<v Speaker 1>Jarity, Katie and Josh six one hundred coming off a
<v Speaker 1>fun weekend including the mixed one hundred Diamond dive.
<v Speaker 2>That was this past Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>What a massive turnout at this event David Buster's Westminster.
<v Speaker 1>So many people there, I mean there had to be
<v Speaker 1>a couple hundred people there right and easily so many
<v Speaker 1>people smiling and having a good time.
<v Speaker 2>Including this lovely lady, Sweet Cheryl. Good morning, Cheryl, Good morning.
<v Speaker 1>I noticed talking to you guys, well we're good, but
<v Speaker 1>I did notice talking to you off the air that
<v Speaker 1>you've completely lost your voice.
<v Speaker 3>I have, I think I just I'm trying to talk
<v Speaker 3>now so you can hear me. But I just had
<v Speaker 3>so much fun screaming, laughing, talking. It was the most amazing,
<v Speaker 3>magical weekend ever.
<v Speaker 1>Can I just can I just tell you right now
<v Speaker 1>you are truly one of the best winners I have
<v Speaker 1>ever seen for any.
<v Speaker 2>Contest at this at this radio station. You were fans.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you so so much, you guys. That's that just
<v Speaker 3>makes my heart not so much. Thank you.
<v Speaker 4>No, you don't even know, like your energy put mine
<v Speaker 4>to shame, and that's saying something like Cheryl, you brought it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Yeah, we got to meet Cheryl beforehand, and we
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed talking to you because of the shirt that you
<v Speaker 1>had on.
<v Speaker 2>What did the shirt say?
<v Speaker 3>So? My shirt said looking for a diamond ring. My
<v Speaker 3>ex husband has my old one. It was just funny.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, the only reason he has it is because
<v Speaker 3>I probably lose it. We're going to save it for
<v Speaker 3>our daughter. But I just thought it was a funny start,
<v Speaker 3>a conversation starter, just something to you know, just connect
<v Speaker 3>with the people there, and it's just fun to make
<v Speaker 3>So it was. It was fast.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you had us laughing, you did.
<v Speaker 4>And I wanted to say too that I heard from
<v Speaker 4>everybody there like all the participants were so over the
<v Speaker 4>moon that you won, like.
<v Speaker 3>That was the thing.
<v Speaker 4>They were like, you didn't go to a more deserving person.
<v Speaker 3>Share it was so sweet.
<v Speaker 4>They talked about how you made friends with everybody, like
<v Speaker 4>all your competitors, you all are besties.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 4>I I love that you really brought such a great
<v Speaker 4>attitude and just again your energy was so.
<v Speaker 3>Fun to seek you. Oh yeah, that was I mean,
<v Speaker 3>winning the ring was obviously the best thing ever in
<v Speaker 3>my entire life. But I think just meeting people because
<v Speaker 3>I came by myself, my kids, were skiing with their dad.
<v Speaker 3>And I think just meeting you know, all of you
<v Speaker 3>guys and Nick and Mad and the game investors ladies
<v Speaker 3>that put it on, and Just and the other contestants,
<v Speaker 3>and was just so fun and meeting people that I've
<v Speaker 3>heard on the radio call in. I was like, wait
<v Speaker 3>a minute, I've heard you before. It was just so
<v Speaker 3>fun and just making it even better.
<v Speaker 1>Nick and Matt, who you just mentioned are the owners
<v Speaker 1>of Rocky Mountain Custom Jewelry who provided the beautiful ring.
<v Speaker 2>Great guys, right, like, really good guys.
<v Speaker 1>Please go support their business if you're out there listening.
<v Speaker 2>You guys.
<v Speaker 1>So I got it.
<v Speaker 2>I got it.
<v Speaker 1>Ask you, Cheryl, like, what was that moment like? Because
<v Speaker 1>that cake is the size of the floor. There's forty
<v Speaker 1>ladies diving into this thing. Like, what was that moment
<v Speaker 1>like in your head when you squished that piece of
<v Speaker 1>cake and you felt something hard in it?
<v Speaker 3>I mean, honestly, I think I blocked out a little bit.
