<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katie and Josh Mix one hundred the Olympics yesterday
<v Speaker 1>a cross country skiing event. Uh, this dog ran out
<v Speaker 1>onto the course, right dog, right in front of two skiers.
<v Speaker 2>He even crossed the finish line.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Did you guys see the video of it?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, yes, yes, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Then he started sniffing people's butts.
<v Speaker 4>It's what dogs do, make sure, especially a wolf dog.
<v Speaker 4>That thing looked so scary, like.
<v Speaker 2>His name was Nosgoul, Lord of the Rings. It's sick.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, no, it was scary dog, but quite funny.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, here's they are talking about it across the light,
<v Speaker 2>racing to the line.
<v Speaker 4>There the crowd clearly enjoyed this.
<v Speaker 2>The biggest cheer of the day is not for any
<v Speaker 2>of the skiers so far. Oh that's true.
<v Speaker 1>Speed down the finishing straight.
<v Speaker 4>The local wildlife domesticated.
<v Speaker 2>Even they sound bored with the Olympics. The Olympics are
<v Speaker 2>so bad that this is like the highlights now that
<v Speaker 2>are coming.
<v Speaker 4>Out wolf dog.
<v Speaker 1>It's so boring anyway, This dog lives nearby. His owners
<v Speaker 1>are related to one of the event officials.
<v Speaker 2>So that was the big Olympic news.
<v Speaker 4>Yestue is pretty funny.
<v Speaker 1>There's your jar on sports. Here's jar on peanut butter
<v Speaker 1>cups Brad Reese's.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah huh. The grandson of the Reese's inventor, HB. Reeses.
<v Speaker 3>I thought that was a new kind of peanut butter top.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like Brad.
<v Speaker 1>The grandson wrote a LinkedIn post a few days ago,
<v Speaker 1>accusing the company of changing his family's classic formula, and.
<v Speaker 2>Not for the better.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, he said, the Hershey's company is replacing milk chocolate
<v Speaker 1>with compound coatings, oh no, and peanut butter with peanut
<v Speaker 1>butter style creams across multiple Reese's products, and he's worried
<v Speaker 1>that the Reeses legacy is at risk.
<v Speaker 4>Well, yeah, you can't change something like that.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, the peanut butter cup is by far America's
<v Speaker 3>favorite candy bar.
<v Speaker 4>You cannot change its integrity.
<v Speaker 2>You really can't, right, I think you can't know?
<v Speaker 4>Blasphemy?
<v Speaker 1>Well her, she's just saying that the cups are still
<v Speaker 1>peanut butter and chocolate at the core. They're made the
<v Speaker 1>same way they have always been, starting with roasting fresh
<v Speaker 1>peanuts and making our unique, one of a kind peanut
<v Speaker 1>butter let's combined with milk chocolate. They didn't elaborate, though,
<v Speaker 1>about the past and current ingredients.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Like, did they say Brad's line or are they
<v Speaker 3>just like, listen, let's calm down.
<v Speaker 1>They said there has been recipe adjustments that have had
<v Speaker 1>to been made over time to accommodate new shapes, sizes,
<v Speaker 1>and innovation.
<v Speaker 4>Why would the shapes matter?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so I don't know if Brad is right.
<v Speaker 1>I guess there's some there's some gray area here then
<v Speaker 1>whether or not Reese's is using the OG recipe. My
<v Speaker 1>biggest concern is I saw some people talking about this
<v Speaker 1>on the news the other day. They kept saying Rece's
<v Speaker 1>and you know how I am with that.
<v Speaker 3>I heard a little kid say it in the store
<v Speaker 3>the other day and I giggled because I'm children say that,
<v Speaker 3>I says, So I was very I do, says, but
<v Speaker 3>they can't like, oh, do we believe We're gonna have
<v Speaker 3>to stay on this story because I believe.
<v Speaker 1>I believe Brad I would think is cost cutting measures.
<v Speaker 1>And you know, like they said, different products coming out
<v Speaker 1>over time, they're gonna have to change the recipes and
<v Speaker 1>tweak it just a little bit. Why it's not the
<v Speaker 1>same recipe as inventor HB.
<v Speaker 2>Reesees it should be why it's it's milk, chocolate, peanut butter, easy.
<v Speaker 4>HBS is stop.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody's gonna shove you down outside.
<v Speaker 1>I would never shove a lady, but some some street
<v Speaker 1>tough mite out there. Speaking of products, I'm gonna need
<v Speaker 1>some help from our listening audience because I want to
<v Speaker 1>create a jingle. But since this is a thing right
<v Speaker 1>now and everybody's doing jingles for products hoping that they
<v Speaker 1>get scooped up, I want to do one. I just
<v Speaker 1>need a product, so if you wanted to, I need
<v Speaker 1>something that's kind of silly, it's kind of generic, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna make a jingle and see if it takes off.
