<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, they get longer somehow they get longer. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>On the SoundOff earlier today, today, No, yesterday, Right, it's Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>Now now it's Monday. I don't even know what fucking
<v Speaker 1>day it is. But I said on the SoundOff, I said,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Revolution has had some of the best matches
<v Speaker 1>in AW history, right, I mean a history of having
<v Speaker 1>these types of matches, whether it's the tag team title
<v Speaker 1>match from twenty twenty, the Dog Collar match with MJF
<v Speaker 1>and cmpunk Stings retirement, right, the Hollywood ending. I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>all of these matches. I said, you know, this show
<v Speaker 1>here tonight has some very big shoes to fill, and
<v Speaker 1>there are gonna be people who watched that Texas Deathmatch tonight,
<v Speaker 1>in the main event between MJF and Hangman Adam Page,
<v Speaker 1>and want to put it in that same category. And
<v Speaker 1>you would not be wrong. On mjf's thirtieth birthday, he
<v Speaker 1>went out there and probably had the the most violent
<v Speaker 1>Texas Death match that AAW has ever produced. And we've
<v Speaker 1>seen a lot of violence and a lot of blood
<v Speaker 1>and a lot of dumb shit that these guys have
<v Speaker 1>done to one another in Texas Death matches before. So
<v Speaker 1>tonight was no exception. It was a very violent match.
<v Speaker 1>And if this was going to be the blowoff between
<v Speaker 1>MJF and Hangman, the ultimate battle between two guys that
<v Speaker 1>have been there since day one, really two og guys
<v Speaker 1>in AAW, then it was a very appropriate match to
<v Speaker 1>go out on. But I do have to point out
<v Speaker 1>I think Brian Danielson said it best. You don't even
<v Speaker 1>have to have me tell you this. This was something
<v Speaker 1>that was literally said on commentary tonight during the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view as the match was going on, Brian Danielson
<v Speaker 1>was on commentary and he said that for all of
<v Speaker 1>the Texas death matches that we have seen in AAW,
<v Speaker 1>he would like to see a moratorium on Texas death
<v Speaker 1>matches for a bit. And I can only hope that
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kahan was on his headset in the back listening
<v Speaker 1>to what Brian Danielson was saying during the main event.
<v Speaker 1>In his ear, He's a very wise man, is Brian Danielson.
<v Speaker 1>I hope that Tony Khan takes his advice we should
<v Speaker 1>have a moratorium on these matches for a while, because
<v Speaker 1>I feel like we've seen so many of them that
<v Speaker 1>after a while you do sort of I mean desensitized,
<v Speaker 1>I guess, but I don't know. I think it sort
<v Speaker 1>of lessens the appreciation for it when you get it
<v Speaker 1>so often, there's a sameness to it. I think that
<v Speaker 1>was the message he was trying to convey on commentary.
<v Speaker 1>I wholeheartedly agree with Brian Danielson. Did the main event
<v Speaker 1>need to go forty five minutes? It did not. I
<v Speaker 1>think if you would have shaved fifteen minutes off that match,
<v Speaker 1>it still could have been this epic, violent, brutal, bloody
<v Speaker 1>affair and the greatest Texas death match in AW history,
<v Speaker 1>which arguably it was even with the additional fifteen minutes.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't think that match needed to go forty
<v Speaker 1>five minutes. It just it kept going and there were
<v Speaker 1>a lot of callbacks in the match. We had the syringe.
<v Speaker 1>I've stated my piece on the syringe from the Hangman
<v Speaker 1>and Sworeve cage match. They had it all out previously,
<v Speaker 1>only this was worse. This was worse because we had
<v Speaker 1>the syringe physically going through Hangman's cheek as he was
<v Speaker 1>squirting out the water or whatever it was that was
<v Speaker 1>in the syringe, and you could see it shooting out,
<v Speaker 1>but the actual needle going through the cheek of Hangman Page,
<v Speaker 1>so we had the callback to the syringe spot. We
<v Speaker 1>had the dog collars, even though it wasn't a dog
<v Speaker 1>collar match. We had Hangman bust out two dog collars
<v Speaker 1>in the match, which when MJF saw them, he started
<v Speaker 1>to have PTSD going back to his match with cmpunk
<v Speaker 1>not this again, and he tried to get so I
<v Speaker 1>thought that was a nice callback, even right down to
<v Speaker 1>the finish of the match. MJF hanging hanging Hangman very
<v Speaker 1>appropriate over the top rope with a chain by his
<v Speaker 1>neck as he struggles and gasps for air the same
<v Speaker 1>way that he beat John Moxley It all in to
<v Speaker 1>win the AW World Championship is the exact way that
<v Speaker 1>Hangman Page went down tonight to where he can now
<v Speaker 1>no longer never again. Per the rules challenge for the
<v Speaker 1>AW World title. That's what they claim. MJF beat him
<v Speaker 1>fair and square. There was no fair and square. I
<v Speaker 1>mean again, he used the dynamite diamond ring, he used
<v Speaker 1>the belt all which is all legal by the way
<v Speaker 1>in a Texas death match. But I mean in terms
<v Speaker 1>of having somebody come out for the assist I thought
<v Speaker 1>that we would see swerve pop up in this match,
<v Speaker 1>I really did. There was no swerve. There was literally
<v Speaker 1>there was no swerve in this match. It was two
<v Speaker 1>guys who beat the holy fuck out of each other
<v Speaker 1>for forty five minutes, and just when you thought, well,
<v Speaker 1>that's gotta be it, right they would get back up
<v Speaker 1>before the ten count, they literally went flying off the
<v Speaker 1>stage and exploded. There was an explosion, There were flames,
<v Speaker 1>there were sparks. They just went right down through an
<v Speaker 1>announced table and everything just blew up and they no
<v Speaker 1>sold an explosion. They got back to their feet and
<v Speaker 1>the match continued. There was nothing left for these men
<v Speaker 1>to do short of shooting each other in the head
<v Speaker 1>with a gun. They did everything that you could possibly
<v Speaker 1>do in a match like this. Skewers, barbed wire, change chairs, tables,
<v Speaker 1>broken glass, explosions, syringes, dog collars, light tubes. I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>I'm missing some stuff. They threw everything you could possibly
<v Speaker 1>do with each other, buckets of blood all over the DNA,
<v Speaker 1>all over the place. But when it was over, MJF stood.
<v Speaker 1>Now what that means for the future of hangman Adam Page.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. We'll see where his story takes him.
<v Speaker 1>Do I believe that he will never again challenge for
<v Speaker 1>the aw World title, not for a second, but certainly
<v Speaker 1>he won't be challenging for the championship for a while.
<v Speaker 1>He's out of the picture now. And who MJF goes
<v Speaker 1>on to next, we'll see, I mean, I would you
<v Speaker 1>would think it would be Swerve, but Swerve is seemingly
<v Speaker 1>going to be occupied with someone else who made their
<v Speaker 1>return tonight. I will also point out to you the
<v Speaker 1>main event ended at twelve thirty in the morning, so
<v Speaker 1>five and a half hours of revolution from the moment
<v Speaker 1>that the show started until the moment that the show concluded.
<v Speaker 1>So I am fucking exhausted. I had more energy for
<v Speaker 1>this three hours ago. I promise you I did, but
<v Speaker 1>they just beat it out of me. Was a very
<v Speaker 1>Newsworthy show, though, beyond the main event and the violence
<v Speaker 1>and the gore and the implications of what it means
<v Speaker 1>for hangmen, all that that was very important. But we
<v Speaker 1>had the returns of Will Osprey, who went after John
<v Speaker 1>Moxley and the Death Riders because they were the ones
<v Speaker 1>who put him on the shelf last year. So will
<v Speaker 1>Osprey is back. I know they've been teasing it, they've
<v Speaker 1>been airing vignettes and everything. I still didn't expect him
<v Speaker 1>back quite this soon, so that was a surprise, a
<v Speaker 1>bit of a surprise to me, and getting physical no less.
<v Speaker 1>So he's back. Kenny Omega is back. He made it
<v Speaker 1>back from Japan and he came out to make the
<v Speaker 1>save after the Swerve Strickland match with Brody King. So
<v Speaker 1>obviously he wants revenge on Swerve for what Swerve did
<v Speaker 1>to him, which is what I meant before when I
<v Speaker 1>said Swerve you would think is next in line, but
<v Speaker 1>maybe not, because Kenny Omega now is going to be
<v Speaker 1>going after Swerve. So maybe that's the match in Vancouver
<v Speaker 1>at Dynasty next month. And we had the returns of
<v Speaker 1>Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, who came out to confront
<v Speaker 1>the still tag team champions FTR after the match. And
<v Speaker 1>what feels like something honestly that happened days ago, like
<v Speaker 1>the stuff that happened at the beginning of the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view tonight. It feels like ages ago. That's how
<v Speaker 1>long this show was. And they had so many returns
<v Speaker 1>on this show. I don't know why you couldn't save
<v Speaker 1>one of them for Dynamite. You know what's Tony got
<v Speaker 1>up his sleeve for Dynamite on Wednesday. He gave it
<v Speaker 1>all away tonight. We had a lot of returns on
<v Speaker 1>this show tonight. We also, I don't know if this
<v Speaker 1>qualifies as a return. She technically did make an appearance
<v Speaker 1>once for a Ring of honor Ronda Rowsey. She was
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight to call out timeless Tony Storm
<v Speaker 1>after her match, and the two of them had to
<v Speaker 1>be separated. And now, of all the people I was
<v Speaker 1>expecting to potentially pop up on my TV tonight, Ronda
<v Speaker 1>Rowsey was not one of those people. Especially given that
<v Speaker 1>Ronda has this multimillion dollar MMA fight coming up in
<v Speaker 1>two months with Gina Carano. I was not expecting her
<v Speaker 1>to pop up in the middle of an AW pay
<v Speaker 1>per view, but there she was. And also, we have
<v Speaker 1>new women's tag team champions, which I think was a
<v Speaker 1>foregone conclusion, and we have a new AW National champion.
<v Speaker 1>Those were the two title changes on the show, one
<v Speaker 1>of them happening on the pre show, which is where
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to start here in a moment, because we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get through this. This was a very long night.
<v Speaker 1>It was a great show. It was a great show,
<v Speaker 1>and the only kind of overall critique that I have
<v Speaker 1>is about the length of the shows. He has no restraint,
<v Speaker 1>He has no restraint. It actually is getting worse in
<v Speaker 1>that regard. I don't like when we got to the
<v Speaker 1>trios match with Darby Allen and Orange Cassidy and Rotterick
<v Speaker 1>Strung Roderick Strong is coming out at eleven o'clock at
<v Speaker 1>night to wrestle the dogs, Even the dogs, even the
<v Speaker 1>dog if you have a dog at home, even your
<v Speaker 1>dog is looking at you, going, what are you still
<v Speaker 1>doing up? You walked me three hours ago. I saw
<v Speaker 1>them coming out. I said, why is this match happening tonight?
<v Speaker 1>Why is the main event not coming to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>especially if they're going to go forty five minutes? Why
<v Speaker 1>the fuck did that need to be on this show?
<v Speaker 1>This is what I mean. So that was my only
<v Speaker 1>real problem with the show. Otherwise, in terms of the
<v Speaker 1>wrestling that we got on the show, of course it
<v Speaker 1>was great. You look up and down the card. You
<v Speaker 1>knew coming into this show, just look at it on paper.
<v Speaker 1>You knew that you were going to get great wrestling
<v Speaker 1>matches on this show, and buy and large those matches delivered.
<v Speaker 1>So it was a hugely thumbs up show in that
<v Speaker 1>regard iss Just again, time management on this show continues
<v Speaker 1>to elude Tony Kahan. He's just he's incapable of it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else to say, but it's late.
<v Speaker 1>Let's talk about Revolution twenty twenty six. Those of you
<v Speaker 1>who are with me now, some of you have, some
<v Speaker 1>of you have since hit the bed and the pillow.
<v Speaker 1>But those of you who are still with me, I
<v Speaker 1>thank you. Hit that like button and that subscribe button.
<v Speaker 1>If you are not already subscribed here to the channel.
<v Speaker 1>Super chats are open, and thank you for those of
<v Speaker 1>you who have already tuned into episode nine fifty five
<v Speaker 1>of the sound Off, which went up earlier today, well
<v Speaker 1>yesterday again. I keep thinking it's Sunday. I'll never get
<v Speaker 1>used to that. Let's spend the wheel real quick here,
<v Speaker 1>because I don't want to waste too much time on this.
<v Speaker 1>This is just these fucking pay per views. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>been a while since I've done a live aw pay
<v Speaker 1>per view review, and this will be the last time
<v Speaker 1>for a while, so I hope you enjoy it. Four
<v Speaker 1>fifty should be easy enough, four hundred and fifty lives
<v Speaker 1>for your to be the booker later on, that is
<v Speaker 1>our goal for tonight. We had a few matches on
<v Speaker 1>the zero hour pre show. We have Boom and Doom,
<v Speaker 1>Big Boom, aj of the Costco guys with Qt Marshall.
<v Speaker 1>They called themselves Boom and Doom. They had the Rizzler,
<v Speaker 1>Big Justice, Aaron Solo in their corner, took on the
<v Speaker 1>infantry Sean Dean, Carly Bravo with Shane Taylor, Tricia Dora
<v Speaker 1>and Christian Xo, who is a gigantic woman. She is
<v Speaker 1>six feet three inches used to play basketball. Yeah, no shit,
<v Speaker 1>a big woman. They did nothing on TV to set
<v Speaker 1>any of this up up until Ring of Honor this week.
