Let us let all those things go that's in the flesh, any negative habits,

negative influences, negative people. Let us cut everything off that's negative and

getting in the way of our blessings or what have you. All right,

say Lord for waking us up and giving us another chance to seek his face.

Let's take the Lord for food in our belly, closing our back,

in general, just always stay thanks for him, the outstretched armor of God,

the mighty hand of God, the finger of God, his grace,

strong out there. All right, now today's message, I am going to

start with today's Bible reading, and then we'll go through recommended reading scriptures,

and then we will go through the actual commentary, and then from there we

will close out with a prayer. We will close out with a priestly blessing,

and we will close I'll give all the praise, honor glory to the

most hot God of Abraham, Miska, and Jacob, and praise is only

be Gods Donna die for our sins. Amen, halle louis y'all. So

today's Bible reading is the Book of Second Chronicles, chapter fifteen, verses one

through nineteen. All right, here we go ASA's reform. The spirit of

God came upon Azariah, son of Odd, who went out to me Asa

and said said to him, listen to me, Ah and all Judah and

Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you

seek him, he will be found by you. But if you forsake him,

he will forsake you. For a long time Israel was without the True

God, without a priest to teach, and without the law. But in

the distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought

him, and he was found by them. In those days, it was

not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in

great turmoil. One nation was being crushed by another, and one city by

another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress. But as

for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work would

be rewarded. When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah, son

of Adid the Prophet, he took courage. He removed. He removed the

detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin, and from the towns

he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the

Lord that was in front of the poor porticle of the Lord's temple. He

assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasse and Simeon,

who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from

Israel when they saw the Lord his God was with him. They assembled at

Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Aesa's reign. At that

time they sacrificed to the Lord's seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep

and goes from the plunder they had brought back. They entered into a covenant

to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart

and soul. All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel,

were to be put to death, whether a smaller, great man or

woman. They took an oath to the Lord with loud singing, shouting with

trumpets and horns, with loud music, and rejoicing. All Judah rejoiced about

the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and

He was found by them, so the Lord gave them rest on every side.

King Aesa also deposed his grandmother Meca from her position as queen mother because

she had made a repulsive asherah poll. Asa cut the pole down, broke

it up, and burned it into the Cadron valley. Although he did not

remove the higher places from Israel. ASA's heart was fully committed to the Lord

So that's a good reading. Okay. I would like to read it in

commentary scriptures. Okay, the first one is God Rewards. It's the Second

Chronicles, chapter fifteen, verse seven. But as for you, be stronger,

do not give up, for your work will be rewarding. Hey,

man, we touched on agreed most definitely. We know that our our labor

for the Lord is not in vain people. We serve a God who loves

to reward his people, and we serve a Lord who rewards abundantly. Amen.

So let us keep working hard for the Lord and make sure all of

our actions are works are dedicated to the Most High, aligned with His will

for our lives, Amen, and our purpose. All right. And the

second recommended rings scripture I want to read is God searches for committed men.

God searches for committed men, Second Chronicles, chapter sixteen, verse nine,

for the eyes of the Lord ranged throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts

are fully committed to him. All right. So that's just the next chapter

of it. But I just wanted to read it because it was on the

same page so also I search for committed men, and y'all, so our

heart's got to be fully with him. People. You know all of it,

man, You know, God put our best foot for got put all

our efforts to the most high, Amman. So that's today's Bible reading,

all right. Now, what I would love to do is read the recommended

ring scriptures that's related to today's by reading and go from there. Okay,

So the first recommended ring scripture is the Book of Genesis, chapter twelve,

verses one through five. All right, the call of Abraham, the Lord

had said to Abram, leave your country, your people, and your father's

household, and go to land. I will show you. I will make

you into a great nation. I will bless you. I will make your

name great, and you would be a blessing. I will bless those who

bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse, and all peoples

on earth will be blessed through you. So Abram left as the Lord had

told him, and a Lot went with him. Abram was seventy five years

old when he set out from Haran. He took his wife, Sarah Sorey,

his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they

had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan and

they arrived there. Hey man, So that's the most high talking to Abraham

right there. I just love how he speaks to Abraham and gives them all

those promises and assurances. You know. That's so beautiful and the most I

could just talk to you straight up like that, you know, very powerful

encounter. So we need the always remember the promises of Abraham as again Jacob

always loved by them, and stick to them, you know, and embrace

that alright. So that's the first recommended ring scripture. The second recommended ring

scripture is the Book of Matthew, Chapter twelve, Verse is forty six through

fifty Jesus mother and brothers. While Jesus was still talking to the crowd,

his mother and brothers stood outside wanting to speak to him. Someone told them,

your mother and brothers are outside waiting wanting to speak to you. He

replied to him, who is my mother and who are my brothers? Pointing

to his disciples, he said, here are my mother and my brothers.

