I know better. As to start off this church, no, let us

go to the Book of Luke chapter one, verses fifty seventh through sixty five.

The birth of John the Baptist. When it was time for Elizabeth to

have her baby, she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives

heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.

On the eighth day, they came to circumcise the child, and they

were going to name him after his father, Zachariah. But his mother spoke

up and said, no, he is to be called John. He actually

Zachariah spoke up and said he used to be called John. They said to

her, there's no one among your relatives who has that name. Then they

made signs to his father to find out what he would like to name the

child. He asked for a writing tablet. To everyone's astonishment, he wrote,

know is good and God. When we learn to separate our experience from God's

attentions, will begin to recognize it was never his intention for me to know

this evil that I now know. That's why we ask things like where it

was God in the middle of this The truth is He is in the middle

of it now because of the way we acted out his plan. But in

his original attention, you would have never known betrayal, heartbreak, etc.

Or such. Room. You can't unknow what you know. God can't make

you unknow what you know, but he can't help you cover what you know.

Some people thank God for what he did and how he blessed them.

I think God for what he didn't do. And there were tears streaming down

my face. That was heartbroken, And six months later I could say it's

a good thing. I was afflicted. If they left you, you didn't

need them. If they walked away, let them walk. They kept on

moving so you could keep growing. Sometimes you just got to thank God.

You can mean it for evil, God means it for good. It felt

like it was evil to not get the job, but God meant it for

good. My mind is trying to make me believe God wasn't in it at

all. What happens when good starts to look evil? What happens when it

felt like God was in it and God was on it it looks good,

then end up looking evil. This is why he doesn't want us to have

the knowledge of evil. The question isn't is it still good? The question

is is it still God? God? Are you still in it? God?

Are you still here? Because at the end of the day, I

don't want to be outside of the will of God. I don't care how

good it is. If it ain't God, I don't want it. I

don't care how much money it is. If it ain't God, I don't

want it. I don't want to settle. I don't want to just settled

for good. I want to know if it's God. If God did it,

he will do it now. If God did it, then he will

do it now. Stuck between good and cannot trust better When all you've known

is disappointment, it's hard to trust better. There are moments when you are

already in a good place, where you're already further out than what your family

could have anticipated. But sometimes it's hard to trust that it can get any

better than this. God says I can do better than that. There's people

in this room who struggle to believe not just that it can get better,

they're struggling to believe what God actually said. God, you said this,

but I don't trust it because I don't feel worthy of it, because I

feel too old or young for it. Yes, you said it. It's

not about what you said. It's about me becoming a person who believes I

can step into what you said. It's not just self sabotage. It's destiny

sabotage. If you don't learn to trust what God said over what you believe,

over your disappointment, over your own insecurity, this is destination. This

is destiny sabotage. If you don't learn to receive it. Your destiny is

on the line. Who I am when I have a knowing is different than

who I am when I'm sitting on defense wondering. When I walk with a

knowing, it doesn't matter what anyone says about it, because I haven't knowing

that God is not a man that he shall lie. I'm not talking about

something that God told me he might do or maybe we'll see, maybe we

don't, we won't. When God gives me a word, I want to

work that word with confidence, power, strategy, and innovation. When I

do my part, God will do the rest. You're walking around second guests

or what God said, trying to understand how can I know this thing?

You got to know it. God is going to mute you so you can't

speak over him. In order to know it, you got to be mute.

You got to stop talking about it. You got to stop second guessing

that you might not be able to speak faith into it. But the least

you can do is shut up. You're speaking your fears until a season that

only requires faith. If you cannot add value to it, then you are

subtracted from it. So the least you can do is be quiet, mute,

is involuntarily silence and stillness. I says, if you get mute,

I'll show you most of us get quiet and shut our heart out and say

I don't want it anyway anymore. You can get mute, but keep your

eyes open and you'll see what I said will start showing up in your life.

All you got to do is be quiet and start watching. The way

that you turn the word into knowing is when you come to a place of

peace. I'm not going to let myself talk myself out of this. I'm

not going to squalify what God said. God said. I got to make

it. Make sure that when I release you, that you release what I

gave you and not what you wanted it to be. That you release what

I gave you and not what they said it should be, and not what

your mama said it should be and what your cousin said it should be.

I want to make sure you don't lose what I gave you when it's time

for it to be released. It's bigger than you. I know better than

to believe that this evil is going to have the last say what I know

better, I do better. It's time for you to take what you know
