<v Speaker 1>AW is coming off Grand Slam Australia. This past weekend.

<v Speaker 1>We had a bunch of big matches on Saturday, no

<v Speaker 1>title changes. We actually two title changes last week on Dynamite,

<v Speaker 1>But tonight we had a first time ever made event,

<v Speaker 1>big big main event. Tonight, Kenny Omega one on one

<v Speaker 1>would Swerve Strickland. Nothing on the line, although you have

<v Speaker 1>two men who have staked their claim to wanting to

<v Speaker 1>be the AW World Champion, and this right here is

<v Speaker 1>what is carrying these shows story wise. Right now, it

<v Speaker 1>is the world title scene in AW because all of

<v Speaker 1>these different challengers have been lined up for MJF and

<v Speaker 1>you could see other ones also kind of oft in

<v Speaker 1>the distance, will Ospray and people like the Darby Allen. Eventually,

<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they'll circle back to him. But Kenny and

<v Speaker 1>Swerve have been very very clear in their intentions that

<v Speaker 1>they want to be the champion again. So tonight they

<v Speaker 1>went one on one and what we got here in

<v Speaker 1>this match is actually something that I was not expecting,

<v Speaker 1>but it is something that I am very happy that

<v Speaker 1>we got because Swerve is the best Swerve and that

<v Speaker 1>is what we had at the end of Dynamite tonight.

<v Speaker 1>Whether or not it ends up being a full on

<v Speaker 1>heel turn or not, I guess we'll have to wait

<v Speaker 1>and see, but it sure felt like it because everybody

<v Speaker 1>loves Kenny Omega and those fans were boo in the

<v Speaker 1>hell at a Swerve Strickland when this show was over.

<v Speaker 1>These two guys went out there one week after Tamaso

<v Speaker 1>Champa and Kyle Fletcher had the best television match of

<v Speaker 1>the year, and they said, hold my beer, and they

<v Speaker 1>went out and they topped it, and they had so

<v Speaker 1>far the best television match of the year, an excellent

<v Speaker 1>main event with a major angle to close the show.

<v Speaker 1>So not just a great match, right, We've got plenty

<v Speaker 1>of great matches on Dynamite any given week, but we

<v Speaker 1>actually had a major angle here to close out the

<v Speaker 1>show with Swerve Strickland doing whatever it takes to beat

<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega. We got a decisive winner in this match.

<v Speaker 1>It wasn't sure how they were going to handle this.

<v Speaker 1>We've heard rumors about Kenny Omega potentially not being available

<v Speaker 1>for Revolution this year. He's going to be over in Japan.

<v Speaker 1>We don't know if they're going to try to work

<v Speaker 1>it out where maybe he can be back in time

<v Speaker 1>for Revolution. He may not be. In fact, it looks

<v Speaker 1>like he probably won't be based on what they did

<v Speaker 1>tonight because they wrote him off the show. But this

<v Speaker 1>was a match that had world title implications because you

<v Speaker 1>would think whoever came out of this match would very

<v Speaker 1>likely be the number one contender after Hangman gets his

<v Speaker 1>shot at Revolution, although they never actually said that. But

<v Speaker 1>Swerve beats Kenny Omega and then he lays a beating

<v Speaker 1>on this man and actually puts him through the announced

<v Speaker 1>desk with a vertebreaker. He killed Kenny at the end

<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite tonight, and so we have He'll Swerve back

<v Speaker 1>and as I look ahead now at where we're going

<v Speaker 1>with this, because we also tonight on the show had

<v Speaker 1>a face off between champion and challenger MJF and Hangman

<v Speaker 1>page face to face in the ring, laying it down

<v Speaker 1>as far as Revolution is concerned, teasing a special stipy

<v Speaker 1>for the match that will likely end up being Texas

<v Speaker 1>Death because it's Hangman. But a stipulation was also added

<v Speaker 1>to the match which we have not seen here in

<v Speaker 1>aw in a very long time, and it is a

<v Speaker 1>stipulation that was utilized by one Cody Rhoads many years

<v Speaker 1>ago in the infancy of AAW and it did not

<v Speaker 1>work out very well for Cody Roads, and Cody Roads

<v Speaker 1>was rendered unable to ever challenge for the AW World

<v Speaker 1>title ever again, something that Cody himself, I believe, has

<v Speaker 1>said was a mistake because it boxed them into a

<v Speaker 1>corner with one of their biggest stars right in the

<v Speaker 1>infancy of the company, Like why would you do that?

<v Speaker 1>And of course it's pro wrestling, so you could always

<v Speaker 1>just go back on your word or figure out a

<v Speaker 1>way around it if you really want to. But they

<v Speaker 1>went back to that well tonight with Hangman Page, who said, look,

<v Speaker 1>I'm willing to put it all on the line against you,

<v Speaker 1>so if I can't beat you, then I can never

<v Speaker 1>again challenge for the AW World Championship. He didn't say,

<v Speaker 1>so long as you're the champion, he said, ever again.

<v Speaker 1>And I don't know why they would do this again

<v Speaker 1>to themselves. I don't know why they would box themselves

<v Speaker 1>into a corner. Of course, the biggest difference now is that,

<v Speaker 1>unlike when Cody Rhoads was there in twenty nineteen, they

<v Speaker 1>have a hell of a lot more belts on this roster,

<v Speaker 1>so It's not like Hangman. He's got no shortage of

<v Speaker 1>championships that he could challenge for if he can't go

<v Speaker 1>after the world title. So that was also unexpected, not

<v Speaker 1>something I really am a big fan of. Unlike that

<v Speaker 1>main event tonight, which I was a huge fan of.

<v Speaker 1>We also had a TBS title fatal four way match,

<v Speaker 1>which I enjoyed. I thought it was actually a very

<v Speaker 1>fun match. Willow Nightingale still the TBS champion, although you know,

<v Speaker 1>watching the magic did feel to me like they were

<v Speaker 1>potentially setting up Megan Bain for a singles opportunity, which

<v Speaker 1>I'm still holding out hope is the case. But there

<v Speaker 1>were also some faces missing on this show. You know,

<v Speaker 1>we had Lena CROs the Australian independent star making her

<v Speaker 1>debut official debut at Grand Slam this weekend, actually coming

<v Speaker 1>to the aid of Megan Bain and Penelope Ford. She

<v Speaker 1>was nowhere to be founding to think she was mentioned,

<v Speaker 1>she was nowhere to be found on the show tonight.

