<v Speaker 1>Tonight was the Thanksgiving Eve episode of AW Dynamite. Turkey
<v Speaker 1>Day is almost here. Getting ready for all that food.
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. I have
<v Speaker 1>two Thanksgiving feasts on Thursday and Friday. I'm already dreading.
<v Speaker 1>I'm already dreading all the food I'm gonna be eating.
<v Speaker 1>But before we got there, we had Dynamite Tonight coming
<v Speaker 1>out of Full Gear, and as we are heading into
<v Speaker 1>the month of December, it is also the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the Continental Classic. I believe this is the third year
<v Speaker 1>in a row that they are doing this tournament, and
<v Speaker 1>tonight was almost entirely dedicated to the Continental Classic. We
<v Speaker 1>had a whole series of matches here with one women's
<v Speaker 1>tag team titled Tournament Match sprinkled in along with a
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe promo. Having just beat Hangman Page to win
<v Speaker 1>the AW World Championship at Full Gear, it only made
<v Speaker 1>sense that we would hear from Joe here on this show.
<v Speaker 1>I don't like how we got no explanation from Hook
<v Speaker 1>why he did what he did, or how far back
<v Speaker 1>this plan goes. Of course, we saw Hook on Saturday
<v Speaker 1>come out and factor directly into the finish, assisting Joe
<v Speaker 1>and winning the championship. We didn't really get much out
<v Speaker 1>of him tonight. We flat out had Eddie Kingston in
<v Speaker 1>a backstage promo say I'm not addressing hook. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>addressing the hook thing tonight. So they didn't get into
<v Speaker 1>any of that stuff, and we have no idea at
<v Speaker 1>all whatsoever as far as what direction they are going
<v Speaker 1>in next. For Chris Statlander, coming off of her Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship win over Mercedes Monet, she was on the
<v Speaker 1>show briefly in a backstage segment. They gave no indication
<v Speaker 1>of where she is headed next, So we have no idea.
<v Speaker 1>Now me personally, you know, I'm a fan of the
<v Speaker 1>Continental Classic. I know not everybody is. Typically you're not
<v Speaker 1>going to get a whole lot in the way of
<v Speaker 1>story with it. If you look at the way that
<v Speaker 1>the leagues are put together this year, definitely more story
<v Speaker 1>or more story potential in this year's tournament, probably than
<v Speaker 1>any of the ones they've done so far. So we
<v Speaker 1>know that in the Gold League, we have Darby Allen,
<v Speaker 1>we have Pack, we have Kevin Knight, Speedball, Mike Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher and kazuchko O Kada. We just saw Pack
<v Speaker 1>pick up a win at full gear over Darby, so
<v Speaker 1>it stands to reason that at some point here in
<v Speaker 1>the Gold League Darby will likely get his win back
<v Speaker 1>over Pack. But that's the Gold League. It also means
<v Speaker 1>that Okata is going to have to wrestle Kyle Fletcher, right,
<v Speaker 1>we knew that, and we had that tonight. But as
<v Speaker 1>soon as it was announced, we knew those two we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have to wrestle Speedball and Kevin Knight, They're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to wrestle each other as well. Of course they're
<v Speaker 1>tag team partners. On the Blue League side, we have
<v Speaker 1>Kenoski Takeshta, John Moxley, Claudio Cassignoli, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong
<v Speaker 1>taking the place of the injured Kyle O'Reilly injured. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure it's any sort of legitimate injury, but they're
<v Speaker 1>claiming that coming out of his match with John Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>he's too beat up to be a participant in the tournament.
<v Speaker 1>So Roddy ends up getting his spot and Mascuroderata. So
<v Speaker 1>you look at the Blue League and the thing that
<v Speaker 1>stands out like neon lights flashing lights, is that Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and Claudio are going to have to wrestle each other,
<v Speaker 1>and now we know that that match is going to
<v Speaker 1>be taking place next week. And I look at these
<v Speaker 1>two leagues, and for me, the Gold League is the
<v Speaker 1>superior of the two leagues. I mean, I look at
<v Speaker 1>the Gold League in the Blue League here, I'm a
<v Speaker 1>Gold League guy. But this tournament we talk about story,
<v Speaker 1>story threads. Here in this tournament, everything is primed and
<v Speaker 1>set up for a finals confrontation between Okada and Takeshta,
<v Speaker 1>which is the story that honestly is my favorite on
<v Speaker 1>aw television now for the past few months, and they've
<v Speaker 1>taken the slow burn approach with it. Everything is building
<v Speaker 1>and building, and it seems to be building. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I've been saying this for a few months now. Everything
<v Speaker 1>would seem to be building for the finals of this tournament.
<v Speaker 1>Right they're in opposing leagues. We know that the finals,
<v Speaker 1>actually the finals of each league and the finals of
<v Speaker 1>the entire thing are taking place at World's End, So
<v Speaker 1>that's coming up on December twenty seventh, that's about a
<v Speaker 1>month away. Everything needs to be building to Okata and Takeshda,
<v Speaker 1>which makes things very predictable. It does, but that's okay.
<v Speaker 1>If the story is there and you're building up to
<v Speaker 1>a match that people want to see, that's fine. What
<v Speaker 1>we actually got on the show tonight were a couple
<v Speaker 1>of upsets to in my opinion, a couple of upsets
<v Speaker 1>here in this tournament. And it's only the first night.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll get into what those were, and then we'll
<v Speaker 1>get through your super chat questions and get you on
<v Speaker 1>out of here for the holiday. But thank you for
<v Speaker 1>spending your Thanksgiving Eve with me. It is Wednesday, November
<v Speaker 1>twenty sixth, twenty twenty five. This is your aw Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>Thanksgiving Eve review. I am the Solemn Monster, celebrating eighteen
<v Speaker 1>years of the sound off all November long. As we
<v Speaker 1>wind down, we only got one more live stream left
<v Speaker 1>to go, that Survivor series coming up this weekend. Because
<v Speaker 1>I will not be here on Friday, can subscribe. Like
<v Speaker 1>I said, super chats are open. I will be reading
<v Speaker 1>your messages in a little bit, so we're going to
<v Speaker 1>get on into that and then we'll get you on
<v Speaker 1>out of here. So let's start from the top, because
<v Speaker 1>we kicked off the Continental Classic with Gold League Action
<v Speaker 1>here on the show tonight with two members of the
<v Speaker 1>Don Kallis family, we had Kazuchka Okada. Now this is
<v Speaker 1>where it gets a little messy. So we know that
<v Speaker 1>Okata beat Kenny Omega to become the first ever unified champion,
<v Speaker 1>and in so doing he unified the International title and
<v Speaker 1>the Continental title to form the unified Championship, which we
<v Speaker 1>were told at the time does not mean that the
<v Speaker 1>International title and the Continental title retired. In fact, their
<v Speaker 1>lineage lives on, according to Tony Kahn. So in theory,
<v Speaker 1>all these months have gone by, Okata could defend any
<v Speaker 1>of those championships individually. Now of course he didn't and
<v Speaker 1>he's not going to. So he's had this unified title.
<v Speaker 1>But now the Continental Classic is here, and we see
<v Speaker 1>the Continental Championship is sitting on top of the announced
<v Speaker 1>desk at ringside. So we have Okada and we have
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher, two members of the Kallus family who are
<v Speaker 1>gonna go one on one here. Don Kallis is on
<v Speaker 1>commentary at ringside. Now, they make it very clear in
<v Speaker 1>these matches there is no outside interference. Managers are not
<v Speaker 1>allowed at ringside. But the loophole is that Callous sometimes
<v Speaker 1>does commentary, so they allow him at ringside to do commentary. Now,
<v Speaker 1>it's less of a concern, I guess here in a
<v Speaker 1>match like this because both men have happened to be
<v Speaker 1>a part of his family, which is not hard to
<v Speaker 1>believe because he's got a million members of his family.
<v Speaker 1>But still it's a little bit of a loophole. That's
<v Speaker 1>kind of dumb, don't you think. I mean, either people
<v Speaker 1>are allowed at ringside or they're not. They should not
<v Speaker 1>be making exceptions for anyone. But the continental title is
<v Speaker 1>sitting right there on top of the announced desk, and
<v Speaker 1>this tournament is not for the Unified Championship, and they
<v Speaker 1>made that clear. It's for the Continental title, which means
<v Speaker 1>that if Okada does not win this tournament, there is
<v Speaker 1>no longer a unified Championship. That belt goes away because
<v Speaker 1>let's say Takeshta wins the tournament, Takesha would be the
<v Speaker 1>new Continental champion. Okada would just be the International champion
<v Speaker 1>because that title still lives on He even walked out
<v Speaker 1>with it to the ring tonight. But the Continental title
<v Speaker 1>and the International title would effectively replace the Unified Championship,
<v Speaker 1>which would be on the back burner at least temporarily.
<v Speaker 1>This is all very convoluted and very unnecessary. And I
<v Speaker 1>said as much when they introduced this championship. I say
<v Speaker 1>it whenever they introduce any new championship in this company.
<v Speaker 1>They just introduced the national Championship, which really serves the
<v Speaker 1>purpose that the international title originally served in this company
<v Speaker 1>before they got away from you know, doing defenses overseas
<v Speaker 1>and and other promotions. But this is what happens when
<v Speaker 1>you know, you have Tony Kahan who has a belt
<v Speaker 1>fetish and can't help himself, and he's introducing this belt
<v Speaker 1>and this belt and this belt and this belt. You
<v Speaker 1>end up with a tournament here where things are just
<v Speaker 1>more convoluted than they need to be, you know, and
<v Speaker 1>there's any number of things, namely, you know, you can
<v Speaker 1>have a shot at the World Championship. And when they
<v Speaker 1>first introduced this tournament, I talked about this is three
<v Speaker 1>years ago. This is not new stuff. I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to relitigate that. But like watching that and listening to
<v Speaker 1>them explain it, like I get what they're saying, but
<v Speaker 1>it's still unnecessarily convoluted. The whole thing is just very stupid.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, Okada reached out for a handshake at the bell.
<v Speaker 1>They both tried to kick each other during the handshake,
<v Speaker 1>and they ended up holding each other's legs, so they
<v Speaker 1>worked through some counters. In reversals, slapped hands to show
<v Speaker 1>some respect to each other. After some back and forth,
<v Speaker 1>Okada teased a slap to the chest, but he pulled
<v Speaker 1>back and he landed a kick. Fletcher, though very quickly
<v Speaker 1>hit the ropes and fired back with a tackle. Okada
<v Speaker 1>he crouched Fletcher in the corner by shoving the referee
<v Speaker 1>into the ropes with his foot, and then he dropped
<v Speaker 1>kicked him off the ropes and out to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>That took us into a commercial, so Fletcher returned the
<v Speaker 1>favor by shoving the referee into the ropes and causing
<v Speaker 1>Okada to crosh himself. Then he jumped to the top
<v Speaker 1>rope he delivered a superplex. Later on in the match,
<v Speaker 1>Okada rolled to the outside. Fletcher pursued him and got
<v Speaker 1>tripped on the apron, and Okada quickly delivered a DDT
<v Speaker 1>from the apron to the floor. He then took the
<v Speaker 1>action back into the ring. Okada delivered a tombs stone
<v Speaker 1>pile driver. Fletcher recovered, though countered into a Mitchiinoku driver
<v Speaker 1>could not make a cover though, and at this point
<v Speaker 1>we got the time call from Justin Roberts fifteen minutes
<v Speaker 1>five remaining because these matches have twenty minute time limits. Again,
<v Speaker 1>he get three points for a win, no points if
<v Speaker 1>you don't win. So Fletcher picked up Okada. Then he
<v Speaker 1>lawn darted him into the middle turn buckle in the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He followed that up with a lagerbomb, covered for a
<v Speaker 1>close near fall. Fletcher attempted a brainbuster. Okada slipped out though,
<v Speaker 1>and he gouged the eyes. He went for a rain maker. Fletcher, though,
<v Speaker 1>countered into a roll up pin and he got the
<v Speaker 1>wind with the flash pin. Kyle Fletcher picks up the
<v Speaker 1>win here and after the match was over, Fletcher offered
<v Speaker 1>a handshake. Okada was teasing the flip off, but instead
<v Speaker 1>he put the hand in for the handshake and Callous
<v Speaker 1>was all smiles and he got in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he held up both men's arms celebrated with both of them.
