with this Church note. Anyone can be steady when there's no storm. Be

steady, not hysterical, not frantic, not anxious, but steady. In

the storm. You're closer to there than you have ever been before, and

in order to get there, you must be steadied. You're in the middle

of a storm and a blessing. The problem is most things start outcome.

God isn't big on details. He tells you where we're going to the other

side, but doesn't tell you what's going to happen on the way. It's

not the takeaway. It's not the take off that you have to be concerned

about. Most marriages, businesses, babies take off good. He learned things

about life, discipline, and obedience that only the storm can teach you.

You're listening to the podcast, but you're not really listening to you. That's

griefing. Most of the time, our trauma triggers other traumas. You don't

know who you got until the storm. They're inconvenienced in crisis mode. The

storm is not yours to fix. The storm is yours to survive. You

cannot fix the storm, and this drives you crazy. You pride yourself if

I'm being able to fix people, and that's why you pick fix her uppers

so you feel needed. You don't get to pick what life is going to

hand you. You cannot pick the storm. You have a special kind of

trauma when only you feel safe, when you're in control. The enemy waits

until you're tired, frustrated, burnt out, exhausted, and feel if one

more thing hits me, I'm going to lose it. And that's when the

storm comes. Every storm that ever hit the planet came and passed. How

many times in your life have you gone through something and you don't think you'd

made it. You'd make it. Stop wishing for other people's stuff because you

don't know how much they had to put into it to be able to handle

it. If your perspective doesn't change, you will misunderstand that God allowed the

storm to give you an experience that no one else got to have. So

you couldn't know him in a way that other people never knew him. You

couldn't bless millions of people if you didn't go through months and months or years

of utter agony to sing a song. But it was the storm that administered

a healing that couldn't have happened any other way. You're in the middle of

a storm, and there isn't the time. This isn't the time to give

up. Sometimes God takes you through something that you don't have a point of

reference for. It looks like you got it together, and no one helps

you because it looks like you got it together and you're scared out of your

mind. Be steady in the storm. You didn't cause the storm. The

storm is not your fault, So stop lending that voice accused you and saying

you brought this on yourself. Storms come to everybody. What made you think

you'd be exempt from going through storms? Everything I know about God that matters,

I learned it all in the storm. Had Peter recognized the power of

his presence, he would have known the storm was lying because he would have

known Jesus couldn't be drowned. The very fact that Jesus is still with you

is a sign that the storm is a lie. The storm is a lie.

The presence of God is enough to take you through anything. The storm

isn't that bad. The enemy has a way of amplifying trouble in your mind

to make you think it's worse than it really is, and then you panic.

The devil knows the storm can't take you out. It's your fear that

will take you out. Be steady. Your motions are all over the place.

God, this isn't a storm for me to rebuke. This is a

storm for you to rebuke. And you are asking me to do what I've

called you to do. I give you the power, and you've going and

you're giving up the power by allowing your emotions to control your decisions. I

cannot call an emotional leader. Don't panic. The storm is just a test

for a controlled environment for what I'm about to do in your life. In

front of every major move, God, there'll be some form of a test

challenge. When you run into your Goliath, you have to come into your

kingdom. Goliath isn't there to kill you, Golithe is there to introduce you.

The reason you're fighting what you're fighting right now is because God is creating

a stage for his anointing to rest on the greater, the storm, the

grave, the assignment. If God trusts you with that level of trouble,

you've got to be somebody. All hell is breaking loose because this is Satan's

last attempt. The trouble is normal. It's part of the job. You're

significant. You don't have to fight the storm. You have to fight the

temptation to become historical in the storm. You have to remain steady. Steady

means whatever you were doing before the storm started, to keep on doing it.

The reward for passing the test is earning the next test. Eventually,

you face so many of them, and you learn to not delay the happiness

for the test to be over. To feel good, we got to learn

to find happiness in the midst of it because it's not going to stop.

It's not ever going to stop. There's always going to be something. There's

always going to be something that goes wrong. That's just a part of life,