For whoever does a will of whoever does the will of my Father in heaven

is my brother and my sister and my mother. Amen. Hey, I'm

sid himself. Y'all family of the most High. Y'all other people out there

doing a hell of the Father? We are family. Okay. A lot

of people families may be solid and strong, and the people's don't really come

from the best united families. But the Messiah told us that whoever does a

will the Father, that's what makes his family. Amen. So some powerful

words to say. Amen. So that's the second recommended reading scripture, all

right, And the last recommending scripture I want to read a chord to this

comment to her is the Book of Galatians, chapter one, versus six through

ten. All right, Galatians chapter one, versus six through ten. No

other gospel. I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who

called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel,

which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into

confusion and are trying to pervert the Gospel of Christ. But even if we

or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preach

to you, let him be eternally condemned curse, as we have already has

said. So now I say again, if anybody's preaching to you a gospel

other than the one you accepted, let him be eternally condemned. And I

am now trying to win the approval of men or of God, or am

I trying to please men? If I was still trying to please men,

I would not be a servant of Christ. Amen. Need to remind us

right there, that was something right there, Paul said, Right there,

Man, you know, over the years, decade, century, generations,

there's been a false there's been false gospels. False He's being spread all throughout

all over the earth, you know. So the true Gospels being spread in

these last days by the true people of the Most High IMMN. So weird

really doing this thing for real? Man, And Paul, let us know

what time it is, Amen. So let's keep spreading the true Gospel,

the true Messiah. Amen. Most definitely really operating the true Holy Spirit.

Amen. So that's Galatious Chapter one, verses six through ten. All right,

Now we'll get to the actual commentary itself. The title of this commentary

is breaking with the past. Who says we can't overcome our past. When

Asa assumed the throne as King of Judah, he also inherited a terrible family

tradition for three generations to his family. For three generations of his family had

led the nation and the practice of pagan worship, with its accompanying sexual morales

and moral and spiritual decay. Asa knew that changing these long established practices would

alienate him from his relatives, but he determined. But he was determined that

pleasing God was more important than pleasing his family. So King Asa destroyed all

evidence of idle worship in Israel and repaired the altar of the Lord. He

even removed his grandmother from her powerful and influential position as Queen Mother. Imagine

the flak he received after making that decision. Most important, Asa led Judah

back to worship in the One True God. He changed the course of his

own personal life and in the process, changed the course of the nation he

led for as long as he had held his possession held his position. Perhaps,

like Asa, you've inherited patterns that you know don't please God. Perhaps

you came from a family that has ignored or even ridiculed the practice of worship

and the presence of God in a family's life. Perhaps abusive behavior and a

quick temper are part of your family legacy, or perhaps unfaithfulness, deception,

and greed our family traditions that prevent you from becoming the man God wants you

to be. If this is the case, that take heart and encouragement from

the story. You don't have to continue to practice these negative traditions. You

can make different decisions. You can change with God's help, and the change

in your own heart and life can have a long lasting impact on the lives

of those whom you influence on a daily basis. It's such a transition easy,

not usually, but you may be surprised at how receptive your friends,

family, and coworkers are to the changes in your life. Set your goals

today and allow God's words to King Asa to encourage you. But as for

you, be stronger, do not give up, for your work will be

rewarded. Walking in God's approval might bring earthly criticism, but it will yield

eternal rewards. Amen. Things that take away from the commentary. Things take

away from the commentary. What family traditions keep you from a life that is

pleasing to God? What steps can you take to change the way you're living.

What new traditions can you establish in their place? Ay Man, by

this commentary spoke to me. Man, I'm gonna be honest with you.

I'll not be doing these podcasts messages and I give out this word, but

this one really spoke to me. Man. You know, I hope it

speaks to all of our hearts. Man, because none of us come from

perfect families, or families who truly worshiped the once who got of Abraham and

Jacob. A lot of people all over the world have come from households where

their family or people in their blood do witchcraft or commit crimes, or our

unbelievers, or mock the faith, or angry, you know, bitter,

resentful, backbiting, gossip, been, bitter, hateful, envy, jealousy.

