<v Speaker 1>Tonight on Dynamite, we found out what the main event
<v Speaker 1>of AW Dynasty is going to be. We had Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega and Swerve Strickland. We had some actual stakes on
<v Speaker 1>the line here in this match, Swerve Strickland putting his
<v Speaker 1>Number one contendership up for grabs in exchange Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>putting his EVP power on the line. Now what that
<v Speaker 1>even means, we don't know. They never did articulate exactly
<v Speaker 1>what that would entail, but whatever the case may be,
<v Speaker 1>both men put something up in this match, and it
<v Speaker 1>will be Kenny Omega challenging MJF in Vancouver next month
<v Speaker 1>for the AW World Championship. The first time that we
<v Speaker 1>are seeing this match in a good three years or so,
<v Speaker 1>maybe two and a half years. It's been a while.
<v Speaker 1>MJF won the first one, so now we're finally getting
<v Speaker 1>the rematch. Start the match tonight between Swerve and Omega.
<v Speaker 1>The biggest surprise of the fact that they opened the
<v Speaker 1>show with it and didn't close the show with it,
<v Speaker 1>which in in hindsight, they should have done. You could
<v Speaker 1>see why they didn't because they wanted Omega to come
<v Speaker 1>out and confront MJF. So we had a little face
<v Speaker 1>to face. But coming out of this match, now we
<v Speaker 1>have a situation where Kenny Omega is going to get
<v Speaker 1>a championship match in Vancouver. Kenny will be challenging for
<v Speaker 1>the world title in Canada, And as tempting as it
<v Speaker 1>may be to have Kenny Omega finish his story and
<v Speaker 1>put the aw world title on him up North, I
<v Speaker 1>think that would be a mistake. I'm not expecting it
<v Speaker 1>to happen. It's not something I think should happen. I
<v Speaker 1>am looking forward to the match. The match tonight would
<v Speaker 1>Swerve and Omega was excellent. I didn't think it was
<v Speaker 1>as good as their first match a couple of months ago,
<v Speaker 1>easily the highlight of the show. Though. What they did
<v Speaker 1>close the show with was Darby Allen and Rusche no countouts,
<v Speaker 1>which was kind of an odd stipulation, to be honest
<v Speaker 1>with you. I mean, you see what these two guys
<v Speaker 1>were doing to each other out there in that main event,
<v Speaker 1>and it was like no count out. It was no
<v Speaker 1>count out, it was no disqualification. I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why you wouldn't just call it a no holds
<v Speaker 1>barred match, but that's what we got in the main event. Rouche,
<v Speaker 1>a man who has not had a singles match on
<v Speaker 1>this television program in nearly two years. And that was
<v Speaker 1>our main event on Dynamite tonight, which ended with Darby
<v Speaker 1>getting the win, obviously because he's already staked his claim
<v Speaker 1>to wanting a World Championship match. But it ends with
<v Speaker 1>the Kallus family laying out Darby, just beating him up
<v Speaker 1>and laying him out, a very flat ending to the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. We did get another match confirmed though for Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>We now know it will be Will Ospray one on
<v Speaker 1>one with John Moxley. Osprey is gonna get pack in
<v Speaker 1>the ring in Winnipeg next week. They did not say
<v Speaker 1>whether or not this match with him and Moxley at
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view is going to be for the
<v Speaker 1>Continental title. I hope not. I don't see the need
<v Speaker 1>for it. This is obviously a personal issue between these two,
<v Speaker 1>mostly from Osprey's side. It's a grudge match. This has
<v Speaker 1>nothing to do with the Continental Championship. Osprey's got bigger
<v Speaker 1>goals and aspirations for this summer that have nothing to
<v Speaker 1>do with the Continental title. They didn't specify one way
<v Speaker 1>or the other though, whether or not this is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a championship match. Mina got her title match
<v Speaker 1>tonight that was awfully quick. She got a win last week,
<v Speaker 1>the first time I could even remember her getting a
<v Speaker 1>singles win on Dynamite, beat out Marina Shaffir, and tonight
<v Speaker 1>she got a Women's World Championship match with Tekla, which
<v Speaker 1>did not go her way. But if the finish of
<v Speaker 1>the match is any indication and the shenanigans that we saw,
<v Speaker 1>I think it's very likely they will run that back
<v Speaker 1>at the pay per view. I've also got some news
<v Speaker 1>to share about Tecla a little bit later on. But
<v Speaker 1>the Dynasty Cart I think still a long ways to go,
<v Speaker 1>but the Dynasty Cart seems to be shaping up nicely.
<v Speaker 1>I'll say that as far as the show tonight, it
<v Speaker 1>was a decent show. Obviously, the opening segment was the
<v Speaker 1>highlight of the I mean, by far, the highlight of
<v Speaker 1>the entire show. Nothing else even came close. But still, again,
<v Speaker 1>these shows, I mean, these shows of late have especially
<v Speaker 1>last week was not a great Dynamite. This was better
<v Speaker 1>than last week, but these shows are these are not
<v Speaker 1>the same shows we were getting earlier this year. Something's
<v Speaker 1>been off. Still decent, but not what we were getting
<v Speaker 1>a couple of months ago. This is your aw Dynamite review.
<v Speaker 1>It is Wednesday night, March twenty fifth, your final Dynamite
<v Speaker 1>review for the month of March twenty twenty six. I
<v Speaker 1>am the solemn monster. We are last night checked about
<v Speaker 1>fifteen or so subs away from ninety one thousand here
<v Speaker 1>on the channel, so I thank you for that. Please
<v Speaker 1>do hit that subscribe button and the like button here
<v Speaker 1>on this video. Super chats are open, so any that
<v Speaker 1>come in, in addition to the ones that already have,
<v Speaker 1>I will be reading them and answering your questions a
<v Speaker 1>little bit later on here in the stream. So let's
<v Speaker 1>bring out the wheel. And typically on Wednesdays when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to the Dynamite reviews, it's a bit of a
<v Speaker 1>lost cause, but we're going to give it a shot anyway.
<v Speaker 1>We're going to hope for a loan number so that
<v Speaker 1>way we can hit our goal and do be the
<v Speaker 1>booker later though, I do wonder if we will oh Man, well,
<v Speaker 1>five point fifteen, five hundred and fifteen likes. That is
<v Speaker 1>the goal for tonight. It ain't looking good. I'll just
<v Speaker 1>say that it ain't looking good. Yeah, Well, it's better
<v Speaker 1>than last week. Last week was seven hundred. We had
<v Speaker 1>no chance. On a Monday or a Friday, we have
<v Speaker 1>a chance. On a Wednesday, we have no chance. So
<v Speaker 1>five point fifteen at least is a little bit better.
<v Speaker 1>Although at the moment we don't even have that many
<v Speaker 1>in here. People are still filtering in. But we'll see
<v Speaker 1>what happens. Let's just get right into it here. They
<v Speaker 1>opened the show with the real main event of the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight, which was Kenny Omega challenging Swerve Strickland for
<v Speaker 1>Swerve's number one contendership for the aw World Championship, and
<v Speaker 1>also Kenny Omega putting his EVP power on the line.
<v Speaker 1>We got this with limited commercial interruption, which did not
<v Speaker 1>mean commercial free, but it was nice to not have
<v Speaker 1>a bazillion commercials in the middle of the match. So
<v Speaker 1>we had Omega attempting in the first half of this match.
<v Speaker 1>At one point he attempted an avalanche one winged angel
<v Speaker 1>Swerve though slipped out and he had a high high
<v Speaker 1>backsupplex avalanche backsupplex and both men were down. Strickland at
<v Speaker 1>one point grabbed Aubrey Edwards referee as a distraction so
<v Speaker 1>that he could deliver a mule Kick New New New
<v Speaker 1>World Order. Hey Leopoldo with the twenty eight dollar Nick
<v Speaker 1>Wayne's mom superches. That's always nice to have a musical
<v Speaker 1>interlude here in the middle of the stream, says the
<v Speaker 1>first time I heard Edges promo today, I swear I
<v Speaker 1>had to rewind it a couple of times. I really
<v Speaker 1>thought that he said, when you decided to put your
<v Speaker 1>hands on meth a woman who's cookie that you've eaten? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>I think somebody was on meth tonight, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>think it was Adam Copeland. Are you okay, Leopoldo. I
<v Speaker 1>think you may have ingested too much. He was talking
<v Speaker 1>about Beth, and he was talking about her cooking, not
<v Speaker 1>meth and her cookie, although that would be far more interesting.
