<v Speaker 1>There were over ten thousand fans in the building tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Raw was in Sacramento. Hey, ten thousands a pretty good crowd.
<v Speaker 1>You know what they had in that building back at
<v Speaker 1>April over fourteen thousand. In case you were wondering, have
<v Speaker 1>we fallen off the peak? The answer is yes, we
<v Speaker 1>have fallen off the peak. Still doing very well, but
<v Speaker 1>they have fallen off the peak. But tonight was all
<v Speaker 1>about the World Heavyweight Championship. We all saw what happened
<v Speaker 1>on the show last week, a major show closing angle.
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins excommunicated from the vision, bron Breaker attacking bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker and Bronson Reid standing united with Paul Hayman. What
<v Speaker 1>would be the update on Seth Rollins?
<v Speaker 2>Is he hurt?
<v Speaker 1>How badly has he heard? Are they going to strip
<v Speaker 1>him of the World Heavyweight Championship. The only thing we
<v Speaker 1>knew coming into this show is that Adam Pierce would
<v Speaker 1>be making an announcement as it relates to the title,
<v Speaker 1>and he did, and that announcement was that Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>is hereby stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship and tonight
<v Speaker 1>there would be a battle royal because CM punk was
<v Speaker 1>already crowned number one contender last week. You can't screw
<v Speaker 1>him out of the shot that he earned. So he
<v Speaker 1>needs an opponent. How do you decide on an opponent?
<v Speaker 1>They decided that we're going to have a Battle Royal
<v Speaker 1>and the winner of that Battle Royal would go on
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Punk for the title in Salt Lake City
<v Speaker 1>November one on Saturday Night's main event. So we had
<v Speaker 1>this Battle Royal here on this show. Two men who
<v Speaker 1>were not in the Battle Royal, even though they were
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be bron Breaker and Bronzon Reid.
<v Speaker 2>They were in the graphic when they put.
<v Speaker 1>The initial graphic up for the Battle Royal earlier in
<v Speaker 1>the show.
<v Speaker 2>They were part of it.
<v Speaker 1>And then they weren't because Adam Pierce made an executive
<v Speaker 1>decision midway through the show and he let Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>know that his two men would not be in this
<v Speaker 1>Battle Royal. And I must say, even though I am
<v Speaker 1>a big proponent for strapping the rocket to bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>and using this as an opportunity to just launch him,
<v Speaker 1>launch him into that top spot, if it were me,
<v Speaker 1>I would put the championship on him. But as somebody
<v Speaker 1>who oftentimes will talk about this doesn't make sense. That
<v Speaker 1>doesn't make sense right, And I try as hard as
<v Speaker 1>I can to my own detriment a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>time to apply logic in an illogical world. I can
<v Speaker 1>appreciate the fact that they had Adam Pierce say, look,
<v Speaker 1>these men are responsible from my world champion being on
<v Speaker 1>the shelf for the next several months. These men are
<v Speaker 1>responsible for the fact that we no longer have a
<v Speaker 1>world heavyweight champion. We had to vacate the championship because
<v Speaker 1>of these two men. And so instead of rewarding them,
<v Speaker 1>what did he do? He bounced them out of the
<v Speaker 1>Battle Royal. That makes sense. It's a sensible decision that
<v Speaker 1>he made. I can't be mad at that. You can't
<v Speaker 1>reward bad behavior. All that being said, they went with
<v Speaker 1>the most boring choice to win the Battle Royal. Jay
<v Speaker 1>Usso is going to Saturday Night's main event to wrestle
<v Speaker 1>cm Punk, which means c I'm punk, or jay Usso
<v Speaker 1>is going to leave Salt Lake City maybe as the
<v Speaker 1>next world heavyweight champion.
<v Speaker 2>They went with jay Usso.
<v Speaker 1>And the Battle Royal. By the way, I actually enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>as Battle Royals go. I enjoyed it until we got
<v Speaker 1>to that finish. Now, I will say the storytelling was good.
<v Speaker 1>They've been telling this story now for weeks. Jimmy and
<v Speaker 1>Jay not quite on the same page. Jimmy being very
<v Speaker 1>upset with the way that Jay has been behaving. He is,
<v Speaker 1>you know, really looking towards Roman Reigns a little too
<v Speaker 1>much in his view, and trying to emulate him a
<v Speaker 1>little too much. Jimmy doesn't like that very much. And
<v Speaker 1>so as they play this story out, what they did
<v Speaker 1>tonight was logical, you know, and they set things up
<v Speaker 1>throughout the show. We had a backstage second at one
<v Speaker 1>point with the two of them, and Jimmy said, look,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to be in the Battle Royal. You're going
<v Speaker 1>to be in the Battle Royal. You know, I'm going
<v Speaker 1>after everybody, he said. He kind of put the nail
<v Speaker 1>in his own coffin when he made that comment, because
<v Speaker 1>in the end, it was Jay usso, despite the fact
<v Speaker 1>that his brother saved him multiple times in his Battle Royal,
<v Speaker 1>who helped eliminate his brother and showed absolutely no regret
<v Speaker 1>for what he did right, and Jimmy was very upset
<v Speaker 1>about this when the match was over, even though it's
<v Speaker 1>every man for himself and it was Jimmy Usso himself
<v Speaker 1>earlier in the show who told his brother, I'm coming
<v Speaker 1>after everybody, including you. So you know what, Big Jim
<v Speaker 1>too bad. He's got nothing to complain about here, but
<v Speaker 1>he was being a sour puss at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the show and he wasn't very happy that his brother,
<v Speaker 1>you know, did what he did. So the storytelling is
<v Speaker 1>on point. I don't have an issue with that, but man,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, all the options they could have gone with,
<v Speaker 1>to me, they went with the least excited and least
<v Speaker 1>interesting of them all. I don't really have any interest
<v Speaker 1>in seeing CM Punk and Andre j Usso for the
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship or not, or in just a straight
<v Speaker 1>up singles match, not for any championship at all, because
<v Speaker 1>of all the choices they had to go with.
<v Speaker 2>The USOS is just very deflating.
<v Speaker 1>And the thing that I look at when I see
<v Speaker 1>who was in this battle Royal, the name that stands
<v Speaker 1>out to me. I'm not even gonna say La Knight.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of La Knight fans who are going to
<v Speaker 1>be very upset. Uh La Night jobbed out again. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know why you torture yourself so much. He ain't
<v Speaker 1>gonna be the guy. They just don't see him that way.
<v Speaker 1>So this is going to continue to happen. I wasn't
<v Speaker 1>surprised that he wasn't in there at the end, but
<v Speaker 1>I saw that Aj Styles was in that Battle Royal,
<v Speaker 1>and I didn't realistically think it was going to be
<v Speaker 1>aj because he just won the tag team titles tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and so is he really going.
<v Speaker 2>To win the Battle Royal as well? Probably not, but you.
<v Speaker 1>Had Aj Styles in there, and it's been an Aj
<v Speaker 1>Styles love fest for the last few weeks. Coming out
<v Speaker 1>of that match at Crown Jewel with John sena the
<v Speaker 1>great fucking match of the two of them had in
<v Speaker 1>aj and making it very clear that his career will
<v Speaker 1>also come to an end very soon in twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>He may not even last the full year. We don't
<v Speaker 1>know when he's done next year. His contract may be
<v Speaker 1>done in February, although I'm sure he will not be
<v Speaker 1>done in February. He may be done at WrestleMania. We
<v Speaker 1>don't know. But he was just in Japan, his last
<v Speaker 1>Japanese tour. They had Aj Styles the roster did on
<v Speaker 1>their shoulders parading him around, and it was you know,
<v Speaker 1>It was great to see them pay that level of
<v Speaker 1>respect to him, especially given the success that he had
<v Speaker 1>in Japan. But you're gonna see more of this as
<v Speaker 1>the months go on. And one of the matches that
<v Speaker 1>I know a lot of people, because people have asked
<v Speaker 1>me about it in like the mailbag and tweets, I
<v Speaker 1>hear about, Wow, they're ever gonna do CM Punk against aj.
<v Speaker 2>Styles one on one? Are we ever gonna get it?
<v Speaker 1>And it kind of feels like it's now or never,
<v Speaker 1>because I don't know if that's in the cards for
<v Speaker 1>next year. You would think at some point next year,
<v Speaker 1>if at least they would do the match. It doesn't
<v Speaker 1>look like they're going to have too many more opportunities
<v Speaker 1>to get it done. If they're going to do it,
<v Speaker 1>And you had an opportunity here to put together not
<v Speaker 1>just the match for the World Heavyweight Championship in two weeks,
<v Speaker 1>but a match that a lot of people would look
<v Speaker 1>at as a dream match. I even throwing that word around,
<v Speaker 1>but that's how some people would describe it, right. It's
<v Speaker 1>a match that they really want to see, and maybe
<v Speaker 1>they thought at one point it was never gonna happen,
<v Speaker 1>and now you have a chance of making it happen,
<v Speaker 1>and you know that AJ's career is winding down, right,
<v Speaker 1>It's a match we haven't seen before in WWE two
<v Speaker 1>fan favor It's just like we're gonna get now at
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk and Jay Uso. So the dynamic is really
<v Speaker 1>no different. Two babyfaces in there, Punk and AJ for
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship. It rights itself, right, If you're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna have bron Breaker in there, that's the match
<v Speaker 1>that they should have done, and they didn't do it.
<v Speaker 1>I really think that was a missed opportunity to do
<v Speaker 1>something special and something a little bit different, you know,
<v Speaker 1>instead of doing all right, Punk and Usos or even
<v Speaker 1>Punk in La Night. You know, we've seen so many
<v Speaker 1>variations of this, you know, in the last few months.
<v Speaker 1>It's just exhausting. But I am not fully convinced that
<v Speaker 1>we are going to get a new World heavyweight champion
<v Speaker 1>crowned anyway at Saturday Night's main event, because you have
<v Speaker 1>to expect a bron Breaker and Bronson reader not gonna
<v Speaker 1>let sleeping dogs lie. They're not gonna let this match
<v Speaker 1>go on without there being some sort of interference or
<v Speaker 1>some something is going to happen.
<v Speaker 2>Now, maybe it happens next week because we have.
<v Speaker 1>One more raw, I believe, one more before Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 1>main event, and so maybe next week, you know, they
<v Speaker 1>go around causing chaos and wrecking shop and who knows,
<v Speaker 1>you know, they could hold the show hostage until Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce agrees to put bron Breaker in the match and
<v Speaker 1>they make it a triple threat match. I'd see them
<v Speaker 1>punk on commentary tonight joking about that, saying I hate
<v Speaker 1>triple threat matches, hate them. Who knows, maybe they turned
<v Speaker 1>it into a triple threat. Maybe bron Breaker ends up
<v Speaker 1>getting added anyway, even though it would go against everything
<v Speaker 1>that Adam Pierce talked about tonight when he did not
<v Speaker 1>put them in the Battle Royal to begin with. But
<v Speaker 1>I look ahead and I say, if that doesn't happen,
<v Speaker 1>they show up at Saturday Night's main event, they interfere,
<v Speaker 1>nobody wins. Now, I know that would make for a
<v Speaker 1>pretty disappointing finish to the show. But I look ahead
<v Speaker 1>to Survivor series, you know, which is coming up at
<v Speaker 1>the end of next month, and they're doing these wargames matches.
<v Speaker 1>So that kind of I don't say makes it impossible,
<v Speaker 1>but it kind of makes it impossible. If they didn't
<v Speaker 1>have wargames advertised, this might be a little bit more realistic.
<v Speaker 1>But it's not lost on me that it's almost twenty
<v Speaker 1>years since the Deadly Game Tournament that we had going
<v Speaker 1>into the Survivor Series, another period of time where the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Championship in that case was vacant, the title was
<v Speaker 1>title was actually vacant for a couple of months, and
<v Speaker 1>they put together this big sixteen men was it sixteen
<v Speaker 1>or thirty two? There were so many people involved, and
<v Speaker 1>they did the whole fucking thing in one night. You
<v Speaker 1>can't do that today now with these five match pls,
<v Speaker 1>you can't. But they did the Deadly Game Tournament, and
<v Speaker 1>again it was mostly a bunch of two three minute matches,
<v Speaker 1>but it's a memorable tournament and they crowned the new
<v Speaker 1>world champion that night. And so here we are, almost
<v Speaker 1>twenty years later going into the Survivor Series, and we
<v Speaker 1>have a vacancy with the World Heavyweight Championship, and it's like, man,
<v Speaker 1>you know, if you had the bronze go in there
<v Speaker 1>in two weeks and Rex shop and we have no winner,
<v Speaker 1>they could still do this again. It's maybe less likely
<v Speaker 1>because they have a couple of War Games matches to promote,
<v Speaker 1>plus whatever John Cena is going to be doing, you know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe dom But you don't have to have the entire
<v Speaker 1>tournament of one night, even if it just comes down
<v Speaker 1>to the finals or the finals in the semis. You
<v Speaker 1>could build up a tournament, a real tournament, and have
<v Speaker 1>matches on TV and really just build it up throughout
<v Speaker 1>the month of November and then ultimately crown a new
<v Speaker 1>World heavyweight champion on that show. You know you have
<v Speaker 1>that option. I'm just I'm sitting here and I'm kind
<v Speaker 1>of mulling over, like, are we really just going to
<v Speaker 1>go into the show in two weeks and take the
<v Speaker 1>path of least resistance here, the laziest, most boring route possible,
<v Speaker 1>and just have CM Punk go in there and beat
<v Speaker 1>jay Uso and win the World Heavyweight Championship, Because even
<v Speaker 1>if Punk ultimately wins the belt, that's not the way
<v Speaker 1>I want Cmpunk to win the World Heavyweight Championship By
<v Speaker 1>going in there and beating jay Uso, Like, who cares?
