<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy and Josh Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>All right, this is kind of a silly Friday topic.
<v Speaker 2>I pulled it out of my butt the other day
<v Speaker 2>because of something that Katie and Josh did. I threw
<v Speaker 2>the question up on my Facebook. Tell me about the
<v Speaker 2>celebrity you met, the brush.
<v Speaker 3>With fame that you've had. So if you've met a
<v Speaker 3>celebrity and you want.
<v Speaker 2>To talk about it, we all kind of dream about
<v Speaker 2>meeting really famous people, right, you can call us three
<v Speaker 2>O three six nine one one mix three oh three
<v Speaker 2>six nine one sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 4>Now.
<v Speaker 2>I posted it on my Facebook and this dude named
<v Speaker 2>Mike wrote in. He says, hey, Jerry, I saw your
<v Speaker 2>Facebook post talking about celebrities people have met. I had
<v Speaker 2>to write in a few years ago, I was at DIA.
<v Speaker 2>I spotted Keanu Reeves casually waiting at the baggage carousel
<v Speaker 2>like a normal person. No entourage, no sunglasses, no attitude,
<v Speaker 2>just genuinely a nice guy. I said, Hi, told him
<v Speaker 2>I was a huge fan of the Matrix and he
<v Speaker 2>shook my head hand and said, thanks man, that means
<v Speaker 2>a lot. Then he started asking about his flight. Blah
<v Speaker 2>blah blah. He said, he was seriously the kindest, most
<v Speaker 2>down to earth celebrity ever. Now I'm curious about you guys.
<v Speaker 2>Have you on the show ever met any celebrity in
<v Speaker 2>person really as cool as Keanu or total divas? And
<v Speaker 2>that is Mike from Thornton. So yeah, we'll give you
<v Speaker 2>some of ours if you want to call right now.
<v Speaker 2>Three oh three six nine one mix three oh three
<v Speaker 2>six nine one sixteen forty nine. Now I did throw
<v Speaker 2>that up because Katie and Josh just met DAUGHTRYO Petree.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah he's pretty famous ish he was really nice.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well he was definitely famous, especially in Colorado that's
<v Speaker 2>where he got his American Idol start.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, he could tried out in Denver, so it was
<v Speaker 5>neat to talk to him. And uh see, well we
<v Speaker 5>didn't even really get talked to him. I mean, those
<v Speaker 5>meet and greets are so quick, and you know your
<v Speaker 5>spot's next to Daughtry, so take your picture and smile
<v Speaker 5>and nod and get out of here. And yeah, so
<v Speaker 5>that's kind of almost an awkward situation. But there's definitely
<v Speaker 5>been times where I've met celebrities and some of them,
<v Speaker 5>I'm cool is a cucumber, right, like some of them
<v Speaker 5>it does not affect me, but some I forget words,
<v Speaker 5>like how was interaction? Well, that was over zoomed still,
<v Speaker 5>and that wasn't as bad because she was so like
<v Speaker 5>down to earth and sweet about everything.
<v Speaker 6>Like a lot of the artists like they look at.
<v Speaker 5>You almost like a second class citizen, and that wasn't
<v Speaker 5>the case at all with Gwen Stefani. I mean, she
<v Speaker 5>was so gracious about her time and I got to
<v Speaker 5>talk to her about I thought the nitat thing was
<v Speaker 5>that my mom loves Gwen Stefani. I love Gwen Stefani,
<v Speaker 5>and Zoe is a fan of some of her music
<v Speaker 5>as well.
<v Speaker 6>So for me being able to like.
<v Speaker 5>You span across generations, how does that feel? And you
<v Speaker 5>could tell like she was almost taken aback by the question.
<v Speaker 5>She's like, really your mom, like like it was just
<v Speaker 5>so sweet, so like that, it was definitely a good
<v Speaker 5>interaction with her. But there have been people. I mean
<v Speaker 5>I met Dave Mira, if you remember, he's like a
<v Speaker 5>BMX He was part of the MTV challenge show BMX
<v Speaker 5>Racer and stuff, and I met him and I was
<v Speaker 5>such a huge fan and all I could get out
<v Speaker 5>with him was I like your legs like, literally, lady,
<v Speaker 5>I know that's kind of what he said.
