<v Speaker 1>Welcome to But I'm a Lesbian, the podcast where we
<v Speaker 1>serve all batty SaaS, queer, film reviews and everything in between.
<v Speaker 1>Whether you're a baby, gay.
<v Speaker 2>Or a clear elder, we're here, We're clear, and we're
<v Speaker 2>diving deep into all things lesbian.
<v Speaker 3>We're your hosts, Caitlin and Angelina.
<v Speaker 2>Get ready for some sapphag serotonin and there's going to
<v Speaker 2>be a lot in this episode.
<v Speaker 3>So many, so.
<v Speaker 2>Many feelings which I don't think this movie is really
<v Speaker 2>marketed is having a lot of feelings.
<v Speaker 3>But you know what, it gives me a lot of feelings.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, because we read all sexual feelings. I think that's
<v Speaker 2>all it was marketed as, was like just sex.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, like very explicit.
<v Speaker 2>Did this movie get an NC seventeen writing or was
<v Speaker 2>it our?
<v Speaker 1>I want to say it got an NC seventeen.
<v Speaker 2>I'm actually I don't know because I don't know pretty scandalous,
<v Speaker 2>it was very anyway.
<v Speaker 3>The movie that.
<v Speaker 2>We are going to talk about is the glamorous, sexy,
<v Speaker 2>extremely hot cult classic show Girls. This movie got terrible
<v Speaker 2>reviews when it came out, but it has become very
<v Speaker 2>well known and quite widely accepted by lesbians as a
<v Speaker 2>sapphic film at least we agreed on that. My wife
<v Speaker 2>was like, what are you talking about? But to us,
<v Speaker 2>very gay classic.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like it is maybe just in this specific
<v Speaker 1>for us.
<v Speaker 2>But then rewatching it, I was like, this is even
<v Speaker 2>gayer than I remember, and I'm so gay.
<v Speaker 1>It really is.
<v Speaker 3>So yes.
<v Speaker 2>It did get an NC seventeen rating, which I think
<v Speaker 2>had probably contributed to it getting such bad reviews because
<v Speaker 2>it was nineteen ninety five. It was like, this is
<v Speaker 2>so scandalous, this is just sex blah blah blah, but
<v Speaker 2>there's so much more to it. So something that has
<v Speaker 2>always stood out to me about this movie is the makeup.
<v Speaker 3>It's truly iconic.
<v Speaker 1>It really is.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, Will you tell me Angelina a little about your
<v Speaker 2>makeup journey, Like what are your early makeup memories? Who
<v Speaker 2>inspired you? When did you start wearing it? Just anything
<v Speaker 2>you think of when you think about makeup.
<v Speaker 1>So for makeup, I started wearing like my mom let
<v Speaker 1>me curl my eyelashes and like do blush and stuff,
<v Speaker 1>and like where I was always allowed to wear like
<v Speaker 1>lip gloss because I loved slip gloss and She's like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, whatever, so I'd have like buckets full of
<v Speaker 1>like every lip gloss. I was like hoarding it and
<v Speaker 1>I need all the literally all the flavors, every single one,
<v Speaker 1>like literally, I was like, oh my gosh. Yes, So
<v Speaker 1>that was like the first thing that I was allowed
<v Speaker 1>to wear. But like when I was younger, my sister,
<v Speaker 1>because she's like six years older than me, she my
<v Speaker 1>mom would let her use her makeup and we would
<v Speaker 1>like my sister would like do my makeup and she
<v Speaker 1>would do hers, but obviously we didn't know what we're doing,
<v Speaker 1>so it would just be like whatever. But there's this
<v Speaker 1>one specific like lip it's not like I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what to call it. Really, it's not like a stain,
<v Speaker 1>and it's not like lipstick, but it's more like a bomb,
<v Speaker 1>like a tinted bomb, but it was a little bit
<v Speaker 1>more pigmented than that, and it was like in this
<v Speaker 1>little like silver thing like this big like a pot. Yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>And I don't remember where she got it from, actually
<v Speaker 1>I should. I think I asked her, but she didn't
<v Speaker 1>remember either. And every time we would like play dress up,
<v Speaker 1>I just loved how it looked on me, and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh my god. And then when my mom
<v Speaker 1>would wear it, I'd be like, oh my god, that's
<v Speaker 1>my favorite. And I always started to convinced her like
<v Speaker 1>can I just wear it to school? And she's like no,
<v Speaker 1>because they're gonna be like, why is your daughter wearing
<v Speaker 1>makeup too elementary school? Yeah, so, and then so I
<v Speaker 1>started wearing that like maybe when I was like twelve thirteen,
<v Speaker 1>like I was able to do like blush, and then
<v Speaker 1>after that, I was like able to do like more makeup.
<v Speaker 1>And my sister at that point was already like out
<v Speaker 1>of high school, so she had like gone through her
<v Speaker 1>makeup journey of like my mom and my oldest sister
<v Speaker 1>helping her with her makeup. So she was like teaching
<v Speaker 1>me like the dues and don'ts of that, But that
<v Speaker 1>still didn't stop me from making my own mistakes. We
<v Speaker 1>have to you have to learn. Anyone can tell you
<v Speaker 1>like don't do this, don't do that. I did that,
<v Speaker 1>and you can listen, but you're still gonna make other mistakes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And no, honestly, we all collectively have made mistakes.
<v Speaker 2>Because people look back at the twenty sixteen brows and
<v Speaker 2>like make fun of them, But in twenty sixteen, we.
<v Speaker 3>All loved those brows and you know what, I still
<v Speaker 3>love those brows. I don't give a fuck.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe that makes me seem old, but I love twenty
<v Speaker 2>sixteen makeup. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>They said it's like something about it. It's just so
<v Speaker 1>full glam, like it's just so nice and I don't
<v Speaker 1>see anything wrong with it. It's like fun looking at
<v Speaker 1>all the styles throughout the years because it's like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>something to be ashamed of. What about you? Who inspired you?
<v Speaker 2>My god, I love makeup. It's like my favorite thing,
<v Speaker 2>Like I spend all my money on it. So my
<v Speaker 2>very early inspirations similar to the makeup in this movie,
<v Speaker 2>because a lot of what I noticed in this movie
<v Speaker 2>is this this very nineties like a dark lipliner.
<v Speaker 3>I know, it's so pretty, which I love.
<v Speaker 2>And then I kind of realized as I got older,
<v Speaker 2>because I've always done that. And then I'm like, oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, I feel like because Pamela Anderson was who
<v Speaker 2>inspired me. She always did like the darklipliner, the very
<v Speaker 2>like dramatic like the eye guys, like a smoky dark eye,
<v Speaker 2>and I just thought she was so beautiful and I
<v Speaker 2>just wanted to look like her when I grew up.
<v Speaker 2>I always feel like there's this quote from Dolly Parton,
<v Speaker 2>and it's so me.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, she gets me.
<v Speaker 2>And it's like about how when she saw like the
<v Speaker 2>town tramp, like that's what her mom called this girl,
<v Speaker 2>she thought she was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen.
<v Speaker 2>And she's like, well, if that's trash, that's what I
<v Speaker 2>want to be like when I grow up. Like, and
<v Speaker 2>I'm like girls saying because people talk so much about
<v Speaker 2>Pamela Anderson and like called her trashi, and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>I think she's so perfect and beautiful and I love her.
<v Speaker 1>And it was just hate.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah whatever, I still I love Pamela Anderson. Now that
<v Speaker 2>she's older and she's not wearing as much makeup, people
<v Speaker 2>are being mean to her about that, like for like
<v Speaker 2>aging gracefully not wearing as much makeup. And it's like,
<v Speaker 2>but they were mean to her when she wore a
<v Speaker 2>lot of makeup.
<v Speaker 1>They just hate women, that's it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And I will a lot of the women that
<v Speaker 2>talk shit on really hot women. It's because you're jealous.
<v Speaker 2>I know because I've done the same thing. I talked
<v Speaker 2>about it Scarlet Johansson. I was like, I hate her
<v Speaker 2>because everyone that I've dated thought she was hot. And
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, no, I don't like her, You're like,
<v Speaker 2>fuck her. I didn't like Megan Fox for the longest time.
<v Speaker 2>I was one of those hated who would make fun
<v Speaker 2>of her thumbs. But it's because I knew she was
<v Speaker 2>so fucking beautiful and like I was mad about it,
<v Speaker 2>and it's like that is like not being a girl's girl.
<v Speaker 2>And I realized as I became an adult. But yeah, no,
<v Speaker 2>I was always really inspired by Pamela Anderson. I always
<v Speaker 2>liked like a lot of makeup like look. And but
<v Speaker 2>what I was gonna say is I realized as I've
<v Speaker 2>gotten older that I feel like that nineties slipliner look
<v Speaker 2>is really stolen from Chola's. Like it's very cultural appropriation.
<v Speaker 2>I was talking to my wife about it. I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, have I been accidentally appropriating this culture
<v Speaker 2>without realizing because I was basing it off of But
<v Speaker 2>Pamela Anderson's makeup artist was probably basing it off of
<v Speaker 2>like the Cholas that she would see around like la
<v Speaker 2>in the late early nineties. Because this was like it
<v Speaker 2>became like the thing. So oops, I do feel bad
<v Speaker 2>about that, but I didn't realize. I also would always
<v Speaker 2>do like the like point eyeliner, which is also like
<v Speaker 2>a Chola thing. And I didn't realize it until when
<v Speaker 2>I worked at Sephora. A girl I don't know what
<v Speaker 2>we're talking about, but this one woman that worked there
<v Speaker 2>that was a little older was like, well, Caitlin does
<v Speaker 2>Tola makeup every day? And I was like, you're I
<v Speaker 2>was like I do, and She's like, yeah, You're always
<v Speaker 2>doing the like thick black liner and the dramatic brows
<v Speaker 2>and the lip liner.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like, oh my god, I'm actually reading you.
<v Speaker 1>Thought you were just doing you Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, but I I love makeup that looks like
<v Speaker 2>makeup I always have. I love glitter, and I love
<v Speaker 2>little old colors, and I've made a lot of mistakes
<v Speaker 2>when I was younger. I was very into blue eye
<v Speaker 2>shadow when I was like twelve, and my mom let
<v Speaker 2>me wear it. And I looked crazy with my blue
<v Speaker 2>eye shadow and red lipsticks.
<v Speaker 3>But you know, I was expressed.
<v Speaker 1>I love blue and red. You know what I've periodic.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god, America, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, yes, but I feel like it goes well,
<v Speaker 1>maybe just like certain shades.
<v Speaker 2>Right.
<v Speaker 3>I think there's a part in this movie where Nomi.
<v Speaker 1>Has she has like a red lip and blue. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they add like more like like you said, like the glitter,
<v Speaker 1>and they also do like the little like gems like they.
<v Speaker 2>Do like rhymes. So pretty, so beautiful. But my literal
<v Speaker 2>big makeup inspiration was my cousin Jessica. It's like five
<v Speaker 2>years older than me, and I just always thought she
<v Speaker 2>was so beautiful and she always she worked at Essay
<v Speaker 2>latter when she was a teenager, and then when she
<v Speaker 2>turned eighteen she started working at Mac and she worked
<v Speaker 2>at the Mac counter for a long time. And this
<v Speaker 2>was in the early two thousands when Mac was everything.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, maybe Max still is. But when they started
<v Speaker 2>selling in China, and they had always been against animal testing,
<v Speaker 2>and then they kept selling in China. When China made
<v Speaker 2>the rules that to sell there you have to test
<v Speaker 2>on animals, I was like, oh, they're fucking sellouts. Like
<v Speaker 2>I'm not gonna wear Mac anymore. So I stopped wearing Mac. So,
<v Speaker 2>like I've said, this is my quariousness. When I'm not
<v Speaker 2>into something, I don't think anyone else is into it anymore.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't think Mac is cool anymore.
