<v Speaker 1>Oh r, and you happy that we are not getting
<v Speaker 1>the match that was rumored that we all thought that
<v Speaker 1>there was a very real possibility, even just a little
<v Speaker 1>while ago, that we may be heading towards Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>and Cody Rhodes Part three at WrestleMania this year. And
<v Speaker 1>it did not take very long after Roman Reigns won
<v Speaker 1>the Royal Rumble on Saturday to find out which championship
<v Speaker 1>he would be challenging for in Las Vegas or WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>of forty two. And it will not be the WWE title.
<v Speaker 1>So regardless of whether or not Cody Roads wins the
<v Speaker 1>Belt back between now and then, which you probably won't,
<v Speaker 1>we do not have to worry that we are gonna
<v Speaker 1>get Roman Cody three at WrestleMania here for the third
<v Speaker 1>time in four years. We're not getting it, and that
<v Speaker 1>is a good thing. Roman Reigns and Live Morgan, we're
<v Speaker 1>your Royal Rumble winners this year. They were both on
<v Speaker 1>the show tonight and we didn't get a decision one
<v Speaker 1>way or the other as far as Live Morgan what
<v Speaker 1>her plans are, although we got a hint. I think
<v Speaker 1>we all know which championship she's gonna be challenging for
<v Speaker 1>We had Roman Reigns in decline closing segment on what
<v Speaker 1>I thought was an otherwise very dull show, and he
<v Speaker 1>comes out in the last fifteen minutes of this show.
<v Speaker 1>He and CM Punk were able to single handedly turn
<v Speaker 1>the ship around here and give us what we did
<v Speaker 1>not have for the rest of the night, which was
<v Speaker 1>a truly memorable segment that sold me on their match
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. We are getting the Zebros at WrestleMania this
<v Speaker 1>year will be Roman Ranged challenging for a championship that
<v Speaker 1>at one time, he said, was nowhere near the level
<v Speaker 1>of the WWE title. It was little brother compared to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Championship. And he also made the comment that
<v Speaker 1>if you wanted to add value to the championship, the
<v Speaker 1>way that you go about doing that is you have
<v Speaker 1>me challenged for it. Now he's going to have the
<v Speaker 1>opportunity to because he is going to be challenging CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk for the Big Gold Belt to wrestle Mania this year.
<v Speaker 1>And as far as Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble,
<v Speaker 1>I made my thoughts very clear on that whole show
<v Speaker 1>the other night, and Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>from the perspective of someone who is part time at best.
<v Speaker 1>These days, we don't get to see Roman Reigns very often.
<v Speaker 1>To have Roman Reigns go in there and win the
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble and claim what will be a record eleventh
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania main event, He's going to break his own record
<v Speaker 1>this year in terms of WrestleMania main events. It just
<v Speaker 1>felt to me like, is this a situation that we
<v Speaker 1>want to find ourselves in where we have someone going
<v Speaker 1>into the WrestleMania main event and we can't even count
<v Speaker 1>on the fact that we're going to have him on
<v Speaker 1>television in the lead up to WrestleMania. You look back
<v Speaker 1>to last year with John Cena, we kind of had
<v Speaker 1>the same problem where Sena had a certain number of dates,
<v Speaker 1>so he made some appearances, but he wasn't around as
<v Speaker 1>much as you would like, especially in the aftermath of
<v Speaker 1>the heel turn, and it can really have a sour
<v Speaker 1>effect on the build up and on the promotion of WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the future looks like over these
<v Speaker 1>next couple of months with Roman Reigns. I don't expect
<v Speaker 1>him on TV every week, but how often are we
<v Speaker 1>going to have him on the show between now in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of April. I don't know, that's my fear.
<v Speaker 1>Tonight was a home run. But what are the next
<v Speaker 1>two months looked like? Right? That remains to be seen.
<v Speaker 1>This is not the first time that Roman reigns and
<v Speaker 1>see them Punk are going to find themselves in the
<v Speaker 1>ring together of WrestleMania. It was just last year they
<v Speaker 1>were in the Night one main event together, but there
<v Speaker 1>was Seth Rollins who was also thrown in there, and
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins was the one who actually walked away the
<v Speaker 1>winner in that match. So Punk and Roman, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>forget their pass from many years ago in the Shield days.
<v Speaker 1>Neither man can claim to have a real victory over
<v Speaker 1>the other here. So at least this year it does
<v Speaker 1>feel fresh because one on one, it's just a totally
<v Speaker 1>different dynamic. The focus can be on the two of them.
<v Speaker 1>The focus last year was on Haman. Where does his
<v Speaker 1>allegiance lie? Right? Everyone was vying for the heart of
<v Speaker 1>Paul Hayman. That was the story going into WrestleMania this year.
<v Speaker 1>The story this year has nothing to do with Paul Haman.
<v Speaker 1>The story is very much about the two men who
<v Speaker 1>are wrestling for the title and the history that the
<v Speaker 1>two of them have together, and that was at the
<v Speaker 1>heart of the promo that closed Monday Night Robed Tonight.
<v Speaker 1>It was, in my opinion, the greatest promo of Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reign's career, and it just so happened that he was
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with somebody who is still very much
<v Speaker 1>one of the best promos in all of wrestling. And
<v Speaker 1>you could talk about Punk's and ring work, and he's
<v Speaker 1>older and he's slower, and all of that is true,
<v Speaker 1>but Punk, you know, one thing that still works is
<v Speaker 1>the guy's mouth when he's got a microphone in the ring. Right.
<v Speaker 1>He's still one of the best promos in wrestling. So
<v Speaker 1>when you're in there with him, you need to be
<v Speaker 1>on your a game. And we've seen some great promo
<v Speaker 1>stuff from Punk, we Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, but
<v Speaker 1>we just haven't heard a lot from Roman Reigns. He
<v Speaker 1>needed to be in the ring with someone like Cmpunk
<v Speaker 1>to help up his game, to have somebody to play
<v Speaker 1>off of, and there's a lot of history there for
<v Speaker 1>the two of them to play off of. And we
<v Speaker 1>heard that and saw that in the closing segment here
<v Speaker 1>and in one promo here we heard them talk about
<v Speaker 1>their history, going back to the Shield days, and Punk
<v Speaker 1>talking about how I brought you in here when you
<v Speaker 1>were part of the Shield. I love going back in
<v Speaker 1>time and talking about how all of this came together,
<v Speaker 1>tying all of this history together. And then you got
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns turning around and putting it back on him
<v Speaker 1>and saying, you leaving ten, eleven, twelve years ago, whatever
<v Speaker 1>it was, I guess twelve years ago now at this point,
<v Speaker 1>that made my life so much harder than it needed
<v Speaker 1>to be. He actually made life very hard for a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people who had to go out there a
<v Speaker 1>week after a week and contend with chance of CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk during their promos and during their matches for many years.
<v Speaker 1>And Roman was the poster child of that, because Roman
<v Speaker 1>was the chosen one, and Roman was the one who
<v Speaker 1>was being shoved down people's throat votes, and there was
<v Speaker 1>an all out rebellion by a certain segment of the
<v Speaker 1>audience who just didn't want it. They rejected it, and
<v Speaker 1>they rejected it in part because he wasn't CM Punk,
<v Speaker 1>because he wasn't Daniel Brian. Right. We can go back
<v Speaker 1>in the history, you know, in the history Bank and
<v Speaker 1>talk all about that. So I like the fact that
<v Speaker 1>they were drawing off a lot of their history here
<v Speaker 1>and the intensity that we saw, in particular from Roman Reigns,
<v Speaker 1>because Punk was doing his thing out there when things
<v Speaker 1>got started, but it was when Roman had the opportunity
<v Speaker 1>to respond and throw it right back in his face.
<v Speaker 1>You could see where it's sort of built, it built,
<v Speaker 1>until finally he was able to just go all out
<v Speaker 1>at Punk. And Punk did fine. I mean, Punk was
<v Speaker 1>great here, but the real highlight of this segment was
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns, who made it very clear I don't like you.
<v Speaker 1>I hate you, and you talk about, you know, following
<v Speaker 1>in my footsteps. He's talking about the fact that you know,
<v Speaker 1>you come back after all these years and you my
<v Speaker 1>wise men, and you try to brainwash my family and
<v Speaker 1>you almost had me brainwashed. And there's just an intensity
<v Speaker 1>in his voice that we have not seen in a
<v Speaker 1>very long time, where he was getting viscerally angry. And
<v Speaker 1>they worked the Pat McAfee interview the other day into
<v Speaker 1>the promo. Now, I said, when I talked about Roman's
<v Speaker 1>comments the other day from that interview, I said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>sounded like he was mostly you know, in character but
<v Speaker 1>there were still some things that he said in that
<v Speaker 1>promo that I think were valid in terms of WWE creative.
<v Speaker 1>There was definitely some truth laced into that little promo
<v Speaker 1>that he cut there, but clearly it was designed as
<v Speaker 1>storylined and something that they were going to bring up
<v Speaker 1>here on this show, especially when Punk brought up the
<v Speaker 1>fact that Roman was talking about, you know, you talk
<v Speaker 1>about the roster needs to step up, you take your
<v Speaker 1>quarterly vacations. I'm being very magnanimous, I'm stepping away. I'm
<v Speaker 1>giving people a chance to step up, and that all
<v Speaker 1>came into play in the promo here tonight. Again, it's
<v Speaker 1>no surprise that Roman would go out there and be
<v Speaker 1>able to cut the best promo that I have ever
<v Speaker 1>heard him cut when he was face to face with Cempunk,
<v Speaker 1>who tends to bring the best that of people when
<v Speaker 1>they are going at it on the microphone, and we
<v Speaker 1>saw that in the feud we Drew McIntyre. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it was the perfect foil. That's a big part of
<v Speaker 1>what made that whole feud so great that in the
<v Speaker 1>social media stuff that Drew was doing right, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it was just on point. But it's been a while
<v Speaker 1>since Punk has really had someone like this, someone great
<v Speaker 1>like this to spar with. I would love to have
<v Speaker 1>more of this on the road to WrestleMania. I would
<v Speaker 1>love to have at least a couple more segments like
<v Speaker 1>this between now in mid April, and I really hope
<v Speaker 1>that this is not the best that we're going to
<v Speaker 1>get before we get to Las Vegas. And if we
<v Speaker 1>can get more of this sort of thing, and if
<v Speaker 1>we can get more compelling segments like this, then you
<v Speaker 1>know what, it'll be worth it. But it's still a
<v Speaker 1>fear of mine that we don't know how much of
<v Speaker 1>Roman reigns we are going to see. Now there's another
<v Speaker 1>question here that comes along with this. Now that we
<v Speaker 1>know what the wrestle A main event is going to be,
<v Speaker 1>there are people who will look at last year and go, well,
<v Speaker 1>you know, see, I'm punk got the headline his first WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>but that's not really the WrestleMania Maine event. It's Night
<v Speaker 1>one and that doesn't count. Now, I think that's bullshit,
<v Speaker 1>but there are a lot of people who feel that way.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you're gonna need to worry about that
<v Speaker 1>this year, because not yet knowing what the Drew McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>match is going to be for the other belt. Seem
<v Speaker 1>pretty clear to me watching this show here tonight what
<v Speaker 1>the nighte two main event of WrestleMania is going to be.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that there is a match they can
<v Speaker 1>do on the SmackDown side that is going to be
<v Speaker 1>able to in terms of the star power that they
<v Speaker 1>have in this match, And then you watch this promo here,
<v Speaker 1>there's no match that I could think of in terms
<v Speaker 1>of Cody and Drew, Cody and Drew and Jacob, Cody
<v Speaker 1>Andrew and Drew and Jacob and Randy. Maybe right it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be some combination of that. God forbid, it's
<v Speaker 1>just another singles match between Cody and Drew because we've
<v Speaker 1>had enough of those. This right here is your Night
<v Speaker 1>two WrestleMania Maine event. So for the first time, I
<v Speaker 1>epect to see the World Heavyweight Championship truly headlining of
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania because that is typically the spot that Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>is in. It wasn't last year, but typically that is
<v Speaker 1>the spot you would expect to find him in any way,
<v Speaker 1>So that is what I expect the Night two match
<v Speaker 1>to be this year. But you know, again, Roman telling
<v Speaker 1>Oshae Jackson Junior on his podcast last year that if
<v Speaker 1>you want to make the world title mean something, you
<v Speaker 1>have me fight for it. You know, if Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>was to go in there and win the World Heavyweight Championship,
<v Speaker 1>which there's certainly a possibility that it could happen, what
<v Speaker 1>does that look like if Roman actually goes in there
<v Speaker 1>and wins the bell. How often are we going to
<v Speaker 1>see Roman Reigns coming out of WrestleMania. Because if Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns goes in there this year and loses at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>that would be three straight WrestleManias that Roman has lost.
<v Speaker 1>Do we really expect to see Roman Reigns losing in
<v Speaker 1>three straight WrestleManias. That's the question. That's why I sit
<v Speaker 1>here and say, you know what, there's there's definitely the
<v Speaker 1>possibility that they could put that championship on him, and
<v Speaker 1>if we got this version of Roman Reigns more often
<v Speaker 1>on TV. This is what I'm talking about. The rest
<v Speaker 1>of this show was largely a bore. It was a
<v Speaker 1>bore until we got to the closing segment and you
<v Speaker 1>see the greatness that is there if you can just
<v Speaker 1>find the right story to pull it out. It's this
<v Speaker 1>sort of thing that these television shows are missing. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you can't do a promo like this every single week,
<v Speaker 1>but this is the sort of thing that this show
<v Speaker 1>is lacking. And that's one of my biggest gripes about
<v Speaker 1>some of these big names that come in and they're
<v Speaker 1>not you know, they're there for two weeks and they
<v Speaker 1>disappear for two months. It just drags the shows down.
<v Speaker 1>You know, there's a reason why they were in the
<v Speaker 1>spot they're in, but when they're not on the show,
<v Speaker 1>but the show is still kind of built around them
<v Speaker 1>and we're watching week to week. I mean, when was
<v Speaker 1>the last time we had a promo segment like this,
<v Speaker 1>Probably going back to the Drew MacIntyre cmpunk stuff and
<v Speaker 1>that was two years ago at this point. Maybe some
<v Speaker 1>of the John Cena stuff last year, but it's few
<v Speaker 1>and far between. So that was another takeaway. When I
<v Speaker 1>was done watching this, I'm like, man, this right here
<v Speaker 1>is the sort of thing that Raw desperately needs more of.
<v Speaker 1>Because I'm watching this promo and as great as it is,
<v Speaker 1>you got the impression watching it, and it's just they
<v Speaker 1>were just very good at what they did, but you
<v Speaker 1>got the impression watching it, like, man, you know, this
<v Speaker 1>guy really doesn't like this guy. You know, it comes
<v Speaker 1>off as like this genuine hate between them, and it
<v Speaker 1>feels like there's some real tension there. That's what this
<v Speaker 1>show is lacking. This show is lacking that feeling of
<v Speaker 1>real tension between the different people on the show. And
<v Speaker 1>we got that in the closing segment outshined everything else
<v Speaker 1>so that we had on this television show. Now, we
<v Speaker 1>had a Women's World Championship street fight. They were in Philadelphia,
<v Speaker 1>and the Philadelphia fans could not be bothered to give
<v Speaker 1>a single solitary shit about most of that match or
<v Speaker 1>really a lot of different things on the show, and
<v Speaker 1>it was not a great match. They had a WWE
<v Speaker 1>style hardcore plunder match. I feel like if you've seen one,
<v Speaker 1>you've seen them all. There were certain moments in the
<v Speaker 1>match that did not exactly go according to plan. Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>is still the World Champion Live Morgan laid her out.
<v Speaker 1>We had that parting shot of her holding up the
<v Speaker 1>world title. She's going to SmackDown on Friday Night to
<v Speaker 1>survey the WWE champion in Jade Cargil. But again, it
<v Speaker 1>seems pretty clear where things are going to land. As
<v Speaker 1>far as the women's world title matcher WrestleMania is concerned.
<v Speaker 1>How Raquel fits into that after losing tonight, that's another thing.
<v Speaker 1>We'll have to see how that plays out. The show
<v Speaker 1>started off in what I thought was a great way.
<v Speaker 1>I actually had high hopes when this show came on
<v Speaker 1>the air tonight because they had this cold open with
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker just going absolutely fucking nuts. After what happened
<v Speaker 1>to the Rumble, I'm like, again, this is the sort
<v Speaker 1>of thing we need to see more of on this show.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they're stepping outside there their comfort zone here
<v Speaker 1>and the way they opened things, and it gave me hope.
<v Speaker 1>And then I saw the rest of the show up
<v Speaker 1>until the closing fifteen minutes and I was like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>psych they faked me out because what we got again
<v Speaker 1>was very uninspired. But we didn't get any sort of
<v Speaker 1>further clarity on the whole mass man angle from the
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble. I mean, they're gonna drag that out as
<v Speaker 1>long as they possibly can. Obafemi still has not made
<v Speaker 1>his decision on where he's going to land. The story
<v Speaker 1>is that both general managers are just tripping over themselves
<v Speaker 1>trying to sign him as they should. What they did
<v Speaker 1>with him tonight was very curious. I would be very
<v Speaker 1>worried if I were the people that were in the
<v Speaker 1>ring with him. So we're going to talk about that
<v Speaker 1>and the other things that happen on this show. Not
<v Speaker 1>a whole hell of a lot, but we're going to
<v Speaker 1>talk about it. This is your Raw on Netflix review.
<v Speaker 1>It is the post Royal Rumble edition of Raw. It
<v Speaker 1>is Groundhog Day twenty twenty six. I am the sol Monster. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even check. I thought I saw that the
<v Speaker 1>groundhog saw his shadow, that furry little fucker. I think
<v Speaker 1>that means six more weeks of winter, just what we need.
<v Speaker 1>But if I'm wrong, let me know. I think he
<v Speaker 1>saw his shadow though, So that's that sucks. Like and
<v Speaker 1>subscribe super chats are open and we have a bonus
<v Speaker 1>goal going on in the chat. Well, let's get into
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of this show here instead of the usual start,
<v Speaker 1>and again, I really like the way they opened the
<v Speaker 1>show instead of the usual open to Raw or going
<v Speaker 1>right into a Royal Rumbull highlights video. The show opens
<v Speaker 1>and there's bron Breaker and he's standing at ringside and
<v Speaker 1>he's walking. He's already at ringside. He's walking towards the
<v Speaker 1>area where the announced desk is and Michael Cole is
<v Speaker 1>on commentary talking about what's going on here, and he
<v Speaker 1>marches over there. He tears up the announced desk. He
<v Speaker 1>threatens Michael Cole, he threatens Corey Graves. Then he overturns
<v Speaker 1>the announced desk. We haven't even gotten to the first
<v Speaker 1>match yet. The announced desk is gone, the flat panels
<v Speaker 1>are on the ground. Everything is on the ground. He
<v Speaker 1>demands a microphone. He didn't demand a microphone as forcefully
<v Speaker 1>as his uncle did when he debuted at the Survivor
<v Speaker 1>series in two thousand and two. If you remember what
<v Speaker 1>Scott Steiner said when he asked for a microphone. Oh man.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, Breaker got into the ring and he starts speaking,
<v Speaker 1>and the other members of the vision, no music or anything.
<v Speaker 1>They're just they're marching down to the ring to try
<v Speaker 1>to calm him down. So they get into the ring
<v Speaker 1>and he calls out Adam Pierce, Paul Hayman in the vision.
