message, we're going to go through today's commentary. Okay. So we will

go through today's Bible reading. We will go through the recommended reading scriptures,

and we'll go through the whole tire commentary. From there, we will close

out with a prayer. We will close out with a priestly blessing, and

we will close out give all the praise, honor glory to the most hot

God of Abraham, Miskin Jacob, and praise has only been God self die

for our sins, Amen, hallelujah. So today's Bible reading will be the

Book of First Chronicles, chapter thirteen, verses one through fourteen. Okay,

So I believe this is the let me see, I believe this is the

second. This is the first commentary in the book of First Chronicles. Okay,

So we finished the commentaries and Second Kings. Okay, so I want

to read the essentials of First Chronicles before the scripture. Okay, all right.

The author is Ezra, the audience people of Israel, specifically, get

those who specifically those who survived the exile to Babylon. The date about four

hundred and thirty BC. Setting. The chronicler recounts the history of Judah and

Israel to show the people how they fit into God's plan through all the kingships

and the bloodlines and everything like that. Okay, Now, the Essentials of

First Chronicles. History doesn't always reveal every detail at first. If you win

the same events as generation later yields different insights. The material recorded in First

and Second Samuel and First and Second Kings is retold yet again in First and

Second Chronicles. This first value of Chronicles provides a spiritual background of events leading

to David's rise to power and reign as king. Although some of the painful

in indisrections, indiscretions, and sins that darken the pages of tewond Samuel hide

in the background, David's imperfections remain plainly visible. As you read through First

Chronicles, consider what legacy you are leaving behind. How will your children and

their children remember you. Are you leaving your legacy to chance? Or are

All right, so now we will go to the Book of First Chronicles,

chaird teen, Verses one through fourteen for today's Bible reading. Bringing back the

ark, David conferred with each of his officers, the commanders of thousands and

commanders of hundreds. He then said to the whole assembly of Israel, if

it seems good to you, and if it is the will of the Lord,

our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of

our brothers throughout the territories of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites

who are with them in their towns and pasture lands to come and join us.

Let us bring back the Ark of our God back to us, for

we did not inquire of it during the reign of Saul. The whole assembly

agreed to do this because it seemed right to all the people. So David

assembled all the Israelites from the Shahora River the Shahara River in Egypt to lebou

Hamath to bring the Ark of God from kiriyaf Jiim. David and all the

Israelites with him went to beilaan Belah of Judah Karrief Jurim to bring up from

their the Ark of God, the Lord who was enthroned between the Cherubims,

between the Cherubim, the ark that is called by the name. They moved

the Ark of God from Abinadab's house on a new cart, with Uzah and

asked, how can I ever bring the Ark of God to me? He

did not take the ark to be with him in the city of David.

Instead, he took it aside to the house of obed Edom. The good

for three months, and the Lord blessed his household and everything he had amen.

So that is today's by reading First Chronicles chapter thirteen, Versus one through

fourteen. So obviously, with the with the Torah the Lost's commandments, we

Arc of the Covenant, You're supposed to carry it by the poles. That's

this materid, So let us go to the Book of Exodus, chapter twenty

five, verses ten through twenty two. The arc have them make a chest

of acacia wood two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half

wide, and a cubit and a half high. Overlay it with pure gold

both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it. Cast four

gold rings for it and fasten them to four feet with two rings on one

side and two rings on the other. Then make poles of acacia wood and

overlay them with gold. Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of

the chest. To carry it. The poles are to remain in the rings

of this arc. They are not to be removed. Then put in the

ark. Put in the arc the testimony which I will give you. Make

an atonement cover of pure gold two and a half cubics long and a cubit

and a half wide, And make two cherub them out of hammered gold.

At the ends of the cover. Make one cherub on one end and the

second chair up on the other. Make the cherubim of one piece with the

cover at the two ends. The cherubims are to have their wings spread up

upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other

looking toward the cover. Place the cover on top of the arc, and

put in the ark the testimony which I will give you. They're above the

cover, between the two cherubim that are over the arc of the of the

testimony. I will meet with you and give you all my commandments for the

Israelites. All right, so we see the commandments regarding the ark, the

ark of the coming out the most I wanted to be designed, the decorations,

the details on all of that. Okay, So holy objects were very

powerful and with the way the most how I want us to live and go

about things. Okay. So that's the first recommended reading scripture. All right.

So you're supposed to carry the ark by the chust, by the poles,

so it was so holy when you ain't supposed to put your hands on

it. That's how holy it was. Okay. So now we will go

to the Book of Isaiah, chapter six Versus one through eight, Isaiah's commission.

In the year that King Euziah died, King Aziah died, I saw

the Lord seated on the throne, high and exalted, and the train of

his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphims, each with six wings.

With two wings, they covered their faces, with two they covered their

feet, and with two they were flying, and they were calling to one

another. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty. The whole earth

is full of his glory. At the sound of their voices, the door

posts and thrush thresholds shook, and the temple was filled with smoke. Woe

to me, I cried, I am ruined, for I am a man

of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips. And

my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty, that one of the

seraphims flew to me with the live cold in his hand, which he had

taken with tongs from the altar. With it, he touched my mouth and

said, see this has touched your lips. Your guilt is taken away and

your sin atoned for. Then I have heard the voice of the lawyer saying,

whom shall I send and who will go for us? And I said,

here am I to send me amen? So that's the second recommend recommendeding

scripture of the Book of Isaiah, chapter six, verses one through eight.