<v Speaker 2>But she always had that Mac look, like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like when you go to the makeup counters, they have
<v Speaker 2>like a very like like heavy face, but it's like
<v Speaker 2>a beautiful heavy face.
<v Speaker 3>It's just painted.
<v Speaker 2>And she always had these beautiful, perfect, like eyebrows and
<v Speaker 2>I could never get I rust looked like hers.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know how she did it.
<v Speaker 2>It was like because she was blonde, so they were
<v Speaker 2>like this very like tope color and they looked like
<v Speaker 2>they were drawn on, but they were like so perfect
<v Speaker 2>like painted.
<v Speaker 3>They were beautiful.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, I could talk about Meca forever, but I wanted
<v Speaker 2>to say one last thing.
<v Speaker 3>I think it's really cute.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you have this with like siblings
<v Speaker 2>or like cousins or anything, but like, I always really
<v Speaker 2>looked up to my cousin Jessica because I thought that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, she was older. I thought she was so
<v Speaker 2>pretty blah blah blah. And I didn't know that any
<v Speaker 2>of my cousins felt like that about me. And then
<v Speaker 2>when I was like twenty eight or twenty nine, my
<v Speaker 2>cousin Natalie, who was like sixteen at the time, she
<v Speaker 2>was like when I was growing up, I thought you
<v Speaker 2>were the coolest girl ever. Like she like, I was
<v Speaker 2>like scared to like talk to you like I felt
<v Speaker 2>like you were like, you know, like too cool, too cool,
<v Speaker 2>And she's like, I wanted to be like you. And
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, oh my god, that's so sweet because I
<v Speaker 2>felt like that about my older cousins. So I feel
<v Speaker 2>like that's probably a younger cousin now that feels that way.
<v Speaker 1>About about her. Yeah, it's like it's such a compliment.
<v Speaker 2>I know, it was cute. She went through this very
<v Speaker 2>like alt phase and now I'm like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>was it because of me? She's like my cousin Caitlyn
<v Speaker 2>has puer sings in it.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I remember Kaitlyn.
<v Speaker 1>I want to get her do that. Yeah, oh that's
<v Speaker 1>so cute.
<v Speaker 3>Cute. But anyway, makeup is fun. I love it.
<v Speaker 2>I've gone through phases with it, and like as I've
<v Speaker 2>gotten older, I don't wear as much like every day
<v Speaker 2>for work. Yeah, I do the very basics, like mascara,
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of eyeliner, and like a lip something.
<v Speaker 2>But I have boxes and boxes in makeup, so it's
<v Speaker 2>so fun. Okay, so let's move on to our hot
<v Speaker 2>takes and burning desires. Do you have anything that you
<v Speaker 2>want to share?
<v Speaker 1>Okay? Yes, And I feel like it's similar to the
<v Speaker 1>other one. And yes, this movie is very gay, but
<v Speaker 1>I really wanted Nomi and Crystal to end up together. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but Crystal was really mean, I know, but so she
<v Speaker 1>was so hot, but she was really mean and I
<v Speaker 1>feel like it'd be a very toxic relationship. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>I still wanted them together.
<v Speaker 2>I know, I wanted I think I even Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>was like it was giving enemies to lovers and they
<v Speaker 2>couldn't do the lover's part because it was nineteen ninety five.
<v Speaker 2>They already had too much straight sex there was, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>to also make it be too lesbian, it.
<v Speaker 1>Would absolutely yeah, if they already had low ratings, it
<v Speaker 1>would just not even.
<v Speaker 2>Be I know, they would have gotten like typecast as
<v Speaker 2>like a lesbian movie.
<v Speaker 1>And then yeah, and then maybe more lesbians would have
<v Speaker 1>loved it. Yeah, yeah, what about you.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I put that that it should have been enemies
<v Speaker 2>to lovers.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, okay, part didn't happen.
<v Speaker 2>But I also put this was made fun of so
<v Speaker 2>aggressively because of floodshaming, and it makes.
<v Speaker 3>Me mad because it was actually really good.
<v Speaker 2>And I feel like it was because the star Elizabeth
<v Speaker 2>Berkeley was Before this, she was only known for what's
<v Speaker 2>that show?
<v Speaker 3>You know what?
<v Speaker 2>I went between the high school one with Tiffany Amberthiesen
<v Speaker 2>and the guy that is uh Mario.
<v Speaker 3>Lopez was in it.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, okay.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, she wasn't.
<v Speaker 2>Saved by the beat, so this this was her big,
<v Speaker 2>like grown up role and it was very sexual and
<v Speaker 2>she just got slutshameed.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like it kind of like ruined her career.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, fortunately lesbians have had her back because then
<v Speaker 2>she was on Yeah, but yeah, it's like this. I
<v Speaker 2>was when I was watching the movie this time, I
<v Speaker 2>saw that it was like made by the same people
<v Speaker 2>as Basic instinct So Basic Instincts was really scandalous because
<v Speaker 2>it showed that ladies vejojo area.
<v Speaker 3>Right. I've never seen that movie. I didn't want to.
<v Speaker 3>I wanted to see it. I was like, what when you.
<v Speaker 1>Said that lady? I was like, yeah, to say Sharon Needle,
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to say Born. I was like, that's not
<v Speaker 1>her name either. Literally all the people that are canceled right.
<v Speaker 2>Now now, So yes, yes, And I think it was like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't it wasn't her.
<v Speaker 3>Obviously they used like a body double or something.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, I feel like at the time that movie
<v Speaker 2>was very popular, so they were like, we're going to
<v Speaker 2>make another scandalous movie and it's gonna do really well.
<v Speaker 3>So she probably thought this was like her like super
<v Speaker 3>big break.
<v Speaker 2>But then it like backfired and anyway, I don't know
<v Speaker 2>about Macon instinct, but I think there were a lot
<v Speaker 2>of men in it, and I think that the issue
<v Speaker 2>is that this was like focused on the women, and
<v Speaker 2>she you know, she had.
<v Speaker 1>A dream people, and she was like she had ambitions,
<v Speaker 1>and they just don't want to see women dreams and dancing,
<v Speaker 1>I know, being.
<v Speaker 2>Themselves Yeah, and being hot exactly so beautiful and.
<v Speaker 1>Men hate hot women honestly.
<v Speaker 2>They really do it weird, like woman that is hot
<v Speaker 2>and know she's hot, Yeah, they hate that.
<v Speaker 3>They love that, like you don't know she's beauty?
<v Speaker 1>What is I think he says about Coco, He's like
<v Speaker 1>why are something? He was like, why data baddie if
<v Speaker 1>you can't like handle a baddie.
<v Speaker 2>Like she like you know what I mean, Like you
<v Speaker 2>think Coco when she walks in exactly like.
<v Speaker 1>She He dated her and he knew that she knew
<v Speaker 1>she was a baddie and obviously he was like yes,
<v Speaker 1>like yeah, not trying to like be a hater and
<v Speaker 1>like tear her down and be like you need to
<v Speaker 1>dress differently now that we're together. Yeah, she's always been
<v Speaker 1>a batting Yeah, I love Coco. Oh, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>no body doubles in basic instinct, that.
<v Speaker 3>Was Sharon Stone's actual jojo.
<v Speaker 1>Wow did she have a Mrkin on?
<v Speaker 3>I feel like there was like hair, so maybe she.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I was like, I don't know, I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember.
<v Speaker 2>Well, maybe we need to look up this scene and
<v Speaker 2>do it on our like that scene for the Subscribers Club,
<v Speaker 2>and we just are like, it's just her legs or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, it's scandalous.
<v Speaker 1>I think of Stacy's or whatever Murkin from Oh Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>fucking Vagina wig.
<v Speaker 2>If anyone's listening to this and hasn't seen the L
<v Speaker 2>word yet, you really need to see it because we're
<v Speaker 2>gonna continue to time.
<v Speaker 3>Come on.
<v Speaker 2>I know, like as if everyone's seen it, it ended
<v Speaker 2>like what almost twenty years ago. It ended in two
<v Speaker 2>thousand and nine, so it ended seventeen years ago, so
<v Speaker 2>you really need to see it if you haven't seen it.
<v Speaker 2>So uh okay, I'm like, there were no body doubles.
<v Speaker 3>That is what we learned. So was I gonna actually
<v Speaker 3>talk about the movie? Oh, we have to go to
<v Speaker 3>our breakthrought. I was like, you're just gonna go right
<v Speaker 3>to the guys.
<v Speaker 2>I'm ready, So okay.
<v Speaker 3>We talked about our hot takes and Britian. Yes, okay.
<v Speaker 2>So we're gonna take a quick break and when we
<v Speaker 2>get back, I will tell you all about this movie
<v Speaker 2>and how it's gay, even though there are a lot
<v Speaker 2>of straight sex scenes.
<v Speaker 3>It's so gay. Don't believe it.
<v Speaker 1>Yes it is.
<v Speaker 3>Reapply your nineties close your eyes for the.
<v Speaker 1>Straight sex scene. You don't need to mute the TV.
<v Speaker 2>You're okay, reapply to your nineties brownlipliner while we're gone,
<v Speaker 2>and we'll be right back.
<v Speaker 1>Welcome back to Bama Lesbian. This week, we are discussing
<v Speaker 1>show Girls.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, And during the break when you were all applying
<v Speaker 2>your brownlipliner, I found out something very interesting. Our producer
<v Speaker 2>was looking up information about that basic Instinct scene that
<v Speaker 2>we were talking about, because I was like, that's crazy
<v Speaker 2>that like a big star would have agreed to do
<v Speaker 2>like like that scene down bare nudity at that especially
<v Speaker 2>at that time. And apparently she was basically tricked into
<v Speaker 2>it and by the director, who I assume was a
<v Speaker 2>man pretty sure, Yes and yeah. In the scene, originally
<v Speaker 2>she had underwear on and he told her that she
<v Speaker 2>needed to take it off because it was white and
<v Speaker 2>it was like reflecting it. It didn't look good whatever, but
<v Speaker 2>it would be okay because they wouldn't be able to
<v Speaker 2>see anything. And so she did, and then when she
<v Speaker 2>saw the footage, you totally could see her the jojo area,
<v Speaker 2>and she got mad and she slapped the guy and
<v Speaker 2>she called her lawyer. But then eventually they decided to
<v Speaker 2>keep it in, so maybe they convinced her somehow.
<v Speaker 3>But that's really fucked up.
<v Speaker 2>That's like reminds me of like it's like borderline, like
<v Speaker 2>that upskirting thing that guys do where they have like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, a camera and try to get on thercro
<v Speaker 2>skirts and then they put them on like weird websites,
<v Speaker 2>probably websites that my dad goes too, since we talked
<v Speaker 2>about that in the earlier episode.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's like a thing I know.
<v Speaker 2>When I worked at Forever twenty one, there was a
<v Speaker 2>time because the the dressing rooms were like oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and there was a guy that had like a mirror
<v Speaker 2>and he was trying to put his foot on her.
