go through recommended green scriptures and we would go through this commentary, and then

from there we would close out with a prayer. We would close out with

a priestly blessing, and we would close out giving all the praise, honor,

glory to the most hot God of Abraham, issk and Jacob and praise

and its attirety. Okay, the Book of Second Chronicles, chapter twenty.

Here we go, all right, Second Chronicles, chapter twenty. Jehosha Fap

came and told Jehasha fat a vast army is coming against you from Edom,

from the other side of the sea. It is already in Hazaz on tomorrow,

the Lord, and he proclaimed the fast for all Judah. The people Judah

came together to seek help from the Lord. Indeed they came from every town

in Judah to seek him. Then Jehashapha I stood up in the assembly of

Judah and Jerusalem at the temp of the Lord, and the from the new

courtyard has said, O, Lord, God of our fathers, are you

not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of

the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can

withstand you, Oh our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of

this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham,

your friend. They have lived in it and have built it, built

in built in it a sanctuary for your name, built in it, a

sanctuary for your name, saying, if calamity comes upon us, whether the

sord of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence

before this temple that bears your name, and will crowd to you in our

distress, and you would hear us and save us. But now here are

men from Aman, Moab and Mount Sir, whose territory you would not allow

Israel to invade when they came from Egypt. So they turned away from them

and did not destroy them. See how they are repaying us by coming to

drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance. Oh,

Our God, will you not judge them, For we have no power to

face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to

do, but our eyes are upon you. All the men of Judah,

with their wives and children, and the little ones, stood there before the

Lord. Then the spirit of the Lord came upon Jehaziel, son of Zachariah,

the son of Beniayah, Benaya, the son of jail Jael, the

son of Mattanaya, a Levite and descendant of Asaf. As he stood in

the assembly, he said, listen, King Jeheshapad, and all who live

in Judah and Jerusalem, this is what the Lord says to you. Do

not be afraid or discouraged because of the vast army. Because of this vast

army, For the battle is not yours, but Gods. Tomorrow, march

down against them. They will be climbing up by the past of ziz and

you will find them at the end of the gorge in the desert of Jerulah

Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your position,

stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. Old Judah

and Jerusalem, do not be afraid. Do not be his courage. Go

out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you. Jehashaphat

bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and

Jerusalem fell down and worship before the Lord. Then some Levites from the Kohathites

at Kura Heights stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel,

with a very loud voice. Early in the morning, they left for the

desert of Tikoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, listen

to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem. Have faith in the Lord your

God, and you will be upheld. Have faith in his prophets, and

you will be successful. After consulting the people, Jehashaphat appointed men to sing

to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness. As

they went out at the head of the army, saying, give thanks to

the Lord. His love endures forever. As they began to sing and praise,

the Lord set ambushes against the men of Aman and Moab and Mount Sir

who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The men of Aman and

Moab rose up against the men from Maulsir to destroy and annihilate them. After

they finished, latering the men of from Sir, they helped to destroy one

another. When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert

and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the

ground. No one had escaped. So Jeheshaphat and his men went to carry

off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and

clothe them, and also articles of value, more than they could take away.

There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.

On the fourth day they assembled in the valley of barrikay Barika, where they

praised the Lord. This is why it is called the valley of Barika to

this day. Then, led by Jeheshaphat, all the men of Juda Jerusalem

returned joyfully to Jerusalem, for the Lord had given them cause to rejoice over

their enemies. They entered Jerusalem and went to the temple of the Lord with

harps and loots and trumpets. The fear of God came upon all the kingdoms

of the countries when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of

Israel, and the kingdom of Jehaeshaphat was at peace, for his God had

given him rest on every side. The end of Jeheshaphat's reign, so Jehaesha

Fhah reigned over Judah. He was thirty five years old when he became king

of Judah, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty five years. His mother's name

was Azuba, daughter of Shahili Shilhai Shah. He walked in the ways of

his father, Aesa and did not stray away from them. He did what

was right in the eyes of the Lord. The high places, however,

were not removed, and the people still had not set their hearts on the

God of their fathers. The other events of Jehaeshaphat's reign from beginning to end

are written in the books of Jehu, son of Hanad Hannahai, which are

recorded in the Book of the Kings of Israel. Later, Jaheshifi, king

of Judah, made an alliance with Asaiah, King of Israel, who was

guilty of wickedness. He agreed with him to construct the fleet of trading ships.

