<v Speaker 1>After a not so epic Survivor series This past Saturday,
<v Speaker 1>Triple H after the show was addressing the upcoming episode
<v Speaker 1>of Monday Night Raw, and he promised an epic show
<v Speaker 1>was coming with the fallout of Survivor series. This was
<v Speaker 1>not an epic show. I don't know why he does
<v Speaker 1>these things. I don't know why they get people's hopes
<v Speaker 1>up by using those kinds of words and using that
<v Speaker 1>kind of language. I know he's a promoter and he's
<v Speaker 1>trying to promote, but like, if you don't have some
<v Speaker 1>sort of big reveal planned for the show of some kind,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you would put yourself in that position.
<v Speaker 1>It was still a good show. It might not have
<v Speaker 1>been epic, but it was I thought a good show.
<v Speaker 1>Although there was no Roman Reigns, there was no CM Punk.
<v Speaker 1>He is not medically cleared, so we didn't see them
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. One reveal that we did not
<v Speaker 1>get was the reveal of the mystery man who ran
<v Speaker 1>into the men's Wargames match at Survivor Series No. Austin
<v Speaker 1>Theory on tonight's show. Although Logan Paul is confirmed as
<v Speaker 1>a official member of the Vision and here I thought
<v Speaker 1>that this was just going to be a War Games thing.
<v Speaker 1>He was going to be in. He was going to
<v Speaker 1>be out because he has hardly been any sort of
<v Speaker 1>full time performer here on TV. But he is apparently
<v Speaker 1>now an official member of the Vision, so we did
<v Speaker 1>find that out tonight. We also learned I guess you
<v Speaker 1>could say he's a full blown oose. But we also
<v Speaker 1>learned that bron Breaker, who was the man who pinned
<v Speaker 1>the world Heavyweight champion at the end of Wargames, is
<v Speaker 1>going to get his championship match against Cmpunk on the
<v Speaker 1>first Raw of the new year, right here in Brooklyn,
<v Speaker 1>coming up on January fifth. Bron Breaker gets his shot
<v Speaker 1>at the world title on that show. And I'll tell
<v Speaker 1>you what you know. We didn't find out who the
<v Speaker 1>mystery man was who attack punkin War Games. They have
<v Speaker 1>chosen to drag this out a little bit. They're gonna
<v Speaker 1>milk it. They're gonna milk the mystery. So we have
<v Speaker 1>two mystery angles basically going on at the same time
<v Speaker 1>on Raw and SmackDown. Because I haven't forgotten that somebody
<v Speaker 1>attacked Jacob fa too. We still don't know who that
<v Speaker 1>person is. We'll find out who attacked him soon enough,
<v Speaker 1>unless they just forget about the whole thing. But they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna milk this for all it's worth, and it makes
<v Speaker 1>me wonder if maybe the reveal doesn't come for another month.
<v Speaker 1>You know, maybe they're gonna save the reveal for that
<v Speaker 1>big title match in Brooklyn on January fifth. Maybe the
<v Speaker 1>mystery Man is going to help bron Break or win
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship on that show. And if they
<v Speaker 1>save it for that, you know what, that would certainly
<v Speaker 1>be more impactful than just having this person pull the
<v Speaker 1>mask off and reveal their identity on a random episode
<v Speaker 1>of Raw. So if they have some kind of big
<v Speaker 1>reveal plan, then that's fine. But that's what has me
<v Speaker 1>thinking we may have to wait another month or so
<v Speaker 1>before we get an answer to that question. But speaking
<v Speaker 1>of bron Breaker, I'm gonna get into that whole segment
<v Speaker 1>with the vision a little bit later on. But bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker had a coming out moment on the show tonight
<v Speaker 1>because we got to hear from bron Breaker in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>just addressing the audience, addressing the hardcam, talking to us,
<v Speaker 1>getting all fired up about this match with Cmpunk. He
<v Speaker 1>cut the promo of his life in the Ring tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and it got me hyped up to see this match
<v Speaker 1>in a way that I wasn't before. And it just
<v Speaker 1>illustrates again he is somebody who, whether or not you
<v Speaker 1>think he's going to end up being the face of
<v Speaker 1>WWE and the guy who really runs the place. Clearly
<v Speaker 1>they have him tad for big things. We've known this
<v Speaker 1>for a while now. We've known this since the early
<v Speaker 1>days of NXT two point zero. Right, he was the
<v Speaker 1>hand picked one. He was the chosen one. Right. He's
<v Speaker 1>a Steiner, It's in his blood. But I do think
<v Speaker 1>that the more we get to hear from him in
<v Speaker 1>these types of segments situations, the more that we will
<v Speaker 1>see him as somebody who I think could be not
<v Speaker 1>just the champion, but could be somebody who leads a
<v Speaker 1>brand on his own, you know, as we look ahead
<v Speaker 1>in the years to come. This is the sort of
<v Speaker 1>promo that I was hoping to see. After he beat
<v Speaker 1>the hell out of Seth Rollins and walked up to
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reed and said, you're either with me or you're
<v Speaker 1>against me. And he walked up to Paul Hayman and
<v Speaker 1>he said, you're either with me or you're against me.
<v Speaker 1>And this is where I thought it was going to go,
<v Speaker 1>where Bron would take more of a leadership role, he
<v Speaker 1>would take more of an alpha male type of role
<v Speaker 1>in the vision, and they didn't do that. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he just became I mean, he didn't become anything. He
<v Speaker 1>was just the same bron Breaker he was before, and
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman was leading the charge, so he was being
<v Speaker 1>more assertive here. He was just showing a side of
<v Speaker 1>himself that I would like to see more of that
<v Speaker 1>guy right there that we saw in the ring tonight.
<v Speaker 1>That could be your world heavyweight champion. That's the guy
<v Speaker 1>that I could buy into as being the top champion
<v Speaker 1>here on this show. So I thought for him, it
<v Speaker 1>was a great night, and I'm hoping, hoping that they
<v Speaker 1>make the right decision when it comes time to choose
<v Speaker 1>whether or not they are ready to put that championship
<v Speaker 1>on him or not. I'm not even saying it's going
<v Speaker 1>to happen on January fifth, but that's when the ball
<v Speaker 1>is rolling down the hill. I don't know that that's
<v Speaker 1>going to be the only match between those two. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying there will be a title change or there
<v Speaker 1>has to be a title change on that particular show,
<v Speaker 1>although I would love to see it, but that you
<v Speaker 1>talk about a vision, the vision that I have from
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw I'm moving into twenty twenty six, that
<v Speaker 1>guy right there should be front and center. We talk
<v Speaker 1>a lot about how the main events scene in WWE
<v Speaker 1>is populated by a lot of older guys, guys that
<v Speaker 1>have been around for many years, and they've been in
<v Speaker 1>this position before, and it just it gets tiring after
<v Speaker 1>a while. Right, They're all big names, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhades,
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk. Right, they're all big names, so of course
<v Speaker 1>you want them in the mix. But at some point
<v Speaker 1>you also have to pull the trigger and say, okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's time that we really put our muscle behind one
<v Speaker 1>of these younger guys, one of these newer guys, so
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't just feel like we're seeing the same faces
<v Speaker 1>over and over again. You know, bron Breaker is part
<v Speaker 1>of that vision, no pun intended. But we also know
<v Speaker 1>who is going to be wrestling in the finals of
<v Speaker 1>the John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament. This tournament
<v Speaker 1>has been very half assed from the very beginning, and
<v Speaker 1>one of the few beacons of light in this entire
<v Speaker 1>tournament has been Gunther. This man we didn't see him
<v Speaker 1>since SummerSlam. He came back in this tournament and he
<v Speaker 1>wrestled Javon Evans in Madison Square Garden and they had
<v Speaker 1>my favorite match of the entire tournament, had a very
<v Speaker 1>good match. And Gunther went in there last week against
<v Speaker 1>Carmelo Hayes and they had a very good match. And
<v Speaker 1>then we saw Pentaget hurt and the whole of seeing
<v Speaker 1>Gunther and Penta in the semi finals went up in smoke.
<v Speaker 1>Although depending on who you believe, that match was never
<v Speaker 1>planned to begin with, but regardless, we ended up with
<v Speaker 1>Gunther against Solo Socoa and like you hear that, you
<v Speaker 1>say guntherer and Solo Socoa, you know, in the semifinals.
<v Speaker 1>It was kind of weird how tonight the two matches.
<v Speaker 1>We had Babyface against Babyface and we had heel against heel,
<v Speaker 1>and it's not an easy thing to work that dynamic,
<v Speaker 1>especially heel against heel, but somehow these two made it work.
<v Speaker 1>They found a way to make it work. Gunther and
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa had a match tonight that far exceeded the
<v Speaker 1>expectations that I had for it. And it was slow
<v Speaker 1>to start. It took some time to really build the
<v Speaker 1>fans really, you know, didn't have somebody, they didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a dog in the fight. You know, they didn't really
<v Speaker 1>have somebody to cheer for what it started. But by
<v Speaker 1>the time it was over, these two guys went out
<v Speaker 1>there and they had a really good match. And as
<v Speaker 1>much credit as I give to Gun there, because he's
<v Speaker 1>had nothing but bangers in this tournament so far, you
<v Speaker 1>got to give credit to Solo to what we saw
<v Speaker 1>out of him. I think in the ring tonight is
<v Speaker 1>the kind of match that, honestly, I have not seen
<v Speaker 1>out of him since he was doing the street fighter
<v Speaker 1>gimmick in NXT. He was a babyface in NXT and
<v Speaker 1>he has some really good matches down there. He just
<v Speaker 1>had a different role when he got called up to
<v Speaker 1>the main roster. He was the silent enforcer in the Bloodline,
<v Speaker 1>so he never spoke, he wasn't wrestling all the time.
<v Speaker 1>In that character. He was fine. He served his purpose
<v Speaker 1>in that group. He was great. And then you know,
<v Speaker 1>they obviously split him away from Roman and he formed
<v Speaker 1>his own crew and now he's got the MFTs and
<v Speaker 1>you see these, you know, little moments where he could
<v Speaker 1>be very funny and he can be entertaining. You know
<v Speaker 1>that he's got a personality there, but they have him
<v Speaker 1>playing this role of, you know, the boss of the MFTs,
<v Speaker 1>and it's a serious role and it's just fucking it's death.
<v Speaker 1>It's death on the show. It's not a role that
<v Speaker 1>really suits him. He's not the leader of a faction.
<v Speaker 1>And it's one of the things about SmackDown, frankly that
<v Speaker 1>is very boring on Friday nights, especially because they refuse
<v Speaker 1>to actually flesh out and develop any of the other
<v Speaker 1>characters in that group. And so long as they can
<v Speaker 1>insist on not doing so, I'm going to continue to
<v Speaker 1>trash them. But then we saw you know, kind of
<v Speaker 1>flashes of the old Solo Socoa in the ring tonight,
<v Speaker 1>which just showed you that, you know, depending on who
<v Speaker 1>he's in the ring with, he can you know, go
<v Speaker 1>in there and work with anybody else just as well
<v Speaker 1>as anybody else. And they went out there and had
<v Speaker 1>a really good match. So we'll get into what happened
<v Speaker 1>there a little bit later. On the other night, of course,
<v Speaker 1>was the other match was jay Uso against La Night,
<v Speaker 1>and I know who I was rooting for in that match,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Rakishi. I'm sure was glued to the TV
<v Speaker 1>screen tonight, and he's probably not very happy that both
<v Speaker 1>of his boys got bounced out of the tournament in
<v Speaker 1>the same night. I'm sure he's not very happy about that.
<v Speaker 1>We also had a real good main event until it
<v Speaker 1>was ruined the Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss against Rheo
<v Speaker 1>Ripley and EO Sky, and it was ruined by the
<v Speaker 1>Kabuki Warriors, and we saw Bailey and Lyra get involved,
<v Speaker 1>and the Judgment Day ladies got involved. What it was
<v Speaker 1>was just shining a spotlight on the tag team division,
<v Speaker 1>the women's tag team division. You had five teams out
<v Speaker 1>there at the end of the show tonight, and there
<v Speaker 1>really aren't many more than that. I mean, the only
<v Speaker 1>other one I could think of might be the secret hervist,
<v Speaker 1>so you'd be at most you have half a dozen teams.
<v Speaker 1>But you saw all those women involved in the closing
<v Speaker 1>segment tonight. They shined a spotlight on them. Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>was the final person that we saw before the show
<v Speaker 1>faded to black tonight. Live Morgan is back. If you
<v Speaker 1>didn't see Survivor series, she made her return. She helped
<v Speaker 1>Dom win the Intercontinental title back from John Cena, and
<v Speaker 1>it's great to have her back on the show. She
<v Speaker 1>was one of the key characters on Monday nights. There
<v Speaker 1>were a lot of different storyline possibilities with her and
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor, her and dom, her and Roxanne, and then
<v Speaker 1>she got hurt, so they pulled her off television altogether.
<v Speaker 1>So I was very curious when she came back, you know,
<v Speaker 1>are they going to pick up where they left off
<v Speaker 1>with the tension. There was this underlying tension with her
<v Speaker 1>in Roxane Perez and there was I can't call it underlying.
<v Speaker 1>It was pretty well out there, the tension between her
<v Speaker 1>and Finn Balor. We got none of that on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. All is well for the time being. All
<v Speaker 1>as well in the ranks of the Judgment day and
<v Speaker 1>liv Morgan appears to be the de facto leader of
<v Speaker 1>this crew. That's how she acted tonight. So for the
<v Speaker 1>time being anyway, everything's copasetic and there really wasn't a
<v Speaker 1>whole lot of drama, which doesn't make for the best
<v Speaker 1>television if everybody is getting along, But I guess they
<v Speaker 1>wanted to have a fresh start. Live is back and
<v Speaker 1>all is well for now for now, So when this
<v Speaker 1>show was over. It felt like there was enough on
<v Speaker 1>the show. I think too. I can't sit here and
<v Speaker 1>say it was a bad show. Wasn't a bad show.
<v Speaker 1>It was a good show. Wasn't an epic show. And
<v Speaker 1>there's a lesson to be learned here. Don't throw around
<v Speaker 1>words like that unless you actually have an epic show planned,
<v Speaker 1>because people are gonna cling to that and they're gonna wonder, oh,
<v Speaker 1>what does he mean by that? He wouldn't use that
<v Speaker 1>word unless there was something big planned on the show.
<v Speaker 1>I wonder who's gonna come back, or I wonder who's
<v Speaker 1>going to debut? Or I wonder what kind of big,
<v Speaker 1>shocking twist we're gonna have on the show. We didn't
<v Speaker 1>have any of that tonight, but it doesn't take away
<v Speaker 1>from the fact that I thought, overall it was a
<v Speaker 1>good show. This is your raw on Netflix review. It
<v Speaker 1>is the first day of December, December first, twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>I am the solemn monster. We are almost at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the year. Can you believe the holidays are
<v Speaker 1>almost upon us? We only have so many more raw
<v Speaker 1>reviews before the year is over. So I'm glad that
<v Speaker 1>you're spending your Monday night with me hit that subscribe button.
<v Speaker 1>We picked up a bunch of new subscribers over the weekend.
<v Speaker 1>I want to thank you for all of the feedback
<v Speaker 1>and the comments and hanging out with me to the
<v Speaker 1>tune of almost twenty six hundred people on Saturday night
<v Speaker 1>for the Survivor series review. Of course, Sunday was episode
<v Speaker 1>nine of the sound off that dropped, and on the
<v Speaker 1>podcast we talked more in depth about Survivor series. We
<v Speaker 1>talked more about this news of Roman Reigns and Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes Part three supposedly reportedly being planned for WrestleMania next
<v Speaker 1>year in Las Vegas. Not that that isn't a big match,
<v Speaker 1>but I think that's a mistake. That segment is now
<v Speaker 1>up on the YouTube channel if you missed it, but
<v Speaker 1>go check out the full podcast if you have not
<v Speaker 1>already done so, of course, wait until you're done here,
<v Speaker 1>then you can go check out the podcast. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>superchats are open. We have a goal going in the
<v Speaker 1>chat for some bonus be the booker, but get those
<v Speaker 1>superchats on in and I will be reading your messages
<v Speaker 1>a little bit later on here in the stream. Now,
<v Speaker 1>let's talk about this show here the show open with
<v Speaker 1>shots of the vision and other assorted stu arriving at
<v Speaker 1>the building. Logan Paul was with Paul Hayman, bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>and Bronson reed that was the first hint of wait
<v Speaker 1>a minute, is this guy part of the vision or not?
<v Speaker 1>It appears that he is. We got confirmation of that
<v Speaker 1>later on in the show. They also showed the judgment
<v Speaker 1>day out in the parking lot, all but Dominic and
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan. They arrived separately in a lowrider and liv
<v Speaker 1>got out of the car and she was hugging Raquel
<v Speaker 1>and JD McDonough and she just nodded at Roxane Perez
<v Speaker 1>and she started talking to Finn Balor. But we couldn't
<v Speaker 1>hear them. We can hear Joe tested to her, and
<v Speaker 1>Wade bar we couldn't hear them. So Eosky and Rhea
<v Speaker 1>Ripley they made their way out to the ring to
<v Speaker 1>officially open things. Ripley said that they were a little
<v Speaker 1>banged up after War Games. Attention attention to the siko
<v Speaker 1>in row four. Look, I know you're excited to be
<v Speaker 1>a dynamite tonight at your first show, but you can't
<v Speaker 1>be pulling that thing out, Okay, you got to put
<v Speaker 1>that away. Don't think I didn't see that sign that
<v Speaker 1>you brought that sa I came to see aew, that's sick.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you. It's always the little fuck triple h that
<v Speaker 1>that gets me. There, almost almost got me to crack
<v Speaker 1>retro koh, thank you, sir. So. Ripley said they were
<v Speaker 1>a little banged up, but they won the war. She
<v Speaker 1>said they managed to come out victorious despite them and
<v Speaker 1>their teammates not all being on the same page. Ripley
<v Speaker 1>said the war is not over though. She said that
<v Speaker 1>she and EO want revenge and it would start by
<v Speaker 1>taking the women's tag team titles away from the Kabookie Warriors.
<v Speaker 1>So Ripley started to call out the champions, but she
<v Speaker 1>was interrupted by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, the former
<v Speaker 1>tag team champions who made their way down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Bliss wanted Rhea to pump the brakes on going after
<v Speaker 1>the women's tag team titles because Charlotte and Alexa they
<v Speaker 1>still owed a rematch, and Rhea invited them both to
<v Speaker 1>get to the back of the line because they already
<v Speaker 1>lost lost to Oscar and Kyrie. And of course this
<v Speaker 1>all leads to Alexa challenging ria An Eo to a
<v Speaker 1>match for tonight, and EO accepts and Joe Testitur says,
<v Speaker 1>didn't see that coming? Really, have you been watching wrestling
<v Speaker 1>for six months? You didn't see that coming. I saw
<v Speaker 1>it coming the minute the fucking segment started. I saw
<v Speaker 1>it coming the minute that Charlotte and Alexa made their
<v Speaker 1>way to the ring. But apparently Joe tested Tour was
<v Speaker 1>caught off guard by this challenge. So anyway, that was
<v Speaker 1>our main event settled for tonight. So in the opening
<v Speaker 1>minute of the show, they established what the main event
<v Speaker 1>was going to be, not much more to it. From there,
<v Speaker 1>they cut to the back where Adam Pearce was confronted
<v Speaker 1>outside of his office by Paul Hayman and bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>And actually before actually before that, I completely missed iv
<v Speaker 1>and Isle. Can you blame me? This woman hasn't been
<v Speaker 1>on the show in a hot minute. This was her
<v Speaker 1>second appearance on Raw in the last few weeks, and
<v Speaker 1>that's after how many months of not being on this show.
