<v Speaker 1>Another Monday Night Raw in the books, the final one
<v Speaker 1>before Saturday Night's main event, which is coming up in
<v Speaker 1>Salt Lake City this weekend. We will crown a new
<v Speaker 1>world heavyweight champion, or will we not sure about that,
<v Speaker 1>but we had one last face off tonight with CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk and Jay Usso in theory, one of these two
<v Speaker 1>men will be the next world heavyweight champion. Whether that
<v Speaker 1>happens or not, we'll have to wait and see. And then,
<v Speaker 1>of course we have this little side story which I
<v Speaker 1>think at some point will become the main story on
<v Speaker 1>this show of Jimmy and Jay. Are they on the
<v Speaker 1>same page? Are they cool? For tonight they were cool.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see if that carries over into Saturday. What we
<v Speaker 1>got from Punk and Jay was very basic. Honestly, it
<v Speaker 1>really wasn't anything special because what is there to really say,
<v Speaker 1>you know, this situation got dumped in their lap. The
<v Speaker 1>match was supposed to be seth Rollins against CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>and so they had to recalibrate their plans. We ended
<v Speaker 1>up with this match, the least interesting of all the
<v Speaker 1>potential match they could be giving us this weekend. That's
<v Speaker 1>not what closed the show, though. They actually closed the
<v Speaker 1>show with the women's tag team titles. We don't see
<v Speaker 1>them defended on this show very often. Charlotte Flair and
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss, they were on Raw tonight to put the
<v Speaker 1>titles on the line against Bailey and lyra Vel Carrie.
<v Speaker 1>This came out of a social media challenge, a video
<v Speaker 1>that Bailey had posted a few days ago, and so
<v Speaker 1>that's how this match came together. And when the match
<v Speaker 1>was over, and it was a very good main event.
<v Speaker 1>When the match was over, we got sort of a
<v Speaker 1>little hint as to what Women's Wargames is shaping up
<v Speaker 1>to look like. We didn't have all the key players
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. There was no Rhea Ripley. There
<v Speaker 1>was no Eo Sky, who just had a fantastic match
<v Speaker 1>with Mayu Ewaitani at the Marigold Show just a couple
<v Speaker 1>of days ago. I assume that's why she wasn't on
<v Speaker 1>the show here tonight. But the Women's Wargames matches slowly
<v Speaker 1>coming into focus after what we saw tonight. That was
<v Speaker 1>actually one of a handful of very good matches on
<v Speaker 1>this show. Actually, Seamus and Jad McDonagh had an excellent
<v Speaker 1>man on this show. And then we had La Knight
<v Speaker 1>and bron Breaker, which you know we'll talk about. Were
<v Speaker 1>it not for the handful of really good matches that
<v Speaker 1>we had on this show, that really was the saving
<v Speaker 1>grace of Monday Night wrought tonight because I thought the
<v Speaker 1>rest of this show was very dull. It was largely
<v Speaker 1>very boring. We do have a new championship match added
<v Speaker 1>to Saturday Night's main event. It will be Dominic Mysterio
<v Speaker 1>putting his Intercontinental title on the line, but against who
<v Speaker 1>I don't mean, Jim Knightheart. We had a singles match,
<v Speaker 1>a number one contenders match tonight Penta and russev. The
<v Speaker 1>winner would go on to challenge dom I will let
<v Speaker 1>you know who that person or people is going to be.
<v Speaker 1>But we did get that match added. Now, what people
<v Speaker 1>have been talking about all day, actually, what people have
<v Speaker 1>been talking about all weekend are these vignettes that have
<v Speaker 1>been dropped on WWE social media channels, and they aired
<v Speaker 1>a series of them throughout the show tonight. It's been
<v Speaker 1>like four of them. Yet everybody all weekend, what could
<v Speaker 1>this be in reference to who's coming back right or
<v Speaker 1>who's debuting? Is it? Is it gun the because they
<v Speaker 1>show you someone's shoes, someone's walking Whose shoes are these?
<v Speaker 1>Is it Gunther? Is it Chris Jericho? Chris Jericho is
<v Speaker 1>like the wildest one, especially given the fact that he's
<v Speaker 1>still under contract to another company. But people got it
<v Speaker 1>in their heads that, oh, maybe it's Chris Jericho, Like
<v Speaker 1>who is it going to be? Let me, let me
<v Speaker 1>put your mind at ease here, And if it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>obvious after tonight, I don't know what to tell you.
<v Speaker 1>But this is part of the initial rollout for WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>forty two in Las Vegas. So I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be a series of vignettes or just one
<v Speaker 1>big one that they unveil. We didn't get the unveiling tonight,
<v Speaker 1>but that's all it is. It's it's a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>hype videos for WrestleMania next year. The dead giveaway was
<v Speaker 1>the last one they showed us, which was a spinning
<v Speaker 1>poker chip that lands and it says twenty twenty six
<v Speaker 1>on it. And then there's another one you could clearly
<v Speaker 1>see it's Cody Rhodes's hand. He's pouring some of that
<v Speaker 1>Wheatly vodka into a glass. There's another one with someone
<v Speaker 1>wearing jeans and shoes. Obviously, it's brock lesnar That's all
<v Speaker 1>it is. So don't get your hopes some no one
<v Speaker 1>is debuting. It's nothing like that. I don't know. Again,
<v Speaker 1>maybe later in the week they'll give us the big
<v Speaker 1>reveal for what it is. But before people get to
<v Speaker 1>get all excited about what this could be in reference
<v Speaker 1>to they're going back to Las Vegas. That's all it is.
<v Speaker 1>This is your Raw on Netflix review. It is Monday,
<v Speaker 1>October twenty seven, twenty twenty five. I am the Solo Monster,
<v Speaker 1>our final Raw post show here for the month of October,
<v Speaker 1>final Raw before Halloween, which is coming up at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the week. Very excited about that. Like and subscribe.
<v Speaker 1>Super chats are open. I also want to say thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I posted this on social media earlier, but I did
<v Speaker 1>want to just say thank you again. The latest sound off,
<v Speaker 1>episode nine thirty five, went up yesterday and climbed as
<v Speaker 1>high as number two for all wrestling podcasts on Apple
<v Speaker 1>Podcasts in the United State. Look at this a little
<v Speaker 1>cornette sandwich here. It's like a Oreo cookie. But you
<v Speaker 1>know the best part of the Oreo cookie, It's that
<v Speaker 1>creamy filling. That's what I am I'm the creamy filling,
<v Speaker 1>So thank you for getting us to number two, getting
<v Speaker 1>me to number two. If you missed the latest SoundOff,
<v Speaker 1>I've gotten a lot of feedback about that last segment,
<v Speaker 1>the mail bag segment, the last question in the mail bag.
<v Speaker 1>People seem to be very entertained by that. You'll definitely
<v Speaker 1>want to go check that out. I will. I will
<v Speaker 1>get that up on the YouTube channel tomorrow. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>so thank you, thank you for that. The other thing
<v Speaker 1>I want to mention is that I will be live
<v Speaker 1>on Saturday. We are going to be reviewing Saturday night's
<v Speaker 1>main event. See the last couple of ones I wasn't
<v Speaker 1>around for, but I'll be here for the next two.
<v Speaker 1>So join me for that post show that'll be coming
<v Speaker 1>up on Saturday night. Of course, I'll be here Wednesday night,
<v Speaker 1>Friday night, and Saturday night. So you're gonna be getting
<v Speaker 1>Altimi this week. Hopefully he don't get sick of me,
<v Speaker 1>and if you do, well, you wouldn't be the only one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure. They opened the show. Let's go back to
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of Raw tonight. They opened the show with
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship sitting on a podium in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the ring, and Jay Usso was yeating his
<v Speaker 1>way through the crowd all the way down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>And then after his music died, of course, he ran
<v Speaker 1>it back and they cued his music up again and
<v Speaker 1>he did some more yeating. You know, look the live crowds,
<v Speaker 1>all the little kids and the live crowds, they obviously
<v Speaker 1>they love to yeat, right, and they get big into
<v Speaker 1>Jay's entrance and very clear right. It's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>fun for them when you're alive, when you're watching it
<v Speaker 1>on TV, though, And ten minutes go by and nothing
<v Speaker 1>has happened other than watching this man come through the
<v Speaker 1>crowd and yeat and sing, and then the music stops
<v Speaker 1>and they play it again and more yeating, and fucking
<v Speaker 1>twelve minutes of the show has elapsed. That's not my
<v Speaker 1>idea of fun. But finally it ended, and now it
<v Speaker 1>was time for Jay to speak, and he welcomed us
<v Speaker 1>to Mujay Night Raw, which I mean is just complete cringe.
<v Speaker 1>Jay complained about having everybody in his ear. Jimmy's in
<v Speaker 1>his ear, Roman's in his ear, his own mother is
<v Speaker 1>in his ear, but he says that he's only listening
<v Speaker 1>to himself now. And he's focused on winning the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight championship. And he went to go do his catchphrase
<v Speaker 1>that was really gonna be it. That was going to
<v Speaker 1>be the entire promo here that he was going to
<v Speaker 1>give us, and then Cmpunk's music hit. So Punk comes
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring and they're circling. The championship is
<v Speaker 1>in between them. They're kind of circling each other, and
<v Speaker 1>Punk asked the fans if he wants them to run
<v Speaker 1>his music back, and they do and they start playing
<v Speaker 1>Cult of Personality again, which was kind of funny, and
<v Speaker 1>thankfully he cut that shit off before we wasted another
<v Speaker 1>ten minutes on this. So he told Jay sorry for
<v Speaker 1>stealing your stuff. Four letters, one word, Punk, so that
<v Speaker 1>he's happy that Jay is finally listening to himself. It's
<v Speaker 1>no secret that the two of them are friends, which
<v Speaker 1>is what makes it harder for him to go in
<v Speaker 1>to battle against him this weekend. And then Punk mentioned
<v Speaker 1>what happened last week. I remember they had that number
<v Speaker 1>one contender's battle royal on the show last week, and
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy saved his brother a couple of times, and then
<v Speaker 1>ultimately Jay dump Jimmy out of the ring. Jimmy was
<v Speaker 1>not very happy about that. So Punk brought all of
<v Speaker 1>this up, and the crowd booed, and Punk admonished the
<v Speaker 1>fans and said, no, no, don't boo that Jimmy knew
<v Speaker 1>the rules. It's every man for himself in a battle Royal.
<v Speaker 1>There's no need to boo. And Punk asked Jay, how
<v Speaker 1>far are you willing to go to be champion? Because
<v Speaker 1>he needs to be champion just like he needs air
<v Speaker 1>in his lungs. How far is Jay willing to go
<v Speaker 1>when Punk has knocked his grill out of his mouth
<v Speaker 1>and he's in a situation where you can't yet your
<v Speaker 1>way out of it. So Jay said that he's been
<v Speaker 1>in the deep water before. He knows how to swim.