<v Speaker 1>That doesn't inspire me, and I'm willing to bet it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't inspire too many of you either. So I was
<v Speaker 1>thinking of that and like, can you make that work? Yes,
<v Speaker 1>you can, you can, and that would take up you know,
<v Speaker 1>as far as Raw goes. Anyway, there's your month of November,
<v Speaker 1>as far as Monday Night Raw, building up to this
<v Speaker 1>tournament and building up to a new World Heavyweight champion
<v Speaker 1>being crowned. I don't know if that's something that they
<v Speaker 1>would consider. Again, they have a couple of war Games matches,
<v Speaker 1>you know. Look, I talked about this on Friday. We
<v Speaker 1>don't know if the vision, especially now with Rollin's being her,
<v Speaker 1>we don't know if the Vision is going to be
<v Speaker 1>on the heel side of Wargames. I watched that show
<v Speaker 1>on Friday night, and it sure felt like they were
<v Speaker 1>building something with the MFTs and the Wyatt six, possibly
<v Speaker 1>in Wargames, which I think would be terrible. But at
<v Speaker 1>least then if the Vision wasn't involved in that, you
<v Speaker 1>could buy into the fact that, well, maybe they would
<v Speaker 1>be part of a tournament and maybe then instead they're
<v Speaker 1>wrestling for the world championship on that show.
<v Speaker 2>Right, It's doable. It's doable, But I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It just strikes me as we just want to get
<v Speaker 1>this over with as quickly as possible and not really
<v Speaker 1>have fun with it. I understand they were Delta bad card.
<v Speaker 1>They weren't expecting Seth to get hurt. This was not
<v Speaker 1>what they planned for. And they've got to come up
<v Speaker 1>with an idea real quick because it affects television for
<v Speaker 1>the next few months and into next year.
<v Speaker 2>I get all that, right.
<v Speaker 1>It's a hard thing to recalibrate your plans on the
<v Speaker 1>fly like that, But if you're gonna do it, you
<v Speaker 1>have to do it anyway. You know, have fun with it,
<v Speaker 1>make the most of it, and don't just look.
<v Speaker 2>At it as well.
<v Speaker 1>We just got to get we got to get this
<v Speaker 1>over with as quickly as possible and move beyond this
<v Speaker 1>so we could just get back to whatever we were
<v Speaker 1>planning on doing. I wish they would do a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more. As things stand right now, it don't look
<v Speaker 1>like that's what they're gonna be doing, unless again the
<v Speaker 1>Bronze cause a no contest, and maybe they do do
<v Speaker 1>something like that. I would certainly like to see it now.
<v Speaker 1>We also have new tag team champions. Aj Lee are
<v Speaker 1>the new tag I have dubbed the aj Lee are
<v Speaker 1>the new tag team champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
<v Speaker 1>They ended the very uneventful waste of a judgment day
<v Speaker 1>tag team title reign. You know, every single month that
<v Speaker 1>goes by the decision to deunify the tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>last year at WrestleMania looks worse and worse with each
<v Speaker 1>passing month. It looks worse and worse. I mean, it's
<v Speaker 1>just they set it themselves on commentary tonight, like this
<v Speaker 1>was the second title defense that the judgment they had
<v Speaker 1>of those tag team titles. They've had those titles since
<v Speaker 1>what June I think, may or June? I mean, why
<v Speaker 1>do we even have two sets of tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>all in the first place. But hey, aj Styles has gold,
<v Speaker 1>not the goal people would probably like to see him
<v Speaker 1>have before he retires, although there's still time for that.
<v Speaker 1>But we had two other championship matches, both of which
<v Speaker 1>were intercontinental title matches, both of which ended with shenanigans
<v Speaker 1>here on this show, fuckery shenanigans. And then we had
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Vaquier and we had Roxane Perez And I'm a
<v Speaker 1>big fan of both women, two of the best that
<v Speaker 1>they have in the women's division. Stephanie's had an incredible year, right,
<v Speaker 1>won multiple championships, just won the Crown Jewel.
<v Speaker 2>Championship a couple of weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>They had a match tonight that was very unlike them,
<v Speaker 1>as in, it was not very good. It was a
<v Speaker 1>rare miss from these two women. And then they sent
<v Speaker 1>Nicki Bella out there and I'm pretty sure she busted
<v Speaker 1>out of her top. We'll talk about it. This is
<v Speaker 1>your raw on Netflix review. It is Monday night, October twentieth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five. I am the Solid Monster. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for being with me here on another Monday night. I
<v Speaker 1>know you're with me etune every single week. If you're not,
<v Speaker 1>you should be hit that subscribe button, hit that like button.
<v Speaker 1>It does help out. The video super chats are open
<v Speaker 1>and I will be reading your messages here. Whatever you
<v Speaker 1>have to say about this show tonight or where you
<v Speaker 1>think you would like to see them take the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship. And do you want to see Jay Usso
<v Speaker 1>win the title or Cmpunk win the title? Do you
<v Speaker 1>want a tournament? How would you have done it? Let
<v Speaker 1>me know what you think about off.
<v Speaker 2>There's a direction you can fuck or you can tell me.
<v Speaker 1>Off is the direction I can go fuck, And that's
<v Speaker 1>what I'll have to do because you just dropped twenty
<v Speaker 1>two bucks on me, Jeremy Rose, thank you.
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate it.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, there is a couple of new super chats,
<v Speaker 1>but there's a new eighteen dollars one as well with
<v Speaker 1>our old friend.
<v Speaker 2>Russev as a matter of fact, so just be aware
<v Speaker 2>of that.
<v Speaker 1>Let's take it back to the top here because we
<v Speaker 1>had a very important announcement here at the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>this show.
<v Speaker 2>We had Lily and Garcia.
<v Speaker 1>She was filling in tonight for Alicia Taylor, and she
<v Speaker 1>announced the general manager, Adam Pierce, who was already standing
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of the ring, to make an announcement
<v Speaker 1>about the World Heavyweight Championship, and his update was swiftly
<v Speaker 1>interrupted by an SUV that was arriving in the back,
<v Speaker 1>from which bron Breaker, Bronson Reid, and Paul Hayman emerged.
<v Speaker 1>Bron Breaker had the World Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder.
<v Speaker 2>Just looks natural, doesn't it. That title just looks natural
<v Speaker 2>over his shoulder.
<v Speaker 1>So they made their way to the ring, where Pierce
<v Speaker 1>announced that as a result of what they did last week,
<v Speaker 1>seth Rollins just underwent surgery on his shoulder that is
<v Speaker 1>going to keep him out for an extended period of time,
<v Speaker 1>and yes, this is not a work. I know people
<v Speaker 1>were doubting whether or not you know this was legit
<v Speaker 1>or not, and look, I get it, I understand it.
<v Speaker 1>After what happened this summer, you have every right to
<v Speaker 1>feel that way. But pretty short order, this didn't feel
<v Speaker 1>like a work, and it would have been very dumb
<v Speaker 1>to repeat more or less the same angle twice in
<v Speaker 1>what three months? That would have been fucking dumb. And
<v Speaker 1>even CM Punk he was on commentary for the Battle
<v Speaker 1>Royal in the main event and he said, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>you know Seth already, you know fooled me once and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I should buy into this or not,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, Seth Rollins is hurt. I don't know exactly
<v Speaker 1>what the surgery was. There was talk either of a
<v Speaker 1>rotator cuff surgery or some other type of shoulder surgery,
<v Speaker 1>So we don't know exactly what the surgery was yet,
<v Speaker 1>or the extent of the severity of the injury, because
<v Speaker 1>that could have an effect on whether or not he's
<v Speaker 1>back in four months, or whether or not he's back
<v Speaker 1>in seven or eight months. Right, it's a big gap there,
<v Speaker 1>so we don't know if it's something like his rotator cuff,
<v Speaker 1>if it was like a full tear.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned the other day Chad Gable had rotator cuff
<v Speaker 1>surgery in July, and we're heading into November. He's still
<v Speaker 1>not back yet, but he's going to be gone long
<v Speaker 1>enough that there's no way that they could keep that
<v Speaker 1>title on him now. Of course, if Tony Kahn were
<v Speaker 1>running the show, we would have an interim World Heavyweight
<v Speaker 1>champion running around, but that's not how they do things here.
<v Speaker 1>So the World Heavyweight Championship was officially stripped from seth Rawlins,
<v Speaker 1>and he said, we're not going to have to wait
<v Speaker 1>very long though to crown a new world champion, because
<v Speaker 1>we were going to do so in Salt Lake City
<v Speaker 1>at Saturday Night's main event.
<v Speaker 2>And these fans in Sacramento booed this. They did not
<v Speaker 2>like that.
<v Speaker 1>Because they wanted a new world champion tonight. They don't
<v Speaker 1>give a shit about Salt Lake City, so they were
<v Speaker 1>not very happy about that aspect. But he announced that
<v Speaker 1>they would decide see Impunk's opponent in a battle royal
<v Speaker 1>tonight here in Sacramento, and everybody cheered see that. They
<v Speaker 1>liked because at least they were getting a battle royal.
<v Speaker 1>So then bron Breaker was told to hand over the
<v Speaker 1>world title and he balked, he's not interested in this,
<v Speaker 1>and Paul Hayman went in his ear and he tried
<v Speaker 1>to talk some sense into him, and ultimately Breaker goes
<v Speaker 1>over to Adam Pierce, gets up in his face and
<v Speaker 1>says say please. And it takes everything at Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>not to just go off on this guy, but he
<v Speaker 1>asks him respectfully, please hand over the World Heavyweight Championship,
<v Speaker 1>and he does, but he hands it to Paul Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>and Paul Haman then hands the title to Adam Pierce,
<v Speaker 1>and Adam Pierce takes his leave and he exits the
<v Speaker 1>ring unscathed. So then it was promo time with Paul Hayman,
<v Speaker 1>who said that the vision had nothing to do with
<v Speaker 1>seth Rawlins. He didn't betray Roman Reins and see I'm
<v Speaker 1>punk for seth Rawlins. He did what he did at
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania because bron Breaker is the future of WrestleMania. He
<v Speaker 1>pulled what he did because deep in his heart he
<v Speaker 1>always knew that Bronson Reid was better than Roman Rains.
<v Speaker 1>He proved it in Perth, Australia, and there's Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 1>pointing to the future with his one good arm. He says,
<v Speaker 1>Rollins couldn't shoulder the response. Look at this, Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>coming out with sidrow jokes here on this show. He
<v Speaker 1>couldn't shoulder the responsibility of being world ship and leading
<v Speaker 1>the vision into the future. He called him. He says,
<v Speaker 1>he's a bum shoulder bitch. He says, winners write history,
<v Speaker 1>and these are the winners. Seth Rollins was going to
<v Speaker 1>main event wrestle Mannie and no more. That spot was
<v Speaker 1>taken from him by bron Breaker. Breaker and Red conspired
<v Speaker 1>to take that away from Seth Rawlins. They pulled the
<v Speaker 1>trigger and he thanked the crowd for their indulgence. And
<v Speaker 1>by the way, he said, welcome to Monday Night Raw.
<v Speaker 1>So they're going with the idea that this was all
<v Speaker 1>pre planned by not just bron Breaker, but Bronson Reid
<v Speaker 1>as well, even though Reid had a look on his
<v Speaker 1>face last week like he had no idea what was
<v Speaker 1>going on. But that was the story that they were
<v Speaker 1>telling here on this show. As far as stripping Rollins
<v Speaker 1>of the championship, I mean, that's exactly what I expected
<v Speaker 1>them to do. I mean it was either And look,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if Rollins is hurt and he's out right,
<v Speaker 1>it would have to be an injury that wasn't too
<v Speaker 1>bad that if they wanted him to go in there
<v Speaker 1>and drop.
<v Speaker 2>It in a match.
<v Speaker 1>So you just you knew that this was going to
<v Speaker 1>be the end result. And at that point, there's only
<v Speaker 1>two options. You either do a Battle Royal or you
<v Speaker 1>do a tournament. It was gonna have to be one
<v Speaker 1>or the other, and they chose to do the Battle Royal. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I think it would have been cool to do a
<v Speaker 1>one night tournament on Saturday Night's main event. Speaking of ideas,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, how cool would that have been? Right, Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night's main event, probably a two hour show. I would
<v Speaker 1>have most, if not all of the matches that night,
<v Speaker 1>if it were up to me, I would have had
<v Speaker 1>a one night tournament there dedicated to crowning a new
<v Speaker 1>world champion. And again, maybe you can't do all of
<v Speaker 1>the tournament matches there, but you do enough of them
<v Speaker 1>and really turn it into a special event again, maybe
<v Speaker 1>like Deadly Game style, and really make that show special
<v Speaker 1>because now it's all about the world title. Right now,
<v Speaker 1>there's a goal. There's like one of those sonic gems
<v Speaker 1>that you're trying to reach up and grab. There's something
<v Speaker 1>really tangible on the line that makes that show very special.
<v Speaker 1>And instead they opted to do a battle royal here
<v Speaker 1>on this show. So that's what they chose to do.
<v Speaker 1>But I still believe that, you know, and I say,
<v Speaker 1>in the long term, I'm not even thinking that far
<v Speaker 1>into the future. You got a crown bron Breaker Breaker
<v Speaker 1>is the hero and now, and I think he's ready
<v Speaker 1>for that spot. I think now is the time to
<v Speaker 1>run with him. Even if CM Punk wins the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship in two weeks, I don't foresee him having
<v Speaker 1>that title for too long. I think whoever wins the championship, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna just end up transitioning over to bron Breaker regardless.
<v Speaker 1>But that has to be the goal here, like Rollins
<v Speaker 1>has gone for a while. You know, Punk is not
<v Speaker 1>a long term solution jay Usso I have no interest
<v Speaker 1>in seeing him with the world title again.
