<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katie and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>I've been meaning to tell you guys this.
<v Speaker 3>This is just a quick random story. I saw the
<v Speaker 3>best thing at the gym yesterday, the best thing. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>So I go to the rec center near my house,
<v Speaker 3>and the time of day I go is generally.
<v Speaker 2>All of the sweet little elderly people.
<v Speaker 3>They're in there doing their little yoga classes and their pilates,
<v Speaker 3>and it's the weight room is constantly filled with just
<v Speaker 3>old men.
<v Speaker 2>And I love it. I truly love it.
<v Speaker 3>One because I feel like a god in there right
<v Speaker 3>when I'm curling fifties.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I've got my vibes here. You feel like
<v Speaker 2>a god first of all.
<v Speaker 3>Second, you hear some great stories and you meet some
<v Speaker 3>of the sweetest little old men.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I absolutely love it.
<v Speaker 3>And third, yesterday I'm sitting there working out and this
<v Speaker 3>old man comes in in denim overalls and in old
<v Speaker 3>farmer's hat and just the T shirt underneath the overalls,
<v Speaker 3>and that.
<v Speaker 2>Is what he wore to the rec center to work
<v Speaker 2>out yesterday. The outfit. That was the outfit.
<v Speaker 3>He was like opening up his closet and he's like,
<v Speaker 3>today's the day for the denim overalls.
<v Speaker 1>Tell me he's on the StairMaster with like straw and
<v Speaker 1>his teeth.
<v Speaker 3>He was there with this young I mean, she probably
<v Speaker 3>had to been like twenty one years old, just doing
<v Speaker 3>like some physical therapy or something with him, helping him
<v Speaker 3>work out, helping him on the ellipticals and all that.
<v Speaker 2>And the poor dude.
<v Speaker 3>Is just sweating as you know, what's all because he's
<v Speaker 3>in denim old. And I made eye contact with her
<v Speaker 3>a few times and she was even like, Ah, this
<v Speaker 3>is what you wanted to wear.
<v Speaker 1>It's not breathable.
<v Speaker 3>Though I immediately said I didn't take a picture because
<v Speaker 3>I don't I'm not that person who takes pictures of
<v Speaker 3>people at the gym because that's a jerk.
<v Speaker 2>But I did text my wife would be like, you're
<v Speaker 2>gonna love this.
<v Speaker 3>There's a little old man in full farmer's overalls right
<v Speaker 3>now working out. Were they like short overalls or no?
<v Speaker 3>It is It look like he came in from the field.
<v Speaker 3>He just got off his John Deere tractor. He had
<v Speaker 3>like work boots on too, so it was full jeans overalls,
<v Speaker 3>work boots, the T shirt underneath and a trucker's hat.
<v Speaker 2>And he had to have been eighty years old, and
<v Speaker 2>I was like, I love this. Oh my god, I
<v Speaker 2>love the dedication farmer shee, it's farmer sheep. So good.
<v Speaker 3>We just talked to a bunch of people during Fast
<v Speaker 3>five who are taking their kiddos out for a little
<v Speaker 3>chick or treating. But the hot new hype not necessarily new,
<v Speaker 3>but I think it's big this year is the trunk
<v Speaker 3>or treating. We just talked to numerous people that have
<v Speaker 3>taken their kids to do that. It's essentially Halloween tailgating.
<v Speaker 2>Really.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, we have two different trunk or treating events
<v Speaker 3>this weekend. We've got I believe one to night and
<v Speaker 3>one tomorrow morning. Yeah, that were taking at least one
<v Speaker 3>kid too. One's a little burnout well on Halloween.
<v Speaker 1>But that's what surprises me is not a trunk or
<v Speaker 1>treat because we had these when we were younger, but
<v Speaker 1>they were like businesses who wanted to get in on it.
<v Speaker 1>You still had your trick or treating festivities. So that's
<v Speaker 1>what surprises me is now there are no trick or
<v Speaker 1>treating festivities.
<v Speaker 2>Right, isn't that it Halloween Day?
<v Speaker 1>But do it anymore? They don't do the Halloween Do
<v Speaker 1>you are your kids gonna actually trigger treat, go door
<v Speaker 1>to door and get candy.