<v Speaker 1>They're begging him to calm down. Breaker accuses Pearce of
<v Speaker 1>ruining his Royal Rumble appearance, so he threatened to ruin
<v Speaker 1>night raw. He's going to ruin the whole show if
<v Speaker 1>you missed the Royal Rumble and don't know what this
<v Speaker 1>is in reference to bron Breaker entered at number two
<v Speaker 1>on Saturday. Before he even got to the ring, he
<v Speaker 1>got jumped by a masked man. Triple h loves his
<v Speaker 1>hooded figures, and this individual gave him a curb stomp
<v Speaker 1>on the floor, put him in the ring and then
<v Speaker 1>he was promptly eliminated by Obafemi. Pretty embarrassing. So bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker was the first man eliminated in the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that he spent more than ten seconds
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, so he was very upset about this.
<v Speaker 1>Hayman took the microphone. The vision is trying to talk
<v Speaker 1>Breaker down. Hayman said that this was all Adam Pearce's fault.
<v Speaker 1>Pierce has to approve every visa for this trip to
<v Speaker 1>Saudi Arabia, so he had to know who the mass
<v Speaker 1>man was. And he also accused Pierce again of making
<v Speaker 1>Braun the number two entrance. He blamed him for that.
<v Speaker 1>Breaker grabbed the microphone and he gave Pierce until the
<v Speaker 1>count of three to come out. And he counted one.
<v Speaker 1>He counted two. Adam Pierce then comes out. He's just
<v Speaker 1>guarded by a wall of security standing in front of
<v Speaker 1>him in the aisle, and Pierce reminded them that the
<v Speaker 1>rumble drawing was random. You chose number two, okay, so
<v Speaker 1>you can't blame me for that. It was random. You
<v Speaker 1>picked the number. That's on you. He also brought up
<v Speaker 1>the mass man stuff, and he said, now, the last
<v Speaker 1>time we saw the mask man, it turned out to
<v Speaker 1>be Austin theory. And Breaker turned to theory like he
<v Speaker 1>was wondering, Hey, wait a minute, and you see Bronson
<v Speaker 1>reed just you know, talking to Breaker, going it's not him,
<v Speaker 1>don't worry, it's not him. Pierce said, though, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>give you a gift and I'm gonna let you keep
<v Speaker 1>your job after that piss poor performance at the rumble,
<v Speaker 1>So Breaker snapped. At that point, he scrambled up the aisle.
<v Speaker 1>He actually in getting out of the ring. He was
<v Speaker 1>so intent on getting to Adam Pearce. He actually tripped
<v Speaker 1>getting out of the ring and almost fell flat on
<v Speaker 1>his face, but he got back up to his feet.
<v Speaker 1>He went down the aisle and he was stopped by
<v Speaker 1>Bronson Reid before he could tear through the security. Pierce
<v Speaker 1>at that point disappeared. All of a sudden, we hear
<v Speaker 1>La Knight's music and La Knight he appeared from the
<v Speaker 1>crowd in the ring. He blindsides Austin Theory and Logan
<v Speaker 1>Paul with chair shots. Bronson rechased them off, and a
<v Speaker 1>very upset bron Breaker still in the aisle is looking
<v Speaker 1>at Paul Hayman and going what are we doing here?
<v Speaker 1>What are we doing here? And at that point security
<v Speaker 1>sort of part of the Red Sea and they allowed
<v Speaker 1>Breaker to head to the back without incident, and then
<v Speaker 1>at that point they pitched it to the the Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble Highlights video. So I thought that this was a
<v Speaker 1>great start to the show. I love this cold open.
<v Speaker 1>I love it when they go outside the box in
<v Speaker 1>terms of how they opened these shows. They do something different.
<v Speaker 1>They make it feel like man, something like a very
<v Speaker 1>tense situation. Here. This guy he's gonna snap, There's no
<v Speaker 1>telling what he's gonna do. It kind of reminded me
<v Speaker 1>there were many years ago, if you remember, after Wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Mannie at thirty one, that was where seth Rollins cash
<v Speaker 1>in his money in the bank. Brock Lesner came out
<v Speaker 1>on Raw the very next night, and he was already
<v Speaker 1>in his I remember being in the crowd and when
<v Speaker 1>Brock came out, the pop that he got just for
<v Speaker 1>being in his gear, just the idea that, holy shit,
<v Speaker 1>he's gonna wrestle on Raw. People couldn't believe it. But
<v Speaker 1>he was just so beside himself after what happened the
<v Speaker 1>night before. He was ready to murder somebody. And they
<v Speaker 1>gave us that phony match with him and Rollins that
<v Speaker 1>never really got started, and Rollins ran off and Brock
<v Speaker 1>was just looking for people to kill. Remember he gave
<v Speaker 1>Michael Cole and F five a shoe went flying, he
<v Speaker 1>beat up this planted camera and so it's been a
<v Speaker 1>while since we've had a a segment like that on
<v Speaker 1>the show. Here and Breaker. I thought he was very
<v Speaker 1>you know, menacing out there as he should be, as
<v Speaker 1>he should be. This is exactly the sort of thing
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to see them do with him coming out
<v Speaker 1>of the rumble, because why wouldn't he be embarrassed. He
<v Speaker 1>should be ready to murder Adam Pierce or whoever the
<v Speaker 1>mass man is. Again we still don't know, So I
<v Speaker 1>thought they handled this very well here. Again, we didn't
<v Speaker 1>get any more clarity on who the mass man is.
<v Speaker 1>That'll come in due time. They're gonna milk that for
<v Speaker 1>a little while longer. I also love how Adam Piers
<v Speaker 1>could not have possibly given less of a shit about
<v Speaker 1>how upset bron Breaker was and just mouthing off to
<v Speaker 1>him like a wise ass. He's got some brass balls,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when the GM has some balls and stands
<v Speaker 1>up to these guys. I liked that, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>like that. I think that's great. I think Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>is actually great in this role. He's already been doing
<v Speaker 1>this for what five years. I think he's been in
<v Speaker 1>this role going back to the thunderdel era, and even
<v Speaker 1>I think before that he's been the raw I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they were calling him the GM at that point,
<v Speaker 1>but he's basically been the raw GM, probably longer than
<v Speaker 1>anybody else has been. Right, We've had a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>people in this role. I don't know that any of
<v Speaker 1>them have been in that position longer than Adam Pierce.
<v Speaker 1>So he certainly has an argument for being the best
<v Speaker 1>GM they've ever had here on this show. I used
<v Speaker 1>to say it was Eric Bischoff, but even Bischoff was
<v Speaker 1>only in that role for what three years before Vince
<v Speaker 1>put him in the back of the garbage truck and
<v Speaker 1>off he went. So I thought Pierce actually here was great.
<v Speaker 1>I would say that he's got a beating coming, but
<v Speaker 1>that would require them to then at least suspend him,
<v Speaker 1>and we already got the angle where he was suspended,
<v Speaker 1>so I don't really see the point in doing that again.
<v Speaker 1>But it just feels like they're building to some sort
<v Speaker 1>of confrontation between him and Adam Pierce, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>think it's a match, So I'm not sure what else
<v Speaker 1>short of him killing him. I'm not really sure what
<v Speaker 1>else can be done here. But I just loved how
<v Speaker 1>sarcastic he was. So he had Javon Evans. He was
<v Speaker 1>out there for the opening match against El Grande Americano.
<v Speaker 1>This was the match if you remember, that was stopped
<v Speaker 1>two weeks ago when it looked like Evans might have
<v Speaker 1>been injured, which thankfully he wasn't. Evans had a rap
<v Speaker 1>on his right elbow, he had some kinisio tape on
<v Speaker 1>the back of his neck, he was holding his ribs,
<v Speaker 1>and he was like the walking wounded out there, but
<v Speaker 1>he didn't wrestle like it. He was wrestling like nothing
<v Speaker 1>was wrong, but you would think that he had various injuries.
<v Speaker 1>He was the Iron Man and the Men's Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>this year, which was forty one minutes, which I mean
<v Speaker 1>it's you know, it's a decent amount of time. Usually
<v Speaker 1>when you think of these Ironman records, you know it's
<v Speaker 1>closer to an hour. Charlotte Charlotte, Actually she didn't. She
<v Speaker 1>won the Rumble last year. Charlotte was probably in the
<v Speaker 1>women's Rumble for about an hour. Roxan Perez was in
<v Speaker 1>the final two last year she was in there for
<v Speaker 1>like sixty seven minutes. So forty one minutes was the
<v Speaker 1>longest in the men's rumble this year. That belonged to
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans. There was a quarkscrew kick at one point
<v Speaker 1>here to Americano's spine as he was down on all
<v Speaker 1>fours and he just came down on him with this kick.
<v Speaker 1>So the red dot connected, which is that rebound kick
<v Speaker 1>that he does off the ropes. Later on, it looked
<v Speaker 1>like he was going coast to coast, and I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I guess he did. He did a swanton from one
<v Speaker 1>corner to the other in his foot caught Kaiser in
<v Speaker 1>the head on the way down, and with Kaiser down,
<v Speaker 1>Evans went to the top when Ryo Americano he got
<v Speaker 1>up on the apron to distract a referee, Chad Patten,
<v Speaker 1>which allowed Bravo to crotch Evans and then he fell
<v Speaker 1>down into the ring. Ryo then slipped the metal plate
<v Speaker 1>to Kaiser and as this was going on, we hear
<v Speaker 1>the og El Grande Americanos music as we did during
<v Speaker 1>the Royal Rumble on Saturday, and outwalks Gable Americano, who
<v Speaker 1>again is sporting a goatee or a beard you could
<v Speaker 1>see under the mask. This was his raw return for
<v Speaker 1>the first time in many months, and all he did
<v Speaker 1>was come out and he posed and you know, he
<v Speaker 1>put his fingers in the air, thank you, and he's
<v Speaker 1>standing on stage and this of course distracts the other Americanos,
<v Speaker 1>and the referee during all of this sees the metal plate,
<v Speaker 1>so he confiscates it. That allows Evans to come off
<v Speaker 1>the top, way off the top, and he catches Kaiser
<v Speaker 1>Americano coming down with a cutter, the og cutter for
<v Speaker 1>the wind. Nothing happened after the match, I mean the
<v Speaker 1>three Three Amigos, the three Americanos in the ring, they
<v Speaker 1>just made mean faces under their masks and they pointed
<v Speaker 1>at Gable Americano in the aisle. There were some aw
<v Speaker 1>word periods of silence during this match, which was kind
<v Speaker 1>of strange. It almost felt like Cole and Graves thought
<v Speaker 1>they were going to a commercial break and then they didn't.
<v Speaker 1>But to be fair, I mean, I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>they had yet reconstructed the announced desk. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they had their desk and their monitors back yet, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure that probably had something to do with it.
<v Speaker 1>As far as where this goes, First of all, let
<v Speaker 1>me just say finally, good to have Chad Gable back,
<v Speaker 1>and this guy is fucking ripped him. He is just
<v Speaker 1>ripped to shreds. Obviously we're going to get a mask
<v Speaker 1>versus mask match. I mean, that has to be where
<v Speaker 1>this is ultimately leading. Now. The only thing is Kaiser
<v Speaker 1>is super over as a babyface doing this gimmick in Mexico.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever he shows up in Triple A, I cannot imagine
<v Speaker 1>that they're going to want to take that mask off
<v Speaker 1>of him many time soon. So the earliest we get
<v Speaker 1>this match this should be a WrestleMania match. But if
<v Speaker 1>we get that match of WrestleMania, I would think that
<v Speaker 1>probably Kaiser is going to win, because again, he's just
<v Speaker 1>so over. I wouldn't think that they're ready to abandon
<v Speaker 1>the gimmick just yet. And there's another reason also to
<v Speaker 1>not abandon the gimmick for him, which is that Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable does not need to be El Grande Americano anymore.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it was like, haha, it was kind of
<v Speaker 1>cute at first, and now it's gone on for so long.
<v Speaker 1>I know, he just came back. Let Chad Gable be
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable, do this stuff until get to WrestleMania. Let
<v Speaker 1>him get the WrestleMania match out of it. You could
<v Speaker 1>do mask versus mask. I think if you do it,
<v Speaker 1>Gable should be the one who gets unmasked. That way,
<v Speaker 1>Kaiser can keep doing his thing in Triple A and
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable can move on to something else and let
<v Speaker 1>the man be himself because this is beneath him at
<v Speaker 1>this point. So tie up this loose end, finish out
<v Speaker 1>this story, get that mask off of him. Let Kaiser
<v Speaker 1>run with it because he took the ball with this
<v Speaker 1>thing and he ran with it, so let him keep
<v Speaker 1>doing it and get gable the hell out of that mask.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully that's the same eye that they have in their
<v Speaker 1>head now. After a commercial break, this was great. They
<v Speaker 1>played AJ Styles music and I'm like, oh, he wasn't
<v Speaker 1>advertised for the show, but this makes sense. If he
<v Speaker 1>is retired, we should hear from him. We got no speech,
<v Speaker 1>we got no prombo. We have not heard a word
<v Speaker 1>from Aj Styles since the Royal Rumble when he lost
<v Speaker 1>to Gunther. So they play his music and it's not
<v Speaker 1>AJ Styles, it is Gunther. The only thing I wished
<v Speaker 1>about what they did here is that Gunther would have
<v Speaker 1>had special gloves made like with his logo on them
<v Speaker 1>to do the thing that aj does with his hands.
<v Speaker 1>That's the only thing that would have made this better.
<v Speaker 1>But he walks out and he does the AJ pos
<v Speaker 1>and he's just got this huge shit eating grin on
<v Speaker 1>his face. It was fucking great. He just he trolled
<v Speaker 1>the shit out of these people and then they transitioned
<v Speaker 1>into his themes. So he got more heat for this
<v Speaker 1>than he did for tapping out John Cena. Okay, he
<v Speaker 1>got a good amount of heat for this. And also
<v Speaker 1>now when he comes out. They have the words career
<v Speaker 1>Killer on the side screens next to the entrance way,
<v Speaker 1>and of course that's what they trademarked last week or
<v Speaker 1>the week before. That's what he's calling himself now, the
<v Speaker 1>career Killer. Every time he would try to speak, they
<v Speaker 1>would drown him out with booze. Just like Bill Goldberg,
<v Speaker 1>he said, just like John Cena, AJ Styles found out
<v Speaker 1>that when you step into the ring with the career Killer,
<v Speaker 1>your career and your legacy dies. He started speaking Austrian.
<v Speaker 1>I guess as a dragon Le ran out to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>No music, They just cut to the isle and you
<v Speaker 1>see Dragon Lee is running down in the middle of
<v Speaker 1>this promo and he attacks Gunther and he knocks gun
<v Speaker 1>Thro out of the ring, and then he catches him
<v Speaker 1>with his wild old suicide dive and then a hurt
<v Speaker 1>conrada off the barricade that sent guntherer careening into the
<v Speaker 1>ring post. Then he sent gun Through over the barricade
<v Speaker 1>into the timekeeper's area. So now Dragon Lee, who of
<v Speaker 1>course was Tag Team Champions with AJ Styles, so he's
<v Speaker 1>very upset that gun Through is out here, you know,
<v Speaker 1>gloating about this. He backs up and he's getting ready
<v Speaker 1>to charge in towards the barricade. As he comes charging in,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther pops up from behind the barricade and smashes him
<v Speaker 1>in the head with the ring bell. So then after
<v Speaker 1>that he locks on a sleeper hold on Dragonle on
<v Speaker 1>the ground. Referees and producers they run out to try
<v Speaker 1>to pry him off. They did get him off. They
<v Speaker 1>got gun through into the ring and then guntherer reaches
<v Speaker 1>out through the ropes, grabs a hold of Dragonly, brings
<v Speaker 1>him up on the apron, and reapplies the sleeper hold
<v Speaker 1>until his legs just they just I mean, they just
<v Speaker 1>go go limp, and he is just dangling there. And
<v Speaker 1>then he lets go and Dragon Lee he goes splat
<v Speaker 1>on the ground outside like a dead body. And then
<v Speaker 1>Gunther puts his jacket back on and he proceeds to
<v Speaker 1>walk to the back. Although he did not have the
<v Speaker 1>smile on his face that he had when he initially
<v Speaker 1>came out here. Shit got Sirius real quick. He wasn't
<v Speaker 1>laughing anymore. But he looked like a killer out there,
<v Speaker 1>which is good because he should. That's how he should look.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Gunther is great when he's trolling and he's again,
<v Speaker 1>he's just such a great scumbag. You know, he's just
<v Speaker 1>he has that look to him, and when he's smirking
<v Speaker 1>and smiling, he's got that face you just want to
<v Speaker 1>punch him in the face. But there are times where
<v Speaker 1>you know he should get serious, and this is exactly
<v Speaker 1>how he should be portrayed. He should be portrayed as
<v Speaker 1>a killer. So I like what they did here. I
<v Speaker 1>assume we're going to get a match out of this
<v Speaker 1>on TV in the next couple of weeks. I'll tell
<v Speaker 1>you what I was surprised by, and I and we'd
<v Speaker 1>better get something. No speech or promo or follow up
<v Speaker 1>or anything from AJ Styles. We still don't know what
<v Speaker 1>the future holds for AJ Styles. There's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>different explanations for us not hearing from him. If his
<v Speaker 1>contract was up and he truly is done with WWE,
<v Speaker 1>there is still the possibility that we will see him
<v Speaker 1>pop up somewhere else and wrestle more matches. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that I am as confident about that now as
<v Speaker 1>maybe I was a few days ago. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>people are saying he's really done. He got people in
<v Speaker 1>WWE who were there with him in Saudi Arabia, saying, oh,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I talked to him and I take him
<v Speaker 1>at his word. Triple H said it. No, he's done.
<v Speaker 1>He's done with the Ian Ring. I think he just
<v Speaker 1>wanted to be done. We thought we would have him
<v Speaker 1>for longer. But he's done. Maybe he is, but especially
<v Speaker 1>if that's the case, because if it's not the case,
<v Speaker 1>then he's leaving and going somewhere else. And I totally
<v Speaker 1>understand it, and we may not see him on TV again.
<v Speaker 1>But if he's done, we got to hear from him,
<v Speaker 1>Like at some point, you got to send him out
<v Speaker 1>there and let him address the audience one last time.
<v Speaker 1>Let him get that sendo, let him give that closure. Right.
