<v Speaker 1>have just told CM Punk that the ussos were from

<v Speaker 1>Saudi Arabia and not Samoan, then maybe he would have apologized,

<v Speaker 1>and then this all could have been avoided, because we

<v Speaker 1>know Saudi Arabia is very used to seem punk apologies.

<v Speaker 1>Of course, that's the greatest moment in John Cena's career

<v Speaker 1>was seeing CM Punk apologize in Saudi Arabia last year.

<v Speaker 1>This all could have been avoided. Roman Rains was not

<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. He's back on the show next week,

<v Speaker 1>as is brock Lesners. So we were without some of

<v Speaker 1>the bigger names tonight. So what they did in the

<v Speaker 1>closing segment was they tried to add another layer to

<v Speaker 1>this story between Punk and of course the big controversy

<v Speaker 1>coming out of Raw last week. At the end of

<v Speaker 1>the show was Punk making the comment about I'm going

<v Speaker 1>to bury you, and you're not going to be alone

<v Speaker 1>the way you've been alone lately, because your family, your

<v Speaker 1>cousins aren't with you anymore. Your wise man's not with you,

<v Speaker 1>the shield's not with you. But you won't be alone

<v Speaker 1>because I'm going to bury you next to your father. Right.

<v Speaker 1>He went low, And so this week the USSOS had

<v Speaker 1>an issue with that and they wanted to see him

<v Speaker 1>Punk to apologize. They wanted him to apologize for what

<v Speaker 1>he said last week, and Punk just could not bring

<v Speaker 1>himself to apologize. And it was actually, I thought, a

<v Speaker 1>very strong segment. I thought that one of the reasons

<v Speaker 1>it was very strong is because both sides you can

<v Speaker 1>see their perspective. Right, You could see where the USSOS

<v Speaker 1>would have a right to be upset with Punk over

<v Speaker 1>what he said. But also Punk made some good points

<v Speaker 1>in his promo as well tonight about why he shouldn't

<v Speaker 1>have to apologize. I have to apologize, but Roman has

<v Speaker 1>made comments before. Roman has dissed the Late American Dream,

<v Speaker 1>Dusty Rhoades, my mentor, Cody's dad. He doesn't have to

<v Speaker 1>apologize for that. But I have to apologize for what

<v Speaker 1>I said. And we got to see the ussos in

<v Speaker 1>a situation where we were actually seeing them in a

<v Speaker 1>serious way. This was not about running it back. This

<v Speaker 1>was not about anything. This is not about yeating, This

<v Speaker 1>is not about any of that. And so I thought

<v Speaker 1>it was effective because when Roman reigns is not on

<v Speaker 1>the show again, you're limited to what you can do.

<v Speaker 1>People want to see Roman in Punk. They don't want

<v Speaker 1>to see Punk in the ussos. They don't want to

<v Speaker 1>see Punk, you know, just looking into the camera. Roman's

<v Speaker 1>not here, So what do you do? So they're bringing

<v Speaker 1>into other family members into it, and I thought that

<v Speaker 1>was an interesting approach. I thought it was an effective

<v Speaker 1>approach to take. But it also leaves me wondering if

<v Speaker 1>we are going to see a reunion at the end

<v Speaker 1>of wrestle Meeting. Are they so devoid of ideas and

<v Speaker 1>so desperate to go back to the glory day of

<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty two and twenty twenty three that they are

<v Speaker 1>going to reunite the og bloodline? Is that what we

<v Speaker 1>are going to see at the close of WrestleMania this

<v Speaker 1>year certainly left you with that impression as a possibility

<v Speaker 1>could very well happen. That and the Judgment Day segment

<v Speaker 1>on tonight's show. Those are the two strongest segments on RAW.

<v Speaker 1>I feel like we have been waiting years, literally years

<v Speaker 1>for what we saw tonight. Finn Balor is one of

<v Speaker 1>the early members of the Judgment Days, not one of

<v Speaker 1>the OG members, but when Edge got kicked out, Finn

<v Speaker 1>Balor basically took his spot. And it's been Finn Balor

<v Speaker 1>and the Judgment Day now for years and years, and

<v Speaker 1>there have been teases now for a pat his long

<v Speaker 1>of discord I guess between Finn Balor and dominicque mysterio,

<v Speaker 1>and there have been teases up and down the show

<v Speaker 1>for the longest time now that things that were at

<v Speaker 1>some point going to go sideways with these two and

<v Speaker 1>either dom would get bound to Balor would get bounced tonight,

<v Speaker 1>it was Finn Balor. Last week when dominic lost his

<v Speaker 1>championship to Penta, that was the straw that broke the

<v Speaker 1>camel's back. Finn Balor has been excommunicated from the Judgment Day.

<v Speaker 1>He was beaten down by his family and that now

<v Speaker 1>paves the way for the obvious WrestleMania match. I don't know,

<v Speaker 1>maybe they want to for JD McDonnell in there, but

<v Speaker 1>the obvious match between Finn Balor and Dominic for WrestleMania.

<v Speaker 1>That seems to be where we are headed with that.

<v Speaker 1>It was a again a very effective angle I thought

<v Speaker 1>for what they were trying to do, and it was

<v Speaker 1>certainly a long time coming. So those were really the

<v Speaker 1>two big things on the show. We also had a

<v Speaker 1>gauntlet match that went for over twenty minutes to decide

<v Speaker 1>the number one contender for the Women's Intercontinental title. That

<v Speaker 1>match is going to be taking place next week. Bailey

<v Speaker 1>is getting a championship match. She's not winning a championship,

<v Speaker 1>but she is getting a championship match next week. And

<v Speaker 1>we had Penta's first defense of his Intercontinental title again

<v Speaker 1>El Grande Americano still stuck in the Americano Vortex. I

<v Speaker 1>feel like I had been watching some variation of this

<v Speaker 1>match now for almost a year. This is ridiculous. It

<v Speaker 1>has to stop, Like it just has to come to

<v Speaker 1>an end at some point, Like what are we doing here?

<v Speaker 1>Is there's no one else in the mid card on

<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw for this man to fight with. Please,

<v Speaker 1>I beg of you the surplus of talent they have

<v Speaker 1>in this company, and I just feel like I'm watching

<v Speaker 1>the same matches over and over again, only now Panta

<v Speaker 1>has a belt. The punk segment was strong. Like I said,

<v Speaker 1>the judgment day angle was very simple but effective. The

<v Speaker 1>rest of the show it just felt like it was there. Yeah,

<v Speaker 1>the rest of the show is just there. I'm still

<v Speaker 1>waiting for it to really I mean, outside of the

<v Speaker 1>punk and Roman stuff, I'm still waiting for it to

<v Speaker 1>feel like WrestleMania. I still don't get that feeling yet.

<v Speaker 1>so he presumes that Seth Rollins is somewhere in the building.

<v Speaker 1>So instead what we got and I lost track, It

<v Speaker 1>was at least a dozen. I think it was actually

<v Speaker 1>over a dozen. But we had about a dozen mass men.

<v Speaker 1>As if we haven't had enough of these now over

<v Speaker 1>the last few months. We had a dozen mass men

<v Speaker 1>who hoped the barricade and they're standing at rings side,

<v Speaker 1>And would you believe that simply for all of these

<v Speaker 1>masked men running out to the ring, the crowd burst

<v Speaker 1>into a chant of holy shit. This is what got

<v Speaker 1>a holy shit chant on this show. Think of all

<v Speaker 1>think think of all the things that you could chant

<v Speaker 1>holy shit for any given week on the show. This

<v Speaker 1>is what they chanted for. So again, if you are

<v Speaker 1>wondering what the meaning of these chants are at this

<v Speaker 1>point here in WWE, they don't really mean much. They

<v Speaker 1>really don't. When you start chanting holy shit for something

<v Speaker 1>like this, it means absolutely it has lost all meaning

<v Speaker 1>and all value. I'm sorry, this is the crap that

<v Speaker 1>gets a chant. Unbelievable. So then they got into the

<v Speaker 1>ring and I'm watching this and they start jumping around.

