<v Speaker 1>Welcome to But I'm a Lesbian, the podcast where we
<v Speaker 1>serve all Betty SaaS, queer, film reviews, and everything in between.
<v Speaker 1>Whether you were a baby, gay.
<v Speaker 2>Or a queer elder, we're here, We're queer, and we're
<v Speaker 2>diving deep into all things lesbian. We're your hosts, Caitlin
<v Speaker 2>and Angelina. Get ready for some sapphic serotonin. We are
<v Speaker 2>so excited. I said this last week. I say this
<v Speaker 2>a lot.
<v Speaker 1>You're so excited every week.
<v Speaker 2>I know, even if it's a bad movie, I'm excited
<v Speaker 2>to talk about it because it's fun. But we're excited
<v Speaker 2>about this one. This was also a much requested movie.
<v Speaker 2>This is a classic now it is from two thousand
<v Speaker 2>and six. So this movie is from when you were
<v Speaker 2>a child, and I was technically a child, I was sixteen,
<v Speaker 2>but I I remember this time very well. I was
<v Speaker 2>a teenager. Okay, So this movie is from two thousand
<v Speaker 2>and six. It's the lesbian rom com Imagine Me and You.
<v Speaker 2>This film stars Piper Parabo, who I feel.
<v Speaker 3>Like at this time was kind of typecast as a lesbian.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was also Imagine Me and You.
<v Speaker 2>In the early two thousands and Lena Hetty who I
<v Speaker 2>didn't really know who she was, but she's very popular
<v Speaker 2>because of Game of Thrones.
<v Speaker 1>But I never watched Game of Thrones. I used to
<v Speaker 1>remember her from like clips, but I never watched her
<v Speaker 1>in anything else. Yeah, So I mean like I knew
<v Speaker 1>of her, but not like, oh my god, like she's
<v Speaker 1>so good in this other yeah movie.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I never watched Game of Thrones, and I remember
<v Speaker 2>when it was really popular. People were always like, oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, you need to watch it, but I refuse
<v Speaker 2>to watch it because of apparently there was like a
<v Speaker 2>incestuous rape scene and I read about it in a
<v Speaker 2>in this magazine when it first started, and I was like, nah,
<v Speaker 2>fuck that, I will never support this show.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I know people are really big fans of it, and
<v Speaker 2>that was probably like one messed up thing that happened
<v Speaker 2>in a sea of other things that were really good
<v Speaker 2>and entertaining, but I never watched it because of that.
<v Speaker 1>I've also heard of incest but I didn't know about that.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, it was like the brother and sister that they
<v Speaker 2>were together, but then she like gave birth and she
<v Speaker 2>didn't want to do sex with him because probably she
<v Speaker 2>had just given birth and he like forced her.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I haven't seen it, but this is what I read
<v Speaker 2>in a Bitch or Bust one of those, because I
<v Speaker 2>was really into the fat time.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, Lena Hetty is in it. She is very pretty.
<v Speaker 2>And this film talks quite a bit about the concept
<v Speaker 2>of love at first sight, Like they really do talk
<v Speaker 2>about it.
<v Speaker 1>Over like in almost every scene.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're like, we just really, But I think it's
<v Speaker 2>also because they're really trying to sell, Like this was
<v Speaker 2>two thousand and six and this was a mainstream movie
<v Speaker 2>and it was about gay people, so I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>they kept trying to sell, Like it's just.
<v Speaker 3>Like if you saw a really hot guy and I
<v Speaker 3>love him. I don't know, but I wanted to ask,
<v Speaker 3>do you believe in love at first sight?
<v Speaker 2>Angelina?
<v Speaker 1>I think some people can definitely be like, Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>saw my partner and I knew that I loved them,
<v Speaker 1>and I wanted to marry them and be with them.
<v Speaker 1>I believe that's valid. However, that was not the case
<v Speaker 1>for me. I was attracted to my partner, but I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't like, oh my god, I'm in love because that
<v Speaker 1>would be kind of crazy to me. I would be
<v Speaker 1>a red flag. If someone told me that, I'd be like, whoa,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to date you. So thankfully Yami's not
<v Speaker 1>like that either. Yeah, but I think it's cute, yeah
<v Speaker 1>ery like in movies late things, Yeah, what about you?
<v Speaker 1>It is very rom com the concept.
<v Speaker 3>I think.
<v Speaker 2>I don't really believe in love at first sight. I
<v Speaker 2>believe that you can fall in lust at first sight,
<v Speaker 2>Like you can be like, this person's really hot, I
<v Speaker 2>really want to get to know them, or I want
<v Speaker 2>to do stuff with them. I know, like a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people are like that, you know, like I've told
<v Speaker 2>I've talked to think about like friends i've hung out
<v Speaker 2>with where Because this is how I realize I think
<v Speaker 2>I'm more like demisexual because I'm only attracted.
<v Speaker 3>People once I know them.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I have a lot of friends that are like, damn,
<v Speaker 2>I want to fuck that guy, and I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>You're like, oh okay.
<v Speaker 3>So I believe that there's like lust at first site.
<v Speaker 2>You can have like like a really intense attraction to
<v Speaker 2>someone like, but I don't think that you can fall
<v Speaker 2>in love with them at first site.
<v Speaker 3>And I also think.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of that, like what people might think of
<v Speaker 2>as love at first site.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I think it has to do with that person being
<v Speaker 2>like a really magnetic, charismatic person, Like maybe a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people feel like that about that certain person.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, like they're drawn to them.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, like it's somebody that is just like.
<v Speaker 1>A Shane like are like whoa, Like I'm.
<v Speaker 2>So curious and interesting. I don't know, but I don't
<v Speaker 2>believe in love at first sight. I do believe in
<v Speaker 2>like the invisible string theory, which we've talked about, because
<v Speaker 2>I feel like we have both experienced that, and I
<v Speaker 2>think we talked about it when we talked about like
<v Speaker 2>our like love stories, but like we both went to
<v Speaker 2>school with our partners in PE class, yes, and had
<v Speaker 2>PE with them and then reconnected years later.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah it's yeah literally yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So like it's weird.
<v Speaker 2>So I feel like it's like if someone is meant
<v Speaker 2>to be in your life, maybe you can kind of
<v Speaker 2>tell that in a way.
<v Speaker 3>But I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's all wild, but I don't I don't really
<v Speaker 2>think you can just like love someone.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>It's also hard because I used to watch a lot
<v Speaker 2>of catfish and people would be like I'm in love
<v Speaker 2>with her, and I'm like, you never met her, but
<v Speaker 2>they're like, but I've been talking to her for six
<v Speaker 2>years and I feel like I love her. But then
<v Speaker 2>it turns out to be a totally different person, you know,
<v Speaker 2>so like did you really were you really in love
<v Speaker 2>with them or you were in love with like the
<v Speaker 2>concept of who you thought they were. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I have met people from online before, but I have
<v Speaker 2>not fallen in love with them before I knew them.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway. That was interesting.
<v Speaker 2>I was curious because I was kind of thinking you
<v Speaker 2>might be like, yeah, and I believe in.
<v Speaker 1>Love at first sight. Yeah, he's watching this at home, like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fun ride? She's like, wait, what, No, that
<v Speaker 1>would be that would be kind of crazy. It is.
<v Speaker 2>It was a little crazy.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, moving on.
<v Speaker 2>Do you have any hot takes of burning desires that
<v Speaker 2>you want to share about this movie?
<v Speaker 1>Yes? Oh, I remember when I first watched this movie
<v Speaker 1>and then again for this episode. I remember thinking that
<v Speaker 1>Heck wasn't such a bad person. I didn't think he
<v Speaker 1>was a bad person then, but I put he was
<v Speaker 1>okay for a man character. Yeah, yeah, which I think,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when I had first watched it. I was
<v Speaker 1>just like, oh my god, they need to get him
<v Speaker 1>out of here. He's not bad, but I'm like, he
<v Speaker 1>just needs to leave, like he clearly knows that.
<v Speaker 2>Like you know, yeah, You're like obviously they're remember each other. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he needs to just get out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I was like, he needs to go. What is
<v Speaker 1>he doing? Yeah? But then I felt bad for him.
<v Speaker 1>But then you know, he was fine. So what about you?
<v Speaker 2>I did say, I said, I feel bad for Heck.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like he really loved Rachel and it's sad.
<v Speaker 2>But I think in the end he realized, Like I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, I think there's been other movies with this
<v Speaker 2>type of concept, where like, would you really be happy
<v Speaker 2>if the person that you love stayed with you even
<v Speaker 2>though you knew that they love someone else more and
<v Speaker 2>they're unhappy with you? Like if you really loved them,
<v Speaker 2>you would want them to be truly happy. And I
<v Speaker 2>feel like he realizes that at some point. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>also wrote, even though I said I feel bad for Heck,
<v Speaker 2>I don't understand why he's friends with Cooper, And I
<v Speaker 2>don't understand why anyone would be friends with.
<v Speaker 1>Cooper because he's disgusting and I hate him.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So it kind of makes me think maybe Heck
<v Speaker 2>is not that great of a guy, because why is
<v Speaker 2>he friends with such a tool.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's just like, oh, that's my friend, at least
<v Speaker 1>that's not me. But you are the company that you
<v Speaker 1>hang around with.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you're the company you keep.
<v Speaker 2>If you choose to have somebody like that be in
<v Speaker 2>your wedding, you must be very close to them.
<v Speaker 3>And he is a piece of shit.
<v Speaker 1>He is. He's actually disgusting.
<v Speaker 2>And I also don't understand why Luce decided to be
<v Speaker 2>friends with him either did I? But then I thought
<v Speaker 2>maybe thought maybe it's because she knows that he is
<v Speaker 2>also friends with Rachel, so she's like, this is my
<v Speaker 2>way to stay still close to Rachel. But I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>he was so gross, he was kept trying to like he.
<v Speaker 3>Ill, Why would she be friends with him?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Also, I feel like this goes back to me thinking, well,
<v Speaker 2>this was two thousand and six. They were trying to
<v Speaker 2>make like lesbians approachable, so they're like, look, lesbians, aren't
<v Speaker 2>me friends.