<v Speaker 6>And it was just then we moved on.
<v Speaker 3>Phone lines are blowing up right now.
<v Speaker 2>The celebrities you've met three O three six nine one,
<v Speaker 2>sixteen forty nine, I'll give you two of my favorites.
<v Speaker 3>Meeting the entire crew from New Kids on the Block.
<v Speaker 3>It was pretty darn awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Did a little meet and great thing before a concert,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, growing up with New Kids on the Block. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>fairly starstruck. So yeah, I got a picture with all
<v Speaker 2>of them. I look like I could blong in the band. Actually, sure.
<v Speaker 2>Every once in a while pop up on my Facebook
<v Speaker 2>memories and I'm like.
<v Speaker 6>Oh yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then the one I feel like was the most
<v Speaker 2>friendly was many years ago when we brought Jewel into
<v Speaker 2>the studio.
<v Speaker 6>I bet, well, she's Canadian, so that right there.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was Jewel in her tooth that we all
<v Speaker 3>got to meet.
<v Speaker 6>When you're not nice, look at that.
<v Speaker 3>She was super sweet, super super sweet.
<v Speaker 2>So three O three six nine one, sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 2>Here's Becky, Hi.
<v Speaker 7>Becky, Hi, guys.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>One, and all right, what was the celebrity you brushed
<v Speaker 3>shoulders with?
<v Speaker 9>You want don Cheetle or Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, the Rock Rock.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah. Wayne.
<v Speaker 9>So we take the kids to their first SeeU game
<v Speaker 9>and my husband works at you and Prime was like
<v Speaker 9>the first or second year and they haven't been to
<v Speaker 9>a CEU game before, and we take him and they
<v Speaker 9>hear that there's gonna be all these celebrities there and
<v Speaker 9>stuff like that, and there's like cardboard cutouts at tailgating
<v Speaker 9>of Dwayne the Rock Johnson. So we're taking pictures of
<v Speaker 9>the cutout and everything, and they're so excited. And we
<v Speaker 9>have field passes, so before the game we get to
<v Speaker 9>go onto the field and see all the players and stuff.
<v Speaker 9>And my daughter like sees the Rock and she's like,
<v Speaker 9>it's the Rock, and so they beat like bline over
<v Speaker 9>to him and she's like, hey, get a selfie with me,
<v Speaker 9>and so her and my youngest son, So my oldest
<v Speaker 9>kid and my youngest kid, they get in this picture
<v Speaker 9>with the Rock and he like looks right at him,
<v Speaker 9>does like the peace sign, and it is the sweetest picture.
<v Speaker 2>He's a great guy, and he's pretty dreamy, Bey pretty dreamy.
<v Speaker 6>He is very dreamy.
<v Speaker 4>The Rock.
<v Speaker 2>That is a very good one great way to kick
<v Speaker 2>this off. That's a good one, Becky, thank you so much.
<v Speaker 2>Here is Shannon Hih Shannon, good morning.
<v Speaker 3>All right, who's the celebrity that you met?
<v Speaker 7>So?
<v Speaker 10>I'm from Oklahoma. So I have gotten to meet Kristin
<v Speaker 10>Chenna with because she came to my theater class and
<v Speaker 10>gave us like she helped teach our theater class because
<v Speaker 10>she was very close personal friends with my theater teacher.
<v Speaker 3>Really little, She's like a little blonde lady, isn't she
<v Speaker 3>trying to He is.
<v Speaker 10>Very well known for being Glinda on Broadway and Wicked.
<v Speaker 6>Yes, first, Yeah.
<v Speaker 10>The og Glinda. She's amazing, phenomenal vocals and the nicest
<v Speaker 10>woman I've ever met.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, well, that's good. I love when are nice.
<v Speaker 5>That makes you feel so good, especially when they're teaching
<v Speaker 5>you about like things right like how to act horror.