<v Speaker 2>La Knight. I mean, come on, yeah, they're not putting
<v Speaker 2>anything on him.
<v Speaker 1>Breaker is the guy. You know, whether you do it
<v Speaker 1>in two weeks, you do it in a month. You
<v Speaker 1>do it in two months is the guy that they
<v Speaker 1>recapped Dominic Mysterio beating pent A to retain the Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>title on last week's show, and they also aired footage
<v Speaker 1>from last week of Adam Pearce and AJ Styles messing
<v Speaker 1>around backstage with Dom and telling him, Hey, let Baler
<v Speaker 1>and McDonogh know, that's a great idea, because Dom was complaining,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I'm the only champion ever defending my
<v Speaker 1>titles here, and out of that came the idea that
<v Speaker 1>you know what, You're absolutely right, and I think that
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day should put the World Tag Team titles
<v Speaker 1>on the line against AJ Styles and Dragonly. So they
<v Speaker 1>showed us all of that. Then we come back live
<v Speaker 1>to the Judgment Day clubhouse. So Dom shows up. Baler
<v Speaker 1>and McDonogh are not happy with him after what he
<v Speaker 1>caused last week, and Dom tells him like, I defend
<v Speaker 1>my title almost every week, and I've already beaten both
<v Speaker 1>of your challengers tonight, right, So there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>discord right now between these members of the Judgment Day
<v Speaker 1>and that led into our our first of three championship
<v Speaker 1>matches on the show, which was for the World Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team titles AJ Styles and Dragon Lee AJ Lee defending
<v Speaker 1>were a challenging rather Finn Balor and JD McDonough for
<v Speaker 1>the World Tag Team titles. This was the first time
<v Speaker 1>that these titles have been defended at all since July
<v Speaker 1>twenty eighth. July twenty eighth, that was before SummerSlam. We're
<v Speaker 1>heading into Survivor series and it was only the second
<v Speaker 1>defense of their entire reign as champions so far. Hell
<v Speaker 1>of a tag team division you got there. It's also
<v Speaker 1>one of the casualties of having two sets of tag
<v Speaker 1>team belts and five matches on every PLA. This is
<v Speaker 1>what happens. So McDonough and Balor they cut off dragonly.
<v Speaker 1>They worked him over in their corner. Styles eventually got
<v Speaker 1>the hot tag. He tried to run the ropes. McDonough
<v Speaker 1>pulled the rope down and AJ tumble hard out to
<v Speaker 1>the floor. That took us into a commercial break. He
<v Speaker 1>was also favorite his knee on the landing. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee got the tag. He went to the top
<v Speaker 1>and mcdonoughh crutched him, or crutched him her.
<v Speaker 2>He crutched him right in the head. He brained him.
<v Speaker 1>Now he crouched him on top and then McDonagh got
<v Speaker 1>tied up though, hanging upside down in the corner, so
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee came off with a double footstomp. Ballard pulled
<v Speaker 1>McDonough out of the ring, so Lee just followed them
<v Speaker 1>out with a topay back inside, Lee went for a
<v Speaker 1>power bomb. Mcdonogough countered into a power bomb of his own.
<v Speaker 1>Styles and Balor they each got the tag and Ballard
<v Speaker 1>caught aj with a sling blade dump. Dragon Lee Styles
<v Speaker 1>came back with a phenomenal forearm, but McDonough made the
<v Speaker 1>save on that cover at the last possible second. It
<v Speaker 1>looked like three to me, but it was close. This
<v Speaker 1>week's episode is sponsored by Express VPN. If you've ever
<v Speaker 1>been to a coffee shop, you sometimes see people sitting
<v Speaker 1>in there on their laptop working while they sip away
<v Speaker 1>on their latte. Now, imagine that person gets up to
<v Speaker 1>go use the restroom and leaves all of their belongings unattended,
<v Speaker 1>including their computer. Sure, most of the time they're probably fine,
<v Speaker 1>but if they come out of that bathroom and that
<v Speaker 1>laptop grew legs and walked off, they really have no
<v Speaker 1>one to blame but themselves. That's what it's like being
<v Speaker 1>on the internet with that ExpressVPN. You may be fine
<v Speaker 1>most of the time, but do you really want to
<v Speaker 1>put your personal data and your privacy at risk when
<v Speaker 1>you don't have to?
<v Speaker 2>I know, I don't.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't have to be a coffee shop. It could
<v Speaker 1>be at the airport, at a hotel, a restaurant. If
<v Speaker 1>you connect to a network that's not encrypted, your data
<v Speaker 1>is not secure. Any hacker on that same network can

<v Speaker 1>your credit card information, you name it, all the things
<v Speaker 1>that you don't want falling into the wrong hands. And
<v Speaker 1>guess what this is the part that should scare the

<v Speaker 1>I usually have my laptop or my tablet with me,
<v Speaker 1>and I make sure I've got the ExpressVPN app installed

<v Speaker 1>So styles caught McDonogh with a pelle kick mcdonoghough came
<v Speaker 1>back with a Spanish Fly, then he came off the
<v Speaker 1>top with a moon Salt. Baler immediately followed with the
<v Speaker 1>Kuda grass Lee, though broke up the cover. Dragon Lee
<v Speaker 1>then took out McDonough with a dive. Styles blocked a
<v Speaker 1>styles clash attempt by Balor, and he rolled through into
<v Speaker 1>a proper styles clash and he got the three count
<v Speaker 1>for his team. So AJ Styles and Dragonlee are your
<v Speaker 1>new tag team champions. Dragon Lee wins main roster gold
<v Speaker 1>for the first time. The live crowd uh pop big
<v Speaker 1>for the finish there. I think more for AJ winning
<v Speaker 1>gold again than anything else. They had a hot match,
<v Speaker 1>And think about it, like, we could have had more
<v Speaker 1>matches like this during this run because Finn Balor and
<v Speaker 1>JD McDonagh are a very good team, but we never
<v Speaker 1>really got to see it.
<v Speaker 2>But they have these titles for all.
<v Speaker 1>This time, and I, you know, I get it their
<v Speaker 1>heels and they don't want to defend them or whatever
<v Speaker 1>the story is. But yeah, to think that we could
<v Speaker 1>have had more matches like this on TV during their
<v Speaker 1>run is you know, it's a bummer because you just
<v Speaker 1>look at this at some point and just go what's
<v Speaker 1>the point of this. Yeah, they're they're hoarding these belts
<v Speaker 1>and they're not doing anything with them. They're not putting
<v Speaker 1>them in the ring. I'm not saying they have to
<v Speaker 1>defend them every single week, but this was just a
<v Speaker 1>complete waste. You know, it was a waste of the titles,
<v Speaker 1>and it was a waste of what we could have
<v Speaker 1>gotten out of these two. But also, it's not like
<v Speaker 1>the division is exploding with different teams either. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>let's not pretend that there's like a long list of
<v Speaker 1>half a dozen great tag teams waiting in the wings
<v Speaker 1>here on Monday Night Raw. There really isn't. But this
<v Speaker 1>is also one way to further the dissension that they
<v Speaker 1>have been teasing for like three and a half years
<v Speaker 1>now between Finn Balor and Dominicque Mysterio. Given that it
<v Speaker 1>was Dom who ran his mouth and got this match
<v Speaker 1>made in the first place, Balor, I'm sure is going
<v Speaker 1>to blame Dom for why they are no longer the
<v Speaker 1>tag team champions, And you know, Dom's got two titles
<v Speaker 1>of his own, so he better watches back. I would
<v Speaker 1>like to see Aj win a few different titles before
<v Speaker 1>he hangs it up like Okay, he's one half of
<v Speaker 1>the tag team champions again. All right, fine, that's cool.
<v Speaker 1>But before he's finished and all said and done, you know,
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental title or the World Heavyweight Championship. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if it's gonna happen. I'm just saying it would
<v Speaker 1>be nice to see it, you know. Before he finally
<v Speaker 1>finishes up, Jimmy Usso was in his dressing room. He
<v Speaker 1>was taping up his fingers when Jay Usso entered, and
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy asked if he was supposed to acknowledge j now,
<v Speaker 1>which was that's kind of funny. Jay conceded that what
<v Speaker 1>he told Jimmy last week wasn't right. I already forgot
<v Speaker 1>what he told him. Jay said that he was mad
<v Speaker 1>at himself for making the same mistake that he did
<v Speaker 1>in Paris, and Jay mentioned something about the Big Oose,
<v Speaker 1>and Jimmy cut him off and said, Roman Reigns is
<v Speaker 1>not here tonight. Roman Reigns is not in the Battle
<v Speaker 1>Royal tonight. You know who is I am?
<v Speaker 2>And so are you?
<v Speaker 1>And Jimmy said that Jay didn't lose his title because
<v Speaker 1>he stuck his neck out to help other people. He
<v Speaker 1>lost it because Jay stopped believing in Jay, and Jay
<v Speaker 1>said that Jimmy was right, and then he added that
<v Speaker 1>Roman might be right too, and Jimmy told him he
<v Speaker 1>better figure it out quick before the Battle Royal because
<v Speaker 1>in the Battle Royal he's going after everybody, including Jay.
<v Speaker 1>And then Jay asked, are we good? And Jimmy gave
<v Speaker 1>him a yeet So again, what did I say before?
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Usso at the end of that Battle Royal was
<v Speaker 1>very upset. He's the one in this promo backstage who
<v Speaker 1>told Jay, I'm coming for everybody in this match, including you.
<v Speaker 1>He can't be mad that Jay turned around and dumped
<v Speaker 1>him out of the ring, Like, Bro, you can't have
<v Speaker 1>it both ways. You can't acknowledge on one hand that
<v Speaker 1>it's every man for himself and I'm coming for you,
<v Speaker 1>and then when the other guy comes for you, you know,
<v Speaker 1>cry like a bitch. That's not how this is supposed
<v Speaker 1>to work. We had Dirty Dom defending he is the
<v Speaker 1>Mega Intercontinental Champion defending the IC title here against Russev
<v Speaker 1>and Dom entered and as soon as Dom entered, they
<v Speaker 1>went to a commercial break. So during the commercial, Dom
<v Speaker 1>took the microphone and he was serenaded by Dirty Dom
<v Speaker 1>chance here in Sacramento. He's very over, so he goes
<v Speaker 1>to the ropes and he poses and everyone cheers, and
<v Speaker 1>he said, this feels a little bit different, but he's
<v Speaker 1>got to do what he's got to do to keep
<v Speaker 1>his title. And at that point Rusev entered and then
<v Speaker 1>they cut away and they came back live. I should
<v Speaker 1>point out that Dom won their first match with the
<v Speaker 1>help of a low blow, so this was the rematch.
<v Speaker 1>Dom caught Russev with a dive before he could even
<v Speaker 1>get into the ring. He threw him into the ring steps.
<v Speaker 1>Once the match began, though pretty much it was all Russev.
<v Speaker 1>He was mauling this guy with shoulder blocks. In the corner,
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio caught Russev with a boot. He came off the
<v Speaker 1>middle ropes with a pair of axe handles. Mysterio tried
<v Speaker 1>to set up for the six one nine. Russev, though,
<v Speaker 1>came back with a clothesline that missed, but everybody decided
<v Speaker 1>to sell it anyway. Rusev dumped Mysterio to the floor
<v Speaker 1>with a fallaway slam and that took us into a
<v Speaker 1>commercial break. Now back in the ring, Dom tried to
<v Speaker 1>sup like Russev, blocked it. Dom shifted his weight into
<v Speaker 1>a DDT for a near fall. So Dom went to
<v Speaker 1>the top for a frog splash. Russev, though, got the
<v Speaker 1>knees up and then Russep dropped him with a spinning urinagi.
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio had enough at that point, and so he tried
<v Speaker 1>to leave with both of his belts. He was going
<v Speaker 1>to exit through the timekeeper's area, but he stopped at
<v Speaker 1>his tracks when he spotted Penta, who magically appeared. So
<v Speaker 1>that was the end of that attempt there. Rusev, though,
<v Speaker 1>ended up grabbing Dominic and threw him into Penta. Penta
<v Speaker 1>then got in Russev's face, so Rusev knocked him out.
<v Speaker 1>As this was going on, dom very covertly reached over
<v Speaker 1>and grabbed the timekeeper's bell hammer. We saw him do
<v Speaker 1>this last week. It's how he beat Penta. He grabbed
<v Speaker 1>the hammer tucked it away in his boot. Right the
<v Speaker 1>same thing here. He grabbed the hammer, he tucked it
<v Speaker 1>away in his boot. Roussep put him back inside. Dom
<v Speaker 1>got him in the ropes. He went for a six
<v Speaker 1>to one nine. Roussev, though, caught his legs and then
<v Speaker 1>he got him down on the mat almost in position
<v Speaker 1>like he was going to put him in a sharpshooter
<v Speaker 1>or something, but instead he reached in and he pulled
<v Speaker 1>out the hammer from Dom's boot and he was going
<v Speaker 1>to hit Dom with it, which would have been pretty
<v Speaker 1>fucking stupid because then he would have been disqualified. So
<v Speaker 1>the referee sees the hammer and you know, hammer time,
<v Speaker 1>and so the referee tries to he takes the hammer
<v Speaker 1>away from him and as the ref goes to dispose
<v Speaker 1>of it, Mysterio kicks Russev low again from behind. He
<v Speaker 1>kicked it, well, I guess the idea is he kicked
<v Speaker 1>him in his balls. It looked like he kicked him
<v Speaker 1>in the ass. And so now he's back in position
<v Speaker 1>for a six one nine. Dom hits it this time
<v Speaker 1>and then hits a frog splash and again he pins
<v Speaker 1>Russev to retain the championship. And then after the match
<v Speaker 1>was over, Dom's leaving, Panta hits Rusev in the ring
<v Speaker 1>with a springboard DDT. So they went with the same
<v Speaker 1>finish his last time, more or less. Yeah, but that's
<v Speaker 1>Dom's gimmick. I mean, he finds a way to win
<v Speaker 1>these matches against these people where you would think he
<v Speaker 1>has no chance of winning, right, It's just such a
<v Speaker 1>mismatch Russev against it. It'd be like putting Omas in
<v Speaker 1>the ring against Dom, right, as comical as that would be.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, Okay, how is this guy going to figure
<v Speaker 1>out a way to win this match? Like realistically, right,
<v Speaker 1>So he's got to be very creative with the ways
<v Speaker 1>that he comes up with to try to keep that
<v Speaker 1>title and win these matches. So you got a hammer
<v Speaker 1>in the boot, whatever it may be. So they did
<v Speaker 1>that finish again here. It feels to me like we
<v Speaker 1>may be headed for a triple threat match with Dom
<v Speaker 1>Russev m Penta.
