<v Speaker 1>Jeremy Katy and Josh Nick.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so earlier today we were talking in mile
<v Speaker 2>high hype, which is kind of like our little trending
<v Speaker 2>report about this Norwegian athlete.
<v Speaker 3>What was his name, Josh Sterla lay Greed Greed, but
<v Speaker 3>I thought, good old Sterling, what was going on with Sterla?
<v Speaker 3>So essentially he did win the bronze medal for the biathlon,
<v Speaker 3>which is a huge feet in and of itself. But
<v Speaker 3>what made the news every worldwide seriously was the fact
<v Speaker 3>that afterwards he got interviewed by a Norwegian media outlet
<v Speaker 3>and he broke down in tears. Everybody thought it was
<v Speaker 3>because he meddled. No, it was because he made a
<v Speaker 3>confession of having an affair live on TV and then
<v Speaker 3>professed his love to his girlfriend again, essentially being like,
<v Speaker 3>please take me back. He said a very corny thing,
<v Speaker 3>and this is quote, I found the gold medal in
<v Speaker 3>life and now I don't have her.
<v Speaker 2>A poor body, poor buddy. So do you technically call
<v Speaker 2>that an affair or just cheating? If it's a girlfriend.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's cheating. Kay's cheating longtime girlfriend though he cheated,
<v Speaker 2>And during the hype report we were like, oh, poor
<v Speaker 2>body it's all right, Like, you know, you're professing your
<v Speaker 2>love now on the world's Biggest rage. You're doing the
<v Speaker 2>right thing. And then Cassidy, one of our listeners, hopped
<v Speaker 2>on the Mixed one hundred Denver app and she used
<v Speaker 2>that little microphone button to send us a voicemail. Uh huh.
<v Speaker 2>Here's what Cassidy, one of our listeners said about it.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, you guys, we need to talk about this skier
<v Speaker 4>man who cheated on his girlfriend and then professed his
<v Speaker 4>love to her after he won an Olympic medal. Because
<v Speaker 4>y'all were being like, oh, he is so nice that
<v Speaker 4>he used his world platform to apologize to her, but like, no,
<v Speaker 4>he turned his mistake about him. She's the one who
<v Speaker 4>got cheated on. Why is he crying about it on
<v Speaker 4>TV and making himself the victim? Like I don't, this
<v Speaker 4>is craziness. I just listen. Maybe this needs to be
<v Speaker 4>a show. Wants to know because this is wild. Anyway.
<v Speaker 4>I hope y'all have a really great day. I love
<v Speaker 4>your show.
<v Speaker 2>Y'all got to be fired up this morning. She makes
<v Speaker 2>a solid point. He did kind of turn it around
<v Speaker 2>and make it, you know, all about him. I guess
<v Speaker 2>but then again, like he was apologizing.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah right, And that's to me is the fact that
<v Speaker 5>he used that post meddling interview to go up there
<v Speaker 5>and bring his personal life into it. I mean, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>he was kind of acting like the victim, but also
<v Speaker 5>he opened himself up to all kinds of people judging him, right,
<v Speaker 5>because that's what we are doing today. That's where I
<v Speaker 5>feel like he was vulnerable. He wants what's best for
<v Speaker 5>both of them, at least that's how he sounded. Now.
<v Speaker 2>Whether or not she takes him back, that is up
<v Speaker 2>to her.
<v Speaker 5>But I just like sided with him a little bit
<v Speaker 5>in the sense that he really tried. Do you think
<v Speaker 5>it's a sweet it's right, I think it's I think
<v Speaker 5>it's sweet.
<v Speaker 2>I do. I think it's it's awkward.
<v Speaker 5>It's awkward. But also again, like as much as he
<v Speaker 5>made it about him, he opened it up for everyone
<v Speaker 5>to criticize him, and we all feel bad for her today,
<v Speaker 5>that's the thing. And we all feel bad for her.
<v Speaker 2>I guess we don't know what was going on behind
<v Speaker 2>the scenes, you know, like it could have been a
<v Speaker 2>really bad relationship and that's why he strayed a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>So here's what we can Yeah, we can open up
<v Speaker 2>the fall lines three oh three six nine one one
<v Speaker 2>mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 2>I guess the question is is do you feel bad
<v Speaker 2>for this guy or like, did he do the right thing?
<v Speaker 2>Is he a jerk? You know? What's your opinion on this?
<v Speaker 2>Cassidy was pretty adamant, like.