<v Speaker 1>I mentioned Tomaso Champa, right, who was TNT champion last

<v Speaker 1>week at that great match lost not even mentioned on

<v Speaker 1>the show this week, nowhere to be found. So I

<v Speaker 1>don't know if that means he's going to be relegated

<v Speaker 1>to Collision from here on out or not. I was

<v Speaker 1>hoping we would see some sort of follow up with

<v Speaker 1>him on the show tonight, and unfortunately we did not

<v Speaker 1>have that. But we also know who John Moxley is

<v Speaker 1>putting his Continental title on the line against that Revolution,

<v Speaker 1>and if you saw Grand Slam this past weekend, it

<v Speaker 1>really shouldn't be all that big of a surprise. It

<v Speaker 1>will beat Kenoski Takeshta, only this time there will be

<v Speaker 1>no time limit for their match. And after mentioning that

<v Speaker 1>they've done little if anything since World's End to really

<v Speaker 1>further the story between Takeshta and Okada, we did have

<v Speaker 1>a little something tonight. Takesha was not on the show tonight.

<v Speaker 1>Okada was very briefly like blinking, you missed it, but

<v Speaker 1>you can kind of see where things are headed. It's

<v Speaker 1>just not going to happen at Revolution with Takeshta and Okada,

<v Speaker 1>and I have a feeling we're gonna have to wait

<v Speaker 1>quite some time to see that rematch between those two.

<v Speaker 1>But I enjoyed the show a lot. I felt like

<v Speaker 1>in the second hour. Second hour was a little bit weak.

<v Speaker 1>I mean Obviously the main event was the best part

<v Speaker 1>of the entire show, but there was some stuff in

<v Speaker 1>the second hour that kind of slowed it down a

<v Speaker 1>little bit. They're trying to feature as many people as

<v Speaker 1>they can. Again, there's so many people on this roster.

<v Speaker 1>There's no way that you're going to be able to

<v Speaker 1>feature all the people that you would like for them too,

<v Speaker 1>or everybody frankly that they need to and should be featuring,

<v Speaker 1>like Champa coming off that big loss last week. But

<v Speaker 1>we had like the debut of the Brawling Birds tonight,

<v Speaker 1>which is the new team of Jamie Hayter and Alex

<v Speaker 1>Windsor because they're trying to you know, increase the level

<v Speaker 1>of competition in the women's tag team division. Kevin Knight,

<v Speaker 1>all right, look at someone like the Jet Kevin Knight,

<v Speaker 1>young star, super talented, somebody that has been rubbing shoulders

<v Speaker 1>with some of the bigger names in recent weeks. Right,

<v Speaker 1>he wrestled Swerve even for example, not that long ago,

<v Speaker 1>and he had a great showing in the Continental Classic.

<v Speaker 1>You know, the key with really trying to build up

<v Speaker 1>somebody like that is getting him airtime on the main show. Right.

<v Speaker 1>Collision is one thing Dynamite is their a show. Dynamite

<v Speaker 1>is the most viewed show, and so you want to

<v Speaker 1>try to get him as much screen time on that

<v Speaker 1>show as possible. So they threw a match out there

<v Speaker 1>tonight between him and the Beast Mortos. Right, it's one

<v Speaker 1>of those random matches. But you know, you look at

<v Speaker 1>that it's important to get people like him on TV

<v Speaker 1>as much as possible. But it's just it's a struggle

<v Speaker 1>because again, there's only so much airtime here on this

<v Speaker 1>shown by no means of my sitting here advocating for

<v Speaker 1>you know, Dynamite to go three hours. But you just

<v Speaker 1>have to do a good job of rotating people in

<v Speaker 1>and out and not keeping them off the show for

<v Speaker 1>too long. So, you know, we saw some some different

<v Speaker 1>faces on the show tonight. I thought that the it

<v Speaker 1>was a smaller venue. It kind of reminded me. I

<v Speaker 1>think somebody said this in the chat. It kind of

<v Speaker 1>had a like a Hammerstein vibe to me. I think

<v Speaker 1>they were in Sacramento tonight, so it was a small venue.

<v Speaker 1>But when like John Moxley came into the beginning of

<v Speaker 1>the show and he walks in through the back of

<v Speaker 1>the crowd, it looked pretty packed in there, so I

<v Speaker 1>just thought, as smaller venues go visually on TV, I

<v Speaker 1>thought it looked good. But when the show was over

<v Speaker 1>the main event, the women's four way match, I thought,

<v Speaker 1>you know, the segment with MJF and Hangman, you know,

<v Speaker 1>was solid for what it needed to be. As far

<v Speaker 1>as their main event of Revolution, I enjoyed the show.

<v Speaker 1>It feels like Dynamite over the last few weeks especially,

<v Speaker 1>has gotten into a rhythm here that I felt like

<v Speaker 1>I wasn't feeling before that. But the last few weeks

<v Speaker 1>things have definitely been in improvement and it helps over

<v Speaker 1>the last two weeks to have the two best TV

<v Speaker 1>matches of the year. And we will talk about that

<v Speaker 1>main event. We will talk about everything on this show,

<v Speaker 1>in California for Revolution. So I wonder if we'll be

<v Speaker 1>seeing him more often on TV. And we had comments backstage,

<v Speaker 1>rapid fire comments from various competitors here on the show tonight,

<v Speaker 1>including Mina Shirakawa. I'll give you one guess what happened

<v Speaker 1>to poor Mina here on this show? What do you

<v Speaker 1>think happened to Mina? What do you think Mina's one

<v Speaker 1>job was? Key were job here on the show? It

<v Speaker 1>was always good to see Mina. She was one of

<v Speaker 1>the four participants in the TBS title fatal four way.

<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale talked about not having to be pinned to

<v Speaker 1>lose her championship tonight, but she realizes that comes with

<v Speaker 1>the territory. And of course we cut the swerve of

<v Speaker 1>Strickland and Kenny Omega for some comments on their main event.

<v Speaker 1>So after that we went to Renee who was in

<v Speaker 1>the back with Orange Cassidy. This was from earlier today,

<v Speaker 1>and she asked about Roderick Stromp walking out on him

<v Speaker 1>in their tag team match last week. He said, thankfully,

<v Speaker 1>the Conglomeration has a lot of members. Oh yes, but

<v Speaker 1>not as many as the don Kallis family. But the

<v Speaker 1>Conglomeration has a lot of members, and so tonight he's

<v Speaker 1>going to be teamy with this man and in walks Tomohiro,

<v Speaker 1>is she okay? They dust him off every now and

<v Speaker 1>then he pops up on Dynamite, so he was going

<v Speaker 1>to be tagging with him against Gabe Kid and Clark Conners.

<v Speaker 1>That's later. First up, though, he had John Moxley against

<v Speaker 1>Mark Davis Continental Title eliminator match. Moxley's been having these

<v Speaker 1>weekly on TV. I have to say, I am glad

<v Speaker 1>that they are using Mark Davis on television, even though

<v Speaker 1>his tag team partner got hurt and it would be

<v Speaker 1>very easy for them to just kind of relegate him

<v Speaker 1>to the back burner right now. I he never wins, Okay,

<v Speaker 1>he never wins, but he's a fun brawler and I've

<v Speaker 1>actually taken to enjoying his matches even though he never wins.