<v Speaker 1>I take it they had a segment on the R
<v Speaker 1>eight show on Thursday. It was added as a crowd
<v Speaker 1>pleasing pre show match. I mean that's basically how they
<v Speaker 1>used Thesco guys and it usually gets over with the
<v Speaker 1>live crowd. Wayne Brady was there. He wasn't choking anybody,
<v Speaker 1>but yes, Wayne Brady was in the front row. Shane
<v Speaker 1>Taylor got up at his face. He was daring him
<v Speaker 1>to hit him, so Brady slapped him and Taylor pulled
<v Speaker 1>him over the barricade. So now here comes the Rizzler,
<v Speaker 1>who likes to touch his face. That's his gimmick. He
<v Speaker 1>touches his face. So he comes over and he looks
<v Speaker 1>up at Shane Taylor, who's taken shits that are bigger
<v Speaker 1>than the Rizzler. And the Wrizzler is going like this
<v Speaker 1>and he's touching his face and Shane Taylor shoves him
<v Speaker 1>down to the ground. How old is the Wrizzler? I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how old the Wrizzler is. He looks like
<v Speaker 1>he's about seven years old. But he gets shoved down
<v Speaker 1>to the ground. Are the Oscars still on? By the way,
<v Speaker 1>did Dynamite outlast the Oscars? I wouldn't be surprised if
<v Speaker 1>they did. So he got heat for shoving down the Rizzler,
<v Speaker 1>and Big Justice comes sprinting over and he spears Shane
<v Speaker 1>Taylor down to the ground. Yes, this is a thing
<v Speaker 1>that really happened tonight. And anyway, Big who gives a
<v Speaker 1>shit about the rest of this? Big Boom aj and
<v Speaker 1>QT Marshall they won, and then everybody got in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>including Wayne Brady and the Rizzler, and he touched himself
<v Speaker 1>and that was that. So he had Willow Nightingale and
<v Speaker 1>Lena Cross for the TBS Championship. Both women were pulling
<v Speaker 1>double duty tonight. They had a women's tag team title
<v Speaker 1>match later on in the show. The story here was
<v Speaker 1>Lena was working over Willow's shoulder, which was going to
<v Speaker 1>play a role later on in the show, so she
<v Speaker 1>was really working that over. Lena looked good here. Again,
<v Speaker 1>she's a very good wrestler. She wasn't winning anything though.
<v Speaker 1>Willow retained the title off a backslide into a flash pin,
<v Speaker 1>which is the same way she beat Persephone on Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>on Wednesday. Guess this is one of her finishing moves now,
<v Speaker 1>the backslide. So after the match, Meghan Bain came out,
<v Speaker 1>two of them double team done Willow until Harley Cameron
<v Speaker 1>ran out with a pipe and she cleared the ring.
<v Speaker 1>We had a twenty one man Blackjack Battle Royal for
<v Speaker 1>the AW National Championship. I would read you the list
<v Speaker 1>of participants, but what's the point. The only names you
<v Speaker 1>need to know really are Ricochet, Jack Perry, and Tamaso.
<v Speaker 1>Champa was also in there. I did see someone now,
<v Speaker 1>Dalton Castle was in there, and I did see someone
<v Speaker 1>online mistake Dalton Castle for Hacksaw Jim Duggan, And now
<v Speaker 1>I cannot unsee this. Now every time I see Dalton Castle,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to think Hacksaw Jim Duggin. So Jack Perry
<v Speaker 1>was driven to the arena in a Jurassic Express bus
<v Speaker 1>and the driver was the dinosaur Lucasaurus was back. Now
<v Speaker 1>he had his arm in a sling and his arm
<v Speaker 1>was wrapped because he's still hurt. But then Jack came off.
<v Speaker 1>He was like a bus driver and Jack looked like
<v Speaker 1>a little kid, you know, being dropped off at school.
<v Speaker 1>And so he got off the bus and into the arena.
<v Speaker 1>He went Bishop Kahn and Tota Leona. They came out
<v Speaker 1>with Ricochet, but as they were not in the Battle Royal,
<v Speaker 1>they were not allowed to come down to the ring
<v Speaker 1>with him, and so they were sent to the back.
<v Speaker 1>And this Battle Royal, where the objective is to toss the
<v Speaker 1>other participants over the top rope to eliminate them. This
<v Speaker 1>Battle Royal began outside the ring. They're all brawling outside there,
<v Speaker 1>And for a moment I thought I had been transported
<v Speaker 1>back to that one shitty reverse Battle Royal that Russo
<v Speaker 1>came up with many years ago in TNA. Remember the
<v Speaker 1>reverse Battle Royal. What a great idea that was. That's
<v Speaker 1>basically what we had here at the beginning. We had
<v Speaker 1>a reverse Battle Royal until finally everybody got in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and I should mention Leo Rush was one of the
<v Speaker 1>people who was also in there. Now, I don't remember
<v Speaker 1>the last time I saw Leo Rush on aw television,
<v Speaker 1>but apparently he has been possessed by a demon. He
<v Speaker 1>was crawling around on the Remember the movie Megan right
<v Speaker 1>first one anyway with the doll, and there was that
<v Speaker 1>one scene in the woods before she kills that kid,
<v Speaker 1>knocks him onto the road to gets hit by a
<v Speaker 1>car where she drops down on all fours and she's
<v Speaker 1>very creepily like running around. That was Leo Rush in
<v Speaker 1>this match, and he was making these weird demon sounds.
<v Speaker 1>So apparently this is his new gimmick. Maybe Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>cursed him, I don't know. It was kind of fucking weird.
<v Speaker 1>Late in the match, Daniel Garcia he ripped Commander's mask
<v Speaker 1>off as he was struggling to hold himself up on
<v Speaker 1>the ropes. He ripped the mask off and so Commander
<v Speaker 1>had to let go and he was eliminated because he
<v Speaker 1>had to protect his face and Daniel Garcia put the
<v Speaker 1>mask on. Champa eliminated Garcia, and they did the deal
<v Speaker 1>where the Battle Royal bled over into the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view, which they've done several times now,
<v Speaker 1>and so the Pyro is shooting off on the stage.
<v Speaker 1>The Battle Royal is still in progress, and it's it's
<v Speaker 1>continuing here. It came down to Ricochet and Jack Perry.
<v Speaker 1>After Tamaso Champa got eliminated. They wound up on the apron.
<v Speaker 1>Ricochet ended up taking a reverse Rana poison rana on
<v Speaker 1>the apron and he fell to the floor. And so
<v Speaker 1>Jack Perry is the brand new aw National champion. And look,
<v Speaker 1>the title changing hands at a Battle Royal, I think
<v Speaker 1>is pretty fucking lame. But it's the national title, so
<v Speaker 1>it's like, all right, whatever. Yeah, if they had done
<v Speaker 1>that with the world title, that would be a different story,
<v Speaker 1>but it's the national title, so who cares. And the
<v Speaker 1>fans in the building, they were happy to see Jack
<v Speaker 1>Perry win. His family was there, his sister, his mom, right,
<v Speaker 1>he's from California, and they've had so many matches already
<v Speaker 1>that I mean, I figured the title would change, but
<v Speaker 1>probably in a singles match. They decided to change it
<v Speaker 1>here in the Battle Royal, so again not really a
<v Speaker 1>huge surprise. I had Ricochet winning, but I can't say
<v Speaker 1>that Jack Perry winning is a huge shock given that
<v Speaker 1>everything seemed to be building in that direction. Now they
<v Speaker 1>started officially the main card with the aw Tag team
<v Speaker 1>titles on the line, FTR defending against the Young Bucks
<v Speaker 1>in their backyard. They had a video package on the
<v Speaker 1>Bucks that was narrated by Matt Nick's kids, who also
<v Speaker 1>came out with them for their entrance. So they came
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring. I think it was their kids
<v Speaker 1>and their brother, Malachi, the one who got beat up
<v Speaker 1>by FTR a few weeks ago, was his kids also
<v Speaker 1>and they all took a seat in the front row
<v Speaker 1>with you, Papa Buck and all the other Bucks in
<v Speaker 1>the front row, Uncle Buck, and they were bleeding within
<v Speaker 1>the first five minutes of the match. So much for
<v Speaker 1>Texas death op fucking match of the main car. We
<v Speaker 1>already had blood in the first five minutes. Nick Jackson
<v Speaker 1>was busted open, Dax Harwood got but I didn't see
<v Speaker 1>how Dax got busted, but Dax Harwood got busted open.
<v Speaker 1>At one point Matt Jackson. He was at ringside, I
<v Speaker 1>presume with his son, you know they were. They were
<v Speaker 1>head to head and his son is yelling words of
<v Speaker 1>encouragement at him. Get back in there and fight them.
<v Speaker 1>Get back in He's like, he's like a cheerleader for him.
<v Speaker 1>So Dax took Matt over then to where uh the
<v Speaker 1>Buck's brother, Malachi was the one who they gave a
<v Speaker 1>spike pile driver to. Malachi splashed a drink in Dax's face.
<v Speaker 1>When he turned around, here comes Cash Wheeler doing a
<v Speaker 1>wild dive out to the floor, but he wiped out
<v Speaker 1>his own partner and took out Dax. So the Bucks
<v Speaker 1>went for a meltzer driver. Later when Stokely Hathaway miraculously,
<v Speaker 1>it's a miracle, he rose from his wheelchair and and
<v Speaker 1>he stopped them. So that brief distraction allowed FTR to
<v Speaker 1>hit a shatter machine for a two count. They followed
<v Speaker 1>with a spike pile driver on Nick for a three count.
<v Speaker 1>His foot, though, was on the bottom rope. Rick Knox
<v Speaker 1>did not notice it, but then he said, Okay, the
<v Speaker 1>match is going to continue. FTR hit a bte trigger,
<v Speaker 1>Nick kicked out at one and the crowd went nuts.
<v Speaker 1>Matt saved his brother from a shatter machine. They hit
<v Speaker 1>Hardwood with one of their own, and the Bucks hit
<v Speaker 1>Hardwood with a BTE trigger and that only got a
<v Speaker 1>near fall. So you know, again hitting all the big moves,
<v Speaker 1>all the big kickouts, you know that you would expect here.
<v Speaker 1>And in the end it was a melt driver on
<v Speaker 1>Harwood who kicked out and Nick took an Avalanche shatter machine,
<v Speaker 1>which ultimately led to FTR retaining the titles Still your
<v Speaker 1>Tag Team Champions. Dax in Cash. Now, after the match
<v Speaker 1>was over, FTR and Stokely they're celebrating when the lights
<v Speaker 1>go out and we hear the music and outcomes Adam
<v Speaker 1>Copeland and then we hear the music for Christian Cage,
<v Speaker 1>but there is no Christian. Instead, Christian comes out of
<v Speaker 1>the crowd behind them, and FTR doesn't realize this, and
<v Speaker 1>Christian gets into the ring and he sprayed something in
<v Speaker 1>Wheeler's eyes. I don't know what it was. Maybe he
<v Speaker 1>maced them, maybe he did, I don't know, sprayed the
<v Speaker 1>hair spray in his face, who knows, some toxic chemical.
<v Speaker 1>Copeland flew in with a spear to Wheeler. DA's got
<v Speaker 1>taken out Stokely is all by himself. He's all alone
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and he offered handshakes to both men. Cage,
<v Speaker 1>they'll pull them in for a kill switch Cage and Copeland.
<v Speaker 1>They picked up the tag team titles, and they were
<v Speaker 1>staring down FTR, who were in the aisle. But then
<v Speaker 1>the Bucks get back in the ring and they come
<v Speaker 1>up from behind Cope and Christian and now they're having
<v Speaker 1>a stare down, and then the two teams stare back
<v Speaker 1>at FTR in the aisle, and that's how things close
<v Speaker 1>out here. So maybe I would say this was probably
<v Speaker 1>the best of all the matches that we have seen
<v Speaker 1>with FTR and the Bucks. And they've had some great
<v Speaker 1>matches before, so for this to be up there as
<v Speaker 1>the top one that they've had, you know, it's a
<v Speaker 1>pretty damn good match. It was just great tag team
<v Speaker 1>professional wrestling with a hot crowd. They had some believable
<v Speaker 1>near falls in there. All of the emphasis on the
<v Speaker 1>Bucks family and their kids and everything, I thought for
<v Speaker 1>sure the Bucks were taking the belts here. So I
<v Speaker 1>was kind of surprised to see FTR win. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I shouldn't have been, because we always knew Cope and
<v Speaker 1>Christian were coming back right, it was just a matter
<v Speaker 1>of win, and we knew they were going after FTR.
<v Speaker 1>But I just thought, well, maybe they're going to put
<v Speaker 1>the belts on the Bucks and do cop and Christian
<v Speaker 1>against FTR, not for the belts, and then if they
<v Speaker 1>want to have Cope and Christian win the belts, they
<v Speaker 1>could win them from somebody else. So they didn't go
<v Speaker 1>in that direction because clearly they want Cope and Christian
<v Speaker 1>to be challenging Dax and Cash for the tag Belts,
<v Speaker 1>and that makes sense given what happened before, you know,
<v Speaker 1>when they attack Copeland's wife, So they're going to reignite
<v Speaker 1>that feud now. And the stare down with the Bucks
<v Speaker 1>and Cope and Christian was very interesting. That's a match
<v Speaker 1>that clearly is going to happen at some point. And
<v Speaker 1>so the question I guess is do they win the
<v Speaker 1>titles before the summer and do we then get Copeland
<v Speaker 1>and Christian for the Belts defending against the Bucks with
<v Speaker 1>the Bucks winning the belts from them at Wembley at
<v Speaker 1>all in or do we get a three way match,
<v Speaker 1>because it feels to me like, yo, why would you
<v Speaker 1>leave FTR out of that? And maybe we get a
<v Speaker 1>match with all three teams at Wembley for the tag belts,
<v Speaker 1>but that seems to be kind of where we're headed here.
<v Speaker 1>But those tag belts are going to end up around
<v Speaker 1>Copeland and Christian's waste guaranteed. I'm not saying it's going
<v Speaker 1>to be a long run, but they're going to get
<v Speaker 1>their run with them. Tony conn I'm sure dying to
<v Speaker 1>put his belts on the two of them and get
<v Speaker 1>them in the lineage of those tag team titles. Timeless
<v Speaker 1>Tony Storm against Marina Shafir. Everyone is banned from ringside.