<v Speaker 2>I guess we'll see. We'll see what happens with Dom.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>Again, we're heading into the month of November and the
<v Speaker 1>rumor is that he is going to be wrestling John Cena,
<v Speaker 1>possibly for the Intercontinental title at Survivor Series. And I
<v Speaker 1>know that has a lot of people excited because they
<v Speaker 1>want Seena to win the Grand Slam. You know, before
<v Speaker 1>he was tires and again, to me, I don't really
<v Speaker 1>care either way, but some people are just he's got
<v Speaker 1>to win the Grand Slam, has to do it. We'll see,
<v Speaker 1>We'll see if Dom even has the championship at that point,
<v Speaker 1>maybe they just do a straight match with Cina and
<v Speaker 1>Dom and there's no title on the line at all,
<v Speaker 1>because I just don't see the need for there to
<v Speaker 1>be a title on the line, especially if it's not
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship. It'd be like if John Cena was
<v Speaker 1>in WCW for all these years, then he had been
<v Speaker 1>the WCW Champion, he had been the United States Champion,
<v Speaker 1>but damn it, John Cena was never the World Television Champion.
<v Speaker 1>And now John Cena's career is coming to an end,
<v Speaker 1>but we have to see him win that Grand Slam.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we desperately need John Seeda to win the
<v Speaker 1>TV title before he retires, like, give me a break.
<v Speaker 1>Cares from one intercontinental title to another. We had Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch defending her title again and Maxine dupri Maxine Duprie
<v Speaker 1>won their first match. It was a shock. She won
<v Speaker 1>their first match by count out, and it was I'll
<v Speaker 1>tell you what was a shock. It was how good
<v Speaker 1>the match was. It was much better than I expected
<v Speaker 1>it to be. So that's why she earned a shot
<v Speaker 1>here at the Championship because she won the first match
<v Speaker 1>and they were in her hometown of Sacramento, So of
<v Speaker 1>course she had her family in the front row, including
<v Speaker 1>her parents, and she was super over when she came out.
<v Speaker 1>John Cena needs to win the twenty four to seven title. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>why don't you put the speed title on John Cena?
<v Speaker 1>How about that? Yeah, that's what we need. Actually, that
<v Speaker 1>might not be a bad ide if you're John Cena
<v Speaker 1>is like a three minute match? Yeah, how come I
<v Speaker 1>don't see people clamoring to see Sina win the speed title.
<v Speaker 1>Wouldn't that count? So Maxine was getting her big shot
<v Speaker 1>here with Jessica Carr again as the referee for this match.
<v Speaker 1>And that's important to note because Becky Lynch has been
<v Speaker 1>having issues with Jessica Carr. Jessica Carr was the same
<v Speaker 1>woman who officiated the mixtag match of Wressell Paloozer. She
<v Speaker 1>was the same referee who officiated the first match between
<v Speaker 1>Becky and Maxine. Yes, between Becky and Maxine, and so
<v Speaker 1>she's blaming the referee, and so here she is again
<v Speaker 1>as the referee for her match. Something they're bill. I'm
<v Speaker 1>telling you, they're building to something between these two. They've
<v Speaker 1>got to be building to something between these two. Lynch
<v Speaker 1>mauled Dupree in the corner with forearms and shoulder blocks.
<v Speaker 1>She tried for her manhandle slam, but Dupree countered into
<v Speaker 1>a roll up for near a fall. Lynch came back
<v Speaker 1>and dumped Dupree to the floor. After a commercial, Maxine
<v Speaker 1>was still on the floor. She was struggling to get
<v Speaker 1>back into the ring. Once she did so, she countered
<v Speaker 1>another attempt at the manhandle slam with a jawbreaker. Dupree
<v Speaker 1>hd a pair of flying clotheslines, had a step up
<v Speaker 1>leg drop only got a near fall. Maxine pulled down
<v Speaker 1>the straps on her gear, got a big pop and
<v Speaker 1>she hit her running knee for a near fall. Maxine
<v Speaker 1>again escaped the urinagi, but also caught Becky with a kick,
<v Speaker 1>and then she locked in an ankle lock. Now Becky
<v Speaker 1>was able to kick her way out of it. She
<v Speaker 1>tried for an armbar and Dupre countered out of the
<v Speaker 1>arm bar in pretty impressive fashion. She basically yeah, she
<v Speaker 1>was struggling in this submission hole.
<v Speaker 2>She kind of.
<v Speaker 1>Floated over into a position to reapply the ankle lock,
<v Speaker 1>and the fans popped for that, but she couldn't win
<v Speaker 1>with it. Maxine came off the top of the crossbody
<v Speaker 1>got a close near fall. Becky rolled to the floor
<v Speaker 1>at that point and she tried to leave with her belt,
<v Speaker 1>but Maxine brought her back into the ring, and Becky
<v Speaker 1>had enough at that point, and she hit Maxine with
<v Speaker 1>the belt, causing the disqualification. The same finish we saw
<v Speaker 1>at the end of SmackDown when cowardlye Cody grabbed his
<v Speaker 1>belt and whacked Drew McIntyre in the head with it
<v Speaker 1>for the disqualification. They did the same thing here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. After the match, Becky drove a knee into
<v Speaker 1>Maxine's face in the corner and then finally put her
<v Speaker 1>down with the manhandle slam. I like their first match better.
<v Speaker 1>This one had its moments in the crowd, given that
<v Speaker 1>it was her hometown. Firmly behind Maxine, she was drawing
<v Speaker 1>power from them and getting all fired up, and they
<v Speaker 1>got a couple of good near falls, a couple of
<v Speaker 1>believable near falls out of it. She's still a work
<v Speaker 1>in progress, but again I can't hate on this because
<v Speaker 1>this is the sort.
<v Speaker 2>Of thing that she needs.
<v Speaker 1>It's the only way she's going to continue to improve
<v Speaker 1>and get better is having matches like this in front
<v Speaker 1>of these crowds against people like Becky Lynch, right, And
<v Speaker 1>I thought she looked better in the first match, but
<v Speaker 1>she didn't look awful here. You know, there was definitely
<v Speaker 1>some clunkiness here in this match. But there's something there,
<v Speaker 1>and I think Becky is trying to bring it out
<v Speaker 1>of her and trying to put a spotlight on her
<v Speaker 1>by working with her, because they're going to work again.
<v Speaker 2>This is not it.
<v Speaker 1>They've had two matches now and Maxine Duprix has beaten
<v Speaker 1>Becky Lynch twice, once by count out and once by disqualification.
<v Speaker 1>So this is going to be another match. The championship
<v Speaker 1>is going to be on the line at that point.
<v Speaker 1>It probably makes sense to do a no DQ no
<v Speaker 1>count out match, right, There must be a winner. But
<v Speaker 1>whatever the stipulation may or may not be, we're going
<v Speaker 1>to get another match between these two. She'll get one
<v Speaker 1>more crack at it, and then maybe at that point
<v Speaker 1>aj Lee'll come back and they could do the match
<v Speaker 1>with aj Lee and Becky Lynch. Which, boy did they
<v Speaker 1>get away from that. Yeah, they haven't really given any
<v Speaker 1>indication that they're going back to it, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>see why they wouldn't. I would assume that that's the
<v Speaker 1>next big challenger for Becky Lynch. They are at highlights
<v Speaker 1>from their recent tour of Japan, including a photo of
<v Speaker 1>Rhea Ripley in her freshly broken nose. See it's Wargames season.
<v Speaker 1>Wouldn't be Wargames season if Ria didn't break her nose.
<v Speaker 1>Then we got a Kabuki Warriors vignette with Oscar and
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie talking about how they've taken care of Ria and
<v Speaker 1>Eo and now they are looking to hold tag team goal.
<v Speaker 1>So they're putting the division on notice for those women's
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles. What division? What is this division they
<v Speaker 1>speak of? Who is in this women's tag team division?
<v Speaker 1>Let's see, we have Twisted Twisted Bliss or Twisted Queens
<v Speaker 1>whatever they're calling them, right, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
<v Speaker 2>We have the Kabuki Warriors.
<v Speaker 1>I think Bailey and Lyra are being built up for
<v Speaker 1>an eventual tag team title match. You have, well, I
<v Speaker 1>guess Chelsea and Alba since Piper Niven is out so
<v Speaker 1>that you count the secret hervis I guess you would
<v Speaker 1>count them, soul Ruka and Zaria who just lost and
<v Speaker 1>who else who am I missing. Is there anybody else
<v Speaker 1>that's not much of a division? Ria an EO or
<v Speaker 1>not an official team? You want to count ria in EO? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>throw them in there too, but they're not really an
<v Speaker 1>official team. Blissful Flare. That should be their name, Blissful Flare. No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't like that. We can do better than that,
<v Speaker 1>Raquel and Roxanne. Yes, the Judgment Day. The Judgment Day,
<v Speaker 1>I forgot about the How could I forget about the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day? They're in like seventeen segments on the show
<v Speaker 1>every single week. We'll get to them in a second year.
<v Speaker 1>We go backstage. Paul Hayman was waiting patiently outside or
<v Speaker 1>maybe impatiently outside of Adam Pierce's office to talk to him.
<v Speaker 1>He finally emerged and he let Hayman know that Bronson
<v Speaker 1>Reid and bron Breaker they were in the graphic. I
<v Speaker 1>had them taken out, and do you know why? Because
<v Speaker 1>they are out of the Battle Royal. And again, that
<v Speaker 1>is actually the sensible decision to make, given that they
<v Speaker 1>are the reason that title had to be vacated in
<v Speaker 1>the first place. As much as I really wanted to
<v Speaker 1>see bron Breaker in that Battle Royal, it kind of
<v Speaker 1>makes sense that Adam Pierce would put his foot out
<v Speaker 1>and say, you know what, you two fuckers caused this
<v Speaker 1>in the first place. I'm not going to reward you
<v Speaker 1>by giving you a chance to become world heavyweight champion.
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman was not happy about this, and he told
<v Speaker 1>Hayman he might reconsider if he says please, which he did,
<v Speaker 1>and Pierce still told him no, and then he slammed
<v Speaker 1>the door in his face. When Hayman turned around to
<v Speaker 1>go leave, Becky Lynch was standing there staring at him,
<v Speaker 1>very upset over what he did to her husband last week.
<v Speaker 1>So Hayman had all the excuses ready for what happened.
<v Speaker 1>He had no choice the bronze. They conspired together to
<v Speaker 1>do what they did. I had to get between them,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and your husband, and I did what I
<v Speaker 1>had to do. But he did say that just because
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins didn't survive the day last week doesn't mean
<v Speaker 1>that there isn't room for Becky in the vision. So
<v Speaker 1>Becky leaned in and she whispered in his ears, saying,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not buying the snake oil that you're selling, right,
<v Speaker 1>It's not going to work on me. She said, Seth
<v Speaker 1>knew that Haymon would turn on him eventually, and he
<v Speaker 1>was actually surprised that it took this long. But don't worry.
<v Speaker 1>When he comes back, he's not going after you. He's
<v Speaker 1>going after whatever Nepo baby that Hayman has attached himself to.
<v Speaker 2>And then she left.
<v Speaker 1>After this, we had the women's world champion, Stephanie Vicaire
<v Speaker 1>against Roxane Perez and this was a match that you
<v Speaker 1>would see this on paper and go, hey, this should
<v Speaker 1>be a pretty good match, right, That's what you would expect.
<v Speaker 2>So they go in that. Now I don't know, someone
<v Speaker 2>let me know.
<v Speaker 1>Were they on the Japanese tour, because I think everybody
<v Speaker 1>just came back, you know, and I know that's a
<v Speaker 1>long trip, and who knows, so if they were on
<v Speaker 1>that trip, maybe they were jet lagged.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. Something felled off in this match.
<v Speaker 1>Vicaire tried for a package pile driver, Roxanne escaped, dropped
<v Speaker 1>to the floor to try to regroup. Back inside, Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>tried for a cradle. She got caught by Perez, so
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie went for the Devil's kiss. A little while later,
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne escaped and behind the referees back were kel. Rodriguez,
<v Speaker 1>who was outside the ring, caught Stephanie with a right hand.
<v Speaker 1>So then after a commercial break, Vicaire hit a meteora
<v Speaker 1>in the corner. She took Perez out of the corner
<v Speaker 1>with a dragon's screw leg whip. Stephanie got the Devil's kiss,
<v Speaker 1>but she was selling that her left wrist was by her,
<v Speaker 1>so Roxanne then decided to go after the wrist. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Raquel was distracting Stephanie on the apron and Perez snapped
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie's arm against the ropes. Vicierre, though caught both women
<v Speaker 1>a short time later with a crossbody off the top rope.
<v Speaker 1>Actually she caught Raquel, she barely even touched Roxanne. Back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Vicaier hit the Christopher Daniels Angels wings, dropping Roxanne face
<v Speaker 1>first onto her.