<v Speaker 1>made a comment about this, like the shell game. You

<v Speaker 1>know where you're now? I know the shell game from

<v Speaker 1>watching the Bob Barker version of The Prices right back

<v Speaker 1>I don't know if Drew Carey still does it on

<v Speaker 1>the modern version of the show. That was always one

<v Speaker 1>of my favorite games, Right, which cup is the is

<v Speaker 1>the ball under? You got to figure it out. That's

<v Speaker 1>what they were doing. They were jumping back and forth

<v Speaker 1>they were doing some sort of like jazzer size workout.

<v Speaker 1>looked completely ridiculous. And then the points here is that

<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins appeared. He was one of the mass Men.

<v Speaker 1>But they were trying to confuse. You know why they

<v Speaker 1>would be trying to confuse us or why they would

<v Speaker 1>be trying to confuse Adam Pierce, I have no idea,

<v Speaker 1>but there he was right. We found the mass man

<v Speaker 1>who was Seth Rollins. He pulled the mask off and

<v Speaker 1>it was Seth and he got a big pop. I'm

<v Speaker 1>not sure why any of this was necessary, and Adam

<v Speaker 1>Pierce basically said the same thing. He said that, look,

<v Speaker 1>you and I have known each other a long time.

<v Speaker 1>You didn't have to go through this whole charade here.

<v Speaker 1>So he told Rolins, look, you and I we see

<v Speaker 1>eya and that we're not fond of the Vision. Okay,

<v Speaker 1>we have that in common. But the mass men showing

<v Speaker 1>up and attacking every single week, this was unacceptable. So

<v Speaker 1>he said, Rollins, you're not medically cleared. He questioned what

<v Speaker 1>would happen if the members of the Vision got their

<v Speaker 1>hands on Seth? Right, the members of the Vision, like,

<v Speaker 1>we have two fucking members left of the Vision. Paul

<v Speaker 1>Hayman's been taken out, Seth Rollins is no longer part

<v Speaker 1>of the group, bron Breaker is hurt, Bronson Reid is hurt.

<v Speaker 1>The fuck are we even left with at this point?

<v Speaker 1>I don't think Seth Rollins is too worried about it.

<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul and Austin theory. Logan Paul who has been

<v Speaker 1>issuing challenges to boxing matches and then ducking said challenges.

<v Speaker 1>the ring without Paul Hayman, who was stomped last week,

<v Speaker 1>so he was not on the show, so they got

<v Speaker 1>up on the apron. Rollins put his mask on. This

<v Speaker 1>is the most ridiculous part of all this, puts his

<v Speaker 1>mask back on, and all of the other mass Men

<v Speaker 1>and join him in the ring again, and they all

<v Speaker 1>shuffle again, back and forth, back and forth to confuse

<v Speaker 1>the heels, so they don't know where Seth Rollins is.

<v Speaker 1>And then they all leave the ring and Rollins is gone.

<v Speaker 1>We don't know which mass Men he is, but they

<v Speaker 1>all vanish and they all disappear into the crowd. Rollins

<v Speaker 1>is nowhere to be found. You know, this reminds me

<v Speaker 1>of if you used to watch the Ninja Turtles cartoon

<v Speaker 1>or even the movie, the live action movies, when they

<v Speaker 1>would throw the I don't even know what it was,

<v Speaker 1>that white thing, that white ball or whatever. They would

<v Speaker 1>throw it down on the ground and then there would

<v Speaker 1>be like smoke everywhere so they can make their great escape.

<v Speaker 1>It's like that's what they were trying to accomplish here.

<v Speaker 1>It just looked completely ridiculous. So La Knight's the music hits,

<v Speaker 1>because of course it does. The vision is out there.

<v Speaker 1>We're not allowed to have an La Knight segment on

<v Speaker 1>the show unless the vision is involved comes to the

<v Speaker 1>ring to fight the vision. Stop me, if you've heard

<v Speaker 1>this before. I feel like you've heard me say that

<v Speaker 1>many many, many, many, many many many times over the

<v Speaker 1>last nine months. But he's back out there to fight

<v Speaker 1>the vision, and the heels got the better of him

<v Speaker 1>until Jay Usso's music hits, and so Jimmy and Jay

<v Speaker 1>they come out to help La Night clear the ring,

<v Speaker 1>or at least clear Austin theory from the ring. Yes,

<v Speaker 1>the smoke bomb. Thank you the smoke bomb so they

<v Speaker 1>could make their great escape. I think it would have

<v Speaker 1>been better if they would have just thrown You know

<v Speaker 1>why they should have thrown the smoke bomb down, because

<v Speaker 1>they all look like a bunch of fucking ninjas out there.

<v Speaker 1>Need I take you back to twenty twenty a very

<v Speaker 1>famous rant that I had here on one of these

<v Speaker 1>streams about ninjas. We went through a period of time

<v Speaker 1>about five or six years ago in WWE, If you

<v Speaker 1>weren't around back then, on these streams where they had

<v Speaker 1>like Vince McMahon had an obsession with ninjas. He clearly

<v Speaker 1>had seen some sort of movie. I don't know if

<v Speaker 1>it was the Ninja Turtle movie, but he saw some

<v Speaker 1>sort of ninja movie and he got the ID in

<v Speaker 1>his head. Do you know what this show is missing?

<v Speaker 1>It's missing ninjas. In every fucking week we would have

<v Speaker 1>ninjas on this show or people dressed up looking like them.

<v Speaker 1>And I think it was on that Extreme Rules. Oh God,

<v Speaker 1>their music for an uncomfortably long period of time before

<v Speaker 1>we finally just fad it's a commercial break. The seth

<v Speaker 1>Rollins stuff. It looked like something out of an episode

<v Speaker 1>of The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Okay, it was completely ridiculous,

<v Speaker 1>and whatever the idea was behind it, they need to stop,

<v Speaker 1>like they need to stop. Okay, he's back now. I

<v Speaker 1>don't know when he'll be medically cleared, but he's back.

<v Speaker 1>And the ninja stuff, you gotta wind that down. I'm sorry,

<v Speaker 1>I don't give a shit of these idiots or chanting

<v Speaker 1>holy shit or not like you got you gotta end this.

<v Speaker 1>It's just like I can't take him seriously, this is

<v Speaker 1>gonna be his new gimmick. I just I can't do it.

<v Speaker 1>I just can't do it. So after a commercial break,

<v Speaker 1>yes we need retrogue the Putties. Yes, that's what they were,

<v Speaker 1>the Power Rangers, Puddies. Seth Rollins has his own band

<v Speaker 1>of Putties on this show. I think the people who

<v Speaker 1>write these shows, I think their brain is made of putty,

<v Speaker 1>is what I'm starting to think. Jackie Redman was in

<v Speaker 1>the back. She caught up with the usos, who said

<v Speaker 1>that they got receipts to hand out, and she also

<v Speaker 1>asked Jay about Cmpunk's comments last week to Roman Reigns

<v Speaker 1>see she's an instigator, and Jay said, I got nothing

<v Speaker 1>to say to cm punk. But then Jimmy told them

<v Speaker 1>hold up, says maybe we do have something to say.

<v Speaker 1>So we didn't see them again until the closing segment,

<v Speaker 1>which was very interesting because Jay is the one who

<v Speaker 1>was blowing it off, like get we got nothing to say.