<v Speaker 1>He said, Punk tries to paint a picture of him
<v Speaker 1>being the bad guy. Screw you, CM Punk on Saturday night,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to show you who the best in the
<v Speaker 1>world is. And Jay closed with his catchphrase and then
<v Speaker 1>he slammed the mic down and they had a little
<v Speaker 1>face off here at the end. They showed some good
<v Speaker 1>fire here, But I mean, this was as basic as
<v Speaker 1>it gets. It didn't have a whole lot to say
<v Speaker 1>In the annals of Great CM Punk promos that we've
<v Speaker 1>gotten here on this show and all of the feuds
<v Speaker 1>that he's had since he came back to the company.
<v Speaker 1>This will not go down as one of the more
<v Speaker 1>memorable CM Punk promos because there's not a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>to work with here. Again, this match came about last week,
<v Speaker 1>so they had one week one to promote this match
<v Speaker 1>between two babyfaces who have not had beef with each
<v Speaker 1>other at all, not at all. Now, that's why I said, like,
<v Speaker 1>of all the potential opponents for CM Punk on this
<v Speaker 1>show this weekend, jay Uso was the least interesting of
<v Speaker 1>the bunch because even if it was only one segment
<v Speaker 1>here on this show that you had to really sell
<v Speaker 1>people on the magnitude of this match and why this
<v Speaker 1>match could be something special. I mentioned all the different
<v Speaker 1>names last week, right, and there's two names in particular
<v Speaker 1>that come to mind. Since you know bron Breaker was
<v Speaker 1>not in the Battle Royal La Knight and aj Styles,
<v Speaker 1>you have something to work with. We had a promo
<v Speaker 1>segment a few weeks ago with Punk in l a
<v Speaker 1>Night that was actually very entertaining. Instead we got punkin
<v Speaker 1>jay Uso, and this is not jay USO's specialty. You know,
<v Speaker 1>selling you on the big match, coming up standing in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of the ring in front of a live
<v Speaker 1>crowd and digging down deep and bringing from you know,
<v Speaker 1>out from within him, you know, something that's going to
<v Speaker 1>have people kind of really listening in and leaning in
<v Speaker 1>and paying attention to what he has to say. That's
<v Speaker 1>not jay Uso. Jay Usa doesn't have a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>to say. So that you got what you got here,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else I was really expecting. I
<v Speaker 1>pretty much got what I expected, which wasn't much. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm still hoping that we do not crown a new
<v Speaker 1>world heavyweight champion this weekend, and perhaps the Bronze will
<v Speaker 1>get involved. Yes, I actually think that if the Vision
<v Speaker 1>were to get involved, as if we don't see this
<v Speaker 1>all the time, but this is the one exception I'll
<v Speaker 1>make where I'm actually hoping the Vision gets involved and
<v Speaker 1>they can find a way to drag this thing out
<v Speaker 1>until Survivor series. It's very unlikely because I'm sure Punk
<v Speaker 1>and a lot of these guys are going to be
<v Speaker 1>in the war Games match. I'm sure, but I'm holding
<v Speaker 1>out hope they could find a way to drag this out.
<v Speaker 1>Now he had penta one on one with Russev. This
<v Speaker 1>was a number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship.
<v Speaker 1>Penta knocked Russev out to the floor. He followed with
<v Speaker 1>a topey conehilo. This was very early in the match.
<v Speaker 1>Back inside, Penta hit a springboard tornado DDT for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Russev dropped to the floor. He was out
<v Speaker 1>there to regroup and he caught Penta with a right hand.
<v Speaker 1>When he followed him out back inside, Rusev squashed Penta
<v Speaker 1>in the corner with an avalanche. Penta came back with
<v Speaker 1>a backstabber. It was a sliding drop kick that sent
<v Speaker 1>Russev to the floor. Penta followed again, and this time
<v Speaker 1>he got flat jacked into the ring post. So after
<v Speaker 1>a break, Penta jumped into a bear hug, but he
<v Speaker 1>fought his way out of it, and Penta went up
<v Speaker 1>top and he dove off right into a Machka kick
<v Speaker 1>from Russev. Russev went for the accolade. Penta was able
<v Speaker 1>to counter into the Penta driver got a great near
<v Speaker 1>fall out of it. It was close enough that the
<v Speaker 1>fans thought it was three. It was very clearly not three,
<v Speaker 1>and yet the fans anyway, they chanted Refu suck, and
<v Speaker 1>I thought, you know, this is not the first time
<v Speaker 1>in the last several weeks on a WWE show where
<v Speaker 1>there has been a near fall that was close. But
<v Speaker 1>like we see near fall sometimes where you know what
<v Speaker 1>it should have been three right, or the referee has
<v Speaker 1>to hold up or something. But there have been near
<v Speaker 1>falls the last few weeks that were close, but like
<v Speaker 1>the referee made the right call. There was really nothing
<v Speaker 1>controversial about it, and the fans still chant Refu suck.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's not the ref that sucks. Maybe it's the
<v Speaker 1>fans that suck. I'm starting to wonder. At that point,
<v Speaker 1>we had Ryo and Bravo Americano, Pete Dunn and Tyler
<v Speaker 1>Bate under a mask. They come out along with El
<v Speaker 1>Grande Americano. They run in. They attacked both Russev and Penta,
<v Speaker 1>so they threw the match away. They went to work
<v Speaker 1>on Penta. Rusev rose to his feet behind them and
<v Speaker 1>he disposed of Riyo and Bravo. Penta. TI's the Mexican
<v Speaker 1>destroyer to El Grande until his compadres reached in and
<v Speaker 1>they dragged him out of the ring to safety. So
<v Speaker 1>this was the finish I think most of us probably expected.
<v Speaker 1>We probably could all see that there was a triple
<v Speaker 1>threat match coming, and so with the outcome of this match.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, later in the show, it was made official
<v Speaker 1>that there will be a triple threat match on Saturday Nights,
<v Speaker 1>made event for the Intercontinental Championship. It will be Dirty
<v Speaker 1>Dom defending against both Russev and Pentam. So that match
<v Speaker 1>has been made official. And you could add this, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, to my list of tropes that I talked
<v Speaker 1>about on the podcast this weekend, all those things, those
<v Speaker 1>little things, those wrestling tropes that annoy me, that don't
<v Speaker 1>make any sense logically. You could add this to the list,
<v Speaker 1>because how many times over the years on this show
<v Speaker 1>have we seen a heel run into a match like this,
<v Speaker 1>or in this case, send some of his friends to
<v Speaker 1>run interference in a match like this because they don't
<v Speaker 1>want to defend their championship against either one of them,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll just ruin the match and there's no winner,
<v Speaker 1>And so the dipshit healed things. Well, if there's no winner,
<v Speaker 1>then that means I don't have to defend my championship
<v Speaker 1>against anybody. And of course, every single time, what ends
<v Speaker 1>up happening is that the champion has to defend his
<v Speaker 1>title in a t man match because they're too stupid
<v Speaker 1>to realize. Every single time they do this, they're just
<v Speaker 1>fucking themselves over. You could add that to the list
<v Speaker 1>of wrestling trumps. It's very low on the list compared
<v Speaker 1>to some of the things I talked about, but this
<v Speaker 1>is one that I forgot. Now in the back, Jackie
<v Speaker 1>Redman interviewed La Knight, who had stitches in his head
<v Speaker 1>from last week, and he said he came up short
<v Speaker 1>in the Battle Royal. She wanted to know where do
<v Speaker 1>you go from here? That's a really good question. We
<v Speaker 1>actually had a backstage interview. We're asking a very logical question. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>La Knight, where do you go from here? And so
<v Speaker 1>he said, Jay Usa is going to Saturday Night's main event,
<v Speaker 1>and he isn't He doesn't know how to quit. So
<v Speaker 1>whoever comes out of the punkin j match will have
<v Speaker 1>to deal with him. So evidently he's still going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the hunt. According to him, anyway, he'll be waiting.
<v Speaker 1>He'll be waiting for whoever the champion is that. Good
<v Speaker 1>luck with that. Now. Elsewhere in the back, we go
<v Speaker 1>to the Vision locker room and Bron, Breaker, Bronton, Reid,
<v Speaker 1>and Paul Hamon are altogether and Breaker wants to know
<v Speaker 1>why they were held out of the Battle Royal last
<v Speaker 1>week when they could have demolished every man in the match,
<v Speaker 1>and Hayman says, well, you gotta look at it like this.
<v Speaker 1>It probably would have led to Adam Pierce suspending all
<v Speaker 1>of them without pay and being a thorn in their
<v Speaker 1>side for the rest of their careers. He said. One
<v Speaker 1>man shares their vision, which is taking advantage of the
<v Speaker 1>winner of the Cmpung j Usso match on Saturday after
<v Speaker 1>they beat each other half to death. Whoever it is
<v Speaker 1>will show up next week as a victim looking to
<v Speaker 1>be victimized by a true victimizer. Hayman says, if Bron
<v Speaker 1>takes out the one guy who is in the way
<v Speaker 1>of them getting that next world title shot, then Bron's
<v Speaker 1>path to the championship would be clear. Breaker wants to
<v Speaker 1>know who is that one guy, and Hayman said he
<v Speaker 1>already went to Adam Pearson made the match. That guy
<v Speaker 1>is La Knight. Why do I feel like I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>reruns of this show every single week? Like there are
<v Speaker 1>times I will watch this show, but they'll book a
<v Speaker 1>match and I will think to myself, I feel like
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching a rerun. I know this is live television
<v Speaker 1>fifty one weeks a year, fifty two weeks, whatever, but
<v Speaker 1>it feels like I'm watching a rerun. This is one
<v Speaker 1>of those times La Night bron Breaker. Where have I
<v Speaker 1>seen this before? La Night and bron Breaker, La Night
<v Speaker 1>and Bronson Reid, La Night and Jay Uso, La Night
<v Speaker 1>and Jimmy Uso, La Night, Jay Uso and Jimmy Uso,
<v Speaker 1>La Night against bron Breaker and Bronson Reid, La Knight
<v Speaker 1>and the Usso's against bron Breaker and Bronson Reid and
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rah Like. There's been so many different combinations of
<v Speaker 1>this and it always ends the same for La Night.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna give you a one guess how it ended tonight.
<v Speaker 1>You chew on that while I move on now. We
<v Speaker 1>got a video package on a decade of Osca in WWE.
<v Speaker 1>I hadn't realized that, but in fact she did debut
<v Speaker 1>in NXT, I guess in twenty fifteen, So a decade
<v Speaker 1>of Osca in this company, and they showed highlights of
<v Speaker 1>her from her undefeated streak in NXT and her Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble win in twenty eighteen, her Money in the Bank
<v Speaker 1>win Elimination Chamber, her various championships. So after that we
<v Speaker 1>got to Adam Pierce's office, Finn Balor and JD McDonough.
