message, we will go through today's Bible reading, We'll go through recommended ring

scriptures, we will go through today's commentary, and then from there we'll close

out with a prayer. We will close out with a priestly blessing, and

we will close like giving all the praise, honor, and glory to the

is the Book of Isaiah, chapter thirty, verses fifteen through twenty six.

The recommended ring scriptures are Psalm twenty five, verses six through seven, Psalm

one hundred and three, verses one through five, and also the Book of

Romans chapter eight, verses thirty eight through thirty nine. The title of this

commentary is Forever Faithful. Why do we constantly struggle to remain faithful to God?

Why do our sinful desires and selflesh actions claw at our emotional and physical

well being? Why is it that when we resolve in the morning to act

in a certain way or to deny ourselves something that we know to be wrong.

We too often end up at the end of the evening looking back on

our day with regret. At least we face only one lifetime of wrestling with

this problem. Imagine struggling with this issue for dozens of lifetimes, as the

nation of Israel did. No matter how hard the Israelites tried they could seem

to remain faithful to God. Their struggle lasted through seemingly endless centuries, through

good times and bad, through every turn and season of life. Their humanity

in the midst of God's holiness presented the Israelites with a problem they couldn't overcome

on their own any more than they could have stopped the sun from rising in

the east. Yet, despite the Israel's constant sin and rebellion, God remained

faithful and true. He never gave up on them. Spite of our constant

sin and rebellion. You know that means for your own life, God still

remains faithful and true. He won't give up on us neither. He won't

give upon us either. Isaiah's words to the Isel still ring completely true for

us. The Lord longs to be gracious to you. He rise to show

you compassion, how gracious he will be when you cry for help. As

soon as he hears he will answer you Verses eighteen through nineteen. And his

compassion, God not only forgives our sins, he forgets them. He wipes

the slate clean. We just need to ask it, and he responds,

I will forgive their wickedness, and I'll remember their sins no more. Jeremiah,

chapter thirty one, verse thirty four. God's unconditional love and forgiveness might

be the toughest concept in all of Scripture for us to comprehend. We can't

grasp it anymore than we can earn it. Yet God's love for us and

forgiveness of our sins stand as unalterable realities of his nature. God not only

extends love to us, He is Love. Love stands as god primary trait.

Love resides in and animates from the very core of God, and it

pos says throughout his relationship with us. The apostle Paul recognized this one.

He wrote, if we are faithless, we remain He remains faithful, for

he cannot disown himself. Psycho Timothy, Chapter two, verse thirteen. Because

God is infinitely loving and faithful. He offers us complete and irrevocable forgiveness.

Amen. Things to take away from the commentary, why do you think so

many generations of Israelite struggle to remain faithful to God? And what ways do

you wrestle with the issue? What can you do to gain a clear and

deeper understanding of God's compassion, love and faithfulness? Explain your answer quote unquote

in other words, who am I? I am one loved by Christ?