<v Speaker 1>So when I saw that it was Davison and Moxley,

<v Speaker 1>I mean, obviously I already knew how this was going

<v Speaker 1>to go, but I said, okay, this could be This

<v Speaker 1>could be an interesting clash year between these two. So

<v Speaker 1>Moxley escaped to the floor early. David still followed and

<v Speaker 1>he lined him up right against the post. He was

<v Speaker 1>gonna give him a punch, and Moxley ducked, and Davis

<v Speaker 1>full on punches the post and the sound that this

<v Speaker 1>made and immediately you know, he grabs his hand. Davis,

<v Speaker 1>he busted his hand open. On that shot, you can

<v Speaker 1>see the blood comingly in between his fingers. So of

<v Speaker 1>course for Boxley it's like, you know, chum in the

<v Speaker 1>water here. Oh fuck, I see blood and it's not mine. Wow,

<v Speaker 1>I got some catching up to do. So of course

<v Speaker 1>he goes right over to the hand and he starts,

<v Speaker 1>you know, he's separating the fingers and he's biting the

<v Speaker 1>bloody fingers because he's a sick fuck. Then he placed

<v Speaker 1>the hand on the steel steps that he stomped on it.

<v Speaker 1>They had a close up at one point of Davis's

<v Speaker 1>hand and his finger just looked all gnarly to me.

<v Speaker 1>So it's entirely possible that he really did break his

<v Speaker 1>hand or some fingers on his hand, which is the

<v Speaker 1>last thing that he needs is another injury. He's already

<v Speaker 1>had a couple in the past. So they went to

<v Speaker 1>a break. When they came back, Moxley was sitting in

<v Speaker 1>a chair outside in the corner near the barricade. Davis

<v Speaker 1>charged in at him and mostly whiffed on what would

<v Speaker 1>have been a hip attack. So he's going back. Moxley

<v Speaker 1>is after the bloody fingers and the bloody knuckles. They

<v Speaker 1>get back in the ring, he hits them with a superplex.

<v Speaker 1>Davis came back. He attempted to larry it and Moxley

<v Speaker 1>ducked it and hit a cutter. Tried for a sleeper

<v Speaker 1>that didn't work out too well. A little bit later on,

<v Speaker 1>Davis sea turned a gut wrench into a pile driver

<v Speaker 1>for a near fall. So now they're trading shots. Moxley

<v Speaker 1>was able to take him down. He got the bulldog

<v Speaker 1>choke applied, and not long after that he got the

<v Speaker 1>tap out. Surprise, surprise, John Moxley beats Mark Davis. I

<v Speaker 1>mean you could have predicted that ten times out of

<v Speaker 1>ten that result will be the same. So we know

<v Speaker 1>that the Callous Family and the death Rids have been

<v Speaker 1>squabbling now for many, many weeks. This was an extension

<v Speaker 1>of that because Mark Davis is a member of the

<v Speaker 1>don Kallis family. But if you saw Grand Slam on Saturday,

<v Speaker 1>it was Moxley and Takesha. They went to a twenty

<v Speaker 1>minute draw, so there was no winner in their Continental

<v Speaker 1>title match. And if you joined me in the review,

<v Speaker 1>I said, well, this whole time, I was just assuming

<v Speaker 1>because they've made us wait this long that the match

<v Speaker 1>for Revolution would be Okada and Takeshta. Revolution is typically

<v Speaker 1>one of their top three biggest shows of the year.

<v Speaker 1>A few years ago, it was probably their top show

<v Speaker 1>of the year if you want to count the Sting retirement.

<v Speaker 1>So it's a big show. It's the perfect time to

<v Speaker 1>run this back right a few months after the Continental Classic,

<v Speaker 1>and they've done nothing since the Continental Classic to further

<v Speaker 1>things along with Takeshta and Okada. They've done nothing, which

<v Speaker 1>was very strange. And then I saw what they did

<v Speaker 1>on Saturday and I said, Okay, we're obviously going to

<v Speaker 1>get a rematch, and it feels to me like that

<v Speaker 1>is what the rematch is going to be, which makes

<v Speaker 1>me think that he takes the Continental title from Moxley,

<v Speaker 1>which I would like to see. And now he's got

<v Speaker 1>a belt. Ohcott has got a belt. He was making

<v Speaker 1>fun of him tonight. Oh he's not here and I

<v Speaker 1>have a belt and he doesn't. So they're both gonna

<v Speaker 1>have belts and eventually have a unification match. But then

<v Speaker 1>when does that unification match happen? And I could see

<v Speaker 1>Tony wanting to hold off on that until they get

<v Speaker 1>to Wembley but that's in August. We are in February.

<v Speaker 1>That's a long gap. I would rather not wait that

<v Speaker 1>long to get this match. But it kind of feels

<v Speaker 1>to me like he may look at that as one

<v Speaker 1>of the marquee matches on that car and it would be.

<v Speaker 1>It would be one of the marquee matches on that show.

<v Speaker 1>But man, is that's a long time to wait. You

<v Speaker 1>could have Takeshta defend against a few different challengers to

<v Speaker 1>kill time between now and then, but that is a

<v Speaker 1>long gap there. We have to wait to get that match.

<v Speaker 1>Later in the show, John Moxley, he was backstage with

<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders and he said that I'm not done

<v Speaker 1>with Takeshta. He said, Revolution, Hollywood, no time limits one

<v Speaker 1>way or the other. There must be a winner as

<v Speaker 1>long as it takes. And then it was made official.

<v Speaker 1>We got the graphic and everything. That match will happen.

<v Speaker 1>No time limit for the title of Revolution. Now, after this,

<v Speaker 1>we had FTR wheeling Stokely Hathaway still in the wheelchair

<v Speaker 1>out to the ring. An ex Caliber is talking about, Oh,

<v Speaker 1>this is not on the format, this is not on

<v Speaker 1>the format. I don't know what's going on here. Dax

<v Speaker 1>Harwood was barely able to speak before a chance of

<v Speaker 1>shut the fuck up rained down upon him. They brought

<v Speaker 1>up how the Young Bucks called themselves the best team

<v Speaker 1>in the world ten years ago, but cut to today

<v Speaker 1>and they're sitting comfortably in second place. Said that truth

<v Speaker 1>be told, it pisses him off that last week on Dynamite,

<v Speaker 1>the Young Bucks shook hands with the Rascals. They shook

<v Speaker 1>hands with Private Party, which is interesting because the Bucks

<v Speaker 1>tried to run Private Party out of the company about

<v Speaker 1>a year and a half ago, but now all of

<v Speaker 1>a sudden, they're good. Said that fakeness is what he

<v Speaker 1>hates about aw that fakeness is what he hates about

<v Speaker 1>pro wrestling. It's true, pro wrestling is fake. No lives detected.