<v Speaker 1>They show up and they're looking for a rematch. They
<v Speaker 1>want their tag team titles back, which they lost to
<v Speaker 1>aj Lee on the show last week. And instead he
<v Speaker 1>said they would get a match against a very pissed
<v Speaker 1>off man who was illegally eliminated from the Battle Royal
<v Speaker 1>last week. That being seamous and JD McDonough spoke up says,
<v Speaker 1>I'll take the match, So that match was made official
<v Speaker 1>for later in the show. Thank god it was because
<v Speaker 1>it was actually ended up being the best thing on
<v Speaker 1>the entire show. Then we had Nicki Bella against Roxanne Perez,
<v Speaker 1>which may have been the worst thing on the entire show.
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne mock worshiped Nicki at the beginning here, which earned
<v Speaker 1>her a slap. Roxanne then got caught with a shot
<v Speaker 1>that actually might have legit stunned her for a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>After a commercial, Roxanne hit a running uppercut on Nicki
<v Speaker 1>while she was up against the ropes, and then a
<v Speaker 1>double jump moon salt off the middle rope for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Roxanne cranked away at Nicki's surgically repaired neck.
<v Speaker 1>She had her in a neck vice and then she
<v Speaker 1>went after the back of Nicki's neck with a series
<v Speaker 1>of forearms. Nicki double legged the Roxanne and caught her
<v Speaker 1>with a running boot. Then she hit a version of
<v Speaker 1>the I mean, I guess you would call it a
<v Speaker 1>disaster kick. That's basically what it was, only got a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. She went for her rack attack two point
<v Speaker 1>zero finish. What a name though, for a finish rack
<v Speaker 1>attack two point zero. I feel weird every time I
<v Speaker 1>say that. It's just a it's just not a good name.
<v Speaker 1>But she went for it. Roxanne countered out into a sleeper.
<v Speaker 1>Nicki escaped, Roxanne tripped her up in the ropes just
<v Speaker 1>so she ended up in like a six to one
<v Speaker 1>nine position. I should point out the crowd was deead
<v Speaker 1>dead for this match. Dead. It was like background noise
<v Speaker 1>for whatever they were doing. They were looking on their phones,
<v Speaker 1>going to the bathroom, whatever it was they were doing.
<v Speaker 1>This crowd could not be bothered to care about this match.
<v Speaker 1>It was it was like a funeral in this building.
<v Speaker 1>Nicki hit a spinebuster for a near fall Raquel Rodriguez.
<v Speaker 1>She was outside. She jumped up on the apron, so
<v Speaker 1>Nicky knocked her down. Roxanne caught Nicki with a cradle,
<v Speaker 1>only got a two. Nicki went for a charge in
<v Speaker 1>the corner, Roxanne ducked him. Nicki slammed face first, slammed
<v Speaker 1>herself face first into the middle buckle, and finally Roxanne
<v Speaker 1>got a version of pop Rocks out of the corner.
<v Speaker 1>Not her best pop rocks, but she hit pop Rocks
<v Speaker 1>and she got the pin. That's the most important part
<v Speaker 1>this match. This match was not great. And I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>this and I'm going there's no way Roxanne Perez can
<v Speaker 1>lose this match. If she loses this match, it will
<v Speaker 1>be a miscarriage of justice. At least she won the match.
<v Speaker 1>That's the best thing I could say about it. Now.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel attacked Nikki after the match. She was in trouble
<v Speaker 1>until Stephanie Viquire ran down to make the save. Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>and Raquel had a little bit of a stare down,
<v Speaker 1>and as they're staring down, you see in the background
<v Speaker 1>here comes Nicky Bella. I was just funny the way
<v Speaker 1>she just kind of interjected herself. I guess the idea
<v Speaker 1>was that, you know, Raquel was going to back down
<v Speaker 1>at that point, which she did. She decided to stand down,
<v Speaker 1>and so that was it. This match wasn't very good.
<v Speaker 1>It really was not. And Nicki she just the thing
<v Speaker 1>with Niki is she looks so out of place with
<v Speaker 1>the women in this division, is like she's trying too
<v Speaker 1>hard to fit in. I think that's why I almost
<v Speaker 1>laughed when I'm looking at Stephanie and Raquel in this
<v Speaker 1>face to face and then Nicki just sort of pops up,
<v Speaker 1>like she's trying hard to fit in here. But it
<v Speaker 1>just feels like and she was in many ways, she
<v Speaker 1>was transported from another era here of the women's division
<v Speaker 1>in this company into this one. And there just are
<v Speaker 1>a lot of other women who are in line in
<v Speaker 1>front of her. So, you know, if they want to
<v Speaker 1>use her name, because she has name value, right, she
<v Speaker 1>was the longest reigning Divish champion, and she had success
<v Speaker 1>and she has her fans, and if they want to
<v Speaker 1>use her in a role like this where she's going
<v Speaker 1>to do the honors for people like Roxanne, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that's fine. But this match cheer was not it, This
<v Speaker 1>was not it Now. Last Friday on social media, they
<v Speaker 1>showed the video. Bailey issued a challenge to Charlotte Flair
<v Speaker 1>and Alexa Bliss on behalf of Lyra Valkyria and herself
<v Speaker 1>for the women's tag team titles. Now we come back
<v Speaker 1>live Oscar and Kyrie saying they get on Lyra's case
<v Speaker 1>about the whole thing, because Oscar feels very strongly about
<v Speaker 1>the fact that they deserve the Kabuki Warriors deserve a
<v Speaker 1>shot at the women's tag team titles, and so Lyra's
<v Speaker 1>trying to tell them, Look, I had nothing to do
<v Speaker 1>with this. It's like she didn't even know that Bailey
<v Speaker 1>was going to issue this challenge. So after the Kabukis left,
<v Speaker 1>Bailey showed up with matching tag team jackets she had
<v Speaker 1>won for Lyra as well as herself. Lyra points out,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I've never been in the ring before with
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair, and I've never been in the ring before
<v Speaker 1>with Alexa Bliss and Bailey you know realizes you know
<v Speaker 1>that's right. I guess you haven't been in the ring
<v Speaker 1>with them before. Now she starts to get worried, like
<v Speaker 1>what if we don't win? What if we don't win
<v Speaker 1>the tag team titles? And Lyra has a different take
<v Speaker 1>on things. Her perspective is, yeah, but what if we win?
<v Speaker 1>And Bailey liked that attitude, and then they did some
<v Speaker 1>goofy handshake and they abruptly cut away. Now elsewhere. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>Uso approached Jay Uso backstage, and he was not happy
<v Speaker 1>at all. He took great issue with Jay, saying that
<v Speaker 1>it's just him now. That's what he was saying in
<v Speaker 1>his opening promo. It's all about me now, right, It's
<v Speaker 1>just me oose right. So he doesn't like this whole
<v Speaker 1>attitude that Jay is sporting lately. And he points out
<v Speaker 1>that I saved you twice in the Battle Royal last
<v Speaker 1>week and you dump me out of the ring. And
<v Speaker 1>Jay said, well, it was every man for himself And
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy said the play was that we would eliminate everybody
<v Speaker 1>else and then it would be every man for himself
<v Speaker 1>when it came down to you and me, And Jimmy said,
<v Speaker 1>maybe you were afraid of finding out what would happen
<v Speaker 1>if we had been the last two. Not a lot
<v Speaker 1>of good vibes there between the two brothers. The crowd
<v Speaker 1>reacted to that last line. Again, there's something brewing here.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know which direction they're going with this. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if one's going heel over the other, if
<v Speaker 1>they're both gonna go heal, if no one's going heal.
<v Speaker 1>They want to keep you thinking that something's gonna happen here,
<v Speaker 1>But there's any number of ways they can go with it.
<v Speaker 1>None of them are particularly appealing to me, if I'm
<v Speaker 1>being honest with you. Yeah, the story between Jimmy and
<v Speaker 1>Jay is fine. My fear is that if Jay Uso
<v Speaker 1>ends up with the World Heavyweight Championship, that this story
<v Speaker 1>now has to involve the world title when it doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>And I really think at the end of the day,
<v Speaker 1>they're not going to put the title back on Jay, right.
<v Speaker 1>There's always that possibility they could, but I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they will because this definitely does not need the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship involved. They could tell whatever story they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>tell from within the blood line, right, Jimmy and Jay
<v Speaker 1>and Roman, and it does not have to revolve around
<v Speaker 1>the world title. Jay wants to win the world title back,
<v Speaker 1>but by no means does he actually have to beat
<v Speaker 1>Cmpunk to win the belt back. This Weekend. Now that
<v Speaker 1>brings us to La Knight and Brown Break. During his entrance,
<v Speaker 1>La Night is coming out and he looks up and
<v Speaker 1>he sees a fan in the crowd right there in
<v Speaker 1>the aisleway holding up a sign, and I couldn't tell
<v Speaker 1>it first what the sign said, and then I could see.
<v Speaker 1>He grabs the sign out of the fan's hand and
<v Speaker 1>he shows it to the camera and it says we
<v Speaker 1>want La Knight, not Jay Usso now his luck. He'll
<v Speaker 1>get heat for that. He'll get heat for showing that
<v Speaker 1>sign to the camera. Wade Barrett was very blunt on
<v Speaker 1>commentary about the stakes of this match. Whoever loses will
<v Speaker 1>not be in line for a title shot. After giving
<v Speaker 1>Night a little flurry of offense, Braun ran through La
<v Speaker 1>with a clothesline. This man looked like the Flash when
<v Speaker 1>he's running back and forth like that in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He really does. I'd rather have him over Ezra Miller
<v Speaker 1>in that role. He looked like the fucking Flash going
<v Speaker 1>back and forth. So Knight hit Bron with a drop
<v Speaker 1>kick to the floor heading into a break. During that break,
<v Speaker 1>Bronson redistracted La Night, which allowed Breaker to press slam
<v Speaker 1>him onto the announced desk Breaker was back in control.
<v Speaker 1>After the break was over, he hit an avalanche knee
<v Speaker 1>in the corner suit plex Knight over the ropes to
<v Speaker 1>the floor. Breaker ran halfway around the ring outside and
<v Speaker 1>he hit Knight on the floor with a flying shoulder tackle.
<v Speaker 1>Back inside, Night caught Breaker with a jumping neck breaker
<v Speaker 1>and a pop up power slam and a jumping elbow.
<v Speaker 1>Night went for the bft breaker, though escaped. He went
<v Speaker 1>for the top rope Frankensteiner, but Night slipped out underneath
<v Speaker 1>him and I think he tripped him. And the bump
<v Speaker 1>that bron Breaker took was very, very scary. He basically
<v Speaker 1>just fell. He fell down, but he fell down backwards,
<v Speaker 1>and he took a very nasty spell on the mat,
<v Speaker 1>So the referee immediately went over to check on him.