<v Speaker 2>Knees and she got the pinfall.
<v Speaker 1>After the match was over, Raquel flattened Stephanie from behind
<v Speaker 1>with a clothesline or a forearm shot, I think it was.
<v Speaker 1>And so we had a two on one gang attack
<v Speaker 1>here she was out numbered. The champion was when Nikki
<v Speaker 1>Bella's music kits and she charged the ring and she
<v Speaker 1>cleared the heels until Raquel came back and mowed her
<v Speaker 1>down with a big boot. Stephanie then went for a
<v Speaker 1>springboard into the ring to Raquel, and on the attempt
<v Speaker 1>here at this springboard, she fucked up and she slipped
<v Speaker 1>and she fell very awkwardly kind of into Raquel, and
<v Speaker 1>they both went down. I mean, it's not like she
<v Speaker 1>crashed and burned and didn't even touch her, but it
<v Speaker 1>just she fucked it up and it didn't look good.
<v Speaker 1>And even worse, she came up lame. She came up
<v Speaker 1>holding her knee and clearly she hurt her knee. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>she just heard it. I'm not saying she injured it,
<v Speaker 1>but clearly she hurt her knee on the landing and
<v Speaker 1>she was favoring it, which is something you never want
<v Speaker 1>to see. And the two baby faces they dropped Raquel
<v Speaker 1>with a double dropkick that we missed mostly because at
<v Speaker 1>least on my end, the screen went blank. It went black,
<v Speaker 1>which usually means that something is happening they do not
<v Speaker 1>want you to see. And in this case, when they
<v Speaker 1>came back, what I saw was Nicki Bella desperately trying
<v Speaker 1>to hold her shirt together. So you can draw your
<v Speaker 1>own conclusions from that as far as what may have
<v Speaker 1>been shown that they did not want you to see
<v Speaker 1>she but she was. She was struggling there. She look
<v Speaker 1>she's got a lot to close up here. She was
<v Speaker 1>struggling mightily to try to keep that shirt closed. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this was a mess. This was a mess, even the
<v Speaker 1>match itself. You know, both women, as great as they are,
<v Speaker 1>they just they just seem really off tonight. Stephanie tried
<v Speaker 1>to bridge up at one point, which is not an
<v Speaker 1>easy thing to do. I feel like it's something we
<v Speaker 1>used to see a lot more often in wrestling. We
<v Speaker 1>don't see it as much anymore. The kind of bridging
<v Speaker 1>up spot takes a lot of core strength. Stephanie tried
<v Speaker 1>it and she was going slowly and it's like she
<v Speaker 1>ain't gonna make it, and she didn't. They fell down,
<v Speaker 1>so he tried it again. It wasn't working, so she
<v Speaker 1>kind of abandoned ship on that and they went to
<v Speaker 1>a different spot. There was another point during the match
<v Speaker 1>here where Roxanne was on the ropes and she I
<v Speaker 1>think she may have been pushed, but she took a spill.
<v Speaker 1>If Raquel was not there outside to catch her, she
<v Speaker 1>would have taken a very bed just like the way
<v Speaker 1>that she went for kind of fell forward off the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>It would have been a very bad fall. If Raquel
<v Speaker 1>didn't reach out and catch her, that could have ended badly.
<v Speaker 1>And then that slip up by Stephanie here after the match.
<v Speaker 1>You know it happens, but you hope that it's nothing serious.
<v Speaker 1>You know, when it comes to the knee, you always
<v Speaker 1>worry about that when they come up lame like that.
<v Speaker 1>We already had one world championship on this show vacated.
<v Speaker 1>We do not need another one, Vacer. Can you imagine
<v Speaker 1>both Crown Jewel champions within a week of each other,
<v Speaker 1>they both injure themselves. How fucking terrible that would be.
<v Speaker 1>Now in the back later, Nikki Bella told Stephanie, who
<v Speaker 1>looked okay, how proud of her she was so being
<v Speaker 1>her friend. She wanted to let her know that as champion,
<v Speaker 1>she's going to have a target on her back and
<v Speaker 1>she wishes that when she was the champion somebody would
<v Speaker 1>have given her that advice. Stephanie says, I owe you one,
<v Speaker 1>and of course Nicky says, well, funny you should say
<v Speaker 1>that I just made two enemies out there, so I'll
<v Speaker 1>probably be taking you up on that sooner rather than later,
<v Speaker 1>and Stephanie tells her, I've got your back, so maybe
<v Speaker 1>you want to throw them in there too. Maybe they
<v Speaker 1>could be a tag team now too. Just put people
<v Speaker 1>together Stephanie and Nicki Bella as a team.
<v Speaker 2>Who asked for this? Who asked for this? Team?

<v Speaker 1>met with Lyra Valkyria. They were chatting it up and
<v Speaker 1>Lyra was updating him on how things have been progressing
<v Speaker 1>with her and Bailey. When Bailey showed up and Pierce
<v Speaker 1>could not leave fast enough. His feet could not carry
<v Speaker 1>him fast enough out of there. He's like, all right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm out. Peace and Bailey then mentioned that Lyra's birthday
<v Speaker 1>is coming up and said that she would have a
<v Speaker 1>surprise for her on the show next week. Lyra had
<v Speaker 1>a very worried look on her face. Maybe Bailey could
<v Speaker 1>find Eurpol of the Clown, remember Europel.
<v Speaker 2>I think she's still alive.
<v Speaker 1>She's probably still alive. She wasn't that old when we
<v Speaker 1>saw her last. But I wonder what Eupol is up
<v Speaker 1>to these days elsewhere. Bron Breaker tells Paul Haman, I'm
<v Speaker 1>having a tough time understanding us being out of the
<v Speaker 1>Battle Royal, so maybe you can explain it to us,
<v Speaker 1>And Hayman says, there was this rookie back in two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and two named brock Lesnar and he could have
<v Speaker 1>eaten through the entire roster in his very first night,
<v Speaker 1>but he didn't. He listened to Haman, and five months
<v Speaker 1>later he beat the Rock to win the championship. Then
<v Speaker 1>he mentioned CM Punk nearly being thrown out of WWE
<v Speaker 1>early in his run there, but he listened to Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman and he went on to be the world champion
<v Speaker 1>for four hundred and thirty four straight days because he
<v Speaker 1>listened to Paul Hayman, and who remembers the big dog?
<v Speaker 1>I do, Unfortunately, I think we all remember the days
<v Speaker 1>of the big dog. But he says, who remembers the
<v Speaker 1>big dog? He made Roman reigns, the tribal chief. He
<v Speaker 1>listened to Hayman, and everyone remembers the rain, the tribal hubble.
<v Speaker 1>How can we forget it was three and a half years.
<v Speaker 1>It's hard to forget about that.
<v Speaker 2>He says.
<v Speaker 1>You want to see the vision of the WWE. He said,
<v Speaker 1>the two of you should just look in the mirror.
<v Speaker 1>That is the future of WWI see, nobody is better
<v Speaker 1>at just bullshitting his way through a conversation than Paul Hayman.
<v Speaker 1>He basically said a whole lot of nothing here in
<v Speaker 1>this segment and then left. He's like, I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to deal with this. I'm just gonna tell them what
<v Speaker 1>I think they want to hear, and I'm gonna fucking
<v Speaker 1>leave because what's he gonna say? Right, Adam Pierce made
<v Speaker 1>his decision. There's nothing he could do about it. So
<v Speaker 1>Hayman walks off. Breaker says, I've got a lot to learn. Huh,
<v Speaker 1>and Reid says me too, and Breaker says a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people to hurt too, and Reid says me too.
<v Speaker 1>And then it was time for the Battle Royal to
<v Speaker 1>crown a challenger, not even a number one contender, but
<v Speaker 1>own a challenger for CM Punk at Saturday night's main
<v Speaker 1>event for the World Heavyweight Championship. Speaking of which CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk came out, he came out last, and he did
<v Speaker 1>commentary here for this Battle Royal. And here were the
<v Speaker 1>participants in the Battle Royal. We had Jimmy Usso and
<v Speaker 1>Jay Usso. We had l A. Knight, We had aj Styles, Dragon,
<v Speaker 1>Lee Dominic, Mysterio, russev Penta, Seamus Tozawa, El Grande Americano,
<v Speaker 1>Kofi Kingston, Grayson Waller, Finn Balor and j D McDonough.
<v Speaker 1>So we got an early standoff here between Otis fucking
<v Speaker 1>I forgot to mention Otis first fucking spot of the match.
<v Speaker 1>That's the one guy I forgot to mention, fuck me.
<v Speaker 1>So we got Otis and we got h who is
<v Speaker 1>it Otis?
<v Speaker 2>And Ivar? There we go.
<v Speaker 1>Ivar, I did mention Ivar the fuck is wrong with me?
<v Speaker 1>We got a face off between the two big men here,
<v Speaker 1>the two biggest guys in the match. No less has
<v Speaker 1>ended up though. The first man out Tozaua ripped his
<v Speaker 1>shirt off and he tossed it and it landed perfectly.
<v Speaker 1>When he tossed his shirt, it landed perfectly on Seamus,
<v Speaker 1>like on his shoulder. I don't even think Shamus realized it.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the perfect shot Tozawado was eliminated next by Russev,
<v Speaker 1>so dragonly went for a springboard McDonough and Balor. They
<v Speaker 1>caught him and they sent him flying backwards out to
<v Speaker 1>the floor. Penta and Russev they brawled on the apron
<v Speaker 1>and Dominic ended up shoving both of them to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>So after this we got a forearm battle between Seamus
<v Speaker 1>and Ivar. Seamus tried to lift him but he couldn't
<v Speaker 1>do it. Ivar charged and Seamus basically back dropped him
<v Speaker 1>out of the ring, but Ivar hung on so he
<v Speaker 1>was not yet gone. They both ended up on the
<v Speaker 1>apron together. Seamus lifted him and delivered white noise on
<v Speaker 1>the apron and Seamus hung on to the rope. Ivar
<v Speaker 1>did not, so Ivar tumbled to the floor and that
<v Speaker 1>was the end of him. El Grande Americano loaded up
<v Speaker 1>the mask at this point with his tiny metal plate
<v Speaker 1>and jay Usso punched him in the head and hurt
<v Speaker 1>his hand in the process. But El Grande got dropped
<v Speaker 1>with a one D by the Ussos and they eliminated Americano.
<v Speaker 1>We got a this is awesome chant here in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of this Battle Royal. We don't see too many
<v Speaker 1>of those. This crowd was at least into it. This
<v Speaker 1>crowd was very loud for this match. Seamus dumped McDonough
<v Speaker 1>and Balor at the same time. Balor, though hung on
<v Speaker 1>McDonough did not, but Balor did, and so Seamus delivered
<v Speaker 1>the ten beats and then Balor fell to the floor,
<v Speaker 1>so he was gone. So McDonough then gets back up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron, and so Seamus is going to do
<v Speaker 1>the same thing to him. He starts delivering the ten
<v Speaker 1>beats when Balor reaches up and pulls Seamus out over
<v Speaker 1>the top into the floor, and at that point Seamus snapped.
<v Speaker 1>He went after both of them. This giant brawl erupted
<v Speaker 1>with officials trying to get in between them. Man, poor
<v Speaker 1>Seamous man, he gets eliminated here from the Battle Royal.
<v Speaker 1>His dog just died a few days ago. He posted
<v Speaker 1>about it on his Instagram, so it's been a rough
<v Speaker 1>week for him. In the ring, aj Styles eliminated Dominic Mysterio,
<v Speaker 1>but because all of the referees were tending to the
<v Speaker 1>brawl outside on the opposite side of the ring by
<v Speaker 1>the aisle, you know, Dom got thrown out in front
<v Speaker 1>of where the announcers are. There were no referees there,
<v Speaker 1>so he sneaks back into the ring and tried to
<v Speaker 1>dump Ajaj held on though, but Dom is still in
<v Speaker 1>because the referees didn't see it. He pulled a stone
<v Speaker 1>cold and it worked, so he is still in the
<v Speaker 1>Battle Royal. And at that point, punk On Commentary talked
<v Speaker 1>about years ago the debate between, as he said, George
<v Speaker 1>Steinbrenner and Bobby Heenan. He goes, we need instant replay,
<v Speaker 1>and I popped. But I hate to be that guy.
<v Speaker 1>I hate to be that guy because I know what
<v Speaker 1>he was referencing, and I did pop for the reference.
<v Speaker 1>But I must put I must put my nerd hat
<v Speaker 1>on here, and I must tell you that Bobby Heenan
<v Speaker 1>actually was not involved in that segment. But what he's
<v Speaker 1>referring to was they had this. It's a very weird
<v Speaker 1>segment that was totally out of place, but it was
<v Speaker 1>like a gag. It did different comedy on WrestleMania of
<v Speaker 1>all things, right, WrestleMania seven, they did this segment where
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon was like in studio and he was sort
<v Speaker 1>of officiating, I guess, or moderating a debate via satellite.
<v Speaker 1>You had George Steinbrenner, the then owner of the New
<v Speaker 1>York Yankees, and on the other side of the screen
<v Speaker 1>was Paul maguire, who at the time was an analyst
<v Speaker 1>for the NFL, and they were having a debate about
<v Speaker 1>the pros and cons of instant replay, and it just
<v Speaker 1>again degenerated into comedy and it was such a great
<v Speaker 1>piece of TV. I believe it is edited out of
<v Speaker 1>the Peacock version of WrestleMania seven.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even think it's in there.
<v Speaker 1>I think when it came out on DVD they cut
<v Speaker 1>it out of there as well, so I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know where you can find it. But I understood the reference.
