<v Speaker 1>hankering to go watch again. But when the show is over,
<v Speaker 1>I felt like there was nothing bad on the show,
<v Speaker 1>and there's one thing, one thing that is going to
<v Speaker 1>be memorable. If there's one thing that I do think
<v Speaker 1>people are going to go back and relive and watch
<v Speaker 1>over time, it is the scene of aj match. Everything
<v Speaker 1>else on the show really just felt mostly inconsequential and
<v Speaker 1>not particularly memorable. And that was really the story of
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel. I thought it was an enjoyable three hours.
<v Speaker 1>It was really all about one match, but it was
<v Speaker 1>better than Russell Palooza. I will say that this is
<v Speaker 1>your WWE Crown Jewel Perth review. It is Saturday, October eleventh,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five. I am the Solemn Monster. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>did see on the Post Show they brought Triple H
<v Speaker 1>out again the way they do the Post shows now
<v Speaker 1>because they don't do the media quote unquote scrums anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So they have the panel which is usually Jackie red
<v Speaker 1>Mind and Biggie is there, and they and Peter Rosenberg
<v Speaker 1>and so they bring people out and you see the
<v Speaker 1>fans in the background. So they brought out Triple H,
<v Speaker 1>who of course comes out and he talks about what
<v Speaker 1>a great show it was, what a great night and
<v Speaker 1>all of this stuff. And I'm watching some of the
<v Speaker 1>highlights of this thing. And if you remember when the
<v Speaker 1>fans behind him, maybe it was Summer Slim, We're chanting,
<v Speaker 1>we want Cross, we want Cross, and he of course
<v Speaker 1>pretended like, oh you want Brock, well you got him. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it had to be the night that brought came back
<v Speaker 1>a Summer slig Oh you want Brock, right, you want Brock,
<v Speaker 1>you got him? Yeah, selective hearing. So this time this
<v Speaker 1>is even better. So this time, you have fans chanting
<v Speaker 1>for MJF. I don't know where that came from, but
<v Speaker 1>you got MJF chance from the crowd. Of course he's
<v Speaker 1>no selling it and ignoring it, but there's no way
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't hear it. And then after that, after that,
<v Speaker 1>you've got fans that start chanting, we want Edge, we
<v Speaker 1>want Edge again. I don't know where that came from,
<v Speaker 1>and almost like under his breath, like he didn't like
<v Speaker 1>turn around to address them. But you know, Triple H's
<v Speaker 1>response is, well, you can't have him, which is true.
<v Speaker 1>I mean contractually, you just you can't. There's nothing he
<v Speaker 1>could do about it. So he says, you can't have him.
<v Speaker 1>And so what did the fans do? They begin to
<v Speaker 1>sing the lyrics to Metalingis. I felt like it's just
<v Speaker 1>like they're all like and half of them didn't even
<v Speaker 1>I don't think really know the words to the song,
<v Speaker 1>but they start singing the song anyway, as Triple H
<v Speaker 1>is going through his usual spiel about you know, what
<v Speaker 1>a great show and all this other nonsense, and these
<v Speaker 1>people are just they're too busy singing alter Bridge in
<v Speaker 1>the background. They're just look, they're just there to have
<v Speaker 1>a good time. Right. They were there for SmackDown on Friday,
<v Speaker 1>they were there for Crown Jewel. They're gonna have Raw
<v Speaker 1>again in Australia. It's gonna be another early start here
<v Speaker 1>on the East Coast. So we got Raw in Perth
<v Speaker 1>on Monday and you know, largely a hot crowd who
<v Speaker 1>did all the things that you would expect them to do.
<v Speaker 1>When you have these international crowds, the singing now is universal.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter if they're in the UK, if they're
<v Speaker 1>in Paris, France, they're in Australia, Canada. They all have
<v Speaker 1>to sing now. This is the new thing. They all
<v Speaker 1>have to sing. I'm begging them to come up with
<v Speaker 1>something new. You know they sing They basically just take
<v Speaker 1>the wrestler's name and they just sing the same song, right.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of the same beat, like yeah, Roman Roman
<v Speaker 1>runs right, and then they'll just do the same thing
<v Speaker 1>over and over again with other people. It's like, come on,
<v Speaker 1>come up with some new material. Seriously, if you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>serenade us, it's the least. It's the least you could do.
<v Speaker 1>It's really all I ask. I will not be doing
<v Speaker 1>any singing tonight though, So you don't have to worry
<v Speaker 1>about that, but hit that like button, hit that subscribe button.
<v Speaker 1>Super chats are open. We've had a bunch of them
<v Speaker 1>in already, so I do appreciate the support. If you
<v Speaker 1>have questions and comments on the show, get them on
<v Speaker 1>in and we will go through them a little bit
<v Speaker 1>later on here in the stream. I am in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of a very busy weekend. We had, of course,
<v Speaker 1>a sold out House of Glory show last night, we
<v Speaker 1>had Crown Jewel Van early this morning. I am still
<v Speaker 1>preparing for tomorrow's podcast, not very well, but I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>so hopefully the show won't be too late tomorrow. And
<v Speaker 1>then tomorrow night is TNA Bound for Glory and I'm
<v Speaker 1>hoping I have the chance to go live for that.
<v Speaker 1>So there's a lot going on. And then of course
<v Speaker 1>it starts all over again eight o'clock in the morning
<v Speaker 1>with raw on Monday. So the work never ends. But
<v Speaker 1>I thank you for sticking with me for all of it.
<v Speaker 1>Now we get into this show here. Michael Call and
<v Speaker 1>Wade Barrett they handled commentary for the show, so they
<v Speaker 1>were on the call for this one. They opened with
<v Speaker 1>the Australian street fight between the Big Aussie himself. Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid out with Paul Hayman. So no bron breaker and
<v Speaker 1>definitely not getting any sort of heroes welcome, even though
<v Speaker 1>he is from the country. I don't know what part
<v Speaker 1>of Australia he's from, but that shouldn't matter, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he's still he's one of them. But no, they did
<v Speaker 1>not cheer for him when he came out, but he
<v Speaker 1>went one on one with the man that they did
<v Speaker 1>very much cheer for here, which was Roman Reigns. Rains
<v Speaker 1>was all Overread for the first I'd say five minutes
<v Speaker 1>or so here of this match. They ended up outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring. Rains found the trash can and he hit
<v Speaker 1>Read with it. But then he found a few toys,
<v Speaker 1>I guess for him to play with. He found a
<v Speaker 1>cricket bat, so he pulled that out and then he
<v Speaker 1>threw what might at Paul Hayman. He threw what Michael
<v Speaker 1>Cole said was a rugby ball. It was not the
<v Speaker 1>rugby ball that Michael Cole would have you believe that
<v Speaker 1>it was. It was an Australian rules football. This is
<v Speaker 1>a very serious thing here. You got to get it right.
<v Speaker 1>Australian rules football is what it was, so he threw
<v Speaker 1>it to Paul Hayman, which I thought was kind of funny.
<v Speaker 1>They got back in the ring, Rains used the cricket
<v Speaker 1>bat as a weapon, sent Read back out to the floor,
<v Speaker 1>so Rains went to ringside. As soon as he did, though,
<v Speaker 1>Read or Rains that Read steam rolled over him and
<v Speaker 1>briefly took control. Roman then worked him over with a
<v Speaker 1>kendo stick. You can't have a WWE street fight without
<v Speaker 1>a kendo sticks. It's just it's a prerequisite. Here, Rains
<v Speaker 1>grabbed the house mic. At that point, he told the
<v Speaker 1>crowd Perth, if you want tables, acknowledge me. So they
<v Speaker 1>chanted otc and acknowledged him, and he pulled out a
<v Speaker 1>slim gym table from underneath the ring. Reid hit Rains
<v Speaker 1>from behind, He ran him into the ring steps, and
<v Speaker 1>then he slid the table back underneath the ring. Instant heat.
<v Speaker 1>You want to get heat, he's the table. And then
<v Speaker 1>you shove it back under the ring. And you don't
<v Speaker 1>even have to stay into the word. You have to
<v Speaker 1>do anything, You don't have to say anything. The booze
<v Speaker 1>will just rain down upon you. Tables are just the
<v Speaker 1>biggest baby face in all of wrestling. So you do
<v Speaker 1>something like that, you want to get heat. That's one
<v Speaker 1>way to get heat. So Reid grabbed the piece of
<v Speaker 1>the ring steps and he battered Roman with it twice
<v Speaker 1>before tossing him back inside the ring. Reid pulled out
<v Speaker 1>two chairs and he hit Roman with one of them,
<v Speaker 1>which then he wedged in the corner of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Reid set up a chair in the ring. Roman, though,
<v Speaker 1>shot back up and he hit a Samoan drop to
<v Speaker 1>this big sob right on top of the chair. This chair,
<v Speaker 1>This chair got just destroyed as soon as he dropped
<v Speaker 1>him on the chair. It's as if the chair like
<v Speaker 1>under the weight of Bronson Reed. This fucking chair just
<v Speaker 1>collapsed in a heap, just flattened it. Rains then ran
<v Speaker 1>Read into the chair that was wed in the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He hit him with a superman punch. Rains went to
<v Speaker 1>the corner. He let out his battle cry where I
<v Speaker 1>call it his al pacino. Huah. He let out his
<v Speaker 1>h huah. I don't know why that's funny to me read.
<v Speaker 1>They rolled out of the ring to avoid the spear,
<v Speaker 1>so instead, Rains went to the floor. He started to
<v Speaker 1>circle the ring. He was going to go for a spear,
<v Speaker 1>and what happened. Bron Breaker hops the barricade and he
<v Speaker 1>catches Roman before Roman can catch Reid, and he cuts
<v Speaker 1>him down with his spear. So Michael Cole said, there's
<v Speaker 1>nothing the referee can do because it's a street fight.
<v Speaker 1>There's no diequalification. Breaker hoisted reins up. He handed him
<v Speaker 1>off to Read, who power bombed him through the announced table.
<v Speaker 1>So that brought out the USSOS. So they did make
<v Speaker 1>the trip, even after Roman told him on rom Mounday night,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want you there. I don't want you there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need your help. They were there anyway, Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Jay. He dropped Breaker with a double superkick and
<v Speaker 1>then did the same to Bronson Reid the usso's hip
<v Speaker 1>simultaneous hip attacks to Reid m Breaker the in opposite corners.
<v Speaker 1>Then he dropped Breaker with the one D so the
<v Speaker 1>USSOS they went up top for a double USO splash.
<v Speaker 1>Read those shoved Jimmy off the ropes. Breaker shot up.
<v Speaker 1>He grabbed Jay off the ropes and he military pressed
<v Speaker 1>him over his head and he dropped him onto his
<v Speaker 1>knees for a Gupbuster. So Breaker went to the floor
<v Speaker 1>and he ran around the ring before spearing Jimmy through
<v Speaker 1>the timekeeper's barricade. Reid went up top, Rains caught him
<v Speaker 1>with a superman punch and then a second one. Rains
<v Speaker 1>was ready to charge him for a spear, but he
<v Speaker 1>had to go over and he had to give a
<v Speaker 1>superman punch to bron Breaker to knock him off the apron,
<v Speaker 1>which he went ahead and did. Reid then hoisted up Roman,
<v Speaker 1>who fought free, and as Jay Usso came in for
<v Speaker 1>a spear of his own, Reid moved out of the
<v Speaker 1>way and Jay accidentally speared Roman through the table that
<v Speaker 1>was propped up in the corner. Uh oh, so Jay
<v Speaker 1>couldn't believe what he just did. Breaker returned to the
<v Speaker 1>ring and he speared Jay while Breaker dragged Roman over
<v Speaker 1>to the other corner so that his good buddy Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid can ascend to the top and come flying off
<v Speaker 1>with the tsunami splash. One tsunami splash is all it
<v Speaker 1>took to pancake Roman Reigns, and with that tsunami splash,
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid pins Roman Reigns in Perth. They actually did it.
<v Speaker 1>Good on them, good on them, the right call. I
<v Speaker 1>mean there should have been a no brainer. But you know,
<v Speaker 1>with these people, you never know, but good on them.
<v Speaker 1>That was the right call to make. That was absolutely
<v Speaker 1>the right call to make, because it now makes Roman's
<v Speaker 1>win over him at clash in Paris at least understandable
<v Speaker 1>if the plan had been to run this back and
<v Speaker 1>do it this way and give him the win here,
<v Speaker 1>understand right, But I mean, we've seen stuff before where
<v Speaker 1>they're just afraid. They're afraid to beat somebody, whether it's
<v Speaker 1>a Roman Reigns or even another big babyface, they just
<v Speaker 1>it's like they're allergic to doing it sometimes. And a
<v Speaker 1>guy like Roman Rains is a made guy. So whether
<v Speaker 1>you beat him clean or whether you beat him with
<v Speaker 1>some assistance, if Roman takes the loss, Roman Reigns is
<v Speaker 1>going to wake up the next day and he's still
<v Speaker 1>going to be Roman Reigns. He's still going to be
<v Speaker 1>the tribal chief of the OTC or whatever nickname he's
<v Speaker 1>going by this week. He's still going to be as
<v Speaker 1>popular as he was when he laid his head on
<v Speaker 1>the pillow the night before. Right, for him, nothing changes,
<v Speaker 1>But for the person he's in the ring with, that
<v Speaker 1>can mean the world. Right, that's a big deal. So
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid picks up again inarguably the biggest win of
<v Speaker 1>his career, and with this he becomes only the second man,
<v Speaker 1>the second man behind only Cody Rhodes, who has a
<v Speaker 1>singles pinfall win over Romans since twenty nineteen. That's against
<v Speaker 1>Baron Corbin when Roman was still the big dog. Baron
<v Speaker 1>Corbin pinned him. I want to say it was the
<v Speaker 1>TLC pay per view in twenty nineteen, Cody Rhodes and
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid. He's in rarefied air. Now. It's a very
<v Speaker 1>short list since you know this tribal chief Bloodline Roman
<v Speaker 1>stuff started back in twenty twenty. In terms of singles matches,
<v Speaker 1>those are the only two guys. And not only that,
<v Speaker 1>but Bronson Reid is now on a list where he
<v Speaker 1>has pinfall wins over Roman Reigns and Kazushka Okada. Not
<v Speaker 1>too many people can say that. In fact, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>sure if anybody can say that. I mean, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>somebody will hear this and let me know if I'm wrong.
<v Speaker 1>I can't think of, I mean, who else would be
<v Speaker 1>on that list, at least in terms of like Bloodline
<v Speaker 1>Roman that he beat Roman Reigns and Okada. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>who else would even have the chance to have been
<v Speaker 1>on that list. I can't think of anybody, So it
<v Speaker 1>was a big win for him. Now, was it a
<v Speaker 1>clean wind? No, No, it wasn't clean and it would
<v Speaker 1>have been nice for Reid to shock the world and
<v Speaker 1>do it all by himself. Of course he had help
<v Speaker 1>from bron Breaker, but you know what, Roman had help
<v Speaker 1>from the USOS. He had backup of his own. So
<v Speaker 1>the way I look at it, it kind of balances
<v Speaker 1>things out a little bit. You know, Reid was out
<v Speaker 1>numbered as well when it comes to the USOS going
<v Speaker 1>out there. You had Jimmy and Jay and Roman and
<v Speaker 1>then Bronzon only had bron Breakers. So in a way,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it was kind of unfair. But I mean,
<v Speaker 1>as far as street fights go, this one was very basic.
<v Speaker 1>It did have a lot of interference. So the best
<v Speaker 1>I can really say about it is that it was
<v Speaker 1>a solid opener. It really wasn't anything more than that. Right,
<v Speaker 1>think about the way they built this up when they
<v Speaker 1>announced the stipulation on TV. It really built it up
<v Speaker 1>like if you're gonna beat this man, you're gonna have
<v Speaker 1>to do it in an Australian street fight, as if
<v Speaker 1>this was like a known thing that when he was
<v Speaker 1>on the independent scene in Australia, this was like his
<v Speaker 1>specialty or something that he was known for, Like he's
<v Speaker 1>deadly in these Australian street fights. Because I thought they
<v Speaker 1>were going to make it a stretcher match, and you
<v Speaker 1>hear that and it's like, again, the crowd had no
<v Speaker 1>reaction to that announcement when they made that stipulation, and
<v Speaker 1>I look at it and go, well, of course they
<v Speaker 1>have no real reaction to it because they see street
<v Speaker 1>fights every single week on TV. They see street fights
<v Speaker 1>on every single ple and they all have the same formula, right,
<v Speaker 1>you see the same weapons, the same slim gym tables
<v Speaker 1>and kendo sticks and they you know, take the top
<v Speaker 1>part of the stairs off and they have the chair
<v Speaker 1>across the back and it's like it's the same bullshit
<v Speaker 1>all the time. And so now it's an Australian street fight.
<v Speaker 1>And I joked the other day, I was like, well,
<v Speaker 1>what does that mean, Like are they going to throw?
<v Speaker 1>You know, what kind of objects? Are they going to
<v Speaker 1>find a thread? Sure enough, they had the rugby bat
<v Speaker 1>and they had the Australian football and that was really it.
<v Speaker 1>That was about the only unique stuff they could think of.
