<v Speaker 1>Jar you.
<v Speaker 2>Katy and Josh one hundred, you need to make your
<v Speaker 2>way over to our Facebook page this morning because Katie
<v Speaker 2>and I have still been giggling off the air about
<v Speaker 2>this raccoon that broke into a liquor store in Virginia.
<v Speaker 2>A police there animal control officers there shared photos of
<v Speaker 2>this male raccoon. He broke into the liquor store, was
<v Speaker 2>trying to wander around some of the shelves, knocked over
<v Speaker 2>some gin, some whiskey, and then proceeded to lap it
<v Speaker 2>up and the little trash panda is trash trash got wasted.
<v Speaker 2>This little raccoon was totally drunk. I guess they see
<v Speaker 2>there's some footage of him wandering around and then they
<v Speaker 2>ended up finding him in the bathroom extremely intoxicated and
<v Speaker 2>just sprawled out on the floor.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh, Like this is so many of my
<v Speaker 3>club nights.
<v Speaker 2>I know. I saw this and I was like, I
<v Speaker 2>can relate, Yes, I can relate.
<v Speaker 1>Back, I was telling you, like, these are the girls
<v Speaker 1>in the club, like a little bloated, super cute.
<v Speaker 3>But ready to fight, Like you know what I mean,
<v Speaker 3>that is what they look. I can imagine that raccoon, like,
<v Speaker 3>leave me alone. I'm fine, I'm.
<v Speaker 2>Off. He's just trying to get away from his wife
<v Speaker 2>and children for the night. Just wanders and I'm going
<v Speaker 2>to I'm going out to get cigarettes. Like seeing you know,
<v Speaker 2>he's passed out on the floor of a bathroom. It
<v Speaker 2>really is a que photo though, so funny, like on
<v Speaker 2>his tummy just feed out all four you know, and
<v Speaker 2>then the tail straight back just gone, just completely gone. Uh.
<v Speaker 2>They did describe the raccoon as quote very intoxicated. They
<v Speaker 2>scooped him up, brought him to an animal shelter, let
<v Speaker 2>him sleep it off, and then they released him back
<v Speaker 2>into the wild. They say that this little guy had
<v Speaker 2>zero signs of injury, but maybe a wicked hangover. Get
<v Speaker 2>this little guy some ibuprofen immediately and a breakfast burrito.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, he needs some fat.
<v Speaker 2>It's one of those How did I get here? I
<v Speaker 2>end up here in the drunk tank? So go check
<v Speaker 2>out the pictures on our Facebook page. Jeremy Katie josh On.
<v Speaker 3>We up next to a chipmunk? What it was dark
<v Speaker 3>in the club?
<v Speaker 2>Squirrels? What did I do last night?
<v Speaker 3>And I don't even know who I am right now?
<v Speaker 3>So good, so good.
<v Speaker 2>We've been talking a little bit about how Katie is
<v Speaker 2>due to make the pilgrimage to North Dakota is happening.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And I did it to myself actually because I
<v Speaker 1>have actually I've told you guys how I had a
<v Speaker 1>plan for Christmas and I was so excited about it.
<v Speaker 1>I was going to book a hotel down in Santa
<v Speaker 1>Fe and go by myself and just love life and
<v Speaker 1>go check out the turquoise and the art and the
<v Speaker 1>music and all the fun things that are down there
<v Speaker 1>in New Mexico.
<v Speaker 3>I'd never been.
<v Speaker 1>I've never been, and so I planned this trip to
<v Speaker 1>where I could really just go enjoy the holidays, a
<v Speaker 1>little three day ve ak whatever, and I was just
<v Speaker 1>so set on it.
<v Speaker 3>I was so excited.
<v Speaker 2>And then Santa Fe.
<v Speaker 3>I'm sorry, did you say Santa Fe?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, So and I told you about it, and
<v Speaker 1>you said you loved Santa Fe.
<v Speaker 2>He loved Santa Fe so much. We last time we
<v Speaker 2>went there was like a little date, long weekend. It
<v Speaker 2>was just two of us. We went did some wine
<v Speaker 2>tasting restaurants and cuddled.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Well, of course, love real love Santa Yeah no.
<v Speaker 3>And that's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone who I've told this plan to They're like such
<v Speaker 1>a great idea. Santa Fe is great and something that
<v Speaker 1>Pat you know, padded onto it was it's only a
<v Speaker 1>five hour drive from Denver, like you can get there and.
<v Speaker 3>You know, an afternoon. So I was like, this is perfect.
<v Speaker 1>And I was talking to my mom on Thanksgiving and
<v Speaker 1>this is when she decides to tell me that she
<v Speaker 1>had to spend Thanksgiving by herself. And when we were
<v Speaker 1>talking about it, she told me that she wasn't going
<v Speaker 1>to have anybody over for Thanksgiving.
<v Speaker 3>And she was excited.
<v Speaker 1>She was like, I've never had an alone Thanksgiving. This
<v Speaker 1>is this is intriguing. She's like, I'm still gonna make
<v Speaker 1>all the food. I'm gonna eat it myself. But then
<v Speaker 1>when Thanksgiving came, she was all bummed out and sad
<v Speaker 1>and depressed and.
<v Speaker 2>She's so lonely and the turkey is so dry, I know.
