reading. We would go through recommended ring scriptures, and then we would go

through the actual commentary itself, okay, and then from there we would close

out with her prayer. We would close out with a praislely blessing, and

we would close out giving all the praise, honor glory to the most hot

is the Book of First Chronicles, chapter twenty nine, verses ten through twenty.

All right, so this is David's prayer, all right, So here

we go, David praise the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly,

saying, Praise be to you, oh Lord, God of our father Israel,

from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, old Lord is the greatness and the

power, and the glory and the majesty and the splendor. For everything in

heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O Lord, is the Kingdom.

You are exalted as head. Over All wealth and honor come from you.

You are the ruler of all things, and your hands are strength and power

to exalt and give strength to all. Now, Our God, we give

you thanks and praise your glorious name. But who am I and who are

my people that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything

comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as we were all our

forefathers, as were all of our forefathers. Our days on earth are like

a shadow without hope, O Lord, our God. As for all this

abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your holy name,

it comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. I

know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity.

All these things have I given willingly and with honest and tent, and

I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to

you, O Lord, God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Israel,

keep his desire in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their

hearts loyal to you. And give my son Solomon the whole heart of devotion.

To keep your commandments, requirements and decrease, and to do everything to

build a palatial structure for which I have provided. Then David said to the

whole assembly, praise the Lord your God. So they all praise the Lord,

the God of their fathers. They bowed low and fell postraight before the

First, Chronicles chapter twenty nine, verses ten through twenty. Very beautiful

prayer. Okay, So now we were read the recommended reading scriptures. Okay.

The first recommended reading scripture is the Book of Proverbs, chapter twenty one.

So here we go, verses twenty five through twenty six. The sluggard's

craving will be the death of him because his hands refused to work all day

long. He craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing. Alright,

is the Book of Malachi chapter three, verses six through ten. Alright,

robbing God, either Lord, do not change, therefore, ye sends to

Jacob. Are not consumed ever since the time of your forefathers. You have

and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty. But you ask,

how are we to return. Will a man rob God? Yet you

rob me? But you ask how do we rob you? And tithes and

offerings? You are under a curse the whole nation of you, because you

are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may

be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty.

And see if I will not follow, if I will not throw open

the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessings that you will not have

room enough to ford. Amen. That's a book of Malachi, chapter three,

verses six through ten. All right now, The third recommended reading a

scripture is the Book of Matthew, chapter twenty five, verses fourteen through thirty.

The parable of the talents. Again, it would be like a man

eight going on a journey, who called his servants and the trusted as proper

to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two

talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then

he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went

at once and put his money to work and gained five more So also the

one with the two talents gained two more, But the man who had received

the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his

master's money. After a long time, the master of those servants returned and

settl accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the

other five. Master. He said, you entrusted me with five talents.

Cee, I have gained five more. His master replied, well done,

good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things. I

will put you in charge of many things. Come and show your man master's

happiness. The matter with the two talents also came master. He said,

you entrusted me with two talents. See, I have gained two more.

Come and show your master's happiness. Then the man who had received the

one talent came Master. He said, I knew that you are a hard

man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathered, gathering where you have

not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent

you wicked, lazy servant. So you knew that I harvest where I

have not sown, and gathered where I have not scattered seed, Well,

then you should have put my money on deposit with the banker, so that

when I returned I would have received back with interest. Take the talent from

him and give it to the one who has the ten talents, for everyone

who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever

does not have even what he will, even what he has, will be

taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside it too, the darkness,

where there'll be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Serious parable right there.

Okay, So that's the recommend Rendey scripture right there. The Book of Matthew,

chapter twenty five, verses fourteen through thirty. Always remember that everything belongs

to the Lord, and what the Father gives us, we give it back

to him. Amen, you got a double triple it all right. If

the Father gave you a gift for talent and the ability assignment and task you

make, you've made fruit of that. Okay, Make sure you're diligent with

what the father gave you. Okay. That's for all of us, for

me and you, all of us. Okay, So let's be better,

have more accountability, and always produce what's will were more than what we have.

Okay. Let us not make excuses. Okay, there's no excuse to

why we can't spread the gospel or serve God. There's no excuse to why

we can't share the gospel with someone or be purposeful for the kingdom. There's

no excuse for it. Excuses lead you to hell. Excuses lead you to

the lake of fire. So we have to repent and do better and work

more harder and smarter. Okay, let's be more responsible on pointing people.

All right. So those are the recommended reading scriptures. Now we're going to

get to the actual commentary itself. Okay. The tie of this commentary is

whose stuff is it? A young father treated his four year old daughter to

lunch at McDonald's, a special time with just Dad, his girl, and

Ronald. As the little girl sat eating her happy meal, her dad reached

over and grabbed a French fry Special time or not. The daughter simply moved

away his hand and circled the meal with her arm and said, Dad,

you can't have one. Those aren't your fries? Their mind. Of course,

the dad had driven her to McDonald's, ordered the meal, and paid

for the fries, So really whose fries were they? Perhaps God has similar

thoughts towards us. When we become possessive. We push him away, throw

our arms around our possessions and say this stuff is mine? Yet really,

whose stuff is it? God owns everything and gives us all good things in

life. He gives us the strength to work, healthy minds and bodies,

and the motivation to achieve. In fact, we can't even take credit for

the air we're breathing, or the fact that our chest continues to rise and

involve, or that our heart keeps beating. Each moment we live in this

life is a gift from His hand. David's prayer for the gifts that God's

people gave to build the Temple reflects this truth. David understood that each of

these gifts truly came from God, not the people themselves. Thousands of years

later, this truth remains the same. Everything we have comes from God.

Where managers not owners of what God plays in our trust. The days we

live, the positions we feel, the children we nurture, the people we

influence, the homes we inhabit. The money in our accounts all belong to

God. Of these, perhaps acknowledging that our money belongs to God provides the

greatest challenge. Another person astutely observed there are three conversions necessary, the conversion

of the heart, the mind, and the purse, in our case,

the wallet or the checkbook. Of these three, it may will that we

find a conversion of the purse most difficult. God doesn't need your money.

He wants what your money represents. He wants your heart. Don't build a

barricade around your possessions to keep God out. Give him your heart and watch

how he orders and provides all that you need. Amen. Things that take

away from the commentary, what are some ways you guard your possessions and your

money or your money? How many of the conversions described by this person do

you think you've been through? What steps can you take so that your possessions

reflect God's ownership? Amen, quote unquote. In other words, God has

given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.

We are not sisters made for hoarding. We are channels made for sharing.

If we if we fail to fulfill this death divine duty and privilege.

We have missed the meaning of the faith quote. Amen, all right,

given us sharing is important, and working and being sustainable and looking up for

others is important. Hallelujah. Always gotta keep being generous, always keep giving,

always keep sharing, always keep dedicating everything to the Most High, every

always giving everything back to the Father, you know what I mean. Throughout

the scriptures, especially like the Old Testament, see patterns of given a tenth

to the Most Higher, dedicating the tenth of things, or through the toy

rade with the levites, or tithing offering or what have you. Or Abraham

giving a tenth of everything to Malki's a deck, and you know, and

just Malachi, you see different references of giving God back things that honoring the

Most High with this stuff they's been getting blessed blessing us with you know what

I mean. So always giving back to the Most High is important. Even

the Messiah he said, whatever belongs to season, giving back to season,

whatever belongs to God, giving back to God. So always got to keep

giving back to the Most High, keep giving the people generously willingly. All

right, the Most High loves a cheerful giver, all right. So we

gotta always be given and looking out for people all the time. All right.

We gotta keep putting ourselves in good positions to be a big giver as