<v Speaker 1>Shaffir was dominant for most of this. Tony bit on
<v Speaker 1>Marina's foot a couple of times. Now think about this.
<v Speaker 1>Marina is out there barefoot, She's walking all through the arena,
<v Speaker 1>She's walking through the crowd, all the sickos. Who knows
<v Speaker 1>where those feet have been, and Tony is putting them
<v Speaker 1>in her mouth. She's gonna have to get a tennis
<v Speaker 1>shot now, Tony hit Storm zero. Marina though kicked out,
<v Speaker 1>So Marina got mother's milk applied. Tony though bit down
<v Speaker 1>on her breast. She wanted some of that milk. There
<v Speaker 1>was a great way to counter out of the hole
<v Speaker 1>because Marina just pushed her away after that. So Tony
<v Speaker 1>then hooked her into the big package and she got
<v Speaker 1>the pin in less than ten minutes. The perfect match
<v Speaker 1>here to position in this spot, coming off a hot
<v Speaker 1>tag team title match that opened the show, you want
<v Speaker 1>to have a bit of a come down match. That's
<v Speaker 1>basically what this was. But the bigger story is what
<v Speaker 1>happened when the match was over. Tony Storm goes to
<v Speaker 1>the stage and she lays down and she's posing and
<v Speaker 1>doing snow angels and whatever it is that she does. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there was a lot of biting tonight, wasn't there Biting
<v Speaker 1>of bloody heads and feet and who knows what else.
<v Speaker 1>It's a lot of weird shit on this fucking show.
<v Speaker 1>But she's laying there on the stage and you could
<v Speaker 1>hear a commotion from the crowd, and they cut back
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and there's Ronda Rousey. She gets into
<v Speaker 1>the ring and she's calling out Tony Storm, who sits
<v Speaker 1>up and sees her in the ring and smiles and
<v Speaker 1>says okay, And Tony marches back down to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and soon as she gets into the ring, here comes
<v Speaker 1>just this swarm of referees and security to get into
<v Speaker 1>the ring in between them. So Tony goes and sits
<v Speaker 1>on the top turn buckle. Marina Shaffer sneaks back up
<v Speaker 1>onto the apron and just sucker punches her right in
<v Speaker 1>the face, and Tony just falls down to the match unconscious.
<v Speaker 1>Rowsey and Shaffir they leave together. Of course, they've been
<v Speaker 1>friends for a very long time. You know, the original
<v Speaker 1>Four horse Women, it was Ronda Rousey, it was SHANEA. Besler,
<v Speaker 1>it was Jessmine Duke, and it was Marina Shaffir, right,
<v Speaker 1>all of whom at one time were signed by WWA.
<v Speaker 1>So there's a relationship there with Tony or not Tony,
<v Speaker 1>with the Ronda and Marina that goes back many years.
<v Speaker 1>So they leave together. Mina Shirakawa comes out to go
<v Speaker 1>check on Tony's storm. Well that was unexpected, I'll say
<v Speaker 1>that much. I did not have my money on Ronda
<v Speaker 1>rowsey appearance here on this show. You know, after the
<v Speaker 1>announcement of that Netflix fight that she's going to be
<v Speaker 1>having with Gina Carano. I will say, it's a nice
<v Speaker 1>little coup because Ronda has been in the news. It's
<v Speaker 1>a nice little coup for Tony Kahan to you know,
<v Speaker 1>be able to bring her in for whatever it is
<v Speaker 1>that he's bringing her in for. She basically felt like
<v Speaker 1>an honorary member of the Death Riders because as the
<v Speaker 1>two of them exited through the crowd, John Moxley, they
<v Speaker 1>showed him in the back in like the tunnel with
<v Speaker 1>the other members of the Death Riders and he was
<v Speaker 1>getting ready, his music was playing, he was getting ready
<v Speaker 1>to come after his match. So as he's making his
<v Speaker 1>way into the crowd, he passes by Marina Shaffir and
<v Speaker 1>Ronda Rousey and Marina smacks him in the face as
<v Speaker 1>she always does, and Ronda gave him a smack too,
<v Speaker 1>just to fire him up as he was going down
<v Speaker 1>to the rink. So at least for one night, it
<v Speaker 1>felt like Ronda was an honorary Death Writer. And oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, Ronda Rousey and the Death Riders my two
<v Speaker 1>favorite things. Oh boy, look, if Tony has got her
<v Speaker 1>in for a one off match with Tony Storm, then fine,
<v Speaker 1>it'll it'll be an attraction match, right, It's something because
<v Speaker 1>I was wondering after she won the match, like, what's
<v Speaker 1>next for Tony Storm? Are we gonna do Tony and
<v Speaker 1>Tekla or like, what's the plan here? Because Tony Storm
<v Speaker 1>is still one of the biggest stars they have, and
<v Speaker 1>so maybe this is like a little side quest for her,
<v Speaker 1>you know where Ronda's got this fight coming up. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how good the fight's gonna be. Ronda didn't
<v Speaker 1>exactly look great in her last few fights, but the
<v Speaker 1>fact that Ronda hasn't fought in ten years, it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be an attraction. You know, it's gonna get a lot
<v Speaker 1>of attention, a lot of publicity when she gets in
<v Speaker 1>there with Gina. Right the fight's coming up in May,
<v Speaker 1>and so if some of that could rub off on
<v Speaker 1>Tony Storm, and you know, it helps get them some publicity,
<v Speaker 1>then hey, good for them. If it's a one off,
<v Speaker 1>then that's fine. Because I have no no appetite desire
<v Speaker 1>to see anything beyond that with Ronda Rowsei. I have
<v Speaker 1>no interest in seeing Ronda Rowsey in an AW ring
<v Speaker 1>for any sort of part time run, full time run.
<v Speaker 1>I have no interest. I mean, I saw what she
<v Speaker 1>was doing in her last run with WWE. Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>have no interest in seeing Ronda Rowsey have a run
<v Speaker 1>on the AW roster. And I don't think that's what
<v Speaker 1>this is. Whatever this is, I don't think it's that.
<v Speaker 1>So we'll see how often she's even around for I'm
<v Speaker 1>not expecting her on television weekly or anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>I think, honestly, this is probably more to do with, Hey,
<v Speaker 1>this would be fun to do, and I got friends
<v Speaker 1>who worked there, and let's use it as a way
<v Speaker 1>to promote my Netflix fight. That's what I think this
<v Speaker 1>is more than anything else. The only question is, like,
<v Speaker 1>there's no way that she's doing a match before she
<v Speaker 1>fights Gina. I mean that fights eight weeks away. She's
<v Speaker 1>training right now for a fucking fight, and she hasn't
<v Speaker 1>fought in a decade. She's not gonna be going off
<v Speaker 1>in a month than doing a pro wrestling match. So
<v Speaker 1>are we going to get a match? They certainly tease one.
<v Speaker 1>If so, when does the match happen? Are they planning
<v Speaker 1>for it later in the summer? Is this a fucking
<v Speaker 1>Wembley match at all? In I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what we're looking at here, But as long as
<v Speaker 1>whatever they do with Ronda is kept very limited, then hey,
<v Speaker 1>do what you gotta do, get some publicity out of it,
<v Speaker 1>and then move on. Because I really don't have any
<v Speaker 1>great desire to see any more than that. And it's
<v Speaker 1>not like they need help with their women's division. Their
<v Speaker 1>women's division right now is very strong. They're in a
<v Speaker 1>good spot right now when it comes to the female
<v Speaker 1>talent that they have under contract. They are surging when
<v Speaker 1>it comes to their women's division in a way that
<v Speaker 1>they weren't before. So it's not like Ronda really brings
<v Speaker 1>anything to the table as far as that goes, that
<v Speaker 1>they absolutely need right now. She's an attraction, She'll be
<v Speaker 1>good in a limited period of time time and then
<v Speaker 1>you just move on. By the way, they did announce
<v Speaker 1>we're getting another match between Tony Storm and Marina Shaffir
<v Speaker 1>for Dynamite this Wednesday, only this time it is going
<v Speaker 1>to be no holds barred. Tony won the match tonight
<v Speaker 1>fair and square, but apparently we're getting another one. We'll
<v Speaker 1>see if Ronda shows up. We had John Moxley against
<v Speaker 1>Kenoski Takeshta for the Continental Championship no time limit. Unlike
<v Speaker 1>their match in Australia last month which went twenty minutes
<v Speaker 1>time limit draw, no time limit here, this was the
<v Speaker 1>match of the night, at least up until this point.
<v Speaker 1>It was the match of the night. Both men went
<v Speaker 1>to the apron where Takashta missed a Falcon arrow at
<v Speaker 1>one point as Moxley countered into a curb stomp on
<v Speaker 1>the apron and Takashta came up bleeding from the left
<v Speaker 1>eye more blood. There was a Gotch style pile driver
<v Speaker 1>in here by Moxley. Takashta kicked out Takesha one up
<v Speaker 1>top and he was biting. Somebody mentioned biting. Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>He was biting at Moxley before delivering an Avalanche exploder
<v Speaker 1>hit the power drive knee only for a two count.
<v Speaker 1>Takesha wanted the raging fire. Moxley, though, hit a desperation
<v Speaker 1>cutter and Takesha just rose right up. Big pop from
<v Speaker 1>the crowd. Takesha floated over a death Rider into the
<v Speaker 1>raging fire and Moxley barely kicked out. I believe the
<v Speaker 1>first man to ever do so. Takesha wanted a power
<v Speaker 1>drive knee. His leg gave out, though, and that allowed
<v Speaker 1>Moxley to hit a death Rider for two. Crowd was
<v Speaker 1>super hot for this. Quickly up to the corner, Moxley
<v Speaker 1>connects with an Avalanche death Rider and again Takeshta somehow
<v Speaker 1>kicked out, so the fans are losing their minds. Moxley
<v Speaker 1>tries for a rear naked choke to kesh To fights
<v Speaker 1>it off, and he's flipping Moxley off even though he's,
<v Speaker 1>you know, in this choke, he's got no way to go.
<v Speaker 1>Moxley traps the arm, sinks in the choke and Takeshta
<v Speaker 1>goes ninety night, which I will be doing here in
<v Speaker 1>just a few minutes, and John Moxley retains the Continental Championship.
<v Speaker 1>After the match, the death riders all but Claudio. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think Claudio was there, but they come to ringside.
<v Speaker 1>They're applauding Moxley, who offers a handshake to Takeshta, and
<v Speaker 1>Takeshta went to go leave like he wasn't going to
<v Speaker 1>accept it, but he stopped. He thought better of it,
<v Speaker 1>came back in shook hands with Moxley, so they pay
<v Speaker 1>respect to each other. This was an incredible battle. I
<v Speaker 1>may disagree with the finish, but I can't deny that
<v Speaker 1>it was an incredible match. Fans got louder with each
<v Speaker 1>successive near fall. Now I said earlier on the sound
<v Speaker 1>off that this goes one of two ways. The way
<v Speaker 1>that I was hoping is Takeshta wins the championship, and
<v Speaker 1>then you just build to a match with Okada probably
<v Speaker 1>and Wembley, but whenever it could be anything could be Dynasty,
<v Speaker 1>he could be Double or nothing. Doesn't have to be Wembley.
<v Speaker 1>But you build to the eventual match and they both
<v Speaker 1>put their respective belts on the line and you unify them.
<v Speaker 1>Whoever wins, which should be Takeshta or Takesha loses, but
<v Speaker 1>by losing it results in him being kicked out of
<v Speaker 1>the don Kallis family. The fans were already cheering for
<v Speaker 1>this guy. I mean, they love him even though it's
<v Speaker 1>a heel faction, so they're dying to really cheer for
<v Speaker 1>him against the Callous family. It's only a matter of
<v Speaker 1>time before he either quits or he gets kicked out,
<v Speaker 1>So him losing could have and still might necessitate the
<v Speaker 1>don Kallus family kicking him out and saying he can't
<v Speaker 1>get the job done, he's a loser. Okata gets in
<v Speaker 1>Callous's ear. You gotta get rid of this guy. He's
<v Speaker 1>a weak link, and they boot him out, and it
<v Speaker 1>seems like that may be the direction that we're going
<v Speaker 1>in here, especially after that handshake, I think him going
<v Speaker 1>back and shaking hands with Moxley. We better get a
<v Speaker 1>segment on Dynamite. You know. Sometimes they'll do this shit
<v Speaker 1>and then they let weeks go by, Like there needs
<v Speaker 1>to be something on Dynamite this Wednesday on that post
<v Speaker 1>revolution show to follow up on what we saw here,
<v Speaker 1>some kind of family meeting in the ring or something,
<v Speaker 1>and I want to see some interaction with him and Okada.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I'd like to see coming out of this.
<v Speaker 1>But again, the fans love the guy, so they're just
<v Speaker 1>they're dying for him to pull the trigger and get
<v Speaker 1>the hell out of this group. But we weren't done yet.
<v Speaker 1>That was the end of the Taqeshta portion of things. Moxlay.
<v Speaker 1>He goes to leave through the crowd with Pack and
<v Speaker 1>Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuda, and the lights go out
<v Speaker 1>and we got a very corny video. It's like something
<v Speaker 1>out of a horror movie. We got a video of
<v Speaker 1>a doctor who was tending to someone who looks like
<v Speaker 1>they're standing in a tank and he awakens like some
<v Speaker 1>great sea monster, and the monster turned out to be
<v Speaker 1>will Ospray. Then they cut back to the arena and
<v Speaker 1>they play his music. They could have just played his
<v Speaker 1>fucking music. Did we really didn't need this bullshit. The
<v Speaker 1>lights go out, you hear elevation or elevates whatever, and
<v Speaker 1>then out comes will Ospray. So they did play his music.
<v Speaker 1>And he comes out and he's back, and he rips
<v Speaker 1>his shirt off, and he looks like he's in great shape.
<v Speaker 1>And he sprints to the ring and he blasts Moxley,
<v Speaker 1>who had gotten back into the ring. He blasts him
<v Speaker 1>with a hidden blade and the death Riders swarm him.