<v Speaker 1>You could see like naked girls and the girls you
<v Speaker 1>kill all men?
<v Speaker 3>Sorry, what is that? Have you read or have you
<v Speaker 3>heard of the Scum Manifesto?
<v Speaker 1>I have heard of it, not read it, okay, but if.
<v Speaker 3>Anyone hasn't heard of it.
<v Speaker 2>It was like this feminist book from I feel like
<v Speaker 2>the sixties or seventies. But scum stands for society for
<v Speaker 2>cutting up men.
<v Speaker 1>So ya, especially when.
<v Speaker 3>You would come through by statement. Yeah, especially the ones
<v Speaker 3>that are doing weird stuff like that exactly, okay.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't even know if the director of this
<v Speaker 2>did creepy stuff like that too.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>We might find out more of that later, and I'll
<v Speaker 2>tell you if I do. But okay, we're gonna talk
<v Speaker 2>about the movie. So we open and we see a beautiful, tall,
<v Speaker 2>blonde girl hitchhiking to Vegas with a suitcase. This is
<v Speaker 2>no me. Nomi Malone played by Elizabeth Berkeley. As seen
<v Speaker 2>on season six of The l Word. She played the
<v Speaker 2>college roommate of Bet, who was like I think a
<v Speaker 2>straight girl, but they hooked up once or so anyway,
<v Speaker 2>and also from Saved by the Bell, Yeah, like give
<v Speaker 2>the show whatever, whatever, and then she gets picked up
<v Speaker 2>by a creepy guy, which is like, isn't that always
<v Speaker 2>the case? That's the hitchhiking is really scary, especially as
<v Speaker 2>a woman because men are gross. And she pulls a
<v Speaker 2>knife on him so that he knows he can't fuck
<v Speaker 2>with her, and then he almost gets in an accident
<v Speaker 2>because he's trying to like tell her to put the
<v Speaker 2>knife away, and he's driving all crazy and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>he's obviously an asshole. She puts the knife away, and
<v Speaker 2>he continues to be creepy, and then when they get
<v Speaker 2>to Vegas, he tells her to leave her suitcase in
<v Speaker 2>the car and they go into the Riviera casino because
<v Speaker 2>he's like, oh, my uncle works here, maybe I can
<v Speaker 2>get you a job. And so he's like just wait
<v Speaker 2>here in like the casino part while I go find
<v Speaker 2>my uncle. She gambles at a slot machine and she
<v Speaker 2>wins some money and she's like, oh God, so excited.
<v Speaker 2>But then she loses all of it, which is like
<v Speaker 2>very Vegas. I feel like that happens.
<v Speaker 1>You win money like a lot, yeah, and then it's
<v Speaker 1>like oops, it's all gone. Yes.
<v Speaker 2>Then a creepy guy tries to get her to have
<v Speaker 2>sex with him for money, and then she realizes that
<v Speaker 2>the guy she hitchhiked with drove off and left her
<v Speaker 2>there and he took her suitcase.
<v Speaker 1>So she has fucking, fucking asshole, what a dick.
<v Speaker 2>And so then she's being dramatic in the parking lot
<v Speaker 2>and freaking out, and then I think she like hits
<v Speaker 2>a car like yes, like being really mad and creepy.
<v Speaker 2>And then a girl comes up and they become friends.
<v Speaker 2>But at one point they're really close to each other
<v Speaker 2>and it looks like they're about to kiss. So that
<v Speaker 2>was the first part where I was like, this is
<v Speaker 2>kind of go gay.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my god.
<v Speaker 3>So this girl is Mollie.
<v Speaker 2>She becomes like her bestie and they end up living together.
<v Speaker 2>Mollie lets her like crash at her house because she's like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't have anything, like everything I had got taken.
<v Speaker 2>She lets her crash at her house and she asked
<v Speaker 2>her if she's hitting on her, and Mollie's like no,
<v Speaker 2>and I said, but I wish she was.
<v Speaker 3>That would have been better.
<v Speaker 1>I thought you were saying that. Nom said that. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, whoa, I don't remember that.
<v Speaker 3>No. Nomi was like, are you hitting You're not hitting
<v Speaker 3>on me right, No, I thought you were saying the
<v Speaker 3>PARKI yeah, I thought me.
<v Speaker 1>Said that's cut out.
<v Speaker 3>No, I'm just kidding. I wasn't in there.
<v Speaker 2>So we jumped to six weeks later and know me
<v Speaker 2>and Mollie are living together in Molly's trailer, and I
<v Speaker 2>wanted to mention that I really wanted to grow up
<v Speaker 2>and live in a trailer with my best friend so bad.
<v Speaker 2>When I saw this, I thought it was so cute.
<v Speaker 2>They have such a like small space. I really when
<v Speaker 2>I was a kid, was obsessed with trailer parks because
<v Speaker 2>my mom always lived in apartments, but she always had
<v Speaker 2>friends that lived in trailer parks, and the trailer parks
<v Speaker 2>had pools. There was always like the community pool in
<v Speaker 2>the trailer park. So I loved going to visit her
<v Speaker 2>friends at the trailer park because we could go to
<v Speaker 2>the pool and I would be like, Mom, can we
<v Speaker 2>please move to a trailer and my like, no, I
<v Speaker 2>don't think. My dad is so rude. He would make
<v Speaker 2>fun of me. He's like, you know, he sticks to
<v Speaker 2>that like trailer trash. He's very rude. But anyway, I
<v Speaker 2>still think it would be kind of cool to live
<v Speaker 2>in a trailer park.
<v Speaker 3>With a lot of Yeah, have a pool. As long
<v Speaker 3>as it has a pool, I would be really happy.
<v Speaker 3>We have a pool where we live now, that's true.
<v Speaker 1>And the babies would be so happy. They would love
<v Speaker 1>to be in the little water room.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know if they let pets go in the
<v Speaker 3>pool though.
<v Speaker 2>Are there your children's I know, I'm like, these children
<v Speaker 2>are allowed. This is my baby, I exactly. So then
<v Speaker 2>we see that no MEI like does cute nails, and
<v Speaker 2>she did her own nails and they're really cute, and
<v Speaker 2>she shows Molly, and Molly invites her to go to
<v Speaker 2>work with her, and then we find out that Mollie
<v Speaker 2>is a costumer for a showgirl show and the show
<v Speaker 2>is called Goddess. I'm pretty sure, but I didn't write
<v Speaker 2>it in here, but I think I write it later,
<v Speaker 2>But the show is called Goddess. And how perfect and
<v Speaker 2>convenient is that? Because I didn't mention this. But when
<v Speaker 2>Noomai got picked up by the cleepy guy, she said
<v Speaker 2>she wanted to dance, and he's like, oh, you want
<v Speaker 2>to be like a what do you call it, like
<v Speaker 2>an upscale escort or something, and she's like, I want
<v Speaker 2>to dance.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Dancing is not the same, but I think people get
<v Speaker 2>confused and mixed together like dancing, especially stupid men. Have
<v Speaker 2>you seen that movie strip tease with Demi Moore?
<v Speaker 1>No, I always see the cover on toob and she's
<v Speaker 1>just like, wait, I don't know, I just have you.
<v Speaker 1>I saw the other one that's like a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, it's like blue Laguna something and it's
<v Speaker 1>like a bunch of It has Jennifer Tilly in it,
<v Speaker 1>and it has Sandra Oh, and there's like all these
<v Speaker 1>other people. It's like blue laguna something. No, not blue
<v Speaker 1>blue color.
<v Speaker 2>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>And they're like it's like the lives of strippers and
<v Speaker 1>it's like just yeah, it's basically about their lives, like
<v Speaker 1>different people in there.
<v Speaker 3>Well, no, I need to see that.
<v Speaker 1>Jennifer Tilly's in there, and she is so mean, like
<v Speaker 1>she's a little bitch in there. She's a dominature. It's
<v Speaker 1>oh my gosh, she's so hot.
<v Speaker 2>She'd probably be so good at playing that character because
<v Speaker 2>she has that baby voice.
<v Speaker 3>But then she'd be like, do what I told you?
<v Speaker 1>She's so hot in there, like she supposed she plays
<v Speaker 1>like somebody really rude, like she fights with like other
<v Speaker 1>people in there, but like she's just going through a lot.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Yeah, but that one's always on there,
<v Speaker 1>but I never watched it anyways, I'm sorry you were
<v Speaker 1>saying striped tea.
<v Speaker 3>No, okay, strip tease. First of all, Denny Moore is
<v Speaker 3>literally like so beautiful. I feel like, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>People, is very beautiful. And people hated her when she
<v Speaker 1>married Ashton Kutcher because they were like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>well from what I remember.
<v Speaker 2>Because he's a creepy weirdo's see what came out that
<v Speaker 2>she was like having threesomes with him.
<v Speaker 3>Because younger girls because he wants yeah, because.
<v Speaker 1>He wanted it, and she was like, even though it
<v Speaker 1>was against like what I wanted, I just wanted to
<v Speaker 1>please him. So I did that because I thought it
<v Speaker 1>would make happy Oh my my thing. Oh dancing at
<v Speaker 1>the Blue Iguana, Yes, thank you, Okay, it was something
<v Speaker 1>with the Blue Iguana.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I have not seen that, But I just want
<v Speaker 2>to say one more thing about strip tease.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Literally I can't get over her body in that she's
<v Speaker 2>fucking ripped, ripped. She's like I feel like she did
<v Speaker 2>all her own Like she learned to do the dancing
<v Speaker 2>on the hole. She was like her muscles like she
<v Speaker 2>had abs. She looks so fucking good. And not to
<v Speaker 2>say that she still looks beautiful now, but she's just
<v Speaker 2>like really skinny.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>She was like she was like she was like thick fit,
<v Speaker 2>like very like muscular, and oh my god, she's just
<v Speaker 2>so beautiful. And she has these really beautiful eyes. I
<v Speaker 2>think she has heterochromia, like one of her eyes is
<v Speaker 2>like a slightly lighter color than the other. I noticed
<v Speaker 2>it in the substance because I was watching that and
<v Speaker 2>I was like, she's so beautiful. Wait, she my god, anyway,
<v Speaker 2>I lovemore. That's And have you guys have you heard
<v Speaker 2>the gay.
<v Speaker 3>Stuff about her?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 3>I haven't, but also a lot of gay rumors.
<v Speaker 1>About I would love it if she came out, like.
<v Speaker 2>She she has a girlfriend, but it's like her best
<v Speaker 2>friend that they've like lived together for like yours.
<v Speaker 1>She okay, you know what, that's her choice. If she
<v Speaker 1>doesn't want to come out, Okay, we the gays will
<v Speaker 1>support her. I mean, you know, but when you were
<v Speaker 1>saying like she had like these muscles and stuff, do
<v Speaker 1>you remember when we talked about like you have to
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of upper body strength.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, like Valley all of Yes, tell Brandy like what's
<v Speaker 2>her name? Mercedes in it? But Brandy is the actress
<v Speaker 2>and I follow her because I love her so much.
<v Speaker 2>I follow her on Instagram and yeah, she's like buff
<v Speaker 2>because she You gotta up thet you're holding.
<v Speaker 3>Your body way up. Yeah, I know.
<v Speaker 2>I had a friend ask me, I've had two friends
<v Speaker 2>ask me if I want to do a heels class,
<v Speaker 2>which is basically like a stripped.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but I can't even fucking walk in heels. How
<v Speaker 3>am I gonna dance in this?