<v Speaker 1>He was holding the back of his head. I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>Triple H was holding his breath. His life flashed before
<v Speaker 1>his eyes in the back. Oh no, we already have
<v Speaker 1>one man down here. We can't out afford this. He
<v Speaker 1>was okay, but it was a very scary fall. Knight
<v Speaker 1>set up Breaker for a superplex. The Breaker shoved him off,
<v Speaker 1>so Knight ran up the ropes and he hit his megaplex,
<v Speaker 1>that's what he's calling it. Off the top rope for
<v Speaker 1>a near fall. This right here, this last little sequence
<v Speaker 1>here of this match. This is where it kicked up
<v Speaker 1>into the next gear, because I would say the first
<v Speaker 1>half of the match it was all right, but then
<v Speaker 1>there was a point in the match and it was
<v Speaker 1>right around here where it did. And the f also
<v Speaker 1>they were really getting into the near falls and you
<v Speaker 1>could feel like, okay, we've shifted now, right, We've shifted
<v Speaker 1>out of first gear into that next one. So Night
<v Speaker 1>went for the BFT, Breaker escaped again. Bronson redistracted La Knight.
<v Speaker 1>That gave Breaker the opening for the spear, but Night
<v Speaker 1>ducked and Bron went to the floor. Night went after
<v Speaker 1>Reid on the floor and then sent Breaker headfirst into
<v Speaker 1>the announced desk back inside. Breaker tried for a gorilla press,
<v Speaker 1>Knight escaped, He hit a reverse DDT. Night went up
<v Speaker 1>top for an elbow. Breaker kicked up right as Knight
<v Speaker 1>jumped off the ropes. So La Knight rolls through, He
<v Speaker 1>jumps up to his feet, he turns around, and what
<v Speaker 1>happens He runs right into a spear, A great spear
<v Speaker 1>by Bron Breaker, and Breaker gets the pin. So this
<v Speaker 1>turned into a pretty good match. Here turned into a
<v Speaker 1>pretty good match. I didn't like that they booked the
<v Speaker 1>match at all though. That was my gripe with this. See,
<v Speaker 1>I knew as soon as they booked this match, I
<v Speaker 1>knew that the outcome before they even hit the ring,
<v Speaker 1>clear as day. They were not gonna beat bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>And La Knight now was in a position where popular
<v Speaker 1>as he still is, I don't know that Triple H
<v Speaker 1>looks at him as somebody that we have to protect
<v Speaker 1>all the time. There's certain people on the roster they
<v Speaker 1>don't want them to lose, so they'll have some sort
<v Speaker 1>of interference or no contest. Night is not one of
<v Speaker 1>those people. He's been beaten time and time and time
<v Speaker 1>again like a drum. And so of course, if anybody
<v Speaker 1>was gonna win this match, it was not going to
<v Speaker 1>be La Knight. And as Wade Barrett made clear at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the match, whoever wins this match is
<v Speaker 1>gonna be in line. Whoever loses this match is not
<v Speaker 1>going to be in contention for the championship. And so
<v Speaker 1>now we know who is not going to be in
<v Speaker 1>contention for the championship, and that is La Night, And
<v Speaker 1>that's why I would not have booked the match to
<v Speaker 1>begin with. I would not have booked this match to
<v Speaker 1>begin with. La Knight has lost enough matches on this show,
<v Speaker 1>primarily to the vision, to where he can ill afford
<v Speaker 1>to continue eating losses like this. Bron Braker coming out
<v Speaker 1>of that great angle they shot a couple of weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>should be booked. I want to say unstoppable, like he
<v Speaker 1>should be beating everybody in two minutes, but he should
<v Speaker 1>be protected now in a way that they were not
<v Speaker 1>protecting him before. And they went in there and they
<v Speaker 1>had ended up being a really good match, but I
<v Speaker 1>feel like Breaker gave him too much right, So it's
<v Speaker 1>like I wouldn't have booked the match to begin with.
<v Speaker 1>I would have had them or Breaker wrestling somebody else
<v Speaker 1>doing something else. But as soon as the match was made,
<v Speaker 1>it was very clear how this was going to go.
<v Speaker 1>And again, my other issue with it is that it
<v Speaker 1>just feels to me when I was watching them out there,
<v Speaker 1>like I'm watching the show on repeat, because we have
<v Speaker 1>seen some combination of this so many times, going back
<v Speaker 1>to the summer. At what point do they move on
<v Speaker 1>to something else and they have these guys mixing it
<v Speaker 1>up with other faces on the show. It just feels
<v Speaker 1>like the same thing over and over and over again.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the easy thing to fall back on. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we'll just do another match. We'll just have bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>again against La Night. Great, but at what point does
<v Speaker 1>somebody say, you know what, I think we've done this enough,
<v Speaker 1>maybe we should try something a little bit different. The backstage,
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pearce exited his office. He was looking for Dominique
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio and he finds Dom who is chatting with the Americanos.
<v Speaker 1>And Dom explains to Pierce how rusevn Penta, I guess
<v Speaker 1>you know they're gonna have to go after the Americanos. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I had nothing to do with it. I didn't know
<v Speaker 1>they were gonna do that. And Pierce said he didn't
<v Speaker 1>buy it, and he said, actually, you know you mentioned that.
<v Speaker 1>Now they're gonna have to go after the Americanos, Russe
<v Speaker 1>They're both coming after you. And then he made it
<v Speaker 1>official that it's Saturday Night's main event. Don would have
<v Speaker 1>to defend his Intercontinental title in a triple threat match
<v Speaker 1>against Russev and Penta. So that match is official now.
<v Speaker 1>Elsewhere Jimmy and Jay. They meet again. Jimmy's walking and Jay.
<v Speaker 1>He comes across Jay who's just sitting on top of
<v Speaker 1>one of the equipment cases, and Jay tells him, look,
<v Speaker 1>I love you. That's never going to change. Jay says
<v Speaker 1>he's got a lot on his mind and he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of real estate left. It's only got
<v Speaker 1>so much room. I guess up here, right. Jay asked
<v Speaker 1>if they were good. Jimmy said, I feel you. Where's
<v Speaker 1>that super chet? Do you feel him? Sir, yes, he
<v Speaker 1>feels him. So for the time being, the brothers have
<v Speaker 1>made amends. We'll see how long that lasts. We had
<v Speaker 1>Seamus against j D McDonough, who had Finn Balor in
<v Speaker 1>his corner. This was the match of the night right here.
<v Speaker 1>Always good when we get Seamus on the show, he
<v Speaker 1>is always reliable for at least a good match, if
<v Speaker 1>not a great match. Here on these shows we just
<v Speaker 1>don't get enough of them. Seamus brutalized McDonough in the opening.
<v Speaker 1>McDonough clipped his knee and then had a brief advantage,
<v Speaker 1>but McDonogh turned his back on him and so he
<v Speaker 1>got clothes lined out to the floor outside the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Seamus and Balor. They had a brief stare down back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Seamus set up McDonough for the ten beats, but Balor
<v Speaker 1>pulled JD to the floor, so Seamus took both men
<v Speaker 1>down with the diving clothesline off the apron to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Later in the match, McDonough caught Seamus with an Asahi
<v Speaker 1>moon salt on the floor. Back inside, McDonough hit a
<v Speaker 1>four point fifty splash to follow up, only got a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. Mcdonoughh tried kicking and slapping Seamus. All that
<v Speaker 1>did was fire up the Irishman Seamus Florida with a
<v Speaker 1>pair of clotheslines in the Irish Cursed Backbreaker. McDonough escaped
<v Speaker 1>the ten beats again, he caught Seamus with a cradle,
<v Speaker 1>only got two. Seamus finally got McDonough tied up in
<v Speaker 1>the ropes and he got the ten beats, so Seamus
<v Speaker 1>went for the bro kick. McDonough, though, caught him with
<v Speaker 1>a knee. Seamus gave McDonough a crucifix power bomb, but
<v Speaker 1>Balor dove into the ring and not completely, but he dove,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he wasn't like he just reached in and
<v Speaker 1>put his foot on the rope. He basically dove into
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he placed McDonough's foot on the bottom
<v Speaker 1>rope for the break, and there was absolutely no way,
<v Speaker 1>There's no way. But the referee did not see this.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm watching the referee to see if he's going to,
<v Speaker 1>like at least admonish, you know, Balor, and say something
<v Speaker 1>or reject him or whatever. He just acted like he
<v Speaker 1>didn't see a thing. It looked he looked so ridiculous
<v Speaker 1>just the position that he was in. There was no
<v Speaker 1>way that he did not see this man literally dive
<v Speaker 1>into the ring and interfere. But the referee is like, dope,
<v Speaker 1>dupe foot on the rope, foot of the rope, two
<v Speaker 1>count only he looked like a blithering idiot. So, which
<v Speaker 1>is not the first time they've done that with their referees.
<v Speaker 1>As we will know, Seamus dropped to the floor and
<v Speaker 1>he gave Balor a broad kick, so McDonough dove through
<v Speaker 1>the ropes for the save, or the attempted save. Seamus
<v Speaker 1>ended up catching him back inside. Seamus went to the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. Baler though, hit Seamus from behind with Seamus's
<v Speaker 1>own shalaley. Because the referee was preoccupied with JD McDonough.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't see any of this, so Baler waxed him
<v Speaker 1>with the sale. Seamus is basically out on top now,
<v Speaker 1>and then McDonough brings Seamus all the way down to
<v Speaker 1>the mat with the top rope Spanish fly and he
<v Speaker 1>pins Shamus. That's an upset right there, even with the
<v Speaker 1>assist from Balor, still JD McDonagh getting a pinfall win
<v Speaker 1>over Seamus. I would consider that to be an upset.
<v Speaker 1>Wade Barrett sold this as the biggest singles win of
<v Speaker 1>McDonough's career, which is probably true, and this was an
<v Speaker 1>excellent match. We need more Shamus on these shows. He's
<v Speaker 1>not presently involved in any specific program or feute or
<v Speaker 1>anything like that, and they really need to start to
<v Speaker 1>get something going with him. I think he should be
<v Speaker 1>a more constant maybe not every week, but he should
<v Speaker 1>be a more constant presence on these shows. I kind
<v Speaker 1>of feel like, you know, at this point, he's almost
<v Speaker 1>in that Randy Orton role. And I know Randy Orton
<v Speaker 1>has a very particular schedule, probably built into his contract
<v Speaker 1>so that he has, you know, a certain number of
<v Speaker 1>days off, But like Randy Orton will show up for
<v Speaker 1>a week or two and then we won't see him
<v Speaker 1>again for weeks and weeks on end, Like we're in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of that right now. I think the last
<v Speaker 1>time we saw Randy Orton may have been early September, right,
<v Speaker 1>and then he just disappears. So when I talk about like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>we got to get something with Cody and Randy, it's
<v Speaker 1>like it's hard because if he's not going to be around,
<v Speaker 1>then you can't do it. Or is he just not
<v Speaker 1>around because the time is not right and they're waiting right,
<v Speaker 1>they're waiting for some kind of an angle for him,
<v Speaker 1>and then he'll be around more frequently. Seamus is very
<v Speaker 1>much the same way, where he'll show up, he'll be
<v Speaker 1>in a Battle Royal or he'll be in a match,
<v Speaker 1>and he had that program with Russev and they had
<v Speaker 1>a whole series and then he vanished and then we
<v Speaker 1>may not see Seamus on the show for three, four
<v Speaker 1>or five weeks. So it could be tough to get
<v Speaker 1>something going, but I think it's worth it to get
<v Speaker 1>him involved in some solid story because he does at
<v Speaker 1>least in ring. He is someone who elevates the show
<v Speaker 1>every time he is on it, and he's in that
<v Speaker 1>ring and you ring that bell, you know what you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna get out of him. I mean, he is one
<v Speaker 1>of the most consistent performers they have on that brand,
<v Speaker 1>So hopefully they can find something for him to do.