<v Speaker 1>This was a very good match. Hot start here to
<v Speaker 1>the tournament, with Fletcher now beating Okada back to back
<v Speaker 1>years in the Continental Classic because they had a match
<v Speaker 1>on Collision one year ago and Fletcher beat Okada. Then
<v Speaker 1>so here we are in twenty twenty five, history repeats itself.
<v Speaker 1>Fletcher is also coming off a loss at full gear.
<v Speaker 1>He lost his TNT championship to Mark Briscoe, so this
<v Speaker 1>was a big way to get him back in the
<v Speaker 1>win column with a win over somebody who's not undefeated.
<v Speaker 1>But Okata has been largely protected, you know, in the
<v Speaker 1>time that he has been in this company. I mean
<v Speaker 1>you think he's beginning of next year, he'll be going
<v Speaker 1>on what two years, I think two full years is
<v Speaker 1>a full time performer in this company. And you could
<v Speaker 1>probably count the number of losses that he has taken,
<v Speaker 1>if not on one hand, definitely on two and still
<v Speaker 1>have fingers left over. So he's very well protected. When
<v Speaker 1>he gets beat, it does feel like it means something.
<v Speaker 1>It'll mean more to Fletcher being able to, you know,
<v Speaker 1>pick up a win like that, no harm to Okada.
<v Speaker 1>We know that Okada is going to the finals. Is
<v Speaker 1>he gonna win? Is he gonna lose? We can you
<v Speaker 1>know talk about that. I think ta Kesha this should
<v Speaker 1>be his tournament to lose. But regardless we know what
<v Speaker 1>the final is going to be. Anything other than Okada
<v Speaker 1>and Takesha in the finals. To me, would be ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>So it's predictable. So what do you do? This is
<v Speaker 1>one of the things that you can do. You could
<v Speaker 1>shake things up a little bit by giving people an
<v Speaker 1>outcome that a lot of fans probably wouldn't be expecting. Now,
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, Okada, who's the favorite to at
<v Speaker 1>least go to the finals, is now fighting from behind. Right,
<v Speaker 1>you give him a little bit of adversity. Now he's
<v Speaker 1>got to, you know, fight his way back because the
<v Speaker 1>points went to the other guy. So I like that
<v Speaker 1>they started the tournament with, you know, an upset win
<v Speaker 1>right out of the gate. They gave you what I
<v Speaker 1>would consider to be an upset win. But this was
<v Speaker 1>a very good match. At backstage, Lexi and Air was
<v Speaker 1>talking to Kenny Omegan, who popped out of his dressing room,
<v Speaker 1>and she asked if it's safe to say that after
<v Speaker 1>the events of Full Gear that he and the Young
<v Speaker 1>Bucks have been reunited, and Omega said that we've seen
<v Speaker 1>him do things that he's not proud of, and he's
<v Speaker 1>been fooled by Don Kallus before also right, as have
<v Speaker 1>the Bucks, So he would be a fool not to
<v Speaker 1>take that into account with where he and the Young
<v Speaker 1>Bucks stand, and if his friends are willing to accept
<v Speaker 1>him and the fans are willing to accept him for
<v Speaker 1>who he is after all that he's done, who is
<v Speaker 1>he to say that the Bucks don't deserve a second chance.
<v Speaker 1>That's all he had to say. And he retreated back
<v Speaker 1>into his dressing room, and maybe five seconds go by
<v Speaker 1>and the door swings open again, and who comes out
<v Speaker 1>but the Young Bucks, and Lexi has a very confused
<v Speaker 1>look on her face as the Bucks say, oh, excuse me,
<v Speaker 1>and they just walk away. I'm not sure why she
<v Speaker 1>was so confused in this moment, because she literally led
<v Speaker 1>the interview off by asking Kenny Omega, is it safe
<v Speaker 1>to assume that you guys are reunited and back on
<v Speaker 1>the same page. So I'm not sure why she had
<v Speaker 1>this confused expression on her face. But that was the
<v Speaker 1>extent to which we had any sort of, you know,
<v Speaker 1>follow up to what we saw on Saturday, where we
<v Speaker 1>did have an elite reunion at the end of that
<v Speaker 1>million dollar match, which ended up being by the way,
<v Speaker 1>the million dollars that they made such a big deal
<v Speaker 1>about in that match that technically you know the Bucks
<v Speaker 1>won and then you know Hatchisaro was walking it. They
<v Speaker 1>stole the money back at Hetches. Sarah is walking around
<v Speaker 1>with the money at the end of the pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>Total non factor. We'll see if it gets brought up
<v Speaker 1>on Collision because they're taping Collision, which is airing tomorrow night.
<v Speaker 1>But the million dollars, which is supposed to be a
<v Speaker 1>big deal, was a total non factor. So we got
<v Speaker 1>highlights of the TNT title match of Full Gear with
<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe finally beating Kyle Fletcher, and we go to
<v Speaker 1>Briscoe who is sitting in a chair backstage, still bloody,
<v Speaker 1>fresh off the match. He's got his brand new TNT
<v Speaker 1>Championship and he says that he lost the most important
<v Speaker 1>thing to him, his brother, his other half. It's been
<v Speaker 1>a long road since then, not knowing if he would
<v Speaker 1>want to continue wrestling without him, should I even keep
<v Speaker 1>doing this, But he realized that he had to do
<v Speaker 1>it for family. Says this title is for not only
<v Speaker 1>his real family, but his road family as well, the conglomeration.
<v Speaker 1>It's also for Delaware and then he looks up but
<v Speaker 1>he says that this is for Jay and you know
<v Speaker 1>he have a little bit more to say to it
<v Speaker 1>than that, but that was kind of the gist of it.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was the hell of a promo, just
<v Speaker 1>very heartfelt. He wasn't acting all wacky and goofy and
<v Speaker 1>crazy like he normally does and over the top. They
<v Speaker 1>shot this immediately after the match on Saturday, and it
<v Speaker 1>was just a very short, to the point, heartfelt Babyface promo.
<v Speaker 1>So I thought this was good. And again, where he
<v Speaker 1>goes from here, we don't know. There's a lot we
<v Speaker 1>don't know as far as where certain champions and certain
<v Speaker 1>people are going coming out of full gear. They didn't
<v Speaker 1>have time to address all of it. I think they
<v Speaker 1>still should have addressed some of it more than they did,
<v Speaker 1>given that this was the first big show coming out
<v Speaker 1>of the pay per view. But again, they're taping Collision,
<v Speaker 1>which is airing tomorrow and we'll see if they shed
<v Speaker 1>any more light on that. We had a semi final
<v Speaker 1>round match and the women's tag team title tournament, two
<v Speaker 1>tournaments at once. We have here, we have a women's tournament,
<v Speaker 1>we have the Continental Classic. Wouldn't shock me, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>if next year we get a women's Continental Classic. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna make that prediction. Now, but we had Willow Nightingale
<v Speaker 1>and Harley Cameron against the sisters of Sin Julia Hart
<v Speaker 1>and sky Blue Heart and Blue. They delivered a double
<v Speaker 1>team pancake to Harley Cameron, but Willow pulled Julia to
<v Speaker 1>the floor and then tossed her into the barricade. While
<v Speaker 1>Harley regained control inside the ring, Julia created a distraction
<v Speaker 1>so sky Blue could deliver a neck breaker, and that
<v Speaker 1>took us into a commercial break. Now, after the break,
<v Speaker 1>Julia walked the rope. She delivered a flying forearm. Harley
<v Speaker 1>desperately reached for the tag. She got the tag to Willow.
<v Speaker 1>Sky Blue made a blind tag. She waited for Willow
<v Speaker 1>to land a spinebuster to then make a surprise ambush
<v Speaker 1>Heart and Blue. They delivered double kicks front and back
<v Speaker 1>to Willow, and sky Blue covered only for a two count.
<v Speaker 1>Willow fired back with a double suplex and then Harley
<v Speaker 1>tagged in and she ended up down as Julia went
<v Speaker 1>up for her moon saw. Now, Julia Hart has a
<v Speaker 1>great looking moon saw. It's very smooth as she's sailing
<v Speaker 1>through the air. The problem in this case was she
<v Speaker 1>came down for the moon salt and she completely overshot
<v Speaker 1>Harley Cameron. There was nobody there, so Harley is laying
<v Speaker 1>here and Julia went a little past her, and then
<v Speaker 1>she tried to compensate because she realized she fucked up,
<v Speaker 1>so she kind of pops up, not even to her feet,
<v Speaker 1>almost to like her knees, and she immediately pops up
<v Speaker 1>and then sort of flopped onto her with a with
<v Speaker 1>like a little diving elbow, just to try to salvage
<v Speaker 1>the spot. This was very embarrassing. I mean, look, shit happens,
<v Speaker 1>but this did, this did not This did not look
<v Speaker 1>good here. So Willow ends up getting a blind tag.
<v Speaker 1>Harley lands a backstabber on sky Blue, while Willow delivers
<v Speaker 1>a doctor bomb to Julia for the wind. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe Julia saw somebody, maybe you know John cenasted in
<v Speaker 1>a few weeks, maybe he's making the rounds. Maybe she
<v Speaker 1>saw John Cena laying there, and I don't know. She
<v Speaker 1>overshot her target, but Willow and Harley pick up the win.
<v Speaker 1>It got a little messy, and not even just the
<v Speaker 1>moon salt spot, like in the immediate aftermath of the
<v Speaker 1>Moon salt spot. It just got a little messy here
<v Speaker 1>at the end. I thought it was solid enough though
<v Speaker 1>on the whole, so Willow and Harley. They advanced to
<v Speaker 1>the finals, they're going to face either Tony Storm and
<v Speaker 1>Mina Shirakawa baby Faces against Babyface, or they'll be wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Megan Bain and Marina Shafir. I could see this going
<v Speaker 1>either way. Now. I made a prediction on my end
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning of all this that Tony Storm and
<v Speaker 1>Mina shira Cow would win the women's tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>A couple of big names, especially Tony. I mean, Tony
<v Speaker 1>is the biggest name in the women's division. You put
<v Speaker 1>those titles on the two of them. They don't have
<v Speaker 1>a whole lot going on right now. I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>they need it. They don't need I mean it's not like,
<v Speaker 1>oh they don't win these titles, My god, what are
<v Speaker 1>they gonna do? But right now they don't have anything
<v Speaker 1>going on right They had championships of their own, they
<v Speaker 1>both lost them. They found each other, So it stands
<v Speaker 1>to reason that they would stand tall at the end
<v Speaker 1>of this tournament, right two big names in that division
<v Speaker 1>be the first women's tag team champions, and then whoever
<v Speaker 1>they drop those titles to, whoever they feud with and
<v Speaker 1>they drop those belts to later on whenever they lose them,
<v Speaker 1>would hopefully, you know, be better off for having beaten
<v Speaker 1>Tony Storm and Mina Shirakawa. That's kind of my logic
<v Speaker 1>behind them winning this tournament. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron
<v Speaker 1>could very easily win this tournament because the fans like them.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Willow is Willow's awesome. Harley is great, right,
<v Speaker 1>very likable, very charismatic, so is Willow. I don't have
<v Speaker 1>any issue with any of them winning this tournament. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna stick with my prediction. Even though Tony Amina they
<v Speaker 1>won the four way at full gear, so they won
<v Speaker 1>the right to pick a stipulation for their match against
<v Speaker 1>Megan baineam Marina Shafir, which I'll get to you later,
<v Speaker 1>and that makes it a little less likely that they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna come out on top of that match, But I'm
<v Speaker 1>sticking with them. I'm still picking them to win the tournament. Now.