<v Speaker 2>We do make a loop in on our block, okay,
<v Speaker 2>but not.
<v Speaker 1>Like we used to do back in the day where
<v Speaker 1>we are out there for.
<v Speaker 2>Hours hours in random neighborhood. Yeah, going, you travel as
<v Speaker 2>far as you could. It is a journey, like you,
<v Speaker 2>that's not a thing anymore.
<v Speaker 1>No, they don't do this anymore.
<v Speaker 3>So this really took off, so says this story, because
<v Speaker 3>of COVID. So a lot of people just went out
<v Speaker 3>with their trunks open and everybody had their masks on,
<v Speaker 3>and it was still a chance for the kids to
<v Speaker 3>out and get candy and everything. But it's like hasn't
<v Speaker 3>died out, they say, in a lot of these neighborhoods,
<v Speaker 3>they've actually just retired check or treating and they're doing
<v Speaker 3>the trunk or treats, which.
<v Speaker 2>I guess is fine.
<v Speaker 3>The aspect that I love about it is the decorating
<v Speaker 3>of your vehicle. Yeah, but some of these people go
<v Speaker 3>all out when it comes to decorating their their trunks
<v Speaker 3>or their hatchbacks or whatever, and then they're standing out
<v Speaker 3>in costumes.
<v Speaker 2>They really get into it. Yeah, and I like it.
<v Speaker 2>The creativity is really really cool and that is fun, but.
<v Speaker 1>You also do that to your house, right, Like, I
<v Speaker 1>just I feel like this is such a shift.
<v Speaker 2>In the way we do Halloween.
<v Speaker 1>And you know, I'm excited to possibly get some trigger
<v Speaker 1>treaters at my door and I don't. I just don't
<v Speaker 1>know if I'm gonna get any. Do you get trigger treats,
<v Speaker 1>Josh on your street?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>And that's the thing, like when you're saying decorating their
<v Speaker 4>cars and trunk I have in my neighborhood. I have
<v Speaker 4>never seen this. They decorate their houses and we do
<v Speaker 4>I guess old fashioned trigger treating. Yeah, I've not seen
<v Speaker 4>the trunk.
<v Speaker 2>I have not seen that.
<v Speaker 4>It's it's a cool neat idea, but it's just not
<v Speaker 4>in my neighborhood. I remember, like the kids come to
<v Speaker 4>my door.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, when and when Zoe was little, it would be
<v Speaker 1>like the churches that would do the truck unkor treats
<v Speaker 1>right through their parking lot. So those I get, but
<v Speaker 1>like to completely replace the trick or treating, it kind
<v Speaker 1>of makes me. I just wonder how many people out
<v Speaker 1>there if you're just doing the trunk or treat Texas
<v Speaker 1>or like, if you're you know, actually doing.
<v Speaker 2>Trick or treating.
<v Speaker 1>Tell us that trick or treating is still a thing
<v Speaker 1>with little here. Yeah, I want to know how many
<v Speaker 1>people are out there trick or treat, so I know
<v Speaker 1>how much candy to get, right, that's it. How much
<v Speaker 1>candy am I gonna be.
<v Speaker 2>Able to eat at the end of the night. That's
<v Speaker 2>what I want to know.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, the one that we go to at the church,
<v Speaker 3>which will be at tomorrow.
<v Speaker 2>I love making it weird because I dress up as Satan.
<v Speaker 2>You do not, No, you don't. You don't have to
<v Speaker 2>dress up for that one, buddy, No.
<v Speaker 1>No, you don't pitchfork it all. Yeah, face, no, that's
<v Speaker 1>not okay, jere me.
<v Speaker 2>I just joking. I'm just joking. I dress up as
<v Speaker 2>an angel, of course. Okay, there you go.
<v Speaker 3>It's the one day the year I can let my
<v Speaker 3>my wings out and let my halo.
<v Speaker 2>Shine one day. Why are you laughing? I just it's
<v Speaker 2>picture news. A lot of people are like you, Where
<v Speaker 2>do you hide your wings? Man? Where do you hide
<v Speaker 2>your wings?
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to know that a lot of listeners
<v Speaker 1>don't want to know that you're angel.
<v Speaker 2>Where do you hide those wings? They're under my hood