<v Speaker 1>And maybe it doesn't involve the Intercontinental title right now.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's still like the big story for him.
<v Speaker 1>I hope they're saving that for you know, maybe a
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania or something. But yeah, I definitely need to get
<v Speaker 1>more of him on these shows. Last week, Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 1>got jobbed out by referee Jessica Carr again during her
<v Speaker 1>match with Maxine Dupree we Come Back Live. Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>is talking to Maxine. Tells Maxine that after beating Becky
<v Speaker 1>twice now, once by count out and then that last
<v Speaker 1>match which was for the title and Becky got herself disqualified,
<v Speaker 1>she's earned another crack at the Intercontinental Championship. Maxine is
<v Speaker 1>grateful for the opportunity, but she actually is a little
<v Speaker 1>bit She has this look on her face like, you
<v Speaker 1>know what, I don't know if now's the right time.
<v Speaker 1>And Pierce is like, well, you don't want the shot,
<v Speaker 1>and she said, no, no, no, I want the shot,
<v Speaker 1>and I've earned it and absolutely I want it, but
<v Speaker 1>she says, I don't want it to go to waste
<v Speaker 1>before I get it. I want to call a friend
<v Speaker 1>and make sure that I'm ready for whatever comes my way.
<v Speaker 1>And Pierce tells her, okay, you call me whenever you're ready,
<v Speaker 1>and they shake on it. What is this? Who wants
<v Speaker 1>to be a millionaire? I have to phone a friend.
<v Speaker 1>You've been gifted a championship match. Oh, you know what.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that, but not yet. Let's just wait a
<v Speaker 1>little bit on that. What the fuck? Now? We know
<v Speaker 1>that she's friends with Natty, but we haven't seen Natty
<v Speaker 1>on TV and forever. What difference would that make? I
<v Speaker 1>need to go talk to a friend, and then Natty
<v Speaker 1>shows him nobody's gonna care. It feels like a way
<v Speaker 1>to maybe reintroduce aj Lee. We have not seen aj
<v Speaker 1>Lee since wresselled Paloozo, So that feels to me like
<v Speaker 1>aj maybe the friend that she's referring to now elsewhere.
<v Speaker 1>Jackie Redmond interviewed the women's tag team champions who were
<v Speaker 1>in the main event tonight, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss,
<v Speaker 1>and she is talking about how the champions have been
<v Speaker 1>accepting all comers, all challenges coming their way, and tonight
<v Speaker 1>is no exception. But she wanted to know why would
<v Speaker 1>you take this match on such short notice like this,
<v Speaker 1>such an impromptu match, and Alexis says that we don't
<v Speaker 1>back down from challenges. Charlotte says that they're two wins
<v Speaker 1>away from having the most women's tag team title defenses
<v Speaker 1>in history. Oscar and Kyrie walk in and Osca talks
<v Speaker 1>about how they deserve the titles. Charlotte says, Osca, I
<v Speaker 1>know I've beaten you a lot, but we would be
<v Speaker 1>honored to face you guys and put our titles on
<v Speaker 1>the line against you. And so Oscar storms off, and
<v Speaker 1>of course, poor Kyrie, Poor Kyrie gets yelled at. Off
<v Speaker 1>she goes, and off we go to another backstage segment.
<v Speaker 1>AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Aj Lee, the new World
<v Speaker 1>Tag Team Champions, are talking to Adam Pierce and Styles
<v Speaker 1>says that, look, we want to face any deserving team
<v Speaker 1>that you feel is worthy of a shot at these titles,
<v Speaker 1>like you know, basically put us in coach. You know
<v Speaker 1>we're ready to play. We want to defend these titles.
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor and JD McDonagh show up. Obviously, they want
<v Speaker 1>to rematch for the titles, and AJ says, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, we accept we want this match, and
<v Speaker 1>Pierce says, well, if you want the match, I'll make
<v Speaker 1>it official for next week. So we are getting a
<v Speaker 1>tag team championship rematch on the show next week. And
<v Speaker 1>they close the show with the women's tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defending the belts against Bailey
<v Speaker 1>and Lyra Valkyria. This was the fifth title defense for
<v Speaker 1>the champions again. I guess they're two away from setting
<v Speaker 1>a record that nobody really cares about, but good for them.
<v Speaker 1>Bliss and Bailey, they started out. Charlotte got a blind
<v Speaker 1>tag and caught Bailey with a clothesline. Bliss got the
<v Speaker 1>tag again and took Bailey down with the head scissors.
<v Speaker 1>The fans brought out the fireflies on their phones. Valkyrius
<v Speaker 1>sent Flair to the floor, followed her out with a
<v Speaker 1>basement dropped kick through the ropes. After a commercial break,
<v Speaker 1>Bailey got a tag and she held Bliss up in
<v Speaker 1>a fireman's carry so that Lyra could come off the
<v Speaker 1>ropes and hit a running blockbuster. Bliss came back with
<v Speaker 1>a double ddet to both Bailey and Lyra. So Flair
<v Speaker 1>got the Now I wouldn't I was gonna say hot tag,
<v Speaker 1>but it wasn't so much that she got the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>It was more like she got the mild tag because
<v Speaker 1>at this point I wouldn't say the crab was going
<v Speaker 1>crazy for this match. Yeah, but they were. They were
<v Speaker 1>cheering for Charlotte and they were, you know, mildly happy
<v Speaker 1>that she got the tag here. So she came into
<v Speaker 1>the match. She came off the top of a big
<v Speaker 1>cross body block. Off the top, Flair delivered a pair
<v Speaker 1>of fallaway slams and then hit both challengers with the
<v Speaker 1>moon Salt. Charlotte went for the cover of Lyra. She
<v Speaker 1>got a shoulder up in two, so Charlotte sent Bailey
<v Speaker 1>to the floor with a big boot. Valkyria caught her
<v Speaker 1>with a leg lariot. Bailey fired up. She was demanding
<v Speaker 1>a tag. Oh we're getting the other Bailey here, So
<v Speaker 1>Bailey tags in. She hit an elbow off the middle
<v Speaker 1>ropes onto Charlotte. Then she rushed over and dropped kicked
<v Speaker 1>Alexa off the apron, and then she caught Charlotte with
<v Speaker 1>the belly to Bailey. Only got a near fall out
<v Speaker 1>of it. Bliss got a blind tag. Lyra got the
<v Speaker 1>tag as well and ran right into a sister Abigail
<v Speaker 1>DDT from Alexa. They got a big pot crab pop
<v Speaker 1>big for that. Bailey, though, made the safe Bailey and
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte they fought on the floor. Bliss came off the
<v Speaker 1>top of the crossbody onto Lyra. Lyra caught her and
<v Speaker 1>turned it into her night wing finish, only for a
<v Speaker 1>near fall, though after Charlotte made it back into the
<v Speaker 1>ring barely in time to break up the fall that
<v Speaker 1>was actually a very good near fall. Charlotte and Bailey
<v Speaker 1>they each got tagged in officially and Bailey landed a
<v Speaker 1>ths press. The two women brawled until Charlotte floored Bailey
<v Speaker 1>with a big boot. She ate all of that and
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte locked on the figure eight, and just as it
<v Speaker 1>seemed like Bailey might tap out, Lyra crawls into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and she grabs Bailey's hand before she can do
<v Speaker 1>so to prevent her from tapping out. Now, as Lyra
<v Speaker 1>is laying there, her back is exposed. She has no
<v Speaker 1>idea that Alexa Bliss is setting up for Twisted Bliss.
<v Speaker 1>She comes off the top and lands right across Lyra's back.
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte and Alexa they each gave each other a little
<v Speaker 1>nod and then they hit stereo natural selections and Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>got the pin on Bailey to retain the women's tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles. Yes, Arizona Zombie, says the Fiendus the Fiendus
<v Speaker 1>to start that again, She's the Fiendus. Well, the Fiendus
<v Speaker 1>and the Queen. They are still the world tag team
<v Speaker 1>champions in the women's division. Here. After the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>the Kabuki Warriors ran and the only shocking thing about
<v Speaker 1>this is that we actually got a clean finish. I
<v Speaker 1>thought for sure that Oscar and Kyrie in those segments
<v Speaker 1>we saw earlier in the night were setting up them
<v Speaker 1>interfering in the finish so they could protect both teams.
