<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, Katie and Josh Morning.
<v Speaker 2>I was reading this one again off the air, and
<v Speaker 2>I don't even know.
<v Speaker 3>This is so first world problem. I don't know if
<v Speaker 3>we picked the right one to do.
<v Speaker 1>But oh, but we're gonna do it.
<v Speaker 2>Well, here we are. We're in the thick of it.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think anybody's gonna sound off about this because
<v Speaker 3>it's so like, oh woe is me?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, but here we go. Here's Janelle.
<v Speaker 3>She wrote in she says, Hey, guys, I'm going on
<v Speaker 3>a girl's trip with eight of my closest friends to
<v Speaker 3>celebrate one of their birthdays.
<v Speaker 2>I said, yeah, count me in.
<v Speaker 3>Then about a week later, birthday girl drops her vision
<v Speaker 3>for the weekend, and I am super annoyed. She says
<v Speaker 3>she wants all eight of us in one hotel room,
<v Speaker 3>one freaking room. She says in all caps what she says, Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>eight grown women in our thirties and forties, fighting over
<v Speaker 3>outlets and bathroom time and hot water.
<v Speaker 2>YadA, YadA, YadA, yadda.
<v Speaker 3>She's talking matching pajamas, staying up all night, nobody sleeps,
<v Speaker 3>just like we're in middle school again. She wrote, Oh,
<v Speaker 3>barf in all caps. She says, I'm not about this
<v Speaker 3>at all. I need my own room, my own privacy.
<v Speaker 3>So I suggested maybe we get adjoining rooms or even
<v Speaker 3>just split up a little bit, and she took it
<v Speaker 3>very personally. Now it's turned into me killing.
<v Speaker 2>The vibe is the quote.
<v Speaker 3>Most of the ladies in the group think I'm being
<v Speaker 3>high maintenance, but a couple have quietly texted me like
<v Speaker 3>we feel the same way.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to ruin.
<v Speaker 3>Her birthday, but I also don't want to spend a
<v Speaker 3>long weekend not being able to walk around in a
<v Speaker 3>towel with face creamon in private thoughts, Guys, am I.
<v Speaker 2>A monster for wanting this? Or do I just suck
<v Speaker 2>it up for the birthday girl? Or come on?
<v Speaker 3>Is it reasonable just to want my own space and
<v Speaker 3>still be considered a good friend?
<v Speaker 2>What do you guys think?
<v Speaker 3>She ends it with feel free to use this on
<v Speaker 3>your show knows All segment.
<v Speaker 2>Close he almost got Joe wants to Know segment. She said,
<v Speaker 2>love you, guys, and that's from Janelle. So what do
<v Speaker 2>you think you want to sound off about?
<v Speaker 3>Janelle's such a big first role problem situation Phone lines
<v Speaker 3>are open three oh three, six, nine to one one
<v Speaker 3>mix three oh three six nine one, sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 2>If you want to sound off, I'm not. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>feeling like people are gonna care.
<v Speaker 1>I think that this is a little bit of a
<v Speaker 1>I don't know predicament for this woman, because I just
<v Speaker 1>don't think I could spend an entire day in a
<v Speaker 1>room with all the I mean, I don't know. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>I could suck it up for one nighte.
<v Speaker 2>Women in one room. Yeah, he's getting the cot that
<v Speaker 2>we are.
<v Speaker 1>Because that's the thing too, is how are those sleeping
<v Speaker 1>arrangements going to be? You know, but for one night,
<v Speaker 1>maybe I could do it. If this is someone's real,
<v Speaker 1>big birthday, wish you know.
<v Speaker 2>I've got some thoughts on it. Here's Amber, who made
<v Speaker 2>it through, clean mouthed Amber. Hi, Amber, good morning, Good morning.
<v Speaker 4>How are you well?
<v Speaker 3>We are super dupes. What do you think about Janelle's situation?
<v Speaker 2>This is such a first world problem right here, But
<v Speaker 2>what are your thoughts?