<v Speaker 1>So at the top of ftr's hate list is Matt

<v Speaker 1>and Nick Jackson. Right underneath them are their parents, followed

<v Speaker 1>by their delinquent kids running around backstage. So as he's speaking,

<v Speaker 1>the Bucks slip into the ring behind him, take out FTR.

<v Speaker 1>Now they're beating up FTR. I think they superkicked him,

<v Speaker 1>and like the ring is bouncing around. Stoke Lea's in

<v Speaker 1>the chair with his back turned as if he is

<v Speaker 1>completely oblivious to this, and then he kind of realized

<v Speaker 1>this is something's going on behind me, so he turns

<v Speaker 1>around and he starts backtracking, and the crowd, of course

<v Speaker 1>wants the superkicks, so he gets knocked out of his

<v Speaker 1>chair with the pair of kicks and the Bucks hold

<v Speaker 1>up the tag belts. They officially issued the challenge to

<v Speaker 1>FTR for a title match of Revolution, which of course

<v Speaker 1>is going to be in LA It's basically in their backyard,

<v Speaker 1>and we were told later that Tony kh has made

<v Speaker 1>this official now for the pay per view. I wish

<v Speaker 1>we were n't back to this again. Not that the

<v Speaker 1>Bucks in FTR do not have good wrestling matches. They do.

<v Speaker 1>We've seen it many times. I mean, look, there was

<v Speaker 1>a point years ago where I said the same thing

<v Speaker 1>about the Ussos and the New Day, and more often

<v Speaker 1>than not the Usos in the New Day they would

<v Speaker 1>go out there and have really good matches. But you

<v Speaker 1>just get to a point where it's like, all right,

<v Speaker 1>I'd like to move beyond this. Now. I will tell

<v Speaker 1>you that this will be the first time since Dynasty

<v Speaker 1>in twenty twenty four, almost a full two years ago,

<v Speaker 1>that these two teams are squaring off two on two.

<v Speaker 1>loss to MJF. He came this close to winning the

<v Speaker 1>AW World Championship. He fell short, and so he was

<v Speaker 1>not very happy about it. But he talked about how

<v Speaker 1>he was so close he could taste it. But he's

<v Speaker 1>not going to sit around feeling sorry for himself. He says,

<v Speaker 1>bring the biggest and bring the baddest. February twenty fifth,

<v Speaker 1>he's coming back. That's next week on Dynamite, and he's

<v Speaker 1>getting back into the world title hunt and he's looking

<v Speaker 1>for a fight. And this ties in with what I

<v Speaker 1>world title scene right now in AAW where even people

<v Speaker 1>a shot last month Now Brody had his shot. He lost,

<v Speaker 1>set up an opponent for him at the end of

<v Speaker 1>Dynamite Tonight. If Kenny Omega's not back in time to

<v Speaker 1>be at Revolution, we could be looking at a swerve

<v Speaker 1>strict Lombardi King match on that show now that I

<v Speaker 1>think about it. But we had a four way after

<v Speaker 1>this for the TBS Championship, Willow Nightingale defending against Meghan Bain,

<v Speaker 1>Mina Sheikawa, and Marina Shafir. Now Meghan Bain and Penelope

<v Speaker 1>Ford were unsuccessful in their bid to win the women's

<v Speaker 1>tag team titles on Saturday, which are held by Willow

<v Speaker 1>and Harley Cameron. So Willow has two titles, as does Hangman.

<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, well, if Hangman wins a Revolution, he would

<v Speaker 1>have two titles, but Willow at the moment has two championships.

<v Speaker 1>So here there was no Harley. She wasn't. I think

<v Speaker 1>she's still in Australia. Marina, though quickly sent Mina to

<v Speaker 1>the outside, turned things into a handicap match. Her and

<v Speaker 1>Megan were targeting Willow, who ended up sending both women

<v Speaker 1>out over the top to the floor. There was a

<v Speaker 1>cannonball that connected off the apron. Mina followed with a

<v Speaker 1>huge crossbody off the top rope onto the pile. Later on,

<v Speaker 1>Bain picked up Mina and she just chucked her out

<v Speaker 1>of the ring onto the floor, onto Marina and Willow.

<v Speaker 1>As they cut to a brake, Bain missed a sentan

<v Speaker 1>on Mina and she squashed Marina. That allowed Mina to

<v Speaker 1>nail Megan with a sling blade. Willow flattened everybody with spinebusters,

<v Speaker 1>and the scraps came down and all four women rose

<v Speaker 1>and they were trading shots. Marina no souled Mina initially,

<v Speaker 1>but then she ate the backfist Bain and Nightingale. They

<v Speaker 1>wiped out Marina and Mina, and then they collided with

<v Speaker 1>each other on a double clothesline spot into a reset.

<v Speaker 1>Willow was up first. She spiked Baine with a DVD.

<v Speaker 1>Marina was there though, with a uranagi. So everyone's outside

<v Speaker 1>now and Bain takes out the pile with a tope

<v Speaker 1>out to the floor. So Bain blocked a cake. She

<v Speaker 1>powerbombed Marina onto there's a table in the timekeeper's area,

<v Speaker 1>and she power bombed her onto the table, which didn't break,

<v Speaker 1>and then Marina just sort of she just sort of

<v Speaker 1>fell over the table and then splatted on the floor

<v Speaker 1>back inside. Bain went up top four. I possibly a

<v Speaker 1>moon salt. I think maybe she was trying for Willow

<v Speaker 1>cut her off, and Willow Nightingale drops Meghan Bain with

<v Speaker 1>an avalanche German suplex that looked absolutely terrifying. I shrieked

<v Speaker 1>when Megan Baine landed on the mat and she was

<v Speaker 1>able to twist and get herself over just enough where

<v Speaker 1>she didn't either land on her head or directly on

<v Speaker 1>her face. It kind of looked like she did land

<v Speaker 1>on her face. Very very scary, and even she had

<v Speaker 1>a look on her face. You go back and watch,

<v Speaker 1>she had this look could like just shock on her face,

<v Speaker 1>like her life just flashed before her fucking eyes. So yes,

<v Speaker 1>that was very scary. Mina flew off the top with

<v Speaker 1>a shotgun dropkick, hit a backfist on Willow, and she

<v Speaker 1>went for the figure four. Willow, though, caught her with

<v Speaker 1>a flash cradle for the pin to retain the title.

<v Speaker 1>You know, I was watching this finish here and I

<v Speaker 1>realized that no one in this company consumes more calories

<v Speaker 1>from all the pins that she eats than Mina Sheikau. Yeah,

<v Speaker 1>there's a song that says all I do is win,

<v Speaker 1>and Mina is the opposite of that. She should come

<v Speaker 1>out to the exact opposite entrance music, because all she

<v Speaker 1>does is lose and take the pin and take the

<v Speaker 1>losing fall. In these it's getting exhausting. She's over people

<v Speaker 1>like her. She's got this bubbly personality, She's very charismatic,

<v Speaker 1>so people like Mina. She just never wins, so this

<v Speaker 1>was no different. I thought it was actually a really

<v Speaker 1>fun match. Otherwise, a few hiccups here and there, but

<v Speaker 1>I had fun with this one. Outside of that one

<v Speaker 1>Avalanche German to Megan Bain, which again was scary as

<v Speaker 1>all hell. I would have given her the win here.

