<v Speaker 1>Friday night, we talked a lot about what happened with
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton, Cody Rhods, and Pat McAfee. And if you
<v Speaker 1>missed what happened on Friday night, fear not, because they
<v Speaker 1>sure did talk a lot about it tonight here on
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw, and they showed you highlights and replays
<v Speaker 1>of what happened. And I think the less set about
<v Speaker 1>that on Friday here tonight the better, But it's a
<v Speaker 1>clean slate. I didn't want to think about what happened
<v Speaker 1>on Friday night. I wanted to see how they were
<v Speaker 1>going to rebound from what overall was one of the
<v Speaker 1>worst television shows of the year on Friday, because even
<v Speaker 1>independent of what we saw with the Pat McAfee stuff
<v Speaker 1>on Friday, SmackDown was fucking terrible on Friday. And the
<v Speaker 1>core thing that it needed to do, as all of
<v Speaker 1>these shows, is get me excited for WrestleMania, and that
<v Speaker 1>show on Friday did not get me excited for WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>So now they were in Houston tonight, hot crowd. This
<v Speaker 1>was a very like, Hey, h Town brought it tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I will say that hot crowd. We don't always get
<v Speaker 1>those here on Monday nights. So it was nice to
<v Speaker 1>have a crowd that actually sounded like they were alive
<v Speaker 1>for a change. But they were given some stuff tonight
<v Speaker 1>to like. Nothing better than the opening of the show.
<v Speaker 1>Because CM Punk came out tonight, his WrestleMania opponent was
<v Speaker 1>not in Houston. Roman Rains was never advertised for the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight, He was not scheduled to be there. He
<v Speaker 1>was not there last time we saw him. He was
<v Speaker 1>put through the announced desk by Punk the previous week.
<v Speaker 1>So CM Punk had to come out here tonight and
<v Speaker 1>go it alone. We got one more raw before WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>We'll get Roman back on the show next week. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>they'll be a contract signing. We were supposed to get
<v Speaker 1>a contract signing tonight for a different match, and that
<v Speaker 1>didn't work out too well. CM Punk had one job,
<v Speaker 1>come out tonight and get us excited to see him
<v Speaker 1>and Roman reigns one on one at WrestleMania. People are
<v Speaker 1>already excited. Some people may not be. That's all he
<v Speaker 1>had to do. CM Punk went out there tonight in Houston,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean, look, some people may disagree with me.
<v Speaker 1>They may think it's hyperbolic or whatever. He went out
<v Speaker 1>there tonight and cut a more explosive promo than he
<v Speaker 1>did with the so called pipe bomb that he dropped
<v Speaker 1>in twenty eleven talking about bombs. This promo tonight was
<v Speaker 1>far more explosive and the debris, the debris field was
<v Speaker 1>a lot wider than the one that we had back
<v Speaker 1>in twenty eleven because he took aim at a lot
<v Speaker 1>of different people. No one was safe. Roman Reigns was
<v Speaker 1>not safe. Roman Reigns got torched by cmpunk tonight. Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns was not safe. The Rock was not safe. Vince
<v Speaker 1>McMahon was not safe. Pat magafee was not safe. Ari
<v Speaker 1>Emanuel was not safe. Tko was not safe. Ticket prices
<v Speaker 1>were not safe. If you want to get a sense
<v Speaker 1>of the state of WWE right now, okay, I want
<v Speaker 1>you to think about this. We win from a promo
<v Speaker 1>on Friday Night where Pat McAfee came out cut this
<v Speaker 1>work shoot promo and basically talked about the product sucks,
<v Speaker 1>the champion sucks. Ticket prices, well, not ticket price, but
<v Speaker 1>tickets are not sold out for the biggest show of
<v Speaker 1>the year, right The product sucks, the talent sucks, they're
<v Speaker 1>too small, they're not exciting. The Champions of corporate stooge.
<v Speaker 1>Everything's terrible. Things used to be so much better, right,
<v Speaker 1>This is the hell of a promo. And we go
<v Speaker 1>from that to Raw tonight, where we have CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>literally in the middle of the ring. Actually he was
<v Speaker 1>outside the ring, but he's on live television on Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Raw shouting lower the ticket prices. This is the
<v Speaker 1>state of where we are right now in WWE, where
<v Speaker 1>you have talent that is actively going out there, be
<v Speaker 1>it on their own or being told to. Punk gets
<v Speaker 1>a lot of freedom, So I wouldn't be surprised if
<v Speaker 1>he decided, Hey, you know what I'm gonna do. They
<v Speaker 1>told me to go out there and shoot, okay, we'll
<v Speaker 1>make up. We'll make up something about ticket prices. He's
<v Speaker 1>out there saying lower the ticket prices. He's admitting on
<v Speaker 1>television that they have priced their own fans out of
<v Speaker 1>their shows. And this is one of the reasons why
<v Speaker 1>they don't sell out as much as they used to,
<v Speaker 1>why WrestleMania is nowhere close to sold out. And the
<v Speaker 1>only way any of that makes any sense, and the
<v Speaker 1>only way any of that is acceptable is if it's
<v Speaker 1>setting up TKO actually lowering prices. So if the end
<v Speaker 1>result of all of this is that they realize they
<v Speaker 1>fucked up and they have priced out a good portion
<v Speaker 1>of their fan base and they're going to make up
<v Speaker 1>for it by actually lowering prices, great, Great. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think that's going to happen, though, which makes me wonder
<v Speaker 1>as I sit here, like, what's the point of any
<v Speaker 1>of this. If this man is going to go out
<v Speaker 1>there and admit that ticket prices are outrageous and they're
<v Speaker 1>actually not going to do anything to fix the problem.
<v Speaker 1>We are in a very weird place right now when
<v Speaker 1>it comes to WWE Creative and what we are seeing
<v Speaker 1>on television. But I will say this, it made for
<v Speaker 1>one hell of an entertaining promo. And by the way,
<v Speaker 1>all the names that I mentioned where he went after
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns and Pat McAfee and you know, these references
<v Speaker 1>to Vince McMahon and Ari Emmanuel. We even got a
<v Speaker 1>veiled reference to Chris Benoit in this promo from cmpunk.
<v Speaker 1>He left no stone unturned and he was on his
<v Speaker 1>A game. The camera was right up there in his face.
<v Speaker 1>He never broke stride, he never missed a beat. He
<v Speaker 1>was feeling. I wouldn't be surprised if he had those
<v Speaker 1>goosebumps up and down his arms. He was in the
<v Speaker 1>zone tonight. And that's the kind of promo that I
<v Speaker 1>want to see out of Cmpunk. I don't want cm
<v Speaker 1>Punk to come out there and cut the same old,
<v Speaker 1>same ole. I don't want him to come out here
<v Speaker 1>and talk about how he respects his opponent. I don't
<v Speaker 1>wanted to come out here and say is it great
<v Speaker 1>to be alive on a Monday night? Right? This is
<v Speaker 1>what cmpunk made his name on, going out there and
<v Speaker 1>tearing down as many people as he possibly can in
<v Speaker 1>the most entertaining way possible. And that's what we got
<v Speaker 1>here on this show tonight. That's why I say more
<v Speaker 1>explosive than the original pipeon. The original pipeon was a
<v Speaker 1>lot more subdued than what we got from him tonight.
<v Speaker 1>So the opening of the show I thought was fantastic.
<v Speaker 1>And that is how you can really I mean you
<v Speaker 1>talk about talking people into the buildings. That's the kind
<v Speaker 1>of promo that will talk people into the arenas. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if this will be successful, this one promo
<v Speaker 1>will be successful when it comes to WrestleMania, but that's
<v Speaker 1>the sort of thing that we need to see more
<v Speaker 1>of on the show. Just give cmpunk a reason to
<v Speaker 1>actually feel like, hey, this guy might be aggravated. Legitimately,
<v Speaker 1>he might have some legitimate gripes, and if they let
<v Speaker 1>him go out there and do his thing, usually what
<v Speaker 1>you end up with is television gold. And that is
<v Speaker 1>what we got tonight here from cmpunk. Best promo that
<v Speaker 1>he's cut since he came back to WWE, and honestly,
<v Speaker 1>one of the best promos I've ever heard him cut,
<v Speaker 1>even going back to his original run in the company.
