go through the Book of Second Chronicles chapter twenty six versus one, two one

through twenty three. Okay, alright, today's Bible reading the Second Chronicles chapter

twenty six versus one, two one through twenty three. This whole entirety,

Okay, it is based on Aziah, the King of Judah. Alright,

So here we go. Then, all the people of Judah took Aziah,

who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father

Amaziah. He was the one who rebuilt a laugh and restored it to Judah

after Amasia arrested with his fathers. Aziah was sixteen years old and he became

king and reigned in Jerusalem fifty two years. His mother's name was Jekaliah.

She was from Jerusalem. He did what was right in the eyes of the

Lord, just as his father Amaziah had done. He sought God during the

days of Zachariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long

as he sought the Lord, God gave him success. He went to war

against the Philistines and broke down the walls of goth Jabneh and Ashdod. He

then rebuilt towns near Ashdod and elsewhere among the Philistines. God helped them against

the Philistines and against the Arabs who lived in Gerbail, and against the Meuonites.

The Ammonites brought tribute to Isziah, and his fame spread as far as

the border of Egypt. Because he had become very powerful. Azaiah built towers

in Jerusalem at the corner gate, at the valley gate, and at the

angle of the wall, and he fortified them. He also built towers in

the desert and dungmit and dug many cisterns. Because he had much livestock in

the foothills and in the plane. He had people working his fields and vineyards

in the hills and in the fertile lands, for he loved the soil.

Asaiah had a well trained army ready to go out by divisions according to their

numbers, as mustard by Jilt the secretary and Mayasiah Miyasiah the officer, under

the direction of Hannaanayah, one of the one of the royal officials. The

total number of family leaders are over excuse me. The total number of family

leaders over the fighting men was two thy six hundred. Under their command was

an army of three hundred seven thousand, five hundred men trained for war,

a powerful force to support the king against his enemies. Asia provided shields,

other courageous priests of the Lord followed him in. They confronted him and said,

it is not right for you, Aziah, to burn incense to the

Lord. That is for the priest the descendants of Erin who have been consecrated

to burn incense, leave the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful and you

will not be honored by the Lord. God Azaiah, who had a censer

in his hand ready to burn incense, became angry. While he was raging

at the priest in their presence before the incense altar in the lord's temple,

leprosy broke out on his forehead when Isoriah, the chief priest. When Azoriah,

the chief priest, and all the other priests looked at him, they

saw that he had leprosy on his forehead, so they hurried him out.

Indeed, he himself was eager to leave because the Lord had afflicted him.

King Aziah had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in a separate

house lepers and excluded from the temple of the lord. Jotham his son had

charge of the palace and governed the people of the land. The other events

of Isaiahs ranged from beginning to end, are recorded by the prophet Isaiah,

son of Amas amaz Asaiah rested with his fathers and was buried near them in

a field for burial that belonged to the kings, for people said he had

leprosy, and Jatham Jotham, his son succeeded him as king all right.

So that is today's Bible reading of the Book of Second Chronicles, chapter twenty

six and his whole entirety Verses one through twenty three. Okay, very interesting

read. You know, I love going through chronicles first chronicles like krongs because

it always just brings you back to the history of how you know, in

the most high stabished everything from the jump, but also discussing the kingship and

the prophets that you know, contributed all in the history of Israel, all

the priests, prophets, kings, all the men of valor, all the

people and what they've done through the history of Israel. And you see the

history of Israel, you see it's good and it's bad. You see the

glory of Israel and his goodness and how they when they did obey, and

how things were when they flourish and prosper, and then you also see all

the bad and disobedience and all the all the wrong they was doing in that

myst as well. So with the story of Isaiah, it's very interesting because

you see him start off good. He was at the beginning, he was

starting off right, you know, and doing right in the eyes of the

Lord, and them in it pretty bad room because he was getting very powerful.

He was getting resourceful, he's getting all the cloud. He felt like

he was on top of the world. And you remember this man, he

became a king as a teenager. So he became king at sixteen years old.

So you give a young boy, you know, all that responsibility,

all that status, all that kingship like that, you know, it's going

to get to his head, you know what I mean. That's happens when

a very young person or a very experienced person or immature person gets something big

like that. You know, a person could get more prideful through their possessions

and stuff like that, and rotten it. It could mess up their heart

and their attentions. So they start disobeying the most high. They start forgetting

who gave him that position and power in the first place. They started to

get to their head and they just lose their way. You know, we

see constant patterns of it, of course throughout the history, but also in

real life. You know, people just in general, they start getting things,

they start getting materialistic stuff, and they just start forgetting who they are,

forgetting the foundation, start disrespecting things. You know, the main one

they're disrespecting all this is the most high. You know, so people really

let things get to their head. And he was a very resourceful man.