<v Speaker 1>After this, Tony Shavanni was in the ring. Wait, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, wait until we get to the stipulation for
<v Speaker 1>that match. Gee, I wonder what kind of stipulation they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna pick for that match. In this tournament. I'll give
<v Speaker 1>you a hint. If you've been watching AW television for
<v Speaker 1>the past two weeks, it should be pretty easy to
<v Speaker 1>figure out what kind of match it's gonna be. Tony
<v Speaker 1>Shavanni was in the ring after a break to introduce
<v Speaker 1>the brand new two time AW World Champion and still
<v Speaker 1>one third of the Trios Champions. He's a double champion.
<v Speaker 1>He had gold over both shoulders. Samoa Joe out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring with Powerhouse Hobbs and Katiori Shabaham. Joe immediately
<v Speaker 1>swipes the microphone away from Shavanni, tells him tonight is
<v Speaker 1>his celebration, so don't ruin it and take your He'll
<v Speaker 1>billy ass out of here. So before Joe could say
<v Speaker 1>anything else, they cut to outside the venue and we
<v Speaker 1>see Swerve Strickland. He pulls up. I don't think he
<v Speaker 1>was driving. It was Prince Nana who was driving. He
<v Speaker 1>pulls up in an suv outside and Nana tells him
<v Speaker 1>go get him boss, and he's got a staple gun,
<v Speaker 1>his favorite weapon of choice. So Swerve is walking into
<v Speaker 1>the building and that's when all of a sudden, you
<v Speaker 1>see Hangman at him. Page shows up and joins him,
<v Speaker 1>and now he's walking into the building as well, and
<v Speaker 1>he has a chain in his hand, and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>gonna lie. I mean, the sight of the two of
<v Speaker 1>them now is allies side by side walking into the
<v Speaker 1>building Like that was pretty cool. So the two of
<v Speaker 1>them walk backstage in the ring. Joe, who sees all
<v Speaker 1>of this happening, he tells Shabata go get the scrubs,
<v Speaker 1>and moments later, Shabata brings out the members of the
<v Speaker 1>Ops Dojo to the ring. So this is why when
<v Speaker 1>I talk about these shows and I talk about the
<v Speaker 1>security geeks on Saturday, I talked about the the Ops
<v Speaker 1>Dojo geeks, it's because that's what they are. Like Joe
<v Speaker 1>himself is calling them scrubs. I call them geeks. He
<v Speaker 1>calls them scrubs. That's their role, that's their job on
<v Speaker 1>the show. Their job is to show up and get
<v Speaker 1>their asses handed to them. So you already knew what
<v Speaker 1>was coming. So Shabata returns. He's got all of the
<v Speaker 1>Dojo geeks with him in the ring now, and the
<v Speaker 1>Ops Dojo guys are surrounding the ring. As Joe says
<v Speaker 1>that everything went according to plant Shabata, he nullified Eddie
<v Speaker 1>Kingston and Hobbs showed off his feats of strength all
<v Speaker 1>the way to me, musclebustering Hangman in the middle of ring.
<v Speaker 1>The simpletons here in the crowd won't understand what went down.
<v Speaker 1>So here's a video package on how we got here.
<v Speaker 1>So they cut to a video package of Hook and
<v Speaker 1>how he started running with Eddie Kingston and showing the
<v Speaker 1>run in where Hook had a little run in many
<v Speaker 1>many weeks ago, with Joe and Hobbs backstage with the
<v Speaker 1>Hook telling Joe I'll always have your back, and then
<v Speaker 1>Hook turning on Hangman at full gear, helping Joe win
<v Speaker 1>the championship. So Joe said that was some of his
<v Speaker 1>best work and now the fans can have a champion
<v Speaker 1>worthy of being called the greatest in this industry. So
<v Speaker 1>Joe introduces Hook, who comes out to his terrible music.
<v Speaker 1>And I will say this now that he's a heel.
<v Speaker 1>This crooner music that he has awful as it is
<v Speaker 1>for as a wrestling theme song. It's just fucking terrible.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm not saying that sitting around, you know,
<v Speaker 1>sipping a latte at home reading the newspaper. It's not
<v Speaker 1>a bad song. To have play in the background. But
<v Speaker 1>as far as a wrestling entrance theme is concerned, it sucks.
<v Speaker 1>But now that he's a heel, it's a little bit
<v Speaker 1>better than it was at when he was a babyface
<v Speaker 1>coming out to it, because now it just fits a
<v Speaker 1>little bit better as far like this smug, helish persona
<v Speaker 1>that he has now, but it's still terrible, like it's
<v Speaker 1>just absolutely awful. So Hook comes out, he hugs the ops.
<v Speaker 1>Hook said that Joe was right. All these rednecks are
<v Speaker 1>too stupid to realize that he's the greatest second generation
<v Speaker 1>wrestler this business has ever seen. That's about all we
<v Speaker 1>got out of Hook here. Now we can listen to
<v Speaker 1>Joe and we can watch the little video package and
<v Speaker 1>deduce that this was a plan all along, right, But
<v Speaker 1>even so, it would have been nice to hear a
<v Speaker 1>little bit more from Hook, given how important his role
<v Speaker 1>was in the pay per view on Saturday. We didn't
<v Speaker 1>get much out of him here until Swerves new music
<v Speaker 1>hits and they show him and he's coming through the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>and I guess, as they say, he's Aura farming, that's
<v Speaker 1>what he's doing. As he's slowly walking through the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>we have swerved Aura Farming as he makes his way
<v Speaker 1>out to the ring. Meanwhile, Hangman's music follows, and then
<v Speaker 1>they show him. He's at the bar. They're in one
<v Speaker 1>of these small they were in Nashville, I believe tonight.
<v Speaker 1>It might have been some kind of music hall. It
<v Speaker 1>was a small venue and there's like a little bar
<v Speaker 1>in the back. So of course Hangman's at the bar
<v Speaker 1>and he downs a shot and he proceeds to make
<v Speaker 1>his way through the crowd. Now, so they start wasting
<v Speaker 1>different members of the dojo, well, the dojo geeks. They're
<v Speaker 1>taking them out with their various weapons, the staple gun
<v Speaker 1>and the chain. Hangman actually had a beer bottle and
<v Speaker 1>he smashed the beer bottle over one of their heads.
<v Speaker 1>And whoever this geek was, he took this incredible bump
<v Speaker 1>where he just it was like a delayed bump where
<v Speaker 1>like a tree falling, and he just slowly fell down
<v Speaker 1>face first on the floor outside. So that was great.
<v Speaker 1>He splatted on the ground. So Page and Strickland they
<v Speaker 1>rushed the ring. Of course, the ops bails and there's
<v Speaker 1>two dojo dorks who are left behind, and they get
<v Speaker 1>chains wrapped around their necks. They get thrown over the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. Hangman is hanging one of them, Swerve is
<v Speaker 1>hanging the other one as they're looking at Joe and
<v Speaker 1>the Ops on stage, who were watching all of the
<v Speaker 1>mayhem that is unfolding in front of them, and that's
<v Speaker 1>what brought the segment to a close. You know, Can
<v Speaker 1>I just say this, I didn't mention this on Saturday,
<v Speaker 1>but just watching what Swerve has done so far since
<v Speaker 1>coming back, it is kind of ridiculous that the last
<v Speaker 1>time that we saw Swerve Strickland before he went away,
<v Speaker 1>he was injured storyline, injured right by the don Kallis family. Right,
<v Speaker 1>whether it was Okada or Wardlow, whatever it was, it
<v Speaker 1>was the Callous family that was in storyline responsible for
<v Speaker 1>Swerve Strickland being on the shelf and needing surgery and
<v Speaker 1>being out for a few months. And then the first
<v Speaker 1>time that we see Swerve back on TV, he's not
<v Speaker 1>going after the Callous family. He's coming out and going
<v Speaker 1>after the ops. Same thing tonight. He's out there, he's
<v Speaker 1>got his staple gun and he's going after the ops. Now,
<v Speaker 1>why wouldn't he be going after the Callous family since
<v Speaker 1>they're the ones that took him out in the first place.
<v Speaker 1>They're the ones that laid him up on the shelf.
<v Speaker 1>For months, it's been no mention of this. It's just
<v Speaker 1>sort of forgotten about. Today's episode is sponsored by Better Help.
<v Speaker 1>One thing I hate about the fall season is how
<v Speaker 1>it gets darker earlier. Makes me feel like I somehow
<v Speaker 1>have fewer hours in the day to get stuff done.
<v Speaker 1>And honestly, I just find it to be depressing when
<v Speaker 1>I look out the window of four o'clock in the
<v Speaker 1>afternoon and it's pitch black outside. But it really can
<v Speaker 1>have a negative effect on your mental state. That's why
<v Speaker 1>all November long, Better Help is encouraging you to reach out,
<v Speaker 1>whether it be to reconnect with an old friend that
<v Speaker 1>you haven't spoken to in forever, or to check in
<v Speaker 1>on a family member, to remind the people in your
<v Speaker 1>life that you're there and they're not alone. And just
<v Speaker 1>like it takes courage to send that message or make
<v Speaker 1>that phone call, seeking out help in the form of
<v Speaker 1>therapy can feel intimidating also, but it's worth it. You'll
<v Speaker 1>be asking yourself, man, how come I didn't do this sooner?
<v Speaker 1>Finding the right therapist can be life changing, and Better
<v Speaker 1>Help makes that process simple. They do the initial matching
<v Speaker 1>work for you so that you can focus on your
<v Speaker 1>therapy goals. All you do is fill out a short
<v Speaker 1>questionnaire which helps identify your needs and preferences. In their
<v Speaker 1>twelve plus years of experience and industry leading match fulfillment
<v Speaker 1>rate mean they usually get it right the first time,
<v Speaker 1>but if for any reason you're not happy with your match,
<v Speaker 1>you can switch to a different therapist at any time.
<v Speaker 1>And all Better Help therapists are fully licensed in the US,
<v Speaker 1>adhering to a strict code of conduct in all the
<v Speaker 1>work they do. As the world's largest online therapy platform
<v Speaker 1>with over thirty thousand therapists, Better Help has an average
<v Speaker 1>rating of four point nine out of five for a
<v Speaker 1>live session based on more than one point seven million
<v Speaker 1>client reviews. The numbers speak for themselves. This month, don't
<v Speaker 1>wait to reach out. Whether you're checking in on a
<v Speaker 1>friend or reaching out to a therapist yourself, Better Help
<v Speaker 1>makes it easier to take that first step. Solo Monster
<v Speaker 1>listeners get ten percent off their first month at betterhelp
<v Speaker 1>dot com slash solom Monster. That's better h e lp
<v Speaker 1>dot com slash solom monster. But I am happy to
<v Speaker 1>see him back and It's a big you know, get
<v Speaker 1>for Tony Kahan as far as big names that have
<v Speaker 1>been out being able to get him back and having
<v Speaker 1>him right away basically in the world title picture would
<v Speaker 1>have been no harm in having him come back and
<v Speaker 1>you know, try to take a measure of revenge on
<v Speaker 1>one of the many members of the Kallis family, whoever
<v Speaker 1>it was, and then transition him back into the world
<v Speaker 1>title picture. But he's he's in the world title picture now,
<v Speaker 1>and you know that's the big question. Now we have
<v Speaker 1>World's End coming up on December twenty seventh, so we
<v Speaker 1>know the Continental Classic finals are going to be there,
<v Speaker 1>but like, what's the title match going to be? Are
<v Speaker 1>they just going to set up for another match, a
<v Speaker 1>third match, because now they're you know one and one
<v Speaker 1>between Samoa Joe and Hangman Page. It's so where does
<v Speaker 1>Swerve fit into all this? To Swerve just wrestle you know,
<v Speaker 1>powerhouse hobs, Like, what does he do? Because to go
<v Speaker 1>to Swerve and Joe really doesn't make any sense because
<v Speaker 1>Swerve hasn't even wrestled the match in months. You know,
<v Speaker 1>what has he done to earn a shot at the
<v Speaker 1>World Championship. He's got to get some w's under his
<v Speaker 1>belt first. That hasn't happened yet, so I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>who's getting that match hang Right now, it would appear
<v Speaker 1>to be Hangman and Joe again at World's End. MJF
<v Speaker 1>is still out there. We don't know when he's going
<v Speaker 1>to be back. He's got that contract, so he's sort
<v Speaker 1>of lurking in the shadows somewhere. So that's another question
<v Speaker 1>that still has to be answered, is who is going
<v Speaker 1>to be, you know, next in line to challenge if
<v Speaker 1>you do Joe and Hangman again. A third match of
<v Speaker 1>World's End, that could very well be where MJF shows up,
<v Speaker 1>but he can't cash in because the rule is he
<v Speaker 1>got to give a week's notice, so he could show up,
<v Speaker 1>but that doesn't mean he's actually going to be able
<v Speaker 1>to cash in and win the championship. I still think that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the longer term play here is to get
<v Speaker 1>that belt back on MJF and to do MJF and Swerve.
