were baptized. I pray that you are safe, protected and prayed up.
And I just pray that whatever situation that you're going through, that the Lord
is with you, that he guides you, he protects you, he looks
out for you, he comforts you. I pray that your mental health gets
better and that the Lord gives you a perfect peace and you have a peace
of mind. I pray that you are getting more strong and wise in the
Lord. I pray that you're taking the day by day that you're constantly keeping
Him first. You're staying in alignment, you're staying in his presence, You're
staying in His word, and you're practicing is worth of exercising it and being
a do of the Word. I just pray that you can help as many
people as you can along your journey of life. All right, Yeah,
tells y'all, let us think the Lord for another day. Let us think
the Lord for awaken us up. This morning. Let us thank the Lord
for food in our belly, clothes on our back, of roof, over
our head. Let us take the Lord for protecting us coming in and protecting

consistency is the ability. Let us always be ado of the Word, laying
on the hands, preaching, do what you can to help as much people
as you can't along the journey, make more disciples, and all of that,
ain'tmen. Yes, yes, y'all. Let us do Father's business and
Father's will for the rest of our lives, until the sun comes back.
Ay man, he's coming back like a thief in the night. So oiays,
stay ready, y'all. Always keep your lamps and your oils ready,
aimmen. Yes, yes, y'all. No, so much going on in
the world, but let us keep our eyes fixed on the Lord in his
word. Let us just constantly trust in the Lord. Bless us the person
I trust in the Lord. All right. That's where I hope is.
That's why our strength is in the Lord, not in this world or the
things of the world. All right, we have to stay in the most
highest presence, ammen. Yes, yes, y'all. So at today's message,
we're going to continue our Bible reading series. All right. We finished
off yesterday with the Book of Matthew chapter nine reading. Okay, So what
we're gonna do is we're going to continue on the Book of Matthew chapter ten.
Onward, and then we'll go out with prayer, will close out with
the priestly blessing, and will also close out. Were given all the praise,
honor and glory to the most High God of Abraham, Myskin Jacob,
And praise is only begun Son who died for our sins. Amen, yes,
yes, yea. Also here we go the Book of Matthew chapter ten,
Jesus sends out the twelve. He called his twelve disciples to him and
gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
There are the names. These are the names of the twelve apostles.
First Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew, James son
of Zabeti and his brother John Philip, and Bartholomoo Bartholomo Thomas and Matthew the
task Collector, James son of Alpheus, and Theadius Simon de Ziliot, and
judas Is Scariot Scariot who betrayed him. Those are the disciples. Names are
our disciples apostles. These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions. Do
not go among the gentiles, or enter any town of the Samaritans, go
rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message.
The Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead,
Cleanse those who have let proceed, Drive out demons freely. You have
received freely, freely give. Do not take along any gold of silver or
copper in your belts. Take no back for the journey, or extra tunic
or sandals or staff. For the worker is worth his keep. Whatever town
or village you enter, search for some worthy person there, and stay at
his house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your
greeting. If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it.
If it is not, let your peace return to you. If anyone will
not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet.
When you leave that home or town, I tell you the truth,
It will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomral on the day of judgment than
for that town. I am sending you out sheep among wolves. Therefore,
be as shrewd as snakes, and as innocent as doves, be on your
guard against men. They will hand you over to the local councils and flog
you in their synagogues. On my account, you will be brought before governors
and kings as witnesses to them and to the gentiles. But when they arrest
you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it.
At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not
be you speaking, but the spirit of your father speaking through you. Brother
will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel
against their parents and have them put into death. All men will hate you
because of me, But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. I tell
you the truth. You will not finish going through the cities of Israel before
the son of a man comes. A student is not above his teacher,
nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the student to be
like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If the head of
the house has been called belzebell, how much more members of his household,
So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not
be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell
you in the dark. Speak in the daylight. What is whispered in your
air, proclaimed from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill
the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather be afraid of the one who
can destroy both soul and body. In hell, are not two sparrows sold
for a penny, Yet none, not one of them, will fall to
the ground apart from the will of your father. And even the very hairs
of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid. You are worth
more than many sparrows. Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will acknowledge him
before my father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will
disown him before my father in heaven. Do not suppose that I have come
to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace but
a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father out
or against her mother, a daughter in law against her mother in law.
A man's enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves
his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. Anyone who
loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Anyone
who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses life for my sake
will find it. He who receives you receives me, and he who receives
me receives the one who sent me. Anyone who receives a prophet because he
is a prophet, will receive a prophet's reward, And anyone who receives a
righteous man because he is a righteous man, will receive a righteous man's reward.
And if anyone gives even a cup of a cold water to one of
these little ones, because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth,
he will certainly not lose his reward. Excuse me, all right,
So there you have it. That's the book of Matthew, chapter ten,
Right there, man, man, man, the most high Sun was going
in on that one. So Matthew chapter ten, it just gave an introduction
of the twelve disciples and who the most Highest Sun sent out, and he
was giving them instructions on how to go about it his interests. He said,
do not go up under the Gentiles or any town the Samaritans. But
yet they were around all types of people. Even though they're around the Lawship
of Israel, they're also around different people and nations as well. But then
also throughout the New Testament, it does discuss about teaching all nations baptized and
others. And then Paul goes in a lot more about the Greeks and different
nations too. So all in all, let's not be too hung up on
who's who, you know what I mean, let us just still do the
Most highs will. Let's do fathers will and father's business, and let the
spirit leaders and guide us and not our own understanding, no prejudice, spirits,
no spirit of division or anything like that. Just do what the Most
High Sun call you to do, right, And he's giving them commands also
to go to the lawshep of Israel. Excuse me, because that's the one
Jesus came to restore. And he's also preaching the Kingdom of Heaven is near,
you know, healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansed those who
have leprosy, drive out demons. So he's instructing us to do that.
If you are disciple, that's a command they gave us. And then he
discusses about freely you have received freely you give. He's also saying, do
not take along any gold or silver and your belts. Take no bag for
the journey or extra tunical sound duals for the worker is worth his keeps.
So he's saying, like all the materials that that we bring, don't bring
heavy baggage with you because the journey is already heavy as it is. So
you got to travel light, all right. And you don't want no distractions
when you're moving by the spirit and listening to that still voice, you can't
be occupied with other things that's on you around you, or distracted or things
that's getting your attention the most high. Once all of your attention, your
focus, your obedience and hearing his voice, Regie said, my sheep here
my voice, right, So if you're walking around with a bunch of possessions
and gold and things that could distract you, you're going to be more in
tune with that what's on you, then what's inside of you, and that's
his voice and being led by the spirit, all right. And then he's
also discussing the rules and commands about how to go in certain homes and villages
and if someone's willing to let you stay and welcome you, then greet them
and hospitality whatnot. But if someone doesn't respect you or respect your word will
have you then dust it off and keep it moving, all right, And
that really reflects us currently in our situations. You know, when you go
about spreading the Gospel or spreading his word of doing his will, a few
places you will be accepted and embraced, but most cases you won't be embraced
there because people today don't like accountability, they don't like the word of God.
They don't respect the things of God or his people, or his message
or his word or repentance or changing. People don't want to hear that in
these times that ran people are more impatient, angry, violent, on edge.
So only a few people are going to really receive the Gospel in the
word, and most won't, you know, so Jesus telling us how to
go about it on our journey, so okay, And then he's also disgusting
and pressing charging to his disciples on you know, like having your guard against
men and deal with all types of councils and synagogues and governors and kings and
different types of people, and deal with gentiles of what have you. Then
then he's also discussing about family. He's saying how brother will betray brother to
death and a father's child, and he's really going in about persecution as well,
and just dealing with a lot of things and being firm and daring to
the end so you could be saved, you know. And he's just going
in, man, chapter ten of Matthews a very real read man. The
whole New Testament really is, the whole Bible is, but like chapter ten,
it's a lot one chapter, all right. And he is also going
in about you know, fearing the most high and not fearing man, all
right. And he's also distinguishing the difference between the teacher and the student and
the master and the servant, all right, and to recognize who's who.
And he's also just saying, hey, whoever acknowledges him before my father in
heaven? He said, whoever acknowledges me before men, I would also acknowledge
him before my father. And whoever disowns me before meant I would disown him
before my father. Okay, So always proclaim the Lord and the things of
God in front of everybody. Don't ever be ashamed about your faith of the
Gospel, what your beliefs are. Don't ever feel uneasy about that. You
should be bold and courageous about your faith. Everybody should see your light and
I already know what you stand on. You should not be lukewarm or shy
or passive about what God has done for you and brought you through. Amen.