<v Speaker 1>He was gonna go leave, and Jimmy is the one

<v Speaker 1>who stopped him and said, actually, I think we actually

<v Speaker 1>might have something to say. But if you watch the

<v Speaker 1>closing segment, it was Jay who was all fired up

<v Speaker 1>and Jimmy was the calm one. It's kind of interesting.

<v Speaker 1>So after this, they began the Gauntlet match, and this

<v Speaker 1>was first shot at the Women's Intercontinental Champion. Aj Lee

<v Speaker 1>will be on the show in San Antonio next week

<v Speaker 1>defending her title. But who would it be against. Well,

<v Speaker 1>we're gonna find out here because the Gauntlet match. You

<v Speaker 1>know how a gauntlet works. We start with two and

<v Speaker 1>then we just keep going until all the members of

<v Speaker 1>the Gauntlet have come out and how their order of

<v Speaker 1>entry has decided. We were never told. It was kept

<v Speaker 1>a secret. Maybe they left it with the Ninjas. But

<v Speaker 1>we started with Lyra Valkeria and Eosky. So Eo countered

<v Speaker 1>out of a night wing attempt late in this fall

<v Speaker 1>into a standing double stomp right to the guts and

<v Speaker 1>she headed up top. She hit her over the moon

<v Speaker 1>Salt and she pinned Lyra to advance. And the time

<v Speaker 1>that they were in that, I mean they spent the

<v Speaker 1>first few minutes of the match in there together, you

<v Speaker 1>know whatever. The wrestling was solid, but she hits the

<v Speaker 1>moon Salt and she eliminates Lyra. There's no rest for

<v Speaker 1>the weary though, because number two into the gauntlet, Raquel

<v Speaker 1>Rodriguez EO tried her suicide dive, a crazy dive she

<v Speaker 1>does out through the through the ropes, and Raquel caught her.

<v Speaker 1>EO worked out of it, though, ended up getting taken

<v Speaker 1>down on the floor with a clothesline. So Raquel put

<v Speaker 1>her back in the ring and she caught her with

<v Speaker 1>the corkscrew Vader elbow as Michael Cole called it. Only

<v Speaker 1>got a two count. Then she caught EO with a

<v Speaker 1>shoulder tackle that was actually more like a pounce. I

<v Speaker 1>mean she pounced this woman halfway across the ring, and

<v Speaker 1>she pounced us right into the commercial break. So later

<v Speaker 1>on there was a missile dropkick that knocked Raquel down.

<v Speaker 1>We got the bullet train knees in the corner by EO.

<v Speaker 1>She heads up top. She's about to finish things off again.

<v Speaker 1>Liv Morgan comes out and she runs distraction here. But

<v Speaker 1>then we get a burst of pyro and here comes

<v Speaker 1>the women's world champion, Stephanie Vaquier to fight her off

<v Speaker 1>and off they go. So that distraction, though, was enough

<v Speaker 1>for EO to catch Raquel with an inside cradle, and

<v Speaker 1>she eliminates Raquel right around the ten minute mark here

<v Speaker 1>in this match, and that will not sit well I

<v Speaker 1>would imagine between Raquel and Li. But she reacted to

<v Speaker 1>this about as well as you would expect. She goes

<v Speaker 1>right after EO. She boots her out over the top

<v Speaker 1>rope to the floor. Then she lawn darts her into

<v Speaker 1>the ring post and then or the ring post casing

<v Speaker 1>and then delivers a tehanabamb on the apron. So now

<v Speaker 1>EO is dead. She is lying dead outside on the floor.

<v Speaker 1>Here comes Ivy Nile. She runs down to the ring.

<v Speaker 1>She doesn't waste any time. She puts EO inside and

<v Speaker 1>immediately hooks the leg and covers her and she pins

<v Speaker 1>EO sky. Ivy Nile eliminates Eosky from the Gauntlet match,

<v Speaker 1>and Ivy's arms I will say she was looking jacked,

<v Speaker 1>as jacked as I've ever seen her. She's like flexing

<v Speaker 1>her biceps and everything. So that's a big elimination right there.

<v Speaker 1>Bailey was out next, and she went to go check

<v Speaker 1>on EO at ringside when Ivy attacked her from behind

<v Speaker 1>and we went to another commer. She'll break you know,

<v Speaker 1>it's hard to believe that was a WrestleMania match for

<v Speaker 1>the Championship two years ago. We had EO Sky against Bailey.

<v Speaker 1>So there was a nice delayed vertical supplex by Ivy

<v Speaker 1>where she had Bailey up probably for a good fifteen

<v Speaker 1>seconds and then dropped her. Then she delivered a superplex

<v Speaker 1>where Bailey's ass looked like it hit the map before

<v Speaker 1>her her back did. Even Michael Cole, he said that

<v Speaker 1>was a weird landing. Bailey made a comeback hit the

<v Speaker 1>Bailey to belly and she scored the pin. So thanks

<v Speaker 1>for coming, Ivy Nile. You know, once I realized that

<v Speaker 1>this was a gauntlet match, because when I talked about

<v Speaker 1>and Ivy is not pushed, or why is she in

<v Speaker 1>there if she's not going to get the surprise win?

<v Speaker 1>And then I said, oh shit, it's a gauntlet match, Like,

<v Speaker 1>there ain't no fucking way she's winning a gauntlet match.

<v Speaker 1>But she did eliminate so that's that's something. At least.

<v Speaker 1>Oscar was the next to the last entrant entering with

<v Speaker 1>Kyrie Sane. Bailey, though shot out of the ring like

<v Speaker 1>a cannon with a forearm shot right to Oscar's jaw.

<v Speaker 1>Ahead of the commercial break, they showed a slow mo

<v Speaker 1>replay of it and it looked great. So there was

<v Speaker 1>another Bailey to belly later in the match. The fans

<v Speaker 1>bit on it because she had just used it as

<v Speaker 1>a finish earlier. This time, though, Oscar kicked out, so

<v Speaker 1>Oscar distracted the referee later on, so that would allow

<v Speaker 1>Kyrie to do a number on Bailey outside the ring

<v Speaker 1>before she kind of roars back and before she could

<v Speaker 1>actually throw a punch, Lyra Valkyria throws in from or

<v Speaker 1>flies in rather from off camera and delivers a shotgun

<v Speaker 1>drop kick, just drop kick Kyrie right into the side

<v Speaker 1>of the ring. Back inside, Bailey tried her diving elbow Oscar.

<v Speaker 1>They'll caught her on the way down into an Oscar lock,

<v Speaker 1>which looked kind of cool. Bailey, though countered out of

<v Speaker 1>into a pin attempt. The referee would not count because

<v Speaker 1>Oscar's shoulders were up, so Bailey picked her up and

<v Speaker 1>instead dropped her with a rose plant, and she pinned

<v Speaker 1>Osca to win the gauntlet match she has. Bailey is

<v Speaker 1>the number one contender now for the Intercontinental title, and

<v Speaker 1>Oscar was not happy with Kyrie about this. She's never

<v Speaker 1>happy with Kyrie. But this means that Bailey will now

<v Speaker 1>challenge a Jay Lee next Monday night in San Antonio.

<v Speaker 1>I mean it was fine. I mean, we've had gauntlet

<v Speaker 1>matches on the show before. This was not one of

<v Speaker 1>the better ones, not one of the more memorable ones.

<v Speaker 1>It's an easy way to eat up television time. You know,

<v Speaker 1>they killed about twenty two minutes or so with this gauntlet.

<v Speaker 1>If anything, I actually thought, honestly, I'm sure it's not

<v Speaker 1>going to lead to anything, but I thought Ivy and

<v Speaker 1>Ile looked good. Ivy Nil actually got to eliminated EO.

<v Speaker 1>The delayed vertical suit Plex was a nice spot there.