<v Speaker 1>He fights them off with a double handspring pelee kick.
<v Speaker 1>That's to Youyda and Pack okay, and then another hidden
<v Speaker 1>blade to Daniel Garcia, and then he hits a sky
<v Speaker 1>twister press onto the pile outside the ring. This man
<v Speaker 1>just came back, literally, this is his comeback appearance from
<v Speaker 1>major neck surgery, and this fucking guy is out there
<v Speaker 1>doing a sky twister press on his first night back.
<v Speaker 1>I certainly hope he is one hundred percent back in
<v Speaker 1>tip top shape here, not partially cleared if he's already
<v Speaker 1>out there doing will Osprey stuff, But in any event,
<v Speaker 1>back inside, he tried for something on Moxley who escaped
<v Speaker 1>to booze from the crowd. So you know, from top
<v Speaker 1>heel in the company to beloved babyface and now back
<v Speaker 1>to being a heel. This this arc for John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>is very weird, very very weird, but it's very clear
<v Speaker 1>the story is Osprey looking to seek revenge on Moxley
<v Speaker 1>and the Death Riders for putting him out of action.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, storyline wise, it makes sense. You know, they're
<v Speaker 1>the ones who put him on the shelf, They're the
<v Speaker 1>ones who caused him to have a neck injury. Why
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't he want to go after them as soon as
<v Speaker 1>he comes back. So that's his target now. An ex
<v Speaker 1>caliber on commentary said, Moxley has worked his way into
<v Speaker 1>the hearts of the fans, but he still has some
<v Speaker 1>crimes of the past to pay for. Indeed, he does
<v Speaker 1>not all of his old sins have been forgiven. So
<v Speaker 1>it looks like Osprey is gonna be challenging soon enough
<v Speaker 1>for the Continental title. Maybe he's the one. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if they're going to have him against Moxley, then it
<v Speaker 1>seems pretty clear to me that he's gonna end up
<v Speaker 1>with that championship because for all the people that Moxley
<v Speaker 1>now has beaten, including Takashta. If you're gonna have him
<v Speaker 1>in a feud with well Osprey and the two of
<v Speaker 1>them are gonna go out there and have a continental
<v Speaker 1>title match and he beats Ospray, what is the end
<v Speaker 1>game here, Like, what is the end goal for Moxley
<v Speaker 1>in that title if he just beats Osprey and moves
<v Speaker 1>on to who exactly? Right? So it seems like that's
<v Speaker 1>they're looking I think at will Osprey fighting for that
<v Speaker 1>championship in lieu of him going after the world title
<v Speaker 1>at Wembley this year, and I was wondering if they
<v Speaker 1>were going to hold off on that. It all depended
<v Speaker 1>on when he was back. But with all these videos
<v Speaker 1>they've been airing, it seem pretty clear he was going
<v Speaker 1>to be back at some point in the spring. But
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that they want to just vault him
<v Speaker 1>right into the Owen and he wins the Owen and
<v Speaker 1>he gets a world title match, you know, at Wembley.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I mean after tonight, it doesn't feel
<v Speaker 1>to me like that's the the likely direction here, But
<v Speaker 1>it's early yet. They could do a match with him
<v Speaker 1>in Moxley a Dynasty and by the time the Owen
<v Speaker 1>rolls around, they've already feuded and it's over. And then
<v Speaker 1>he goes on to you know, compete in the Owen,
<v Speaker 1>and who knows, he may still win the whole thing.
<v Speaker 1>But having will Osprey back is a good thing. Having
<v Speaker 1>him back on the active roster is a big plus
<v Speaker 1>for Tony Kah. It's another bullet in the chamber. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe is due back soon as well. I think
<v Speaker 1>the Hurt Syndicate they should be back on television any
<v Speaker 1>week now. I think Bobby Lashley is all healed up
<v Speaker 1>from whatever it was that he was going through. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what the fuck is going on with Jay White,
<v Speaker 1>but it's good for them to get some of these
<v Speaker 1>names back. We had the Babes of Wrath defending the
<v Speaker 1>aw women's tag team titles against the Divine Dominion Megan
<v Speaker 1>Bain and Lena Cross. In the back. Before the match,
<v Speaker 1>Renee asked Willow if she's been cleared to work with
<v Speaker 1>the bad shoulder, and Willow said that she was, but
<v Speaker 1>she was clearly still hurting. So right at the bell,
<v Speaker 1>Cross in Bain they launched Willow's shoulder first into the
<v Speaker 1>ring post. She did manage to recover. Eventually, she made
<v Speaker 1>a hot tag with the one arm pounce sent Baine
<v Speaker 1>to the outside. She spiked Lena with a DVD. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Willows spun out of a jackhammer into a backslide, same
<v Speaker 1>way that she won on the pre show, but this
<v Speaker 1>time only got two baining Cross. For the finish, they
<v Speaker 1>hit a lifting It wasn't really a choke slam. It
<v Speaker 1>kind of grabbed her under the arm and lifted Willow
<v Speaker 1>up into the air and slammed her down hard and
<v Speaker 1>lean across. Lost to her on the pre show, covered
<v Speaker 1>Willow on the main card and pinned her to win
<v Speaker 1>the tag team titles for the Divine Dominion, and honest
<v Speaker 1>to God, my first thought when the match was over
<v Speaker 1>was poor Penelope Forward. What must she be thinking watching
<v Speaker 1>this at home? That should have been her. They were
<v Speaker 1>gonna win those tag team titles her and Megan Bain
<v Speaker 1>and she lost her spot and evidently, based on what
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kah said last week her her ankle injury. He
<v Speaker 1>never said if it's broken or a bad sprain, it
<v Speaker 1>could just be a really bad but he was talking like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>her injury is gonna keep her out longer than we thought,
<v Speaker 1>so she's not gonna be back for a while. But
<v Speaker 1>she's watching this going. Man, I just can't catch a break.
<v Speaker 1>And I gotta tell you, Like, I'm watching Meghan Ban
<v Speaker 1>and Leana Cross out there right two you know, tall
<v Speaker 1>women on the roster, they walk out there. They look
<v Speaker 1>to me, it's like the female version of the Skyscrapers.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, this team works so much better than Meghan
<v Speaker 1>Bin and Penelope Ford did. Like you just look at
<v Speaker 1>them and they look like a formidable team. And now
<v Speaker 1>they're the tag team champions, So hey, long may they rain.
<v Speaker 1>It seemed pretty clear this was gonna be the outcome,
<v Speaker 1>especially after Willow won on the pre show. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>what are you gonna do? Are you gonna have lean
<v Speaker 1>across lose to a backslide on the pre show and
<v Speaker 1>then send them out there on the main car to
<v Speaker 1>lose again? Yeah, if your fucking brain dead, you would
<v Speaker 1>do that. So it seemed pretty clear we were gonna
<v Speaker 1>get new champions here, and deservedly so. Swarp Strictly one
<v Speaker 1>on one with Brody King Brian Danielson at this point
<v Speaker 1>subbed in for Nigel McGinnis on commentary so for the
<v Speaker 1>remainder of the show, we had Danielson ex Caliber and
<v Speaker 1>Tony Schavani. Swerve went after the right hand. If you
<v Speaker 1>remember the angle they did on the Go Home Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>this past week where he he snapped the bad wrist
<v Speaker 1>of Brody King over the rope, he went after the wrist.
<v Speaker 1>Strickland exposed the bottom turn buckle, tried to curb stomp
<v Speaker 1>him onto it. Brody avoided that and he set Swerve
<v Speaker 1>up against the exposed bottom buckle. He connected on his
<v Speaker 1>running cannon ball, so he got that hanging sleeper on
<v Speaker 1>Swerve over the apron and Swerve went out and he
<v Speaker 1>just kind of crumbled to the floor. So King went
<v Speaker 1>out after him. He was looking for a gonzo bomb.
<v Speaker 1>The patting outside of the ring had been pulled up,
<v Speaker 1>so he had the exposed concrete there just outside of
<v Speaker 1>the ring. He was going to give him a gonzo
<v Speaker 1>bomb on the concrete. Strickland escaped and he followed with
<v Speaker 1>a vertebreaker. He gave Brody King a vertebraker on the
<v Speaker 1>concrete outside the ring, so King barely broke the count
<v Speaker 1>back inside, but when he got back in, he rolled
<v Speaker 1>right into a curb stomp, but he kicked out at one.
<v Speaker 1>He no sold multiple house call kicks in addition to
<v Speaker 1>a vertebraker on the exposed concrete. Did I mention that,
<v Speaker 1>so he no sold some house call kicks. He would
<v Speaker 1>not give in until Swerve finally connected with a third kick,
<v Speaker 1>and with that he got the win. After the match,
<v Speaker 1>Strickland ordered Prince Nanau to go grab a cinder block
<v Speaker 1>from under the ring and bring it inside, which he did,
<v Speaker 1>and they placed Brody's face down on it the or
<v Speaker 1>his head. He was going to give him a curb
<v Speaker 1>stomp onto the cinder block when Kenny Omega's music hits.
<v Speaker 1>He made it back from Japan. He did all of
<v Speaker 1>his capcom duties, and now he's back and he rushes
<v Speaker 1>to the ring to make the save, and Omega helped
<v Speaker 1>Brody to his feet, not on Strickland. They retreated up
<v Speaker 1>the ramp. I thought that this was a good brutal brawl.
<v Speaker 1>They found a way to be violent without being overly
<v Speaker 1>violent or bloody because we had a Texas death match
<v Speaker 1>coming up in the main event. Would have been nice
<v Speaker 1>if other people on this show would have heeded the
<v Speaker 1>same thing and would have left that to the Texas
<v Speaker 1>Death Match, but other other wrestlers have other ideas. But
<v Speaker 1>it was a match with an obvious outcome under no
<v Speaker 1>circumstances should swerve. Strickland have been losing this match, right,
<v Speaker 1>he had to win this match. They kept Brody looking
<v Speaker 1>strong in defeat, hence all the house call kicks and
<v Speaker 1>everything he was kicking out of but in the end,
<v Speaker 1>the right person won. I gotta say though, they got
<v Speaker 1>to be They got to do better on communication here.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how they do it as far as
<v Speaker 1>agent ing backstage. If they have a system similar to
<v Speaker 1>WWE in terms of how you know it operates, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not there, so I'm not sure. But all of these
<v Speaker 1>strong style kickouts at one like, we had at least
<v Speaker 1>three or four of them, maybe more, at least three
<v Speaker 1>or four times in different matches on this show. The
<v Speaker 1>kickout at one spot, Yeah, it's one thing, like we
<v Speaker 1>have blood in multiple matches and this and multiple match
<v Speaker 1>but like something like that, you shouldn't be doing that three,
<v Speaker 1>four or five times on the same show. You would
<v Speaker 1>think that there would be some communication between some of
<v Speaker 1>these parties here, but evidently that's not the case. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's something that they should do a better job of.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't think that that's something that should be
<v Speaker 1>seen repeatedly, over and over and over again. And we're
<v Speaker 1>barely halfway into this fucking show. We've already had it
<v Speaker 1>three or four times. I mean, I know the fans
<v Speaker 1>popped for it, but do we need it in every match?
<v Speaker 1>So the fans were happy to see Kenny. Think it
<v Speaker 1>would have meant more if we didn't have so many
<v Speaker 1>returns on the same show, right, we had Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>and we had Copeland and Christian and we I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we had will Osprey. I think it was overload. I
<v Speaker 1>think they probably would have been better off saving one
<v Speaker 1>of these for TV on Wednesday. Who knows, maybe somebody
<v Speaker 1>else will return on Wednesday, maybe j White, maybe Switchblade
<v Speaker 1>will return on Wednesday. I don't know. But it's good
<v Speaker 1>to have you know, Omega back now so that we
<v Speaker 1>can set up for Omega and Swerve. I mean, that
<v Speaker 1>would seem to me to be the match for Vancouver
<v Speaker 1>next month. I don't know who MJF defends against if
<v Speaker 1>it's not against Swerve on that pay per view, but
<v Speaker 1>we got to get a rematch between Kenny and Swerve.
<v Speaker 1>We had Tecla against Chris Statlander for the aw Women's
<v Speaker 1>World Championship best two out of three falls. Tecla tried
<v Speaker 1>using her belt to whip Statlander like they were picking
<v Speaker 1>up with their scrap match that they had on Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>a month ago. Referee, they'll pull the belt away. Tecla
<v Speaker 1>got an O'Connor roll into a bridge right next to
<v Speaker 1>the ropes, which allowed her to reach out and grab
<v Speaker 1>the rope. Referee did and see it, and so she
<v Speaker 1>was able to score the first fall because Paul Turner
<v Speaker 1>never saw it. So Tecla goes up one nothing. This
<v Speaker 1>was about four minutes into the match. That's what I
<v Speaker 1>love about these two out of three falls matches, doesn't
<v Speaker 1>matter what company you do them in. Like always first
<v Speaker 1>fall within the first three minutes, four minutes, it's over.
<v Speaker 1>It's comical to me, like you will have these matches
<v Speaker 1>and they will throw everything at each other and it
<v Speaker 1>will take forever to get a winner. And then you
<v Speaker 1>have a two out of three falls match and get
<v Speaker 1>your first pin in the first you know, fucking ninety
<v Speaker 1>seconds of the match, all right on to fall number two.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, well, I even have a two out of
<v Speaker 1>three falls match, so Techla took her time gloating outside.
<v Speaker 1>Stat Lander flew in with a basement dropkick, and the
<v Speaker 1>crowd got real quiet for a while, Like in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of this match, they got real quiet, not rawn
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown quiet, but they got quiet. To their credit though,
<v Speaker 1>they did a good job I think of building, you know,
<v Speaker 1>they kind of slowed things down for a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>and then they just gradually built it back up, and
<v Speaker 1>by the end in the closing minutes, the fans were
<v Speaker 1>into it. Tecla later on got an octopus supplied Statlander
<v Speaker 1>swung her around into a Sunday Night fever, and she
<v Speaker 1>got the pin to tie things up at one fall apiece.