<v Speaker 1>But maybe if you hold on to you'll be okay,
<v Speaker 1>if you hold on to the.
<v Speaker 3>Holding on for dear life.
<v Speaker 2>Also, it's a It would be good though, because I
<v Speaker 2>have a hard time thinking of myself as sexy and
<v Speaker 2>I feel like that's like something about those classes is
<v Speaker 2>like it teaches you to like blean into Yeah, but
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I would be like, like, I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>I get like really weird and make weird faces anyway.
<v Speaker 3>Uh point being U, I know we are so oh,
<v Speaker 3>I know. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So Mollie's a costumer for the show Girls show and
<v Speaker 2>then we see Crystal Connors, but literally we just see
<v Speaker 2>a flash of her butt in a thong in her
<v Speaker 2>dressing room. But we know she's the star because she
<v Speaker 2>has her own dressing room and all the other girls
<v Speaker 2>are like sharing, like they have like you know, little desks, vanities,
<v Speaker 2>but she has her own room. And that obviously is
<v Speaker 2>Gina Grishaan my love, most beautiful. She's so pretty.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sad that she's straight and she's married.
<v Speaker 2>I know, it's crazy, Okay, So if anyone likes Chucky,
<v Speaker 2>the Chucky Show.
<v Speaker 3>Has Jennifer Tilly in it.
<v Speaker 2>Obviously another there were at least one episode, maybe two
<v Speaker 2>episodes where Gina Gershon was on it and they kind
<v Speaker 2>of made like jokes about it, like she played herself.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. It was kind of meta.
<v Speaker 2>It was confusing, but like she they said some kinds
<v Speaker 2>of jokes about like, oh yeah, isn't it crazy? People
<v Speaker 2>always thought we were like actually.
<v Speaker 3>Gay or whatever like things like that, and I'm.
<v Speaker 1>Like, stop, just leave it alone.
<v Speaker 3>Don't knock until you try it. Not that I know
<v Speaker 3>that she hasn't tried it anyway.
<v Speaker 2>Point being, Crystal Connors is played by Gina Gershon, and
<v Speaker 2>you know what's crazy? This was like I think a
<v Speaker 2>year before Bound, because Bound came out and say, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so this was like her era.
<v Speaker 1>She was very versatile. She said I can.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, okay, And so then Noomi's watching from the audience
<v Speaker 2>and Crystal comes out of a volcano topless, and she's
<v Speaker 2>looking at her like Nomi is looking at her like
<v Speaker 2>so intensely, like I don't know. To me, I thought
<v Speaker 2>she was thinking, oh my god, she's so hot. Do
<v Speaker 2>I want to be with her? Or do I want
<v Speaker 2>to be her?
<v Speaker 1>That's what I thought too.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I thought Elizabeth Berkley did a really great job conveying
<v Speaker 2>all of those emotions, because I was like, what is
<v Speaker 2>do I want her?
<v Speaker 3>What is I? I don't know?
<v Speaker 2>And then we get a fancy topless show girl dance scene.
<v Speaker 3>But I wrote scene the wrong way, so I have confused.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, see n a scene, but I meant
<v Speaker 2>to say, like a scene, dance scene. And then I
<v Speaker 2>was gonna ask you, have you ever seen a show
<v Speaker 2>like this in real life?
<v Speaker 4>No?
<v Speaker 1>I know, I'd love to go. There's there was I
<v Speaker 1>think we had talked about it a while back, like
<v Speaker 1>a burlesque show near us but the tickets were a
<v Speaker 1>little expensive and there was only like a VIP ticket
<v Speaker 1>left and that was very expensive.
<v Speaker 2>So I was like, oh, maybe ask about But I
<v Speaker 2>did go to a burlesque show once, but I wouldn't
<v Speaker 2>think of it like this, Like this is like I
<v Speaker 2>don't even know that these shows exist anymore. Like the
<v Speaker 2>top was probably girl shows or just show girl shows.
<v Speaker 2>I wanted to go when we were in Vegas one time,
<v Speaker 2>and of course, while was like, oh, it doesn't even
<v Speaker 2>sound fun, But then I looked up the tickets and
<v Speaker 2>they were really expensive. So I actually couldn't convince her
<v Speaker 2>because she's like, I didn't even want to go, and
<v Speaker 2>you want me to pay like eighty dollars.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but uh, I have been to over less show
<v Speaker 3>and it was really awkward for me.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, because I'm sober, and I feel like
<v Speaker 2>everyone was drunk, and I feel like it's like the
<v Speaker 2>environment where a lot of people that were there, especially
<v Speaker 2>because we're a small community, it was a lot of
<v Speaker 2>people that are like in the.
<v Speaker 3>Kink community that were there.
<v Speaker 1>Because it was like.
<v Speaker 2>And that's awkward because because my wife is very vanilla,
<v Speaker 2>so she's like everyone here is.
<v Speaker 1>She's like oh my god, give me the fuck out
<v Speaker 1>of here.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, I did not enjoy that, and I could
<v Speaker 2>tell that she was feeling awkward, and I was kind
<v Speaker 2>of feeling awkward.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. Then, I don't know. It was fine.
<v Speaker 3>I did like.
<v Speaker 2>Something I liked about it was that they had like
<v Speaker 2>all body types up there. Oh so like, so there's
<v Speaker 2>like girl, a girl that like runs some of the
<v Speaker 2>like heels classes around here, so she had like she
<v Speaker 2>was performing and she had like all her girls performing too.
<v Speaker 2>And then also this was kind of weird. One of
<v Speaker 2>my friends from a job I used to work with
<v Speaker 2>a long time ago, but she was like older than me.
<v Speaker 3>Her daughter was in it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, my god, I know her, but I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to be weird friends with your mom.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, anyway, we moved to a press conference thing
<v Speaker 2>at the end, and they're all talking about how awesome
<v Speaker 2>Crystal is and she looks so beautiful and fabulous, and
<v Speaker 2>she has all.
<v Speaker 1>These rhinestones on her makeup like we were talking.
<v Speaker 2>About, and she has like rhine stones in her hair,
<v Speaker 2>like the hair is pulled back and has like rhinestones.
<v Speaker 1>It's so she looks so like expensive. Everything about her.
<v Speaker 2>She looks like she smells good, like she would wear
<v Speaker 2>really expensive, like what's that fancy Baccarat rouge that's like
<v Speaker 2>five hundred dollars or something. She looks like she would
<v Speaker 2>be wearing anyway. So we meet this tool named Zach.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think we're supposed to know he's a tool,
<v Speaker 2>but he is. And he plays the dad of uh,
<v Speaker 2>what's her name, Pronell, Emma parnell Ella Pronell. He plays
<v Speaker 2>her dad in Fallout Now, so it's funny young because
<v Speaker 2>now he has that fat man head that men get
<v Speaker 2>that I've talked about, but really you think he does
<v Speaker 2>in comparison to this, he had like a babyface because
<v Speaker 2>this was.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, yeah, you're right. I can see that he doesn't.
<v Speaker 3>Men's heads get really big as they get old. I
<v Speaker 3>don't know. I don't think it happens to women.
<v Speaker 2>I've never noticed it would happen to a woman, they
<v Speaker 2>would still beautiful.
<v Speaker 3>But when it happen to a man, I'm.
<v Speaker 1>Like, oh, so you're ugly before, now you're extra ugly.
<v Speaker 2>And so we see that he's the entertainment director and
<v Speaker 2>he's also dating Crystal, and then Mollie takes no Me
<v Speaker 2>to meet Crystal, and she's like so excited to meet her.
<v Speaker 2>And there's this moment of eye contact in the mirror,
<v Speaker 2>like no, Me is looking in the mirror at her
<v Speaker 2>vanity and no or Crystal's looking in the mirror whatever,
<v Speaker 2>They're both looking at the mirror. They're making eye contact
<v Speaker 2>through the mirror, and I felt like it was really gay,
<v Speaker 2>and I zink were Crystals boobs out? Yes, okay, boobs
<v Speaker 2>were out? So it was extra gay to me. I
<v Speaker 2>was like, and then Nomi said. Mollie's like, oh, Nom's
<v Speaker 2>a dancer too, and h Crystal's like, where do you dance?
<v Speaker 3>And She's like, oh, I dance with the Cheetah.
<v Speaker 2>And Crystal is really rude about it because the Cheetah,
<v Speaker 2>we find out is a strip club, and Nomi's rude
<v Speaker 2>back and storms out. So I like that she doesn't
<v Speaker 2>take shit from anybody, even if it's like the bar
<v Speaker 2>so dramatic.
<v Speaker 1>I love her. She's just like everything is a big
<v Speaker 1>scene to her.
<v Speaker 3>I know, she's like on the Star. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then Molly and know Me go to a club
<v Speaker 2>and it looks so fun. I said, I want to
<v Speaker 2>go to a club in the nineties, but I can't
<v Speaker 2>because the.
<v Speaker 1>Nineties are yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then nomis beat too much on the dance floor
<v Speaker 2>because she's a star.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, get out.
<v Speaker 1>Of my way. She's just like move, Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>She's being crazy. And then this guy that works at
<v Speaker 2>them adodle time.
<v Speaker 3>She's like lack of doodle time.
<v Speaker 2>And then this guy that works at the club comes
<v Speaker 2>up to dance with her and they like are almost
<v Speaker 2>having like a dance off, but it's like kind of sexy,
<v Speaker 2>I guess, and then he insults her because she's He's like,
<v Speaker 2>you could learn to dance or something, and she's like,
<v Speaker 2>what are we doing right now? And he's like, you're
<v Speaker 2>not dancing, you're just teasing my dick. And then she
<v Speaker 2>needs him in the dick. And then a fight breaks
<v Speaker 2>out with a bunch of guys and then someone's like
<v Speaker 2>she started it, so she gets kicked out and arrested,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't understand why she got arrested. She wasn't
<v Speaker 2>actually fighting.
<v Speaker 1>She literally did nothing, but they were like she did it,
<v Speaker 1>and they were like, fuck it, we gotta arrest somebody.
<v Speaker 2>So it's her, yeah, And then the guy she was
<v Speaker 2>dancing with fails her out and he's like, I can
<v Speaker 2>teach you to dance, and she's like, back off, motherfucker,
<v Speaker 2>and then.
<v Speaker 3>He's like, I got fired over you. So I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It was like sobbing rude, but it was so weird,
<v Speaker 1>like the way they met did that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, so they were like, I guess, kind of
<v Speaker 2>being flirty, but also like don't.
<v Speaker 1>It's like very mean flirty, but like you just met.
<v Speaker 2>Like so, then Mollie picks her up. And then that
<v Speaker 2>night we see No Me in the dressing room at
<v Speaker 2>the Cheetah and the owner guy introduces a new girl
<v Speaker 2>named Penny or Hope.
<v Speaker 3>She wants to go by.
<v Speaker 2>Penny, but the owner is like, no, nobody wants to
<v Speaker 2>fuck a Penny. People want to fuck Heather or a Hope,
<v Speaker 2>which I think is crazy because now I think of
<v Speaker 2>Heather as an old lady name, but at that time,
<v Speaker 2>Heather was like.
<v Speaker 3>A sexy girl name.
<v Speaker 2>I guess, so sorry, if your name is Heather, I
<v Speaker 2>think it's still you can still be a sexy girl.