<v Speaker 1>Now I look ahead to Revolution. If we get a

<v Speaker 1>match for the TBS title on that show, maybe we do,

<v Speaker 1>maybe we don't. It felt to me like maybe they

<v Speaker 1>were building her towards that Megan Bain specifically, because I

<v Speaker 1>felt like she was the one who kind of looked

<v Speaker 1>the best coming out of this match, and they protected

<v Speaker 1>her in as much as she didn't take the pin here.

<v Speaker 1>You could do a singles match between them, and if

<v Speaker 1>they do a singles match, then great, they could put

<v Speaker 1>the belt on her there. I just I liked the

<v Speaker 1>idea of her being the one to win the TBS title.

<v Speaker 1>I know Willow hasn't had it for a long time,

<v Speaker 1>but Willow has a tag title. Willow is already a champion.

<v Speaker 1>If Willow were to lose one or the other, if

<v Speaker 1>she was to lose the TBS title, it's not the

<v Speaker 1>end of the world. She's still a champion in this company,

<v Speaker 1>in a division that they are trying to build up.

<v Speaker 1>You know, we didn't see the inspiration on this show,

<v Speaker 1>but they just signed the inspiration right to be in

<v Speaker 1>the tag team division. They put Jamie Hater now in

<v Speaker 1>a tag team. They're trying to build up their women's

<v Speaker 1>tag team division, so it's not like she's got nothing

<v Speaker 1>going on. If she drops the TBS title, didn't happen tonight.

<v Speaker 1>Maybe it could happen a revolution, but I think Megan

<v Speaker 1>Bain would be a good choice for that now at

<v Speaker 1>this point in the show, on La Night wins more

<v Speaker 1>than Mina, does you know what? You might not be

<v Speaker 1>too far off with that, Jay, What would the win

<v Speaker 1>loss record be for a La Night Mina Shirakawa team?

<v Speaker 1>Would they win? Would they win a match? I'm not sure,

<v Speaker 1>probably not. But on commentary they cut to the announcers

<v Speaker 1>or ringside and ex Caliber got all serious and he

<v Speaker 1>mentioned that they just lost a big name in the

<v Speaker 1>wrestling community. Kerwin Silphie's who if you don't know, For

<v Speaker 1>decades he was a director, if not the director in

<v Speaker 1>the truck on the production end for WWE. He started

<v Speaker 1>with the company in nineteen eighty five and worked with

<v Speaker 1>them through the pandemic era, and then he got furloughed,

<v Speaker 1>so he was with them for a very long time,

<v Speaker 1>very very key figure behind the scenes. And obviously many

<v Speaker 1>people who are now working for AW not just talent

<v Speaker 1>on the roster or announcers, but again people on the

<v Speaker 1>production end. Mike Mansteri, for example, who I know works

<v Speaker 1>I believe he's the head of production for AW, likely

<v Speaker 1>would have worked very closely with Kerwin. So there were

<v Speaker 1>a lot of people there who were clearly very emotional.

<v Speaker 1>Tony Shavani spoke because he mentioned that for really the

<v Speaker 1>one full year he spent in WWE, because he would

<v Speaker 1>have come in if it wasn't eighty nine. Maybe he

<v Speaker 1>came in the end of eighty eight, but he specifically

<v Speaker 1>mentioned nineteen eighty nine because by early ninety Tony was gone.

<v Speaker 1>But he got to work with Kerwin and he had

<v Speaker 1>nothing but positive things to say about his experience working

<v Speaker 1>with him. Brian Danielson got all choked up. He was

<v Speaker 1>getting very emotional. He said that he didn't know anything

<v Speaker 1>about TV production before working with Kerwin in WWE, and

<v Speaker 1>so he extended his condolences to his family. I thought

<v Speaker 1>this was a very classy tribute to someone who many

<v Speaker 1>viewers would have no idea who they are. You know

<v Speaker 1>he was behind the camera. He was behind the scenes,

<v Speaker 1>he was not in front of the camera, and I

<v Speaker 1>think in his case, that's the way he wanted it.

<v Speaker 1>You didn't really get to see him very often. If

<v Speaker 1>you watch that Peacock documentary The Making of Wrestle Minnie

<v Speaker 1>and Nine, I think he's fairly prominently featured in that one.

<v Speaker 1>So this wasn't something that they had to do, but

<v Speaker 1>they did. I'm glad they did. It was a very

<v Speaker 1>classy thing for them to do. Now, at the top

<v Speaker 1>of the hour, we had Hangman Adam Page out to

<v Speaker 1>the ring, followed by the AEW World champion MJF, fresh

<v Speaker 1>off his win this weekend over Brody King, and there

<v Speaker 1>was a promise of no physicality between the two of them.

<v Speaker 1>They will meet it Revolution for the world title. MJF

<v Speaker 1>went first and he said that this is no infomercial

<v Speaker 1>for Revolution. This is just a fact. He hates Hangman's guts,

<v Speaker 1>He hates everything about him, and he hates all of

<v Speaker 1>these dumb white trash hicks. Do they have hicks in Sacramento?

<v Speaker 1>All these dumb white trash hicks, he said, for thinking

<v Speaker 1>that Hangman is on mjf's level and having the gall

<v Speaker 1>to call Hangman the main character when the main character

<v Speaker 1>of aaw very clearly is him, and the fact that

<v Speaker 1>Hangman holds two wins over him makes him want a puke.

<v Speaker 1>He said, Hangman's not better than him, He's just a

<v Speaker 1>lucky shot. But he can smell it on him, he

<v Speaker 1>can see it in his eyes. There's something off about him,

<v Speaker 1>maybe because his two boyfriends, Kenny and Swerve, are fighting,

<v Speaker 1>but he's also all out of bullets. But on March fifteenth,

<v Speaker 1>on his birthday, yes, MJF is crossing over from his

<v Speaker 1>twenties to his thirties. He's changing decades. On March fifteenth,

<v Speaker 1>he can't think of a better gift. And then, finally

<v Speaker 1>ending the myth of Hangman, Adam Page and his cowboys shit,

<v Speaker 1>So now it was Hangman's turn. See they were very nice,

<v Speaker 1>into a match between three other men who already hated

<v Speaker 1>each other, who waited on the floor, picked his ass,

<v Speaker 1>slid into the ring, kicked him in the balls, and

<v Speaker 1>collected the spoils of greater men, says MJF. Says he

<v Speaker 1>hates him, But he hates MJF so much worse. And

<v Speaker 1>it's not because of any of that or all of

<v Speaker 1>the years of lying and cheating. It's because when he

<v Speaker 1>looks at MJF. He has never met someone more like him,

<v Speaker 1>says mjf's desperation for love and acceptance. He's no better

<v Speaker 1>than that, and he hates it. And he knows how

<v Speaker 1>loyal MJF is to aw it feels just like him.