<v Speaker 1>That's how great that promo was. Now, you may not
<v Speaker 1>be a fan of the substance of some of it. Again,
<v Speaker 1>we've talked about the McAfee Stoff talked about it on
<v Speaker 1>the sound off and Friday Night. You know my thoughts
<v Speaker 1>on that, My thoughts haven't changed since then. But he
<v Speaker 1>certainly took it and turned it into an entertaining opening
<v Speaker 1>segment tonight. That was the highlight, that was the peak
<v Speaker 1>of the show. But that was not the only thing
<v Speaker 1>that happened on this show. The other thing I was
<v Speaker 1>looking for was an explanation why did Gunther attack seth
<v Speaker 1>Rollins on the show last week? Very happy that they
<v Speaker 1>found a role for him on the WrestleMania car because
<v Speaker 1>it was getting ridiculous, like where the fuck is this guy?
<v Speaker 1>So when I saw him last week, even though it
<v Speaker 1>didn't make any sense, I was like, thank god, we
<v Speaker 1>have gun Through on the show. But now they have
<v Speaker 1>to fill in the blanks right now, they have to
<v Speaker 1>let us know why. We saw what happened, now give
<v Speaker 1>us the why. And they didn't really do that tonight. Instead,
<v Speaker 1>what they did was, and this is what I thought
<v Speaker 1>they might do. We had an interaction tonight with Gunther
<v Speaker 1>and Paul Hayman where the gist of it was, there's
<v Speaker 1>something that you will owe me down the road that
<v Speaker 1>is very very clearly, very important to Gunther. There's an
<v Speaker 1>IOU essentially involved here. So what they're doing is they're
<v Speaker 1>rehashing the favor angle from last year. They seem to
<v Speaker 1>be doing a lot of rehashing Cody getting kicked in
<v Speaker 1>the dick, all the pull apart brawls, the stuff with
<v Speaker 1>the celebrity involvement in one of the WrestleMania made events,
<v Speaker 1>the IOU or the favor with Paul Hayman. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you know, stop me if you've heard this before, but
<v Speaker 1>it's the most logical explanation for why Gunther would involve
<v Speaker 1>himself in business that really he has no business being
<v Speaker 1>involved in. Why would he attack Seth Rollins, Why would
<v Speaker 1>he do a solid for Paul Hayman or for the Vision.
<v Speaker 1>There's only one reason that really makes sense, And without
<v Speaker 1>even saying the words, I think they basically told you
<v Speaker 1>tonight why. They gave you the why without actually telling
<v Speaker 1>you the why, in my opinion, and we'll get into
<v Speaker 1>what that was. We had a new WrestleMania match made tonight,
<v Speaker 1>which has been rumored, and I think based on what
<v Speaker 1>we saw last week, seemed pretty clear we were heading
<v Speaker 1>in this direction. La Knight po La Night. La Night
<v Speaker 1>has not had a good month. La Knight has not
<v Speaker 1>had a good year, and it didn't get any better
<v Speaker 1>tonight because La Knight, his first match back, took the
<v Speaker 1>l But he's got a WrestleMania match. It's going to
<v Speaker 1>be La Knight and the USOS taking on the Vision,
<v Speaker 1>what's left of the Vision, and I show speed. He
<v Speaker 1>will officially have what I believe would be his first
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania match, his first match of any kind really since
<v Speaker 1>he got speared at the Royal Rumble last year by
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker, so they made that official tonight. And in
<v Speaker 1>addition to that, we have a new participant in the
<v Speaker 1>ladder match for the Men's Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. We
<v Speaker 1>knew there were five men involved, including the champion, pent
<v Speaker 1>there has been a sixth spot added to that match,
<v Speaker 1>so it will be a six pack challenge basically for
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental title, and we will get into who is
<v Speaker 1>going to be occupying that sixth spot. I enjoyed this
<v Speaker 1>show a lot more than I did the show on
<v Speaker 1>Friday Night. It was not a great show, but it
<v Speaker 1>did feel like there was more going on. There was
<v Speaker 1>more to be excited about, especially the opening segment and
<v Speaker 1>the stuff in the middle. It was hit or miss.
<v Speaker 1>There was some stuff I didn't care for. There was
<v Speaker 1>some stuff that I thought was fine and did what
<v Speaker 1>it had to do to kind of move things along
<v Speaker 1>as we in some cases limp with some of these
<v Speaker 1>matches towards WrestleMania. We certainly got a big demon tease
<v Speaker 1>for the Finn Balor and Dominic mysterio and speaking of
<v Speaker 1>things that they told you without actually telling you, the
<v Speaker 1>Demon is coming back at WRESTLEMANI so for those of
<v Speaker 1>you who were big fans of the Demon, even though
<v Speaker 1>the Demon died many years ago, you should be very excited.
<v Speaker 1>The Demon is coming back, and the Demon is likely
<v Speaker 1>going to get something that he has not gotten a
<v Speaker 1>very long time, many years. In fact, I think he's
<v Speaker 1>in a pretty good position to actually get a win.
<v Speaker 1>When was the last time the Demon won? I don't
<v Speaker 1>even know. Last time we saw the Demon at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>he lost, and then we all know what happened to
<v Speaker 1>the Demon before that. I couldn't even tell you the
<v Speaker 1>last time the Demon actually won a match. So anyway,
<v Speaker 1>we're going to get into that, and we're going to
<v Speaker 1>get into a very scary segment later in the show.
<v Speaker 1>Is a quick segment. It was a segment in the
<v Speaker 1>back and it was a segment where I am really
<v Speaker 1>hoping that nobody got hurt. But man, it did not
<v Speaker 1>look good. It did not sound good. Yeah, that noise
<v Speaker 1>you just heard those were two heads colliding and actually
<v Speaker 1>two faces colliding in a backstage segment. Anyway, this is
<v Speaker 1>your Monday Night Raw review. It is April sixth, twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six, so it's my half birthday. I am the
<v Speaker 1>Solemn Monster. Thank you very much for hanging out with me,
<v Speaker 1>all sixteen hundred of you and counting here on a
<v Speaker 1>Monday night. I could see there's a lot of interest
<v Speaker 1>in what went down here on this show, So we're
<v Speaker 1>going to talk through it all like and subscribe we are.
<v Speaker 1>We've already blown past ninety one three hundreds, so the
<v Speaker 1>march to ninety two thousand subscribers is underway. Help me
<v Speaker 1>get there that much faster. Super chats are open. You
<v Speaker 1>will see them popping up on your screen periodically. We
<v Speaker 1>have a bonus goal going as well, where we will
<v Speaker 1>do a double dose of a little something we call
<v Speaker 1>be the Booker around here. Actually, we're going to spin
<v Speaker 1>the wheel as well, so we'll bring that up here.
<v Speaker 1>See what our likes goal is for the stream, but
<v Speaker 1>go ahead and hit that thumbs up. We'll get there
<v Speaker 1>that much quicker. Let's find out what it is before
<v Speaker 1>we go any further. All right, five hundred and thirty likes,
<v Speaker 1>that is the minimum goal that we need to get
<v Speaker 1>to tonight. We can do that. Come on, five hundred
<v Speaker 1>and thirty. We have almost sixteen hundred people in counting
<v Speaker 1>in here. We can do that, So go ahead and
<v Speaker 1>hit the like button and we'll check in on that
<v Speaker 1>as we go along. Here. By the way, if you
<v Speaker 1>missed it, episode nine point fifty eight of the sound Off,
<v Speaker 1>number two on the episode charts today only behind mister
<v Speaker 1>Cornett number two on Apple Podcasts all wrestling shows across
<v Speaker 1>the United States. So thank you for that and all
<v Speaker 1>the kind feedback on the podcast. Now, last week we
<v Speaker 1>saw CM Punk get his revenge on Roman Reigns by
<v Speaker 1>power bombing him through the announced desk, the same thing
<v Speaker 1>that Roman did to him the previous week. And so
<v Speaker 1>this week CM Punk the World heavyweight champion. He opened
<v Speaker 1>the show and he came down to the ring. He
<v Speaker 1>didn't look like he was in a very good mood,
<v Speaker 1>sat down cross legged in the ring. We've seen this
<v Speaker 1>world heavyweight title over his shoulder. Who wanted to address
<v Speaker 1>the people, and Punk said that Houston is a wrestling town.