<v Speaker 1>But thank you, brother. We know what Leopoldo was doing
<v Speaker 1>during Dynamite tonight. Maybe it's what helps him get through Dynamite.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't want to pass judgment, but
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the love. I don't know how I
<v Speaker 1>follow up on that. How do I top that meth
<v Speaker 1>and cookies? It's a good night right there. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>so as I mentioned, Swerve put his hands on Aubrey
<v Speaker 1>edwards to distract her as he mule kicked Kenny Omega,
<v Speaker 1>and then they ended up outside the ring by the barricade,
<v Speaker 1>and they end up on top of the barricade and
<v Speaker 1>Swerve is setting up for something and they both slip
<v Speaker 1>and kind of that will Swerve really slips and falls
<v Speaker 1>off the barricade, but then they get back up on
<v Speaker 1>top of the barricade. All of this to deliver a
<v Speaker 1>pile driver to Kenny Omega on the top part of
<v Speaker 1>the arricade. So then he tried big pressure back inside
<v Speaker 1>no dice house call kick connects into a swerve stomp
<v Speaker 1>close near fall, so Omega wanted a power bomb. Swerve
<v Speaker 1>floated over. He hit a power bomb into a power slam.
<v Speaker 1>Kenny came back with a V trigger and then two
<v Speaker 1>more of them. He wanted the one winged angel. Strickland
<v Speaker 1>slid out. He went for a vertebraker. Omega just rolled
<v Speaker 1>through onto his feet, hit the V trigger to the spine,
<v Speaker 1>and again he tried for the one winged angel. Swerve
<v Speaker 1>reaches down though, and he gouges the eyes and then
<v Speaker 1>he does hit the vertebraker. Omega managed to kick out.
<v Speaker 1>Robert says I want some meth cookies, Well, I don't
<v Speaker 1>have any for you. I don't have any for you.
<v Speaker 1>Some of these shows I would be partaking myself if
<v Speaker 1>they were sitting in front of me, But I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>there are none available right now. But Omega connected with
<v Speaker 1>the v trigger and then finally, after multiple attempts, he
<v Speaker 1>hit the one wing at Angel and he wins the
<v Speaker 1>match and also earns the right to now call himself
<v Speaker 1>number one contender. Swerve put it on the line. He
<v Speaker 1>blew it all. It's like Vegas, baby, you blow on
<v Speaker 1>the dice, roll one roll of the dice and you
<v Speaker 1>could lose everything. And that's what happened tonight for Swerve Strickland.
<v Speaker 1>So Kenny Omega is the new number one contender for
<v Speaker 1>the AW World Championship. Swerve does not have the power.
<v Speaker 1>He man has the power. Swerve Strickland does not have
<v Speaker 1>the power. There will be no EVP power for him.
<v Speaker 1>So now these two men are one win a piece.
<v Speaker 1>I suspect Swerve will not take this loss very well.
<v Speaker 1>Although we didn't see him or hear from him for
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the night. He just sort of vanished
<v Speaker 1>after this. But Tony Kahn just could not resist Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega challenging for the World Championship in Canada in the
<v Speaker 1>main event of his next pay per view. You can
<v Speaker 1>understand why. I mean, it's very tempting. What a place
<v Speaker 1>for Kenny to challenge for the championship, right in front
<v Speaker 1>of that crowd in Vancouver. It's gonna be a great
<v Speaker 1>atmosphere and it's gonna be a great match. I do
<v Speaker 1>feel like there was potential that was kind of squandered
<v Speaker 1>here as far as Swerve playing around with the EVP stuff.
<v Speaker 1>They kind of dangled it out there, but they chose
<v Speaker 1>to go in a different direction. This was an excellent
<v Speaker 1>twenty minute match here to open the show with some
<v Speaker 1>real stakes on the line here. Again, not as good
<v Speaker 1>as their first match that they had a couple months back,
<v Speaker 1>but an excellent bount Nonetheless, nothing else on the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the show could even touch this. Yeah. Ricochet was
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. Later in the show, there was
<v Speaker 1>a backstage promo with him and goa first time we've
<v Speaker 1>seen him since Revolution, and he was just talking about
<v Speaker 1>you know, Jack Perry didn't really beat him, he wasn't pinned,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, it just it was unfair and blah. Blah. Again,
<v Speaker 1>he's very lucky that he is back on television and
<v Speaker 1>working and that they have moved on from this entire situation,
<v Speaker 1>because it was a big black ey, not only for him,
<v Speaker 1>but you know in a way, aw, because that's really
<v Speaker 1>what people were talking about all week, was the reaction
<v Speaker 1>to it, and you know, aw, you know, taking action,
<v Speaker 1>not taking action, It turned into a whole thing. So
<v Speaker 1>you better just put it behind him and not be
<v Speaker 1>stupid again and let something like that happen, because again,
<v Speaker 1>it's very easy to get got and get gotten too
<v Speaker 1>on social media by people, although that's not really what
<v Speaker 1>happened in this case. But obviously it drove him over
<v Speaker 1>the edge, and I'm sure he'll be a little more
<v Speaker 1>careful when it comes to that sort of thing now
<v Speaker 1>going forward. Oh man, but how about but again, how
<v Speaker 1>about that more gunhar than Gunther. Never thought I would be,
<v Speaker 1>especially this close to WrestleMania. I never thought I'd be
<v Speaker 1>saying that we got a Will Osprey promo backstage, saying
<v Speaker 1>that he has an issue with Pack and anyone else
<v Speaker 1>who stands in his way of going after John Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>He issued a challenge to Pack to meet him on
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite next week in Winnipeg. Osprey said Moxley put him
<v Speaker 1>in time out, which is what he says to his kid.
<v Speaker 1>And because of that, he owed Moxley to thank you
<v Speaker 1>because he got to spend time with his son. But
<v Speaker 1>the fear in his son's eyes when he saw what
<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders did to his neck is something that
<v Speaker 1>he will never forget. Osprey doesn't know why they did
<v Speaker 1>what they did to him in front of his countrymen
<v Speaker 1>and his missus and his mum, but he's going to
<v Speaker 1>alter John Moxley's life like he did Osprey's. And he's
<v Speaker 1>pointing to the scar, the incision on his neck, and
<v Speaker 1>he issued the challenge to Moxley for a match at Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>I want you at Dynasty, motherfucker his words. Well, that
<v Speaker 1>led right into John Moxley and the Death Riders coming
<v Speaker 1>out for the next match. And we'll see if we
<v Speaker 1>got our answer to the question, motherfucker. Will he accept
<v Speaker 1>the challenge of Will Osprey was John Moxley making his
<v Speaker 1>way out to the ring with Daniel Garcia and Marina Shaffir.
<v Speaker 1>They had a bald wheeler Yudah in their corner to
<v Speaker 1>take on Top Flight and Zeta Steele. Top Flight got
<v Speaker 1>a spot here on the show tonight because they are
<v Speaker 1>from Minneapolis, and the show tonight was in Minnesota. More specifically,
<v Speaker 1>they were in Saint Paul, but they were in their
<v Speaker 1>home state, and so that's why they were on dynamite
<v Speaker 1>because otherwise, let's be honest here, the only dynamite that
<v Speaker 1>those two would see is if someone threw a stick
<v Speaker 1>of it through their front window. So for one night anyway,
<v Speaker 1>they got to appear on the A show. Dante Martin
<v Speaker 1>was isolated for a little bit. Marina Shaffir tried to
<v Speaker 1>stop him from making a tag, so Dante hit or
<v Speaker 1>the leaping in Zaguri and Zaida made the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>She ran wild on Marina Youda, tripped her up and
<v Speaker 1>Shaffer decked steel, put her on her shoulders. Tagged in
<v Speaker 1>John Moxley, who climbed to the top as if they
<v Speaker 1>were going to do some sort of doomsday device tight
<v Speaker 1>move or maybe do a doomsday device, but Zeida slipped
<v Speaker 1>out shoved Marina into Moxley, which crouched him on the
<v Speaker 1>top rope. Daniel Garcia tagged in. He grabbed Zeta, who
<v Speaker 1>nailed him with a right hand shot. Before tagging in,
<v Speaker 1>Darius Youda was talking shit outside, so Zada flew in
<v Speaker 1>with a suicide dive inside. Garcia sank in a dragon
<v Speaker 1>tamer on Darius. Dante tried to springboard Marina, though swept
<v Speaker 1>the legs out, he crashed and burned. Moxley hit a
<v Speaker 1>curb stomp on Darius while he was trapped in the submission,
<v Speaker 1>and so Garcia lets go of the hold and he
<v Speaker 1>gets the pin to win it for the death Riders.