And then also Jesus discusses, you know, families, household He said,
I didn't come to bringing peace. He came to earth. He didn't
come to bring peace to the earth. He came to bring a sword.
That's an interesting saying because when you read Isaiah chapter nine, verse six,
it says he's the prince of peace. But then we read Matthew chapter ten,
verse thirty four. He's like, hey, I came to bring a
sword, you know. But he's really getting that. It's like, hey,
I came to shake some things up and really to set apart my people
from everybody else. I came to get my set apart people, all right.
So if he got shake up some households to do it, then let
it be. Fathers will be done. So he's saying, I'm gonna turn
man against father, daughter against mother, daughter in law against mother in law,
and man's enemies would be the members of his own household. Man,
man, man that right there. Boy. You know, it's interesting because
when you read the Book of Micah, Michael said that as well. Michael
the prophet, he said that same things. So Christ is repeating that as
well, like you will have all types of divisions and beef over all types
of people and walks of life over the gospel. So Jesus letting you know,
like when you un this narrow path, it gon't even cost you some
of your family members. Now, if you come from a blessed family where
all your family members are believers and saved and delivered, and that's amazing,
awesome. Only a few people in the world have that. Most people don't
have it at all. Most people come from cardinal worldly families, come from
unbelievers. I mean, heck, some people got households. They come from
witches, you know what I'm saying, Like all types of probably tausick or
abusive backgrounds, or alcoholic family members or abusive manipulative parents. I mean,
you know, we don't know each other's all upbringings, you know, but
we all come from different households. Nobody has that TV show sitcom family.
Nobody has that plenty of people, especially in the Body of Christ believers,
they definitely have had some clashes with their families over their faith, over their
beliefs, so have you. And really is Jesus saying, hey, I
came to shake up households. I came to bring a sword. So let
that be because sometimes your own family could get in your way of the things
that God has for you. And it was interested about Matthew. Chapter ten,
Jesus saying like, hey, anybody who loves father or mother more than
me is not worthy of me. And he's said, anyone who loves his
son or daughter more than he's not worthy of me. Man, man,
man. And then he also says, whoever does not take his cross and
follow me is not worthy of me. You know. He says, whoever
finds his life will losing. Whoever loses life from My sake will find it.
So he's basically saying, like, yo, you can't love your parents
more than a heavenly father, more than the Son and the Holy Spirit.
You can't. You can't love that more than him. You can't love your
sons your daughters more than him neither, you know what I mean? And
the thing you got to Remember when Jesus went and got his disciples, they
left everything behind. They left behind their wives, their children, They love
everything behind the follow Jesus. So he's just pressing them and charging them the
cost of following him at what it's going to take, because you can't bring
everybody and everything with you on his journey. This is a narrow path,
so it's only so much room a lot of cases. Is just room for
you, just on an individual aspect, you know, because it's already a
heavy journey. So you gotta walk light, no baggage, no loose strings,
no nothing you got. You gotta be real thorough about this walk with
God. Okay, so um yeah, man, Jesus really going in on
the Book of Matthew chapter ten. Man, we have to really apply that
to our lives and ask ourselves where do we really stand with our denty in
Christ? Are you a disciple or you apostle? Or your a bishop or
a pastor, evangelist, a profit what are you? Right? You have
to find you out denty Christ and stick to it. But you have to
also remember the words of Christ and follow them as well. Okay, let
us be obedient, all right? So that was the book of Matthew chapter
ten, and the whole breakdown of that. Because there's new Testament. We're
not going to skim through this, you know, we're gonna really read it
thoroughly. All right, So now let us go to the Book of Matthew
chapter eleven. All right, the Book of Matthew chapter eleven. Here we
go Jesus and John the Baptist. After Jesus had to finished instructors two have
disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of
Galilee. When John heard him prison what Christ was doing, he sent his
disciple was to ask him, are you the one who was to come?
Or should we expect someone else? Jesus replied, go back and report to
John what you hear, and see the blind received sight, the lame walk,
those who have leprosy are cured the death. Here the dead are raised,
and the good news has preached to the poor. Blesses the man who
does not fall away on account of me. As John's disciples were lead relieving,
Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John. What did you go
out into the desert to see a red swayed by the wind? If not
what did you go out to see a man dressed in fine clothes? No,
those who wear fine clothes are in king's palaces. Then what did you
go out to see a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more
than a prophet, this is the one about whom it is written. I
will send my message ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.
I tell you the truth among those born of women, that has not
risen anyone greater than John the Baptist. Yet he who is least in the
Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he. From the days of John to Baptist,
until now the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advanced, enforceful men lay
hold of it. For all the prophets and law prophesied until John. And
if you're willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come.
He who has ears led him here to what cannot compare this generation.
They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others. We
played the flute for you and you did not dance. We sang a dirge
and you did not mourn. For John came neither eating nor drinking, And
they say he has a demon. The Son of Man came eating and drinking.
They say he is a here is a glutton and a drunkard, a
friend of a task collectors and sinners. But wisdom is proved right by her
actions. Woe on unrepentant cities. Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in
which most of his miracles had been performed because they did not repent. Woe
to you Karazin, Woe to you beth Sada. If the miracles that were
performed in you had been performed to Tyre and Sa'adan, they would have repented
long ago in cycloth and ashes. But I tell you it will be more
bearable for Tyree and Sa'adan on the day of judgment than for you. And
you Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies, No, you
would go down to the depths. If the miracles that were performed in you
had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained till this day. But
I tell you that it would be more bearable for Sodom on the day of
judgment than for you. Rest for the weary. At that time, Jesus
said, I praise you, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, because
you have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed, revealed them
to the little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
All things have been committed to me by my father. No one knows
the son except the father, and no one knows the father except the son.
And those to whom the son chooses to veal him. Come to me,
all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me. If I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
From My yoke is easy, and my burden is like everybody loves your scripture,
right, yes, yes, y'all, His yoke is easy, and
his burden is like that's so amazing, right there, some powerful, amazing
words right there. Very comforting, isn't it. So that's the Book of
Matthew chapter eleven reading. And I'm telling you, the more we get into
this gospel, man, and the more it just makes me smile and just
really reproves me as well edification and everything you know, and it's like wow.
So we're reviewing the Book of Matthew chapter eleven. Well, let's go
look at this commentary, says God watches over the insignificant Matthew chapter ten,
verse twenty nine, are not too sparal so for a penny, Yet not
one of them will fall to the ground. Apart from the will of your
Father. It's something to refle on right there, you know. I mean,
you see Jesus going in about these places, in these cities, and
I just want to go back to Matthew ten, chapter fifteen, real fast,
and he says, I would I tell you that there'll be more bearable
for Salomon Gamore on the day of judgment than for that town. And he
was just also saying that regarded to those who don't accept us when we when
when people don't accept us given the word or the gospel of what we're doing
for God, Jesus saying, those who reject us for it, who reject
our anointing, our word, our service for the Lord and bringing it to
them, he would judge them harsher than the Salomcgamore judgment. So Solomoncgamore that
fire brimstone. So what y'all think they're gonna get right? Makes you reflect.
So when we go through the Book of Matthew, chapter eleven. This
starts off discussing Jesus and John the Baptist. Now Jesus had his ministry and
his disciples, and John the Baptist had his ministry as disciples as well,
and it's just going on about how they're both having their interactions. And when
Jesus was out and about structing disciples and went to Galilei and teaching and preaching
in the towns, John was in prison. You know. So John a
Baptist, he was actually locked up. Man. So I'm telling you these
people, of them, these men are the most high. They went through
so much. Man, these people were persecuted. It was imprisoned. Man.
They was beating up. Man. They went through all types of stuff.
Man. That's what the that's what the gospel does. That's what the
will of Father gets you in this evil, violent world. You know.