<v Speaker 1>This was about fifteen minutes into the match. Just as
<v Speaker 1>the third and final fall was starting, Tecla raked the
<v Speaker 1>eyes and she shoved Statlander into Paul Turner, who bumped
<v Speaker 1>outside the ring. So Tecla kicks Turner in the ribs
<v Speaker 1>outside before stripping him of his belt and bringing it
<v Speaker 1>back into the ring with her. Statlander, though, got the
<v Speaker 1>belt away and just w the shit out of her
<v Speaker 1>with it, and then hit another Sunday Night fever. She
<v Speaker 1>got the visual pin, but Visual pins do not win championships,
<v Speaker 1>so we need a referee. Instead, here comes Sky Blue
<v Speaker 1>and Julia Hart. They hit the ring, they get whipped
<v Speaker 1>though for their troubles and they get dropped with a
<v Speaker 1>discus lariat. Paul Turner returns and he sees Statlander is
<v Speaker 1>holding the belt, the leather belt, and he takes it
<v Speaker 1>away from her as Statlander turns and she turns right
<v Speaker 1>into a spear, and then Tekla follows with two curb
<v Speaker 1>stops for the win to retain the title. All of
<v Speaker 1>the shenanigans at the end, you know it was done
<v Speaker 1>to protect Statlander, especially if they want to run this back.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't get the impression of watching this, even though
<v Speaker 1>you can argue, you know, she had the match won
<v Speaker 1>right the visual pin and then the Sisters of Sin
<v Speaker 1>ran in. All this bullshit happened. She should get another match.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe she will, maybe on TV. I don't know, though,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't have this overwhelming feeling like Okay, they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna get another pay per view match out of it.
<v Speaker 1>We've now had two stipulation matches between them, We've had
<v Speaker 1>a scrap match, and we've had two out of three falls.
<v Speaker 1>Do they do a cage match with the idea that
<v Speaker 1>you keep the sisters of Sin out. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I just didn't feel to me like we're guaranteed to
<v Speaker 1>have a rematch here. We might, we might. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know in terms of Statlander, honestly, I don't know. If
<v Speaker 1>they don't go back to a rematch, what her future holds.
<v Speaker 1>Where does she go from here? If she doesn't get
<v Speaker 1>a rematch, what's next for her? What does she challenge for?
<v Speaker 1>What does she fight for? I don't know. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>think this was as good as their last match. I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was solid. I just think their last match
<v Speaker 1>was better. We had Mystico and jet Speed against Kazuchka Okada,
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis, the brand new aw Trios champions,
<v Speaker 1>the don Kallus family putting their titles on the line.
<v Speaker 1>All kinds of big moves here, I mean, as you
<v Speaker 1>would expect with jet Speed in there. I wouldn't say
<v Speaker 1>the best night that Mystico has had. He barely got
<v Speaker 1>enough of a code read at one point, but the
<v Speaker 1>fans were into his stuff. Mystico stopped Fletcher from hitting
<v Speaker 1>his brainbuster, and the La Mystica connects Mike Bailey, he
<v Speaker 1>dropped Mark Davis with a kick, and Kevin Knight came
<v Speaker 1>off the top with the UFO splash to win back
<v Speaker 1>the trio's titles. So as quickly as the Callus Family
<v Speaker 1>took those titles, they have been taken away and once
<v Speaker 1>again we have new Trios champions, only this time it
<v Speaker 1>is with Mystico and not Hangman, but Pyro shot off
<v Speaker 1>on stage while the new champions all celebrated Knight in Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>they put Mystico up their shoulders and they put a
<v Speaker 1>graphic up that said Mystico is now all elite, and
<v Speaker 1>the fans cheered, and they're parading him around the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Ex Caliber made it very clear on commentary that he
<v Speaker 1>is representing both CML and AW, so we have another
<v Speaker 1>dual contract signing here. And Mystico was bowing to the
<v Speaker 1>fans and they played his music from CML and he
<v Speaker 1>was trying to get the fans into it. It's not
<v Speaker 1>as culturally significant here as it is there, but the
<v Speaker 1>fans were happy for him and some of them were
<v Speaker 1>singing along, and it was a nice moment for the
<v Speaker 1>people who were worried. I mean, I don't think too
<v Speaker 1>many people were. People who use their brain should know
<v Speaker 1>better for the people who were worried. Oh, Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>he took two pins a couple of weeks ago. Oh
<v Speaker 1>the push is over. Oh my god. He he lost
<v Speaker 1>to the World Champion, and then he lost again in
<v Speaker 1>the main event. And I'm telling you, like, he's been
<v Speaker 1>getting a lot of TV time, he's been getting a
<v Speaker 1>lot of attention and love from Tony Kahan. He's going
<v Speaker 1>to be okay. He was the one who took the
<v Speaker 1>losing fall when they lost the trio's titles, and he
<v Speaker 1>was the one who got the winning fall when they
<v Speaker 1>won them back, So all is well, he's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>just fine. I actually didn't think they were going to
<v Speaker 1>take the belts off them this quickly. I was surprised
<v Speaker 1>to see them put the belts back on Jet Speed
<v Speaker 1>and Mystic Goo. I didn't know what his status was.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, apparently if he's all elite, then they got
<v Speaker 1>no worries there. Not that he's going to be full time.
<v Speaker 1>He's still CMLL's guy. But if he's under contract to
<v Speaker 1>AW that means they'll have greater access to him. So
<v Speaker 1>don't really have a whole lot else to say about this.
<v Speaker 1>You know he's all elite. Tony continues to sign a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people. He's just signed all three members of
<v Speaker 1>The Dogs and Mystico now, and who knows who's next.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he's got six more lined up that we're
<v Speaker 1>not even aware of yet. This week's episode is sponsored

<v Speaker 1>have Andrede Liedelo against Bandido. This one, this one. I
<v Speaker 1>told you in advance of this that this was the
<v Speaker 1>match I was most looking forward to coming into this show.
<v Speaker 1>It had no real story whatsoever. I just was looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to the actual match. And I noticed, also, especially
<v Speaker 1>with the placement of this on the show, a lot
<v Speaker 1>of lucha influence because we he just came off the
<v Speaker 1>Mystico match and now here in this match, we have
<v Speaker 1>Andrade against Bandido, So a lot of lucha influence here,
<v Speaker 1>back to back on this pay per view, crowd was
<v Speaker 1>already chanting for Andrade at the beginning of this to
<v Speaker 1>take his pants off. I was not one of those people.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying there were a lot of people in
<v Speaker 1>the crowd who wanted him to take his pants off.
<v Speaker 1>It was Bandido, though, who tried to do the gimmick first.
<v Speaker 1>And he tried to rip his pants off, and he
<v Speaker 1>kind of did, but then his pant leg was stuck
<v Speaker 1>and he was taking forever he was trying to pull
<v Speaker 1>the pants off, and so androde just got he just
<v Speaker 1>got tired, and he just came over and fucking blasted
<v Speaker 1>him and knocked him down, which I thought was pretty funny.
<v Speaker 1>So then Androte slowed the pace down. He drove Bandido
<v Speaker 1>throat first on the barricade, and he went to the
<v Speaker 1>steps outside and he gave the people what they want wanted,
<v Speaker 1>and he pulled the pants off. And don Callous on commentary,
<v Speaker 1>I mean he probably had a chubby. I mean he
<v Speaker 1>was he was feeling he was feeling good, like, oh man,
<v Speaker 1>this is great, Like you could you could just smell it, right,
<v Speaker 1>this is fantastic. I'm like, calm down, buddy. So he
<v Speaker 1>takes the pants off and he approaches a female admirer
<v Speaker 1>in the front row and he gives her a selfie.
<v Speaker 1>So there was a spot where Androde missed a top
<v Speaker 1>rope double stomp that led to a released German from
<v Speaker 1>Bandido and the back of Andrade's head clip the not
<v Speaker 1>even the turn buckle, it clipped the bottom rope, which,
<v Speaker 1>as they pointed out, is not real rope. Wwe uses
<v Speaker 1>real rope. It's cable. So his head hit the back
<v Speaker 1>of the cable. Callous left commentary to go check on
<v Speaker 1>his man and make sure he was okay. Later on,
<v Speaker 1>Androtte landed a huge moon salt over the post and
<v Speaker 1>he landed on his feet. He took out Bandido and
<v Speaker 1>and there was another female fan and he went over
<v Speaker 1>and he gave her a selfie as well. It's white
<v Speaker 1>the ladies man. So later on, Bandido hit an avalanche
<v Speaker 1>fallaway slam for a near fall. He went for a
<v Speaker 1>stretch muffler. Androtti was able to grab the ropes to
<v Speaker 1>break it. Bandido he set up for a twenty one
<v Speaker 1>plex and Androte he shot up and he hit him
<v Speaker 1>with a back elbow. Bandido caught Androtte with a rolling
<v Speaker 1>heel kick at one point that the announcers they could
<v Speaker 1>not fathom how he was able to hit this. So
<v Speaker 1>then Bandido hit a twenty one plex to Androtti, who
<v Speaker 1>was laying prone on the mat, which looked fucking incredible.
<v Speaker 1>Just picked him up right off the fucking mat. Hit
<v Speaker 1>the move, only got a near fall, so he went
<v Speaker 1>for another twenty one plex, a proper one, Androtte this
<v Speaker 1>time landed on his feet, and then he caught Bandido
<v Speaker 1>with another back elbow, Androte went to the middle rope.
<v Speaker 1>He hit the DM, which is his finish, and he
<v Speaker 1>got the win, which I figured he would. Very strange
<v Speaker 1>they didn't make a bigger deal about the fact that
<v Speaker 1>he just pinned the ring of honor World Champion. Evidently
<v Speaker 1>this is not a big deal. Certainly no indication he's
<v Speaker 1>going to be challenging him for the championship. But he
<v Speaker 1>got to win over Bandido. Great match, great match here
<v Speaker 1>between these two, him beating the ROH world champion. I
<v Speaker 1>mean again, what does it really mean? You know, he
<v Speaker 1>hasn't even defended the title this year. We're midway through March,
<v Speaker 1>not a single title defense for Bandido. What does it mean?
<v Speaker 1>We had Darby, Allen, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong. This
<v Speaker 1>is the point in the show where I said this
<v Speaker 1>should have been on Dynamite, This should have been on TV.
<v Speaker 1>We could have done without this. We should have gone
<v Speaker 1>right into the main event. This did not need to
<v Speaker 1>be on this show my opinion, Darby, Allen, Orange Cassidy,
<v Speaker 1>Roderick Strong against David Finley gave kid In Clark Connors
<v Speaker 1>the dogs. It's the dogs everybody. Alan tried to charge
<v Speaker 1>at Gabe Kid He went to the apron right, so
<v Speaker 1>he was going to charge at him. As Darby goes
<v Speaker 1>to charge, Clark Connors comes from out of nowhere from
<v Speaker 1>inside the ring, diving through the ropes and he spears
<v Speaker 1>Darby clear through the ropes and they both went crashing
<v Speaker 1>to the floor. And I yelped when I saw this.
<v Speaker 1>It looked terrible, terrible, Not that the move looked I
<v Speaker 1>mean it looked devastating. It just looked terrible and like
<v Speaker 1>they took a terrible landing. Right, it looks super impressive
<v Speaker 1>but unbelievably dangerous. If you just land the wrong way there,
<v Speaker 1>then you are fucked. So that was and they showed
<v Speaker 1>a replay of it that was wild that spot. So
<v Speaker 1>the dogs try. They tied the tag rope to a
<v Speaker 1>chain around Darby's neck and then they took turns attacking
<v Speaker 1>him while his partners were down on the floor outside.
<v Speaker 1>So later on Orange Cassidy, he went to ringside and
<v Speaker 1>he grabs zip ties and a pair of scissors and
<v Speaker 1>he cut Darby free from the tag rope. Darby immediately
<v Speaker 1>went up top. He hit the dogs with a coffin
<v Speaker 1>drop on the floor. Gabe Kid got Darby's skateboard and
<v Speaker 1>he tried to hit him with it. Darby cut him
<v Speaker 1>off and he knocks him off the entrance ramp. So
<v Speaker 1>now Gabe Kid is down below and Darby takes the
<v Speaker 1>skateboard and he jumps up into the air, puts the
<v Speaker 1>skateboard underneath his feet and he comes down with it
<v Speaker 1>right over the back of Gabe's head. So Darby gets
<v Speaker 1>back to the ring. He hits Finley with a coffin
<v Speaker 1>drop to the back and they show Gabe Kid it
<v Speaker 1>cut back to him. He's still over. He's standing next
<v Speaker 1>to the stage and evidently he was tied up and
<v Speaker 1>he's unable to free himself because he's freaking out right.
<v Speaker 1>He wants to get back into the ring, but he can't.
<v Speaker 1>There's nothing he can do. Maybe that's where the zip
<v Speaker 1>ties came in. I don't know. And that sucks for
<v Speaker 1>him because back in the ring, Orange Cassidy hit Clark
<v Speaker 1>Connors with an orange punch, Roddy hit the end of Heartache,
<v Speaker 1>and Cassidy covered Connor's for the wind. You know, during
<v Speaker 1>this match, we got a very casual f bomb on
<v Speaker 1>commentary from Tony Schavani. By this point, he was it
<v Speaker 1>was late in the show and he was just check
<v Speaker 1>he was checked out. He's just casually thrown around F bomb. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>fuck this, fuck that. He didn't care. I can't blame him.
<v Speaker 1>I was checked out too by that point. So as
<v Speaker 1>the baby Faces headed up the ramp, Kid was still
<v Speaker 1>standing there. He was still tied to whatever he was
<v Speaker 1>tied to, unable to break free. He's looking up at Darby.