<v Speaker 1>So when the match was over, Moxley asks for the
<v Speaker 1>microphone and he's going to address will Ospray and what
<v Speaker 1>we just heard before the match that we just saw,
<v Speaker 1>and he says it's not nice, the same mean things
<v Speaker 1>about people on TV or on social media. So Oxley
<v Speaker 1>knows that Osprey is very upset right now, but whatever
<v Speaker 1>issue that he has with him for them, it isn't personal.
<v Speaker 1>But if Osbrey wants a big fat grudge match at Dynasty,
<v Speaker 1>you got it. Until then, don't let your mouth get
<v Speaker 1>you in trouble. A little word of warning there from Moxley.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if there was any other meaning to that,
<v Speaker 1>but those are words to live by. Don't let your
<v Speaker 1>mouth get you in trouble. We saw a lot of
<v Speaker 1>that this week. Again, no mention of whether or not
<v Speaker 1>this is going to be for the Continental title. I
<v Speaker 1>don't believe it has to be. I don't want it
<v Speaker 1>to be. I don't believe it has to be. This
<v Speaker 1>is not about the championship. This is about something deeper
<v Speaker 1>and more personal than that. And the story is right
<v Speaker 1>there for will Osprey because they were very fortunate to
<v Speaker 1>get him back when they did, and the Owen is
<v Speaker 1>still a few months away. All Inn is still a
<v Speaker 1>few months away. They got a lot of tickets to
<v Speaker 1>sell to Wembley Stadium and here you have, you know,
<v Speaker 1>the UK Zone could very well walk in there and
<v Speaker 1>challenge for the AW World Championship. No interest in seeing
<v Speaker 1>him doing anything with the Continental title, which as far
<v Speaker 1>as I'm concerned, as a useless belt anyway. So you
<v Speaker 1>can do Osprey Moxley grudge match and just let him
<v Speaker 1>go in there and kill each other at Dynasty, and
<v Speaker 1>that's honestly all that it has to be. The Moxley
<v Speaker 1>thing is is very weird because again he was a
<v Speaker 1>heel for all of last year, most of last year,
<v Speaker 1>and then through the Continental Classic, people just sort of
<v Speaker 1>naturally gravitated towards him and began to cheer for him,
<v Speaker 1>and continued to do so coming out of that tournament
<v Speaker 1>into the beginning of this year, and now all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden, he's back to being a bad guy again
<v Speaker 1>and everyone's booing him. I don't know. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what to make of it. As far as the match itself,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it was a solid match. I've commented before
<v Speaker 1>on Zada Steele. Zada Steele was a wwe ID signee.
<v Speaker 1>She's still very young. She's only twenty two years old,
<v Speaker 1>and whenever I've seen her, the thing that strikes me
<v Speaker 1>more so than anything like in the ring. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>she's fine in the ring, but it's how charismatic she is,
<v Speaker 1>the way she carries herself. She has a certain confidence
<v Speaker 1>about her, which at a young age like that, to
<v Speaker 1>carry herself in the way that she does, I think
<v Speaker 1>she has the potential to be a very big star. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>she's still a ways off from that, because again she's
<v Speaker 1>still very young and inexperience, but I've always been very
<v Speaker 1>impressed by, you know, whenever I hear her cut promos
<v Speaker 1>or anything like that. So she's somebody to keep an
<v Speaker 1>eye out for I think that was a good pickup
<v Speaker 1>by AW. It's not someone who's ready now to be
<v Speaker 1>in the championship mix or anything like that, but if
<v Speaker 1>they really give her the opportunity to, you know, just
<v Speaker 1>continue to work and continue to evolve and give her,
<v Speaker 1>you know, speaking time. I know she's not really a
<v Speaker 1>major priority for them right now, but she's you know,
<v Speaker 1>one of those young stars who I think could blossom
<v Speaker 1>into something big for them. Hopefully she gets that chance.
<v Speaker 1>We got a quick match here between Speedball Mike Bailey
<v Speaker 1>and Rocky Romero. Ultimate Weapon finished it here for Speedball
<v Speaker 1>in less than three minutes. Second week in a row
<v Speaker 1>that we've had Rocky Romero matches here on Dynamite. This
<v Speaker 1>was not much of a match. It was designed for
<v Speaker 1>Speedball to rack up another win over yet another member
<v Speaker 1>of the Don Kallis family. Nothing more, nothing less. So
<v Speaker 1>after a break, we had the AW World champion MJF
<v Speaker 1>back live on the show after missing last week's show,
<v Speaker 1>but for a pre tape promo which was very good.
<v Speaker 1>But he was actually there in the flesh this week,
<v Speaker 1>and he gloated about hanging the hangman at Revolution and
<v Speaker 1>he reiterated that he will never be AW World Champion
<v Speaker 1>ever again, and I am not going to re enact
<v Speaker 1>this promo, but he said the word ever at least
<v Speaker 1>twenty times. He made it very clear that Hangman will
<v Speaker 1>never ever be AW World Champion again, which means, of
<v Speaker 1>course he will at some point, but for now he won't.
<v Speaker 1>He called it an easy dub, not the e C
<v Speaker 1>dub called it, although if you watch that fucking Texas Deathmatch,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that was straight out of EC dub. But
<v Speaker 1>he said it was an easy dub at Revolution and
<v Speaker 1>the fact is he still holds the championship that every
<v Speaker 1>man on the planet wants the title. That means you
<v Speaker 1>have reached the mountaintop of this profession and there's no
<v Speaker 1>one who deserves it more than him. So Kenny Omega
<v Speaker 1>interrupted his little dick stroking session. They came face to
<v Speaker 1>face in the middle of the ring, and all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden, the smile that was on Mjf's face disappeared.
<v Speaker 1>The smile was gone, and he said. Omega said, You'll
<v Speaker 1>have to excuse the way that I'm dressed and how
<v Speaker 1>I smell. I just had a match, but what's your
<v Speaker 1>excuse MJF calls himself the devil. You go up and
<v Speaker 1>down the list of names that people have given me,
<v Speaker 1>the cleaner, the best bout machine, the god of pro wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>even at the height of my bad guyness. Oh God,
<v Speaker 1>what he's yes, at the height of his bad guyness.