<v Speaker 1>I guess, to have that you wouldn't find in a
<v Speaker 1>normal street fight. That's all it was. And so as
<v Speaker 1>street fights go, this was pretty fucking tame. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying I want them to go in there. I want,
<v Speaker 1>you know, fucking Darby Allen ripping John Moxley's ear off
<v Speaker 1>and all this gore and shit. But you know, it
<v Speaker 1>was solid. I can't really say it was anything more
<v Speaker 1>than that. The bigger story wasn't the match itself, right,
<v Speaker 1>Reid winning was like one major story here. The real
<v Speaker 1>major story is what came after the match. Roman and
<v Speaker 1>the usso's are sitting in the ring right, not next
<v Speaker 1>to each other, but they're all sitting in the ring
<v Speaker 1>and they're just stewing. And they cut the music off
<v Speaker 1>and the vision has left and Rains is looking over
<v Speaker 1>at the ussos and he is scolding his cousins and
<v Speaker 1>he says, the whole world thinks I can't do shit
<v Speaker 1>on my own. I told you I'm going to do
<v Speaker 1>this on my own. And he go he looks at Jimmy,
<v Speaker 1>he goes, I love you. He looks at Jay and
<v Speaker 1>he goes, I love you, but he says, I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to see y'all until Christmas, and with that he leaves,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, oh man, like that's I mean, that
<v Speaker 1>cuts deep. Like he's not even inviting them to Thanksgiving
<v Speaker 1>dinner this year. I just pictured my head like this
<v Speaker 1>big like Samoan feast for Thanksgiving, like all the family
<v Speaker 1>members just I don't even know if they could find
<v Speaker 1>a place big enough to house all of them, but
<v Speaker 1>like one long table, yeah, something like that. And now
<v Speaker 1>they're not even invited. Now Roman says I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to see you until Christmas. That's brutal. But anyway, Roman
<v Speaker 1>leaves the ring and the fans begin to chant someone's
<v Speaker 1>in trouble, turning this from what was supposed to be
<v Speaker 1>a serious angle into comedy. Basically, Jay was very upset.
<v Speaker 1>He told Jimmy he always do him right, like he
<v Speaker 1>always looks out for himself. And I'm sitting here going like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>no shit, I could have told you that, Like this
<v Speaker 1>is the same person that we saw for those thirteen
<v Speaker 1>hundred plus days when he was the champion, Like absolutely
<v Speaker 1>nothing has changed about Roman Reign since he lost that
<v Speaker 1>championship at WrestleMania last year to Cody Rose. Nothing, nothing
<v Speaker 1>except his music has changed. He has a new T shirt.
<v Speaker 1>That's about it. That's it. He came back. He's not
<v Speaker 1>acting any differently. He's telling people to acknowledge him. Right,
<v Speaker 1>nothing has changed. He was an asshole then, he's an
<v Speaker 1>asshole now. And the only difference is the fans cheer
<v Speaker 1>for him because the fans are assholes. But that's it.
<v Speaker 1>And yet they act like, oh, well, he always looks
<v Speaker 1>out for himself. He always he do him, he do him. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>no shit, like he's been hanging around this guy for
<v Speaker 1>years and years and years. But Jay's very upset about this,
<v Speaker 1>and Jay basically says I'm out. He says, I'm out,
<v Speaker 1>And that's how the latest Bloodline soap opera ended here
<v Speaker 1>on this show. Roman doesn't want to see them until Christmas,
<v Speaker 1>he says, but there is a Wargames match coming up
<v Speaker 1>before that, right after Thanksgiving, So I'm thinking that Roman
<v Speaker 1>is going to see his cousins a lot sooner than Christmas.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that either one of the usos are
<v Speaker 1>going heel out of this whole thing. Jay has definitely
<v Speaker 1>been acting more heelish of late, which I like. I
<v Speaker 1>like that they've kind of tweaked this character to try
<v Speaker 1>to give it a harder edge. Roman can't go heel
<v Speaker 1>because he never won babyface. No matter what Roman does,
<v Speaker 1>you cannot call it a heel turn. If you do,
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you to your face you're wrong because he
<v Speaker 1>never went babyface. So it's impossible for him to go heal.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't see, you know, jay Uso actually going
<v Speaker 1>full blown heel, you know, and ending the yeat stuff
<v Speaker 1>like that's not gonna happen if Jimmy were to go heal,
<v Speaker 1>like it to me, like, that's not even that big
<v Speaker 1>of a deal, you know what I mean. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't And you've reunited the usso's I'm not really sure
<v Speaker 1>why you would want to split them up. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't see that happening. But you know, Roman, as far
<v Speaker 1>as him saying what he said here, like people say
<v Speaker 1>I can't do shit by myself. So the idea here,
<v Speaker 1>I guess with the character is that you know, clearly
<v Speaker 1>it's bothering him that people say he cannot win without
<v Speaker 1>help from his family, so he wants to go it alone.
<v Speaker 1>Now you know, that's that's the path that he wants
<v Speaker 1>to pursue. So Rains and Reid now are one win apiece, right,
<v Speaker 1>Roman won it clash in Paris, read one here at
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel. If they wanted to have a rubber match,
<v Speaker 1>they could get one more match out of this. You know,
<v Speaker 1>there's no reason that it has to stay fifty to fifty.
<v Speaker 1>They have a Saturday Night's main event coming up on
<v Speaker 1>November first. They could do the match there, you know,
<v Speaker 1>if they wanted to. But then somebody really does. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you could always have some sort of no contest finish,
<v Speaker 1>but you know somebody has to then win, and then
<v Speaker 1>it becomes like Roman just beat him, or do you
<v Speaker 1>have a Reid win again? I mean, you really want
<v Speaker 1>to solidify or read you haven't beat Roman a second time.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's the direction they want to
<v Speaker 1>go in here, But then you have wargames, you know
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor series that can't imagine the Vision is not
<v Speaker 1>going to be on the heel side in that match
<v Speaker 1>and Roman will be on the baby face side. And
<v Speaker 1>question then becomes who does he recruit? Well, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that he'll be the captain necessarily, but if Roman's
<v Speaker 1>on the team, let's assume he would be the team captain,
<v Speaker 1>because why would Roman be on a team in taking
<v Speaker 1>orders from someone else who populates that team? Could it
<v Speaker 1>be the ussos would see I'm punk Bey on his team.
<v Speaker 1>Is John Cena going to be in Wargames? It looks
<v Speaker 1>like that's not the case if rumors are to be believed,
<v Speaker 1>So we'll see how the Wargames situation shakes out. After this,
<v Speaker 1>we had our first of two Crown Jewel Championship matches
<v Speaker 1>here on this show, this one with the women. It
<v Speaker 1>was the Women's World Champion Stephanie Vicaire one on one
<v Speaker 1>against the WWE Women's Champion, Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany came into
<v Speaker 1>this match undefeated so far here in the year of
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five, seventeen and zer record, which I say
<v Speaker 1>that out loud, and that reminds me of Jim Ross
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania twenty five when the Undertaker beat Sean Michaels seventeen
<v Speaker 1>and zero. That's what Tiffany Stratton was coming into this match.
<v Speaker 1>So they were both cheered pretty much equally. Yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>have two baby face champions here, I would say from
<v Speaker 1>entrance to exit, I don't really recall there being a
<v Speaker 1>moment in this match where either of these women up booed.
<v Speaker 1>Vicaire kept getting the better of Tiffany. She tried to
<v Speaker 1>submission Tiffany, though countered out with a back suplex. Stratton
<v Speaker 1>followed with a handspring elbow in an Alabama slam for two.
<v Speaker 1>Later on, she tried to swanton off the top and
<v Speaker 1>Vicaer got her knees up. Stephanie did the Devil's Kiss
<v Speaker 1>and the old version of her SVB backbreaker for a
<v Speaker 1>two count. Stratton came back with the rolling sent on,
<v Speaker 1>but then missed the prettiest moon salt ever, and Vicierre
<v Speaker 1>followed quickly with the corkscrew splash off the top that
<v Speaker 1>won her the Women's World Championship when she went one
<v Speaker 1>on one at Wressell Palooza with the Oh Sky and
<v Speaker 1>it was a thing of beauty. I mean, that move
<v Speaker 1>is a beautiful thing. But it was a rough landing
<v Speaker 1>for Tiffany because it looked like, I mean, she ate
<v Speaker 1>those knees, like right in the chest, like the chest
<v Speaker 1>in midsection. Stephanie's knees just landed right on top of her.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure she's fine. If anything, maybe it knocked the
<v Speaker 1>wind out of her better that those knees come down,
<v Speaker 1>I would say on her chest than on her face,
<v Speaker 1>I would say that would not have ended well. But
<v Speaker 1>she gets the clean win and Stephanie Vaquerre is the
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel Champion. Triple h gets in the ring after
<v Speaker 1>the match to present Stephanie with the Crown Jewel belt
<v Speaker 1>and the Crown Jewel ring because you get a belt
<v Speaker 1>and you get a ring, and he strapped the title
<v Speaker 1>around her waist, and this was I wish I would
<v Speaker 1>have taken a picture of this. This was hilarious. She
<v Speaker 1>straps or he straps this championship around her waist and
<v Speaker 1>it's I can't even say her waist. He basically strapped
<v Speaker 1>it around her body. This belt took up the majority
<v Speaker 1>of her upper body, let alone her midsection. This belt
<v Speaker 1>is gigantic and it reminded me of when liv Morgan
<v Speaker 1>won last year, and Live is even smaller than Stephanie.
<v Speaker 1>Ass comical, Like I remember thinking to myself because I
<v Speaker 1>guess Live was also she would have had to have
<v Speaker 1>been the Women's World Champion at that point, so she
<v Speaker 1>had two belts. But it's like, how does this girl
<v Speaker 1>on that tip over? I mean I would love to
<v Speaker 1>know how much that belt weighs. It's just it's so
<v Speaker 1>just absolutely over the top in terms of how large
<v Speaker 1>these belts are. But she was very emotional. Jackie Redman
<v Speaker 1>got in the ring to interview her, and she said
<v Speaker 1>that they all did this together. She said the title
<v Speaker 1>represented all of the emotional support from the fans that
<v Speaker 1>they gave her. She followed her dreams, the fans believed
<v Speaker 1>in her, and now she believes in herself. Basically the
<v Speaker 1>same speech that she gave after she won the Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship. And then she posed on the ropes as
<v Speaker 1>they shot off Piro over by the stage. Yes, the
<v Speaker 1>belt looked like a shield. It looked like body armor,
<v Speaker 1>like really gaudy body armor. They had a good wrestling
<v Speaker 1>match with a clean finish, right, never a bad thing
<v Speaker 1>to have a clean finish, but nothing terribly memorable. Again,
<v Speaker 1>there was no story of any kind. You compared the
<v Speaker 1>two Crown Jewel matches, right, polar opposites in terms of
<v Speaker 1>there was a real story independent of the Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>stuff going into the men's match, and they didn't have
<v Speaker 1>anything like that here For the women. It was about
<v Speaker 1>a championship that doesn't matter. It might look nice, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure it cost a fortune to make those belts
<v Speaker 1>with the gems and everything in them, but beyond that,
<v Speaker 1>there was nothing here to really invest in. And it
<v Speaker 1>was two babyfaces. So it's not even like good versus Evil,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna get behind this person because we really don't
<v Speaker 1>want this person to win. You got two baby faces
<v Speaker 1>wrestling for a championship. That doesn't matter. They're on two
<v Speaker 1>separate brands. There's no prior interaction with them. There's no
<v Speaker 1>real story there. So you had the match. The match
<v Speaker 1>was okay, it was fine, and that's it. Nothing memorable
<v Speaker 1>about it. They got short change, though, because they only
<v Speaker 1>gave them about ten minutes. So yeah, while everything I
<v Speaker 1>just said is true, they should have gotten a little
<v Speaker 1>more time. I would have shaved time from the men's match.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's no reason that the women's Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>match gets ten minutes and the men's gets thirty. And
<v Speaker 1>I understand the men's has more of a story, but
<v Speaker 1>that's a huge disparity between those two matches. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying that they each should have been exactly the same
<v Speaker 1>amount of time, but you could have given the women
<v Speaker 1>a few more minutes here. So Tiffany went unbeaten the
<v Speaker 1>entire year. It was the right outcome here. It was
<v Speaker 1>she's in a better position to take a loss here
<v Speaker 1>than Stephanie. Stephanie just won the women World Championship not
<v Speaker 1>even a month ago. You know, Tiffany has had that
<v Speaker 1>championship the entire year. Basically, when did she win that title?
<v Speaker 1>Did she win the title last year? I don't even
<v Speaker 1>remember when she won that belt because she wrestled Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania for it. I don't remember when did she
<v Speaker 1>win she won the title on TV? I remember that, God,
<v Speaker 1>when did she win it? Trying to think I don't
<v Speaker 1>know she cashed in the briefcase whenever it was. She's
<v Speaker 1>had that championship for a long time. So I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be beating Stephanie right now given that she just won
<v Speaker 1>the title. But here's the thing about all of this,
<v Speaker 1>I would not have put the championship on Stephanie to
<v Speaker 1>begin with. You know, if Naomi was able to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>her in Paris like she was originally supposed to do,
<v Speaker 1>I don't believe Stephanie was winning that match. I just
<v Speaker 1>I do not believe there was any chance of taking
<v Speaker 1>that championship off of Naomi in her first or second
<v Speaker 1>title defense. That would have been ridiculous. I guess it
<v Speaker 1>would have been her second because she would have had
<v Speaker 1>the match on TV with EO, and as it turned out,
<v Speaker 1>neither match ended up happening, so Stephanie would have lost
<v Speaker 1>and it wouldn't have killed her. And then at that point,
<v Speaker 1>you can take your time building to it because you
<v Speaker 1>know that championship is gonna make its way to this woman.
<v Speaker 1>This woman, she's incredibly good in the ring. She's a
<v Speaker 1>very good pro wrestler. She's very likable, she's very attractive
<v Speaker 1>and very marketable, like checks all the boxes that you
<v Speaker 1>would want to check in a star on your roster.
<v Speaker 1>You take your time, you let her overcome some adversity
<v Speaker 1>of some kind and build to a championship win. That's
<v Speaker 1>how I would have done it, and maybe that's how
<v Speaker 1>wwe would have done it. But plans changed and Naomi
<v Speaker 1>had to vacate the belt and they had to put
<v Speaker 1>the belt on somebody, and it was I mean, realistically,
<v Speaker 1>it was gonna be Riha EO or Stephanie, and I
<v Speaker 1>didn't get the impression they were ready to put that
<v Speaker 1>belt back on Rhea. Ria doesn't need the belt right now,
<v Speaker 1>so it was either EO or Stephanie, and I figured,
<v Speaker 1>you know, you put the belt back on EO, and
<v Speaker 1>then you can have EO drop it to you know whoever,
<v Speaker 1>because EO probably wouldn't have it for very long. But
<v Speaker 1>this is what they opted to do. So I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>have even had the championship on her in the first place,
<v Speaker 1>but that's the way the things ended up happening. But
<v Speaker 1>here's my fear, and this is the reason why I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I would have done that. My fear is
<v Speaker 1>that she won the world title. She just won the
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel title. Right She's got two titles, she's got
<v Speaker 1>a ring. Is it too much? Too soon? She's very likable,
<v Speaker 1>but now that she's won everything, it is incumbent upon
<v Speaker 1>them to keep things interesting when it comes to whatever
<v Speaker 1>it is that she's doing on television, whatever story you're telling,
<v Speaker 1>whatever opponent you want to put her in the ring with.
<v Speaker 1>They're in a better position at least to put her
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with some interesting people because the raw
<v Speaker 1>women's division is a lot stronger right now than the
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown women's division, and hopefully they'll be a rebalancing soon
<v Speaker 1>and they'll take steps to correct that, especially with some
<v Speaker 1>of these creative changes that we've heard about on the
<v Speaker 1>Friday Show. But I'm more worried about three months from now.
<v Speaker 1>You know, four months from now, as we're heading into
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania season, are we going to be talking about how
<v Speaker 1>bland everything feels with Stephanie. That's my fear, because she's
<v Speaker 1>been given so much so soon that she's done everything
<v Speaker 1>there is to do on her side of the aisle
<v Speaker 1>on that brand. How do you keep things interesting? Now?
<v Speaker 1>Do you reach a point where the fans begin to
<v Speaker 1>resent her or get bored of this? Maybe not. Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton is still very popular. I look at this run
<v Speaker 1>that Tiffany Stratton has had this year. For the most part,
<v Speaker 1>it's been very uneventful. It's been very dull. She has
<v Speaker 1>not had something to really sink her teeth into in
<v Speaker 1>the way that she has with certain other people that
<v Speaker 1>she's worked with in the past. Right, I mean, look
<v Speaker 1>at what they've They had to go back to Nia Jackson,
<v Speaker 1>Jade Cargill like it hurt that Bianca was not around,
<v Speaker 1>but That's what I mean when I say they need
<v Speaker 1>to really shore up the women's side on that roster.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, look, Tiffany is still very popular. Maybe Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>will not fall victim to that, but other people have
<v Speaker 1>fallen victim to that in the past. That's the problem
<v Speaker 1>when you just hey, here's everything right, and now it's like,
<v Speaker 1>you got to give them some sort of obstacle at
<v Speaker 1>some point. You got to give them a reason to
<v Speaker 1>chase after that so called brass ring that you know,
<v Speaker 1>used to hear Vince McMahon talking about. But there has
<v Speaker 1>to be something there or the fans are going to
<v Speaker 1>turn on you, and the fans are gonna get bored
<v Speaker 1>and they're gonna be like, all right, well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>we've seen her beat this person in that person and
<v Speaker 1>she has this belt in that belt, and it's like, well,
<v Speaker 1>you know, now what So that's my only concern there.