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot of history here, which is very true.
<v Speaker 1>Houston is a wrestling city. I believe that's where Bruce
<v Speaker 1>got his start working for Paul Bosh. All goes back
<v Speaker 1>to Houston. Yeah, you mentioned Paul Bosh as well, and
<v Speaker 1>Paul Bosh got a nice little little pop there from
<v Speaker 1>the crowd, said He has a lot of great moments here,
<v Speaker 1>some things that were supposed to happen that haunt him
<v Speaker 1>to this day. And this is what I was getting
<v Speaker 1>out before when I talked about there being a vague
<v Speaker 1>reference to Chris Benoa. So what that was a reference to.
<v Speaker 1>I assume Ceampunk was supposed to wrestle Chris Benoit the
<v Speaker 1>weekend of the Benoit murder suicide. They were supposed to
<v Speaker 1>have a match for the ECW title a vengeance in
<v Speaker 1>June of two thousand and seven. Ben Watt didn't show
<v Speaker 1>up for that pay per view. Now we know why
<v Speaker 1>it ended up being Cmpunk. I believe in John Morrison
<v Speaker 1>Marrison won the ECW title. The belief is that Punk
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to win the title that night from ben
<v Speaker 1>Wah and that match never happened. So when he talks
<v Speaker 1>about things that were supposed to happen that haunt him
<v Speaker 1>to this day, that is what that is in reference to.
<v Speaker 1>Unless something else horrible happened to him in Houston that
<v Speaker 1>I'm unaware of. So he said, this is Paul Bosch territory,
<v Speaker 1>and he loves to hear about the old timers. He
<v Speaker 1>can't help but compare himself to the old timers and
<v Speaker 1>wonder what they would do in times like these. What
<v Speaker 1>would Harley Race do? I'll tell you I could tell
<v Speaker 1>you what Harley. I didn't know Harley Race personally, but
<v Speaker 1>I could tell you that if Pat McAfee was going
<v Speaker 1>around on television talking about how terrible business was and
<v Speaker 1>how terrible the product was and we can't sell out,
<v Speaker 1>we can't do this, we can't do that, I think
<v Speaker 1>Harley Race would have a word with him. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think that would end well for Pat McAfee. I think
<v Speaker 1>Harley Race would be appalled, frankly by the current product.
<v Speaker 1>So the important things happened when We're awake and CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk is awake and he hits the catchphrase, is it
<v Speaker 1>great to be alive? On a Monday night? Here in Houston, Texas,
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns is not here tonight. Fans didn't like hearing that. Now,
<v Speaker 1>there were parts of this promo here where Punk was
<v Speaker 1>being booed. They were chanting OTC, they were giving him
<v Speaker 1>the what chant at one point, which he looked kind
<v Speaker 1>of annoyed. Was trying to talk through it. I mean
<v Speaker 1>it would annoy me too. It's just as a wrestler,
<v Speaker 1>it has to be the bane of your existence. It
<v Speaker 1>serves no purpose. It's the dumbest chant. I mean, seriously,
<v Speaker 1>you talk about low IQ, just absolute dumber than dumb.
<v Speaker 1>That's the what chant. So he was able to shake
<v Speaker 1>that off pretty quickly here, but he said two weeks ago,
<v Speaker 1>with help from his cousin's, Roman put Punk through the
<v Speaker 1>announced desk. Punk couldn't wait to get to Madison Square
<v Speaker 1>Garden last week and he got his receipt. Roman hates him,
<v Speaker 1>he says, and he says good. He won't trade his
<v Speaker 1>authenticity for approval. Being hated by losers is the price
<v Speaker 1>he pays for not being one of them. Punk showed up.
<v Speaker 1>He says, he's an old man, old but not weak.
<v Speaker 1>He needs to explain why he hates Roman reigns. And
<v Speaker 1>to do this he climbed up on top of the
<v Speaker 1>announced desk and he took his jacket off, so you
<v Speaker 1>know that he means business. Okay, when the jacket comes off,
<v Speaker 1>it's time to get down to brass tacks. WrestleMania is
<v Speaker 1>the biggest show of the year. His tools are self
<v Speaker 1>made and sharpened by self belief, hard work and spite.
<v Speaker 1>Roman's tools are store bought hand delivered and plastic. Punk
<v Speaker 1>understands why TKO sends Roman to Jimmy Fallon. He's manu feted.
<v Speaker 1>You never know what Punk might say. It's a lot
<v Speaker 1>easier to send Roman Reigns out to do media like that.
<v Speaker 1>Punk can film a bunch of shows and always shows up,
<v Speaker 1>but Roman uses it as a crutch to not be there.
<v Speaker 1>Roman shows up late, he leaves early. He puffs his
<v Speaker 1>chest out like he's the Rock, like he's Dwayne. At
<v Speaker 1>least the Rock is a Hollywood superstar, or was a
<v Speaker 1>Hollywood superstar. Never misses a chance to get a shot
<v Speaker 1>in at the Rock, right remember after WrestleMania last year,
<v Speaker 1>the bald fraud call him a bald fraud, and now
<v Speaker 1>he's mocking him not being the Hollywood sensation that he
<v Speaker 1>used to be. I think he takes glee in taking
<v Speaker 1>shots at the Rock whenever he has the chance to
<v Speaker 1>do so, find yourself someone in life to love the
<v Speaker 1>way that Cmpunk hates on the Rock. So he says
<v Speaker 1>he was a Hollywood superstar, just like Roman was a champion.
<v Speaker 1>And that story is long over. So he says, you
<v Speaker 1>know he mentioned a Rock as the bloated cousin being
<v Speaker 1>on the board mentions Roman's dad was a pro wrestler
<v Speaker 1>that got him a job because he sucked at football.
<v Speaker 1>I think he was talking about Roman with that Craig.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he was still talking about the Rock. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I guess that could apply to either one of them.
<v Speaker 1>They both played football. Yes, the Rock, that's right, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>the Rock is his. The Rock is to cm Punk
<v Speaker 1>as Disco Inferno is to Cody Rhoads. That is a
<v Speaker 1>great analogy and very accurate. Punk said he paid his
<v Speaker 1>dues and he earned everything. Meanwhile, he called Roman a
<v Speaker 1>nepo baby who ate dog food for a weird old man.
<v Speaker 1>If I don't hear the phrase nepo baby ever again
<v Speaker 1>on TV, it won't be a day two soon. I
<v Speaker 1>could do without any more Nepo baby references. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like we get too many of these. They're like pull
<v Speaker 1>apart brawls. He said that weird old man expected Punk
<v Speaker 1>to take everything and smile, but Punk was able to
<v Speaker 1>leave with his dignity because he had fu money. Roman
<v Speaker 1>can't control him like he controls his own family. He said,
<v Speaker 1>I can gleefully stand on the bridge and blow it
<v Speaker 1>up because bitch, I know how to swim, which is
<v Speaker 1>a great line. Punk dropped down from the table. He said,
<v Speaker 1>people might think he's done, but everybody's getting it tonight.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't done yet. He turned his attention to Pat Magafee.