Like you come from all these different things, all these generational curses,

all these negative family traditions or we're have you things that has been passed down

to your blood. It is on you to break the generational curses by obeying

the law such a commandments, Oh band, God's word, oh band,

God's voice, keeping the testimony of Jesus, keeping the gospels, and really

living by faith. You know, because everyone's backgrounds are different. People grow

up in different manipulative households or tosic households or what have you. The prophet

Micah even talked about, you know, how your enemies are on your own

household, and mother against brother, and sister against the daughter against father,

all these different things. And then the Messiah said the same thing as well.

He said, I came not to bring peace. I came to bring

a sword. I came to put mother against daughter. I came to put

father against son. I can't put mother in law against daughter in law,

you know. So the Messiah fulfilled the prophecy, all the prophecies, but

of Micah regarding the household and the families, you know, and even the

Messiah clearly said, look, whoever does it well with my father, that's

my mother, that's my brother, that's my sister, you know, And

that right there draws the line right there, you know. And there's a

big difference between blood and your actual family. Okay, there's a big difference

between just being born into a family and being born being you know, being

born again in the Kingdom of Heaven and having a brother sister in the faith.

You know what I'm saying, So the Messiah really drawed that line with

that double edge a man. He let us know, like, hey,

you know it's gonna even cost see your family and your bringing in your past

to follow him. You know. The Messiah said, if you love your

mother or your father more than me, you ain't worthy of me. You

ain't worthy of the kingdom. He said, if you love your son your

daughter more than me, you're not worthy of the kingdom. Ain't meant.

So we got to understand to not put anything of anybody above the most high

in his word Hallujah. And we know that sometimes even our own upbringings,

our past, our current situation is actually in the way, you know what

I mean. And I speak for myself and those out there who listener as

well. You know. So you gotta be real with yourself and understand your

friends, your family, people from your past don't want God like you do,

and they're not called like you are. They don't have the heart for

the gospeling thing like you do. You know. So that's always that that

situations a lot of people deal with, you know. So we got to

understand God called Abraham out of his father's house, sat get out your father's

house, you know what I mean? So true people the Most High a

lot of times when they get that called are usually sent out. They got

to leave everything behind to file the most High, they have to really leave

everything behind to get truly blessed. They have to get away from all the

toxic people, get away from all the negative influences of what have you.

Or even if you're in that situation or midst of it, you have to

stay grounded in the Word. You have to stay in that law, stay

in the commandments, stay in the Gospel in the misty situation you're in right

now, you know. So very powerful commentary. Man, I'm very glad

I was able to read this. I definitely needed it. And I pray

to God that blesses you all as well, all right, because all of

our situations are different. But the Lord knows what we're going through out here,

okay, so the Most High sees it all I am in, so

give them all the glory and praise them, all right, And I just

pray that whoever it's just myth, I pray that God moves you out that

house, he moves you out that apartment, he moves you away from whatever's

in the way. Of hindering you. I pray that you're willing to excuse

me. I'm pretty that you're willing to get up and bounce as well.

I pray that you're willing to do your end all right, because I feel

like the Most High wants to continues to keep moving us and using us.

But a lot of times we begin in our own way. We be hesitant

or doubtful or fearful or whatever insecurity. And it's like, look, we

got to walk by faith in that by sight. We got trust in the

Lord through everything. We gotta stop being so concerned about what man think.

You know, we're so concerned about what your friend. Think with your cousin,

Think with your brother, think with your mom, think with your daddy,

thing with your cousin. Man. Look, man, it's about how

the Most High feel about us, all right, what he knows about us.

Amen? So don't be a man pleaser. Okay, a man pleaser

isn't always just a friend or co workers. It's people in general. You

know, a lot of people have this thing of pleasing their own family or

valdition of others. They place that over God's word, and we gotta stop

doing that people. Amen. I speak for myself. So let us be

wholly upright and be firm in the Gospel. Be firm and the word forevermore.

Amen, most definitely. Also there you have it all right. Well,

Example, the Rock, the root of David, the Rose are Sharing the

rule of God's creation, the rule of the kings of the Earth, the

Savior, the seed of Woman, the Shepherd and Bishop of souls, the

Shiloh, the son of Abraham, the son of David, the son of

God, the son of Man, son of the Blessed, son of the

most High God, the source of return, salvation for all who obey him,

the son of Righteousness, the just One, the one Mediator, the

Stone, the builder is rejected, the true Bread, the true God,

the true Light, the true Vine. Yes, he is the truth.