<v Speaker 1>With nice even though he's like harassing her, She'll still
<v Speaker 1>be your friends with him. She's just like, it's not
<v Speaker 1>going to happen, but we can be friends. And I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>no way would that actually happen. Why would you want
<v Speaker 1>to be friends with somebody like that?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay, so weird.
<v Speaker 2>So we're going to take a quick break, but when
<v Speaker 2>we get back we will go through the recap. So
<v Speaker 2>while we're out, do some reach it. I cannot talk
<v Speaker 2>today girl or yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, do some research, some research on your favorite types
<v Speaker 2>of flowers while we're out, because Loose on's a flower shop.
<v Speaker 1>Just a hint.
<v Speaker 2>If you haven't watched the movie, see You soon, welcome
<v Speaker 2>back to but I'm a lesbian. This week we are
<v Speaker 2>discussing imagine me and you.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, okay. So the film begins with a woman getting
<v Speaker 1>ready for her wedding. Meanwhile, another woman is at a
<v Speaker 1>flower shop. This is Loose since me says she owns
<v Speaker 1>a flower shop. She's taking an order and she's getting
<v Speaker 1>her car ready because she's leaving to go to a
<v Speaker 1>wedding to deliver flowers. Oh my god, can we guess
<v Speaker 1>whose wedding she's gonna be at? So her name is
<v Speaker 1>Loose and she arrives to the wedding and she introduces
<v Speaker 1>herself to the groom. Heck, and Asluse is like making
<v Speaker 1>friends with the people at the wedding, Rachel the bride
<v Speaker 1>is like on her way to the thing, and then
<v Speaker 1>she stops at McDonald's cause she hasp so she's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, what on. But as she gets there,
<v Speaker 1>she's walking down the aisle with her dad and she
<v Speaker 1>just happens to like turn and Soluse is walking by,
<v Speaker 1>and they make eye contact and it is very powerful.
<v Speaker 1>It's like an intense moment because she's just like whoa
<v Speaker 1>and then she like, yeah, I love it. First sight,
<v Speaker 1>it seemed that way for both of them because they
<v Speaker 1>both were like, oh my god. And then she like
<v Speaker 1>turns and she keeps walking, and I just thought that
<v Speaker 1>was so funny. Like when I first saw it, I'm like, wow,
<v Speaker 1>that's the moment that they she's literally gonna get married.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, okay, So I saw this movie a long time ago. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and I just rewatched it for this. For some reason,
<v Speaker 2>I made it in my mind that she was about
<v Speaker 2>to get married and that she doesn't actually get married
<v Speaker 2>and they like call off the wedding. So I made
<v Speaker 2>that up. She is getting married Like.
<v Speaker 1>That sounds like another Yeah, So like another lesbian movie. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but no, she does get married to Heck. Then they
<v Speaker 1>celebrate and everyone's having a good time, and LuSE goes
<v Speaker 1>over to meet Rachel and Rachel's at the punch bowl
<v Speaker 1>and she's just like, oh, hi, I did your flowers,
<v Speaker 1>which I feel like it's kind of weird to me
<v Speaker 1>because neither Heck or Rachel knew her. But I'm like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>so who hired her? Like, did the parents hire her
<v Speaker 1>to do the flowers? Because she's like, oh, I didn't know, Like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like when people are like rich and have
<v Speaker 2>like weddings, I feel like, oftentimes do they have like
<v Speaker 2>a wedding planner like that movie Lopez. So maybe they
<v Speaker 2>hired a planner, the planner hired loose, you know, and
<v Speaker 2>so they don't know, or maybe it's the parents.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, could be right, because it seemed like
<v Speaker 4>a very big event, so it's fancy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So they are introduced and Rachel tells Lucy she
<v Speaker 1>dropped her ring in the punch bowl, and so luc
<v Speaker 1>is like, oh my god, your wedding ring. And I
<v Speaker 1>feel like that's a sign, yes, I meant to be
<v Speaker 1>married because he didn't even get the ring size right.
<v Speaker 1>But also it fell in the punch bowl literally the
<v Speaker 1>day they got married. The day they got married, and
<v Speaker 1>she was just like, oh my god. So Louse is
<v Speaker 1>helping her get it out, and Cooper, the best man,
<v Speaker 1>asks Loose to dance, and she accepts for some weird reason,
<v Speaker 1>and he's like, because.
<v Speaker 2>Lesbians aren't mean, they're nice, and she so friendly entertained
<v Speaker 2>straight men. Apparently.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, because I don't remember her being that
<v Speaker 1>nice to him in my head when I first watched it,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, she's definitely meaner to.
<v Speaker 2>Him, but I was very sorised she was.
<v Speaker 1>She was so fucking nice. I was like, what. So
<v Speaker 1>she does dance, She dance with him, She dances with him.
<v Speaker 1>I can't speak either. She do dance. She and he's
<v Speaker 1>flirting with her, and so they're passing Rachel and Heck,
<v Speaker 1>and Rachel's like looking at her like oh okay. So
<v Speaker 1>as they're doing their speeches, LuSE goes home and the
<v Speaker 1>next day, Rachel stops by at Luc's shop to thank
<v Speaker 1>her and invites her to dinner with her and Heck,
<v Speaker 1>of course, and so Lucy's like, yeah, sure, like of course,
<v Speaker 1>I'll go to dinner with you guys. So at an auction,
<v Speaker 1>Rachel tells Heck that she has a plan to set
<v Speaker 1>up Coop and Loose because she thinks that they're going
<v Speaker 1>to make a good couple. Yeah, because she saw them
<v Speaker 1>dancing at the wedding. She's like, yeah, God, we're going
<v Speaker 1>to be friends with Luce and she's gonna.
<v Speaker 2>Be with Coop.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna be like such great, Oh my god friend
<v Speaker 1>double day. Yeah. And so back at home, LuSE arrives
<v Speaker 1>to her mom's house and talks to her and is
<v Speaker 1>basically telling her mom like she wishes that her mom
<v Speaker 1>had a life, and I was like, wow, oh yeah.
<v Speaker 2>She's like are you going to go on a date
<v Speaker 2>or is it? She like keep asking the mom, like
<v Speaker 2>pushing the mom to date.
<v Speaker 1>To date, and the mom's like I'm depressed, Like no,
<v Speaker 1>and she's just like, I really wish you had a life.
<v Speaker 2>And I was like, oh, okay, Louise, I don't think
<v Speaker 2>that's a thing to say to someone that is depressed.
<v Speaker 2>But maybe people didn't know that in two thousand and six.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, I don't think it.
<v Speaker 2>Just to be like quirky, she's like, mom, get life. Mom, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I know you're depressed. I don't think you should go
<v Speaker 2>talk to someone about it or get medication.
<v Speaker 1>She's like go on a date and everything. Yeah. I
<v Speaker 1>was like that's so mean. So they anyways, Lusa arrives
<v Speaker 1>to dinner with Flowers and they're talking and they're getting
<v Speaker 1>to know each other. So as Rachel's in the kitchen
<v Speaker 1>doing the getting water for the flowers, Heck is talking
<v Speaker 1>to Loose and is asking like, oh, are you dating anybody?
<v Speaker 1>And she's like no, and he's like do you plan
<v Speaker 1>to get married? And she's like no, unless the laws
<v Speaker 1>have changed because I'm gay. And he's like what and
<v Speaker 1>she's like yeah, and he's like, oh, shoot, okay.
<v Speaker 3>This is because with the man.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So at dinner, obviously Coop is there now and
<v Speaker 1>they discuss how they know when someone is in love.
<v Speaker 1>So Loose believes in love at first sight, while Rachel
<v Speaker 1>thinks that it takes time, like you can grow to
<v Speaker 1>love somebody. And so they get to like a little
<v Speaker 1>debate because Rachel's like, no, you're wrong, and Lisa's like, no,
<v Speaker 1>you just know, like you know.
<v Speaker 2>It's also pretty obviously because she is gay and had
<v Speaker 2>to force herself to like learn to love Heck.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So she's like, I grew to learn to love Heck.
<v Speaker 1>He's my best friend. Like everyone feels like that, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>She's like, we're just besties, that's it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So Coop tells Heck because Rachel and Luce have gone off,
<v Speaker 1>he tells him that he's going to have sex with Loose,
<v Speaker 1>and Heck is like, well, good luck because she's a lesbian.
<v Speaker 1>And then Coop says that anyone can change teams, and
<v Speaker 1>I think that's disgusting. Yeah, I hate him so much.
<v Speaker 1>And Heck is just like no, all he does is
<v Speaker 1>really like he doesn't really tell him anything about his behavior.
<v Speaker 1>He's just like, no, that's it. And I'm like what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck? Yeah, but again, like you said, this is
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and six, and that sucks.
<v Speaker 2>So it was like more accepted to say the same things.
<v Speaker 2>It's still accepted by a lot of people, but it's
<v Speaker 2>not accepted by.
<v Speaker 1>Me exactly, and it never what Yeah, I'm like not,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck? So Loose and Rachel talk outside in
<v Speaker 1>the rain and Rachel's like, oh my god, I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>like hahi. I kind of went off during dinner, which
<v Speaker 1>I didn't really think she kind of went off. She
<v Speaker 1>was just like, no in her accents, Oh yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>what she's said.
<v Speaker 2>Because it's also funny because I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I guess I'm not. I don't know British accents.
<v Speaker 2>But just because I know that Piper is American, I
<v Speaker 2>was like, her accent sounds fake, but maybe I was wrong.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>It's probably better than when I do an accent.
<v Speaker 1>No, you do great impressions. Oh my god, I do
<v Speaker 1>it better.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>You have to talk in a British accent. You're doing
<v Speaker 1>like a specific pirate. Yeah. Yeah, it's because there was
<v Speaker 1>this movie.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you've seen it, just go with it, okay.
<v Speaker 2>When they meet, Jennifer Aniston's kids are like, can I
<v Speaker 2>do an accent?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>And she goes yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Like no, He's like, why were you're British?
<v Speaker 2>Now?
<v Speaker 1>Why are you pirates?
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, it's kind of a funny movie. I didn't think
<v Speaker 2>it would be that funny, but it is.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I liked it.
