<v Speaker 1>Jerry Katy and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>What the frick?
<v Speaker 1>Man?
<v Speaker 2>What the frick? The amount of times I saw Jim
<v Speaker 2>Carrey's weird face this weekend? What is going on with
<v Speaker 2>his face?
<v Speaker 1>The clone? That's the big story.
<v Speaker 3>Everybody's saying Jim has been replaced by a clone. I
<v Speaker 3>think he's been replaced with massive amounts of botox.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's just growing old like all of us are.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't know. I think his face wasn't that
<v Speaker 1>weird to me. I think everyone had just I don't
<v Speaker 1>think people have seen him enough. We're gonna start, we
<v Speaker 1>might because I don't think people have seen him enough
<v Speaker 1>to see how he has aged. So when he just
<v Speaker 1>pops up every now and then, it's shocking to people
<v Speaker 1>because we're not ready for it. But I think maybe
<v Speaker 1>he's got a look che Fillers, he's got fellers, he's
<v Speaker 1>got some things going on where he got work done.
<v Speaker 2>But he's fighting it. Yeah, he's fighting the agent.
<v Speaker 1>And I claim him. But I think that people getting
<v Speaker 1>so upset about it. It's like, man, it says a
<v Speaker 1>lot about our society.
<v Speaker 3>I think, well, he's it's not the Jim Carrey that
<v Speaker 3>we've grown up with and loves. I mean, my friends
<v Speaker 3>called me Ace in high school because of my Jim
<v Speaker 3>Carrey impression. Like I know Jim Carrey, I know his face.
<v Speaker 3>And for a for a dude that has made money
<v Speaker 3>off of his face for years and years, they call
<v Speaker 3>him rubber face. He can't move it now, he cannot
<v Speaker 3>move his face and he just looks strange.
<v Speaker 1>He said it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't don't like it.
<v Speaker 3>It's like, if you make money off your face, why
<v Speaker 3>would you want to fill it full of all that
<v Speaker 3>stuff and then you can't.
<v Speaker 1>First at all?
<v Speaker 4>You know?
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, from that, let's do some more face shaming. How
<v Speaker 3>about Kelly Osbourne? Everyone freaking out over Kelly Osbourne over
<v Speaker 3>the weekend.
<v Speaker 1>What's going on with her? Now?
<v Speaker 2>Have you seen how she looks?
<v Speaker 3>She's so incredibly thin, you can see her skeleton.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that's how it is.
<v Speaker 2>She's a scary, frail.
<v Speaker 1>I barely saw a glimpse of her and Sharon accepting
<v Speaker 1>an award on Ozzie's behalf, so I just saw again
<v Speaker 1>a picture of her and her arm. But I didn't
<v Speaker 1>realize that folks were.
<v Speaker 3>Do a quick certain to Kelly Osborne's face. She's firing
<v Speaker 3>back at critics over her then appearance, mostly because she's saying,
<v Speaker 3>you know, she's had a hard year, She's in a
<v Speaker 3>lot of pain, she's had some struggles with her dad
<v Speaker 3>passing away, a lot of family stuff. So yeah, she's
<v Speaker 3>she's not looking too good, she's not feeling too good. Yes,
<v Speaker 3>shocking right, Yeah, that's really thin, especially when you compare
<v Speaker 3>her to the Kelly Osbourne that you know, you and
<v Speaker 3>I grew up with on the Osborne Yeah, completely different person.
<v Speaker 1>She has definitely you know, battled her weight yo yod
<v Speaker 1>if you will, we call them the yo yo diets.
<v Speaker 1>But wow, I didn't realize that it was that Wow.
<v Speaker 2>Shocking right, Yeah, so thoughts some press, right thought some press.
<v Speaker 1>Uh.
<v Speaker 3>Scream seven dominated the weekend box office sixty four million dollars,
<v Speaker 3>if you want to call that dominating. We talked a
<v Speaker 3>little bit last week about how the Rotten Tomato score
<v Speaker 3>wasn't that great, but the people that going to see it,
<v Speaker 3>that some of the reviews were out there on it said,
<v Speaker 3>it's actually pretty darn good and pretty darn entertaining.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of like the Scream series.
<v Speaker 1>I did too. I definitely check it out.
<v Speaker 2>So it's Courtney in this one too.
<v Speaker 1>I think she is. I'll come back, I thought so.
<v Speaker 2>As the Google box.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I got a couple of pieces of audio I
<v Speaker 3>want to play you guys.