So John just heard about what Christ was doing and he sent his disciples towards
him, and it was just communicating through that and going from there, and
everything was coming to past. The blind was receiving the sight, the lane
was walking, those who at leprosy were cured, the death was able to
hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the
poor and blesses the man who does not fall away on account of me,
you know. And Jesus and John are talking, and then it also goes
back to the prophet saying, and I would send my message ahead of you,
who would prepare your way before you? All right, So it goes
from there. It goes from there. And then also Jesus goes more in
the detail about the Kingdom of Heaven. And it's interesting he says that,
I tell you the truth, among those born of women, there has not
risen anyone greater than John the Baptist. Yet he who was leasing the Kingdom
of Heaven is greater than he, ain't That's something. So what you was
trying to get at when it comes to that of the Kingdom of Heaven or
whatnot, he's saying, like, it's not really about elitism or like a
category or a ladder or anything like that. A lot of times people base
things off of a person's power and status and weight they hold in the Kingdom
of Heaven. But Jesus was trying to tear down that type of thinking,
that elitist mindset and just saying, like, when it comes to the kingdom
of Heaven. It's really about serving God with sincerety and truth and just really
doing his will. It's not always based on who could preach better, who
got more power better, who could do this or that better. Jesus had
to put an end to all because too many people have that comparison competitive mindset.
Remember, we're all running the same race, So there's you know what
I mean, that's not it's not that type of race, you know what
I'm saying. So Jeez had to just make that distinction and discussing the profits
and the laws that prophesies until John, you know, and he say how
the Kingdom of Heaven stuffers violence, you know, And he's also saying how
he is the Elijah who is to come. You get what I'm saying.
And I talked about this in like a pretty I think a few other messages
when I saw him about how Elijah, Isaiah, John, the Baptist,
Malachi, Jeez, they all have that connection within one another when it comes
to prophecy and the timelines and build ups for one another. Like Elijah was
to build up for the rest of the prophets, and then the rest of
the prophits were to build up towards John the Baptist in Christ, you know.
So it's like an order historically time wine wy. So it was beautiful
how God alliance his people to do his will. And it is how much
so much things to get done just to one person alone. Imagine how much
more can get done through many when people are coming together. Amen. Because
Elijah the Prophet was a very powerful man, but he was kind of solo
a lot of times. But in certain cases he'll be around a few people,
but then he was around a listia. And look what Elijah and Lisia
were able to accomplish together, right with their time being short together, still
God's presence was definitely on them too heavy. And then you see what God
is doing through John and Jesus and his disciples. See, even John had
disciples as blessed and strong and mighty as John the Baptist was. He even
had disciples, so he couldn't even do it all by himself, all on
his own. He definitely needed God, the Son the Holy Spirit, but
he definitely needs some disciples, you know. And Jesus as of course,
as awesome amazing as he is, he even needed disciples. So teamwork makes
the dreamwork. Oh, y'all know how that phrase teamwork is important, man,
Unity is important, man, the body of Christ. We gotta be
more together when it comes to pushing out the word healing, casting out unclean
spirits, doing father's business. Man, we gotta be more together. We
cannot have that spirit of division. Man. We cannot have that discord.
Satan loves that. Satan loves discord, beef strife, Satan digs for that.
You can't give into that yard. We gotta learn how to come together
on things, agree or disagree what have you, and be understanding of one
another with different views of what have you. That that spirit of division is
heavy on people today. It's heavy on a lot of churches, ministries,
congregations it. Amen. We gotta be together for the Lord. Man.
The Lord loves when his people are together. Amen. So it's very important
that we stick together. Okay. And as we go through the Book of
Matthew chapter eleven, you know Jesus also going about saying how people were judging
him because he was eating a drink and they called him a glutton and a
drunkard, and saying he's a friend of task collectors and sinners, and Jesus
just calling how people are so up iny and self righteous. But he really
he's talking about those scribes, those law debaters and those pharisees what have you.
Um, yeah, and they and they called John saying he had a
demon too. So persecution and name calling, that just comes along with it,
Like Alicia got made fun of John, Jesus Like, that's what comes
with this walk with God. You get mocked, you get made fun of.
People talk, crazy verbal assaults, accusations, false false swearing, allegations,
just just random, immature, petty stuff. That's just what comes along
with it. So you gotta have strong character. Um, you gotta have
thick skin. You gotta be mentally strong when you're dealing with this stuff.
You know, because those type of attacks are spiritual, emotional, mental,
verbal as well, because most attacks are like verbal. You get what I'm
saying, like words or how somebody say it, and what have you.
But let us be firm in the in the word, ain't man. Let
us be his words the most important name, not the opinion of others.
Okay. And then, as Matthew Levin goes forward, Jesus was denouncing those
cities as correct, Chorizon and Besada and Kapepernam, and he was denouncing these
cities and going at them because when Jesus did works and miracles in those cities,
those people still didn't repent. So Jesus was just really going at them
for that, really rebuking them and what have you. And that's the thing,
man, like a person can do something for you and they still won't
appreciate it or be grateful for it, neither will they turn from their ways
about it as well. You know, people are just takers, but people
don't want to change. They don't want to change their ways. So that's
why that's what got Jesus angry about that. But remember that the scriptures does
describe as Jesus being a man of sorrows, so it made him really sad
at the end of day when he would go out his way to do a
miracle for somebody, to heal somebody, and then they still wouldn't want to
repent or change from their ways. Only a few individus Jews did, but
most places in most cities like beth Sayda and Chorison and Cappernum, they didn't.
They didn't want to change their ways. So that's crazy, right.
A n GS just goes in about the rest for the weary, and now
we will get our rest man, you know, like the spiritual warfare is
intense and very hectic. Man, but we will have that piece, that
joy that will balance it all out. Amen. We will have that sure
rest that the Lord promises us and those green pastures. Amen. So or
it's keep that in mind, all right. Remember his yoke is easy and
his burden is like never forget that, all right. So that's the Book
of Matthew, chapter eleven reading. What I would love to do before we
get to Matthew chapter twelve, I would like to read this commentary, all
right, that was included, all right, So here we go, okay.
Bible Commentary, Thursday. Today's Bible reading Matthew chapter eleven, verses twenty
five through twenty seven. Recommended reading the Book of Luke chapter eleven, verses
one through thirteen, the Book of Romans chapter eight, verses eight, twelve
through seventeen, the Book of Hebrews chapter five, verses one through ten.
The Bible Commentary abba, whatever the external manifestations were, the baptism of Jesus

compassionate and forgiving, as laughter of the morning and comfort of the night.
Abba a colloquial a colloquial aquil. Sorry Camp announced that word call a
quil form of address used by little Jews children toward their fathers and translated Papa
or Daddy opened up the possibility of undreamed, of, unheard of intimacy with
God. In any other great world religion, it is unthinkable to address Almighty

share in the intimacy of Jesus with his Father. We are called to live
and to celebrate the same freedom that made Jesus so attractive and authentic. Brennan
manning to take away, how does viewing God as a father, affect how

Okay, now let us go into the Book of Matthew, chapter twelve.
Here we go, Lord of Sabbath. At that time Jesus went through this
grain fields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some
heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said
to him, look, your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.
He answered, haven't you read what David did when he and his companions
were hungry. He entered the House of God, and he and his companions
ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for them to do, but
only for the priest or. Haven't you read in the law that on the
Sabbath the priest and the temple desecrate the day, and yet are innocent.
I tell you that one greater than the temple is here. If you had
known what these words mean, I desire mercy, not sacrifice, you would
not have condemned the innocent. The son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.
Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, and a
man with a shriveled hand was there, looking for a reason to accuse Jesus.
They asked him, is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? He
said to them, if any of you has a sheep, and it falls
into a pit on the sabbath, will you not take hold of it and
lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep?
Hey, Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. Then he
said to the man, stretch out your hand. So he stretched it out,
and it was completely restored. Hey, hallelujah, just as sound as
the other. But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
Oh boy, God has chosen to serve him. Aware of this,
Jesus withdrew from that place. Man. He followed him, and he healed
all their sick all their sicknesses, warning them not to tell who he was.
This was to fulfill what spoken or was spoken through the prophet Isaiah.
Here is my servant, whom I have chosen the one I love in whom
I delight, I will put my spirit on him, and he will proclaim
justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out. No one
will hear his voice in the streets. God gives rest to the weary.
There's just another included commentary that was in the Book of Matthew eleven twenty eight
were read it real fast. Come to me, all you who are weary
and burdened, and I will give you rest. All right, So let's
continue Matthew Chapter twelve, verses twenty and onward. A bruised read he will
not break, and a smolder and wick he will not snuff out till he
leads justice to victory. In his name, the nations will put their hope
Jesus and bells abub Then they brought him a demon possessed man who was blind
and mute, and Jesus healed him so that he could both talk and see.
All the people were astonished and said, could this be the son of
David? But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, it is only
by Belzebo, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.
Jesus knew their thoughts had said to them, every kingdom divided against himself will
be ruined, And every city or a household divide against himself will not stand.
If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself, how then
can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Belzebub, by
whom do your people drive them out? So then they will be your judges.