<v Speaker 1>But there was no Bobby Heenen in that segment, So
<v Speaker 1>Styles eliminated Kofi Kingston. He went for a BFT to
<v Speaker 1>aj Styles but aj avoided it. He got Knight in
<v Speaker 1>position for a Styles clash, but Knight fought out of it,
<v Speaker 1>and then Knight locked on a reverse Boston Crab, which
<v Speaker 1>looked kind of cool except for the fact that this
<v Speaker 1>guy put a fucking submission hold on somebody in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of a battle. Royal So Night had Jay Usso
<v Speaker 1>staggering around on the apron, and we got a yeah
<v Speaker 1>yeat battle with the fists, you know, back and forth
<v Speaker 1>until Jimmy Usso caught La Knight with a superkick and
<v Speaker 1>he saved his brother. So Jimmy helped j up and
<v Speaker 1>they caught AJ Styles, who was coming out of mid
<v Speaker 1>air with I guess a phenomenal forearm attempt.
<v Speaker 2>But as he's flying.
<v Speaker 1>Through mid air, the ussos catch him and cut him
<v Speaker 1>down with a double superkick Night and actually Jimmy then
<v Speaker 1>dumped AJ Styles, So La Knight and Jimmy they got
<v Speaker 1>all tangled up in the ropes and you're just waiting
<v Speaker 1>to see, like, Okay, who's gonna dump because they're like
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope waiting for someone to come over
<v Speaker 1>and dump them ount And the person who comes over
<v Speaker 1>to dump them out was actually j Except if you
<v Speaker 1>go back and watch it. It almost looks like just
<v Speaker 1>as Jay was getting there, they were already they were
<v Speaker 1>already going out over the Maybe I just saw a
<v Speaker 1>bad angle of it.
<v Speaker 2>It looked like they were.
<v Speaker 1>Already going before Jay even got there. But Jay rushes
<v Speaker 1>over and he dumps both of them out of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Even though his brother saved him, I think twice in
<v Speaker 1>this Battle Royal, he still dumped out Jimmy So. Now
<v Speaker 1>we're down to two. We're down to Jay Usso and
<v Speaker 1>Dominic Mysterio, and Dom gets him in the ropes and
<v Speaker 1>position for a six to one nine as he comes
<v Speaker 1>in for it, though, Jay dumps Dom out over the
<v Speaker 1>top rope and Jay Usso wins the Battle Royal. Jay
<v Speaker 1>Usso will challenge CM Punk on Saturday Night's main event
<v Speaker 1>for the World Heavyweight Championship. Jimmy Usso was not happy
<v Speaker 1>about what his brother did to him. And again, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just watching this thinking to myself, you know it's every
<v Speaker 1>man for himself, big boy, you knew the rules coming in.
<v Speaker 1>This is not your first rodeo here, big gym here
<v Speaker 1>talking earlier in the night about how I'm throwing everybody out. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>don't you look like a fool. But man, he's all upset.
<v Speaker 1>How can you do me like this?
<v Speaker 2>Right? He's looking back up in the ring, and Jay
<v Speaker 2>Jay doesn't look remorseful in the least.
<v Speaker 1>He's on the ropes, he's yeating, he's posing, right, he's
<v Speaker 1>going a Saturday night's main event. Punk gets in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>We got a face off with him and Jay to
<v Speaker 1>close the show. They win knows to nose, and that
<v Speaker 1>is how it concluded as Battle Royals go. I actually
<v Speaker 1>liked it, you know. It wasn't a Battle Royal that
<v Speaker 1>any of us are going to remember a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>from now or a few months from now. But for
<v Speaker 1>all the television Battle Royals that we've seen, I enjoyed.
<v Speaker 2>It for the most part.
<v Speaker 1>Not so much the finish, but the crowd was super
<v Speaker 1>into it. But this is just not a match that
<v Speaker 1>gets me excited at all. You know, I can't even
<v Speaker 1>pretend to be excited about see I'm punkin Jay usso
<v Speaker 1>being the main event. I shouldn't even say that because
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure we're getting Cody and Drew for the
<v Speaker 1>title on that show, and if they know what they're doing,
<v Speaker 1>we'll get a title change. But I just can't bring
<v Speaker 1>myself to get excited about a Cmpunk Jay USSO World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship match at this point. Again bron Breaker not
<v Speaker 1>being in it. If you come at it from a
<v Speaker 1>logic perspective, it makes sense that Adam Pierce would not
<v Speaker 1>want him to be in there, so I'll give them that.
<v Speaker 1>But man, you know, AJ Styles was in that fucking
<v Speaker 1>battle Royal Man, and the chance to do CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>and AJ for the title on that show and do
<v Speaker 1>a special match like that, especially at Punk is gonna
<v Speaker 1>end up getting the belt anyway, I just think it's
<v Speaker 1>a missed opportunity. If you were going to do that match,
<v Speaker 1>that feels like it would have been a good place
<v Speaker 1>to do it, unless that's going to be a WrestleMania match.
<v Speaker 1>But I would imagine they have something bigger playing for
<v Speaker 1>Cmpunk on that show next year, so it sucks that
<v Speaker 1>they didn't, you know, go in that direction. I'm still
<v Speaker 1>not totally convinced they're going to do, you know, crown
<v Speaker 1>a new champion on that show. I still feel like
<v Speaker 1>there is a pretty decent chance that the Vision will
<v Speaker 1>get involved, There'll be some kind of fuck finish, and
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna drag it out a little bit longer, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, because you're you're close enough to survivor series
<v Speaker 1>where I feel like you may as well. Right, that's
<v Speaker 1>your big show next month. It's not Saturday Night's main event.
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event is the show that is likely.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you're going to have an angle or a
<v Speaker 1>finish or whatever that will build to whatever the bigger
<v Speaker 1>angle is going to be, or the bigger match is
<v Speaker 1>going to be in San Diego, and that's okay. All
<v Speaker 1>depends on how you do it, right. It would be
<v Speaker 1>kind of lame to promise a new world champion then
<v Speaker 1>not deliver it. But I just feel like if they
<v Speaker 1>have a good idea to follow up on it, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like a tournament, I can get behind that. You know
<v Speaker 1>that I can get behind because I feel like that
<v Speaker 1>would be fun. That would make things a little more
<v Speaker 1>interesting than just oh, well see I'm punk pinja Uso
<v Speaker 1>and now he's the world heavyweight champion. Okay, if you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do that, you may as well make the match special.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I said punkin aj styles. At least if
<v Speaker 1>you're just gonna do a match like that and put
<v Speaker 1>the belt on Punk. I'd much rather see that. But
<v Speaker 1>the Bronze obviously are not going to let this stand.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll see what happens next week. Maybe they start
<v Speaker 1>wrecking people next week, or they save.
<v Speaker 2>It for two weeks from now. I guess we'll find out.
<v Speaker 1>But man, of all the possible outcomes here, they went
<v Speaker 1>with the least interesting. I'm digging the story between Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Jay. I'm not saying that it's a bad story,
<v Speaker 1>but in terms of the matches that they could do
<v Speaker 1>on that show, man, that is not the one that
<v Speaker 1>I would have done. Let's take a look at the
<v Speaker 1>Twitter poll. Let's see what you thought of this show here,
<v Speaker 1>what did you think of Raw from Sacramento? Sixty five
<v Speaker 1>point five percent thumbs up, thirty four point five percent
<v Speaker 1>thumbs down. Uh, that was twenty seven years ago, not
<v Speaker 1>twenty Would you stop aging me?
<v Speaker 2>Please?
<v Speaker 1>Are you telling me? Deadly Game was almost thirty years ago?
<v Speaker 1>Thirty years ago? I can't believe that. I refuse to believe.
<v Speaker 1>This can't be possible. We have three hundred and seventy
<v Speaker 1>one likes. By the way, we're still about thirty away
<v Speaker 1>from our be the Booker goal. Although we got a
<v Speaker 1>bonus one in the chat, we're getting pretty close. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>death sythe I'm gonna start with you.
<v Speaker 2>Man. We got some good shit here.
<v Speaker 1>Let's get through this death sythe with a pair of
<v Speaker 1>super chats. Man, I can't believe that. Man, almost thirty
<v Speaker 1>years since that Deadly Game tournament. That is, where the
<v Speaker 1>fuck does the time go?
<v Speaker 2>Man death Side says.
<v Speaker 1>Last time I mentioned Cmpung being aj styles final opponent,
<v Speaker 1>I meant the match would take place at the Elimination
<v Speaker 1>Chamber in Chicago. They could even headline with it. If
<v Speaker 1>Punk wins the Royal Rumble, the match could then be
<v Speaker 1>for Punk's WrestleMania title shot. You could do that again.
<v Speaker 1>It's just especially a babyface, so dumb. If they're like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'll put my guaranteed title match at WrestleMania that I
<v Speaker 1>work my ass off for by winning the Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>and outlasting twenty nine other men, I'll put that on
<v Speaker 1>the line. But in the case of Styles, you know,
<v Speaker 1>if people know going into it that that's going to
<v Speaker 1>be his last WrestleMania, you know, you can really turn
<v Speaker 1>that into kind of an emotional thing where people would
<v Speaker 1>want to see him beat Punk and get that shot.
<v Speaker 1>Because that might be his last opportunity to become world champion.
<v Speaker 2>I mean that could work.
<v Speaker 1>But then he says, if WWE wants to extend his contract,
<v Speaker 1>then AJ could face Gunther at WrestleMania. The kickoff with
<v Speaker 1>Gunther could be He mocks AJ how he failed to
<v Speaker 1>win the Royal Rumble and failed to beat punkin Elimination Chamber.
<v Speaker 2>Now he is retiring as a phenomenal failure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I would have him push the idea, especially
<v Speaker 1>if he's the one who wrestles Sena in his final match.
<v Speaker 2>He could just push that.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I retired Bill Goldberg, and I retired John Cena.
<v Speaker 1>Now I'm gonna retire you.
<v Speaker 2>See.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like AJ then should win. Joseph Stewart, In
<v Speaker 1>your opinion, which Joker smile was scarier? Jack Nicholson or
<v Speaker 1>Heath Ledger scarier scarier? See the Nicholson one was creepier.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like Ledger was scarier just because of the
<v Speaker 1>the the scars and not knowing how he got them.
<v Speaker 1>He had a different story every time he said, how
<v Speaker 1>you want to know how I got these scars, I'll.
<v Speaker 2>Go a Ledger.
<v Speaker 1>Have you seen the Jack Nicholson and Jennifer Lopez movie
<v Speaker 1>Blood and Wine.
<v Speaker 2>I have not.
<v Speaker 1>Did you know Tim Curry was originally supposed to voice
<v Speaker 1>the Joker in Batman the Animated series before Mark Hamill?
<v Speaker 1>I did not know that. I saw a video of
<v Speaker 1>Tim Curry recently at an event. He's in rough shape.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know the affliction that he has, but he
<v Speaker 1>was still out and telling jokes and telling stories, so
<v Speaker 1>i' mean good for him.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 1>Did you know that al Pacino was going to voice
<v Speaker 1>two Face in Harvey Dent and Batman the Animated series
<v Speaker 1>before Richard Mole was cast? Can you imagine that al
<v Speaker 1>Pacino voicing a Batman cartoon? That would have been wild.
<v Speaker 2>Death? Sid says, I was.
<v Speaker 1>Thinking what if it was Roman Reigns who attacked Jacob.
<v Speaker 1>Now it doesn't make sense to me, though, Why would
<v Speaker 1>he do that? Why would he care that Jacob was
<v Speaker 1>about to potentially challenge for the WWE Championship. I guess
<v Speaker 1>the only story there you could tell is that he,
<v Speaker 1>you know, wants to be champion again one day and
<v Speaker 1>does not want another member of the of the family
<v Speaker 1>to sort of usurp him. I guess that could be
<v Speaker 1>the story, but to me, it's it's just it's reaching
<v Speaker 1>too much. It's just reaching too much. Dry Chickens says,
<v Speaker 1>Triple H making me hate pro wrestling in America when
<v Speaker 1>it comes with his booking decisions. He doesn't do progress.
<v Speaker 1>He does sports entertainment. He says, Thank goodness Shawn Michaels
<v Speaker 1>and Tony Kahan are around. Well, It's good to have variety.
<v Speaker 1>Shawn Michaels has his way of doing Every promoter has
<v Speaker 1>their way of doing things. Triple Ah does tend to
<v Speaker 1>play it very, very safe. He tends to coast and
<v Speaker 1>he loves putting his face out there. He loves to
<v Speaker 1>put his name on things, put his.
<v Speaker 2>Stamp on it.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chickens is throughout the rest of the year, I'm
<v Speaker 1>focusing on John Cena's final match appearance for WWE, not
<v Speaker 1>watching Raw or SmackDown until there is improvement. SmackDown has
<v Speaker 1>shown some signs of improvement the last couple of weeks.
<v Speaker 2>They still have a wayte to go, but they.
<v Speaker 1>Seem to be recognizing that changes are needed. That's a
<v Speaker 1>step recognizing that you have a problem and then you
<v Speaker 1>can address them. Collins says, who did Russev piss off? Backstage?
<v Speaker 1>It seems he keeps getting wildly coyoted by Dominic Mysterio
<v Speaker 1>every other week. Yeah, but so does everybody else. It's
<v Speaker 1>not just Russev. Penton does too. You know, they're just
<v Speaker 1>they're pushing dom. They're pushing dom at the expense of
<v Speaker 1>people like Pentav Right now, Russev is just another one
<v Speaker 1>in the bunge. It's not like they're singling him out.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he did win the feud with Seamus. I
<v Speaker 1>think before tonight that we hadn't even seen Seamus on
<v Speaker 1>TV since he lost that last match to Russo Doctor Scorpio.
<v Speaker 1>Let's go, Blue Jays. We're going to the World Series.