<v Speaker 1>But Heather will make a comeback.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, I don't think Maitlan is a sexy girl name.
<v Speaker 2>It's like it's like, I don't know, basic white girl name.
<v Speaker 3>It's not cool.
<v Speaker 2>Angelina is a sexy girl name because it's like Angelina
<v Speaker 2>jo Lee.
<v Speaker 1>I know, but I always feel like, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>it feels doesn't it feel like well because you always
<v Speaker 1>go by Ca Yeah, like that's how I mean sometimes Cat,
<v Speaker 1>but you said there's somebody else that work it's also cats. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I it's because I because my name, my last name
<v Speaker 2>is Batty. So if I was Katie, then I would
<v Speaker 2>be Katie Baty. So I don't like to go by
<v Speaker 2>Katie or Kate because it's too it's too like y.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>When I was a kid, I wanted to go by Lynn.
<v Speaker 2>I thought that would be cool, but it never happened.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't take off.
<v Speaker 1>Lynn is cute. I know you can be Lynn right now.
<v Speaker 2>Next episode, I'm gonna be like, we're your hosts, Lynn.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And I'm not gonna say Angelina anymore because every
<v Speaker 1>time I think of that, well that's what I was
<v Speaker 1>gonna say. Oh well no, I mean yeah, I do,
<v Speaker 1>but I always think like my parents only said that
<v Speaker 1>when I was in trouble, So every time I hear
<v Speaker 1>I'd be like, oh what did I do? So I
<v Speaker 1>was introduced myself as like Angine said, my middle name
<v Speaker 1>Rosie Rosie.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, oh my god, that's a cool middle name.
<v Speaker 1>That's my aunt's name, I know, so I always think
<v Speaker 1>of her. So I'm like, just the names are beautiful, though,
<v Speaker 1>I do like Angelina. My grandma picks up that name,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm like, but I don't think of it as
<v Speaker 1>sexy either, because I'm like, too many family like things
<v Speaker 1>in there. I don't know. Yeah, so we just will
<v Speaker 1>pick new names for ourselves.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, okay, next episode, new name.
<v Speaker 1>Something completely different.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, okay.
<v Speaker 2>So the girl's name is Penny slash Hope and she
<v Speaker 2>ends up being in Showgirls Too, which I want to know.
<v Speaker 3>Have you seen.
<v Speaker 1>It show Girls?
<v Speaker 3>What do you mean show Girls Too?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 3>What? Okay?
<v Speaker 2>I watched it out like five years later, and not,
<v Speaker 2>like the only people that are in it from this
<v Speaker 2>one are Penny and the guy, the guy you know,
<v Speaker 2>the dancer guy that as out Oh okay, that becomes
<v Speaker 2>kind of like her boyfriend whatever, okay, and show Girls Too.
<v Speaker 1>But I feel like I did see that there was
<v Speaker 1>a sequel, but as soon as I saw that, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there was like nobody from the original, I was like, no,
<v Speaker 1>if they're not there, then I don't really want to
<v Speaker 1>see it.
<v Speaker 2>That's like how they made a bunch of Bring It On,
<v Speaker 2>but I never saw them because they didn't have the
<v Speaker 2>main people from the first Bring It On, so I
<v Speaker 2>never saw the other ones. I know that other people
<v Speaker 2>liked them anyway. Okay, so the owner guy tells her
<v Speaker 2>if a guy comes oh ew. The owner guy tells
<v Speaker 2>Penny if a guy comes all over her during a
<v Speaker 2>lap dance but gives her a big tip, it's okay,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I was like, what a penny. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Then he's like, you need to give me a blowjob
<v Speaker 2>or you won't last longer than a week.
<v Speaker 3>So this guy's a tool.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Crystal and Zach show up to the Cheetah. It was
<v Speaker 2>very confusing because on the sign it says Cheetahs, but
<v Speaker 2>they were calling it the Cheetah.
<v Speaker 3>So I was confused by the name of Chia Clubs.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe everybody everybody knows it as the Cheetah. Yeah. So
<v Speaker 1>also I just realized Zach is Kyle. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>I'm forgeting his last name McLauchlin. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, the dad from Fallout. That's what I know.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, Okay, So Crystal and Zach show up to the
<v Speaker 2>Cheetah and they're all coked out, and she obviously went
<v Speaker 2>there because she wants to see no me and Nomi's
<v Speaker 2>stage name is Heather to sexy girl names, and Crystal
<v Speaker 2>is watching with a lot of interest. And then Nomi
<v Speaker 2>and Crystal are totally I wrote there totally having cheer sex.
<v Speaker 1>They are.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I was giving, because they were like looking
<v Speaker 2>at each other a lot, and then she I was like,
<v Speaker 2>she's literally looking at her and tweaking her own nips.
<v Speaker 2>I think know me because she's on the stage. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so she's like and then Crystal tells Zach like, do
<v Speaker 2>you like her? I'll buy her for you, and Nomi
<v Speaker 2>storms off because she feels like Crystal is judging her.
<v Speaker 3>I think that's why she didn't really explain, but she's mad.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Crystal asks Heather for a private dance for both
<v Speaker 2>of them, and she says, no women and only one
<v Speaker 2>at a time, but Crystal offers five hundred dollars and
<v Speaker 2>the creepy boss makes her do it. Yeah, and then
<v Speaker 2>James the dancing guy is there, so the guy that
<v Speaker 2>bailed her out that was like, you're teasing my dick.
<v Speaker 3>He's there and he's like watching, which is weird.
<v Speaker 2>He's like whoa, yeah, and then they go to the
<v Speaker 2>back room and Crystal watches and does more coke Whilenomi
<v Speaker 2>gives Zach a really aggressive lap dance and he comes
<v Speaker 2>in his pants.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>But all the while she's like literally staring at.
<v Speaker 2>Her Oh, like this is also she's doing a lot
<v Speaker 2>of like grinding on her seat as she's watching. She's
<v Speaker 2>like doing coke and grinding she watches, So.
<v Speaker 1>It's like it's a whole thing and it's so fucking gay. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>just take away Zach.
<v Speaker 3>He's just there like he's just ya.
<v Speaker 2>They both want to fuck each other exactly, It's just
<v Speaker 2>there exactly.
<v Speaker 3>That's how I feel. He's just like the prop. And
<v Speaker 3>James was watching this, he was like peeking through.
<v Speaker 2>And then at some point the security guards like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>if you want to dance, you got to pay for it,
<v Speaker 2>like stop being creepy.
<v Speaker 3>And I said, it's really gay.
<v Speaker 2>Because Nomi and Crystal are making intense eye contact and
<v Speaker 2>it's giving like this could be you. Also, I have
<v Speaker 2>to mention that the first like ten times I saw
<v Speaker 2>this movie, I saw it on VH one, and so
<v Speaker 2>they edited out like all the second scenes, and whenever
<v Speaker 2>they were naked, they put little like purple bikinis on them.
<v Speaker 3>Like they like editing the guys.
<v Speaker 2>And so I told my wife how much I love
<v Speaker 2>this movie, and I got her to watch it with
<v Speaker 2>me a few years ago, and she was like, what
<v Speaker 2>the fuck you watched this as a kid, and.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, well, I was like twelve and it
<v Speaker 3>was on VH one.
<v Speaker 2>But also she was so upset by how many straight
<v Speaker 2>sex scenes there were, like because that the guy coming
<v Speaker 2>in his pants, they did.
<v Speaker 1>Not show that. Oh, they just like them.
<v Speaker 2>And they were like, oh, they have to go do
<v Speaker 2>a dance, and they didn't show the dance.
<v Speaker 1>Did they show them like snorting coke? I don't think.
<v Speaker 1>So it was just like edit edit, but it makes
<v Speaker 1>sense because you were like the makeup, Yeah, I love it.
<v Speaker 3>They're so pretty Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So then the next morning, James dancing guy shows up
<v Speaker 2>at the trailer and tells Nomi that she's naturally talented,
<v Speaker 2>but he wants to teach her more about dancing because
<v Speaker 2>he is a trained dancer, and then he weirdly slet
<v Speaker 2>shames her and says she's too talented to be stripping,
<v Speaker 2>and then he.
<v Speaker 3>Calls her a bitch. Yeah, and I was like, are we.
<v Speaker 1>Supposed to think that this is romance? Is romantic?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, this is gros And then Knowmi and Mollie hang
<v Speaker 2>out that day and Nomi sees a beautiful dress at
<v Speaker 2>VERSACEI or Forsace, and he uses the money she got
<v Speaker 2>from dancing to buy it.
<v Speaker 3>It's very special to her.
<v Speaker 2>Because it's so fancy and she's never had anything that
<v Speaker 2>fancy and expensive and designer. And then Molly sees this guy,
<v Speaker 2>Andrew Carver that she has a crush on is coming
<v Speaker 2>to Vegas. So he's like a singer, and there's like
<v Speaker 2>a bill, like a I don't know a poster that
<v Speaker 2>says he's coming to Vegas sooner.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, oh my god, I love him. Blah blah blah.
<v Speaker 2>And then we move on to seeing some girl on
<v Speaker 2>girl stuff with Heather and Penny basically scissoring on stage
<v Speaker 2>at the Cheetah, and then some other dancers go on
<v Speaker 2>stage and kiss each other, and then a guy at
<v Speaker 2>the club tells her he thinks she should try out
<v Speaker 2>for a spot in the chorus line in the show
<v Speaker 2>that Crystals in and she's like, did she send you
<v Speaker 2>and he's like, no, just show up to the audition.
<v Speaker 3>But I feel like she did.
<v Speaker 1>I think she did. Yeah, yeah, like secretly I think
<v Speaker 1>she did. Yes.
<v Speaker 2>So then the next day we see the audition. The
<v Speaker 2>show runner guy, I don't know what his title is,
<v Speaker 2>the boss guy, yeah, the one that like does yrectors,
<v Speaker 2>almost like the one Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, he's old and he's in charge of stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Well I want something whenever.
<v Speaker 2>He is calling him the showrunner, I don't know. He
<v Speaker 2>makes fun of a girl for her boobs being too
<v Speaker 2>big and tells her to leave, and then he tells
<v Speaker 2>another girl to get her ears pinned back. Oh my,
<v Speaker 2>He calls another girl fat and tells her to leave.
<v Speaker 2>So he's a dick. And then Crystal comes and watches
<v Speaker 2>her audition obviously because she wants to fuck her so bad.
<v Speaker 2>It's so obvious. Yeah, the showrunner guy is so creepy.
<v Speaker 2>And he tells no me she needs to play with
<v Speaker 2>her nipples so they can get hard, and then he's like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm erect, why aren't you? And it's like eh, old
<v Speaker 2>man dick, and then he's like puts a mice on there,
<v Speaker 2>and he like goes to give her eyes and she
<v Speaker 2>throws the ice at him and runs off because she
<v Speaker 2>gives no fuck.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, do not disrespect to me.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and then Crystal goes in the back with her
<v Speaker 2>and confirms that she did get the audition for her,
<v Speaker 2>and then Nomi's like, I hate you, and Crystal's like,
<v Speaker 2>I no, And I think they should have had tex
<v Speaker 2>I think.
<v Speaker 1>I could have had angry sex.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, you say, oh my god, they could have had
<v Speaker 2>a very specifics like oh, okay, this is my heated rivalry.
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So then.