<v Speaker 1>We have to hear from him. I thought it might
<v Speaker 1>happen tonight. He was not on the show. So if
<v Speaker 1>he is not going to continue his career elsewhere, then
<v Speaker 1>I do hope we get that segment very soon. They
<v Speaker 1>replayed the angle from a few months ago where the
<v Speaker 1>vision beat up La Night and he got a tsunami
<v Speaker 1>splash on top of the car. We come back live
<v Speaker 1>in the back, Paul Hayman tells Adam Pearce, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>book a match tonight bron Breaker against La Knight. Pierce said,
<v Speaker 1>can't do it, Jim, and says, why not, because because
<v Speaker 1>he just walked La Knight out of the building. He goes,
<v Speaker 1>you can't. I can't have people disrupting my show. So
<v Speaker 1>he's not here anymore. He told Hayman, if you know
<v Speaker 1>what's good for bron Breaker, you'll do the same, and
<v Speaker 1>you'll scored him out of the building. And he goes, also,
<v Speaker 1>let Bronson read know that he should go get ready
<v Speaker 1>because he's got a match with Penta. Hayman asked him
<v Speaker 1>if he had a clue as to whom you are
<v Speaker 1>speaking to and in what city you are speaking to
<v Speaker 1>him in. Of course, the city they were in tonight
<v Speaker 1>is a city that Paul Hayman will forever be associated with,
<v Speaker 1>the city of brotherly love, the city that booeds Santa
<v Speaker 1>Claus once upon a time. And Pierce told him fafo,
<v Speaker 1>which the significance of that is that's the same line
<v Speaker 1>that Hayman used on him. I think it was on
<v Speaker 1>the pre show on Saturday. So Pierce threw it right
<v Speaker 1>back in his face. Pierce, Adam Pierce has had enough
<v Speaker 1>of the Vision's shit. That is one of the big
<v Speaker 1>takeaways of this show tonight, he has had it with
<v Speaker 1>the Vision shit. And it's a little awkward because if
<v Speaker 1>you think back to last week when he invited bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker back to the show from his suspension and he
<v Speaker 1>reinstated him, I figured he would reinstate him and then say, hey,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, you're going to be number one right
<v Speaker 1>in the Rumble. He reinstated him, he was very nice
<v Speaker 1>to him and Hayman and all the members of the Vision,
<v Speaker 1>you're all going to be in the Royal Rumble. And
<v Speaker 1>there was no shoe that dropped, there was no like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, and it was like, huh does this
<v Speaker 1>have to do with that mysterious phone call that he got,
<v Speaker 1>you know, says he's gotten to and he was just
<v Speaker 1>being very nice to the Vision. There was never any
<v Speaker 1>real follow up to it, and then this week it's
<v Speaker 1>the complete opposite where he doesn't have a care in
<v Speaker 1>the world. He's like, you're lucky I don't fire you
<v Speaker 1>for embarrassing yourself with the Rumble and being eliminated. Now
<v Speaker 1>you can leave the building FAFO. It's the big change
<v Speaker 1>in the demeanor for Adam Pierce from one week to
<v Speaker 1>the next. But I mean, I like the story they're
<v Speaker 1>telling with him. I think he's very good in the role.
<v Speaker 1>And as far as the vision goes, the most interesting
<v Speaker 1>part about the vision right now is actually the Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce bron Breaker stuff. I want to see where it goes.
<v Speaker 1>After the break, Breaker was freaking out backstage as Hayman
<v Speaker 1>tried to calm him down, and he said no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't care, I don't care, and Breaker he exited.
<v Speaker 1>I presumed he exited the arena, which I guess he
<v Speaker 1>did because we didn't see him again for the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the show. As far as the mass Man stuff,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where it's going to lead. My guess is,
<v Speaker 1>first of all, it was not Seth Rollins in Saudi Arabia.
<v Speaker 1>Whoever played the role in Saudi. It almost doesn't even
<v Speaker 1>matter because it's going to be it could potentially be
<v Speaker 1>someone completely different when we get the reveal. It literally
<v Speaker 1>could be anybody, anybody, although that person would have to
<v Speaker 1>have facial hair because the man from Saturday had facial hair.
<v Speaker 1>I joked on the stream the other night during the
<v Speaker 1>Rumble review, I'm like, watch it be Logan Paul, because
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul last week was very deferential towards the bron Breaker.
<v Speaker 1>He was the one who stood up in that backstage
<v Speaker 1>segment and said, you know who I think should win
<v Speaker 1>the Royal Rumble, bron Breaker, so like they were all
<v Speaker 1>in solidarity that like, we're not gonna win, we think
<v Speaker 1>bron should win, which is like the opposite of what
<v Speaker 1>you would expect someone like Logan Paul to say. So
<v Speaker 1>if it ended up being him, I actually wouldn't be
<v Speaker 1>terribly so I only threw it out there like half joking.
<v Speaker 1>But who knows. It could end up being him. It
<v Speaker 1>could end up being Seth Rollins, and they're just gonna
<v Speaker 1>drag it out until Seth is medically cleared. It could
<v Speaker 1>very well be Seth, and we don't get the reveal
<v Speaker 1>for another, you know, month and a half. Who knows.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of pointless to to speculate on it because
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know if they I don't even know
<v Speaker 1>if they have settled necessarily on who they want it
<v Speaker 1>to be. But it definitely gets people talking. Now back
<v Speaker 1>in the arena, this right here was quite the segment.
<v Speaker 1>It was the big show, says Punjabi. Playboy. Really, maybe
<v Speaker 1>if you put him in the dryer for a few hours.
<v Speaker 1>Then maybe it would be the Big Show. Let me
<v Speaker 1>tell you something, Big Show. Big Show didn't move like
<v Speaker 1>that when he was younger, and if you've seen the
<v Speaker 1>Big Show move around these days, he don't move around
<v Speaker 1>like that. In the arena, the war Raiders got the
<v Speaker 1>jobber entrance. They were already in the ring. Eric and Ivar.
<v Speaker 1>When was the last time we even saw them on TV?
<v Speaker 1>I don't hear. It feels like it's been a couple
<v Speaker 1>of months. They're in the ring, they're waiting for their opponents.
<v Speaker 1>There is a scheduled match. I don't think they ever
<v Speaker 1>told us who the scheduled opponents were. They get the
<v Speaker 1>jabber entrance and instead of their scheduled opponents, they play
<v Speaker 1>Obafemi's music. Now, Oba has been rumored to be landing
<v Speaker 1>on Raw, but they're doing the gimmick where wait, what's
<v Speaker 1>he doing here? He's not supposed to be here. He's
<v Speaker 1>a free agent. Adam Pierce and Nick all this they're
<v Speaker 1>fighting over, you know who's going to sign this man,
<v Speaker 1>but he'll probably end up being Unraw. But he comes out,
<v Speaker 1>gets his full entrance. He's not supposed to be there.
<v Speaker 1>This is completely unscheduled, so he dances down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>I guess this is his official raw debut, and Oba
<v Speaker 1>immediately goes to work on Eric and Ivar like a
<v Speaker 1>one man wrecking crew, and he hits the Fall from Grace,
<v Speaker 1>which is like that pop up power bomb that he does,
<v Speaker 1>drops Eric like he's a lightweight. I mean, he's lighter
<v Speaker 1>than Ivar, but he's still a big guy. So he
<v Speaker 1>drops him like a lightweight. And I thought they were
<v Speaker 1>gonna do some more. I thought he was going to
<v Speaker 1>go do something to Ivar. That was it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he stood there and made some weird faces and they
<v Speaker 1>played his music and he posed and that was the
<v Speaker 1>end of that. And the first thing I wrote down
<v Speaker 1>in my notes as soon as this was over, I said,
<v Speaker 1>if I'm the Viking Raiders or the war Raiders, I
<v Speaker 1>would be very worried about my job. This like, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm not even joking, like this segment. It felt like
<v Speaker 1>the kind of segment that you would see on a
<v Speaker 1>Monday and then on Tuesday or Wednesday you would hear
<v Speaker 1>like so and so has been released and is wished
<v Speaker 1>well in their future, and we've seen them do this before.
<v Speaker 1>We've seen them do what with not just people on
<v Speaker 1>Ron SmackDown, but on NXT, where they'll be in a
<v Speaker 1>match on like a Tuesday, and within a day or
<v Speaker 1>two they're gone. They get that one last match out
<v Speaker 1>of them, they use them to put somebody else over,
<v Speaker 1>and then they're gone. That's what this felt like to me.
<v Speaker 1>It felt like, you know what, we don't have anything
<v Speaker 1>planned for these guys, so let's just use them and
<v Speaker 1>have them get demolished to help get this other guy over.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that doesn't happen. I'm not trying to will
<v Speaker 1>anything into existence, but and usually it's the post wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Mania cuts. We're not quite there yet, but I would
<v Speaker 1>be very concerned if I were them. But it also
<v Speaker 1>to me shows just how little they care about an
<v Speaker 1>already very depleted tag team division that they have not
<v Speaker 1>lifted a finger to put any sort of effort into.
<v Speaker 1>I mean the tag team divisions on both shows. On
<v Speaker 1>the men's side, the women's tag team division is actually
<v Speaker 1>the strongest tag ting division of any in all of WWE,
<v Speaker 1>and how the fuck did that happen? But that's where
<v Speaker 1>we are right now. The SmackDown Tag team division is putrid.
<v Speaker 1>The raw tag team division is also putrid. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's a good word for it. There's just nothing going on.
<v Speaker 1>They're building to a tag team title match, I believe
<v Speaker 1>next week with the Ussos again, Otis and Tozau that
<v Speaker 1>is the big match that they are promoting. It is
<v Speaker 1>dreadful right now. And I'm not saying the Viking Raiders
<v Speaker 1>have been a very big part of that division recently,
<v Speaker 1>but they are one of the few teams in the division.
<v Speaker 1>You just sent them out there to be demolished by
<v Speaker 1>one man. When you send a credible tag team out there,
<v Speaker 1>and credible maybe stretching it the way they've been booked lately,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, look, they've been a team for many years,
<v Speaker 1>former tag team champion, so they have some degree of
<v Speaker 1>credibility on this show when you send them out there,
<v Speaker 1>and I know Oba's a big guy, he's a special talent,
<v Speaker 1>but still it's one on two and he beats an
<v Speaker 1>established tag team. I mean, what does that say A
<v Speaker 1>about the team and b about your tag team division?
<v Speaker 1>You know, I never understood that. I remember years ago,
<v Speaker 1>when Ryeback started to get hot on TV, they had
<v Speaker 1>him going out there and he was beating jobbers, then
<v Speaker 1>he would beat two jobbers, then he would beat three
<v Speaker 1>of them. He was beating guys three on one handicap matches,
<v Speaker 1>and it got over. He got over doing that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>You could always do something like that with OBA. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you got plenty of people that are down there in
<v Speaker 1>developmental who nobody would even know who they are right now,
<v Speaker 1>you know, or people who are just getting started, and
<v Speaker 1>this would be a great role for them to send
<v Speaker 1>them out there like lambs going to the slaughter and
<v Speaker 1>it would be fun just to see Oba throwing these
<v Speaker 1>guys around to use the Viking Raiders in that spot
<v Speaker 1>at a time when you need to be strengthening the
<v Speaker 1>tag team division. All they did here tonight was weaken it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really understand that, but I guess if they
<v Speaker 1>were to be on their way out, I guess it
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't matter. But we'll see where Obafemi ultimately lands. I'm
<v Speaker 1>assuming it will be Monday night raw. We got a
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor video promo talking about being taken for granted,
<v Speaker 1>so what happened in Belfast that wasn't a one off.
<v Speaker 1>That great match that he had, even though he lost,
<v Speaker 1>but he had a great match with CM Punk, because
<v Speaker 1>that wasn't a one off. I've been showing up and
<v Speaker 1>showing out my entire career. Yet Adam Pierce tells me
<v Speaker 1>that the Royal Rumble is full. Says, so it looks
<v Speaker 1>like the respect only gets you so far in this business.
<v Speaker 1>He wants the World Heavyweight Championship. He doesn't think that
<v Speaker 1>he's a bad guy, but at this stage, CM Punk,
<v Speaker 1>I'm willing to do bad things. So it looks like
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna get that, probably at the Elimination Chamber. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I guess they could do a TV match, but you
<v Speaker 1>got Punk in Chicago. He's going to be on that
<v Speaker 1>Elimination Chamber show. What else would he be doing. He
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have to be. He's not gonna be in an
<v Speaker 1>elimination Chamber match because we now know who he's defending
<v Speaker 1>the title against a WrestleMania that's already been established. So
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk against Finn Balor sounds like the elimination Chamber match.
<v Speaker 1>And then after this we had the Bella Twins. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if you missed the Royal Rumble, Nikki Bella was in
<v Speaker 1>the Royal Rumble, and you know who else was in
<v Speaker 1>the Royal Rumble Bribella. We've not seen Bribella on TV
<v Speaker 1>in many years. Bribella seemed to be of the impression
<v Speaker 1>that the reason WWE wouldn't hire her and bring her
<v Speaker 1>back was because her husband worked for AAW. Evidently that's
<v Speaker 1>no longer an issue, or she was wrong, because now
<v Speaker 1>she's back. She came out there as a surprise at
<v Speaker 1>number twenty nine in the Women's Royal Rumble and got
<v Speaker 1>the biggest pop of anyone on the show. People went
<v Speaker 1>nuts when she came out. They were putting their fingers
<v Speaker 1>in the air. I mean, no, Joe, this is what
<v Speaker 1>you heard when Bribella came out at the Royal Rumble. Curiosity. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's what you didn't hear, macho man, But you heard
<v Speaker 1>people chanting guests, And so I said, like, if this
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to be a one off, there's no like
<v Speaker 1>I figured it probably wasn't going to be a one off.
<v Speaker 1>But if it was, ain't no way that was gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a one off. After the reaction she got in Riod,
<v Speaker 1>so here comes Nicky Bella. She comes out first to
<v Speaker 1>her music and then we hear Brimaud and outcomes. Bribella
<v Speaker 1>did not get the kind of reactions she got in
<v Speaker 1>Saudi Arabia, but they got a positive reception and they
<v Speaker 1>make their way down to the ring. Now I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to hear this every single week on TV. Nicki
<v Speaker 1>pointed out that this was their first time in the
<v Speaker 1>ring together in seven years. She says that they're all
<v Speaker 1>very happy that brem mode is back. Who is this
<v Speaker 1>so we who's this old that she's referring to? Don't
<v Speaker 1>speak for me, you don't speak for me. Breathing spoke.
<v Speaker 1>Then she said she's finally home and she's sure that
<v Speaker 1>we're all wondering why come back? Now? The reason why
<v Speaker 1>she came back? Nikki and her they're the original tag team.
<v Speaker 1>They are the Ogs. This is what she said. They're
<v Speaker 1>the Ogs and the division is better than it's ever
<v Speaker 1>been and they want in. It's time for them to
<v Speaker 1>go for the Women's Tag Team Championships. That was it.
<v Speaker 1>That was the end of the segment. This could have
<v Speaker 1>been an email, This could have been a tweet. This
<v Speaker 1>could have aired during commercial break like they did to
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans all those times. This was a waste of time,
<v Speaker 1>is what This was. The OG team the way I
<v Speaker 1>love how they were just whitewashing the history in this company.
<v Speaker 1>There were never any women's tag teams that existed before
<v Speaker 1>the Bella Twins came along. Now, if you wanted to
<v Speaker 1>say that they're the OG tag team of female twins,
<v Speaker 1>you could certainly say that that would not be inaccurate.
<v Speaker 1>But the Ogs, that's stretching it quite a bit. I
<v Speaker 1>would say. In fact, there's a tag team right now
<v Speaker 1>that has been lobbying, and that usually doesn't work out
<v Speaker 1>too well. If you're lobbying for it, they're less likely
<v Speaker 1>to give it to you. But there's a tag team,
<v Speaker 1>a women's tag team that's been lobbying on social media
<v Speaker 1>with a petition to try to get people to sign
<v Speaker 1>their petition for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame
<v Speaker 1>this year. And that team is called the Jumping Bomb Angels.
<v Speaker 1>And so if you want to support the Jumping Bomb Angels,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know the handle, I don't remember the handle
<v Speaker 1>off hand, but go find their petition and sign it
<v Speaker 1>because they were a great fucking tag team back in
<v Speaker 1>the day and they deserve an induction into the Hall
<v Speaker 1>of the Bellas are already in the Hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 1>The Jumping Bomb Angels should be in the Hall of
<v Speaker 1>Fame as well. But as I said, that was the
<v Speaker 1>extent of the entire segment. I love. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>how it was two months ago that Nikki Bella turned
<v Speaker 1>on Stephanie Vcaire and now she's just back to being
<v Speaker 1>a babyface. It's all forgotten about. It's like it never
<v Speaker 1>even happened. And I am sure they are going to
<v Speaker 1>go to WrestleMania. They are going to challenge for the
<v Speaker 1>women's tag team titles, and they're gonna win the women's
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles because the Bella Twins have never been
<v Speaker 1>women's tag team champions. However, the idea that this might
<v Speaker 1>well be the best they could do for Rhea, Ripley
<v Speaker 1>and EO Sky on the WrestleMania card this year, that's
<v Speaker 1>no bueno. That's terrible. That can't be. That can't be
<v Speaker 1>the only thing they could come up with for Rhea,
<v Speaker 1>Ripley and Eosky to be doing on the WrestleMania card
<v Speaker 1>this year. So I hope they drop those belts before
<v Speaker 1>we get to Las Vegas. But if they don't, and
<v Speaker 1>if that's the match for WrestleMania, that's fucking sad. If
<v Speaker 1>that's the best you can come up with for those two.
<v Speaker 1>In the back the Alpha Academy, speaking of Sad, we
<v Speaker 1>go to the back and the Alpha Academy Otis and Tozawa.
<v Speaker 1>They are talking to Bert Kreischer, who was a comedian,
<v Speaker 1>used that word loosely. He pops up on raw every
<v Speaker 1>now and then. His whole gimmick is that he takes
<v Speaker 1>his shirt off. I don't know why he does this.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how this became a thing, but that's
<v Speaker 1>what he does. So they're talking to him, and they're
<v Speaker 1>talking about their upcoming tag team title match against the USOS.
<v Speaker 1>Maxine Dupre shows up and she's gonna be wrestling Natty
<v Speaker 1>next week. She's gonna make her tap out. She screamed,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna make her tap aust she like screamed at
<v Speaker 1>the top of her lungs. And then of course the
<v Speaker 1>guys took their shirt, so Chrysler took his shirt off.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, the fuck is this? And then later in
<v Speaker 1>the show, they cut to the crowd and they shower again,
<v Speaker 1>sitting in the audience, and he stands up and he
<v Speaker 1>takes his shirt off again. Why we had Penta against Bronson?
<v Speaker 1>Reed who had the vision out there with him, all
<v Speaker 1>but bron Breaker. They went to commercial almost immediately after
<v Speaker 1>this match started, as is customary for this show. You
<v Speaker 1>can set your watch to it. So Reid hit a
<v Speaker 1>power bomb into a power slam for a two count. Penta,
<v Speaker 1>though back stabbed him down. Austin Theory jumped up on
<v Speaker 1>the apron, so Penta took him out and in the
<v Speaker 1>process the referee got bumped. Now, Penta hits a big
<v Speaker 1>dive out to the floor. He charges into the ring,
<v Speaker 1>right into the jagged edge, which is that death valley
<v Speaker 1>driver that Reid hits. He drags him over to the corner.
<v Speaker 1>He goes up top tsunami splash. There's no referee. The
<v Speaker 1>referee is still on the outside and he's woozy. He's
<v Speaker 1>laying on the ground, So Reid heads outside to go
<v Speaker 1>grab a chair over by the timekeeper's area. Picks up
<v Speaker 1>this chair and you could hear a commotion in the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>We can't see what it's about. We don't know exactly
<v Speaker 1>where it's coming from. It's La Knight. La Knight has
<v Speaker 1>re emergd. We thought he was gone, but he's back
<v Speaker 1>and he ends up delivering a bft onto the chair,
<v Speaker 1>and now Reid is laid out outside, and then Knight
<v Speaker 1>retreats into the crowd, and we have Austin theory and
<v Speaker 1>we have Logan Paul chase after him into the crowd.
<v Speaker 1>So now, of course, the referee gets back into the
<v Speaker 1>ring and Reid is down outside. He's old, groggy. The
<v Speaker 1>referee begins to count. Paul Hayman is trying to explain
<v Speaker 1>to him what happened here, but the referee is just counting.
