Amen. Greetings, Greetings, people, welcome, family, Welcome people.
Shaloon, Shaloon, Body of Christ, all people's, all nations, all
tribes, all languages, all four corners of the earth. God bless you
all, whether you are Israelite and Israelite or in Gentile, it's all love.
Let us fellowship, let us pray as the Lord together, and let
us come together for the Lord of standing unity. Amen. And these end
times that are written, we have to be unified as the Body of Christ.
We have to truly be together. We have to uplift each other and
encourage each other. I are sharpens iron, tell each other the truth,
love on another, and handle father's business, handle father's will. It's very
beautiful when there's multiple people doing God's work. You know, the labor as
many, but the labor is a few. The worker is made, but
labors are few, you know, there's only so much of us on this
earth who's really putting our hands to supply here, So we need more.
We need more soldiers in the Body of Christ. We need more soldiers in
heaven working towards the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen. We have to really be
together and spread the word as best as possible and gain as much souls as
we can, because we have to win souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.
We have to persuade, to convince so much people about Jesus Christ and Its
Father and the Holy Spirit and all these things and what's going on in this
world. You know, it's just so much going on all over the world.
So we have to truly hold it down and help out anybody the best
way we can. I pray that we love the Lord, our God with
all of our mind, heart and soul. And I pray that we love
our neighbor as we love ourselves. I pray that we can obey all the
laws to the commandments that the Lord has given us to the best of our
ability. And I also pray that you obey the gospel you know the Lord
better, and that you just keep on doing Father's business and Father's will.
Amen. Yes, yes, y'all. Let us be grateful for the food
and our ability to close on our back to shelter over our heads. Let
us be grateful for the little things. Amen. Let's thank God for everything
so that you have it, y'all. All right, So in today's message,
we're going to continue the Bible series reading. Now we're on the second
Book of Samuel. All right. We wrapped up the first book, the
Book of First Samuel, last night. We wrapped it up yesterday. So
now we're about to get into the second Book of Samuel. Amen. So
the first Book of Samuel is very great. It's very awesome. The story
of Samuel's upbringing, him being to the priesthood, him minister and took God
him doing God's work at an early age in his youth, and how he
really obeyed God as a prophet, as a priest, and he really did
God's commands, you know, he really followed God thoroughly, you know.
And it's also amazing seeing the story of from Samuel to Saul to David,
how everything just played out, you know what I mean, and how fast
thing's happened, like how fast things transitioned. You know. So now we're
gonna get more into the Book of Second the second Book of Samuel, and
then we'll close out with prayer. We'll close out with the priestly blessing,
and also a close out with giving God all the glory and praise and honor
forever. Amen. All right, y'all, So here we go the Second
Book of Samuel, Chapter one. Now it came to pass after the death
of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Melokites, and
David had a bow two days in zick Lag. It came even to pass
on the third day that behold, a man came out of the camp from
Saul, with his clothes rent and earth upon his head. And so it
was when he came to David that he fell to the earth and did abstinence,
abbey and sense. And David said it to him, from whence comest
thou? And he said it to him at the camp of Israel, and
my escaped at David said it to him, how went the matter? I
pray THEE tell me? And he answered that the people are fled from the
battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead, as saw
and Johnathan his son are dead also, And David sent to the young man
that told him, how knowest thou that saw Jonathan his son be dead?
And the young men that told him said, as I happened to buy a
chance upon Mount Gilboa behold Saul leaned upon his spear and load. The chariots
and horsemen followed hard after him. And when he looked behind him, he
saw me and called into me and said, here am I. And he
said it to me, who art thou? And I answered him, I
am an a melakite, And he said it to me again. Stand I
pray thee upon me and slay me, for English has come upon me,
because my life is yet hole in me. So I stood upon him and
slew him, because I was sure that he could not live. After that,
he was falling, and I took the crown that was upon his head
and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto
my lord. Then David took hold on his clothes and rent them, and
likewise all the men that were with him, and they mourned and wept and
fasted until evening for Sawloon, for Jonathan his son, and for the people
of the Lord and for the house of Israel, because they were fallen by
the sword. And David said, unto the young man that told him,
whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger
and a Melakite. And David said, unto him, how wast thou not
afraid to stretch forth thy hand to destroy the Lord's anointed. At David called
him the young men and said, go near and fall upon him. And
he smote him that he died. At David said to him, thy blood
be upon thy head, for thy mouth has testified against thee saying I have
slain the lords anointed. And David lamented with his limitation over Saw and over
John than the son. Also he bade them teach the children of Judeah the
use of the bow of the bow. Behold, it is written in the
book of jess Shure, the beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places.