<v Speaker 2>I like I like Adam Sandler because he's funny, and
<v Speaker 2>he's like my weekend style icon because I always wear
<v Speaker 2>my basketball shorts and like look really like I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>Saidler on the Weekend Style, but he's a Trumper, so yeah, okay, someone.
<v Speaker 1>Can I thought it was only back.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my gosh, I feel like he's in.
<v Speaker 2>He was exposed as being like a Trump like a
<v Speaker 2>few years ago, and I was so sad because I
<v Speaker 2>was like, but he's so funny, like I love The
<v Speaker 2>Water Boy, I know, and Big Daddy so many things,
<v Speaker 2>but maybe a lot of the movies were before that.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, yeah, Rob Schneider definitely.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I knew Rob Schneider was He's coming like near
<v Speaker 1>here soon.
<v Speaker 2>I saw an ad for it and I was like, eh,
<v Speaker 2>And then I looked in the comments and all the
<v Speaker 2>comments were like, I hope he makes jokes jokes about
<v Speaker 2>all the woke people or whatever, and I was like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's his only audience now, is people like you that
<v Speaker 2>think it's funny to make fun of people for being woke.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I hate that. That's devastating. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how I'm gonna go on.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I think I'm right.
<v Speaker 3>But okay, I'm so sorry. What were we talking about?
<v Speaker 2>Why are you talking about Standler?
<v Speaker 1>Oh? Because the accident.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think Piper's accent is not that good, but.
<v Speaker 1>I agree she didn't do a good accent. I agree
<v Speaker 1>with you. So outside, they're talking and she's just like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, I'm so sorry I went off and
<v Speaker 1>she's like, no, it's okay. And she starts like touching
<v Speaker 1>loose because she's like, oh my god, what are you
<v Speaker 1>doing out here? Like it's raining, and Louse is like
<v Speaker 1>it's wonderful, like it's beautiful out here. And Rachel's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, no, you're like gonna get all wet here,
<v Speaker 1>have my sweater. So she gives her sweaters.
<v Speaker 3>Like I don't want you to get all wet.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, She's like don't. Oh my god. She gives her
<v Speaker 1>her sweater, and then Heck is like, okay, guys, I
<v Speaker 1>think it's he is like looking up at them. They
<v Speaker 1>have like a three story place, don't they. They're rich, rich,
<v Speaker 1>they're rich, Like they're literally like the top, and he's
<v Speaker 1>like talking to them from like the top, and he's like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>I think it's time to go because Coop wants to
<v Speaker 1>play like strip poker or whatever, and I just don't
<v Speaker 1>like it's time for him to leave. Yeah, so Louse,
<v Speaker 1>let's coop drive him drive her home, and and he's
<v Speaker 1>just like still trying to like fuck her basically, and
<v Speaker 1>she's just like, oh my god. No. So they stop
<v Speaker 1>at a restaurant and they're talking and he's just like,
<v Speaker 1>that's me. She's like no, you know what, like we're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna happen, but we can be friends. And so
<v Speaker 1>he's just like, Okay, tell me about your girl troubles
<v Speaker 1>or like, tell me what's going on right now, because
<v Speaker 1>you look like something like you look like there's something
<v Speaker 1>troubling you. And she's just like, have you ever met
<v Speaker 1>a person and thought that they would like be in
<v Speaker 1>your life or like you just knew them already. And
<v Speaker 1>he's just like hmm, he just says something about fucking them,
<v Speaker 1>he said yeah, and she's just like yeah, And well
<v Speaker 1>she's actually like opening up to him, which I'm like, okay, girl, wow,
<v Speaker 1>so I know, right, like why would you wrong? Anyways,
<v Speaker 1>So at a store, Rachel and Heck run into Loose
<v Speaker 1>and her friend, and Heck tells Rachel that Lucy is gay,
<v Speaker 1>and Lucy's friend is questioning Loose for liking Rachel because
<v Speaker 1>she's like, oh my god, are you kidding me? She's
<v Speaker 1>super straight. She's like Barbie straight.
<v Speaker 3>She's like the straightest.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, she's like really and Luca is just like whatever,
<v Speaker 1>like forget it. And so they keep running into each
<v Speaker 1>other at the store and her friend I forgot her name,
<v Speaker 1>but she Eatie. Yeah, oh yeah, Eatie. My got She's
<v Speaker 1>like it's so important that I know. I forgot her name.
<v Speaker 1>But Heck for some reason asked like, are you gay too,
<v Speaker 1>and she's just like no. I tried with her, but
<v Speaker 1>like it just didn't work because I guess Heck wanted
<v Speaker 1>to know, like that was her girl, her girlfriend or something. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and she's like no, But they just keep running into
<v Speaker 1>each other at the store.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And it is so awkward because doesn't that Does
<v Speaker 2>that happen to you when you see somebody at a
<v Speaker 2>store and then you're like, oh my god, nice to
<v Speaker 2>see you, bye, and then you and the next dial
<v Speaker 2>it's like I need to just leave. I actually did.
<v Speaker 1>One high was okay, Now that's awkward, Like.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So I liked that they had that whole thing
<v Speaker 2>because it's it's relatable.
<v Speaker 1>It was yeah, and you could tell Luce was just like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. But her friend. He's just like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, hi, Hi, yes, because then they're in the
<v Speaker 1>checkout line, yeah the same time. So silly, I did
<v Speaker 1>like that that was real. Yeah. And so Luiz gets
<v Speaker 1>a call at her shop to make a delivery to
<v Speaker 1>a restaurant, only to find out it's Coop and he's
<v Speaker 1>just like, oh my god, hey, like I know you
<v Speaker 1>want to kiss me, like I know you want to
<v Speaker 1>fuck me, And she's just like, no, we can be
<v Speaker 1>friends again for I don't know, like the thousand times
<v Speaker 1>or is it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think it is, but is it like a
<v Speaker 2>commentary on how women feel like we have to be
<v Speaker 2>nice to men so like they don't kill us? You know,
<v Speaker 2>Like is she like, well, if I don't be his friend,
<v Speaker 2>is he gonna hate crime me? So I probably thought
<v Speaker 2>it'd be nice.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>That's my only explanation for why she would be like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we can be friends.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Like thus I literally said, I why are you
<v Speaker 1>going to be friends with this man that wants to
<v Speaker 1>fuck you and thinks he can switch your sexual sexuality?
<v Speaker 2>But I know it also makes me think of Lesbon
<v Speaker 2>when she to stay friends with the guy, and it's
<v Speaker 2>like he obviously still wants her, Like, why you can't
<v Speaker 2>be friends with this guy?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, okay, to hesue, he was ugly internally and he's
<v Speaker 1>he's also like Coop making those like jokes, yes women.
<v Speaker 3>The fish joke.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So she's making questionable decisions here being friends with Coop.
<v Speaker 1>But fast forward, they're at a talent show and Loose
<v Speaker 1>and Rachel are watching this like kids talent show and
<v Speaker 1>there's like lights that like they're dim, and Rachel pictures
<v Speaker 1>herself touching Loose's hair and like so lesbian, being very intimate,
<v Speaker 1>but they do like kind of touch pinkies, so they
<v Speaker 1>sit up and they're like touching the pinkies. She's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. And then she snaps back into reality
<v Speaker 1>and the show's over and they're clapping and she's just like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. Whoa Like she got lost in Loose
<v Speaker 1>And so after Rachel's like, hey, we need to like
<v Speaker 1>have a conversation and like do you have to like
<v Speaker 1>go right now? And lo says no at first, but
<v Speaker 1>then she's like, actually, yeah, I forgot to have a delivery.
<v Speaker 1>So she leaves. Yeah, and I feel like Rachel was
<v Speaker 1>going to be like when on of those girls it's like,
<v Speaker 1>I know you're gay, but like, you know, I'm straight
<v Speaker 1>or something.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I felt like, you know, what I felt
<v Speaker 2>was gonna happen. I thought she was gonna be like,
<v Speaker 2>I found out that you're gay, and I also want
<v Speaker 2>you to know that, like, I have these feelings for you,
<v Speaker 2>but I don't know what they mean because I feel
<v Speaker 2>like she was already feeling things and then when she
<v Speaker 2>found out she was gay, I don't know. It's also
<v Speaker 2>a thing that it's kind of like, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like a lot of times strike girls either
<v Speaker 2>think that if they're friends with the lesbian, the lesbian
<v Speaker 2>is going to fall in love with her, yeah, or
<v Speaker 2>they are like, maybe I could be gay, maybe I
<v Speaker 2>like her.
<v Speaker 1>You know, like that experiment. Yes, it's so weird.
<v Speaker 2>But the other thing that I think is important to
<v Speaker 2>mention because I thought this was kind of weird, is
<v Speaker 2>that the reason that Luce was at that like show,
<v Speaker 2>that talent show was it's Rachel's little sister, who is
<v Speaker 2>like ten or something like, really made friends with Luce
<v Speaker 2>at the wedding and day she calls her and asks
<v Speaker 2>her to help her with projects and stuff, and I
<v Speaker 2>think that's nice, but that's also so weird, Like why
<v Speaker 2>ten year old child calling and hanging out with a
<v Speaker 2>thirty year old woman like that much that she invites
<v Speaker 2>her places.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, oh my god, she's like my big sister.
<v Speaker 1>But also she just really met and it's like she
<v Speaker 1>could be a weirdo.
<v Speaker 2>Like I don't know. I would be like, no, you can't.
<v Speaker 2>If I was the mom, I'd be like, why are
<v Speaker 2>you talking to this adult woman?
<v Speaker 1>Like why are you friends with her?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe maybe I could be friends with her if I
<v Speaker 2>thought she was nice, But I don't know, it just
<v Speaker 2>seems weird, like why are you friends anyway? So that
<v Speaker 2>I thought that was weird in the first place, like
<v Speaker 2>why is she at her at Rachel's little sister's thing
<v Speaker 2>right Anyway.
<v Speaker 1>She very she's like wanting to like be into their life,
<v Speaker 1>like she wants to be included there.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, okay, but it also made me think of Maggie
<v Speaker 2>and Annie, because you know, the daughter really wanted to
<v Speaker 2>be like she wanted that hair and she did them off, yes,
<v Speaker 2>and she wanted to like invite her places, you know.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm like, okay, anyway, I don't know. I just
<v Speaker 2>thought it was so interesting of those things are interesting
<v Speaker 2>to me. I'm so sorry. One more thing.