<v Speaker 10>Cool for her to come into our theater class after
<v Speaker 10>because I've loved Wicked since I was little, and I've
<v Speaker 10>seen her the videotapes of her being Glinda. It was
<v Speaker 10>such a cool experience to get to actually learn from her.
<v Speaker 3>Can you sing us any of the Wicked songs?
<v Speaker 9>I cannot.
<v Speaker 10>I'm not gonna embarrass myself.
<v Speaker 3>I wish you would. I embarrass myself every.
<v Speaker 7>Day does but you get paid to embarrassing.
<v Speaker 3>What if I gave you five dollars a thing?
<v Speaker 7>Not enough?
<v Speaker 3>All right, all right, thank you for the phone call.
<v Speaker 3>That's a good one this morning. We appreciate you calling.
<v Speaker 2>In A couple of lines open, we're talking about the
<v Speaker 2>celebrities that you met. Three oh three six nine one,
<v Speaker 2>six teen forty nine. Here is Robert on the line.

<v Speaker 7>That is?

<v Speaker 5>The only way you could have impressed me more, Robert,
<v Speaker 5>is with Lennis Klasa. If you had a Lenis Klaser
<v Speaker 5>drop in there, I'd be like, Wow, you really met
<v Speaker 5>some people I also met.

<v Speaker 2>I'll give you one that came in while you're on
<v Speaker 2>the line, Robert. This dude named Tony is me. He says,
<v Speaker 2>I met Shaquille O'Neal once at a car show in
<v Speaker 2>Las Vegas. His line was, the man is a walking skyscraper. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he says he took pictures with everyone.
<v Speaker 3>Nicest dude ever. That was Tony.
<v Speaker 6>Really nice too. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>He's a very very benevolent, very giving guy. So Robert,
<v Speaker 2>have a great.

<v Speaker 2>years ago at a hotel and Aspen checked in and
<v Speaker 2>uh to check that I checked.
<v Speaker 3>In Tom Hanks.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, he's exactly as nice as you'd hope. He thanked
<v Speaker 2>me twice for being so helpful. Actually made a dad
<v Speaker 2>joke about his room key not working because bud Buzz
<v Speaker 2>Lightyear messed it up.
<v Speaker 3>Wow, she said, I laughed way too hard at his
<v Speaker 3>dad joke.
<v Speaker 6>That's fine. I would laugh way too hard. At tom Statuts. Okay,
<v Speaker 6>Hi Lisa, Hi there, how are you well.

<v Speaker 3>Who's your celebrity?
<v Speaker 7>Well, I've met a few of I met former President
<v Speaker 7>Bush one time. This was here in Denver. Chauncey Phillips
<v Speaker 7>was one of my neighbors when you started out. And
<v Speaker 7>the big one was when I was in the eighties.
<v Speaker 7>I was living in LA and I met Stevie Nicks
<v Speaker 7>when I was working in an ear nose and throw
<v Speaker 7>it office and she refused to talk. She used her harmonica.
<v Speaker 6>She came in or use her harmonica.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, she was came up to the desk to check
<v Speaker 7>in and and she was taken back to see the doctor.
<v Speaker 7>And once again she was just responding to his questions
<v Speaker 7>with or her harmonica. It was so bizarre.
<v Speaker 3>That is very bizarre. But I kind of want to
<v Speaker 3>start doing that.
<v Speaker 2>I want to carry a harmonica in my pocket and
<v Speaker 2>try that.
<v Speaker 3>That's really funny. All right, Lisa, thank you very much.
<v Speaker 3>That's probably the most random one so far.
<v Speaker 6>That's pretty great.
<v Speaker 1>Hi j Yeah, good morning.
<v Speaker 3>Hey body. Who'd you meet?
<v Speaker 1>Well, and you're ready with your SoundBite because this will
<v Speaker 1>be great for you. I've met Flavor Flavor on multiple occasions.