How have the mighty fallen? Tell it not in Gath, publish it
not in the streets of ascalon lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, Lest
the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph ye mountains of Goboa. Let there be no
do neither let there be reigned upon you, nor fields of offerings, For
there the shield of the Mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul,
as though he had not been anointed with oil. Excuse me from the
blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty. The bow of
Jonathan turned not back, and the sort of Saul return not empty. Saw
and John there were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death
they were not divided. They were swifter than eagles, They were stronger than
lions. Ye daughters of Israel, weep Oversaw, who clothed you, who
clothed you in scarlet with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon
your apparel? How are the mighty fallen? In the midst of the battle,
Old Jonathan, thou was slain in night high places. I am to
stretched for thee my brother, Jonathan, very pleasant? Hast thou been into
me? That love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women?
How are the mighty fallen? And the weapons of war perished? All right,
y'all said? That was the book of Second Samuel, Chapter one.
So on this part an Amelokite comes up to David. It tells him the
bad news about how Saul and Jonathan have died and some of the Lord's people
have died as well in the battle, and how he testified against what happened,
and then David slain him and David and everybody mourned over Saul and Jonathan
and David had a really crazy relationship with Saul, you know, and then
he also had a very beautiful relationship with his best friend anything. They loved
each other, you know. So when you lose someone you kind of went
through a lot with, and you lose some when you made a covenant with,
that's gonna be very painful and hurtful. You know. We've all lost
a closet one or a loved one or a family member or a friend or
someone who's life family. So we know those feelings of mourning and lamenting,
you know, And that's life, you know, and life hardships happens.
Things you can't control happens, you know, things play out the way they
do, and you have to live with it, you know what I mean.
But you can't feel guilty about it. You can't, you know,
hold your head over it. You know, you gotta press on and keep
moving forward. That's easier said than done. But you have to be strong
at all times. So that was a very hard time for David and all
of them to soak up. All right, So that's life, man,
you know. So that was the book of Second Samuel, chapter one.
Now we're gonna go to a book of Second Samuel chapter two. All right,
chapter two, here we go. And it came to pass after this
that David inquired if the Lord, saying, shall I go up to any
of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said it to him, go
up? And David said, with their shall I go up? And he
said it to Hebron. So David went up thither, and his two wives
also that had known him, the Jisraelites at Abigail, Nobal's wife, the
Carmelite, and his men that were with him. David bring up every man
with his household, and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron, and the
men of Judah came, and there they annoyed to David, king over the
house of Judah. And they told David, saying that the men of Jabishka
lead were they that buried Saul? And David sent messages unto the men of
Jabishka lead and said unto them, But must be ye of the Lord,
that ye have showed this kindness unto your lord, even at Saul, and
have buried him. And now the lords showed kindness and truth un to you.
And I also will requite you this kindness because ye have done this thing.
Therefore, not let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant,
for your master Saul is dead. And also the House of Judah have annointed
me king over them. But Abner, the son of Ner, captain of
Saul's whole, took Ishbosheth, the son of Saul, and brought him over
to Mahanaim and made him king over Galad and over the Asherites, and over
Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin and over all Israel. Ishbasheth,
Saw's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel,
and reigned two years. But the House of Judah followed David, and the
time that David was king in Hebron over the House of Judah was seven years
and six months. And Abner, the son of Ner, and the servants
of Ishbosheth, the son of Saul went out from Mahanaeum Mahanam to Gibeon.
And joe Ab, the son of Zaria Zariah, and the servants of David
went out and met together by the pool of Gibeon. And they sat down,
the one on one side of pool and the other side of the pool.