<v Speaker 1>I'm happy we got a legitimate finish here. And they
<v Speaker 1>waited until the match was over. Then the Kabukis came
<v Speaker 1>in to go on the attack. Oscar held Flair in
<v Speaker 1>position for Kyrie to hit a standing insane elbow off
<v Speaker 1>the top. Then they targeted Lyra. Bailey, though stood them
<v Speaker 1>down and the Kabuki's back down while Bailey tended to
<v Speaker 1>Lyra and the Tag Team champions sold on the floor
<v Speaker 1>outside as the show came to a close. Very good
<v Speaker 1>main event, and I thought that coming into it, I
<v Speaker 1>thought they were going to end with a heel turn
<v Speaker 1>with Bailey turning on Lyra. That's why I thought they
<v Speaker 1>were closing the show with this. I thought that's what
<v Speaker 1>we were setting up for. This was their big tag
<v Speaker 1>team championship opportunity, and they were going to blow it,
<v Speaker 1>and then we were gonna get, you know, the bad
<v Speaker 1>side of Bailey and she was gonna have a meltdown
<v Speaker 1>on Lyra. So I was I was a little surprised
<v Speaker 1>we didn't get that. I do wonder if they're saving
<v Speaker 1>that maybe for wargames. Remember all those years ago in
<v Speaker 1>NXT when Dakota Kai came out of or Dakota kak
<v Speaker 1>now what it was was Dakota Kai came out of
<v Speaker 1>one of the cages, and then it was Tigan Knox
<v Speaker 1>and she attacked Teagan and it was this great out
<v Speaker 1>of nowhere turn and you had Mara Ronalo on commentary
<v Speaker 1>just freaking out, losing his mind. There are ways that
<v Speaker 1>you could do a turn, you know, in like a
<v Speaker 1>War Games match and make it this big dramatic thing.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe that's what they're saving it for. Maybe it happens
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor series. But speaking of wargames, it does feel
<v Speaker 1>like this was the start of the slow build to
<v Speaker 1>whatever that match is going to be. Yeah, I was
<v Speaker 1>trying to think of, like, Okay, what what is the
<v Speaker 1>configuration of these teams going to look like? And you
<v Speaker 1>look at what they did here, and I could see
<v Speaker 1>a situation where Bailey and Lyra end up tagging with
<v Speaker 1>the Kabuki Warriors. You know, maybe it's a situation where
<v Speaker 1>again you get different versions of Bailey here. You can
<v Speaker 1>get baby Face Bailey, Psycho Bailey, and maybe Bailey convinces Lyra,
<v Speaker 1>who's you know, not convinced that this is what they
<v Speaker 1>should be doing. But somehow they end up on the
<v Speaker 1>same not that they go heal and then join with
<v Speaker 1>the Kabookie Warriors, but that they end up on the
<v Speaker 1>same side. So you would get Oscar, Kyrie, Bailey, Lyra,
<v Speaker 1>you know, all on one team together, and maybe they
<v Speaker 1>wrestle Charlotte, Alexa, Rhea and EO. And then if you
<v Speaker 1>want it to be five on five, maybe they shoehorn
<v Speaker 1>Becky and aj Lee into the match, and then you
<v Speaker 1>get five on five and you could have Becky, maybe
<v Speaker 1>Becky leading one team and then you know, aj could
<v Speaker 1>sort of be leading the other. Maybe that's the play here.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, so we'll see, but I mean clearly they,
<v Speaker 1>you know, left us with the idea that War Games
<v Speaker 1>is beginning to take shape here. I thought the first
<v Speaker 1>half of this show was largely boring and the second
<v Speaker 1>half was better. It was very much helped by the
<v Speaker 1>fact that we had a bunch of good matches. That
<v Speaker 1>really is what carried the day here for this show.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they're still playing out the story with Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>and Jay, and you can see some of these stories
<v Speaker 1>playing out the problem with RAW right now. And it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't help that they were missing some people like Ria
<v Speaker 1>Ripley wasn't there, Eosky wasn't there, Punk was there. He
<v Speaker 1>barely did anything again. Aj Lee came back and she
<v Speaker 1>hasn't been on the show since Russell Palooza. John Seen
<v Speaker 1>is not gonna be on the show for a few
<v Speaker 1>more weeks. Roman Rains is gone, getting ready for that
<v Speaker 1>next big return is Roman Reins. So that doesn't help
<v Speaker 1>the problem with RAW right now. There's just not a
<v Speaker 1>whole lot to get excited about. Honestly, this show feels
<v Speaker 1>very dead. Thankfully we had Seamus and JD McDonagh. Hat
<v Speaker 1>Thankfully we had a very good tag team main event,
<v Speaker 1>because in the absence of that, if we're just relying
<v Speaker 1>on the stories here to carry the day this week, boy,
<v Speaker 1>this would have been this would not have been good.
<v Speaker 1>That's my issue with RAW right now. Now. This Saturday
<v Speaker 1>is Saturday Night's main event. This is the card as
<v Speaker 1>it currently stands. This may end up being the final card.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that they're gonna add anything on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>I thought they were gonna Eddio Sky against Oscar one
<v Speaker 1>on one, and instead we're getting a triple threat Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>title on the line, Dominic, Mysterio Penta and Russev. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think dom is losing that championship. I think he
<v Speaker 1>aks by with a win and he retains. That's my prediction.
<v Speaker 1>There we have Jade car Gill who did just go heel.
<v Speaker 1>She's challenging Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't see any outcome here other than Jade wins
<v Speaker 1>the title. She just went heel on Friday. She's already
<v Speaker 1>lost before to Tiffany. Tiffany has been dominant the entire year.
<v Speaker 1>Literally one loss the entire year for Tiffany Stratton and
<v Speaker 1>that was the loss to Stephanie at Crown Jewel. She
<v Speaker 1>has to lose. It's time. The time has come. I
<v Speaker 1>don't even care what you think about whether or not
<v Speaker 1>Jade should be the champion. She's ready to be the champion.
<v Speaker 1>The only outcome here that really makes sense, the only outcome,
<v Speaker 1>the correct outcome year, is Tiffany loses that championship, So
<v Speaker 1>Jade's gonna win the title. On that show, we have
<v Speaker 1>the world heavyweight Champion being decided between CM Punk and
<v Speaker 1>Jay Uso. You know, I'm sitting here and I'm like, boy,
<v Speaker 1>who do I want to win this match? Neither one
<v Speaker 1>of these guys. If I'm being honest, I don't have
<v Speaker 1>a favorite here, like, oh, I want this guy to win.
<v Speaker 1>I want that. I want either one of these guys
<v Speaker 1>to win, honestly, Not now, not you know, Punk, Not now.
<v Speaker 1>I'm pulling for the Bronze to show up, good old
<v Speaker 1>Bronze Breaker. I will see if they give us a
<v Speaker 1>new world champion. Though it's gonna be cm Punk and
<v Speaker 1>then we have the WWE Championship. Cody Rhodes defends against
<v Speaker 1>Drew McIntyre and I talked about this on Sunday. If
<v Speaker 1>we are gonna get a new world champion crowned, and
<v Speaker 1>if Jade car Gill is gonna win the women's title,
<v Speaker 1>I don't see them changing all. Now, Dom's not gonna lose,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't see them doing a third title change
<v Speaker 1>in the Cody and Drew match, so I feel like
<v Speaker 1>Cody is retaining. I think Drew should win. I want
<v Speaker 1>Drew to win. Drew is my favorite to win here.
<v Speaker 1>Do I think Drew is going to win? I don't,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know where he goes from here. If
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't, that's the only thing. If he goes in
<v Speaker 1>there and loses, would he why would he even get
<v Speaker 1>another shot? At that point? He already lost clean and
<v Speaker 1>Wressell Palooza. So you beat him again here and he's
<v Speaker 1>pretty much dead in the water. But you got Survivor
<v Speaker 1>series coming up. So if they're going to run this
<v Speaker 1>back again, or maybe Randy Orton comes back, they make
<v Speaker 1>it a triple threat. Something has to happen here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. On Saturday. So ideally Drew McIntyre would win
<v Speaker 1>the championship. But boy, if Jade is winning and Punk
<v Speaker 1>is taking that title home, I don't see them changing
<v Speaker 1>the title here in this match. I just don't. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think they're going to do it. But I'll be
<v Speaker 1>live when the show is over. I'll be live talking
<v Speaker 1>about the whole thing. Hopefully you guys will will join me.
<v Speaker 1>Take a look at the Twitter poll. What did you
<v Speaker 1>think of Raw? Here from Anaheim sixty six percent thumbs
<v Speaker 1>up for tonight's show, thirty four percent thumbs down. Could
<v Speaker 1>vote at Solo Monster just hipped thirty nine thousand followers
<v Speaker 1>on x That is where you can find the poll
<v Speaker 1>and you can vote. Let me know what you thought
<v Speaker 1>of tonight's show. Yeah, Zachary says, I think Punk wins
<v Speaker 1>the title, but will not have it for very long.
<v Speaker 1>If he wins the title, I suspect that you are correct,
<v Speaker 1>you will not have it for very long. Although if
<v Speaker 1>he wins it, then I don't think that title is
<v Speaker 1>being defended as survivor series because he's probably a war games.
<v Speaker 1>That baseball game is still on top of the eleventh inning. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was over by now must be a
<v Speaker 1>hell of a game. Let's go through your messages here.
<v Speaker 1>You can still get your super chats on in I
<v Speaker 1>will be reading them here. And also, we are currently
<v Speaker 1>at three hundred and twenty eight likes, so four hundred
<v Speaker 1>is the goal if we are to do be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker tonight, So let's try to get those likes up. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Joseph Stewart, what are your thoughts on Dominic Mysterio's Triple
<v Speaker 1>A run. I think it's great. I think it's great
<v Speaker 1>exposure for him. I think watching him go down there, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they were in Mexico City this past week, and the
<v Speaker 1>way that he is treated by those crowds, he comes
<v Speaker 1>off as a total superstar. He's like a rock star
<v Speaker 1>down there. He's going down there and having kick ass matches.
<v Speaker 1>He had a great match with Dragonly, So I think
<v Speaker 1>it's one wonders for him. Joseph says, what was Undertaker's
<v Speaker 1>gimmick based off him? His gimmick was based off of
<v Speaker 1>the old Undertakers from the old the Old West, the
<v Speaker 1>old Western Undertakers, only he was a bit more supernatural
<v Speaker 1>than they were. But that was sort of the bet. Then,
<v Speaker 1>the basis for it Joseph says, buy or sell clay
<v Speaker 1>Face or Killer Croc? Killer Croc? Were you a fan
<v Speaker 1>of the Mad Max movies? I was not? Also, rest
<v Speaker 1>in peace to actress June Lockhart, she was one hundred. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's what everybody should aspire to get to.
<v Speaker 1>You want to at least get to that centennial birthday,
<v Speaker 1>you know. Isn't that what I think? Bob bark was
<v Speaker 1>one hundred, right, did Bob Barker? I think he reached
<v Speaker 1>one hundred when he passed away. Look at that, he
<v Speaker 1>made it to one dollar without going over. Joseph says,
<v Speaker 1>were you a fan of Jim Carrey as the Grinch? Now?
<v Speaker 1>I was a fan of Jim Carrey as the Mask.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't really bother with the Grinch. Have you read
<v Speaker 1>the Batman origin story Batman Year one? No? I do
<v Speaker 1>have a copy of the Killing Joke somewhere that I
<v Speaker 1>did not read. Dried Chicken wwe is a mint chocolate company?
<v Speaker 1>AW is an almond Joy? An almond Joy? You say,
<v Speaker 1>also Bob Barker was ninety nine? Okay, Well, he made
<v Speaker 1>it as close as he could to one hundred without
<v Speaker 1>going over. See look at that. It was just meant
<v Speaker 1>to be. Also, move Carmelo Hayes to raw or let
<v Speaker 1>him walk. Yeah, I don't know what they're doing with him.
<v Speaker 1>He's still stuck with the Miz. It's just it's just ridiculous. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>pick one faction to help you in a zombie apocalypse.
<v Speaker 1>I'll go with the Ministry, the Ministry of Darkness, right Chicken,
<v Speaker 1>says t kowwe j USO plus yeat plus utah equals
<v Speaker 1>j y tah. I'm surprised they don't put together some
<v Speaker 1>lame t shirt like that like they did for Damian
<v Speaker 1>priez It's web by time. Yeah, why don't they do that?