<v Speaker 5>She doesn't like him more because of him doing this, Like.
<v Speaker 2>Whereas I kind of like him more because he's he's
<v Speaker 2>coming clean, right, Yeah, he's confessing his sins.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, on the biggest stage again in front of everyone.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, here's Shannon. Hi, Shannon, good.
<v Speaker 6>Morning, Good morning.
<v Speaker 2>So what do you think about this dude? Was he
<v Speaker 2>right or wrong for doing this?
<v Speaker 1>No, he's trash so he can take his moment to
<v Speaker 1>be woe is Me and then have the entire world
<v Speaker 1>guilt tripping her into taking him back and pressuring her
<v Speaker 1>she shouldn't have to take him back.
<v Speaker 6>He's trash. He cheated, but.
<v Speaker 2>Now he's apologizing. He knows he did wrong. He's bearing
<v Speaker 2>his soul.
<v Speaker 6>To the world the way.
<v Speaker 1>If he truly wanted to apologize, he would have done
<v Speaker 1>it to her immediately after it happened and in private,
<v Speaker 1>not for the entire world to see and get the
<v Speaker 1>entire world to weigh in their opinions.
<v Speaker 6>So then she feels conflicted.
<v Speaker 2>So you don't think it's endearing.
<v Speaker 5>You think it was him trying to add pressure, manipulative, manipulative.
<v Speaker 2>Or he's just incredibly sad and this is like a
<v Speaker 2>therapy session for him and he's just gonna spill.
<v Speaker 6>And then he has enough money being an Olympic star
<v Speaker 6>that he should go get a therapist.
<v Speaker 2>He said, you know what, So you're saying he shouldn't
<v Speaker 2>have done.
<v Speaker 1>If he truly felt bad, he would have apologized as
<v Speaker 1>soon as it happened, not three months later in front
<v Speaker 1>of the entire world. That he doesn't care. He probably
<v Speaker 1>got caught, she probably found out, and so he thought,
<v Speaker 1>before it comes out from her side, I'm gonna take
<v Speaker 1>it into my own hands and apologize.
<v Speaker 6>For the world.
<v Speaker 2>And you know what, on top of it, it's just
<v Speaker 2>a bronze medal. He's not even a gold or silver guy.
<v Speaker 2>What a lame o?
<v Speaker 1>Right week, No, he's no, he's trash, all right, I
<v Speaker 1>put and he's trash.
<v Speaker 6>Shannon.
<v Speaker 2>I love your fighting as you are fired up. This
<v Speaker 2>is why we open up our phone lines Thank you
<v Speaker 2>for calling in.
<v Speaker 6>I had a whole text ready until you open the phone.
<v Speaker 2>Hold me back, hold me back. You can call whenever
<v Speaker 2>you want, Shannon, have a great day.
<v Speaker 6>Have a great day, guys.
<v Speaker 3>All right, bye?
<v Speaker 2>Heileiah Hi?
<v Speaker 1>Hi?
<v Speaker 2>All right? Are you fire too?
<v Speaker 5>Yes?
<v Speaker 6>Oh my days. So this guy he needs to like
<v Speaker 6>he could have apologized one on one and I flow restaurant,
<v Speaker 6>But no, you have to do it on live television.
<v Speaker 2>Watch your language. I'm afraid something's gonna slip out here.
<v Speaker 5>Really are excited?
<v Speaker 1>Eleven?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was an eleven year old. You're so passionate.
<v Speaker 6>I get her gold medal.
<v Speaker 3>Come on, if you're gonna do it on live television,
<v Speaker 3>at least get cold exact.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm saying, right, that's how you really woo
<v Speaker 2>him back.
<v Speaker 4>Make that problem.
<v Speaker 1>We're so sorry that you slept with another woman.
<v Speaker 2>Sir, he does get the golden sleeping around? Am I right?
<v Speaker 2>Or am I right?
<v Speaker 1>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>You ladies are funny. Thank you for calling in, Have
<v Speaker 2>a good day.
<v Speaker 6>Welcome, bye, bye, bye bye.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to take any more calls because I
<v Speaker 2>am worried that these ladies are going to start cutting.
<v Speaker 5>So you have to give them a chance to sound off.
<v Speaker 5>You open the phone lines, you got to give them.
<v Speaker 2>I also have to protect the licensed radio stations. Thank
<v Speaker 2>you for your calls and comments. Appreciate you guys,