<v Speaker 1>So before Paul Hayman and bron Breaker came in, Ivy Nile,
<v Speaker 1>she was the first one to confront Adam Pierce and
<v Speaker 1>she wanted. She demanded a title shot against Maxine Duprie.
<v Speaker 1>She says she deserved it, and Pierce was like, you
<v Speaker 1>deserve it now Again, this is a woman who prior
<v Speaker 1>to was it last week that was her legitimate first
<v Speaker 1>appearance in any kind of segment on this show in months.
<v Speaker 1>This is a woman here in Ivy Nile, who last
<v Speaker 1>wrestled on this show in June. But she's here saying
<v Speaker 1>she deserves a shot because Maxine Dupree has never beaten
<v Speaker 1>her before. In all the previous matches they've had, probably
<v Speaker 1>all those main event matches, Maxine has never beaten her.
<v Speaker 1>And evidently this is a fairly convincing argument to Adam Pierce,
<v Speaker 1>who said that he would look into making that match happen. Now.
<v Speaker 1>After Ivy left, that's when we got Paul Hayman and
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker. They walked up. Hayman played ignorance because Pierce
<v Speaker 1>wanted to know about the mystery man from Wargames back
<v Speaker 1>on Saturday. Yeah, z Ray says, I forgot Ivy Nila
<v Speaker 1>was even on the show. I forgot I even wrote
<v Speaker 1>her name in my notes. I almost skipped over her completely.
<v Speaker 1>What does that tell you? So he wants to know
<v Speaker 1>more about this mystery man Hayman. Of course, he played
<v Speaker 1>ignorance as to who this person was and he would
<v Speaker 1>rather discuss the implications of bron Breaker pinning CM Punk,
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Champion to win Wargames on Saturday. So
<v Speaker 1>they took the meeting into Pierce's office to further discuss things,
<v Speaker 1>and then they also casually mentioned on commentary after this
<v Speaker 1>that CM Punk was not medically cleared to wrestle after Wargames. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that's part of the storyline. He wasn't meant
<v Speaker 1>to be on the show tonight, I'm assuming, or maybe
<v Speaker 1>he is legitimately banged up. See, this is the problem
<v Speaker 1>when you have a forty seven year old that you
<v Speaker 1>have starting war Games that goes forty minutes. Although granted
<v Speaker 1>he probably did a lot of laying around during the match,
<v Speaker 1>but I was surprised when I saw him out there
<v Speaker 1>honestly opening the fucking match on Saturday. So we didn't
<v Speaker 1>see CM Punk on the show tonight. We had our
<v Speaker 1>first of two semi final matches. Indeed, John Cena Last
<v Speaker 1>Time is Now tournament with main event jay Usso one
<v Speaker 1>on one against La Knight USO hit a suicide dive
<v Speaker 1>out on Tonight on the floor and they cut to
<v Speaker 1>an early commercial. There was a spot here in this
<v Speaker 1>match where Knight sent Jay out of the ring and
<v Speaker 1>he set up you know this now, La and everyone
<v Speaker 1>has their moves that they do La Knight. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he's got that running charge into the corner where he'll
<v Speaker 1>jump up and hit a super plag he's got the
<v Speaker 1>leaping standing elbow drop, but he's also got that running
<v Speaker 1>basement dropkick, that low dropkick through the ropes and he
<v Speaker 1>lands on his feet outside the ring. So he was
<v Speaker 1>setting up for that because Jay was sent outside of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. The problem is Jay was out of position.
<v Speaker 1>He was sucking wind over by the announced desk. So
<v Speaker 1>La Knight is standing, i mean on the far side
<v Speaker 1>of the ring and he's looking at Jane. He sees
<v Speaker 1>that j is not in position, and you can audibly
<v Speaker 1>hear him. You can audibly hear La Knight saying closer,
<v Speaker 1>get closer, closer. So Jay got a little bit closer,
<v Speaker 1>but he didn't get close enough. So when La Knight
<v Speaker 1>came through the ropes for the dropkick, he barely grazed Jay,
<v Speaker 1>so like it did not look good, So Jy fought
<v Speaker 1>his way out of a superplex attempt. Back inside the ring,
<v Speaker 1>both men exchange punches and then they each tumbled off
<v Speaker 1>the ropes la Knight fell off the ropes on one side,
<v Speaker 1>Jay fell off the ropes on the other. They both
<v Speaker 1>landed on the floor and so now the referee administers
<v Speaker 1>the count. They both made it back inside. Knight hit
<v Speaker 1>a burning hammer for a near fall. Jay landed a
<v Speaker 1>spear after this Night kicked out it too. Jay went
<v Speaker 1>to the top and Knight popped up and he was
<v Speaker 1>going to go for that leaping superplex spot in the corner,
<v Speaker 1>but he slipped, had a little slip. He didn't slip
<v Speaker 1>and fall on his ass like brock Lesnar did last week,
<v Speaker 1>but he slipped momentarily and then he readjusted and recovered
<v Speaker 1>from that hit the superplex. After landing the superplex, Jay
<v Speaker 1>is pounding the mat like angrily pounding the mat. I
<v Speaker 1>assume he was just selling unless he really got hurt
<v Speaker 1>on the move and wasn't happy about something. But he
<v Speaker 1>starts pounding on the mat. Knight covers him only gets
<v Speaker 1>a near fall, So Jay comes back with another spear
<v Speaker 1>and he heads up top for an USSO, and he
<v Speaker 1>had the match won at that point, but he covered
<v Speaker 1>La Knight in a way where he covered him with
<v Speaker 1>his back, which you never do. You don't do that,
<v Speaker 1>you give the guy your back. So naturally, before the
<v Speaker 1>referee could count three, La Knight hooks him over into
<v Speaker 1>a crucifix and he gets the flash pin. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>just sitting here watching this and I'm just going, thank God,
<v Speaker 1>Yew Xavier Woods on Raw every week like that's the
<v Speaker 1>New Day punchline. Thank God for the New Day. Right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching this going, thank God, we actually got the
<v Speaker 1>right decision here in this match. Now, that doesn't matter.
<v Speaker 1>Let's just be honest, Okay, let's just be honest about
<v Speaker 1>the whole thing here. It doesn't matter who won this match,
<v Speaker 1>because whoever wins this match is just going to smack
<v Speaker 1>Down on Friday and losing to Gunther. Okay, you know it,
<v Speaker 1>I know it. La Knight knows it, jay Uso knew it,
<v Speaker 1>we all know it. But I had no appetite for
<v Speaker 1>another gun through j Uso match. We've had enough of
<v Speaker 1>those this year. We had them last year too for
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental title, and then that bled over into this
<v Speaker 1>year for the world heavyweight title. We don't need another
<v Speaker 1>gun Through j Uso match, so thankfully we are not
<v Speaker 1>getting one, because if we had gun Through and Jay
<v Speaker 1>Uso in the finals of this tournament, I would have
<v Speaker 1>banged my head against this wall. At Least gun Through
<v Speaker 1>in La Night is something different. We know the outcome,
<v Speaker 1>but at least it's something different. So thankfully we got
<v Speaker 1>the right result here. It doesn't change anything. We all
<v Speaker 1>know how this tournament is going to end, still going
<v Speaker 1>to be gun there at Saturday Night's main event going
<v Speaker 1>in there against John Cena. How sad is it that
<v Speaker 1>I have to sit here and consider this a mild upset?
<v Speaker 1>I do. I consider this a mild upset that La
<v Speaker 1>Knight actually beat Jay Uso. It just it says a
<v Speaker 1>lot about the state of La Knight over the last
<v Speaker 1>few months that I would even think like that and
<v Speaker 1>consider it any kind of upset. After the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>Jay sitting in the corner and he looked and they
<v Speaker 1>stopped the music, so you know something's going to happen, right,
<v Speaker 1>And Jay's sitting there and he's very despondent. Crowds giving
<v Speaker 1>him some polite applause as he rolls out to the
<v Speaker 1>floor over by the announcers, and he's just sort of
<v Speaker 1>pacing around for a little bit, and I'm like, all right,
<v Speaker 1>where is this going? Like what are we doing here?
<v Speaker 1>And then finally he overturns the Prime hydration station. He's
<v Speaker 1>throwing the Prime stand around. He grabs the ring steps
<v Speaker 1>and he throws the ring steps down. He was doing
<v Speaker 1>his best Brett Hart impersonation from after the match of
<v Speaker 1>Montreal at Survivor Series, where he just started wrecking shit
<v Speaker 1>all around ringside. The only thing Jay didn't do. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't destroy monitors the way that Brett did. But basically
<v Speaker 1>he was throwing a fit. He was having a meltdown here.
<v Speaker 1>And then he left. Then he went to the back
<v Speaker 1>and he looked very angry. He was seething as he
<v Speaker 1>walked to the back, and I thought he might even
<v Speaker 1>attack the announcers or something. I mean, they were they
<v Speaker 1>kept the camera on him for so long and I
<v Speaker 1>was waiting for something to happen that I thought, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>he's going to do something. Heelish he's going to attack somebody,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe he is going to go heal right, or
<v Speaker 1>they're going to tease that he's going heel That's kind
<v Speaker 1>of what it felt like here, But I mean he
<v Speaker 1>didn't do anything heelish. He was just blowing off some steam.
<v Speaker 1>He was very upset. The baby Faces are coming off
<v Speaker 1>a loss right in War Games on Saturday, and so
<v Speaker 1>here he lost again and I suppose it could end
<v Speaker 1>up being a heel turn. We got another segment with
<v Speaker 1>him later in the show. I don't think it's a
<v Speaker 1>heel turn. Look, I'll say this, I am all in
<v Speaker 1>favor of some sort of character development with Jay Ussel
<v Speaker 1>other than him just being the guy who comes at
<v Speaker 1>and yeats, because it's very clear from watching him in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, like there's nothing about his in ring style,
<v Speaker 1>Like he does what he does. He's got his big
<v Speaker 1>moves that he does and that's never gonna change. Like
<v Speaker 1>he's not trying to incorporate new moves or new things
<v Speaker 1>into his routine. Even fucking John Cena. Go back ten
<v Speaker 1>years ago, John Cena was throwing in standing ranas and
<v Speaker 1>shit that he was trying in his matches because people
<v Speaker 1>always made fun of him for having the same five moves.
<v Speaker 1>So Seene is like, I'll show you. Then I said, like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>he's still not the best wrestler in the world. But
<v Speaker 1>you know what, I give the guy credit for at
<v Speaker 1>least trying some new stuff. You're never gonna get that
<v Speaker 1>with jay Uso, all right, You're just not. What you
<v Speaker 1>see is what you get. So the best you can
<v Speaker 1>hope for is that they at least try to develop
<v Speaker 1>this character in some way that's interesting. And I hope
<v Speaker 1>that's what they do with him. It's still too early
<v Speaker 1>to tell exactly where this is gonna go. He's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be more of a tweeener. Is he going to abandon
<v Speaker 1>the yeat stuff. I don't think he will because they
<v Speaker 1>love it, those drone shots and those crowd shots. Look
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor series. The guy is sitting on top of
<v Speaker 1>the of the steel cage, assaulting the cage and dry
<v Speaker 1>humping the cage, and they have this aerial shot of
<v Speaker 1>you know, forty something thousand people in the crowd yeating
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of war games. Right. They love this shit.
<v Speaker 1>So that's not going to go away. That's why they
<v Speaker 1>can't turn him heal, but any kind of character development,
<v Speaker 1>because he's just he's stuck in this rut where I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying he's not popular. I'm just telling you that
<v Speaker 1>as a viewer, I watch jay Usa on TV and
<v Speaker 1>I'm bored. I'm like, there's not much to what we
<v Speaker 1>are seeing here, so anything you could do is a
<v Speaker 1>welcome change. Let's see where they take this. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's a positive step that they're at least doing something
<v Speaker 1>different with him. I want to see more of that.
<v Speaker 1>At backstage. Bailey and Lyra Valkyria, Oh that's right, yea,
<v Speaker 1>how can I forget? John Cena also did a code red. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>actually a pretty good code read. You do know that.
<v Speaker 1>To be fair, when you do the code red, a
<v Speaker 1>lot of it really is your opponent. I just be honest.
<v Speaker 1>But still, he did learn it. You do make a
<v Speaker 1>good point. He did learn that move as well any
<v Speaker 1>other moves that Sina started doing that I'm forgetting. I
<v Speaker 1>just remember he learned a few new moves and people
<v Speaker 1>lost their minds. They're like, oh, man, John Cena learn
<v Speaker 1>a new move. You're never going to see that with
<v Speaker 1>jay USO. You're just not. Bailey and Lyra Vlkirie. They're
<v Speaker 1>in the back talking to Adam Pierce about getting back
<v Speaker 1>in the women's tag team title picture. Pierce asked Bailey
<v Speaker 1>if she was in the right headspace, which Bailey am
<v Speaker 1>I talking to? By the way, whatever happened to that?
<v Speaker 1>It feels like they've completely abandoned the whole split personality
<v Speaker 1>thing with Bailey. There's been nothing new on that in
<v Speaker 1>weeks and weeks and weeks. Have they just completely set
<v Speaker 1>that character to the side. That's what it feels like
<v Speaker 1>to me. I mean, part of it was a little goofy,
<v Speaker 1>but like they were trying something with her and then
<v Speaker 1>they just sort of dropped it cold. There's been no
<v Speaker 1>character development, speaking of which character development with her in
<v Speaker 1>like over a month. Apparently she was in the right
<v Speaker 1>headspace tonight, so Valkyrius said that she was doing well
<v Speaker 1>most of the time. Pierce said that he would consider
<v Speaker 1>them for a shot. After he left, Oscar and Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>Saine showed up, and Oscar said that her Wargames team
<v Speaker 1>could have won the match had Bailey agreed to join them.
<v Speaker 1>Bailey called them idiots. Oscar said, Bailey is nothing. Meanwhile,
<v Speaker 1>look at you and look who's in the main event tonite.
<v Speaker 1>She said, Charlotte Flair is in the main event tonight
<v Speaker 1>and you are not. So Oscar leaves. Kyrie then presents
<v Speaker 1>ba with that green chain that she came out to
<v Speaker 1>the ring with at Wargames. She presents her with the
<v Speaker 1>chain and she gently places it around her neck before
<v Speaker 1>being yelled at by Osca off camera. Yeah, I hit
<v Speaker 1>the wrong sound bite, as you can hear La Knight
<v Speaker 1>in the background. Go yeah, La Knight was there too.
<v Speaker 1>You didn't hear him, but I did. See. I bet
<v Speaker 1>you didn't hear him there. But then let's pretend that
<v Speaker 1>he was there. So yes, you heard Kyrie. And then
<v Speaker 1>off went Kyrie and that was the end of the segment.
<v Speaker 1>See the wrestlers aren't the only ones you watch. I
<v Speaker 1>batched too sometimes, but see I could play it off
<v Speaker 1>like brock Lesnar did last week. Dominic Mysterio, let's move
<v Speaker 1>on here. Dominic Mysterio was out to the ring next
<v Speaker 1>with all the members of the Judgment Day all except
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan to address the crowd after regaining his Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>title from John Cena, the biggest win of his career
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor Series. See thank you, JP. JP Reckless says, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I heard him too. See I'm telling you you didn't
<v Speaker 1>hear it, but La Knight was in the background. See
<v Speaker 1>I didn't watch nothing. Oscar Oscar shouting, Oscar shouting yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that would be great. Let's just have them flip rolls.
<v Speaker 1>We'll have Oscar shout yeah, and then La Knight can
<v Speaker 1>just screing for Kyrie. I think that'd be awesome. Dominic
<v Speaker 1>said that John Cena is the greatest of all time,
<v Speaker 1>but he just beat the greatest of all time, So
<v Speaker 1>that makes him the greatest mysterio of all time. That
<v Speaker 1>makes him the greatest luchador of all time, and that
<v Speaker 1>makes him once again the greatest intercontinental champion of all time.
<v Speaker 1>But he could not have done it without his boys
<v Speaker 1>JD and Finnbalor and of course Rock Sand and Raquel.
<v Speaker 1>But there's one person in particular that he most deaf,
<v Speaker 1>definitely could not have done it without. Please welcome Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 1>So she got her own entrance and she comes down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and she's very happy to be back.
<v Speaker 1>She says she's here to right the ship with the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day who have been losing titles. And we got
<v Speaker 1>a close up of Finn Balor looking disappointed. She said,
<v Speaker 1>as of right now, the Judgment Day once again officially
<v Speaker 1>runs Monday night. Raw. Oh and Dominic one more thing,
<v Speaker 1>and she slaps him across the face, which is what
<v Speaker 1>she did on Saturday, by the way, that was all
<v Speaker 1>part of the swerve. So she slaps Dominic in the
<v Speaker 1>face again here. Then she jumps up in his arms
<v Speaker 1>and she rubs noses with him, and she kisses him
<v Speaker 1>on the cheek. Oh my, it's one of those relationships.
<v Speaker 1>I see, I see how it is. I'm not judging
<v Speaker 1>good for him, but they got one of those relationships
<v Speaker 1>going on. Look, I don't expect them to give everything
<v Speaker 1>away here. I don't expect them to give everything away
<v Speaker 1>in one week. But I was watching Finn Balor, and
<v Speaker 1>I was watching Rock Sande in particular out there, and
<v Speaker 1>I was waiting for even just a hint of something,
<v Speaker 1>some sort of sneer or a negative reaction or a
<v Speaker 1>look or a nod or something, and there was nothing.
<v Speaker 1>This was as straightforward as it gets. Live is back.
<v Speaker 1>The family is all on the same page. It's all
<v Speaker 1>smiles and rainbows and unicorns, and the Judgment Day is
<v Speaker 1>one well oiled machine. They're one big, happy family, and
<v Speaker 1>that makes for boring television. But they're gonna take their
<v Speaker 1>time telling the story. Live just came back, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't really have an issue with that. I'm just saying
<v Speaker 1>in the moment, I was disappointed because I was hoping
<v Speaker 1>there would be a hint something, But right now they're
<v Speaker 1>playing it as everyone's on the same page right until
<v Speaker 1>they're not. And whether it's next week, whether it's a
<v Speaker 1>month from now, we all know things will break down
<v Speaker 1>at some point, and whether it's drama with Live and
<v Speaker 1>Valor or Live in Roxanne, like, it will happen. But
<v Speaker 1>it's almost like we're starting all over again, and the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day is going to be the dominant group. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you have the Vision obviously, but the Judgment Day gets
<v Speaker 1>more television time than the Vision does. I don't see
<v Speaker 1>that changing. That's been the case for the last two
<v Speaker 1>and a half years. There is no group in this
<v Speaker 1>company outside of the Bloodline over the last five years
<v Speaker 1>that has gotten more television time than the Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they are in multiple segments every single week
<v Speaker 1>on these shows, and now that Live Morgan is back,
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be more of the same. So you
<v Speaker 1>just kind of get to a point where it's like,
<v Speaker 1>how do you begin to differentiate these segments and kind
<v Speaker 1>of make them interesting? And these things along where Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you drop those little breadcrumbs of oh there's a little
<v Speaker 1>dissension here, or oh that comment that she made behind
<v Speaker 1>his back, or you know, whatever it may be, And
<v Speaker 1>it really does feel like we're just kind of starting
<v Speaker 1>all over again and pushing the reset button. So there
<v Speaker 1>wasn't much more to the segment. That's pretty much what
<v Speaker 1>we got, not the last time we would see live
<v Speaker 1>though on the show. We got a training vignette after
<v Speaker 1>this for Maxine Dupree, who of course is the new
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental champion. But in this vignette which was shot, it
<v Speaker 1>was very gritty, kind of grainy and gritty the way
<v Speaker 1>they shot this. She was shown training and getting her
<v Speaker 1>ass handed to her by Natalia, presumably in the dungeon,
<v Speaker 1>and she took out her first opponent with an ankle lock.