And Abner said of joe Ab, let the young men now rise in
play before us, And joe Ab said, let them rise. Then there
arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbasha,
the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David. And they
caught everyone his fellow by the head and thrust his sword in his fellow's side.
So they fell down together. Wherefore that place was called Hellcoth Hillcoth hazar
Rim, which is in Gibeon. And there was a very sore battle that
day, and Abner was beaten in the men of Israel before the servants of
David. And there were three sons of Zarua, Zarua, joe Ab and
Abishai and Asahil, and Asahil was as light of foot as a wild road,
and Asahill Asahil Asahill pursued after Abner, and in going he turned not
to the right nor to the left from following Abner. Then Abner looked behind
him and said, art thou Asahill, And he said, he answered,
I am. Abner said to him, turned the asside to thy right hand
or to the left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men,
and take thee his armor. But Asahill would not turn aside from following
him. And Abner said again to Asahill, turn thee aside from following me.
Wherefore should I smite thee to the ground, How then should I hold
up my face to Joeb thy brother. Howbeit he refused to turn aside.
Wherefore Abner, with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth
rib. That the spear came out behind him, and he fell down there
and died in the same place. And it came to pass that as many
as came to the place where Asahill fell down and died, stood still.
Joe ab also and Abushei pursued after Abner and the son went down. When
they were come to the hill of Ammah, that life before good Giya Ghia,
by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon and the children of Benjamin gathered
themselves together after Abner and became one troop and stood on the top of a
hill that Abner called to Joe Abbas, said, shout the sword devour forever.
Knowest that thou thou thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter
end? How long shall it be? Then? Ere thou bid the people
return from following their brethren. And Joe ab said, as God liveth unless
thou had spoken surely. Then in the morning the people had gone up everyone
from following his brother. So Joe ab blew a trumpet, and all the
people stood still and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they anymore,
And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plane and passed over
Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim. And
Joe ab returned from following Abner. And when he when he had gathered all
the people together, their lacked of David's servants, nineteen men and asa hill.
But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin and of Abner's men,
so that three hundred and three score men died, and they took up asahil
Asa hill and buried him in the suppoltray, the suppulture of his father,
which was in Bethlehem. And joe Ab and his men went all night and
they came to Hebron at break of day. Alright, So that's the book
of Second Simond, chapter two reading, and you saw the division in the
violence and everything that that happened within that time period. Alright. So now
we're going to go into the book of Second Singer chapter three. Alright,
Second Samuond chapter three. Here we go. Alright, alright, Second Second
Samuel chapter three, Here we go. Now there was long war between the
House of Saul and the House of David. But David wax stronger and stronger,
and the house of Saul wax the weaker and weaker. And to David
were sons born in Hebron, and his firstborn was Aman of Henoam the Jesuelites,
and his second Shalib of Abigail the wife of Nebal the Carmelite. And
the third Absalom, the son of Mayak, the daughter of tom ay TAMAI,
king of Gasher. In the fourth Adnaja a Donaga the son of Hagith,
and the fifth chef chef Atia, the son of a Bital, and
the sixth Ethrim by egg Law, David's wife. These were born to David
and Hebron. And it came to pass while there was war between the House
of Saul and the House of David, that Abner made himself strong, for
the house of Saul, and Saul had a concubine whose name was Rizpah,
the daughter of the daughter of Ayah. And Ishbashef said to Abner, wherefore
hast thou gone until my father's concubine. Then it was Abner very roth for
the words of Ishashef Ishbaschef, and said, am I a dog's head which
against Judah? Do show kindness this day unto the house of Saul, of
thy father, to his brethren and to his friends, and have not delivered
thee into the end of David has charges me today with a fault concerning this
woman. So do God to Abner. And more also, except as the
Lord hath sworn to David, even so I do to him to translate the
kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David
over Israel and over Judah. From Dan even to Beersheba, and he could
not answer Abner word again because he feared him. And Abner sent messages to
David on his behalf, saying whose is the land, saying, also make
thy league with me, and behold, my hand shall be with THEE to
bring about all Israel to THEE. And he said, well, I will
make a league with THEE, but one thing I require of THEE, that
is, thou shalt not see my face except thou first being first, bring
McCall Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face. And David sent
messages to Ishbashcheth, Saul's son, saying, deliver me my wife, mishkall
Machal, which I espouse to me for an hundred four skins of the Philistines.