<v Speaker 1>And I look at the potential you know, challengers for her,
<v Speaker 1>and it's like they're going to come back around to Rhea.
<v Speaker 1>It's just inevitable. The Ria and Osca and Kyrie and
<v Speaker 1>EO stuff is not over yet, certainly not with EO
<v Speaker 1>and Osca. Maybe maybe Rhea moves on to something else now,
<v Speaker 1>but it seems like that's going to continue, probably for
<v Speaker 1>a little while longer. But you got Rhea, of course
<v Speaker 1>you could always fall back on her. You've got EO
<v Speaker 1>eos Off doing her own thing, right, So is Osca
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan is going to come back in a few months.
<v Speaker 1>What's going to happen when Live Morgan comes back. I
<v Speaker 1>think Live Morgan is going to come back and the
<v Speaker 1>fans are gonna probably treat her as a babyface. You
<v Speaker 1>could do something with Live and Roxanne. I guess Live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan may come back and win the Royal Rumbleland Challenge
<v Speaker 1>for the Championship, and I could see the people wanting
<v Speaker 1>her to beat Stephanie if it comes to a Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>Live match at WrestleMania next year. So it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>very interesting to see how they handle this now in
<v Speaker 1>the months to come, because there's been no struggle. There
<v Speaker 1>is something to be said for having that struggle, and
<v Speaker 1>she hasn't had that now. Backstage, Paul Hayman congratulated Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid on his big win. Reid was sitting there with
<v Speaker 1>an ice pack on his neck after his big Roman
<v Speaker 1>reigns victory, Hayman said the vision of the future now
<v Speaker 1>meant Red and Breaker. Hayman also told them to stay
<v Speaker 1>in the back if seth Rollins called for help tonight
<v Speaker 1>in his match with Cody Rhodes, Hayman said that we
<v Speaker 1>would find out who the better man was and then
<v Speaker 1>he left and bron Breaker did not seem to like this.
<v Speaker 1>He asked Bronson Reid, what's gonna happen if Cody wins
<v Speaker 1>this match? What happens then? And Hayman heard this and
<v Speaker 1>he returned to tell him, I think you both know
<v Speaker 1>the answer to that question. Intrigue. What does that mean? Well,
<v Speaker 1>we'll worry about that some other time, because after this,
<v Speaker 1>it was time for the match that I was most
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to here on this show. Funny enough, the
<v Speaker 1>match with absolutely no story coming into this show is
<v Speaker 1>the match that I was looking forward to the most.
<v Speaker 1>And really, you know, one last time, this was the
<v Speaker 1>end of an era in many ways, because you know,
<v Speaker 1>Johnsen is on his way out the door, and we
<v Speaker 1>know AJ Styles is not too far behind, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and these guys. John Cena debuted on WWE television in
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and two. AJ Styles debuted not that long
<v Speaker 1>before him, right, he had a few years on Sena.
<v Speaker 1>He would have ended up in WCW had WCW not
<v Speaker 1>gone under. But their careers in terms of length, their
<v Speaker 1>careers have mirrored each other in many ways, you know. Basically,
<v Speaker 1>you know, twenty five, twenty eight years, whatever it's been,
<v Speaker 1>and now that's coming to an end, and it feels
<v Speaker 1>like man, you know, like and Tana Hashi is retiring,
<v Speaker 1>you know, in January. So it really does feel like
<v Speaker 1>we're in the middle of this sort of changing of
<v Speaker 1>the guard in many ways. But we had John Cena
<v Speaker 1>one on one with AJ Styles. There was no recap
<v Speaker 1>video here like they had for all the other matches
<v Speaker 1>because there was nothing to recap. John Cena was not
<v Speaker 1>around for any television before this match or after this
<v Speaker 1>match was promoted, so they came into this all knotted
<v Speaker 1>up at two wins apiece. This ride here was the
<v Speaker 1>rubber match of their series. Styles entered first, and he
<v Speaker 1>was sporting the same trunks that he wore in the
<v Speaker 1>OG days of TNA, because back then AJ wore trunks.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't wear long tights and that was like the
<v Speaker 1>NWA TNA days. But the blue and white trunks that
<v Speaker 1>he was wearing. I mean, I don't want to say
<v Speaker 1>it was the exact same pair. Maybe he had a
<v Speaker 1>new one made, but those were the trunks that he wore.
<v Speaker 1>On the very first episode of Impact that debuted on
<v Speaker 1>Spike TV in two thousand and five, he had a
<v Speaker 1>match I think opened the show against Frankie Kazarian or
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry enough Franki Kazari. He wrestled the Rohetorick Strunk,
<v Speaker 1>and he wore that same gear. So that was I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's I mean, you talk about throwbacks, that's throwing it back.
<v Speaker 1>And it's so weird too, because it's like the Jericho thing.
<v Speaker 1>When Jericho suddenly switched over from tights to trunks. It
<v Speaker 1>was jarring at first. It's like, wait, something's different here
<v Speaker 1>because he had spent his entire career wearing lung tights
<v Speaker 1>and then all of a sudden, like the guy's getting
<v Speaker 1>older and now he's wearing trunks. Usually it's the opposite,
<v Speaker 1>where you get older, you're a little more out of shape.
<v Speaker 1>You don't want to show off your legs anymore, so
<v Speaker 1>you cover them up, right. I mean, that's it's kind
<v Speaker 1>of funny, Like I think of the macho man talking
<v Speaker 1>about him recently, and if you think about you know,
<v Speaker 1>the early part of his career, right, he never wore
<v Speaker 1>a shirt, he didn't have like a top on when
<v Speaker 1>he wrestled, and then all of a sudden, like in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety ninety one, whatever it was, all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>I think it was ninety one. Now he's now his
<v Speaker 1>whole gear change, and it's like, yeah, of course, because
<v Speaker 1>he's not on the same shit that he was on before,
<v Speaker 1>and he's getting older. So anyway, it was a little weird,
<v Speaker 1>but that's how he started his career. Now, John Cena
<v Speaker 1>came out, he got a monster reaction. He told Stu
<v Speaker 1>the cameraman that this was the last international show of
<v Speaker 1>his career. In the ring, Alicia Taylor introduced Sena, but
<v Speaker 1>before she could do the same for AJ, Sina stopped her,
<v Speaker 1>handed her a piece of paper and told her to
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and read what was on that paper. This
<v Speaker 1>is the intro that Sena himself, I assumed Sena himself
<v Speaker 1>wrote for AJ Styles. She called him the definition of
<v Speaker 1>total NonStop action, the ace and undisputed boss of the
<v Speaker 1>Bullet Club. It is our honor as fans and my
<v Speaker 1>honor as an opponent to see if he can beat
<v Speaker 1>up John Cena one final time. He is the face
<v Speaker 1>that runs the place, the phenomenal AJ styles and Style smiled.
<v Speaker 1>He seemed caught off guard by that intro, so that
<v Speaker 1>that was very nice. That was a nice moment there,
<v Speaker 1>Alexander says about Savage. His gear changed because his gear changed, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>yes it did. Yeah, yep. Macho wasn't taking his vitamins anymore.
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you what though. He was taking his vitamins
<v Speaker 1>in the late stages there of WCW. He was making
<v Speaker 1>up for lost time, is what he was doing. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure that didn't help his heart. So they rang the
<v Speaker 1>bell and immediately we got a holy shit chant. Then
<v Speaker 1>they got a dueling chance for Sina and AJ, back
<v Speaker 1>and forth. Sena set up for a five knuckle shuffle.
<v Speaker 1>Styles though stop that with a well placed kick. Seen
<v Speaker 1>it came right back with a slam, and he did
<v Speaker 1>do the five knuckle shuffle, and he followed that up
<v Speaker 1>with an attitude adjustment for a near fall. Granted, we
<v Speaker 1>were only five minutes into this match and we already
<v Speaker 1>had an attitude adjustment here. Styles head in Ushi Garochi
<v Speaker 1>right across the knee, but then came up selling his
<v Speaker 1>knee and Michael Cole even called it by that name,
<v Speaker 1>and he credited and I quote my buddy Morrow for
<v Speaker 1>teaching him how to pronounce it. Scena paid homage to
<v Speaker 1>the Miz then with a skull crushing finale for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall, and this was the first of many homages
<v Speaker 1>from both men here in this match. This is what
<v Speaker 1>this match will be most remembered for is all of
<v Speaker 1>the different moves that were stolen. I will say this though,
<v Speaker 1>if you're gonna steal someone else's move, at least make
<v Speaker 1>it look good. And John Cena was making it look good.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't, I mean, he did justice to the moves
<v Speaker 1>at least that he was pulling off. Here, Stiles hit
<v Speaker 1>a torture rag bomb for a near fall of his
<v Speaker 1>own styles, then hit a scorpion death drop for another
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Cole acknowledged that it was an homage to
<v Speaker 1>another one of AJ's great opponents. He said that without
<v Speaker 1>mentioning the name Sting, that's funny. All the people that
<v Speaker 1>Sena was paying homage to, they mentioned their name. All
<v Speaker 1>the people that AJ was paying homage to, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think a single name was mentioned. That's how it goes.
<v Speaker 1>Sena caught Styles in the STFU, which I will say
<v Speaker 1>looked fucking horrendous. I mean this, it looked terrible. Styles
<v Speaker 1>escaped and put Sena in a cross face. Sena got
<v Speaker 1>out of that. He put aj in a camel clutch,
<v Speaker 1>or you might say the accolade former WrestleMania opponents in
<v Speaker 1>Russev that actually got chance of Rusev Day from some
<v Speaker 1>of the fans crowd. Styles escaped and he puts seen
<v Speaker 1>it in what Michael Cole assumed what and this he
<v Speaker 1>called it this what Michael Cole assumed was a co
<v Speaker 1>Qina clutch, and he said this with that ever mentioning
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe by name. After that, Styles went for a
<v Speaker 1>calf crusher, but Seena countered into not just the Boston crab.
<v Speaker 1>Cole said, that's the walls of Jericho and the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>you know, broke out and why two Jay chance. So
<v Speaker 1>in case you're wondering, and nobody should have been wondering
<v Speaker 1>this to begin with, because you know, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people got very sick of seeing Chris Jericho in aw
<v Speaker 1>and you know, just the learning tree and it's just
<v Speaker 1>after a while absence does make the heart grow fonder.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes it's better to go away for self preservation. It's
<v Speaker 1>better to leave and go away sometimes and then come
<v Speaker 1>back than to never leave it all, because how could
<v Speaker 1>they miss you if you don't leave. And I'll bet
<v Speaker 1>you like the minute that Jericho returns WWE, and I
<v Speaker 1>fully believe he is coming back to WWE early next year.
<v Speaker 1>The minute he comes back, he's going to be treated
<v Speaker 1>like a god. That first time back, he's going to
<v Speaker 1>get this monster reaction because it's been years since people
<v Speaker 1>have seen him in WWE. You know, I want to
<v Speaker 1>say it might have been that very first Saudi Arabia
<v Speaker 1>show in the Greatest Royal Rumble. That may have been
<v Speaker 1>the last WWE match that he was in. So that
<v Speaker 1>first time back at least or first couple of times,
<v Speaker 1>of course, he's going to get a great reaction. But
<v Speaker 1>if you were wondering will he or won't he, this
<v Speaker 1>should silence any and all doubt about that. Of course
<v Speaker 1>you will. He'll get a heroes welcome when he comes back.
<v Speaker 1>Styles countered out into a calf crusher. Sena escaped the hold.
<v Speaker 1>He went for the STFU, which he gave up when
<v Speaker 1>Styles got close to the robes, Stiles hit Sena with
<v Speaker 1>the Styles clash for a earfall. Aj went for a
<v Speaker 1>phenomenal forearm, but Sena caught him in position for a
<v Speaker 1>Sister Abigail and that got a rise out of the
<v Speaker 1>crowd big time. And Sena leaned over and he kissed
<v Speaker 1>Aj on the forehead and he dropped him with Sister Abigail.
<v Speaker 1>When I say that he was paying respect to these moves,
<v Speaker 1>he had a pretty fucking good Sister Abigail, some good
<v Speaker 1>velocity there as he took Aj down to the mat.
<v Speaker 1>He got a great near fall out of that one.
<v Speaker 1>The fans went nuts for the Bray Wyatt tribute. They
<v Speaker 1>even pulled out their phones. We got the fireflies in
<v Speaker 1>the crowd and thank you. As a thank you Wyatt,
<v Speaker 1>I think they were chanting, and it looked like Seena,
<v Speaker 1>even in the ring, was kind of taking a moment
<v Speaker 1>to admire it and kind of take it all in.
<v Speaker 1>Styles then hit a Christopher Daniels Angels wings for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Seena came back with a pedigree attempt, but
<v Speaker 1>Styles countered that with the fade to black a la
<v Speaker 1>Frankie Kazarian. Although you may know that move these days
<v Speaker 1>as the dead Eye from one Hangman page the aw
<v Speaker 1>World Champion. I didn't hear any cowboy shit chance, though
<v Speaker 1>I did hear holy shit chance after this, but I
<v Speaker 1>did not hear them say cowboy shit. Sena came back
<v Speaker 1>and hit the Randy Orton draping DDT, to which Cole
<v Speaker 1>shouted vintage John Cena, which doesn't really make any sense, Cole,
<v Speaker 1>and then he hit the vipers pose. Styles got up
<v Speaker 1>and Sena dropped him with an RKO, and as soon
<v Speaker 1>as he hit that RKO the place exploded, but he
<v Speaker 1>only got two now. At that point, Sena backed into
<v Speaker 1>the corner he was setting up for the Orton punt kick.
<v Speaker 1>As he came in for the kick, Styles moved out
<v Speaker 1>of the way. He hit Sena with an attitude adjustment
<v Speaker 1>of his own, again only for two and a half.
<v Speaker 1>Styles started to do that you can't see me bit
<v Speaker 1>to Sena, but Sena reached up and he goozled him.
<v Speaker 1>I have him by the throat, Undertaker Style, and then
<v Speaker 1>he lifted aj and slammed him with a choke slam
<v Speaker 1>for a near fall. So a little nod there to
<v Speaker 1>the Boneyard match at WrestleMania between Styles and Undertaker, And
<v Speaker 1>at this point the crowd picked up on. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>how could you not right pick up on what's going
<v Speaker 1>on here with all these moves, So the crowd's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this might be the new thing now for however many
<v Speaker 1>mattress Sena has left. Oh, since we're kind of going
<v Speaker 1>back in the greatest hits, we want to see him
<v Speaker 1>do a six y one nine of all the fucking
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they could have the Phoenix splash. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it could have been worse, but they start chanting six
<v Speaker 1>y one nine right, and I'm sure in his head
<v Speaker 1>scene is like, oh, we got improvise here, you know,
<v Speaker 1>And I'm like, I gotta see this, Like this will
<v Speaker 1>either be if he actually does this, this will either
<v Speaker 1>be the greatest thing I've ever seen or the worst,
<v Speaker 1>like one or the other. And sure enough, immediately after
<v Speaker 1>the fans begin channing six to one nine and again
<v Speaker 1>just the absurdity of it is just hilarious to me.
<v Speaker 1>But right after that, he drops Styles onto the middle
<v Speaker 1>rope in perfect position for a six one nine, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, son of a bitch, I am seated. I
<v Speaker 1>have to see this. There's no fucking what. You got
<v Speaker 1>two guys in the ring who were in no position
<v Speaker 1>to be doing a six to one nine. Especially Sena.
<v Speaker 1>Styles is more athletically gifted than Sena when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to pulling off some of these moves. Even Aj Styles,
<v Speaker 1>it's a movie he's never done before. He's forty eight
<v Speaker 1>years old. He ain't doing a fucking six to one nine.
<v Speaker 1>And if AJ Styles is not doing a six y
<v Speaker 1>one nine, then John Cena sure as hell ain't doing
<v Speaker 1>a six one nine. But damn it, it looks like
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna try. So he hits the ropes and as
<v Speaker 1>soon as he comes off, aj cuts him off with
<v Speaker 1>a clothesline. And that was the only time in this
<v Speaker 1>entire match that Aj Styles actually got booed by this
<v Speaker 1>crowd because they were deprived of seeing either the greatest
<v Speaker 1>or the worst ever delivered in the history of wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>It could still happen. There's rumors of Sena and Dom.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying there could be more chance of sixty
<v Speaker 1>one nine. Sena may end up having his chance at
<v Speaker 1>some point. So Styles followed with a springboard four point fifty,
<v Speaker 1>but there was no pin attempt. He tuned up the
<v Speaker 1>band instead, and he hit a picture perfect Sean Michael's
<v Speaker 1>sweet Chin music and only got a two and a
<v Speaker 1>half count. Styles removed his elbow pad and he hit
<v Speaker 1>the phenomenal forearm, but again only got two. Seena hit
<v Speaker 1>an attitude adjustment out of nowhere for an earfall. Scena
<v Speaker 1>then sat Styles on the top turn buckle and he
<v Speaker 1>went to the middle rope and Sena tried to get
<v Speaker 1>Styles on his shoulders. Styles instead knocked him off the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Seena's on his feet now and Aj comes diving off
<v Speaker 1>at Sena with a crossbody, and Sena rolls through and
<v Speaker 1>then he hit Styles with a tombstone pile driver and
<v Speaker 1>Sena immediately hoists him back up and he hits one
<v Speaker 1>final AA to put him away and pin Aj Styles.