<v Speaker 1>This is what he said. He said he was never
<v Speaker 1>so silly as to call himself a god. He never
<v Speaker 1>put himself on a pedestal above other people. But if
<v Speaker 1>MJF wants to call himself the devil, then maybe he
<v Speaker 1>can call himself a god so that the God can
<v Speaker 1>count could conquer the devil. When he pushed his body
<v Speaker 1>to the limit and his body told him, Kenny, you
<v Speaker 1>can't go any further. You can't keep you can't go
<v Speaker 1>any further. You need help, you need to take some
<v Speaker 1>time off, he never listened because he felt a responsibility
<v Speaker 1>to all these fans, and that was his fault. So
<v Speaker 1>when he fought MJF for that belt the first time,
<v Speaker 1>he goes, yeah, you were you were better than a
<v Speaker 1>sixty to eighty percent Kenny Omegan, I can admit that
<v Speaker 1>MJF was the better man. But now that I'm back losing,
<v Speaker 1>to swerve the way that I did. It taught me
<v Speaker 1>a very valuable lesson. He said, that is, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>going to fall for any bullshit high jinks that you
<v Speaker 1>may offer this Kenny Omega today, he said, I'm pretty
<v Speaker 1>close to one hundred percent and I'm probably better than
<v Speaker 1>you when it's okay if the fans know it. But
<v Speaker 1>the most important part, the part that scares MJF the most,
<v Speaker 1>is that he knows it too. And if he knows it,
<v Speaker 1>he's not afraid to show it, then why don't we
<v Speaker 1>just make this gosh darn thing official or Dynasty put
<v Speaker 1>her there? Pal, Oh my god, I'm trying to figure
<v Speaker 1>out who came off as more of a geek on
<v Speaker 1>this show, Kenny Omega or Speedball Mike Bailey. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It's close. It's a close competition between the two of them. Well,
<v Speaker 1>gosh darn, it looks like we have a title match
<v Speaker 1>for Dynasty now. MJF spoke up and he said, okay, Dynasty,
<v Speaker 1>the God against the Devil, you're on And as far
<v Speaker 1>as that handshake is concerned, and he went to put
<v Speaker 1>his hand out, but then he pulled back. He turned
<v Speaker 1>around and he walked off. So Omega got to do
<v Speaker 1>his catchphrase to close out the segment. Their first match
<v Speaker 1>was on Collision if you remember, it was about three
<v Speaker 1>years ago. It was in October I think of twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty three, and it was a great match and mj
<v Speaker 1>it was in the middle of his championship run. And
<v Speaker 1>I remember how strongly Kenny put him over on the
<v Speaker 1>microphone when that match was over. But Kenny was going
<v Speaker 1>through a lot of physical issues at the time. Kenny
<v Speaker 1>Omega was not one hundred percent, and yet he still
<v Speaker 1>went out there and had the kind of match that
<v Speaker 1>he had with MJF. So now imagine if he is
<v Speaker 1>feeling better now than he was, then what kind of
<v Speaker 1>match these two can go out there and have a Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be a great match, and I'm very much
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to it. But as far as what should
<v Speaker 1>happen at Dynasty, I just think it would be foolish
<v Speaker 1>to take that championship off of MJF right now. You know,
<v Speaker 1>you've got too many potential challengers that are still lined
<v Speaker 1>up for him just to throw it all away. Even
<v Speaker 1>Darby last week, you know, he directed that message right
<v Speaker 1>to MJF and he put his name in the hat. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we've seen MJF and Andrade, which I feel like at
<v Speaker 1>some point they have to do that match. I've said
<v Speaker 1>when I think that match should happen, There's just there's
<v Speaker 1>too much meat left on the bone to take that
<v Speaker 1>belt off of him right now. And frankly, I think
<v Speaker 1>it would be a mistake to take the belt off
<v Speaker 1>of him before will Osprey has the chance to go
<v Speaker 1>to Wembley Stadium and take the championship away from him himself.
<v Speaker 1>So it doesn't feel like the right time. It feels
<v Speaker 1>like the right time to do the match in Canada,
<v Speaker 1>I get it. I mean, you could have pushed it
<v Speaker 1>out to double or nothing. It's the difference between a month.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it's not really a big deal. But this
<v Speaker 1>just does not feel like the time to take that
<v Speaker 1>belt away from MJF. I would put him over Kenny
<v Speaker 1>a second time. Earlier today, Renee interviewed Adam Copeland and
<v Speaker 1>Christian Cage in the backstage area. Christian said that life
<v Speaker 1>is about making choices and FTR chose to turn their
<v Speaker 1>back on Adam Copeland. They chose to jump them after
<v Speaker 1>their match it all out and leave them laying and
<v Speaker 1>give Adam's wife a spike, pile driver, and even worse
<v Speaker 1>than that, they chose to give him a pile driver.
<v Speaker 1>And then he left, and Renee looked at Copeland, and
<v Speaker 1>Copeland looked at Renee, and Copeland told Renee, he's such
<v Speaker 1>an asshole, but he knows two bigger assholes, dax in Cash.
<v Speaker 1>You threw away our friendship. And he can understand why.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he's the ultimate opportunist, so he gets it.
<v Speaker 1>But when you decided to put your hands on Beth,
<v Speaker 1>You've been in our home, You've been under our roof,
<v Speaker 1>You've eaten our food, you have played with our kids.
<v Speaker 1>We've played with your kids. Our kids go to school together.
<v Speaker 1>He says, you want to throw all of that away.
<v Speaker 1>He knows how much they love those tag team titles,
<v Speaker 1>and they are going to take those tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>away from them. But eventually he's going to find them
<v Speaker 1>and he is going to end their careers eventually. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we already know when the match is going to be
<v Speaker 1>just and their careers in Vancouver. We're gonna take those
<v Speaker 1>titles away from you, but eventually we're gonna take your
<v Speaker 1>careers away from you. You know, you could kill two
<v Speaker 1>birds with one stone. At the pay per view. You
<v Speaker 1>could do it all. What do we do? What do
<v Speaker 1>you need to wait for? They cut back live. FTR
<v Speaker 1>came out on stage with Stokely Hathaway and Cash Meth. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>meth Phoenix, that's her new name. Now when do we
<v Speaker 1>get to see Meth Phoenix back on TV? So Cash
<v Speaker 1>Wheeler said that we made choices. Look at us now.
<v Speaker 1>Copeland thought that they would live in his shadow, but
<v Speaker 1>they'd take a back seat to no one. He said.
<v Speaker 1>In two thousand and nine, Copeland took Wheeler under his
<v Speaker 1>wing and let him live in his guest house. But
<v Speaker 1>it's not two thousand and nine anymore. Yeah, tell that
<v Speaker 1>to WWE. We keep hearing about two thousand and nine,
<v Speaker 1>Randy orton alistair Black. I mean people on the show
<v Speaker 1>talking about two thousand and nine, Randy Ord. Apparently it's
<v Speaker 1>two thousand and nine all over again. But he goes,
<v Speaker 1>this is my family now. I don't need you anymore.
<v Speaker 1>I have a family now. I don't need your wife,
<v Speaker 1>I don't need your stupid kids, and I damn sure
<v Speaker 1>don't need you FTR. We are living legends now. Then
<v Speaker 1>it was Dax's turn, and he said, neither Cope nor
<v Speaker 1>Christian are the men they used to be. They're shelves
<v Speaker 1>of their former selves. They're just a nostalgia act. The
<v Speaker 1>fans know it, their boss knows it, and more importantly,
<v Speaker 1>Cope and Christian know it. They love Beth and what
<v Speaker 1>they did to her made Copeland question is it worth
<v Speaker 1>it if he'll drop his wife? Now, if they're going
<v Speaker 1>to drop his wife on her head, just imagine what
<v Speaker 1>does Copeland think that they're going to do to him.
<v Speaker 1>So a couple of dueling promos here. We already knew
<v Speaker 1>this match was made. This was the only match up
<v Speaker 1>until tonight that was made official for Dynasty, So this
<v Speaker 1>was just throwing some more gas on the flame. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure we'll get the face to face between them probably
<v Speaker 1>in the next week or so. Not much else to
<v Speaker 1>say about that as we move on here to Orange
<v Speaker 1>Cassidy and Roderick Strong against David Finley and Clark Connors.
<v Speaker 1>The dogs. They did not have a good week last week.
<v Speaker 1>They lost a revolution gave Kid went in there last Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>he got beat in the Coffin match, lost to Darby Allen.
<v Speaker 1>We didn't see him tonight, so we're still doing this.
<v Speaker 1>I thought maybe we were done with this, but evidently
<v Speaker 1>we're not. We're still doing this. So the dogs took
<v Speaker 1>out Roddy Cassidy, sent Finley outside, delivered a PK to
<v Speaker 1>Connor's Finley got back inside and delivered a chop block
<v Speaker 1>to Cassidy's knee. Then came a spear, and then they
<v Speaker 1>finished him off with a move they call the full
<v Speaker 1>clip where one of them gets Cassidy up in a
<v Speaker 1>vertical supplex position and the other one comes off the
<v Speaker 1>top with a spear, and they got the pin to
<v Speaker 1>win the match. So at least they got these guys
<v Speaker 1>back in the win column. You know, David Finley has
<v Speaker 1>been there now for about a month, right, It was
<v Speaker 1>about a month ago, three or four weeks when he
<v Speaker 1>popped up as a surprise on Dynamite, And now that
<v Speaker 1>he's been around for about a month or so, they
<v Speaker 1>have done nothing to try to make this guy stand out.
<v Speaker 1>And they talked about him when he first showed up
<v Speaker 1>like he was a big deal, right, the hottest free agent,
<v Speaker 1>blah blah blah. They certainly haven't treated him like it.
