<v Speaker 1>Jary Katy and Josh six one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>My dad is turning seventy one here this weekend, so
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what to get him. I and we're
<v Speaker 2>getting together like on Saturday, I still have nothing. What
<v Speaker 2>do you what do you get a guy that age
<v Speaker 2>who has everything?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Everything?
<v Speaker 4>It's always so because we were talking about it, like
<v Speaker 4>do you get him sucks and you're like, he has
<v Speaker 4>seventy years full of socks like a kid, Like can
<v Speaker 4>you get him a food thing? Like then you said
<v Speaker 4>that like your mom takes care of his food, Say yeah, yeah, like.
<v Speaker 5>Mom takes trip. When am I going to do?
<v Speaker 3>What?
<v Speaker 5>Show up with a pot roast?
<v Speaker 3>I know?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Like there's not a lot.
<v Speaker 4>And then we were talking about just like maybe adventures,
<v Speaker 4>like what about if he did, like what if he
<v Speaker 4>went to one of those like escape rooms you know,
<v Speaker 4>like people love those.
<v Speaker 3>You gotta buy him experiences.
<v Speaker 2>Now, he was a firefighter for fifty years. That was
<v Speaker 2>his entire life, is going in the room with smoke
<v Speaker 2>and trying to escape him.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, he'll set the rest.
<v Speaker 5>It's not that's not a good he's not a good president.
<v Speaker 5>That'll give him flashbacks like don't do that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that his career was a kind of experiences. Like
<v Speaker 1>maybe you could take him bowling.
<v Speaker 3>By him the summer shooting. Buy him a cruise hunter
<v Speaker 3>because ski shooting will be fun.
<v Speaker 4>What if you bought him like you could have a
<v Speaker 4>trip up to the mountains a little more close.
<v Speaker 3>To the weekend, get away to the mountains. Okay, you're right,
<v Speaker 3>it's hard.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's getting to the point where it's like you've
<v Speaker 2>got somebody who has everything.
<v Speaker 3>Get him a coupon for a free hug anything book.
<v Speaker 1>I will come shovel your driveway that.
<v Speaker 3>Workshop.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I probably should hit up to like
<v Speaker 2>Cabella's or something today and just wander around.
<v Speaker 5>Maybe maybe I spot something. You know, he's an outdoorsman.
<v Speaker 5>Get him a car heart, Oh he's got one one
<v Speaker 5>and another one.
<v Speaker 1>Get him a different car herd. Does he have the jacket?
<v Speaker 2>You could get a he's got all the carts, he's
<v Speaker 2>like me. And gloves where you know, it's it's been
<v Speaker 2>years and years and years of gifts of clothing and
<v Speaker 2>outer wear and you know.
<v Speaker 5>Everything, hoodies, pullovers, hats.
<v Speaker 2>Gloves, And he was going through his closet and he
<v Speaker 2>had like stuff in there, like stacks of stuff with
<v Speaker 2>tags still on it. You know that he's never even
<v Speaker 2>worn and so like he kind of put out the
<v Speaker 2>word like, hey, yeah, I'm good on clothes things. It's
<v Speaker 2>like me, I opened my closet. I've got like a
<v Speaker 2>closet at the house where I just keep my jackets
<v Speaker 2>and hoodies.
<v Speaker 5>I counted them up the other day. This was on
<v Speaker 5>Christmas break eighty six jackets.
<v Speaker 3>What I had?
<v Speaker 5>Eighty six jackets?
<v Speaker 3>You are the warmest person on earth?
<v Speaker 1>Why do you need that many jackets?
<v Speaker 5>That's the thing I don't. So I went through and
<v Speaker 5>I wheedled it down to like sixty.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, well there you go.
<v Speaker 1>That's a good start.
<v Speaker 5>I really did wheedle down.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, I have got to get rid of
<v Speaker 2>some of these, and I donated them there there are,
<v Speaker 2>but it was like talk about living in excess.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is a lot of jackets, snowstorm.
<v Speaker 3>Like.
<v Speaker 5>It's a double door like closet that you can open up.
<v Speaker 2>It was getting to the point where you couldn't close
<v Speaker 2>it because there were so many jackets in there.