<v Speaker 1>This is about twenty seven minutes or so into this match.
<v Speaker 1>After the match was over seeing, it helped Aj to
<v Speaker 1>his feet and the two men hugged and they raised
<v Speaker 1>each other's arms before Styles left the ring so that
<v Speaker 1>Scena could celebrate all by himself. Sena left the ring,
<v Speaker 1>he kissed his wife at ringside, and he headed to
<v Speaker 1>the back. This was an excellent match with plenty of
<v Speaker 1>callbacks and tributes to some of their greatest rivals. If
<v Speaker 1>it was anybody else doing this, okay, if it was
<v Speaker 1>any other circumstance, if it was anybody else spamming finishers,
<v Speaker 1>spamming other people, not even their own, just like a
<v Speaker 1>fucking video game. And I think Wade Barrett even made
<v Speaker 1>the car or maybe cold it. But they made the
<v Speaker 1>comment at one point that it's like a video game
<v Speaker 1>where you sort of create your own wrestlerroom program them
<v Speaker 1>to use every fucking finishing move from the existing roster.
<v Speaker 1>That's what this was. This was like the video game
<v Speaker 1>match in some ways of the show. Anybody else does this,
<v Speaker 1>it's probably gonna get raked over the coals, you know,
<v Speaker 1>and it's gonna be like, all right, we can we
<v Speaker 1>not do this please. But in this case, this is
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different because it wasn't just that these
<v Speaker 1>two were relying on going out there and just spamming moves,
<v Speaker 1>you know, from other people. Here you have two men
<v Speaker 1>who are in the twilight of their careers. Okay, Sena
<v Speaker 1>is down after this show here, Sena is down to
<v Speaker 1>the final four appearances and even flashed the four like
<v Speaker 1>the horsemen when the match was over. You've got Boston
<v Speaker 1>on November tenth, so we're not seeing him for another month,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, Boston on November tenth, Madison Square Garden
<v Speaker 1>on November seventeenth, Survivor Series on November twenty ninth, Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night's Main Event on December thirteenth, and that's it. So
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of guys on that roster that he's
<v Speaker 1>not going to have the chance to work with, like
<v Speaker 1>the Miz, like russev Right, like Edge when he busted
<v Speaker 1>out Edges moves at was it in the Logan Paul match,
<v Speaker 1>might have been Clash in Paris, maybe SummerSlam. So there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of guys that he's not going to have
<v Speaker 1>the chance to work with. And this is his way
<v Speaker 1>of saying thank you, you know, It's like it's like
<v Speaker 1>a wink and a nod. And you see what Copeland did,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, the aw pay per viewed all out
<v Speaker 1>when he was using John Cena's moves, right, This is
<v Speaker 1>just their way of sort of paying it back and
<v Speaker 1>showing respect to each other. And as far as you
<v Speaker 1>know AJ Styles is concerned, yeah, I would say that
<v Speaker 1>there's zero chance that aj Styles if he's true and
<v Speaker 1>honest about retiring next year, possibly as soon as WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>He's not going to have the chance to work with
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe, He's not going to have the chance to
<v Speaker 1>work with a Frankie Kazarian or Christopher Daniels, and he's
<v Speaker 1>certainly not going to be working with Sting. So was
<v Speaker 1>there way to just, you know, again, tip that and
<v Speaker 1>have some fun with it And the fans were having
<v Speaker 1>fun with it, and there's nothing wrong with that, So
<v Speaker 1>it's just added to the match. It added to the
<v Speaker 1>fun of the match. But you consider the names they
<v Speaker 1>paid tribute to tonight, and I was thinking about this also,
<v Speaker 1>like aj right, Sting, Kazarian, Daniels, Right, Daniels goes back
<v Speaker 1>a long way too, to those the turn of the century,
<v Speaker 1>really late nineties, turn of the century, Samoa Joe and
<v Speaker 1>then seen It right Miz and Russev And in the
<v Speaker 1>past he's paid tribute to other wrestlers as well. But
<v Speaker 1>they they kind of run the gamut, you know, over
<v Speaker 1>the last couple of decades, and it just illustrates how
<v Speaker 1>long their careers have stretched. These guys have been around
<v Speaker 1>for a long time and it's a weird thing for
<v Speaker 1>someone like me, because I've been a fan of wrestling
<v Speaker 1>since nineteen eighty seven, okay, and I was very young
<v Speaker 1>at that point, but I would say those were probably
<v Speaker 1>my earliest memories of wrestling from around that time period,
<v Speaker 1>like WrestleMania three right around then. So I grew up
<v Speaker 1>and I was a big fan of the Golden Era
<v Speaker 1>of wrestling right mid to late eighties, early nineties. Then
<v Speaker 1>you got the late nineties and the Monday Night War
<v Speaker 1>and the Attitude era and all that. It's just this
<v Speaker 1>really fun time to be a fan. And then that
<v Speaker 1>bled into the Ruthless Aggression era, and that's really where
<v Speaker 1>while there was a lot of great stuff during that era,
<v Speaker 1>it was really from that point and beyond that, once
<v Speaker 1>we got past the SmackDown six era and all that,
<v Speaker 1>where it's like, all right, you know, this stuff doesn't
<v Speaker 1>really compare to what came before it. But now we're
<v Speaker 1>sitting here and it's over twenty fucking years since the
<v Speaker 1>Ruthless Aggression era, and so guys like John's are now
<v Speaker 1>looked at as the old crusty veterans, you know, And
<v Speaker 1>I'm just sitting here and going, man, I'm still thinking
<v Speaker 1>about you know, fucking Randy Savage and Jake Roberts and
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart and Legion of Doom and Demolition and all
<v Speaker 1>those guys. And I know I'm not the only one,
<v Speaker 1>but it just shows you, like time passes by quickly,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the errors go by, and you don't really
<v Speaker 1>you don't spend your waking hours of every day thinking
<v Speaker 1>about it, and then one day you just turn around.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, holy shit, I can't believe that you know,
<v Speaker 1>this much time has gone by, But that's who these
<v Speaker 1>guys are now. Now, these guys are the legends. You know.
<v Speaker 1>These guys are, you know, the old guys, and it's
<v Speaker 1>just crazy. It's crazy how the errors come and go,
<v Speaker 1>you know, And when these guys are gone, the people
<v Speaker 1>that you see on TV right now, there will be
<v Speaker 1>plenty of fans who are watching wrestling right now in
<v Speaker 1>ten fifteen years, who we're going to look at Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns the same way, and Drew McIntyre the same way,
<v Speaker 1>and Kevin Owens the same way. One day, Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 1>he'll be looked at that way too. It's pretty incredible.
<v Speaker 1>Sena versus Stone Cold is missed. Well, that's you know,
<v Speaker 1>it's one of those kind of Battle of the Eras
<v Speaker 1>matches that just kind of passed us by. See, I
<v Speaker 1>never thought that would have been a good match to
<v Speaker 1>do anyway, Like of all the old dream matches that
<v Speaker 1>you could have done, were like they kind of just
<v Speaker 1>missed each other. Sena and Stone Cold, that would not
<v Speaker 1>have been very high on my list. I'm sure it
<v Speaker 1>would have been for some people, but eh, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it would have been good, but that wouldn't have
<v Speaker 1>been near the top of my list. These two, though, again,
<v Speaker 1>they always had a chemistry in the ring that was great.
<v Speaker 1>I've never seen them had a single bad match in
<v Speaker 1>my entire life. I thought this was a fitting end
<v Speaker 1>to what ended up being a classic rivalry, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>very happy for not only Sena that he had the
<v Speaker 1>chance here at the tail end of this run to
<v Speaker 1>sort of course correct and show people what he can
<v Speaker 1>really do, but Aj styles too, because let's be honest here,
<v Speaker 1>Aj the last several years in WWE has felt wasted,
<v Speaker 1>like they could have been doing a lot more with him,
<v Speaker 1>and now we know that he's hanging it up soon too,
<v Speaker 1>So I'm glad he got to have a match like
<v Speaker 1>this where he can go out there and steal the
<v Speaker 1>show and get the kind of reaction that he got here,
<v Speaker 1>you know, tonight. And I can only hope. I can
<v Speaker 1>only hope that WWE will treat, you know, the end
<v Speaker 1>of AJ's career in the way that they are now
<v Speaker 1>treating this last leg of John Cena's run, and not
<v Speaker 1>the first half of it, because I would not trust
<v Speaker 1>WWE to do an AJ Styles retirement tour next year,
<v Speaker 1>you know, a retirement program heading into WrestleMania. Sure, a
<v Speaker 1>retirement run these people, not a chance that think about
<v Speaker 1>like this was John Cena, like one of the biggest
<v Speaker 1>stars of all time in the history of this company,
<v Speaker 1>and somehow they bungle the good portion of this. What
<v Speaker 1>do you think they would do to a guy who
<v Speaker 1>actually did not make his name in WWA. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to find out, but for AJ's sake, I hope
<v Speaker 1>they give him a nice sendoff. We had Rhea Ripley,
<v Speaker 1>and we had Eosky against Oscar and Kyrie Sayne. This
<v Speaker 1>was a homecoming for Rhea on what just so happens
<v Speaker 1>to be her twenty ninth birthday. I didn't even realize
<v Speaker 1>that I already figured Ria was gonna win anyway. Then
<v Speaker 1>I realized, oh shit, it's on her birthday. There's no
<v Speaker 1>fucking chance that this woman is losing here. But think
<v Speaker 1>about what she has already accomplished. Think about what she
<v Speaker 1>has accomplished, and think about like how popular she is.
<v Speaker 1>She's not even thirty yet. Wild So Oscar and Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>they attacked the baby faces right at the bell, everybody
<v Speaker 1>got involved. EO, though, was alone with Oscar. When the
<v Speaker 1>dust settled, EO got the better of their exchange. She
<v Speaker 1>hit Oscar with a crazy suicide dive out to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>EO dodged an attack by Kyrie, but that allowed Oscar
<v Speaker 1>to then shove EO into the ring post. And you know,
<v Speaker 1>the way they worked this match was kind of smart
<v Speaker 1>and it makes sense. They kept Rhea out of it
<v Speaker 1>as long as they possibly could not, unlike the way
<v Speaker 1>they booked the tag match at Russell Paloozo. Yet see
<v Speaker 1>I'm punking aj styles against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
<v Speaker 1>How do you do a match like that? You keep
<v Speaker 1>aj aut as long as possible, right, and you just
<v Speaker 1>get people like salivating to see this woman finally tag
<v Speaker 1>into this match, and then when she does right, it
<v Speaker 1>blows the roof off the place. That's kind of how
<v Speaker 1>they work this, right. The Heels got the heat on
<v Speaker 1>EO for a long time. Every time she would try
<v Speaker 1>to go for a tag, they would pull her away,
<v Speaker 1>and Rhea was just on the apron begging for a
<v Speaker 1>tag and waiting for a tag, and the people wanted
<v Speaker 1>her to get the hot tag. So finally she gets
<v Speaker 1>it and the place goes nuts and Kyrie cut her
<v Speaker 1>off actually pretty quick, and the Heels took over until
<v Speaker 1>Ripley nailed Kyrie with a big boot. Rhea gave Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>a razor's edge at one point that just absolutely folded
<v Speaker 1>this poor girl up, I mean like a freaking accordion,
<v Speaker 1>only for EO to follow with a missile drop kick.
<v Speaker 1>As soon as Kyrie kind of stumbled back to her feet,
<v Speaker 1>she got blasted by a missile drop kick off the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. EO went for recover, only got a two count.
<v Speaker 1>So Kyrie gave Leo and Alabama slam much safer than
<v Speaker 1>the one that she gave on Raw on Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>and knocked Rhea Ripley off the apron. Leo brought Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>off the top with an arm drag and went to
<v Speaker 1>the top herself, but Osca distracted her. Kyrie then knocked
<v Speaker 1>down EO and drove Ripley into the steel steps. EO
<v Speaker 1>came back and she wiped out both Kabuki warriors with
<v Speaker 1>an Asai moon salt on the floor. She followed with
<v Speaker 1>a proper moon salt on Kyrie in the ring, but
<v Speaker 1>Oscar broke up the cover. Osca then held Ripley almost
<v Speaker 1>in like a scorpion death drop type position so that
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie can come off the top with an insane elbow. EO,
<v Speaker 1>though was able to break up the cover. Ripley dropped
<v Speaker 1>Osca face first on the top turn buckle and then
<v Speaker 1>pulled Oska up for an avalanche riptide attempt she was
<v Speaker 1>attempting here when Kyrie tagged herself in. Ripley ended up
<v Speaker 1>hitting Kyrie with the riptide instead, and then she tagged
<v Speaker 1>in EO so that she could hit her over the
<v Speaker 1>moon salt. I like that, even though she's in her
<v Speaker 1>home country, in front of her family and friends and
<v Speaker 1>her home people, her countrymen and women, she allowed her
<v Speaker 1>good friend EO to pick up the winning fall here
<v Speaker 1>in this match, and EO hits the moon salt and
<v Speaker 1>she puts it away for the baby Faces, and Michael
<v Speaker 1>Cole said, you know, in reference to this toxic relationship
<v Speaker 1>here with Oscar and Kyrie, you know what they say,
<v Speaker 1>blind faith in your leaders will get you killed. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>yes it will. Look at Michael Cole dropping knowledge here.
<v Speaker 1>So Kyrie took the bullet for Oscar. How is Oscar
<v Speaker 1>going to respond to that? Now? It would be very
<v Speaker 1>easy for them to get their heat back. All you
<v Speaker 1>gotta do on Monday is have OSCA once again go
<v Speaker 1>ahead and missed EO in the face, or at least
<v Speaker 1>try to, because that really is the goal here, right,
<v Speaker 1>The goal is to get us to a match between
<v Speaker 1>EO Sky and OSCA. And you have a show coming
<v Speaker 1>up on November first, Saturday Night's main Event that would
<v Speaker 1>be a good place to do that match. So I
<v Speaker 1>have to assume that we're going to be getting that
<v Speaker 1>match before we get the Survivor Series, and they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to do a match between them at Survivor Series.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't make sen. I mean, it would make more sense
<v Speaker 1>if they end up in the women's war Games match.
<v Speaker 1>So if we get that match with EO and OSCA,
<v Speaker 1>even Saturday Nights Made Event is still several weeks away,
<v Speaker 1>But to me, that would make sense instead of just
<v Speaker 1>kind of doing it on TV, that they would do
<v Speaker 1>it on a show like that. But they have, you know, again,
<v Speaker 1>more runway here, I think with this feud, so we're
<v Speaker 1>not done yet. Does Rhea move on to something else
<v Speaker 1>and kind of leaves EO to her own with Oscar
<v Speaker 1>and Kyrie? No, I don't think so necessarily because why
<v Speaker 1>would she do that. You know, she wants to back
<v Speaker 1>up her friend. So I think that we'll get more
<v Speaker 1>probably with all four of them. I enjoyed the match.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Rihea got the big reaction for her entrance
<v Speaker 1>and her hot tags and all the big spots that
<v Speaker 1>you would expect. But it's very interesting. I felt like
<v Speaker 1>during the match itself, I felt like it was EO
<v Speaker 1>who was getting more of the chance. Right. The crowd
<v Speaker 1>was every bit as much into Eo Sky because again,
<v Speaker 1>she's super likable. They really, I mean, between EO and Stephanie,
<v Speaker 1>they have two babyfaces on that women's raw roster that
<v Speaker 1>are extremely likable. And with EO, she gets a reaction
<v Speaker 1>with everything she does pretty much every time she's out there,
<v Speaker 1>so I mean they make a great combination. Here is
<v Speaker 1>a big win for the baby Face is a clean
<v Speaker 1>win for the baby Faces. I don't think anybody should
<v Speaker 1>have really expected her to lose in Perth. Why would
<v Speaker 1>that mean is Vince McMahon secretly running the show? Still?
<v Speaker 1>Wait a minute, Wait a minute, Pale, you mean to
<v Speaker 1>tell me not only are we in her home country,
<v Speaker 1>but it's her birthday. We got a beat her, It'll
<v Speaker 1>be great heat. Of course, Ria was winning in Perth.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing that surprised me is that we got
<v Speaker 1>to Perth and Ria wasn't challenging for the championship. That's
<v Speaker 1>the only thing that surprised me, because when they first
<v Speaker 1>announced this, I thought, for sure, if not at Crown Jewel,
<v Speaker 1>then on the Raw after Rio would be getting a
<v Speaker 1>shot of the Women's World Championship. And I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe you know what, I maintain that that is what
<v Speaker 1>we would have gotten had Naomi now gotten pregnant. I
<v Speaker 1>think it would have been maybe not on this show
<v Speaker 1>because it's champion against champion, but I think it would
<v Speaker 1>have been Naomi and Rhea on Raw this Monday, because
<v Speaker 1>how do you not build to that, you know what
<v Speaker 1>I mean? Like, what would Naomi or who would Naomi
<v Speaker 1>be feuding with otherwise, I still believe that would have
<v Speaker 1>been the destination most likely. But Ria in Perth, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>come on, man, I mean you could not have honestly
<v Speaker 1>expected her to lose here. This week's episode is sponsored
<v Speaker 1>by Express VPN. You probably browsed in incognito mode before
<v Speaker 1>most of us have, but incognito may not be entirely true.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, Google recently settled a five billion with a
<v Speaker 1>b dollar lawsuit after being accused of secretly tracking users
<v Speaker 1>in incognito mode. And what was Google's defense? Incognito does
<v Speaker 1>not mean invisible. All of your online activity is still
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent visible to a ton of third parties.