<v Speaker 1>But then she and Natty went at it and it
<v Speaker 1>was not going well for Maxine, and Natty locked on
<v Speaker 1>the sharpshooter and then she slapped Maxine down and told
<v Speaker 1>her get out of her ring. Maxine fights back to
<v Speaker 1>her feet, right, it is like something out of a
<v Speaker 1>fucking movie. Actually's like struggling to get back to her feet.
<v Speaker 1>She's all sweaty and beat up, and she gets back
<v Speaker 1>to her feet and she yells again, and we got
<v Speaker 1>a shot of Natty. They didn't actually show you Natty's
<v Speaker 1>face until the very end. You can kind of see
<v Speaker 1>her through some of the blurry shots, but then at
<v Speaker 1>the very end you saw it was Natty and she smiles.
<v Speaker 1>It's weird to me. I'm sorry, it's just it's weird
<v Speaker 1>to see something like this after she won the title.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like this is the sort of segment that
<v Speaker 1>we should have seen in the build up to her
<v Speaker 1>winning the championship. Remember that segment on Raw like a
<v Speaker 1>month ago where she told Adam Peters was like, you've
<v Speaker 1>earned the right to challenge Becky Lynch for the intercontinental title.
<v Speaker 1>You've beaten her by count out, you've beaten her by disqualification,
<v Speaker 1>You've burned your shot. And do you remember Maxine's response,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that, but I think I'm going to call
<v Speaker 1>a friend. I'm not quite ready yet. I'll let you
<v Speaker 1>know when i'm ready, which was kind of weird in
<v Speaker 1>and of itself. That's when these types of vignettes you
<v Speaker 1>would expect them to be running. And then she wins
<v Speaker 1>the championship, so it felt a little backwards to be
<v Speaker 1>getting this. Now that being said, I liked it. It's
<v Speaker 1>the sort of character development that I think Maxine needs,
<v Speaker 1>and it would also be nice to see more of
<v Speaker 1>blood Sport Natty on TV. My only reservation about doing
<v Speaker 1>this kind of Bloodsport version of Natty on television, which
<v Speaker 1>we saw glimpses of here in this segment, is that
<v Speaker 1>you're never gonna get Bloodsport Natty on WWE television. You're
<v Speaker 1>never gonna get it right. She may change her gears,
<v Speaker 1>she may change her music, she may change aspects of
<v Speaker 1>her character. They're never gonna They're never gonna let her
<v Speaker 1>go out there and be the version of herself that
<v Speaker 1>we see in Bloodsport or when she's worked some of
<v Speaker 1>these independent shows. It'll be like a water down version.
<v Speaker 1>She's never going to get a serious push ever again
<v Speaker 1>in this company. So like, do I want to see it? Am?
<v Speaker 1>I okay with seeing a watered down version of it?
<v Speaker 1>Not really, it would be cool. I mean, you talk
<v Speaker 1>about somebody who could use a character over Paul or
<v Speaker 1>a character makeover on this show, but she's not the
<v Speaker 1>priority right now. The priority is Maxine and doing everything
<v Speaker 1>you can to get Maxine over. So this may be
<v Speaker 1>the closest we get to blood Sport Natty ONWWE television.
<v Speaker 1>But I like this segment, and I would think that
<v Speaker 1>we're going to get more of them, maybe, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>a few more over the next few weeks, but building
<v Speaker 1>to what like she's already won the title. It's kind
<v Speaker 1>of strange. Adam Pierce was backstage and he summoned one
<v Speaker 1>of the referees over. He summoned over New York Mets
<v Speaker 1>fan Eddie Orango over for a chat. Eddie, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I've been hearing all this chatter about people claiming they
<v Speaker 1>saw Seth Rollins last night or Saturday night backstage at
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series, and his arm wasn't in a sling, you know,
<v Speaker 1>people thinking he might have been the mystery man in
<v Speaker 1>war Games. And he asks Eddie to discreetly poke around
<v Speaker 1>and find out what he can about these rumors, because
<v Speaker 1>he's hearing all sorts of things, right, He's hearing from
<v Speaker 1>his own medical team that it's impossible, it cannot be
<v Speaker 1>sad he had surgery. There's no way he can climb
<v Speaker 1>in and out of the cage like that. But then
<v Speaker 1>other people insist that they saw him and he didn't
<v Speaker 1>have the sling on and he looked fine. So he's
<v Speaker 1>asking the referee to basically be a be a narc
<v Speaker 1>and go gather information about whether or not this is
<v Speaker 1>true and what he's hearing, and then report back to him.
<v Speaker 1>That's basically the point. Gather as much dirt as you
<v Speaker 1>can and then get back to me is what he's
<v Speaker 1>trying to do here. And I love this because he's
<v Speaker 1>asking this referee on camera in front of millions of people,
<v Speaker 1>including all the people in the locker room. Hey, this
<v Speaker 1>is between you and me, all right. I want you
<v Speaker 1>to go ahead and just gather up as much dirt
<v Speaker 1>as you can and then report back to me, but
<v Speaker 1>be very discreet about it. I don't want people to
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on. They're not going to talk to
<v Speaker 1>me because I'm the boss, but maybe they'll talk to you.
<v Speaker 1>And I get that it's a television show. But like
<v Speaker 1>right after this, like Joe Tessitour is addressing this, so
<v Speaker 1>like they clearly saw it. It's not like the thing
<v Speaker 1>about like Luca anderw It makes me think of Luca Underground.
<v Speaker 1>Luca Underground would have these cinematic vignettes and these behind
<v Speaker 1>the scenes like backstage segments, and it's like they were
<v Speaker 1>in their own little universe where we could see it, right,
<v Speaker 1>but it was a television show and it's just sort
<v Speaker 1>of happening, And they would cut back into the Temple
<v Speaker 1>as they called it, and the announcers never acknowledged anything
<v Speaker 1>that ever happened in those sects vice because it's like
<v Speaker 1>they never saw them. It's like they just existed for
<v Speaker 1>us and nobody else. Like you never heard Matt Striker
<v Speaker 1>and Vampiro mention anything coming out of a backstage segment
<v Speaker 1>or a cinematic like vignette, but here it's like they
<v Speaker 1>come back in Joe Tesitor just talking about it. I'm like, okay, well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess everybody else in the locker room probably saw
<v Speaker 1>what he just said too, Like, what the fuck? What
<v Speaker 1>are we doing here? Is just so goofy well, I whatever, though,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's again I'm picking knits here, but still
<v Speaker 1>I just thought it was silly. So we had aj
<v Speaker 1>Styles and we had Dragon Lee aj Lee defending the
<v Speaker 1>world tag team titles against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods,
<v Speaker 1>and there was not much of a reaction for either
<v Speaker 1>one of these teams during the in ring introductions, including
<v Speaker 1>AJ and Dragon Lee, which was kind of surprising. New
<v Speaker 1>Day jumped AJ before the bell. Dragon Lee got the
<v Speaker 1>tag and he took Kofi Kingston down with a step
<v Speaker 1>up rana and then he jumped over the ropes in
<v Speaker 1>one fluid motion and he was able to snag Xavier
<v Speaker 1>Woods off the apron so over the top rana sent
<v Speaker 1>him to the floor. After a break, AJ Styles got
<v Speaker 1>the hot tag. Yes, the hot tag so during the
<v Speaker 1>commercial break is when the Heels got all the heat
<v Speaker 1>on Dragon Lee. By the time they came back. AJ
<v Speaker 1>got the hot tag, but he fell victim to a
<v Speaker 1>double team. Woods held Styles open for a leg drop
<v Speaker 1>from Kofe. Styles ended up getting a calf crusher lockdown,
<v Speaker 1>but Woods made the save. Kofe got a near fall
<v Speaker 1>with a roll up while holding the tights. Styles sent
<v Speaker 1>Kingston into a sit out power bomb from Dragon Lee
<v Speaker 1>for a near fall. Woods hit Styles with a superkick
<v Speaker 1>and then hung up Dragon Lee in the ropes or
<v Speaker 1>in the corner rather. Kofe then dove in with a
<v Speaker 1>dropkick to Dragon Lee and then came the finish, and
<v Speaker 1>the finish of this match was awesome finish of this
<v Speaker 1>match was great. Styles got Kingston hung up in the ropes,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like draped over the top rope. Dragon Lee
<v Speaker 1>at that point jumped off the top with a double
<v Speaker 1>stomp to Kofe's back, and this is all Kofe. Kofe
<v Speaker 1>then bounced himself and the best thing I can compare
<v Speaker 1>it to was years ago on Raw one of the
<v Speaker 1>best finishes you'll ever see. Ricochet was also draped over
<v Speaker 1>the top rope, almost positive it was Ricochet, and he
<v Speaker 1>ended up bouncing off the ropes right into a picture
<v Speaker 1>perfect styles clash. That's basically what this was. But after
<v Speaker 1>the double stomp is when he bounced off the ropes,
<v Speaker 1>AJ caught him in perfect position for a styles clash,
<v Speaker 1>but not before pointing to his partner and giving the
<v Speaker 1>high sign for Dragon Lee to sail over the top
<v Speaker 1>rope with a dive out onto Xavier Woods and then
<v Speaker 1>Styles finished off Kofe Kingston with a styles clash and
<v Speaker 1>they retained the titles. So that finish got over great.
<v Speaker 1>You talk about I mean a crowd that maybe was
<v Speaker 1>not as into the match early on, they love that finish.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that woke them the fuck up. Not that
<v Speaker 1>they were sleeping, But like that got the reaction that
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they were hoping for, and they replayed it
<v Speaker 1>and it was great. So for a team that hasn't
<v Speaker 1>been together, you know, for more than what half a
<v Speaker 1>dozen matches, I think they said Styles and Lee they
<v Speaker 1>make a hell of a team. I'm sad that AJ
<v Speaker 1>is hanging it up next year. I mean, I get
<v Speaker 1>what he says when he talks about why he's retiring
<v Speaker 1>next year. I'm sure he's feeling beat up, but he
<v Speaker 1>just doesn't want to go too long where he feels
<v Speaker 1>like he's not able to be the Aj Styles that
<v Speaker 1>people remember, right. I've heard other people like Steve Austin
<v Speaker 1>say that where I don't want people to remember me
<v Speaker 1>as less than Undertakers said that. Unfortunately for Undertaker was
<v Speaker 1>it was too late because there were many times watching
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker in his later years where I felt like, man,
<v Speaker 1>this guy should not be in the ring anymore. But
<v Speaker 1>like during his documentary he made that comment about it,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to be that guy where you know,
<v Speaker 1>the dad goes to the show with his kid and says, man,
<v Speaker 1>you should have seen him when he was good. So
<v Speaker 1>I get it. It's I get that mentality, but styles
<v Speaker 1>can still go like he can get another couple of
<v Speaker 1>years out of it if he wanted to, and he
<v Speaker 1>can still go at a high level. So it's a
<v Speaker 1>bummer that he is pretty hell bent on hanging it
<v Speaker 1>up next year when you see you see certain matches
<v Speaker 1>like matches like this, and it's like maybe him being
<v Speaker 1>in a tag team can prolong his career a little
<v Speaker 1>bit longer, but he's pretty insistent the next year is
<v Speaker 1>going to be the end of the road. Backstage, Jackie
<v Speaker 1>Redmand interviewed the women's World champion, Stephanie Vicaire after her
<v Speaker 1>win over Nikki Bella. Vicaire said that her victory showed
<v Speaker 1>that if you betray her, you get burned. Just as
<v Speaker 1>she wondered who would be coming next for her championship,
<v Speaker 1>who should show up? But liv Morgan walks up and
<v Speaker 1>remind Stephanie that she's back, and that was that short
<v Speaker 1>and sweet. I'll talk more about Stephanie a little bit later,
<v Speaker 1>because this is this is potentially becoming an issue very
<v Speaker 1>similar to the one that we have with the other
<v Speaker 1>women's world title on SmackDown. Even though they have more
<v Speaker 1>women on this show, women's division is much stronger on
<v Speaker 1>Mondays than it is on Fridays. I think we are
<v Speaker 1>rapidly approaching a red alert type situation with the women's
<v Speaker 1>world title. But before that, we have to talk about
<v Speaker 1>the Vision. They were out to the ring next led
<v Speaker 1>by Paul Hayman, and yes, Logan Paul was part of
<v Speaker 1>the crew. It was Logan Paul, it was bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>and it was Bronson Reid. So Logan Paul is officially
<v Speaker 1>part of the group. Now hopefully that means he'll be
<v Speaker 1>on TV weekly because I don't want to see any
<v Speaker 1>new members of really any faction. I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>see any members of the Vision that are not full
<v Speaker 1>time on television most weeks, if not every week. Logan
<v Speaker 1>Paul has been part time. Logan Paul comes in, he
<v Speaker 1>wrestles to this guy, he wrestles that guy usually has
<v Speaker 1>very good matches, and then he disappears for months. If
<v Speaker 1>you are going to have Logan Paul as part of
<v Speaker 1>the Vision, then he needs to be a full time
<v Speaker 1>member of the Vision. I don't want to see them
<v Speaker 1>start adding members who are going to be on television
<v Speaker 1>once every blue moon. So hopefully this is a sign
<v Speaker 1>that he's going to be around more often, and that's
<v Speaker 1>the case. I don't have an issue with him being
<v Speaker 1>a part of the vision. Logan Paul fits the vision
<v Speaker 1>that Paul Hayman would have of these young stars who
<v Speaker 1>are going to lead the charge into the next era
<v Speaker 1>of WWE. Logan Paul would fit that bill, as would
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker and potentially in Austin theory if they end
<v Speaker 1>up adding him to the group. But he's got to
<v Speaker 1>be there full time. Can't have this bullshit where he's
<v Speaker 1>there once every two to three months. So Hayman started
<v Speaker 1>giving shout outs to every member of the Winning War
<v Speaker 1>Games team on Saturday, including Brock Lesner and who knows
<v Speaker 1>when we'll see him again, and Drew McIntyre, who knows
<v Speaker 1>when we'll see him again too, because technically he's still suspended.
<v Speaker 1>Now that Wargames is over, he's back on suspension. He
<v Speaker 1>praised Logan Paul for fitting into his vision for the future,
<v Speaker 1>and then came the announcement, the big announcement that on
<v Speaker 1>the one year anniversary of the debut episode of Raw
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix, the first Raw of twenty twenty six is
<v Speaker 1>on January fifth at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn. This
<v Speaker 1>is what he discussed with Adam Pierson the back earlier,
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker will challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship,
<v Speaker 1>and at that point bron Breaker took the mic and
<v Speaker 1>his work got good. Took the mic, he said, he's
<v Speaker 1>a little upset, not because of where they are tonight,
<v Speaker 1>or the mass guy that tried to steal his moment
<v Speaker 1>on Saturday, Batman or whoever that guy is. If that's Batman,
<v Speaker 1>that's the worst looking Batman costume I've ever seen in
<v Speaker 1>my entire fucking life. But yes, he wasn't sure who
<v Speaker 1>it was, but this person tried to steal his thunder,
<v Speaker 1>almost tried to ruin his moment in war Games. Now,
<v Speaker 1>what he's upset about is how easy it was for
<v Speaker 1>him to beat CM Punk. He thought that he would
<v Speaker 1>have to find a different level, a different gear that
<v Speaker 1>he's never been at before to beat the guy that
<v Speaker 1>he watched on TV as a kid, only to realize
<v Speaker 1>that CM punk is nothing but a soft ass bitch.
<v Speaker 1>Punk is no different than any of these other guys
<v Speaker 1>living off their past glory, like that narcissistic piece of
<v Speaker 1>garbage seth Rollins, holding everyone else down when really he
<v Speaker 1>should be worried about the war going on inside his
<v Speaker 1>own home, that his wife is a bigger star than
<v Speaker 1>he is. Also, I should mention that no Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 1>on Raw tonight because Becky Lynch is boycotting Raw. She's
<v Speaker 1>boycotting the show after what happened on Saturday where everybody
<v Speaker 1>is claiming that she tapped out to aj Lee. She
<v Speaker 1>insists that she did not tap out. I believe she
<v Speaker 1>said that she was waving for her partners to come over.
<v Speaker 1>So she is boycotting the show. So she also was
<v Speaker 1>not there tonight. But he said on January fifth, it'll
<v Speaker 1>be a different kind of fight. Punk tried to break
<v Speaker 1>his neck and ruin his life on Saturday. So he's
<v Speaker 1>going to ruin Punk's life. And now he's getting hot,
<v Speaker 1>he's getting animated, and he had a jacket on and
<v Speaker 1>he pulls the jacket off. Right now, he's getting all
<v Speaker 1>fired up. He said, listen to me, Punk, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>ruin your life. I'm coming for your career. I'm coming
<v Speaker 1>for every good memory that these people remember you for.
<v Speaker 1>I'm coming for it all. And oh I didn't forget
<v Speaker 1>this is for you, by the way, he forgot. I
<v Speaker 1>hope you're watching it home. You remember last year at
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania backstage when you came up to me in the
<v Speaker 1>back in the hallway and you said, well, congratulations and
<v Speaker 1>all the success. Kid, Let's see if you can cut
<v Speaker 1>a promo with the big dogs now. He said, well,
<v Speaker 1>Ladi Da considered the promo cut because on January fifth,
<v Speaker 1>when you're on your ass looking up at the lights
<v Speaker 1>and I'm standing over you and they announced me as
<v Speaker 1>the new heavyweight champion of the world, you will look
<v Speaker 1>into my eyes with your beaty, stupid face and realize
<v Speaker 1>that you are not even close to the badass bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>the real best in the world. And he slammed the
<v Speaker 1>microphone down and even Logan Paul the segment was over,
<v Speaker 1>but Logan Paul on the mic in the back round,
<v Speaker 1>even Logan Paul was like damn, and Breaker stormed off,
<v Speaker 1>while the rest of the vision stayed back in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and applauded damn. Indeed, that was a I'll have
<v Speaker 1>a little promo there from brom Breaker. He didn't overstay
<v Speaker 1>as welcome. It wasn't long winded, there were limited what
<v Speaker 1>chance as it went on. It wasn't anything overwhelming, and
<v Speaker 1>he didn't give them a chance to because you know why,
<v Speaker 1>he talks like a normal fucking person. It's what annoys
<v Speaker 1>the shit out of me with some of these promos
<v Speaker 1>that these people cut. There are people on the roster
<v Speaker 1>who when the what chance begin because of the way
<v Speaker 1>they speak. They speak in like sound bites where they
<v Speaker 1>give the fans a chance to like cut in in
<v Speaker 1>between sentences. That's not how real people speak. When you
<v Speaker 1>do that, you're just inviting the fans to stabotage your promo.
<v Speaker 1>And then at that point it becomes less of a
<v Speaker 1>promo and more of a competition between you and the
<v Speaker 1>fans where you're either trying to speed through the promo
<v Speaker 1>or you're now you have to incorporate it into your promo.