<v Speaker 1>They should have had a j y tah right. They
<v Speaker 1>had these custom shirts for brock lesnar Suplex City, they
<v Speaker 1>would have a different one for different cities. They could
<v Speaker 1>do some lame shirt for jay Us super pun what's
<v Speaker 1>going on? Super Pony? Thank you for the Love? Says
<v Speaker 1>Does Paul not like the fact that La Knight got
<v Speaker 1>over organically on his own? Or is he just a
<v Speaker 1>bald fraud that has no idea what he's doing. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>there is a little bit of professional jealousy there. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, Ory could be a bald fraud. That's possible too.
<v Speaker 1>That's like the go to phrase now ever since Punk
<v Speaker 1>used it on The Rock called him a bald fraud.
<v Speaker 1>Now Triple H is a bald fraud, The Rock is
<v Speaker 1>a bald fraud. Ricochet is a bald fraud, or he's
<v Speaker 1>just bald. We got b man. The champ is with us.
<v Speaker 1>Two questions, two questions, one word, uh huh now two questions.
<v Speaker 1>One do you think maybe Jimmy might have been right
<v Speaker 1>when he said that he was afraid that Jay would
<v Speaker 1>become like Roman back in twenty twenty three? Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that's kind of the story they're playing off
<v Speaker 1>of here. And also, has anyone ever told you that
<v Speaker 1>you look like Brian Danielson pre ww No, I've never
<v Speaker 1>heard that before. That's the first time I've ever heard that.
<v Speaker 1>WEPA also means wow, So okay, that's even worse. It's
<v Speaker 1>like having a shirt that says that says it's wow time.
<v Speaker 1>What a just what a what an absolutely just lame company.
<v Speaker 1>Some of the merch they put out, Man Jeremy Rose,
<v Speaker 1>you don't see a j heel title run CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>winning is lazy. He needs to win at chamber or WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>Either way, La Knight needs a nice feud with the winner,
<v Speaker 1>even though I know Bron is the end result Bron
<v Speaker 1>and Punk at wrestle Media. To me, Bron and Punk
<v Speaker 1>is not a wrestle Media match. Bron and Roman reigns
<v Speaker 1>is a WrestleMania match. I don't think Bron Breaker and
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk honestly is the WrestleMania man. And No, I
<v Speaker 1>don't want a Jay Heel title run. You want to
<v Speaker 1>give Jay He'll run, that's fine. He'al title run. I
<v Speaker 1>have no interest in. I don't care if the story
<v Speaker 1>is there for it. That's not a story I care
<v Speaker 1>to see them tell. Today's episode is sponsored by Better Help.
<v Speaker 1>You know, World Mental Health Day recently passed on October tenth,
<v Speaker 1>But just because that day may have come and gone
<v Speaker 1>doesn't mean we can't take a moment to say thank
<v Speaker 1>you to all the therapists out there. Better Help therapists
<v Speaker 1>have helped over five million people worldwide on their mental
<v Speaker 1>health journeys, whether it be coping with a loss in
<v Speaker 1>their life or finding out how to become a better
<v Speaker 1>version of themselves. Better Help is honoring those connections and
<v Speaker 1>the therapists who make them possible and is showing just
<v Speaker 1>how easy it is to get guidance from a licensed
<v Speaker 1>therapist online. I've used Better Help myself in the past
<v Speaker 1>for something that I would consider minor, but you'd be
<v Speaker 1>surprised how quickly something minor it could turn into something
<v Speaker 1>major if left untreated. For me, it was incredibly helpful
<v Speaker 1>just to have someone to talk to, and for that
<v Speaker 1>I will say thank you as well. And if it
<v Speaker 1>helped me, I know it can help you too. Finding
<v Speaker 1>the right therapists can be life changing, and Better Help
<v Speaker 1>makes that process simple. They do the initial matching work
<v Speaker 1>for you so that you can focus on your therapy goals.
<v Speaker 1>You fill out a short questionnaire that helps identify your
<v Speaker 1>needs and preferences, and their twelve plus years of experience
<v Speaker 1>and industry leading match fulfillment rate mean they usually get
<v Speaker 1>it right the first time, but if for any reason
<v Speaker 1>you're not happy with your match, you can switch to
<v Speaker 1>a different therapist at any time, and all Better Help
<v Speaker 1>therapists work according to a strict code of conduct and
<v Speaker 1>are fully licensed in the US. As the world's largest
<v Speaker 1>online therapy platform with over thirty thousand therapists, Better Help

<v Speaker 1>com slash solom Monster. Uh dude, here's seventy three. How
<v Speaker 1>tilted was Goldberg after the Oscar tribute tonight? Oh, you're
<v Speaker 1>implying that Goldberg was actually watching Monday Night Raw. Goldberg
<v Speaker 1>does not like wrestling. Goldberg does not give a shit
<v Speaker 1>about wrestling. Goldberg does not give a shit about the product.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't watch it, he doesn't follow it, he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>pay attention to it. He's in his garage with his cars,
<v Speaker 1>enjoying himself. So I don't think he was bothered by
<v Speaker 1>it at all because he didn't see it. I can
<v Speaker 1>only assume he's morphed into Gulberg in a fit of
<v Speaker 1>rage after being reminded that his streak was broken in
<v Speaker 1>his own words, by some Japanese girl. Yeah again, you
<v Speaker 1>would think after the second or third time he brings
<v Speaker 1>this up in an interview that he would at least
<v Speaker 1>learn the woman's name. Thank you dude. Here, Brian Keith says,
<v Speaker 1>another tired trope face comes out with the title belt
<v Speaker 1>to help the other face from getting beaten down, only
<v Speaker 1>to drop it before getting in the ring. There's so
<v Speaker 1>many of them. I tried to cover like all the
<v Speaker 1>ones that really annoy me, and then like when I
<v Speaker 1>was done, I was like, man, I left out like
<v Speaker 1>at least five. I'll try to get that segment up
<v Speaker 1>on the channel tomorrow though it's one for the ages.
<v Speaker 1>Duffs Vid says, what happens after you eat alphabet soup?
<v Speaker 1>You have a vowel movement? Might have been your best
<v Speaker 1>one in a while. Also, what kind of clothes does
<v Speaker 1>a housewear? Address? All right, I'll give I'll give you
<v Speaker 1>that one address address. Hey, Giro Sanchez, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>the dollar ninety nine and Oz Glorious says, yikes, Cempunk
<v Speaker 1>looks like the sixty two year old love child the
<v Speaker 1>Beavis and butt head with the hair. His hair is
<v Speaker 1>getting taller. You ever noticed that. I guess selling out
<v Speaker 1>every shred of integrity you have for Riodd's season will
<v Speaker 1>aid you. It's the hair. I'm telling you, it's the hair.
<v Speaker 1>His hair adds like three inches now to his height.
<v Speaker 1>It's all poofed up like that. It's amazing. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>a good point. You know, the whole Goldberg streak thing was.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of silly just because WCW started to embellish
<v Speaker 1>his wind streak, like he didn't actually rack up one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and seventy three or one hundred and seventy four wins.
<v Speaker 1>It's a fake number. It was real up until the
<v Speaker 1>point then they just started like, oh he went. They
<v Speaker 1>just like they were having all these house shows that
<v Speaker 1>they weren't having, and they jacked the number up. So
<v Speaker 1>it's not even a legitimate number. So that girl beat
<v Speaker 1>his streak a lot earlier than one hundred and seventy three.
<v Speaker 1>And oh you like the soup joke, kind of duffs.
<v Speaker 1>Your soup joke is getting a lot of love here
<v Speaker 1>in the chat. You got a vowel movement, Ozen glorious
<v Speaker 1>fifty three months of membership acknowledged me and hit like Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we're at three seventy eight, so we fall a little
<v Speaker 1>bit short tonight, and Dynamite is not always the night
<v Speaker 1>to hit the goal. But if you want it to
<v Speaker 1>be this week, you're gonna have to be here with
<v Speaker 1>me on Wednesday night because that's the next time I'm
<v Speaker 1>live here on this channel with you, will be for
<v Speaker 1>the aw Dynamite post show Tomorrow night. I'll be over
<v Speaker 1>with JD on his channel for episode one eighteen I
<v Speaker 1>believe it's one eighteen of We've done so many of
<v Speaker 1>them of Tuesday Night Titans, the best co hosted two
<v Speaker 1>man show at all of pro wrestling YouTube, and then
<v Speaker 1>live here again on Friday night for SmackDown, and as
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned earlier, I will be live as well for
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event not on NBC Peacock Exclusive Peacock
<v Speaker 1>in the US. I don't know what's going on internationally,
<v Speaker 1>if it's still on YouTube, if they're putting it on Netflix,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm hearing conflicting things about that. I'm not sure.
<v Speaker 1>Says it's not the hair, it's the missing teeth, gaunt face,
<v Speaker 1>and Walter White Walter White product bags, but he's always
<v Speaker 1>had bags under his eyes to go with the leather
<v Speaker 1>skin and faded tats. He's had bags under his eyes
<v Speaker 1>as long as he's been in the wrestling business. They've
<v Speaker 1>only gotten more pronounced as he's gotten older. I can't
<v Speaker 1>remember a time where Ceampunk did not have bags under
<v Speaker 1>his eyes. Oscar says he's excited to visit New York
<v Speaker 1>City in just a few weeks, So you're smart. You're
<v Speaker 1>getting in before the tree goes up and the city
<v Speaker 1>gets all crazed with people who come in for the holidays.
<v Speaker 1>Get in now, in now before it gets crazy. Before
<v Speaker 1>you know what, the tree will be up Rockefeller Center
<v Speaker 1>of people will be ice skating around. It's hard to
<v Speaker 1>ice skate in Rockefeller Center when it's fucking sixty degrees
<v Speaker 1>outside like it was today. So oh man, all right, AZ,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the pair of super chats here, and
<v Speaker 1>it does look like we hit our goal just in
<v Speaker 1>the nick of time. Here, Mike says he's solo. Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night's main event is on Netflix here in Ontario, Canada,
<v Speaker 1>so there it is there you go, at least in Canada.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's the same for the UK
<v Speaker 1>and other places, but yes, that is the update on
<v Speaker 1>Saturday night's main event. And now that we have hit
<v Speaker 1>the goal, we can, in fact be the booker. Ladies
<v Speaker 1>and gentlemen, How do you like that? Now? Time to
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. Almost didn't make it, almost didn't make it,
<v Speaker 1>but we got it in. It's gonna be sixty five
<v Speaker 1>degrees here in New York on Thursday. It's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>raining all day. It's like ninety five percent chance of rain,
<v Speaker 1>but it's gonna be sixty five or sixty three. I
<v Speaker 1>forgot the last update on the day before Halloween, all right,
<v Speaker 1>So we begin with our tag team round. We have
<v Speaker 1>the acclaimed as they scissor each other. Here we have
<v Speaker 1>Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, who are in the process
<v Speaker 1>of being reunited on AW television. So let's see who
<v Speaker 1>the acclaimed is gonna be stepping into the ring. Who
<v Speaker 1>will they be scissoring? Who will the acclaim be scissoring? Here,
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna be scissoring Hulk Hogan, hul Cogan and Edge
<v Speaker 1>are going to be scissored by the acclaimed. Otani is
<v Speaker 1>at the plate? Are we about to get some baseball
<v Speaker 1>magic from Otani? I think he tied the game, didn't he?