<v Speaker 1>She had some time to go on a string of offense,

<v Speaker 1>and she looked as good in the race on this

<v Speaker 1>show as we've probably ever seen her, because doesn't get

<v Speaker 1>a lot of time on the show to begin with.

<v Speaker 1>I just wish, you know, if they were going to

<v Speaker 1>give somebody that spot that it would lead somewhere. It

<v Speaker 1>will lead absolutely, I guarantee you it will lead absolutely nowhere.

<v Speaker 1>But I thought if anybody had the best showing here,

<v Speaker 1>it might have been Ivy to be perfectly honest with you,

<v Speaker 1>But here's the bigger question. What the hell are they

<v Speaker 1>doing with EO Sky or WrestleMania. That's what I would

<v Speaker 1>like to know the sense that I get coming out

<v Speaker 1>of this, and maybe not, maybe it was a one

<v Speaker 1>night thing, but you watch this and it makes you

<v Speaker 1>think that EO. Sky and Raquel Rodriguez are going to

<v Speaker 1>have a singles match at WrestleMania now if they have

<v Speaker 1>nothing better for them to do. And look, I like Raquel,

<v Speaker 1>I love Leo. I mean, great for them if they

<v Speaker 1>get a spot on the show in that situation, But

<v Speaker 1>is that a WrestleMania match that feels like a Monday

<v Speaker 1>night row match? Are they really going to do that

<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania? What other conclusion are you left to draw

<v Speaker 1>coming out of this show as far as what EO's

<v Speaker 1>role on that show is going to be, I don't know.

<v Speaker 1>I really don't know, But to not have a defined

<v Speaker 1>role for someone like EO's Sky, especially when you look

<v Speaker 1>back at WrestleMania last year. She went into that show

<v Speaker 1>as the champion. She came out of that show as

<v Speaker 1>the champion. She had what, in my opinion, was the

<v Speaker 1>WWE match of the year, and I had it as

<v Speaker 1>my overall match of the year. And she has no

<v Speaker 1>obvious clear path to WrestleMania right now. Rhea Ripley won

<v Speaker 1>the Elimination Chamber. Hea Ripley is wrestling Jade Cargill. We

<v Speaker 1>know that already. That takes EO out of the tag

<v Speaker 1>team scene. What does that leave her with? I would

<v Speaker 1>love to see EO and Oscar one on one. They

<v Speaker 1>did nothing though, in this Gauntlet match to even tease

<v Speaker 1>the possibility that that was a match they were looking at,

<v Speaker 1>So I'm left to wonder, what the hell what are

<v Speaker 1>they going to do with her? I really hope we

<v Speaker 1>get EO and Osca, And like the idea that I

<v Speaker 1>was thinking of is like, Okay, where do all these

<v Speaker 1>pieces fit EO against Osca? Kyrie doesn't have to wrestle,

<v Speaker 1>but Kyrie will be a very important part of that story.

<v Speaker 1>Or maybe Kyrie will finally kind of break free from

<v Speaker 1>the chains of Osca WrestleMania and it takes you know,

<v Speaker 1>EO and EO beating Oscar to help make that happen.

<v Speaker 1>I think you can tell that story, but there was

<v Speaker 1>no indication of that at all on this show. Short

<v Speaker 1>of that. I really I have no idea. I have

<v Speaker 1>no idea what else you would do logically with EO

<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. And it would be a sin for them

<v Speaker 1>not to have something meaningful for her to do on

<v Speaker 1>that show. She's one of the best. They have Triple

<v Speaker 1>h every time he talks about her. You watch, you know,

<v Speaker 1>unreally glows about her. Man if God forbids something ever

<v Speaker 1>happened to the roster. If you told me I had

<v Speaker 1>EO Sky, I know I'd be Okay. That's high praise

<v Speaker 1>coming from the guy who's running the show. You would

<v Speaker 1>think that, you know, he would have a better role

<v Speaker 1>for her, And right now it's not really well defined.

<v Speaker 1>So we got to work on that now. After this,

<v Speaker 1>they replayed highlights from last week's segment show closing segment

<v Speaker 1>with Roman reigns the Cmpunk and Punk telling Roman I'm

<v Speaker 1>going to bury you next to your father, And they

<v Speaker 1>said that Punk would be here live tonight. Now I

<v Speaker 1>have no idea why they did not mention this in

<v Speaker 1>the preview for the show. Yeah, I put the preview

<v Speaker 1>together here for the stream early like three o'clock, four o'clock,

<v Speaker 1>They announced three things for tonight's show. They announced the

<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental title match, They announced the Gauntlet, and what else

<v Speaker 1>did they announced? They announced it was one other thing

<v Speaker 1>they announce. I forgot what the other thing was, oh

<v Speaker 1>Obafemi and Russev and that was it. And they were

<v Speaker 1>without some of their heavy hitters, right, Roman was not

<v Speaker 1>on the show. Aj Lee was not on the show.

<v Speaker 1>Brock was not on the show. You would think that

<v Speaker 1>they would let you know that the World heavyweight Champion

<v Speaker 1>CM Punk was going to be on the show, and

<v Speaker 1>it was no mention of Punk anywhere in the preview.

<v Speaker 1>It was just very odd to me because I remember

<v Speaker 1>looking at the preview going, this can't be it, and

<v Speaker 1>there was no mention of Punk, but they indicated he

<v Speaker 1>would be here later on in the show. I don't

<v Speaker 1>know why you wouldn't advertise that, but that's what they did.

<v Speaker 1>So after commercial break, they aired the very end, the

<v Speaker 1>highlights of the very end of the promo than Natty did.

<v Speaker 1>During the commercial break, she was being interviewed by Byron

<v Speaker 1>Saxon on the stage and at the very end of

<v Speaker 1>her promo she mentioned Maxine Dupre by name, and she

<v Speaker 1>got blasted by Maxine from behind and that was it.

<v Speaker 1>Then it was backstage where og Americano was walking when

<v Speaker 1>he was confronted by Dan Housen, who played a pivotal

<v Speaker 1>role last week if you remember, before the ic title

<v Speaker 1>match on last week's show, and Dan Housen noticed that

<v Speaker 1>Americano wore a mask and he had a great idea

<v Speaker 1>he could wear a mask also, and then he wanted

<v Speaker 1>to try Gables on and Gable told him rule numero uno,

<v Speaker 1>you don't touch a luchador's mask. He says he has

<v Speaker 1>no time for this because he has a championship match

<v Speaker 1>coming up next. So he told dan Hausen to leave,

<v Speaker 1>and Dan Housen said, you want me to leave, do

<v Speaker 1>you want Dan Housen to put a curse on you?