And Ishbasheth sent and took her from her husband, even from Futil,
the son of Lash, and her husband went with her along, weeping behind
her to Baham, that said Abner to him, go return, And he
returned. And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, ye
sought for David and times to pass to be king over you. Now then
do it for the Lord hath spoken of David, saying, by the hand
of my servant, I will save my people Israel out of the hand of
the Philistines, and ab the hand of all their enemies. And Abner also
spoke in the ears of Benjamin. And Abner went also to speak in the
ears of David and Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed
good to the whole house of Benjamin. Excuse me. So Abner came to
David, to Hebron, and twenty men with him, and David made Abner
and the men that were with him a feast. And Abner said it to
David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel to my
lord, the King, that they may make a league with thee hold on.
And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, ye saw
it for David in time's past to be king over you. Now then do
it for the Lord Hath spoken of David, saying, by the hand of
my servant David, I will save my people Israel out of the hand of
Philistines and out of the hand of all their enemies. And Abner also spoke
in the ears of Benjamin Abner went also to speak in the ears of David,
and Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to
the whole house of Benjamin. So Abner came to David to hebron and twenty
men with him, and David made Abner and the men that were with him
a feast. At Abner sent to David, I will rise and go,
and will gather all Israel toil my lord the King, that they may make
a league with thee and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desire.
And David sent Abner away, and he went in peace. And behold
the service of David. And Joe ab came from pursuing a troop and brought
in a great spoil with them. But Abner not with David and Hebron,
for he hath sent him away, and he was gone in peace. When
Joe ab and all the hosts that was with him were come, they told
Joe ab saying, Abner, the son of Ner, came to the king,
and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.
Then Joab came to the king, had said, what hast thou done?
Behold Abner came into thee. Why is it that thou hast sent him away
and he is quite gone. Thou knowest Abner, the son of Ner,
that he came to deceive thee, and to know thy going out and thy
coming in, and to know that, to know all that thou doest.
And when joe Ab was coming out from David, he sent messengers after Abner,
which brought him again from the well of Sarah Syrah. But David knew
it not. And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside
in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the
fifth rib, that he died for the blood of Asahel, his brother.
And afterward, when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom
are guiltless before the Lord forever, from the blood of Abner, the son
of Ner. Let it rest on the hand of Let it rust on the
head of joe Abb and on all his father's house. And let their not
fall from the house of joe Abb. One that hath an issue, or
that as a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falllleth
on the sword, or that lacketh bread. So joe abb and Abishai,
his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahill as a Gibeon
in the battle. And Davis said to Joe abb and to all the people
that were with him, rend your clothes and gird you with sackcloth, with
the cloth, and mourn before Abner. And King David himself followed the beer,
the buyer the beer, and they buried Abner in Hebron, And the
king lifted up his voice and wept that the grave of Abner, and all
the people wept, and the King lamented over Abner and said, died Abner
as a fool dieth Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into
fetters, as a man followed before wicked men. So fell ust thou.
And all the people wept again over him. And when all the people came
to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David swore,
saying, so do God to me, and more also if I taste bread
or ought else till the sun be down. And all the people took notice
of it, and it pleased them, as whatsoever the king did pleased all
the people. For all the people in all Israel understood that day that it
was not of the king to slay Abner, the son of Ner. And
the king said it to the service, know ye not that there is a
prince and a great man following this day in Israel. And I am this
day week though annoyed to king, and these men, the sons of Zariah,
be too hard for me. The lordship reward the doer of evil coin
to his wickedness. So that's the Book of Second Singer, chapter three.
Reading. Now we're gonna go to the Book of Second Sane chapter four.
Okay, the Book of Second Singer, chapter four. Here we go.
And when Saul's son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were
feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled. And Saul's son had two men
that were captains of bands. The name of the one was Bayana Bana Banna,
and the name of the other rachab Racabb. The sons of Ramon At
Beathite, of the children of Benjamin. For beer Roth also reckoned to Benjamin,
and the Beathites fled to Gaeteam Gatime and were so journers there until this
day. And Jonathan Saw's son had a son that was lame of his feet.