<v Speaker 1>So I just need product ideas. I'm gonna let you
<v Speaker 1>guys do the heavy lifting with that. Three ozho three
<v Speaker 1>six nine one one mix three O three six nine
<v Speaker 1>one sixteen forty nine. Give me a company and I'll
<v Speaker 1>come up with a jingle and we'll play it on
<v Speaker 1>the air and then send it off to that company
<v Speaker 1>and see what happens.
<v Speaker 4>Let's go good with that. I'm this is fun for me, So.
<v Speaker 2>Cup noodles, manandscaping or something whenever you guys want just generic,
<v Speaker 2>fairly easy. You might get me to sing out of this.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see, h but yeah, text to text me the
<v Speaker 1>product and we'll try to make a jingle. Three oh three,
<v Speaker 1>six nine one, sixteen forty nine. What's the local stuff?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, So the news stations thought they were funny with
<v Speaker 3>this one, but the headline said, over four hundred and
<v Speaker 3>twenty pounds is this inspected pot found in plastic garbage
<v Speaker 3>pegs along the side.
<v Speaker 4>Of a road.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, a whole lot of that suspected stuff, it is,
<v Speaker 3>and that's where I left it. Huh. Coming from the
<v Speaker 3>Weld County Sheriff's office. They said they found even more
<v Speaker 3>of it west.
<v Speaker 4>Of that drop off location. So this also happened in
<v Speaker 4>August of last year.
<v Speaker 3>So seems to be a thing where people are taking
<v Speaker 3>garbage bags full of quote unquote suspected pot and leaving
<v Speaker 3>it on the side of the road. I kind of
<v Speaker 3>have a theory about this though, right because you know
<v Speaker 3>the pot farms, right, the alleged pot farms.
<v Speaker 4>Do we have to say alleged for that part too,
<v Speaker 4>I don't.
<v Speaker 3>Know, even if I'm not familiar, but when they take
<v Speaker 3>and they do the trimming and everything for the plants, like.
<v Speaker 4>All of the stuff left over, like oh goes away.
<v Speaker 3>Got garbage bags, and I think this might be that
<v Speaker 3>because I just like, like I was thinking about it.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, four hundred and twenty pounds, that's an
<v Speaker 3>awful lot of suspected pot on the side of the road.
<v Speaker 4>I know, that's what I said. I said.
<v Speaker 3>The news stations think they're funny that the four and
<v Speaker 3>twenty pounds they round up four and twenty seven how
<v Speaker 3>much over four hundred be could have also worked.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, so if this is the remnants of a
<v Speaker 1>potweed farm, that's what I think. Is somebody lifting it
<v Speaker 1>off the farm and then making a drop somewhere or
<v Speaker 1>is it blowing away?
<v Speaker 2>Get rid of it? And I think you're side of.
<v Speaker 4>The road, just put that stuff in the trash, because
<v Speaker 4>I would think.
<v Speaker 1>There's you know, regulations and disposal, especially if it's not
<v Speaker 1>you know, up to the.
<v Speaker 2>Underground potweed.
<v Speaker 4>This is all just us throwing things out there.
<v Speaker 3>And none of this has been proven or anything, but
<v Speaker 3>that's what I think, because that's an awful.
<v Speaker 2>Lot of you know, you're no, I'm not. And last
<v Speaker 2>time Katie got stone, this is what she sounded like.
<v Speaker 4>That's why it sounded familiar.
<v Speaker 2>Pot weed.
<v Speaker 4>So yeah, again, I'm glad you had a thing. Thank you,
<v Speaker 4>thank you.
<v Speaker 3>All right, where my ladies, I love this story about
<v Speaker 3>the Denver Summit FC. So they broke ticket sale records
<v Speaker 3>for the inaugural game for the squad that's coming up
<v Speaker 3>March twenty eighth at empower Field.
<v Speaker 4>They sold forty five thousand tickets already for that game.
<v Speaker 3>That's crazy again, breaking that single game nwsl attendance record.
<v Speaker 3>So people in the community super fire about this team.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, my goodness, it is a really big deal.
<v Speaker 3>And again if you didn't catch it, they aren't playing
<v Speaker 3>in their new stadium because it's not built, so they're
<v Speaker 3>going to be at empower Field for the first little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Can I quickly say thank you everybody who was writing
<v Speaker 1>in about jingle ideas.
<v Speaker 2>Stop it with the condoms.