<v Speaker 1>So Dan house and he put a curse on him,

<v Speaker 1>and then of course Gable turned and when he turned back,

<v Speaker 1>dan Housen was gone. So basically, Dan Housen has become

<v Speaker 1>the resident spoiler on this show. That is now his

<v Speaker 1>role here on WWE television. If he curses you right

<v Speaker 1>before a match, you already know the outcome before the

<v Speaker 1>match even happens. Only in this case, he never even

<v Speaker 1>made it out to the ring. Supposed to get Penta

<v Speaker 1>defending the Intercontinental Championship for the first time after his

<v Speaker 1>win over Dom last week against og Americana, that was

<v Speaker 1>the scheduled bench didn't work out that way. Thankfully, they

<v Speaker 1>gave Penta some promo time. I was kind of hoping

<v Speaker 1>they would do this. You know, he won the title

<v Speaker 1>last week and I saw that video. I don't know

<v Speaker 1>if it was from this past week or if maybe

<v Speaker 1>the video was a couple of weeks old. The video

<v Speaker 1>of him meeting that little kid in the Penta mask

<v Speaker 1>backstage at one of the events. That was a really

<v Speaker 1>cool video, Like when he shows up and you see

<v Speaker 1>and the kid turns and realizes that the real Penta

<v Speaker 1>is there and that he literally gasps. This kid's gotta

<v Speaker 1>be like four or five years old, and he gasps

<v Speaker 1>like he's in awe, he can't believe it, and then

<v Speaker 1>you know pent is talking to him and it's like

<v Speaker 1>it's really really cool. So anyway, I was hoping they

<v Speaker 1>would make, you know, a bigger deal about this by

<v Speaker 1>letting him get some promo time, because I remember when

<v Speaker 1>he first joined the company, I think his first night,

<v Speaker 1>and he beat Chad Gable funny enough, and then he

<v Speaker 1>got to cut a promo in the ring, and I'm like, man,

<v Speaker 1>this is a really good promo. Obviously, you know, English

<v Speaker 1>is not his first language, but you know, he can

<v Speaker 1>speak it, and he just resonates with the audience in

<v Speaker 1>a way that not everybody does. He's you know, he's

<v Speaker 1>obviously very charismatic. He's got this physical charisma about him,

<v Speaker 1>and this energy and this intensity about him, and the

<v Speaker 1>people just like him. And so I you know, I'm like,

<v Speaker 1>he won the championship, we should hear from him. So

<v Speaker 1>he takes the mic and he thanks his family, he

<v Speaker 1>thanks his friends, all of his fans around the world,

<v Speaker 1>thanks to everyone who believed in him. And he thanked

<v Speaker 1>himself like a heel because he believes in himself every

<v Speaker 1>single day. So of course, well I thank myself every

<v Speaker 1>single day too. So he goes this title is not

<v Speaker 1>just for Penta, It's for everyone who never gives up.

<v Speaker 1>Because Pentet, well, then Johnson is not included, but he

<v Speaker 1>got there. She is I was wondering, very upset about

<v Speaker 1>her loss earlier. She is calling for Kyrie is Oscar

<v Speaker 1>You just look at him and you know it's very clear.

<v Speaker 1>This is not the og. This is El Grande Kaiser

<v Speaker 1>coming to the ring. And Penter realized it as well.

<v Speaker 1>He was complaining to the referee about it, and they

<v Speaker 1>went to commercial, so when they came back, they joined

<v Speaker 1>the match already in progress. Michael Cole said the original

<v Speaker 1>Elgrande Americana was scheduled, but he didn't know what happened

<v Speaker 1>to him. And then ahead of another break, Penta had

<v Speaker 1>teased a dive through the ropes, but as he went

<v Speaker 1>to go through the ropes, he got blasted in the

<v Speaker 1>face with a forearm shot, so he tumbled out of

<v Speaker 1>the ring. He hit the apron and went to the floor,

<v Speaker 1>and it didn't look like anything out of the ordinary

<v Speaker 1>in terms of the bump that he took, but he

<v Speaker 1>was immediately grabbing his lower back, so Kaiser goes over

<v Speaker 1>to go clearly he was trying to pick him up,

<v Speaker 1>and Penta communicated something to him like he might be hurt,

<v Speaker 1>so Kaiser left him alone and they took the camera

<v Speaker 1>off Penta. The camera followed Kaiser around to where the

<v Speaker 1>little podium they had the IC title on it, and

<v Speaker 1>he's posing next to it like everybody poses next to

<v Speaker 1>the Andre the Giant memorial statue, and they went to

<v Speaker 1>a commercial and I'm just thinking, man, I really hope.

<v Speaker 1>I really hope he's not hurt. They can ill afford

<v Speaker 1>another one of these injuries right now, but boy would

<v Speaker 1>that suck. Thankfully, when they came back, Penta seemed okay,

<v Speaker 1>maybe he just tweaked it. So Americano came off the

<v Speaker 1>middle rope late in the match, Penta caught him with

<v Speaker 1>a code Breaker and he followed that with a Mexican

<v Speaker 1>Destroyer for the win to retain the championship. Now I

<v Speaker 1>want to just say this first, this is not a

<v Speaker 1>knock on Penta. I love Penta. This is not a

<v Speaker 1>knock on Kaiser. I think he's very talented. I think

<v Speaker 1>the gimmick works very well for him, more so in

<v Speaker 1>Triple A than it does here in the States on

<v Speaker 1>the main roster. Why am I still watching Penta wrestling

<v Speaker 1>El Grande Americano in March of twenty twenty six, because

<v Speaker 1>this man has been stuck in the Americano vortex for months.

<v Speaker 1>If you go back even before the Americano bullshit, and

<v Speaker 1>you go back to when Penta first debuted at the

<v Speaker 1>beginning of last year. He wrestled Chad Gable in his

<v Speaker 1>first match, and then he had matches with Ludwig Kaiser

<v Speaker 1>when he was still Ludwig Kai. Here we are and

<v Speaker 1>I am still watching him in the ring wrestling Gable

<v Speaker 1>and wrestling Kaiser with this stupid gimmick every single week.

<v Speaker 1>It feels like, why is there no one else in

<v Speaker 1>the mid cart on this show for this man to

<v Speaker 1>be working with. Now he has a championship, but it's

<v Speaker 1>the same song. They added a new lyric, but it's

<v Speaker 1>the same fucking song. Why do I feel like I

<v Speaker 1>am when I watched this show? Why do I feel

<v Speaker 1>like I am watching the same matches over and over

<v Speaker 1>and over again like a bad mo I don't understand this.

<v Speaker 1>This has to stop, This has to stop. And also,

<v Speaker 1>you know, I will say this not just getting him

<v Speaker 1>out of the Americano vortex, but this whole like the

<v Speaker 1>whole Americano thing. And again, my hope is that they're

<v Speaker 1>gonna blow this thing off of WrestleMania as far as

<v Speaker 1>like between the two of them. They're actually doing a

<v Speaker 1>match next week between Americana one and Americano two, But

<v Speaker 1>my guess is they're gonna stretch this out to Mania

<v Speaker 1>and do a mask match on that show, and I

<v Speaker 1>hope to god the Gable loses and we can get

<v Speaker 1>beyond this for him, because I'm sick and tired of

<v Speaker 1>this too. But the Pentus stuff with the American like,

<v Speaker 1>you gotta stop. Seriously, this is fucking garbage at this point. Please,

<v Speaker 1>for the love of God, I want Penta to go

<v Speaker 1>on to have a fruitful rain is the Intercontinental Champion.

<v Speaker 1>him to elevate that title in a way that Dominic

<v Speaker 1>they had English subtitles and they played this over footage

<v Speaker 1>when she was training to become a wrestler. Talking about

<v Speaker 1>she said she sees more in Live than Live season herself.

<v Speaker 1>the ring he went and it was dom it was live,

<v Speaker 1>it was Raquel. He demanded a rematch with Penta and

<v Speaker 1>the crab booed says, we all know whose fault it

<v Speaker 1>is that he lost, And I was like Dan Hausen,

<v Speaker 1>it was Dan Hausen's fault, because no, it was Finn

<v Speaker 1>Balor's fault. He didn't want to do this out here.

<v Speaker 1>And the fans booed, but he said, you see, I

<v Speaker 1>was trying to teach you a lesson. Judgment Day is

<v Speaker 1>a family. We're always going to be family. We're always

<v Speaker 1>going to have your back. Dom told him that, you know,

<v Speaker 1>he wants to be the greatest mysterio of all time.

<v Speaker 1>looking at Gargano and then he just kind of up

<v Speaker 1>and delivers this overhead kick and kicks. I think it

<v Speaker 1>was Johnny right in the head. So that's what he

<v Speaker 1>did here. McDonough then got Balor in the corner. He's

<v Speaker 1>trying to talk to him as Dom comes in and

<v Speaker 1>Baler takes him down with a sling blade, so he

<v Speaker 1>backs up into the corner. He's setting up for that

<v Speaker 1>shotgun dropkick that he does. As Balor comes in, though JD.