<v Speaker 1>They're spitting at each other and he's clearly telling Darby,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna kill you like you're a dead man. I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to kill you. So this feud will continue. I
<v Speaker 1>thought the dogs would win. I thought they should win.
<v Speaker 1>If this is setting up Darby's death on Dynamite at
<v Speaker 1>the hands of Gabe Kid on Wednesday. Then that's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Clearly the threat has been put out there. But I
<v Speaker 1>thought there should have been a win for the Dogs.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they're the new guys there, and I think
<v Speaker 1>you established them as much as you possibly can with
<v Speaker 1>some big wins. This was their first big pay per
<v Speaker 1>view match and they lost. But it's all on the
<v Speaker 1>follow up. You know, Gabe Kid, he made a threat.
<v Speaker 1>Now he has to follow through on that threat. What
<v Speaker 1>is he going to do? What is he what can
<v Speaker 1>he possibly do to Darby Allen? I actually shudder to
<v Speaker 1>think what he could do. I'm sure whatever it is,
<v Speaker 1>Darby's like, oh shit, I'm down for that. Not if
<v Speaker 1>Darby kills himself for well, unfortunately, with all the risks
<v Speaker 1>he takes, it's very likely. So anyway, at Long Last
<v Speaker 1>it was main event time. We had MJF defending the
<v Speaker 1>AW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page in a Texas debt.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, no, who said that road Dog will join
<v Speaker 1>AW and manage of the Dogs instead of a bitch.
<v Speaker 1>Don't give them any idea he's signing. He's in signing mode.
<v Speaker 1>Right now, he's signing everybody. I'll put nothing past him.
<v Speaker 1>He'll bring Road Dog in to do some sort of
<v Speaker 1>New Age Outlaws reunion because that worked out so well
<v Speaker 1>the last time we saw that in TNA when they
<v Speaker 1>were on the app with WWA or the Three Live
<v Speaker 1>Crew shooting on Triple H. Yeah, we don't need that again.
<v Speaker 1>Texas Deathmatch. If Hangman does not win the championship, he
<v Speaker 1>can never again challenge for the AW World Title, or
<v Speaker 1>as I call it, the Cody Road stipulation, So the
<v Speaker 1>match can only end when a wrestler submits or is
<v Speaker 1>unable to answer the ten count. There are no pinfalls,
<v Speaker 1>there are no submissions, dqs, none of that bullshit. Hangman
<v Speaker 1>comes out not to his usual theme. There's like a
<v Speaker 1>horn player on stage playing him to the ring. So
<v Speaker 1>then we got a video package and this was actually
<v Speaker 1>well done. It was MJF riding a horse through what
<v Speaker 1>looked like an abandoned Western I have a feeling I
<v Speaker 1>know who filmed this, by the way, shout out to
<v Speaker 1>him if he's listening, but he's And it also looked
<v Speaker 1>very similar to the vignettes they did previously with Bandido.
<v Speaker 1>But he's on his horse, dressed like a cowboy, and
<v Speaker 1>he's riding through this old western looking town and he
<v Speaker 1>gets off the horse and he goes over to a
<v Speaker 1>grave that is marked for Hangman, and he pisses on Hangman.
<v Speaker 1>And he had a nice long piss too. I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>he probably drank a couple of gallons before this, but
<v Speaker 1>he pissed all over Hangman's grave. Then they cut back
<v Speaker 1>to the arena and here comes the champion and MJF
<v Speaker 1>walks out and he's wearing a cowboy hat, he's wearing
<v Speaker 1>a poncho, and he's wearing tights to, you know, pay
<v Speaker 1>homage to the late great Terry Funk, one of the
<v Speaker 1>all time greats. It was basically the same tights that
<v Speaker 1>Terry used to wear. He was dressed like Terry Funk.
<v Speaker 1>So MJF he left through the crowd early Hangman followed
<v Speaker 1>him into the crowd. MJF was already bleeding from the mouth.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even see how it happened. He probably got
<v Speaker 1>kicked in the mouth or something. But like we're like
<v Speaker 1>ninety seconds into this match, he's already bleeding from the mouth.
<v Speaker 1>So they're still in the crowd and a fan hands
<v Speaker 1>Hangman a beer. He downs the beer. Hangman brought out
<v Speaker 1>a couple minutes later, the staple gun of people still
<v Speaker 1>coming up with ideas to do the New Age outlaws
<v Speaker 1>against Cope and Christian This is horrible, don't give them ideas.
<v Speaker 1>So he has a staple gun and Hangman grabs a
<v Speaker 1>birthday card off the mat and he uses it to
<v Speaker 1>cut MJF in between his fingers. Then he staples the
<v Speaker 1>birthday card to mjf's chest. He rips it right off
<v Speaker 1>his sha It was either I think it was a car,
<v Speaker 1>a birthday cart or some sort of It said Happy
<v Speaker 1>Birthday on it, but he staples it to his chest
<v Speaker 1>and then immediately yanks it off. So Page went to ringside.
<v Speaker 1>He came back with a window frame, which he set
<v Speaker 1>down in the corner. MJF gouged his eyes and then
<v Speaker 1>he took the window frame and he shattered it on
<v Speaker 1>the mat, and then he looked into the camera and
<v Speaker 1>he said, I'm not gonna do that indie bullshit. Oh really, really,
<v Speaker 1>we have a mound of glass in the middle of
<v Speaker 1>the ring right now. You're gonna do the indie bullshit,
<v Speaker 1>and you're gonna like it. It's a hangman. He slams
<v Speaker 1>MJF onto the glass in the middle of the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and MJF goes to crawl out of the ring. Hangman
<v Speaker 1>grabs him by the legs and he goes, you're not
<v Speaker 1>going nowhere, pulls him back to the middle of the
<v Speaker 1>ring over the glass, and he's like pulling him around
<v Speaker 1>like a lawnmower, and he's going in circles, breaking his
<v Speaker 1>chest all over the glass. Again, we're mere minutes into
<v Speaker 1>this match here. So he goes and he pulls out
<v Speaker 1>a piece of barbed wire and he hits MJF in
<v Speaker 1>the head with it. MJF comes up bleeding very badly.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman then wraps it around mjf's mouth and he begins
<v Speaker 1>to pull back on the barbed wire, and it looked
<v Speaker 1>like it looked like something out of a horror movie
<v Speaker 1>where you would expect this would be one of those
<v Speaker 1>like big kills where he would like yank back and
<v Speaker 1>the person's like their jaw would be severed in half.
<v Speaker 1>That's what he was trying to do to this guy.
<v Speaker 1>So MJF comes back. He sliced Hangman's head open with
<v Speaker 1>one of the shards of glass, so we got double
<v Speaker 1>juice here in this match. MJF went to the floor,
<v Speaker 1>he came back with a broom and he swept the
<v Speaker 1>glass out of the rings. He's very smart. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why more people don't do that. MJF grabs a
<v Speaker 1>syringe at this point, and is where I just I
<v Speaker 1>just rolled my eyes at this, and I get that
<v Speaker 1>it was a callback to the match with Swerve in
<v Speaker 1>Hangman their cage match, But as soon as he grabbed
<v Speaker 1>the syringe, I said, again, again with this syringe, bullshit.
<v Speaker 1>And he brings the needle into the ring, and he
<v Speaker 1>takes the syringe and he jabs it into Hangman's cheek,
<v Speaker 1>his right cheek in one way and out the other.
<v Speaker 1>So you see the needle piercing the flesh and coming
<v Speaker 1>out the side of his face. And whatever was in
<v Speaker 1>the syringe, the water whatever it may have been saline solution,
<v Speaker 1>he's squirting it out of the syringe. Now, whatever was
<v Speaker 1>in the syringe, maybe he was just numbing him up
<v Speaker 1>so he wouldn't feel all the pain that he was
<v Speaker 1>about to inflict. I don't feel any differently about this
<v Speaker 1>than I did the first time I saw it. I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was just it's purely shock value. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's really all it is. It's stupid. I have no
<v Speaker 1>desire to see it. I just think it's dumb. It
<v Speaker 1>was dumb then, it was dumb now. So Hangman hit
<v Speaker 1>a dead eye. And by the way, Hangman had the
<v Speaker 1>syringe in his cheek for a little bit before he
<v Speaker 1>finally took it out, like he was fighting back with
<v Speaker 1>this fucking thing in his cheek. So he hit a
<v Speaker 1>dead eye on top of a chair in the ring
<v Speaker 1>that was laid flat and was wrapped in barbed wire.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman then hit a fallaway slam that launched MJF into
<v Speaker 1>the barbed wire chair that was set up in the corner.
<v Speaker 1>Later on, Hangman hit a dead eye off the apron,
<v Speaker 1>threw a table on the floor. MJF beat the referees count.
<v Speaker 1>At the last moment, Hangman tried to repeat the dead
<v Speaker 1>eye off the apron with another table on the floor. MJF, though,
<v Speaker 1>blocked it and he hit a tombstone pile driver through
<v Speaker 1>the table instead. Eventually, Hangman was able to make it
<v Speaker 1>back to his feet. MJF and Page they both pulled
<v Speaker 1>out light tubes a little bit later. Oh that's my
<v Speaker 1>that's my second favorite thing. Light tubes. So they each
<v Speaker 1>got one like they're in fucking star wars here and
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna face each other, face one another off here
<v Speaker 1>in a lightsaber battle. MJF he decides, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna back away from this, and he begins to
<v Speaker 1>go down the aisle and Hangman is in pursuit. So
<v Speaker 1>Hangman ended up getting the better of him. He took
<v Speaker 1>the light tube and he smashes it over mjf's back.
<v Speaker 1>Then he takes mjf's light tube and he smashes it
<v Speaker 1>over mjf's head. So Page got MJF back inside the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and then he pulled we're not done yet. Oh no, oh,
<v Speaker 1>because we had the syringe, right, We've had barbed wire,
<v Speaker 1>we've had staple guns, we've had tables, and we've had chairs,
<v Speaker 1>and we have had light tubes, and now we got
<v Speaker 1>to get the barbecue skewers. So Hangman grabs the skewers
<v Speaker 1>from under the ring and he tries to jab MJF
<v Speaker 1>in the head with him, MJF blocks it. They go
<v Speaker 1>back and forth and they're trying to use them on
<v Speaker 1>each other, and finally Page again it's like this just
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many were in there, and he
<v Speaker 1>just stabs him right at the top of his head
<v Speaker 1>and he's like jamming him in there, and some of
<v Speaker 1>them fall out and some of them stay in right,
<v Speaker 1>So he's been skewered. So he's, oh, glass, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>I forgot the glass. Yes, thank you. And so now
<v Speaker 1>he's got skewers sticking out of his head. So Page
<v Speaker 1>goes to the apron and he hits the buckshot lariot
<v Speaker 1>and some of the skewers go flying, and some of
<v Speaker 1>them are still in his head. So the referee begins
<v Speaker 1>to count. This is still not enough. MJF is up
<v Speaker 1>before the count of ten. So we've had skewers, glass right, everything.
<v Speaker 1>Oddly enough, one thing we did not have in this match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we had tax. Now MJF actually had
<v Speaker 1>a tables and tax match with Mark Briscoe back in September.
<v Speaker 1>Did we have thumb tacks in this match? I find
<v Speaker 1>that kind of odd that that's the one thing that
<v Speaker 1>was actually missing here. Yes, the uh yes, the skewers.
<v Speaker 1>I did notice that some of the skewers got stuck
<v Speaker 1>to his hair. So Hangman now introduces a double dog collar.
<v Speaker 1>We've now moved into the dog collar phase of this
<v Speaker 1>Texas Deathmatch, and he locks the collars around each of
<v Speaker 1>their necks and MJF realizes this and he starts to panic,
<v Speaker 1>and he begins to scream not again, not again, right,
<v Speaker 1>he's having flats to the dog collar match with Cmpunk,
<v Speaker 1>which they made reference did They never mentioned Punk, but
<v Speaker 1>they did reference that MJF has a history with these
<v Speaker 1>dog collars here at Revolution. So he tries to leave,
<v Speaker 1>Hangman pulls them back in and Hangman pulls a table
<v Speaker 1>out from under the ring. MJF is down on the
<v Speaker 1>apron and Hangman is yelling to the fans, does anybody
<v Speaker 1>have a lighter? No one did, so he pulled out
<v Speaker 1>a barbed wire board from under the ring. No problem,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just use this and he places the board on
<v Speaker 1>top of the other table. Now the fans begin to
<v Speaker 1>chant for fire, and again he tells the crowd, Hey,
<v Speaker 1>if you got a lighter, I'll be more than happy
<v Speaker 1>to give you what you want. Nobody came forward with
<v Speaker 1>a lighter. Maybe he genuinely forgot the lighter and he
<v Speaker 1>was like, hey, I need a lighter. Does anybody have one?
<v Speaker 1>And nobody had one, So Hangman gets back to the
<v Speaker 1>apron and they're fighting, and Hangman goes to the middle rope,
<v Speaker 1>but MJF grabs the chain from the dog collar and
<v Speaker 1>he yanks the chain and Hangman goes flying off the
<v Speaker 1>ropes down through the barbed wire table that he himself
<v Speaker 1>had set up. So Hangman eventually gets up at the
<v Speaker 1>very last moment, MJF begins whipping him with the chain
<v Speaker 1>and they're heading back now down the aisle towards the stage.
<v Speaker 1>So they're fighting on the stage and they're getting perilously
<v Speaker 1>close to the edge on the right side of the stage,
<v Speaker 1>and you can see MJF is kind of glancing behind him,
<v Speaker 1>like making sure that yeah, there's something there, because something
<v Speaker 1>bad's about to happen. And so sure enough, Hangman grabs
<v Speaker 1>him for like a belly to belly, right, he grabs
<v Speaker 1>him and holds him in tight and they both go
<v Speaker 1>flying off the stage and down through a table which explodes.