<v Speaker 1>That's a match that they have not done, they have
<v Speaker 1>teased it. That's a huge match. Maybe that's a match
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't happen until later in twenty twenty six. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>that's you know, the big all in match next year
<v Speaker 1>at Wembley. But you know, we still have him again
<v Speaker 1>lurking in the shadows, and we'll see, you know, how
<v Speaker 1>much longer it takes to get him back in the full.
<v Speaker 1>But Joe, I'd like to see Joe get more than
<v Speaker 1>a month with it. I think this is something you
<v Speaker 1>can play out for a few months what they did
<v Speaker 1>last time when Joe won the title from MJF. He
<v Speaker 1>won it at World's End, then he held it until Dynasty,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so he had a solid what was that
<v Speaker 1>four months three and a half months as the champion.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't mind seeing that again, at least to Revolution.
<v Speaker 1>I think you can keep the belt on Joe and
<v Speaker 1>keep pushing the ops and take it at least until Revolution,
<v Speaker 1>before you possibly, you know, change the title from him
<v Speaker 1>to somebody else, maybe MJF. You know, I wouldn't just
<v Speaker 1>put the belt right back on Hangman. I think you
<v Speaker 1>want to just play this out for a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, World's End. To me, as I sit here
<v Speaker 1>right now, it would it would seem to me that
<v Speaker 1>one more match with Hangman and Joe is what would
<v Speaker 1>make the most sense having Swerve in there. To me,
<v Speaker 1>just it doesn't compute. You know, you got you got
<v Speaker 1>to really build to that. Now, one more thing about that,
<v Speaker 1>By the way, before I move on, Joe is one
<v Speaker 1>third of the Trios Champions. Samoa Joe does not need
<v Speaker 1>to be a trios champion if he is the aw
<v Speaker 1>World Champion and hopefully will be for a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Hook now is back with the Ops. It appears I
<v Speaker 1>think that he should gift his Trios title to Hook
<v Speaker 1>and let Hook and Hobbs and Shabbata defend them. I
<v Speaker 1>really don't think there's a need to keep that belt
<v Speaker 1>on Joe. I mean, I guess they like the visual
<v Speaker 1>of him having two titles, But if I'm them, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just having him as a reward, right, as a reward
<v Speaker 1>for doing what he did at Full Gear. His holiday
<v Speaker 1>gift in the spirit of the holiday season, with Christmas
<v Speaker 1>coming up, Samoa Joe, he could even put it in
<v Speaker 1>a gift box next week, present Hook with this gift.
<v Speaker 1>He should have done it tonight, honestly, but present him
<v Speaker 1>with a gift, and that gift is his Trios championship.
<v Speaker 1>That's the way you get it off, Joe. Now, after
<v Speaker 1>the match from Full Gear on Saturday, there were some
<v Speaker 1>postmatch comments backstage at the Prudential Center from John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>after his loss to Kyle O'Reilly. Moxley said, he's doing
<v Speaker 1>just fine while O'Reilly is headed to the hospital, and
<v Speaker 1>we got footage of Moxley tapping out. Meanwhile, Pac won
<v Speaker 1>his match against Darby Allen. So the battles always continue tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>he says, as the playoffs are about to begin, and
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the Death Riders are just in the
<v Speaker 1>background watching as Moxley walks out of the shot. It
<v Speaker 1>was very interesting to pay attention to their facial expressions.
<v Speaker 1>They just did not like coming out of that match
<v Speaker 1>when Moxley lost, and then he beat up Kyle, and
<v Speaker 1>then you know, as he was leaving, they look very
<v Speaker 1>nonplussed with Moxley. You know, like all the signs are there.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they've dropped a lot of little hints. Everything
<v Speaker 1>is building hopefully to a big angle new next week.
<v Speaker 1>We'll talk about that in a little bit. But that
<v Speaker 1>led into the Blue League action in the Continental Classic
<v Speaker 1>with John Moxley against Mascara Dorada. As soon as I
<v Speaker 1>saw Mascara Dorada in that list of participants, I said,
<v Speaker 1>I know exactly what his role is here in this tournament.
<v Speaker 1>But this is interesting. It's an interesting little clash of
<v Speaker 1>styles here between these two. Slower paced to start, as
<v Speaker 1>Moxley tried to keep Dorada grounded until Dorada ramped it up,
<v Speaker 1>hit this wild head scissors to the outside. Moxley sidestepped
<v Speaker 1>a dive, slid back into the ring, hit one of
<v Speaker 1>his own, but he came out so fast, not as
<v Speaker 1>fast as Darby, but he came out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>so fast and head first. He went head first right
<v Speaker 1>into the top apparently padded part of the barricade, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he basically lawn darted himself into the top of the barricade.
<v Speaker 1>Back inside, Dorata hit a springboard cross body as Moxley
<v Speaker 1>rolled to the ramp, and again he avoided a dive.
<v Speaker 1>She dove off the ramp, which is every time I
<v Speaker 1>see somebody doing that. Yeah, because they run these smaller venues,
<v Speaker 1>so it's a very you have the stage and a
<v Speaker 1>very short ramp to the ring. But it just reminds
<v Speaker 1>me of how Adam Cole got hurt, you know, because
<v Speaker 1>they ran that Grand Slam show a couple of years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and he just he came out and he jumped off
<v Speaker 1>like he jumped off the ramp to the floor and
<v Speaker 1>fucked himself up badly. So now every time I see
<v Speaker 1>someone who just like jumps off the ramp like that.
<v Speaker 1>It's only a few feet, but I'm like, please, please,
<v Speaker 1>don't pull an Adam Cole. So Moxley he avoids disaster by,
<v Speaker 1>you know, jumping down to the floor. And at that
<v Speaker 1>point Dorado was going to come off. He got a
<v Speaker 1>running start. He was going to jump off the ramp
<v Speaker 1>himself with a dive, but as he did so on
<v Speaker 1>the way down, he got caught with a forearm shot.
<v Speaker 1>Not very smart. After a break, Moxley tried to create
<v Speaker 1>some distance, but Doroto would not allow it. He hit
<v Speaker 1>a torneo dive to the floor. Doroto was too slow
<v Speaker 1>to follow up, allowing Moxley to fire off a cutter.
<v Speaker 1>Dorota got an armbar as Moxley scrambled. And I have
<v Speaker 1>to give them credit for this because the way that
<v Speaker 1>they have had Moxley submitting, like in this feud with
<v Speaker 1>Kyle O'Reilly especially, and he's been submitting to various holes
<v Speaker 1>and he's been panicking anytime he gets trapped in a
<v Speaker 1>submission hold. He tapped out to Darby right in the
<v Speaker 1>scorpion deathlock at Wrestle Dream. They've done a good job
<v Speaker 1>of conditioning the audience to think that this guy might
<v Speaker 1>actually submit, because the crowd really reacted here as Dorota
<v Speaker 1>got that arm It wasn't even a great armbar, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>but he got on some version of an armbar, and
<v Speaker 1>people were sort of buying into it. So Moxley got
<v Speaker 1>out of it. He mounted him with punches. Dorado went
<v Speaker 1>up top, though he hit a four to fifty splash
<v Speaker 1>Moxley kicked out. Dorado went up top again. He tried
<v Speaker 1>a shooting star press, but this time Moxley got the
<v Speaker 1>knees up. He turned it into some sort of a choke.
<v Speaker 1>It's like they were almost head to head laying down,
<v Speaker 1>but he reached up and he kind of grabbed him,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like under his armpit and under the throat,
<v Speaker 1>and he grabs some sort of sleeper hold on and
<v Speaker 1>Doroto was flailing his legs and scrambling around and trying
<v Speaker 1>to get his feet on the ropes, but he wasn't
<v Speaker 1>anywhere close, and then eventually he faded. He went out.
<v Speaker 1>We got the rep stoppage and John Moxley wins the match.
<v Speaker 1>Good match here again, Dorota. He is the Beast Mortas
<v Speaker 1>of the tournament this year, or the Jay Lethal of
<v Speaker 1>the tournament this year, where I'm not sure he's going
<v Speaker 1>to win any matches. If he does, he might win one.
<v Speaker 1>But his job in this tournament is to go in
<v Speaker 1>there and have good matches and make his opponents look
<v Speaker 1>really good and then lose. That's his role, and it's
<v Speaker 1>the same role that Lethal and Juice Robinson and Mark
<v Speaker 1>Briscoe in the years past and other people have had,
<v Speaker 1>where you know, he's not racking up a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>of points, but he can go in there probably work
<v Speaker 1>with almost anybody and have at least a good match.
<v Speaker 1>And that's what this was. Again. You have two guys
<v Speaker 1>who wrestled two completely different styles. This was a John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley match. There were no weapons, there were no forks,
<v Speaker 1>there was no blood, none of that. There was a
<v Speaker 1>lot of lucha and I thought they worked well together. Now,
<v Speaker 1>after the match, Marina Shaffir came to the ring because
<v Speaker 1>she wasn't allowed at ringside during the match, but she
<v Speaker 1>came to the ring to uh, thank you. Its a
<v Speaker 1>reverse cravat. I couldn't think of what the name of
<v Speaker 1>that hold was a reverse cravat. So Marina hits the ring.
<v Speaker 1>She's checking on Moxley and we hear timeless Tony Storm's music.
<v Speaker 1>So this was interesting because we had a Timeless Tony
<v Speaker 1>Storm promo basically on John Moxley. With John Moxley in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. She comes out, She gets into the ring
<v Speaker 1>with Moxley and Marina Shaffir. She tells Johnny that his
<v Speaker 1>eyes were not deceiving him. This is timeless Tony Storm,
<v Speaker 1>the toughest, most resilient, least bitchy person in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Despite Moxley's love of cargo pants, she says she likes him.
<v Speaker 1>Whereas he operates in fear and hate, she operates in love,
<v Speaker 1>which is far more violent than he could ever imagine.
<v Speaker 1>Storm would love to stay in chat all night, just
<v Speaker 1>thus gals, but she has a message for his cave
<v Speaker 1>woman daughter. As per the Love Bombs win at full gear,
<v Speaker 1>their stipulation in their semi final round match has to
<v Speaker 1>be brutal enough to exact revenge while entertaining enough for
<v Speaker 1>the sickos. She said it not me. She said that
<v Speaker 1>she couldn't come up with a stiflation for their match,
<v Speaker 1>but then she had an epiphany. After four nights straight,
<v Speaker 1>she rolled over in bed and saw her sweet Mina
<v Speaker 1>and Mina at this point she walked out on stage
<v Speaker 1>and my god, she I mean, this woman was just
<v Speaker 1>busting I don't know any other way to put it,
<v Speaker 1>just busting out of her top hair as she walked
<v Speaker 1>out on stage, and Tony says she realized that she
<v Speaker 1>hadn't gotten her anything for Christmas. That Tony said her
<v Speaker 1>gift to Mina is a no disqualification, no tags, hardcore
<v Speaker 1>Holiday deathmatch in the Women's tag team title tournament against
<v Speaker 1>Marina Shaffir and Megan Bain and Moxley had to physically
<v Speaker 1>restrain Marina Shaffir from attacking Tony at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the segment. Because of course, we haven't gotten enough hardcore action.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't gotten enough blood and tax and Barbara and
<v Speaker 1>kendosticks and tables and weapons and glass. Let's do it again.