But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the
Kingdom of God has come upon you. M Or again, How can anyone
enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up
the strong man, then he can rob his house. He who is not
with me is against me, And he who does not gather with me scatters.
So I tell you every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but
the blasphemy against the Spirit, against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son and Man will be forgiven. But
anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven, either in this
age or in the age to come. M make a tree good and its
fruit will be good, or make a tree bad, and its fruit will
be bad, For a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brew the
vipers. How can you, who are evil say anything good? For out
of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good
things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings
evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I'll tell you
that men will have to give and count on the day of judgment for every
careless where they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted,
and by your words you will be condemned. The sign of Jonah that some
of the pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, Teacher, we
want to see a miraculous sign from you, He answered, a wicked and
adulterous generation asked for a miraculous sign. But none will be given except the
sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights
in the belly of a huge fish, so the son of Man would be
three day and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of
nineve will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for
they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah's here.
The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and
condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to
Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here. When an evil
spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and
does not find it. Then it says, I'll return to the house I
left. When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean,
and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits,
more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And
the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That's how it
would be with this wicked generation. Pooh Man, Jesus, mother and brothers.
While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brother stood
outside wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, your mother and brothers
are standing out, so I wanted to speak to you. He replied to
him, who is my mother and who are my brothers? Point to his
disciples, he said, here my mother and my brothers. For whoever does
the will of my father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.
Who, oh my goodness, boy, that is the book of Matthew chapter
twelve. Man he went in, Man, he went in on that one.
M I'm gonna definitely go through this one. We got to review that
one, because that one, Matthew chapter twelve Man man, man, and
a lot the unpacked her and that man. This word man. When the
more you read the word, the more you just start to smile at it,
and the more you just be like, wow, you know this is
this is just crazy, all right. So let's go over to Matthew chapter
twelve, right discause it's how the Lord he's he's the Lord of the Sabbath,
okay, and how the Pharisees were tripping on him because of him,
you know, doing good on the SA. But they, you know,
those law debaters and the Pharisees and the scribes, they were really nit picky.
They're very petty and immature and over the top and self righteous about everything.
They're basically stalking Jesus and you know, trying to hold something against them
to find that aha moment. You get what I'm saying. But I couldn't
hit him with that, you know what I'm saying, because Jeeves never brought
the laws that the commandments, he fulfilled it. So he did every commandment
that there was everyone okay, and remember you can't there's no wisdom or council
against the Lord, you do, you know what I'm saying, Because people
always fish for an argument or a debate or trying to prove a point so
bad and try to get you in the aha moment that people live for.
That A lot of people to this day they got that Pharisee spirit on them
hard. They got that scribe law debater spirit hard. You see it on
the internet like crazy. You see it with these camps on the corners.
Yeah, it's a man, it's it's everywhere. It's a very contagious spirit
to have. You know what I mean that that mindset right. But Jesus
was just saying that it's good to do it's all right to do good on
the Sabbath, you know what I mean. He requires he desires mercy,
not sacrifice or remember that. And he even brings up to what the priest
did, what the consecrated bread. And he also brought up what David didn't
the Sabbath in the House of God, in the Temple of God. So
you know, Jesus went all the way back to the law about it and
the history of it and what people didn't what accounts they did towards the Sabbath,
all right, and he's just saying, therefore, it is lawful to
do good on the Sabbath. You know. He made that example like,
hey, if a sheep falls into a pit on the Sabbath, you're gonna
gonna let you, gonna let us sit there, You're gonna lift it out
right, so that it proves a very great point. And he also healed
the man with the withered hand in the synagogue. You know, So as
long as you're doing good on the Sabbath, to do a good service for
the Lord, that's important, all right. It's not to disregard the Sabbath
and the meaning of essence of it. And he's just saying keeping it holy,
you know. Now continues the Book of Matthew, chapter twelve. And
mind you, after he had restored that man's hand, he healed it.
The Pharisees even went to the plot and kill this man. So like when
you're walking in that power of God, when you're really in the healing and
deliverance and you in that lane, you know, people donna want to kill
you over that. Like that's how serious this stuff is. Man like that
spirit of jealousy, that that malice spirit, that spirit of anger. That's
what I remember. The Kingdom of Heaven suffer suffer violence. So you know
people are gonna want to put hands on this over the things we say and
do that are according to the word of God. All right. So it
just goes on and on the Book of Matthew, chapter twelve, God's chosen
servant, and then he talks about what the prophet Isaiah said about it.
That it goes in about Jesus and Belza Belb and when he was casting out
in healing and people were amazed at the Pharisees came jealous and was like,
oh, he's casting him out of Belza Belb and then Jesus hits him with
the you know, the sayings of every king divide against itself will be ruined
and a household divider can't stand you know. He proved them wrong with that
and what have you. You know, So that was a very important saying.
And Jesus also saying like, hey, if you blaspheim against me,
it's forgiven. But if you blasphem against the Holy Spirit, you'll never be
forgiven. That's how serious it is. That's the unforgivable sin, blasphem against
the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is very serious. So when you
go against something like that, there's no forgiveness or grace about that, all
right. So people gotta be careful and mindful when they be talking crazy or
saying loose stuff. Man. You know, but a lot of people I
heard naturally blasphem's just really dark. So you know, don't blasphem against the
Holy Spirit, man, or something you do not do? All right.
We got to really spread the gospel out here, man, because people really
need to fear the Lord and humble themselves out here. Okay. And in
more, in chapter twelve of Matthew, Jesus goes in about a good tree
producing good fruit and a bad tree producing bad fruit, and things of that
nature, and also discussing about judgment as well, all right, and how
well good things come from a good place and how badanies come from a bad
place. And then Jeez also described the signs of the Sign of Jonah because
the Pharisees, the teachers of the law that came him saying like, hey,
can we see a miraculous sign from you? Right, he hits him
with the hey, wicked, adulterous generation asking for a miraculous sign. But
he brings up Jonah all right, and it gets really interesting because he's saying,
how as the prophet Jonah was in the belly of a fish, belly
of a big debaset for three days and three nights, how Jesus will go
to the core of earth, will hell and get the keys of death and
come back right, Jesus resurrection. All of that, he also goes further
than the details said the men of nineve will stand up at the judgment with
the generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah.
And now one graded in Jonah's here, right, And then he brings up
the queen of the South. He's talking about Sheba coming from Ethiopia, will
rise at the judgment with the generation and condemn it. Before she came from
the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom. And now one grad
and Solomon's here. So he's comparing and contrasting these ancient historical things that happened
in the timelines of how when Jonah preached and said judgment towards the Innova,
they repented from that when God was about to when God told him to go
to the innovey, they repented and it was all good. And Sheba,
she came all the way out of Ethiopia to go see Solomon in his wisdom,
and she listened and was respecting it. But what the sign of the
of Jesus is that Jesus is gonna keep giving out He gave us the Gospel,
gave us his word, all these promises, but many people won't pat
you see what I'm saying. So that's why he called it a wicked and
adulterish generation, because even if I give out signs, if I give all
these things, they still won't repent from him. So that's very powerful,
man, It's very powerful. That's crazy, you know. And Jesus also
saying comparing himself, just making correlations between him and Jonah and him and Solomon,
because he's just saying how Jonah was a prophet who was you know,
had his ways about obedience, and then Solomon as a king, he had
his ways as well. But people respected Jonah and Solomon Jesus did all the
things they did, and he was despised and rejected by men. That's crazy,
right, Like the person who's giving you eternal life and a hundredfold ever
lasting life, you know, giving you all that, and you still don't
want to follow that. That's crazy because Jonah wasn't given that. Jonah was
just a prophet, and Solomon was a king. Solomon wasn't a man of
salvation anything like that. So it just shows you how much you could do
signs and miracles and wonders and the things of God in front of people over
and over and people still won't get it. Their hearts are still stone,
you know, through all of this, only a few people will get it.
So when you're spreading the word, you're spreading the gospel, you're doing
the things of God, you always got to remind yourself that only a few
actually get it. Right. And the Book of Matthew chapter twelve, it
goes further about family, describing Jesus mothers and brothers, and they say,
hey, your mothers and your brothers outside waiting for you. I want to
speak to him. And just like, hey, whoever does the will of
my father is my brother and my sister and my mother. So he's saying
he made that clear distinction between your spiritual family and your physical family. Hey,
that right. There's some serious business right there, ain't it. Father's
business is serious, Okay. Your earthly family, that's just blood. Those
who you fellowship with, those who you pray with, your congregation, you
know, those doing the will of Father with you. Man, that's your
brother and sister, all right. So we all have to be doing the
will of the Father. We all have to be doing the will of God.