<v Speaker 1>I went out with him.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, there you go, Flavor on multiple occasions.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I met him. The first time I met him,
<v Speaker 1>I was living in California and he walked into a
<v Speaker 1>Denny's after I'd been at a club DJing, and he
<v Speaker 1>walked in him and his crew and sat down and
<v Speaker 1>I just started chatting him up, and I said, I'm
<v Speaker 1>moving back to Denver, and he said, well, if I
<v Speaker 1>were come through Denver, look me up and I'll hook
<v Speaker 1>you up. And I'm like, all right, done nothing of it.
<v Speaker 1>About two years later, he came through and way to
<v Speaker 1>the hotel, ran into his personal bodyguard who I remember
<v Speaker 1>from Dennis. Showed him a picture of us that we
<v Speaker 1>hung out in Dennis together. He goes, oh, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>remember you. He took me in and Flavor Flavor get
<v Speaker 1>me based backstage passes. We hung out, you know, before
<v Speaker 1>the show and after the show, and it was really cool.
<v Speaker 2>Not wait, that's awesome, that's really cool. Let me do
<v Speaker 2>it one more time.
<v Speaker 1>Super nice guy.
<v Speaker 3>That's really neat that he remembered you.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah, and it's super nice dude there, Jade, Like, would you.
<v Speaker 1>Say extra nice man, and I got to meet his kids,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, everything actually threw him. I got to
<v Speaker 1>meet the members of You too, because at one point
<v Speaker 1>they came back to him where they were doing the
<v Speaker 1>Zoo tour at Mile High Stadium, and he took me
<v Speaker 1>to sound checks. I got to meet the Edge and
<v Speaker 1>Bontowing those guys as well.
<v Speaker 6>You two is hanging out with Flavor. Flav My mind
<v Speaker 6>is a little morning.
<v Speaker 3>I got to ask you what was your DJ name?
<v Speaker 1>I can't say that because the people all know I'm
<v Speaker 1>at work right now.
<v Speaker 6>Can you text it in right now?
<v Speaker 1>Texture?
<v Speaker 3>I have a good day. Thank you for calling. That's
<v Speaker 3>a good one.
<v Speaker 6>Was solid, That's good stuff.
<v Speaker 2>My god, phone lines are exploding. Hi Brook, Hi, Hi,
<v Speaker 2>who'd you meet?
<v Speaker 9>So?
<v Speaker 11>I went to Comic Con in Colorado Springs for my
<v Speaker 11>fortieth birthday to stand girl over Joey Fatone who was there,
<v Speaker 11>and then later that night back at the hotel where
<v Speaker 11>my husband and I were staying, ended up going down
<v Speaker 11>to the bar and having a drink with Joey's Patone
<v Speaker 11>and Murray from Impractical Joker.
<v Speaker 6>I was there too.
<v Speaker 12>Erry.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah, him and Joey are really good friends and they
<v Speaker 11>were the coolest guys.
<v Speaker 2>I bet Joey fat One is just that would be
<v Speaker 2>like a dream come true to have drinks with.
<v Speaker 3>That's cool, that's a great night.
<v Speaker 11>It was because I was obsessed with instinct when I
<v Speaker 11>was a teenager, So I was just the best and
<v Speaker 11>he lived up to it. Just a really really cool guy.
<v Speaker 2>And my sister and I got to meet Timberlake once
<v Speaker 2>we went up for this was years ago. We went
<v Speaker 2>up to Vail or Breckenridge or something. Remember when Kathy
<v Speaker 2>Lee was the thing, Kathy Lee Geherd and reaching. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we went to a taping of their Christmas show at
<v Speaker 2>this hotel and while we were standing out front waiting
<v Speaker 2>to go in justin, Timberlake popped his head out the
<v Speaker 2>door and said hi to everybody.
<v Speaker 3>And took pictures and stuff.
<v Speaker 2>And that's cool.
<v Speaker 3>That was raw and noodle days with his hair, with
<v Speaker 3>the really curly.