<v Speaker 2>There we go.
<v Speaker 3>So this lady has gone viral. It's a woman in Florida.
<v Speaker 3>She was pulled over this month and sighted by a
<v Speaker 3>police officer for using a wireless they're calling it a
<v Speaker 3>wireless communications device while driving.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you can't do that.
<v Speaker 3>There's her phone. Yeah, well, here's the issue. You can
<v Speaker 3>hold your phone, you just can't be using it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I was reading about this.
<v Speaker 3>You can you can hold I don't know about here,
<v Speaker 3>but in Florida you can be holding your phone. That's
<v Speaker 3>not illegal, you just can't be using it.
<v Speaker 1>Well.
<v Speaker 3>What makes this story even more interesting that she was
<v Speaker 3>cited for using her Wireless Communityation's device while driving with
<v Speaker 3>her right hand, and she she doesn't have a right hand.
<v Speaker 2>Turns out you can.
<v Speaker 1>Still get a ticket for driving with a device in
<v Speaker 1>your right hand even.
<v Speaker 2>If you don't have a right hand.
<v Speaker 1>All right, man, So you're gonna have a citation for
<v Speaker 1>wires communication the wise Handhell while driving, you can't.
<v Speaker 2>We got to put the phone down us.
<v Speaker 1>We will brate the motivetle and you put on there
<v Speaker 1>that you saw me with my right hand holding it.
<v Speaker 1>That's what you said when you pulled me over. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>that you saw me holding my device.
<v Speaker 2>With my right hand.
<v Speaker 1>I disagree with you.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, I want to say, okay, if you want to.
<v Speaker 2>Take it a course, that's what you said you saw me, Okay, okay,
<v Speaker 2>any questions, No, that was smart her footage with you,
<v Speaker 2>and you come wow.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So I was reading more about it, and yes, they're
<v Speaker 3>going to fight it, and the lawyer was saying she's
<v Speaker 3>probably gonna win anyway, because it's not illegal to hold your.
<v Speaker 2>Phone, you just can't use it. But on top of
<v Speaker 2>it all, but she.
<v Speaker 1>Had to get a lawyer to prove she wasn't holding
<v Speaker 1>a phone in her non existent right Okay, man our
<v Speaker 1>judicial syst up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I give you one more thing too, because I
<v Speaker 2>want to call you.
<v Speaker 3>This little bit of audio it's coming out of text
<v Speaker 3>is people are calling this very unprofessional. It's a couple
<v Speaker 3>of newscasters that start bickering over the chance of rain
<v Speaker 3>on the newscast. They start getting in each other's kitchen.
<v Speaker 1>Listen, you don't have any rain in our forecast, but
<v Speaker 1>whether you don't have any rain in the forecast in the.
<v Speaker 2>Next few days.
<v Speaker 1>But in the next few days we have Midland on
<v Speaker 1>the radio. I just said a second ago, we have
<v Speaker 1>rain the foret weekend, right, well, I have the day
<v Speaker 1>of the event I have. I'm talking actually the rain chance.
<v Speaker 3>Is coming before because correct, people, I just your job.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't know why you don't listen to me anyways, Wow,
<v Speaker 1>because you're boring.
<v Speaker 3>I know a lot of people are gonna listen to
<v Speaker 3>that be like, oh my god for us. So it's
<v Speaker 3>like it's just what we do every day.
<v Speaker 1>But these are newspeople. Yeah, when they go off script,
<v Speaker 1>it's a big deal. What happens when that teleprompter goes down?
<v Speaker 1>They start fighting.
<v Speaker 2>I love her because you're so good. Do we have
<v Speaker 2>some wort stuff today?
<v Speaker 4>We do?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to cover a
<v Speaker 4>really fantastic event. It's called the Brave Warriors Foundation, and
<v Speaker 4>I was with Jody and Adam. They are the founders
<v Speaker 4>of this organization, and it is an organization that works
<v Speaker 4>with police officers, firefighters and veterans as well, and it
<v Speaker 4>helps them find common ground and helps them kind of
<v Speaker 4>take out uh, the stresses that come with working these
<v Speaker 4>high pressure jobs, and it's all through hockey. And I
<v Speaker 4>love this because I grew up playing hockey and this
<v Speaker 4>is such an amazing event that goes on. And last
<v Speaker 4>weekend they did it with the Avalanche alumni, so they
<v Speaker 4>got to play a game after the AVS game at
<v Speaker 4>ball Aerin who did the the first responder. It was fantastic.