<v Speaker 1>He don't care, and Bronton Reid tries to get back
<v Speaker 1>to his feet, and he does, and he's about to
<v Speaker 1>get back into the ring before ten, but then he
<v Speaker 1>just crumbles back to the ground and Penta wins by
<v Speaker 1>count out. Actually got a pretty good reaction and he
<v Speaker 1>picks up the win, which is good as opposed to
<v Speaker 1>him just fucking losing to the vision. It was hardly
<v Speaker 1>any sort of decisive win here over Bronson reed, but
<v Speaker 1>a win is a win, a win is better than
<v Speaker 1>a loss at least. So they were trying to protect
<v Speaker 1>both guys, you know, they didn't want to do a
<v Speaker 1>clean finish here. But the story was about La Knight,
<v Speaker 1>and I like that La Knight should be getting revenge
<v Speaker 1>on the Vision for what they did to him, so
<v Speaker 1>he was making them look foolish all night long. Although
<v Speaker 1>this was the last we we saw of him here,
<v Speaker 1>so it was good to see him get his revenge
<v Speaker 1>on them for what they did to him. But beyond that,
<v Speaker 1>not a whole lot to say about this. At least again,
<v Speaker 1>at least the crowd was happy to see Penn to
<v Speaker 1>pick up a win, even if it was because of
<v Speaker 1>someone else. After this we heard Dirty Doms music. Dominic Mysterio,
<v Speaker 1>who has been nursing an injury to his arm from
<v Speaker 1>the Triple A show back in December, missed the royal rumble.
<v Speaker 1>He is actually going to be on the Triple A
<v Speaker 1>show coming up this weekend. I think they said he was.
<v Speaker 1>Is he wrestling? I think he might be wrestling on
<v Speaker 1>the show, But anyway he comes out. We haven't seen
<v Speaker 1>him in a while. And again the mustache. The mustache
<v Speaker 1>is getting bigger and bushier. Tom Sellek would be very
<v Speaker 1>proud of this mustache that dom has been rocking here.
<v Speaker 1>But he's out there, the hair is longer, he's got
<v Speaker 1>glasses on, and he gets into the ring. So the
<v Speaker 1>only reason he would come to a place like Philly
<v Speaker 1>Is so that he can introduce the winner of the
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six Women's Royal Rumble match, and that, of course,
<v Speaker 1>is Live Morgan. And Live Morgan comes as she runs
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring and jumps up into Dom's arms,
<v Speaker 1>and she said that choosing an opponent for WrestleMania has
<v Speaker 1>such a big decision, so that I need time to decide.
<v Speaker 1>I might even have to show up on SmackDown on
<v Speaker 1>Friday night to assess all of my options. But one
<v Speaker 1>thing that I do know is that tonight we are
<v Speaker 1>going to crown a brand new women's World champion. And
<v Speaker 1>with that, she introduces her best friend, her sister, Big
<v Speaker 1>Sexy Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel gets into the ring. She says,
<v Speaker 1>it's been an amazing week for the Judgment day, but
<v Speaker 1>we haven't addressed something that happened at the Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>and Live says what? And she said, why did you
<v Speaker 1>eliminate me? And Liv said, look, I know you better
<v Speaker 1>than anybody else says You're not the selfish type. You
<v Speaker 1>had a title opportunity scheduled for tonight and now I
<v Speaker 1>have a title opportunity at WrestleMania, So a win for
<v Speaker 1>one is a win for all, and Raquel agreed, and
<v Speaker 1>then she said to her stay in the back tonight.
<v Speaker 1>She said, it's going to make my win over Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>that much sweeter when I win the championship on my own.
<v Speaker 1>So liv said, uh, okay, noo, go get it, and
<v Speaker 1>she left, which made way for Stephanie's entrance. Except I
<v Speaker 1>didn't realize at first that it was Stephanie coming out.
<v Speaker 1>And the reason I didn't realize that it was Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>coming out is because they changed her fucking music. Who
<v Speaker 1>was asking for this? Who was asking for her music
<v Speaker 1>to be changed? They do these things sometimes and I
<v Speaker 1>just I sit here and I just I shake my
<v Speaker 1>head and I go, why why did that happen? What
<v Speaker 1>was the purpose of this? Of all the things that
<v Speaker 1>could be tweaked and changed and improved on this show,
<v Speaker 1>they take things that really have It's like things that
<v Speaker 1>aren't broken, and they break them so that they could
<v Speaker 1>rebuild and repair them. There's an expression, if it ain't broke,
<v Speaker 1>don't fix it that applied to Stephanie. Now. Look, Stephanie's
<v Speaker 1>music was generic before, but it was actually kind of
<v Speaker 1>a good generic theme. So they have now taken her
<v Speaker 1>good generic theme and they have replaced it with a
<v Speaker 1>bad generic theme for no apparent reason. She has been
<v Speaker 1>deaf rebeled. After the break, we got our Women's World
<v Speaker 1>Championship street fight. It was Stephanie defending the title against Raquel. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think they do do it on purpose. How can
<v Speaker 1>we make this worse? How can we figure out a
<v Speaker 1>way to make this worse? And then they go and
<v Speaker 1>they do it. That's it, and Nobie, that's it because
<v Speaker 1>here we go another generic rock music number four oh six,
<v Speaker 1>just like the late days of WCW. So this Philly crowd,
<v Speaker 1>let me tell you, this Philly crowd was church silent
<v Speaker 1>for this match until a few minutes in when Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>finally went to go pull out some plunder from underneath
<v Speaker 1>the ring. As soon as she picked up the ring skirt,
<v Speaker 1>there were signs of life here from this crowd, and
<v Speaker 1>she pulled out a slim je table. Raquel, though, cut
<v Speaker 1>her off before she could do anything with it, so
<v Speaker 1>Raquel set the table up herself outside. Stephanie came flying
<v Speaker 1>off the ring steps with a her conrana, but Raquel
<v Speaker 1>muscled her up into a power bomb position and planted
<v Speaker 1>her through the table and then it was right to commercial.
<v Speaker 1>So when they came back, Raquel was working over the
<v Speaker 1>previously injured ankle of Stephanie, which, by the way, this
<v Speaker 1>did not come into play at all for the remainder
<v Speaker 1>of the match. She wasn't selling the ankle, it didn't
<v Speaker 1>play into the finish nothing, but she was working it
<v Speaker 1>over here. So Stephanie fought back with a kendo stick.
<v Speaker 1>She dragged the flat part of the ring steps over
<v Speaker 1>kind of towards the announcers, but then she turned around
<v Speaker 1>right into the The top lid of the announced desk
<v Speaker 1>was being launched at her head, so then she got
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie on her shoulders, did Raquel, and she rammed her
<v Speaker 1>into the ring post. She rolled her back inside, she
<v Speaker 1>covered her for a near fall only and the crowd
<v Speaker 1>was still for all of this. I mean, it was
<v Speaker 1>like pulling teeth out there to get a reaction out
<v Speaker 1>of these people. And honestly, I mean, again, I don't
<v Speaker 1>blame the crowd. I mean there wasn't a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>here for them to really get super excited about and
<v Speaker 1>think about this. Also, the reason they did this is
<v Speaker 1>because it was Philadelphia. This was their ode to Philly.
<v Speaker 1>But think of all of the street fights and hardcore
<v Speaker 1>matches that Philadelphia has seen over the years. Like I
<v Speaker 1>get this as kind of a different audience, but still
<v Speaker 1>think of all of the of the hardcore, plunder garbage
<v Speaker 1>matches that you will see in Philadelphia over the course
<v Speaker 1>of wrestling history. And then you get a match like
<v Speaker 1>this and it's one of those WWE sanitized style matches
<v Speaker 1>that always it's the same shit all the time, right,
<v Speaker 1>the kendo sticks, the slim gym tastes always the same stuff.
<v Speaker 1>It's like a formula. It's like a program that someone
<v Speaker 1>has written, like a template, and it's just very easy
<v Speaker 1>for to just plug different faces into the template. So
<v Speaker 1>what are they supposed to do? I mean, what is
<v Speaker 1>there for them to really get super cheerful about here?
<v Speaker 1>People are gonna shit on the crowd for being quiet.
<v Speaker 1>I don't blame them. I would just be sitting there
<v Speaker 1>on my hands too. And then you had Raquel grab
<v Speaker 1>a chair and she wedged it in between the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and she went to go ram Stephanie headfirst into the chair. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>the chair came loose and it fell out of the
<v Speaker 1>ring all the way to the floor, so instead, Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>picked up a kendo stick and she hit her with it.
<v Speaker 1>Then came the Devil's kiss or not, because Raquel powered
<v Speaker 1>her up onto her shoulders and then dropped her throat
<v Speaker 1>first on the top rope. Kendo sticks have been done today, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>of course they've been done to death. It's it's absurd.
<v Speaker 1>It's their go to weapon of choice, dude. It's like
<v Speaker 1>every type of match like this that they do with
<v Speaker 1>the women. Primarily the men use them too, but especially
<v Speaker 1>with the women. Look at any war games match like
<v Speaker 1>it's always with the kendo sticks. It just gets tired
<v Speaker 1>after a while. Stephanie, though, after being draped over the
<v Speaker 1>top rope, came right back with a kick and both
<v Speaker 1>women were down. Raquel then tossed a bunch of chairs
<v Speaker 1>into the ring, like half a dozen chairs at least. Stephanie, though,
<v Speaker 1>came off the top with a crossbody got caught and
<v Speaker 1>Raquel delivered a fallaway slam onto the chairs. Then she
<v Speaker 1>tried her corkscrew vader bomb. Stephanie moved and Raquel landed
<v Speaker 1>on the chairs. Then we got a proper devil's kiss,
<v Speaker 1>which got you got a decent enough reaction not a
<v Speaker 1>great reaction. He got a decent reaction. So they rolled
<v Speaker 1>out to the floor, and then Stephanie delivered another devil's kiss,
<v Speaker 1>this one on the flat part of the ring steps.
<v Speaker 1>And then if you were missing the commercials, I know
<v Speaker 1>at this point you were like, man, you know, it's
<v Speaker 1>been too long, it's been too long since we've had
<v Speaker 1>a commercial break. Then guess what, you got a commercial break,
<v Speaker 1>so now you could be happy. So when we came
<v Speaker 1>back from AED seven of seven, that's what it said
<v Speaker 1>for me, seven of seven, Like there is nothing that
<v Speaker 1>happens during these commercial breaks lately, Like it is just
<v Speaker 1>so boring and pointless. I forgot to even use my
<v Speaker 1>VPN tonight, so the commercials. I actually had the commercials playing,
<v Speaker 1>and it just was every break was like seven out
<v Speaker 1>of seven, six out of six, eight out of eight.
<v Speaker 1>I just wait for the countdown to go down and
<v Speaker 1>assume that nothing of note happened during the commercial break,
<v Speaker 1>which I don't believe it did. So they came back.
<v Speaker 1>They were outside on the other side of the ring
<v Speaker 1>now by the aisleway. Raquel hoisted up the ring steps
<v Speaker 1>on that side. Stephanie, though knocked her down before she
<v Speaker 1>could use them. Back inside, Stephanie grabbed the trash can
<v Speaker 1>and she placed it over Raquel's head. She was sitting
<v Speaker 1>in the corner and then she came charging in with
<v Speaker 1>the double knees. The mediora by Stephanie, so the champion
<v Speaker 1>covered challenger kicked out. Stephanie tried for the SVB. Raquel, though,
<v Speaker 1>took her down with a clothesline. Then she booted the
<v Speaker 1>trash can back into Stephanie's face. And now Raquel is
<v Speaker 1>getting frustrated because she tried to cover her and Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>got a shoulder up and she doesn't know what to
<v Speaker 1>do now, so she's getting very upset about this. The
<v Speaker 1>fans started chanting, use the chair. This is like six
<v Speaker 1>of them laying in the ring. I mean, maybe she
<v Speaker 1>didn't see them. She actually is the one who introduced
<v Speaker 1>them into the ring, but I don't know. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there were only six chairs in the ring, so maybe
<v Speaker 1>she just missed them. Instead of using the chairs, she
<v Speaker 1>decided to go ahead and grab another slim gym table.
<v Speaker 1>She slid it into the ring. She set it up.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel tried for the tehanabaumb Stephanie was able to avoid it.
<v Speaker 1>Both women ended up down when Live Morgan showed up,
<v Speaker 1>even though she was explicitly told do not come out.
<v Speaker 1>I want to do this on my own. She doesn't
<v Speaker 1>listen very well. Live Morgan grabs the Women's World championship
<v Speaker 1>off that little podium, that little stand that they have.
<v Speaker 1>She grabs the belt and she hands it to Raquel
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, who obviously is very surprised to see
<v Speaker 1>Live Morgan at ringside. So she's distracted. Now Stephanie comes
<v Speaker 1>up from behind and she stands Raquel into the chair.
<v Speaker 1>I guess there was another chair that got wedged in
<v Speaker 1>the corn Maybe that happened during commercial, so there was
<v Speaker 1>a chair wedged in the corner. She threw her headfirst
<v Speaker 1>into the chair. Then she knocked Lived Morgan off the apron,
<v Speaker 1>so on top of the table and Stephanie climbs to
<v Speaker 1>the middle rope. Roxane Perez shows up on the apron,
<v Speaker 1>tries to stop her. Stephanie head butts her off the
<v Speaker 1>apron and Roxanne goes crashing through another table outside the
<v Speaker 1>ring on the floor. Raquel climbs up with her. Now
<v Speaker 1>she got off the table. Now she's on the ropes
<v Speaker 1>with Stephanie. She tries a gut wrench suplex off the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie is able to avoid that and stop her from
<v Speaker 1>doing so. She head butts her way out of it.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie then tries to take her down with a head scissors.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel was having none of this, so instead she muscled
<v Speaker 1>her up. She tried for a power bomb. Stephanie, though
<v Speaker 1>turned it into a rana. It was a slow rana.
<v Speaker 1>It was slow enough that when Raquel came flying off,
<v Speaker 1>she bounced and rolled off the table. The table did
<v Speaker 1>it broke, but it didn't really break. She landed on
<v Speaker 1>the table with enough force that there was a crack
<v Speaker 1>down the middle of the table and it slightly bent,
<v Speaker 1>but she just rolled off the table, so unfortunately, the
<v Speaker 1>spot did not go according to plan. Stephanie then moved
<v Speaker 1>the table out of the way, climbed to the top,
<v Speaker 1>landed her corkscrew splash, and retained the Women's World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>And then after the match, at a bunch of highlights,
<v Speaker 1>liv Morgan got back into the ring and she dropped
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie with an oblivion and then picked up the Women's
<v Speaker 1>World title, big smile on her face, and she posed
<v Speaker 1>with the championship, giving you a pretty good indication of
<v Speaker 1>which title she's coming after a WrestleMania without actually saying so.
<v Speaker 1>And she didn't look too terribly upset about the fact
<v Speaker 1>that her best friend and her sister just lost in
<v Speaker 1>her World Championship match. In factually had a big smile
<v Speaker 1>on her face. So I'm sure that's going to call
<v Speaker 1>are you ready for it? Drama in the ranks of
<v Speaker 1>the judgment day. I'm sure that's not going to go
<v Speaker 1>over too well with Raquel. Raquel. I want to say this, Raquel.
<v Speaker 1>I like Raquel, and Raquel I think I had her
<v Speaker 1>as my most improved in wrestling in twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel was in the Royal Rumble on Saturday. I want
<v Speaker 1>to say she was in there for about thirty five minutes.
<v Speaker 1>She had a good run in the Rumble. Then she
<v Speaker 1>had a fly halfway around the world back to the States.
<v Speaker 1>Probably didn't even go home because you gotta go to
<v Speaker 1>raw So she probably just went right from Saudi Arabia
<v Speaker 1>to Philadelphia into a street fight weapons garbage match with
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Vcaire. So she's had quite a bit of work
<v Speaker 1>over the last few days, and I'm sure she's probably
<v Speaker 1>also exhausted from all the traveling, so I have nothing
<v Speaker 1>bad to say about her. There were things that she
<v Speaker 1>and Stephanie did in this match that just did not
<v Speaker 1>go according to plan right. The chair fell out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring, the table didn't break. But the biggest sin
<v Speaker 1>of this match is that it just went too long.
<v Speaker 1>It just got to a point where they were it
<v Speaker 1>felt like they were repeating the same shit with the
<v Speaker 1>same weapons over and over again. Nobody was reacting, nobody
<v Speaker 1>sounded like they really cared, and it was just it
<v Speaker 1>was a match. It was solid, but it's the standard
<v Speaker 1>WWE extreme rules match. That's basically what it was. You
<v Speaker 1>can call it a Philadelphia street fight. It was an
<v Speaker 1>extreme rules match, wasn't particularly violent. They used the same
<v Speaker 1>weapons they always use. Some shit got messed up and
<v Speaker 1>it didn't work out. Didn't get the reaction they were
<v Speaker 1>probably hoping for, didn't have a lot of heat. We
<v Speaker 1>don't get to see Stephanie wrestling on this show very often,
<v Speaker 1>so it was nice to at least see the Women's
<v Speaker 1>World title defended, but not really anything great. There's no
<v Speaker 1>great shakes here. I wasn't expecting a title change, so
<v Speaker 1>that didn't surprise me. I was hoping for more out
<v Speaker 1>of this match, though, and what we got was pretty
<v Speaker 1>standard stuff. But then in the back an suv pulled
<v Speaker 1>up into the arena, and emerging from the suv is
<v Speaker 1>the winner of the twenty twenty six Men's Royal Rumble,
<v Speaker 1>someone we don't get to see on this show very often.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, when he declared for the Royal Rumble, it
<v Speaker 1>was via graphic, but there he was in the flesh.
<v Speaker 1>Roman reigns and he proceeds to make his way out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring, but first one last commercial break. It
<v Speaker 1>come back from break. Roman is in the ring. He's
<v Speaker 1>wearing a jacket, He's looking like Sting in the final
<v Speaker 1>days of aaw and he asked Philly to acknowledge him.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we've had highs and lows here in Philly.
<v Speaker 1>I won my first WWE championship here, but I also
<v Speaker 1>lost my last WWE championship in this city. And then
<v Speaker 1>he pointed out that he actually won his first Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rumble right here in Philly. I talked about that the
<v Speaker 1>other night won the Royal Rumble, and Philly got booed
<v Speaker 1>out of the building. Got the rock Bood. Takes a
<v Speaker 1>lot to get the rock back then takes a lot
<v Speaker 1>to get the rock bood, but he got booed. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that was in Philly. That was in twenty fifteen. That
<v Speaker 1>was the Great Royal Rumble where they had Big show
<v Speaker 1>and Kine dumping out Ray Wyatt and Dolf Ziggler and
<v Speaker 1>got how many other people did they dump out of
<v Speaker 1>the ring unceremoniously in that like every person that the
<v Speaker 1>fans liked or had hopes to maybe win the match,
<v Speaker 1>And it wasn't even like anything dramatic. They literally would
<v Speaker 1>just pick them up like garbage and just gently dump
<v Speaker 1>them out of the ring, and you can feel like
<v Speaker 1>a piece of their soul was dying with each elimini
<v Speaker 1>as they realized, Okay, we can see where this is
<v Speaker 1>going and we don't like it. That was the reaction
<v Speaker 1>that you heard that night. But that was eleven years
<v Speaker 1>ago and a lot has changed in the last eleven years.
<v Speaker 1>And that's what Roman Reigns mentioned here in this promo says,
<v Speaker 1>what better city to help me make a decision on
<v Speaker 1>which champion to challenge your WrestleMania. So the crowd chanted
<v Speaker 1>cm Punk, but he asked them, He goes, so you
<v Speaker 1>don't want me to go after Drew McIntyre and they
<v Speaker 1>booed or do you prefer CM Punk? And they cheered
<v Speaker 1>and then they hit Cult of Personality Big Pop. Punk
<v Speaker 1>took his time coming out. He was wearing his own
<v Speaker 1>jacket as Roman took his off. So Punk took his
<v Speaker 1>jacket off as he climbed into the ring, and Punk
<v Speaker 1>made like he was about to address Roman. He was
<v Speaker 1>like looking at him, he was about to open his mouth,
<v Speaker 1>and then he turns and he looks dead in the camera.