<v Speaker 6>Hair, yeah, the frosted tips.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. So there's some goofy pictures of us with the
<v Speaker 3>old school JT somewhere awesome Brook. We got to hop
<v Speaker 3>into these other phone calls. Have a great weekend, you
<v Speaker 3>two guys, Thank you, bye bye? Is it Sibaila? Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>that's right, Hi, Siba I see who you met here
<v Speaker 3>on my screen. This is gonna be a good one.
<v Speaker 3>Who'd you meet?
<v Speaker 13>Kurt Russell?
<v Speaker 3>I love that? Yeah, I love it.
<v Speaker 4>I was living in la at the time. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>you know, you see a lot of slaveries when you
<v Speaker 4>live out there in the nineties, and I was working
<v Speaker 4>at the Beverly Center. I had like a bathing food store,
<v Speaker 4>and it was Black Friday, and so we weren't having
<v Speaker 4>any kind of sales because of baby bathing suits, right
<v Speaker 4>and uh, but the mall was like crazy dizzy, and
<v Speaker 4>so Kurt Russell. I was working there by myself, and
<v Speaker 4>Kurt Russell came in and we had like this couch
<v Speaker 4>kind of chair in there for like husbands and boyfriends
<v Speaker 4>to sit in where they waited for girlfriends and wives
<v Speaker 4>to try on their baby suits. And so he was like, Hey,
<v Speaker 4>can I just sit on your couch while I'm waiting
<v Speaker 4>for my wife and kids just finished shopping. I was
<v Speaker 4>like sure. So he came in and we like chatted
<v Speaker 4>for like an hour and a half.
<v Speaker 12>He just sat there a.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you guys are at that point so cool. He
<v Speaker 4>was so nice. And then when he got the phone
<v Speaker 4>call from his wife, they were ready to go. He
<v Speaker 4>left me one hundred dollars tip.
<v Speaker 3>What wow what?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, guy, and he was just waiting for Goldie.
<v Speaker 4>He's not his wife, but yeah, that's all right.
<v Speaker 2>Hands down, probably the best Santa in the movie The Christmas.
<v Speaker 6>They do.
<v Speaker 3>Nicholas.
<v Speaker 12>Yeah, it was so nice.
<v Speaker 2>This has been one of my favorite calls. It's good,
<v Speaker 2>well done, thank you for calling us.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, all right, weekend three more? Hi, Natalie, Hi? Where
<v Speaker 3>was you brush with fame? Who was it?
<v Speaker 5>Well?
<v Speaker 13>It was Chris Anderson, which Josh reminded me of the name,
<v Speaker 13>because I totally forgot I did call him. I. Yeah,
<v Speaker 13>I grew up in Castle Rock and he lived in
<v Speaker 13>Cassarrock for a long time when he played for the
<v Speaker 13>Nuggets and I was walking through a parking lot with
<v Speaker 13>my friends and we saw his notoriously gigantic truck and
<v Speaker 13>I was looking at it and I was kind of
<v Speaker 13>joking around about it. Walking backwards towards the store, I
<v Speaker 13>was looking at the truck and I literally bumped into him.
<v Speaker 6>And you turn around and.
<v Speaker 3>You saw seven foot tall man.
<v Speaker 13>I turned around in panics, just like oh hi, and
<v Speaker 13>he's like, oh, you got something to say about my truck?
<v Speaker 13>He's like, no, it's great, and he just keep patting
<v Speaker 13>me on the back. He's like, I'm just messing with you.
<v Speaker 13>Take care, and he just walked away with this time,
<v Speaker 13>I heard a lot.
<v Speaker 5>I had a friend who lived in Castlearrock worked at
<v Speaker 5>the grocery store there, and he was a regular at
<v Speaker 5>the grocery store too, and they have the same stories
<v Speaker 5>where he was just such a normal guy.
<v Speaker 6>And he was so nice to everybody.
<v Speaker 13>Yeah, super nice.
<v Speaker 2>Right on, Natalie, thank you for calling. That's a good one.
<v Speaker 2>Have a good weekend. Yeah, all right, we'll do Lisa
<v Speaker 2>and Patty will wrap it up. Hi, Lisa, Hi, Hey,
<v Speaker 2>who'd you meet?