Man. That's what makes us family and the Body of Christ, say
man, Because like I said earlier, many of us come from so much
different backgrounds and walk of lives and prior generational curses and taxi upholds upbringings and
households that it's unfruitful. You get what I'm saying. When you come from
generational curses, or you come from abusive or a manipulate of a taxi upbringings,
there's no goodness out of that. But when you come into the Body
of Christ, when you come into the Lord, when you come to your
spiritual family, watch how God restores you and heals you and refines you and
purifies you and make you his You know what I'm saying. So spiritual family,
what's good? What's good? All right? So that is the Book
of Matthew. Excuse me, that's the Book of Matthew, chapter twelve.
Reading right there. Now, let us go into the Book of Matthew chapter
thirteen. All right, the Book of Matthew chapter thirteen. Here we go,
all right, Matthew chapter thirteen, The Parable of the Sower, of
the Sour of the Sower. That same day Jesus went out of the house
and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got
into a boat and sat in it while all the people stood on the shore.
Then he told them many things in parables, saying a farmer went out
to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along
the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on
rocky places where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because
the soil was shallow. But when the sun came, the plants were scorched
and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns,
which grew up and choked the plants. Still, other seed fell on good
soil where it produced a crop one hundred sixty or thirty times that was sown.
He who asked ears let him here. The disciples came to him and
asked, why do you speak to the people in parables. He replied,
the knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven has been given to you,
but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he
will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will
be taken from him. This is why I speak to them in parables.
Though seeing they do not see, Though hearing they do not hear or understand.
And them is fulfilled by the fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah. You will
ever be hearing, but never understanding. You will ever be ever seeing,
but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become coloused. They hardly hear
with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see
it with their eyes. They might see with their eyes, hear with their
ears, understand with their hearts, and turning, I will, and I
would heal them. But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your
ears because they hear. I tell you the truth. Many prophets and righteous
men long to see what you see but did not see it, and to
hear what you hear, but did not hear it. Listen, then,
to what the parable of the sower means. When anyone hears the message about
the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away
what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man
who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he
has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution
comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who received
the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word,
but the worries of his life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making
it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil
is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop
yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Mm the parable
of the weeds. Jesus told him another parable. The kingdom of Heaven is
like a man who sowed good seed in his field, But while everyone was
sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among that wheat, among the wheat,
and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the
weeds also appeared. The owner's servants came to him and said, Sir,
din't you so good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come
from? An enemy? Did this? He replied? The servants ask him,
do you want us to go and pull them up? No, he
answered, because while you were pulling the weeds. While you were pulling the
weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together
until the harvest. At that time, I will tell the harvesters, first
collect the weeds to tie them in bundles to be burned. Then gather the
wheat and bring it into my barn. The parables of the mustard seed and
the yeast, he told them another parable. The Kingdom of Heaven is like
a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in this field. Though
it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it
is the largest of the garden. The largest of garden plants have become a
te so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.
He told them still another power. He told them, still another parable.
The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed it to
a large amount of flower, until it worked all through the dome. Jesus
spoke all these things to the crowd and parables. He did not say anything
to them without using the parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the
prophet. I will open my mouth in parables. I will utter things hidden
since the creation of the world. The parable of the weeds explained. Then
he left the crowd and went to the house. His disciples came to him
and said, explained to us the parable of the weeds in the field.
He answered, the one who sold the good seed is the son of man.
The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons
of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and
the enemy who sows them is the devil the heart. The harvest is the
end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. As the weeds are
pulled up and burned in fire, so it will be at the end of
the age, the Son of Man will send out his angels, and they
will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin, and all who do
evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the son and
the kingdom of their father. He who has ears let him here. Hey
know the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl. The King of Heaven
is like treasure hidden in the field. When a man found it, he
hit it again, and then his joy went and sold all he had and
brought that field again. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for
fine pearls. When he found one of the great value, he went away
and sold everything he had and brought it and brought it the parable of the
net once again. The King of Heaven is like a net that was let
down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. It was full.
The fisherman pulled it up on the shore. Then he sat down and collected
the good fishing baskets, but threw the bad away. This hillo would be
at the end of the age. The angels would come and separate the wicked
from the righteous, and throw them into the fiery furnace, where they would
be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Have you understood all these things? Jesus
asked, yes, they replied. He said to them, therefore, every
teacher of the law who has been instructed about the Kingdom of heaveness, like
the owner of a house who brings out of a storeroom new treasures, as
well as old a prophet without honor. When Jesus had finished these parables,
he moved on from there, coming to his hometown. He began teaching the
people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. Where did this man get
this wisdom and these miraculous powers? They asked, isn't this the carpenter's son.
Isn't his mother's name Mary? And aren't his brothers James, Joseph,
Simon, and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did
this man get all these things? And they took offense at him. But
Jesus said to them, only in his hometown and in his own hope and
his own house is a prophet without honor. And he did not do many
miracles there because of their lack of faith. Wow Ain't that's something? All
right? So that's the Book of Matthew, chapter thirteen reading right there.
Man, man, man, I'm parables hit, don't they? So before
I go into the review in commentary of Matthew chapter thirteen, I want to
just go right back to the Book of Matthew chapter twelve, verse forty three,
all the way to forty five. And this is interesting because this is
also discussing about the sign of Jonah, right, But this correlation and connection
is also discussing about when the press has evil spirits and how they leave and
come back or re enter a person, and also how a press has unclean
spirits within them. All right, Just want to repeat that it says when
an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places,
seek and rest, and does not find it. Then it says, I
will return to the house I left. When it arrives, it finds the
house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order, and it goes. It
takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in
and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the
first. That's how it would be with this wicked generation So that kind of
shows how like when people have multiple demons or multiple spirits, unclean spirits,
evil spirits within them, how they tend to add on because when once one
comes in it goes out, they bring back seven more. You know.
Also made a reference about how Mary Magdalene she had like seven demons on her
seven unclean spirits on her right, and Jesus is able to cast it out.
So there's plenty of people out there who have you know, one,
two, seven, probably multiple unclean spirits within them. So we have to
really deliver people cast out demons, classed out unclean spirits. But when Jesus
was talking about this, he was referencing not just the healing deliverance aspect of
it, but he was talking about within the sign of Jonah and they find
condition of that man's worth in the first That's how it will be with this
wicked generation. So evil has always existed since ancient times, but the wickedness
of this generation that we're currently in at seven times actually worse than the first
state of it. You get what I'm saying, Because remember the correlation of
the days of Noah and these times that we're in are gonna be seven times
worse than what happened before. So we're gonna see things worse than sawdom Ago,
more worse than the days of Noah, worse than days of Jega.
But we're gonna see things several times worse than that, all right. So
we have to endurance stay strong in these times, y'all. You know we're
gonna have to see it all before Jesus come back. It's gonna get really
weird and strange and really hectic, all right, So have to keep on
the armor of God. People have to keep on the armor of God.
Okay. So I just want to revisit that Matthew chapter twelve, verse forty
three through forty five. Okay, now, the commentary interview on Matthew chapter
thirteen. It was mostly full of parables, right, So Jesus was by
the leg and pitching on the boat and just speaking to my parables, and
the disciples just kept asking them, like why do you keep speaking to these
people in parables? And He's just saying like, hey, man, prophecy
has been fulfilled, and you should be grateful and beneficial that you guys are
able to see the understand it. But they won't, you know. That's
kind of how it goes sometimes even not even just what parables, but also
just life in general. You could speak things to people plainly and they still
won't get it. Everybody doesn't have the same understanding level of the same site
or vision or perception or receiving understanding things as well. People are selective listeners.
So that's the thing, right. And Jesus made many parables about the
sword, right, and he's just talking about how you know, sowing a
seed on good soil, it brings out good fruits. You know what I
mean? You know one hundred sixty thirty times what was sown, all right,
So it's important that we are the good examples of all these parables.