<v Speaker 1>He walks over to the cameraman. He addresses Finn Balor
<v Speaker 1>the ultimate disrespect. He leaves Romans standing there because first
<v Speaker 1>he has something to say to Finn Balor, who's not
<v Speaker 1>even there, and he tells Balor. He goes, Uh, you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna find out how bad of a guy I really
<v Speaker 1>am when I get my hands on you. Roman says
<v Speaker 1>that you're interrupting my segment talking about Finn Balor. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Pin Balor, I'd be upset too. Yeah, the last time
<v Speaker 1>Roman was in the ring with Pinn Balor, you all
<v Speaker 1>remember what happened. Need I remind you of what happened?
<v Speaker 1>I think you all remember what happened. He goes that's
<v Speaker 1>funny though, he says, well Punk, he said pump Punk
<v Speaker 1>said I interrupted. You goes, that's funny, seeing is how
<v Speaker 1>you're a visitor on my show. Said maybe you thought
<v Speaker 1>you were on SmackDown or something. But this is Netflix
<v Speaker 1>and I'm the champion and I call the shots. Heard
<v Speaker 1>Roman asking Philly for some help. So he goes, what
<v Speaker 1>about it? Roman reigns against Drew McIntyre, and the fans
<v Speaker 1>boo or Roman reigns versus the best in the world,
<v Speaker 1>CM punk and they cheered. They cheered. So he goes,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, Roman, what do you think do you
<v Speaker 1>need their help? Drew McIntyre boo, CM punk Yay. So
<v Speaker 1>he did that a couple of times, because yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>think the choice is pretty clear. He knows who Roman
<v Speaker 1>is picking. Take the easy way out. Go ahead and
<v Speaker 1>pick Drew McIntyre. So Roman said, look, I don't like
<v Speaker 1>the guy, but you're talking crazy, said Drew McIntyre is
<v Speaker 1>the easy way out. Drew's like four times bigger than you.
<v Speaker 1>Drew is a big man. Drew is a dectively large
<v Speaker 1>And he goes, and the last time you fought, he
<v Speaker 1>had you crying over a little plastic bracelet, and then
<v Speaker 1>he looks down at Punk's wrist. He goes, as a
<v Speaker 1>matter of fact, I think that's the bracelet, and I'm like, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not. Didn't Drew destroy the bracelet. He ripped it apart.
<v Speaker 1>The bracelet, the beads when't flying everywhere. There's no way
<v Speaker 1>that's the same bracelet. Or they had Drew destroy a
<v Speaker 1>dummy bracelet, and maybe that is the real bracelet, but
<v Speaker 1>I do vividly remember him destroying it though. At some
<v Speaker 1>point during that angle, so Punk told him be careful
<v Speaker 1>because they ran out of staples that they were trying
<v Speaker 1>to put in his big dumb ass back together. He
<v Speaker 1>put him in the dirt inside Hell and his cell
<v Speaker 1>and Roman told him to take a number. I beat
<v Speaker 1>Drew like three years straight. I love, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>how they were just very casually burying Drew mcinto. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, why is Drew catching strays here? At this segment,
<v Speaker 1>they're both in there just talking about how they beat
<v Speaker 1>this guy's ass. Punk put him in the dirt, Roman
<v Speaker 1>beat him three years in a row, just casually burying
<v Speaker 1>him six feet under. Punk said, yeah, you and how
<v Speaker 1>many of your cousins? And Roman told him watch how
<v Speaker 1>you talk about my family. He says, Remember this, They're
<v Speaker 1>the only reason that this place is where it's at.
<v Speaker 1>They're the only reason that Punk even has a show
<v Speaker 1>and a company to have come back to. Don't ever
<v Speaker 1>forget that. Maybe Punk put it back together after hell,
<v Speaker 1>what is sell? He scrounged up all the beads and
<v Speaker 1>strung them back up himself. Punk says that Roman thinks
<v Speaker 1>he's the reason they're in the spot that they're in
<v Speaker 1>right now. Oh the big business this company is doing,
<v Speaker 1>and he goes, he's sort of right. He manipulated his
<v Speaker 1>cousins thinking that he's this great messiah, but all he
<v Speaker 1>really did was hold the show hostage. This is an ESPN.
<v Speaker 1>I heard what you said on McAfee's show about you
<v Speaker 1>being gracious with your quarterly vacations, talking about how no
<v Speaker 1>one has stepped up to fill his shoes, his shoes
<v Speaker 1>being Roman shoes. No one is trying to follow in
<v Speaker 1>his footsteps. Once upon a time, Punk was the champion
<v Speaker 1>for four hundred and thirty four days with Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>at his side. Does that sound familiar? Because you took
<v Speaker 1>it and you ran with it. You followed in my footsteps,
<v Speaker 1>and yet you were the champion for what thirteen hundred days.
<v Speaker 1>Just because you did it longer doesn't mean you did
<v Speaker 1>it better. So I want you all to take that
<v Speaker 1>lesson away from this promo here cmpunk live in Philadelphia
<v Speaker 1>on a Monday night, reminding everyone longer it does not
<v Speaker 1>equal better. You just remember that because you're a box
<v Speaker 1>office WrestleMania main events superstar, so you've earned the right
<v Speaker 1>to call your shot and show up when you want.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not mad at you. You choose to be a
<v Speaker 1>part timer. I choose to go to ten countries in
<v Speaker 1>three weeks and see all the fans worldwide. I choose
<v Speaker 1>Poland and Scotland and Denmark and Belgium and London and
<v Speaker 1>Toronto makes me want to go listen to the Joe
<v Speaker 1>Henry theme song now. And I choose to come back
<v Speaker 1>here to Philadelphia so I can say things like doesn't
<v Speaker 1>it feel great to be alive on a Monday night
<v Speaker 1>in Philadelphia? Or what I choose to be a fighting champion,
<v Speaker 1>just like I choose to bring you into this company
<v Speaker 1>with the rest of the shield, and you chose to
<v Speaker 1>follow in my footsteps. You learn from the best. I'm
<v Speaker 1>proud of you, but you've got a decision to make.
<v Speaker 1>On one side is a guy that you think you
<v Speaker 1>can beat, and on the other is a guy that
<v Speaker 1>you know, on your best day you can't touch because
<v Speaker 1>he's the best in the world. You can go after
<v Speaker 1>the man that has made this title and held it
<v Speaker 1>down in your absence as the heavyweight champion of the world.
<v Speaker 1>Roman said that Punk's making all these towns because he
<v Speaker 1>took a ten year of vacation. I'd be trying to
<v Speaker 1>get in as much as possible too. And the second
<v Speaker 1>thing I learned from you, said, the only thing I
<v Speaker 1>learned from you is what not to do. Let's get
<v Speaker 1>one thing straight here, Phil, you wouldn't be here without
<v Speaker 1>me two years ago, whenever it was when they asked
<v Speaker 1>to sign you back. Who do you think they came
<v Speaker 1>to to ask if it was all good? Me ten
<v Speaker 1>years ago or so. I'll never forget you going on
<v Speaker 1>your best friend's podcast, running your mouth, making my life
<v Speaker 1>harder than it ever should have been. And then I
<v Speaker 1>let you back here. And what do you do? You
<v Speaker 1>screw me, You take my wise men, you brainwash my cousins,
<v Speaker 1>You almost brainwash me because at Wargames I shook your
<v Speaker 1>hand like a man. And then at first I didn't
<v Speaker 1>even realize what he was talking about, and then I
<v Speaker 1>realized I did that movie together the voices in the movie.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, what do we say, zebros or some stupid
<v Speaker 1>shit like that, and that got to react. See now
<v Speaker 1>he's getting angry. Now, this is where he was getting
<v Speaker 1>really intense in his promo. He goes, nah, I shook
<v Speaker 1>your hand like a man, and you mock me behind
<v Speaker 1>my back when we're walking up the ramp like some
<v Speaker 1>little young boy. Goes, well, guess what I've made my choice.
<v Speaker 1>I'm picking you because I hate you. He says, I've
<v Speaker 1>always hated you. And WrestleMania is going to be the
<v Speaker 1>best day of my life because in the main event,
<v Speaker 1>you will acknowledge me. Mike drop and off, goes Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>And it's not very often in these type segments that
<v Speaker 1>when it's over, you say, oh, CM Punk got shown up.
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk did great. He held up his own in
<v Speaker 1>this segment. But this was Roman Reins's segment. Here. This
<v Speaker 1>was the best promo I have ever seen from Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>And he's been a lot better in the last few
<v Speaker 1>years and he was. I mean, it's like night and
<v Speaker 1>fucking day. You go back and look at some of
<v Speaker 1>those big dog promos. Oh my god, it's like I
<v Speaker 1>had secondhand embarrassment watching it. It's almost incredible to think
<v Speaker 1>when you're watching this, I know a lot of time
<v Speaker 1>has gone by almost a decade, but still like every
<v Speaker 1>now and then it'll pop up on my YouTube. Recommended
<v Speaker 1>the twenty seventeen segment with Roman Reigns in John Sena
<v Speaker 1>before their first match. It is it is almost like
<v Speaker 1>he is indistinguishable in that segment from the Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>that we see on TV today. It is almost unfathomable
<v Speaker 1>that it is the same person. But with experience and
<v Speaker 1>with time, and then when you're working with the right people,
<v Speaker 1>you would hope that over time, you know, you get
<v Speaker 1>better at it. This is a very different Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>in the Roman Reigns we saw in twenty seventeen. Back
<v Speaker 1>then he also had a crazy old irishman who was
<v Speaker 1>writing a lot of his material and that didn't help.
<v Speaker 1>It's come a long way in terms of his promos
<v Speaker 1>and just the way that he carries himself, his confidence
<v Speaker 1>in the microphone. But this right here, I think is
<v Speaker 1>probably the best that I have seen from him on
<v Speaker 1>the mic. He was convincing, he was intense. It came
<v Speaker 1>across like he really doesn't like this guy. He threw
<v Speaker 1>it right back in his face. Everything that Punk said,
<v Speaker 1>he threw it right back in his face and said, wait, wait, wait,
<v Speaker 1>wait wait. I followed in your footsteps. And then he
<v Speaker 1>came right back with it and he drew from their history,
<v Speaker 1>and he mentioned the podcast with col Cabana and the
<v Speaker 1>impact it had on people like him as he was
<v Speaker 1>getting pushed. It made his life more difficult and made
<v Speaker 1>his career in WWE more difficult as he was trying
<v Speaker 1>to get over. But all he had to hear about
<v Speaker 1>was CM Punk, CM Punk, or people resented him because
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk was gone and Roman Reigns was the chosen one.
<v Speaker 1>You made my life difficult, Cult. I never forgot that
<v Speaker 1>and all the other things that he talked about here
<v Speaker 1>in this segment. I love drawing from that history and
<v Speaker 1>all the ground that they were able to cover to
<v Speaker 1>really make it feel personal, like it's not just another
<v Speaker 1>wrestling match. Yeah, for a WrestleMania main event. That's what
<v Speaker 1>you should strive to do, right there should be at
<v Speaker 1>its core wrestling is best when there is a personal
<v Speaker 1>issue to draw from, and it's at its best when
<v Speaker 1>it's just one on one. Last year it was a
<v Speaker 1>triple threat match you had seth Rollins involved. Those three
<v Speaker 1>guys went out there last year and had an excellent match.
<v Speaker 1>That and the triple threat that opened night too. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>technically you could say they back to back matches right
<v Speaker 1>the way they ended Night one and the way they
<v Speaker 1>opened Night two, two of the best triple threat matches
<v Speaker 1>in WWE that you'll ever see. But it was still
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't about Roman in Punk. The focus was not
<v Speaker 1>Roman in Punk, even though it was their first time
<v Speaker 1>in the ring together. It was about Paul Hayman. So
<v Speaker 1>this year it's a very different type of match now,
<v Speaker 1>where the focus can be more on these two guys,
<v Speaker 1>their history and their inflated egos because they have gigantic egos.
<v Speaker 1>They both think they're the best. Before Punk came back,
<v Speaker 1>the Needle Mover comments, remember that, I think Punk was
<v Speaker 1>still in aw at that time, and Roman had made
<v Speaker 1>some sort of comment about Needle Mover, like there's history
<v Speaker 1>there that you can draw from in this feud. So
<v Speaker 1>they hit a home run with this segment here, this one.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to say this save the show because
<v Speaker 1>this one segment couldn't save the entire show. I thought
<v Speaker 1>this show, outside of the cold open that they did
<v Speaker 1>with bron Breaker and then what we saw here in
<v Speaker 1>the last fifteen minutes or so, those were the best
<v Speaker 1>parts of the show. Everything in the middle very much
<v Speaker 1>a mixed bag, mostly boring. It just did not grab me.
<v Speaker 1>As far as what they were doing in the matches
<v Speaker 1>that we saw, there was just nothing that was terribly good.
<v Speaker 1>But this segment made you forget about all of that
<v Speaker 1>because it was all about what we saw here and
<v Speaker 1>we didn't have to wait. I thought they were gonna
<v Speaker 1>make us wait and find out, Okay, who's he gonna pick?
<v Speaker 1>Are they gonna make us wait until after the elimination chamber? No,
<v Speaker 1>they didn't. I like that. They went right to it
<v Speaker 1>and said, fuck this, I pick you. I pick you
<v Speaker 1>because I don't like you. That's it. That's all you need.
<v Speaker 1>I pick you because I don't like you. And here's why.
<v Speaker 1>When wrestling is kept simple is when it is at
<v Speaker 1>its best. But you need to have the right personalities
<v Speaker 1>to make it work, and in this case, they do
<v Speaker 1>so again, coming out of the Royal Rumble, I was
<v Speaker 1>not overly enthusiastic about. Okay, Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go again, and the only match that really,
<v Speaker 1>as I looked at it, that I cared to see
<v Speaker 1>given the options available, was Roman in Punk. But then
<v Speaker 1>you they wonder like, how are they going to promote
<v Speaker 1>the match? If this is a sign of how they
<v Speaker 1>intend to promote the match, then we're in for a treat.
<v Speaker 1>But can they sustain this? Can they sustain this for
<v Speaker 1>the next two I guess two months, it is, right,
<v Speaker 1>two and a half months. That's the question. How often
<v Speaker 1>will we get to see Cem punkin Roman Reigns on
<v Speaker 1>television together? Now for the next few weeks, he really
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have to be around because it's gonna be about
<v Speaker 1>Punk and Finn Balor. But as soon as they get
<v Speaker 1>beyond the Chamber in Chicago, they got to go right
<v Speaker 1>back to this and hopefully we'll be able to see
<v Speaker 1>Roman a little more often to justify him being back
<v Speaker 1>in the Wrestlemanium main event again, because that was my
<v Speaker 1>issue with this from the beginning. If the guy makes
<v Speaker 1>half a dozen appearances over the course of a year.
<v Speaker 1>It's a lot, and sure he earned that schedule, but
<v Speaker 1>it also just it drags down the show. You know,
<v Speaker 1>when he's not around. If we get to see this
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns on television more often, I have no issue
<v Speaker 1>with that. Him winning the championship, that's a different story.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think he needs to win the championship, especially
<v Speaker 1>if he's not going to be full time. I still
<v Speaker 1>I have an issue with that, And because we've been there,
<v Speaker 1>we've done that already, you know, part time champions. It
<v Speaker 1>doesn't work. It actively drags down the show that I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to see. But they sold me on the
<v Speaker 1>match with this one segment. This was great stuff. This
<v Speaker 1>is the sort of thing that makes wrestling fun and enjoyable.
<v Speaker 1>When you can really sink your teeth into a story
<v Speaker 1>like this and a rivalry like this, that's when it's
<v Speaker 1>at its best. So five stars for this closing segment here.
<v Speaker 1>Not a great show, but a great closing segment. Let's
<v Speaker 1>take a look at the Twitter polsee what you guys thought.
<v Speaker 1>A raw from Philly fifty six percent thumbs up. And
<v Speaker 1>I will say the majority of that fifty six percent,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure stems from that closing segment, twenty six point
<v Speaker 1>three percent thumbs in the middle, seventeen points seven percent
<v Speaker 1>thumbs down, and that is with fourteen hundred votes and counting.
<v Speaker 1>So to go vote at Solo Monster on X, Aaron says,
<v Speaker 1>do you think the career killer gimmick would have been
<v Speaker 1>better suited for Logan Paul? I think he'd have much
<v Speaker 1>more heat than Gunther has. The cocky promos and wanting
<v Speaker 1>legends gone, disrespecting them fits him more. Yeah, But the
<v Speaker 1>idea of him going around beating all these legends and
<v Speaker 1>being John seen his last match, and AJ's last match
<v Speaker 1>and all these people's last match, Like, I don't I
<v Speaker 1>don't like that. I mean, it would make more sense
<v Speaker 1>for him to be going around gloating about it. That's
<v Speaker 1>the sort of thing he would do. But I don't
<v Speaker 1>want him. I really don't care for him in that role. Hey, Emoji, Matt,
<v Speaker 1>thank you buy or sal Jay Lethal's impression of Rick
<v Speaker 1>Flair or Jay Lethal's impression of Macho Man, says Victor.
<v Speaker 1>For me, it's Macho Man. They're both very good, but
<v Speaker 1>I gotta go Macho Man, And he says, as a fan,
<v Speaker 1>which era of WWE means more to you Golden Era
<v Speaker 1>or Attitude Era. For me, it's the Golden Era. I
<v Speaker 1>find myself even now, Like we mentioned the Vault a
<v Speaker 1>moment ago, and they have some like if I'm putting
<v Speaker 1>it on, let's say a night before I go to bed,
<v Speaker 1>pop onto the Vault, see what's going on. Sometimes they
<v Speaker 1>have like a live stream going on if it's Golden
<v Speaker 1>Era stuff, like I'm watching it. If it's Attitude Era stuff, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's fifty to fifty, And that right there tells you.
<v Speaker 1>It's just there's something about that Golden Era because I
<v Speaker 1>grew up with it, so I just have more of
<v Speaker 1>an affinity for it. And I'm grateful I grew up.
<v Speaker 1>I was still young enough where the Attitude Era was great.
<v Speaker 1>If you were watching during that Monday Night War period,
<v Speaker 1>it was the most fun time to be a fan.
<v Speaker 1>It was great. But I just have a certain nostalgia
<v Speaker 1>for the Golden Era that it has a lot more
<v Speaker 1>replay value for me at any given moment. It's just
<v Speaker 1>one of those things like if you have a favorite
<v Speaker 1>movie and you're flipping channels and it's on, like you'll
<v Speaker 1>stop and watch it. That's me and the Golden era stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony says they've officially turned Braun into a geek.
<v Speaker 1>That opening segment was embarrassing for him. Him slipping on
<v Speaker 1>his way out of the ring didn't help either. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that didn't help. I like the way the
<v Speaker 1>segment was done. I'll tell you what bothered me more
<v Speaker 1>the fact that I can remember the segment where he
<v Speaker 1>excommunicated seth Rollins from the vision and it looked like
<v Speaker 1>he was really going to take the reins of the
<v Speaker 1>group and everybody, like even Hayman was walking around on
<v Speaker 1>eggshells around this guy. And I kind of had like
<v Speaker 1>a sense of where they might be going with it,
<v Speaker 1>and they went in a totally different direction. Like they
<v Speaker 1>had the opportunity to turn him into a fucking killer
<v Speaker 1>and really make something out of this guy, and they
<v Speaker 1>totally dropped the ball with it. They were like, Nope,
<v Speaker 1>this is not in our plans right now. We can't
<v Speaker 1>deviate from our plans. Like, even if you ended up
<v Speaker 1>not putting the championship on him, the follow up to
<v Speaker 1>that angle was atrocious. It was such a great angle
<v Speaker 1>and then they did nothing with it. They did nothing
<v Speaker 1>to follow up on it, total waste that bothered me more.
