definitely, let the Lord keep reveal himself to us more and dreams and visions

and counters communication confirmations anyway. Let the Lord keep giving the signs, miracles

to go through this commentary within the Book of First King's chapter eight, verses

twenty two, twenty two through thirty. Okay, so this is regarded King

Solomon, and we'll just read through that and they will read the recommended reading

the full entire commentary, and then from there we will close out with a

prayer. We will close out with a priestly blessing, and we would close

out give all the praise, honor glory to the Most High God of Abraham,

Isaac and Jacob, and praise is only begudd Son who died for our

sins. Amen, Hall lou y'all praise the Most High. So let us

go to the Book of First Kings, chapter eight, verses twenty two through

thirty. All right, read the whole rest of it. Actually Solomon's prayer

of dedication. Now Solomon stood before the alt of the Lord and from the

whole assembly of Israel, spread out his hands toward heaven and said, O,

Lord, God of Israel, there is no god like you in heaven

above or on earth below. You who keep your covenant of love with your

servants, who continue wholeheartly in your way, You have kept your promise to

your servant, David my father. With your mouth you have promised, and

with your hand you have fulfilled it as it is today. Now, Lord,

God of Israel, keep for your servant David my Father, the promises

you made to him when you said you shall never fail to have a man

to sit before me on the throne of Israel. If only your sons are

careful in all that they do, all that in all they do, to

walk before me as you have done. And now, o God of Israel,

let your word that you promised your servant David my Father come true.

But will God really do well on earth? The heavens, even the highest

heaven, cannot contain you. How much less did this temple I have built.

Yet give attention to your servants prayer and his plea for mercy. Oh

Lord, my God, hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is

praying in your presence this day. May your eyes be open toward this temple

night and day. This place of which you said my name shall be there,

so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays towards this place.

Here, the supplication of your servant and of your people Israel, when they

pray toward this place, hear from heaven you're dwelling place, and when you

hear, forgive all right, right, So that's a very beautiful thing to

say. So we'll just stop it right there. I just wanted to read

the whole tardy of just that section of verse twenty two through thirty, very

excellent of Psalma's prayer of dedication. Okay, so now let us go through

the recommended reading towards this as well. Okay. The recommended reading scriptures is

the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter six, verses one through nine. Love the

Lord your God. These are the commandments, decrees and laws. The Lord

your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are

crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children

after them, may fear the Lord your God as long as you live,

by keeping all his decrees and commandments that I give you, And say that

you may enjoy long life here, oh Israel, and be careful to obey

so that it may go well with you, and that you may increase greatly

in the landflowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord the God of

your Father's promised you. Here o Israel, the Lord, our God is

one. Here O Israel, the Lord, our God, the Lord is

one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your

soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today

are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children, Talk about

them when you sit at home, and when you walk along the road,

when you lie down, and when you get up. Tie them as symbols

on your hands, and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the

door frames of your houses and on your gates. Heymen, hallelujah. One

of the most powerful commandments, to love the Lord your God with all your

heart's, soul, strength, and might. Very powerful. Man. Got

to always apply that in our lives, you know. We got to reflect

and ask ourselves, are we really loving the Lord with all of our mind,

all of our heart, all of our soul, all our strength,

all of our mind. We got to examine ourselves, reflect on our habits,

our day to day living, what we're doing, and ask ourselves is

align with the word. Okay, so I speak for myself and anybody listening,

Okay, all right, So that's the first recommended reading. Now I'm

gonna go into the second recommended reading scripture. Let us go to Deuteronomy chapter

eleven, verses eighteen through twenty one. Fix these words of mine in your

hearts and minds, Tie them as symbols on your hands, and bind them

on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, walking about them when you

sit at home, and when you walk along the road, when you lie

down, and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your

houses and your gates, so that your days, in the days of your

children may be many in the land that the Lord is, that the Lord

swore to give to your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens

are above the earth. All right. So that's Deuteronomy chapter eleven, verses

eighteen through twenty one. Now we would go through the Book of Ephesians chapter

six, verse four. Fathers, do not provoke your children. Instead,

bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Amen. It's

a very powerful one right there. Don't provoke your children. Okay, So

got to be better with parentson out there, any parents out there, got

to be better how you treat your children. Always train them up in the

Lord and the word an example, you said, okay, so it's very

important what rose off on a child? All right? All right, So

now we will get to the actual commentary itself. Okay, the title of

this commentary is like father, like son. If you're a father, have

you ever listened to your kids and thought, oh, man, that sounds

just like me. Why did the children have to copy that trait? Often

it seems that our children exhibit the very qualities we dislike most about ourselves.

Negative behaviors easily transfer from us to our children. Children typically seem to possess

a strong dose of their parents, for better or for worse. Are you

the kind of father who wants to show your children the right way when it

comes to the matters of faith? Unfortunately, there is no secret formula to

passing down a solid spiritual herders to your children. They ultimately have to grab

hold of faith on their own terms and in their own time, or fall

flat sometimes both. While David stands among the great examples of fathers found the

Scripture, he certainly wasn't perfect. He failed often as a king, as

a man of God, and as a father. He sinned in much the

same way he served with boldness or wild heart. Yet in some glorious moments,

David got things right. That's what his son Solomon wondered for himself.