<v Speaker 1>And as much as everyone wants that championship, the two

<v Speaker 1>of them, they have always needed it. A revolution. He

<v Speaker 1>wants to end this for good, forever, and he thinks.

<v Speaker 1>MJF knows that this cannot be any normal wrestling match, says,

<v Speaker 1>he feels it, he knows it, So think about a stipulation,

<v Speaker 1>pitch it. Let him hear it, because he has always

<v Speaker 1>known what this match should be, and they should let

<v Speaker 1>the fans decide what this match should be. Well, that

<v Speaker 1>is a terrible idea. You cannot allow the fans to

<v Speaker 1>determine these things. That's not a good idea. So the

<v Speaker 1>fans started chanting Texas death. At least they didn't start

<v Speaker 1>shouting exploding barbed wire deathmatch. Last time they did one

<v Speaker 1>of those, it didn't turn out well. MJF says that

<v Speaker 1>if you think that we're going to do anything but

<v Speaker 1>a normal professional wrestling match for my title, you're out

<v Speaker 1>of your damn mind. Hangman thought he would say that

<v Speaker 1>because he's scared. He's always been a coward. So Max,

<v Speaker 1>if you will agree to this, I will give you something.

<v Speaker 1>I will give you my word. I will give the

<v Speaker 1>fans my word that if I do not win this match,

<v Speaker 1>then I will never again challenge for the aw World

<v Speaker 1>title so long as I live. So MJF at that

<v Speaker 1>point he cracked a smile and he told him, you

<v Speaker 1>got yourself a deal, cowboy, But as far as the

<v Speaker 1>stipulation goes, he's gonna need a week to think it over,

<v Speaker 1>because unlike Hangman, he doesn't shoot first and ask questions later.

<v Speaker 1>And Hangman told him to think it over, but he

<v Speaker 1>already knows the answer. Revolution Texas death s him a

<v Speaker 1>little confused here because he offered to put his ability

<v Speaker 1>to ever challenge for the title again on the line

<v Speaker 1>in this match if MJF gives him what he wants,

<v Speaker 1>which is a Texas deathmatch. And MJF said, you have

<v Speaker 1>a deal, but I need a week to think of

<v Speaker 1>a stipulation. He just told you the stipulation. I don't

<v Speaker 1>know that part of the problem was a little confusing

<v Speaker 1>to me. But uh, Texas death. I mean, look, Texas,

<v Speaker 1>his death is Hangman's go to stipulations. To no surprise there.

<v Speaker 1>I guess we'll see if ultimately, you know, MJF decides

<v Speaker 1>on something different. But I don't think they would flat

<v Speaker 1>out say Texas death and not deliver it, right, I mean,

<v Speaker 1>Tony knows what the fans now, what their expectations are,

<v Speaker 1>and what they're looking for. They're looking for blood and

<v Speaker 1>guts and gore and violence and thumbtacks and staple guns

<v Speaker 1>and drinking blood and all the other shit that we

<v Speaker 1>see in these Texas deathmatches. But the other stipulation, that

<v Speaker 1>other stipulation did not work out well for Cody Rhodes

<v Speaker 1>and it really hamstrung him and maybe even frankly played

<v Speaker 1>a role in his downfall in that company in terms

<v Speaker 1>of the fans started, you know, they started to boo

<v Speaker 1>him and they started to kind of sour on Cody

<v Speaker 1>because you couldn't tell the obvious story. Look at how

<v Speaker 1>well the story worked for him in WWE. It was

<v Speaker 1>literally it was the story, right, I got to finish

<v Speaker 1>my story. They built an entire WrestleMania two WrestleMania main

<v Speaker 1>events they built around his story. There was no story

<v Speaker 1>to tell like that for him in aw because in

<v Speaker 1>the very first year that that company existed, he snatched

<v Speaker 1>it away and for what To this day, I still

<v Speaker 1>don't really understand why they made that decision. It was dumb,

<v Speaker 1>It was completely unnecessary. And I feel like they're doing

<v Speaker 1>the same thing here now, you know, with Hangman, where

<v Speaker 1>it just feels to me like they're boxing themselves into

<v Speaker 1>a corner, you know, unnecessarily. So I am not a

<v Speaker 1>fan of the stipulation. I don't know if anybody even

<v Speaker 1>still really truly believes that Hangman now is gonna win.

<v Speaker 1>Hangman is not going to win the Championship of Revolution

<v Speaker 1>and go three and oher on MJF and end his

<v Speaker 1>run this soon, Like there's just no way. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>that would be booking malpractice if they take that title

<v Speaker 1>away from him on the fifteenth, let alone on the

<v Speaker 1>man's birthday, for crying out loud. Can't do that. So yeah,

<v Speaker 1>I don't really understand why they're doing it. But and

<v Speaker 1>I joked about it before, but it's true. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>the one big difference now in twenty twenty six as

<v Speaker 1>compared to twenty nineteen, there are a lot of other

<v Speaker 1>championships for Hangman to compete for. In fact, he's holding

<v Speaker 1>one right now. He's got a Trio's belt. But they

<v Speaker 1>got the TNT title, and they got the continental title,

<v Speaker 1>and they got the International title, and they have the

<v Speaker 1>national title. It's not like he doesn't have anything to

<v Speaker 1>fight for. But you call him the main character in

<v Speaker 1>aw He's one of their top stars, two time world champion,

<v Speaker 1>and to say, well, I'll never again be able to

<v Speaker 1>challenge for the world title. It's just one of those

<v Speaker 1>things where they're trying to really drive interest in the

<v Speaker 1>match and sweeten the pot as much as possible. There

<v Speaker 1>are other ways to do that, you know, with other

<v Speaker 1>stipulations to make the match appealing without having to go

<v Speaker 1>down that road. I understand it adds an element of

<v Speaker 1>drama to the match now because you would hope with

<v Speaker 1>some of those near falls, like people are hanging on

<v Speaker 1>to every near fall. Oh my god. You know Hangman's

<v Speaker 1>you're never going to be able to challenge again, And

<v Speaker 1>I get that's what they're going for, but I just

<v Speaker 1>feel like it's unnecessary, it's not heated. You have Rodericks

<v Speaker 1>says Hangman will be an awesome National champion, Sure, he

<v Speaker 1>wants to trade down instead of trading up. He'll be

<v Speaker 1>feuding with Ricochet for the national title. We had the

<v Speaker 1>conglomeration Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro ish against the war Dogs

<v Speaker 1>Gabe Kid and Clark Connors. There was a spot late

<v Speaker 1>in the match where Connors tags in Is she is

<v Speaker 1>the legal man, and he charges towards is she and

<v Speaker 1>Is she collapses, grabs his leg, grabs his hamstring. It

<v Speaker 1>looks like and he just buckles to the match, but

<v Speaker 1>he stayed in it. He looked like he was in pain.