<v Speaker 1>I believe there was like a burst of flames at first, uh,
<v Speaker 1>and then there were just random sparks. But it was
<v Speaker 1>weird because when they went through the tape, when they
<v Speaker 1>initially crashed through the table. It looked like whatever the
<v Speaker 1>explosion was was like right in their fell I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be shocked. I'm kind of shocked that his eyebrows didn't
<v Speaker 1>get singed off. I mean, it looked like it was
<v Speaker 1>like right there, right in their fucking face. And they're
<v Speaker 1>laying there, like right next to each other, like they're
<v Speaker 1>laying in bed, like looking at each other. Right there,
<v Speaker 1>they're right next to each other, and they're lying in
<v Speaker 1>the rubble, and I'm thinking they're not gonna end this
<v Speaker 1>with no winner here. I mean, that would be a
<v Speaker 1>pretty fucking lame way to end this match. So the
<v Speaker 1>referee came over and he started counting, and he gets
<v Speaker 1>all the way up to nine, and both men get
<v Speaker 1>back to their feet. At nine, they no sold an explosion.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you know, sell that and get back
<v Speaker 1>to your feet. I mean there's nowhere to go from there,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what else is left to do. You've no
<v Speaker 1>soul death. So Page takes the chain, which again is
<v Speaker 1>still around mjf's neck, and he literally dog walks him
<v Speaker 1>back to I mean MJF is on all fours crawling
<v Speaker 1>back to the ring, and it looks like he is
<v Speaker 1>being walked like a dog, and the fans break into
<v Speaker 1>a chance of he's a good boy. He's a good
<v Speaker 1>but good boy. So Page goes for one last buck shot. MJF, though,
<v Speaker 1>kicks him in the crotch and he grabs the aw
<v Speaker 1>world title. He blasts him in the head with it.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman then exploded to his feet at the nine count
<v Speaker 1>to a big pop. Heer from the crowd, and he
<v Speaker 1>hits MJF in the head with the belt. One last
<v Speaker 1>buck shot is coming up, but MJF decks him with
<v Speaker 1>the dynamite diamond ring, which allowed MJF to hang Page
<v Speaker 1>over the top rope with the chain around his neck.
<v Speaker 1>Very much how Hangman won the championship from John Moxley
<v Speaker 1>in Texas back in July. In fact, that's exactly how
<v Speaker 1>he won the world championship. Now the same thing is
<v Speaker 1>being done to him and Hangman is losing oxygen. He's
<v Speaker 1>flailing around for a little bit and he's trying to
<v Speaker 1>hang on and he goes unconscious and MJF let's go
<v Speaker 1>and Hangman crumbles down to the floor. But before he
<v Speaker 1>gets down to the floor, as he's falling, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he falls forward and his head smacks the camera on
<v Speaker 1>the way down and it leaves this huge blood stain
<v Speaker 1>where now most of the lens is like blurry and
<v Speaker 1>there's like a gob of blood on the camera lens.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it added very nicely actually to things. It
<v Speaker 1>was kind of like one of those happy accidents that
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that that was planned. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>could have been plained, but if it wasn't, it was
<v Speaker 1>a happy accident because I just feel like it kind
<v Speaker 1>of fit the tone of the match here. But the
<v Speaker 1>referee is administering the count and Hangman is not moving
<v Speaker 1>and he hits ten and that's it. The match is over.
<v Speaker 1>MJF wins Texas Death. He is still the AW World
<v Speaker 1>Champion and Hangman Adam Page can never again, or so
<v Speaker 1>they say, challenge for the AW World type as of
<v Speaker 1>this moment, he can never again challenge for the AW
<v Speaker 1>World title. And you know ex caliber he called at
<v Speaker 1>the end of an era and Brian Danielson said that
<v Speaker 1>it's a sad day for AW fans. Hangman is They
<v Speaker 1>strap him to a stretcher and MJF climbs on top
<v Speaker 1>of him and holds up the championship as they go
<v Speaker 1>off the air. That's the parting image as the show ends.
<v Speaker 1>No interference. There was no swerve like I thought maybe
<v Speaker 1>there would be, so nobody came out. MJF beat Hangman
<v Speaker 1>at his own game. He beat him with his own stipulation.
<v Speaker 1>He played by the rules that Hangman set forth. Hangman
<v Speaker 1>did everything that you could possibly do to another human being.
<v Speaker 1>Dragged him in glass, He used every kind of weapon imaginable,
<v Speaker 1>bloodied this man multiple times. They went flying off a stage.
<v Speaker 1>They exploded together everything that happened in this match, and
<v Speaker 1>when it was over, MJF beat him fair and square.
<v Speaker 1>You could scream belt shot, you could scream dynamite, diamond ring.
<v Speaker 1>It's a fucking Texas death match. Okay, they were using
<v Speaker 1>skewers and staples. I think a diamond ring and a
<v Speaker 1>belt is actually pretty tame by comparison. Hangman used the
<v Speaker 1>belt too, by the way. He beat him fair and square,
<v Speaker 1>straight up at his own game. There's no story here
<v Speaker 1>where Hangman could be like, well, so and so you
<v Speaker 1>know how to help you out, and so screwed me.
<v Speaker 1>He's not the Drew McIntyre of aw. He wasn't screwed.
<v Speaker 1>He screwed himself by picking the stipulation. This was the
<v Speaker 1>match that he wanted. You live by the swords, you
<v Speaker 1>died by the sword, and that's what happened to Hangman
<v Speaker 1>here on this show. And when it was over, I
<v Speaker 1>was feeling a lot of things, you know, when this
<v Speaker 1>match was over. On the one hand, it was too much.
<v Speaker 1>And what I mean is they really wanted to literally
<v Speaker 1>do every single thing you could do, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>think you need to do every single thing every single time.
<v Speaker 1>I said this one forty five, it might have gone
<v Speaker 1>forty six minutes. It did not need to go that long.
<v Speaker 1>I think it could have been just as effective if
<v Speaker 1>you shaved off twelve to fifteen minutes. So I thought
<v Speaker 1>it was a little self indulgent, just with some of
<v Speaker 1>the stuff that they were doing. I did like the callbacks.
<v Speaker 1>I did like the callback, especially the dog collar stuff
<v Speaker 1>and then Mjf's reaction when he's realized that the dog
<v Speaker 1>collars were around their next I thought that was cool.
<v Speaker 1>This syringe stuff not a fan I could have done
<v Speaker 1>without that. I just think it's stupid. But I appreciate
<v Speaker 1>the callbacks to the past, including the finish, you know,
<v Speaker 1>the way that he lost the title match was the
<v Speaker 1>way that he won the championships, So I like all
<v Speaker 1>of that. In a Texas Death match, you know it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be bloody, you know it's going to be violent.
<v Speaker 1>They delivered that. If that's your thing, I don't see
<v Speaker 1>how you can find another Texas Death match, and they've
<v Speaker 1>done a bunch of them in this company, at least
<v Speaker 1>half a dozen different ones. I don't think you could
<v Speaker 1>find another one that was better than the one that
<v Speaker 1>we had tonight, even though again I thought it was
<v Speaker 1>longer than it had to be. There were some things
<v Speaker 1>they did. I didn't like orther, the light tubes and
<v Speaker 1>stuff like that. It was Texas death so you know
<v Speaker 1>what you're going to get coming into it. And I
<v Speaker 1>think that they lived up to the stipulation and then some.
<v Speaker 1>And I think back to when MJF had that Iron
<v Speaker 1>Man match with Brian Danielson. It was on this very
<v Speaker 1>pay per view a few years ago, and I've always
<v Speaker 1>maintained that is the best Iron Man match that I
<v Speaker 1>have ever seen. It is in the number one spot.
<v Speaker 1>And so you could argue now that MJF has been
<v Speaker 1>part of the number one Texas Death match that they
<v Speaker 1>have done here in AW. You know, he's got quite
<v Speaker 1>the resume that he's racked up, and not just stipulation matches.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just talking matches in general. This run that he
<v Speaker 1>has had so far has been pretty damn good. And
<v Speaker 1>you know, AW he talks about how everything's up. You know,
<v Speaker 1>TV ratings are up and ticket sales are up. They've
<v Speaker 1>got a momentum right now with him as the champion.
<v Speaker 1>He's the face of that company right now, and they
<v Speaker 1>have a momentum that they did not have in my opinion,
<v Speaker 1>six months ago, or nine months ago, or even a
<v Speaker 1>year ago, it would have been foolish to take that
<v Speaker 1>championship off of MJ. Why would you do that? Why
<v Speaker 1>would you take the belt away from him? Right now?
<v Speaker 1>He's just getting into the thick of it. He's got
<v Speaker 1>a million other people waiting in line, and as great
<v Speaker 1>as he's been in these situations, there's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>of that greatness yet to come. If you put him
<v Speaker 1>in there would swerve, if you put him in there
<v Speaker 1>with Osprey, if you put him in there with Omega.
<v Speaker 1>So to take the title off of him right now
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't have made any sense, hangman. As far as how
<v Speaker 1>they're going to handle that whole situation. We'll see. I've
<v Speaker 1>mentioned the Casino Gauntlet. That could be a workaround to
<v Speaker 1>the stipulation, unless they want to stay true Blue, which
<v Speaker 1>I think I don't know why you would want to
<v Speaker 1>do that. You know, Hangman has been with them from
<v Speaker 1>day one. I don't get the impression that he's going
<v Speaker 1>anywhere anytime soon. Why you would want to box yourself
<v Speaker 1>in like that with a stipulation like that, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>There are ways around it, though, to where down the
<v Speaker 1>road he could challenge again for the world title, because
<v Speaker 1>that'll be a story that they could tell later on. Right,
<v Speaker 1>we've already had the Hangman redemption arc when he beat
<v Speaker 1>Kenny to win the belt back. There could be another
<v Speaker 1>one too, years from now, but for the time being,
<v Speaker 1>he's out of the title picture now, which is for
<v Speaker 1>the better because we've had our fill I think of
<v Speaker 1>Hangman in that spot and now it's full steam ahead
<v Speaker 1>to whoever is going to be up next to Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>We got Dynasty, we got double or nothing. I still
<v Speaker 1>maintain if they do Grand Slam Mexico again, presumably in
<v Speaker 1>June at Arena Mexico, they should do MJF and Andrade
<v Speaker 1>on that show for the championship. Absolutely one hundred should
<v Speaker 1>do it on that show. And then we're going to
<v Speaker 1>be getting into all in season and who gets the
<v Speaker 1>shot against him, assuming he's still the champion, who gets
<v Speaker 1>the shot against him at Wembley? Is it Osprey, is
<v Speaker 1>it Omega? To me, it's got to be one of
<v Speaker 1>those two. Can't really imagine it being anybody else. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>these guys went out there in my god, they just
<v Speaker 1>fucking obliterated each other for forty five minutes. But I
<v Speaker 1>go back to what Brian Danielson said on commentary. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>just don't even listen to me. Listen to Brian Danielson,
<v Speaker 1>Listen to the guy who was doing commentary on your
<v Speaker 1>main event during the match, as these guys were murdering
<v Speaker 1>each other, saying that there should be a moratorium for
<v Speaker 1>a while in this company on Texas death Matches. I
<v Speaker 1>think they would be well advised to take Brian Danielson's advice,
<v Speaker 1>especially after this, because how do you follow up on this?
<v Speaker 1>How do you top what we saw these guys do
<v Speaker 1>to each other in this main event? Where do you
<v Speaker 1>go from here? Like this is the pinnacle right here?
<v Speaker 1>They should absolutely put a moratorium on this shit for
<v Speaker 1>at least a year. Take the man's advice. He knows
<v Speaker 1>what he's talking about. What did you think of Revolution
<v Speaker 1>Sunday and Monday? Seventy six percent thumbs up for tonight's
<v Speaker 1>show and roughly twenty four percent thumbs down. I had
<v Speaker 1>to put to Sunday and Monday in there because this
<v Speaker 1>was technically a two day revolution. Oh man, I come
<v Speaker 1>back to me here, come back to me here. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not ready yet. I have to open the super chats.
<v Speaker 1>First show went so late. I forgot to open the superchats.
<v Speaker 1>There we go. We should be able to get through
<v Speaker 1>this fairly quickly. Here, all right, now we can go back.
<v Speaker 1>There you go, There you go, There you go. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>dried chicken starting us off. Thank you brother. Hey two
<v Speaker 1>nights you were wondering what a two night AW pay
<v Speaker 1>per view would look like? Now you know? Oh, and
<v Speaker 1>I have RAW tonight. Oh joy, that's right, I forgot
<v Speaker 1>about that. Ah, Ronda Rousey and AW equals a perfect
<v Speaker 1>fit for her. She is going to love pro wrestling again.
<v Speaker 1>I guarantee it. I don't give a shit if she
<v Speaker 1>loves pro wrestling or not. I don't want to see
<v Speaker 1>her week to week on my TV. Says aw picked
<v Speaker 1>the time to have Revolution during Oscar season and College
<v Speaker 1>basketball Championship Week March Madness Selection Sunday. Yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think there's going to be too much overlap between the
<v Speaker 1>aw audience and the Academy Award audience. Osprey versus Moxley
<v Speaker 1>potential aw Continental title match in the future, says he
<v Speaker 1>had that gut feeling if Moxley returned, well, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that seems pretty clear after what we saw tonight. OMG,
<v Speaker 1>It's winky says just finished episode nine fifty five double
<v Speaker 1>dose of Solo Monster tonight. I hope you enjoyed. If
<v Speaker 1>anyone has a bite kink, was this the show for you?
<v Speaker 1>I'm Tride versus Bandido Spoiled Riha versus Jade's body feud.
<v Speaker 1>I'm telling you I'm still waiting for the pose down
<v Speaker 1>on TV with Ria and Jade. It'll be their next
<v Speaker 1>idea Italian Stallion A Solo Monster loving the Uncrowned Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>show Love from Melbourne, Thank you, brother? Do you think that?
<v Speaker 1>Do you think that is up there with one of
<v Speaker 1>the best hardcore death matches of all time. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>a Cowboy fan, though. I mean in terms of AW
<v Speaker 1>it was the best Texas death match they've ever done.