<v Speaker 4>And then I got to cover this event and watch
<v Speaker 4>them play with other AVS alumni like John Michael Lyles
<v Speaker 4>and many many more. Jon Stasney, Peter Muller, I got
<v Speaker 4>to interview and we'll have that Mueller Mueller Muehler. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>and I got to have a little interview with him
<v Speaker 4>before the game and we'll be posting that later. It
<v Speaker 4>was just a really neat event that I got to
<v Speaker 4>see and take part of, and I hope we get
<v Speaker 4>to do this a lot more again. Jody and Adam,
<v Speaker 4>they're the ones that kind of started this. Adam is
<v Speaker 4>a police officer in Fort Collins and I was able
<v Speaker 4>to talk with him as well, and it's just an
<v Speaker 4>amazing event that they put on. And yeah, like I said,
<v Speaker 4>the ABS alumni got together with them over the weekend
<v Speaker 4>played a game Team Dark versus Team White.
<v Speaker 1>It was great.
<v Speaker 4>It was so cool to see these guys and hear
<v Speaker 4>their story yea of things that they've dealt with and
<v Speaker 4>gone through being veterans police officers and firefighters. I mean, Jery,
<v Speaker 4>you can attest to this as well with your dad
<v Speaker 4>being a fire chief. They see incredibly horrific things throughout
<v Speaker 4>their life. And to have a place that you can
<v Speaker 4>come to and meet other men and women in uniform
<v Speaker 4>and talk with them and you know, kind of break
<v Speaker 4>bread with them, and then also do activities like this,
<v Speaker 4>it's just such a cool thing and I loved it
<v Speaker 4>and being a part of it was really really fantastic. Again,
<v Speaker 4>we'll have a video up later today of what I
<v Speaker 4>got to see in the interviews that I got to
<v Speaker 4>take part of.
<v Speaker 2>So really really cool. They're actually a.
<v Speaker 1>Great nonprofit here in our community, and did I did.
<v Speaker 1>I did what Jody and Adam do as well as
<v Speaker 1>they try and make all of this free for our
<v Speaker 1>first responders because hockey's expensive, so the nonprofit really goes
<v Speaker 1>towards raising funds so all the first responders can do
<v Speaker 1>this free of cost. And I love what they're doing,
<v Speaker 1>so shout out to Jody and Adam. Okay, back to
<v Speaker 1>some local stuff, and did you see here Denver and
<v Speaker 1>Colorado specifically, our restaurants cost more to operate than New
<v Speaker 1>York City establishments. Yes, and not only that that's just
<v Speaker 1>for the people that own restaurants, like they are feeling it,
<v Speaker 1>but just for us to go out and eat. We're
<v Speaker 1>one of the most expensive cities nationwide. We have the
<v Speaker 1>sixth highest menu prizes in the country. Guys, Jeremy, Josh,
<v Speaker 1>this is why we don't go out to eating, I know,
<v Speaker 1>and really since twenty nineteen, so this is even before COVID.
<v Speaker 1>I know COVID had a lot to do with it,
<v Speaker 1>but the menu prices in Denver specifically have grown almost
<v Speaker 1>thirty percent since twenty nineteen. Well, and a lot of it.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of different things that go into play.
<v Speaker 1>But this is all according to an industry study that
<v Speaker 1>was released on Friday, and they're saying one of the things,
<v Speaker 1>and this is it's kind of a hot button issue
<v Speaker 1>a little bit because it's the service industry. But the
<v Speaker 1>service industry wage has doubled in the last couple of years,
<v Speaker 1>whereas menu prices and things have like stayed the same.
<v Speaker 3>So it's the cost of food and everything in general
<v Speaker 3>is food, cost of labors.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, yeah, but what they make, that's what it is.
<v Speaker 1>The pay more to their service people. But what they
<v Speaker 1>make is kind of stayed the same as far as
<v Speaker 1>what restaurants bring in. So why it's so hard for
<v Speaker 1>them to even you know, create any kind of customer
<v Speaker 1>base around here in Colorado, but then to keep it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it it's more expensive for us to go out and
<v Speaker 1>enjoy restaurants.