<v Speaker 1>They're obsessed. This tournament doesn't need any stipulations, but we're
<v Speaker 1>right back to the hardcore stuff because we haven't gotten
<v Speaker 1>enough of it over the last two weeks. So that'll
<v Speaker 1>be next week. I'm sure the sick ohs will enjoy
<v Speaker 1>Renee was backstage with Chris Statlander, calling her the greatest
<v Speaker 1>in the galaxy, the second woman ever in aw to
<v Speaker 1>pen Mercedes Monette. Statlander said that she's seen nothing but
<v Speaker 1>disbelief in people's faces that she is the only person
<v Speaker 1>to win the women's and TBS titles. There's three options
<v Speaker 1>for her going forward. You could face the past, you
<v Speaker 1>could face the present, or you could look to the future.
<v Speaker 1>Statlander knows where she's going. Who's coming with me? How's it?
<v Speaker 1>We learned absolutely nothing about what's next for Chris Statlander,
<v Speaker 1>the women's world champion. We know nothing, Like Sergeant Schultz,
<v Speaker 1>I know nothing. We got no clarity at all about
<v Speaker 1>where she's going. So who she's going to defend her
<v Speaker 1>championship against. I look at the division right A lot
<v Speaker 1>of the women right now are tied up in this
<v Speaker 1>women's Tag Team Tour. I mean some have already been eliminated,
<v Speaker 1>but a lot of the women, the key women are
<v Speaker 1>involved right now in the tournament, at least for a
<v Speaker 1>few more weeks. They're not going to go back to
<v Speaker 1>Statlander and Mercedes again. They're not going to Statlander and
<v Speaker 1>Tony Storm. So I'm looking at like, who could you
<v Speaker 1>know potentially be next in line here for Statlander, And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who that person is going to be.
<v Speaker 1>Whoever it is, I think is just going to be
<v Speaker 1>more of a placeholder honestly, until they eventually get to
<v Speaker 1>who that woman is really going to be that is
<v Speaker 1>going to take the championship from her. I think that
<v Speaker 1>woman should be Jamie Hayter when the time is right,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm talking months down the road. Stat Lander has
<v Speaker 1>wins over Tony Storm, actually two wins over Tony Storm,
<v Speaker 1>and she went from back to back wins over Tony
<v Speaker 1>Storm to beating Mercedes, only the second person to do that.
<v Speaker 1>So this woman ought I'll be holding onto that championship
<v Speaker 1>for at least another six months. When the time is right,
<v Speaker 1>I believe the person should be Jamie Hater. But you
<v Speaker 1>have to build to it. You got to build to it.
<v Speaker 1>But if you do that when the time is right,
<v Speaker 1>whether it's double or nothing or all in or Dynasty
<v Speaker 1>or whatever it is, Chris Statlander and Jamie Hayter, that's
<v Speaker 1>a big match to do. And that's someone who I
<v Speaker 1>could see taking the championship away from her. Now, you
<v Speaker 1>could also go Megan Bain. Megan Bain when she was
<v Speaker 1>first called you know, up to called up, called up
<v Speaker 1>from the minor leagues when she first arrived on the
<v Speaker 1>scene in aw almost instantly they altered her into a
<v Speaker 1>women's championship feud with Tony Storm. And that was a
<v Speaker 1>mistake because unless she was going to go in there
<v Speaker 1>and pull up brock Lesner and just destroy Tony and dominate,
<v Speaker 1>that was always going to end with her losing. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you would want to do that
<v Speaker 1>right away. It's like when Mina signed full time and
<v Speaker 1>moved to the States, the first thing they did with
<v Speaker 1>her when she was back on TV was give her
<v Speaker 1>a world championship match. Tony has a tendency to rush
<v Speaker 1>these women into these things. They lose, and then it's like, well,
<v Speaker 1>I hope he has some other great plan for them.
<v Speaker 1>So coming out of this women's tag team title tournament,
<v Speaker 1>assuming that her and Marina Shafir are not going to win,
<v Speaker 1>I think you could absolutely build up Megan Bain as
<v Speaker 1>you know, again more of a dominant singles performer and
<v Speaker 1>have a program with her and Chris stat Lander, and
<v Speaker 1>maybe if you want to, you could put the title
<v Speaker 1>on Megan Baine and then maybe eventually Jamie Hater is
<v Speaker 1>built up to beat Megan Baine for the belt. But
<v Speaker 1>as far as what this next option is going to be,
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't know what he's going to do.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't know, And if you were
<v Speaker 1>watching this show hoping to get an answer to that question,
<v Speaker 1>then you were disappointed. We had a Continental Classic Gold
<v Speaker 1>League match with Darby Allen against the Jet Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>which was the first time ever meeting between the two.
<v Speaker 1>Knight roughed up Darby early on, so he quickly went
<v Speaker 1>outside to create distance. Night though threw him into the
<v Speaker 1>barricade and then launched off of it with a moonsaw
<v Speaker 1>all in one motion. Back inside, Alan cut off a springboard,
<v Speaker 1>sending Night crashing outside, and then following with a running dive.
<v Speaker 1>Darby went for a coffin drop, but Knight sprung to
<v Speaker 1>his feet. He had an avalanche backsuit plex for the
<v Speaker 1>double down. Into the commercial break, Darby attempted the last supper.
<v Speaker 1>We've seen him win matches in the past with that move,
<v Speaker 1>but he did not win here. Knight avoided a death drop.
<v Speaker 1>Each man got ahead of steam. They both collided with
<v Speaker 1>Larriot's turning one another inside out. Darby was sent out
<v Speaker 1>to the ramp. Night tried a springboard, he missed, but
<v Speaker 1>connected on a pendulum DDT. Darby was trying to beat
<v Speaker 1>the count, which gave Knight a chance to clear the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. So you got to picture this now. He
<v Speaker 1>launches himself from inside the ring out over the top
<v Speaker 1>rope onto Darby on the ramp, and it wasn't just
<v Speaker 1>like a crossbody, it was a lariat. He took him
<v Speaker 1>down hard. It was a hard clothesline and he took
<v Speaker 1>Darby down with it on the ramp. Back inside, Knight
<v Speaker 1>missed a UFO splash as Darby flew in with a
<v Speaker 1>code red for a close two. Darby wanted a coffin drop.
<v Speaker 1>He got crotched though into a tree of woe. Knight
<v Speaker 1>sprung to the opposite corner, not even on the opposite
<v Speaker 1>side of the ring, same side of the ring, opposite corner.
<v Speaker 1>So picture what Seth did to Cody when he fucked
<v Speaker 1>up his shoulder at Crown Jewel. And Knight does the
<v Speaker 1>coast to coast, beautiful coast to coast dive from one
<v Speaker 1>corner to the other the drop kick, and after that
<v Speaker 1>the UFO splash followed and Kevin Knight scores a clean
<v Speaker 1>pin in the middle of the ring on Darby Allen,
<v Speaker 1>which shocked me. It shocked me because Darby is coming
<v Speaker 1>off a loss to Pack at full gear, so I
<v Speaker 1>thought they would want to get him back in the
<v Speaker 1>wind column here, So I was not expecting a Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight when I was pleasantly surprised to see that, because
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight is one of those young guys on the
<v Speaker 1>roster that you do hear people talking about that they have,
<v Speaker 1>you know, high hopes for him. There's great potential there.
<v Speaker 1>He's someone who, like a Kyle Fletcher, I think you
<v Speaker 1>can really build up as one of your sort of
<v Speaker 1>aw homegrown talents if you just put the work in
<v Speaker 1>to really help get him there. He's super athletic, he's
<v Speaker 1>super talented. We still really haven't seen him come out
<v Speaker 1>of his shell yet because he's part of a tag team.
<v Speaker 1>There's not a whole lot of singles focus on him.
<v Speaker 1>But he's got all the potential in the world to
<v Speaker 1>be someone special in this company. Giving him wins over
<v Speaker 1>bigger names than him is the easiest, quickest way to
<v Speaker 1>go to help get him over to that next level,
<v Speaker 1>you know, And whatever you think about Darby, if you
<v Speaker 1>think Darby's world champion material or not, they have booked
<v Speaker 1>him in a way that he's going to be a
<v Speaker 1>world champion one day. Darby is one of their top
<v Speaker 1>baby faces. You get a win over one of your
<v Speaker 1>top baby faces, you've done something. So that was a
<v Speaker 1>big win for him. Also, the match itself, I thought
<v Speaker 1>was very good and the biggest win of Kevin Knight's
<v Speaker 1>career so far. I would call it an upset. That's
<v Speaker 1>the second one already in this tournament, Night number one.
<v Speaker 1>We already have two upsets. But using this tournament as
<v Speaker 1>a vehicle to get somebody like a Kevin Knight over
<v Speaker 1>is not a bad idea. They go backstage. Eddie Kingston
<v Speaker 1>said that he didn't want to talk about Hook right now.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't in the mood to address what happened with Hook. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>Then he said that he is not in line for
<v Speaker 1>a title shot against Samoa Joe, but taking out his
<v Speaker 1>boys Shabata on Collision would get him a little bit closer.
<v Speaker 1>So he issues a challenge and the match was very
<v Speaker 1>quickly made official. This was a cop out. I get
<v Speaker 1>they want to save it for a later date, maybe
<v Speaker 1>do a face to face with him and Hook, but
<v Speaker 1>to not even address it or sell any real rage
<v Speaker 1>or anger over what happened. That was a cop out.
<v Speaker 1>And they closed the show with one more Continental Classic match.
<v Speaker 1>Old they had a whole bunch of them here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. Another Continental Classic match, this one from the
<v Speaker 1>Blue League. Claudio Castignoli against Orange Cassidy. We just saw
<v Speaker 1>this match, if you're looking at this going, wait, didn't
<v Speaker 1>we just see this match? Yes, we did a few
<v Speaker 1>weeks ago. Actually it was one of the blooding Guts
<v Speaker 1>advantage matches, and Claudio beat Orange Cassidy earlier this month,
<v Speaker 1>so we got it again here. And we were told
<v Speaker 1>by ex Caliber that Cassidy demanded that Tony Khan move
<v Speaker 1>his match with Claudio up to tonight after what happened
<v Speaker 1>with Kyle O'Reilly at Full Gear. Because everybody in this
<v Speaker 1>league is going to wrestle each other once, so I
<v Speaker 1>guess this match was supposedly scheduled for next week or
<v Speaker 1>the week after, but he wanted it now, so Tony
<v Speaker 1>Kahan gave him the match tonight. So Claudio tried to
<v Speaker 1>rush right at the bell, Cassidy avoided it into a
<v Speaker 1>series of pen attempts. Claudio finally was able to stop
<v Speaker 1>the momentum with a tilta world backbreaker, and then outside
<v Speaker 1>on the floor, Claudio hit a giant swing into the
<v Speaker 1>side of the announced desk into the timekeeper's barricade. Back
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, Claudio continued to rag do all this
<v Speaker 1>man around. Later on, Cassidy sold his back after failing
<v Speaker 1>to pick Claudio up for a beach break. Claudio charged
<v Speaker 1>at him in the corner, but he went shoulder first
<v Speaker 1>into the post. On the floor. Cassidy landed a tornado DDT.
<v Speaker 1>Then he delivered a stun dog millionaire back in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and climbed up to the top rope. Cassidy, though
<v Speaker 1>dove right into a European uppercut, got a close near
<v Speaker 1>fall out of that one. Claudio went for another uppercut.