<v Speaker 1>And it's just it has been going on now for
<v Speaker 1>twenty five years. In this case, he didn't give them
<v Speaker 1>a chance to do that. He stood in the middle
<v Speaker 1>of the ring, He stared right into the camera. He
<v Speaker 1>was all intense, and he cut a promo on this
<v Speaker 1>guy like a normal person would cut a promo on somebody.
<v Speaker 1>He is getting the biggest opportunity of his career on
<v Speaker 1>January fifth, and he stood in the middle of that
<v Speaker 1>ring tonight, and he made it very clear that I'm
<v Speaker 1>coming for you. I'm coming for that championship. I haven't
<v Speaker 1>forgot the way that you big league meet at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>last year. So I'm gonna put you down. You tried
<v Speaker 1>to ruin my life right with that doomsday device on Saturday,
<v Speaker 1>almost broke his fucking neck. You tried to break my neck.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to break yours. I'm gonna put you down
<v Speaker 1>on your ass, and I'm going to prove that I'm
<v Speaker 1>the best in the world. Right, turning Punk's own slogan,
<v Speaker 1>his own catchphrase around on him. This promo was exactly
<v Speaker 1>what it needed to be. It was a money promo.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm glad that they are not making us wait
<v Speaker 1>for WrestleMania because everybody the last couple of days has
<v Speaker 1>been speculating about Okay, clearly they're going to do this match.
<v Speaker 1>When are they going to do the match? Right, Dave
<v Speaker 1>Meltzer the other Now that's the planned main event for
<v Speaker 1>one of the knights of WrestleMania next year, and who knows,
<v Speaker 1>maybe it is Maybe this is the first of many
<v Speaker 1>matches they're going to have. Remember a year ago, the
<v Speaker 1>debut Raw on Netflix. Do you remember what the main
<v Speaker 1>event of that show was. CM Punk was in that
<v Speaker 1>main event too. It was CM Punk against Seth Rollins.
<v Speaker 1>We got it on January sixth, right of this year,
<v Speaker 1>and we got it at WrestleMania, and we got it
<v Speaker 1>in a cage in between also, but they were in
<v Speaker 1>the main event at WrestleMania together with Roman Reigns. It
<v Speaker 1>was a triple threat match. We could very well be
<v Speaker 1>looking at a situation where if Seth Rollins is back
<v Speaker 1>in time for WrestleMania, we're gonna get bron Breaker, Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins and CM Punk. It'll be a triple threat match.
<v Speaker 1>It'll be like this year all over again, only you
<v Speaker 1>substitute bron Breaker for Roman Rains. That's a very possibility
<v Speaker 1>for one of the Knights of WrestleMania next year. But
<v Speaker 1>this is match number one. There's gonna be at least two.
<v Speaker 1>This is match number one between them on January fifth,
<v Speaker 1>and they're starting off the year with a big match, right,
<v Speaker 1>That's a big match to do on that show. Even
<v Speaker 1>if he doesn't win the title there, and there's a
<v Speaker 1>very good chance he does. But even if he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>win the championship on that show. They should run it
<v Speaker 1>back at the Royal Rumble. I really don't care to
<v Speaker 1>wait until WrestleMania to see that championship migrate over to
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker. I think the time is now. I thought
<v Speaker 1>the time was Saturday Nights made event. Frankly, after Seth
<v Speaker 1>got hurt, they chose to put it on Punk. I
<v Speaker 1>guess they wanted to get Punk the title run. They
<v Speaker 1>wanted to give the Punk fans out there because he
<v Speaker 1>got screwed over so many times. Right, Punk got fucked
<v Speaker 1>over at WrestleMania, he got fucked over at SummerSlam. We'll
<v Speaker 1>throw him a bone. We'll give Punk a little run
<v Speaker 1>with the belt. Fine, January fifth. If it's me, I'm
<v Speaker 1>doing a title change on that show. I'm starting the
<v Speaker 1>new year off in a way that just punches you
<v Speaker 1>in the fucking face and says, this is how you
<v Speaker 1>kick off a brand new year with a brand new
<v Speaker 1>world heavyweight champion. And I could absolutely see them holding
<v Speaker 1>off on the big reveal of the mystery Man until
<v Speaker 1>that show, and that person, right, whoever it is, that
<v Speaker 1>person factors into the finish of the match, could very
<v Speaker 1>well cost seem Punk the World Heavyweight championship. But they
<v Speaker 1>could very well run that match back at the Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble and have a non finish on that show. So
<v Speaker 1>either way, I'm glad we're not waiting for the first
<v Speaker 1>match until WrestleMania. I think bron Breaker, one way or
<v Speaker 1>the other is going to end up with that World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship, which makes sense, I think because if Seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins is going to come back and be a babyface
<v Speaker 1>or a tweeter, you know he's gonna be looking to
<v Speaker 1>get that belt back. He could try to get it
<v Speaker 1>back from bron Breaker. Bron Breaker is the one who
<v Speaker 1>kicked him out of the Vision. Frankly, it would make
<v Speaker 1>sense for him to end up with that World Championship
<v Speaker 1>no later than wrestlemaney So for bron Breaker again. The
<v Speaker 1>promo he cut tonight I thought was very good. Was
<v Speaker 1>it the best promo of the year. No, And he's
<v Speaker 1>not an elite level talk or the way that CM
<v Speaker 1>punk is, But this is the first time that I
<v Speaker 1>can recall where we've really been able to hear from
<v Speaker 1>him one on one in this way, and it was
<v Speaker 1>kind of an extended prom It wasn't too long, but
<v Speaker 1>it was more of an extended promo than we usually
<v Speaker 1>get from him, and he will get better over time,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the more comfortable he gets in that position.
<v Speaker 1>But this is the sort of thing I was hoping
<v Speaker 1>for after the turn on Rollins and we didn't get
<v Speaker 1>it then. So let's see more of that now. Let
<v Speaker 1>him go out there and let him just rip on people.
<v Speaker 1>He does it in his matches and it's entertaining. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he'll mock guys and try to be a little funny.
<v Speaker 1>It'd basically be a dick during his matches. I want
<v Speaker 1>to see him cut more promos like this, That's what
<v Speaker 1>I want to see. I thought this was great. In
<v Speaker 1>the back, Jay Usso was leaving the arena when Jackie
<v Speaker 1>Redmond tried to grab a word with him and asked
<v Speaker 1>him how he's feeling after his loss earlier tonight. Jay
<v Speaker 1>ignores her and keeps on walking, and Jackie is very persistent.
<v Speaker 1>She asks about the mass Man. No response. Then she
<v Speaker 1>lets j know that bron Breaker is now number one
<v Speaker 1>contender for the world title. Jay stops and he says,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to rip on him too much, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm watching him. I'm listening to him. I'm watching his
<v Speaker 1>facial expressions and I don't know if he was trying
<v Speaker 1>to act a certain way. It just came off very
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, it came up very awkward. But he's
<v Speaker 1>standing there and he says he doesn't give a damn
<v Speaker 1>about bron or the vision. There's a lot of and
<v Speaker 1>Jay's another one, by the way, He's not the only one,
<v Speaker 1>but he's another one who talks in soundbites during his promos,
<v Speaker 1>tries me nuts. He says there's a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>in his head that need to get out. Says the
<v Speaker 1>only person to blame though, is the man looking back
<v Speaker 1>at him in the mirror. Romans said it best. Those
<v Speaker 1>titles look best on his shoulders, not mine. He walked off.
<v Speaker 1>Are they trying to get us to sympathize with Jay Ussel,
<v Speaker 1>because at least in the case of this guy here,
<v Speaker 1>that ain't gonna work. You could try, you could try,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't know. I don't know how that's gonna
<v Speaker 1>go over. They're trying to build sympathy for this man.
<v Speaker 1>This man just had the best year of his career.
<v Speaker 1>He won the Royal Rumble, He went to WrestleMania and
<v Speaker 1>won the World Heavyweight Championship. He spent the majority of
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five as a main event attraction. Right, he
<v Speaker 1>was just a part of the war Games match again
<v Speaker 1>at Survivor Series. I mean, what is there to really
<v Speaker 1>feel sorry for him for? I mean, all right, he's
<v Speaker 1>had a couple of losses, so what, he just had
<v Speaker 1>the best year of his career. I don't feel sorry
<v Speaker 1>for him. I feel sorry for fucking La Night. That's
<v Speaker 1>what you should feel sorry for. I feel sorry for Penta,
<v Speaker 1>who got hurt last week and got bounced out of
<v Speaker 1>the tournament. Like there are people on the roster to
<v Speaker 1>feel and characters to feel sorry for. Jay Uso is
<v Speaker 1>not one of those people. You get no sympathy out
<v Speaker 1>of me. I'm sorry. And the other semi final match
<v Speaker 1>of the John Cena Last time is now tournament goth
<v Speaker 1>jay or we canna see jay Uso put some of
<v Speaker 1>that face Panthon and sit up in the in the rafters,
<v Speaker 1>be all solemn, be all sad. Anyway, Gunther against Solo Socoa.
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned Penta. Penta got hurt last week. I don't
<v Speaker 1>get the impression that Penta is seriously injured where he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be out for a long time. I haven't
<v Speaker 1>heard anything as far as when they expect him back.
<v Speaker 1>Penta got hurt last week, Solo Socoa got a win
<v Speaker 1>by default by forfeit, and I said, man, we were
<v Speaker 1>deprived of a Gunther Penta match here in the semi finals,
<v Speaker 1>because there's no way that they would intentionally book Gunther
<v Speaker 1>and Solo Socoa two heels to go to the semi
<v Speaker 1>finals of this tournament. And then Brian Alvarez and Sean
<v Speaker 1>Ross Sap and others said no, the plan was always
<v Speaker 1>for Solo to go over. I'm not so sure about that.
<v Speaker 1>But let's say, even if that's the case, why would
<v Speaker 1>you do that? Right? This the better of the two matches,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther and pent It. It just makes sense. So I didn't
<v Speaker 1>have very high expectations coming into this match. Wade Barrett
<v Speaker 1>suggested on commentary that beating John Cena in his final
<v Speaker 1>match would be the equivalent of ending the Undertaker's undefeated
<v Speaker 1>streak at Wrestlemany, which I'm not so sure I agree
<v Speaker 1>with that analogy. I know what he was going for.
<v Speaker 1>I get it. This version of John Cena is hardly unstoppable,
<v Speaker 1>so I don't know that I would go comparing the
<v Speaker 1>two that directly, but again, they're trying to get over
<v Speaker 1>what a big deal it is to be in the
<v Speaker 1>ring with John Cena in his final match, and it is.
<v Speaker 1>It's a big deal to be able to call yourself
<v Speaker 1>John Cena's last ever opponent, right, that is a big deal.
<v Speaker 1>Not a lot of heat for this early on, as
<v Speaker 1>you would imagine, with two heels in the ring, the
<v Speaker 1>two men exchange shoulder blocks. Solo Gunther down flat on
<v Speaker 1>his back. Gunther responded with the big boot that sent
<v Speaker 1>Solo out to the floor, and that sent the show
<v Speaker 1>to a commercial break. During the break, Taalatanga, who is
<v Speaker 1>a ring side he tripped up Gunther while he was
<v Speaker 1>trying to get back in the ring, and that allows
<v Speaker 1>Solo to take control with the always exciting nerve hold.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther started shopping away. He blocked the body slam attempt.
<v Speaker 1>He tried to slam Solo, but he couldn't hold him
<v Speaker 1>up and he fell backwards, so that allowed Solo to
<v Speaker 1>get a near fall. Solo went to the top rope
<v Speaker 1>and Gunther caught him with a chop superplexed him. Both
<v Speaker 1>men got to their feet. They started exchanging chops and strikes.
<v Speaker 1>Guntherer hit a boot Solo hit a super kick, neither
<v Speaker 1>man went down, So finally Solo hits a spike to
<v Speaker 1>the throat out of nowhere and both men are down
<v Speaker 1>again and the crowd now was really starting to come around.
<v Speaker 1>Now the crowd is starting to invest in this. After
<v Speaker 1>a second commercial break, hit gun Through with a running
<v Speaker 1>hip attack in the corner. He charged for a second
<v Speaker 1>one gun Through, They'll bounced out with a clothesline. Solo
<v Speaker 1>backdropped out of a power bomb attempt, but Gunther hit
<v Speaker 1>a second clothes line for a near fall. Gunther went
<v Speaker 1>for the power bomb again, Solo countered into a Samoan
<v Speaker 1>drop for a near fall, and now Solo is telegraphing
<v Speaker 1>that he is going for the Samoan spike. Gunther though,
<v Speaker 1>chopped him high on the chest. It was like a
<v Speaker 1>chop that came out of nowhere, and the way Solo
<v Speaker 1>sold it was great, and he followed with a flurry
<v Speaker 1>of chops in the corner like he's a fucking Kobashi
<v Speaker 1>over here. But then he walked into a spinning Solo
<v Speaker 1>the Uranagi. Solo headed up top, came flying off with
<v Speaker 1>a USO splash and he got a near fall. And
<v Speaker 1>now the crowd was really into this, like they bought
<v Speaker 1>into that near fall. I dare say, I could have
<v Speaker 1>sworn that. I even heard some Solo chance, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't think they were for me. I heard some so
<v Speaker 1>here there was some Gunther chants too, but there were
<v Speaker 1>definitely some mixed chance from the crowd. So CoA went
<v Speaker 1>for the spike again, Gunther spun behind him, he locked
<v Speaker 1>in the sleeper. Solo made it to the corner to
<v Speaker 1>force a break. Gunher, though, gave him a German suplex.
<v Speaker 1>So now Talatanga he got up on the apron. He
<v Speaker 1>lures Gunther to the floor, caught him with a boot
<v Speaker 1>to the face. And now Talatanga is holding Gunther for Solo,
<v Speaker 1>who comes outside, and Solo's gonna give him a samo
<v Speaker 1>and spike. The referee sees this and he comes over
<v Speaker 1>and he asks Solo if he thought he was stupid. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you're a referee, so do you really want
<v Speaker 1>him to answer that question? I don't think you do.
<v Speaker 1>So instead of delivering the samoan spike, Gunther kicks him
<v Speaker 1>in the face, kicks him away, and then Gunther lifts
<v Speaker 1>his leg behind him to low blow Taalatanga and they
<v Speaker 1>he grabs Solo Socoa's spike hand and he slams it
<v Speaker 1>down on the apron back inside. The referee was still
<v Speaker 1>occupied with Talatanga, and so because the referee was distracted,
<v Speaker 1>that gave Gunther an opportunity to kick Solo in the dick,
<v Speaker 1>which is something that we normally do not see Gunther doing.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is a man of honor, He's a man of integrity. Right,
<v Speaker 1>the ring is sacred, the mat is sacred. But now
<v Speaker 1>you do what you gotta do to get to the
<v Speaker 1>next round. And what's good for one is good for
<v Speaker 1>the other. I think even on commentary they said this
<v Speaker 1>is a battle of who's going to cheat best. So
<v Speaker 1>he kicks him in the dick, gives him a power bomb,
<v Speaker 1>and he pins him to advance to the finals of
<v Speaker 1>this tournament. La Knight comes out after the match is over,
<v Speaker 1>not to his music or anything. He just comes down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. He gets inside, the two of them
<v Speaker 1>go face to face. Gunther never said anything. La Knight
<v Speaker 1>did all the talking, and basically, you know, he talks
<v Speaker 1>some shit and said that it was impressive, but I
<v Speaker 1>don't really give a damn. I'm gonna drop you I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna beat you on Friday on SmackDown, and he left
<v Speaker 1>the ring without incident. There was no pull apart brawl.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther didn't respond. It was very straightforward stuff. Well, that
<v Speaker 1>exceeded my expectations. And I said this on Twitter during
<v Speaker 1>the show. Yeah, I said Gunther had to be a
<v Speaker 1>Maleman in another lifetime because every time this man is
<v Speaker 1>out there, he delivers. Every single match that he has
<v Speaker 1>had in this tournament has delivered Javon Evans, Carmelo, Hayes,
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa. Seamus says, banger after banger after banger, Well,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther could say the same name, banger after banger after banger,
<v Speaker 1>and I knew what to expect in those matches. I thought,
<v Speaker 1>I knew what to expect here in this match. That's
<v Speaker 1>kind of what I was worried about, that it was
<v Speaker 1>just gonna be. Yeah, I got two bigger guys in there,
<v Speaker 1>but like it's just gonna be a clash of styles
<v Speaker 1>and it's just not a very interesting match and it's
<v Speaker 1>heel on heel, and credit to both these guys. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to make it sound like it's all Gunther,
<v Speaker 1>Like the guy always has really good matches and so
<v Speaker 1>this was no different. He carried Solo to a great match.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther did his part, but so did Solo Soco. He
<v Speaker 1>held up his end of the deal. He had a
<v Speaker 1>very good match. I think, frankly the best singles match
<v Speaker 1>I've seen him have since he got called up to
<v Speaker 1>the main roster. He's been on the main roster now
<v Speaker 1>for three years, right twenty when was Clash at the
<v Speaker 1>Castle twenty two, right September twenty twenty two. I believe
<v Speaker 1>over three years he's been on the main roster. I
<v Speaker 1>can't think of another match, another singles match that he
<v Speaker 1>has had that was as enjoyable and is good is
<v Speaker 1>the one that he had with Gunther tonight. Sometimes it
<v Speaker 1>just comes down to who you're in the ring with.
<v Speaker 1>There was no story here. This was not about story.
<v Speaker 1>There's no storyline between these two. They're not even on
<v Speaker 1>the same fucking show. And if you don't believe the reports,
<v Speaker 1>it may not have even been originally planned. But it's
<v Speaker 1>the match we got tonight, and they just put them
<v Speaker 1>in there, and they just went in there and they
<v Speaker 1>just had a fight. They had a hoss fight, a
<v Speaker 1>lot of back and forth, a lot of near falls
<v Speaker 1>that the fans actually bid on, they bought into it,
<v Speaker 1>and it ended up being the best thing on the
<v Speaker 1>entire show. There's a very enjoyable match this It's great.
<v Speaker 1>So Gunther is moving on, which we all knew he
<v Speaker 1>would be. They're doing the finals on Friday on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is going to beat La Night. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what they do with La Knight. I don't get the
<v Speaker 1>sense that Triple H really has a great plan for
<v Speaker 1>where to go next with La Knight. And as over
<v Speaker 1>and popular as La Knight is, I wouldn't even be
<v Speaker 1>against the heel turn if it meant getting him more
<v Speaker 1>of a sustained push, if him going heel was going
<v Speaker 1>to put him in a better position where Okay, he's
<v Speaker 1>got all these babyfaces to work with, but we don't
<v Speaker 1>have a room for him to work with any heels
<v Speaker 1>right now. Than fine, turn him heel, do whatever needs
<v Speaker 1>to be done, because he can work as a babyface.