<v Speaker 1>I remember being so excited about it when I was
<v Speaker 1>reviewing it and talking about it that night, and the
<v Speaker 1>possibilities of where it could go and everything. And it's
<v Speaker 1>just like, man, you talk about being handed gold and
<v Speaker 1>just throwing it away. Dry Chicken says, the Bela Army
<v Speaker 1>is back. They want to finish their story. Let them
<v Speaker 1>win it go away. Bronze voice crack was funny. His voice.
<v Speaker 1>His voice is actually cracked in a few different promos.
<v Speaker 1>He'll be cutting this like serious, like intense promo and
<v Speaker 1>then he'll be like, eh, I don't know why it
<v Speaker 1>sounded like Paul Barrett there for a second. Dry Chicken says,
<v Speaker 1>I know you don't want me in the WWE creative room,
<v Speaker 1>but after watching Unreal, I would give the creative team
<v Speaker 1>beer wings and pizza in marijuana. Yeah, I don't. I
<v Speaker 1>don't need you in that room. I need you here.

<v Speaker 1>Row feels so lifeless nowadays. There's just no heat for
<v Speaker 1>any of the matches. I don't understand it. It's like
<v Speaker 1>people just pay to see the entrances. You just hit it,
<v Speaker 1>You just hit the nail on the head, brother, That's
<v Speaker 1>exactly what they paid for. This is what happens when
<v Speaker 1>you overcharge for tickets. You price out a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the longtime fans who either can't afford to go or
<v Speaker 1>they're just not dumb enough to spend those kinds of
<v Speaker 1>prices on some of these stupid shows. And so what
<v Speaker 1>you end up with. And this is what my fear
<v Speaker 1>was the entire time, and I even talked about this
<v Speaker 1>on the sound off, Like, as time goes on and
<v Speaker 1>they continue to price fans out of these shows, what
<v Speaker 1>is the makeup of the audience going to look like?
<v Speaker 1>How is the audience makeup going to change? You're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a completely different type of fan base sad of this,
<v Speaker 1>Like the really hardcore, diehard fans will still be there,
<v Speaker 1>but you're gonna change what a typical WWE audience looks like.
<v Speaker 1>And what you're left with now a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>time is an audience that's there for the stars and
<v Speaker 1>the entrances. That's exactly what they're there for and to sing.
<v Speaker 1>They want to sing Robin Ren Cody Cody ra like this,
<v Speaker 1>that's what they want to do. That's it, that's it.
<v Speaker 1>So you hit the nail right on the head there.
<v Speaker 1>They're not paying for the wrestling anymore. They're not paying
<v Speaker 1>for the show. They're paying for the experience, Phil, not
<v Speaker 1>the plastic bracelet. Lol. This segment ain't bad, Paul Van
<v Speaker 1>Summer and now that was a fucking promo. Great back
<v Speaker 1>and forth and both guys speaking truth. Chris O'Neil deaf
<v Speaker 1>Rebel strikes again. Alexander Grees deaf Rebel committed a hate
<v Speaker 1>crime against Stephanie. It's awful, just awful. Dry Chicken says
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. Being unfazed is dangerous. I really want Roman
<v Speaker 1>to bury Triple H and his favorites six feet under
<v Speaker 1>to the damn ground. He is one of Triple H's favorites.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what you're talking about. You do realize that,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I know he was really Vince's favorite, but
<v Speaker 1>I look at Roman as a Triple H guy. Let
<v Speaker 1>me tell you something, Triple H taking over creative when
<v Speaker 1>he did. He owes everything to Roman Reigns because he
<v Speaker 1>inherited the Bloodline story, and Triple H has relied very
<v Speaker 1>heavily on the bloodline. That's why he was getting a
<v Speaker 1>lot of praise for his booking. Why do you think
<v Speaker 1>that was because the Bloodline story was in full effect?
<v Speaker 1>He inherited that story, and I think that it colored people's,
<v Speaker 1>you know, sort of vision of his creative prowess in WWE.
<v Speaker 1>I definitely think there was some of that going on.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he got a little too overpraised for it. And
<v Speaker 1>then when the Bloodline story finally ran its course, which
<v Speaker 1>it did, all of a sudden, the blooms started coming
<v Speaker 1>off the roads a little bit. So if anybody should
<v Speaker 1>be in great debt and appreciation to Roman Reigns, it
<v Speaker 1>is Triple H. Super Pony says, I'm begging Roman to
<v Speaker 1>show up for the entirety of the build because that
<v Speaker 1>promo was incredible. Please, my tribal chief, my OTC, don't
<v Speaker 1>ruin this for us. Oh we got Alec his brother solo.
<v Speaker 1>What's up with these conflicting reports on Jericho's aw contract
<v Speaker 1>status at this point? Would you expect to see him
<v Speaker 1>return to WWE the Raw after Mania? I don't know when,
<v Speaker 1>but I expect to see him back in WWI. At
<v Speaker 1>this point, I don't know when, and I don't really
<v Speaker 1>give a shit, but I'm still thinking he ends up
<v Speaker 1>back in WWI. William Valencia solo. Something doesn't feel right.
<v Speaker 1>Where is the WrestleMania sign behind you? You have to
<v Speaker 1>start pointing at the sign. We ain't got no WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>sign this year, not yet anyway, I'm getting my WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>Saudi sign ready for next year. Brian ah De Green Boy.
<v Speaker 1>I really enjoyed that CM Punk and Roman Reigns promo.
<v Speaker 1>Battle Punk is one of the goats on the mic,
<v Speaker 1>but Roman more than held his own. I think Roman
<v Speaker 1>not only more than held his own. If I had
<v Speaker 1>to give the edge to one or the other, I
<v Speaker 1>would give the edge to Roman in that segment. Dev
<v Speaker 1>to Dust the two thousand and six Chicago Bears is
<v Speaker 1>one of the worst teams to play in the Super Bowl. Also,
<v Speaker 1>Game seven of the twenty sixteen World Series is one
<v Speaker 1>of the best games ever. We're putting that New York
<v Speaker 1>Rat groundhog in the friar that is from Emperor Comet.
<v Speaker 1>You can have him. You can have him and cook
<v Speaker 1>him up. Be Man the champ Our Canadian Groundhog didn't
<v Speaker 1>see his shadow. I guess that means we get spring
<v Speaker 1>early suckers. We'll put him in the friar too. Justin
<v Speaker 1>g thank you for the twenty five. How about the
<v Speaker 1>women's rumble though, well it was definitely better than the men's.
<v Speaker 1>And then Justin with the thirteen says, the best super
<v Speaker 1>chats always rise to the top. Dig It death scythe
<v Speaker 1>here's an idea in the elimination Chamber match. It comes
<v Speaker 1>down to Cody and Jacob and they do a spot
<v Speaker 1>where it ends in a double pinfall, and that's how
<v Speaker 1>we get Cody Drew Jacob at wrestle Mania of forty two. Well,
<v Speaker 1>then where does Randy fitt in? I think they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>leave Randy Orton off the WrestleMania card in a relatively
<v Speaker 1>big match. What does he do if he's not part
<v Speaker 1>of it? I mean, look, he has been in the scene,
<v Speaker 1>Cody dropped him in the rumble with a Cody cutter.
<v Speaker 1>Does he not factor into this in some way? So
<v Speaker 1>you think they're doing a triple thread and not a
<v Speaker 1>fatal four way, because if they don't do a four way,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not quite sure where Orton lands in this retro
<v Speaker 1>koh says, all we needed was Stephanie coming out and
<v Speaker 1>yelling at bron Breaker put him down. He's a civilian.
<v Speaker 1>Forgot that. She said that about the cameraman in the
<v Speaker 1>brock Angle Golden Boy. The mass man is Logan, Paul.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it would be kind of it would be
<v Speaker 1>kind of funny if it ended up being him. I
<v Speaker 1>was half joking about it the other night. But whoever
<v Speaker 1>did it, somebody zoomed it on the face has a
<v Speaker 1>has a beard. So Logan is at least in contention
<v Speaker 1>for the spot Chicago for MBK CM Punk and Roman
<v Speaker 1>was Fire and seeing a truly angry Gunther just manhandled
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee with Lee hanging limp in Gunther's grip. Need
<v Speaker 1>more of it? Yeah. It reminded me of when Brody
<v Speaker 1>King did that to Darby Allen. They had that Royal
<v Speaker 1>Rampage match a few years ago. He got him in
<v Speaker 1>a sleeper over the ropes and he just choked him
<v Speaker 1>out and Darby just went limp and then he let
<v Speaker 1>go and Darby just went right down on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Tito lies I saw so many commercials. It's not funny anymore.
<v Speaker 1>It was never funny, it's even less funny. Now it
<v Speaker 1>feels like I'm watching commercials featuring raw as opposed to
<v Speaker 1>raw featuring commercials. Mactub I remember you used to rate
<v Speaker 1>Breaking Bad is your goat show, but recently said Sopranos. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's interchangeable. Top three are Sopranos, breaking Bed
<v Speaker 1>in the Shield. Those are my top three, and Better
<v Speaker 1>Call Saul is not too far behind. Better Call Saul is.
<v Speaker 1>It's definitely in that breaking bed territory. Navy says AJ
<v Speaker 1>should have saved that Mark Henry speech for twenty twenty six.
<v Speaker 1>Well apparently not. I mean, if he's serious about being done,
<v Speaker 1>then there's no need for Mark Henry speech. Justin g
<v Speaker 1>Kaiser knowing Spanish was the biggest shock to me. Kaiser
<v Speaker 1>knowing Spanish is a big part of why he is
<v Speaker 1>so over in TRIPLEA. The lesson here is that it
<v Speaker 1>could be very beneficial to learn another language. You never
<v Speaker 1>know it might come in handy for you. Tyler Cole,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the ten. Tyler says if Roman made
<v Speaker 1>some of those points against twenty ten punk, would he
<v Speaker 1>have held his own The bracelet line from the guy
<v Speaker 1>who's had necklace matches for three years alone, was priceless.
<v Speaker 1>The Ula Falla matches Come on Now Lala, though, is
<v Speaker 1>a tribal custom. Though you can't compare the Uhla Falla
<v Speaker 1>to the plastic bracelet. That is funny though. Det Sithe says,
<v Speaker 1>I know they're not younger guys, but if guys like
<v Speaker 1>La Knight and Alistair Black were elevated to the main
<v Speaker 1>event level, they would still feel new and fresh in
<v Speaker 1>that scene, just like DDP and WCW in the late nineties. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's less of that age and more just
<v Speaker 1>when you elevate somebody new into the main event picture,
<v Speaker 1>it can feel fresh. When Batista got over as a
<v Speaker 1>headliner and won the world title for the first time,
<v Speaker 1>he was already forty. You know, age, age is less important.
<v Speaker 1>It's a matter of if you can get somebody new
<v Speaker 1>over in that spot. The reality is, you know you
<v Speaker 1>mentioned Alistair Black. Alistair Black ain't over nearly as much
<v Speaker 1>as La Night is, Like it just has not clicked
<v Speaker 1>for him. La Knight, despite not being viewed as someone
<v Speaker 1>who can be in that position by the company, clearly
<v Speaker 1>continues to be over. Alistair Black is not over. I
<v Speaker 1>would not I would not be comparing the two Mactubbs says,
<v Speaker 1>AJ after his first one and a half years was underutilized. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean they had him been a tag team with
<v Speaker 1>Omas and they were doing a bunch of things with him,
<v Speaker 1>half of which I can't even remember, honestly. And then
<v Speaker 1>he was injured a few times, so there were some
<v Speaker 1>injuries in there too. His best year in WWE is
<v Speaker 1>still the first year he showed up, like his twenty
<v Speaker 1>sixteen is unmatched in his WWE run. Paul Carpenter, did
<v Speaker 1>you know one Man Gang had a tryout in the
<v Speaker 1>attitude there? I did know that. I did. Some of
<v Speaker 1>those guys had, like Earthquake. Earthquake had a dark match
<v Speaker 1>during a smack On taping in two thousand and one,
<v Speaker 1>if you could track it down on YouTube. It's wild
<v Speaker 1>to see him out there, and I think they had
<v Speaker 1>the ovaltron and I don't know if it was the
<v Speaker 1>ovaltron or maybe they had the fist at that point,
<v Speaker 1>but I think it was the ovaltron, and there's Earthquake,
<v Speaker 1>and obviously they ended up not picking him up. But
<v Speaker 1>it's just weird, like this doesn't really belong, This doesn't
<v Speaker 1>really fit. Death Site says if they do Gunther against
<v Speaker 1>Brock Lesner at SummerSlam. Then Gunther should do to Brock
<v Speaker 1>what Lesnar did to John Cena at SummerSlam in twenty fourteen.
<v Speaker 1>He should, but they're not going to that will not happen.
<v Speaker 1>Mass Man. Somebody asked about the mass Man. Jeremy Rowe says,
<v Speaker 1>Raw is in Atlanta on February twenty third. AJ gives
<v Speaker 1>his speech, then followed by Hall of Fame announcement buy
<v Speaker 1>er Cell Logan Paul masked man, I could buy on that.
<v Speaker 1>I could buy on it as far as like believing
<v Speaker 1>it'll end up being him AJ in the Hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 1>It's funny. At the beginning of the year, I said
<v Speaker 1>that AJ would be going into the TNA Hall of
<v Speaker 1>Fame this year, but I just assumed he would still
<v Speaker 1>be active through at least WrestleMania, So I never thought,
<v Speaker 1>like WWE Hall of Fame, I didn't think he'd be
<v Speaker 1>done this soon. If he really is done, then I
<v Speaker 1>could see that. I could definitely see that if he
<v Speaker 1>really truly is done and he's not going anywhere else.
<v Speaker 1>Death Side buy sell Rens on these fans driven roads
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleManias. The s movement for thirty, Kochy Mania for
<v Speaker 1>thirty five, or Cody's story for forty. Cody's story ended
<v Speaker 1>up being a lot more interesting because of the way
<v Speaker 1>everything kind of got blown up. So I would go
<v Speaker 1>forty and then thirty and then thirty five. Prince Vegeta,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be fucking with Adam Pierce. The man is
<v Speaker 1>a former five time NWA World champion. That's right. You
<v Speaker 1>don't fuck with a man with a drinking problem. Jeremy
<v Speaker 1>Rose says. So the Bellas say the women's tag division
<v Speaker 1>is stacked, but it's just the top women paired as teams. Well,
<v Speaker 1>that's why I feel so stacked, because you've actually got
<v Speaker 1>some big names in the division, Rhea Ripley and Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>Flair and EO Sky, Oscar mactub. Why do people use
<v Speaker 1>the longevity argument against the Rock but not Austin and
<v Speaker 1>Rock was more versatile and adaptable across eras who uses
<v Speaker 1>the longevity argument for against Rock but not Austin. I've
<v Speaker 1>always talked about how white hot Austin was, but how
<v Speaker 1>short that run was, So I don't know why other
<v Speaker 1>people would not mention that with Austin, I mean his
<v Speaker 1>run on top. It depends when you say it started.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think it started in ninety seven or ninety eight.
<v Speaker 1>Really it started in ninety eight, and you you know,
<v Speaker 1>you almost can't even count most of two thousand because
<v Speaker 1>he missed most of that year. So if you take
<v Speaker 1>most of that year out, you have ninety eight, ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and one, two thousand and two, four and
<v Speaker 1>a half years at best. At best Rock was a
<v Speaker 1>little bit longer. But Austin was just that guy. He
<v Speaker 1>was the right guy in the right place at the
<v Speaker 1>right time, with the right feud against the boss, and
<v Speaker 1>it's just this iconic feud. It's iconic. It's like Hogan
<v Speaker 1>and Andre WrestleMania three. Not the best match, but it's
<v Speaker 1>iconic because it was the right match to do at
<v Speaker 1>that time and that Slam and you know that all
<v Speaker 1>the people in the Pontiac Silver Dome. It's just sometimes
<v Speaker 1>there are just moments and there are just people at
<v Speaker 1>the right time who come along and they're that guy.
<v Speaker 1>And that's who Austin was. He is the face of
<v Speaker 1>an era that you could say business wise, they're making
<v Speaker 1>more money now, but he is and will forever be
<v Speaker 1>the face of the most successful era in the history
<v Speaker 1>of that company period. End of story. Certainly the most
<v Speaker 1>fun death side is Adam Pierce and bron Breaker are
<v Speaker 1>gonna end up fighting like Sid and Arn I hope not.
<v Speaker 1>They almost die in that fight and one guy got
<v Speaker 1>fired because of it, Prince Begeta. Another thing that was
<v Speaker 1>weird about the Oba segment is that he is a
<v Speaker 1>babyface and the Vikings are faces, so he's just attacking
<v Speaker 1>other baby faces. Yeah, and the fans don't care because
<v Speaker 1>they're not over so it doesn't matter. And I'll guarantee
<v Speaker 1>you that somebody made that argument in the creative meeting,
<v Speaker 1>like no one's gonna care because the problem with the
<v Speaker 1>war Raiders is that every time they come out and
<v Speaker 1>they play their music and they come out on TV
<v Speaker 1>and it's sad, you know, I feel bad for them,
<v Speaker 1>Like the crowd just doesn't react. They come out to crickets.
<v Speaker 1>I remember when they came out for their title match
<v Speaker 1>or WrestleMania last year, nobody cared, Like they just don't
<v Speaker 1>react to them. So I don't think the company looked
<v Speaker 1>at it and thought, well, we got to be careful
<v Speaker 1>here because they're babyfaces and so if we have him
<v Speaker 1>beat up baby faces. They made boo Obafemi. They're not
<v Speaker 1>gonna boo Obafemi because he beat up the Viking Raiders
<v Speaker 1>like they don't care. Javeli says, yes, you say no
<v Speaker 1>to aj Lee returned to team up. Would see him
<v Speaker 1>punk to face Seth and Becky and it was Facebook
<v Speaker 1>not me. I was face. Okay, I think I understand
<v Speaker 1>what you're saying. This is from the other night. Let's
<v Speaker 1>just say Jericho doesn't return before WrestleMania, who will La
<v Speaker 1>Knight face? Well, the better question is if La Knight
<v Speaker 1>does not wrestle Chris Jericho WrestleMania, do they even give
<v Speaker 1>l A. Knight a singles match at WrestleMania. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it would probably make sense for it to be a
<v Speaker 1>member of the Vision. We've already seen him in Logan,
<v Speaker 1>Paul though, right, that was a Summer Slim match, and
<v Speaker 1>I think they were part of the same WrestleMania match, Right,
<v Speaker 1>wasn't it a wasn't it a triple threat? Was it?
<v Speaker 1>Orton Knight in Logan? But those are three guys. I
<v Speaker 1>think those are the three guys. But then La and
<v Speaker 1>I got that big win for the US title over
<v Speaker 1>him at Summerslim. Yeah. I don't know either remember of
<v Speaker 1>the vision or he may not get on the WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>card this year unless it's some sort of multiman match.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy says, Bailey and bird Girl got to win the
<v Speaker 1>tag belts to job to the Bellas. Won't be the
<v Speaker 1>first time the Bellos get over on Bailey at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>I hope so. I hope Ria and Eo lose those
<v Speaker 1>belts to Bailey and Lyra before WrestleMania. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to see Rhea, Ripley and Eo Sky trapped with the
<v Speaker 1>Bellas as their big WrestleMania match. A ratia. When did
<v Speaker 1>this thing start where the heels get punished and kicked
<v Speaker 1>out of the building for doing heel things. It started
<v Speaker 1>years and years and years ago. Heels have been getting
<v Speaker 1>kicked out of buildings for decades. There were lots of
<v Speaker 1>heels who were kicked out of buildings, even during the
<v Speaker 1>Attitude era we were just talking about in the Nitro era,
<v Speaker 1>that actually is around the time that it's stuck. I
<v Speaker 1>think the first angle I can remember well, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>unless you want to count the night that Bobby Heenan
<v Speaker 1>got thrown out of the building by Guerrilla mon Soon.