<v Speaker 1>He's already just he's just another guy. He's just another
<v Speaker 1>guy in a trio not even on his own, but
<v Speaker 1>he just feels like another body on the show. We
<v Speaker 1>haven't even heard from him. I mean, not on Dynamite less.
<v Speaker 1>There was something on Collision, but I'm talking on Dynamite,
<v Speaker 1>which is where he debuted. We haven't even given him
<v Speaker 1>Mike time yet. So he's just showed up a few times,
<v Speaker 1>and he's won a match or two, and he's lost
<v Speaker 1>a couple of matches, and okay, he's been officially integrated
<v Speaker 1>into the roster. Welcome to aw David Finley, but they
<v Speaker 1>certainly haven't done a whole hell of a lot to
<v Speaker 1>make you feel like, hey, this guy is something special here.
<v Speaker 1>Not a great start, not a great start for him.
<v Speaker 1>After the match, we got a video package and a
<v Speaker 1>promo from Lena Cross and Meghan Bain where they told
<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron that they bid off more
<v Speaker 1>than they can chew and it costs them and they
<v Speaker 1>said that there are no second chances, just another fatality,
<v Speaker 1>you know. I gotta say, Megan and Lena they look
<v Speaker 1>good together. They really lucked into this pairing. And that
<v Speaker 1>rematch is going to be taking place for the women's
<v Speaker 1>tag team titles this Saturday. On Collision. Kyle Fletcher was backstage.
<v Speaker 1>He was talking about defeating his mentor, Robbie Eagles on
<v Speaker 1>Collision this past weekend. Okay, sure, he mentioned being undefeated
<v Speaker 1>in twenty twenty six, something Kenny Omega can't say. Even
<v Speaker 1>MJF can't say that. Fletcher isn't happy though about Don
<v Speaker 1>Kallis's business arrangement with MJF, instead saying the Kallus family
<v Speaker 1>should be fighting MJF, not working with him or for him,
<v Speaker 1>and bringing the aw World Championship back to the family.
<v Speaker 1>And he is just the man to do it. But first,
<v Speaker 1>and he brings in Kenoski Takeshta. Fletcher says, look, I
<v Speaker 1>know that you are not a fan of Okada. I
<v Speaker 1>know you are not a fan of pro Tookata. And
<v Speaker 1>Takesha said, look, nothing can come between you and me,
<v Speaker 1>especially Okada, and he reminds Fletcher that Protoshita came first,
<v Speaker 1>and the two of them share a hug. The slow
<v Speaker 1>burn continues for Takeshta and for Okata. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>it's been a it's been a slow burn for over
<v Speaker 1>a year. Now. We're in we're in paul A Vek
<v Speaker 1>territory here, but we just got it. We got to
<v Speaker 1>kill time until we get to Wembley. I think all
<v Speaker 1>roads lead to Wembley. Takeshta against Okada. I will say
<v Speaker 1>I did laugh. I don't know how many of you
<v Speaker 1>saw the clip. I don't know what it was from. Uh.
<v Speaker 1>Kyle Fletcher was doing some sort of interview. I guess
<v Speaker 1>I think it was him and sky Blue, But he
<v Speaker 1>was answering a viewer question and somebody asked him how
<v Speaker 1>many members are there in the Don Kallis family? And
<v Speaker 1>the first answer out of Kyle, and Kyle Fletcher is
<v Speaker 1>one of the more prominent members of the family. He's
<v Speaker 1>in the family, and the first words out of his
<v Speaker 1>mouth were fucked. If I know, at least he's honest,
<v Speaker 1>there's at least thirteen members of the family, minimum minimum thirteen.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know off him what the exact number is.
<v Speaker 1>It could be more, it could be it could be fourteen,
<v Speaker 1>it could be fifteen, it could be seventeen. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I know the number is at least thirteen. After that,
<v Speaker 1>it gets a little fuzzy. We had Tekla against Mina
<v Speaker 1>Shirakawa for the aw Women's World Championship. I thought they
<v Speaker 1>might save this for Dynasty, and then I saw they
<v Speaker 1>announced it for the show and I'm like, okay, then
<v Speaker 1>this is coming off Mina's win, the biggest win of
<v Speaker 1>her AW career last week on Dynamite over Marina Shaffir
<v Speaker 1>when she took the place of timeless Tony Storm who
<v Speaker 1>was attacked by a mystery assailant. And we are not
<v Speaker 1>going to see her now for a very long time.
<v Speaker 1>It's not an injury though those are the reports. Not
<v Speaker 1>an injury, but she's not expected back for a very
<v Speaker 1>long time, so make of that what you will. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>coming off her win over Marina on Dynamite last week,
<v Speaker 1>she gets a championship match here. She looked good on
<v Speaker 1>Saturday too at the House of Glory show, Mina did.
<v Speaker 1>She got a win over Shatzi will a little assist
<v Speaker 1>from Indy Hartwell well cross promotional action going on there
<v Speaker 1>with the TNA and AW, but it was another win
<v Speaker 1>for Mina. So can she keep the momentum going? That
<v Speaker 1>was the question here coming into this match now. At
<v Speaker 1>one point, Tecla mocked Mina. She was writhing around on
<v Speaker 1>the map the way that Tony Storm usually does, so
<v Speaker 1>that was kind of amusing. She did her spider pose
<v Speaker 1>and Mina was able to avoid the spear that followed
<v Speaker 1>she caught her with a knee strike. Techla did eventually
<v Speaker 1>catch her with a spear, and then she took her
<v Speaker 1>belt off. Now the referee, believe it was Mike Posey,
<v Speaker 1>got involved tried to prevent Tecla from using the belt,
<v Speaker 1>but then as the referee was distracted, Tecla pulled a
<v Speaker 1>pair of brass nuts out of her brazier. Mina ducked
<v Speaker 1>the punch, she delivered a backfist. She went for a supplex.
<v Speaker 1>Thing was like a backsupplex and Tecla had the knucks on.
<v Speaker 1>Referee could not see it from his vantage point, and
<v Speaker 1>she blasted Mina right in the head with the knucks
<v Speaker 1>and knocked her out. Tecla covered her and got the
<v Speaker 1>three count because Mina was out out. I will say
<v Speaker 1>they gave Mina a fair amount of offense here in
<v Speaker 1>this man. I don't want to say she took the
<v Speaker 1>entire match, but she got a lot of offense in
<v Speaker 1>here in this match. And then you look at the
<v Speaker 1>way the match ended, and Tecla had to cheat to win.
<v Speaker 1>So if they want to run this match, back at
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view, which would certainly make a lot
<v Speaker 1>of sense to me. That was the opening to do. So,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Mina now has a case to want to
<v Speaker 1>get a rematch for the championship. They haven't really set
<v Speaker 1>anybody else up as a potential next challenger for TECHLAS,
<v Speaker 1>so I assume that we were just going to run
<v Speaker 1>this match back again. Now I mentioned earlier I had
<v Speaker 1>some news to share with you on TECHLA. This comes
<v Speaker 1>from Fightful Select, which earlier this afternoon reported that Tecla
<v Speaker 1>recently signed a new multi year deal with aw even
<v Speaker 1>though she was already under a two year contract that
<v Speaker 1>was not close to expiring. And the reason is, according
<v Speaker 1>to the report, the company was so happy with her
<v Speaker 1>performance so far they made the move to sign her
<v Speaker 1>to a new multi year deal not even a full
<v Speaker 1>year into the original contract. Good for her. Tecla has
<v Speaker 1>been a great addition to that women's division. I've talked
<v Speaker 1>about how just unique she is as a personality. She's
<v Speaker 1>a little quirky, I think is a good way to
<v Speaker 1>put it, and quirky is good. She's a good wrestler too,
<v Speaker 1>but just personality wise, her promos and everything she has
<v Speaker 1>really shined. Yeah, they've given her the ball to run
<v Speaker 1>with and I think she's shined so far. So it's
<v Speaker 1>good to see someone being rewarded for that, and I
<v Speaker 1>was happy to hear that news. So, if you're a
<v Speaker 1>Techla fan, Tecla will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe that means a more extended title run for her.
<v Speaker 1>I certainly don't expect her to be dropping that championship
<v Speaker 1>at Dynasty, whether it's against Mina or whoever she gets
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with. So backstage we have Renee who
<v Speaker 1>is with Kenny Omega his third segment now on this show,
<v Speaker 1>and she mentioned that next week on Dynamite there is
<v Speaker 1>going to be a contract signing. But if there is
<v Speaker 1>any physicality, this is per MJF. Any physicality, the match
<v Speaker 1>is off. So Kenny said, it's like deja vous for him.