<v Speaker 1>That is, unless you use ExpressVPN. So here's the deal.
<v Speaker 1>Without ExpressVPN, these third parties can still see every website
<v Speaker 1>you visit, even in incognito mode. That includes your Internet
<v Speaker 1>service provider, your mobile network provider, even your employer potentially
<v Speaker 1>if you're browsing your work on their Wi Fi network.
<v Speaker 1>ExpressVPN reroutes one hundred percent of your traffic through secure,
<v Speaker 1>encrypted servers, so third parties can't see your browsing history.
<v Speaker 1>ExpressVPN is the best VPN because it hides your IP address,
<v Speaker 1>making it extremely difficult for third parties to track your
<v Speaker 1>online activity. It's also easy to use. With a tap
<v Speaker 1>of a button in the app, you can choose your
<v Speaker 1>location wherever you want that to be, and boom, you're protected.
<v Speaker 1>It's just that simple. It also works on all of
<v Speaker 1>your devices, including phones, laptops, tablets, and smart TVs, which
<v Speaker 1>means that you can stay private even on the go,
<v Speaker 1>not just at home. It's one thing to protect yourself
<v Speaker 1>when you're browsing in your bedroom, but why should that
<v Speaker 1>be any different in your hotel room or at the airport.
<v Speaker 1>There's a reason ExpressVPN is ranked number one by top
<v Speaker 1>tech reviewers like c Net and The Verge. You know,
<v Speaker 1>when I've been on the road traveling for House of Glory,
<v Speaker 1>for example, I was just in Philadelphia last month. I'll
<v Speaker 1>be back in Chicago next month. I've got my laptop
<v Speaker 1>with me, or I've got my tablet. I make sure
<v Speaker 1>that I've got the Express VPN app installed and active,
<v Speaker 1>because it gives me the peace of mind to know
<v Speaker 1>that I've got the same level of protection I have
<v Speaker 1>at home. I won't settle for anything less. I can't.

<v Speaker 1>solo Monster. And they closed with the Men's Crown Jewel
<v Speaker 1>Championship match between Cody Rhoades and Seth Rollins. Rollins wore
<v Speaker 1>the watch that Cody gifted it. See, his watch was
<v Speaker 1>a lot nicer than mine. Nobody gifted me this watch.
<v Speaker 1>I bought this for myself. But I will tell you
<v Speaker 1>what I don't do. I don't take the watch off
<v Speaker 1>each night when I put it on the charger. I
<v Speaker 1>don't do it as dramatically as Seth Rollins did here
<v Speaker 1>because when he got down to the ring and now
<v Speaker 1>this is the watch, I should point out, this is
<v Speaker 1>the watch that Cody gifted to him in Philadelphia after
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania last year, when Cody finished the story and Rollins
<v Speaker 1>was his shield right and he provided the assist so
<v Speaker 1>that he could win the WWE Championship, But he very
<v Speaker 1>dramatically removed the watch as he disrobed here in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and he also had some yellow dusty polka dots going
<v Speaker 1>down the length of his tights. Early in the match,
<v Speaker 1>the crowd chanted wanker or wanka at Rollins, which he
<v Speaker 1>was not very happy about. They had called him a
<v Speaker 1>wanker on SmackDown Friday Night as well when Cody was talking.
<v Speaker 1>So leaves the ring. He goes over to the announced
<v Speaker 1>desk and he's putting the blame on them, and specifically
<v Speaker 1>he's putting the blame on Wade Barrett for this for
<v Speaker 1>some reason. And Cole is kind of in between them,
<v Speaker 1>and he gives Michael Cole a shove and Cole's like,
<v Speaker 1>what are you doing? Calm down, you know, and all
<v Speaker 1>this stuff. So now he's assaulting the announcers and Cody
<v Speaker 1>attacks him from behind as Rollins is quarreling here with Cole. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Cody gets draped over the barricade by Seth. Seth delivers
<v Speaker 1>a double foot stomp to the shoulder. Later on, Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>went for a disaster kick. Rolins, though ran up behind
<v Speaker 1>him and he had a set out power bomb for two.
<v Speaker 1>Rollins targeted the arm in the shoulder and at one
<v Speaker 1>point he did the star dust cartwheel and pose, you know,
<v Speaker 1>a little pose that I can't do it, but you
<v Speaker 1>know the star dust pose mocking him. He's mocking this man.
<v Speaker 1>And then Rollins did some dusty jabs. Cody responded with
<v Speaker 1>jabs of his own. Rollins applied to figure four and
<v Speaker 1>Road struggled for a while before finally getting out of it.
<v Speaker 1>Cody fought back and hit a vertebraker and Cody then
<v Speaker 1>after that landed a disaster kick, a bionic elbow, a
<v Speaker 1>suicide dive, and a Cody cutter, which is quite the
<v Speaker 1>flurry of offense. It still was not enough to hit
<v Speaker 1>a three count, though he got two and a half
<v Speaker 1>out of it, but it still wasn't enough. She's still angry.
<v Speaker 1>She's still angry, isn't she? Jeremy Rose with a fifteen
<v Speaker 1>dollars Kyrie super chat oscar is going to be very angry.
<v Speaker 1>I can only imagine the Kyrie that she's going to
<v Speaker 1>let out on Raw this Monday. Kyrie is the one
<v Speaker 1>who took the losing fall in that Tech team match.
<v Speaker 1>Can you imagine how loud that's going to be? Thank you, Jeremy,
<v Speaker 1>So Rollins he avoided another does aster a kick attempt
<v Speaker 1>quickly followed that up with a pedigree for a two count.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we ought to make a list. This could
<v Speaker 1>be a good exercise here. We ought to make a
<v Speaker 1>list of all of the old finishing moves that used
<v Speaker 1>to mean something in wrestling, and now they mean absolutely
<v Speaker 1>fuck all, because the super kick and the pedigree would
<v Speaker 1>be number one and two. I think at the top
<v Speaker 1>of that list, Like these moves used to be. Like
<v Speaker 1>when these guys would hit these moves, they were done right.
<v Speaker 1>It was rare people would kick out, but it was
<v Speaker 1>rare that people would kick out of it. And now
<v Speaker 1>especially the pedigree, Like, first of all, it doesn't even
<v Speaker 1>look good. It didn't look good honestly for the last
<v Speaker 1>probably fucking ten years that Triple H was actually using
<v Speaker 1>it himself, just kind of lets go when the guy
<v Speaker 1>just falls down. But man, I mean it's it's just
<v Speaker 1>another move. Man. I can't even call it a set
<v Speaker 1>up move. It's just what is it setting up for.
<v Speaker 1>It's not setting up for anything. It's not setting up
<v Speaker 1>for the finishes Canadian Destroyer, thank you, Except Penta does
<v Speaker 1>use it as a finisher in WWE, which I appreciate.
<v Speaker 1>So I try to forget about all the times in
<v Speaker 1>aw where he just used it and it you know,
<v Speaker 1>people just got right back up from it. I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>at you, Orange Cassidy. But seriously, those two moves would
<v Speaker 1>have to be at or near the very top of
<v Speaker 1>the list. So Cody tried to cross roads. Rollins hit
<v Speaker 1>one of his own for two Rhoades, avoided a Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>splash but missed a super Cody Cutter in spectacular fashion.
<v Speaker 1>This was actually hilarious, so Cody he went flying. This
<v Speaker 1>was almost as hilarious as that match with Cody and
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown that time when they each went
<v Speaker 1>for something and they both missed and they just kind
<v Speaker 1>of flew by. They like passed by each other through
<v Speaker 1>mid air like two passing ships in the night, and
<v Speaker 1>just crashed and burned. This wasn't quite as funny as that.
<v Speaker 1>But Cody went up for this super Cody cutter and
<v Speaker 1>nobody was there. Rollins had moved and Cody he got
<v Speaker 1>some height and he just splatted on the mat. Rollins
<v Speaker 1>then immediately hit a curb stump but only got a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. So at that point Rollins went outside over
<v Speaker 1>to the timekeeper's area and he sees the watch. The
<v Speaker 1>watch is sitting right next to the timekeeper Berkeley Berkeley Hoptman,
<v Speaker 1>the son of a tugboat two, sees the watch and
<v Speaker 1>he picks it up and he places the watch around
<v Speaker 1>his fist, right right around his fingers, which I think
<v Speaker 1>is the same thing that John Cena did to Cody
<v Speaker 1>when Sena kicked him in the dick and turned heel
<v Speaker 1>an elimination chamber, right. I remember Michael Cole was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>he hit him with brass nuts. It's like, it's a
<v Speaker 1>fucking watch, Cole. So he puts the watch around his
<v Speaker 1>fingers and he he goes back to the ring, but
<v Speaker 1>before he gets in the ring, he's having this crisis
<v Speaker 1>of conscience and he's struggling with this and should I
<v Speaker 1>or should not? And he takes the watch off and
<v Speaker 1>he places it on the mat right in the corner
<v Speaker 1>of the ring, so he's not going to use it right.
<v Speaker 1>But he gets back in the ring, and as soon
<v Speaker 1>as he gets back in the ring, Cody is there
<v Speaker 1>waiting for him, and he meets him with a Cody
<v Speaker 1>cutter and a crossroads and he only gets a near fall,
<v Speaker 1>so Cody ended up trapped upside down. After this in
<v Speaker 1>the corner in a tree of woe, Rollins goes to
<v Speaker 1>the ropes in the far corner, same side of the ring,
<v Speaker 1>but in the far corner, and he hit a great
<v Speaker 1>coast to coast diving headbutt that honestly looked like it
<v Speaker 1>took as much out of him as it did out
<v Speaker 1>of Cody. Rollins followed with a Spanish fly off the
<v Speaker 1>top rope, and then he hit a manhandle slam to
<v Speaker 1>Cody for a near fall. Both men found themselves perched
<v Speaker 1>on the top rope yet again, but this time Cody
<v Speaker 1>delivered an avalanche Crossroads. You know what, we got to
<v Speaker 1>add another move to that list, the crossroads. When was
<v Speaker 1>the last time we saw Cody win with one crossroads?
<v Speaker 1>He's the WWE champion. If ever, there was a finish
<v Speaker 1>in this company to protect like they protect the tsunami splash,
<v Speaker 1>they protect the robe kick. Why are you not protecting
<v Speaker 1>the fucking champions finish? Why does it take three fucking
<v Speaker 1>crossroads to win most of his matches? Here and so
<v Speaker 1>here he hits a super crossroads right off the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and he goes for the cover, and of course Seth
<v Speaker 1>kicks out and to me, that was one fall too many. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I will say, CNNAJ, they had a lot of near
<v Speaker 1>falls in that match too, But I like that match
<v Speaker 1>right that. It just it worked there. I can excuse
<v Speaker 1>it in that match, I cannot excuse that here this
<v Speaker 1>was And I feel like we in many of these
<v Speaker 1>big main events where they do go overboard sometimes with
<v Speaker 1>the near falls. We see it in both companies way
<v Speaker 1>too often, but there's always that one moment, that one
<v Speaker 1>move where it's like, eh, I can't tell you why,
<v Speaker 1>but like that right there, that was too much for me.
<v Speaker 1>Like that, That's that was the issue I really started
<v Speaker 1>having with like Adam Cole matches where it's like I've
<v Speaker 1>seen Adam Cole matches with tons of near falls and
<v Speaker 1>it's like this these great epic battles and the crowds
<v Speaker 1>going nuts for it. But then I would see these
<v Speaker 1>matches where it's like, what the fuck are we doing here?
<v Speaker 1>Like I've lost count of how many near falls we've
<v Speaker 1>had here. It's ridiculous and it kind of takes me
<v Speaker 1>out of the match. I thought this was this was
<v Speaker 1>the one right here. I don't know how you guys
<v Speaker 1>felt about that, but for me, an avalanche crossroads. That
<v Speaker 1>needs to be the end of the match, and I
<v Speaker 1>knew that Cody wasn't winning, so it's like, why even
<v Speaker 1>do that. Let him attempt to do it, and then
<v Speaker 1>you know, Seth can kind of work his way out
<v Speaker 1>of it, you know, hit a phoenix splash or something.
<v Speaker 1>So they traded spots until Cody set up for a pedigree.
<v Speaker 1>There it is again, He's gonna go for a pedigree, guys.
<v Speaker 1>Rollins got out of it, though, he crawled to the watch,
<v Speaker 1>which was on the corner. Remember he set the watchdown
<v Speaker 1>on the mat in the corner and Rollins wraps it
<v Speaker 1>around his hand. The referee didn't see this, neither did Cody.
<v Speaker 1>Rollins then accidentally, on purpose, bumps the referee, and as
<v Speaker 1>Cody is setting up for crossroads, Rollins reaches up and
<v Speaker 1>just punches him right in the head with the watch,
<v Speaker 1>and down goes Cody. Rollins followed with a curb stump
<v Speaker 1>and then a second curb stump off the middle rope
<v Speaker 1>to finally exercise the demons and get that elusive win
<v Speaker 1>over Cody Rhodes. He came into this zero for three
<v Speaker 1>no longer, and as he did earlier with Stephanie, Vicaier.
<v Speaker 1>Triple H then gets in the ring. After the match,
<v Speaker 1>he straps the Crown Jewel title around Seth's waist and
<v Speaker 1>presents him with his brand new ring. Kathy Kelly gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. She was about to interview Rollins, but
<v Speaker 1>he yanked the mic away from her like she was
<v Speaker 1>Tony Schavanni, and Rollins said that he knew what she
<v Speaker 1>was going to. Ask him how it felt to get
<v Speaker 1>that monkey off his back? He said, it felt better
<v Speaker 1>than anybody could ever imagine. Some of us dream impossible
<v Speaker 1>dreams and have the fortitude to reach those dreams. But
<v Speaker 1>only one man reached higher than the highest. He was
<v Speaker 1>no longer the greatest of his generation. He is now
<v Speaker 1>the greatest of all time. And then they shot off
<v Speaker 1>Pyro for him as Stephanie viquerre joined Rollins in the
<v Speaker 1>ring so that they could both pose with their big
<v Speaker 1>gaudy belts, just like Cody and liv Morgan did last year.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that I thought for sure cm Punk was
<v Speaker 1>about to jump Seth during that speech, like I was
<v Speaker 1>waiting for it. I'm like, all right, now you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have him gloat and cut a speech. It's like, all right,
<v Speaker 1>this is where's punk coming from? Right? And then there
<v Speaker 1>was no cmpunk, but he was there. There's a photo
<v Speaker 1>even floating around that he was like in the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>standing there and he had his hoodie on and everything
<v Speaker 1>all covert. I think he was watching the John Cena
<v Speaker 1>aj Styles match. He had a big smile on his
<v Speaker 1>face because again Raw is in Perth, so he's probably
<v Speaker 1>gonna be on Raw Mon night. He was there, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, Okay, I mean, I guess maybe they'll save
<v Speaker 1>it for Monday, but I don't know why you wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>because we all know they're going to wrestle again, probably
<v Speaker 1>at Saturday nights made event, right, we know we're getting
<v Speaker 1>the match. Like as sick as I am of punking
<v Speaker 1>Rolins at this point has been done to death, we
<v Speaker 1>know it's coming. So I was surprised they didn't have
<v Speaker 1>him jump Seth in that spot right there. But you know,
<v Speaker 1>I guess you could say in kind of a way
<v Speaker 1>that time was not on Cody's side. Just didn't work
<v Speaker 1>out for him tonight, but the watch paid off for
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins. A win is a win. He did not
<v Speaker 1>need bron Breaker's help. He did not need Bronton Reid's help,
<v Speaker 1>but he got the win over Cody Rhodes. This did
<v Speaker 1>not need thirty minutes. This match went thirty minutes, and
<v Speaker 1>I did not enjoy this match as much as I
<v Speaker 1>did seen in styles. I did think it was a
<v Speaker 1>strong match, but it did not need to go thirty minutes.
<v Speaker 1>It was overly long. I thought that they went a
<v Speaker 1>little overboard in a way that just didn't work for
<v Speaker 1>me on some of those near falls. Still a strong match,
<v Speaker 1>it's just not one of my favorites. I do appreciate
<v Speaker 1>that it was one of those rare Vision matches that
<v Speaker 1>didn't have all the interference that we've come to expect
<v Speaker 1>in the Vision matches. I can't call it a clean win.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't a clean win, but at least we didn't
<v Speaker 1>have people running into the match. But Rollins had to
<v Speaker 1>win this, you know, especially heading into Wargames again, assuming
<v Speaker 1>the Vision is going to be a part of war Games,
<v Speaker 1>because why wouldn't they be. You got to keep the
<v Speaker 1>Vision strong going into that show. They did that with
<v Speaker 1>Bronton Reid right, absolutely the right move, and so Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins had to win. Cody Rhoades stood to gain nothing.
<v Speaker 1>What is Cody gain from beating him a fourth time. Nothing.