So Isaiah had a powerful, counter powerful experience, and he saw the seraphims,

you know, he saw the most high. And you see more references

about seraphims in a book of Revelation. You see certain angels described about the

Old Testament, but you see him a lot of it really revealed in the

book Revelation. So we know how powerful all those angels are, you know,

Seraphims, cherubums, all of that. You know. So God is

really really holy man. He truly is. You know, God is holy,

we shall be holy. So we got to always respect him, his

creation and how he established everything from heaven to earth and us as well,

you know, so we got to really always walk in holiness and have respect

and regard for God's presence. You know, Isaiah felt like he wasn't even

worthy enough to be in God's presence. But the Seraphims you know, approached

him and let him know that his guilt was taken away sin as a tone

for you know. So we're down on this earth and it's so filthy and

defiled, and we have a powerful encounter, a holy spiritual accounter a lot

of times, you know, our brains can't wrap around it, you know

what I mean. But God loves us so much and He's always willing to

spare us, and he wants more of us in his presence, you know

what I mean. So we got always acknowledge Him in all of our ways.

Ay man, not understanding I say. It felt like he wasn't even

worthy enough to even just see him or be around him. Because the things

Isaiah's dealing with and the people he's around, but when God reveals them to

you, man, it's a powerful experience and it's hard for to fathom it,

you know what I'm saying. So just always remember to embrace God's presence

either way, no matter how the most High encounters with you through a dream

or vision or what have. You always embraced that moment, you know,

because those moments are always unpredictable and rare. You know, you never know

what the most how is going to just randomly do something for you, or

randomly just talk to you or something. You know, so you always gotta

stay ready for them. Thos a counter amen. So let us always stay

on the upright path and embrace every account He has for us, whether through

a dream, vision or any communication. You know, you always got to

embraced that, all right. So that's the Book of Isaiah, chapter six,

verses one through eight. Now we will go into the Book of Hebrews

chapter twelve, verses eighteen through twenty nine. All right, so here we

go. You have not come to a mountain that can be touched, and

that it's burning with fire, to darkness, gloomous storm, to a trumpet

blast, or to such voice speaking words that voice who that those who heard

it begged that no further word be spoken to them, because they could not

bear what was commanded. If even an animal touched the mountain, it must

be stoned. The site was so terrifying that Moses said, I am trembling

with fear. But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem,

the city of the Living God. You have come to thousands upon thousand

angels and joyful assembly, to the Church of the Firstborn, whose names are

written in Have. And you have come to God, the judge of all

men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus, the

mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better

word than the blood of Abel. See to it that you do not refuse

him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned

them on earth, how much less will we if we turn away from him

who warns us from heaven. At that time his voice shook the earth.

But now he has promised once more, I will shake not only the earth

but also the heavens. The words once more indicate the removing of what can

be shaken, that is, created things, so that what cannot be shaken

may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,

let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably, with reverence and

awe for our God is consuming fire. Amen, how alluyah? There you

have it all right? So those that are recommended ring scriptures. Okay,

now we will get to the actual commentary itself. Right. So a lot

of these commentaries are always used Bible verses and examples, and they kind of

compare with cardinal examples through culch that we lived through. All right. So

the child this commentary is Indiana Jones got it right. Remember the climatic scene

from Raiders of the Lost Arc. After searching for the Ark of the Covenant

and finding it, a group of evil men open the ARC's lid. They

can now receive supernatural power and fortune from it. Instead, the power they

unleashed utterly destroys them. Remember the fire drilling into the soldier's chests and the

melting faces of their saddin of their leaders. But Indy and his heroin knew

better. They refused to look on this act of desecration, and death passes

over them. While you can argue about the flaws and the movie's theology,

this climatic scene powerfully communicates the truth that you shouldn't mess with holy things.

The men moving the ark in David's day met a similar fate God had given

directions about how to transport the ark. These rules extended. These rules existed

to demonstrate God's transcendent nature. He was not to be handled the same as

false gods. The ark was to be carried by poles see Ex's chapter twenty

five, verses twelve through fifteen. God also warned that anyone touching the holy

things would die see the Book of Numbers, chapter four, verse fifteen.

Although God's an act of striking down Uza may seem caprecious or unjust to us

as modern individuals, it was a defense of his holiness. David certainly knew

better than to treat God's divine presence in such a casual manner. If we

respond to Uza's death with outrage, as David did, it only shows the

extent which we misunderstand God's holiness. True God acted in dramatic ways in the

time of David. David, ways that we can't comprehend. Such accounts in

the Old Testament sometimes shock us, but we can't imagine the proverbial bolt of

lightning coming down from heaven to punish us. But this story does illustrate that,

especially in our modern day, we too often approach God without the reverence

and respect his moral perfection demands. As God said through the prophet Isaiah,

this is the one I esteem, He who is humble and contrite in spirit

and trembles at my word. The Book of Isaiah, Chapter sixty six,

Verse two. God won't allow us to treat him casually, although he desires

a relationship with us. We can't reduce God to our level. Amen.

He is who he is people. Amen, he is holy. We shall

be holy. Letus always humble ourselves before the Most High. Always remember that

every tongue shack confess who every knee shot bow down. Amen. So God

to have that respect of humilion meekness with that all right? Things that take

away from the commentary, do you respect or resent God's intense purity? Why?

In what ways are is your worship of God marked by reverence and awe?

How did Jesus death satisfy God's holy wrath? Remember that every knee shop

bow, every tongue shack confess who he is. Okay, we worship the

Most High Spirit and truth. All right. You can't just worship from any

other way in the flesh and all that, y'all worshiping Spirit of Truth,
