Needs To Know: There's Hope

Jul 11, 2012, 05:46 PM

This podcast is a continuation of the "The Is Hope" service project for FHL Week 2012. Merlin talks with Paula and Ed, both volunteers with the storehouse at Grace Assembly of God who are helping with the delivery of durable goods to a homeless ministry, Living Waters in Southport. Part of FHL's mission is to see that durable goods are delivered to those in need. Angie White is the first recipient of the "There Is Hope" project. Angie’s situation of need represents the needs of many in the Central Indiana area for support and outreach. These situations are representative of a combination of job loss, disability, provider loss, loss of family member, and property damage from the elements. All together these issues represent why backyard missions are so vitally needed.