<v Speaker 1>The pinky's touchy.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, think of have you seen sausage party?
<v Speaker 1>Yes?
<v Speaker 3>I have, okay, And they would be like.
<v Speaker 2>Just the tips, like touchstampingers, like that's what it was,
<v Speaker 2>literally the tip.
<v Speaker 3>She was just like, so, yeah, that's the last thing
<v Speaker 3>I'm gonna say about that.
<v Speaker 1>No, you're okay. Also, the little sister is named Henrietta,
<v Speaker 1>but they call her h.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah because Jesus age Christ. Didn't she make a
<v Speaker 2>joke about that. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>She seems to be very like, I guess, mature for
<v Speaker 1>her age. That's how they portray her. She's like a
<v Speaker 1>little mini like I mean, obviously, yeah, she's a person,
<v Speaker 1>but they're just like, oh, she's like super smart, she's
<v Speaker 1>super It's also.
<v Speaker 2>Because she was a very late in life baby, like
<v Speaker 2>the parents are parents are older, yeah, and then the
<v Speaker 2>sister is way older.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, mature. My god. I hated that. I
<v Speaker 1>hated when people be like, oh my god, you're just
<v Speaker 1>like an Oh my god, I'm gonna say that you're
<v Speaker 1>so mature. I'm like, am I mature? Or should I
<v Speaker 1>just have not been here? Guys? I think actually I'm
<v Speaker 1>like it was a little too. I didn't at first.
<v Speaker 1>When I watched I was just like, Oh, that's like
<v Speaker 1>Rachel's cousin, but they're like, no, that's her little sister.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, wow, that's why they made the
<v Speaker 2>joke of like, oh, they call me h because my
<v Speaker 2>mom said Jesus H Christ when she found out she
<v Speaker 2>was pregnant with me because she's like so old. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>my mom was my mom. I would thought you were
<v Speaker 2>gonna okay, No, my mom was twenty one when I
<v Speaker 2>was born. That has nothing to do with anything. She
<v Speaker 2>was not older. But no, when we were watching it,
<v Speaker 2>my wife was like, what, that's she's her daughter, that's
<v Speaker 2>the mom, And I was like, yes, they made a
<v Speaker 2>point of like making like a joke about it, like
<v Speaker 2>she was like a very late in life pregnancy, like
<v Speaker 2>a surprise or whatever, because Piper Piper hyper Rachel.
<v Speaker 1>Rachel was already like probably like almost grown like her sister.
<v Speaker 1>Rachel was okay because Coop said he's like thirty, so
<v Speaker 1>Heck is probably around the same age and so is Rachel. Right, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and the girl the mom is probably like I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if it looks kind of forties. I mean she does,
<v Speaker 1>but she's also white.
<v Speaker 2>I know, we aged like sananas or like milk.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 3>It's like it's so sad.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, how do Oh yeah, the Talent Show. That's
<v Speaker 1>why we got into Yes. So fast forward, Rachel is
<v Speaker 1>at work and she's asking her friends if they believe
<v Speaker 1>in love at first sight and they say no, and
<v Speaker 1>she's like, yeah, I agree, I don't really believe in that,
<v Speaker 1>but she is kind of starting to believe in that
<v Speaker 1>because she's thinking about loose Yeah, And so she goes
<v Speaker 1>to a video store and this is like probably my favorite,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, that's so funny. She goes to a
<v Speaker 1>video store and she's like renty movies. But then as
<v Speaker 1>she's checking out, she sees like the adult section. She's like,
<v Speaker 1>she goes over and she grabs a lesbian poor no yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And the interaction is so funny because the clerk is
<v Speaker 1>looking at it and she's just like oh, and she's
<v Speaker 1>like it's just for research, like just for research, and
<v Speaker 1>she's like yeah, but.
<v Speaker 2>She's like over explaining it, like we know you don't
<v Speaker 2>want to watch the video, you don't.
<v Speaker 3>Like, you don't have to make an excuse for it
<v Speaker 3>for research.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, no, it's for research. But then she finds
<v Speaker 1>out that the someone didn't return it, so it's in
<v Speaker 1>the back and the clerk is like, no, let me
<v Speaker 1>make a call and she's like no, no, no, it's okay,
<v Speaker 1>like just put it back, and the clerk is like no,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna yeah. She's like no, trust me, you want
<v Speaker 1>to see this one. She like rinks out.
<v Speaker 2>She's like she's.
<v Speaker 1>Like and then her mom walks in.
<v Speaker 2>Of all of the times, first walk in the only
<v Speaker 2>time she's probably ever rented porn because she's so awkward.
<v Speaker 3>And then her mom walks in.
<v Speaker 1>And she's like, oh my god, and so she tries
<v Speaker 1>to hide her little video and the clerk is just like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>a customer wants and she says, like Bush something.
<v Speaker 3>It's like Georgie's.
<v Speaker 2>Bush and it's like an American beamed lesbian thing.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, it's like when George W.
<v Speaker 2>Bush was President's so weird.
<v Speaker 1>And the mom is like not listening because she sees
<v Speaker 1>like a cardboard cutout and she's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>this guy's like really attractive. And then Rachel was like,
<v Speaker 1>oh explaining, she's like, oh, heck is like really into
<v Speaker 1>history right now. So that's why I'm renting. Like, the
<v Speaker 1>mom didn't even like listen. She was just looking at
<v Speaker 1>the sexy cardboard cutout. Man. Yeah, She's like, I don't care. Also,
<v Speaker 1>throughout the entire movie, her and her husband, Rachel's mom
<v Speaker 1>and dad, they like her kind of at odds because
<v Speaker 1>the mom is like, not like the husband, because I
<v Speaker 1>think the dad's kind of funny. He just seems like
<v Speaker 1>a funny guy. But the mom's just like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>he's so silly.
<v Speaker 3>She had to grow to love him.
<v Speaker 4>She that she's probably a lesbian too, probably, Yeah, So
<v Speaker 4>she gets her she gets her videos, and she goes
<v Speaker 4>home and she's like watching it and you can like
<v Speaker 4>hear the sounds, but she's just like really like looking
<v Speaker 4>at the TV.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, she's like, really it really is to research.
<v Speaker 1>What are they doing?
<v Speaker 3>How do they do it?
<v Speaker 2>Is this scissoring?
<v Speaker 1>She's like, what the fuck? And so then Heck arrives
<v Speaker 1>and she like turns it off and she's like flustered,
<v Speaker 1>and he's just like, oh, hey, what are you doing?
<v Speaker 1>And then she's like nothing, just I rented some movies.
<v Speaker 1>And then he goes to see the movie and she
<v Speaker 1>acts like they must have gave her the wrong movie
<v Speaker 1>because he's like, what is it? He's like, oh, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh, well do you I mean you already
<v Speaker 1>have it? Do you want to watch it? And she's
<v Speaker 1>like no, and he's like, well why not. And she's
<v Speaker 1>like because she doesn't turn me on, I'm gonna go
<v Speaker 1>return it. And then he's like, well that makes one
<v Speaker 1>of us.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, he's like, I want to watch She was like
<v Speaker 3>I want to.
<v Speaker 1>Watch it, and so obviously her recent which was interrupted. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And so now they are at a little like fireworks
<v Speaker 1>show at the park and Heck is asking Ned, which
<v Speaker 1>is Rachel's father, how things were when he got married.
<v Speaker 1>So he's like basically asking her father for advice on
<v Speaker 1>their marriage because he's like, I don't know, like like
<v Speaker 1>give me advice, and Ned is just like, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>we can talk about sports, we can talk about all
<v Speaker 1>these things, but don't talk to me about my daughter
<v Speaker 1>because all I'm going to think about is like you and.
<v Speaker 2>Her like, well yeah, because the way he was asking, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>like he was asking like after he got married, did
<v Speaker 2>you go through a dry spell?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? He basically was like like was it, Like you know,
<v Speaker 1>he was trying to ask him that, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>why would you ask her dad that?
<v Speaker 3>Like yeah, like that's so weird.
<v Speaker 1>I literally told him like, I don't want to think
<v Speaker 1>about you my daughter having sex. Like we can talk
<v Speaker 1>about sports, we can talk about anything else, but don't
<v Speaker 1>ask me that. Yeah, And then Heck has the nerve
<v Speaker 1>to be like, oh my god, I have to find Rachel.
<v Speaker 1>And so then Rachel's mom is telling her like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, when are we gonna have when you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>give me grandbabies because I like want you to get pregnant,
<v Speaker 1>and Rachel's like, oh my god.
<v Speaker 3>And so then we literally just got married.
<v Speaker 1>Leave me alone and Dado, I know she's Rachel's just
<v Speaker 1>like I cannot believe her. So then she is hugging
<v Speaker 1>and kissing Heck. But then she sees Loose and her mom,
<v Speaker 1>the mom that she wants to get alive.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, I guess I'll just take you with me places.
<v Speaker 1>To Yeah, so she sees her and then she's like,
<v Speaker 1>I just want to go home. So then h runs
<v Speaker 1>into Loose again. They're weird friendship. Yes, she runs into
<v Speaker 1>Loose and it's just like oh my god, hey, and
<v Speaker 1>she starts talking to her and she is like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you can have a boyfriend if you want, and she's
<v Speaker 1>just like, oh, well, I mean I could, but like
<v Speaker 1>i'd want, like, you know, the person I'm gonna be
<v Speaker 1>with to be a woman, and like I'm gay, and
<v Speaker 1>h doesn't kind of like she kind of gets it,
<v Speaker 1>but then she doesn't because she's just like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>but like you could have a boyfriend, and Lucas just
<v Speaker 1>like this, doesn't.
<v Speaker 2>She say, like it's okay, that doesn't mean you're a
<v Speaker 2>lesbian or any Yeah, like I want to grow up
<v Speaker 2>and live with my best friend and hang out with
<v Speaker 2>her all the time, but it doesn't mean you're a lesbian.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm like, no, no, she is a lesbian. She's
<v Speaker 2>not getting it. But because she's ten, And this is
<v Speaker 2>maybe also part of why it's weird to be thirty
<v Speaker 2>and have a ten year old friend. Yeah, because she's
<v Speaker 2>just with her niece or like somehow like your best
<v Speaker 2>friend's child. But it's so weird to me.