<v Speaker 1>Cassidy though interrupted it with an orange punch, and then
<v Speaker 1>another and then finally a beach break for a very
<v Speaker 1>close near fall. Both men struggled to their feet. Claudio
<v Speaker 1>landed a huge lariat. Cassidy avoided a power bomb with
<v Speaker 1>a reversal into a pinning attempt. But he got a
<v Speaker 1>two count only. Claudio then landed another pop up uppercut
<v Speaker 1>and he scored the wind. So after the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the Death Riders they come out and
<v Speaker 1>they join in the ring to celebrate Claudio's big win.
<v Speaker 1>Renee gets into the ring and she says Claudio is
<v Speaker 1>the only one to compete in all three Continental Classics.
<v Speaker 1>And as she's talking, wheeler Da gets into it with
<v Speaker 1>Orange Cassidy, who's fighting back. So the Death Riders all
<v Speaker 1>attack Cassidy and a nice little touch here Marina Shaffer.
<v Speaker 1>She makes sure that she gets Renee out of harm's way,
<v Speaker 1>and Renee exits there because of course, missus Moxley, we
<v Speaker 1>got to get her out of harm's way. So Renee
<v Speaker 1>leaves the ring. So Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher, Kenoski, to Keshta,
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight, Speedball masceror Derata they all hit the ring
<v Speaker 1>for this giant heatless brawl. I wrote this in big
<v Speaker 1>word here, heatless brawl until Dorada hit a moon salt
<v Speaker 1>onto a pile of bodies outside outside of the moon
<v Speaker 1>salt spot. This was honestly the quietest that I have
<v Speaker 1>heard any crowd for one of these types of brawls
<v Speaker 1>because there was no reason for it, like guys are
<v Speaker 1>just randomly running. I mean, I get that these were
<v Speaker 1>all the guys that are in Theental Classic, right, but
<v Speaker 1>that's literally the only reason that these men ran out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. Now, why would they even run out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. It was just weird. Fuck is mask
<v Speaker 1>Riderrada running back out there for because he lost to
<v Speaker 1>Moxley earlier? So what so they're all brawling out there,
<v Speaker 1>nobody really seems to give much of a shit. But
<v Speaker 1>then they show Okata who's on the ramp just sort
<v Speaker 1>of watching everything, and that's how they went off the air.
<v Speaker 1>So that's back to back losses. Now for Orange Cassidy
<v Speaker 1>to Claudio, they had a decent match here. Honestly, this
<v Speaker 1>was the weakest out of all of the Continental Classic
<v Speaker 1>matches here on this show, but Moxley winning and Claudio
<v Speaker 1>winning gives them both some momentum when they pull up
<v Speaker 1>next week to Dynamite. And on Dynamite next week, it
<v Speaker 1>was confirmed we are getting John Moxley one on one
<v Speaker 1>with Claudio casting milding death Rider against death Rider and
<v Speaker 1>that is where hopefully something will happen at the end
<v Speaker 1>of this match. Now we know that there won't be
<v Speaker 1>any interference in the match because it's not allowed when
<v Speaker 1>the match is over. And if I had to predict,
<v Speaker 1>you know, who is going to win that match, I
<v Speaker 1>would say Claudio. It could go Moxley and then Claudio
<v Speaker 1>just snaps and they all fucking beat the shit out
<v Speaker 1>of him. I'm gonna go Claudio wins. But there needs
<v Speaker 1>to be an angle here, and it would seem that
<v Speaker 1>at the end of this match, coming out of this
<v Speaker 1>match next week, that that would be the perfect time
<v Speaker 1>to do it. If they're gonna drop Moxley where he stands,
<v Speaker 1>that next week should be the week, and that's what
<v Speaker 1>they close the show with a major angle where John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley is excommunicated from the Death Riders. Maybe they wait
<v Speaker 1>until the end of the tournament. That's also possible, But
<v Speaker 1>this has been building for a while now and it's
<v Speaker 1>just a matter of which week are they going to
<v Speaker 1>pull the trigger? And what is that angle going to
<v Speaker 1>look like? Is it something where Moxley gets up in
<v Speaker 1>their faces and putting his finger in their chest and
<v Speaker 1>pushing their buttons until they finally say fuck this guy?
<v Speaker 1>Is it a shocking thing? That. I mean, we're kind
<v Speaker 1>of expecting it, but like in the moment, nobody's really
<v Speaker 1>expecting it, and then they kind of drop them in
<v Speaker 1>this like shocking moment. I would love for them to
<v Speaker 1>try to find more of a shocking way to do this.
<v Speaker 1>It could be a really major angle, but that is
<v Speaker 1>what that match needs to be in some form. It
<v Speaker 1>has to be leading to you here. It's one of
<v Speaker 1>the reasons why I look at this tournament this year
<v Speaker 1>and it's not just Ta Keshia and Ocondomy, like the
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Claudia angle, Like you're weaving story into this tournament,
<v Speaker 1>but only if it leads to something tangible, only if
<v Speaker 1>it leads to something, you know, impactful, a major angle,
<v Speaker 1>a major turn, a major twist coming out of that
<v Speaker 1>match next week. That's what I'm looking for first time.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually looking forward to Death Riders segment in a
<v Speaker 1>very long time, so that match will be taking place
<v Speaker 1>on next week's show. The way things are standing right
<v Speaker 1>now in the Gold League, three points to Kyle Fletcher
<v Speaker 1>and Kevin Knight, so they're on top right now. In
<v Speaker 1>the Blue League three points to John Moxley and to
<v Speaker 1>Claudio it's still early none of this really matters, and
<v Speaker 1>again we all know who's going to the finals. But
<v Speaker 1>that is your Dynamite review, very simple. You know, with
<v Speaker 1>these several weeks coming up of Dynamite, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>it is going to revolve around this tournament. So if
<v Speaker 1>you're not a Continental Classic fan, it's kind of like
<v Speaker 1>the people who really don't like Forbidden Door, especially in
<v Speaker 1>the early years of Forbidden Door. It's not as much
<v Speaker 1>of an issue these days, but like the first year
<v Speaker 1>they did it, maybe the second one, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>new japan guys on the show and not all of
<v Speaker 1>them available to be on TV to really build up
<v Speaker 1>to the pay per view. It could be rough to
<v Speaker 1>sit through some of those shows if you're really not
<v Speaker 1>into that. You just want to like pick up with
<v Speaker 1>aw stories. I don't give a shit about you know,
<v Speaker 1>this company against that company. There's some people who hate
<v Speaker 1>the bill to Forbidden Door. There's also people who hate
<v Speaker 1>the build to you know, World's End because it's just
<v Speaker 1>so heavily focused on a tournament that maybe they don't
<v Speaker 1>care about. I like the tournament, I like the for
<v Speaker 1>the most part, the makeup of the tournament this year,
<v Speaker 1>and as long as they could weave some story threads
<v Speaker 1>into it to try to make it interesting, like the
<v Speaker 1>death Rider stuff, the callous family stuff. You know, that's
<v Speaker 1>that's really all I hope for. You know, I don't
<v Speaker 1>just want the matches for the sake of the matches.
<v Speaker 1>But you can weave some big angles into it advance
<v Speaker 1>some stories. Then I think you're you're making use of
<v Speaker 1>this tournament in a productive way. We'll see what to
<v Speaker 1>shakes out on Collision tomorrow night. I will not be
<v Speaker 1>watching Collision Tomorrow night. I will be eating a lot
<v Speaker 1>of food at someone else's house that they will they
<v Speaker 1>will make. My job is to show up and eat.
<v Speaker 1>That's my only job. Tomorrow I will not be watching Collision.
<v Speaker 1>I'll catch up with anything important that happens after the fact.
<v Speaker 1>There will be no SmackDown review on Friday, but I
<v Speaker 1>will be live with you. The next time will be
<v Speaker 1>for the Survivor series just coming up. Ye know, the
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series used to be the Thanksgiving Eve tradition. There
<v Speaker 1>was a time where today we'd be watching Survivor series.
<v Speaker 1>That hasn't been the case in a very long time.
<v Speaker 1>But I will be live here on the channel Saturday
<v Speaker 1>night after a Survivor series war games. So make sure
<v Speaker 1>you join me here for that should be a good
<v Speaker 1>time on the stream at least if nothing else. We
<v Speaker 1>always have fun on the streams, even if the actual
<v Speaker 1>events are not always fun. What did you think of
<v Speaker 1>the Thanksgiving Eve episode of Dynamite forty eight point eight
<v Speaker 1>percent thumbs up, fifty one zero point two percent thumbs down.
<v Speaker 1>That was quite the swing. So when I checked before
<v Speaker 1>I went live, it was sixty four up. So now
<v Speaker 1>we're down to forty eight. How low will it go?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, but it's below the equator line right now.
<v Speaker 1>At Solo Monster is where you can go vote Solo
<v Speaker 1>Monster from a dried chicken. Solo Monster. If anyone from
<v Speaker 1>your friends or family cooking deep fried turkey, tell them
<v Speaker 1>do not add too much cooking oil on the pot.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to give anybody any cooking advice. I'm
<v Speaker 1>the last person who should be giving any kind of
<v Speaker 1>cooking or culinary advice. I trust that they know what
<v Speaker 1>they're doing. You know, it would be like being in
<v Speaker 1>the back of an Uber and telling the driver, no,
<v Speaker 1>you should go this way. I would think that if
<v Speaker 1>you're an Uber driver, you would be pretty pissed off
<v Speaker 1>at the other person telling you how to drive into
<v Speaker 1>your job. So I'm just gonna let them do their thing.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says, looking back on so much bloodshed that
<v Speaker 1>happened to Full Gear, Dracula would take a sponge, wipe
<v Speaker 1>down every single wrestler who bled, squeeze the sponge and
<v Speaker 1>drink it out of a wine glass. You could do that.
<v Speaker 1>Buckets of blood were spilled over the last two weeks
<v Speaker 1>in this company. Thanksgiving is tomorrow and Black Friday is
<v Speaker 1>in two days. The blood and Guts winning teams are
<v Speaker 1>having Thanksgiving dinner together. Losing teams have to help Solo
<v Speaker 1>Monster shopping on Friday. Solo Manster is not doing any
<v Speaker 1>shopping on Friday. You forgot to mention Cyber Monday. By
<v Speaker 1>the way, the deals continue into the beginning of next week.
<v Speaker 1>Can you imagine Okada and Takesha sharing the Thanksgiving dinner
<v Speaker 1>table with the entire don Kallis family and they volunteer
<v Speaker 1>to cut the turkey. Well, there's a skid idea that
<v Speaker 1>they should have gone with. They didn't do it. Oz glorious,
<v Speaker 1>Happy c two season to all who celebrate. I know
<v Speaker 1>he's a big Continental Classic guy is oz glorious? Is
<v Speaker 1>it true that some grifter said human vomit logan Paul
<v Speaker 1>is better than Takeshta and everyone in aw there was
<v Speaker 1>someone who said that, Yes, and I think that they
<v Speaker 1>were looking to get a reaction, and they got the
<v Speaker 1>reaction they were looking for. Moore says Andrade confirmed he's
<v Speaker 1>facing a year non compete. Yeah, well, we kind of
<v Speaker 1>already knew that, and I didn't see the rest of
<v Speaker 1>his quote. But if he's smart, he's working with an
<v Speaker 1>attorney and that'll be taken care of very soon, because
<v Speaker 1>there's no way that Androti is going to be sitting
<v Speaker 1>at home for a year. I guarantee you he will
<v Speaker 1>not be sitting on the sidelines for anywhere close to
<v Speaker 1>a year. And if he doesn't retain a lawyer to
<v Speaker 1>get this taken care of soon, then he's not too bright.
<v Speaker 1>A fox with a fox emoji with a four ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>Hey Fox, thank you man, Happy Thanksgiving Arabian night. Do
<v Speaker 1>you see or listen to the Androte interview today? I
<v Speaker 1>did not. I only saw a brief quote. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what else he said in the interview. I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea. I will have to take a look at
<v Speaker 1>it later it's anything worth covering. Then I will mention
<v Speaker 1>it on the sound of the Admiral David Robinson. Oh man,
<v Speaker 1>I remember watching him play. I remember watching Carl Malone play. Also,
<v Speaker 1>it's too bad he turned into such a piece of shit.
