<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, Katie and Josh in the morning Nick Mix one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>The guys, it's Jermy, Katy Josh here, it makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks for hanging out with us on a fun Thursday.
<v Speaker 2>We'll be playing the Mix one hundred. March Matchness coming up.
<v Speaker 2>But at about a half an hour or so seven
<v Speaker 2>o'clock today, bonus round with JKJ Katie. I got a
<v Speaker 2>couple things like one, I gotta ask you a quick question, okay,
<v Speaker 2>and then we'll get into this term that you hit
<v Speaker 2>me with this morning. Yeah, how was your interview with
<v Speaker 2>that guy that you want a tongue rustling?
<v Speaker 3>Shut up, don't say it like that.
<v Speaker 2>You interviewed a guy yesterday for Colorado Conversation.
<v Speaker 1>Did Yeah, thank you by the way for mentioning that,
<v Speaker 1>just because that's a local nonprofit program that we have
<v Speaker 1>here on Mixed one hundred and all of our stations
<v Speaker 1>within our company you can hear at Sundays six am
<v Speaker 1>is when it's here on Mixed one hundred. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I chat to people within our community who are making
<v Speaker 1>it a better place to live, and I love it.
<v Speaker 1>And so I had an interview yesterday and.
<v Speaker 2>With a dream Boat the.
<v Speaker 1>Gentleman I was interviewing followed me on instag before it happened,
<v Speaker 1>and that's what I was telling you guys. I was like, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>he's like super handsome and like the more I looked
<v Speaker 1>into his page, I was like, oh, he does a.
<v Speaker 3>Lot of really good things for folks in need. I
<v Speaker 3>did not see a ring.
<v Speaker 2>She was showing his pictures of this guy. She's like
<v Speaker 2>a smile at his hair.
<v Speaker 3>He's perfect, kind of handsome.
<v Speaker 2>So how to go?
<v Speaker 3>So how funny?
<v Speaker 1>Yesterday I told you after the show, I had to
<v Speaker 1>run home and literally run. I went on my two
<v Speaker 1>mile run and then I jumped in the shower that's
<v Speaker 1>not working correctly, and came back to the station. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I'm coming in from the parking lot and I looked
<v Speaker 1>to my left and there's a handsome gentleman walking into
<v Speaker 1>the building with me, and I'm like, oh, this is him, Like, hi,
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking to you today, and he was like, oh, hi,
<v Speaker 1>you know. So we started talking and he actually gave
<v Speaker 1>me a hug, and in that moment, I realized, I'm
<v Speaker 1>still pretty sweaty from my run.
<v Speaker 3>Oh this is.
<v Speaker 2>Not what I got, I know.
<v Speaker 1>So it was just kind of a little embarrassing in
<v Speaker 1>that moment, but we started and realized we had a
<v Speaker 1>lot in common.
<v Speaker 3>Like he is also a runner.
<v Speaker 1>His so his actual job, like he has a nonprofit
<v Speaker 1>where he helps out kids in the community. Already pulling
<v Speaker 1>at the heartstrings, right, Like you take your spare time
<v Speaker 1>and help out kids.
<v Speaker 3>I love that. His main job, Like.
<v Speaker 1>His business that he runs is Colorado's largest book club
<v Speaker 1>for Men's.
<v Speaker 2>All about it.
<v Speaker 1>And then we start talking about like hiking and how
<v Speaker 1>he's a big hiker and he's also a runner. He's
<v Speaker 1>training for a twenty K I know, Like it's this
<v Speaker 1>amazing And then like I find myself because he's telling
<v Speaker 1>me about him, and I like, can just imagine the
<v Speaker 1>big smile across my face and I look pretty goofy.
<v Speaker 1>And then I hear out of my head, I like, waterfalls,
<v Speaker 1>do you like stupid?
<v Speaker 2>Like that I can read.
<v Speaker 1>I know children, Oh my gosh, Like I just felt
<v Speaker 1>like I was so stupid. But we took a picture
<v Speaker 1>out here in the you know, I saw the picture
<v Speaker 1>in so we could promote the interview and whatnot. And
<v Speaker 1>so he he's like, well, you don't have my my
<v Speaker 1>cell phone to you.
<v Speaker 3>So he's like you can text me the picture and
<v Speaker 3>I can put it up. So we exchange numbers.
<v Speaker 1>I texted him the picture and then we kind of
<v Speaker 1>texted all night last night, and.
<v Speaker 3>I and you know, it's really funny.
<v Speaker 1>So when I give people a tour of the station,
<v Speaker 1>my favorite place to show them. And I don't know
<v Speaker 1>why this is, but there's a room upstairs that is
<v Speaker 1>full events.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, yeah, I've been in there. Have you everything cool?
<v Speaker 2>It is the neatest room up there. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if we're allowed in there, but I like to wandering.
<v Speaker 1>The show everybody. I need everybody I give a tour.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, wait, I say the best for last come.
<v Speaker 3>Look at our vents.
<v Speaker 2>Like so it's funny.
<v Speaker 3>I brought him up there and I'm like, can you believe?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, cause I imagine in my mind that
<v Speaker 1>is what's keeping all of our equipment cool, right, like
<v Speaker 1>all the events and everything, but what it.