<v Speaker 1>It's been a while since he's been in this position
<v Speaker 1>challenging for the world title. If it's his time, then
<v Speaker 1>at Dynasty, he'll be the guy that take that title
<v Speaker 1>away from MJF. Now, all people to walk in in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of this segment. Here we had Speedball Mike Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>who walks in to remind Kenny that the two of
<v Speaker 1>them wrestled last year at Dynasty, and he meant what
<v Speaker 1>he said then and he means it now. He admires
<v Speaker 1>Kenny Omega, and he hopes that he goes on to
<v Speaker 1>beat MJF at Dynasty this year. When he does, he'll
<v Speaker 1>be right there for a title shot. But for now,
<v Speaker 1>he would just like to shake his hand. I would
<v Speaker 1>just like to shake your hand. And Kenny shook his hand,
<v Speaker 1>and he promised him the first shot, and Speedball wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>let go of the handshake, and so Kenny's basically asked
<v Speaker 1>if we could stop shaking hands. Now that was a
<v Speaker 1>little awkward, just a little bit, you know, all the
<v Speaker 1>more reason for MJF to win this matchic Dynasty. The
<v Speaker 1>idea of Speedball. Mike Bailey is the aw world champion. Look,
<v Speaker 1>Speedball is a great wrestler, but Speedball as the world champion. No, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>That's why we all need to root for MJF at Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned there was a Ricochet promo in here somewhere
<v Speaker 1>in the back. Again, he was just crying and complaining
<v Speaker 1>about losing his national title t to Jack Perry. So
<v Speaker 1>I guess he's going to be going back after the
<v Speaker 1>national title again soon. This week's episode is sponsored by WIS.

<v Speaker 1>Just visit wix dot com slash harmony. That's wix dot
<v Speaker 1>com slash Harmony. They close with Darby Allen against Rushe
<v Speaker 1>no countouts. Now, I would tell you that Darby really
<v Speaker 1>took a beating in this match, but I've been saying
<v Speaker 1>that about Darby matches for about six years now, so
<v Speaker 1>you don't really need me to say that. But this
<v Speaker 1>was Rush's first singles match on Dynamite in nearly two years.
<v Speaker 1>You'd have to go all the way back to June
<v Speaker 1>of twenty twenty four to find the last time that
<v Speaker 1>Rushe had a singles match on this show, and that
<v Speaker 1>singles match was against MJF. So here we are now.
<v Speaker 1>Not only is he back on Dynamite in the main event,
<v Speaker 1>but he's in a no countout match again, very weird stipulation,
<v Speaker 1>no count out, no DQ because these guys were outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring and they were killing each other. That's basically
<v Speaker 1>what it was. But you know, just to go back
<v Speaker 1>to the roosting for a second, the fact that it's
<v Speaker 1>been so long, and I know there were some injury
<v Speaker 1>issues in there, but it is insane how literally years
<v Speaker 1>will go by in between matches for some of these guys.
<v Speaker 1>Because Rush is not the only one. There are other
<v Speaker 1>examples of this. Every now and then you'll hear me
<v Speaker 1>in a review here where I'm like, oh, this is
<v Speaker 1>so and So's first match on Dynamite since twenty twenty four.
<v Speaker 1>This is their first singles match on Dynamite since twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty three, and I have to stop and think like,
<v Speaker 1>holy shit, Like unless it's someone who was out for
<v Speaker 1>an extended period of time with really significant injury, then
<v Speaker 1>you can understand it. How the fuck does that happen?
<v Speaker 1>And it just goes to show you the inconsistency is
<v Speaker 1>such a killer for some of the people on the
<v Speaker 1>undercard here in this company. How are you supposed to
<v Speaker 1>get over If you can't even get a match on
<v Speaker 1>the A show. Literal years will go by before you
<v Speaker 1>have another match on Dynamite. It just goes to show
<v Speaker 1>how inconsistent the booking is and also how large the
<v Speaker 1>roster is because there is only so much space on
<v Speaker 1>these shows. Not everybody has to be on the show
<v Speaker 1>every single week. But for Rouch to have a match
<v Speaker 1>on Dynamite in June of twenty four and not have
<v Speaker 1>a singles match on this show again until March of
<v Speaker 1>twenty six, like, how does that happen? There's no excuse
<v Speaker 1>for that. Consistency. Consistency is key. So Ruche jumped Darby
<v Speaker 1>as soon as he got to the ring and he
<v Speaker 1>started tossing him around ringside. Darby took a just disgusting
<v Speaker 1>bump over the ring steps where his legs smashed into
<v Speaker 1>the barricade. Then he tried for a suicide dive, but
<v Speaker 1>he crashed and burned onto the floor. He took a
<v Speaker 1>header into the floor when Ruche moved out of the way.
<v Speaker 1>Then Ruche delivered a belly to belly suplex from the
<v Speaker 1>apron to the floor, so you can see where Darby
<v Speaker 1>is basically a crash test dummy out there. So Darby
<v Speaker 1>was bleeding when the show came back from commercial. They
<v Speaker 1>said it was the wound that he sustained in last
<v Speaker 1>week's Coffin match that had reopened. Ruche told him hinga
<v Speaker 1>tou mad day, and in response to this, Darby fired up.
<v Speaker 1>He sent Rushe out to the floor right in front
<v Speaker 1>of the announced desk, caught him with a suicide dive.
<v Speaker 1>This time it did connect. Then he climbed to the
<v Speaker 1>top rope and delivered a drop kick, a shotgun dropkick
<v Speaker 1>from the top rope to the floor to Rouge, who
<v Speaker 1>was seated in a chair. So at the end of
<v Speaker 1>all this, Ruche was getting ready to give him the herns.
<v Speaker 1>If you mess with the bull, you get the herns.
<v Speaker 1>So he was going to get them the herns. And
<v Speaker 1>then Darby moved out of the way, and then he
<v Speaker 1>pulled Rush into a jackknife pin for the wind. He
<v Speaker 1>got a flash pin and he quickly scurried out to
<v Speaker 1>the floor. Darby Allen escapes. He didn't really win so
<v Speaker 1>much as he just he kind of survived and he escaped.
<v Speaker 1>So Mark Davis storms out from the back as Darby
<v Speaker 1>is sitting there. Again, I don't know what building they
<v Speaker 1>were in. Supposedly they had an excess of three thousand
<v Speaker 1>people there tonight, but it was one of these venues
<v Speaker 1>where very short aisleway you know, from the stage to
<v Speaker 1>the ring and Darby is just sitting there and he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't see Mark Davis storming out, and Davis just reaches
<v Speaker 1>down just in one fell swoop just picks him up
<v Speaker 1>and drops him with the pile driver right on the floor. Now,
<v Speaker 1>all the other members of the Callous family, however many
<v Speaker 1>there are spill out from the back, including Don Callous
<v Speaker 1>andrad is there with him as well. They all pour
<v Speaker 1>out from the back. This is all part of the
<v Speaker 1>deal they made with MJF to soften up Darby Allen.
<v Speaker 1>That's what the briefcase was last week that was presented
<v Speaker 1>to Andrade. They're working on behalf of the aw World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>and Andrade was He just stayed in the aisleway with
<v Speaker 1>Callous and he looked very unhappy about what was going on.
<v Speaker 1>He was just very upset inventing his frustrations to Don
<v Speaker 1>kallis not really participating in the attack itself. But they
<v Speaker 1>left Darby laying in the middle of the ring, and
<v Speaker 1>that is how they went off the air. And that
<v Speaker 1>would seem to be a match for Dynasty. You would think,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it was Andrade who was presented with the briefcase,
<v Speaker 1>so you would think that a Dynasty of the match
<v Speaker 1>is going to be Andrade one on one with Darby Allen.
<v Speaker 1>Nothing was officially said about that. It was a very
<v Speaker 1>flat ending to the show, and is the second week
<v Speaker 1>in a row now where I'm looking at this main
<v Speaker 1>event and I'm like, this doesn't really feel like it
<v Speaker 1>should be the main event of the show, and certainly
<v Speaker 1>not on a show where you had Kenny Omega and
<v Speaker 1>Swerved Strickland and what ended up being a pretty important match.