He had a big army, land, possessions, He had all types of

stuff. Man, you know what I mean. But you know, if

you're not honoring God with the position God blessed you with or the things He's

given you or promoted you to, the most how could easily take away from

you? Amen? And we see here how Azaiah was started being unfaithful to

the Most High. He started to burn incense. And the reason why he

was supposed to do that because kings weren't supposed to do that. Only the

levice were supposed to do that. You know, in the Torah, as

you know, the lost such your commandments, the Most had very set apart

consecrated instructions for levice. They were to consecrated ones and sons of error to

do certain things in the temple and burning incense on the altar. Only the

levice were called to do those things. And he had no business doing it

as a king, because the Most High already gave laws for kings. When

you read Doe Rohyingy seventeen, you're supposed to just stick to that, you

know, because God had instructions for each person in the Torah, if he

was a king, a priest, a farmer, a high priest, prophets

God bit gave loss for everybody. His word, don't leave nobody out.

The Torah doesn't leave no one out. Okay. Most have madelaws for everybody,

and we were supposed to stick to them depending on who he was in

the position we played in life. But Asaiah didn't handle the Torrah. He

didn't handle the laws of the Most High and was doing his own thing,

and he felt he was above the Most High and above the law. And

no one is above man, no counsel wisdom against there's no counsel wisdom,

not understand against the Lord. Okay. The Most High stablish is everything.

And we submit ourselves to God. We humb ourselves in respect the order standard

God gives to us. Okay. And and as you could see when when

Uzaiah got mad again confronted by the priests and them, as soon as he

started getting angry, leprosy hit him. So when you're angry at a righteous

person or a person who confronts you, corrects you or straighten you out,

you know iy Sharp's Aron. God will punish you just for that, because

not when you go against a man of God or a woman of God,

you're not just going against that person, You're going against the Most High as

well at the same time when you do that. So the Most High strikes

Usaiah with leprosy right on his forehead, so he had to be out the

temple, out of the house of the Lord. He had to be totally

sent apart. Because we know how the Most High handled lepers. You know,

he give us loss, how to deal with leopards and stuff like that.

So it's just a crazy story of you seeing someone's rise and you're seeing

their downfall. You know, pride will always destroy somebody. Man being unfaithful

and prideful orways destroy you. So we got to always constantly humble ourselves every

day, no matter what God has blessed us with any status or promotion or

any good things the Lord's keep doing for us. Well, stay humble through

that, you know what I'm saying, Because we know, just as easy

as the Most High gave with something, he could easy ship it away from,

stay loyal, committed, responsible, maintaining it, you know what I'm

saying. So you got to maintain your blessings. You got to maintain your

position. You got to maintain what God gave you. There's a responsibility and

accountability for everything God gives us, a man like, we're charged with things.

Okay, So we got to be more better in our lives. Man,

you know, we got to have better discipline and more humility and meekness

when we go about things. Man, So it's always important. Man.

Nobody is above God's word. No one is above the Torahe nobody's above holiness,

No one is above obedience, righteousness, no one is above that.

You know, we easily see how God rewards those who are righteous or faithful

and good stewards and everything. And we also easy to see how God makes

examples of our people who are disobedient and don't listen or don't respect what He

told us. You know, so obviously we know the good examples are obviously

you know, no Abraham, Isaac Jacob, you know a lot in a

sense, you know, Job Daniel, Isaiah Ezekiel. So we see the

good examples of what happen when you obey God, you keep moving into spirit,

you keep living by His word, and you see the examples of what

happens when you don't obey God like examples like Sampson, David, Solomon,

the most of the kingship of Israel, certain prophets as well. So you

see how the Father rewards righteousness and obedience, and how he punishes and disciplines

those who don't. You know, we serve a real righteous, fair God.

Amen. So we got to be on point with our lives and our

situations every day. Amen. So that is today's barbarating. Okay. Second

Chronicles, chapter twenty six in its entirety. Now I would love to do

is read the recommended ring scriptures attested to today's bibarating. Okay. So the

Each man's life is but a breath. See, law man is a

in you. Save me from all my transgressions. Do not make me the

scorn of fools. I was silent. I would not open my mouth,

for you are the one who has done this. Remove your scores from me.

I am overcome by the blow of your hand. You rebuke and discipline

men for their sin. You consume their wealth like a moth. Each man

is but a breath. See law, hear my prayer. O Lord,

listen to my cry for help. Be not deaf to my weeping. I

dwell with you as an alien, a stranger, as all my fathers were.

Look away from me, that I may rejoice again before I depart,

verses four through thirteen. All right. So, the second recommended ring scripture

I will love to read is the Book of Proverbs, chapter three, verses

five through ten. All right, Proverbs, chapter three, verses five through

ten. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not on your

own understanding in all your ways. Acknowledge Me, and He shall straighten all

your paths. Make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own

eyes. Fear the Lord, and apart from evil, it shall be health

to your navel, help to your body, and strength and nourishment to your

bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all

your crops, so that your barns be filled with plenty. That you wine

pressure, I'll be filled with new wine. Amen. Proverbs chapter three,

versus five through ten. Now we will go to the gospels about this.