<v Speaker 1>The story was Seth he was losing his mind, Cody
<v Speaker 1>had gotten under his skin, Cody had gotten in his
<v Speaker 1>head about you know, needing help or or you know, Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>can he be trusted? You know who's really running the
<v Speaker 1>show here. And that's been the storyline over the last
<v Speaker 1>few weeks. And I'll tell you what, I'm happy they
<v Speaker 1>didn't do. And they even teased it on a guy.
<v Speaker 1>I guess it was yesterday on the kickoff show where
<v Speaker 1>I think Rollins was out there with the vision and
<v Speaker 1>then he kind of just walked off without them, And
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, all right, are we going to get like
<v Speaker 1>a swerve right where they want you to think that?
<v Speaker 1>Seth and Hayman, Oh my god, they're on the outs.
<v Speaker 1>They're actually gonna split these guys up. And then you
<v Speaker 1>know it's like they interfere. Here's Reed or here's Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>and then Seth wins and they're all cackling as the
<v Speaker 1>show goes off the air. I thought there was a
<v Speaker 1>decent chance that we might get that. I'm glad they
<v Speaker 1>didn't do that. Like the whole ruse. Oh he pulled
<v Speaker 1>the wool over your eyes. You actually bought it, hook
<v Speaker 1>line and sinker like, I'm glad they didn't do that
<v Speaker 1>because now the story is still there. There's still potential
<v Speaker 1>drama here to be played out with the ranks of
<v Speaker 1>the Vision. Remember earlier in the show backstage when bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker said to Bronson, read, well what happens if Cody
<v Speaker 1>beats him? And then Hayman came back in and says,
<v Speaker 1>I think you know the answer to that question, right?
<v Speaker 1>What did he mean by that? They should have seth
<v Speaker 1>Rolald that should be the first thing in his opening
<v Speaker 1>promo on Monday Night. That should be absolutely something that
<v Speaker 1>he brings up. He should confront Paul Hayman about that
<v Speaker 1>and build on that. What did you mean by that?
<v Speaker 1>Did you lose faith in me? What about you? Did
<v Speaker 1>you lose faith in me? You didn't think I could
<v Speaker 1>do it? Did you? But what does you mean by that?
<v Speaker 1>So again, that's a story angle that's kind of interesting
<v Speaker 1>that they could pursue on TV this week. I know
<v Speaker 1>why they close with this match. I mean they wanted
<v Speaker 1>to have that parting shot, you know, of the two
<v Speaker 1>Crown Jewel winners posing together and then shoot off a
<v Speaker 1>bunch of Pyro and all that, So I get that,
<v Speaker 1>and also, look, this had the real course story. Out
<v Speaker 1>of all of the matches on this show coming into this,
<v Speaker 1>this one had a better story than most. Having now
<v Speaker 1>seen the show and the match order and how everything
<v Speaker 1>played out and the quality of the matches and everything,
<v Speaker 1>they should have closed with johnsen and AJ Styles. That's
<v Speaker 1>the match that should have ended the show. It was
<v Speaker 1>John Seenea's last ever international match, last ever match in Australia.
<v Speaker 1>It was a match between two you know, legendary iconic
<v Speaker 1>figures here in the world of wrestling. You knew it
<v Speaker 1>was going to be special, and I do feel that
<v Speaker 1>the crowd, not that they weren't quiet for the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the show, but I do feel like there were
<v Speaker 1>moments maybe during the last two matches where they could
<v Speaker 1>have been a little more animated than they were. Look,
<v Speaker 1>the women went on immediately after that Style's AJ match
<v Speaker 1>or that Style Scena match, not an enviable position to
<v Speaker 1>be in, but smart because Rhea of course, was always
<v Speaker 1>going to get a reaction. I just feel like that
<v Speaker 1>would have been an appropriate way to close the show
<v Speaker 1>and send Sena off, you know, his last match in
<v Speaker 1>the country, and just sort of fade to black. But
<v Speaker 1>I get it. I get why they wanted to go
<v Speaker 1>with this. I thought it was a very good show overall,
<v Speaker 1>much more enjoyable than Wrestle Poll Looser. Zoom says the
<v Speaker 1>match that saved the show. I feel like saved is
<v Speaker 1>too strong of a word that implies that without the match,
<v Speaker 1>the show would have sucked, which is not true for me,
<v Speaker 1>though it was. If you take that match out of
<v Speaker 1>this card, then to me, this card is only marginally
<v Speaker 1>better than Wrestle Poll Loose. It's probab Actually, it's probably
<v Speaker 1>in the same same range, maybe like a B minus
<v Speaker 1>or something like that, because this really, of all the
<v Speaker 1>matches on this card, and there weren't that many of them,
<v Speaker 1>of all the matches on this card, the only one
<v Speaker 1>that will be memorable months from now is this match
<v Speaker 1>John c and n aj Styles. Nobody is going to
<v Speaker 1>be talking about or remembering or thinking about Cody and
<v Speaker 1>Seth for the Crown Jewel title, or Stephanie and Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>for the Crown Jewel title, or a tag match for
<v Speaker 1>Ria and EO. Like, no one's gonna be talking about that.
<v Speaker 1>This is the match that people will look back on
<v Speaker 1>when they go over like some of John cens greatest
<v Speaker 1>matches or aj Styles's greatest matches, or some of the
<v Speaker 1>best matches of twenty twenty five in WWE, And this
<v Speaker 1>is a match that will be on that you know,
<v Speaker 1>on that list for most people, you take that match out. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>it is a much weaker show, but I don't really
<v Speaker 1>know that. Saying it save the show is yes, elevated.
<v Speaker 1>I say that's a better Leopard Toe says elevated. That's
<v Speaker 1>a better word for it. It elevated the show. Let
<v Speaker 1>me take a look at the Oh I did not
<v Speaker 1>get a Twitter poll up, but I forgot about that. See,
<v Speaker 1>I knew I forgot something. Well, I'm gonna guess that
<v Speaker 1>most people probably gave the show a thumbs up. Just
<v Speaker 1>based on the reaction I'm seeing in the chat here,
<v Speaker 1>I think most people are pretty much in agreement with
<v Speaker 1>the sentiment that I expressed here. Now, don't forget Raw
<v Speaker 1>on Monday again, early start eight o'clock in the morning,
<v Speaker 1>Eastern time on Netflix. I'll have to let you know
<v Speaker 1>when I'm gonna go live. I'm not gonna go live
<v Speaker 1>as soon as Raw's over. I'd rather not go live
<v Speaker 1>at eleven o'clock at night if it could be avoided.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know what's going on yet, so kind
<v Speaker 1>of like today, I'll keep you guys posted on X
<v Speaker 1>most likely or maybe the podcast tomorrow, but I'll let
<v Speaker 1>you guys know what's going on with that. Think a
<v Speaker 1>look at your super chats here and find out what
<v Speaker 1>you guys thought of. Crown Jewel Raw at eight am
<v Speaker 1>is crazy. It's Monday morning. Raw. You could have raw
<v Speaker 1>with your eggs and bacon. You could have a raw
<v Speaker 1>with your coffee in the morning if you drink coffee,
<v Speaker 1>maybe a bagel donut. Joseph Stewart says, rest in peace,
<v Speaker 1>Diane Keaton, Yes, indeed if she passed away today the
<v Speaker 1>age of seventy nine. Joseph wants to know what are
<v Speaker 1>your three favorite scenes in the Dark Night? Oh, my God,
<v Speaker 1>in the Dark Night. My three favorite scenes, well, my
<v Speaker 1>absolute favorite scene, maybe in any movie ever, is the
<v Speaker 1>interrogation scene. Fucking unbelievable. The tension ugh so great and
<v Speaker 1>the spliceing going back and forth between the different locations
<v Speaker 1>as he's interrogating him. So the interrogation scene, I would
<v Speaker 1>say the Joker's pencil trick has to be one, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, maybe the opening bank heist. Maybe. I
<v Speaker 1>think the scene on the train, it was a train
<v Speaker 1>right with the boat. I'm sorry not the train with
<v Speaker 1>Zeus would be pretty high up there as well. It's
<v Speaker 1>funny how Zeus Tiny Tiny Lister, the late Tiny Lister,
<v Speaker 1>actually had a pretty pivotal role in that movie. Joseph says,
<v Speaker 1>if he had lived, do you think that Heath Ledger
<v Speaker 1>would have returned as the Joker in The Dark Knight Rises?
<v Speaker 1>I do. I do think he would have. Maybe he
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he would have been necessarily the main
<v Speaker 1>antagonist in the movie. That probably still would have been Bane,
<v Speaker 1>But I do think he would have been in that movie.
<v Speaker 1>Do you know why Jack Nicholson was in the party?
<v Speaker 1>That party picture at the end of The Shining? You know,
<v Speaker 1>I saw The Shining many years ago. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember. I don't remember. Joseph says, would you
<v Speaker 1>like to see Christian Bale and Hathaway and Christopher Nolan
<v Speaker 1>return and do another Batman movie like a Dark Knight
<v Speaker 1>Returns movie in the Nolan verse? Now, I I'd rather
<v Speaker 1>he just sort of leave it alone. I think what
<v Speaker 1>he created is sort of a masterpiece all by itself,
<v Speaker 1>and I think that probably best to just leave well
<v Speaker 1>enough alone, Prince Vegeta. I remember when we were all
<v Speaker 1>saying that John Cena was washed up and can't go anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Since SummerSlam, he has proved a lot of us wrong.
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning of the review. Man, I said,
<v Speaker 1>the last three of four plees, the John Cena match
<v Speaker 1>has stolen the show SummerSlam Paris and now this show.
<v Speaker 1>The stuff with Brocket Russell Palouza was fucking terrible, so
<v Speaker 1>we don't count that. Joseph Stewart says, how different would
<v Speaker 1>The Dark Knight Rises have been if Leonardo DiCaprio played
<v Speaker 1>the Riddler in the movie in Bain was not the villain.
<v Speaker 1>DiCaprio is the Riddler. It would have been different. Would
<v Speaker 1>it have been better? It's hard to say. Man, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>to picture Leo as the Riddler. I don't I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if that's the right fit for him. Have you
<v Speaker 1>seen Bram Stroker's Dracula with Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder?
<v Speaker 1>That is one I did not see. Also, who do
<v Speaker 1>you think could have played Harley Quinn and Christopher Nolan's
<v Speaker 1>Batman movies. I think Sarah Michelle Geller would have been
<v Speaker 1>perfect in the role or Julius Stiles. You know, Sarah
<v Speaker 1>Michelle Geller is an interesting one. I think her over
<v Speaker 1>Julius Styles. I think that could have worked. What character
<v Speaker 1>did she play in that Scooby Doo movie? Tommy Kalela
<v Speaker 1>with a twenty dollars super chat says that scene of
<v Speaker 1>versus aj match was such a beautiful love story wrestling wise,
<v Speaker 1>honestly would say that might be the match of the year.
<v Speaker 1>I just loved aj styles face when Alicia announced him
<v Speaker 1>like he was genuinely shocked and laughed. Buy or sell
<v Speaker 1>Joker and Harley Quinn or Mickey and Mallory Knox from
<v Speaker 1>Natural Born Killers. I'm gonna buy on Joker and Harley Quinn.
<v Speaker 1>I was very young when I saw that Natural Born
<v Speaker 1>Killers movie in the theater when it came out, and
<v Speaker 1>I was definitely too young to be seeing it. It
<v Speaker 1>was yeah, and that was not my father's brightest move.
<v Speaker 1>Joseph Stewart says, does Bo Dallas' uncle Howdy reminds you
<v Speaker 1>of Heath Ledger's Joker and was Heath Ledger's Joker and
<v Speaker 1>inspiration of the Uncle Howdy character. I see a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of it in there. Maybe I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>say that it was the inspiration for it because I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if that's true, and there's not enough about
<v Speaker 1>the character that like it screams like a blatant, you know,
<v Speaker 1>copy of the Joker. It's possible that he borrowed elements
<v Speaker 1>for it, but I'm gonna say no. Dry Chickens says
<v Speaker 1>the talent did good on the Crown Jewel Show. I'm
<v Speaker 1>still not watching Raw and SmackDown. They need to shake
<v Speaker 1>up the roster, the creative team and stories. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>brother Joseph Stewart. Did you know that Batman comic Nightfall
<v Speaker 1>was the inspiration of the dark Knight Rises with Bain
<v Speaker 1>breaking Batman's back? I didn't know that. Actually I knew
<v Speaker 1>about Nightfall's reload this year. Get all the latest ones
<v Speaker 1>here on the list that you guys can see him
<v Speaker 1>loving this new format. By the way, I found a
<v Speaker 1>way to avoid that other new format that I fucking hated.
<v Speaker 1>This is so much better. We have horrifying dried chicken
<v Speaker 1>with a five dollars super Chat, Triple H got to
<v Speaker 1>call up Obafemi, Trick Williams, Kalanie, Jordan, Lash Legends, and
<v Speaker 1>Jada park We need some more black wrestlers on the
<v Speaker 1>main roster. I think you just named all of them
<v Speaker 1>like gotta save something for NXT. Brother. You can't be
<v Speaker 1>calling them all up at once. I think all of
<v Speaker 1>them will eventually make their way to the main roster,
<v Speaker 1>but you can't. I mean you're gonna put them all
<v Speaker 1>together in a faction because that would be even worse.
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi, get Oba Femi up first. I think lash
<v Speaker 1>Legend will actually do well on the main roster. I
<v Speaker 1>would not have said that a year ago, year and
<v Speaker 1>a half ago, but I do think that she'll get
<v Speaker 1>the call sooner than later. I think there's no reason
<v Speaker 1>to rush Kalani, not with what she's doing right now
<v Speaker 1>with the TNA stuff. Jada Parker Jada Parker probably, but
<v Speaker 1>you gotta figure. You got to prioritize who because you
<v Speaker 1>don't want to call them all up at once. Joseph says.
<v Speaker 1>It was announced at New York Comic Con that they
<v Speaker 1>are making an animated adaptation the Batman comic Nightfall. I
<v Speaker 1>did not hear that I had a couple of friends
<v Speaker 1>who are actually at Comic Con today. I think right
<v Speaker 1>still going on MGM balling with the nine nine nine.
<v Speaker 1>He says, h O G was a banger last night solo.
<v Speaker 1>I was the guy who stops you for a high
<v Speaker 1>five and called you Mark Henry with the sharp salmon suit.
<v Speaker 1>It was cool to meet you, and I appreciated a
<v Speaker 1>minute of your time. Hey, I appreciate you coming to
<v Speaker 1>the show and saying hello. Man, I don't get to
<v Speaker 1>see everybody all the time. Actually, last night you were
<v Speaker 1>there and you saw how packed it was. I've never
<v Speaker 1>seen it that packed before. I couldn't even see the floor,
<v Speaker 1>there were so many people. So I'm glad we we
<v Speaker 1>at least had that moment at least, but my god,
<v Speaker 1>I mean the uh we had a very unplanned uh
<v Speaker 1>sort of how shall I how shall I say it?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, recreation, A very surprising recreation of the
<v Speaker 1>infamous chair throwing incident in ECW during our main event
<v Speaker 1>last night. It was one of those moments where I'm
<v Speaker 1>very happy that we no longer have the commentary desk
<v Speaker 1>at ringside. That was scary and crazy and cool. I
<v Speaker 1>guess all the same time, it was a wild night
<v Speaker 1>to say the least. Holiday one ninety seven says Hey Solo.
<v Speaker 1>If Chris Jericho returns to WWE early next year, I
<v Speaker 1>would like to see Jericho and AJ Styles have a
<v Speaker 1>match together before AJ retires, maybe at WrestleMania. If Gunther
<v Speaker 1>doesn't face AJ, it could be a good match. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, man, if that's AJ's last match against Jericho, like,
<v Speaker 1>I think we could do better than that. If you
<v Speaker 1>want to do it, do it. I'm not sold on
<v Speaker 1>it as a WrestleMania match, though, I'm not saying I
<v Speaker 1>can't be convinced. You know, it's all about story at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the day. But yeah, some Bliss fans
<v Speaker 1>says it would be ten years since there WrestleMania thirty
<v Speaker 1>two match. You know, next year is ten years of
<v Speaker 1>AJ Styles in WWE. It's I mean, he may not
<v Speaker 1>be there the entire year, but I think it would
<v Speaker 1>be kind of nuts if they don't promote around that,
<v Speaker 1>like ten years of Styles in WWE. Holiday one ninety
<v Speaker 1>seven says thoughts On reports that Sina may challenge Dominic
<v Speaker 1>for the IC title at Survivor Series if it's true.
<v Speaker 1>We know seen it as walking into his match as
<v Speaker 1>a Grand Slam champion. I hope not. I'll talk more
<v Speaker 1>about that on the show tomorrow. I saw the same reports.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's unnecessary. Honestly, I don't mind the match itself,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, the whole thing about the IC title
<v Speaker 1>and everything, I just I don't think it's needed. Prince
<v Speaker 1>Vegeta ninety five, I'm patiently waiting for this mega push
<v Speaker 1>of Seth rollins to and he is insufferable, great wrestler,
<v Speaker 1>but his character sucks. Yeah. I've never been a fan
<v Speaker 1>of this whole character with him with the wild, wacky
<v Speaker 1>outfits and laughing for no reason like a hyena. And
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't do anything for me either. Holliday says, it
<v Speaker 1>appears they are exploring putting the SmackDown Tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>and US title belts back on the MFTs. If it happens,
<v Speaker 1>I still won't take the MFTs seriously. Yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>nobody will until they actually take the time to really
<v Speaker 1>flesh out their characters more. You could put paint on
<v Speaker 1>their faces, but it doesn't it doesn't change anything We've got.