<v Speaker 1>She just met her at a wedding and now they're
<v Speaker 1>best So then we go to Heck and Rachel at
<v Speaker 1>their home and Heck is asking Rachel if she's pregnant,
<v Speaker 1>and she's like no, and he's like, well, do you
<v Speaker 1>want to try for a baby, and she's just like no,
<v Speaker 1>She's like no, I know, leave me alone. She's like,
<v Speaker 1>I might be yaya alone.
<v Speaker 2>I actually might leave you for a woman, So I
<v Speaker 2>definitely don't want to.
<v Speaker 1>Let's not pull a disobedience to get pregnant right.
<v Speaker 3>Before I leave you.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so Rachel calls Loose, but she doesn't say anything.
<v Speaker 1>This is all on the same night, so after that
<v Speaker 1>whole conversation, she's just like, oh my god, let me
<v Speaker 1>call Loose up. But then once Loose answers, she hangs up,
<v Speaker 1>and then of course Louse calls back because she's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>like somebody called me. And then Heck answers and is like, oh, hey,
<v Speaker 1>do you want to escort my wife to this event
<v Speaker 1>because I have work and I can't make it there.
<v Speaker 1>And Rachel's just like, oh my god, stop, what are
<v Speaker 1>you doing? And LIUs is like yeah, sure of course,
<v Speaker 1>like of course I'll take your wife to this event,
<v Speaker 1>and so.
<v Speaker 2>I'll also steal your girl.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, take your wife. So then Rachel's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>you shouldn't have done that because I hardly know her,
<v Speaker 1>and then Heck is like, it'll be fine. So then
<v Speaker 1>they cut to the event and they are at a
<v Speaker 1>soccer game and Lose like Rachel's super into it and
<v Speaker 1>LuSE is just like, oh my god, maybe it's her
<v Speaker 1>first time going to a soccer game. But Rachel is
<v Speaker 1>like screaming things out and she can't really scream properly.
<v Speaker 1>Souse is like, let me show you how to scream properly.
<v Speaker 1>So she gets behind her and she starts like touching
<v Speaker 1>her and she's like, you have to like go right
<v Speaker 1>here from your dietphragm and you have to like like
<v Speaker 1>make your voice echo. And Rachel's just like okay, and
<v Speaker 1>then Loose screams out and it echoes.
<v Speaker 2>Like She's like, it's like number twelve or number something.
<v Speaker 2>You're a winker.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. She's just like yeah, yeah, I'm like the number.
<v Speaker 1>But she says that and it like echoes, so it's
<v Speaker 1>like unrealistically. Loud I said, It's a very intimate moment though,
<v Speaker 1>because Rachel's just like, oh my god, like I love She's.
<v Speaker 2>Like I love having her behind me with her hands
<v Speaker 2>like on her stomach.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah okay, oh yeah yeah you literally yeah, you're a
<v Speaker 1>wanker number nine and it's a number one.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So then after they're done with the game, they're like,
<v Speaker 1>do you have to go? Rachel's like, you know, we
<v Speaker 1>can still hang out. What do you want to do?
<v Speaker 1>And Lose is like I want to dance, and so
<v Speaker 1>she's like, I know what we're going to do. So
<v Speaker 1>they go to the Arcade and they played Dance Dance
<v Speaker 1>Revolution and it's really nice. They're really good at it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>are you ever good at those? No?
<v Speaker 2>I was not good at it, but I did have
<v Speaker 2>like the home version with like the mat and it
<v Speaker 2>was really fun. Yeah, it was so fun. Well, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I've talked. I was always on a weight last Journey
<v Speaker 2>since I was like eight years old or something. So
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh my god, this is like a
<v Speaker 2>way for me to lose weight. I so I can
<v Speaker 2>have my mom to buy me the Dance Dance Revolution.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, I also didn't I.
<v Speaker 1>Wasn't that good, but you had fun. I was so sweaty.
<v Speaker 1>I was like working my ass off.
<v Speaker 2>And then there was a phase like not that long ago,
<v Speaker 2>like maybe five years ago, where my wife and I
<v Speaker 2>got really into just dance. Oh my god, I love
<v Speaker 2>just and it is also really fun but also made
<v Speaker 2>me so sweaty because.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's really hard. One where at the you know
<v Speaker 1>the famous one rest yes you like my sister and
<v Speaker 1>I did that one. I literally was like I can't breeze,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, but it's so fun.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, they were both good at dancing.
<v Speaker 1>They were they were like they were they really were cute.
<v Speaker 2>It also reminded me of San Junipero because at one
<v Speaker 2>point they went to the two thousands I think when
<v Speaker 2>they were in the two thousands, they were doing the
<v Speaker 2>dance Dance Revolution.
<v Speaker 1>And I forgot the other girl. Yeah, she was like
<v Speaker 1>dancing and she they found her there. Yeah, so yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that did remind me of that as well, when they
<v Speaker 1>were dancing, so they had their fun.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry, so many things in this reminded us of other movies.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, maybe it's like that trope.
<v Speaker 2>Like I was also like, it's just because we've done
<v Speaker 2>so many episodes now, like true remember episode three, Season one,
<v Speaker 2>episode three, Yeah, yeah, but each of them are Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>I'm so sorry. So they were doing a dance dance revolution.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, they were very cute. And so then they
<v Speaker 1>finish up with that and on the walk home, they're
<v Speaker 1>talking about flowers and Rachel wants to know what does
<v Speaker 1>what do lilies mean? Because that's her favorite flower, and
<v Speaker 1>Lisa is just like, oh my god, like she's dodging
<v Speaker 1>the question, but basically, lilies mean dare to love me,
<v Speaker 1>and so Rachel's just like, oh my god, dare to
<v Speaker 1>love you? Yeah, and this is just like yeah anyways,
<v Speaker 1>so she's like like they I feel like they thought
<v Speaker 1>it was a big deal.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and they made it like a big deal.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And Louise also mentions that it's her birthday that day,
<v Speaker 1>and I was just like, what the fuck? Why didn't
<v Speaker 1>you tell me anything? And she's like, oh, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like it's okay, Like I had the best birthday ever.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know what her sign is.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what time. Maybe this is supposed to be,
<v Speaker 1>but it looks like winter, but it's also yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe she's an Aquarius, you think loss well be I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, because I'm an Aquarius and I'm all about
<v Speaker 2>my birthday and so but I don't know if that's
<v Speaker 2>because of my Leo rising and Leo moonness.
<v Speaker 3>We have to I was just like, why is.
<v Speaker 2>She not having like plans months before, Like it's my birthday. Also,
<v Speaker 2>I wouldn't be able to shut up. I just love
<v Speaker 2>to talk about my birthday.
<v Speaker 1>It's my birthday. Yeah, thank you God.
<v Speaker 2>It's gonna be my birthday soon. I mean it's kind
<v Speaker 2>of soon. Yours is way sooner. Well by the time
<v Speaker 2>this comes out, mine will be soon because yours will. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>your birthday is in a few days from when we're
<v Speaker 2>filming this. That is true, Okay. Anyhow, I was just
<v Speaker 2>curious because I was like, what kind of person is Like, Oh, she.
<v Speaker 1>Must not be in Aquarius, then she must be or
<v Speaker 1>maybe I don't know. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know because Capricorns are so like serious about
<v Speaker 2>business and she owns her business. Maybe she's like so
<v Speaker 2>focused on work. But also I wonder what her venus
<v Speaker 2>is in because she's very like so like she believes
<v Speaker 2>per se. Yeah, I don't know. It's interesting. She's not
<v Speaker 2>a real person. She's a character, and we're like we
<v Speaker 2>need to know her.
<v Speaker 1>She's so quirky though she's not like other lesbians, even
<v Speaker 1>though she is like a bit lesson.
<v Speaker 2>So maybe she isn't because we're very much like I'm different.
<v Speaker 1>And she's so different that she didn't want people to
<v Speaker 1>know it's her birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Ye yeah, okay, she.
<v Speaker 1>Mentions it's her birthday and Rachel's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>why didn't you tell me? But they get to Rachel's
<v Speaker 1>house and literally Rachel like leans in to kiss Loose,
<v Speaker 1>but then stops because she's like, oh my god, there's
<v Speaker 1>like a train passing by in like the light, and
<v Speaker 1>it like kind of like makes her stop, and she's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, okay, bye. She goes in and she
<v Speaker 1>like lays down next to Heck and he's like cuddling her,
<v Speaker 1>and she's just like They're thinking, like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck was I about to do? I was
<v Speaker 1>almost gonna kiss her, and so I said, oh yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then Rachel the next day asked her friend if
<v Speaker 1>she's ever fancied a woman before, and her coworker is like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I did, but it just wasn't for me, like I
<v Speaker 1>preferred men. And Rachel's just like, oh okay, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>like all these like why have none of her friends
<v Speaker 1>asked her like do you are you in love with
<v Speaker 1>a woman? Like are you falling for a woman?
<v Speaker 3>Like why are you asking this question.
<v Speaker 1>She's asking so many questions about it, but they're just
<v Speaker 1>like whatever, she's just weird. I don't know, like she's
<v Speaker 1>just asking things, just curious curios curios curiosity. So then
<v Speaker 1>Heck and Rachel go to dinner and then after they're
<v Speaker 1>driving home and things are like a little tents in
<v Speaker 1>the car because you can tell like something's off, like
<v Speaker 1>they're just like not talking. But then Rachel is like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, let's have sex in those bushes over there,
<v Speaker 1>and Heck is like, no, Oh, can't we just go?
<v Speaker 1>He's like, we have a bed, like, we have a place,
<v Speaker 1>and I can't. I forgot to mention when she was
<v Speaker 1>in the bathroom asking her friend if she ever fancied
<v Speaker 1>a woman before and realized that maybe you didn't or
<v Speaker 1>you did, and her friend was like, yeah, but it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't for me. And she's like, why why do you
<v Speaker 1>ask And she's like, oh, no, nothing. She's like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna take Heck out to dinner to so she's like
<v Speaker 1>wanting to like try, but also I feel like she
<v Speaker 1>is like, Okay, now something's something's wrong here. So her
<v Speaker 1>idea is to have sex in the bushes.