<v Speaker 1>I got a good laugh out of that one. I
<v Speaker 1>think that might have gone over some people's heads. But
<v Speaker 1>he was talking about Pat mgafee now. He called him
<v Speaker 1>the buggy whipped armed hillbilly. Pat wrote a check that
<v Speaker 1>his ass can't cash. Pat should call that agent of
<v Speaker 1>his and tell him to lower the ticket prices. Pat's
<v Speaker 1>got a good receipt coming to him. Punk wants the
<v Speaker 1>ticket prices lowered because he wants all the families to
<v Speaker 1>come and see him kick Roman's ass because he see
<v Speaker 1>him Punk and he approved this message, and he threw
<v Speaker 1>down the microphone. He climbed into the crowd to pose
<v Speaker 1>with his people. Uh wow, he didn't just blow up
<v Speaker 1>the bridge. He knew the whole fucking thing. That's what
<v Speaker 1>he did tonight. He was on point. He was on
<v Speaker 1>a mission out there, and he was feeling it, and
<v Speaker 1>the fans were feeling it too, you know. Even though
<v Speaker 1>again there was some booze there at the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the promo, and there was some what chance as he
<v Speaker 1>went deeper and deeper and he got more and more
<v Speaker 1>into it. Yeah, it's like warming up the car in
<v Speaker 1>the winter. You gotta sit there and give it a
<v Speaker 1>few minutes, but once it's all warm and all revved up,
<v Speaker 1>you're ready to go. That was CM Punk here in
<v Speaker 1>this segment, and they were with him every step of
<v Speaker 1>the way there towards the end, and they were popping
<v Speaker 1>off for all the big comments and all the big
<v Speaker 1>burns and everything like that. This was a classic CM
<v Speaker 1>And I hate to use the word because it is
<v Speaker 1>It is kind of cringey at this point and it's
<v Speaker 1>overused and everything, but it's the word that's associated with
<v Speaker 1>punk when it comes to these promos, right the pipe bomb.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he had his own version of the pipe
<v Speaker 1>bomb tonight, and I would argue that this one was
<v Speaker 1>more explosive than the original. The original was more impactful.
<v Speaker 1>When we look back on the CM punk promos or
<v Speaker 1>the great promos in WWE history, the pipe bomb is
<v Speaker 1>up there because again it left the mark. People talk
<v Speaker 1>about it to this day. It was a seminal moment
<v Speaker 1>for him in his career. I look at Cmpunk's career
<v Speaker 1>in WWE. Honestly, you talk about like BC and AD
<v Speaker 1>before and after, pre impost, the dividing line there is
<v Speaker 1>the pipe bomb promo, because it really wasn't until that
<v Speaker 1>night in Las Vegas. I'm pretty sure it was in
<v Speaker 1>Las Vegas. I think it was the Thomas and Max Center.
<v Speaker 1>When he sat on that stage and he cut that promo,
<v Speaker 1>people looked at him differently. People who maybe didn't know
<v Speaker 1>much about him, who maybe didn't see his Ring of
<v Speaker 1>honor work, weren't really sold on cmpunk. And I'm not
<v Speaker 1>even just talking about fans. I'm talking about people in
<v Speaker 1>the company. People in WWE who weren't sold on him
<v Speaker 1>before that were sold on him after that, and the
<v Speaker 1>fans reacted to him differently. He went from being a
<v Speaker 1>guy on the roster who happened to be a world
<v Speaker 1>champion at one point for a brief period of time
<v Speaker 1>to being a main event player. So that promo will
<v Speaker 1>always be like his all time promo. But I'm talking
<v Speaker 1>in terms of the substance of what he was able
<v Speaker 1>to kind of get into here and just how fired
<v Speaker 1>up and I don't know angry is the right word,
<v Speaker 1>but this promo top that one just in terms of
<v Speaker 1>the actual source material. I thought this was great. And also,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the thing about it is that blurring the lines,
<v Speaker 1>you know, between fantasy and reality. The great ones are
<v Speaker 1>able to do it in just like a masterful way
<v Speaker 1>to really make you believe and make you wonder, hey,
<v Speaker 1>how much of this was real and how much of
<v Speaker 1>this was manufactured? And Punk is one of those guys
<v Speaker 1>who's very good at that he does. He mentioned the
<v Speaker 1>word authenticity. There are very few people in wrestling that
<v Speaker 1>I could think of at this moment right now who
<v Speaker 1>have that level of authenticity with a microphone in their
<v Speaker 1>hand where you can listen to what they say and
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't feel fake and phony and forced and rehearsed
<v Speaker 1>and memorized, and you know like they're just their heart's
<v Speaker 1>not into it. They're just reading something, or it's just
<v Speaker 1>they're trying to get something going for a program or something.
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk is one of those people. CM Punk, Kevin Owens, MJF.
<v Speaker 1>Who else. I'm sure there are a couple of others,
<v Speaker 1>but there are very few people I would put in
<v Speaker 1>that category today, modern day, right now, in wrestling any
<v Speaker 1>any promotion. Very few people you could probably count them
<v Speaker 1>all in one hand, so blurring the lines between fantasy
<v Speaker 1>and reality, it can be very effective. And you know,
<v Speaker 1>one of the things about a eight cm punk promo
<v Speaker 1>is you know that works so well? Is that whole idea,
<v Speaker 1>It's that whole aspect. You get the sense with punk though,
<v Speaker 1>especially listening to some of the comments he made tonight,
<v Speaker 1>that it is more reality than fantasy. So it's not
<v Speaker 1>hard for him to come up with this material. Even
<v Speaker 1>if they go to him and say, hey, mention this.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they went to him and said, hey,
<v Speaker 1>mention that the ticket prices are too high. I can't
<v Speaker 1>imagine that the writer sat in the writer's room or
<v Speaker 1>Triple H would have gone to him and say, hey,
<v Speaker 1>come here for a second. You know what you should
<v Speaker 1>do tonight. You should mention that our ticket prices are
<v Speaker 1>absurdly high. Like, go ahead and mention that in your promo.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they did. I think it's more likely they sort
<v Speaker 1>of gave him cart planche, like here's what we're kind
<v Speaker 1>of going for here, and you come up with the
<v Speaker 1>source material whatever you think is appropriate, and go out
<v Speaker 1>there and just speak your mind. Okay, you give him
<v Speaker 1>the green light, he's gonna go out there and tell
<v Speaker 1>you how he really feels. That's one thing about punk.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have to worry about whether you agree with
<v Speaker 1>it or not. He's going to go out there and
<v Speaker 1>tell you how he feels. And I get the sense
<v Speaker 1>that what he was saying out there, he didn't really
<v Speaker 1>have to fake it. He didn't have to sit there
<v Speaker 1>and go, gee, I wonder what I want to talk
<v Speaker 1>about tonight. Right, there are certain things that are on
<v Speaker 1>his mind that probably bother him and aggravate him where
<v Speaker 1>he really honestly believes like these ticket prices are absolutely
<v Speaker 1>fucking ridiculous, as I'm sure many of the wrestlers feel.
<v Speaker 1>I think Randy Orton even a couple of years ago
<v Speaker 1>made that comment, right, wasn't he walking through the crowd
<v Speaker 1>or outside the building? Somebody caught him on camera agreeing,
<v Speaker 1>like these prices are insane. It's a joke at this point,
<v Speaker 1>except it's not funny because they have priced out a
<v Speaker 1>lot of families. They have priced out a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the people that have been giving them money and supporting
<v Speaker 1>them and coming to the shows for so long. That's
<v Speaker 1>one of the reasons why when we sit here and
<v Speaker 1>talk about this show every single week, right, Houston tonight
<v Speaker 1>was great, But in most cities on most weeks these days,
<v Speaker 1>you watch Monday Night Raw and it's like a fucking
<v Speaker 1>funeral parlor. Now, they're not really given a lot of
<v Speaker 1>great stuff on a week to week basis. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't really blame the crowds necessarily for it, but there
<v Speaker 1>is a change that has occurred in these crowds where
<v Speaker 1>you are seeing. It has an effect on how loud
<v Speaker 1>and how invested they are in what they are seeing.