<v Speaker 1>They made the choice that they had to do the
<v Speaker 1>match first because they wanted him to come back out
<v Speaker 1>and interrupt MJF during his promo. So if that's what
<v Speaker 1>they wanted to do, then I guess it had to
<v Speaker 1>be done that way. But again, it was just this
<v Speaker 1>fall off from the opening segment where nothing else that
<v Speaker 1>they did, you know, for the rest of the night
<v Speaker 1>could really match what we got there in that opening segment.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, Darby, I understand Darby being or wanting
<v Speaker 1>to be, you know, in contention for the World Championship,
<v Speaker 1>throwing his name in the hat. He's another potential contender.
<v Speaker 1>He was the guy who so many people, myself included,
<v Speaker 1>thought that everything was building to him being the one
<v Speaker 1>to be the savior of AW. He chose to go
<v Speaker 1>climb Mount Everest. That took him out of the game.
<v Speaker 1>Hangman got his spot and the rest is history. That
<v Speaker 1>worked out in Texas last year, and so now Darby
<v Speaker 1>is back, and you know, he's been feuding with different people.
<v Speaker 1>Really it's been Gabe Kid and the dogs. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>watching all this. It's not like the idea of Darby
<v Speaker 1>Allen winning the world championship or being the one to
<v Speaker 1>beat MJF. No, no interest, none. And these two have
<v Speaker 1>had some really good matches together before. Remember the four
<v Speaker 1>Pillars four away at Double or Nothing a few years ago.
<v Speaker 1>They had a singles match many years ago. I want
<v Speaker 1>to say that opened full gear, one of the best
<v Speaker 1>opening matches that you'll ever see on a pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>So these two have had good matches before. I have
<v Speaker 1>no doubt that if they wrestle again, which they will,
<v Speaker 1>they'll have a good match. But the idea of of
<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen becoming the AW world champion, especially when you
<v Speaker 1>have all of these other names that are lined up
<v Speaker 1>as potential contenders, no, no, I have no desire. What's
<v Speaker 1>so to see that? And I don't see how Darby
<v Speaker 1>Winnie matches like this where he basically just gets like
<v Speaker 1>a flash pin and then quickly, you know, runs out
<v Speaker 1>of the ring. How does that make him look strong?
<v Speaker 1>How does that make him look like a strong contender
<v Speaker 1>for the world championship. It doesn't. You know, Yes, he
<v Speaker 1>got to win over Rouche, but it was kind of
<v Speaker 1>a flukey win. So it's not even like they're booking
<v Speaker 1>him in a way where he's like a world beater,
<v Speaker 1>and frankly he shouldn't be, for being honest, but you
<v Speaker 1>would think that they would book him a little stronger
<v Speaker 1>than that, a little more decisive with some of these wins.
<v Speaker 1>That's certainly not how it came across here tonight. I
<v Speaker 1>think on the whole, like I said at the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of all, this decent show, great opening match, with nothing
<v Speaker 1>else that could really compare to it. It was good
<v Speaker 1>to have MJF and Kenny back in person. They were
<v Speaker 1>missing from the show last week, so it was good
<v Speaker 1>to have them back. We got a couple more things
<v Speaker 1>confirmed for Dynasty. I will point out though I mentioned Speedball,
<v Speaker 1>and Speedball is one third of the trios champions Mistico,
<v Speaker 1>We're not going to have on the show every week.
<v Speaker 1>He's got the dual contract. He's going to split time
<v Speaker 1>between AW and CMLL. But you have the jet Kevin Knight,
<v Speaker 1>who was not on the show tonight. Kevin Knight is
<v Speaker 1>somebody who really, starting around the time of the Continental Classic,
<v Speaker 1>was really starting to get some consistent reps on TV.
<v Speaker 1>And he picked up some big wins too, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>including over Darby but also Okada right in that tournament.
<v Speaker 1>That's really where it sort of started with him. And
<v Speaker 1>then coming out of the tournament, really the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>this year, he got more television time and they were
<v Speaker 1>featuring him more. And then several weeks went by where
<v Speaker 1>he was on the show every single week and he
<v Speaker 1>was having some big matches, even with mjf Right. He
<v Speaker 1>was in there with some you know, some big names,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought, this is good for Kevin Knight, because
<v Speaker 1>that's exactly what you want to see if you have
<v Speaker 1>a young star that you think, okay, this guy could
<v Speaker 1>be something. Consistency, get him on television, get him in
<v Speaker 1>front of the people, get him wins on TV. And
<v Speaker 1>they were doing that. He wasn't winning. I mean, he
<v Speaker 1>didn't win. You know, obviously the match with MJF. But
<v Speaker 1>the last time we saw him is when they lost
<v Speaker 1>the trios titles to the Kallis Family. It was at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the month. Three weeks in a row.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is not the only one who's been missing for
<v Speaker 1>three weeks in a row, although that's far more egregious.
<v Speaker 1>But it's been three weeks no Kevin Knight, no Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Knight in action here on these shows. And after I
<v Speaker 1>was praising them, I'm like, this is what you need
<v Speaker 1>to be doing. All of a sudden, he's mia on Dynamite.
<v Speaker 1>We've seen Speedball, but we haven't seen Kevin Knight, and
<v Speaker 1>so it just goes to what I was saying before
<v Speaker 1>about you know the importance of consistency and if there
<v Speaker 1>is someone that you want to push and elevate to
<v Speaker 1>where the fans will see them as being, you know,
<v Speaker 1>a big deal and someone special, you got to get
<v Speaker 1>them on the show. Tony was doing a good job
<v Speaker 1>of that. Where where has he gone? Where has he gone?
<v Speaker 1>Where where has he disappeared to? How are you building
<v Speaker 1>on all of that momentum? I saw Speedball and it
<v Speaker 1>made me think of Kevin Knight, and I'm like, boy,
<v Speaker 1>you know he was. He was on a decent little
<v Speaker 1>role there for himself. And now it's been three weeks
<v Speaker 1>and nothing, nothing that has to change, like he's vanished
<v Speaker 1>on this show. What did you think of Dynamite from Minnesota?
<v Speaker 1>Fifty two percent thumbs up for Tonight' show about forty
<v Speaker 1>eight percent thumbs down, so more thumbs up than down.
<v Speaker 1>But that's pretty close to a tie. That's right there,
<v Speaker 1>almost right down the middle. At Solemn Monster on X
<v Speaker 1>let me know what you thought of tonight's show. I
<v Speaker 1>want to hear from you guys. Let's get into your
<v Speaker 1>super chats here, Crypto and Poker. I'll be at h
<v Speaker 1>og in Vegas. Where are you partying after? Where am
<v Speaker 1>I partying after? Probably in my bed is. I'm flying
<v Speaker 1>back to New York the next morning. That's what I'll
<v Speaker 1>be doing, Lee, I'll enjoy myself on the Wednesday night.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says, I'm on team Tom Brady. Brady and
<v Speaker 1>Pro Wrestling is a perfect fit. Have you watched the
<v Speaker 1>roast of Tom Brady on Netflix? I know it's a work,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the other WWE stars are getting worked. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't really, I honestly don't give a shit about
<v Speaker 1>the Tom Brady stuff. I know they're trying to get
<v Speaker 1>him on the Wrestle Mendia card to do something, and
<v Speaker 1>you know it'll be a big name for them to get.
<v Speaker 1>But he's been making these comments. It's obviously all designed to,
<v Speaker 1>you know, get people worked up. Some people are. I
<v Speaker 1>think most people aren't. I think they see it for
<v Speaker 1>what it is. But honestly, I just I don't give
<v Speaker 1>a shit. I really don't care about any of that.
<v Speaker 1>Says Also, the h og Las Vegas card is loaded.
<v Speaker 1>Yes it is. We're not even done with all the
<v Speaker 1>announcements yet. It is loaded. Hopefully once I get to Vegas,
<v Speaker 1>I'll be loaded. I haven't been to Vegas in a while.
<v Speaker 1>I try to enjoy myself a little bit, says, you
<v Speaker 1>know why Randy Orton is getting cheered a lot is
<v Speaker 1>because Orton really is not a villain. He's an anti
<v Speaker 1>hero of the story during his feud with Cody. No.