<v Speaker 2>She thinks I think that they just need to like
<v Speaker 2>spice things up. Yeah, Like she's thinking maybe that's why
<v Speaker 2>she's feeling this way, because she needs.
<v Speaker 1>Romantic encounter. And he's like no, but she's driving. So
<v Speaker 1>she stops the car and he's like, oh my god, Rachel,
<v Speaker 1>and he's like looking for her in the woods. It's
<v Speaker 1>dark as fuck, and she's like hiding and then she
<v Speaker 1>like scares him and he's like oh my god, and
<v Speaker 1>she's like, come on, like, let's do it here, and
<v Speaker 1>then she says something about the tree where like they've
<v Speaker 1>had sex before, like and he's had her like up
<v Speaker 1>on a tree, and he's like that must have been
<v Speaker 1>somebody else that wasn't me. But they kind of like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, like they kind of like go right
<v Speaker 1>past it. And he's just like okay, well, anyways, you
<v Speaker 1>really want to do this. She's like, yeah, let's do it.
<v Speaker 1>So they're undressing and they hear somebody behind a tree
<v Speaker 1>and are like come out right now. But Rachel's like
<v Speaker 1>come out right now, and Heck is like yeah, come
<v Speaker 1>out yeah, and it's a gay couple and they're like sorry,
<v Speaker 1>we didn't want to disturb you, and they're like laughing
<v Speaker 1>they're like, oh my god, we were like gonna come
<v Speaker 1>here to have sex and they're like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>us too, like yeah, us too, and they're like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>well we're married. And then the gay cup was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>well we just met tonight.
<v Speaker 2>Which that's when, you know, I think I've talked about
<v Speaker 2>how when my wife learns a new word, but she
<v Speaker 2>and she loves to use it.
<v Speaker 3>So she learned about cruising.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, gay men especially be like we're going
<v Speaker 2>cruising at the park tonight.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, oh, were they cruising?
<v Speaker 2>They like yeah, they and they're trying to do it
<v Speaker 2>in the woods.
<v Speaker 3>Literally, yeah, scandalous.
<v Speaker 1>So then they're laughing and they're like, oh my god, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's time to go home now, because you know. And
<v Speaker 1>so the next day at the flower shop, Rachel go
<v Speaker 1>over to Loose and she's just like, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>you make me feel something that I cannot feel because
<v Speaker 1>I'm married, and like, basically, whatever this is, it's over,
<v Speaker 1>Like I can't do this anymore. And she's like what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck. And so she they're in the back room
<v Speaker 1>talking about this and then Rachel's just like no, like
<v Speaker 1>this is it. She barely lets Loose talk and so
<v Speaker 1>then she leaves, but then she comes running back and
<v Speaker 1>she kisses Loose and they kiss me make out and
<v Speaker 1>they're like rolling around and Loose gets like lays on
<v Speaker 1>the thorns of the rose.
<v Speaker 2>But you see a lot of the lower back tattoo
<v Speaker 2>and yeah, scene I think because they're wearing low rise
<v Speaker 2>low rise.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they both are, so it's just a lot of back.
<v Speaker 1>It's very right, standalous. And so they're making out and
<v Speaker 1>then they stop and they're like laughing, giggling, and then
<v Speaker 1>Heck arrives and he's like hello, Loose, and then they're like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. So then Lucy's like, don't come back here,
<v Speaker 1>and she goes out to the front and she's like
<v Speaker 1>what do you want, Heck, and he's like to buy flowers, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>for my wife, to buy flowers for Rachel. And she's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>oh yeah, okay, of course, Like you know, what what
<v Speaker 1>kind do you want? He's like, well you should know, right,
<v Speaker 1>and he's like, Lily, they're her favorite. And so then
<v Speaker 1>he tells her like, has Rachel said anything about him
<v Speaker 1>to her? Because he thinks that she's acting weird and
<v Speaker 1>maybe it's something that he's doing and he wants to
<v Speaker 1>know to either like change his behavior or you know,
<v Speaker 1>like if he's doing something to hurt her. And Luce
<v Speaker 1>looks very torn up about it because she's like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, like yours you know, no, she hasn't mentioned anything,
<v Speaker 1>but also I just kissed your wife. Yeah, this is
<v Speaker 1>she's in the back, She's literally in the back. And
<v Speaker 1>then she's just like no. And then he's like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry for like dumping all this on you and
<v Speaker 1>you know, and she's like here, these are in the house.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have to pay anything for it. And so
<v Speaker 1>then she goes to the back and Rachel's gone, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how she she got out through the window,
<v Speaker 1>I think, but that window was like literally this big wow.
<v Speaker 2>Oh and it pays to be really scared.
<v Speaker 1>She slid right out the window. Yeah, and LuSE goes off.
<v Speaker 1>She chases after her, and she's like hold on, and
<v Speaker 1>Rachel's like, no, I cannot do this. Like you heard
<v Speaker 1>him in there. He thinks that like he's doing something
<v Speaker 1>even though he's not. It's me and so they basically
<v Speaker 1>break up and they're just like Rachel's like, I can't
<v Speaker 1>do this anymore. Yes, like nothing else can happen. She's like,
<v Speaker 1>I can't do this, like I have to stay with him,
<v Speaker 1>and Luce is like, well, don't forget me, and they
<v Speaker 1>hug goodbye. And so Heck is at his job and
<v Speaker 1>his boss, Rob, who's also a douche as well, because
<v Speaker 1>he's literally on Rachel's wedding day, told her like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>like I know you're not a version or something, and
<v Speaker 1>he was She was like, what the fuck.
<v Speaker 2>Are you talking about?
<v Speaker 1>So weird? Yeah, he's like a weirdo. I know I
<v Speaker 1>had to rewind. I'm like, did he say that? I
<v Speaker 1>don't remember that, but then he did. He was just
<v Speaker 1>like if I know something about Heck, it's you're not
<v Speaker 1>a virgin, and she was like huh. And she also
<v Speaker 1>hates him too. Heck also hates his boss and he's like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna quit one day, and that is that day
<v Speaker 1>because he's like, I'm tired of you lying and making
<v Speaker 1>me lie to clients and I just hate this, and
<v Speaker 1>he quits and so he goes home. Meanwhile, Loose is
<v Speaker 1>heartbroken and she's crying to her mom because she says
<v Speaker 1>the girl that she's in love with is in love
<v Speaker 1>with someone else, and so the mom's trying to comfort her,
<v Speaker 1>and then at home, Rachel tries to tell Heck how
<v Speaker 1>she feels and basically like whatever she did is like over.
<v Speaker 1>But he literally gets home and lays on the couch
<v Speaker 1>and he's like falling asleep me, while she's just like,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't mean for it to happen, but like I
<v Speaker 1>went crazy over somebody that was not you, but it's
<v Speaker 1>over now, like I choose you. I want to be
<v Speaker 1>with you. And she turns around and sees that he's
<v Speaker 1>sleeping and she's like no, no, no, like I can't
<v Speaker 1>say this like more than once. Yeah, and she's like okay,
<v Speaker 1>but I just want you to know. Even though he's sleeping,
<v Speaker 1>she's still telling him this, like I love you, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna be with you, and she covers him. So
<v Speaker 1>then she walks away and he like throws the covers
<v Speaker 1>off and he like turns, which obviously he was never asleep,
<v Speaker 1>and he's very upset about this, but he says nothing.
<v Speaker 1>And so then at the shop, Coop comes another reason
<v Speaker 1>to hate him. He confronts her and he's yelling at
<v Speaker 1>her and he's like, you dumb slut. Yeah, I was
<v Speaker 1>like excuse me.
<v Speaker 3>It was like he's a dumb slut.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, he's like you know what. Heck called me
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of the night telling me that Rachel
<v Speaker 1>is in love with somebody else, but he didn't say
<v Speaker 1>who because she didn't say who, but I put two
<v Speaker 1>and two together and it had to be you. And
<v Speaker 1>he's like yelling at her, and Lucy's just like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, whatever, she should have said more to him,
<v Speaker 1>because what the fuck the audacity? Yeah, I know, I
<v Speaker 1>hate him, I know, And so she throws him out
<v Speaker 1>because she's like fuck you. And then Rachel's parents' house,
<v Speaker 1>they're literally singing Happy Birthday to her and Heck is
<v Speaker 1>sitting on the couch and is just like I can't
<v Speaker 1>do this anymore. And he's just like I have to leave,
<v Speaker 1>and she's like what are you talking about? And basically
<v Speaker 1>he's just like I can't deal that you are in
<v Speaker 1>love with somebody else. And her parents are like, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck is he talking about? That you're in love
<v Speaker 1>with somebody else? So he leaves and she chases after
<v Speaker 1>him and she's like, no, like you don't understand, like
<v Speaker 1>I chose you, I want to, like I'm here, like whatever,
<v Speaker 1>it was, it's over, and he's like no, like, I
<v Speaker 1>want you to be happy even though it's not with me,
<v Speaker 1>and I can't stand the thought of you just like
<v Speaker 1>settling for me, because I would feel guilty that I'm
<v Speaker 1>like holding you back from actually being happy. And so
<v Speaker 1>basically he dumps her and he kisses her on the
<v Speaker 1>forehead and he leaves, and so she's just like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god. And she goes back inside and she tells
<v Speaker 1>her parents that she's in love with Luce but it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't matter because it can't happen now, and they're like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. The dad is very nice and gives
<v Speaker 1>like this little speech to her, and the mom's just like,
<v Speaker 1>you're in love with a woman and you're a woman,
<v Speaker 1>and she's like yes, and so the mom is like okay.
<v Speaker 1>She's like trying to wrap her head around it. But
<v Speaker 1>the dad's speech is really nice and it inspires Rachel
<v Speaker 1>to go after Louse and h which is so weird
<v Speaker 1>again too, now that I really think about it. She
<v Speaker 1>got a call because she asked Luce if she could
<v Speaker 1>take her on like a playdate whatever, and LuSE is like, no,
<v Speaker 1>I'm going on a holiday for a while. So h
<v Speaker 1>is the one who knows that Louse is not there
<v Speaker 1>and she's getting gone, and so Rachel's like, okay, I
<v Speaker 1>have to go after her, and so the parents drive
<v Speaker 1>her to go see Loose and she stops at the
<v Speaker 1>flower shop and the mom, Lucy's mom is taking over
<v Speaker 1>for her while she's gone, and she's like, is Louse here?