<v Speaker 1>And this is just going to continue now. Again, like
<v Speaker 1>I said, if the idea here was to draw attention
<v Speaker 1>to the fact that ticket prices were ridiculously crazy, and
<v Speaker 1>then they can make Punk look like a hero because
<v Speaker 1>all of a sudden, ticket prices are going to start
<v Speaker 1>to come down a little bit great, I don't believe
<v Speaker 1>that's the case, though. I don't believe there's some sort
<v Speaker 1>of plan where it's like, go talk about it and
<v Speaker 1>then tomorrow you know, prices are going to get slashed.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so, And that's what it's so crazy
<v Speaker 1>about it to me. Yeah, again, maybe he went out
<v Speaker 1>there and they didn't quite know he was going to
<v Speaker 1>mention the ticket price aspect, but you're having talent go
<v Speaker 1>out on your own show and admit that you are
<v Speaker 1>fucking gouging people. This is where we are in WWE
<v Speaker 1>right now. That's how bad things have gotten When it
<v Speaker 1>comes to that, it's embarrassing. I wouldn't be on television
<v Speaker 1>celebrating this and drawing attention to this. I'd be embarrassed.
<v Speaker 1>I'd be ashamed. But it's kind of like when they
<v Speaker 1>make the announcements at some of these international shows and
<v Speaker 1>they'll have to ring announcer or somebody go out there
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and say, hey, guess what, we just
<v Speaker 1>set the new Gate record, and they announce this to
<v Speaker 1>the crowd. It's one thing to announce an attendance record,
<v Speaker 1>but to announce a Gate record, all you're doing is
<v Speaker 1>just telling people like, hey, guess what, you know, we
<v Speaker 1>just charge you three times as much as we normally
<v Speaker 1>would and because of that, we just set the new
<v Speaker 1>Gate record. Oh yay, yay. It's absurd. They insult their
<v Speaker 1>audience over and over and over again and expect them
<v Speaker 1>to take it. And why not, right because people do
<v Speaker 1>still buy tickets, but clearly they're not buying tickets in
<v Speaker 1>the same way they were a year ago, two years ago,
<v Speaker 1>three years ago. If this were to lead to actual change,
<v Speaker 1>I think that's fantastic. But I don't honestly believe that's
<v Speaker 1>going to happen. So I'm left to wonder at the
<v Speaker 1>end of all this, what is the point same thing
<v Speaker 1>with the McAfee stuff on Friday. You're drawing attention to stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Are things going to really change coming out of WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>in a meaningful way? WrestleMania is one thing. WrestleMania is
<v Speaker 1>less than two weeks away. But when you have somebody
<v Speaker 1>going out there and saying the product sucks, we need
<v Speaker 1>to go back to the attitude era and guys that
<v Speaker 1>look like the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin and
<v Speaker 1>like we got to go back to that. Okay, well
<v Speaker 1>are you going back to that? Cause if you're not,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you would be saying these things
<v Speaker 1>and drawing attention to these things if it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be business as usual after Las Vegvegas next weekend. I
<v Speaker 1>don't really understand that. But again, as far as the
<v Speaker 1>promo that we got here from Punk, Hey, it was
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a promo and I think it was
<v Speaker 1>the kind of promo that we needed to hear he
<v Speaker 1>murdered Roman reigns Now, Roman was not there to defend himself.
<v Speaker 1>He'll have that opportunity next week. And I honestly there's
<v Speaker 1>no way Roman is much better as a talker than
<v Speaker 1>he was five six years ago. But there's no way
<v Speaker 1>that Roman is going to be able to come back
<v Speaker 1>at Punk in the way that Punk came at him
<v Speaker 1>because Roman Rains is not CM punk on the microphone.
<v Speaker 1>He's not CM punk. Very few people are. But as
<v Speaker 1>good as Roman may be, he ain't no CM punk.
<v Speaker 1>So CM Punk I thought absolutely murdered him on the
<v Speaker 1>mic tonight. It's the second week in a row. I
<v Speaker 1>will point out to you that we've had references to
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon here on the show without actually saying his name.
<v Speaker 1>Last week it was Stephanie McMahon and co Roads in
<v Speaker 1>their segment when Cody alluded to Vince, and so here
<v Speaker 1>we had Punk doing the same thing, and I could
<v Speaker 1>do without getting any sort of references on the current
<v Speaker 1>shows to Vince McMahon. I'm more than happy to go
<v Speaker 1>watch some stuff on the vault. Vince is all over
<v Speaker 1>that stuff. That's fine with me. I have no issue
<v Speaker 1>with that, But I don't really need to hear him
<v Speaker 1>even alluded to on these shows, especially after I sat
<v Speaker 1>here for the podcast the other day and I was
<v Speaker 1>reading through some of the new stuff and the Janelle
<v Speaker 1>Grant stuff, and yeah, I don't really need to be
<v Speaker 1>hearing about that. Sick fuck. So I I certainly don't
<v Speaker 1>think it's leading to anything. You better not be, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we don't need to be talking about Vince anyway. Great
<v Speaker 1>opening segment, This is where the show peaked. Best thing
<v Speaker 1>on the entire show. So Michael Cole and Corey Graves,
<v Speaker 1>we went back to them in ringside and they were
<v Speaker 1>talking about all of the crazy celebrities, all the celebrity
<v Speaker 1>involved that we have at WrestleMania this year. Oh yes,
<v Speaker 1>we're well aware. We are well aware, and they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to get Tom Brady. I don't know if they will,
<v Speaker 1>but they're certainly trying. So they were talking about this
<v Speaker 1>because they brought up I show speed and all of
<v Speaker 1>the recent developments. If you remember last week, he accidentally
<v Speaker 1>hit La Knight in the face with the brass knucks.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't mean to do it, didn't mean to do it.
<v Speaker 1>So then they replay the angle, and they're doing angles
<v Speaker 1>now from the homes of influencers. Because I Show Speed
<v Speaker 1>was at home. He was doing a stream on YouTube
<v Speaker 1>and La Knight walked into his house, walked into the
<v Speaker 1>room where he was streaming, and it ended with him
<v Speaker 1>grabbing I Show Speed and throwing him into his setup.
<v Speaker 1>It would be the equal if La Knight was to
<v Speaker 1>barge into this room here. He would be standing behind
<v Speaker 1>me and throw me into that camera. First of all,
<v Speaker 1>that would be amazing, and that will never ever happen,
<v Speaker 1>not with the dead bolt I have on this thing here,
<v Speaker 1>because as soon as I saw what happened with I
<v Speaker 1>Show Speed, I had all the locks changed so you
<v Speaker 1>ain't getting in. But it was great. I have to admit.
<v Speaker 1>I think of all the celebrities that we've had so
<v Speaker 1>far in this build to WrestleMania, the one who annoys
<v Speaker 1>me the least and I really don't mind him being involved,
<v Speaker 1>is I Show Speed. Speed is one of those guys.
<v Speaker 1>Not to say Jelly Roll doesn't get it. He does,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't have anything against jelly Roll, but my god,
<v Speaker 1>I mean there were some smackdowns where he had fucking
<v Speaker 1>four segments on the show. Get the fuck off my TV.
<v Speaker 1>I show Speed. He's not like cluttering the entire show.
<v Speaker 1>I think I find him entertaining. He's athletic. He's in
<v Speaker 1>a six man tag at WrestleMania. You know, he's not
<v Speaker 1>in a singles match. He'll be hidden away just enough
<v Speaker 1>to where he's not overexposed. And I thought the angle
<v Speaker 1>with the streaming stuff What Night was actually very well done,
<v Speaker 1>So I really don't mind that so much. It's just
<v Speaker 1>when you have so many celebrities all at once, feels
<v Speaker 1>like celebrity Mania with some wrestlers mixed in. It's not WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>It's celebrity Mania featuring some WWE stars. That's what it
<v Speaker 1>feels like. This year, you got four or five, six
<v Speaker 1>different people. It's ridiculous. If they were to show up
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania and wave on camera, you could show twenty
<v Speaker 1>different celebrities. That's fine, but like they're involved in angles
<v Speaker 1>and matches and they've got multiple segments on the shows,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, my god, what the fuck are we
<v Speaker 1>doing here? What are we doing? Speed is the one
<v Speaker 1>that I don't mind. So anyway, we see Speed walking backstage,
<v Speaker 1>he runs into Dan Housen. If you remember Dan Housen
<v Speaker 1>cursed him and it's been nothing but just downhill for him.