<v Speaker 2>She gives her a tissue to wipe her tears and
<v Speaker 2>then she leaves. And then when Nomi leaves the audition,
<v Speaker 2>James is out there working at his new job as
<v Speaker 2>of La and then he says more dumb judgmental stuff
<v Speaker 2>about showgirls and strippers. Basically he's like it's the same thing,
<v Speaker 2>and he gets fired for talking to her instead of working.
<v Speaker 2>And then they hang out and he asked her where
<v Speaker 2>she's from and she says different places, which is so
<v Speaker 2>funny because that's what she said when she first met Molly,
<v Speaker 2>and Molly was like, where are you from?
<v Speaker 3>And she's like different places. Like she's so defensive.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, I don't know, I don't know where I'm from.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, your business.
<v Speaker 2>And then he takes her to his house and it
<v Speaker 2>has a bunch of pictures of himself dancing on the walls,
<v Speaker 2>and then he's like, I choreographed the dance for you,
<v Speaker 2>and I need three other girls. And they practice the
<v Speaker 2>dance together and it turns kind of sexual. I think
<v Speaker 2>they kissed, but she's like, doesn't have sex with him.
<v Speaker 2>She says, I won't have sex with you until you
<v Speaker 2>love me. And then she goes back home and she
<v Speaker 2>gets a call from the guy that runs the show
<v Speaker 2>and finds out that she got in. So she goes
<v Speaker 2>to her job and quits, like she's so excited to
<v Speaker 2>quit the Cheetah and the owner guy is so rude
<v Speaker 2>about it. He's like, whatever, you'll be back basically yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then Nomi takes a cab to James's house and
<v Speaker 2>she's all excited to tell him that she got into
<v Speaker 2>this show. And then he opens the door and we
<v Speaker 2>see that he is he was fucking Penny, Like Penny
<v Speaker 2>is still there and she's naked.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and you I hate him, I know he's also
<v Speaker 1>I like him since like the beginning, honestly.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, when he was like, oh, you're just teasing my dick,
<v Speaker 2>Mike Ey. She just wants to dance and you happen
<v Speaker 2>to be there. She was dancing by herself, just buying it.
<v Speaker 1>And I know he's so much mental yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And then I was like, Nomi is mad.
<v Speaker 2>And then the next day Noomi shows up to the
<v Speaker 2>office to sign stuff, like to be in the show,
<v Speaker 2>sign paperwork whatever, and they are like, oh, I.
<v Speaker 3>Like your dress, and she's like, thinks I got it
<v Speaker 3>up for Sace.
<v Speaker 2>And then they all like judge her, but they silently
<v Speaker 2>judge her, like they don't tell her it's versace. They
<v Speaker 2>just are like, this poor person basically is vibe that
<v Speaker 2>I get. And then the choreographer like lady girl, Lady girls.
<v Speaker 3>Lady girl tells her that she can only eat.
<v Speaker 2>Bron rice and vegetables basically, so she has to be
<v Speaker 2>like on a diet and only eat brown rice and vegetables.
<v Speaker 2>And then they asked her date of birth and social
<v Speaker 2>security and stuff, and she's obviously like making things up.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, oh, I lost my social Security card. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know it, Like my dat of birth is like
<v Speaker 2>she like said, so she's from different places, Okay, and
<v Speaker 2>then she sees Zach and she's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>my dress is from Forsace and he's like, Versachi, it's Versace.
<v Speaker 2>So in a way, it's like he's being nice because
<v Speaker 2>he's actually telling her yeah, but he's also like he's
<v Speaker 2>just a smug asshole, I know. And then she goes
<v Speaker 2>to practice and she gets thrown right in and then
<v Speaker 2>she's like, when do I do my first show? And
<v Speaker 2>they're like tonight, so it's like, oh fuck, she really
<v Speaker 2>is throw yeah, and then Mollie looks so proud like
<v Speaker 2>seeing her dancing, and Zach sent Nomi roses, and after
<v Speaker 2>the show, James shows up and is like, I just
<v Speaker 2>have a problem with pussy. Like you can't be mad
<v Speaker 2>at me. I've always had a problem with pussy. And
<v Speaker 2>it's like fucking loser, dude, Like I know, like go
<v Speaker 2>a way, Like he looks kind of short. I know
<v Speaker 2>that she's really tall, but I just am like he's
<v Speaker 2>giving too much fuck boy energy for like n yeah,
<v Speaker 2>exactly exactly, And I said, what a loser. And then
<v Speaker 2>Zach pulls up and she says thanks for the roses
<v Speaker 2>in front of James, and so James is mad, like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>you got this guy with this stupid sports car.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, well you literally fucked my old coworkers.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly, And then we didn't I didn't mention it.
<v Speaker 2>But he told that girl Penny that he wrote the
<v Speaker 2>dance for her, so he just uses the same line
<v Speaker 2>on all the girls and so that's gross. Then the
<v Speaker 2>next day, Nonmi shows up for practice tutoring and sees
<v Speaker 2>that Crystal is the only one there and she's doing
<v Speaker 2>coke and she's like, let's start over. We can go
<v Speaker 2>get lunch, and then they bond over not liking brown
<v Speaker 2>rice and vegetables and liking doggy chow because when they
<v Speaker 2>go to eat, she's like, what do you want and
<v Speaker 2>Nomi's like, I don't know, brown rice and vegetables and
<v Speaker 2>she's like, do you like brown rice and vegetable?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. It felt very sexual and they like look.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, okay, it reminds me.
<v Speaker 2>I know, you wouldn't watch a lot of friends. But
<v Speaker 2>there was this part where they asked Joey like, how
<v Speaker 2>can you make everything sound sexual? Like everything you say
<v Speaker 2>and they were like, say Grandma's chicken salad and He's like,
<v Speaker 2>Grandma's chicken salad.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. That's the way they were talking, like.
<v Speaker 3>Do you like brown rice and vegetables?
<v Speaker 1>She's like it's just like it's pair with the eye contact.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay. So anyway, they talk about eating doggy chow.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't know that. I feel like it's.
<v Speaker 2>Because Nomi grew up poor, and so I feel like
<v Speaker 2>maybe she's saying that because she is telling her that
<v Speaker 2>she also grew up Yeah. And anyway, they drink champagne
<v Speaker 2>and Crystal compliments Nomi's hits and she's.
<v Speaker 1>Like, you have great so good.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I literally wrote this is so gay? What the
<v Speaker 3>heck my name?
<v Speaker 2>Crystal says we're both whoes and Nomi's like no, and
<v Speaker 2>Crystal's like yes. So Nomi does not like being called
<v Speaker 2>a whore. This is what we learn because I feel
<v Speaker 2>like Crystal is like, I mean, we're taking our clothes
<v Speaker 2>off like for money, like yeah, wore whoores in some way?
<v Speaker 3>And she's like, no, we're not. Then they go back
<v Speaker 3>to the stage.
<v Speaker 2>To dance and no, and they're dancing very sexually, and
<v Speaker 2>then Crystal rips Nomi's top and touches her boobs and
<v Speaker 2>they almost kiss, but then Crystal calls her a whore.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, see, you are a whore, and then she
<v Speaker 2>gets mad and calls her a bitch and leaves. And
<v Speaker 2>then Nomi gets invited to dance at a boat show
<v Speaker 2>and Mollie tells her not to do it, but Nomi
<v Speaker 2>does it because she's gonna get paid like a thousand
<v Speaker 2>dollars for like a few hours of like dancing at
<v Speaker 2>this boat show. And then Nomi finds out at the
<v Speaker 2>show that the reason she's getting paid a thousand dollars
<v Speaker 2>is because she's expected to fuck.
<v Speaker 3>This guy for the money.
<v Speaker 2>And that's basically like they're like, oh, you're just gonna dance,
<v Speaker 2>Like no, you're gonna have to hook up with the
<v Speaker 2>like business owners from wherever, like it's like for the casino.
<v Speaker 3>And she's like what the fuck.
<v Speaker 2>And then she goes to find Zach and she interrupts
<v Speaker 2>him in Crystal and she tells him about it, and
<v Speaker 2>he's like, I'm a good guy. I'll fix this, and
<v Speaker 2>then he like yells at the guy that's set up
<v Speaker 2>the secret sex work thing. And then as soon as
<v Speaker 2>Nomi left, he calls and is like I was obviously
<v Speaker 2>it's just joking, dude.
<v Speaker 1>It's like I know fucking asshole. Yes, And then.
<v Speaker 2>Nomi sees one of the girls put beads on the
<v Speaker 2>stage so a specific other girl will trip and get hurt.
<v Speaker 2>So she sees that happen, and the girl Annie broke
<v Speaker 2>her knee. And then and then her friend from the Cheetah,
<v Speaker 2>Nomi's friend from the Cheetah, who looks exactly like Gingermine.
<v Speaker 3>Shows up. I'm like ginger Min. And then she's with
<v Speaker 3>the owner guy.
<v Speaker 2>They came to visit there, being nice, but then he
<v Speaker 2>ruins it by saying it must be not having anyone
<v Speaker 2>come on you. It's like, why does he have to
<v Speaker 2>be an asshole?
<v Speaker 3>Like he can't? And then he calls her kid or something,
<v Speaker 3>and it's like, you know, I hate when men.
<v Speaker 2>Do that, Like they think they're like they're like being
<v Speaker 2>like fatherly, but then.
<v Speaker 1>They're being sexual, so it's.
<v Speaker 3>Like ill, what ill?
<v Speaker 2>And so Nomi gets a ride with Zach and they
<v Speaker 2>end up going to his place and they have sex
<v Speaker 2>and his weird pool that has these cheesy.
<v Speaker 3>Palm tree lights.
<v Speaker 2>And then I said, having sex in a pool seems
<v Speaker 2>like an infection waiting to happen, to be honest, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's how I feel about it because there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of chemicals in there and they're getting pushed up into
<v Speaker 2>your vagina and I feel like you're going to get
<v Speaker 2>an infection.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and also like jump scare warning. It's just it's
<v Speaker 1>a straight sex scene.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it's very It's basically like she's doing the
<v Speaker 2>exact same thing, like the same like movements and being
<v Speaker 2>really crazy and like when she gave him the lap dance,
<v Speaker 2>like yeah, now you get the real thing.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, ugh.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, so.
<v Speaker 2>I was like she obviously had sex him because of Crystal,
<v Speaker 2>which is so gay.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>She's like.
<v Speaker 3>That's how I felt, okay.
<v Speaker 2>And then later Zach tells her to audition as Crystal's
<v Speaker 2>understudy and they want know Me for the understudy and
<v Speaker 2>Crystal is like, whatever, I haven't missed a day in
<v Speaker 2>eight years, Like, so it doesn't matter who my understudy is.
<v Speaker 2>And that's called foreshadowing because like obviously it does matter.
<v Speaker 2>Then Crystal realizes that know Me and Zach had sex,
<v Speaker 2>and Zach is like, are you jealous?
<v Speaker 3>Are you mad? Because I sucked her first?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, are you realize? Is how gay it is?
<v Speaker 2>He's like, I know that you want her Basically, she's
<v Speaker 2>not like exactly, She's not like, oh my god, how
<v Speaker 2>could you cheat on me?