<v Speaker 1>This guy's unbelievable edge would be down. Here we go,
<v Speaker 1>Women's be the Booker. We have Mercedes Monet. I believe
<v Speaker 1>that belt that she is wearing in this image is
<v Speaker 1>the It's got to be the IWGP Women's Championship, right,
<v Speaker 1>one of the many championships that she has held, although
<v Speaker 1>not at the moment. But we have Mercedes Monet gonna
<v Speaker 1>go one on one with Jade Cargill, the woman whose
<v Speaker 1>record she just defeated. She just broke. Jade's record is
<v Speaker 1>the longest reigning TBS champion in AEW history, and now
<v Speaker 1>we will get them in the ring together one on one.
<v Speaker 1>Mercedes needs to go after the Regina D Wave title.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, that's going back. That's going back aways
<v Speaker 1>the Regina D Wave Championship. I forgot about that. What
<v Speaker 1>was that? Twenty twenty one Dynamite the good old days?
<v Speaker 1>All right, it's made eventime, baby. We got Bobby Rude,
<v Speaker 1>the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, the former NXT champion.
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Rude is in the main event of Be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker and he will be stepping into the ring with him.
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes, what do we think about? This is our
<v Speaker 1>main event, Bobby Rude against Carmelo Hayes. I'm giving that
<v Speaker 1>the bell. That is a clean sweet, folks. It may
<v Speaker 1>not be the most star studded main event that we've
<v Speaker 1>ever booked, but that's a solid ass main event right there.
<v Speaker 1>And that the under the buzzer, no list. We did
<v Speaker 1>this be the booker and we got ourselves a clean sweet.
<v Speaker 1>So how about that. I was not expecting that, but
<v Speaker 1>it all worked out and super pony. This company can't
<v Speaker 1>make it any more obvious who their handpick guys are.
<v Speaker 1>What does Breaker have that Mellow and Knight don't. Well,
<v Speaker 1>like you said, I mean, he was hand picked from
<v Speaker 1>day one, from the moment he showed up in NXT
<v Speaker 1>two point zero, and funny enough, I think the very
<v Speaker 1>first segment in the back where he showed up I
<v Speaker 1>believe was he shared the screen in that segment I
<v Speaker 1>want to say, with La Knight and then they wrestled
<v Speaker 1>on TV the following week. From the moment that he
<v Speaker 1>debuted on TV, like he just the pedigree that he has.
<v Speaker 1>He's a Steiner and he's got certain attributes about him. Athletically,
<v Speaker 1>he's very athletically gifted. Obviously, he's very fast. We know
<v Speaker 1>that very explosive. But they had him hand picked from
<v Speaker 1>day one. So when they are in your corner and
<v Speaker 1>they put the machine behind you that early in your career,
<v Speaker 1>and they have you tabbed for greatness, you're going to
<v Speaker 1>have an advantage. La Knight. When he came into the company,
<v Speaker 1>he was already well established elsewhere. He was older, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's the other thing. He's got youth now, Carmelo Hayes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how old is Carmelo Hayes. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think Carmelo Hayes is as young as bron Breaker, so
<v Speaker 1>you know, with him, age is less of an issue.
<v Speaker 1>But he didn't have the machine behind him, and the
<v Speaker 1>way the bron Breaker did, that's the difference. Duffs VIDs.
<v Speaker 1>Why did the ghost go to the bar? He went
<v Speaker 1>for the booze. I should have used this. He went
<v Speaker 1>for the booze. Happy early Halloween everyone, Thank you, Duffs.
<v Speaker 1>He went for the booze. I'm gonna have to have
<v Speaker 1>some of that myself this week, maybe on Friday. We'll see.
<v Speaker 1>Mellow is twenty nine. Mellow is twenty nine thirty. He's
<v Speaker 1>not twenty nine thirty. He's twenty nine or thirty. He
<v Speaker 1>is not two thy nine hundred and thirty years old.
<v Speaker 1>He can't be both, so pick one. But compare that
<v Speaker 1>to bron Breaker. I'm sure a Breaker is you know,
<v Speaker 1>a lot younger than that. So it's all of those things.
<v Speaker 1>It's not just age, it's a whole series of things.
<v Speaker 1>And they took one look at him and they knew
<v Speaker 1>from day one. Like with the Rock, they looked at
<v Speaker 1>the Rock and from day one they said, this is
<v Speaker 1>our blue chip guy, right, third generation Breakers? What second
<v Speaker 1>generation would Breaker be? Second or third general? I think
<v Speaker 1>second generation, but you know, second generation guy, super athletic.
<v Speaker 1>They had him pegged from day one. The Winston Slip
<v Speaker 1>twenty seven months of membership. Thanks for another fun stream.
<v Speaker 1>It's my kid's birthday today. Happy birthday, Baby Slip. Shout
<v Speaker 1>out to missus Slip. That battle Axe is one tough lady.
<v Speaker 1>Yes she is. Happy birthday to baby Slip. I hope
<v Speaker 1>it's a great one, and shout out to Ta Mama Slip.
<v Speaker 1>You called her a battle axe, not me. You're also
<v Speaker 1>dating yourself with that reference. By the way, do kids
<v Speaker 1>use that expression anymore? Battle Axe boots with a five
<v Speaker 1>street profits have a cool handshake. Bailey and Lyra have
<v Speaker 1>a cool handshake. I'm still workshopping the GWO handshake, hoping
<v Speaker 1>to have it ready before GTA six. Well you work
<v Speaker 1>on that. Bailey and Lyra do not have a cool handshake,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, they have a handshake. No one ever
<v Speaker 1>said anything about it being cool. But they do have
<v Speaker 1>a handshake. So do Jay Usso and Sammy's aim. By
<v Speaker 1>the way, born in ninety four? Are you saying Breaker
<v Speaker 1>was born in ninety four? So what is he? Let's
<v Speaker 1>see Brian Breaker. Let me look him up. He's got
<v Speaker 1>to be younger than Carmelo Hayes. See year now, he's
<v Speaker 1>twenty eight. He's twenty. I thought he was a couple
<v Speaker 1>of years younger than that. He's twenty eight. Carmel O
<v Speaker 1>Hayes is thirty one. Yeah, it's fine. I mean, my god,
<v Speaker 1>thirty one is fine. Look at look at Look at
<v Speaker 1>the entire fucking main events scene in this company. It's
<v Speaker 1>mostly forty plus. I think thirty one year old Cartmelo
<v Speaker 1>Hayes is fine. Jacob Foto is probably mid thirties, and
<v Speaker 1>he probably should be headlining a couple of WrestleManias before
<v Speaker 1>his time is up. Yeah, the h thing in WWE
<v Speaker 1>really shouldn't be that much of an issue considering how
<v Speaker 1>fucking old most of their main events are. Yeah, the Turnerbot,
<v Speaker 1>I've said that before. The thing about Breaker that's fun
<v Speaker 1>to watch. He has an explosiveness to him that I
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen since Goldberg and WCW, you know, beyond the
<v Speaker 1>in fact they have the same move and Breaker uses
<v Speaker 1>the spear. There's just an explosiveness to his offense and
<v Speaker 1>I noticed it in NXT and it's one of the
<v Speaker 1>things that makes him stand out on the main roster
<v Speaker 1>because you really don't have anybody else, or not too
<v Speaker 1>many people who who work like that. Anyway, Thank you
<v Speaker 1>guys for getting us to be the booker. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>for the questions. Again. I'll be live with you here
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday night. Go back and check out the clips
<v Speaker 1>that have hit the channel today. There'll be another one
<v Speaker 1>going up tomorrow that'll be a fun one. That'll be
<v Speaker 1>a fun one. But you could also check it out
<v Speaker 1>on the sound off from this past Sunday, super Pony.
<v Speaker 1>It's the last word here. When Breaker turns face, it
<v Speaker 1>will be Big Dog Roman all over again. He will
<v Speaker 1>be booed out of the buildings. This company never learns
<v Speaker 1>its lessons. I don't think that's going to be the case.
<v Speaker 1>And I think the biggest difference is that Roman. He
<v Speaker 1>was part of the Shield, but Roman never really had
<v Speaker 1>a heel run until well after the point that the
<v Speaker 1>fans had already started booing him out of the buildings
<v Speaker 1>very early on. Vince McMahon loved what he saw and
<v Speaker 1>the blue contact lenses. He had a vision for what
<v Speaker 1>he wanted this man to be, and the fans rebelled
<v Speaker 1>against it. And I think with Breaker it's a little
<v Speaker 1>bit different. You know, they started him out. It was
<v Speaker 1>when he came up, he was a baby face and
<v Speaker 1>then he kind of went heel, and then he was
<v Speaker 1>kind of a tweener and it was just very They
<v Speaker 1>didn't know what he wanted him to be. And now
<v Speaker 1>he's you know, he's firmly in the heel role. Fans
<v Speaker 1>won't cheer for him if they want to, and that's
<v Speaker 1>the way to go. It's like Dom, you know, Dom
<v Speaker 1>is a great heel and the fans are starting to
<v Speaker 1>I say starting to. I mean it really goes back
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleMania. This year, they've been slowly coming around to
<v Speaker 1>him cheering him in a lot of different places, and
<v Speaker 1>eventually he's going to make a great baby face, but
<v Speaker 1>there's no reason to rush into it. And I feel
<v Speaker 1>the same way about bron Breaker. You know, now that
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins went down with his injury, one thing they
<v Speaker 1>could do is they don't have to have an eye
<v Speaker 1>towards when do we turn him babyface? When does he
<v Speaker 1>break out of the vision and turn on Seth or
<v Speaker 1>when does Seth turn on him? Seth's gone now this
<v Speaker 1>should be Breaker's crew. That's one of the big issues
<v Speaker 1>I've had with what they've done the last couple of weeks,
<v Speaker 1>where he just fell right in line. You know, Hayman's
<v Speaker 1>pulling the strings and he just teaches another guy in
<v Speaker 1>the vision now and he should have taken more of
<v Speaker 1>an assertive role. But he'll be a heel, I think
<v Speaker 1>for a while. Yet there's no reason to turn him
<v Speaker 1>babyface because there's no one for him to turn on.
<v Speaker 1>This is his crew now, So you could kind of
<v Speaker 1>see the silver lining in it where they no longer
<v Speaker 1>have to look at this as oh, when does he
<v Speaker 1>turn on Seth? Well, Seth is gone, so you really
<v Speaker 1>have to think like that anymore. All right, be well,
<v Speaker 1>stay safe. I will see you guys back here live
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube very soon. For more sound off, hit that
<v Speaker 1>like button on your way out and I will see
<v Speaker 1>you for TNT tomorrow night and Dynamite on Wednesday. Until then,
<v Speaker 1>take care, guys,