<v Speaker 5>And I finally was like enough of this, Yeah enough,
<v Speaker 5>I've got to sort them and get.
<v Speaker 3>Rid of how'd you dwindle it down where you like,
<v Speaker 3>I haven't worn this in two years, or were you
<v Speaker 3>like I just don't like these anymore. I don't know,
<v Speaker 3>I don't for me, yeah, laugh, Yeah exactly, that's what
<v Speaker 3>I do.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, I wheeled it down.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, So there's that, and then one final thing
<v Speaker 2>then I'm going to get to your your horrible Christmas gift.
<v Speaker 2>I promised Nick Knack that I would give her a
<v Speaker 2>shout out today because for twenty years on this morning show,
<v Speaker 2>I have talked about how my wife is a horrible cook,
<v Speaker 2>really bad. She has a hard time cooking mac and
<v Speaker 2>cheese sometimes really bad.
<v Speaker 5>I've mentioned it, Have I said it enough?
<v Speaker 2>Horrible?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've even in just the time I've been here, like.
<v Speaker 5>We know literally the worst, I mean bad.
<v Speaker 2>So she yesterday made something called Italian sausage.
<v Speaker 5>And white bean soup. She made it on the stove.
<v Speaker 5>I went back for.
<v Speaker 2>Thirds, yeah, because it was so damn good, one of
<v Speaker 2>the best winter soups I have ever had. It was
<v Speaker 2>freaking delish. And I told her that last night. I
<v Speaker 2>was like, this is really good. I can't stop eating it.
<v Speaker 5>It's so good, and she was like, Hallelujah, sweet baby Jesus, I've.
<v Speaker 2>Finally done it, and she said, I want you to
<v Speaker 2>go on the air tomorrow until all of Colorado and
<v Speaker 2>everyone else who's listening around the world streaming that.
<v Speaker 5>I actually made a meal that was really good and
<v Speaker 5>you went back for thirds.
<v Speaker 2>So just for a second, I wanted to give Nick
<v Speaker 2>Nack kudos for finally creating one dish that.
<v Speaker 5>Was damn good last night. She deserves the Italian sausage
<v Speaker 5>and white bean soup.
<v Speaker 3>Money sounds great money.
<v Speaker 1>For her too? Is that is a signature recipe for her?
<v Speaker 3>I told her.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, please don't lose this, and she's like, well,
<v Speaker 2>there's got to be an app that I can put
<v Speaker 2>it into.
<v Speaker 5>And I was like, no, let's go old school on
<v Speaker 5>this a recipe card.
<v Speaker 2>She's got a little recipe box which she never uses obviously,
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, write it on a card and
<v Speaker 2>put it in there so we have a hard coffee
<v Speaker 2>copy because this one might want to be passed down
<v Speaker 2>from generation to generation because it's a dang She actually
<v Speaker 2>wrote it down and kept it, so I want to
<v Speaker 2>try it. Don't text it and ask me for the
<v Speaker 2>recipe because I'm not giving it. No I'm keeping this
<v Speaker 2>from close to my heart because Nick Knack did good.
<v Speaker 5>So I hope you should. I hope she's listening. I'm
<v Speaker 5>giving her.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 2>I had to laugh this morning because that was my
<v Speaker 2>night last night. And then Katie wandered in this morning
<v Speaker 2>and she was talking about a Christmas gift that she
<v Speaker 2>finally opened.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Josh, I love you. I love me so much.
<v Speaker 1>I actually when you gave me this gift.
<v Speaker 4>It I opened it and I was so excited because
<v Speaker 4>he gave me a little waterfall that.
<v Speaker 1>You can put on the table, right, little personal waterfall.
<v Speaker 1>And I expl everybody when he got it from all.
<v Speaker 1>I love waterfalls.
<v Speaker 4>I do. I chase waterfalls. I'm actually planning on going
<v Speaker 4>to a waterfall this weekend. And Josh actually got me
<v Speaker 4>another gift that was waterfall themed, a cup that turned
<v Speaker 4>into a like you just have always went down that
<v Speaker 4>vein for me, like you always do the waterfall gifts,
<v Speaker 4>and I love it. And so I opened this gift
<v Speaker 4>and I'm like, wow, nobody's ever gotten me a waterfall
<v Speaker 4>that I could just put on my table.