<v Speaker 1>I'll just leave it at that. I don't I'm not
<v Speaker 1>an expert on all of the great hardcore matches that
<v Speaker 1>there have been. I don't go seeking them ount. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I'm the one that you want to be
<v Speaker 1>asking to rank them. In terms of the ones that
<v Speaker 1>I've seen here in this company, this would be the
<v Speaker 1>best one Chicago for MBK. Can Tony start the pay
<v Speaker 1>per view at like one pm Eastern? Well tell Tony,
<v Speaker 1>I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they continue to
<v Speaker 1>do this. Yeah, they're on the West coast, so they
<v Speaker 1>don't give a shit. And I gotta get messages from
<v Speaker 1>people when I don't go live for some of these
<v Speaker 1>pay per view How come you not live your life
<v Speaker 1>for the WWE pay per views but you're not lied
<v Speaker 1>for the aw pay per views? Why do you favor
<v Speaker 1>the ww you like? I favor them like? I favor
<v Speaker 1>them four matches in a fucking crate. Yeah, I fail
<v Speaker 1>for them because they're on at a normal fucking time.
<v Speaker 1>That's why very simple. You don't have to ask the question.
<v Speaker 1>The answer is staring you right in the face. Boss
<v Speaker 1>Toys says last year Fletcher with the blood. This year
<v Speaker 1>everyone is a shark, is a shark hungry for flesh.
<v Speaker 1>What's with revolution and fetishes? Also Charlotte and Shambles Each
<v Speaker 1>time Onrede gets these selfies with someone Warhog Rambo. Do
<v Speaker 1>you think Hangman will get a title shot under a
<v Speaker 1>mask like Dusty? Ah, he could be the new Midnight Rider.
<v Speaker 1>I hadn't thought about that. Well, I mean, he is
<v Speaker 1>a cowboy, would kind of work the new Midnight writer.
<v Speaker 1>Steve was there live incredible show. Hope they say the
<v Speaker 1>Hangman stipulation wasn't in right. Instead, if he challenges for
<v Speaker 1>the title again, it's him going back on his word.
<v Speaker 1>Well not if he wins the casino gauntlet. I'm just
<v Speaker 1>saying he could win that contract and just keep it
<v Speaker 1>in his back pocket for a rainy day. Bender mc
<v Speaker 1>simpson really liked the new camera angles tonight, but tell
<v Speaker 1>Tony that we need less views of the fans. I
<v Speaker 1>did notice that they were kind of going overboard with
<v Speaker 1>all the shots. It looked cool. I just wouldn't abuse
<v Speaker 1>it so much. Also, I'm a fan of Ronda Rousey
<v Speaker 1>and I'm happy to see her. Congrats, Dallas says, bad
<v Speaker 1>night for my favorites, Takeashta, Brody, Bandido and Hangman. It
<v Speaker 1>feels like AW is defaulting to the stars rather than
<v Speaker 1>the regulars. Not really sure what you mean by that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we had Kevin Knight right in the Jet
<v Speaker 1>Speed win the Trios belts. We had Meghan Bain and
<v Speaker 1>Leana Cross. It was brand new there winning the women's
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles. So I mean there were definitely examples
<v Speaker 1>on the show, Jack Perry winning the national title. If
<v Speaker 1>you give a shit about that, I mean, look, you
<v Speaker 1>got Kenny back, you got Cope and Christian back, you
<v Speaker 1>got Osprey back. So that's why it feels that way,
<v Speaker 1>because they had all the big names that came back,
<v Speaker 1>all on the same show. So I can see where
<v Speaker 1>it would feel like that, But I can't say I
<v Speaker 1>entirely agree with that. Benders says, this show is way
<v Speaker 1>too long, especially for a Sunday mactub on Lesner As
<v Speaker 1>an overall performer, I feel only being used to elevate
<v Speaker 1>roman reign since twenty fifteen kind of held him back.
<v Speaker 1>I think as a performer, he's an incredible performer, and
<v Speaker 1>I know he's capable of doing more in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He just you know, hasn't had to do it since
<v Speaker 1>he came back to the company. He has his way
<v Speaker 1>of doing things. It works for him. He's got a
<v Speaker 1>certain got a certain aura about him when he's out
<v Speaker 1>there that not a lot of other people have. I
<v Speaker 1>guess maybe it comes from his background in combat sports
<v Speaker 1>as a performer. Though I rank him pretty high, it's
<v Speaker 1>pretty high up there. Fried Chicken says it would be
<v Speaker 1>great to see Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey both appearing
<v Speaker 1>on an episode of Dynamite days before their big fight.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure Tony Kahn would love that. I think a
<v Speaker 1>lot of this has to do with trying to kind
<v Speaker 1>of cross promote, probably for her fight. That would be
<v Speaker 1>my guess. The timing of it is just too coincidental.
<v Speaker 1>But if Tony feels he can get a big match
<v Speaker 1>out of it with her and Tony Storm, and if
<v Speaker 1>Ronda is willing to put Tony over, great. If not,
<v Speaker 1>then there's no reason for her to be there because
<v Speaker 1>beyond that, she doesn't bring anything to the table for
<v Speaker 1>aw But if she's willing to do business, then that's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Carlos just got home from the show, and I thought
<v Speaker 1>it was a good show. Andrade's spinning back elbow is
<v Speaker 1>a thing of you know what. Every time he hits that,
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea how he doesn't knock the other
<v Speaker 1>guy's teeth out like he just he makes it look
<v Speaker 1>so good, it looks so devastating. It's a fucking great move,
<v Speaker 1>he says, going to restart the review. So y'all have
<v Speaker 1>a good one, you two Carlos. I'm glad you enjoyed
<v Speaker 1>the show. Also, he says, Osprey and Kenny Returns made
<v Speaker 1>me sob Tekla is great. Jet speech should be Tag
<v Speaker 1>Team Champions and Sola Monster should induct Demolition into the
<v Speaker 1>Hall of Fame. I like the way you think never
<v Speaker 1>gonna happen, But I think I would give a great
<v Speaker 1>speech for dem I would do them proud. I would
<v Speaker 1>honor Demolition in the way that they deserve to be honored.
<v Speaker 1>We have zul I love that name. It iss nice
<v Speaker 1>review solo. By the way, we need to sign Kabeb
<v Speaker 1>and Islam to boost ratings and change the landscape of wrestling. Well,
<v Speaker 1>if they can wrestle, let's see what they got. Otherwise,
<v Speaker 1>I got I used for him. There were so many
<v Speaker 1>people on this roster it is insane, and unless you
<v Speaker 1>are someone who is going to really truly enhance this
<v Speaker 1>product in a meaningful way, there just ain't no room
<v Speaker 1>for you. Wink the Cosmic Grandma, My first pay per
<v Speaker 1>view live and only thirty feet from the ring. What
<v Speaker 1>an emotional roller coaster. Hangman Losing had me in tears.
<v Speaker 1>Has a match ever made you cry? Yes? Yes, yes,
<v Speaker 1>and I'll leave it at that. Bass Beera says, syringe, cringe, Yep,
<v Speaker 1>you said it, mactub. How big of a draw was
<v Speaker 1>Austin after Wrestleman he is seventeen? He was a draw,
<v Speaker 1>but not big enough to prevent there being a business
<v Speaker 1>crash because it was a downhill decline after that, after
<v Speaker 1>he turned heel worst Triple H Win nine Randy Orton
<v Speaker 1>or twenty eleven Punk twenty eleven Punk Punk was so
<v Speaker 1>hot during that summer that to just beat him it
<v Speaker 1>was so clearly just a personal thing on Triple H's part.
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Nash basically said as much recently, it was just
<v Speaker 1>ridiculous lost Dill. It's two thirty am and Solo is
<v Speaker 1>still alive. What a night to be alive? With I'm
<v Speaker 1>barely alive. By the way, why do you despise Wheeler Uda?
<v Speaker 1>I mean despise as a strong word. I don't despise him.
<v Speaker 1>I just don't care for the average grunt. First AW
<v Speaker 1>pay per View of twenty twenty six and another banger
<v Speaker 1>in the books so saith and then HBKC eighty three
<v Speaker 1>non aw related. Who do you think had more matches
<v Speaker 1>against each other? Midnight Express against the Rock and Roll
<v Speaker 1>Express or the USO's against the New Day rock and
<v Speaker 1>Roll Express and the Midnight Express. I would be I
<v Speaker 1>would be almost certain of it. Tuxedos said it better,
<v Speaker 1>said it better than I did. He doesn't care enough
<v Speaker 1>about Yda to despise him. Yet, I'd have to really
<v Speaker 1>care enough to despise somebody. I can't bring myself to
<v Speaker 1>despise the man. I'm completely indifferent, all right. Well, the
<v Speaker 1>goal was four hundred and fifty likes, and we are
<v Speaker 1>at five hundred and fifty five, So I thank you
<v Speaker 1>for that. See turtle Head nose Ball, turtle Head Nos.
<v Speaker 1>When I cried, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker, Tony Kahan said, it's a verbal agreement,
<v Speaker 1>just like the Cody situation. HM said about Hangman. See, oh,
<v Speaker 1>so it wasn't in writing, Well, there you go. Hangman
<v Speaker 1>can say it wasn't down on paper. I'm not going nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>I want my rematch, all right. We have the Hollywood Blondes,
<v Speaker 1>Stunning Steve Austin and Brian Pillman. Look at these young guys.
<v Speaker 1>Look how happy they are. I've been on a nineteen
<v Speaker 1>ninety two slash ninety three WCW kick was so fucking great.
<v Speaker 1>What a great period of time. I didn't appreciate it
<v Speaker 1>when I was younger, like the pre hope, like right
<v Speaker 1>before Hogan came in. Oh, it was so great. But
<v Speaker 1>I was watching and they had a it was a
<v Speaker 1>match between Stunning Steve and Scott Steiner for the television title.
<v Speaker 1>They just uploaded it the other day to the WCW channel.
<v Speaker 1>We have the acclaimed against the Hollywood Blondes. Not bad.
<v Speaker 1>What did I think of MJF coming out dressed as
<v Speaker 1>Terry Funk? I loved it. I thought it was a
<v Speaker 1>great homage to one of the all time goats. I
<v Speaker 1>have to say goats, because there's a multiple greatest of
<v Speaker 1>all time that people will cite. Some people think Terry
<v Speaker 1>Funk is the greatest of all times. Some people think
<v Speaker 1>Rick Flair is the greatest of all times. Some people
<v Speaker 1>think Sean Michaels is the greatest of all time. Some
<v Speaker 1>people think Danausen is the greatest of all time. Everyone
<v Speaker 1>has an opinion. We have Ivory from her right to
<v Speaker 1>Censor Era, and Ivory is going to be taking on
<v Speaker 1>lash Legend. Not a very appealing match, not feeling it.
<v Speaker 1>El Dandy, El Dandy you think is the greatest of
<v Speaker 1>all time? Yeah, Brett Hart might actually concur He's a
<v Speaker 1>jam up guy. That El Dandy all right, may have
<v Speaker 1>been here we go. Oh man, Orange Cassidy, who is
<v Speaker 1>victorious on the pay per view tonight. Kind of appropriate
<v Speaker 1>that on an aw pay per view night he would
<v Speaker 1>be in the main event. Here be the booker. H
<v Speaker 1>I'm telling you, man, that's the second time that's happened
<v Speaker 1>recently where it faked me out and then it switched
<v Speaker 1>at the last second. Psycho Sid, Psycho Sid against Orange Cassidy. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, I love me some Psycho Sid. He
<v Speaker 1>would power bomb the shit out of Orange Cassidy. I'm
<v Speaker 1>here for it. I'll give that the bell. That's the
<v Speaker 1>bell right there, and that is your Revolution review. That's
<v Speaker 1>all I got for you running on fumes. If you
<v Speaker 1>missed episode nine fifty five, two hours of the sound off,
<v Speaker 1>you will have something to listen to tomorrow morning, so
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and download and share it out to the world.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be working all day preparing for the Uncrowned Wrestling Show,
<v Speaker 1>which is coming up on Tuesday. We'll talk Revolution, Fallout,
<v Speaker 1>and all the other news of the week with the
<v Speaker 1>events of Raw later tonight. Of course, I'll be live
<v Speaker 1>with you tonight. I'm gonna be back here live with
<v Speaker 1>you in less than twenty four hours talking Monday night Raw.
<v Speaker 1>Turtlehead says ninety two Cactus Jack sounded like Matt Foley
<v Speaker 1>from SNL ninety two. Cactus Jack was part of that
<v Speaker 1>group of guys men that were having these killer matches
<v Speaker 1>back then. Sting was so over these crowds. My god,
<v Speaker 1>the way in these videos, the way they go nuts
<v Speaker 1>for them, it's just insane. But you have the dangerous
<v Speaker 1>alliance Rick Rude and Austin and beautiful Bobby Ricky, Steamboat Sting, Vader,
<v Speaker 1>Cactus Steiner's It's great shit. Will Stone Cold return tonight,
<v Speaker 1>I hope. So how are you gonna have a three
<v Speaker 1>sixteen day in Texas and not have stone cold there?
<v Speaker 1>I hope the only glass shattering isn't the glass that
<v Speaker 1>we heard on the pay per view tonight. Let's see
<v Speaker 1>what happens, Fingers crossed. He has ninety two War Games
<v Speaker 1>best War Games match ever ever, And honestly, I think
<v Speaker 1>the second best would be ninety one, but I think
<v Speaker 1>ninety two beats it out. Martin just said, heading home
<v Speaker 1>from Revolution, Martin, I hope you enjoyed the show. It
<v Speaker 1>was a very long, exhausting show, but a great one,
<v Speaker 1>but just too fucking long. Be well, stay safe and
<v Speaker 1>come back tonight because we will be here again talking
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw. Hopefully it is Monday Night Raw and
<v Speaker 1>not mundane Night Raw, especially coming off this Revolution show.
<v Speaker 1>I'll see you tonight. Take care, guys,