<v Speaker 1>That was in ninety three, But I was going to
<v Speaker 1>say was around the mid nineties that I probably saw
<v Speaker 1>the first angle in WWE anyway, where Guerrilla mond Soon
<v Speaker 1>threw maybe it was Austin out of the building. It's
<v Speaker 1>been done a lot over the year. They do it
<v Speaker 1>more often now. But Bas Beers, Oba and Brocs should
<v Speaker 1>have been in the final four. Oba Femi should have
<v Speaker 1>eliminated brock Lesner from the Royal Rumble, and the way
<v Speaker 1>they did Brocklesner's elimination was a complete and utter fucking waste.
<v Speaker 1>So if that's how they were going to eliminate brock
<v Speaker 1>there was no reason for them not to have Oba
<v Speaker 1>dump him out of the ring. That was a wasted opportunity.
<v Speaker 1>There were a lot of very head scratching decisions as
<v Speaker 1>far as how things were booked in that rumble, and
<v Speaker 1>you could tell they don't have anybody like Pat Patterson
<v Speaker 1>as far as the mind that he had for these rumbles.
<v Speaker 1>They ain't got nobody like him backstage. When he died,
<v Speaker 1>it all went with him. They don't have anybody like
<v Speaker 1>that back there, that's for sure. Erasia says, why does
<v Speaker 1>Hayman envision keep holding bron Breaker back or trying to
<v Speaker 1>keep him in check. Man should be a vicious killer. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's kind of how they were trying to
<v Speaker 1>portray him in the opening segment, and that's part of
<v Speaker 1>it's part of portraying him that way is that it's
<v Speaker 1>too extreme even for his partners, and they're trying to
<v Speaker 1>control him and he's like uncontrollable. That's why they do that.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy says, Brock La Knights at WrestleMania. I'm sorry, I
<v Speaker 1>know that's not the reaction you were you were looking
<v Speaker 1>for there, but that's that's funny. That's funny. Are you
<v Speaker 1>seriously asking me would they do Brock Lesner and La
<v Speaker 1>Night at WrestleMania if you're an La Night fan? I
<v Speaker 1>have a better question. If you are an La Night fan,
<v Speaker 1>why and gods in God's name would you want him
<v Speaker 1>to wrestle Brock Alesna or WrestleMania. You know exactly how
<v Speaker 1>that match is gonna go. It ain't gonna end well
<v Speaker 1>for La Night. There's no La Night fan out there
<v Speaker 1>that should be hoping for a Brock Alesnar La Night
<v Speaker 1>match at WrestleMania. Not unless you have it out for
<v Speaker 1>this guy, Alexander Sis. Stephanie said on Chris Van Vliet's
<v Speaker 1>show that she begged Sean to keep her music when
<v Speaker 1>she went to the main roster. They wanted to change
<v Speaker 1>it back then, Well they finally got their wish. Congratulations,
<v Speaker 1>you made it worse. The Mount Vernon kid, Christopher Bennett,
<v Speaker 1>I wish Adam Pierce said to him, and if you
<v Speaker 1>don't get out of my face, I'll bounce you, just
<v Speaker 1>like your checks used to in Philly. No less imagine
<v Speaker 1>him making that comment in Philly. Death Side says, imagine
<v Speaker 1>if deaf Rebel tried to deaf Rebel brock Lesner. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think they know better than that. That's the one
<v Speaker 1>person they will not be deaf rebeling. The Viking Raider
<v Speaker 1>was such a Vince move, something I always hated. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's just generally no good reason to do
<v Speaker 1>that and kill one of your tag teams, unless again,
<v Speaker 1>unless they're on their way out, and then it doesn't matter. Carlos,
<v Speaker 1>Why do I have a feeling that seth Rollins will
<v Speaker 1>be added to Roman versus Punk? Yeah? I mean I
<v Speaker 1>get him wanting his title back, but what you just
<v Speaker 1>proposed is literally the match we got last year. You
<v Speaker 1>cannot do that. You cannot add Seth Rolins to the
<v Speaker 1>match and do the same match they did at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>forty one. That makes no sense. The match at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>is probably if he's back in time, it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins against bron Breaker. Because now we know bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker is not wrestling for a championship or WrestleMania. What
<v Speaker 1>the hell else is he gonna do. What other match
<v Speaker 1>even makes sense other than Seth Rollins That that would
<v Speaker 1>be banking on the fact that Seth Rollins is going
<v Speaker 1>to be medically cleared in time to wrestle At WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>then you do Seth Rollins against bron Breaker. You do not
<v Speaker 1>add him to Roman Reigns and Cempunk. We got a
<v Speaker 1>twenty dollars super chat here from Powerful One. What would
<v Speaker 1>really get the World Heavyweight Championship over is if Roman
<v Speaker 1>loses first time he goes for Little Bro, he fails.
<v Speaker 1>Punk can say to be the world heavyweight champion, you
<v Speaker 1>got to beat the best. Roman, you aren't good enough
<v Speaker 1>to be the best, and not good enough to be
<v Speaker 1>the world heavyweight Champion. I don't think I don't know
<v Speaker 1>that would harm Roman's ego they did that. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that he's he's not. It's too early to make
<v Speaker 1>a prediction. I'm not saying he's gonna win. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying he's not gonna win. Probably not gonna win the title.
<v Speaker 1>He's not gonna be around after WrestleMania. He usually takes
<v Speaker 1>his Mania a SummerSlam vacation. But I don't think they're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have Punk go out there and bury Roman quite
<v Speaker 1>that badly. Justin g they were literally doing ab testing
<v Speaker 1>with a live audience. That tells me one thing. They
<v Speaker 1>don't know what they want to do or where they're going.
<v Speaker 1>Who's the heel, who's the face? What did the fans want?
<v Speaker 1>You could tell when they're trying to get a response here,
<v Speaker 1>like where do you think we should go? Should we go?
<v Speaker 1>And Drew McIntyre, should we go? With Cmpunk? I'm I'm
<v Speaker 1>fairly certain they had their mind made up on that
<v Speaker 1>at least a few weeks ago. But sometimes they do that.
<v Speaker 1>They did that with Bretton Lueger in the ninety four Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>It's exactly what they did once they heard the reaction
<v Speaker 1>to Brett. It just affirmed, Okay, we gotta go with Brett,
<v Speaker 1>So Lex never won the belt, justin g they were
<v Speaker 1>oh we just read that. One Death's Side says Punk
<v Speaker 1>and Roman both lost to seth Rollins or wrestle Many
<v Speaker 1>of forty one. So now it's like Punk and Roman
<v Speaker 1>are going to find out who the bigger loser out
<v Speaker 1>of the two of them is. Yeah, but you know what,
<v Speaker 1>after the promo tonight, you get a segment like that,
<v Speaker 1>ain't nobody going to be thinking about WrestleMania forty one
<v Speaker 1>last year? Like that segment tonight was a money segment
<v Speaker 1>and it washes all that other Well, that stuff doesn't
<v Speaker 1>even matter now, but you got to keep it up.
<v Speaker 1>One good segment on the road to WRESTLEMANI is not
<v Speaker 1>gonna be enough. You're gonna have to have more in
<v Speaker 1>the vein of what we saw tonight. That's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>the key. A shout out to Abbas all the way
<v Speaker 1>from Iraq in the Chat Javeli with an Australian twenty
<v Speaker 1>In your opinion, why Tamina Snook never won the WWE
<v Speaker 1>Women's Championship because she wasn't that great. They had plenty
<v Speaker 1>of other women on the roster who were better than her.
<v Speaker 1>Very simple. Besides the scene of match at SummerSlam, favorite
<v Speaker 1>AJ match for twenty sixteen. Probably it was one of
<v Speaker 1>the Roman Reigns matches. It was right after WrestleMania. They
<v Speaker 1>headlined two pay per views, and I think it might
<v Speaker 1>have been their second match that was better than the
<v Speaker 1>first one. But it was definitely one of those Roman matches.
<v Speaker 1>They had a couple of really good matches on pay
<v Speaker 1>per view that year. Justin says, a suffering fuck a
<v Speaker 1>path amazing Matt Fisher, what type of blood is disagreeable? Oh? Negative?
<v Speaker 1>Death Side Matt was really you were really proud of
<v Speaker 1>that one, weren't you? Yeah? Death Side all seriousness. I
<v Speaker 1>hope Punk and Romans feud is a lot like the
<v Speaker 1>feud between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. They had a
<v Speaker 1>memorable feud back in eight and did not like each other.
<v Speaker 1>Javelis has thought of thoughts on A and E replacing
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker and Michelle with Naddy and Kevin Owens for season
<v Speaker 1>three of LFG. I think Kevin Owens being on that
<v Speaker 1>show is instantly gonna make that show better. I approve
<v Speaker 1>of that move. Are we getting Randy versus Gunther at
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania of forty two. I don't think so, because I
<v Speaker 1>don't think Orton is going anywhere. I think Orton still
<v Speaker 1>has got a few years left, and unless he's losing,
<v Speaker 1>there's no point in doing the match because you're not
<v Speaker 1>going to have them go to WrestleMania and just have
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton be Gunther. That would be very dumb. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't see that happening. M Mills with a nine
<v Speaker 1>to ninety nine. Thank you, M Mills, and thank you
<v Speaker 1>again for your great support. Much appreciated this weekend. I
<v Speaker 1>hope you're having a great night, Super Pony, old fraud voice.
<v Speaker 1>You know, the one thing I hate about what we
<v Speaker 1>do is fans acting like critics and not fans just
<v Speaker 1>shutting up and being a fan. Don't be a critic.
<v Speaker 1>Bass beer is Roman has main evented so many WrestleManias. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this will be number eleven eleven WrestleManias. Imagine if I
<v Speaker 1>was sitting here in twenty twenty two. Okay, so that
<v Speaker 1>would have been WrestleMania thirty eight in Dallas, right the
<v Speaker 1>last like Vince WrestleMania. You remember the main event of
<v Speaker 1>that WrestleMania Roman reigns against brock Lesner, Champion against Champion.
<v Speaker 1>I remember that. Imagine I'm sitting here on the podcast
<v Speaker 1>in twenty twenty two and Roman had just made a
<v Speaker 1>end to the WrestleMania before as well. But if I
<v Speaker 1>was sitting here, I'm like, Hey, guess what, guys in
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six, guess who's going to be made of
<v Speaker 1>ending WrestleMania roaming reigns. What do you think the reaction
<v Speaker 1>would have been? Well, here we are, so you can
<v Speaker 1>understand why like it just after a while, it's like,
<v Speaker 1>this is kind of ridiculous. From Punk Satani, From Punk
<v Speaker 1>Satani to Hell with the Groundhog, says h clay VMan.
<v Speaker 1>We got Dan. If you would have told me three
<v Speaker 1>months ago the Solemn Monster would be wondering where Kit
<v Speaker 1>Wilson is during the Royal Rumble, I would ask what
<v Speaker 1>you're smoking? And I'm still gonna sit here and wonder
<v Speaker 1>where was Kit Wilson during the or Kit will Soon?
<v Speaker 1>Where was Kit will Soon during the Royal Rumble? Makes
<v Speaker 1>no sense. Matt Fisher Dom should play Orco in the
<v Speaker 1>New Masters of the Universe movie. Orco never had a
<v Speaker 1>mustache quite that great and ranked these three, uh for me,
<v Speaker 1>Van Hammer, Rick Fuller, Scoot Andrews. I mean the only
<v Speaker 1>I'm only gonna rank one because the only one from
<v Speaker 1>that list that really matters is Van Hammer. Enough said
<v Speaker 1>death Sithe Roman Reigns went from Jack and the Beanstalk
<v Speaker 1>to if y'all keep wadding me, I'm gonna smash all
<v Speaker 1>y'all like I would smash Steve Austin. See what he
<v Speaker 1>should have said is I'm gonna smash all y'all like
<v Speaker 1>I would smash your mom. That would have gotten a
<v Speaker 1>reaction warm corn with a five dollars super chap, buy, sell, rent, layaway.
<v Speaker 1>Most cursed Bald Brett Hart, Seth Rogan as Batman undertaker
<v Speaker 1>with the spinner belt, Skinny Yoko Zuna in jeans. That
<v Speaker 1>was a real rumor undertaker with a spinner belt. By far,
<v Speaker 1>is the most cursed Bald Brett Hart would be would
<v Speaker 1>be very bad. Bald bred Hart just doesn't work. And
<v Speaker 1>then I'll, I don't know, I'll rent on Seth Rogan
<v Speaker 1>as Batman and buy on Skinny Yoko Zuna. He was skinny,
<v Speaker 1>he'd probably still be alive today. Death Side that will
<v Speaker 1>forever be the best receipt to the what chant. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm still partial to the undertakers. I still think he
<v Speaker 1>has the best one. Say what if you sleep with
<v Speaker 1>you sister? What that sounds about, right, Yuki? Oh rules.
<v Speaker 1>We didn't hear anything yet, but I hope Kyrie is okay.
<v Speaker 1>I think Oscar just murdered her and just buried her
<v Speaker 1>in the in the desert out there in Saudi and
<v Speaker 1>then flew home. We haven't heard from Kyrie since the rumble.
<v Speaker 1>I am I am concerned about her well being. Oscar
<v Speaker 1>was not happy with her. Hey, mister Taylor made solo.
<v Speaker 1>I just joined as a member, and you didn't acknowledge me. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I'm acknowledging you now you are hereby acknowledged. Thank you,
<v Speaker 1>brother bas Beers. I thought Jericho was signed until like
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty eight, twenty twenty nine. Apparently not, Otherwise we
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't be getting all these reports over the last six
<v Speaker 1>months that he was going to be a free agent
<v Speaker 1>potentially in twenty twenty six. Obviously, something must have either
<v Speaker 1>happened or if someone got their lines all across. He
<v Speaker 1>is still listed on the aw roster page. You know,
<v Speaker 1>when Hobb's contract expired, they got him off there that
<v Speaker 1>that day at midnight. Last I checked, Jericho is still
<v Speaker 1>listed on that page. So I don't know what's going
<v Speaker 1>on now. Vernon Kid with forty five months of membership,
<v Speaker 1>Punk was holding back tonight. And you know what he's
<v Speaker 1>going to kill is when the raw logo is off
<v Speaker 1>the mic. Hey, he's got to pull that logo off
<v Speaker 1>the mic, then he means business. I think he pulled
<v Speaker 1>it off the mic that night that he called Dwayne
<v Speaker 1>a bald fraud. That didn't happen tonight. Death side. By
<v Speaker 1>the way, I had been advocating for a Cody Drew
<v Speaker 1>Orton Jacob match before Survivor Series. I just didn't think
<v Speaker 1>it would happen to WrestleMania. It just seems like they're
<v Speaker 1>primed for it at WrestleMania this year. Matt Fisher, the
<v Speaker 1>mass man was clearly Bronson Reichsteiner. Yeah. I had some
<v Speaker 1>people in my mentions telling me that it was Jake Paul.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, do we need this? Do we need this?
<v Speaker 1>Who asked for this? We just got the Bella Twins back.
<v Speaker 1>Now you want to give us the Paul Brothers, Jarrett
<v Speaker 1>Moose Rodriguez. Do you think Javon really needs to put
<v Speaker 1>on wait to eventually be a main event or someday
<v Speaker 1>or does that not matter as much in the present day.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it matters as much, but I do
<v Speaker 1>think if you want him to be taken seriously as
<v Speaker 1>a world heavyweight champion, yeah, he's gonna have to bulk
<v Speaker 1>up a little bit. I'm not saying he's gotta get
<v Speaker 1>like ginormous, but he's got to put some meat on
<v Speaker 1>those bones. I think if he's gonna be taken seriously
<v Speaker 1>in that spot, and when I say taken seriously, I
<v Speaker 1>mean by the creative team as well, like seeing him
<v Speaker 1>as a main event star. He's only twenty one years old,
<v Speaker 1>so he's still very young. But I do think as
<v Speaker 1>the years go on, he's gonna have to bulk up
<v Speaker 1>a little bit. We have a death sithe. Fuck it,
<v Speaker 1>let's put myself and Adam Pierce in a drinking contest.
<v Speaker 1>Place your bets and also my real name is Adam
<v Speaker 1>so was he man? Thank you that sith. We got
<v Speaker 1>jodyn l A. Knight and the Ussos against the Vision
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. No, the Usso's against the Luca Bros. At WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna keep saying it. I've been saying it for months.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna keep saying it. Bass Beerus, whatever happened to
<v Speaker 1>the New Day storyline got dropped, Biggie ain't coming back,
<v Speaker 1>Bass Beers, Thank you again, Ray Righten. At this point,
<v Speaker 1>Montese needs to give Bianca one of his knuckles. It's
<v Speaker 1>not like he's doing anything important. I miss my girl. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>look I miss her from TV, too, But I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on. We've got no updates. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I thought you were I started reading the super chat,
<v Speaker 1>I thought you were gonna say Montes needs to give
<v Speaker 1>Bianca a baby. I was like, you know, if she
<v Speaker 1>would have known she was going to be off for
<v Speaker 1>this long, she probably could have had a baby by now.
<v Speaker 1>She wants to start a family, that's gonna be another
<v Speaker 1>year and a half, at least a year and a
<v Speaker 1>half gone. You know, that's the thing with some of these,
<v Speaker 1>uh you know, the women's wrestlers. They gets super especially
<v Speaker 1>the ones that are super successful. It's very different from
<v Speaker 1>the men because they're if they want to start a family.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't know what her plans are, but you know,
<v Speaker 1>their window is very limited and they have to make
<v Speaker 1>a decision like what's more important, you know, starting a
<v Speaker 1>family or my career, because if you do that, your
<v Speaker 1>career is on hold for at least at least eighteen
<v Speaker 1>months two years. Bianca has already missed a year of
<v Speaker 1>her career. Sucks, Jeremy, says brock La Night WrestleMania. We
<v Speaker 1>already laughed that one out of the out of the stream.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Jeremy. You have to see the baby. You
<v Speaker 1>have to see the baby, Jerry, you have to see
<v Speaker 1>the baby. Furious Nation nine ninety nine, what's up? Solo?
<v Speaker 1>Happy Groundhog's Day? What's so happy about it? He saw
<v Speaker 1>his shadow? Six more weeks of this shit? After watching
<v Speaker 1>WWE Unreal Season two, Yeah, throw Road, Dug and Bruce
<v Speaker 1>in the bin, Ronda was right saying nothing will change
<v Speaker 1>as long as Bruce is still there. She really doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>She doesn't like Bruce. She really doesn't like Bruce. She
<v Speaker 1>called him Vince's avatar. He's still there. Ailey is on
<v Speaker 1>her retirement tour, but she didn't tell anybody. It really
<v Speaker 1>feels like she might leave when her contract is up,
<v Speaker 1>says Edward. That was one of my predictions actually for
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six is that she will leave and end
<v Speaker 1>up in AW. We'll see if I'm right. Jeremy Rose
<v Speaker 1>is La Knight, Broun WrestleMania, La Knight and Braun bron Breaker,
<v Speaker 1>M No, No, I think bron and Seth. If Seth
<v Speaker 1>is not cleared, then at that point you could do
<v Speaker 1>Braun and La Knight. That doesn't feel like a WrestleMania match.