<v Speaker 1>He got back up to his feet. He was moving

<v Speaker 1>very very slow and very gingerly. But then again, that's

<v Speaker 1>kind of ischy most of the time. He avoided a suplex.

<v Speaker 1>He planted Connors with a backdrop suplex e. She struggled

<v Speaker 1>to his feet, but he still turned Kid inside out

<v Speaker 1>with a lariat. Connors, though, hit a snap power slam

<v Speaker 1>Orange Cassidy, who I think had been dumped outside. He returned,

<v Speaker 1>having no idea that his partner was injured, spiked Connors

<v Speaker 1>with a spinning DDT and a topey suicida on Gabe Kid.

<v Speaker 1>So both men now brawl into the crowd. Darby Allen

<v Speaker 1>pops up and he kidnaps kid deep into the crowd.

<v Speaker 1>Another kidnapping on this show. That's at least two that

<v Speaker 1>I think. I feel like I may have missed one.

<v Speaker 1>That's at least two. Cassidy returned to the ring. He

<v Speaker 1>hit an orange punch on Connor's who stumbled back in

<v Speaker 1>to what they said was a brainbuster by e. She

<v Speaker 1>It was not a brainbuster. It was a fucking vertical souplex,

<v Speaker 1>is what it was. But they called it a brainbuster,

<v Speaker 1>and is she got the win. And when the match

<v Speaker 1>was over, Cassidy and Rick Knox they went over to

<v Speaker 1>check on him. He just looked like he was in

<v Speaker 1>rough shape. He was in very rough shape. On commentary,

<v Speaker 1>they speculated that she may have torn his hamstring. I

<v Speaker 1>rewound it too earlier in the match, just to see.

<v Speaker 1>To me, there was no noticeable moment in the match

<v Speaker 1>where he would have and we don't know that he

<v Speaker 1>tore his hamstring. That's just it looks like that probably

<v Speaker 1>is what happened here, or maybe some other muscle. There

<v Speaker 1>was no obvious spot where it happened, so I don't know.

<v Speaker 1>But she is older, and my god, the fucking Wars

<v Speaker 1>that this guy has been in. Is it really shocking

<v Speaker 1>if he fucking pulled a hamstring here? I mean, look

<v Speaker 1>at the way the guy moves when he's healthy. But hey,

<v Speaker 1>him tonight, Lafoxion Ingo Bernable would get a Trios title

<v Speaker 1>shot on Collision and I was like, Okay, Mortos winning

<v Speaker 1>a match, now that's fucking hilarious, like okay high comedy

<v Speaker 1>here from Kevin Knight. Mortos worked overnight during the commercial

<v Speaker 1>break and he launched Night over the top and flattened

<v Speaker 1>him with a Torneo dive and the crowd popped for

<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, Mortos is fun to watch and he

<v Speaker 1>goes out there and crowds into his matches. Never fucking wins,

<v Speaker 1>but he's fun to watch. Back inside, Morto's spiked Night

<v Speaker 1>with a huge pop up simon drop. Knight managed to

<v Speaker 1>battle back with a huge dropkick and he used his

<v Speaker 1>I mean, he was flying all over the ring and

<v Speaker 1>ended up taking the beast down hit a leaping splash.

<v Speaker 1>Mortos avoided leaping DDT. He went to the corner. Knight

<v Speaker 1>met him with a leaping hurr karana and then a

<v Speaker 1>pendulum DDT and then he went up top and he

<v Speaker 1>hit the UFO splash. He picked up the win. Not

<v Speaker 1>a long match here, and it was one of those

<v Speaker 1>matches it felt like a collision match in that it

<v Speaker 1>was just sort of thrown out there. A couple guys

<v Speaker 1>who don't really get a lot of airtime on this

<v Speaker 1>show on Wednesday, but Kevin Knight is one of those

<v Speaker 1>guys who I think has the potential to be to

<v Speaker 1>them what Kyle Fletcher has become. Where Kyle Fletcher who

<v Speaker 1>also has become a good promo, and Kevin Knight I

<v Speaker 1>think could also end up in that category. He's one

<v Speaker 1>of those super talented younger guys who's very flashy in

<v Speaker 1>the ring and is fun to watch and as a babyface,

<v Speaker 1>whereas Fletcher is a heel but probably as a babyface,

<v Speaker 1>could get over his big star, one of those big

<v Speaker 1>up and coming young rising stars for them. But you

<v Speaker 1>just got to give him the right focus and attention,

<v Speaker 1>which is what they did to Fletcher, and it paid

<v Speaker 1>off for them because Fletcher, They've turned Fletcher into a

<v Speaker 1>real star here on this roster. Kevin Knight has the potential,

<v Speaker 1>you know, to be someone like that, but in order

<v Speaker 1>to do that, you know, you got to give him

<v Speaker 1>matches on the show, and you would hope over time

<v Speaker 1>they could do a little bit better than the Beast

<v Speaker 1>Morta's who never wins. But at least they're getting him airtime.

<v Speaker 1>You know, like if you were to say to me, hey,

<v Speaker 1>we got Speedball and we got Kevin Knight, and we're

<v Speaker 1>only gonna have time they're not going to do a

<v Speaker 1>tag match, but we only have time to put one

<v Speaker 1>of them on the show tonight. I'm gonna say it

<v Speaker 1>should be Kevin Knight. Speedball does not need to be

<v Speaker 1>in that spot. Kevin Knight mes to, you know, have

<v Speaker 1>those opportunities on the show coming out of that Continental Classic.

<v Speaker 1>and just get him consistently on the show. And these

<v Speaker 1>matches are okay, but preferably get him involved in a

<v Speaker 1>that's not gonna cut it. I actually feel like the

<v Speaker 1>Trio's belts have become more of a detriment than anything else.

<v Speaker 1>have to we have to occupy them somehow. Hey, we'll

<v Speaker 1>put Hangman together with Jet Speed and there'll be the

<v Speaker 1>Trios Champions. It's like, Okay, I don't really know what

<v Speaker 1>purpose that serves. I feel like it might be more

<v Speaker 1>of a hindrance than anything else. Should be building these

<v Speaker 1>guys up for a Tech team title shot. We got

<v Speaker 1>another will Osprey Vinette where he was talking about if

<v Speaker 1>you think he'll be half the animal he was when

<v Speaker 1>he returns. No, this is where the wrestle, It's where

<v Speaker 1>Total Iona said that this Saturday, be prepared to be

<v Speaker 1>in deep waters against the sharks and Ricochet. He turned around.

