<v Speaker 1>Jay, Katie, and Josh six one hundred. So today is
<v Speaker 1>National Face Your Fears Day. It is celebrated on the
<v Speaker 1>second Tuesday of October every single year. So today's your
<v Speaker 1>day face your fears. And one of the fears that
<v Speaker 1>Katie has apparently is waxing.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I can't and I didn't even know. I just
<v Speaker 2>developed that this week.
<v Speaker 1>So backstory, Katie is going to Chicago this weekend to
<v Speaker 1>meet with a dude that she's smitten over.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we've known each other a long time.
<v Speaker 1>Time and she's in a twenty two month dry spell. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>anders crossed.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm really doing something wrong.
<v Speaker 3>If I come back and that streak still stands, I
<v Speaker 3>just want you to know I'm not doing it right.
<v Speaker 1>So I guess this is not out of the ordinary,
<v Speaker 1>but you are preparing yourself. Yeah, these things were to
<v Speaker 1>get a little spicy.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, doing all the things, and anybody who's you know,
<v Speaker 3>I think guys and women we can all relate to this.
<v Speaker 3>There's just things that you get you know, up to
<v Speaker 3>speed if you will, or you know, you make sure
<v Speaker 3>that they are.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they've been on your a game.
<v Speaker 3>You have been dieting, I've been you know, working out
<v Speaker 3>a lot and trying to eat better. It's just like
<v Speaker 3>I've been doing a lot of things. I'm getting a
<v Speaker 3>manicure and a pedicure today. I bought pajamas. I didn't
<v Speaker 3>tell you.
<v Speaker 2>That part because I sleep in basketball shorts and a
<v Speaker 2>T shirt. And I'm like, I don't think I should
<v Speaker 2>do that.
<v Speaker 1>What are you pass?
<v Speaker 2>So I bought girl pajamas. It's an actual like like silk. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>they're like girly, like I look like a girl that too.
<v Speaker 1>That's good.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, the waxing thing.
<v Speaker 3>So I was trying to like think a few steps ahead,
<v Speaker 3>and I was like, I should go get wax.
<v Speaker 2>I've never done that before.
<v Speaker 3>So I just figured it's book and appointment, show up,
<v Speaker 3>you're done, You're good to go. And we were talking
<v Speaker 3>about it yesterday and then multiple people messaged me and
<v Speaker 3>reached out to me to say, Katie, if this is
<v Speaker 3>your first time waxing, you probably don't want to do
<v Speaker 3>that right before you go see a person like that
<v Speaker 3>because you could like have adverse reactions.
<v Speaker 2>You could break out into a rash.
<v Speaker 3>The stuff that they use couldn't set with your skin right, Like,
<v Speaker 3>there's so many things that could happen and you don't
<v Speaker 3>want a.
<v Speaker 2>Chance, so exactly.
<v Speaker 3>So I was like, well, scratch, that canceled the waxing appointment.
<v Speaker 3>There's like I started to get anxiety about my waxing appointment,
<v Speaker 3>and I just don't need that enough anxiety going into
<v Speaker 3>grabbing yourself like yeah, like I don't need to add
<v Speaker 3>one more pla.
<v Speaker 2>There, yes to the anxiety dip, Like we don't need
<v Speaker 2>to do today.
<v Speaker 1>Go do it.
<v Speaker 4>I am facing a lot of fears already, worry about
<v Speaker 4>using the bathroom, meace again. I'm gonna be spending time
<v Speaker 4>with this guy, a lot of time, multiple It's like
<v Speaker 4>three full days.
<v Speaker 2>I get there.
<v Speaker 3>Friday morning, I spend the night Saturday, I spend Friday,
<v Speaker 3>I spend the night Saturday.
<v Speaker 2>I am there until Sunday night. Like I don't mind.
<v Speaker 1>You're going to have to go poo poopy because.
<v Speaker 3>My flight doesn't leave until nine at night on Sunday.
<v Speaker 3>So it's like I'm gonna be there with him for
<v Speaker 3>almost three full days.
<v Speaker 1>I was thinking about you last night as I was
<v Speaker 1>watching Love Is Blind, which is what I do know,
<v Speaker 1>because you know, I've completely lost my man card. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I was actually my upper lip and I had cooling
<v Speaker 1>patches under my eyes, and I had cumber slices and
<v Speaker 1>it was a whole thing. But anyway, I was watching
<v Speaker 1>Love Is Blind and I was thinking about you because
<v Speaker 1>they're at the point where they're at these this hotel
<v Speaker 1>in Mexico and they're all shacking up for the first time,
<v Speaker 1>so the first time there's just been at nights together.