You don't want to be like the the examples of these parables that he was
explaining. But he was breaking down all the types of people when it comes
to this word or the goodness of the Kingdom of Heaven or the word are
going about obeying God. He had to say it in parables because the easiest
kind of poetic, metaphoric way to explain it. You know, he was
very creative with the word and how to share it with people. Okay,
And Jesus is telling them that bless are their eyes and theirs and their ears,
for they have heard and see the things that many prophets and righteous men
long to see but couldn't. So the disciples were very beneficial and grateful for
having to be around Christ and on the earth to have that first hand experience,
hands on experence with those things up front, all right. So it
goes more into detail about every parable, you know what I'm saying, And
it also describes the parables of the weeds and saying how in the end times,
how the Most house and out his angels to throw away the wicked and
preserve and keep the righteous, all right, So you know that's all prophets
throughout Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Joel Malachi and all that. But it
definitely, of course, the Book of Revelation, like the Book of Revelation,
definitely details that the Most and we all know how Michael, He's gonna
play a huge part in defeating Satan and casting him down, and all those
faller angels and the wicked doers will also go down with them in the lake
of fire eternified things like that, because you know, Jez compares us to
wheat and He compares the rest of them to to thorns and stuff and weeds
and thorns. Right, So you gotta remember that that's the thing of us
being in this evil world. You know, as we're in this evil world,
we have to stay good for the Lord so we could be preserved at
the end. So that's what most of these parables is kind of breaking down
as well. And Jesus is also saying with the parables, as the wicked
are are going to be thrown in the fiery furnace and will be weeping and
nashing and teeth. He's just saying, He's saying, how the righteous will
shine like the son the kingdom of their father. You know. He says,
let him who has ears, let him here, you know what I'm
saying. And he also goes more further through the parables. He also discusses
about how a prophet is without honor, and he said, how only in
his own only in his hometown and in his own house, as a prophet
without honor, all right, So a prophet is not respected within their own
land or country or turf. So any person who's in this walk with the
most high in this journey, when you go about spreading the gospel and staying
on this neural path. When you try to revisit your path or revisit familiar
places or familiar people, you won't be accepted or embraced there. Right,
Jus and disciples went through that heavy, so we're gonna deal with that as
well. You might be from a certain place or city that grew up or
raised there, but when you try to go back there as a new creature
in Christ, as a new man, as a new woman of God,
people won't take that lightly or accepted because people tend to look at the old
version of you and they'll always hold you for your past and be like,
well, you used to do this, you used to do that, and
now you're talking about God. Now you're talking about Jesus. You see,
That's that's what. But people on these last days are gonna be dealing with
many of you all probably have already been dealing with this, all right.
So Jesus just explaining that as well. And it was so crazy because as
Jesus was going through this, they kept questioning him in the synagogues. They
kept like going against him and holding things over his head, like, oh,
isn't he a carpenter? How does he have all his power? How
is he doing all his teaching? And how is he able to walk with
his power? So it was a lot of envy, jealousy, you know,
malicious energy, very treacherous kind of talk, you know, just very
minimizing him, you get what I'm saying, belittling him, talking down on
him, talking about his family like, oh, aren't his brothers James,
Joseph, Simon and his sisters with us? And see that? You know
how that, You know how people talk like that. They just bring up
all the familiar stuff, your past, your connections where you're related to your
upbringing, and they want to hold it against you. When you're walking in
that power of God, when you're walking in that new creation of Christ that
God made you to be, when people see you as purified and refined,
they're not gonna they're not gonna be willing to accept you like that, you
know what I'm saying. So that was that, And it also described how
in the Book of Matthew, chapter thirteen, verse fifty eight, it says
he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith, man,
man man. He cain't do nothing for them because he ain't no faith.
Wow, we should really reflect on that. We'd be sent here wondering
why our life is the way it is. Right now, where's that faith?
Don't question why nothing happening your life? Question your faith? Where's the
faith? You see? You can't please God without faith. You know.
When Jesus was healing and doing those things for people, they had great faith.
When the blind men they followed Jesus, they had faith. They knew
their vision could be healed, their sight could be healed or restored. When
the man had with a withered hand, he knew Jesus could restore it,
you see. But when people have jealousy, hate and envy, they block
their own blessings. They don't even have no faith because they're full of envy
and hate. And you can't mix of faith and hate. You can't mix
those things. Okay, So you can't have hate in your heart and jealousy
and envy, covetousness and malicious intentions and expect God to work in your life
or expect God to do great miraculous things for you. You see. So
that was the Book of Matthew, chapter thirteen reading right there, man,
very very powerful reading. All these readings are powerful. But the more I
just keep reading the Gospel, the more it just hits you know what I
mean. And now we will go into the Book of Matthew chapter fourteen.
All right, the Book of Matthew chapter fourteen. Here we go. John
the Baptists beheaded At that time Herod King Herod Harod, the the king heard
the reports about Jesus, and he said to his attendance, this is John
the Baptist. He has risen from the dead. That is why miraculous powers
work are at work in him. Now Herod had arrested John and bound him
and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, for
John had been saying to him, it is not lawful for you to have
her. Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of the people
because they considered him a prophet. On Herod's birthday, the daughter of Herodias
danced for them and pleased Herod so much that he promised with an oath to
give her whatever she asked, prompted by her mother, and she said,
give me here on a platter, the head of John the Baptist. The
king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests. He
ordered that her request be granted and had John beheaded in the prison. His
head was brought in on a platter and given to the girl, who carried
it to her mother. John's disciples came and took his and buried it.
Then they went and told Jesus, my goodness. Jesus feeds to five thousand.
When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by both privately to a
solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the
towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on
them and healed their sick their sicknesses. I just want to read this commentary
the Book of Matthew, chapter fourteen, verse fourteen. God has compassion.
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and
healed their sicknesses. Let's continue the Book of Matthew, chapter fourteen, verse
fifteen. As even in approach, the disciples came to him and said,
this is a remote place and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away
so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food. Jesus replied,
they don't need to go away. You give them something to eat.
We have here, only five loaves of bread and two fish, they answered.
Bring them here to me, he said, and he directed the people
to sit down on the grass, Taking the five loaves and the two fish,
and looking up to Heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves,
and he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the
people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve
baskets full of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who
ate was about five thousand men, besides the women and children. Jesus walks
on the water. Immediately, Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and
go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.
After he had dismissed them, he went up on the mountain side by
himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, but the
boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the
wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went
on. Jesus went out to them walking on the lake. When the disciples
saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. It's a ghost,
they said, and cried out in fear. But jess amelily said to them,
take courage at his eye. Don't be afraid. Lord, if it's
you, Peter replied, tell me to come to you on the water.
Come, he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked
on the water and came towards Jesus. But when he saw the wind,
he was afraid and began to sink. Cried out, Lord, save me.
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him, you of little faith,
He said, why did you doubt? And when they climbed into the
boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped
him, saying, truly you are the son of God. Why. When
they had crossed over, they landed at Gennis said. Gennis said, And
when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the
surrounding country. People brought all their sickness to him, all their sicknesses to
him, and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his
cloak. Touches garment. All who touched him were healed. Yes, yes,
y'all. So that's the Book of Matthew chapter fourteen reading. So this
takes a turn, man, this gets really really tricky. Right. So
Matthew chapter fourteen, it starts off with John the Baptists getting beheaded. So
this is just crazy how John went out? Man, yeah, man,
So John the Baptist he really rebuked and really reprooved and went against Herod and
the whole family about that whole incesting and the whole second wife marriage situation.
So John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded for that. Man, that's just
real, wicked man, we deal with these evil people. Man, oh
man, you know what I'm saying. But that's a clear example what happens
when you stand firm in the Word. You stand firm in the Gospel and
the things of God. When you know right it's right and wrong it's wrong,
you stand on it. And John the Baptist was not lukewarm. That
was a man on the fire for the Lord. And hey, when you're
are fired for the Lord, you're gonna do with those things. You're gonna
do it. Wicked people and high positions and high powered authorities, and what
John the Baptists went through, and what Jesus went through. As they are
martyrs for the Lord and Stephen, we ain't no better different. We're gonna
go through the same exact things, honestly, especially in these evil times that
were in. Many people out here are already losing their jobs over their faith
over the Gospel. People are losing their positions, people getting fired for their
faith, people getting their social media pages taken down for their faith. People
are getting their platforms censored and taken down. Excuse me. People out here
already done with all types of persecutions in different ways, all four corners of
the earth. All right, this is not a color thing. Y'all need
stop getting hung up on colored earth. There's black people, white people,
latinos Asians out here really dying about this gospel. Out here. They're really
losing it all for the Lord. But it's it's we're finding a good fight
out here, amen. And the Asian part, there's like believers out there
in the Asian region, they're getting persecuted as well. They're getting killed off,
getting their churches burned out and everything. Because when you believe in God,
and are about the Gospel. In Atlitarian country, like some of those
Asian countries, you will get attacked for that. You get what I'm saying.