<v Speaker 1>McDonough takes his head off with a clothesline and they

<v Speaker 1>all look at each other and live Morgan just pounces

<v Speaker 1>on Balor and she's, you know, throwing punches at him,

<v Speaker 1>and then Raquel joins in and she starts kicking Balor,

<v Speaker 1>and then McDonough and Dom they start putting the boots

<v Speaker 1>to Baler and then it becomes very clear that this

<v Speaker 1>is the big angle that we've been waiting for so

<v Speaker 1>long for, right how long have we been waiting and

<v Speaker 1>speculating on when something like this was going to happen.

<v Speaker 1>So they're all put the boots to him. Dom goes

<v Speaker 1>to retrieve a steel chair and the ring bell hammer

<v Speaker 1>from outside. He brings it inside. Balor starts to fight back. Dom, though,

<v Speaker 1>smashes him right in the face with the hammer. Then

<v Speaker 1>he shoved the hammer into his sneaker and McDonough sends

<v Speaker 1>Baler up in the ropes in position for a sixty

<v Speaker 1>one nine, and Dom delivers a sixty one nine, sending

<v Speaker 1>the hammer once again into Baler's face. So then they

<v Speaker 1>celebrating in the ring together as Finn Balor lays there dead. Finally,

<v Speaker 1>finally we got some real movement with the Judgment Day,

<v Speaker 1>and now we can begin to build to Finn Balor

<v Speaker 1>and Dominic Mysterio or some variation of that again, potentially

<v Speaker 1>maybe even involving JD McDonough, but probably Balor and dom

<v Speaker 1>one on one at WrestleMania. My guess is we get

<v Speaker 1>Balor and dom and Balor is going to enter as

<v Speaker 1>the Demon because they'll they'll think bringing back the Demon

<v Speaker 1>is going to be a big deal and they can

<v Speaker 1>make money off the Demon. That's probably what we'll end

<v Speaker 1>up getting at Wrestlemaniam Finn Balor is now back to

<v Speaker 1>being a babyface. Now we shouldn't be surprised by this

<v Speaker 1>because not just because we're heading into WrestleMania, but because

<v Speaker 1>the stuff with CM Punk is what set this up.

<v Speaker 1>He had the match in Belfast with Punk. They had

<v Speaker 1>a good match when it was over right, they kind

<v Speaker 1>of paid respect to each other. That bothered Live Morgan.

<v Speaker 1>What do you do in palette around and listening to

<v Speaker 1>CM Punk. CM Punk was trying to tell Balor, look,

<v Speaker 1>you don't need these guys, you don't need these idiots,

<v Speaker 1>and that didn't Live Morgan very happy. So then Balor,

<v Speaker 1>of course, he attacked Punk again after that. That's why

<v Speaker 1>we got the rematched elimination chamber in the same thing.

<v Speaker 1>When the match was over, Balor lost and they shook

<v Speaker 1>hands and showed respect to one another. So the seeds

<v Speaker 1>were already being planted for this to happen, right the

<v Speaker 1>Balor baby face turn. We could see this coming for

<v Speaker 1>at least a couple of months now. So it's a

<v Speaker 1>very simple angle. I mean, it's not like we haven't

<v Speaker 1>seen these types of angles before. It was simple, but

<v Speaker 1>it was effective and it gets us now to where

<v Speaker 1>we need to be. And I guess the question now

<v Speaker 1>is as far as the future of the Judgment Day

<v Speaker 1>is concerned, do they end up adding a new member.

<v Speaker 1>I don't think they're going to end the Judgment Day

<v Speaker 1>anytime soon. I mean I thought about, you know, would

<v Speaker 1>they because Balor's out Raquel it feels like she's not

<v Speaker 1>long for the Judgment Day and then you're down to

<v Speaker 1>live and Dom and JD. I don't think they want

<v Speaker 1>to end the Judgment Day. And I'm not sure if

<v Speaker 1>I were them, I would want to end the Judgment

<v Speaker 1>Day either, because it's weird, like as tiresome as it

<v Speaker 1>sometimes feels, the Judgment Day has actually been, and we

<v Speaker 1>know how effective the bloodline was right. It's shining a

<v Speaker 1>light on Jay Usso and Sammy Zain when he was

<v Speaker 1>part of the group and introducing Solo so CoA right.

<v Speaker 1>It was a very important faction as far as character

<v Speaker 1>building and getting other people over other than just Roman

<v Speaker 1>Reigns other members of the family. The Judgment Day has

<v Speaker 1>introduced us to a lot of new personalities as well.

<v Speaker 1>And the Judgment Day is what really helped Damien Priest

<v Speaker 1>and Rhea Ripley, and it put Finn Valor in a

<v Speaker 1>position where he could be featured in a way that

<v Speaker 1>he wasn't being featured and then Live Morgan eventually join

<v Speaker 1>went from Rhea and Dom to Dom and Live and

<v Speaker 1>it has been very effective at getting certain people screen

<v Speaker 1>time and getting them over in a way that frankly,

<v Speaker 1>they would not have been able to get over on

<v Speaker 1>their own. JD McDonough would not be in the position

<v Speaker 1>he's in right now. And again I'm not making a

<v Speaker 1>selling he's a main but even just the position that

<v Speaker 1>he's in, he would not be in that position right

<v Speaker 1>now if it wasn't for him being a part of

<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day. Raquel Rodriguez, remember when Raquel was a

<v Speaker 1>babyface and she was coming out on TV, and her

<v Speaker 1>big thing was smile for the camera and then flex

<v Speaker 1>your back right, flex your back, show your back muscles.

<v Speaker 1>And that's all she was. What am I supposed to

<v Speaker 1>cheer for? What am I supposed to get behind? There?

<v Speaker 1>Plain Jane, and she goes heel. She joins the Judgment Day.

<v Speaker 1>And the thing with the Judgment Day is they get

<v Speaker 1>so many segments on this show every single week, multiple segments.

<v Speaker 1>So I would probably just cycle in and out new

<v Speaker 1>members and try to do the same thing with some

<v Speaker 1>other people that they've done with people like the ones

<v Speaker 1>I just mentioned and try to help get them over.

<v Speaker 1>I even said, and I don't know if this, I

<v Speaker 1>don't think this is what they have in mind. But

<v Speaker 1>even someone like Dan Hausen, you know, I could see

<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen even being loosely affiliated with the Judgment Day.

<v Speaker 1>I guess right now he's doing his own thing, going

<v Speaker 1>from show to show. But you know, I think you

<v Speaker 1>just got to look at the roster and look at

<v Speaker 1>some potential NXT call ups and figure out who do

<v Speaker 1>you think would best benefit by being plugged into the

<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day. You know, as you know, members come and go.