<v Speaker 1>They were walking towards their dressing room and on the

<v Speaker 1>door of the dressing room there's a knife that is

<v Speaker 1>stabbed into the door and Ricochet. He is concerned initially

<v Speaker 1>about this, and then he he laughs it off because

<v Speaker 1>the knife you see is the calling card of jungle

<v Speaker 1>Boy Riveting. I know, main event on this show. This

<v Speaker 1>was riveting. This was Kenny Omega for the first time ever,

<v Speaker 1>going one on one against Swerve Strickland, two former AEW

<v Speaker 1>World champions going one on one. Crowd started the holy

<v Speaker 1>Shit chans right from the opening bell. Both men were

<v Speaker 1>smacking each other in the face. Swerve fired off some four.

<v Speaker 1>He ran right into a standing hurricanana from Omega that

<v Speaker 1>sent him outside. Omega wanted a terminator dive Swerve, they'll

<v Speaker 1>cut him off and hit a Fosberry flop, So Swerve

<v Speaker 1>got sent into the crowd. Omega. He briefly stumbled, but

<v Speaker 1>then hit a moon salt off the barricade into the crowd.

<v Speaker 1>Got one final ad break here. Later on in the matro,

<v Speaker 1>Omega connected on the Yuchan escape. Strickland, though kicked out

<v Speaker 1>at too, and then he sidestepped a charge in the corner.

<v Speaker 1>He brought Omega up in the corner. Took too long though,

<v Speaker 1>for a top rope hurricanana that allowed Omega to slide

<v Speaker 1>out and plants him face first onto the post. Brian

<v Speaker 1>Danielson on commentary said, he sees that look in Swerve's eye.

<v Speaker 1>He sees that look, and he slammed Omega repeatedly into

<v Speaker 1>the buckles. Strickland wanted a vertebraker on the apron, thankfully

<v Speaker 1>long look at the floor and looked back at Swerve.

<v Speaker 1>feet and Omega fell backwards off the apron and landed

<v Speaker 1>into a brainbuster on the floor. So after throwing Omega

<v Speaker 1>back inside, Stricklin hit a four fifty to the back,

<v Speaker 1>Omega kicked out both men counter big Pressure and snap

<v Speaker 1>dragons respectively. Omega connected on an avalanche dragon suplex as

<v Speaker 1>Swerve then called over to Aubrey Edwards as if his

<v Speaker 1>shoulder may have been dislocated, and it's like, oh boy,

<v Speaker 1>just what they need, right, another injury here on this show.

<v Speaker 1>So he calls her over. Aubrey comes over to check

<v Speaker 1>on him, but as this is happening, Omega he is

<v Speaker 1>charging in for a V trigger and at the very

<v Speaker 1>last second, Swerve grabs Aubrey Edwards and pulls her into

<v Speaker 1>the line of fire and Omega blasts her with a

<v Speaker 1>V trigger and this got a big reaction. This got

<v Speaker 1>booze from the crowd. And I just love on commentary,

<v Speaker 1>the announcers and Brian Danielson in particular, who won the

<v Speaker 1>award by the way, he won the Wrestling Observer twenty

<v Speaker 1>twenty five award for Best Wrestling Announcer Best Wrestling Commentator

<v Speaker 1>of the Year. Chimed in to tell us, I don't

<v Speaker 1>think he did that intentionally, and I'm like, yes, he did.

<v Speaker 1>Although if you don't think he did it intentionally, that's fine,

<v Speaker 1>But that just means you need to go see your

<v Speaker 1>op topic a trist and you got fucking cataracts in

<v Speaker 1>on her. Apparently the other referees maybe don't like her

<v Speaker 1>very much. There were no medics who came out to

<v Speaker 1>check on her. She just laid there dead in the

<v Speaker 1>ring for I mean, it could have been a good

<v Speaker 1>ninety seconds two minutes. Other than Nona, nobody bothered to

<v Speaker 1>come over and check on her. Swerve went up top.

<v Speaker 1>He hit a swerve stomp to Omega on the apron

<v Speaker 1>and Omega's face took the brunt of that. Strickland took

<v Speaker 1>off the protective there's a protective cover one of the

<v Speaker 1>beams that connects the turnbuckle to the ring post, and

<v Speaker 1>he had a slingshot, so he sent Omega up face

<v Speaker 1>now he's just putting a beatdown on Kenny Omega. He's

<v Speaker 1>trying to get rid of the competition here. He wants

<v Speaker 1>the world title back. He is just trying to eliminate

<v Speaker 1>the competition as much as he can, which actually, now

<v Speaker 1>that I think about it makes me wonder you want

<v Speaker 1>to eliminate some competition from the world title scene. I

<v Speaker 1>could think of something for Swerve to do a revolution

<v Speaker 1>now that a hangman went and added that stupid stipulation

<v Speaker 1>to his match. If he really wants to clear the

<v Speaker 1>field a little bit, he could cost Hangman his match

<v Speaker 1>with MJF and then Hangman can never again challenge for

<v Speaker 1>the World Championship. And then Hangman could just go back

<v Speaker 1>on his word and say, well, he cheated, he cost

<v Speaker 1>me my match. That therefore I'm going to ignore the

<v Speaker 1>stipulation and I am going to challenge for the world

<v Speaker 1>title because I didn't lose. Swerve cost me my match.

<v Speaker 1>See that at least would make sense. So then not

<v Speaker 1>only was he beating up Kenny Omega, he tossed Paul

<v Speaker 1>proved your point. He sets up the ring steps right

<v Speaker 1>next to the desk, and he executes a vertebreaker to

<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega from the steps through the announced desk, which

<v Speaker 1>does explode and Kenny is dead. Has killed Kenny to

<v Speaker 1>close out the show, but the camera gets right up

<v Speaker 1>in Swerve's face and he's looking at the camera and

<v Speaker 1>he's like, I needed this, I needed this. So this

<v Speaker 1>is where I could I could potentially see them playing

<v Speaker 1>it very you know, tweener like where maybe it's not

<v Speaker 1>a full blown heel turn. I tend to think it is,

<v Speaker 1>but if they wanted to, there could be some shades

<v Speaker 1>of gray in there. He's just doing what he feels

<v Speaker 1>he needs to do, you know, to get back into

<v Speaker 1>that number one contender spot for the world title. But again,

<v Speaker 1>it's all about the world title. The match itself was excellent,

<v Speaker 1>match you would expect these two to go out there

<v Speaker 1>and have, you know, very pay per view quality esque.

<v Speaker 1>guest of honor there in mid March. He was supposed

<v Speaker 1>possible that if they could work something out, maybe he

<v Speaker 1>can come back home earlier and be it revolution. But

<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at this and I'm like, I don't think

<v Speaker 1>they're expecting him at revolution. So that's why I said

<v Speaker 1>maybe you do like a Swerve Brody king right. You

<v Speaker 1>could even be honestly, you could even build to that

<v Speaker 1>as like a number one contenders match if you wanted to.
