chapter forty two and its whole entirety, all right, verses one through

seventeen. Okay, so here we go. Job. Then, Job replied

to the Lord. I know that you can do all things. No plan

of yours can be thwarted. You asked who is this that obscures my counsel

without knowledge? Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too

wonderful, wonderful for me to know. You said, listen now and I

will speak. I will question you, and you shall answer me. My

ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore

I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes. Epilogue. After the Lord

has said these things to Job, he said to Ali fast Elifaz, the

read. Man. It's amazing the way God puts us through things, tests

and challenges, and the outcome and the rewards and the results from it ain't

man. And you know Job held his own during those tests and trials,

those hard times. He held his own, man. And that's how we

have to be when we're going through these obstacles in different phase and season of

our lives, are dealing with loss or misfortunes or mishaps or what have you.

You trusting the Lord through it all. You stay worshiping him through it

all. You you look to him through it all. You know, well,

we're dealing with things that are out of our control. We always trust

in the Lord to know that he's in control. Amen. So you always

gotta be firm through it all, man. And this story is just very

excellent, you know, just seeing how God blessed the latter part of Job's

life more than the first. When you read the whole story of Job,

it never really dictates to you detail or description wise his age or how oldie

wismas things started happening to him, you know, So that shows you that

there's not even amount of time that I was measured through all those tests.

It doesn't say he got tested for ten days or three weeks or forty days

forty nights. You know, it has no timetable on it. And the

thing with in life, you know, when you go through certain stuff,

it could take as long as it can. You know, some people test

are within one day, some people test are within a week. You know,

some a few days, some people test are a month. Some people's

tests are even a year or certain amount of years. Everyone's test is different.

Like when Joseph went through he went through with his brothers and going through

being betrayed and everything and being sold to slavery. Joseph dealt with that for

years. You know, we know no what dealt what everything he dealt with

for forty days, forty nights. And then Moses went through a whole lot

throughout his lifetime. We know that the Messiah he obviously dealt with ever that

he did at his time period. And you see how certain people's tests and

trials and situations can last as long as it could, you know, and

that teaches us that we can't measure exactly how short how long so they're supposed

to be. How long we're supposed to sustain through it, you know,

we trust God's time, and you know what I mean. And he keeps

us in that oven. Amen, he can't you know what trials, tribulation,

he keeps us in that oven. Man, and a lot of us

be wanting to be out so much and so impatient and what have you.

But does lessons to be learned and everything. Man, there's always less to

be learned. And the story of Job is always an excellent outcome, an

excellent win for him, you know, he became more prosperous. So it

said that the Lord bless him better, blessed him more in his ladder pipe

ladder left thing before. So I mean, Joe went through this for a

good amount of time, right, because something like this can't just happen,

to know, three days alone or just a four day forty nine thing.

So definitely took longer than those time periods, you know. So that type

of patience is amazing, you know. And it says how he had fourteen

thousand sheep, six thousand camels, and a thousand oxes and a thousand donkeys.

You know, you know how much land you gotta have to have all

them animals. You know. So you're talking about blessed and prosperous man.

Wow, and talked about his children as well. What have you. He

was able to see his children's children, sees his grand children and great grand

children. Man. So that's excellent man, you know. And God is

a reward. God awards those who are faithful. Man, He rewards faithfulness,

He awards patience. Man, he does. Man. You know,

you remember you're working the Lord. It's not vain people. The things you're

going through is not for no reason or no purpose for you know what I'm

saying. It's to bring you closer to Him, experience his power, his

love, his word and strength more than ever a man. So I feel

like we're all going through different types of tests and trials and triplish throughout a

lifetimes that might not be exactly like jobs, but not too far off.

You know. Bet people go through all types of things in their life.

They got all different testimonies. So that's what makes all of us so unique

in the body of Christ. That's what makes it so unique as a family

of God. You know, as we all have our own stories to tell

about the outstretched arm of God, the mighty hand of God and how God

deliver us through a God's through something, you know. So prayers for all

The title of this commentary is restored Here we go. Job suffered a

lot during his time as suffering, people and possessions dear to him were systematically

being cut away. While adversity, sickness, and suffering pounded his life.

God's loving hand ultimately restored Job's life in response to his faith and devotion,

even in the face of hardship. When we encounter tough times and wonder whether

we can hold onto our faith, we need to remember that Job's story had

a happy ending. God restored Job's life with people, with people and possessions,

blessing him with herds and flocks, ten more children and several generations of

grandchildren before his death. Surely, the shock and pain of the losses he

had suffered earlier on never left his memory, but the knowledge of God's over

karing, over arking care for him coupled him with the evidence of God's blessing

later in life, must have been a comfort to him in his later years.

Continuing to trust God is tough, especially when we lose people we love

or possessions we have worked hard to attain. We all can admit to times

when God seemed distant despite our pleas to him in prayer. But during such

times, maintaining our faith isn't impossible. Persistence and optimists are our key elements

to seeing God's work in our lives. God doesn't promise that our lives will

be free of adversity. Instead, he pledged to remain faithful when we put

our trust in him. Amen. Things to take away from the commentary,

how have you seen God's faithfulness and action in your life? Why do you

think people find their hard to believe God's promise to be faithful in times of

trouble? How can you serve as a reminder of God's left to someone going

through a difficult time? All right? People, is the most high for

him? Are? The Book of Job is always an excellent read to truly

humble ourselves in a situation we complain about, but also super attachable to almost

everybody right now. There's countless of people around the world right now just going

through things that are just not imaginable. All right. Some people battles are

private and some people battles are public. All in all, the battles are

battle tests to TuS and you know, brother says of the faith, we

got a constantly keep comforting each other in these times, okay, because the

things people are going through a not easy. Okay, So let's keep on

trusting the Lord to keep on having that unity in the midst of adversity,