<v Speaker 1>It's for a whole week. And I'm watching this and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, why, how uncomfortable is it if you gotta
<v Speaker 1>go poo poo, you gotta make a stinky, you know,
<v Speaker 1>And you're that's a very intimate thing, a very personal thing,
<v Speaker 1>and you're in there with strangers, and you got stranger dangers.
<v Speaker 3>And it's funny because they're along the same lines of
<v Speaker 3>me in the sunset. They have really like fast tracked
<v Speaker 3>the portion of getting to know the other person on
<v Speaker 3>that show, so like they have done nothing but like
<v Speaker 3>I guess, you know, spit their vomit about their.
<v Speaker 2>Lives, about each other for the last couple of.
<v Speaker 3>Weeks, and so like they know so much about each other,
<v Speaker 3>but this is something they haven't done. And that's kind
<v Speaker 3>of my relationship with this guy is we've known each
<v Speaker 3>other for four years. We've told each other things that
<v Speaker 3>I haven't told other people, Like this man knows things
<v Speaker 3>about me that other people don't know. But I am
<v Speaker 3>afraid to spend three days with him because you know,
<v Speaker 3>he's in an apartment one bedroom, I believe, one bathroom,
<v Speaker 3>one bedroom, so I have a few options. I want
<v Speaker 3>to give a shout out to my friend Leah who
<v Speaker 3>texted me and said, Pooperri like, I forgot all about
<v Speaker 3>those little spray king and it's like really pungent like
<v Speaker 3>that masks the smell, like.
<v Speaker 2>The smell a lot of it. So I'm thinking, no,
<v Speaker 2>you probably.
<v Speaker 1>Want to dump the bottle. I feel like if you
<v Speaker 1>do that, usually it's a little spray pump with one
<v Speaker 1>finger like this like this, But I think you need
<v Speaker 1>a wind X bottle. It's got to be like a
<v Speaker 1>trigger trigger about eighty eighty squirts in that toilet versus
<v Speaker 1>the two or three of that you're supper.
<v Speaker 2>I've got the gallon bucket in the bathroom with me.
<v Speaker 1>Just a hunch, just a hunch. I've known you for
<v Speaker 1>a long time, I know your diet habits, so just
<v Speaker 1>a hunch, okay.
<v Speaker 5>And you told us what you're gonna be eating there,
<v Speaker 5>and that is.
<v Speaker 1>That you're excited Chicago. Listen, we gotta get to a break.
<v Speaker 1>We can continue with this if you want. If not,
<v Speaker 1>we do have a show. Wants to know. But if
<v Speaker 1>any ladies want to sound off, give Katie advice on
<v Speaker 1>how she should prepare to hang with this guy over
<v Speaker 1>the weekend. If you have advice when it comes to
<v Speaker 1>potty time, Yeah, this is real life. This is out
<v Speaker 1>in the dating world here, this is even out. Things
<v Speaker 1>to think about.
<v Speaker 2>Outside of the potty world. Stuff like if you.
<v Speaker 3>Are thinking of anything that I have not thought of,
<v Speaker 3>if I need to anticipate something, going to hang.
<v Speaker 2>Out with the guy for three days, you know what
<v Speaker 2>I mean? Like, any advice is welcome right now.
<v Speaker 1>Katie's love life has been top of mind for many
<v Speaker 1>many many of our females listeners, Yeah, who are kind
<v Speaker 1>of in the same boat. So I have no problem
<v Speaker 1>opening up the phone lines right now. Three oh three
<v Speaker 1>six nine one one mix three oh three six nine
<v Speaker 1>one sixteen forty nine. If you'd like to sound off,
<v Speaker 1>we'll take some calls. We would love to chat with you.
<v Speaker 1>If not, we'll move on to something else. I'm fine
<v Speaker 1>with that. But I just love thinking about Katie struggling
<v Speaker 1>to go poo poo. Everybody's for me, I'm rooting for
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what I'm rooting for. What are you
<v Speaker 1>rooting for, Jeremy, I'm kind of rooting for three days
<v Speaker 1>of mass constipation.
<v Speaker 3>You know, I have to spend Monday with you, Like
<v Speaker 3>I come back Monday, I'm hanging out with you five hours.