<v Speaker 1>Though we've gotten that match on TV already. I hope
<v Speaker 1>Seth can be back, That's all I'm gonna say. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's gonna screw things up for bron Breaker if
<v Speaker 1>Seth's not back, death Sithe. Also, here's a way to
<v Speaker 1>elevate the World heavyweight title. Add the two thousand and
<v Speaker 1>two to twenty thirteen lineage to the current championship. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think anybody gets it about that. I hadn't even
<v Speaker 1>thought about the lineage of that belt. I mean, honestly,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't matter. Bass Bears. I don't feel like I'm
<v Speaker 1>sitting at twelve o'clock. I don't feel like I'm sitting
<v Speaker 1>at twelve o'clock. The hell does that mean? Adam Schroeder
<v Speaker 1>been listening since Money in the bank twenty eleven. You're
<v Speaker 1>amazing at what you do. Thank you, Adam. So are
<v Speaker 1>they going to just have Finn Valor lose again at
<v Speaker 1>elimination Chamber? That is exactly what they're going to do.
<v Speaker 1>But then it won't matter if they just end up
<v Speaker 1>having him bring back the Demon to wrestle Dom. At WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>all will be forgotten because the Demon is back. But yes,
<v Speaker 1>he's going in there at elimination Chamber and he's losing,
<v Speaker 1>and William Valencia. Can we get Gunther retied the Bella Twins?
<v Speaker 1>You know, I like that idea. I think gun I
<v Speaker 1>think the next Hall of Famer that Gunther should retire
<v Speaker 1>is Briebella Maybe maybe maybe she's the next one. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>she's the next one. Super Pony. If you go back
<v Speaker 1>and watch Kevin Stein in ROH and PWG, it's no
<v Speaker 1>wonder his neck gave out on him. It's a miracle
<v Speaker 1>it didn't happen sooner. Yeah, I mean, when you see
<v Speaker 1>some of those matches, there was a ladder war that
<v Speaker 1>he had with this El Generico guy who who retired
<v Speaker 1>many years ago. I don't know what happened to that guy,
<v Speaker 1>but I mean, the the latter war they had was incredible,
<v Speaker 1>but you take a lot of abuse, a lot of
<v Speaker 1>hard bumps in that match. Matt Fisher, the masked man
<v Speaker 1>was clearly JD from New York. I never see JD
<v Speaker 1>move around like that. The beard was also a different
<v Speaker 1>color the beard. If you go back and zoom in,
<v Speaker 1>the beard was more blonde. It wasn't a salt and pepper.
<v Speaker 1>Matt Fisher, thank you, Leopoldo says, yes, solo. When you
<v Speaker 1>asked where Kit Wilson was for like the fifth time yesterday,
<v Speaker 1>you were starting to enter Rikishi. Where's Jay's title match territory?
<v Speaker 1>I remember he wanted he wants the usso's and the
<v Speaker 1>hard Ease and the new day to main event wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Mania this year. Good luck with that, Good luck with that.
<v Speaker 1>I think we're all caught up now with all of
<v Speaker 1>your message, and no we're not. Actually I jumped the
<v Speaker 1>gun here Bass Barris's Buy or Sell, Get Out or Misery.
<v Speaker 1>I enjoyed both films, but I gotta go Misery. Misery
<v Speaker 1>is a classic. I actually watched it again not that
<v Speaker 1>long ago. I watched it last year at some point,
<v Speaker 1>and I hadn't seen it forever and death. Syth says,
<v Speaker 1>hopefully if they do, Cody, Drew, Orton and Fatu or
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Media, what do you think of them doing a
<v Speaker 1>segment where after the contract signing, all four men get
<v Speaker 1>arrested on the Go Home Show, like Becky, Ronda and Charlotte.
<v Speaker 1>So basically just copied the same angle they did what
<v Speaker 1>five or six years ago? They all get arrested for what. No,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to see that. I have no problem
<v Speaker 1>with them having some kind of knockdown, drag out peer
<v Speaker 1>six brawl. That's fine, just like mass chaos. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think they need to get arrested, though. What is Cody
<v Speaker 1>gonna do that's going to get him arrested? Give me
<v Speaker 1>a break. Cody ain't gonna do nothing that's going to
<v Speaker 1>get him arrested. It's going to ruin his future political career.
<v Speaker 1>He can't get arrested. Can't do that. He's got to
<v Speaker 1>have a clean record. Carlos Galvan, Hey, Sola, have you
<v Speaker 1>seen Nurse Jackie just finished it and I think it
<v Speaker 1>was great. I have not. I know Edie Falco is
<v Speaker 1>apparently very good. She might have even won possibly an
<v Speaker 1>award for it. I don't know. I've never seen the
<v Speaker 1>show though. Paul Carpenter, how did you feel about Brett
<v Speaker 1>hart entrance songs in WCW. Hated it. I did not
<v Speaker 1>like his WCW and it never felt like Brett Hart
<v Speaker 1>to me. I can never get into it. And honestly,
<v Speaker 1>same thing with Macho Man, but more so, like I
<v Speaker 1>would say, from when he joined the nWo onward, I
<v Speaker 1>try to like, especially when he got hurt and came
<v Speaker 1>back and he was all roided up. I hate that
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man run. I just tried to pretend that it
<v Speaker 1>never happened. Uh, link Master. I agree with Rikishi regarding
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea Green. Agree with Rikishi on Chelsea Green. Disagree with
<v Speaker 1>Michael Hayes on Chelsea Green Super Pony. Let's get an
<v Speaker 1>lol TNA solo. Well, it was LOL WWE the other
<v Speaker 1>night when they spoiled their own royal Rumble entrant on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how the fuck that happened. Oops, let's
<v Speaker 1>just move bron from number one to number two. Picture Ocatta.
<v Speaker 1>I hit the wrong button somebody in the truck. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how you fuck that up, Leopoldo. Misery is
<v Speaker 1>bre mode on a loop. Well, I mean, except that
<v Speaker 1>I actually enjoy watching Misery. It's kind of actually a
<v Speaker 1>very appropriate thing to say with some of these shows
<v Speaker 1>that I watch week to week. I apparently I enjoy misery,
<v Speaker 1>and you're all with me here because misery loves company.
<v Speaker 1>See now it all makes sense. Are you excited about
<v Speaker 1>Scream Scream seven? When does it come as of February
<v Speaker 1>twenty seventh? Is that when it comes out? I am
<v Speaker 1>actually going to the movies this week. I'm very excited
<v Speaker 1>about this. I am going to see this movie. This
<v Speaker 1>is the new Sam Raimi movie Send Help. But I
<v Speaker 1>am seeing it in four D X, which I have
<v Speaker 1>never seen a movie in four DX before. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>even know what it was. But the time I wanted
<v Speaker 1>to go it was a four DX showing. So apparently
<v Speaker 1>four DX is this immersive experience where your chair moves
<v Speaker 1>and they I don't know if they spray shit at you.
<v Speaker 1>It's I mean, apparently there's a lot involved here because
<v Speaker 1>the ticket was like twelve dollars more than a regular ticket,
<v Speaker 1>so there better be something going on in my seat
<v Speaker 1>as I'm watching this movie for an extra twelve dollars.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm very excited. Now. I've never seen a movie
<v Speaker 1>in four DX before, so I shall report back to
<v Speaker 1>you and let you know how it is. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>apparently your seat moves, and if there's like a lot
<v Speaker 1>of action in the movie, you know, you got these
<v Speaker 1>like sudden movements, and I don't know, we'll see I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. Apparently it might be in three D also,
<v Speaker 1>which I don't really care for that, but I guess
<v Speaker 1>we'll find out. But the movie is getting great reviews,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm looking forward to it. But I forgot that
<v Speaker 1>Scream comes out in a few weeks. And then we
<v Speaker 1>still got the Street Fighter movie, the Mortal Kombat movie,
<v Speaker 1>and the Masters of the Universe movie. So have I
<v Speaker 1>ever seen the twenty twenty one stop motion movie? Mad God?
<v Speaker 1>I never heard of that before. What's it about? You'll
<v Speaker 1>let me know. We got two rounds though, be the
<v Speaker 1>booker to get into here, because you guys killed the goal,
<v Speaker 1>so let's do it, ladies or gentlemen. We hit the
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal too. Time to be the booker. Even hit
<v Speaker 1>the bonus goal. You guys really want be the booker here,
<v Speaker 1>don't you. Roman Cody three in the theaters? Good, keep
<v Speaker 1>it there, Keep it off WrestleMania and keep it in
<v Speaker 1>the Street Fighter movie. We have Daniel Brian and Cain
<v Speaker 1>Team hell No kicking us off here in Be the
<v Speaker 1>Booker former tag team champions. Oh wow, Cain and Daniel
<v Speaker 1>Brian against the mega powers of Hulk Hogan and the
<v Speaker 1>macho Man Randy Savage. Now there's a marquee match. You
<v Speaker 1>imagine Hogan doing a job for a little Brian Danielson.
<v Speaker 1>I always enjoyed it when Hogan would be asked about
<v Speaker 1>the Montreal Screwjob whenever he was doing an interview. This
<v Speaker 1>was years ago, and he was trying to explain to
<v Speaker 1>or maybe he was trying to explain to someone like
<v Speaker 1>a non fan about the Montreal screw job, and he
<v Speaker 1>was like, yeah, it was a little teeny Shawn Michael's pin.
<v Speaker 1>Brett Hart. I'm like, what, nothing, that didn't even happen.
<v Speaker 1>What are you talking about? I will miss the Hogan
<v Speaker 1>Tall tales though, It's the one thing I'll miss, all right,
<v Speaker 1>Women's be the Booker. Good morning? Who said good morning?
<v Speaker 1>Who is that? Yes, good morning to you as well?
<v Speaker 1>Where are you that it's morning? We have Wendy Richter,
<v Speaker 1>second time in a week We've landed on Wendy Richter.
<v Speaker 1>Be the booker really likes Wendy Richter apparently, and Wendy
<v Speaker 1>Richter is going to be taking on Lash Legend, who
<v Speaker 1>had a dominant performance in the Royal Rumble the most eliminations,
<v Speaker 1>including Charlotte Flair, Eo Sky, Jordan Grace, both Bella Twins,
<v Speaker 1>and in our main event, link Master says, did you
<v Speaker 1>see the substance with Demi Moore? It is on my
<v Speaker 1>list of things to watch. I have not yet seen
<v Speaker 1>the substance. We have the Undertaker, but not just any Undertaker,
<v Speaker 1>original gray glove, apparently permed hair Undertaker. When I think
<v Speaker 1>of Undertaker, this is the first image that comes to mind,
<v Speaker 1>This version of the Undertaker against Caine. I love it. Undertaker,
<v Speaker 1>original gray glove Undertaker against original Cain. It don't get
<v Speaker 1>no better than that. Who wins that match between original
<v Speaker 1>Caine and original Undertaker? I'm going Original Caine. There's an
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker in Caine match that we never got. How about that?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I was so wrapped up with the Undertaker
<v Speaker 1>in Caine. I forgot to do the sonic sweep. We
<v Speaker 1>got ourselves another sweep. Let's keep it going we're not
<v Speaker 1>done yet. We got some stipulation. Is not a pick
<v Speaker 1>in round number two beat a booker. All right, we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have ourselves, Oh boy, uh oh, a Yappa Pie
<v Speaker 1>strap match. The strapation is coming. Hogan has the Yappa
<v Speaker 1>Pie strap in his hand, all right, So we can't
<v Speaker 1>start with a tag match, so we'll just start with
<v Speaker 1>the with the men's match, then that's what we'll do.
<v Speaker 1>This is going to be a Yappa Pie strap match, everybody.
<v Speaker 1>And if you're asking me, what is the difference between
<v Speaker 1>a Yappa Pie strap match and any other strap match? Fuck?
<v Speaker 1>If I know, I have no idea Sting is one
<v Speaker 1>half of the Yappa Pie strap match. People like, what
<v Speaker 1>what is this? You people weren't watching Late Stage WCW.
<v Speaker 1>I could tell Sting and Moose this kind of feels wrong.
<v Speaker 1>But in a strap match, Okay, all right, Sting and Moose.
<v Speaker 1>You know what, though, it's a Surfersting no less surfers
<v Speaker 1>Thing and Moose in a strap match, I think could
<v Speaker 1>be a good piece of business. Not the best stipulation though.
<v Speaker 1>All right, So we have Mimosa Mayhem. Mimosa Mayhem. That's
<v Speaker 1>Jericho right now. By the way, is he's in between jobs,
<v Speaker 1>he's enjoying his time off here before he makes his
<v Speaker 1>decision on what he wants to do next, and he's
<v Speaker 1>a laying in a of Mimosa. What is with these stipulations?
<v Speaker 1>We go from the Yappa Pie strap match to fucking
<v Speaker 1>Mimosa Mayhem. This is what in the world is going
<v Speaker 1>on here? Uh? Oh no, I don't want to be
<v Speaker 1>in a Mimosa Mayhem match. Why do I have to
<v Speaker 1>be in a Mimosa Mayhem match? Why did I have
<v Speaker 1>to land on me with the most ridiculous stipulation? Are
<v Speaker 1>you fucking kidding me? It's ridiculous, This is ridiculous. Well
<v Speaker 1>who am I facing? Oh wonderful, that's even better. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>fucking great, that's just wonderful. Me against Alberto del Dipshit
<v Speaker 1>in a Mimosa Mayhem match. Yeah, that's great. That's just
<v Speaker 1>what people wanted to see. That's just great. That's just great.
<v Speaker 1>You know, first you put me in a Punjabi prison
<v Speaker 1>match against the great colleague, and now this thing puts
<v Speaker 1>me in a Mimosa Mayhem match against this guy. Do
<v Speaker 1>you know what he's going to do to me? After
<v Speaker 1>all these years of calling him Alberto del dipshit. He's
<v Speaker 1>going to drown me in the vat of Mimosa. He's
<v Speaker 1>going to hold my head underneath and drown me. And
<v Speaker 1>now we have an iron Man match. Yeah. I think
<v Speaker 1>Be the booker has it out for me. Every time
<v Speaker 1>it lands on me. It's some ridiculous stipulation. Alright, this
<v Speaker 1>is it. This is our main event. We're doing all
<v Speaker 1>men's matches. That's it. I'm done with this. We have
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Rude, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and NXT Champion,
<v Speaker 1>in a sixty minute iron Man match against Kofi Kingston.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we've been doing pretty well with the clean
<v Speaker 1>sweeps and everything, and everything just fell apart here at
<v Speaker 1>the end. Yeah. If you put Kofe and you put
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Root in the ring for like eight minutes, twelve minutes,
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be a solid match. Sixty minutes. No,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, no, thank you? Not interested. I can't believe.
<v Speaker 1>I'm I'm still smarting from this Mimosa Mayhem massacre that
<v Speaker 1>I booked myself into here against Alberto. Yeah. If you
<v Speaker 1>think Bobby Root against Kofee Kingston and an Ironman match
<v Speaker 1>is the main event, then it's a good thing you're
<v Speaker 1>not booking. That's a buzz, that's not a bell. Jeremy Thunderstrikes.
<v Speaker 1>Have you seen Falling Down? Excellent movie? Is that with
<v Speaker 1>Michael Douglas? I forgot his name for a second. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I saw that many years ago. How would you book
<v Speaker 1>the ending to the Mimosa Mayhem match? I wouldn't book
<v Speaker 1>the match at all in the first place, but if
<v Speaker 1>I had to book the ending, I would pay off
<v Speaker 1>Ricardo Rodriguez to do a run in and then he
<v Speaker 1>would hit him in the back of the head with
<v Speaker 1>a tire iron and then he would just fall unconscious
<v Speaker 1>into the bottom of the vat of Mimosa and I
<v Speaker 1>would climb out and I would win. Actually, I don't
<v Speaker 1>even think that's the way the stipulation works. I think
<v Speaker 1>you throw the person into the mimosa. But that's how
<v Speaker 1>I would book it, and then Ricardo Rodriguez would be
<v Speaker 1>my new manager and he would do all my ring
<v Speaker 1>introductions for me. My personal ring announcer A West Coast James.
<v Speaker 1>What's going on celebrating fifty five months of membership? What
<v Speaker 1>kind of wrestler are you? You? In a Punjabi prison
<v Speaker 1>match against Khlie and now this super pony that was
<v Speaker 1>absolutely a bell Bobby was glorious. Yeah, well not with
<v Speaker 1>Kofe Kingston for sixty minutes. He's not. Boy. You people
<v Speaker 1>have you're being awfully nice. You're being awfully nice with
<v Speaker 1>some of these matches. Holy shit, Solo against del Ria
<v Speaker 1>would be an awesome comedic match, comedic for who not
<v Speaker 1>for me? Handling Master with thirty eight months of membership,
<v Speaker 1>excellent stream tonight, thank you, I aim to enter and
<v Speaker 1>we had a solid two thousand plus I think almost
<v Speaker 1>twenty one hundred in here. So big night here for
<v Speaker 1>the raw review. Hopefully we can repeat this on Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>But it's a dynamite, so I mean, I'm under no
<v Speaker 1>illusions about this, but we have a pretty big dynamite.
<v Speaker 1>We have MJF in a it's non title, but MJF
<v Speaker 1>is wrestling Brodie King and Kenny Omega is wrestling on
<v Speaker 1>rode and that actually is a match I'm looking forward to.
<v Speaker 1>So at least we know of two big matches that
<v Speaker 1>are already announced. They're in Vegas. I think they're at
<v Speaker 1>the Palms that is on Wednesday, tomorrow night. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>JD and I will be doing TNT a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble fall out to talk about, and then Friday
<v Speaker 1>night is going to be SmackDown, the first SmackDown coming
<v Speaker 1>out of the Royal Rumble. Liv Morgan has said that
<v Speaker 1>she will be there and perhaps we'll find out some
<v Speaker 1>other things about elimination. Elimination Chamber qualifying matches, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>are starting on Raw next week. That much we know
<v Speaker 1>who will be in them. We don't know. Maybe they'll
<v Speaker 1>say something on Friday, but I'll be here for all
<v Speaker 1>the streams. I hope you will be too. Power Spying games,
<v Speaker 1>says by Sell Rent. You versus Collie, you versus Goldberg
<v Speaker 1>in a scaffold retirement match, and you against Del Rio
<v Speaker 1>in a Yappa pie strap match. Sell Sell Sell, how
<v Speaker 1>about that this is not a by Rent cell, This
<v Speaker 1>is a cell Sell Sell. Goldberg on a scaffold, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, is like a hilarious image to me. He
<v Speaker 1>would go to spear me and I'll just like I'll
<v Speaker 1>do the Samoa Joe Nope spot and I'll just kind
<v Speaker 1>of step to the side and he'll just go plummeting
<v Speaker 1>off the scaffold and then I win. Super Pony says
<v Speaker 1>I live in Vegas, debating if I should go or not.
<v Speaker 1>You should go, You should go. I'm sure it'll be
<v Speaker 1>a lot cheaper than going to a WWE show, but
<v Speaker 1>it's looking like a fun show. If I was in Vegas,
<v Speaker 1>I would go, Oh man, all right, be well, stay safe.
<v Speaker 1>I will see you back here on this stream on
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday night. Even if you're not watching Dynamite, Come hang out.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we'll do be the booker again. Maybe I'll book
<v Speaker 1>myself into a freaking Molotov cocktail match. Maybe that'll be next. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that'll be great, me and Alex Riley in a Molotov
<v Speaker 1>cocktail match. If you know, you know. I'll see you
<v Speaker 1>guys Wednesday for the Dynamite stream. Take care, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>go train for my Mimosa Mayhem match. I'll see you
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday.