Like America, excuse me, out of all the countries on earth,
it's kind of like the most open or lenient when it comes to religions or
beliefs, who what have you. But those other countries are like super They're
into the Buddhist worship or Hinduism and all other religions. So when you come
talking about the God of Abrahamask and Jacob and the only big good sill die
for our sins, when you're firm in that one, you're no, it's
gonna be war and persecution about that because we don't accept foreign doctrines, we
don't accept foreign gods. So when we stand firm and the God of Abrahamask
and Jacob, it's always going to be a clash about that. That's that
spiritual warfare. Because mind you, we're not just going against flesh and blood.
We're going to principalities of the air, wickedness and rulers of high places.
You know, real principalities, man, you know what I'm saying.
So John a Baptist, he was really against that. It was more than
just herod and all that I was like a real spiritual warfare went through just
within the experience alone. All right, So we're gonna go through it as
well, all right. So be firm, people, Be firm, all
right. Go after that white road, go after the treasures of heaven.
Get your name on that lab book of life. Live for the Lord,
died for the Lord. Stand on that. There's no time to be fearful
and all that. You gotta be bold and courageous in the same man.
And then we go more into the Book of Matthew chapter fourteen. Reading it
also goes more into detail about how Jesus fed the five thousand people who followed
him, the large crowds, and how he just made so much out of
so little, all right, And that's the thing. And remember Jesus had
compassion on these people, so he had no problem healing them, bearing with
them, and what have you. And then as they went on to Matthew
chapter fourteen, the disciples came to him and was like, hey, man,
it's getting late. Man, Let these people go home. Them go
on their way, And Jesus like, nah, you give him something to
eat. When he putting them away like that. So they have five loaves
of bread and two fish, and they said, bring him here to me,
and they all sat down and gathered together. The Lord took it to
heaven. He gave thanks, and then he broke the loaves get into the
disciples, and they were able to give to everybody there. And there was
so much that they had twelve baskets of leftovers. Amen, that just shows
him we put it in the Lord's hands, how much he could multiply blessing,
and how much he could make so much out of so little. You
just give the Lord a little and watch what they do with it. Amen.
She Sometimes people feel that that lack of faith, that doubt, because
they'd be like, oh, I don't have enough, or I only have
this, and they get into this insecurity, this doubt. It's like when
you have faith, you trust in the Lord. All right, You give
the Lord, You give the Lord your problems, you give the Lord your
issues, You give it to him. Watch how you turn it around,
double a triple, at quadruple it, however much fold he adds to it.
There's no limit to God's blessing. There's no limit to his abundance.
Amen. The Lord will feed you, he will take care of it,
he will look out for you. He will do it all right. The
same way these people kept following after Christ, we got to keep following it
for him too. You should want that healing, that deliverance, that that
baptism, seeking God, the things of God. You should want that all
the time and repenting while in the process of it. You know, you
don't want to be a user and abuser. You want to have a sincere
sincerity about this whole thing. But remember, Jeeves had compassion on these people.
He wasn't going to just let these people starve out. And you know
the disciples didn't want them around. Ji, He's like, now keep them,
you feed them. See, because it's like we always want to push
people away, and we could bring people together and gather them for the goodness
of God. Amen. We could make people embrace God better if we embrace
them more. When you keep pushing people away, you're actually pushing them away
from God. You should never push someone away from God or the things of
God or wanting a blessing. Amen. So the Book of Matthew, chapter
fourteen reading is an amazing reading. Also further in the book, of Matthew
chapter fourteen reading, it goes more into how Jesus was walking on the water
all right, And it's just so amazing how you could see Jesus walking on
the water and the wind and the waves was just pushing against it so much,
and he was still able to walk on it with no problem. But
Peter when he walked towards him, Peter had doubt and got a little shaky.
And then Jesus said, why did you have doubt? You know?
Why did you lose faith? You see? Oh you a little faith?
You see what I'm saying. So got to have that faith, people,
no matter what storm you're in, the hearts looking that trust in the Lord,
in that faith is very important. That's what he focuses on. You
can't focus on the environment, the wind, the storm. You can't focus
on you got to focus on Him and his word and what he can do
for you. What he will do for you. Amen, you see us,
y'all. And that wraps up Matthew chapter fourteen reading, and then an
end of it. He keeps healing and crossing over to a different land and
preaching throughout that country as well in that region too. But I'm just still
reflecting on John Man, John the Baptist getting beheaded that. I'm telling you
that Elijah type ministry. Boy, that's a big stepping right there, when
you were really on that real gospel, that real sound doctrine. That thing
is serious. See, there's one thing to just preach just for the sake
of vis preaching out others around you, when you're preaching against the evil,
against the wicked doers. I got to have that bold encourage to do that.
And John the Baptists did it. He stood on it. He didn't
get lukewarm about it. He ain't tapped dance around. He say that's wrong.
You know. He got at them for all that incest and felt they
was doing, got beheaded for that just shows you how much people don't like
accountability, how much people don't feel the Lord. But the Layd's gonna always
recompense all the wicked on how they did our forefathers, our privates, how
they're gonna do us too. Amen. So that's the Book of Matthew chapter
fourteen reading. Now, let us get into the Book of Matthew chapter fifteen
reading. All right, the Book of Matthew chapter fifteen. Here we go
clean and unclean. Then some pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus
from Jerusalem and ask, why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders.
They don't wash their hands before they eat. Jesus replied, and why
do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? For
God said, honor your father and mother, and anyone who curses his father
or mother must be put to death. But you say that if a masteress
to his father and mother, whatever help you might otherwise have received from me
is a gift to vote to God, he is not to honor his father
with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your
tradition, you hypocrites. Isaiah was when he prophesied about you. These people
honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They
worship me in vain. That teachings are but rules taught by men. Oh
boy, Isaiah wasn't playing with y'all. Jesus called the crowd to him and
said, listen and understand. What goes into him man's mouth does not make
him unclean, but what comes out of his mouth that is what makes him
unclean. Then a disciples came to him and asked, do you know that
the Pharisees were offended when they heard this. He replied, every plant that
my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave
them. They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man,
both will fall to a pit. Peter said, explained it parable to
us. Are you still so dull? Jesus has them. Don't you see
that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body.
But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart,
And these things make a man of clean. For ab the heart come evil
thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual morality, theft, false testimony, slander.
These are what make a man unclean. But eating with unwashed hands does
not make him unclean. Boil boysh the faith of the Canaanite woman. Leaving
that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyree and Sa'adan Terrien Sa'dan,
a Canaanite woman from the Vicinity, came to him crying out, Lord's son
of David, have mercy on me. My daughter is suffering terribly from demon
possession. Jesus did not answer a word, so as disciples came dom and
urged him send her away, for she keeps crying out after us. He
answered, I was sent only to the law sheep of Israel. The woman
came and knelt before him. Lord helped me, she said. He replied,
it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their
dogs. Yes, Lord shere said, but even the dogs eat the crumbs
that fall from their master's table. And Jesus answered, woman, you have
great faith. Your request is granted. And her daughter was healed. From
that very hour, Jesus fees the four thousand. Jesus left there and went
along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountain side and
sat down. Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind,
the cripple, the mute, and many others, and laid them at
his feet, and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw
the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking, and the
blind seeing, and they praised the God of Israel. Jesus called his disciples
to him and said, I have compassion for these people. They have already
been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want
to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way. His
disciples answered, where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed
such a crowd. How many lows do you have, Jesus asked, seven,
they replied, and a few small fish. He told the crowd to
sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves in the fish,
and when he had given things to he broke them and gave them to
the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and
were satisfied. After where the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that
were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides
women and children. After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into
the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadon, Magadon, Magadon, excuse
me. So that's the Book of Matthew, chapter fifteen. Reading it gets
very interesting because it's deciphering between cleaning unclean. And this is interesting because when
you read the Old Testament, especially like the book Leviticus, really all the
law of Moses all the Old Testament, God was declaring about what's cleaning unclean
from all standpoints, right, whether it come to your skin condition of leprosy
or boils and things like that, or a blemish, also clean and unclean
when it comes to people in their sexual lifestyles or what have you, or
how they go about things, and also clean and unclean when it came to
the foods and animals and our diet, right, like God talking about clean
animals, unclean animals, and you know the Leviticus dietary law of what God
told us what to eat and not eating based clean and unclean. So the
Pharisees they're being hypocritical about it and not honoring their parents just for the sake
of a man made tradition and trying to mix it with the things of God.