After these were built at Azayon Gabir, Eliza, son of the Davahu

Dodavahu of Marishah, prophesied against Jehssefa, saying, because you have made an

alliance with Aaiah, the Lord will destroy what you have made. The ships

were wrecked and were not able to set sail to trade. Amen. So

that is the reading for today, Second Chronicles, chapter twenty in its whole

entirety, okay, so very interesting read. Overall, you see Israel's being

confronted by all the armies of Moab and Aman and a Mouseir, and they're

feeling overwhelmed, and they feel obviously outnumbered, and all those different things.

But you know what came into factor was the prayer, the fasting, the

singing and praising, you know, sticking to obedience and the most high en

trusting in him is with won their battle. All right. So we see

here, how, howly, just how the Lord was just constantly looking enough

for them, How the Lord taught him, how the battle is his now

ours. Okay. A lot of times in life we always say we could

do everything on our own flesh, out of our own will and pride but

the Father's outstretched arm is the one who does it for us from day one.

Name man, it's gonna keep doing it because that's how that's how he

operates, hey, man, So we always trust in the Most High,

that outstretched arm of God, the mighty hand of God to finger God,

that's always in our lives everywhere, in every aspect of our lives. People,

So we trusted him through it all, no matter how crazy it looks,

you know. And a lot of people's situations of life look crazy right

now. A lot of people deal with all types of different trouble that they

came explain. But the Father already figured it out. He already got it

worked out. The man you're trying to figure it out here, he worked

it out. So we touch and agree, and we know that the Most

High is constantly, constantly doing it for people all over the world. Man,

he really is. So we always got to trust in him. We

should not worry, we should not front not have anxiety overthink anything in this,

okay, So all faith and trust on this side, all right.

And we also see how in the Second Chronicles, chapter twenty, how the

fasting and prayer led to their victory, but also Jeheshaphat appointed the men to

sing to the Lord and praise, praise him for his splendor, of his

holiness. And once they sang, give thanks to the Lord for his love,

and duraths forever the most high set ambush against the enemy. So we

see here how singing and praising is a way of defeating our enemies. Okay,

a lot of people deal with the spirit of heaviness, and they don't

realize how the powerful the power of praising, the power of singing, the

power of rejoicing. You know, singing is very important. Singing to the

Lord. It's not about a high note and nothing like that. It's just

constantly crying out to him, especially your love for him in the musical way,

you know, pouring out your heart through him to him in a rhythm

way. You know. So just singing to the Lord is a way of

defeating your enemies. You know, the battle is his, you know what

I mean. In a lot of cases, everybody always think it's a cardinal

prideful vain thing of our battles, and it's really not. You know,

the battle really does ball to the Lord. You know, we just have

to be in alignment with his word and praise and worship and obedience and everything

follows suit. Amen. So that's very powerful. How someone's as soon as

they started singing the most hot started just slaying the enemies, start destroying the

enemies. And it's like, man, we need to sing and praise all

more often. Man, we really need to straight up. We're not doing

it for validation, to try to please people. We're doing this for the

most high in our daily battles, Amen, and also for brothers sits out

they were going through their battles. Okay, so we got to intercede for

each other. We gotta praise each other, we got to sing, sing

for each other and all that, and we sing it to the Lord.

All right. So you see how all that played out, and how they

sing and worship and fasted and prayed and how to defeat the enemies. And

then furthermore it goes into discussing Jeshaphat's reign and what have you. How he

did a few flaws. He was a bit flawed because high he linked up

with Ahaziah. You know, how he broke bread with him, and that

wasn't really good in his sight. So you know, we got to always

learn from these lessons to always follow them, follow the Most High wholeheartedly because