<v Speaker 1>Buy sell or rent. What is the best game winner
<v Speaker 1>in sports? Walk off home run? We just had this
<v Speaker 1>the other day. Walk off home run, buzzer beater, three pointer,
<v Speaker 1>or game winning touchdown. I just had this question on Monday.
<v Speaker 1>It's the walk off home run. Nothing better than a
<v Speaker 1>walk off home run. You know how hard it is
<v Speaker 1>to hit a home run? You know how difficult that is?
<v Speaker 1>The big fundamental, Tim, we go from David Robinson to
<v Speaker 1>Tim Duncan. We got some San Antonio fans here, huh.
<v Speaker 1>Set Life Stadium is so ugly. It looks like an
<v Speaker 1>old ac unit from the nineteen seventies. I hate it
<v Speaker 1>so much, and I believe that the Jets and Giants
<v Speaker 1>are cursed because their stadium is a dumpster fire Man,
<v Speaker 1>I hate MetLife. Well tell me how you really feel.
<v Speaker 1>Oh look, I've been to MetLife Stadium twice for two
<v Speaker 1>WrestleManias twenty nine and thirty five, and from what I remember,
<v Speaker 1>it was not. It was not a nice stadium. And
<v Speaker 1>I've heard other people who do go to Giants games
<v Speaker 1>or Jets games who complain a lot about the stadium.
<v Speaker 1>It's just it's just kind of a dump, which is
<v Speaker 1>too bad. I think it's silly that the Giants and
<v Speaker 1>the Jets still have to share a stadium together. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's ridiculous enough. Duffs VIDs on Thanksgiving E for
<v Speaker 1>the nineteen ninety nine home from the hospital. Most tests
<v Speaker 1>came back good or normal. Glad to be home. I'm
<v Speaker 1>glad that everything came back normal. Miss Dynamite. Transplant is
<v Speaker 1>on the table. One biopsy needs to be done for
<v Speaker 1>the liver to see if double transplant is needed. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you for the prayers everyone, Well, we are all thinking
<v Speaker 1>about you and sending you all the positive vibes and
<v Speaker 1>energy that we can. You're a part of our family
<v Speaker 1>here and only good things from here on out, or
<v Speaker 1>as good as they can be. And a very happy
<v Speaker 1>Thanksgiving to you and yours. Yeah, and it's in New Jersey.
<v Speaker 1>The New York Jets and the New York Giants don't
<v Speaker 1>even play in New York Like how ridiculous, is that
<v Speaker 1>oz and glorious? Thank you for the two bucks. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we got some people hanging over the top rope tonight
<v Speaker 1>hit that like Button Casper the try Hard with a
<v Speaker 1>nine to ninety nine something something, Batman something something. Oh Man,
<v Speaker 1>you come on, you love Batman, Come on, Casper, Casper
<v Speaker 1>the try Hard. Happy Thanksgiving Brother, Washington Commanders Stadium. I've
<v Speaker 1>not been I've not been to the Washington Commander Stadium,
<v Speaker 1>so I can't speak to that, a very said Woodworm.
<v Speaker 1>Hey solo, first time chatter, longtime viewer since twenty sixteen.
<v Speaker 1>Love your work. Can you tell me your three favorite
<v Speaker 1>Sena matches? Well, John Cena and Cmpunk Money in the
<v Speaker 1>Bank twenty eleven. I just think it's the perfect match.
<v Speaker 1>Just there's like a magical feeling with just that atmosphere
<v Speaker 1>in Chicago, the store behind it, with punk Is contract
<v Speaker 1>being up. It was just perfect. Five stars all the way.
<v Speaker 1>I would go Sena in AJ styles. I'm partial to
<v Speaker 1>their Summer Slam match in twenty sixteen where AJ just
<v Speaker 1>beat them clean. I was there, great match, but then
<v Speaker 1>they have that match at the Rumble in twenty seventeen
<v Speaker 1>at the Alamodome, which never left the ring. They never
<v Speaker 1>left the ring that entire match, no plunder, no spots
<v Speaker 1>on the announced desk. They just had a wrestling match
<v Speaker 1>and it was great. And that's when Sena won Number
<v Speaker 1>sixteen and tied Rick Flair. So I kind of go
<v Speaker 1>back and forth between those two, but I'm inclined to say,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just say, Sina AJ how about that. We'll keep
<v Speaker 1>it nebulous. So that's two. I gotta pick a third one, huh.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I might have to go with the
<v Speaker 1>Sina Lesnar Extreme Rules match in twenty twelve. That was
<v Speaker 1>a spectacle, that's what that was. I think those would
<v Speaker 1>be my three. The Ufman, I like your new logo.
<v Speaker 1>Just rewatched Mina making her entrance from tonight. One word damn,
<v Speaker 1>I said she was busting out of that top. Two
<v Speaker 1>words damn, damn. Three words. Yeah, you can keep going
<v Speaker 1>all night. You can keep going all night, Arabian night.
<v Speaker 1>Could they use Renee in the turn on mocks to
<v Speaker 1>get heat. I don't think they want to do that.
<v Speaker 1>I think they want Renee to be the straight lace
<v Speaker 1>reporter interviewer. They could, I don't think they will, Hoffman
<v Speaker 1>says Batman Returns is a Christmas movie, you know what.
<v Speaker 1>I think you could definitely make a case for it.
<v Speaker 1>There's this really stupid thing going on right now, and honestly,
<v Speaker 1>my two cents, I think this is just people who
<v Speaker 1>don't like the fact that every year we have the
<v Speaker 1>debate about whether or not die Hard is a Christmas movie,
<v Speaker 1>which it is, and so they've manufactured this nonsensical argument
<v Speaker 1>just to kind of fuck with those people, that the
<v Speaker 1>thing is a Christmas movie. Apparently this is no pun intended.
<v Speaker 1>This is the thing this year where they say the
<v Speaker 1>thing from nineteen eighty two, the John Carpenter movie is
<v Speaker 1>a Christmas movie. And I didn't read the whole article
<v Speaker 1>that I saw about it, but apparently it has to
<v Speaker 1>do with the fact that it's in the winter in
<v Speaker 1>the snut like. It's really dumb shit, Like, no, the
<v Speaker 1>thing is not a Christmas movie, but Diehard is a
<v Speaker 1>Christmas move will never convince me otherwise, Mystic Jay, I
<v Speaker 1>just realized that this might be the last year where
<v Speaker 1>WWE's Big Four will be all on one night. No, no,
<v Speaker 1>I mean the Rumble next year is one night, so
<v Speaker 1>we know that Survivor series is not I don't see.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see Survivor series as a strong enough show
<v Speaker 1>right now to go two nights. I think there's a
<v Speaker 1>better chance Money in the Bank goes two nights before
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series does. But like the next event to go
<v Speaker 1>two nights will be the Rumble, whatever year it is,
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty seven, maybe if there's another pl that goes
<v Speaker 1>two nights, it will be the Royal Rumble. From there,
<v Speaker 1>if they continue that trend, you're looking potentially at elimination Chamber.
<v Speaker 1>You're looking at Money in the Bank. I think before
<v Speaker 1>we ever get a two night Survivor series, Isaac buy
<v Speaker 1>sell or rent Survivor series ninety six, two and twenty eleven.
<v Speaker 1>I am going those are all Madison Square Garden Survivor series.
<v Speaker 1>I just realized, Yeah, I'm buying on ninety six, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna rent on O two, and I'm gonna sell on
<v Speaker 1>twenty eleven, even though that was the one that I
<v Speaker 1>was actually at. Jeremy Rose buy sell, rent Noodle Pudding,
<v Speaker 1>pumpkin pie or Pea cam Pie. I gotta buy on
<v Speaker 1>noodle Pudding. I'm gonna have some of that tomorrow. I
<v Speaker 1>can't wait. I'm going to rent on pea campie and
<v Speaker 1>sell on pumpkin pie. I actually was looking for a
<v Speaker 1>pumpkin pie. I'm sorry, not a pumpkin pie. I was
<v Speaker 1>looking for a pea campie to buy for Friday because
<v Speaker 1>I have to go to another Thanksgiving thing on Friday night.
<v Speaker 1>Couldn't find a pea campie, but they had pumpkin pea campie,
<v Speaker 1>and if you could believe it, I have never had never,
<v Speaker 1>I've never had pumpkin pie. So this is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>my first time trying a pie that has even a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of pumpkin in it. Believe it or not,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have some pumpkin pea campi on Friday night.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very interested. I don't even know why I've never
<v Speaker 1>tried it before. All things pumpkin never really appealed to
<v Speaker 1>As much as I love Halloween, all things pumpkin just
<v Speaker 1>never never really appealed to me. So that'll be my
<v Speaker 1>first time trying that. Jeremy also says we really only
<v Speaker 1>getting four matches at Survivor series. What the fuck are
<v Speaker 1>we doing? I'll tell you where you're what you're doing.
<v Speaker 1>You're you're gonna be getting multiple ad breaks. You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>be getting super long entrances, and that's how they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>fill up over three hours. You're not gonna have time
<v Speaker 1>for any other matches. Pumpkin Pie needs to be heated
<v Speaker 1>up with ice cream ball. Then I'm definitely not having
<v Speaker 1>any Thanks. You just ruined it for me. Jeremy says,
<v Speaker 1>did you see Russo on Helwani? Not a fan of his,
<v Speaker 1>but his opinion about how to make wrestling shows entertaining
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. I actually did watch it. I tried to
<v Speaker 1>tolerate it. He was on there for like an hour,
<v Speaker 1>and he was Russo. He was Russo being Russo. He
<v Speaker 1>has his philosophy on things, and there you go. I'm
<v Speaker 1>guessing Joe getting another title run means we won't see
<v Speaker 1>him in WWE again anytime soon or ever again. Probably not,
<v Speaker 1>and that's fine. That's WWE lost. They're the ones who
<v Speaker 1>fired him twice, so fuck them. If somebody fired me twice,
<v Speaker 1>I would not be in any great rush to go
<v Speaker 1>crawling back there. My attitude, and I'm not saying Joe's
<v Speaker 1>ah pro I don't think this is Joe's attitude, but
<v Speaker 1>my attitude would be go fuck yourself. You don't want me, Okay, cool.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take my services somewhere else, and I'll give them
<v Speaker 1>before I give you. WWE doesn't deserve Samoa Joe Lo King,
<v Speaker 1>what's your hot take for nineteen ninety nine WWF? My
<v Speaker 1>hot take for nineteen ninety nine WWF is that it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't as good as some people like to remember it being.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take ninety eight over ninety nine. OZ Glorio is
<v Speaker 1>fifty four months channel membership, fifty four months. Where's the
<v Speaker 1>platinum skull? I don't know what skulled? What skull do
<v Speaker 1>you have for fifty four months? Whatever skull it is,
<v Speaker 1>you should have it. Roho Bear with forty five months,
<v Speaker 1>You got some catching up to do to catch up
<v Speaker 1>to OZ and Glorious. Happy Thanksgiving, Roho Bear and Tuxedo
<v Speaker 1>t Servo has fifty one months of membership. Happy Thanksgiving
<v Speaker 1>to all here who celebrate. Same to you, Same to everyone.
<v Speaker 1>Austin Tucker, Hey Solo, I'm going to my first aw
<v Speaker 1>show next Wednesday. Can't wait. I hope to see Adam
<v Speaker 1>Page and Jamie Hayter. I don't know if you're going
<v Speaker 1>to Jamie Hayter, but you probably will see Hangman. Probably
<v Speaker 1>not wrestling, but he should be there. KD seventeen Burger. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I these fucking names. Apparently it's like this on everyone's channel.