And what Jesus was breaking down to them of what's clean and unclean,
what's based off of a behavior, you know, and how people are and
what comes out of a person's mouth and what a person's heart and attention is
on. That's what makes a person clean and unclean. See, they're basing
it off of like laws in their own traditions, but Jesus was based off
of heart. You know what I mean? And he said, what the
things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make
an unclean. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery,
sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make
a man unclean. But eating with unwashed hands does not make them unclean.
Because the Pharisees and all that, they were just so upity about cleaning your
hands before you eat something. And Jesus is like, y'all want to talk
about cleaning unclean hands, but your hearts ain't even clean. Wow. And
you talk about what their lips they honor me, but their hearts are far
from me. Boy, oh boy, there's a lot of people like that.
Huh. People today they honor the Lord with their lips, but their
hearts are just far from the man, very far. We see that more
evident than ever, man. We see people's attentions, and more than ever,
people be exposing themselves. Man. We don't even got exposed people normal
because they're doing it. They exposing themselves. Man. And then further in
the Book of Matthew, chapter fifteen, it goes more into detail about the
faith of the Kennanite woman and how you know, she had a daughter who
was suffering, and she was demon possessed, and you know, she came
to Jesus for help. She kept pleading with him, begging him like please,
you know, and the Disciples were kind of like, you know,
send her away, like she keeps crying after she annoying, like them disciples
were funny, man, them dudes, those characters. Them disciples were impatient
and they had no grace and mercy by anything. Man, That's what made
Christ the perfect example. He had that patience and compassion, man, he
really did. And the woman's just you know, begging for her and crying
out to him, you know, and Jesus just like, hey, you
know, he's like, hey, I was only sent to the law sheep
of Israel, you know, because it always goes to the historical times between
Israel and the Canaanites and Israel the other nations. But the woman kept kneeling
before him, saying, Lord, helped me, you know, help me
please, you know. And he replied, it's not right to take the
children's bread and toss it to their dogs, you know. And yes,
Lord, she said, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from
their master's table. That Jesus answered, woman, you have great faith,
your request is granted, and her daughter was healed from that very hour.
That compassion, that love right there, that's the type we got to have,
you know what, That proof right there. You know, yes,
Jesus only did come for the lawship of Israel, but he still had hard
compassion for other people even if they weren't of Israel. That's how great his
compassion is. Love is See, a lot of times people have prejudice spirits
and tend to kind of sit on it and could kind of get in their
own way of helping a blessing somebody. All right, somebody that may not
look like you or may not view you a certain way. We have you
that come to you asking for help, asking for something. Can't just turn
that person away if you have it on you. You can't withhold the power
of God away from somebody. You get what I'm saying, Because it would
it would have looked bad on Jesus if he had was like, no,
you're a Canaanite, will go away from me. If he had did that,
he probably would have had a bad conscious about it or guilt about it,
it would have ate him up on an inside, like Dang, I
just sent this woman away, you know, let me just help her,
you know what I mean, because you'll sleep better at night knowing you did
so for somebody Dan having a regret of Dang, I wish I should have
done that. You get what I'm saying. So you don't want to walk
around with regrets and guilt and withholding it from people. Because God made us
to be generous and givers with the power of God. You don't keep that
to yourself. You give it freely. God gave it to you freely,
so you shouldn't be so sting you about it. Right. We serve a
generous, given God. We serve a gracious God, so we have to
be gracious and given and generous as well. I mean, how would that
look for a ministry of the Kingdom of Heaven if we got stingy people.
We sting you with food, we sting you with blessings, we stend you
with the power of God. How that's gonna look on us? Get what
I'm saying, Boy's gotta be generous and given. Have that compassions that's lack
and today people today are so dogmatic and so strict and stingy they blocked their
own blessings like that because you're not only hurting that person and not helping a
given to, you're actually hurting yourself in the process of it as well.
All right. And really, at the end of the day, what really
saved that woman was her faith. And man, it was a faith.
It wasn't her just begging her, crying that pleading. It was her faith.
So by faith, people, faith, Okay, you please God by
faith or remember that. And then it goes more. In the Book of
Matthew, chapter fifteen describes more on how he feeds four thousand people again,
and he blessed the food, he blessed it, and they had leftovers as
well. Again, so I was kind of repeating what was discussed in Matthew
fourteen. All right. So yeah, man, just as Jesus was giving
and generous, we gotta be the same way people, whether it's food,
advice, wisdom, power of God, healing, prayer, whatever someone asked,
she having no problem giving it. Now, certain things of life we
won't depending on our situations. At a sudden moment, we may not always
be able to give due to a lack of something or situation, or the
timing and placing of it. But all in all, if you have it
on you and the situation lines up, just give it, all right,
Because how we do it, don't give. God will judge on that.
He holds us more accountable when it comes to generosity to other people. He
really hold us accountable when it comes to the way we share and give man,
So don't be withholding from people. Okay, all right, y'all.
So that's the Book of Matthew, chapter fifteen, reading. Okay, Now
we're going to a Book of Matthew chapter sixteen, reading, all right,
the Book of Matthew, chapter sixteen. Here we go, all right,
Matthew chapter sixteen. The Pharisees and Sattissees came to Jesus and testing him by
asking him to show them aside from heaven. He replied, when even it
comes, you say it will be fair weather, for the sky has read
and the more today will be stormy, for the skies red and overcast.
You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret
the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation looks from a raculous
sign, but none will be given given it except the sign of Jonah.
Jesus then left them and went away the yeast of the Pharisees and Satissees.
When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take the bread,
all right, Sorry for that. Let me repeat that the Book of Matthew,
chapter sixteen, verse five. When they went across the lake, the
disciples forgot to take bread. Be careful, Jesus said to them, be
on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Satissees. They discussed this
among themselves and said, it is because we didn't bring any bread. Aware
of their discussion, Jesus asked, you of little faith, why are you
talking among yourselves about having no bread? Do you still not understand? Don't
you remember the five lows for the five thousand and how many basketfuls you gathered,
or the seven lows for the four thousand and how many basketfuls you gathered?
How is it you don't understand that I was not talking to you about
bread, but be on guard. But be on your guard against the yeast
of the Pharisees and Sattassees. Then they understood that he was not telling them
to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the
Pharisees and Sattissees Peter's confession of Christ. When Jesus came to the region of
Cassarah Philippi, he asked his disciples, who do people say the son of
manners they replied, They replied, some say John the Baptists, others say
Elijah, and still others Jeremiah or one of their prophets. But what about
you, He asked, who you say I am Simon. Peter answered,

you loose on earth will be loose in Heaven. Then he warned his disciples
not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. Jesus predicts his death.
From that time on, Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must
go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elder's chief priests
and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed on the third
day to be raised to life. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke
him. Never, Lord, he said, this shall never happen to you.
Jesus turned and said to Peter, get behind me, Satan. You
are stumbling block to me. You do not have in minded things of God,
but the things of men. Then Jesus said to his disciples, if
anyone would come after me, he must deny himself or take up his cross
and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it.
But whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it
be for a man? And if he gains the whole world and yet loses
his soul, or what kind of man given exchange for his soul? For
the son of Man is going to come and his father's glory with his angels,
and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
I tell you the truth. Some who are standing here will not taste death
before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. Hey, now,
yes, yes, that's the Book of Matthew, chapter sixteen, reading

God is life. Whoever wants to save his life will lose it. But
whoever lose his life for me will find it. Man, man, man,

blessed Simon and told him that he would build his rock and his church and

his disciples and remind him of that. And Jesus also goes further detail about
predicting his own death and how would play out with prophecy being fulfilled. But
when Peter was kind of like rebuking him and all that, jess then said,
get behind me, Satan. You're a stumbling block to me. You
do not have in the mind and minded things of God, but the things
of men sound was a very like powerful thing. Jesus said, you know,
you can't get in the way of prophecy or things out be fulfilled.
But Peter was just kind of being like, nah, you know, defensive
and all that, but wasn't spiritually had to wear with all about that.
You get what I'm saying, and then you go from there. Jesus like,
hey, you come after me, You're gonna have to deny yourself or
take up the cross and follow me. He's saying, whoever you know keeps
his life, it's gonna actually lose it. But whoever loses life for me
will find it. And as it's very powerful to talk about, because you
know, we have to let go of everything for the Lord and for the
Gospel. Okay, so as life goes on, you're gonna see how that's