God sees everything that we're doing. If we do a few good things and

then still a few bad things, it doesn't bounce out right. So we

have to be like legit, pure legit, on point through it all,

you know, because some people follow God partially, they were supposed to follow

him wholeheartedly, you know what I mean. Like, when you're following the

Most High, it has to be one hundred percent. You can't give ninety

five percent or eight percent, seventy percent to give their other rest to other

people. And that's your That's what johesha Fat did when he uh when he

broke bread with Ahaziah, who was an evil king. Just your associate,

who you associate with, can mess up your relationship with God. This is

a clear example of how when you associate with the wrong people, how much

you can mess up your own blessings. You know what I'm saying. And

we know how corrupt company, how bad company corrupts a good character, you

know, So it's very important on who we associate with, who we deal

with, who we make alliances with. Man and the Bible is very important

about you know, being unequally yoked and all that. You know, Paul

went on and talked about that. So we got to be around the right

people, you know, and there's times that we're in your better off just

staying to yourself and clinging on to the most high and then being around other

righteous brothers and sisters. That's how it is, basically, because we got

to be more set apart than ever. This is not the time to be

entangled or caught up with the wrong people. It's just way too risky,

aimen. So that's the today's Bibery second Chronicles, chapter twenty. Okay.

Now I would love to do is read the recommended ring scriptures attached to this.

Okay, so the first recommended ring scripture is the Book of Numbers,

chapter twenty, verses fourteen through twenty one. All right, Eatam denies Israel's

passage. Moses sent messages from Kadesh to the king of Eatom saying, this

is what your brother Israel says. You know about all the hardships that have

come upon us. Our forefathers went down into Egypt and we lived there many

years. The Egyptians mis treated us and our fathers. But when we cried

out to the Lord. He heard our crime and sent an angel and brought

us out of Egypt. Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on

the edge of your territory. Please let us pass through your country. We

will not go through any field or vineyard or drink water from any well.

We will travel along the King's highway and not turn to the right or to

the left until we have passed through your territory. But Edam answered, you

may not pass through here. If you try, we will march out and

attack you with the sword. There Israelites replied, we will go along the

main road, and if we are or our life start drinking any of your

water, we will pay for it. We only want to pass through on

foot, nothing else. Again, they answered, you may not pass through

them. Then Edom came out against them with the large and powerful army.

Since Edam refused to let them go through the territory, Israel turned away from

them. Interesting read right there. It just shows how much when we are

in the wrong side, the wrong territory, enemy's turf, get a little

hostile and extra you know, a lot cases. Basically to this day,

this is not our rest. So no matter what country in or what area

we're at. We know us true is a lie. It's got all four

corns of the earth. We are in environments that tend to be hostile by

default, but we trust in the law through every environment, no matter what

work environment we're in, or what school we're in, or city a town

accounting we in. We trust the Law through it all. And we just

gotta understand that all the things that we deal with, y'all be thinking it's

racism and sexism or this and that we have it. It's spiritual reasons.

You gotta understand that. Gotta see things in the spirit, okay. So

we gotta keep on the armor of God. It's bigger than just people being

prejudiced or petty or hostile. It's bigger than that. Okay, it's spiritual

reasons, all right. So we worship the once tr got Abraham, misk

and Jacob. The world is gonna act the way to act towards us,

all right. So you just gotta understand that the Messiah went through, the

disciples, went through with the apostles, all of that, okay. So

that's the first recommending scripture. The second recommending scripture is the Book of Second

the truth, our enemies are being crushed right now as we speak, we

touched it greed though, Praise the Most High. Stop holding the grudgeous people,

Let go of bitterness and forginness, because the Father's gonna handle every person

that went at you for the way they did. Y'all. Y'all gotta trust

in the Lord through it all. Y'all, trust in the Lord with your

battles and your wards and your enemies. Okay, y'all keep trying to take

matter to your old hands. You gotta remember that, uh, vengeance belongs

to him. He will repay, he will recompac he, he will recompense.

Man, Rejoice, family, Rejoice. People come on now, rejoice

saying praise rejoice people, come on, y'all, Praise the Most High.