<v Speaker 1>And then she's like, I don't know if I can
<v Speaker 1>do this for Christmas because my fa my family's all
<v Speaker 1>over the place this year, so they just cannot make
<v Speaker 1>it back to the small hometown I'm from to be
<v Speaker 1>with my mom. And so like that's the thing, is
<v Speaker 1>his mom gonna be home for Christmas? And I just
<v Speaker 1>didn't feel like that was some time to what do
<v Speaker 1>you mean is no, but people usually come to her,
<v Speaker 1>but nobody can come to her this year, so she's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be by herself. And even all her friends and
<v Speaker 1>everything have planned, so usually she has something planned for
<v Speaker 1>the holidays, and she's gonna be by herself, and I
<v Speaker 1>just figured that was not the time to tell her
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna go be at the Four Seasons in
<v Speaker 1>Santa Fe living by myself, and so I like, the
<v Speaker 1>more I talked to her, she was just like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you only get so many Christmas card.
<v Speaker 2>And then she's like, that's a big card.
<v Speaker 1>She's said, because I moved away from home when I
<v Speaker 1>was eighteen. The minute I could, I left, and she
<v Speaker 1>went through She's like, I actually went and I tried
<v Speaker 1>to figure out how many Christmas is you've been home
<v Speaker 1>since you left.
<v Speaker 2>The brutal I didn't reach since I was you're sixty now, so.
<v Speaker 1>Shut up, No, it's but it's definitely a lot, and
<v Speaker 1>I made me feel bad.
<v Speaker 3>So then in the moment I had to tell my
<v Speaker 3>mom do.
<v Speaker 1>You want me to come home for Christmas?
<v Speaker 3>And she was like, O, Katie Beth, what you belly
<v Speaker 3>like she and then I got.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I know, like and then it was funny because
<v Speaker 1>like I went immediately on Priceline and I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 1>let's see what the flights look like, because again, flying
<v Speaker 1>into my very small hometown in North Dakota, it kind
<v Speaker 1>of gets pricey.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, those little puddle, yes, they get.
<v Speaker 2>Price there's not a snowstorm.
<v Speaker 1>So I was hoping like a round trip ticket was
<v Speaker 1>going to be like a g and I could be Mom,
<v Speaker 1>I can't swing it.
<v Speaker 3>It's just too much.
<v Speaker 1>And tickets to North Dakota are two hundred and fifty.
<v Speaker 2>He got a bogo.
<v Speaker 3>Nobody wants to go there.
<v Speaker 1>And so anyway, I was on the phone with her
<v Speaker 1>and yeah, I ended up doing it just to make
<v Speaker 1>her feel better.
<v Speaker 2>And now I'm like, oh, that sucks big time for you.
<v Speaker 3>I have to go home. I have to go to
<v Speaker 3>North Dakota when it's.
<v Speaker 2>Cold over Christmas and it's you alone with your mother.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I love my mom.
<v Speaker 2>Like that, I feel like a fight somehow Ensusode.
<v Speaker 1>It's the cold, Like you get off that plane, it
<v Speaker 1>hits your face like bones.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, like Drew's joke.
<v Speaker 1>Direct, like it's so cold, and so yeah, like I
<v Speaker 1>am dreading now going home.
<v Speaker 3>I am. And here's the thing. Usually when I go.
<v Speaker 1>Home, too, I don't tell people, like it is my
<v Speaker 1>little you know mission where I am. Nobody knows I'm there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm in and out before anybody notices. And my mom
<v Speaker 1>knows this. My mom knows not to spread the news
<v Speaker 1>that I'm coming. And I look on Facebook. Apparently she
<v Speaker 1>got so excited. There's a huge picture of me.
<v Speaker 3>Guess who's covering it off for Christmas? And like fifty
<v Speaker 3>people liked it, so like half the town want to
<v Speaker 3>come see you.
<v Speaker 2>They're going to hop on a moose and come see you.
<v Speaker 1>A snowmobile probably, But oh my gosh, now I have to.
<v Speaker 2>Go home for christ Did you have anything booked at
<v Speaker 2>Santa Fe?
<v Speaker 3>So I did it.
<v Speaker 2>She didn't have to try to canceler back out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I didn't book anything, but it's like your mouth
<v Speaker 1>was already for Santa Fe rctly it was ready food.
<v Speaker 1>I was so excited and just again like the whole
<v Speaker 1>idea of it to go randomly somewhere during the holidays
<v Speaker 1>by yourself, Like I was really like, I was like,
<v Speaker 1>this is the thing I'm doing here, Katie.
<v Speaker 2>Your mom only gets so many Christmases. You only get
<v Speaker 2>so many Christmas. She said you should take her.
<v Speaker 3>I wanted to take her to Santa Fe and she
<v Speaker 3>doesn't like.
<v Speaker 2>To fly, so that's all right. You gotta go.
<v Speaker 3>There was no way around it.
<v Speaker 2>And it's only been four Christmases since you turned eighteen.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you, you gotta go.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Oh you mean four Christmas is total? I thought
<v Speaker 3>you meant it.
<v Speaker 2>You're twenty two. Oh no, God, no, you're way way
<v Speaker 2>past twenty two. Thanks for that, way past ten. I mean, why, sir,