<v Speaker 1>He could work as a heel. Honestly, he's more of
<v Speaker 1>a heel. For being honest, he's a better heel than
<v Speaker 1>a babyface. But I don't know how this man is
<v Speaker 1>not in the mix doingmore, And I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>you're not tapping into his promo skills, right, forget even
<v Speaker 1>just the matches. Why is he not involved in something
<v Speaker 1>that puts him front and center on these shows on
<v Speaker 1>the mic, right, that's really his strong point. We're going
<v Speaker 1>into this new year, and I would like to think that, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>as we head into twenty twenty six, right, we've got
<v Speaker 1>to come up with a great idea for what direction
<v Speaker 1>we're going to go in with this guy and get
<v Speaker 1>him involved somewhere. I don't know where that is, but
<v Speaker 1>I would hope that can come up with some sort
<v Speaker 1>of plan for him. I am shocked that he is
<v Speaker 1>still as over as he is despite them failing to
<v Speaker 1>really do much of anything with him, and I think
<v Speaker 1>it speaks to, you know, whatever this connection is that
<v Speaker 1>he has with the audience. Right, He clearly has some
<v Speaker 1>sort of connection with the fans, but they just don't
<v Speaker 1>tap into it enough. They got their guys that are
<v Speaker 1>in the world title picture right now, and so there's
<v Speaker 1>no room for him. There doesn't even have to be
<v Speaker 1>in the world title Picture. But for the love of God,
<v Speaker 1>can we come up with something worthwhile, you know, for
<v Speaker 1>him to do? I mean, when they had Matt Cardona
<v Speaker 1>show up on SmackDown a few weeks ago as a
<v Speaker 1>Zach Ryder and La and I beat him, and then
<v Speaker 1>La and I confronted him in the back. This was
<v Speaker 1>like a YouTube thing, and you basically said, hey, it's good.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if you're going or coming, but it's
<v Speaker 1>good to see you right, good to have you back.
<v Speaker 1>And there's a joke about how you put the two
<v Speaker 1>together and make them a new tag team and call
<v Speaker 1>them Night Rider, which sounds silly as all hell, but
<v Speaker 1>you know what, like even something like that, I think
<v Speaker 1>that could work. I think that could work. Can you imagine,
<v Speaker 1>Like they end up getting together as a team. Knight
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really want to have anything to do with this guy,
<v Speaker 1>but somehow they end up being a team, And it's
<v Speaker 1>one of those things where as the weeks go on,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he's kind of annoyed by Rider, doesn't really
<v Speaker 1>want to have anything to do with him, but then
<v Speaker 1>they he kind of warms up to him, and even
<v Speaker 1>something like that could get over And then coming out
<v Speaker 1>of that, you know, who knows where you may go
<v Speaker 1>with him, Like I'm just trying to come up with something,
<v Speaker 1>you know, that would get him out there you know
<v Speaker 1>on television every single week doing just something on these shows.
<v Speaker 1>I just I hope, I hope they can come up
<v Speaker 1>with something. Yeah, like rock and sock. I mean it's
<v Speaker 1>the same idea, like a rock and sock type of dynamic.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's not going to please all the La
<v Speaker 1>Night fans, who of course want to see him as
<v Speaker 1>the world heavyweight champion if you put him in a
<v Speaker 1>fucking tag team. But I just hope, I hope they
<v Speaker 1>can come up with something for him to do. That's
<v Speaker 1>all I can say in the back. And by the way,
<v Speaker 1>there's a whole segment from the podcast this weekend and
<v Speaker 1>the clip is up on the YouTube channel right now.
<v Speaker 1>As far as Gunther against John Cena on Saturday Nights
<v Speaker 1>Made Event, I think that there have been so many
<v Speaker 1>missteps along the way in this John Cena retirement tour.
<v Speaker 1>There's been some great stuff and there's been a lot
<v Speaker 1>of not so great stuff. And when you have somebody
<v Speaker 1>that you are calling the greatest of all time, right
<v Speaker 1>that's what they call him, the greatest of all time,
<v Speaker 1>you would think that with all the advance notice that
<v Speaker 1>they had that John Cena was wrestling his final year
<v Speaker 1>this year, Triple H knew about this, right at least
<v Speaker 1>six months in advance. You would think that this is
<v Speaker 1>the one thing we would not fuck up. So it
<v Speaker 1>is hard to fathom the fucking mistakes that they made
<v Speaker 1>along the way here in this retirement tour and the
<v Speaker 1>matches we didn't get even though they had a year
<v Speaker 1>to do all these different matches. I know they had
<v Speaker 1>him for limited dates, but still, but like he just
<v Speaker 1>lost that Survivor series to Dom, he got screwed out
<v Speaker 1>of the Intercontinental Championship. He's going into his final match.
<v Speaker 1>I am coming around to the idea that the best
<v Speaker 1>thing to do, frankly, give the guy a win. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>John Cena does not need to win. He doesn't need
<v Speaker 1>a win, and yes, Gunther beating him would be a
<v Speaker 1>nice feather in his cap. Right. He retired Bill Goldberg,
<v Speaker 1>and he could say I did the same thing to
<v Speaker 1>John Cena. But you know what, just because you can
<v Speaker 1>doesn't mean you should. And no matter who wins or
<v Speaker 1>loses here, no one's really gonna get hurt by it.
<v Speaker 1>John Cena's bulletproof is his last match. If he loses,
<v Speaker 1>he loses. Right. If you think that John Cena is
<v Speaker 1>the greatest of all time. Him losing his last match
<v Speaker 1>isn't going to change anything about that. John Cena winning, though,
<v Speaker 1>would give the fans that happy moment that I think
<v Speaker 1>a lot of them are looking for here at the
<v Speaker 1>very end, after having some not so happy moments. Frankly
<v Speaker 1>on this retirement tour, including Saturday, I think John Cena
<v Speaker 1>beating Gunther Frankly is probably just in terms of giving
<v Speaker 1>the fans what they want, that's the way to go.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be the proper ending after all this.
<v Speaker 1>Let the guy get a fucking win. Let Dominic Mysterio
<v Speaker 1>go around and be able to say, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>I may not have been the last opponent, but I
<v Speaker 1>was the last guy to actually beat John Cena. Gunther
<v Speaker 1>could use it, sure, but he doesn't need it, right,
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't really need it. Unless the idea is to
<v Speaker 1>do Gunther and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania Brock squash Seena
<v Speaker 1>at Wressell Palooza. If Gunther beats Seena at Saturday night's
<v Speaker 1>main event, now you have the battle between two guys
<v Speaker 1>who could say they both beat John Cena. Maybe that's
<v Speaker 1>the idea behind it. I don't know. I'm just saying, though,
<v Speaker 1>for all of this nonsense that we've seen, I'm a
<v Speaker 1>lot more open to the idea of seeing a winning
<v Speaker 1>than I would have been a few months ago, where
<v Speaker 1>if you would have told me, oh, Seena has to win,
<v Speaker 1>I would have been like, what are you out of
<v Speaker 1>your fucking mind. Now I'm coming around to the idea that,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, we probably should just let the fans
<v Speaker 1>have that moment. Just let them have that moment. Just
<v Speaker 1>imagine how bum they'll fucking be if, after what we
<v Speaker 1>saw on Saturday, he goes in there and loses again,
<v Speaker 1>you know what I mean. So, I don't know, throw
<v Speaker 1>them a bone sometimes it's just the right thing to do.
<v Speaker 1>In the back, Adam Pierce met again with his mole
<v Speaker 1>Eddie Orango, who said that he didn't find out anything
<v Speaker 1>new about the mass Man other than a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people say they saw Seth Rollins backstage on Saturday. AJ
<v Speaker 1>Styles and Dragon Lee they arrived on the scene here
<v Speaker 1>in Styles let Pierce know that Seth Rollins was seen
<v Speaker 1>running around without his arm and a sling. But really
<v Speaker 1>Aj is here because he wants to let Pierce know.
<v Speaker 1>The two of them they want to defend their tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles, and Pierce says I like hearing that. When
<v Speaker 1>he goes next week, he's like against who and Dragon
<v Speaker 1>Lee butts in and he recommends the war Raiders because
<v Speaker 1>the war Raiders never got their rematch for the World
<v Speaker 1>Tag Team time. Are we sure about that? By the way,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not so sure they didn't get their rematch, but
<v Speaker 1>it claimed that they never got their rematch for the titles. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I want to point out to you that these are
<v Speaker 1>the titles that the war Raiders lost. Okay, at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>eight months ago. Oh, they never got their rematch. I
<v Speaker 1>think they deserve a shot at the titles. It's that
<v Speaker 1>they woke up out of a fucking coma and they's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>wait a minute, the war Raiders never got their rematch.
<v Speaker 1>We should probably give them a rematch eight months later
<v Speaker 1>for the tag team titles. Okay, so we have a
<v Speaker 1>tag team title match next week. What was the last
<v Speaker 1>time we even saw the war Raiders on TV? Like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm struggling to even remember when. When was the last
<v Speaker 1>time we saw them on Monday Night Raw? But I
<v Speaker 1>guess aj Styles and dragon Ly they're fighting champions. And also,
<v Speaker 1>let's be honest, they don't have a lot of other
<v Speaker 1>teams in the division. They beat the New Day, They're
<v Speaker 1>gonna wrestle the war Raiders. We know the Judgment Day
<v Speaker 1>are there, bron Breaker and Bronson Read They're not really
<v Speaker 1>a regular tag team. I don't count them. What other
<v Speaker 1>teams am I missing? What are the teams are there
<v Speaker 1>on Monday Night Raw that I'm missing? Ray, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>there must be one or two that I'm not thinking of.
<v Speaker 1>It's not like there's a whole lot of competition in
<v Speaker 1>that tag team division. You gotta be careful. You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>burn through every potential challenger that you have if they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna to be defending these titles every single week. On
<v Speaker 1>TV Raymistereo, he spoke with Jackie Redman backstage, who told
<v Speaker 1>him that he would be wrestling Finn Balor on the
<v Speaker 1>show next week. Ray said that he had no problem
<v Speaker 1>going through the Judgment Day one member at a time
<v Speaker 1>before he gets to his son. The Creeds. Now, the
<v Speaker 1>Creeds don't count. The Creeds have not been on Raw
<v Speaker 1>for months and months that they're in like fucking NXT,
<v Speaker 1>aren't they, Dude? Are the Creeds even officially members of
<v Speaker 1>the roster anymore. Remember what Chad Gable said when he
<v Speaker 1>got hurt and he was leaving, and he said, you
<v Speaker 1>guys have to hold down the fort. And then all
<v Speaker 1>the members of Alpha Academy basically vanished. They just disappeared.
<v Speaker 1>They did such a terrible job of doing what Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable asked them to do, they just disappeared. Only recently
<v Speaker 1>his IV Nile even reappeared. What an awful faction. I
<v Speaker 1>would fire them all if I were Chad Gable. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they're on Raw. Okay, Well, maybe it's a different app
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's a different company hosting a different episode of Raw.
<v Speaker 1>Because I can't tell you the last time I saw
<v Speaker 1>the Creeds on Monday Night, ros, So I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what show you're watching, and I don't give a show
<v Speaker 1>what the roster page says. But they haven't been on
<v Speaker 1>the show. They ain't part of the show. I ain't
<v Speaker 1>counting them as part of the tag team division. So
<v Speaker 1>you basically just answered my question for me. There are
<v Speaker 1>no other teams the LWO. Okay, the LWO. That's about it.
<v Speaker 1>That's a piss poor tag team division right there. Jackie
<v Speaker 1>asked Ray about whether he would be interested in making
<v Speaker 1>another run at the Intercontinental title, which of course he
<v Speaker 1>said he would. So that's when Logan Paul showed up
<v Speaker 1>and told Ray that the title belongs to the Vision,
<v Speaker 1>told Ray that he needed to step back, and then
<v Speaker 1>Ray called Logan a pendejo. This just makes me laugh,
<v Speaker 1>and Paul said that he would retire Ray, who then
<v Speaker 1>slapped him across the face, and some producers got in
<v Speaker 1>between them to hold both men back. The main event
<v Speaker 1>was Rhea Ripley and EO Sky against Charlotte Flair and
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss. The match started and almost immediately went to
<v Speaker 1>a commercial. After the break, Ripley had Bliss locked in
<v Speaker 1>a submission that Bliss was able to escape. Rhea then
<v Speaker 1>accidentally collided with Charlotte and sent her to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Eo then caught Bliss with a flapjack Ripley and Flair
<v Speaker 1>they ended up getting tags, and they really built this
<v Speaker 1>up like, oh, here we go, I big wrestle media
<v Speaker 1>rematch here. So they started exchanging forearms. Flair went to
<v Speaker 1>the chops to get the advantage. Finally, Ripley ducked the
<v Speaker 1>chop and caught Flair with a head butt. Flair sent
<v Speaker 1>Riley into the turnbuckles. Rhea, though, caught Charlotte with a
<v Speaker 1>kick and both women were down. So after another commercial,
<v Speaker 1>flare sent Ripley to the floor, but EO caught her
<v Speaker 1>with a Meteora Ripley came in and tried to lift
<v Speaker 1>up Charlotte in the power bomb position, but she over
<v Speaker 1>rotated and both women fell down. Oops. So Ripley picked
<v Speaker 1>her back up. They redid the spot. She gave Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>a razor's edge, which Charlotte proceeded to no sell when
<v Speaker 1>she immediately got back up to her feet so that
<v Speaker 1>she could feed for EO's missile drop kick because EO
<v Speaker 1>was perched up top ready to drop. I mean, Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>had no choice. She had to get back up to
<v Speaker 1>her feet because EO was on top waiting for But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>she just completely blew off the razor's edge there. Ripley
<v Speaker 1>went for a riptide flare, countered into a DDT bliss,
<v Speaker 1>got the tag and hit another DDT for a near fall.
<v Speaker 1>You know, OURVD used to be the king of the
<v Speaker 1>DDT cell really the pile driver. Pile driver sell. But
<v Speaker 1>I will say this Ria is the queen. Every DDT
<v Speaker 1>that this woman takes, She sells it like death, doesn't
<v Speaker 1>matter who is giving it to her, doesn't matter from
<v Speaker 1>what position it's delivered in. She gets spiked, it looks
<v Speaker 1>like right on the crown of her head, and she
<v Speaker 1>just sells it great. There's nobody who sells a DDT
<v Speaker 1>in wrestling today better than Rio Ripley, So Alexa went
<v Speaker 1>for Twisted Bliss. Ripley got her knees up, Flare and
<v Speaker 1>Eo got tags. Flair put her down with a boot
<v Speaker 1>hit natural selection. Bliss followed up with Sister Abigail, but
<v Speaker 1>Ripley broke up the pin attempt. Bliss tried for Sister
<v Speaker 1>Abigail again the DDT, but Ripley escaped and hit a
<v Speaker 1>head butt, which is unfair by the way, because she's
<v Speaker 1>wearing that mask, she should not be allowed to do that.
<v Speaker 1>Ria hit riptide. Eo followed up with her Genius of
<v Speaker 1>the Sky Moon Salt, but Flair broke up the pin
<v Speaker 1>attempt and with everybody down, the Kabooki Warriors hit the
<v Speaker 1>ring to ruin things. They came down, attacked Charlotte dumped
<v Speaker 1>her to the floor. Then they sent Ripley into the
<v Speaker 1>post and sent her to the floor, and they rang
<v Speaker 1>the bell and they threw the match out. So that
<v Speaker 1>was the end of our main event. Whether it was
<v Speaker 1>a disqualification, I assume it's just a no contest. That's
<v Speaker 1>how they always basically end these matches. It's just a
<v Speaker 1>no contest. It's like the match never even happened. Lyra,
<v Speaker 1>Valkyria and Bailey they ran out to attack the champions.
<v Speaker 1>Then the women from the Judgment Day ran out. They
<v Speaker 1>attacked everybody. Lyra was standing on top of the announced
<v Speaker 1>that she was about to hit a move on somebody,
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan. They came out of the crowd. I guess
<v Speaker 1>and Live Morgan swept her legs, yanked her legs out
<v Speaker 1>from under her in the ring where Cal Rodriguez gave
<v Speaker 1>Oscar the Tahanabaum. Roxanne hit Bailey with pop rocks, Rodriguez
<v Speaker 1>and Perez grab the tag team belts. Live gets in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and Roxanne looks at her and goes to
<v Speaker 1>hand her one of the tag belts, and Live looks
<v Speaker 1>at Roxanne and she says, no, you take it, so
<v Speaker 1>she allows Roxanne to have the belt. Live stands in
<v Speaker 1>between them and everything is great. In the Judgment Day,
<v Speaker 1>everybody's on the same page. The Judgment Day, the ladies
<v Speaker 1>of the Judgment Day stand tall liv Morgan gets up
<v Speaker 1>in the camera. That's the parting shot that we got
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the show. She's smiling, she's cackling,
<v Speaker 1>and that's how Row goes off the air. Live appeared
<v Speaker 1>in three different segments on this show tonight. She was
<v Speaker 1>out there for the Judgment Day meeting in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>she was there at the end of the show. That's
<v Speaker 1>the last face that we saw, and also that backstage
<v Speaker 1>segment brief as it was with Stephanie Vaquierre, So she
<v Speaker 1>was all over the show tonight. They were having a
<v Speaker 1>good one here in the main event until the finish,
<v Speaker 1>and obviously we had a shitty finish there, but they
<v Speaker 1>put a very clear focus on the women's tag team division,
<v Speaker 1>which was good. We have we have five different teams
<v Speaker 1>out there that were represented, and I think if you
<v Speaker 1>throw in the secret hervis, we basically only have six
<v Speaker 1>teams on the main roster. I mean not counting you know,
<v Speaker 1>Sol Ruka and Zaria or anybody from NXT, which technically
<v Speaker 1>I guess you should count them though, because well you
<v Speaker 1>know what, I guess you should because technically those tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles can be defended across all brands. So you
<v Speaker 1>got Sol Ruka and Zaria I guess on SmackDown. Now
<v Speaker 1>you've got Naya Jackson Lash Legend, right, So that would
<v Speaker 1>make seven, No, that would make eight. All of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>we have a division here. Look at that. We actually
<v Speaker 1>have a tag team division, a real division here for
<v Speaker 1>these women's tag team titles. I count eight teams. If
<v Speaker 1>you include you know, nxt in in things, and that
<v Speaker 1>doesn't even include fatal Influence if you want to throw
<v Speaker 1>them in there too, that's nine. So I like that
<v Speaker 1>they put a focus on that there at the end,
<v Speaker 1>but they are clearly holding off on any drama between
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan and Roxanne Perez. There there were no issues
<v Speaker 1>before would Live and Raquel. The issue was really percolating
<v Speaker 1>between Living Roxane before Live got hurt, and they never
<v Speaker 1>really had the chance to blow that up into something bigger.
<v Speaker 1>So that's what I was looking for on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>and they're not doing it, you know, which is a
<v Speaker 1>shame because it would make the judgment day segments a
<v Speaker 1>little more interesting. But you know it's fine to me.
<v Speaker 1>Is she just came back, So they're basically starting from scratch.
<v Speaker 1>They want to tell that story and build to whatever
<v Speaker 1>the issues are going to end up being. That will
<v Speaker 1>eventually boil over between the members of the Judgment day.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't really have too much of an issue
<v Speaker 1>with that. But if Raquel and Rock Sand are bound
<v Speaker 1>for the tag team titles, let's say that they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>make those titles. Clearly, you saw that at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show tonight, right, They're gonna make those titles
<v Speaker 1>their target. That does not leave Stephanie Vicaire with a
<v Speaker 1>whole lot in the way of competition for her Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship because at Survivor Series she beat Nicki Bella handily.
<v Speaker 1>It was one and done right, no more between Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>and Nicki Bella. Been there, done that, Thanks for coming.
<v Speaker 1>So now with Nicki in the rear view, it felt
<v Speaker 1>like we were heading towards Stephanie and Raquel, maybe Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>and rock Sand. I mean, I guess they still could,
<v Speaker 1>but let's assume they're gonna focus on the Tag belts.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, is liv Morgan really the only option that
<v Speaker 1>we have here? I mean, there are they going to
<v Speaker 1>go right into Live Morgan, which they certainly teased it,
<v Speaker 1>but are they going to go right into Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>challenging Stephanie for the Women's World Championship. She just came back.