<v Speaker 3>And like if Nicole and I go grab like a
<v Speaker 3>little lunch date, like on a Friday or something, you know,
<v Speaker 3>it's it's easily seventy eighty bucks just for lunch at
<v Speaker 3>least at least and that's not even getting drinks.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then when you add drinks, it's well over
<v Speaker 1>one hundred dollars a family with your kids. No, No,
<v Speaker 1>it's crazy. It's definitely getting a lot more expensive. So
<v Speaker 1>hopefully something can come and relieve that. But as of
<v Speaker 1>right now, I mean, that headline was very shocking that
<v Speaker 1>it costs more to operate a restaurant here in Denver
<v Speaker 1>than in New York City. Absolutely insane. Westminster Public schools,
<v Speaker 1>so they figured out they're going to have to start
<v Speaker 1>consolidating some of these schools in the area, and happening
<v Speaker 1>all over the Metro. I mean we saw it and
<v Speaker 1>in Denver, Aurora had to consolidate some schools and they're
<v Speaker 1>saying a big reason birth rates are dropping, fewer students
<v Speaker 1>in the seats. So I mean it's really I saw
<v Speaker 1>something in the neighborhood I used to live in where
<v Speaker 1>so many people with kids. The kids were aging out,
<v Speaker 1>but they were hanging onto their houses. So then you
<v Speaker 1>because it's expensive to get new houses, right, so it's
<v Speaker 1>like they're hanging onto their houses. So all the schools
<v Speaker 1>in the area, nobody's bringing in new kids because everybody
<v Speaker 1>in that area has already had their kids and raised them,
<v Speaker 1>but they're sticking around.
<v Speaker 2>That's why my elementary school closed down.
<v Speaker 1>I know. Yeah, and again we're seeing it all over
<v Speaker 1>so Westminster the latest of the Metro public school at.
<v Speaker 2>People get out under all this shag man.
<v Speaker 1>Make some babies, get you some loving going on.
<v Speaker 3>There's going to be some major issues years down the
<v Speaker 3>road when there's not enough people.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, in the school. I mean, this is the first beginning.
<v Speaker 1>We're starting to see it with the schools having to you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, I should probably go out and have another baby, Jeremy,
<v Speaker 3>that's probably what I should go out just have multiple babies. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>that's probably I gotta go do my duty and get
<v Speaker 3>out there and have some babies.
<v Speaker 2>With some people. I think that's the best case scenario here.
<v Speaker 4>Take this, I go out and breed, preferably Sidney Sweeney.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta go get that. But you'll get her done.
<v Speaker 1>We'll get her done, and you know, we can all
<v Speaker 1>enjoy tomorrow morning, well as long as you get up
<v Speaker 1>early enough. The worm moon what goes on with the
<v Speaker 1>and a total lunar eclipse. So they call it the
<v Speaker 1>warm moon because it's when the earth worms start to
<v Speaker 1>you know, get going, get going, get going. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>when they start to you know, make a green. But
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow morning is when we'll really see this worm moon
<v Speaker 1>in the total lunar eclipse. It's starting out like two
<v Speaker 1>thirty in the morning, but we'll be able to see
<v Speaker 1>it between four thirty and five as well when we're
<v Speaker 1>coming into work. Finally, this early schedule pays off and
<v Speaker 1>we get to be, you know, spectators of the big
<v Speaker 1>old worm mood.
<v Speaker 3>Are you supposed to do anything spiritual or anything like that,
<v Speaker 3>because I know during various times of year, the solstice
<v Speaker 3>and whatnot, you got to dance around naked.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure.
<v Speaker 2>Can we do it? Like you gotta get on the
<v Speaker 2>ground and do the worm? I think you have to
<v Speaker 2>do it naked.
<v Speaker 1>Under the red moon. Maybe that'd be a great video.
<v Speaker 3>You want to do it tomorrow, nake, we'll strip down
<v Speaker 3>and do the worm. That's not gonna help birth rates
<v Speaker 3>because you smash your junk like crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I know exactly you want to do it at all.
<v Speaker 1>But it is going to look really cool. It's gonna
<v Speaker 1>have like that red tint to it because of the
<v Speaker 1>total lunar eclipse. So isn't it if you get out
<v Speaker 1>and see it right in.
<v Speaker 2>The next couple of Sunday, isn't it?
<v Speaker 1>Spring Forward? Yeah? I couldn't care.
<v Speaker 2>That's right, Katie, spring forward think.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's all right. Well, there you go, there
<v Speaker 1>you go, high hype. That's it.
<v Speaker 2>You guys, you're in the know.