<v Speaker 4>I think it is a first world problem. Honestly, I
<v Speaker 4>think it's healthy to have boundaries, but I think we've
<v Speaker 4>gotten so like strict down the boundaries that people have
<v Speaker 4>kind of become more clothes and like cold and callous
<v Speaker 4>and I don't know. I think we need to normalize
<v Speaker 4>inconveniencing ourselves a little bit for people that we love
<v Speaker 4>and like. Like we so we've got we don't like
<v Speaker 4>do anything for people anymore as much as we used to.
<v Speaker 4>We're all like stuck in our own ways and we're
<v Speaker 4>all like bullheaded about it. But I think like if
<v Speaker 4>we go into these experiences with a little bit less expectation,
<v Speaker 4>you might have a lot of fun. I'm staying and
<v Speaker 4>I'm doing the similar thing in like less than two weeks.
<v Speaker 4>We're doing like a CrossFit competition. I have a friend
<v Speaker 4>swing in from New Orleans and we are all staying
<v Speaker 4>in the same freaking hotel room. There's like eight of us,
<v Speaker 4>nine of us. I don't even know. I didn't ask.
<v Speaker 4>I'm just showing up to do.
<v Speaker 2>Push ups together and to approach it's gonna be.
<v Speaker 4>A great guy who knows we like to do weird
<v Speaker 4>things for fun. But either way, like just get out
<v Speaker 4>of your comfort zone, have fun, show up, do weird things.
<v Speaker 4>All I know is we're buying large T shirts. We're
<v Speaker 4>supposed to go out to dinner and wear wigs. I
<v Speaker 4>have no idea. Oh no, yes, oh no, like who
<v Speaker 4>cares like lit it whatever, it's fun.
<v Speaker 3>I love that it's making me smile especially, But honestly,
<v Speaker 3>you will never find a group of guys I think
<v Speaker 3>they want to do this, like, hey, let's share rooms,
<v Speaker 3>bro and wear wigs and go out strictly ladies.
<v Speaker 4>Last year we did old lady costumes, so we wore
<v Speaker 4>like old lady wigs and it was like moo moos.
<v Speaker 2>It was a thing, obviously, And I'm not knocking you guys.
<v Speaker 3>I'm a little jealous, and I wish I had a
<v Speaker 3>group of guy friends who were like, hey, you want
<v Speaker 3>to dress up like old ladies and go out?
<v Speaker 2>I probably would do that. That's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>I bet you could get a group of guys to
<v Speaker 1>go to like the ballpark dressed as like old school
<v Speaker 1>baseball players, throwing back beers and hanging out in a group.
<v Speaker 1>I want to be an old lady, like I know,
<v Speaker 1>but you can get dressed up as old ladies.
<v Speaker 4>But I think amber old ladies would be fun. And honestly,
<v Speaker 4>every time we do it, we get so many people
<v Speaker 4>coming up to this and they're like they're in love
<v Speaker 4>with it. They want to take pictures and like live
<v Speaker 4>vicariously have fun whatever, but like do it yourself too.
<v Speaker 3>It's nice to not take yourself so seriously from time
<v Speaker 3>to time, you know, it's like, just have fun, live
<v Speaker 3>your life.
<v Speaker 4>It's really hard to take yourself seriously sitting in a
<v Speaker 4>nice Italian restaurant wearing the moon away.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, and you made such a good point.
<v Speaker 1>Amber we need to show up for our friends again
<v Speaker 1>because we're getting so comfortable with the I'm not feeling that, like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I'm not in that part of my journey
<v Speaker 1>right now. Like people are always saying those kind of
<v Speaker 1>things and being very selfish about their time. And you're right,
<v Speaker 1>there was a time that we would just completely give
<v Speaker 1>whatever for our friends.
<v Speaker 3>And here's the thing, like, if you're if you're the
<v Speaker 3>birthday girl, why aren't you just being like, well, I'm
<v Speaker 3>still glad you're going to be there.
<v Speaker 2>Janelle, you're just a couple doors down. Yeah, great, you're
<v Speaker 2>still joining your own room.
<v Speaker 4>Great.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, But I think Janelle needs to show up for
<v Speaker 1>her friend and have it's one nice?
<v Speaker 2>Is she can still it's one nice? Doesn't say one?