<v Speaker 1>And she's like, so you're the girl. She's like, yes,
<v Speaker 1>I am. She's like, but you have a husband, and
<v Speaker 1>she's like no, actually I don't, and I'm available and
<v Speaker 1>I love your daughter. And so the mom also gets
<v Speaker 1>in the car with them and they're chasing after Louise
<v Speaker 1>to go find her, and Rachel calls Loose and Lucy's like, no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to do this. I can't talk to you,
<v Speaker 1>but she hears like singing this guy singing, Oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>what is that song?
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember what, but he's singing like a romantic song.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And so then Loo sings up on Rachel and
<v Speaker 1>Rachel's just like, oh my god, because they're stuck in traffic,
<v Speaker 1>both of them are second traffic. But she's like, I
<v Speaker 1>recognize that singing. So she gets out of the car
<v Speaker 1>and she stands on top of it, and she's like Louise,
<v Speaker 1>She's like yelling for her, and then she uses the
<v Speaker 1>technique that Luise taught her to scream and shouts out,
<v Speaker 1>you're a wanker number nine and then Louse is like
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck? She gets out and she Loose also
<v Speaker 1>is standing on top of the car, and she's like
<v Speaker 1>I can do this, Like I can do it. So
<v Speaker 1>then they run to each other and they kiss, which
<v Speaker 1>is like they're not that far away, which makes me laugh.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know how Louse didn't hear her, but like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, you know what I mean. So they kiss,
<v Speaker 1>and but before that, she had told her dad like
<v Speaker 1>I knew within three seconds of seeing that I was
<v Speaker 1>in love with her. So she did believe in love
<v Speaker 1>at for site.
<v Speaker 2>That's why she was so aggressive against it, because she
<v Speaker 2>was trying to fight like her own whoa her own.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and so yeah, so they kiss and it's very
<v Speaker 1>romantic and I'm like, oh, how cute. And then it
<v Speaker 1>shows h meeting Heck at their place because they left
<v Speaker 1>the daughter there and the mom is like, we'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about all this if you want when we get back,
<v Speaker 1>but we're gonna help your your sister, fine, her true love,
<v Speaker 1>and Heck is like distraught. He's like sobbing, and he's
<v Speaker 1>like confiding in age, which is also weird, and I
<v Speaker 1>think they just think she's mature for her age. And
<v Speaker 1>she's giving him advice and she's like, it's okay, you'll
<v Speaker 1>be happy, and then he says this weird thing or
<v Speaker 1>h says it too where she's just like or he
<v Speaker 1>says like I should have married you in ten years
<v Speaker 1>or something, and she's like, so week or ten and
<v Speaker 1>then she's like, well in ten years or whatever. It
<v Speaker 1>was like weird. I mean, I guess it was meant
<v Speaker 1>to be live hearted, but also it's weird. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>why would you say that?
<v Speaker 2>It is weird because there are a lot of men
<v Speaker 2>that do date girls that they met when they were
<v Speaker 2>like ten, and they're like, well, she's eighteen now. My
<v Speaker 2>dad is like that he talked about some girl that
<v Speaker 2>he knew when she was a kid, and then now
<v Speaker 2>he is trying to date her as like a nineteen
<v Speaker 2>year old, and I'm like, that's disgusting. I like that.
<v Speaker 2>Apparently people think it's okay, especially in two thousand and six.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, especially in two thousand and six. They thought it
<v Speaker 1>was okay. Yeah, but he's like sobbing to her, telling
<v Speaker 1>her the story and saying those weird things, and so
<v Speaker 1>she comforts him and she's like it's okay, it'll be okay.
<v Speaker 1>And so on a plane, Heck meets a woman and
<v Speaker 1>he's like writing a book and the woman's very clearly
<v Speaker 1>interested in him, and then he's like, oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>And then Coop is shown holding a baby, So.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, what the fuck was that?
<v Speaker 2>I guess he really holds down and he had about
<v Speaker 2>someone pregnant, but he's not like a he's like holding
<v Speaker 2>the baby.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you'd be a shitty father. Honestly, you're a shitty person.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe he'll change. It also makes you think of that
<v Speaker 2>thing how people are like, once you have a daughter,
<v Speaker 2>you'll you'll be a better man because you'll understand. It's like,
<v Speaker 2>why should you have to have a daughter to to be.
<v Speaker 1>A better person.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but that was kind of what it's giving.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if that was because he's like a playboy, right, yeah, stupid.
<v Speaker 1>So Heck gets to meet that woman and then Coop
<v Speaker 1>is has a mysterious baby, and then Rachel and Moose
<v Speaker 1>are happy they're sitting on a bench. So everyone gets
<v Speaker 1>a happy ending, even though I only really care about
<v Speaker 1>Rachel Moose and that is the end.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, yes, So I think a reason that so many
<v Speaker 2>people like this movie is because it's relatively rare, especially
<v Speaker 2>in the early two thousands, for there to be a
<v Speaker 2>lesbian couple that stay together. Like often it's like Lost
<v Speaker 2>and Delirious where somebody he dies you know, does yes,
<v Speaker 2>or it's something where like you know, they they have
<v Speaker 2>an affair and then they both go back to their
<v Speaker 2>husbands or something like that. So it is really good
<v Speaker 2>that they got to be together. So it is a
<v Speaker 2>happy ending. Okay, So it's time for lunch merch murder.
<v Speaker 2>So the options are loose Rachel and Edie, the friend
<v Speaker 2>from the grocery store.
<v Speaker 1>I know that I almost forgot it. Yeah, I was like,
<v Speaker 1>what's her name? What's her name? Do you know yours? Well?
<v Speaker 3>You know what? Okay?
<v Speaker 2>So I feel like I felt like I was kind
<v Speaker 2>of attracted to Edie. That's why I put her on here.
<v Speaker 2>There weren't that many other female characters.
<v Speaker 1>I know. I was like the mom, the moms, we
<v Speaker 1>could have put the moms.
<v Speaker 3>That's true.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I'm I'm not one of those lesbians
<v Speaker 2>that is really act to older women. Also, I'm now
<v Speaker 2>like a middle aged woman, so I'm like, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know how much I'm not Sarah Paulson.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I'm not like, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Some people are, Like I've said, my wife is very
<v Speaker 2>attracted to people that are older.
<v Speaker 3>I'm attracted to people in my own.
<v Speaker 1>Age or like that is rare. Yeah, I like that.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, point being, I thought that Edie was kind
<v Speaker 2>of cute, and so I think that this makes it
<v Speaker 2>a little hard because I don't want to kill one
<v Speaker 2>of the main characters for someone. But I also I
<v Speaker 2>don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like I don't like Rachel that much.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, Okay, wait, okay, I guess, I guess. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>I think that I would probably merge with Loose. I
<v Speaker 2>would munch Edie, and I would murder Rachel. She's just
<v Speaker 2>really not my type. And Eadie had like kind of
<v Speaker 2>a kind of a slightly uh.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, okayn to her, more like yeah, she's
<v Speaker 1>going o the Yeah, okay, okay, I would merge with
<v Speaker 1>Loose as well. I would munch Rachel and murder Edie.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I understand. Yeah, what would you rate this movie?
<v Speaker 1>I really liked it, but it's not one of my favorites,
<v Speaker 1>but I did like it, so four to five cherries?
<v Speaker 3>Oh my god?
<v Speaker 1>Same, Yeah, I couldn't give it a five.
<v Speaker 3>I I do like it.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's cute and I like that it was
<v Speaker 2>kind of like a silly, stereotypical, like rom com type
<v Speaker 2>of thing with the whole like traffic and like the
<v Speaker 2>yell like it was silly.
<v Speaker 3>But also I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Know, I'm just not I'm not as into it as
<v Speaker 2>I would be to give it a five.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so I give it a four.
<v Speaker 3>Agreed, Yes, Okay.
<v Speaker 2>So we're going to take another break and then we'll
<v Speaker 2>come back for our Dear Dike segment. So if you're
<v Speaker 2>enjoying but I'm a lesbian, please head over to our Instagram,
<v Speaker 2>TikTok or Facebook and follow it to stay up to
<v Speaker 2>date on our newest episodes and hottest takes. I'll see
<v Speaker 2>you in a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Welcome back. Today. We are going to offer some advice
<v Speaker 1>to to listeners that wrote in for our Dear Dike segment.
<v Speaker 5>Dear Dice, I need some bus, Dear di same help
<v Speaker 5>me please deune dugs, I need some bus doom dis.
<v Speaker 1>Game, Dear Dikes.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, okay, this is really exciting.
<v Speaker 2>Also, we are silly and we found out from our
<v Speaker 2>producer on the break what the song was, and it's
<v Speaker 2>literally hit me together.
<v Speaker 3>Yes it goes.
<v Speaker 2>Imagine me and you.
<v Speaker 1>You know, sometimes we don't connect the dots, and that's
<v Speaker 1>why we have our producer to fact check. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>very much needed. Otherwise Kitle and I would just be
<v Speaker 1>saying things.
<v Speaker 2>Yes. Also, to be fair, when the guy is singing
<v Speaker 2>it on the bike, it sounds very different than the
<v Speaker 2>actual songs, and he don't play the song in the credits,
<v Speaker 2>and I remember they played the song in the credits,
<v Speaker 2>but I didn't realize that it was the safe song
<v Speaker 2>that gout.
<v Speaker 1>Like yeah, imagine that. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So I had to say it because people are probably
<v Speaker 2>like yelling at their.
<v Speaker 3>Phone like oh my god, literally this and we're like.
<v Speaker 1>Oh no, don't blame us because the guy was off key,
<v Speaker 1>so neither of us remembered.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, it was all pitch you for me.
<v Speaker 1>AnyWho.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, So, dear Dike, So this is exciting because we
<v Speaker 2>have gotten a lot of people writing in so we're
<v Speaker 2>so excited, so we chose to for today.
<v Speaker 3>So here is the first one. This is from anonymous.
