<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katy, and Josh one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>There's this invite that Katie received to go meet a baby,
<v Speaker 2>and she was reading it to me on Friday and
<v Speaker 2>I was like, whoa hold up, we got to read
<v Speaker 2>this on the show on Monday because it's just so ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of crazy.
<v Speaker 3>So what's the backstory to this?
<v Speaker 4>So the backstory is the baby when it was born,
<v Speaker 4>this is a little time in the hospital, not much,
<v Speaker 4>but now it's three months old, and so they kind
<v Speaker 4>of just got like a community gathering of people to
<v Speaker 4>meet said baby, right like the families kind of all
<v Speaker 4>meeting the little bundle of joy at once. So there
<v Speaker 4>was an invite kind of sent out to kind of
<v Speaker 4>go over the rules as far as what it's going
<v Speaker 4>to be like meeting little jez A Ray. So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>it just caught me off guard and I was reading
<v Speaker 4>it too, and it was making us laugh because it
<v Speaker 4>is so different now like when I had people meet Zoe, I.
<v Speaker 1>Was like, wash your hands, are you sick? No, You're good? Okay?
<v Speaker 1>The baby, yeah, I.
<v Speaker 2>Kid, like my daughter was a premie, So there was
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of protocol there, a little bit. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's a different than you got a healthy, happy baby.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Our first one was that I remember somebody like coughing
<v Speaker 2>all over them. I mean, system up, that's what you're doing.
<v Speaker 2>Little mucus on his forehead. Somebody got a tissue.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be fine.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, it's changed.
<v Speaker 1>And little Jezirae.
<v Speaker 4>Again, they're just it's their first time parents, so they're
<v Speaker 4>trying to do it right. And that's kind of what
<v Speaker 4>the whole note said, but it was a little extreme,
<v Speaker 4>so let's go over it and we'll see what you
<v Speaker 4>think they're like.
<v Speaker 1>First of all, thank you all so much for taking
<v Speaker 1>the time to meet our new bundle of joy.
<v Speaker 4>Jessiray has been such a blessing to our family.
<v Speaker 1>We cannot wait for you all to meet her.
<v Speaker 4>Excited as she is under three months old, we're trying
<v Speaker 4>to control some of the outside factor from affecting her
<v Speaker 4>at such a young age.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, that makes sense, right, yep?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay.
<v Speaker 4>So they said, since we're having a family get together
<v Speaker 4>to introduce her to everyone, we will be holding a
<v Speaker 4>group sound bath.
<v Speaker 3>Hold up, hold.
<v Speaker 2>Up, okay, hold up, this will be okay, and.
<v Speaker 4>They go on to say this will be about a
<v Speaker 4>two hour meditation that.
<v Speaker 1>We will do the morning before the event.
<v Speaker 4>This will ensure that everyone has a clean slate of
<v Speaker 4>energy upon meeting JESSI rae mega and I get it right,
<v Speaker 4>because you do want it to be calm.
<v Speaker 1>You don't want a bunch.
<v Speaker 2>Of Can you just say, hey, don't drink a lot
<v Speaker 2>of coffee and Red bulls before you come.
<v Speaker 4>I mean the sound bath already is a little extreme,
<v Speaker 4>but it kind of it doesn't surprise me because this
<v Speaker 4>couple is very new age one with the.
<v Speaker 1>Earth type of folks, so it doesn't surprise me that
<v Speaker 1>they want this, but to expect everybody to do nuts.
<v Speaker 4>So they say that they're going to be meeting in
<v Speaker 4>groups of four. So here is the protocol. When it
<v Speaker 4>comes to meeting little jess Array, they say, please pause
<v Speaker 4>briefly when you enter so she can register your presence.
<v Speaker 1>She is not even three months old. I'm her baby.
<v Speaker 4>She doesn't know when she's poopy.
<v Speaker 3>So that they don't want people like me going.
<v Speaker 1>They don't want don't yell at the baby. But they
<v Speaker 1>try and explain.
<v Speaker 4>They're like, try for warm, steady energy versus anything too
<v Speaker 4>high frequency. But if you're feeling stressed in any way,
<v Speaker 4>please take a walk around the block.
<v Speaker 3>Come on, it's really liked.
<v Speaker 1>Some of that energy. They don't want that high frequency stuff.
<v Speaker 2>You can come in as groups of four, yes, and
<v Speaker 2>then when you enter you gotta be calm and relaxed.