<v Speaker 1>I mean they're cheering him because they just they like
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton and they don't want to boo him. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it's like the John Cena thing. He's been around for
<v Speaker 1>so long and some people are sick of Cody and
<v Speaker 1>so that's a bad combination. If you're looking for people
<v Speaker 1>to boo Randy Orton and sheer Cody Rhodes, it's a solo.
<v Speaker 1>I love your music, taste for synthwave. I love LeBrock,
<v Speaker 1>Ultra Boss, Tokyo Rose, Bonnie McKee and Vibe Cycle Remix.
<v Speaker 1>Those are my favorites. You need to check out The
<v Speaker 1>Midnight and you need to check out Dance with the Dead.
<v Speaker 1>Check out some of their music as well. Indigo just
<v Speaker 1>want to say thank you for all the content this
<v Speaker 1>past year. I work a lot now, but I always
<v Speaker 1>try my best to show up and show out much
<v Speaker 1>love bro Yeah, Indigo is the one of the ogs,
<v Speaker 1>and Indigo is a good guy. It's a good dude, Indigo.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that. Thank you very much. Cult Meetup says
<v Speaker 1>two bucks for racing Queen, trents ripped, loved yourself Trent's ripped. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I figured you would enjoy racing Queen for the intro
<v Speaker 1>Tonight Leopoldo with a twenty eight which I already read.
<v Speaker 1>We don't have to get into the meth cookies again,
<v Speaker 1>but thank you Leopoldo and Randy Bobandi as well. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you for that fifty You guys are awesome. The Mount
<v Speaker 1>Vernon kid, Christopher Bennett. Whenever Rushe is in a match,
<v Speaker 1>it kind of takes my brother and I out of
<v Speaker 1>the match. It's just the no selling. It just feels
<v Speaker 1>so wrong at times. Yeah, Rush is not the only
<v Speaker 1>one who has a problem with that in that company. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I will say there are matches that I'll see these
<v Speaker 1>days where it does take you out of it, because
<v Speaker 1>it really does. Sometimes it just feels like they're doing
<v Speaker 1>moves for the sake of doing moves, and you never
<v Speaker 1>want to feel that way when you're watching the match.
<v Speaker 1>Gotta get to the next spot, Gotta do the next spot.
<v Speaker 1>Like that's not wrestling. I don't know what that is.
<v Speaker 1>That's bad wrestling. So you're not wrong about that. Also,
<v Speaker 1>forty six months as a member always a pleasure. Also
<v Speaker 1>turned forty four yesterday. I feel blessed to see another year. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I am very happy that you are here to see
<v Speaker 1>another year. Hopefully you'll have forty six more or forty
<v Speaker 1>four more. Forty six months is a member, but he
<v Speaker 1>turned forty four. Try chicken, MJF be like forever, forever, forever.
<v Speaker 1>If only MJF said, I'm sorry, missus Hangman, I am
<v Speaker 1>four reel forever forever, EV and men love Tekla. Tekla
<v Speaker 1>gives off Tiffany Valentine aka Jennifer Tilly vibes from Shucky. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean a little bit. I can see that. I
<v Speaker 1>can see that Robert forty nine months of membership, Rouche
<v Speaker 1>should have been at least a two time aw World
<v Speaker 1>champion during his run in the company. What is wrong
<v Speaker 1>with Tony Kahan? I don't know. I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>I agree with that that he should be a two
<v Speaker 1>time champion by now, but he should certainly be featured
<v Speaker 1>more consistently on TV and not have two singles matches
<v Speaker 1>in two years. I just think that's fucking ridiculous. Scott
<v Speaker 1>Woodford celebrating sixty months of membership. I was there tonight
<v Speaker 1>and I give it a four out of ten. There
<v Speaker 1>you go. I said it was a decent show. It
<v Speaker 1>was not great. The opening match was great. That was
<v Speaker 1>the only great thing on the show. The rest of
<v Speaker 1>it it was okay. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great.
<v Speaker 1>Did Rusche send that chat in Yes, Rush is under
<v Speaker 1>a burner account saying what's wrong with Tony Kahan Rusche
<v Speaker 1>should have already been a two time AW champion by now.
<v Speaker 1>See Rush on his phone in the locker room in
<v Speaker 1>the live chat typing his message in anyway, thank you
<v Speaker 1>guys again. The the likes goal was five point fifteen.
<v Speaker 1>We were at three seventy five. So yeah, the WWE streams,
<v Speaker 1>we don't have an issue with it. The AW streams
<v Speaker 1>is always very hit or miss. So tonight was not
<v Speaker 1>a B the booker night unfortunately, and there was some
<v Speaker 1>I did some refreshing to it too, so we'll have
<v Speaker 1>to table that for Friday and shoot for Friday we'll
<v Speaker 1>have another be the booker goal. Then, if you missed
<v Speaker 1>the new episode of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, it is
<v Speaker 1>up some good shit covered on there that went up
<v Speaker 1>yesterday on the Ariel Hellwani Show main feed and now
<v Speaker 1>a dedicated feed just for the Uncrowned Wrestling Show so
<v Speaker 1>you could search for it and subscribe there as well
<v Speaker 1>on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever you get your podcast from.
<v Speaker 1>And I appreciate the tweets and the feedback. If you
<v Speaker 1>listen to the show, drop me a tweet, include the
<v Speaker 1>hashtag Uncrowned dry Chicken. Says Gordon Ramsey and pro wrestling
<v Speaker 1>would be a perfect fit. Have you heard his insults
<v Speaker 1>on Hell's Kitchen? I have. I feel like he has
<v Speaker 1>another show now, I think right, I feel like he's
<v Speaker 1>mellowed out, maybe in his old age. But oh yes,
<v Speaker 1>I've certainly heard his insults before. There's a channel. I
<v Speaker 1>think I'm Pluto TV. Sometimes I'm kind of scrolling through.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a Hell's Kitchen channel on there, but
<v Speaker 1>I've come across it on there too sometimes. And yeah, no,
<v Speaker 1>there's been some meltdowns on that show. Yeah, yes, Brian, Brian,
<v Speaker 1>he's talking about what I said about the Undertaker's Sweet
<v Speaker 1>package that they are offering for WrestleMania. Yes, I had
<v Speaker 1>a whole thing on that on TNT last night. And
<v Speaker 1>thank you for all the love on TNT, JD and
<v Speaker 1>I very much appreciative. We've been killing it with those shows.
<v Speaker 1>You guys have been showing up and showing out, and
<v Speaker 1>we had upwards of three thousand people live last night,
<v Speaker 1>So Tuesday has become quite the quite the day, Quite
<v Speaker 1>the day. Anyway. Next time I'm back here with you
<v Speaker 1>live will be Friday night for SmackDown. Cody Rhodes expected
<v Speaker 1>back on that show. He was supposed to be on
<v Speaker 1>The Pat McAfee show today and he canceled. There was
<v Speaker 1>some sort of scheduling conflict. I'm assuming they came to
<v Speaker 1>their senses and said, wait a minute, why are we
<v Speaker 1>giving away his first appearance on the fucking Pat McAfee show.
<v Speaker 1>Let's save him for SmackDown. So we should have Cody
<v Speaker 1>Rhodes and Randy Orton together in the building on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>And isn't there is there a tag team title? Man? Guy,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know now, they're doing one next week now.
<v Speaker 1>Actually I think it's Charlotte and Alexa right against the
<v Speaker 1>Bella Twins. Is that what they're doing on Friday? I whatever?
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, anyway, be well, stay safe, every sls a
<v Speaker 1>great night. Maybe we can pull our money together and
<v Speaker 1>we can do the Clash in Italy ticket package. What
<v Speaker 1>do you think about that? We could actually cook pasta
<v Speaker 1>with a WWE superstar, an unknown unnamed WWE superstar. It's
<v Speaker 1>only eleven thousand, five hundred dollars. That's part of the
<v Speaker 1>package that you get with your your tickets and some
<v Speaker 1>of the other perks. We'll pull all of our money together.
<v Speaker 1>We'll do like a GoFundMe so we can learn pasta making,
<v Speaker 1>pasta making with axiom. Oh boy, I want to know
<v Speaker 1>how he's going to eat the pasta threw his mask.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe I'll ask him. See you guys on Friday.