<v Speaker 1>This reminds me of camping. I can go camping for
<v Speaker 1>one day and I can have the best time in
<v Speaker 1>my life.
<v Speaker 4>It doesn't say one night though in one bedroom though,
<v Speaker 4>like we're getting a three bedroom hotel that we still
<v Speaker 4>have multiple beds. We're only sleeping two to a bed.
<v Speaker 3>But listen, they're not going to be his one room.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry I let that one slip.
<v Speaker 3>But don't you feel like multiple messages are coming in,
<v Speaker 3>like you have your private moments, like like the bathroom.
<v Speaker 3>A lot of people are writing in like, hey, we
<v Speaker 3>need a pooping room.
<v Speaker 2>Like I meant, lobby.
<v Speaker 4>Think have we all not read the book? Everybody poops
<v Speaker 4>Sometimes you don't want to share the room with other
<v Speaker 4>There's like I said, there's gotta be multiple bathrooms. Go
<v Speaker 4>down to the hotel lobby. If you really have to
<v Speaker 4>leave it there.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know that would be my thing.
<v Speaker 3>It's like I want to poop in peace and I
<v Speaker 3>don't want anyone else around me.
<v Speaker 2>I want to lock the door, you.
<v Speaker 4>Know, create an ambient pooping bathroom where one room it's
<v Speaker 4>a designated pooping room. You get matches in there, you
<v Speaker 4>got like a little radio.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, especially with you and all those crossfitters, all the
<v Speaker 3>fiber and stuff you're eating, you guys are going to
<v Speaker 3>destroy that bathroom.
<v Speaker 2>Amber you know, healthy.
<v Speaker 4>Than I.
<v Speaker 1>Think.
<v Speaker 3>I'm mostly shy because I'm one of those guys that
<v Speaker 3>gets completely naked when I.
<v Speaker 2>Have to poop too, so that part of it. You're
<v Speaker 2>both shaking your head. Yet you've heard about those people.
<v Speaker 4>You never understand that. So what happens when you're in
<v Speaker 4>the grocery store.
<v Speaker 2>Until I get home and then I get naked? Amber?
<v Speaker 1>Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 3>All right, Well everyone else hung up after I brought
<v Speaker 3>up pooping, So we'll just leave it with you, CrossFit Champion.
<v Speaker 2>Are you all jacked? Amber?
<v Speaker 1>And I guess maybe a little bit if you do
<v Speaker 1>crossmit the answers yes, if you can say yes like
<v Speaker 1>you've earned that right, Yes.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 3>Send us a picture of your arms, yeah, send us
<v Speaker 3>a picture of you flexing.
<v Speaker 4>All right, all right, sounds good, Amber, Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>For calling in. Appreciate you.
<v Speaker 4>Guy. Amber.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, let the record show I don't actually get completely naked.
<v Speaker 2>I was just joking.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah right, you can't backtrack on that now. You both
<v Speaker 1>shaked your heads like it was.
<v Speaker 2>Just it's just going.
<v Speaker 1>I knew somebody who took their shirt off like it was,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I like literally hung it on the back
<v Speaker 1>of the door.
<v Speaker 2>Even at work. Sometimes it's a work you use the restroom.
<v Speaker 2>You don't want to get your backs. I know a
<v Speaker 2>guy who had to take a shower after every time.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the only time I have to is when I
<v Speaker 1>wear a jumpsuit or the you know, the one piece
<v Speaker 1>right right, there's certain articles of clothing that.
<v Speaker 2>Requires wear men's jumpsuits.
<v Speaker 3>Than that.
<v Speaker 2>We're so off track, but Janelle, thank you for writing in.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know where we're leaving this. Just go and
<v Speaker 2>support your girlfriend. I think you have to.
<v Speaker 1>Again, the fact that it's only one maybe a couple
<v Speaker 1>of days, Max like, I feel like you can do
<v Speaker 1>that for your friend. Yeah, I think we need to
<v Speaker 1>show up for our friends more.
<v Speaker 3>Honestly, all right, I'll let you win today, Katie, because
<v Speaker 3>you're a lady and you can connect.
<v Speaker 2>I'd be like, hell no, I'm get my own rooms.