<v Speaker 1>She hasn't even wrestled the match yet. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that I would go immediately, you know, into that as
<v Speaker 1>a program, But I feel like we're kind of trending
<v Speaker 1>towards what we have on Friday, where Jade Cargill has
<v Speaker 1>that WWE Championship and not a whole lot of competition
<v Speaker 1>for it. So I don't know what their plans are
<v Speaker 1>as far as Stephanie's next feud, if they really are
<v Speaker 1>just going immediately into Live, or if they'll go at
<v Speaker 1>one of the other members of the Judgment Day, which
<v Speaker 1>is what I would do. I mean, I would go
<v Speaker 1>into Stephanie and Roxanne, So we'll see where things go there. Stephanie,
<v Speaker 1>her time on these shows is very, very limited. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I understand that, you know her English, she's working on
<v Speaker 1>her English, and so she's not going to be out
<v Speaker 1>there cutting these long promos. But you know, she is
<v Speaker 1>one of your top champions on the brand. She is
<v Speaker 1>very popular, and I just feel like she's almost hidden
<v Speaker 1>away on these shows. Even in the leadup to when
<v Speaker 1>she beat EO to win the championship, we barely saw
<v Speaker 1>her on TV, and ever since she won the championship,
<v Speaker 1>it feels like we barely see her on TV. She's
<v Speaker 1>not really all that heavily focused on. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>a problem. If she's your Women's World Champion, then she
<v Speaker 1>should be on the show in a more prominent way,
<v Speaker 1>whether it's wrestling matches in the ring, whether it's just
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, coming out and doing commentary and scouting
<v Speaker 1>potential opponents, whatever it may be. I'd like to see
<v Speaker 1>her more often on these shows and more heavily focused on.
<v Speaker 1>But as far as the show overall, I thought it
<v Speaker 1>was a good show. It was not an epic show,
<v Speaker 1>but we had a really good match with Gunther and
<v Speaker 1>Solo Socoa. We had a good tag team main event
<v Speaker 1>with a good focus on the women's tag division. We
<v Speaker 1>had a great promo from bron Breaker, the big announcement
<v Speaker 1>of the World Championship match coming up on January fifth,
<v Speaker 1>So there was good stuff. It was good stuff on
<v Speaker 1>this show that can now build as we head into
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble season. That's the next pl e everybody, the
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble the very end of January. We still have
<v Speaker 1>how many weeks? Nine weeks? We got ways to go
<v Speaker 1>before we get to the rumble. But of course we
<v Speaker 1>have a Saturday Night's main event first, that's coming up
<v Speaker 1>on December thirteenth. Let's take a look at the Twitter, Polsey,
<v Speaker 1>what you guys thought of Monday Night Raw after a
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series. We got over seventeen hundred poppin here on
<v Speaker 1>a Monday Night Fifty six point three percent thumbs up,
<v Speaker 1>forty three point seven percent look at that changing in
<v Speaker 1>real time, forty three point eight percent thumbs down. Slightly
<v Speaker 1>positive score. Not a terribly overwhelmingly positive score there, but
<v Speaker 1>more thumbs up than thumbs down for the show. So
<v Speaker 1>at Solo Monster on x it is where you guys
<v Speaker 1>can go to vote. Let me know what you thought
<v Speaker 1>of the show tonight, Bland Dry Chicken in Turkey. I
<v Speaker 1>got a chance to hear you and everybody else review
<v Speaker 1>the Survivor series. My thoughts. I'm glad aw blooding guts
<v Speaker 1>killed my interest. Also, Triple H was never an impartial booker.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't care about WWE. He's only talking within his
<v Speaker 1>own best interest. He needs a six month paid vacation
<v Speaker 1>Sidrow with a five new autopsies discover Albert Einstein died
<v Speaker 1>of a blood clot in the brain. It was a
<v Speaker 1>stroke of genius. What do you call karate for? Ah,
<v Speaker 1>that's terrible amputees, partial partial arts. Oh my god, Sidrow, Sidrow,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta take SPF one hundred. You keep going down
<v Speaker 1>this road. That's where you're gonna be head at Cidra.
<v Speaker 1>Why is it prohibited to do the reverse cowgirl in Alabacy? No,
<v Speaker 1>you can't take my joke. You cannot take my joke.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not letting you steal it. I said it first.
<v Speaker 1>You stole my joke. You can't do that. I've already
<v Speaker 1>used that joke here on the show before I used
<v Speaker 1>it on TNT. Also, you got it from me. He's
<v Speaker 1>stealing my jokes. Did you hear about the guy who
<v Speaker 1>dipped his balls in glitter? Pretty nuts? And it's pretty nuts? Yeah, sure,
<v Speaker 1>you thief? Here a joke, thief. It's terrible. Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>I'm ture, I'm trying to refresh the list. Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go. Great Raw shout out to the Raw
<v Speaker 1>Women's division. That's from C's with a dollar ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you sees he pulled up Carlos Mencia. That's exactly
<v Speaker 1>what he did. He pulled a Carlos Mencia on me.
<v Speaker 1>You're stealing my material. Sidrow, you could say Solo had
<v Speaker 1>a monster showing tonight. Now now he's trying to suck
<v Speaker 1>up to me. Elijah with a nine ninety nine bronze
<v Speaker 1>promo gave me kind of an old school feel with it.
<v Speaker 1>One of those fiery, energetic promos fueled by testosterone and
<v Speaker 1>booger sugar that we don't get anymore in WWE. Well,
<v Speaker 1>there was no booger sugar involved in this promo, although
<v Speaker 1>I will tell you I do miss the old booger
<v Speaker 1>sugar promos. They don't make wrestling promo like they used to.
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling promos in general are just so much worse now
<v Speaker 1>than they used to be. It's one thing that I
<v Speaker 1>find very sad. It's a lost art. It really is
<v Speaker 1>like the new stuff in terms of promos, the new
<v Speaker 1>stuff really just does not compare to the old stuff.
<v Speaker 1>It just doesn't. It just doesn't. Elijah Benedict, because we
<v Speaker 1>have two different elijahs, none of whom are from TNA.
<v Speaker 1>Mister raw Tonay glad I have you to help keep
<v Speaker 1>me updated. I'm always here to keep you updated. You
<v Speaker 1>can always rely on me. We got Crackbone to the
<v Speaker 1>Cousin solo with a forty dollars super shot. That's the
<v Speaker 1>sick Oh super shot. My best friend Alex is a
<v Speaker 1>huge fan and listens every week. He turns thirty three
<v Speaker 1>this Wednesday. Can he get a birthday shout out? Much
<v Speaker 1>loss from Daniel and Dutch. Alex is a frequent visitor
<v Speaker 1>here on the streams. Alex is a good guy, and
<v Speaker 1>I want to take this opportunity to wish him a
<v Speaker 1>very happy birthday thirty three. With that on Wednesday, maybe
<v Speaker 1>he'll celebrate with us on the Dynamite post show. But anyway, Alex,
<v Speaker 1>wherever you may be, I wish you a very happy birthday.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that you can do something more exciting than
<v Speaker 1>just watching Dynamite at home. But if that's what you're doing,
<v Speaker 1>hopefully you'll be able to join. But happy birthday, brother Sidrow.
<v Speaker 1>If Dom is an ex con, does it make him
<v Speaker 1>the ex condom the ex condom? Yes, very good, I
<v Speaker 1>guess it would. I guess it would make him a
<v Speaker 1>rubber Yes, And we hit the bonus goal fifteen out
<v Speaker 1>of fifteen, which unlocks a second round of be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>You'd love to see it, of course I say that. Now,
<v Speaker 1>let's see what matches I book. I may not feel
<v Speaker 1>that same way after we're done. Duff's VID's a fire
<v Speaker 1>broke out at a dispensary and the smoke blew to
<v Speaker 1>a cow farm nearby. The stakes were high retro koh
<v Speaker 1>I disagree. Tonight was epic La Night beat Jay. He won.
<v Speaker 1>That shocked me. Yes, you know what, You make a
<v Speaker 1>good point there. Actually La Night winning that match tonight,
<v Speaker 1>that was pretty epic and unexpected. That's the closest thing
<v Speaker 1>we got to epic on the show tonight, an actual
<v Speaker 1>La Night win over Jay usogallin'. He's balling. He's not
<v Speaker 1>just balling, he's balling with a nine ninety nine. What
<v Speaker 1>is Jacob Fatou? What does Jacob Fatu shout when he
<v Speaker 1>finds a golf shirt that he likes? I love you, Polo, Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>I just want to contribute to the bonus goal. Love you, Solo.
<v Speaker 1>You know some more like that. You might be giving
<v Speaker 1>Sidrow a run for his money. That one's not bad. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I love you polo is not terrible. It's not thank
<v Speaker 1>you Dove's VIDs. My grandpa has two jobs, one on
<v Speaker 1>a train and one in an orchestra. He's a semiconductor Alexander.
<v Speaker 1>You know what is going to be said, Zoe Stark
<v Speaker 1>is going to eventually come back, be put in the
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental title picture to no Fai and fair sadly, yes,
<v Speaker 1>I think you are right, but that's up to them.
<v Speaker 1>Give her some vignettes like they're giving to Maxine Dupree.
<v Speaker 1>Give people a reason to get invested with her. Tell
<v Speaker 1>the story of her comeback. She went through a horrendous injury,
<v Speaker 1>like just a devastating, brutal injury. That has to be
<v Speaker 1>part of her comeback story. That's a real thing, that's
<v Speaker 1>a real story. That's how you get people behind her,
<v Speaker 1>that's how you get people invested in her instead of
<v Speaker 1>just bringing her back as a heel on TV. Right,
<v Speaker 1>you tell that story and let her do the rest,
<v Speaker 1>and hopefully that'll be enough for her to actually get over.
<v Speaker 1>But if they don't do that, then yeah, people aren't
<v Speaker 1>gonna care. She'll come out to crickets and nobody will care.
<v Speaker 1>The moldy cheeseburger I think both WWE and AW need
<v Speaker 1>to put both war games and blood and guts on
<v Speaker 1>ice for a while. It's already overused, much like Hell
<v Speaker 1>and Itsel every year on every show. It needs a break.
<v Speaker 1>Save it for when you have the right story to
<v Speaker 1>support it. That's what I say. JDFVA, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>the two bucks brother Duff's bids. What is the opposite
<v Speaker 1>of Parkin's son drive in Daughter? Well, you really worked
<v Speaker 1>hard for that one, didn't you. You didn't get it.
<v Speaker 1>You didn't get there. But I could tell that that one.
<v Speaker 1>It took some It took some work, It took some
<v Speaker 1>thinking that one, but it didn't hit the mark for me.
<v Speaker 1>There's Alex, alex Is with us, Alex with a five.
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday, Alex. It's a little early, but happy birthday.
<v Speaker 1>There was nothing epic about this garbage ass show. I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>solo A Triple H has to go. This guy is
<v Speaker 1>doing an awful freakin' job. Well, there you go. We
<v Speaker 1>know we have one person here who will not support
<v Speaker 1>Triple H and his role as the chief content officer.
<v Speaker 1>Triple H must go. Well, then who takes his spot?
<v Speaker 1>Do you pull? Seawn Michaels up from NXT. If not,
<v Speaker 1>who gets a spot? Bruce? You gotta have a plan. B.
<v Speaker 1>Who's the plan? B? Paul Hayman, James Griffin, Hello, Solomon Ster.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to ask you, did the hubris if Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman cost ECW to fold? I guess he means cause
<v Speaker 1>ECW to fold. Also, with WCW and WWE be successful
<v Speaker 1>on networks like NBC or CBS during the Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>War wrestling was super popular back then. They would not
<v Speaker 1>have lasted it on network television unless they adjusted their content,
<v Speaker 1>and mainly I'm talking about WWF and the Attitude era.
<v Speaker 1>They would have had to adjust their content accordingly and
<v Speaker 1>that would have I think, affected their popularity to a degree.
<v Speaker 1>So I think they could have made it work, but
<v Speaker 1>I think that era would have looked quite different. But
<v Speaker 1>I think it could have been successful. It wasn't successful
<v Speaker 1>just because of the gratuitous shit that they were doing.
<v Speaker 1>So yes, the answer is, yes, you could have made
<v Speaker 1>it work, but it would have looked very different. Did
<v Speaker 1>the hubris of Paul Hayman cause ECW to fold? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>I think in many ways it did. I mean he's
<v Speaker 1>talked about money that was owed to them by acclaim
<v Speaker 1>the video game company, and you know, he points to
<v Speaker 1>other things where they could have continued on if this
<v Speaker 1>would have just gone differently, and that would have gone differently.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, he did a lot of He did
<v Speaker 1>a lot of bad shit. You know. You hear about
<v Speaker 1>those stories about like Chris Candido and Tammy Sitch and
<v Speaker 1>putting stuff on their own credit card, And I think,
<v Speaker 1>what was this story about how they lost their home
<v Speaker 1>as a result of it? Like there was some really
<v Speaker 1>shady ass shit going on. And I'd say hubris is
<v Speaker 1>probably a good word for it. Yeah, I would say,
<v Speaker 1>so stuff's VIDs. I lost my job as as a
<v Speaker 1>massage therapist. Apparently I rub people the wrong way. You
<v Speaker 1>gotta be careful. If you rub people the wrong way,
<v Speaker 1>you can go to jail for that. Thank you, duffs
<v Speaker 1>Andre Jefferson. Where the hell is Santos Escobar? Guy's got
<v Speaker 1>the best job in the world. He was ready to bounce.
<v Speaker 1>He called their bluff. They came back at him with
<v Speaker 1>a much bigger contract. And he's just sitting at home, chilling,
<v Speaker 1>just waiting for that phone call. He's getting a nice
<v Speaker 1>paid vacation. We should all be so lucky as Santos
<v Speaker 1>Escobar is right now, Libido bell with a five dollars
<v Speaker 1>super chat. I seen a couple of outsiders that were
<v Speaker 1>on the run. They were hauling ass. Beato got jokes too.
<v Speaker 1>Bobby means after tonight, WWE has essentially no choice but
<v Speaker 1>to put the title on bron Breaker. If they don't,
<v Speaker 1>it would be a huge l that live in Vicaire
<v Speaker 1>stare down. He's got the little eyemoji. Yeah. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's the biggest match right now that they have set
<v Speaker 1>up for that Women's Championship. I just I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that I would immediately go into it though, but they've
<v Speaker 1>set that up up as a big match to do
<v Speaker 1>really at the start of next year. Maybe even that
<v Speaker 1>first raw in Brooklyn, they may set that up as
<v Speaker 1>a title match too. On that show Live Morgan against
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Vacaer Matt Fisher, why is Arnold making decisions? Because
<v Speaker 1>he is determinator? Where do you where do you come
<v Speaker 1>up with some of these? He's the determinator. Also, Matt says,
<v Speaker 1>why did the football coach go to the bank to
<v Speaker 1>get his quarterback? You go to the bank to get
<v Speaker 1>a quarter or things? Really that bad? The Shawnathan, your
<v Speaker 1>co host, had a good question, where is the Triple
<v Speaker 1>H from NXT Black and Gold or even twenty twenty four?
<v Speaker 1>I wonder if creative is more for TKO. Booking for
<v Speaker 1>the main roster is very different than booking for NXT.
<v Speaker 1>It is not the same thing. And as far as
<v Speaker 1>booking for TKO, yeah, I'm sure there are certain things
<v Speaker 1>TKO likes and Triple H knows it. Nick con knows it.
<v Speaker 1>They all you know know it. His lieutenants bruce everybody,
<v Speaker 1>and so, you know, it used to be where you
<v Speaker 1>kind of write for an audience of one if you
<v Speaker 1>were a writer working for Vince McMahon. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that it's an audience of one that you're writing for now,
<v Speaker 1>but there's definitely an audience that I think that they
<v Speaker 1>are writing these shows for. Matt says, why did the
<v Speaker 1>chicken go to the bank to get his buck buck back?
<v Speaker 1>To get his I fucked it up to get his
<v Speaker 1>buck buck buck? When potatoes have kids, what are they
<v Speaker 1>called tater tots? Where does the carrot go to drink
<v Speaker 1>the salad? Bar boy, you're you're in a roll here.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not laughing out loud or anything. But he's on
<v Speaker 1>a roll man one right after the other. Boom boom boom.
<v Speaker 1>Look at this guy. Dry Chicken says, pick your poison,
<v Speaker 1>fight brock Lesner in the dark, or go into business
<v Speaker 1>for yourself and take away Eosky's trash trash can is
<v Speaker 1>that what you mean? I don't even I don't even
<v Speaker 1>know what you're asking me. I'm not picking the first one.
<v Speaker 1>I'll pick the second one. I don't even know what
<v Speaker 1>you're asking me there, but I'll pick the second one,
<v Speaker 1>not the first one. Ragnarok. We all like bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>well not everybody does. There are people who don't. We
<v Speaker 1>all like bron Breaker, but I don't like the Bronson
<v Speaker 1>killed Seth first and pin Roman, but is presented as
<v Speaker 1>second fiddle. Reed could main a event WrestleMania two. Well
<v Speaker 1>he can't because King Kong Bundy made event in WrestleMania two.
<v Speaker 1>See I got the jokes too. No, look, read is
<v Speaker 1>what thirty seven years old bron Breaker is not. So
<v Speaker 1>if you want to know why bron Breaker is being
<v Speaker 1>pushed the way he is and not Bronson Reid, there
<v Speaker 1>you go. Even though Bronson Reid is closer to the
<v Speaker 1>average age of your WWE main eventor these days, bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker is the one that they are building for the future,
<v Speaker 1>you know. And he's not just the future now he's
<v Speaker 1>the hero and now he's their crown jewel. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid is not Bronston Reed is there to help
<v Speaker 1>support that. Could I see Bronson Reid Maine eventing WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>not unless it's some sort of tag team match. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying. I'm not even judging his in ring skill.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying, Bronson Reid is not Maine eventing a WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>Bron Breaker will main event several WrestleManias. It's just the
<v Speaker 1>way it is. That's not the role that they have
<v Speaker 1>in mind for Bronson Reed. H duffs VIDs with a
<v Speaker 1>nine ninety nine. What do you call? Oh, you just
<v Speaker 1>repeated the same Now you're actually repeating jokes on the
<v Speaker 1>same stream. First you steal jokes from me, Sidro, and
<v Speaker 1>now this guy is repeating jokes on the same on
<v Speaker 1>the same stream. Now was that yours before or Sidrow's?
<v Speaker 1>Are you stealing from Sidrow? Now? This is getting dirty? Now,
<v Speaker 1>now it's getting dirty. Dried chicken says Cheech and Chong
<v Speaker 1>would write better stories than Triple H. Oh. Maybe Triple
<v Speaker 1>H needs to uh, you know, hit the grass. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>that's his problem. Maybe he needs to just mellow out
<v Speaker 1>a little bit. Then the ideas will flow. Leopoldo the
<v Speaker 1>New Day should return in twenty twenty six as the
<v Speaker 1>New Year. This solo Gunny match is better than every
<v Speaker 1>j Gunny? Are we calling him gunny? You wouldn't dare
<v Speaker 1>call him that to his face? Were calling Gunther gunny.
<v Speaker 1>I can't support this. We got Fox. I can listen
<v Speaker 1>to you talk all day, You the man. Thank you Fox.