<v Speaker 1>Since that's why he got thrown into his camera, he
<v Speaker 1>wants him to take off the curse. Dan Housen offers
<v Speaker 1>to lift the curse for a mention, a social media mention.
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce shows up, Dan Housen disappears, and Pierce suggests
<v Speaker 1>to Speed go home, let the USOS and Division work
<v Speaker 1>out their differences. You don't need to be here, go home.
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul and Austin Theory Tag Team Champions. They show
<v Speaker 1>up and they stop Speed. They go, oh, not so fast,
<v Speaker 1>and they disagree. They say, hey, that's stunt that La
<v Speaker 1>Knight pull that you're home on the YouTube stream. That's unforgivable.
<v Speaker 1>You're coming out with us to the ring because Austin
<v Speaker 1>Theory's got a match coming up next. And Speed's not
<v Speaker 1>very enamored with this idea. But off they go, and
<v Speaker 1>we did get La Knight one on one with Austin Theory.
<v Speaker 1>This was La Knight's first match since the Elimination Chamber.
<v Speaker 1>He had a bursa sack issue, apparently it's been resolved,
<v Speaker 1>and he did have a sleeve on his arm. But
<v Speaker 1>it's good to see that he's at least medically cleared.
<v Speaker 1>So he was back in action tonight. So Night was
<v Speaker 1>bouncing theory off the lid of the announced deskout side
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul was out there in his partner's corner and
<v Speaker 1>he provided the distraction. Now I show Speed is out
<v Speaker 1>there as well, and he's begging off. He doesn't want
<v Speaker 1>to have anything to do with any of this. Logan
<v Speaker 1>then shoves Speed into Night. Night didn't see this. Speed
<v Speaker 1>is like, ah fuck, like I didn't do nothing right.
<v Speaker 1>He's trying to tell him he didn't do anything. So
<v Speaker 1>Night starts to chase after him. He starts to walk
<v Speaker 1>after him, and Speed is backing down the aisle. He's
<v Speaker 1>telling him, I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing.
<v Speaker 1>Leave me alone, Leave me out of this. So we
<v Speaker 1>hear Jay USO's music. Apparently the new music that they
<v Speaker 1>debuted last week for the USSOS has now been I
<v Speaker 1>guess they've ditched it. Either that or they hit the
<v Speaker 1>wrong button. I don't know that music lasted all of
<v Speaker 1>one week. So they're back to Jay USO's music, and
<v Speaker 1>both Jimmy and Jay they walk out on stage. Speed
<v Speaker 1>goes to run away. Night catches him. Logan though, is
<v Speaker 1>there with a distraction and back in the ring, Theory
<v Speaker 1>rolls up up La Knight and pins him. Not a
<v Speaker 1>good year so far for La Knight. He has not
<v Speaker 1>had a good twenty twenty six so far. So now
<v Speaker 1>the match is over. Speed is sitting in the corner
<v Speaker 1>and he's looking up at the Ussos and he's looking
<v Speaker 1>up at La Night. He's begging off and he's saying,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. It's not
<v Speaker 1>my fault. So Jay is not really buying it. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>gives the high sign, they go for a one D
<v Speaker 1>to Speed. Logan reaches in. He pulls Speed out to
<v Speaker 1>the floor, so Night grabs the mic and he demands
<v Speaker 1>that Adam Pierce bring his ass on out, and Adam
<v Speaker 1>Pierce walks out, and he said the Ussos were the champions.
<v Speaker 1>Speed cost them those titles, so they are no longer
<v Speaker 1>the champions, and then La Knight had tried to get
<v Speaker 1>some revenge Speed cost him that, so he thinks a
<v Speaker 1>six man tag team match of WrestleMania would be appropriate
<v Speaker 1>where it's him and the USSOS against the Vision and
<v Speaker 1>I show Speed and he asks Adam Pierce, what do
<v Speaker 1>you gotta say about that? And Pierce says, speed, you
<v Speaker 1>should have gone home, but instead you're going to WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>Hardy harhar. It was a great line there, Adam Pierce.
<v Speaker 1>So the match is official. We will have a six
<v Speaker 1>man tag team match of WrestleMania again. I don't I
<v Speaker 1>don't mind it so much. It's an undercard match. It's
<v Speaker 1>a way to get these guys on the show. What
<v Speaker 1>the hell else would La Night be doing. I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>is it ridiculous that he is in a match like
<v Speaker 1>this when it would be nice if they could come
<v Speaker 1>up with some sort of one on one issue for
<v Speaker 1>him to, you know, really sink his teeth into like
<v Speaker 1>a proper feud. Of course, he's having a terrible year
<v Speaker 1>so far, but it's a way to get him on
<v Speaker 1>the card. It's a way to get the usso's on
<v Speaker 1>the card, because you knew they weren't going to leave
<v Speaker 1>them off. The tag team titles are not on the line,
<v Speaker 1>but honestly, who gives a shit. You cannot tell me,
<v Speaker 1>You cannot tell me that you actually care whether or
<v Speaker 1>not the world tag team titles are defended at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>this year because WWE clearly does not give a shit
<v Speaker 1>about those belts. Look at the way that they have
<v Speaker 1>treated them over the past year. They don't care, They
<v Speaker 1>don't matter. The sad part is neither tag team title
<v Speaker 1>on the men's side, Raw or SmackDown are being defended
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. The women's tag team titles are being defended,
<v Speaker 1>but neither set of men's tag team belts are on
<v Speaker 1>the line of WrestleMania. Not shocking to me at all,
<v Speaker 1>not at all. The Raw tag team division is dead,
<v Speaker 1>the SmackDown tag team division is dead. They're both dead.
<v Speaker 1>It would be a waste of a spot on the
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania cards. You know who you know who should get
<v Speaker 1>a spot on the WrestleMania card. Julia, because she's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be the only one, one of the few, one of
<v Speaker 1>the few in terms of singles titles. Not I have
<v Speaker 1>a title defense of WrestleMania unless something gets added this week.
<v Speaker 1>To me, it's feeling like that's gonna be a spack
<v Speaker 1>Down before WrestleMania match with her and Tiffany Stratton and
<v Speaker 1>maybe Chelsea Green thrown in there. If Chelsea can get
<v Speaker 1>cleared That's probably what we're looking at, and I'm pretty
<v Speaker 1>sure out of all the singles belts, that'll be the
<v Speaker 1>only one that doesn't get defended on the WrestleMania card.
<v Speaker 1>That's a slap in the face the tag team titles.
<v Speaker 1>Who cares? WWE gave up on these divisions a long
<v Speaker 1>time ago. I can't even bring myself to care or
<v Speaker 1>be really upset about it. Are you upset that the
<v Speaker 1>ussos are not challenging for the tag team titles at WrestleMania?
<v Speaker 1>No good me neither. Moving on Michael Cole. They showed
<v Speaker 1>him at ringside again and he had to pretend that
<v Speaker 1>he was very upset. He was very angry about what
<v Speaker 1>Pat McAfee did on Friday Night. To Cody Rhodes. He
<v Speaker 1>and Pat were like this. Pat used to sit next
<v Speaker 1>to him on commentary. He's a Paul by what Pat
<v Speaker 1>McAfee did. I'm looking at Corey Graves. I'm looking at
<v Speaker 1>the look on his face like, I'm sure Corey is
<v Speaker 1>very upset that everybody is everybody is hating on Pat McAfee. Now,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he's just devastated. But he threw it to
<v Speaker 1>highlights of what happened on Friday, and we don't need
<v Speaker 1>to get into this bullshit again. You all saw what
<v Speaker 1>happened now. They advertised the match on this show between
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor and JD McDonough and I was actually looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to this match. I was looking forward to that
<v Speaker 1>the moment that they kicked Finn Balor out of the
<v Speaker 1>judgment day I said, one day we're going to get
<v Speaker 1>a match between these two, and it's going to be
<v Speaker 1>really fucking good. I wasn't expecting to get it tonight
<v Speaker 1>until they advertised it, and I thought naively. I thought, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>this will be good. We're actually going to get the
<v Speaker 1>match tonight. But they pulled a bait and switch. We
<v Speaker 1>did not get the match. McDonough was already in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Balor was making his way out. He looks into the
<v Speaker 1>camera and he says he's been waiting for this one
<v Speaker 1>for a long time, and then he got jumped. He
<v Speaker 1>got ambushed from behind by Dominic Mysterio. They ended up
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. Finn was holding his own until dom
<v Speaker 1>smashed him in the face with the Triple A Mega Championship.