<v Speaker 1>That is the I'm not doing condoms, Magnum condoms, Trojan condoms,
<v Speaker 1>none of that.
<v Speaker 2>Come on with Q tips. Q is pretty good. And
<v Speaker 2>then catchup Ketu making I I ketchup. I keep them coming.
<v Speaker 2>Irish spring soap nut do shit all right, what else
<v Speaker 2>you okay?
<v Speaker 3>So we talked about this earlier about the dark Horse
<v Speaker 3>in Boulder, is closing. Yeah. And here's the thing about
<v Speaker 3>The dark Horse, which is the bar and restaurant over
<v Speaker 3>there in Boulder. Well, it's been a thing since like
<v Speaker 3>nineteen seventy five, so it's been around for a really
<v Speaker 3>long time.
<v Speaker 1>I found out last night that Nicole's mom and dad
<v Speaker 1>used to go out on dates there.
<v Speaker 2>Really it's been there that long.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean again there burgers apparently are some of
<v Speaker 3>the best in the area. And it's pretty iconic as
<v Speaker 3>far as just you know, the fact that it's the
<v Speaker 3>dark Horse. But the future of it has been uncertain
<v Speaker 3>for the last two years. And that's because a plan
<v Speaker 3>to turn the parking lot right there in the area
<v Speaker 3>into a mixed use development.
<v Speaker 4>Called Williams Village.
<v Speaker 3>So this was announced in January of twenty twenty four.
<v Speaker 3>So when they said that, they're like, wait a minute,
<v Speaker 3>where's the dark Horse going to go?
<v Speaker 4>And people were petitioning. We're getting pretty you know, crazy
<v Speaker 4>about it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, is there a petition to save this place.
<v Speaker 3>The thing is, when it first happened, they showed up
<v Speaker 3>in droves to a public hearing to express their desire
<v Speaker 3>for it to stay open. But all of that led
<v Speaker 3>to nothing, and they're going to have to shut it down.
<v Speaker 3>March fourteenth is the last day, and they're having a
<v Speaker 3>whole month long of like celebration for the dark Horse
<v Speaker 3>before they close the doors.
<v Speaker 4>But a lot of people are pretty upset about it.
<v Speaker 2>I've never been.
<v Speaker 1>I was actually either just invited last night to go
<v Speaker 1>to that place this weekend, so we might pop in there,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm gonna be pissed if I enjoy it. I know.
<v Speaker 3>Well, everybody says it's very unique, but Josh has been
<v Speaker 3>to the dark Horse my friends.
<v Speaker 2>To see you Boulder and their burgers are insane. The
<v Speaker 2>atmosphere is so cool, and I just it's such a
<v Speaker 2>bummer that it's closing down. That made me really sad
<v Speaker 2>hearing about it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, so definitely people will be paying homage to
<v Speaker 3>the dark Horse for the next couple of weeks.
<v Speaker 4>And then hey one more.
<v Speaker 3>Because when it comes to top spring break destinations in
<v Speaker 3>the country, of course.
<v Speaker 4>You think Colorado, right, No?
<v Speaker 1>No.
<v Speaker 3>Google released a report involving flight data to see where
<v Speaker 3>those crazy kids are going and veil rounding out the
<v Speaker 3>top ten on the list, Hawaii number one. There's spots
<v Speaker 3>in Florida and California, of course, but Veil Colorado rounding
<v Speaker 3>things out. But of course we know you can geel
<v Speaker 3>a great scheme and in the month of March up
<v Speaker 3>in the high country, so may I suggest Loveland.
<v Speaker 2>But you know, I'm just.
<v Speaker 3>Saying, we know why people, we know why people go
<v Speaker 3>to the mountains for spring break and no surprise, but yeah,
<v Speaker 3>Veil Colorado on that list.
<v Speaker 2>Well done, Veil.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, congratulations, fist bump, and again thank you to everybody
<v Speaker 1>who is writing in in regards to the product that
<v Speaker 1>I need to make a jingle for.
<v Speaker 2>Agle Waffles is on the list old Spice and I
<v Speaker 2>got us. Well, there's some coffee creamer. I think right
<v Speaker 2>now in the lead is the scrub Daddy.
<v Speaker 4>I love the scrub Daddy.
<v Speaker 2>I love the scrub Daddy too.
<v Speaker 1>Scrub Daddy and a scrub Monty. Who's your scrub Daddy?
<v Speaker 1>That might be in the lead right now. But what
<v Speaker 1>product would you like me to make a jingle for?
<v Speaker 1>Three Zho three six' nine one sixteen forty.
<v Speaker 2>Nine you guys are the.
<v Speaker 3>Bomb