<v Speaker 1>Good game, Seattle. Heck of a series and it would
<v Speaker 1>be or it would take a divine intervention to beat
<v Speaker 1>the Dodgers in the World Series. But proud of this.
<v Speaker 2>Team we got.
<v Speaker 1>Hydro Grad fifty seven says, I have not watched Raw
<v Speaker 1>yet since I am watching the Seahawks game, but I
<v Speaker 1>just wanted to hop on here real quick and show
<v Speaker 1>you some love solo. Been a while since I've donated.
<v Speaker 1>Have a great stream. I will catch it later tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, hydro Grad. Good to hear from you. It
<v Speaker 1>has been a while. Good to know you're still with us.
<v Speaker 1>We got jdf VA, when do we get three piece
<v Speaker 1>suited solomonster, I'm gonna have to do better than a
<v Speaker 1>Monday night Raw stream for that. Tell you what if
<v Speaker 1>we ever we ever do like a wrestling wedding in
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory, I may have to break out the
<v Speaker 1>three piece suit.
<v Speaker 2>I may have to officiate the ceremony.
<v Speaker 1>I may have to do the training online so that
<v Speaker 1>I could be the efficient efficient or efficient? What do
<v Speaker 1>you call that for? Efficiant? I could officiate ceremony. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>First off, glad to hear redline start off. The show
<v Speaker 1>took an unfortunate injury. Needed to make Raw interesting and
<v Speaker 1>watchable again. But damn La Night cannot even get the
<v Speaker 1>spot when Seth is out. The hate is real on
<v Speaker 1>Triple H's side. I knew La and I wasn't getting
<v Speaker 1>it just I just knew. Also, he says, let me
<v Speaker 1>see here, let me grow up here. Don't know who
<v Speaker 1>is going to be in the WrestleMania main event, but
<v Speaker 1>bron needs to beat CM punk at Elimination Chambers to
<v Speaker 1>get a spot. That would be some epic heat in
<v Speaker 1>Shy Town. Yes, it would be if you went in
<v Speaker 1>there and beat Punk in Chicago. Oh to the j
<v Speaker 1>I was at Raw tonight, Hot Crowd, and I could
<v Speaker 1>finally say that I saw Cmpunk do what he did
<v Speaker 1>does best, and it's sure as shit isn't wrestle. Dirty
<v Speaker 1>Dom and Maxine Dupree were incredibly over well. Maxine obviously
<v Speaker 1>it was her hometown and Dom. Dom's been getting babyface
<v Speaker 1>reactions in a lot of cities. When the time is
<v Speaker 1>right to like actually turn him, he's going to be
<v Speaker 1>a huge babyface. We got b Man the champ. What
<v Speaker 1>if the Wyats recruit John Cena to help them fight
<v Speaker 1>the motherfucking Tongans. I know that's not what MFT stands for,
<v Speaker 1>but it is in my heart for wargames. No, although
<v Speaker 1>I do agree that's what it does actually stand for.
<v Speaker 1>Bobby's world with the fifty up for the manager position
<v Speaker 1>where I work. Never wanted to be a manager in
<v Speaker 1>my whole life, but perhaps this is the way. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>when you start seeing those paychecks as the manager, it'll
<v Speaker 1>be the way, all right?
<v Speaker 2>Could you use some good.
<v Speaker 1>Vibes from the great Solo and the amazing Gunhar Well,
<v Speaker 1>Gunthar always sends you positive vibes, and so do I,
<v Speaker 1>and so do all of us. I hope you get
<v Speaker 1>the position, buddy, because it'll be more money in your paycheck.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what's not to like. It'll be more responsibility too.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the position would entail in your case,
<v Speaker 1>depends on what the job is, but.
<v Speaker 2>I know you're gonna kill it.
<v Speaker 1>Then you get to right in next week and tell
<v Speaker 1>me that you got the position.
<v Speaker 2>We got, mactub.
<v Speaker 1>What are some of your favorite Royal Rumble performances besides
<v Speaker 1>ninety two Rick Flair, I feel Hbk's and twenty ten.
<v Speaker 1>Despite not being an iron Man was Beauty Full in
<v Speaker 1>Austin in ninety seven. Yeah, there was one with Dbiasse
<v Speaker 1>that he was in there for like fifty five minutes
<v Speaker 1>or something. Rick Martel I think in ninety one had
<v Speaker 1>a pretty long performance. I remember that that was a
<v Speaker 1>pretty good one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of people talk about like Foley in ninety
<v Speaker 1>eight Three Faces of Foley. I didn't really care for that. Yeah, Michael,
<v Speaker 1>the Michaels one is pretty memorable. Brock in twenty twenty,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's a great rumble. A lot of people
<v Speaker 1>bitched about that, especially going into it. Oh, you got
<v Speaker 1>Brock in there, he's the champion. What's he doing in there?
<v Speaker 1>And then he was just eliminating people. But I love
<v Speaker 1>what they did in that rumble, So those would be
<v Speaker 1>some of them. Spartan sprinkles. Well, this was the chance
<v Speaker 1>to give La Night a run. Abyssle Zones. I definitely
<v Speaker 1>wanted a Punk versus Night title feud.
<v Speaker 2>You'll get punkin Jay Usso and like it. Yea JDFVA.
<v Speaker 1>Here's my idea, cross brand tag and women's titles. Dude,
<v Speaker 1>the tag team titles should be cross brand. I've been
<v Speaker 1>saying this forever, you know. I mean, they deunified them
<v Speaker 1>and SmackDown was on a roll there for a while.
<v Speaker 1>Now it's stone Cold Raw's not much better. And you
<v Speaker 1>look over at AW and they're having a tag team resurgence.
<v Speaker 1>You know, what used to be their strength five six
<v Speaker 1>years ago, they got away from it and now all
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, it's almost like overnight. It's like, man,
<v Speaker 1>we got a real fucking hot division here, you know,
<v Speaker 1>with a ton of different teams, you know, and I
<v Speaker 1>wish they had that in WWE right now.
<v Speaker 2>But the other real Vinnie Mack.
<v Speaker 1>They should do a ten men, every man for themselves
<v Speaker 1>Wargames match for the Vacant belt. First person to get
<v Speaker 1>a fall wins after everyone has entered.
<v Speaker 2>You could you could do.
<v Speaker 1>That, Yeah, but then you just have people going for
<v Speaker 1>fucking falls every five seconds. Why wouldn't they? Right, it'd
<v Speaker 1>be an interesting way to do a war Games match.
<v Speaker 1>Not I'm not saying you can't do it. You can't.
<v Speaker 1>You can do something like that, be man the champ
<v Speaker 1>I forgot. Congrats to Vacant for yet another reign. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Vacant claims another one. Prince Begeta says, I believe that
<v Speaker 1>one of the worst booking decisions Triple H made this
<v Speaker 1>year was AJ not winning the Intercontinental title in France.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, f you Dave for not giving Sena
<v Speaker 1>Aj five stars. Dude, he never He never gave Kurt Angle.
<v Speaker 2>A five star match.
<v Speaker 1>Sean Michaels and the Undertaker WrestleMania twenty five had four
<v Speaker 1>and three quarter stars, and I guarantee you if that
<v Speaker 1>match was in Japan, it would have had the full Monty.
<v Speaker 1>All depends on the location. It was in Houston, though
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't in Tokyo, so it's only good for four
<v Speaker 1>point seventy five. Honestly, who gives a shit? Seriously, who cares?
<v Speaker 1>It was a great match?
<v Speaker 2>I say.
<v Speaker 1>I always say that Hogan Rock from WrestleMania eighteen five
<v Speaker 1>star match, you know, and I think he gave it
<v Speaker 1>like three, you know, or something like that, like who cares, dude?
<v Speaker 2>Here seventy three.
<v Speaker 1>I was hoping for it Styles to win the Battle
<v Speaker 1>Royal too would have been a fun match against Punk
<v Speaker 1>and something for no story behind the match. But that
<v Speaker 1>didn't stop Styles and sen It from having a classic.
<v Speaker 2>No, it did not.
<v Speaker 1>And in this case, I wouldn't fault them for it
<v Speaker 1>because again, they're trying to crown a new champion. Somebody
<v Speaker 1>got hurt, not a lot of time to build up
<v Speaker 1>a story for that match, So I would let them
<v Speaker 1>slide on this one. If they wanted to do punkin
<v Speaker 1>aj Or. I mean, whatever match is not going to
<v Speaker 1>have much of a story to begin with. Mac tub
<v Speaker 1>rank As draws, Seena, Lesnar, Taker, Goldberg, and Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Goldberg was a big draw for WCW for
<v Speaker 1>a hot minute, but it was during an era that
<v Speaker 1>is very popular. But I mean as far as draws,
<v Speaker 1>he's pretty he's pretty low on the list seen as
<v Speaker 1>number one. Yeah, I mean you gotta go Sinaw, you
<v Speaker 1>gotta go Roman. Goldberg's run just wasn't long enough. Just
<v Speaker 1>wasn't he just wasn't long enough. That's the problem there.
<v Speaker 1>You know, probably would go Sena, Roman, taker Goldberg, and
<v Speaker 1>then Lesnar Probably something like that. Julia Hart fan says
<v Speaker 1>Maxine Duprie versus Stephanie Vacaire twenty minutes five stars, Natalia
<v Speaker 1>right up there with Sabin and Belichick.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Belichick's not doing too well, right or so I hear
<v Speaker 1>Prince Begeta. It's I'm a punk fan, but Drew carried
<v Speaker 1>that feud last year in my opinion, But Drew has
<v Speaker 1>gotten zero world title since then, and Punk's about to
<v Speaker 1>get another one. Give Drew his flowers. Doesn't have to
<v Speaker 1>be for long, but come on, dude, I would do
<v Speaker 1>it on Saturday Night's Made event. He absolutely should win
<v Speaker 1>that championship from Cody. Jeremy Rose says, I thought we
<v Speaker 1>were done with Niki Bella. You thought wrong, and the
<v Speaker 1>Bella Army is strong man. She's not going nowhere. Emperor
<v Speaker 1>Comet Skynet for Booker of the Year Elijah with a
<v Speaker 1>nine to ninety nine sidebar. I've been mi I A
<v Speaker 1>for a while due to work, so forgive me if
<v Speaker 1>this has been answered. But did Tanga Loa Superfan disappear
<v Speaker 1>as soon as Toga Loa return to the ring, because
<v Speaker 1>I have a theory he did, But then we ended
<v Speaker 1>up with Tomatonga Superfan, and ever since Tomatanga came back,
<v Speaker 1>we have not heard from Tomatonga Superfan. I have a
<v Speaker 1>couple of theories myself. Jeremy Rose, any chance that Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Jay Part two at WrestleMania?
<v Speaker 2>I hope not.
<v Speaker 1>If it's anything like Part one, I hope not, But
<v Speaker 1>I think they would probably want to try to erase
<v Speaker 1>the memory of that first match and do better the
<v Speaker 1>second time. I really I hope not, But you know what,
<v Speaker 1>if it keeps Jay away from the World Heavyweight Championship
<v Speaker 1>for a bit, then have at it. Yeah, that match
<v Speaker 1>was just fucking god awful. Man, that match was so
<v Speaker 1>fucking terrible. Oh my god, Why would anybody want to
<v Speaker 1>see part two? Bass Beers says, I hear Sacramento, I
<v Speaker 1>think of the rock singing. You know what, It's funny
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned that I hear Sacramento. I think of two things.
<v Speaker 1>I think of the rock concert on Raw and I
<v Speaker 1>think of the Royal Rumble in ninety three. I think
<v Speaker 1>that was at the Arco. Those are the two things,
<v Speaker 1>the first two things that come to mind for me.
<v Speaker 1>We got a Rabia Night, says, Jay gets pushed just
<v Speaker 1>because he has a cool entrance and obviously, being a NEPO,
<v Speaker 1>La Knight will never fully get a true shop because
<v Speaker 1>he got organically over and WWE hates that. Yeah, they're
<v Speaker 1>not really too fond of that. They've shown that in
<v Speaker 1>the past. Devin from NJ buy or sell Long Island
<v Speaker 1>or Staten Island, Long Island. Elijah, we need a bonus
<v Speaker 1>round in case the Wyatt six ruined the first one,
<v Speaker 1>he says, the Wyatt socks. There's that WWE shop idea.
<v Speaker 2>I wouldn't be.
<v Speaker 1>Surprised if they already have that up there. You can
<v Speaker 1>buy your own pair of the Wyatt socks. I hope
<v Speaker 1>they don't sell one sock though, for like eight dollars
<v Speaker 1>like they did mister Soko. And you know this guy
<v Speaker 1>right here spent eight dollars on one sock many years ago.
<v Speaker 1>It's not my finest moment, Navy says Mercedes Monet one
<v Speaker 1>a thousand belts never drew a dime. I heard that
<v Speaker 1>in the Mike Graham voice in my head. She's got twelve?
<v Speaker 1>How many more will she collect? Herrabian night? Why does
<v Speaker 1>Punk need to win the Royal Rumble? He's already a
<v Speaker 1>top guy and in his late forties. It should be
<v Speaker 1>Sammy's ain or a young guy, someone who could benefit
<v Speaker 1>and ascend it to the next Leo who was saying
<v Speaker 1>that cmpunk has to win the Royal Rumble, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying that. I've been not talking about me. I've never
<v Speaker 1>said that. I think Cmpunk should win the Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>in Saudi next year. He doesn't need to doctor Scorpio,
<v Speaker 1>So Mercedes has another title. Did someone had her brain
<v Speaker 1>removed and put it back in? Or am I confusing
<v Speaker 1>her with TK? Good Lord, thanks for watching. Aw that's
<v Speaker 1>you're thinking of the SBATA story where Dave said that
<v Speaker 1>he had his brain removed and then put back into
<v Speaker 1>his skull. We have mister Fury with us. Hey, Solo,
<v Speaker 1>are you going to see Black Phone two?