<v Speaker 2>They said, I broke up with my girlfriend in a
<v Speaker 2>not very mature way, with no warning or anything. But
<v Speaker 2>I also didn't want to stay in a relationship I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't be fully in anymore. It was wrong and I
<v Speaker 2>feel bad, but I just knew it was not going
<v Speaker 2>to be right for me long term. I don't think
<v Speaker 2>she'll ever forgive me or understand. So do you have
<v Speaker 2>any any thoughts on this?
<v Speaker 1>I feel like we need a lot more context, but
<v Speaker 1>I understand why the person wants to be anonymous. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to necessarily like group them, but it sounds
<v Speaker 1>like they themselves maybe are young, and you know that's
<v Speaker 1>just like they can acknowledge that it wasn't very mature.
<v Speaker 1>But I could be wrong. I don't know. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like this person just really wanted to get it off
<v Speaker 1>their chest. Yeah, and like I guess, you know, at
<v Speaker 1>least tell somebody like what what would they expect out
<v Speaker 1>of this? I feel like maybe moving forward in other relationships,
<v Speaker 1>like learn from this and not repeat the same mistakes.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you can't go back because even you think
<v Speaker 1>like she won't forgive you or understand.
<v Speaker 2>You can't go back.
<v Speaker 1>And rebreak up with this person and fix that, but
<v Speaker 1>you can change your actions moving forward. That's that's my advice.
<v Speaker 2>No, And sometimes it's hard because I noticed that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>they say at the end, I don't think she'll ever
<v Speaker 2>forgive me or understand, And it can be it can
<v Speaker 2>be hard, especially as lesbians. You hear people always being like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>I'm friends with my exes. Yeah, we're not all friends
<v Speaker 2>with our exes, but you know some people are. But
<v Speaker 2>it's it's kind of hard. But you have to be
<v Speaker 2>okay with them not ever forgiving you or being in
<v Speaker 2>your life like they don't have to be. And I
<v Speaker 2>think that's something that's really hard to come to terms with,
<v Speaker 2>especially like if you knew them for a while, like
<v Speaker 2>even if you weren't dating for a long time, if
<v Speaker 2>they were in your life and you just like hope
<v Speaker 2>that they don't hate you forever. But you know, first
<v Speaker 2>of all, time heals all wounds, so they probably won't
<v Speaker 2>hate you forever. They just might be like over it
<v Speaker 2>and not want to have any sort of relationship at
<v Speaker 2>some point.
<v Speaker 3>But I think that.
<v Speaker 2>It's just it's hard because I think of a lot
<v Speaker 2>of the things that you always hear people feeling sorry,
<v Speaker 2>you know for the person that gets dumped, because it
<v Speaker 2>sucks to get dumped, But it also sucks to have
<v Speaker 2>to dump someone because you have to be the bad guy.
<v Speaker 2>Like even if you try to be nice and you
<v Speaker 2>do it in a more mature way, it's still gonna suck.
<v Speaker 3>For the person that gets dumped.
<v Speaker 1>It does suck. But I think again, like, right, there's
<v Speaker 1>a way to do things that this person didn't. And
<v Speaker 1>I feel like some advice from our producer is it's
<v Speaker 1>still worth apologizing even if they don't forgive you, which
<v Speaker 1>I agree with, yeah, because you know you can't change it.
<v Speaker 1>But I mean, I think they would at least appreciate
<v Speaker 1>an apology.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, if they don't have you blocked and you can
<v Speaker 2>contact them in some way without like breaking the boundaries
<v Speaker 2>that they've set, it can't hurt to apologize. But something
<v Speaker 2>that is important to note is that they don't have
<v Speaker 2>to forgive you.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, right, and you have to be okay with that.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, And yeah, that can be hard, and there could
<v Speaker 2>be a time like it could be something where in
<v Speaker 2>the future in years they are over it. But it
<v Speaker 2>could also not be that, you know, Like, it's just hard.
<v Speaker 2>I think that is the struggle with relationships. But eventually
<v Speaker 2>they will probably be glad, right because if you weren't
<v Speaker 2>right for each other, they will hopefully find either a
<v Speaker 2>person that they are better fit for, or they will
<v Speaker 2>find other things in their life that they enjoy without
<v Speaker 2>a relationship, and they're okay with it, you know. So yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's hard, but try not to beat yourself up too much.
<v Speaker 2>People do make mistakes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, exactly, We're not wrong.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, like I said, I made really bad mistakes.
<v Speaker 2>I broke up with my wife at some point and
<v Speaker 2>she's the best person I've ever met, and that was
<v Speaker 2>stupid and I feel bad about it still.
<v Speaker 3>All the time, which is like so sad.
<v Speaker 1>It's like years and years later and I'm like, I
<v Speaker 1>can't believe I did that. Was like, why did I
<v Speaker 1>do that? Stupid?
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, it'll be okay, Anonymous.
<v Speaker 1>It will just definitely reflect on your actions and let's
<v Speaker 1>do better, Okay, what Yeah do the shadow work. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know it's hard, but that's how you grow. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>become a better person for real. So we have another
<v Speaker 1>person that wrote in they did share their name. Their
<v Speaker 1>name is Nicole. They said, I feel like I fall
<v Speaker 1>in love with a knew woman like every three to
<v Speaker 1>four days, seriously, and then we talk for a few
<v Speaker 1>days and I lose interest. I know that makes me
<v Speaker 1>an evil lesbian. Do you guys think I can get
<v Speaker 1>over the evil lesbian phase? Or is this like a
<v Speaker 1>permanent thing?
<v Speaker 3>Okay?
<v Speaker 2>Is this person in aquarius? Because this is like my
<v Speaker 2>life before my wife. I just yeah, okay and a
<v Speaker 2>sad both known for being like I like to be free.
<v Speaker 3>Let's do this.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah along the way. I think we've learned things.
<v Speaker 2>But you know what, it is hard, and I think
<v Speaker 2>here's the thing. You might get over it, and it
<v Speaker 2>might take a specific person or it might just take maturing.
<v Speaker 2>But also maybe that's just maybe you're like a poly
<v Speaker 2>person and you don't know. Maybe like I get it
<v Speaker 2>that you're like I lose interest after a few days.
<v Speaker 2>So that's hard because you couldn't like maintain multiple poly relationships.
<v Speaker 2>But maybe it takes like a specific type of person
<v Speaker 2>that will hold your interest, Like maybe these people just
<v Speaker 2>haven't been the right person. Yeah, so I understand. I
<v Speaker 2>also used to.
<v Speaker 1>I can get it. We're just really excited about this topic, like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, I was evil lesbian.
<v Speaker 3>No, I'm just also curious.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if this person is straight or by
<v Speaker 2>or yeah, no they're lesbian because they said on every face.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, I don't know. I do.
<v Speaker 2>I would always like, I don't know if the losing
<v Speaker 2>interest is as extreme as this, but I would always
<v Speaker 2>like whenever I had a crush on someone when I
<v Speaker 2>was younger, I would like, not just lose interest, but
<v Speaker 2>I would like, get the eck. And it's not even
<v Speaker 2>something they specifically did. I would just have a flash
<v Speaker 2>in my mind of them like sitting on the toilet like.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like, eh, you're like.
<v Speaker 1>I hate them now.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, and then like I couldn't like
<v Speaker 2>be attracted to them, oh my god. But I think
<v Speaker 2>a lot of that is because maybe they weren't the
<v Speaker 2>right person, because like I have seen, I've walked by
<v Speaker 2>when my wife has the door open, she's on the toilet,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm not like, I am not attracted to you
<v Speaker 2>anymore right over? Yeah, So it just, yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 2>think that this will be a permanent thing.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's just that it might be a specific
<v Speaker 2>person or people that will keep your interest.
<v Speaker 1>I agree. I feel like it also has to do
<v Speaker 1>with attachment styles because it sounds like you fall like
<v Speaker 1>very very fast and then as soon as maybe and
<v Speaker 1>I'm just guessing here, they like you said, you lose interest.
<v Speaker 1>But maybe it's when they start reciprocating and they're showing
<v Speaker 1>you like the same level that you're like, no, I
<v Speaker 1>don't want it, you know. And I feel like that
<v Speaker 1>definitely has a lot to do with maybe like past relationships,
<v Speaker 1>whether it's like family, friends, whatever, those really do shape
<v Speaker 1>how you are in a romantic relationship. So maybe look
<v Speaker 1>inwards with that. And I, like Kitlyn said, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think it will last, or maybe you just need to
<v Speaker 1>do like casual dating and not like jump into like
<v Speaker 1>a relationship or have those expectations of like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>this is the person and then you're like, oops, I
<v Speaker 1>lost interests.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, it can just it can be really difficult.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah that's true. I think. Yeah, like lesbian relationships are
<v Speaker 1>very different obviously than straight relationships. We tend to fall
<v Speaker 1>deep in love and we get like very close, super quickly,
<v Speaker 1>because it's just like it can be intense. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>can see that.
<v Speaker 2>My wife and I I think officially started dating. Oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, I think I told her that I loved
<v Speaker 2>her after only like two weeks, maybe because we started
<v Speaker 2>dating officially.
<v Speaker 1>In March.
<v Speaker 2>And then I remember I went out with my friends
<v Speaker 2>on Saint Patrick's Day because I was wearing green heels.
<v Speaker 2>And then that night we were making out and I
<v Speaker 2>was like, how does that tell you something? But I'm
<v Speaker 2>like scared, Oh my god, like what and I was
<v Speaker 2>like never mind, never mind, And then she's like what
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, I love you all say.
<v Speaker 1>I think she was like, I love you too, my baby,
<v Speaker 1>She's so cute.
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, it is point being, yes, things can happen
<v Speaker 2>really fast with any type of relationship, but yeah, oftentimes lesbians.
<v Speaker 2>But just because you're losing interest doesn't mean that you're evil.
<v Speaker 2>I honestly feel like it's just that those haven't been
<v Speaker 2>the right people.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I think so too. Yeah, I put so much,
<v Speaker 1>you know, pressure on yourself. Yeah, yeah, it could just
<v Speaker 1>be cash. It could It could definitely began because.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I hope that this helped Nicole.
<v Speaker 1>I ran anonymous and anonymous.