<v Speaker 1>Now they just went right back to this at bullshit
<v Speaker 1>where everyone's name is gone and now it's just your handle,
<v Speaker 1>it says, YouTube being YouTube. I actually reached out to
<v Speaker 1>YouTube a few months ago when this happened the first time,
<v Speaker 1>and I said, how come because some channels still have
<v Speaker 1>the regular names, Like how come they have names and
<v Speaker 1>I don't? And they said, oh, it's a new change
<v Speaker 1>that we're rolling out. I said, well, can we opt
<v Speaker 1>out of it? Nope, It's being rolled out across all
<v Speaker 1>of YouTube and there's nothing anybody can do about it.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks YouTube, Katie says, nice shout out to the great
<v Speaker 1>Tina Turner. You saw weapons. I saw it in the
<v Speaker 1>theaters and hated it. But Amy Matting as the looney
<v Speaker 1>Aunt stole the film and deserves an Oscar nomination. Your thoughts.
<v Speaker 1>She was very creepy in that movie. She was very creepy.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about nominations. I don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>competition is this year, but she was very creepy. I
<v Speaker 1>like Josh Brolin in that movie too, says Still on
<v Speaker 1>the Blue Skull Noodle Pie tomorrow. Yes, yes, I've already
<v Speaker 1>said if it's not being served, I'm not showing up.
<v Speaker 1>My attendance is contingent upon that being prepared for tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy says, what's the low We're going to get three
<v Speaker 1>match card, two match card, one match Seriously, Jos, what
<v Speaker 1>can they really give us? They can do anything they
<v Speaker 1>want to and people will eat up their slop no
<v Speaker 1>matter what they do. I always thought that was gonna
<v Speaker 1>be Vince McMahon's ultimate play was to eventually get rid
<v Speaker 1>of the ring altogether and just have like a giant
<v Speaker 1>variety show for two hours of just skits and comedy.
<v Speaker 1>That's good shit, pal, and just get get rid of
<v Speaker 1>the wrestling matches altogether. I'm surprised he never did it.
<v Speaker 1>Duff's VIDs. Do you think Triple H is doing four
<v Speaker 1>match cards on one night plees to make fans want
<v Speaker 1>two nights for most, if not all Ples eventually and
<v Speaker 1>the money? No, I really don't. I don't think that's
<v Speaker 1>factoring into his decision to do this. I think it
<v Speaker 1>really does just have more to do with They're gonna
<v Speaker 1>give a lot of time to the war games matches
<v Speaker 1>at least forty minutes for each one, and they are
<v Speaker 1>going to fill in the time in between the matches
<v Speaker 1>with WrestleMania advertisements because the tickets are going on sale.
<v Speaker 1>I think, is it Friday? I think tickets might be
<v Speaker 1>going on sale Friday, and so whatever their advertisements are
<v Speaker 1>going to be. And then the long elaborate entrances. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>do like the entrances for men's war games alone, is
<v Speaker 1>that's twenty minutes right there? Probably be about the same
<v Speaker 1>for the women. Then you have the actual match. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if they don't have any good ideas for anything else
<v Speaker 1>on the show, I'm not saying that should just throw
<v Speaker 1>matches on there for the sake of doing them. But
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why we can't get that happy medium
<v Speaker 1>between WWE and AW. Like WWE they give you too
<v Speaker 1>few matches, and then AW gives you too many matches.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, why is this so hard? Six matches? Boom?
<v Speaker 1>There you go, perfect. It's gotta be a happy medium here.
<v Speaker 1>But I will admit to you one thing. I would
<v Speaker 1>rather have these five match wwepls than these ten or
<v Speaker 1>twelve or thirteen match AW pay perviews, which I think
<v Speaker 1>I think it's just fucking ridiculous. I'll take I'll take
<v Speaker 1>some of the five match cards. Honestly, especially as a
<v Speaker 1>content creator, it's just a lot easier for me to navigate.
<v Speaker 1>You may feel differently if you're paying forty dollars for
<v Speaker 1>the AW pay perview, But I cannot stand the length
<v Speaker 1>of those shows like it is a huge, huge turnoff
<v Speaker 1>for me. Absolutely cannot stand the length of those shows.
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania and Summer Slam should have eight on each night.
<v Speaker 1>I disagree. That's too many. You don't need you don't
<v Speaker 1>need sixteen matches. Why are we overloading these shows with matches?
<v Speaker 1>I don't understand. You can have you can have six
<v Speaker 1>matches on each night of WrestleMania maybe it's WrestleMania, maybe seven.
<v Speaker 1>You don't need more than that Summer Slim. You don't
<v Speaker 1>need more than that six or seven matches max per night.
<v Speaker 1>That's that's that's fine, that's fine. You really don't need
<v Speaker 1>more than that, even if AW pay per views blow
<v Speaker 1>the WWE ones away on most nights. But it's too long. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we can get into a debate about the
<v Speaker 1>the quality of the shows AW. You know, consistently they
<v Speaker 1>know how to put on great pay per views, but
<v Speaker 1>it like, I'm trying to put myself in the head
<v Speaker 1>of like Hangman and Joe as they're getting ready to
<v Speaker 1>go out to the ring at the end of that
<v Speaker 1>show on Saturday, and I'm like, why would you want
<v Speaker 1>to be in that position? Mercedes and Statlander, you know,
<v Speaker 1>their match was absolutely hindered by the fact that people
<v Speaker 1>were just fucking exhausted by that point. It just it
<v Speaker 1>drains you. Nobody can keep that energy for five straight
<v Speaker 1>hours like that. It's not possible. It can't do it.
<v Speaker 1>That's why you end up with matches near the end
<v Speaker 1>that are just they feel fucking dead. Oz says, if
<v Speaker 1>there were only six matches, how would you fill up
<v Speaker 1>four hour on Tuesday? And oh, we have plenty of time.
<v Speaker 1>We talk about news and everything. Yeah, and the watch
<v Speaker 1>time we set a watchtime record this week. More people
<v Speaker 1>watch us than they do some of the actual wrestling
<v Speaker 1>shows talk about a lot more than just fucking matches.
<v Speaker 1>That's fucking boring. I want to talk about some controversy,
<v Speaker 1>I want to talk about some behind the scenes shit.
<v Speaker 1>That's what makes it fun. That's why I started first
<v Speaker 1>following wrestling news back in the late nineties, in the
<v Speaker 1>early two thousands, I was fascinated by the backstage happenings
<v Speaker 1>and the goings on and the contract news and who's
<v Speaker 1>jumping here and who's going there. That's more entertaining than
<v Speaker 1>what we see on the actual television shows. Are you
<v Speaker 1>kidding me? Lucky Dog says, I do wish Tony started
<v Speaker 1>the pay per views earlier. No more five pm start times,
<v Speaker 1>make it three pm. He's not gonna do three pm
<v Speaker 1>for every show, but like, yeah, even starting it at
<v Speaker 1>seven instead of eight, it's still too much, but I
<v Speaker 1>mean it would make it a little bit better, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Now Again on the West Coast, you don't have that issue.
<v Speaker 1>On the East Coast, though, it's a killer, it's an
<v Speaker 1>absolute killer. Yeah, he's going to have to have some
<v Speaker 1>earlier start time. I mean, the shows are always going
<v Speaker 1>to be long. That's not going to change, so the
<v Speaker 1>start times need to change. He has said that the
<v Speaker 1>earlier start times actually didn't hurt them at all. If anything,
<v Speaker 1>it might have helped them. So I'd like to see
<v Speaker 1>them do that more often. It says, that's why I
<v Speaker 1>listened to you instead of watching WWA. There's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people. There's a lot of people like you out
<v Speaker 1>there who listen to and watch the podcast and don't
<v Speaker 1>actually watch the product. Because look, when you're a wrestling fan,
<v Speaker 1>yeah you're always a wrestling fan. Like, even if you
<v Speaker 1>kind of grow out of it, you get bored with it,
<v Speaker 1>you still want to keep up with what's going on.
<v Speaker 1>So maybe you'll check clips in their YouTube channels and
<v Speaker 1>highlights of stuff. But what do a lot of those
<v Speaker 1>people do, right, They listen to podcasts and they watch,
<v Speaker 1>you know, YouTube streams, and they keep up with what's
<v Speaker 1>going on. It's like, yeah, no different than people who
<v Speaker 1>like sports talk radio. Yeah, they watch the games, but
<v Speaker 1>you know they love listening to all the blowhards on
<v Speaker 1>fucking sports radio. Who are yeah talking about it the
<v Speaker 1>next day, questioning all the decisions that were made in
<v Speaker 1>the games over the weekend. How come they did this?
<v Speaker 1>How come the coach didn't do that. Let's go to
<v Speaker 1>Sandy from day Ridge. You're on the air, right, people
<v Speaker 1>love sports talk radio. Those guys get paid millions of dollars.
<v Speaker 1>Why do you think they're just certain people that they
<v Speaker 1>enjoy their perspective on things and they enjoy commiserating with
<v Speaker 1>other people who also feel the same way that they
<v Speaker 1>feel get a lot of the same thing with wrestling
<v Speaker 1>and wrestling content creators. Who's watching football tomorrow, Not this guy,
<v Speaker 1>but there'll be a lot of people who are watching
<v Speaker 1>football tomorrow. I don't even know who's playing tomorrow. Who's
<v Speaker 1>playing tomorrow. I don't even know what the game is tomorrow, Ricky,
<v Speaker 1>I love you too. He listens to the sound off
<v Speaker 1>every Sunday afternoon. Thank you, Ricky. That's why you've kept
<v Speaker 1>the show going for eighteen years, almost two decades. That's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>We had a great podcast this past weekend. We'll have
<v Speaker 1>another one this weekend, talk Survivor series fallout, and we'll
<v Speaker 1>talk a little bit of aw if there's any news
<v Speaker 1>on that front. I gotta go check out this Andrade stuff.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna get back to your questions. Ste you could
<v Speaker 1>email me. We'll be doing a mailbag this weekend. That
<v Speaker 1>will be episode nine. So I'm gonna wrap this up here.
<v Speaker 1>This has been fun hanging out with you guys here
<v Speaker 1>on Thanksgiving Eve, and I hope you guys, wherever you
<v Speaker 1>may be, if you are celebrating and feasting tomorrow night,
<v Speaker 1>not fisting. I said feasting. I hope you have a
<v Speaker 1>very happy Thanksgiving. I'm very thankful for all of you
<v Speaker 1>being here with me every single week. Whether or not
<v Speaker 1>you're watching the actual television shows, it doesn't matter. You
<v Speaker 1>don't even have to. I watch so you don't have to.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm grateful for all of your support, all of
<v Speaker 1>your superchats, just hanging out in the chat, chatting away
<v Speaker 1>with everybody else. And I will see you back here
<v Speaker 1>again live on Saturday night. We'll be talking Survivor series
<v Speaker 1>war games, and then on Sunday, Episode nine of the
<v Speaker 1>podcast coming up this weekend, dups VIDs is gonna get
<v Speaker 1>the last word here on a poll bro nine to
<v Speaker 1>ninety nine Superchat was beginning to watch the ninety six
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series and I saw Marty Janetti was limping. Do
<v Speaker 1>you know if he was just working or did he
<v Speaker 1>legit get hurt and what was the injury? I believe
<v Speaker 1>he now that was a legit injury. I believe he
<v Speaker 1>rolled his ankle. Was I believe a legitimate ankle injury. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And unfortunately these days I don't know which foot or
<v Speaker 1>which ankle it is, but he's had some severe ankle
<v Speaker 1>issues in recent years where he's posted pictures of it.
<v Speaker 1>It's nasty, it's really disgusting. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's
<v Speaker 1>what I think. He legitimately rolled it and that's what
<v Speaker 1>it was. Anyway, I'll go I'm gonna go check out
<v Speaker 1>some Vault stuff myself. That'll be what I watch as
<v Speaker 1>I as I fall asleep tonight, I'll pop on over
<v Speaker 1>to the Vault YouTube channel and check out some classic
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series shit from the early nineties. And I will
<v Speaker 1>see you back here on Saturday night for the Survivor series.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, Happy Thanksgiving guys,