When you lead your children along the path to faith, you want them to

follow further. You hope that they will even discover how to push past your

mistakes. However, none of that will happen if you keep quiet about what

you believe. If you want your children to make decisions with godly faith in

mind, you first need to speak boldly about where you stand. In addition

to talking about your faith, show your children how to serve their Father,

how to serve their heavily Father, their maker joyfully. That involves standing close

to the Lord yourself, and it requires putting both your heart and your shoulder

into everything you do. God honors his promises and vows to remain faithful to

his true servants. You and your children can be a part of God's big,

bold plan. Model for your children what it means to live a life

of hope and love. Teach them the value of putting God first, and

pass to them the brightly burning torch of faith. Amen. Things that take

away from this commentary, how do you teach your children about faith and what

ways do you set an example of service for your children? What promises would

you like to see fulfilled in your children? Amen, people, And we

know David's flaws and Solomon's flaws and what have you. You know, but

these are examples we can learn from how even people in great positions or great

status could even make mistakes and bad choices as well. So we have to

always understand that, you know, God tests us, God refines us,

He purifies us, he corrects us, He straightened us out when we're wrong,

and what have you. So we have to always keep learning, always

be corrected, always be trended in the word every day. We got to

be in that word every time. Day. We got to be repenting every

day. We got to be in prayer. You know what I'm saying.

Because this world and the ways of the world, the influences of the world

is so filthy. But we also got tangled with it through our own choices

and decisions, you know what I'm saying. In certain environments we're in or

dealing with, we get caught up in it as well. So we have

to always repent, crowd to the most high, and turn from our ways.

You know, do better and fix our errors or what have you,

and whatever's out of our control. We trust in the Lord that he'll goide

us through it as well along the way, and think of me, I'm

single with no children, So this is a great read. But you know

this is more for the parents out there. If you're a parent out there,

you're a father, you and mother, you know, raising children these

times that we're in a very difficult and intense the spiritual attack is hard on

the children because we know that the Messiah said that the kingdom haven't belonged to

such as these. The Messiah said, the kingdom belongs to the children.

And we know that the enemy, the kingdom of darkness, goes after children

and their influence and what have you. So, garden, they're protecting your

babies daily, spiritually, physically, just taking care of them is a challenge

for many parents. There's a lot of parents out there who might be widows

or single parents, or you know, whatever the case may be. At

the end of day, parenting is a hard thing spiritually, financially, physically,

emotionally, all different things. That's why the prayers got to always be

up. You know, you put children to the world man, got to

really guard them with your life, man, protect them from the ways of

the world and the influences around them. You know. So it's a huge

challenge in the social media error where there's a lot of lawlessness, a lot

of just distractions. You know, we live in a very distracted society.

We live in a very negative world, man, And teaching children right from

wrong. To your children, righteousness and the word of God and faith is

very important. You know. It's even a commandment that you teach your children

to tou rah. You teach your children the laws, stature commandments. That

was a commandment itself, you know, teaching your children the word of God.

Everything you do, how rubs off on them, you know. And

even Paul in Ephesians, Paul leavens us to you know, don't provoke your

children, you know what I'm saying. So how we exactly as we set

the children, how we treat them, how we talk to them, all

that matters. You know. So a lot of people right now are probably

balaning with parenting or baling with you know, resentment whatnot towards their own parents

or what have you. Everybody got their own family situations and everything. But

we got to handle things by the word Amen, and we got to really

apply the Word of God to our lives. The Messiah even talked about families

and households in the regard of him, saying that he came not to bring

peace, but he came to bring a soul word, you know, and

how he's how he prophesized about what michae or the prophet said regarding your own

family and household, and he said how he came to put mother against daughter,

and father against son, and mother in law against mother, daughter in

law, you know, all these different things. And then Michael talked about

that as well as so the massage is basically saying how being set apart sometimes

it might even start in the family, might even start in the home,

because you might be the only true believer in your householder environment, but others

may not believe it's you. So it takes It's a lot of friction and

conflict that happens with certain people in those situations, you know. So all

along, you know, family has always been a very important aspect of the

Word of God and destruction and foundation of it. And even with Joshua,

Joshua says, for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord.

So to go from Joshua saying me and my household shall serve the Lord to

the messiahs saying I came to put mother against the daughter and father against daughter,

father against son. That just shows you how much the household and the

family structure has been scattered, broken and min's down over generations, over centuries,

you know what I mean. So you know, the Messiah even said,

whoever does the will of my father, that's my mother, that's my

brother, that's my sister. You know. So the way the Messiah was

breaking it down from a spiritual family to your caronophysical family and how the Word

talks about it as well as very important. You know. The Messiah said

that anybody loves their mother their father more than me is not worthy of me,

not worthy of the kingdom. Anybody who loves their sons or daughters more

than me is not worthy of me the kingdom. So we got to understand

how the Messiah even also said that if you leave behind mother, brother,

sister, land, son, daughter, you leave everything behind for my namesake,

for the gospel sake, you gave turn life on one hundredfold. So

we gave turnal life and a hundred times what we left behind where we really

stay faithful to the Messiah, follow them all the way through. So it's

interesting to see the stories and examples throughout the Old Testament, through the scriptures,

and then also see the Los sarch commandments in the Gospel all play hand

in hand regarding this. You know, David and Solomon were kings, but

their flaws and their downfall was visibly shown throughout all Israel. So it just

shows you how contagious sin is, how much it's bad for a king to

sin because it rubs off and everybody else and what have you. So the

accountability and standards that we have to live by man God, to live by

God's word all the way through, you know. So this is just a

commentary seth that we could take and apply to our personal lives. Okay,

But all in all, prayers for all the parents out there, Prayers up

for all of you out there raising children these days of noe that we're living

in, prayers beyond, prayers for those who if you're not a parent or

what have you, just still praise up for all of you, you know,

because the examples we set people are watching, and we got to be

mindful of how we carry ourselves and what we pass on to other people.

always keep doing our thing for the Lord. The Lord's watching the man.

The Messiah intercedes for us. Okay, let's keep making the Messiah happy.