<v Speaker 1>Mcdonoughh handed Dom a chair and he started wearing Finn
<v Speaker 1>out with it, and that's how they closed the segment.
<v Speaker 1>And look, I get that they want to put more
<v Speaker 1>heat on the baller in dom match for WrestleMania. That's fine,
<v Speaker 1>but you could have done it after the match. At
<v Speaker 1>least give us the match that you advertised and then
<v Speaker 1>you could do the fuck finished and have Dominic come
<v Speaker 1>out and attack him. We didn't even get the match,
<v Speaker 1>so I didn't like that. I thought that sucked because
<v Speaker 1>I was genuinely looking forward to seeing that match. I
<v Speaker 1>can only hope they're saving it for I mean, do
<v Speaker 1>you honestly see them putting that on a pl e?
<v Speaker 1>They have five fucking matches on these ples. If we're lucky,
<v Speaker 1>we'll get five. What pl would that match be on?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they'll do it in Italy. Maybe I'm not optimistic
<v Speaker 1>about that being a singles match on one of the plees,
<v Speaker 1>but it would be nice if they went out there
<v Speaker 1>and gave him fifteen minutes to have a great wrestling match. Now.
<v Speaker 1>They aired a pre tape promo later in the show
<v Speaker 1>from Balor. It was kind of funny because it's one
<v Speaker 1>of those segments. It was shot in a way and
<v Speaker 1>they put music to it and highlights of what had happened,
<v Speaker 1>like earlier in the show, and I'm like, it just
<v Speaker 1>felt like something that would have been taped either earlier
<v Speaker 1>in the day or last week or something. But we're
<v Speaker 1>supposed to believe that this whole package was put together
<v Speaker 1>in a matter of like an hour, because it included
<v Speaker 1>clips of what happened here where you know, Dom jumped
<v Speaker 1>him and the match never happened. But this was later
<v Speaker 1>in the show, and Balor is sitting there and he's
<v Speaker 1>he said, he basically he said he's bringing back the
<v Speaker 1>Demon a WrestleMania. He didn't say those words. He alluded
<v Speaker 1>to bringing back a side of himself that Dom doesn't know,
<v Speaker 1>one that he buried a long time ago and never
<v Speaker 1>thought he would bring back again. And then at the
<v Speaker 1>very end, they zoomed in on his face and they
<v Speaker 1>zoomed in on his eye, and I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>there was like a little demon transformation going on there.
<v Speaker 1>The Demon is coming back, the demon paint is coming back,
<v Speaker 1>or WrestleMania. So if you care about that sort of thing,
<v Speaker 1>I really can't bring myself to give a shit. But
<v Speaker 1>if you care about that sort of thing, and you
<v Speaker 1>actually still care about the Demon, you should look forward
<v Speaker 1>to that at least still have a cool entrance if
<v Speaker 1>nothing else. My whole thing with the Demon always was
<v Speaker 1>it was I was very impressed by the paint as
<v Speaker 1>far as how he would do the paint, especially when
<v Speaker 1>he was doing it before he came to WWE, because
<v Speaker 1>he like, he would have different types of paint that
<v Speaker 1>he would use, I think once he was Venom or
<v Speaker 1>Spider Man or whatever, and like in WWE, you really
<v Speaker 1>can't do that. You get that one design and you
<v Speaker 1>got to stick to it so they can make action
<v Speaker 1>figures and they can put you in the video game, right,
<v Speaker 1>you can't be changing it all the time. But like
<v Speaker 1>I would watch these matches when he was the Demon
<v Speaker 1>because like he might be in a feud with somebody
<v Speaker 1>who pushes him over the edge and now the Demon
<v Speaker 1>comes out. It's like, all right, that's kind of cool.
<v Speaker 1>But then the bell would ring and he would wrestle
<v Speaker 1>exactly the way that he always wrestled. He wouldn't sell
<v Speaker 1>any differently, he wouldn't wrestle any differently, he wouldn't act
<v Speaker 1>or behave any differently. It was the same fucking person,
<v Speaker 1>just with paint on him. And I'm like, so why
<v Speaker 1>am I supposed to care? But I don't know. People
<v Speaker 1>pop for the Demon. They thought it was cool. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, if you say so. Yeah, Venom Carnage, the
<v Speaker 1>Joker Roman killed the Demon. He did, he did? I know.
<v Speaker 1>He brought it back for the hell in a seal
<v Speaker 1>match with Edge that he was supposed to win, and
<v Speaker 1>then Vince McMahon said, no, Edge is gonna win. So
<v Speaker 1>he lost. But yes, the Demon officially died when he
<v Speaker 1>slipped and fell off the top rope and the top
<v Speaker 1>rope broke because the Demon was so heavy. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>top rope broke. Earlier today, Michael Cole had the chance
<v Speaker 1>to sit down with AJ Lee and he was going
<v Speaker 1>to conduct an interview with the women's Intercontinental champion. Said
<v Speaker 1>he can't believe that he's sitting here with her, that
<v Speaker 1>she's heading into her first WrestleMania match in eleven years?
<v Speaker 1>How do you feel? And before aj could really get
<v Speaker 1>into anything, Becky Lynch shows up. She calls Michael Cole
<v Speaker 1>the worst interviewer ever. Cole leaves says, I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to take this. Looks over at aj He says, good luck.
<v Speaker 1>So Becky sits down right in front of AJ so
<v Speaker 1>that she remembers AJ's last WrestleMania. AJ gave her a
<v Speaker 1>hug in the back with her fake niceness. She saw
<v Speaker 1>her replacement and what was coming for her, so she quit.
<v Speaker 1>This won't be like the Elimination Chamber, she said. WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>is her home. AJ tells Becky she's proud of her.
<v Speaker 1>She's made history, but none of that happens without her.
<v Speaker 1>She shattered the glass ceilings, She knocked down doors for Becky.
<v Speaker 1>The company kept calling for AJ, and they never forgot her.
<v Speaker 1>Becky's daughter, her favorite wrestler is AJ Lee, and AJ
<v Speaker 1>will see her at WrestleMania. So AJ left and Becky
<v Speaker 1>threw a fit and was all pissed off. It's fine again.
<v Speaker 1>I can't say I'm terribly excited to see this match again.
<v Speaker 1>They really have not done anything on television to get
<v Speaker 1>me to feel a level of excitement for this match
<v Speaker 1>that I simply cannot bring myself to feel. I think
<v Speaker 1>they could go out there and have a good match.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't have a bad match at the Elimination Chamber,
<v Speaker 1>but this is the rematch, and I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>just I don't really care. Sorry, doesn't really feel like
<v Speaker 1>a big WrestleMania match to me. We had Bailey with
<v Speaker 1>Lyra Valkyria in her corner taking on Lash Legend, who
<v Speaker 1>had Naya Jacks in hers as Bailey came out. This
<v Speaker 1>happened during the commercial break, so I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>everybody had the chance to see this, but Bailey is
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. She slipped, She slipped and she fell
<v Speaker 1>and she kind of rolled over and she had a
<v Speaker 1>good laugh about it. Michael Cole was rasing her for
<v Speaker 1>it as well. The two of them never missed a
<v Speaker 1>chance to needle the other anyway. Naya tripped Bailey off
<v Speaker 1>the ropes. Late in the match, Lash charged into the corner.
<v Speaker 1>She ended up hitting the ring post. Lyra got destroyed
<v Speaker 1>by Nya on the outside that brought out Charlotte Flair
<v Speaker 1>and Alexa Bliss. Bailey did a dive out onto the pile.