<v Speaker 1>I have to listen to myself talk all day. Trust me,
<v Speaker 1>it's not that great, but I appreciate that. Thank you
<v Speaker 1>Carlos for the four ninety nine Hey, solo brother, your
<v Speaker 1>favorite WWE champion of all time versus your favorite AW
<v Speaker 1>World champion so far? Who would win? Thanks for everything.
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart would win? How about Brett Hart prime Brett
<v Speaker 1>Hart as the WWF champion against Kenny Omega as the
<v Speaker 1>AW champion. Two fellow Canadians going to battle. Still going
<v Speaker 1>with Brett. We got Velvet Floor eighteen. Triple H over
<v Speaker 1>selling Tonight's show or Shawn Michael's Summer Slam in two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and five, which was more entertaining Shawn Michael's over selling. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not very entertained when Triple H over sells these things.
<v Speaker 1>Shawn Michael's overselling and Summer Slam was actually very entertaining.
<v Speaker 1>Leopuldo Gunther's old song is less Heal slow babyface turn No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so. I think you will eventually be
<v Speaker 1>a babyface. Are you asking me? Are they in the
<v Speaker 1>process of slowly turning him babyface? I don't think so.
<v Speaker 1>But I suppose if they were building to a Brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesnar gun Thro match at WrestleMania, I mean, would Gunther
<v Speaker 1>not be the babyface in that scenario? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Brock's been babyface in the last few years,
<v Speaker 1>so I suppose it could be him. But I don't
<v Speaker 1>think that's what's going on with the new music. The
<v Speaker 1>Oracle longest streak someone's been a good booker, my gosh,
<v Speaker 1>the longest booking streak, I mean you'd have to go
<v Speaker 1>back to some of the early bookers from seventies and eighties.
<v Speaker 1>I offhand, I don't know how long was that run
<v Speaker 1>that Bill Watts had. I don't know. Maybe maybe Watts.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I actually don't know. Barry MK. They
<v Speaker 1>really should turn that EO fan sign into her new
<v Speaker 1>entrance video. Oh, JDFVA and LA Night talk Show. He
<v Speaker 1>can make it work. Hey, Look, some of the biggest
<v Speaker 1>stars in WWE history had their own talk show. Sean
<v Speaker 1>Michaels had the Heartbreak Hotel, Chris Jericho had the UH
<v Speaker 1>Highlight Reel, Piper had Piper's Pit. What would we call
<v Speaker 1>the LA Night segment? Up All Night with La Night?
<v Speaker 1>What would we call it? Boots with a five? I
<v Speaker 1>listened to the podcast at one point five x speed,
<v Speaker 1>which is why I'm sometimes late showing up for reviews
<v Speaker 1>and TNT so sped it up? Does it sped up?
<v Speaker 1>It does sound oh so sped up? It does sound
<v Speaker 1>like an excited Shabani. Okay, Well, if you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>it at a different speed, then I yeah, I can't
<v Speaker 1>vouch for what he must sound like. But if you
<v Speaker 1>listen to do it at normal, regular speed, it definitely
<v Speaker 1>sounds like a Rilla Monsoon. Oh you know what, I
<v Speaker 1>got a great name for an LA Night talk show,
<v Speaker 1>Shoes of a Champion. There you go, it'll be a
<v Speaker 1>little inside joke. Only some people will get shoes of
<v Speaker 1>a champion. There you go, shoes of a champion with
<v Speaker 1>La Knight. I could see it now, Fox, are La
<v Speaker 1>Knight and Rider gonna drive a talking car and fight crime.
<v Speaker 1>If they do, I'll bet you he'll get find a
<v Speaker 1>way to get it over. It'll get over. I think
<v Speaker 1>that would get over. Be man the champ so La
<v Speaker 1>and Zach like they just did Charlotte and Alexa. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but actually putting more effort into it in terms of
<v Speaker 1>like filming vignettes and segments outside of the arena. Can
<v Speaker 1>we do some of that? They They hard do any
<v Speaker 1>of that anymore. NXT does that more often than they do.
<v Speaker 1>It can't be that costly. Abystle Zones, I crunched the numbers.
<v Speaker 1>Mania was where it all went wrong for La Knight.
<v Speaker 1>He started twenty twenty five strong. Since WrestleMania, he has
<v Speaker 1>lost twice as much as he has won, and somehow
<v Speaker 1>he's still over. Yeah, it has not been a great
<v Speaker 1>year for La Knight. I mean, he's made it this
<v Speaker 1>far in the tournament, that's great, But if you look
<v Speaker 1>at his year, like his year over year overall, like
<v Speaker 1>it's not been a great year for him. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they need to rectify that in twenty twenty six. Jeremy Rose,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I know he's not one of the young
<v Speaker 1>talents they're looking to push, but I mean, there's no
<v Speaker 1>reason that he should just be wasting away like this,
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy says. Sina beats Gunther. Gunther is pissed and calls
<v Speaker 1>it a fluke, demanding a rematch. Eventually, Seena accepts. At WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther gets his win and seen it gets to have
<v Speaker 1>a better finale or a better final WrestleMania. That's all
<v Speaker 1>well and good, but that's not happening. Sena is done.
<v Speaker 1>On December thirteen. There will be no WrestleMania match. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>the last WrestleMania for John Cena, even though he won
<v Speaker 1>number seventeen. The memory of that will be Fien Fien
<v Speaker 1>fiend and a terrible match with Cody Ruads. And that's
<v Speaker 1>a shame because it didn't It didn't have to be
<v Speaker 1>that way, but that's what we got, and that sucks.
<v Speaker 1>Scum Dog, thank you for the ten scum Dog. I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate that. The mount Burning Kid Christopher Bennett. Hey, today
<v Speaker 1>is December second, I guess yeah, I guess now it is.
<v Speaker 1>Can you wish my little brother a Hulkling ninety three
<v Speaker 1>a happy thirty second birthday? As an older brother, I
<v Speaker 1>could not be more proud of him. Love you, Malcolm.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see that's a nice older brother. Look at that.
<v Speaker 1>Happy birthday to Hulkling ninety three. Happy birthday, Malcolm, Happy
<v Speaker 1>thirty second. I hope it's a great one. I hope
<v Speaker 1>it's better than thirty one. Chris, thank you. I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 1>Barry MK with a five. What's it like doing commentary
<v Speaker 1>for hog? How much of what you say can be
<v Speaker 1>your own thoughts and what wrestlers right now would you
<v Speaker 1>want to do commentary for. I've been very fortunate. I've
<v Speaker 1>been able to do commentary for a lot of big names. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it was very cool last year last summer doing commentary
<v Speaker 1>for Swerve Strickland. We brought him in against Red and
<v Speaker 1>Swerve was the aw world champion at the time, so
<v Speaker 1>you know, calling that was or just being part of
<v Speaker 1>that was very cool. What's it like doing commentary? It's
<v Speaker 1>it's a lot of fun. It's very fulfilling. It's not
<v Speaker 1>an easy thing to do, especially when you're working with
<v Speaker 1>you know, sometimes two or three other people, or the
<v Speaker 1>complete opposite. When sometimes I'm doing it by myself, I'm
<v Speaker 1>going full Joey styles like I did in Texas back
<v Speaker 1>in July. It's it's kind of nerve racking. It's not easy,
<v Speaker 1>but again, it's a very fun thing to be able
<v Speaker 1>to go out there and be the soundtrack, you know,
<v Speaker 1>for these shows. As far as like how much of
<v Speaker 1>what you say can be your own thoughts, They're all
<v Speaker 1>my own thoughts. Nobody tells me what to say. I will.
<v Speaker 1>I will try to go to talent to find out
<v Speaker 1>if there's anything in particular they want me to say.
<v Speaker 1>There was a I did that actually at the SuperClash
<v Speaker 1>show that we just had a long island and I
<v Speaker 1>had allole conversation with Killer Cross and I said, hey, yeah, look,
<v Speaker 1>is there anything that you want me to you know,
<v Speaker 1>get across or or say or do. And he's great
<v Speaker 1>because he just he's full of ideas. And there were
<v Speaker 1>a couple of things in particular. I won't share what
<v Speaker 1>they were, but there were a couple of things in particular,
<v Speaker 1>and then we got into a whole conversation and so
<v Speaker 1>I try to pull from the talent as far as
<v Speaker 1>anything they may want me to say, you try to
<v Speaker 1>keep it focused on the stories, so like story wise,
<v Speaker 1>you know, take it in the direction that it needs
<v Speaker 1>to be going in. It's a lot, you know, it's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of work, but I find it very fulfilling.
<v Speaker 1>Uh z Ray with a ten. Honestly, with live back,
<v Speaker 1>I am glad they are doing something with Judgment Day
<v Speaker 1>because for the longest time they were just on TV
<v Speaker 1>to show their face. Dom was the only one doing
<v Speaker 1>anything at all. Yeah, it just felt like when liv
<v Speaker 1>got hurt, things just sort of stalled that out in
<v Speaker 1>many ways at least don't what they were planning on
<v Speaker 1>doing obviously, and you're kind of in a holding pattern
<v Speaker 1>until that person comes back. So they probably could have
<v Speaker 1>brought her back as a television character a lot earlier,
<v Speaker 1>but they chose to wait until she was fully healed.
<v Speaker 1>And now they can sort of pick up with whatever
<v Speaker 1>it was that they wanted to do before that they
<v Speaker 1>didn't have a chance to do. Alexander Tony Kahan's favorite
<v Speaker 1>words are great is great, Hunter's is epic. He's going
<v Speaker 1>to say it often like a nervous Nelly. Now you
<v Speaker 1>know what I love there's that video that goes around
<v Speaker 1>every now and then of Triple h at like the
<v Speaker 1>post show press conferences or media scrums, and he loves
<v Speaker 1>saying it's what we do. There's like a whole compilation
<v Speaker 1>of him saying that, like, it's what we do, is
<v Speaker 1>what we do, It's what we do. It's what we do.
<v Speaker 1>They're gonna put that on his fucking headstone when he dies.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's gonna say Triple Hair lies, Paul, Triple Ah Levec,
<v Speaker 1>it's what we do. It's gonna say it right there
<v Speaker 1>on his tube stone. Mar Kwan nineteen seventy six. I solo,
<v Speaker 1>hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Where it is. After
<v Speaker 1>Survivor series went off the air, Jay went back to
<v Speaker 1>yeat the cage some more. You know, I heard some
<v Speaker 1>rumors about this. I would rather not know what he
<v Speaker 1>did to that cage. After hours, I heard some terrible
<v Speaker 1>rumors about what he did. I will not share them.
<v Speaker 1>Carlos says, run back the intro, Solo, yeats, How should
<v Speaker 1>I run it back? I should do. I just poked
<v Speaker 1>myself in the face. I should do that. One of
<v Speaker 1>these days. I'm gonna start the stream and after the
<v Speaker 1>intro and after it was come to me and I'm
<v Speaker 1>just gonna go like this. We're gonna run it back
<v Speaker 1>and then I'll just run the whole fucking thing all
<v Speaker 1>over again. That's not a bad idea, Justin says, home
<v Speaker 1>from the Redwoods, sat under some very tall learning trees. Indeed,
<v Speaker 1>I'll bet thank you Justin z Ray with a ten
<v Speaker 1>no message, just showing some love. Thank you, z Ray
<v Speaker 1>Mere refresh the list here and we'll get to these
<v Speaker 1>final batch of super chats. Nick Grosso with a four
<v Speaker 1>ninety nine. If Batista doesn't get hurt in late two
<v Speaker 1>thousand and five and forfeit the world title, what does
<v Speaker 1>he do at let me put this on screen here,
<v Speaker 1>hold on, hold on, here we go. If Batista doesn't
<v Speaker 1>get hurt in late two thousand and five and forfeit
<v Speaker 1>the world tied, well, what does he do at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>twenty two? And does raymis Stereo still get his big moment?
<v Speaker 1>It's a good question. Would he still have gotten that moment?
<v Speaker 1>I feel like he would have. Yes, I feel like
<v Speaker 1>he would have. I don't know if there was an
<v Speaker 1>original plan that far out for him at WrestleMania, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know who he would have faced. I mean, maybe
<v Speaker 1>it would have ended up being Ray. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trying to put myself back in that headspace of
<v Speaker 1>late five or early six and who was on top
<v Speaker 1>on smack Now, right, he had Kurt Angle, he had
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton. But I don't know what that match would
<v Speaker 1>have been. Probably, I mean we got a triple threat
<v Speaker 1>right at twenty two, so probably would have been some
<v Speaker 1>sort of triple threat or fatal four. Why would be
<v Speaker 1>my guess? Hey, Evan, welcome to the channel, Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 1>Look at that. Joe Hendry's giving you the big clap.
<v Speaker 1>He's not giving you the clap. He's giving you the
<v Speaker 1>you know what I mean, Joe Hendry did not give
<v Speaker 1>him the clap. Nick, thank you for the question. I
<v Speaker 1>wish I had a better answer, but that would be
<v Speaker 1>my best guess. Matt Fisher says, why is it prohibited
<v Speaker 1>to do the reverse cowgirl in Alabama? You can't turn
<v Speaker 1>your back on your fuckus, So now you're just trolling me.
<v Speaker 1>That's twice in one stream that two people have stolen
<v Speaker 1>my joke. Robotech guy with a ten buy or sell
<v Speaker 1>Jesse Ventur referring to Tito Santana as Chico or Bobby
<v Speaker 1>Heenan referring to him as La Bamba. Great show. As always,
<v Speaker 1>every time I hear LaBamba, I just think of Conan
<v Speaker 1>and LaBamba from his band on Conan O'Brien shaw, I
<v Speaker 1>gotta go Chico, and then Monsoon would try to correct him.
<v Speaker 1>It's Tito. He would still call him Chico. Bass Beers says,
<v Speaker 1>Tommy Dreamers sent that kid to Tommy Dreamers sent that
<v Speaker 1>kid to finish off Paul Hayman. My god, oh man,
<v Speaker 1>he couldn't get the job done himself, so he was
<v Speaker 1>gonna send what a little nine year old kid to
<v Speaker 1>do it for him. Tucky Neutron been super busy, hope
<v Speaker 1>all is well, Raw Women's Division, and then some fiery emojis.
<v Speaker 1>It's good to hear from you, Tucky Neutron. It's been
<v Speaker 1>a while. Brandon Vasquez, who would win a real life
<v Speaker 1>triple threat street fight Haku brock Lesnar or Steve Blackman.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, you thought we had a lot of
<v Speaker 1>blood and blood and guts. What would that look like?
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, A real life, a real life triple
<v Speaker 1>threat street fight with those guys? You know what? Man,
<v Speaker 1>it is hard for me to vote against Haku. I
<v Speaker 1>think Haku bit someone's nose off ones, right, is that
<v Speaker 1>the story pluck their eye out or bit their nose off?
<v Speaker 1>But Man, Steve Blackman is not one to be messed with.
<v Speaker 1>I kind of feel like in that situation, there really
<v Speaker 1>are no winners. Bass Beers buy or Sell. Rick Flair
<v Speaker 1>or Saboo's last match. I thought they were both horrible,
<v Speaker 1>especially that bump that Saboo took out of the ring
<v Speaker 1>where he landed on his head. I thought they were
<v Speaker 1>both awful. Uh dry chicken in Turkey? Why on earth?
<v Speaker 1>Why on earth? The WWE women didn't use any stink bombs,
<v Speaker 1>fire extinguishers, or large lego blocks in the War Games match. No,
<v Speaker 1>they have to stick with their usual stuff. Man, you're
<v Speaker 1>only in WWE. You're only allowed certain objects. You gotta
<v Speaker 1>have chairs, you gotta have your slim gym tables, which
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they had. But you got your slim
<v Speaker 1>gym tables, your chairs, You've got your kendo sticks, and
<v Speaker 1>then more kendo sticks, and then even more kendo sticks.
<v Speaker 1>Then you can spit missed in someone's face. That's okay.
<v Speaker 1>I think Kyrie had a chain. Right, we have a
<v Speaker 1>garbage can for EO and that's about it. You've reached
<v Speaker 1>your quota. Duff's VIDs went to the doctor's for back
<v Speaker 1>pain and he said the problem is that you sit
<v Speaker 1>too much during the day. I said, I understand, doctor,
<v Speaker 1>Yes you do. It's clever. That was clever, not beat
<v Speaker 1>Alex with a twenty five thank you solo and everyone
<v Speaker 1>for the birthday wishes. Didn't know crack Bones sent that
<v Speaker 1>message until a few minutes ago. Unfortunately, I will be
<v Speaker 1>working on Wednesday and won't celebrate until Saturday, but I
<v Speaker 1>will join you on Wednesday. Good. I'm happy. I'm glad
<v Speaker 1>to hear that it's better to celebrate on the weekend. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>that's when I used to celebrate all when I would
<v Speaker 1>go out and have like birthday parties and shit, who
<v Speaker 1>was always on the weekend. That way, nobody has to
<v Speaker 1>think about work except me because I work all week
<v Speaker 1>and all weekend. But most people they usually don't work
<v Speaker 1>on the weekends. Why I why LA night talk show
<v Speaker 1>would be let me talk to you come on now? Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's that's kind of a gimmey, I guess
<v Speaker 1>let me talk to you with La Knight. Yeah, I guess,
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's what it would be. You know, I
<v Speaker 1>actually really liked that idea of him having the talk show.
<v Speaker 1>At least it would get him on TV in most weeks,
<v Speaker 1>and then from those segments could come feuds, right for
<v Speaker 1>him to kind of branch off into. I'm not a
<v Speaker 1>post to that idea. Usually I'm not always, I guess
<v Speaker 1>not always. Usually it's more of a heel thing. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't have to be a heel Paul Carpenter the
<v Speaker 1>Megastar talk show La Knight, Now, it's got to be
<v Speaker 1>let me talk to you. It's got to be let me,
<v Speaker 1>let me talk to you. As the name dried Chicken
<v Speaker 1>in Turkey, if Nicky Bella wrestled in a w the
<v Speaker 1>Sikos would embrace her package, I mean her presence, would they? Oh,
<v Speaker 1>they would embrace her sure, yeah, yeah, she would probably
<v Speaker 1>pick up some bad habits too, Nicki Bella. Can you
<v Speaker 1>imagine Nikki Bella in blood and guts, landing in the
<v Speaker 1>broken shards of glass and tacks unlock the hardcore side
<v Speaker 1>of Niki, not that kind of hardcore, but the hardcore
<v Speaker 1>side of Nikki Bella Yuki Oh rules, Hey Solo, who
<v Speaker 1>wins Vato Sting or Camacho aka Tongala great Stream as
<v Speaker 1>all Oh votos thing. Voto's thing is unbeaten. Bobby means,
<v Speaker 1>how did you get your first break into commentary? I
<v Speaker 1>was invited out to a House of Glory show in
<v Speaker 1>the summer of twenty eighteen to be a part of
<v Speaker 1>They were trying a little like WWE type of pre
<v Speaker 1>show gimmick, so I was invited to be a part
<v Speaker 1>of that and stuck around to watch the show. There
<v Speaker 1>was an open challenge that happened to be an open
<v Speaker 1>challenge that night where Austin Airies was defending the TNA
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship of All Things against a mystery man,
<v Speaker 1>which turned out to be one of our kind of
<v Speaker 1>homegrown talents in House of Glory, and I sat in
<v Speaker 1>on that match to do commentary. I was one of
<v Speaker 1>like four people so and I'm sure I was, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know what I was doing, but that's how
<v Speaker 1>it started. And then I started coming to the shows,
<v Speaker 1>not with any sort of expectations but just kind of
<v Speaker 1>helping out, you know, where I was needed, not even
<v Speaker 1>really always on commentary. But then there was an opening
<v Speaker 1>somebody left to go start his own promotion and do
<v Speaker 1>commentary there, and it's like, oh, we have an opening
<v Speaker 1>on commentary, and it just sort of went from there.