<v Speaker 3>And I was so excited.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, nobody's ever done this, and I love it.
<v Speaker 4>And I went home and I opened it, and immediately
<v Speaker 4>when I opened it, there's a little disclaimer on it
<v Speaker 4>that says, hey, just so you know, when you open this,
<v Speaker 4>you have to take.
<v Speaker 1>It completely apart. You have to wash all of the
<v Speaker 1>pieces rocks included, and then you have to dry it.
<v Speaker 4>Make sure they're all dry, and take a cue tip
<v Speaker 4>and make sure like any dust part down.
<v Speaker 1>Any dust particles can screw up this waterfall. And I
<v Speaker 1>was just like, okay. When Josh gave it to me,
<v Speaker 1>he said, and the person who gave me this said,
<v Speaker 1>it's complete, easy setup, like you just plug it in,
<v Speaker 1>you don't have to clean it. It's fabulous.
<v Speaker 3>It's for you. And I was.
<v Speaker 1>I was so excited, and so I open it and
<v Speaker 1>the disclaimer first thing says that I.
<v Speaker 5>Was like, okay, okay, wash the wash together, which.
<v Speaker 1>Is fine, right, Like I can do that one time and.
<v Speaker 4>Get deeper in there, and I start reading the instructions
<v Speaker 4>and it says, well, also, you know, the number one
<v Speaker 4>complain about this thing is the noise.
<v Speaker 1>So the pump, I guess, starts making up. So it's
<v Speaker 1>not so much tranquility and peacefulness, but what is that sound?
<v Speaker 5>And with those water feature type things.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, they're pretty decent for about two to three
<v Speaker 2>months and then they start getting all calci and build
<v Speaker 2>up and then it and it is.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and it's funny because then it goes on and
<v Speaker 4>it says, you also have to water this thing every day.
<v Speaker 4>If the water level ever gets to lower a mount,
<v Speaker 4>it could burn out your pump like cause fire hazards.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, whoa, yes, I know, and so uh
<v Speaker 4>it said that you need to water it every day,
<v Speaker 4>and then to avoid the the.
<v Speaker 1>You have to clean it with that Q tip every week.
<v Speaker 1>You have to take it apart, clean it, make sure
<v Speaker 1>it's all dry.
<v Speaker 5>Probably that's exactly what she says. She's like, so Josh
<v Speaker 5>got me a pet.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, what Josh got you gottabably get in
<v Speaker 2>there with like a vinegar wash beach washed.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, to wash it.
<v Speaker 4>And the thing is is it is beautiful. It is
<v Speaker 4>so pretty on the box, it is so pretty. But
<v Speaker 4>I thought that I was just going to open it,
<v Speaker 4>put it on my and turn it on, turn it on.
<v Speaker 4>I did not know why you got it from my Kia.
<v Speaker 5>High maintenance.
<v Speaker 1>I know, And I thought it was so funny because
<v Speaker 1>I was so excited when I got it and I
<v Speaker 1>told him.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, Josh, I went home and I cleared
<v Speaker 4>off a table and put all my water stuff, waterfall
<v Speaker 4>stuff on it, and your waterfall is going to.
<v Speaker 1>Be the centerpiece of that table. It's still cleared off.
<v Speaker 3>Waiting for the water makes me feel so bad.
<v Speaker 1>And my table is full of the pieces for me
<v Speaker 1>to watch a picture.
<v Speaker 5>Of it, it's just part are contemplating is this worth it?
<v Speaker 4>No?
<v Speaker 1>I still haven't set it up yet because.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, maybe return turn it. Yeah, I was ma
<v Speaker 3>give it back.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I kind of ripped the box too.
<v Speaker 5>That's at hopefully it doesn't put some packing tape on it.
<v Speaker 1>I still do really like it though. That's what stinks
<v Speaker 1>is I like, just turn on.
<v Speaker 5>Your kitchen faucet, let it run. It sound exactly the same, easier,
<v Speaker 5>Just turn.
<v Speaker 1>On your kitchen fossil no tranquility.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, return immediately