<v Speaker 2>Is for you?
<v Speaker 3>So I puzzled it out, and so that's why.
<v Speaker 2>And you're like, come on, oh, the lights just suddenly
<v Speaker 2>went on. I'm so right.
<v Speaker 3>Here music come from. But that's kind of.
<v Speaker 2>This is where it keeps everything cool when things get hot.
<v Speaker 3>Even though I'm kind of hot right now.
<v Speaker 2>How did this song come on? Oh my gosh, so
<v Speaker 2>dark in here. I'm so frightened.
<v Speaker 1>That is kind of like was my ind with chatting
<v Speaker 1>with him, you know, because it was like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad you enjoyed the tour, especially in the fan room.
<v Speaker 1>So then we're just like laughing about the fact.
<v Speaker 3>That we saw the event.
<v Speaker 2>I love laughing too, a laugh. We're laughing together. Oh oh,
<v Speaker 2>kiss me.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, we're laughing while we're making out.
<v Speaker 2>Tell me about your books and small children.
<v Speaker 3>It's not like that yet, but it will be very
<v Speaker 3>He's very good. He's nice. I liked him, so yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Katie was giving us some more information on this dude
<v Speaker 2>that she has the hots for. Off the air. He's
<v Speaker 2>the founder of the for the Day Without Hate. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he is. My kids participate in that in schools.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of schools participate in that, especially locally, but
<v Speaker 1>it is worldwide and it's a message that is so important.
<v Speaker 1>I know, and I love that the message focuses on
<v Speaker 1>love and doing good things and not even it is
<v Speaker 1>an anti bullying message, but he doesn't put the focus
<v Speaker 1>on the bullying part. It's all about the love and
<v Speaker 1>the giving and creating good and.
<v Speaker 3>So it's just this guy, it's inspiring.
<v Speaker 2>Might be too good for that.
<v Speaker 3>I knew you were gonna say that.
<v Speaker 2>One of those things where it's not going to work
<v Speaker 2>out because he's he's too.
<v Speaker 3>Saint, like saying because I'm not and you've.
<v Speaker 4>Been to jail's minor details had a drinking problem.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, it's not even like that was decades ago that
<v Speaker 1>I was in the slammer.
<v Speaker 2>She can kick a kid.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, he has no children. I don't think I didn't
<v Speaker 3>even as.
<v Speaker 4>Well.
<v Speaker 3>You stop like, that's.
<v Speaker 2>Not no, I'm just I'm referencing back to a conversation
<v Speaker 2>we had a couple of days ago about how you
<v Speaker 2>said you couldn't be with somebody unless they had experienced
<v Speaker 2>all the same trauma that you've gone through, and this
<v Speaker 2>guy hasn't.
<v Speaker 3>Not even Okay, Okay, that's probably good. That's probably a
<v Speaker 3>und rebuttal.
<v Speaker 2>But it's a great rebutt. It's your quote. I love
<v Speaker 2>when I get to throw yourself back in your I.
<v Speaker 3>Think we've all went through things by this point.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he has plenty of trauma we just didn't
<v Speaker 1>get into that day.
<v Speaker 2>Really, it sounds like he's doing everything perfectly. He's part
<v Speaker 2>of a book small children. Still he stops bullying that
<v Speaker 2>come with it. In North Dakota, I was in jail.
<v Speaker 3>One time.
<v Speaker 2>But if I recall, you got in my kitchen about
<v Speaker 2>this like a week ago.
<v Speaker 3>No, and you're taking my words out of content.
<v Speaker 2>No, No, I.
<v Speaker 1>Did not say we had to go through every single
<v Speaker 1>thing the same.
<v Speaker 3>I said.
<v Speaker 2>I think, oh, she's getting fired out.
<v Speaker 1>I said that we need to go through trauma doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have to be the same you said.
<v Speaker 2>You said, need a backstory of trauma to be with
<v Speaker 2>you because you've had trauma.
<v Speaker 1>No, and it's not even it is to deal with
<v Speaker 1>stuff before we get like, but you don't have to
<v Speaker 1>have the same trauma.
<v Speaker 4>I remember saying, maybe you need a guy that hasn't
<v Speaker 4>gone through any of this. You need a good guy,
<v Speaker 4>and you need a good guy. And you're like, you're like,
<v Speaker 4>I don't think I think that thing again.
<v Speaker 1>You need to deal with strife in life to get
<v Speaker 1>to this level where we're at, Like we're grown now,
<v Speaker 1>we're not in our twenties and even thirties.
<v Speaker 2>Like and I think I said on the air, it's like,
<v Speaker 2>if you find a perfect guy with not a lot
<v Speaker 2>of trauma background, and he's pretty. You're gonna so go
<v Speaker 2>for it, and you're like.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, And here we are later on context.
<v Speaker 3>You are you taking my words? I love you because okay,
<v Speaker 3>I love you too.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry you feel that way.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I agree. I'm glad we had this time.
<v Speaker 2>Somebody pulled that podcast immediately. You're so full of it.
<v Speaker 2>You are so no, not