<v Speaker 3>Steady energy.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry, steady energy so the baby doesn't react. Yes, yes,
<v Speaker 2>here's why I hand these people. Why are you hanging
<v Speaker 2>out with this?
<v Speaker 1>And I love them? I love them? Okay, so the
<v Speaker 1>next part this makes sense. Please wash your hands thoroughly.
<v Speaker 4>Obviously it's a little baby na, including your thumbs and wrists.
<v Speaker 4>I like how they're telling us how to wash the hands,
<v Speaker 4>but they're saying, then just do a quick second wash
<v Speaker 4>to be safe. Come on, if you touch your phone
<v Speaker 4>after washing, just rewash.
<v Speaker 3>My phone is covered in.
<v Speaker 4>Here's the part that's funny about this, though. Be aware
<v Speaker 4>you will not be holding jezz array. This is just
<v Speaker 4>for safety purpose because.
<v Speaker 2>You don't want the the germs to jump off your
<v Speaker 2>hands into the baby's mouth.
<v Speaker 1>Even in the presence of the baby. Germs are way
<v Speaker 1>too much.
<v Speaker 2>But of all, my germs are pretty chill because of
<v Speaker 2>the sound bad. They're not going to be jumping around
<v Speaker 2>because they're chill from the meditation.
<v Speaker 1>My germs are sleeping. Everything's fine. Yeah, anyway, you will not.
<v Speaker 4>Be holding the baby, but wash all your stuff and
<v Speaker 4>then this is probably okay.
<v Speaker 1>You ready for this. When she's ready, she will initiate.
<v Speaker 1>No need to engage, little Jesu, she will she's not
<v Speaker 1>three months old. Yeah, they say, no need to engage.
<v Speaker 4>She will notice you, and a soft smile is perfect.
<v Speaker 1>Full teeth can feel like a lot. Really, this is.
<v Speaker 3>This is unbelieved.
<v Speaker 1>This is so much. It's so much, it said, speak
<v Speaker 1>in a calm, measured tone. Try to avoid.
<v Speaker 3>Baby, my baby.
<v Speaker 4>Baby too smart for a baby.
<v Speaker 1>So that's kind of where it ends.
<v Speaker 4>Theres one final note, and this one left me a
<v Speaker 4>little uneasy too, just because again she's under three months old.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know how she'd noticed. But they finish it
<v Speaker 4>with sane finally, never turn your back to her. We
<v Speaker 4>don't want her to feel abandoned.
<v Speaker 1>I can't see anybody's full teeth. I can't see it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm so I'm so alone. And they did say, they're like,
<v Speaker 1>we know this seems like a lot.
<v Speaker 4>We are very appreciative of you understanding your process with
<v Speaker 4>our little one. We are new parents, just trying to
<v Speaker 4>figure it out, So thank you for giving us that grace.
<v Speaker 4>Can't wait say y'all love Jordan Taylor and Jessi Rae So.
<v Speaker 1>I know, oh, I know, I have to go, guys.
<v Speaker 2>And the entire time real invite that went out to
<v Speaker 2>newest people, including Katie, to go meet this baby. I
<v Speaker 2>can't groups of four two hour meditation, washing hands, no teeth,
<v Speaker 2>don't turn your back to the baby.
<v Speaker 1>This is like meeting a celebrity, isn't it.
<v Speaker 4>That's where I told you, It's like I'm going to
<v Speaker 4>meet Beyonce or something like.
<v Speaker 1>Don't look the baby directly in the eye.
<v Speaker 2>I can tell you with almost one percent certainty, if
<v Speaker 2>I was involved in this, I would do everything the opposite.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I know you want to go.
<v Speaker 3>In and touch the baby.
<v Speaker 2>I would show the baby my teeth and then I
<v Speaker 2>would turn my back on the baby.
<v Speaker 3>And these people you need new friends.
<v Speaker 4>No, I love them, And again no you don't.
<v Speaker 3>These people.
<v Speaker 4>The thing is is now with the Internet and there
<v Speaker 4>are so many opinions and there are so many ways
<v Speaker 4>to do things.
<v Speaker 1>I think it can get a little convoluted, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like they're.
<v Speaker 3>Just trying to do the right You're defending this I
<v Speaker 3>just hold on.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna turn my back on you. Hold on, I'm
<v Speaker 2>turning my back on you. I can't stand this.