<v Speaker 1>So that's how it all started. And Evan Rogers odds
<v Speaker 1>on Sena winning on the thirteenth, it kind of would
<v Speaker 1>be an I'm sorry present for all the fans who
<v Speaker 1>feel like they fumbled his last year of the Snap.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I said before. I mean, sometimes you just
<v Speaker 1>have to it's not just about Sena probably wanting I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure Sena would want to lose, or it's like, oh
<v Speaker 1>we gotta you know, he has to lose to put
<v Speaker 1>this guy over, or sometimes you just have to do
<v Speaker 1>what is best for the show, for the story, for
<v Speaker 1>the fans, And I think that it would leave a
<v Speaker 1>sour taste in a lot of people's mouths if coming
<v Speaker 1>off of what happened is Survivor series. He goes in
<v Speaker 1>there in his last match a few weeks later and
<v Speaker 1>just gets beat by Gunther, passes out in fucking sleeper,
<v Speaker 1>power bombed and pinned. Even I can look at that
<v Speaker 1>and go as much as I would love to see
<v Speaker 1>Gunther get a big win there, I could look at
<v Speaker 1>that and go just objectively from watching this show like man,
<v Speaker 1>that would be a fucking bummer, you know. So that's
<v Speaker 1>why I was talking about that before, where I think,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Sena winning that match might be the best
<v Speaker 1>outcome just to kind of give the fans something to
<v Speaker 1>actually cheer for at the end when they haven't always
<v Speaker 1>had something to cheer for during this senior retirement tour,
<v Speaker 1>you know. So that way, at least it doesn't end
<v Speaker 1>on a sour note. Matt Fisher again, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>that twelve dollars super chat. I appreciate that. And now
<v Speaker 1>you rule as hog commission Yeah, and look at that.
<v Speaker 1>I went from commentary to commentary and being the commissioner
<v Speaker 1>of the entire fucking promotion. How'd that happen? I worked
<v Speaker 1>my way up the corporate ladder. Look at that. No
<v Speaker 1>casting couch for this guy, I could tell you that much.
<v Speaker 1>Now I have all the responsibilities, now, most of them,
<v Speaker 1>not all of them. Donovan Payne, what's the better pay
<v Speaker 1>per view ECW one night Stand in two thousand and
<v Speaker 1>five or ECW one Night Stay in two thousand and six,
<v Speaker 1>ECW one night Stand in two thousand and five, That
<v Speaker 1>is actually, and I say this as not even someone
<v Speaker 1>who is like a huge ECW fan back in the day.
<v Speaker 1>That is one of my favorite pay per views of
<v Speaker 1>any kind all time. And I'm so pissed I wasn't there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know why I wasn't there, but it
<v Speaker 1>was right in my backyard. And I've been to that building, man,
<v Speaker 1>in the years after that, for Ring of hoonnor shows. Man,
<v Speaker 1>I've been in that Manhattan Center Hammerstein so many times
<v Speaker 1>and I can't even imagine what the atmosphere was in
<v Speaker 1>that building. I mean, I could sense it by watching
<v Speaker 1>it on TV, but I like to be there live.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that would have been an incredible experience. May's
<v Speaker 1>the great Happy eighteen years. So, though the sound off
<v Speaker 1>is now too old for the likes of Grizzly Smith,
<v Speaker 1>Yes and Jerry Lawler, among others, Thank you Mays and
<v Speaker 1>Duff's VIDs. What does Halloween and Hillbillies have in common?
<v Speaker 1>Pump Kin Duff's VID's always always with the classy jokes.
<v Speaker 1>Pump Kin is what He's sayd and Devin also with
<v Speaker 1>a four ninety nine buyer sell on the Best WrestleMania trilogy,
<v Speaker 1>Stone Cold versus the Rock, Triple H versus the Undertaker
<v Speaker 1>and Roman against Brock Oh and coming soon Roman and Cody,
<v Speaker 1>because that's the match we need, I mean, the best trilogy,
<v Speaker 1>best WrestleMania trilogy, Austin and Rock and then Triple H
<v Speaker 1>and Undertaker and then Roman and Brock. So you had
<v Speaker 1>the order, right. Have there been any other WrestleMania trilogies?
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so. All right, Well, not only did
<v Speaker 1>we hit the regular goal, because we are well north
<v Speaker 1>of five hundred likes, actually closing in soon on six hundred,
<v Speaker 1>if you want to help get me there, but we
<v Speaker 1>had the bonus goal as well, So we are getting
<v Speaker 1>two rounds of be the booker. I'm locked in, I'm
<v Speaker 1>ready to go. Are you? Are you ready? You better be.
<v Speaker 1>It's time to be the booker, Ladies and gentlemen. It
<v Speaker 1>is now time to be the booker waiting all night
<v Speaker 1>for this. It's time to books some wrestling match. It's
<v Speaker 1>a little fun thing we do here at the end
<v Speaker 1>of most of these streams, not always every stream, but
<v Speaker 1>most of these streams. Triple H promised to you people
<v Speaker 1>in Epic Raw tonight, and he lied to you. He
<v Speaker 1>gave you a good show. He didn't give you an
<v Speaker 1>epic show. I, on the other hand, I've made no
<v Speaker 1>such promises, but I am going to try to give
<v Speaker 1>you an epic card. I'm gonna try. So let's see
<v Speaker 1>what we can do here we begin. Oh, we're going
<v Speaker 1>old school, because when you see the black and white,
<v Speaker 1>you know we're going old school here. This is a
<v Speaker 1>little team from the Twin Cities, from the AWA called
<v Speaker 1>the East West Connection. Jesse Ventura and uh why did
<v Speaker 1>his name just pop out of my head? Adrian Adonnas
<v Speaker 1>his name just randomly popped out of my head for
<v Speaker 1>some reason. Jesse Ventura and Adrian Adonis a very good team.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see who they're going to be wrestling. They are
<v Speaker 1>going to be challenging r K Brow, Randy Orton, and
<v Speaker 1>Matt Riddle. Look how small Randy Orton looks here compared
<v Speaker 1>to how he was when he came back the last time,
<v Speaker 1>like compared to how he is now. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>he looks completely deflated here. He's only gotten bigger since then.
<v Speaker 1>I don't mean fatter. Be a hell of a match though,
<v Speaker 1>RK Brow in the East West Connection. All right, move
<v Speaker 1>on to match number two. Where is Matt riddle. Uh
<v Speaker 1>try looking at mlw uh we uh oh, she's in
<v Speaker 1>her tank. Everybody, it is the reigning House of Glory
<v Speaker 1>women's champion. It is Shotzi is here and be the booker?
<v Speaker 1>Is this her be the booker debut? I think it
<v Speaker 1>might be. The woman has a tank on her way
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. We have Shatzi against Candice lay Shots. Look.
<v Speaker 1>I have love for Shaotzi in the work that she's
<v Speaker 1>put in this year really all over the independent scene.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually been very impressive. But Shatzi and Can with
<v Speaker 1>all of the other names that we have here, I'm
<v Speaker 1>trying to book an epic card here. I'm sorry, I
<v Speaker 1>wish I could. I just can't do it. I promised
<v Speaker 1>the people an epic card. We have the Honky Tonk Man.
<v Speaker 1>Now if I buzzed the previous match, how could I
<v Speaker 1>beol the honky Tonk Man in the main event. Well,
<v Speaker 1>the Honky Tonk Man, I will say as a heel.
<v Speaker 1>When he was the champion back in eighty seven into
<v Speaker 1>eighty eight, they did headline some shows with him. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>the very first show I ever went to live in
<v Speaker 1>my life at Madison Square Garden had him in the
<v Speaker 1>main event, defending against the Macho Man. It's my earliest
<v Speaker 1>live wrestling memory, and people bought ticket see this guy
<v Speaker 1>get his ass kicked. He was a draw there for
<v Speaker 1>a while. You make fun of Honckey talk Man all
<v Speaker 1>you want to. Let's get the drum roll the Honky
<v Speaker 1>talk Man against the Fiend Bray Wyatt in the main event,
<v Speaker 1>A little blend of old school and new school, a
<v Speaker 1>match that we've never booked before. It is a is
<v Speaker 1>a very is a very interesting styles clash between these two,
<v Speaker 1>the Fiend and the Hockey talk Man. I really I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how that would go. I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>that would go. I feel like he would hit the
<v Speaker 1>Fiend over the head with the guitar, and the Fiend
<v Speaker 1>would just he would just no sell it. Justin says,
<v Speaker 1>I am sickened but curious. It is a very weird matchup,
<v Speaker 1>isn't it hellan to sell? In Saudi Arabia? Honkey talk
<v Speaker 1>a man against the Fiend? Yeah, I don't think we
<v Speaker 1>need that. I see, I love those first time matches
<v Speaker 1>that we've never booked before. Yeah, Fiend would absolutely no
<v Speaker 1>sell the guitar, but would Honkey do the job? See?
<v Speaker 1>That's the question, would Honky do the job? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Round number two. This time we get to
<v Speaker 1>add stipulations. Let's pick our first one. We are going
<v Speaker 1>with a barroom brawl. You know, it's funny this. I
<v Speaker 1>just got done talking about this. This may have been
<v Speaker 1>the last time that I could remember, and this was
<v Speaker 1>a few years ago that WWE did anything like this
<v Speaker 1>on location somewhere like on the main roster. They don't
<v Speaker 1>do stuff like this anymore. They don't. They're not adventurous
<v Speaker 1>when it comes to this anymore. Everything's so fucking sterile
<v Speaker 1>and boring and safe, Like we need more shit like this.
<v Speaker 1>All right, we got a barroom brawl. Uh, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>let's hmm, what do you think barroom brawl? Tag? We'll
<v Speaker 1>do tag team match? How about that barroom brawl tag
<v Speaker 1>team match. We'll get the whole bar involved. Undertaker and
<v Speaker 1>big show. This is the Unholy Alliance. Oh man, imagine
<v Speaker 1>those two storm into the bar, they storm into the
<v Speaker 1>old Friendly Tap that Tim White used to run. That
<v Speaker 1>place would be trashed within two seconds. Undertaker, Oh my god, Undertaker,
<v Speaker 1>a big show against the natural disasters in a barroom brawl.
<v Speaker 1>I feel sorry for whoever owns this bar, This bar
<v Speaker 1>will never be the same again when these four get it.
<v Speaker 1>When they get done, forget about it. You're gonna have
<v Speaker 1>to cut the owner of check so he can rebuild
<v Speaker 1>that place. Ain't gonna that place, ain't gonna last. All right,
<v Speaker 1>let's go match number two here. That's like the perfect
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that's like the perfect stipulation though for
<v Speaker 1>a match like that. All right, we're doing a Lions
<v Speaker 1>then match. Someone mentioned Steve Blackman before there he is
<v Speaker 1>in the background. I wouldn't want to be locked in
<v Speaker 1>a cage with that guy a Lions then match. We'll
<v Speaker 1>go with the men this time. Usually we do the
<v Speaker 1>men in the main event. We're gonna give the late
<v Speaker 1>like like they did on RAWT and now we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>give the ladies the main event and we'll go with
<v Speaker 1>the guys in a Lions dead match. Demon Balor, you
<v Speaker 1>know what's good about this. There's no ropes for him
<v Speaker 1>to climb, so he can't fall flat on his face
<v Speaker 1>the way he did against Roman Reigns all those years ago.
<v Speaker 1>That's good. Demon Balor, who was supposed to beat Edge
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania, but Vince McMahon nixed it and said, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>Edge has to beat him. Oh no, Finn Balor as
<v Speaker 1>the Demon against the giant Gonzales in a lions Den match.
<v Speaker 1>Oh poor Finn. There's nothing he can do. There's nothing.
<v Speaker 1>There's just nothing he can do. There's nothing Balor can do.
<v Speaker 1>There's no saving it. I feel so sorry for him.
<v Speaker 1>He's so fucked. There's just nothing he could do. I
<v Speaker 1>don't even know what to say. All right, we got
<v Speaker 1>one match left to go here. Yeah, he's still there,
<v Speaker 1>He's still in be the booker, he's still there. We
<v Speaker 1>have a monsters ball match. The women are going to
<v Speaker 1>be in a Monster's ball or in a Monster's balls.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go, not this monster all right, here we go.
<v Speaker 1>We have Carmela, the Princess of Staten Island. She was
<v Speaker 1>just that one of the I think she was at
<v Speaker 1>the Big Event convention on Long Island a few weeks ago. Carmela,
<v Speaker 1>former SmackDown Women's champion. Not really somebody I could picture
<v Speaker 1>in a Monster's Ball match though, against Jade Cargill. Fuck it,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna add two more people to this. We're having
<v Speaker 1>a big ass monsters ball match here. I'm making an
<v Speaker 1>executive decision. We're gonna make this a fatal four way
<v Speaker 1>monsters ball. We have Carmela, we have Jade, Cargill, we
<v Speaker 1>have Osca. Now we're getting somewhere. Now we are getting somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>And Trish Stratus. You've got Trish Stratus, You've got Oscar,
<v Speaker 1>You've got Jade, and you've got Carmela. Monster's Ball. It's
<v Speaker 1>a nice little attraction for you. So what do you think? Epic?
<v Speaker 1>Was this an epic card? Yeay or nay? In the chat?
<v Speaker 1>Was this more or less epic than what Triple h
<v Speaker 1>gave you on Raw tonight? You need to tell me
<v Speaker 1>you don't think Finn Balor and the giant Gonzales inside
<v Speaker 1>the Lions. Then you need to tell me that's not epic.
<v Speaker 1>It's an epic fail, but epic nonetheless. Right, it's gotta
<v Speaker 1>be better than what he gave you tonight. Please give
<v Speaker 1>me that much. My curiosity is killing me, just like
<v Speaker 1>a camp would be killed by the curiosity. Yes, Holiday,
<v Speaker 1>dropping some super chat love. Hey, first, we got Wink
<v Speaker 1>the cosmic Grandma. Most likely to have a trilogy with
<v Speaker 1>bron Hmmm, Jacob thought to Holliday, says, Hi, solo triple
<v Speaker 1>H promised an epic Rawtina, but it wasn't very newsworthy.
<v Speaker 1>It's an improvement from previous weeks, though, wondering if Jericho
<v Speaker 1>may be revealed as the Vision leader given the weight
<v Speaker 1>and Theories a member instead Jericho leading the Vision, it
<v Speaker 1>would set up a program for Seth rollins when he
<v Speaker 1>came back. But I mean, I don't see it again,
<v Speaker 1>even the idea that Jericho was the I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>guess so what you're saying is that Theory would be
<v Speaker 1>a member, so he would technically be revealed as the
<v Speaker 1>masked man because Jericho ain't running in and out of
<v Speaker 1>that cage that quick. Nobody would buy that. But you're
<v Speaker 1>basically saying Jericho replaces Seth as like the veteran leader
<v Speaker 1>of the group. I mean, you could do it. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. We've had nothing but Jericho and factions
<v Speaker 1>in AW and then you're gonna debut him in WWE
<v Speaker 1>in a faction. We're gonna go through this all over again.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be like Learning Tree two point zero. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I could handle that. Boots from the
<v Speaker 1>current WWE roster, who would be a good choice to
<v Speaker 1>be doink the clown and have them work in triple
<v Speaker 1>A the way he's been booked La Night. Let's put
<v Speaker 1>the fucking makeup on him. I need to see that
<v Speaker 1>photoshop though, of him with the green hair and the
<v Speaker 1>makeup on power Spying games. Speaking of adventure, I watched
<v Speaker 1>the two thousand and one segment of Booker, T and
<v Speaker 1>Austin in Church. Again. No, it's a great one. It's
<v Speaker 1>not as good as the supermarket one. But they did
<v Speaker 1>one and then the supermarket. They did one in Church.
<v Speaker 1>They did one in a bingo hall. See, that was entertaining.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I'm talking about. That's what's missing. That's what's
<v Speaker 1>missing from these shows. Where's the fun and super pony?
<v Speaker 1>When did the honeymoon phase with Triple h end twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty five when he fucked up? Seen his retirement run,
<v Speaker 1>that's when the honeymoon phase officially ended. Booker playing Bingo
<v Speaker 1>was comed It was, of course, it was comedy gold.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you gotta have the right people to make
<v Speaker 1>it work. But that's they don't have fun. Jericho pinning
<v Speaker 1>la at Mania is going to make the Internet implode.
<v Speaker 1>I still think that's the likeliest opponent for him on it.
<v Speaker 1>I think Jericho and La Knight. If Jericho comes in,
<v Speaker 1>Jericho and La and out of WrestleMania, I think is
<v Speaker 1>the most likely match. But I said this on the
<v Speaker 1>sound off. You know, if these reports are are true,
<v Speaker 1>the WWE is only interested in pitching a retirement storyline
<v Speaker 1>for him. I don't think Jericho is ready to retire.
<v Speaker 1>If that's all WWE is interested in, I think he
<v Speaker 1>may well stay where he is. I mean, if that's
<v Speaker 1>the case, then I don't think it's as much of
<v Speaker 1>a slam dunk as we all thought it was that
<v Speaker 1>he's going to leave and go to WWE. Right now?
<v Speaker 1>Did I like the snake pit or the funeral parlor more?
<v Speaker 1>I was at the funeral parlor snake pit. I was
<v Speaker 1>very young and don't have a lot of, you know,
<v Speaker 1>great memories. The only real memory I have from the
<v Speaker 1>snake pit, honestly, is when Honky Tonk came him in
<v Speaker 1>the head with the guitar. I have more memories of
<v Speaker 1>and the funeral parlor and the barber shop. Booker is
<v Speaker 1>a legend with these comedy segments. Remember the stuff he
<v Speaker 1>did with gold dust. When they did those, it was
<v Speaker 1>like a movie review segments. Those were great too. Link
<v Speaker 1>master X Brett Hart deserved a retirement tour, Yes he did.
<v Speaker 1>You know who We have to thank for that, Bill Goldberg.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you guys for a great stream tonight. We just
<v Speaker 1>were just shy of three hours because you guys killed
<v Speaker 1>it here on the stream. A lot of great questions
<v Speaker 1>to be the bookers. We had some fun tonight. Let's
<v Speaker 1>keep it going. Let's extend that into Wednesday. We got
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite post show, The Continental Classic continues. Could be
<v Speaker 1>a big angle on Wednesday, Moxley against Claudio in the
<v Speaker 1>Continental Classic, so we'll see how that goes, and then
<v Speaker 1>smack Down Friday night we get the finals, La Night
<v Speaker 1>and Gunther Who's wrestling John Cena on December thirteenth, We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna find out. Hopefully we'll get another US title open
<v Speaker 1>challenge with Ilia Dragoneov, because we did not get one
<v Speaker 1>on Friday last week, nor did we get one at
<v Speaker 1>Survivor Series and boys Survivor Series could have used one.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully we'll get one this week. Go back and check
<v Speaker 1>out my Survivor Series full review if you missed it.
<v Speaker 1>Episode ninety of the sound off from Sunday and I
<v Speaker 1>will see you back here on Wednesday. It's all I
<v Speaker 1>got for you with the DYNA might post show until then,
<v Speaker 1>be well, stay safe, have yourselves a great night, and
<v Speaker 1>I will see you in less than forty eight hours.
<v Speaker 1>We'll do it all over again here live on YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, take care, guys,