<v Speaker 3>I come back at eleven thirty at night, and I'm back.
<v Speaker 3>You'll be at home any Yeah, but who knows. I
<v Speaker 3>may just save it just for you.
<v Speaker 1>Here's Tarah. Hi, Tara, welcome to the show. Good morning,
<v Speaker 1>Good morning to you. So do you have advice for Katie?
<v Speaker 5>I have two things for advice.
<v Speaker 3>Number two, all right, flush right away, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
<v Speaker 1>flush right away. Yeah, But then she's gonna have multiple flesh.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 2>That was my cat.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's unsettling. If he's in the next room and
<v Speaker 1>she's got she's going through.
<v Speaker 2>Four flushes, what's happening.
<v Speaker 1>All of a sudden. I'm not in the mood for
<v Speaker 1>sexy time anymore.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was the thing about the multiple flushes. But
<v Speaker 2>you know, outside of that.
<v Speaker 5>Well, this is like, well once and then light a
<v Speaker 5>match after.
<v Speaker 1>There's timing too with that flush like you gotta never mind,
<v Speaker 1>I don't right after it, you got it. There's gotta
<v Speaker 1>be timing. Is like even before it lets loose, you
<v Speaker 1>gotta flush and then it's like down and okay anyway,
<v Speaker 1>and then matches. There's there's logistics to that, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>There is I don't want to urt anybody's house down here.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what if she sets off the fire alarm.
<v Speaker 2>And she knows how to light a match. I know
<v Speaker 2>I've done that before.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, that's not rocket science, but yeah, no, there's
<v Speaker 3>just it's so like I'm so nervous about all of it,
<v Speaker 3>more so this than anything.
<v Speaker 2>Like this man think about it. I know he's not
<v Speaker 2>thinking about this at all. You know he's not, But
<v Speaker 2>this is top of mind for me.
<v Speaker 1>When was the last time you had to deal with this, Tara?
<v Speaker 3>Oh gosh, A long time ago?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, like Katie, But.
<v Speaker 3>That's something we can all relate and something that probably
<v Speaker 3>never changes in humanity.
<v Speaker 2>Is right as we're embarrassed to do this in front
<v Speaker 2>of each other.
<v Speaker 1>It is funny. That is so embarrassing, but it's so
<v Speaker 1>natural and we all to do it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Just just do it. Like I'm actually so far into
<v Speaker 1>my relationship with Nicole, it's like, I don't know. I'll
<v Speaker 1>tell you about my story this weekend. I have to
<v Speaker 1>well on Thursday night, I have to start prepping for
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to be out on Friday, Tara. So like,
<v Speaker 1>you have to be incredibly comfortable with your partner to
<v Speaker 1>do colonoscopy prop. As a matter of fact, the last
<v Speaker 1>time I had to do this, I actually went in
<v Speaker 1>my pants by mistake.
<v Speaker 2>So and they still make fun of him, Tara.
<v Speaker 1>They Doay, I did it in front of my wife
<v Speaker 1>and children, Tara, And there was no poop poopery, there
<v Speaker 1>was no matches, there was nothing nothing. I just trusted
<v Speaker 1>a toot a little too much in.
<v Speaker 2>Tara.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for conin, Thank you for calling in this morning.
<v Speaker 1>We appreciate you. All right, thank you, bye bye. Thanks
<v Speaker 1>multiple messages coming into that. You just do it right
<v Speaker 1>before you shower. Yeah, so just knock it out, knock
<v Speaker 1>the bottom out, and get in the shower.
<v Speaker 2>No, exactly like that.
<v Speaker 3>That's probably the best advice as far as just like,
<v Speaker 3>if I don't want to bring anything, if I don't
<v Speaker 3>like bring something to prepare. I like the poopore nod
<v Speaker 3>because that, to me is a little canister.
<v Speaker 2>I can sneak that in. That's not going to be
<v Speaker 2>an issue, you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 3>So that's the I think there's some really good advice here,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm feeling better about it because I was really nervous.
<v Speaker 5>It's an apartment, like it's a it's a very you know,
<v Speaker 5>small ash space, usually the bathrooms near the bedroom. And
<v Speaker 5>it's like if you're you know, if it's a loud one,
<v Speaker 5>that's not what you want and you don't want to
<v Speaker 5>be bringing attention to yourself like that.
<v Speaker 2>And if I'm going to beat Mfungo for the first time,
<v Speaker 2>I just don't know
<v Speaker 1>Fungo