He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out
of jezz Riel, and his nurse took him up and fled, And it
came to pass that she made haste to flee, that he fell and became
lame. And his name was Mephibashef, Mefhibashef. And the sons of Ramon,
the Beathite, Racab and Bayona went and came about the heat of the
day to the house of Ishbashef, who lay on a bed at noon.
And they came thither into the midst of the house as thou as though they
would have fetched wheat, and they smoked him under the fifth rib, and
Racab and Baan Bayana his brother escaped, for when they came into the house,
he lay on his bed in his bed chamber, and they smote him
and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and got
them away through the plane all night, and they brought the head of Ishbasheth
unto David to Hebron, and said to the King, behold the head of
Ishbasheth, the son of Saul, thy enemy, which saw thy life,
and the Lord hath avenged my lord, the king of this day of Saul
and end of his seed. And David answered Racab and Bayona his brother,
the sons of Raman de Breathite, and said unto them, as the Lord
Livith, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adverse adversity. When one
told me be saying, behold, Saul is dead, thinket to have brought
good things to good tidings, I took hold of him and slew him in
zick like, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his
tidings. How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in
his own house upon his bed, shall I not therefore now acquire his blood
of your hand and take you away from the earth. And David commanded his
young his young men, and they slew them and cut off their heads and
their feet, and hang them up over the pool in Hebron. But they
took the head of Ishbashet and buried it in the subpulture of Abner and Hebron.
So that's the book of Second Samuond chapter four reading. Now we're going
to go into a Book of Second Samuel chapter five reading all right, Second
Samuel chapter five, Here we go. Then it came all the tribes of
Israel to David into Hebron, and spoke saying, behold, we are thy
bone and thy flesh. Also in time pass when Saul was king over us.
Thou was he that let us us, let us out, and brought
us in Israel. And the Lord said to thee thou shalt feed my people
Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel. So all the elders
of Israel came to the king of Hebron, and King David made a league
with them in Hebron before the Lord, and they annointed David king over Israel.
David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned
forty years. In Hebron. He reigned over Judah seven years and six months,
and at Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
And the king and his men went to Jerusalem until the Jebocites then happened
to the lad which spoken to David, saying, except thou take away the
blind and the lame, thou shalt not come and hither, thinking David cannot
come and hither. Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion the same as
the city of David. And David said, on that day, whosoever up
getteth up to the gutter and smite the jebo sites and the lame and the
blind that are hated of David's soul, he shall be chief and captain.
Wherefore they said, the blinding the lame shall not come into the house.
So David dwelt in the fort and called it the city of David. And
David built round about from maloone and inward. And David went on and grew
great. And the Lord, God of Host was with him. And Haram,
king of Tyre Tyree to Tarie, sent messenges to David and cedar trees
and carpenters and masons, and they built David in house. And David perceived
that the Lord had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted
his kingdom for his people, Israel's sake, for his people, Israel's sake.
And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem after he was
come from Hebron, and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
These be the names of those that were born into him in Jerusalem, Shamua
and Shabab, Nathan and Salomon ib Hart, also Elishua and Nepeg and Jaffia
and Elishama and Ali Aliada, Eliada, Elisha, Alishama, Elia Dah and
Eli Philt. But when the Philistines heard that they had annoint to David king
over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David, and David heard
of it and went down to the hold. The Philistines also came and spread
themselves in the valley of Rafam Rafam, and David acquired the Lord, saying,
shall I go up to the Philistines without deliver them unto thy into my
hand? And the Lord said to David go up, for I will doubtless
deliver the Philistines into thy hand. And David came to bail Parazum, and
David smoked them there and said, the Lord hath broken forth upon my enemies
before me as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that
place bill Parisum Parazum. And there they left their images, and David and
his men burned them all right, and the Philistines came up yet again and
spread themselves in the valley of Raphim. And when David inquired the Lord,
he said, thou shalt not go up, but fetch a compass behind them,
and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. And let it be
when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees,
that then thou shalt bestir thyself, For then shall the Lord go out
before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. And David did so as
the Lord had commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Ghibba, from Jiba
until thou come to Gazur Jazir. All right. So that's the book of
Second Sign of chapter five reading. So this is the part where David becomes
established. God really established him as a king. David became the king at
thirty years old, and he reigned for forty years. And the book of
Second sam chapter five, it discusses how he ruled. He reigned over Judah
for seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned for thirty thirty
and three years over all Israel and Judah, and then it goes more further
into detail about how David got more concubines and he got more wives out of
Jerusalem, and he kept producing more, you know, becoming fruitful, multiplying.