All right. So that's the second recommended Ring scripture alright, And just an

interesting thing where it says it is called the the Valley of Baraka to this

day. So whenever you hear words like to this day or generation of generation

or forever, when you hear things like that, I mean, especially to

this day. There's there's so much historical things that happen throughout Israel. The

real is with that is still here to this day. You know, it's

evs as the heaven Earth is still here. There's so much historical sites where

so much things happen to our people and us. So, you know,

it's very important for all of us to have a passport to travel the world

and really see the things where things really took place. You know, it's

very important to always, you know, go back to your root to understand

the history of who you are and where you're from and where things took place

at. You know what I mean, because we just walk around not really

knowing ourselves our history and not knowing where things really took place at, ay

Man. So let's go seek the Lord about that. U's quite the Lord

about that, and pray about it. Let us get a passport, let

us let the Lord bless us put our travels and our goings, ay Man,

praise the most High. Right. So that's the second recommended ring scripture.

Now, the third recommending scripture I want to read is Psalm eighty three

and its whole entirety Versus one through eighteen. All right, Yes, yes,

correction, Psalm eighty three versus one through eighteen, all right. Psalm

eighty three Versus one through eighteen, all right, a song, a psalm

of us off, Oh God, do not keep silent, Be not quiet,

Oh God. Still see how your enemies are astir, how your foes

rear their heads with cunning. They conspire against your people. They plot against

those you cherish. Come they say, let us destroy them as a nation,

that the name of Israel be remembered no more. With one mind,

they plot together. They form an alliance against you, the tents of Edom

and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites, gabal Ahman and the Melakites,

the Philistines, or the people of Tiree Attire. Even Assyria has joined them.

To lend strength to the descendants of lat see Lah. Due to them

as you did to Midian, as you did to Cecira and Jabin at the

river at Kashan, who perished at Indore and became like refuse on the ground.

Make their nobles like Oreb and zeb all their princes like Zeba and Zamuna,

who said, let us take possession of the pasture lands of God.

Make them like tumbleweed, Oh, My God, like chaff before the wind,

as fire consumes the forest, or flame says the mountains of blaze.

So pursue them with your temple and terrify them with your storm, cover their

faces with shame, so that men will seek your name, O Lord,

May they ever be ashamed and dismayed, and may they perish in disgrace.

Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord, that you alone

are the most high God of all the earth. Yes see, I ammen

saw eighty three right there, How Louyah praise the Most High. Y'all,

See how the Father gonna take care of our enemies. Man, all these

ops, the Moabias, the Ammonites, the Philistines, a ops. Man,

we gonna man, the Father gonna handle them. Amen. The Melachites.

Yeah, Father gonna recompense all you, all nations. We are gonna

the most highest purpose of keeping us up to see all the prophecy be fulfilled.

To costly see our enemies go down to drain. Amen. So the

Most High will recompense them. Man, I'm telling y'all the righteous real rejoice.

Amen. We will rejoice everlasting joy, Amen, most definitely. All

right. So those are the recommended ring scriptures for today's Bible reading. Now

we will get to the actual commentary itself. The title of this commentary is

trouble here we go. Trouble comes in threes, they say, But who's

counting? You've probably noticed that technologing and investigating troubles seem to make them multiply.

Consider your house, For example, the roof starts leaking, so you

climb into the attic to check it out and discover several bad spots, a

rotten rafter, mold, mildew, and often the repair bills mount from there.

Obviously, ignoring problems also makes the multiply. Ignoring the leak today leads

to the living room ceilings sitting in your lap tomorrow. So you face a

dilemma if your troubles multiply, whether you examine or ignore them. What should

you do? King Jeheshafat found himself face to face with trouble. A huge

army marshed toward Jerusalem, and the scout reports didn't hold out much hope.

The problem on the horizon promised to be enormous by the time it reached The

king, alarmed, we read Jeheshapat resolved into inquire of the Lord verse three.

He looked through the trouble. Faced with an overwhelming situation, the king

immediately turned to someone who is never overwhelmed. Amen. As we face trouble

in our own lives, our prayer can be like jeheshaphaths, Lord, I

know you're in charge, so I choose to recognize this trouble as your problem,

not just mine. I admit that I can't handle the situation, yet

it needs to be resolved. What do you say, Lord? Notice how

God responded to this prayer of faith. He answered, but he didn't promise

to help Judah in the battle. Instead, he said he'd fight for his

people. Could the king have anticipate this answer? There are times in our

lives as well when God's good answers surprise us. But notice also that the

king still had his marching orders. God told him not to be afraid twice,

not to be discouraged twice, to march out, to take positions,

and to go out and face the enemy. By the time the people had