<v Speaker 1>Balor's out. Now do they replace him with someone? And

<v Speaker 1>if so, who is that person? Yeah? I keep thinking

<v Speaker 1>about Ethan Page because he recently lost his championship North

<v Speaker 1>American Championship, and I think the Triple A mixtag belts

<v Speaker 1>as well. And there's talk that now he's going to

<v Speaker 1>be wrestling, he's gonna be part of the NXT championship picture,

<v Speaker 1>and it's like, man, this guy's been an NXT for

<v Speaker 1>over two years now, Like, are they ever going to

<v Speaker 1>call him up to the main roster. I still maintain

<v Speaker 1>there's stuff you could do with him and Chelsea on SmackDown,

<v Speaker 1>But I do think that someone like him could even benefit,

<v Speaker 1>you know, from being like the new de facto leader

<v Speaker 1>of the Judgment day. But I mean could be here

<v Speaker 1>all day. There's any number of people you could plug

<v Speaker 1>into that spot, So it probably makes sense for them

<v Speaker 1>to continue it. I'm just not sure exactly who they

<v Speaker 1>would have in mind for it. But we got to

<v Speaker 1>start thinking about new members because I don't think Balor

<v Speaker 1>is going to be the only one going away. I

<v Speaker 1>think Raquel is going to be following soon. Backstage, Adam

<v Speaker 1>Pierce was talking to Javon Evans and praising him and

<v Speaker 1>you know his participation recently in the elimination chamber, and

<v Speaker 1>he told him, enjoy the rest of your week. He's

<v Speaker 1>he doesn't have to do it alone. So Javon Evans

<v Speaker 1>has something to think about. Javon Evans has to give

<v Speaker 1>some thought to whether or not he wants to join

<v Speaker 1>what has become a Jobber faction here on this show

<v Speaker 1>that barely gets any actual television time. They spend most

<v Speaker 1>of their time talking and appearing and doing stuff and

<v Speaker 1>cutting promos during the commercial breaks on this show, and

<v Speaker 1>not actually wrestling and doing really anything of note on

<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw itself. So, man, what a tough decision

<v Speaker 1>that's going to be for Javon Evans to make. There

<v Speaker 1>was a point in time where, Hey, joining the New

<v Speaker 1>Day would have been huge for Javon Evans. I think

<v Speaker 1>joining the New Day now would be more of a

<v Speaker 1>detriment than anything else today's career. Speaking of factions, by

<v Speaker 1>the way that just have gone on and on forever

<v Speaker 1>and probably should be put to put to bed, I

<v Speaker 1>think we could probably do that with The New Day

<v Speaker 1>at this point. Elsewhere, Jackie Redman is with Bailey and

<v Speaker 1>Lyra Valkyrie. She says that Bailey will challenge aj Lee

<v Speaker 1>next week, and Bailey thanked Lyra for being there for her.

<v Speaker 1>Bailey says, it's going to be an honor to step

<v Speaker 1>in the ring with one of her best friends, and

<v Speaker 1>it's a title that she hasn't been able to win yet.

<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental title on the podium. Even though aj Lee is

<v Speaker 1>the champion and she was not there tonight, they had

<v Speaker 1>her title so they could put it on the podium

<v Speaker 1>even though aj was not there. That was very weird.

<v Speaker 1>I agree. We had Obafemi against Russev, a rare Russev

<v Speaker 1>match here on Monday Night Raw. All he wanted to

<v Speaker 1>do when he left AEW was work. He left because

<v Speaker 1>he just wanted to go out there and wrestle. He's

<v Speaker 1>wrestling right now for WWE about as much as he

<v Speaker 1>was wrestling for AW, maybe slightly more. He got, Hey,

<v Speaker 1>you got three minutes of match time tonight. That's something, right, Hey,

<v Speaker 1>Russev got knocked outside, he got sent into the steps.

<v Speaker 1>He ended up bouncing Oba though off the post head first.

<v Speaker 1>So Rusev then hit a Machka kick that sent Oba

<v Speaker 1>backwards onto the announced desk. Back inside, Oba made a comeback.

<v Speaker 1>He tossed Rusev halfway across the ring and then he

<v Speaker 1>hit the fall from Grace for the quick, decisive win

<v Speaker 1>in about three minutes. Not much else to say about this.

<v Speaker 1>It was exactly what it needed to be. It was

<v Speaker 1>a quick, dominant win for Oba Femi, and this time

<v Speaker 1>it wasn't against kit Wilson. It was against someone that

<v Speaker 1>has a little more size on him, is a little

<v Speaker 1>bit tougher than Kit Wilson, and he got beaten three minutes.

<v Speaker 1>And I can only hope that this is again building

<v Speaker 1>to the obvious WrestleMania match here. I talked about it

<v Speaker 1>last week, talked about it again on Sunday. It's a

<v Speaker 1>there's a very clever, simple way to get to Obafemi

<v Speaker 1>in Brock Lesner. Right, you have this outstanding open challenge.

<v Speaker 1>Who's going to accept the open challenge? And Brock's gonna

<v Speaker 1>be on the show a few times this month, doesn't

<v Speaker 1>have to be next week, could be again. They're at

<v Speaker 1>Madison Square Garden later this month, could be there. They

<v Speaker 1>want to do something special in New York. But man,

<v Speaker 1>you know, you gotta do something with Dan Housen and

<v Speaker 1>brock Lesner, Right, we need some brock Housen humor. And

<v Speaker 1>Brock would even laugh it off like he's done before

<v Speaker 1>with our truth. Right, And what has Dan Housen been

<v Speaker 1>doing when people disrespect him, right, he puts a curse

<v Speaker 1>on them. He puts a curse on brock Lesner. Then

<v Speaker 1>coming out to accept the open challenge. And now you've

<v Speaker 1>got a few weeks to promote this as a big

<v Speaker 1>wrestle many a match, right, don't wait until media, right,

<v Speaker 1>do it in the next few weeks. But that's how

<v Speaker 1>you get Dan House. It worked in there, like just

<v Speaker 1>the sight of Dan Housen sharing a ring with Brock

<v Speaker 1>Lesnie was so ludicrous that you can't help but laugh.

<v Speaker 1>But then Brock won't be laughing when Obafemi comes out, Right,

<v Speaker 1>that's the power of the curse. There you go. They

<v Speaker 1>clearly they want the curse to mean something. Well, that's

<v Speaker 1>how you use the curse. And so to close the show,

<v Speaker 1>we got the World Heavyweight Champion CM punk out to

<v Speaker 1>the ring. He was a little unsure, he said, what

<v Speaker 1>the reaction to him was going to be after last weeks.

<v Speaker 1>He was very happy to get cheered by the fans

<v Speaker 1>here in Seattle, and then he asked them, how about

<v Speaker 1>them Seahawks. Now he's trying too hard, but they all

<v Speaker 1>chanted Seahawks. He goes, there's some people upset over something

<v Speaker 1>that he said last week, that it was respectful. One

<v Speaker 1>thing he knows is that Roman Reigns has never respected

<v Speaker 1>him once his entire career, but he will force him

<v Speaker 1>to respect the position that he holds. He says, championships

<v Speaker 1>are made to find out who the best is, and

<v Speaker 1>those best go on to defend their titles. This title

<v Speaker 1>here was created, and I like that he made this

<v Speaker 1>point actually because this is actually very true. This title

<v Speaker 1>was created because Roman Reigns shunned his championship responsibilities and

<v Speaker 1>he refused to defend his titles. If you remember when

<v Speaker 1>Roman was in the middle of that forever run that

<v Speaker 1>he had very rarely would we see him. On Monday Night, Raw,

<v Speaker 1>he was walking around with both belts after he had

<v Speaker 1>basically unified them at WrestleMania thirty eight, and Raw had

<v Speaker 1>no champion. For all intents and purposes, Raw had no champion.

<v Speaker 1>That was the whole genesis of the of the current

<v Speaker 1>version of the World Heavyweight Championship was because Roman Reigns

<v Speaker 1>wasn't around and they needed something to fight for on

<v Speaker 1>Monday Night. Raw. He's right about that. So that was Roman.