<v Speaker 1>Hey?
<v Speaker 12>Well, I'm going to show my age here. But I
<v Speaker 12>met the really the band Jerome of the Time. The
<v Speaker 12>time was the touring with Prince in Purple Rain, right
<v Speaker 12>the tour and my ra my freshman year. She was
<v Speaker 12>a sophomore and she was this gorgeous black woman and
<v Speaker 12>she went to the Purple Rain tour the night before
<v Speaker 12>I did, and she was at a bar and met
<v Speaker 12>they like saw her and said come party with us.
<v Speaker 12>And then the next day she comes to me and says,
<v Speaker 12>come to my room. Jerome was in her room at
<v Speaker 12>the university I was at. It was really crazy, and
<v Speaker 12>so during the Purple Rain tour, she went back down
<v Speaker 12>the next night and said, come to the hotel where
<v Speaker 12>we're partying. And so I was like so close to
<v Speaker 12>meeting Prince because I partied with the time.
<v Speaker 6>I get the hype around this Morris Day in the time.
<v Speaker 6>It's jungled.
<v Speaker 3>I have to hear it song.
<v Speaker 6>You know it, Morris Day, it's huge. You met the time.
<v Speaker 6>That's big.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, that's big. It was fun, awesome.
<v Speaker 6>To get out more.
<v Speaker 3>Sir, thank you.
<v Speaker 2>I think, kats Hey, you know what you make Katie's David,
<v Speaker 2>thank you?
<v Speaker 5>What was the name of the Morris Day in this
<v Speaker 5>So Jane Silent Bob are huge fans of Morris Staying
<v Speaker 5>the time.
<v Speaker 6>That's how I know that in.
<v Speaker 5>All of their movies Emmas d a Y and the
<v Speaker 5>time that they juggle up.
<v Speaker 6>I think, I want to know you girl.
<v Speaker 5>I want to show you nothing that you don't Oh
<v Speaker 5>my god.
<v Speaker 3>Oh we oh we know this one, Yes that I
<v Speaker 3>know this song.
<v Speaker 6>It's got a good beat, it does we should make
<v Speaker 6>that a music vs.
<v Speaker 3>They like going to people's hotel rooms, door rooms. She
<v Speaker 3>was a freshman in college. You like this?

<v Speaker 3>Your happy. We gotta do Patty, Hi, Patty, Hi, Patty.
<v Speaker 10>Hello, Happy Friday.
<v Speaker 2>Yay, Happy Friday to you. Okay, so you'll get the
<v Speaker 2>final word on this.
<v Speaker 3>Who did you get to meet?
<v Speaker 4>Okay?
<v Speaker 8>Well, mine'sin Nearly is cool. I didn't hang out or
<v Speaker 8>party with anybody, but I did spill a martini on
<v Speaker 8>Ellen DeGeneres.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, did she beat you up?
<v Speaker 1>I heard?
<v Speaker 3>Did she get up and dance?
<v Speaker 12>Actually?
<v Speaker 9>Very nice?
<v Speaker 8>So your wife. And it was this very expensive restaurant
<v Speaker 8>in southern California with the best lemon drops I've ever
<v Speaker 8>had in my life, and I maybe had too too many.
<v Speaker 8>And we saw her and my family is like, go
<v Speaker 8>walk by and see if it's her, and I tripped
<v Speaker 8>right at her table and spilled the whole martini.
<v Speaker 3>That's fantastic. Give all the places a trip. You spill
<v Speaker 3>on Ellen?
<v Speaker 2>And then shortly thereafter she left the country and Twitter show.
<v Speaker 6>Patty, I'm sure.
<v Speaker 5>The whole time you're talking yourself up to right, Patty,
<v Speaker 5>you got this.
<v Speaker 2>Oh Patty, I'm gonna let you go so you can
<v Speaker 2>get your drink on for the weekend.
<v Speaker 3>Thanks for holding YouTube.
<v Speaker 6>Bye bye to many martinis. Gosh, no text line, good