<v Speaker 1>Naima Khan, I always listen to your podcast and fall asleep,
<v Speaker 1>So thank you. Okay, all right, then there you go.
<v Speaker 1>I guess whatever works, I hope. I hope you're not
<v Speaker 1>in play lying that the podcast puts you to sleep.
<v Speaker 1>I've had people tell me that the sound of my voice,
<v Speaker 1>though I don't know, I guess it could be calming
<v Speaker 1>sometimes and it helps them sleep at night, and I mean, hey,
<v Speaker 1>if it does, I'm happy to hear it. Mark Martineza,
<v Speaker 1>my Sena opponent predictions from a month ago have been
<v Speaker 1>correct so far. So next is Domit Survivor Series, and
<v Speaker 1>then gun through at Saturday Night's Made Event, and if
<v Speaker 1>a raw match happens, I predict Seamus. I would love
<v Speaker 1>to see Sena and Shamus not not in his final match,
<v Speaker 1>but I would love to see it, and there's only
<v Speaker 1>two more chances to do it. You got Ron Boston,
<v Speaker 1>you got raw MSG if we assume he's wrestling Domit
<v Speaker 1>Survivor Series, which, by the way, I guess that gives
<v Speaker 1>away the outcome of the match on Monday, doesn't it.
<v Speaker 1>I think the outcome of the match on Monday was
<v Speaker 1>given away the minute that Penta accidentally kicked Russev last Monday,
<v Speaker 1>So I think we can pretty much figure we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>see Russev get involved there. But thank you Mark, Ricky Cornflakes,
<v Speaker 1>you look like Mark Henry when the Shield beat him up.
<v Speaker 1>It's gotta love the solomonst I've gotten a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Mark Henry comparisons over the last twenty four hours. I
<v Speaker 1>will say, don't worry, I got a lot left in
<v Speaker 1>the tank. H we got here, we got here? Is
<v Speaker 1>it Mark? It is Mark? Mark Martinez. What do you
<v Speaker 1>think the idea of Sena tapping to Gunther in his
<v Speaker 1>last match, since it's never give up for Sena all
<v Speaker 1>of his career and that being his last match. The
<v Speaker 1>thing with Sina though, I hm, I don't see him.
<v Speaker 1>It's hard for me to imagine him tapping out. I
<v Speaker 1>could see him passing out, but I don't know about
<v Speaker 1>tapping out. We have not seen John Cena tap out
<v Speaker 1>in the match since two thousand and three, It's been
<v Speaker 1>over twenty years. That would be a huge thing if
<v Speaker 1>he did, but it would it would go against everything
<v Speaker 1>that character is about. I mean, he's never give up,
<v Speaker 1>so you know he refuses to give up. He goes out,
<v Speaker 1>referee raises the arm, it drops, and that I could
<v Speaker 1>see I don't know if you know it's hard though,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, do you beat him? Do you have somebody
<v Speaker 1>else beat him and get the rub? Not that Gunther
<v Speaker 1>needs the rub, but then that could kind of become
<v Speaker 1>his gimmick where he's the guy that goes in there
<v Speaker 1>and ends these legends once and for all. He did
<v Speaker 1>it with Goldberg, he does it with Sena. Maybe he
<v Speaker 1>does it with aj at WrestleMania next year. He canna
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of very upset people if Seena goes
<v Speaker 1>in there in DC and lo Jeremy Rose. So guessing
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series post show will be crowdless. Oh after what
<v Speaker 1>happened today, Now they'll just chalk it up to those
<v Speaker 1>crazy international fans. I think if it keeps happening where
<v Speaker 1>they're kind of like bullying poor Triple H, then yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we may end up with they may have like AI
<v Speaker 1>fans behind Triple H. The way things are going with
<v Speaker 1>AI today, would we even know the difference? It says
<v Speaker 1>Becky gonna go after Stephanie for flirting with Seth at
<v Speaker 1>the at the end of the show. Why didn't see
<v Speaker 1>him punk ruin Seth's celebration? Come on, let's make it
<v Speaker 1>believable because they had to get the money shot at
<v Speaker 1>the end with the two Crown Jewel champions posing with
<v Speaker 1>their big belts. Yeah, that was say this. If the
<v Speaker 1>idea is to go to Seth and Punk next, then
<v Speaker 1>it was very stupid not to have him attack him
<v Speaker 1>there at the end. The real CSAs would you move
<v Speaker 1>Ria to SmackDown? I think she's needed there more than
<v Speaker 1>on Raw. Yeah, I mean they could definitely use her.
<v Speaker 1>You're not wrong about that. Would I do it? I
<v Speaker 1>kind of want to see Rha and Stephanie. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if I would I would move Rhea. I might
<v Speaker 1>maybe I find somebody else, But I mean, you're not wrong.
<v Speaker 1>They could definitely use her on that show. SMG Kobe,
<v Speaker 1>what are your current and all time favorite finishers? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>in no particular order. The sharpshooter, the razor's edge was
<v Speaker 1>always a favorite of mine. The crossfaced chicken wing submission
<v Speaker 1>was the favorite of mine. Stone called stunner. I think
<v Speaker 1>that maybe the most beautiful finishing move to watch is
<v Speaker 1>Hacks black Arrow, or when he was Neville, the red Arrow,
<v Speaker 1>the red arrow of the black Arrow. Call it whatever
<v Speaker 1>you want, that's just a beautiful move. I mean, those
<v Speaker 1>are the ones I'll name off the top of my head.
<v Speaker 1>Current finishers. Though, if you say current ones, do I
<v Speaker 1>have a favorite current finish? It's a good question. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I do. In WWA, in ae W, do
<v Speaker 1>I have a favorite? No, I don't think I do.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I have that one move that's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>that's my favorite. Not really, not really. Most finishers aren't
<v Speaker 1>even really finishers anymore, you know. Maybe that's why A
<v Speaker 1>d sas solo thoughts on Roman beating Seth at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>and in the future drops the belt to Bron who
<v Speaker 1>turns face after the match, becoming officially the guy Roman
<v Speaker 1>beating Seth and then in the future drops the belt.
<v Speaker 1>I'll see you want to put the World Heavyweight Championship
<v Speaker 1>on Roman? Yeah, I mean it would be a big
<v Speaker 1>deal though for Breaker if that played out that way,
<v Speaker 1>I could get behind that because it will mean more
<v Speaker 1>for Bron Breaker, then I could get behind that. Holiday
<v Speaker 1>one ninety sevent do you think we could see a
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship match between Rollins and punk on raw
<v Speaker 1>giving punk Is in Australia. SmackDown had some attraction matches
<v Speaker 1>last night. No, I don't see them. I mean, unless
<v Speaker 1>they announce it in advance, I don't. I don't think so.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're gonna probably want to save it for
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's made event. That would be my guess, horrifying.
<v Speaker 1>Dried Chicken says, let me tell you how Kyrie saying
<v Speaker 1>can calm Oscar's nerves. Brother Kyrie gives Osca brownies with
<v Speaker 1>nice edibles and takes her out to shipping down edibles
<v Speaker 1>for Oscar. That might actually calm her down. Actually Osca
<v Speaker 1>on edibles, we'd be kind of entertaining to see how
<v Speaker 1>that plays out on TV. Toma Tonga super fan is
<v Speaker 1>with us. I'll bet he's excited. Guess who came back
<v Speaker 1>on Friday Night? The man, the myth and legend, Toma
<v Speaker 1>Tonga is back in WWE, just in time to be
<v Speaker 1>seen as last opponent. Good misdirect by WWE to let
<v Speaker 1>people think it's gunther Is that what it is? See
<v Speaker 1>it's a misdirect everybody, you know. I'll bet that Sina
<v Speaker 1>writing in the Bullet Club in AJ's intro on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight is like a little Easter egg because tom
<v Speaker 1>A Tonga was a member of Bullet Club see Triple
<v Speaker 1>Ah is playing chess. Everybody else is playing checkers. I
<v Speaker 1>think you may be onto something or you just may
<v Speaker 1>be on something, but either way, thank you brother. We
<v Speaker 1>got Bobby's world and look at what Bobby's World dropped
<v Speaker 1>on us. Bobby's World dropped a gunhar bomb, Holy shitty
<v Speaker 1>dollar gunhar bomb. Hey, Solo, thank you for my early
<v Speaker 1>birthday wish on your birthday. Since I typically donate to
<v Speaker 1>you on your birthday and mine, I think a birthday
<v Speaker 1>wish eight months early is nice. Hey, it's the least
<v Speaker 1>I could do. And I'll say it again here. Happy
<v Speaker 1>birthday Bobby's World, whenever it may be. I hope it's
<v Speaker 1>a very happy day. Thank you for the support. Tomatonga
<v Speaker 1>super fan again ten dollars, super chat. Tomatonga and Tangala
<v Speaker 1>being back in WWE together has made smack Down the
<v Speaker 1>a show again. That's going to make your Friday nights
<v Speaker 1>end with a smile on your face. Yes, it might,
<v Speaker 1>Actually it might. Like Jack Nicholson in The Shining when
<v Speaker 1>he had the smile on his face. Bogus Fan says,
<v Speaker 1>keep killing it, Solo. Thank you, Bogus Fan. It's another
<v Speaker 1>show I used to watch. Another cart I used to
<v Speaker 1>watch years ago, Mister Bogus. Remember mister Bogus, and then
<v Speaker 1>they made a live action movie with Gerard de Perdue
<v Speaker 1>playing mister Bogus. Jeremy Rose, remember when Triple Ah first
<v Speaker 1>took over and everyone was glazing how good the product was,
<v Speaker 1>And now things are so much different. Yes, the bloom,
<v Speaker 1>as they say, is off the Rose Diego Vasquez. That
<v Speaker 1>bray Wyatt tribute almost made me cry. It was a
<v Speaker 1>very nice gesture and it was a very nice response
<v Speaker 1>that it got from the crowd. I'm sure it meant
<v Speaker 1>a lot to Bow as well. Rojoe Beart twenty four.
<v Speaker 1>Every time I see Seth in the main event, I
<v Speaker 1>just think to myself, Man, I miss Gunther. Well, the
<v Speaker 1>good news is he should be back very soon. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>do you think Jay versus Roman is happening soon? If so,
<v Speaker 1>do you think, well, no, Roman doesn't want to see
<v Speaker 1>them until Christmas? Says, if so, do you think Roman
<v Speaker 1>wants to put him over so that he can take
<v Speaker 1>over the tribal chief character? Because Roman has one foot
<v Speaker 1>out the door, he does kind of feel like he
<v Speaker 1>has one foot out the door, but he's not going
<v Speaker 1>anywhere yet. So no, I don't think they're building to
<v Speaker 1>that just yet. If they're building to it at all,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that's happening anytime soon. And if they do,
<v Speaker 1>then I hope it's a hell of a lot better
<v Speaker 1>than that tribal combat garbage we got at SummerSlam two
<v Speaker 1>years ago. We got Prince Vegeta, who says, if you
<v Speaker 1>had the pen, who would you have picked as the
<v Speaker 1>first British WWE World Champion, Davey boy Smith, William Regal
<v Speaker 1>or Wade Barrett would have been Wade Back, not Wade
<v Speaker 1>Barret would have been William Regal during that period where
<v Speaker 1>he was I think he was the general Was he
<v Speaker 1>the general manager? Yeah? I think he was the GM
<v Speaker 1>during that period. It was the period where he was
<v Speaker 1>likely going to end up with the World heavyweight title.
<v Speaker 1>And he flunked a task and then that was it,
<v Speaker 1>Like that was one in fraction too many and he
<v Speaker 1>fucked himself over. Was his own fault, but him even
<v Speaker 1>hiss WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, whatever, I would say,
<v Speaker 1>Regal during that period could have had at least a
<v Speaker 1>short run with it. The Juliette says, rest in peace,
<v Speaker 1>and Diane Keaton. Jeremy says, solo, you can change one
<v Speaker 1>thing in current day wrestling. What do you change? Get
<v Speaker 1>rid of the what chant? Get rid of the what chance?
<v Speaker 1>And if you do chant what during one of these shows,
<v Speaker 1>you get an electric shock to your nipples. That'll shut
<v Speaker 1>him down real quick. Rohobert, that might not be illegal, though,
<v Speaker 1>Rohobert twenty four. I haven't watched Raw ever. You could
<v Speaker 1>just end a sentence there. I've never seen a single
<v Speaker 1>episode of Monday Night Raw, he said. I haven't watched
<v Speaker 1>Raw ever since Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>Thank God for Monday Night Football. Well, that's why you
<v Speaker 1>have me, so I can keep you up to date
<v Speaker 1>on what you're missing. Ad says the story will be
<v Speaker 1>Roman doesn't care about the world title but takes away
<v Speaker 1>what Seth took from him. Is a karma story. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean I could see that basically being the story
<v Speaker 1>around a WrestleMania match between those two. It's not about
<v Speaker 1>what I need, it's you know what the company needs,
<v Speaker 1>or it's well, actually, you know what for this Roman character,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't give a shit about the company. He would
<v Speaker 1>be more self fish about it. It's like I haven't
<v Speaker 1>forgotten what you did to me in Philadelphia two years ago. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I could see that, and Tomatonga super fan. We are
<v Speaker 1>now on the path for Tomatonga and Tongaloa to win
<v Speaker 1>the tag team belt at WrestleMania forty two and then
<v Speaker 1>set up a year old build. I think you mean
<v Speaker 1>a year long build, set up a year old build
<v Speaker 1>to a singles match at WrestleMania forty three in the
<v Speaker 1>main event. You know Saudi Arabia is a top three
<v Speaker 1>fan base for the tongas well. I'll tell you what,
<v Speaker 1>if his excellency over there wanted Tomatonga against Tongaloa, triple
<v Speaker 1>H would kiss the ring and give him the match
<v Speaker 1>that he wants. So if he if he's as big
<v Speaker 1>of a Tongans fan as you say he is, I
<v Speaker 1>put nothing past these people and Diego VASc what Sena
<v Speaker 1>dream Match has delivered or just with aj you mean
<v Speaker 1>you talked about this year. I mean the scene of
<v Speaker 1>punk match was pretty good. Yeah, the Sena Orton match
<v Speaker 1>was much better than I expected it to be. It's
<v Speaker 1>not like my favorite match of the year or anything.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know if you're just referring to match
<v Speaker 1>it because that's a short list. You know, you're just
<v Speaker 1>talking about matches this year. M yeah, I mean AJ
<v Speaker 1>would be like of the quote unquote dream matches, AJ
<v Speaker 1>would be number one. Good shit, thank you Diego. And
<v Speaker 1>I actually see just now. I don't know why I
<v Speaker 1>just noticed, but we had a bonus goal going in
<v Speaker 1>the chat and we have hit that goal. And the
<v Speaker 1>main goal where at four hundred and sixty three likes,
<v Speaker 1>can we get that to five hundred before we get
<v Speaker 1>out of here live. That's gonna be up to you
<v Speaker 1>guys while you work on that. Let's be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>Ladies and gentlemen. It is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>And doctor Scorpio is with us. Doctor Scorpio is with us,
<v Speaker 1>he says. For a second, I thought you were reading
<v Speaker 1>random comments. Well technically you are, but didn't see the
<v Speaker 1>super chat Lol. Thanks for watching, so I don't have to, brother,
<v Speaker 1>it's literally on the screen. It's the whole list of them.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, doctor Scorpio. Oh, it's always good when we
<v Speaker 1>get a double B the booker, isn't it. It's always
<v Speaker 1>good when we get to see those old tag team
<v Speaker 1>belts too. And there you see the Steiner brothers, Rick
<v Speaker 1>and Scott. Isn't that the senator from the state of Florida.
<v Speaker 1>Isn't that Rick Scott's kind of took the two names
<v Speaker 1>and put them together. Can't trust somebody with two first names.
<v Speaker 1>The Steiner brothers are going to be taking on the
<v Speaker 1>two dudes with attitude. This is when they had all
<v Speaker 1>the goal. You talk about bell collectors, these are the
<v Speaker 1>original belt collectors right here, Shawn Michaels and Diesel. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think Scott Steiner is gonna or Rick Steiner for
<v Speaker 1>that matter, is going to be taking Shawn Michael's shit
<v Speaker 1>from nineteen ninety five. Shawn Michaels better be on his
<v Speaker 1>best behavior. That would be a hell of a match, though,
<v Speaker 1>Diesel and Michaels against the Steiner brothers, it's a great
<v Speaker 1>pick right there. All right, our women's match is going
<v Speaker 1>to have the Love Maurice Ah Maurice Maurice against Dana Brook. Well. Look,
<v Speaker 1>we wish all the best of Dana Brook. She had
<v Speaker 1>to abruptly vacate her impact or well in TNA now
<v Speaker 1>TNA Knockouts Championship for reasons that were not disclosed. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>the situation is not serious. Be that as it may.