<v Speaker 1>But he he defends this championship because the fans deserve

<v Speaker 1>a fighting champion. And when he does, he levels up

<v Speaker 1>the competition. Everybody who steps in the ring with him

<v Speaker 1>or gets on the mic with him, he forces them

<v Speaker 1>to level up. If you don't, he'll leave you slack

<v Speaker 1>jaw the way he did Roman Reigns last week. Unfortunately,

<v Speaker 1>last week he lowered himself to Roman's level. And before

<v Speaker 1>he could say anything else, Jay Usso's music hit. And

<v Speaker 1>this was not about yeating or anything. This was the

<v Speaker 1>USO's coming down to the ring, down the aisle, not

<v Speaker 1>through the crowd, and they were looking serious and stoic,

<v Speaker 1>and they got into the ring, no running it back

<v Speaker 1>this time, and Jay Usso told Punk and Jay, it's

<v Speaker 1>funny when when Jay is in there and he's all serious,

<v Speaker 1>he screams like he cuts his promo in like the

<v Speaker 1>highest decibel level you can imagine, And so he's screaming

<v Speaker 1>at Punk. You need to apologize right now. Apologize right now,

<v Speaker 1>oose and Punk asked why Roman is still sending his

<v Speaker 1>cousins out there to do his heavy lifting. So Jay

<v Speaker 1>screamed at him, you know, we came out here. I

<v Speaker 1>came out here, my damn self. And again he told

<v Speaker 1>Punk he better apologize. So Jimmy was a little calmer.

<v Speaker 1>Jimmy is actually a very good promo, right. We don't

<v Speaker 1>get to hear him cut a serious promo very often.

<v Speaker 1>You know, Jay's the one who goes out there and

<v Speaker 1>yeats and gets the whole crowd to yeat with him.

<v Speaker 1>But Jimmy, I think Jimmy is actually an underrated promo.

<v Speaker 1>So Jimmy said that this has everything to do with respect.

<v Speaker 1>He says, He's got a whole lot of respect for you, Phil,

<v Speaker 1>I really do, mainly because you call yourself the voice

<v Speaker 1>of the voiceless. You can speak trash about Rome and

<v Speaker 1>all you want to, but what you did was disrespect

<v Speaker 1>their late uncle who has no voice. So apologize. Punk said,

<v Speaker 1>you're right, your brother's coming in a little bit hot,

<v Speaker 1>but you're right. Cicca does not have a voice. He

<v Speaker 1>says he's not spiritual. Punk's not a spiritual guy, but

<v Speaker 1>he knows the ussos are. So he asked the ussos,

<v Speaker 1>do you think that Cicca can hear this? And Jimmy

<v Speaker 1>says yeah, and Punk says he respects Cicca. He didn't

<v Speaker 1>know him as well as Afa when he was coming

<v Speaker 1>up in the business, right. He would drive down to

<v Speaker 1>where Afa would train and he had his promotion and

<v Speaker 1>Afa was always generous to him when he was younger.

<v Speaker 1>He damned near babysat Lance Lance on a yu aile

<v Speaker 1>the shows were going on. He respects everyone in their

<v Speaker 1>family and they have shown him respect back, except that

<v Speaker 1>one son of a bitch. If you think Sicca heard that,

<v Speaker 1>then you believe he can see and he sees exactly

<v Speaker 1>what Punk sees, which is what a lying, conniving, backstabbing, gaslighting,

<v Speaker 1>egotistically plastic politician, his son Roman Reigns is. So this

<v Speaker 1>just made Jay even matter and Jay screams, this ain't

<v Speaker 1>about Roman Reigns. We need you to say, I'm sorry.

<v Speaker 1>The best Jay Uso promos are the ones that are

<v Speaker 1>very shortened to the point. I like it when he

<v Speaker 1>shows this intensity, like this, but jay Uso is not

<v Speaker 1>a promo guy, so the less you give him to say,

<v Speaker 1>if he says it in a very intense serious way,

<v Speaker 1>that is when Jay Uso on the mic is at

<v Speaker 1>his best. Otherwise it's just a disaster. So the fans

<v Speaker 1>chanted say, you're sorry to see I'm punk, and Punk

<v Speaker 1>shook Jimmy's hand and he said I'm sorry, and then

<v Speaker 1>he shook Jay's hand and he said, I'm sorry. I'm

<v Speaker 1>sorry that Roman Reigns treated the two of you and

<v Speaker 1>the rest of his family and the bloodline like garbage

<v Speaker 1>for years and never once apologized for doing so, which

<v Speaker 1>is one hundred percent true. Here's the point that I

<v Speaker 1>made when Roman came back as a babyface and even

<v Speaker 1>going into WrestleMania last year and everyone was cheering him

<v Speaker 1>right OTC, OTC, And I'm like, nothing has changed about

<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. Like the guy that they were all booing

<v Speaker 1>before and that treated his family like crap is the

<v Speaker 1>same Roman Reigns that we see on TV now, Like

<v Speaker 1>he has not changed, nothing changed the catchphrase, OTC, that's

<v Speaker 1>the only thing that changed. He's the same guy. He's

<v Speaker 1>a jerk. He used his family and abused his family

<v Speaker 1>and never once apologized for doing so. So again, Punk

<v Speaker 1>speaking only facts here in this promo, he said, I'm

<v Speaker 1>sorry that Roman disrespected one of his mentors, Cody's father,

<v Speaker 1>the great American dream Dusty Rhodes, when he called him irrelevant.

<v Speaker 1>And he's somehow not on the hook for apologizing, but

<v Speaker 1>I am he's sorry that Roman Reigns has tricked the

<v Speaker 1>Ussos and the rest of their family and all these

<v Speaker 1>fans into believing that he gives a single damn about

<v Speaker 1>any of them or any of this, because if he did,

<v Speaker 1>he would be standing in the ring talking to him

<v Speaker 1>right now and not his young boys. And he slammed

<v Speaker 1>the mic into Jay's chest. Jay gave him a shove back,

<v Speaker 1>and then Jimmy dropped Punk by the right hand right

<v Speaker 1>to the ear, so Jimmy had a hold Jay back

<v Speaker 1>at that point. They both leave the ring very slowly,

<v Speaker 1>and they're looking down at Punk who's on the mat.

<v Speaker 1>He's looking up at them with a smirk on his face,

<v Speaker 1>and that is how the show went off the air.

<v Speaker 1>This was I thought a very strong segment considering Roman

<v Speaker 1>wasn't there. Obviously, this stuff is at its best when

<v Speaker 1>we get Punk and Roman in the ring together. We'll

<v Speaker 1>get that hopefully next week. But in the absence of

<v Speaker 1>Roman reigns, they found a way to keep this personal

<v Speaker 1>because Roman has family members obviously all over the show,

<v Speaker 1>all over this company, by having the Ussos go out

<v Speaker 1>there and actually be serious for a change, right, They

<v Speaker 1>weren't out there to eat and have fun and smile

<v Speaker 1>and you know, again do all the things that the

<v Speaker 1>ussos do from week to week. They were serious. They

<v Speaker 1>had something serious that they could really sink their teeth into,

<v Speaker 1>and to me, that's when really they're at their best.

<v Speaker 1>I like the callback to Roman calling Dusty irrelevant. I

<v Speaker 1>believe he said that to Cody's face in a promo

<v Speaker 1>a few years ago. So I liked that callback and

<v Speaker 1>Punk pointing out like, it's okay for Roman to do that,

<v Speaker 1>but I make a comment about his father and apparently

<v Speaker 1>the whole world is ready to burn down, like little

<v Speaker 1>hypocrisy there. But again, I think what I also liked

<v Speaker 1>about it is the fact that both sides were right.

<v Speaker 1>You know, both sides made good points about the other.

<v Speaker 1>You know, the usos were not wrong in what they

<v Speaker 1>said about Punk, and Punk was not wrong in what

<v Speaker 1>he said about Roman, you know why. He didn't feel

<v Speaker 1>the need to apologize. So when it was over, I

<v Speaker 1>was left thinking, Okay, are we setting up? Are we

<v Speaker 1>setting up a Bloodline reunion at the end of WrestleMania,

<v Speaker 1>which would feel like we're just going backwards here. I