And Solomon was also born out as well. So all these children were
born to David. So David really became king. He really started running things.
He really started handling his handling, his royalty, his kingship, and
things of that nature. And he even labeled the fort the city of David,
you know, Zion. He had a stronghold of it. And the
reason why those details aren't important because it's all connected to Christ. Because when
you read the Book of Genesis, I believe chapter forty nine, Verse ten
or so forth, Jacob prophesized about Judah all right. He prophasized about the
leneage of Judah, the tribe of Judah. So David is from Judah,
all right, He's from from Judah. He's a Judah, heights from Bethlehem.
All of those details. And King David's kingship is connected to Christ because
David's throne is established on righteousness and judge and justice. It's the same thing
with Christ. And also it goes more further detail within the Book of Revelations
when it comes to the city of Zion, what it discusses about Zion,
the city of David. Those things keep getting prophesized and preached about a lot
in the Book of Revelation. But it's all connected because David and Christ they
both have the same kingship, they're both from the same tribe, they're both
Judah, they're both from and yeah. So and then what Jacob said was,
deceptors shall never leave Judah. Deceptors shall never depart from Judah. So
what Jacob was prophesizing in his death better where he was about to go.
Jacob's basically saying, like those are the tribal Judah will always have royalty,
there will always be kings out of that tribe, and they'll always rule over
all Israel. So David ruled, and so did Christ as well. So
there's that correlation between David and and Jesus. That's why he's the son of
David. That's why he's called that, and that's why he's also the son
of Abraham according to the promise and things of that nature, the son of
Man. And that's this fourth and this fourth. So Christ carries out so
much different connections and things connected to Moses, Elijah, Abraham, David,
Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah. Like everything's like all connected, whether
through bloodline, prophecy, things to come to pass fulfilling God's word, God
being in control. It's so much that pleasure to it. It's very powerful
and amazing all in all. That's why I love reading the scriptures and just
wag into this Bible series because it's so much. Every time you read the
Bible, there's always something you can learn from it. That's how powerful the
Word, the most highest. That's why we have to really stay in it,
you know. But it's important to understand the connections of prophecy and kingship
and history and things of that nature, because every detail matters, every detail
matters. Okay, So that's a Book of Second Samui, chapter five reading.
Now we're going to go to a Book of Second Samui chapter sixth reading,
and after the second said chapter six D we'll close off from there.
All right, we'll just end it from there. Okay, So here we
go Second Samuel chapter six and David gather together all the chosen men of Israel
thirty thousand and David arose and went with all the people that were with him
from Bali of Judah, to bring up from thence the Ark of God,
whose name is called by the name of the Lord of Hosts, that develoth
between the Chaibums. And they set the Ark of God upon a new card
and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gabiyah. And
Uzza Uza and Ahil, the sons of Abenadab Drave, drove the new cart,
and they brought it out of the house of Abenadab which was at Gabia,
accompanying the Ark of God. And Ahio went before the Ark, and
David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of
instruments made of fir wood fear wood, even on harps, and on saltes
and timbrels, and on cornets and on symbols. And when they came to
Nashan's thrushing floor, Usa Usa put forth his hand to the Ark of God
and took hold of it, for the oxen shook it, and the anger
of the Lord was kindled against Usa, and God smote him there for his
error, and there he died by the Ark of God. And David was
displeased because the Lord had made a breach upon the Usa, and he called
the name of the place perez Uzzah to this day. And David was afraid
of the Lord that day, and said, how shall the ark of the
Lord come to me? So David would not remove the ark of the Lord
to m into the city of David. But David carried it aside into the
house of obed Edom the good type, and the ark of the Lord continued
in the house of obed Edom the Good type three months, and the Lord
bless Obit, and the Lord bless obed Edom and all his household. And
it was told King David, saying, the Lord hath blessed the house of
obed Edom and all that pertaineth it to him because of the Ark of God.