We will go to the Book of Mark chapter four, verses eighteen through twenty.

All right, the Book of Mark chapter four, verses eighteen through twenty.

Still, others, like seeds sown among thorns, hear the word,

but the words of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires

of other things, come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Others, like seeds sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it

and produce a crop thirtyfold, sixty four or even one hundredfold one hundred times

what was sown. Amen. Amen, make sure to make sure the seed

is on good soil. People, we gotta produce good word, good word

of the most high. Make it thirty fold, sixty fold, one hundred

fold, Okay. So when the Word of God is applied to our lives,

let us produce it, make goodness out of it. Amen. So

that's the Book of Mark chapter four, verses eighteen through twenty. Now we

will go to the letters to the churches. We will go to the Book

of Philippians chapter four, verses eleven through thirty. Or go with Paul said

about this all right, So Philippians chapter four, versus eleven through thirteen.

I am not saying this because I am in need. I have learned to

be content, to be content with whatever the circumstances are. I know what

it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have

plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any in every situation,

whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Hey man,

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Hallelujah, y'all.

Don't let your circumstance or your situation define you or dictate you. You always

keep the Messiah in your heart, and you follow what the Messiah said and

do it will surpass your situation, your hardship your struggle, whatever hard time,

whatever you're dealing with. All right, the Messiah is all inside of

us. The law of such commandments is all inside of us. Because of

the New Covenant, we know that we could get through any situation and thrive

because the Messiah it aceeds for us and we follow his example of everything.

Man just shouldn't be no lack of worry about anything. Amen. So Philippians,

Chapter four, verses eleven through thirteen. Okay, so now we will

get to the actual commentary itself. All right. The title of this commentary

is the Boy King. What were you doing at the age of sixteen?

Going to school, hanging out with your friends, perhaps starting your first part

time job in a fast full joint, or taking drivers training. You were

flipping burgers? Aziah was leading a nation. When Aziah became the King of

Judah at age sixteen, he probably had more experience with pimples than with politics

and national policies, more track record with hormones than with thrones. But despite

his age, this boy was a quick learner and he loved God. Imagine

what you would have done at age sixteen with a dedicated army at your disposal.

Sure enough, you have used it, you definitely would have used it,

and Aziah did just that. When he went to war against the Philistines.

He knocked down wall, built towers, invented war machines, and his

fame spread. But maybe he rose to the top a little too early because

all the success went to his head. He started reading the headlines and then

believing what they said. God had blessed his efforts, and there was no

reason to believe that trend was going to stop. He liked what he saw

when he looked in the mirror, and he liked what he made of Judah

with God's help. Why not burn a little incense as a sign of his

devotion to God. This is where Isaiah's pride became his downfall. The king

made the tragic mistake of stepping in where only priests were allowed to tread.

Sadly, Aziah discovered the bitter and of pride. Afflicted with leprosy, and

banned from the temple, he lived in isolated life. There's no evidence that

Isaia's devotion to God wavered, and his son in fact followed his foot fell

in his footsteps. Yet the king's disease persisted until the day he died.

As a constant reminder of his misdirected actions. Azia's story reminds us that pride

is a problem for everyone. No matter how virtuous a person may be,

no matter how great has God centered achievements may have been, He's still human.

Pride can creep in, ever so silently, and no one can lose

his perspective on his relationship with God. No matter what God is God,

and we don't even come close. Humility is a crucial aspect of our dedication

and devotion to God. Have you done great things for God? Have you

faithfully pursued the work he has called you to do? Have you given of

your time, talents, and efforts in the pursuit of building His kingdom?

If so wonderful, But remember the words of the apostle Peter when he told

his readers to clothe yourselves with humility. The Book of First Peter, Chapter

five, verse five Amen. Things to take away from the commentary What steps

could Aziah have taken to avoid this tragedy? How do you define this success?

How do you define success? Do you think it's wrong to pursue success

if you've been chasing something other than God's desires? What steps can you take

to change directions? Amen, quote unquote. In other words, the man

who has become purely and simply a businessman, whose sympathy, thoughts, aims,

ambitions, aspirations are all absorbed in business is a man who does not

know how to live well in abundance. He has simply lost the secret of

life quote Washington, Gladden, Hey, man, there's facts right there.

Man, that's the truth. You know. God is still God through it

all, whether you at your high or lower your personal life, God is

still God. And hey, whose words his word? Amen? So always

clothe theselves of humility, as Peter said, y'all most definitely, we got

to apply us more to our lives daily. Okay, So there you have

it, all right, that is the commentary for today, all right.

Some really to reflect on our personal lives. And we could see that in

other examples as well. Okay, So let's always do right by the Most

High and lived by his word. Okay. Now to as I close out