<v Speaker 3>But I just I just have the strategy of just
<v Speaker 3>putting as much cake under my body as I could
<v Speaker 3>and laying on it and then just I'm slowly kind
<v Speaker 3>of pulling pieces out under me and I just kept
<v Speaker 3>feeling those little tiny sprinkleballs, which were very tricky but
<v Speaker 3>very fun. But when I extouted, I just I don't know,
<v Speaker 3>I just screamed and it was just it was it
<v Speaker 3>was amazing. I can't really remember think goodness.
<v Speaker 1>Oh well, luckily there's video. We posted video on all
<v Speaker 1>of our socials. And when you got it and yes,
<v Speaker 1>you just like lean backwards and you were like yeah, yes.
<v Speaker 3>And everybody congratulating me and just like yeah, it was
<v Speaker 3>so fun and just great too. It was just the
<v Speaker 3>most amazing weekend. Thank you so so much for everyone.
<v Speaker 1>Well again, you're the sweetest, You're the best, and really quick,
<v Speaker 1>I got one final thing, like you just you just
<v Speaker 1>mentioned strategy, and I think Katie had mentioned something about
<v Speaker 1>you're a school teacher, right.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's kindergarten.
<v Speaker 2>Kindergarten.
<v Speaker 1>And wasn't there like a backstory where the kids were
<v Speaker 1>helping you with a strategy or something.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. So, I first of all, because I won so early,
<v Speaker 3>telling five year old something two weeks in advance was
<v Speaker 3>just a huge mistake. I think I was asked thirty
<v Speaker 3>thousand times if I dove into the cake. They just
<v Speaker 3>had no concept of time, but they just kept saying
<v Speaker 3>just eat your way through the cake and just if
<v Speaker 3>you feel something, and they had to split it out,
<v Speaker 3>and they also said, make sure you say good game
<v Speaker 3>to everyone else.
<v Speaker 2>A good game, good game, good game story.
<v Speaker 3>So I didn't quite go with a whole putting everything
<v Speaker 3>in my mouth and eating strategy, but but they were
<v Speaker 3>so excited, and I can't wait for them to come
<v Speaker 3>in tomorrow and and see the ring and not touch it,
<v Speaker 3>but just be excited and have that story to tell,
<v Speaker 3>like down the road about their kindergarten teacher not only
<v Speaker 3>teaching them how to read, but like she dove into
<v Speaker 3>a cage, you can do the hard things and just
<v Speaker 3>amazing South. I'm excited for them to see it and
<v Speaker 3>all the parents do.
<v Speaker 2>You are such a teacher.
<v Speaker 4>You made it into a lesson.
<v Speaker 2>You could see.
<v Speaker 1>You said you're gonna you're gonna hold the ring back
<v Speaker 1>for your daughter then, or you're gonna hold onto it.
<v Speaker 3>My daughter has my wedding ring, and so we save
<v Speaker 3>that for her, and so we'll see. Maybe I'll, you know,
<v Speaker 3>save this one and give it to my niece, or
<v Speaker 3>you know, definitely do something, keep it in the family
<v Speaker 3>and just have it to remind me on a hard
<v Speaker 3>day that I'm awesome. And if I need my kids
<v Speaker 3>to see how cool I am, just show them that
<v Speaker 3>ring every time.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, you are awesome, So make sure you enjoy that
<v Speaker 4>ring for a little while. Cheryl, you hang on to
<v Speaker 4>it for.
<v Speaker 2>I think, I think I week for all of us
<v Speaker 2>here at Mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, thank you so much for listening to this radio station,
<v Speaker 1>for getting in, qualifying, coming to the event, and kicking
<v Speaker 1>some major ass.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you, thank you. It was so so much fun
<v Speaker 3>and I really appreciate everything.
<v Speaker 1>Well, we can't thank you enough, and I want you
<v Speaker 1>to go have some hot tea out.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, go rest your voice and go admire that ring.
<v Speaker 1>Cheryl, thank you so much, you as well, Bye bye bye.
<v Speaker 1>That is what it's all about, right there, making people
<v Speaker 1>happy here at Denver's Mix one hundred. And I would
<v Speaker 1>imagine Diamond Dive three point zero is going to be
<v Speaker 1>happening next year, so stick around for all the deats.