<v Speaker 1>This is not a match that uh, this is not
<v Speaker 1>a match I would book on my card. I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>Sol Goes, I gotta be honest to Robb says, I
<v Speaker 1>don't trust Neil Patrick Harris. Three first names. That's even worse.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, three first names. We have Yoko Zuna
<v Speaker 1>as one half of our main event, former two time
<v Speaker 1>WWF champion Yoko Zuna against the Undertaker. See but this
<v Speaker 1>is Ministry Undertaker. We never got to see Yoko Zuna
<v Speaker 1>against Ministry Undertaker. But there was just something about those
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker Yoko Zuna matches that I have a soft spot for.
<v Speaker 1>I actually enjoyed watching them have those matches and wrestle together.
<v Speaker 1>That's right, Grant says, BSk lives. That's right, BSk lives.
<v Speaker 1>They got they got the tats Man. It's a brotherhood,
<v Speaker 1>all right. You unlocked round number two. This should be interesting.
<v Speaker 1>We go from the Bone Street Crew and the Undertaker
<v Speaker 1>to Buried Alive, staying with the Undertaker motif here buried
<v Speaker 1>a live match. We're gonna have ourselves a tag team
<v Speaker 1>buried a live match. That's what we're gonna do. And
<v Speaker 1>there has in fact been a tag team buried a
<v Speaker 1>live match on SmackDown many years ago, and I actually
<v Speaker 1>remember enjoying that match greatly. So we have Hulk Hogan
<v Speaker 1>and Dennis Rodman Hulk Hogan in a buried alive match.
<v Speaker 1>Who's getting buried? And I do mean buried. Let's find
<v Speaker 1>out who are the poor schmucks who are getting buried
<v Speaker 1>by the Hulkster here in this match? Oho, this is
<v Speaker 1>going to be the mother of all burier is what
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna be. Hulk Hogan's gonna take one look
<v Speaker 1>at Fandango and say that don't work for me, brother,
<v Speaker 1>which is too bad, because I'm a Tyler Breeze mark
<v Speaker 1>man I have. But when he came back to NXT recently,
<v Speaker 1>he looked like he had stepped out of twenty fourteen.
<v Speaker 1>That's the Tyler Breeze man that I was a big
<v Speaker 1>fan of. But Hogan's gonna take one look at these
<v Speaker 1>two guys and he may not even show up that night.
<v Speaker 1>He made no show the event. Rodman is definitely not
<v Speaker 1>showing up for that. Fandango has no chance. Actually, Fandango
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't show up right Our next stipulation, Oh for Fuck's sake.
<v Speaker 1>We just picked this the other night. What is with
<v Speaker 1>the Punjabi prison stipulation? My god, you know I ended
<v Speaker 1>up in one of these one What was it? Me
<v Speaker 1>against Goldberg or something? In a Punjabi prison match? Be
<v Speaker 1>the booker was it? Definitely had had it out for
<v Speaker 1>me that night. Do we put the poor ladies in
<v Speaker 1>the Punjabi prison or should we do the men's match
<v Speaker 1>and make that Punjabi prison? All right, we'll do with them.
<v Speaker 1>We'll spare the ladies the indignity of being a part
<v Speaker 1>of this. Just absolute monstrosity. Oh no, that's right, Oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, How could I forgot? It was me against Khali?
<v Speaker 1>That's right. We landed on Punjabi prison for a fucking
<v Speaker 1>coli match and I was his opponent that night. Just
<v Speaker 1>buzz the match. No, I want to see. I want
<v Speaker 1>to see. Well, who's going to be in this match?
<v Speaker 1>Ravishing Rick Rude is going to be in a Punjabi
<v Speaker 1>prison match? See I You know, I feel like he
<v Speaker 1>can make this work. It really all depends on who
<v Speaker 1>he's in the ring with. Ravishing Rick Rude can make
<v Speaker 1>almost anything work. Ravishing Rick Rud against Mark Brisco in
<v Speaker 1>a Punjabi prison. You know what, you're gonna call me
<v Speaker 1>crazy for this. I'm actually gonna give that the bell
<v Speaker 1>because I think that these two could find a way
<v Speaker 1>to make this work and to make this entertaining. I
<v Speaker 1>really do. I'm gonna put my faith in these two.
<v Speaker 1>I think they could pull it off. Am I still
<v Speaker 1>in be the book? Oh? I'm in there somewhere. I'm
<v Speaker 1>still in there. I haven't demoted myself yet. And we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna end with a traditional steel cage match. We go
<v Speaker 1>from the crazy cage to the regular steel cage. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I would say this is a little bit better here
<v Speaker 1>for the ladies, so I feel better about this for them.
<v Speaker 1>But let's see here we go with the women, get
<v Speaker 1>the main event here, which is a rarity here, and
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. We have Gail Kim. You know what,
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna do
<v Speaker 1>something a little bit different. I'm gonna make a deck.
<v Speaker 1>We're shaking things up. We are shaking things up here,
<v Speaker 1>and be the booker for the first time. We're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have ourselves an intergender main event. We have Gail Kim
<v Speaker 1>on one side of this match. This is a steel
<v Speaker 1>cage match mind you. Okay, we're gonna have Gail Kim
<v Speaker 1>in an intergender main event. This is gonna make things
<v Speaker 1>very interesting. Gail Kim against William Regal in a steel
<v Speaker 1>cage match. How do you like that? The tag team
<v Speaker 1>image ruined it from being a clean sweep. But Gail
<v Speaker 1>Kim and William Regal two great professional wrestlers. You put
<v Speaker 1>them in a cage, and you know what, I think
<v Speaker 1>they'd have a pretty damn good match. Everyone's saying, Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>you imagine if I actually landed on him, how do
<v Speaker 1>you like that? You never know what You're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>here and be the book. Oh, we're gonna be shaking
<v Speaker 1>things up a little bit more too, once I actually
<v Speaker 1>gets all the updates I want to do. I just
<v Speaker 1>haven't had time lately with all the work I've had
<v Speaker 1>to do. But we're gonna be updating this. I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>be revamping it. But yeah, every now and then, you might, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, you might get some intergender I mean, WWE
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have the balls to do it, but you might
<v Speaker 1>get an intergender match or two. You never know. Horrifying
<v Speaker 1>dried chicken with flavor it does, Regal does regal have
<v Speaker 1>the brass nuts. It's a steel cage match, so if
<v Speaker 1>he's got them tucked away in his tights, it's totally legal.
<v Speaker 1>So sure. Dried Chicken says delete one horror movie, Scream
<v Speaker 1>a nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play or the Thing
<v Speaker 1>a Nightmare on Elm Street. I just I wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>big Freddie guy. I like all I like all the
<v Speaker 1>other ones. Though. Cameron Spencer before Undertaker retired, I wanted
<v Speaker 1>to see him face Rick Flair and a wrestle Mania
<v Speaker 1>retirement match with Vince as the referee. Would you have
<v Speaker 1>been down for that? No, thank you, Cameron. Chicken without
<v Speaker 1>flavor says Maurice. Against ash By Elegance, loser has to
<v Speaker 1>pose for pictures with Art the clown. Yeah. I should
<v Speaker 1>point out that in that one it was Dana Brook
<v Speaker 1>and not ash By Elegance, if that matters. Jeremy Rose says,
<v Speaker 1>name you're Mount Rushmore of heels. I don't have a
<v Speaker 1>Mount Rushmore of heels, but I could tell you that
<v Speaker 1>some of the people that would be on like a
<v Speaker 1>top shortlist for me. For me, Vince McMahon is the
<v Speaker 1>greatest in many real life. I think mirror's fiction in
<v Speaker 1>many ways. But the greatest wrestling heel of all time
<v Speaker 1>is Vince McMahon. Mister McMahon, So he would have to
<v Speaker 1>be on there, yeah, to do it in like a
<v Speaker 1>Mount Rushmore like it's tough, but Vince Vince would be
<v Speaker 1>number one. And then I mean when you look at
<v Speaker 1>you know, top heels. I mean again, I grew up
<v Speaker 1>on guys like dB Yasi who would buy people off
<v Speaker 1>and kick basketballs away from little kids when he promised
<v Speaker 1>to pay them money and you know, they fifteen times
<v Speaker 1>and then kick it away at fourteen, like what a dick?
<v Speaker 1>You know. Jake Roberts is a heel, one of the
<v Speaker 1>greatest heels I've ever seen, as over as he was
<v Speaker 1>as a babyface like evil heel. Jake from like nineteen
<v Speaker 1>ninety one into ninety two is right there at the
<v Speaker 1>top of the list, you know, not for nothing. Triple
<v Speaker 1>H was a great heel too. I'm not even talking
<v Speaker 1>about the Reign of Terror. I'm talking about when he
<v Speaker 1>was like still in his physical prime, like two thousand,
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and one. I'm not saying he'd be on
<v Speaker 1>my Mount Rushmore necessarily, but he was a damn good heel,
<v Speaker 1>you know during that period. Yeah, modern day you think
<v Speaker 1>modern day wrestling, MJF pretty damn high up on that list.
<v Speaker 1>Man Rick Flair, of course, Suit Jericho, that's uh or
<v Speaker 1>as I call it, No Country for old Men, Jericho,
<v Speaker 1>Anton Sugar, Jericho, death Side. I hope CM Punk at
<v Speaker 1>AJ styles at the first two entrants and the final
<v Speaker 1>two in the Royal Rumble because it feels like the
<v Speaker 1>only way we're getting any kind of singles match between
<v Speaker 1>them at this point. You know, that actually would not
<v Speaker 1>be a bad final two. Let's say Punk is going
<v Speaker 1>to win the Rumble, you have AJ with him at
<v Speaker 1>the very end, and given that he has announced that
<v Speaker 1>he's going to be retiring, you could have people buy
<v Speaker 1>into the idea that, oh my god, maybe AJ is
<v Speaker 1>going to win the Rumble, you know, and he'll get
<v Speaker 1>one last like championship opportunity at WrestleMania. Like people I
<v Speaker 1>think would buy into that. Dry Chickens says Gail Kim
<v Speaker 1>against William Regal with the Jeepers Creeper as the special
<v Speaker 1>guest referee. Good to see he's in the Halloween Spirit
<v Speaker 1>Spirit Halloween Tactical Butt Cheek ninety three, Still one of
<v Speaker 1>the best names calling it now seeing his next opponent
<v Speaker 1>is getting a stunner rock Bottom and or tombstone pile driver.
<v Speaker 1>He already had an opponent tonight that got a tombstone
<v Speaker 1>pile driver. He literally gave aj a tombstone pile driver.
<v Speaker 1>Solo monster is the goat, Yeah, but the thing is
<v Speaker 1>like a rock Bottom. Yes, a stunner. I don't see
<v Speaker 1>a stunner because he never wrestled Austin. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>he's pretty much keeping it to guys that he's worked
<v Speaker 1>with before, so it wouldn't be a stunt. He has
<v Speaker 1>taken a stunner, though, he took a stunner once on
<v Speaker 1>one of those Tribute to the Troop shows. Actually it
<v Speaker 1>might have been in two thousand and three. It might
<v Speaker 1>have been Actually right at the beginning part of his career.
<v Speaker 1>I want to say two thousand and three is when
<v Speaker 1>they started doing them. Well, thank you guys for hanging
<v Speaker 1>out with me here a little bit later than I
<v Speaker 1>wanted to go. I was hoping to go earlier, but
<v Speaker 1>the day got away from me. So I said, all right,
<v Speaker 1>we'll go. We'll go in primetime. It's all good. The
<v Speaker 1>next time I am live with you and Retro and Michael.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to get to your chats here in a moment,
<v Speaker 1>but the next time I'm live with you, I am
<v Speaker 1>shooting to go live tomorrow night after Bound for Glory.
<v Speaker 1>I was live after Slammiversary. I would like to be
<v Speaker 1>live after Bound for Glory. It is their biggest show
<v Speaker 1>of the year. They have Mike Santana going for the
<v Speaker 1>TNA World Championship in the main event. I could see
<v Speaker 1>him getting an assist from Ricky Saints, not that I
<v Speaker 1>think he should need an assist from the NXT champion,
<v Speaker 1>but the NXT champion had Trick Williams bail on him
<v Speaker 1>during the Invasion Special on Tuesday. I could see Ricky
<v Speaker 1>getting some revenge on Trick by coming out and he
<v Speaker 1>could distract him. He could prevent Trick from cheating. It
<v Speaker 1>could be anything either way. I think we're getting a
<v Speaker 1>new TNA World Champion. We got the Hardy's and the
<v Speaker 1>Dudley's one final table winner take All match. Hardy's by
<v Speaker 1>the way, the new Hog Tag Team champions. Kalanie Jordan
<v Speaker 1>I believe is defending her Knockouts Championship against Indy Hartwell,
<v Speaker 1>you've got Leon Slater defending the X Division Championship against
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans and a bunch of other matches. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>aiming to do that, but of course I have a
<v Speaker 1>podcast to do tomorrow first, So that's episode nine thirty
<v Speaker 1>three of the SoundOff. Hey, Havelily, look at this. Haaveli,
<v Speaker 1>twenty eight months of channel membership, says, what up, Sola
<v Speaker 1>Monster shout out from Brisbane, Australia. How are you doing today? Thought? Thought?
<v Speaker 1>On the rumor Wargames teams, you are the goat, Javeli,
<v Speaker 1>I were you at the show? I know Brisbane's see,
<v Speaker 1>Australia is a gigantic country, so I don't know offhand
<v Speaker 1>how far Brisbane is from Perth, but I'm assuming it's
<v Speaker 1>many hours away. So I don't know if you were
<v Speaker 1>at the show, Javili. I'm going to assume you were not.
<v Speaker 1>I'm doing well. I'm a little tired, but I hope
<v Speaker 1>you were doing very well as far as the wargames stop.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get into that on the sound off tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>So tune into the podcast and we'll address all the
<v Speaker 1>rumors for mister Meltzer. This week he dropped some news
<v Speaker 1>and we'll talk about the rumored lineups for wargames and
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of other things. Michael Jensen with forty nine
<v Speaker 1>months of channel membership that Oscar super Chat has hilariously
<v Speaker 1>scared the crap out of with me repeatedly since its arrival.
<v Speaker 1>Oh good, so I'm not the only one then, that's
<v Speaker 1>good to know. And Retrokoh with a member Chat thirty
<v Speaker 1>one months, Happy belated birthday. How was the Hog Show?
<v Speaker 1>I heard the Hardys won their third set of belts
<v Speaker 1>on the show, well technically fourth, they have those fourth
<v Speaker 1>rope belts from the other promotion. It was a wild
<v Speaker 1>show again. I'll talk briefly about it tomorrow as well.
<v Speaker 1>It was our ended up being our biggest show of
<v Speaker 1>the year in many ways, and there were a lot
<v Speaker 1>of wild things that happened last night. And if you
<v Speaker 1>didn't see it, the replay is up on Triller, so
<v Speaker 1>you can check it out there. With all my esteemed commentary,
<v Speaker 1>it's always the best part. Let's be honest, hey, Doctor Scorpio,
<v Speaker 1>When did Hologram joined the Kallis family? That would be
<v Speaker 1>el Clone, So you got to get it right. It's
<v Speaker 1>el Clone. Julian with a twenty dollars super Chat. Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>against Bianca is a WrestleMania caliber match, but ken wwe
<v Speaker 1>hold off on it that long given the lack of
<v Speaker 1>challengers for Tiffany. I mean, as long as Bianca has
<v Speaker 1>been out for are we even going to have her
<v Speaker 1>back in time for WrestleMania. I think that's the better question.
<v Speaker 1>She broke some fingers. She's been out since April, it's
<v Speaker 1>now October. I don't know. I don't know when she's
<v Speaker 1>coming back. Rumble maybe, or does she make it back
<v Speaker 1>in time for a women's Wargames match at Survivor Series.
<v Speaker 1>Doctor Scorpio, Oh lord, don't tell me. Tony Kahan taking
<v Speaker 1>a page from Undertaker against Undertaker in ninety four with Hologrand,
<v Speaker 1>that's the whole point of the character. Though. El Clone
<v Speaker 1>is supposed to be the evil Lucha twin. Basically, you
<v Speaker 1>know he was going to come in. He was going
<v Speaker 1>to cost Holograham his thirty four and oh undefeated streak,
<v Speaker 1>and they were gonna probably have a match at Wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Dream And now that's all out the window because Holograham
<v Speaker 1>suffered a serious knee injury and now l Clone debuted
<v Speaker 1>is one of the twenty nine members of the don
<v Speaker 1>Kallis family, and he will he will just fade into
<v Speaker 1>the background. But I said, you know, let him amass
<v Speaker 1>his own thirty four and oh record that nobody will
<v Speaker 1>give a shit about. And when Holograham comes back, then
<v Speaker 1>you can match him up. I've already put more thought
<v Speaker 1>into this though than I should have. Look of all
<v Speaker 1>the things to put thought into, that's that's not really
<v Speaker 1>one of them that I'm too concerned about anyway. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you guys for all the support tonight. We got episode
<v Speaker 1>nine thirty three tomorrow and potential Bound for Glory review.
<v Speaker 1>And I will keep you abreast. I love that word.
<v Speaker 1>I will keep you abreast of my raw plans for
<v Speaker 1>streaming on Monday. Be well, stay safe, and I will
<v Speaker 1>see you back here real soon for more SoundOff live
<v Speaker 1>here on YouTube. Hit that like button on your way out,
<v Speaker 1>and I will see you next time for more SoundOff.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, take care, guys,