So David went and brought up the Ark of God from the house of
obed Edom into the city of David with gladness. And it was so that
when they were that when, and it was so that when they that bare,
the ark of the Lord had gone six paces. He sacrificed oxen and
fatlings, and David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David
was girded with the linen Ifad. So David and all the house of Israel
brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the
trumpet. And as the Ark of the Lord came into the city of David,
McCall Saul's daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and
dancing before the Lord. And she despised them in her heart. And they
brought in the Ark of the Lord and set it in this place, in
the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it. And David offered
burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. And as soon as David had
made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people
in the name of the Lord of Hosts. And he dealt among all the
people, even among the homotive Israel, as well to the women as men,
to everyone a cake of bread and a good piece of flesh, and
a flagon of wine. So all the people departed everyone to his house.
Then David returned to bless his household, and McCaul, the daughter of Saul,
came out to meet David and said, how glorious was the King of
Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his
servants, as one of the vain fellows shamously uncovered himself. And David said
it to McCall. It was before the Lord which chose me, before thy
father and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of
the Lord over Israel. Therefore, while I played before the Lord, and
I will yet be more viold than thus, and will be based on my
own site, and of the maid service which thou hast spoken of of them,
shall I be had an honor. Therefore McCall, the daughter of Saul
had no child until the day of her death. So that's a book of
Second sang of chapter six reading. And this is a very interesting chapter because
this is where David gets more established what have you? And and now they're
going into the process of bringing in the Ark of God. And what happens
is one of a ben adapts son Usa. He shook the Ark of God
like the ox has shaken it. And when it comes to the Ark of
God, it's a very holy, sacred it's very holy and sacred. So
when you like dishonor it or shake it, or move it, or just
do something kind of silly towards it. God will get angry at you over
it. You get what I'm saying. So God's anger was really kindled against
Usa Musa, and God killed Uza because of that. That's how holy and
how sacred the Ark of God is. And it's even a loss as a
commandment about being careful with holy objects and not disrespecting it, not blasphemy against
it, you know, honor and things of that nature. But Uza didn't
honor, he didn't really respect it. So that's why God killed him for
it. But as they brought the Ark of God into the city of David,
and David was rejoicing. They were all playing music, the trumpet,
they were praising the Lord, they were dancing. Everybody was happy. Everybody
was feasting. David wasn't joining himself. He gave everybody food. He looked
out for the men, he looked out for the women, he looked out
for all Israel. As they all rejoiced and we're glad on how the Ark
of God was carried to the city of David. But as David was president
the Lord and dancing and rejoicing, McCall Saul's daughter. She hated him and
she was despised, and she despised him because she felt the type of way
about how David became king, and she was still bitter and sorre about how
all that played out, and she still has some sur grapes dealing with her
father's death and how that went about it as she hated David. So it
was like a lot of jealousy, turmoil, a lot of anger, you
know, all mixed in one. And the David and McCall saw's daughter they
have like a conversation going back and forth about it, and she's bitter and
sire about it, and then David's just like, well, hey, you
know, the Lord made me king and I'm gonna do me basically. So
David basically kept it moving and h let her know what time it was.
You know, you can't when you're in kingship, when your rulership, you
know there's gonna be haters and enemies. That's just what comes along with it.
And there was a lot going on between David and McCall and you know,
all that beef and drama and termoil what have you, all mixed in
with mixed emotions. So that's how I played out. And and yeah,
you know, the arc of God was in the city of David, and
the whole Israel rejoiced over. So that's a very beautiful, amazing thing.
And David also gave burn offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. You know,
he was leaping and dancing, you know, just you know, David
was lit. You know he could turn up, right. So that's that,
y'all. All right, that's the Book of Second Samuel, chapter six,
reading her right, So that's the reading for today. All right,
that's the reading for today. A little short, sweet sample. All right.