<v Speaker 1>It's more like, oh fuck, You're like yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then Zach tells Nomi that she got the understudy
<v Speaker 2>part and he wants to take her to dinner, and
<v Speaker 2>then she sees a flyer for James's show with Penny,
<v Speaker 2>and she goes into Crystal's dressing room and they like
<v Speaker 2>hold hands to look at each other's nails and there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot of eye contact that's really gay. And then
<v Speaker 2>Crystal ruins it because she calls her a whore again.
<v Speaker 3>And then I was just I think.
<v Speaker 2>It's very rude because she's obviously just jealous of Zach
<v Speaker 2>because she got to have sex with her, so now
<v Speaker 2>she's like kiking that, like fuck you.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then Nomi goes on her own to see james
<v Speaker 2>show and people are being haters, like people are throwing
<v Speaker 2>stuff at them, like they don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Why she's still giving him.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, well, I'm not gonna be with you, so
<v Speaker 1>you're just my friend now, yeah, but I wouldn't even
<v Speaker 1>have friends with her.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Then she compliments the show and finds out that James
<v Speaker 2>and Penny are getting married because she's pregnant. So you
<v Speaker 2>know what, Nomi dodged a fucking bullet. The she dodged,
<v Speaker 2>she didn't, Yeah, yeah, Later, Nomi goes into the dressing
<v Speaker 2>room and sees a letter that says she isn't understudy anymore,
<v Speaker 2>and she finds out it's because Crystal said she would
<v Speaker 2>quit if they gave it to her, and then Nomi's.
<v Speaker 3>Really sad and mad.
<v Speaker 2>And then on stage, the two of them are doing
<v Speaker 2>like a super gay dance and Nomi pushed Crystal down
<v Speaker 2>the stairs after that, but she obviously doesn't need it.
<v Speaker 3>She was like, I don't know she fall.
<v Speaker 2>And then the other girl that made the girl break
<v Speaker 2>that made Annie break her knee stands up for no
<v Speaker 2>me and she's like, I also saw it.
<v Speaker 3>She just felt nobody pushed.
<v Speaker 1>She covered for me, so I covered for her.
<v Speaker 2>And then I was like, Mollie looks sad and disappointed
<v Speaker 2>because she knows what really happened, so.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I thought you were better than that.
<v Speaker 2>Basically, Crystal has a long recovery ahead of her, So
<v Speaker 2>Nomi becomes the new star because she's the end of study.
<v Speaker 2>And then Zach is having a party for no me,
<v Speaker 2>and Andrew Carver is going to be there, and know
<v Speaker 2>Me is like, Mollie, you need to come because Andrew
<v Speaker 2>Carver is going to be here and you love him,
<v Speaker 2>Like so even though you're mad at me, like, come
<v Speaker 2>to this party. And she says she's not going to go,
<v Speaker 2>but then she does end up showing up and she
<v Speaker 2>Nomi meets Andrew and he's so gross and like, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if he says a lot of weird.
<v Speaker 3>Gross stuff to her.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's a fucking Then she introduces Mollie and then
<v Speaker 2>Andrew and Mollie kiss, and so I feel like Nomi
<v Speaker 2>is like excited because she's like, oh, this is like
<v Speaker 2>what she wanted, Like she gets to hook up with
<v Speaker 2>like the guy that she has a big crush.
<v Speaker 3>On, but he's a terrible person.
<v Speaker 2>And I forget that this happened because they also on
<v Speaker 2>VH one they did not show this, but there is
<v Speaker 2>a pretty uncomfortable essay scene that is like way too graphic. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>kind of ruins the movie. Like I don't think I
<v Speaker 2>needed to be there.
<v Speaker 1>They genuinely did not need.
<v Speaker 3>The VH one version was fine.
<v Speaker 2>They showed that she was beat up after, So I
<v Speaker 2>knew that something bad happened, but they didn't show what happened.
<v Speaker 1>Like leading up to that. It was just insane.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he like brought his friends in. It was yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then Molly comes out of the room all bloody
<v Speaker 2>and Nomi takes her to the hospital and the hospital
<v Speaker 2>workers say she's in shock and she'll needs to stay
<v Speaker 2>there for a few days, and Nomi wants the police
<v Speaker 2>to come, and Zach is like, no, Pollie, and she's like.
<v Speaker 3>What the fuck. Apparently that's her real name. Her name
<v Speaker 3>is Polly.
<v Speaker 2>And he did a background check on her and found
<v Speaker 2>out like her real info, and he tells her all
<v Speaker 2>the things from her past and she is very like
<v Speaker 2>sad and ashamed. She was a sex worker and she
<v Speaker 2>like got arrested for drugs and she was in foster
<v Speaker 2>care and ran away from foster home. So it's like
<v Speaker 2>she had like a fucked up life. And he is
<v Speaker 2>a terrible person. He's not understanding at all. He's judging her,
<v Speaker 2>he's left shaming her. And she literally is like a
<v Speaker 2>boss ass bitch that did what she had to do
<v Speaker 2>to survive exactly like she was dealt a shitty hand
<v Speaker 2>and I just it just makes me so mad when
<v Speaker 2>people I don't know, I hate such shaming.
<v Speaker 1>And probably also the other reason why she.
<v Speaker 2>War because she felt, yeah, she like had to do
<v Speaker 2>those things to survive, and she feels ashamed of it.
<v Speaker 2>Is the vibe that I get because she really doesn't
<v Speaker 2>want anyone to talk about it or anyone to know.
<v Speaker 1>And then.
<v Speaker 2>He like grabs her neck while she's crying. I thought
<v Speaker 2>that was weird. And then he says, we can't do
<v Speaker 2>anything about Andrew and his rapist friends because they're part
<v Speaker 2>of the team, so like they're basically allowed to get
<v Speaker 2>away with raping and beating in the squirrel. And then
<v Speaker 2>he says the thing about how he's like, how much
<v Speaker 2>did you charge when you were working in the streets
<v Speaker 2>or whatever, and she said like fifty dollars, which I
<v Speaker 2>don't even know why she told him, because then he's like,
<v Speaker 2>you should have charged more, you're.
<v Speaker 3>A good fuck or whatever. It's like ew.
<v Speaker 2>And then she spits in his face and I'm glad
<v Speaker 2>because exact. And then she goes home and she does
<v Speaker 2>her makeup and her nails, and she like calls and
<v Speaker 2>is like, I want to see Andrew, you know, because
<v Speaker 2>he wanted to fuck her so bad, so she like
<v Speaker 2>acts like she wants to fuck him, yeah, and then
<v Speaker 2>she beats the shit out of him, and I think
<v Speaker 2>she should have killed him.
<v Speaker 1>I think so too, but she's probably like, I can't
<v Speaker 1>take a murder charge, yeah, but I'll just beat him.
<v Speaker 3>She basically I think she did threaten him though.
<v Speaker 2>She was like I will literally kill you if you
<v Speaker 2>ever do this to anyone else, or you ever touched
<v Speaker 2>her again, or.
<v Speaker 3>Something like that.
<v Speaker 2>So then she goes to visit Mollie and tells her
<v Speaker 2>what she did and that she loves her, but Mollie
<v Speaker 2>is still like kind of out of it, I think,
<v Speaker 2>And then she leaves to go visit Crystal because Crystal
<v Speaker 2>is in the same hospital recovery, and Crystal is basically like,
<v Speaker 2>it's fine, I got my first lead the same way.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, she's and she's like I needed.
<v Speaker 2>A rest anyway, and Crystal is like, come give me
<v Speaker 2>a kiss, and then they make out.
<v Speaker 3>I know, okay, there was definitely I don't.
<v Speaker 1>Really your favorite.
<v Speaker 2>I needed that break, yes, And then Crystal gives her
<v Speaker 2>her hat, and I don't know, it's like sexual, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's like you know, like kids like how they always
<v Speaker 2>like flirt. I remember in like middle school, like all
<v Speaker 2>the girls would like steal a boy's hat and wear it,
<v Speaker 2>and that was like flirting. That's what it was giving,
<v Speaker 2>but like grown up version, like here, wear my cowboy hat. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>sexy lady. I was like, oh my god, it's okay.
<v Speaker 2>And then then she cries. I think, NOI cries. I
<v Speaker 2>don't remember who cries. I said she cries. Maybe they
<v Speaker 2>both cry. Nomi leaves and hitches and she gets a
<v Speaker 2>ride with that same loser from the beginning, and she
<v Speaker 2>pulls a knife on him and is like I want
<v Speaker 2>my fucking suitcase.
<v Speaker 3>And then it ends with.
<v Speaker 2>Him like swerving around again and they're heading out of
<v Speaker 2>town and you see the billboard that's like know me.
<v Speaker 3>Malone in Goddess, So it's like she got her dream.
<v Speaker 3>But then she's leading it.
<v Speaker 1>Like all these fucked up things happen afterwards for real.
<v Speaker 2>So that was like a wild ride. But I fucking
<v Speaker 2>love this movie. I love it so much, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>sad that Show Girls two sucks, but I think they should.
<v Speaker 1>Just I should remake it.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, they should just read it and I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>maybe make it just making out they like end up together.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, they can like like maybe they reconnect.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, we'll be the leads on this project.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I'm like this, we have to Yes, so many ideas. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>so I wanted to ask. Okay, it's munch merge murder time. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>our options are know Me, Crystal, and Penny.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, do you know yours?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know all.
<v Speaker 2>I would definitely merge with Crystal because I love her
<v Speaker 2>and I think I could change her.
<v Speaker 1>I would murder Crystal too, Okay, yeah, I would murder Penny. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and then.
<v Speaker 3>I think so too.
<v Speaker 2>I think so too, because they didn't show us enough
<v Speaker 2>of the other characters to get to know them that well, and.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know Penny was just really they.
<v Speaker 1>Know Me is like Crystal is a little bit more
<v Speaker 1>like level headed. I know she's so like a bitch,
<v Speaker 1>but like, know Me is very crazy, so we like
<v Speaker 1>it would not be it'd be crazy all the time.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I do really like know Me because you know
<v Speaker 2>she's a very loyal friend.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah she is.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, she's like you hurt my Molly, like I will
<v Speaker 2>kill you, almost make you wish.
<v Speaker 3>You were dead, bitch. Okay, what would you rate this
<v Speaker 3>movie on a scale of one to five.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, five cherries.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I do not understand how it got such bad reviews
<v Speaker 2>and people made fun of it so much, And I'm like, girl,
<v Speaker 2>they made fun of it, but they probably watched it
<v Speaker 2>at home. All the men probably duck it like you.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Whatever, It's so good. I love it. Okay.

<v Speaker 4>Episode Welcome back.
<v Speaker 1>We are diving into a listener question in our Deer
<v Speaker 1>Dike segments.
<v Speaker 5>Dear dig plenty, some bus, Dear dig Hell, Please dude Dugs,
<v Speaker 5>I need to us dude Dykes skate.
<v Speaker 1>Dear Dykes.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, the question is, dear dikes, what is the biggest
<v Speaker 2>walking red flag that you've ever dated and did you
<v Speaker 2>ignore it?
<v Speaker 3>And this is from Gabby.
<v Speaker 1>Would you like to go first?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I stated a cancer.
<v Speaker 2>My first relationship was with a You're an aquarius and
<v Speaker 2>that's the crazy thing.
<v Speaker 1>Cancer and Aquarius is do not know?
<v Speaker 2>It's a really bad mix. Very I should have realized that.
<v Speaker 2>And I have friends that are cancers, but I could
<v Speaker 2>never be.
<v Speaker 3>In a relationship with them. That's what I have loved it.