<v Speaker 2>I'd like to.
<v Speaker 1>I've been reading some pretty good things about it. I
<v Speaker 1>saw Black Phone many years ago, and I enjoyed it,
<v Speaker 1>So I would like to try to see this one,
<v Speaker 1>Alex with that twenty five says brother solo. If we
<v Speaker 1>do end up getting Rock versus Roman or Cody and
<v Speaker 1>Punk against Austin for WrestleMania forty three in Saudi, which
<v Speaker 1>match officially finishes the show? And are you excited for
<v Speaker 1>any of those matches as I sit here right now? No,
<v Speaker 1>not really, I can't say that I am. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>which match closes the show? You've got two nights.
<v Speaker 2>I mean.
<v Speaker 1>You can close with both of them. Now that you've
<v Speaker 1>got two nights, it doesn't really matter. But if Rock
<v Speaker 1>is wrestling, then you're ending with the Rock I mean, period,
<v Speaker 1>end of story.
<v Speaker 2>That's it.
<v Speaker 1>But again, you got two nights, so like you could
<v Speaker 1>do Austin and Punk on night one and then Rock
<v Speaker 1>and Cody or Rock and Roman on night two. I've
<v Speaker 1>heard that Black Phone two is as close to a
<v Speaker 1>Nightmare on ELM Street Movie in some ways.
<v Speaker 2>Huh.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I was never really a big Freddie guy. I've
<v Speaker 1>seen a couple of the movies. I didn't see all
<v Speaker 1>the movies. I don't think that would affect me very much.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, is that a bad thing? Aren't there a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people who love The Nightmare on ELM Street Movies.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm not reading anything about the plot and
<v Speaker 1>like specifics and stuff, but like I'm just saying things
<v Speaker 1>I've heard, is that you know it's well received.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even know when it's coming out. When when's
<v Speaker 2>the release date? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I do know that we hit our bonus goal in
<v Speaker 1>the chat. Look at that we are ten out of
<v Speaker 1>ten there and we also have four hundred and forty
<v Speaker 1>six likes. And you know what that means. That means
<v Speaker 1>that we are getting a double dose. We are getting
<v Speaker 1>a double dose of be the Booker, gold Standard with
<v Speaker 1>the five says Raw was better than Wrestle Dream this week.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you gold Standard. Jason is an all time favorite.
<v Speaker 1>Freddie is an all time favorite. Freddy has better quality movies.
<v Speaker 1>What about Michael? He didn't mention the best one of
<v Speaker 1>all Halloween Baby. Be the Booker, Ladies and gentlemen, it
<v Speaker 1>is now time to be the Booker. Is Rock even
<v Speaker 1>as strong as he used to be, since he trimmed
<v Speaker 1>down immensely well, he trimmed down for a movie. Rock
<v Speaker 1>is always just one cheat meal away from being right
<v Speaker 1>back to the same physique he had before, although as
<v Speaker 1>he gets older it's harder to maintain a physique like
<v Speaker 1>that without some chemical assistance. I really have no interest
<v Speaker 1>in seeing Rock back in the ring. So we got
<v Speaker 1>that great final boss run there where you know what
<v Speaker 1>that turned into, and you know what, That's good enough
<v Speaker 1>for me.
<v Speaker 2>But let's do it.
<v Speaker 1>We got one round to go through and then we
<v Speaker 1>got our bonus round.
<v Speaker 2>Always good night when we have the bonus round.
<v Speaker 1>We got Kaz, We got Enzo Big Cast and Enzo Amore.
<v Speaker 1>Look how young they look. They look like babies. They're
<v Speaker 1>gonna be taken on. We got more of the blood
<v Speaker 1>line here, sam ooh and Fatu. We have the headshrinkers
<v Speaker 1>against Caz and Enzo. I didn't give that, can't give
<v Speaker 1>that a bell. Be kind of funny to see the
<v Speaker 1>Samoans beating the hell out of Enzo.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 1>We just can't get away from this blood line, can we?
<v Speaker 1>They're everywhere? Uh it's ReHO. ReHO is back. Ye know
<v Speaker 1>what I love about Riho? She shows up out of
<v Speaker 1>nowhere after being gone for for months and months and
<v Speaker 1>months and months and months, and she just randomly shows
<v Speaker 1>up and she's wrestling for the championship, and then she loses,
<v Speaker 1>and then she disappears again, Like have we even seen
<v Speaker 1>her since she lost to Mercedes's I've never seen anything
<v Speaker 1>like it, Like she reappears and then just instantly disappears
<v Speaker 1>and nobody even really notices, and then one day she'll
<v Speaker 1>just randomly reappear again, like eight months from now. I
<v Speaker 1>don't get it. ReHO and Lash legend, hmmm, ReHO and
<v Speaker 1>Lash Legend, I don't know. Maybe I should have gone
<v Speaker 1>for a bell. I mean, Lash has made some great
<v Speaker 1>improvements and I don't know her and Rijo? Is that
<v Speaker 1>a good clash of styles there? I don't know, not
<v Speaker 1>really feeling that one. All Right, our first main event,
<v Speaker 1>we all look who it is. Look who it is, everybody,
<v Speaker 1>look at this badass guy. It's Vato's sting. You don't
<v Speaker 1>want to fuck with this guy. You do not want
<v Speaker 1>to fuck with this guy right here, Voto's thing is
<v Speaker 1>the most dangerous of all the things, and he's going
<v Speaker 1>to be taken on. This isn't this isn't our truth.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually Ron Killings because he's got all of that's
<v Speaker 1>the night he cut all of his hair off, which
<v Speaker 1>ended up being fucking pointless. But Ron Killings is a
<v Speaker 1>former NWA World's Heavyweight Champion as his Sting. Ron Killings
<v Speaker 1>and Voto Sting. Now that's the main event that I
<v Speaker 1>would pay, yeah, five dollars and I would go say
<v Speaker 1>that maybe ten mayb be ten. We'll say ten. Go
<v Speaker 1>see that main event. Who wins Voto Sting or Grandpa Sting?
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, I don't know. Grandpa Sting now with the
<v Speaker 1>white hair and that fucking magnificent goatee like yellow stones thing,
<v Speaker 1>it's a hard one to beat.
<v Speaker 2>Where has he been? Where? Killings? He's uh, he's nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>He's he's employed because they fired him, they let go
<v Speaker 1>and they got a lot of shit for it. So
<v Speaker 1>they hired him back, but they didn't hire him back
<v Speaker 1>with any actual plans on what to do with him.
<v Speaker 1>So he's collecting dust but at least he's employed again.
<v Speaker 2>Oh god, the visual.
<v Speaker 1>Ante, it's the visual anti Sting. That's not Sting, that's
<v Speaker 1>a picture of Sting.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>All right, so our second round we have stipulations here,
<v Speaker 1>as you guys know, and oh my god, and why
<v Speaker 1>it's just like the third time, I feel like I've
<v Speaker 1>landed on this in the last three weeks. Somebody has
<v Speaker 1>it out for me. Punjabi prison match. We have a
<v Speaker 1>Punjabi prison match, and it's gonna be a women's match.
<v Speaker 1>Because I've made the decision here, this is going to
<v Speaker 1>be a women's match.
<v Speaker 2>We have Lyda.
<v Speaker 1>Leda can't do a moon salt off the top of
<v Speaker 1>the Punjabi prison Lida and Naomi. Now, if this was
<v Speaker 1>anything but a Punjabi prison match, I would say, you
<v Speaker 1>know what, that'd be a pretty good match.
<v Speaker 2>But it's not.
<v Speaker 1>So I have to give it the butts because that
<v Speaker 1>sounds like it would be a terrible stipulation for a
<v Speaker 1>Lida and Naomi match. It's terrible, absolutely terrible. There will
<v Speaker 1>be no clean sweeps tonight. We have ourselves a Full
<v Speaker 1>Metal Mayhem match. This is a TNA stipulation. Full Metal
<v Speaker 1>Mayhem is it's not like basically their TLC equivalent. I
<v Speaker 1>believe it is. We're gonna have a Full Metal Mayhem
<v Speaker 1>tag team match. I have decided with the Rhodes brothers,
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes and gold Dust. I'm gonna pick three teams
<v Speaker 1>for this, all right, So that's team number one. We
<v Speaker 1>have the Young Bucks. Look at this Cody and Dustin
<v Speaker 1>the Young Bucks. This is supposed to be a TNA match,
<v Speaker 1>not an AAW match. And the Rock and Roll Express
<v Speaker 1>Ricky and Robberts. You know, they just uploaded I think
<v Speaker 1>a two hour compilation on the WWE Vault channel. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's literally nothing but Rock and Roll Express Midnight
<v Speaker 1>Express Matches. If you are an aspiring wrestler or an
<v Speaker 1>aspiring tag team wrestler especially, I would advise you to
<v Speaker 1>go check out that video, learn as much as you can,
<v Speaker 1>and borrow as much as you can from what you
<v Speaker 1>see in that video. All Right, we got our main event.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go, Here we go, Baby, what are we
<v Speaker 1>looking at?
<v Speaker 2>Here?
<v Speaker 1>What are we looking at? Where you're looking at? An
<v Speaker 1>APA Invitational? An APA Invitational, which means that we are
<v Speaker 1>going to have Actually, how are we going to do this?
<v Speaker 1>We have a whole bunch of people who are going
<v Speaker 1>to be in this. I'll tell you what I'll do.
<v Speaker 1>We're going to pick four people. We'll pick four, all right,
<v Speaker 1>how about that? Pick four for the APA Invitational. It's
<v Speaker 1>just a wild like barroom brawl type match, and the
<v Speaker 1>Easter Bunny is there, so these people will be fighting
<v Speaker 1>with the Easter Bunny. Ooh, Demon Balor is going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the APA Invitational Diesel either. I say one,
<v Speaker 1>look at Balor, man, I could I could power bomb
<v Speaker 1>that Vanilla midget with my eyes closed. Diesel and Demon Balor.
<v Speaker 1>We need two more Terry Funk. I'm liking. This is
<v Speaker 1>a good mix of people that we got here. Oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, look at this. Look at this mix of people,
<v Speaker 1>demon Ballor, Diesel, Terry Funk, and Bautista along with the
<v Speaker 1>Easter Bunny in the APA Invitational Diesel Batista, demon Balor.
<v Speaker 1>That is that is quite the crew and Terry Funk. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>I'm picking Terry Funk. I got Terry Funk to win.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it could it be anybody El else the
<v Speaker 1>barroom brawl, it's right up his Allly of course Funk wins.
<v Speaker 1>What anyway you're funking?
<v Speaker 2>Mind? All right?
<v Speaker 1>Well, we had some interesting matches there. Sounds like Batista, no, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>Batista does not go over, Terry Funk goes over. Alex
<v Speaker 1>says as a Giants fan, solo, I am devastated with
<v Speaker 1>that awful loss yesterday.
<v Speaker 2>How did you feel well?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, my honest reaction, I just laughed because when
<v Speaker 1>I looked earlier at the game they were dominating, and
<v Speaker 1>my brother is a big Giants fan, so I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, well, finally, right, it's about time they have
<v Speaker 1>like a dominant a dominant game, dominant game. And then
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think anything of it again until later, I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>I came across something on X where I saw the
<v Speaker 1>result they lost by a point, and I'm like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck happened? Weren't they up like nineteen nothing. I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember what the score was, but I mean it
<v Speaker 1>was like how they were up like nineteen nothing and
<v Speaker 1>what did they lose? Thirty three thirty two? Like, how
<v Speaker 1>does that happen? They're like the Mets of the NFL.
<v Speaker 1>What is with these awful New York teams? We're basically
<v Speaker 1>everything is resting on the fate of the Knicks. That's
<v Speaker 1>basically it, Like the Knicks have to save us. This
<v Speaker 1>city has been embarrassed by these sports teams. It's the
<v Speaker 1>Knicks or bust. Devin says, buy or Sale two thousand
<v Speaker 1>and two thousand and one, Triple h or twenty eleven,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twelve, CM punk, I mean I like them both,
<v Speaker 1>but cmpunk, I gotta go punk I mean looking for
<v Speaker 1>the total package in terms of great matches and promos
<v Speaker 1>and just overall entertaining. Cmpunk. They lost in historical fashion.
<v Speaker 1>Oh is that what happened? The kicker missed two extra points. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>that's just brutal. Doctor Scorpio says, you got the Yankees,
<v Speaker 1>but duh Yankees lose? Yes they do, Thank you, Laddie.
<v Speaker 1>Next time I'm with you live here is going to
<v Speaker 1>be Wednesday night. We got the post Wrestle Dream edition
<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite coming up. Full Gear is the next stop,
<v Speaker 1>so we have to see how they build up some
<v Speaker 1>of these feuds. Obviously they're heading towards another Hangman Samoa
<v Speaker 1>Joe match. Darby has vanquished Moxley, and so where does
<v Speaker 1>he go?
<v Speaker 2>Who knows? We'll find out.
<v Speaker 1>They've already announced Ocata and Bandido for the unified title,
<v Speaker 1>and then the Hurt Syndicate are challenging for the trios
<v Speaker 1>titles against the Ops, so we already know that. So
<v Speaker 1>that'll be Wednesday night, and then I'll be with you
<v Speaker 1>again on Friday night for the SmackDown post show. They
<v Speaker 1>make it three weeks in a row where we see
<v Speaker 1>noticeable improvements on that show. They still have to address
<v Speaker 1>Julia and the US title, how are they going to
<v Speaker 1>handle that situation? And then tomorrow night I'll be over
<v Speaker 1>on JD's channel for Tuesday Night Titan. So you've got
<v Speaker 1>a full week of content coming up. See you guys
<v Speaker 1>back here on Wednesday night. Until then, take care, guys,