<v Speaker 1>What about you?
<v Speaker 3>That's the lessons.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry to anyone that's a cancer out there. It's
<v Speaker 2>just not a good match for me. Sure a good
<v Speaker 2>match for other signs.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly, yeah, exactly, Yeah, and you're like fuck cancer. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Red flag. Well, we talked about like dating dating, not
<v Speaker 1>like serious relationship, but like somebody that I was like
<v Speaker 1>beginning to be with. I feel like lying about little things,
<v Speaker 1>but this was like kind of a bit a big thing.
<v Speaker 1>She lied about her age, so I was like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even remember that. Yeah, and then she was
<v Speaker 1>like trying to say that she didn't know that I
<v Speaker 1>was the age that I was, and I was like, no,
<v Speaker 1>that's not true, because I absolutely told you and you
<v Speaker 1>said that you were this age.
<v Speaker 3>It's giving to catch a predator.
<v Speaker 2>How they would always feel like, oh she said she
<v Speaker 2>was eighteen, and said she was twelve.
<v Speaker 3>It's written right here.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and she was just like trying to also be
<v Speaker 1>like oh my god, yeah, usually like I date like
<v Speaker 1>near my age. And I was like, I'm very confused
<v Speaker 1>right now because we had a conversation about like school,
<v Speaker 1>and then we were talking about like graduation, and that's
<v Speaker 1>when she let it slip that she had graduated, and
<v Speaker 1>I said, excuse me, when did you graduate? I was like,
<v Speaker 1>I was like what, And then she repeated my graduation
<v Speaker 1>day back to me. So I was like, yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>know how old that makes me? And she's like yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then she's like, oh, no, I didn't. And I
<v Speaker 1>was like, bitch, you're lying. Yes you did, because I
<v Speaker 1>literally went into my messages and I was like you
<v Speaker 1>saw that, and do you see where you said that
<v Speaker 1>you were this age? So then yeah, I was like yeah, no,
<v Speaker 1>and then she still wanted to try to be together
<v Speaker 1>and I said no, so now you're getting blocked front
<v Speaker 1>of you. I was like, no, I feel like that's
<v Speaker 1>just it's not like it wasn't like a crazy like
<v Speaker 1>she wasn't like a teenager or anything, but it was
<v Speaker 1>just more so like laired the way she Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It was like when you were like I was like
<v Speaker 2>early twenties and she was like older than she said.
<v Speaker 3>Was younger than she was sad, I'm just kidding. I
<v Speaker 3>think I misunderstood this.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's okay.
<v Speaker 3>I was thinking about a friend that you had that
<v Speaker 3>said that.
<v Speaker 1>They were is there was another friend that lied and
<v Speaker 1>said she was my age, but she was actually older
<v Speaker 1>than I was.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I thought you were just now telling me that
<v Speaker 2>you actually dated that friend.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, I lie to you about their age.
<v Speaker 1>That friendship was before this person. So when she had
<v Speaker 1>told me that, and she was just like, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>have to tell you something that's really big, and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh, yeah, like you know, yeah, so that
<v Speaker 1>was weird. Yeah, you're right, people are lying to me
<v Speaker 1>about their age.
<v Speaker 3>Let me see you right, Yeah, that's right.
<v Speaker 1>And it's just like one of the things that I
<v Speaker 1>had as like something that I felt comfortable with like
<v Speaker 1>pursuing like a relationship that I like wanted it to
<v Speaker 1>be and it wouldn't have been like a crazy thing
<v Speaker 1>if she didn't try to like gaslight me and be
<v Speaker 1>so like defensive and I'm like no. And then after
<v Speaker 1>when I was just like okay, no, like relationship here,
<v Speaker 1>maybe friends in the future something or acquaintances. But then
<v Speaker 1>she's just like no, I'm going to change your mind
<v Speaker 1>because we would be ce couple and like no, because
<v Speaker 1>you don't respect boundaries, so I'm not going to be
<v Speaker 1>your friend. Yeah, and then she continuously tried reaching out.
<v Speaker 3>It's weird, so I was like.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I feel like we didn't talk for enough,
<v Speaker 2>so I'm gonna tell you another one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I felt like the segment after the break was too short,
<v Speaker 2>so I was thinking about it because we were talking
<v Speaker 2>about I don't know which episode it was, but it
<v Speaker 2>might have been this episode. We were talking about straight girls,
<v Speaker 2>like lesbians that date straight girls, and I before I
<v Speaker 2>started dating my wife was I had hooked up and like,
<v Speaker 2>was hanging out with a straight girl.
<v Speaker 3>That's crazy that I did that.
<v Speaker 2>And I wasn't even attracted, Like she was beautiful, but
<v Speaker 2>I'm not attracted to like fems and she was very feminine.
<v Speaker 2>So I think it's because the dating pool was really small.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so you had a.
<v Speaker 2>She's into it, and I that was not a good idea.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of knew that she you know, she made it.
<v Speaker 2>She was exploring like her sexuality, right. But I mean
<v Speaker 2>as soon as I broke it off with her, she
<v Speaker 2>got into a full on relationship with a guy that
<v Speaker 2>she told me she didn't even like. Oh and now
<v Speaker 2>they're married and have a child.
<v Speaker 3>Oh god, ten years ago. But yeah, I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 3>maybe I.
<v Speaker 2>Did her a favor though, for real, because I broke
<v Speaker 2>it off with her. When I met WAW, I was
<v Speaker 2>like I met someone that I really like. I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 2>like I don't want to continue like hanging out, and
<v Speaker 2>she's like that's okay. And she was like acting like
<v Speaker 2>she was so sad. But then the guy that she
<v Speaker 2>had been like not dating, they started dating immediately.
<v Speaker 3>After, so I was like, I feel like they were
<v Speaker 3>already dating. Whatever. They're married now, yes, I mean I
<v Speaker 3>don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I was friends with her on Facebook for a long
<v Speaker 2>time and I don't know that we are anymore. So
<v Speaker 2>maybe they're not married anymore, but they were for a
<v Speaker 2>while and they have a child. So anyway, I guess
<v Speaker 2>I helped her out I got that out of her
<v Speaker 2>system trying out you got it?
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, he checked it off of her bucket legs.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, now she can talk about it. I know, I
<v Speaker 3>have another friend like that.
<v Speaker 1>That think back fondly. She's like, yeah, my lesbian.
<v Speaker 2>Face, Yes, okay, I have another friend like that. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>she's not really my friend anymore, but she.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>It's funny because that roommate I talked I've talked about
<v Speaker 2>before Lucas. He was like, I always feel like that
<v Speaker 2>girl like has a crush on you, and I was like, no,
<v Speaker 2>she's straight, like whatever. And then like we got drunk
<v Speaker 2>and like hooked up one time, and then I tried
<v Speaker 2>to talk to her about it the next day and
<v Speaker 2>she was like, I don't want to ever talk about
<v Speaker 2>it again. And I was like, oh, okay, so she
<v Speaker 2>feels like really weird about it, So then it was
<v Speaker 2>like weird. But then we were like still friends, and
<v Speaker 2>then like six months later we got really drunk and
<v Speaker 2>hooked up again.
<v Speaker 1>She was like, I don't want to talk about it anither, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I want to.
<v Speaker 3>Talk about it ever again. And she's married and has
<v Speaker 3>three kids. But anyway, I'm just saying oh my god.
<v Speaker 2>No, but it's just funny because I do think, like,
<v Speaker 2>is she ever like, you know, hanging out with her
<v Speaker 2>mom friends and they talk about scandalous things, like one
<v Speaker 2>time I had like a fling with a woman and.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't just once, it was twice.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, it was so weird.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, you're making them more interesting, Kaitlyn. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we can.
<v Speaker 3>Talk about it now. It's fine.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure it wasn't good because I was so drunk.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I don't even remember. The room was spinning.
<v Speaker 2>It was probably like what's happening? I don't know any who.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, that was fun. It's time for queer trivia.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yes, okay, Oh my god, do you want to
<v Speaker 1>go to me first?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, this one is calling to me. Okay, oh, we
<v Speaker 3>were just talking about this show.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my gosh.
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Who plays Jules Bond in the TV show Euphoria? Is
<v Speaker 2>it A's and Dea b Hunter Shaeffer? See Sydney Sweeney
<v Speaker 2>d Jacob Elordi.
<v Speaker 1>It is b Hunter Shafer.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay, wait, did you watch Euphoria?
<v Speaker 1>I had watched a couple episodes when it came out,
<v Speaker 1>but I didn't finish it. But I'm watching it again
<v Speaker 1>with Yaman because she finished it, okay, So I'm like
<v Speaker 1>a little bit further now, like two episodes more than
<v Speaker 1>I originally was.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I do like it, but then I
<v Speaker 2>also felt weird about it because they were like, well, yes,
<v Speaker 2>and it was so obvious, like we were watching it,
<v Speaker 2>We're like, why are there so many penises? And then
<v Speaker 2>we were like, I think a man directed this, and
<v Speaker 2>it is a man, a creepy.
<v Speaker 3>Weird man.
<v Speaker 2>Because then he made that show with Lily Rose Up
<v Speaker 2>and the Weekend, and I didn't watch that show, but
<v Speaker 2>it got like a lot of people were like, this
<v Speaker 2>was really bad and it was just like taking advantage
<v Speaker 2>of them, these young actors or the young girl. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, but I do like some of the storylines
<v Speaker 2>from Euphoria.
<v Speaker 3>And I don't like Jewels.
<v Speaker 2>Oh so now you know, but you probably haven't gotten
<v Speaker 2>to the reason I don't like her, so.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so yeah, it's barely where like her
<v Speaker 1>and we were like hanging out and stuff, but.
<v Speaker 2>Like, yeah, you know, I mean, I guess Rue is
<v Speaker 2>not that likable either. To be honest, you hate Jewels
<v Speaker 2>more I hate Jewels Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Well I'll get to that okay and be like, I
<v Speaker 1>see why you hear her, and be like, oh my god, Caitlin,
<v Speaker 1>I know why you hear. I'm like I also probably
<v Speaker 1>or you're.
<v Speaker 3>Gonna watch it all and be like, why doesn't she
<v Speaker 3>like her?
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, and I kind of liked her. She wasn't
<v Speaker 1>that bad. I hate ruemore. Okay. Which country has the
<v Speaker 1>oldest known cave paintings definitively depicting same sex relationships, possibly
<v Speaker 1>dating back as far as eight thousand years? Shit? Is
<v Speaker 1>it a France? B Ethiopia, d Italy? Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>I just skipped see I'm so sorry see Zimbabwe. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know why. My like eyes literally was like like
<v Speaker 1>it was like going in like the right direction. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>do you want me to repeat that? I'm so sorry.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, okay, there was France, Italy, ZIMBABWEI girl, I was
<v Speaker 2>gonna say Egypt and that's not on there, so fuck.
<v Speaker 2>And then my next guest wait, wait, my next guest
<v Speaker 2>was Rome, which is in Italy, so I'm going with Italy.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, it was see Zimbabwe. Oh right, wow.
<v Speaker 3>That way I need to learn more.
<v Speaker 1>I that's crazy as far back as eight thousand years?
<v Speaker 3>Wow? Wow?
<v Speaker 1>Should we do one more? Do we have time for
<v Speaker 1>one more? Nor?
<v Speaker 3>What we did that?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 3>You need to leave, so sorry.