<v Speaker 1>She went back after Lash. She got caught though with
<v Speaker 1>a right hand. Lash tried for a super plex. Lyra,
<v Speaker 1>though reaches up and she holds her ankle and Bailey
<v Speaker 1>falls on top of Lash, and then Lyra proceeds to
<v Speaker 1>hold down Lash's boot so she can't kick out, and
<v Speaker 1>Bailey gets the three count who wins the match they
<v Speaker 1>have not done. I mean, you talk about matches that
<v Speaker 1>they have not done a great job of. In terms
<v Speaker 1>of the build to WrestleMania, the women's tag team stuff
<v Speaker 1>has been the worst stuff they've done on this road
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleMania, and it's not really any of their faults.
<v Speaker 1>Although I really didn't think a lot of the matches
<v Speaker 1>that we've been seeing on TV over the past month
<v Speaker 1>were very good. The one we got last week was
<v Speaker 1>the best of the bunch that I've seen. That was
<v Speaker 1>Bailey and Lyra against Charlotte and Alexa. I thought that
<v Speaker 1>was good. But yeah, the rest of this stuff, it's
<v Speaker 1>just paint by numbers. It's not terribly interesting, it's not
<v Speaker 1>terribly exciting. I don't really have a whole lot to
<v Speaker 1>say about it, other than later in the show during
<v Speaker 1>the commercial Off course, it was during the commercial break
<v Speaker 1>Kathy Kelly was interviewing Bailey and Lyra, and Bailey I thought,
<v Speaker 1>cut a hell of a promo. That's the best promo
<v Speaker 1>I've heard Bailey cutting forever. So if you can track
<v Speaker 1>it down somehow, go ahead and do so. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it was brief, It wasn't out of this world like
<v Speaker 1>the CM punk promo at the beginning of the show
<v Speaker 1>or anything. But I thought it was a really good promo.
<v Speaker 1>They should have aired that on TV. So then it
<v Speaker 1>was time to burn it down. Oh I was ready
<v Speaker 1>to burn it down. On Friday night, let me tell
<v Speaker 1>you Seth Rollins made his way out to the ring
<v Speaker 1>dressed in all black. The man in black no Ninjas tonight.
<v Speaker 1>But the man in black says he'd been waiting six
<v Speaker 1>months to walk down the ramp and for the people
<v Speaker 1>to sing that damn song. So the people started singing
<v Speaker 1>his entrance music. He says it WrestleMania. He goes one
<v Speaker 1>on one with Gunther, said, he's still putting the pieces together.
<v Speaker 1>They don't have a long history. There's no personal issues there,
<v Speaker 1>there's no animosity there. The only logical conclusion that he
<v Speaker 1>could come up with is that Gunher has some sort
<v Speaker 1>of business relationship with Paul Hayman. So Rollin says he
<v Speaker 1>has two missions in his head. One is to take
<v Speaker 1>back the World Heavyweight Championship and the second one is
<v Speaker 1>to kill the Vision, which shouldn't be too hard. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the Vision's already half dead. Said he's not worried about Logan,
<v Speaker 1>Paul and Austin theory they've got an issue with the
<v Speaker 1>Ussos that won't end well for them. Bron Breaker on
<v Speaker 1>the shelf, Bronson Reid on the shelf. Paul Hayman left
<v Speaker 1>all alone to fend for himself, and he put Brock
<v Speaker 1>on a silver platter for Obafemi says Gunther has made
<v Speaker 1>it personal. So as he's talking about Gunther, guntherher attacks
<v Speaker 1>from behind, goes to put him in the sleeperhold. Rollin's
<v Speaker 1>clearly suspected something was brewing. He had it scouted. He
<v Speaker 1>slipped behind him. He put him in a sleeperhold. Gunther
<v Speaker 1>was able to get out of it. Rollins tried for
<v Speaker 1>a quick stomp. Gunther rolled out to the floor instead,
<v Speaker 1>so Rollins did a suicide dive. Gunther caught him though,
<v Speaker 1>and propelled him over his head and over the announced desk. Rollins, though,
<v Speaker 1>came right back. Adam Adam Pierce is out with all
<v Speaker 1>the officials to break them up. Gunther caught Rollins with
<v Speaker 1>a cheap shot, big boot, put him down. Pierce told
<v Speaker 1>him get the hell out of here. So Gunther went
<v Speaker 1>and he headed to the back. Rollins was not happy.
<v Speaker 1>He was fuming mad he was pacing back and forth,
<v Speaker 1>but that's how it ended. But then they cut to
<v Speaker 1>the back and we see Gunther is walking and he
<v Speaker 1>runs into Paul Hayman. Haymond said, I don't know why
<v Speaker 1>you did what you did in Madison Square Garden because
<v Speaker 1>to my knowledge, there's nothing personal between you and Seth.
<v Speaker 1>So all I can say to you is that I
<v Speaker 1>owe you a very big thank you. And Gunh said,
<v Speaker 1>it's very personal for Seth Rolin. That's good because it's
<v Speaker 1>personal for me too, just not for the reasons that
<v Speaker 1>Seth may be thinking. As far as Paul Haman goes,
<v Speaker 1>he put his hand out for a handshake. Haymon's all
<v Speaker 1>smiles and he shakes his hand. Gunther then pulls him
<v Speaker 1>in and gets serious and he tells him Haymon owes
<v Speaker 1>him so much more than a very big thank you.
<v Speaker 1>There it is there, it is. He said everything that
<v Speaker 1>you need to say without saying the actual words. It's
<v Speaker 1>the favor all over again. It's a variation to the
<v Speaker 1>favor angle that we had with Sampunk and Paul Hayman
<v Speaker 1>last year. And I think I even said this last
<v Speaker 1>week that not only would this potentially be the direction
<v Speaker 1>they go in, but you don't have to have Gunther
<v Speaker 1>expose his reasons right away. You can wait until after Wrestlemanie.
<v Speaker 1>If they wanted to, they could wait a couple of
<v Speaker 1>months or more than that, because because the favor the
<v Speaker 1>only thing that realistically makes sense here unless it ties
<v Speaker 1>into the World Heavyweight Championship in some way. If the
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship ends up in the vision with bron
<v Speaker 1>Breaker or something like that, and maybe he wants a
<v Speaker 1>title shot down the line, I don't even think it's
<v Speaker 1>about that now. Gunter made a comment and hear about
<v Speaker 1>how well it's personal for Seth. It's personal for me too.
<v Speaker 1>He just doesn't realize how much or why we didn't
<v Speaker 1>get much of an explanation here. That part of it
<v Speaker 1>was disappointing. I was expecting more out of this. They
<v Speaker 1>teased it, they didn't really tell us. So if there
<v Speaker 1>is more to this, we're gonna have to wait and
<v Speaker 1>find out. But as far as what he said to him,
<v Speaker 1>and it's pretty clear to me and what makes sense
<v Speaker 1>is that he is going to bank on this favor,
<v Speaker 1>let's call it, because he's going to want a match
<v Speaker 1>at some point with Brock Lesner, and I think that
<v Speaker 1>match is going to happen in Minneapolis at SummerSlam. Whether
<v Speaker 1>or not you believe that brock Lesner really would be
<v Speaker 1>done at that point, even if they build it as
<v Speaker 1>a retirement match if he were to lose. Do I
<v Speaker 1>think brock would be done forever? No? I don't, even
<v Speaker 1>if they build it that way. This is not John Cena,
<v Speaker 1>this is not aj Styles. Brock Lesner can do this
<v Speaker 1>for many more years if he wants to. He doesn't
<v Speaker 1>wrestle that many times a year to begin with. And
<v Speaker 1>if the Saudi's come calling for wrestle Mania next year,
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be Saudi Mania next year. And if
<v Speaker 1>they got a big payday waiting for brock Lesner because
<v Speaker 1>they need star power, ESPN needs star power, they flash
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of dollar bills in Brock's face. You don't
<v Speaker 1>think brock Lesner isn't going to be like, all right, sure,
<v Speaker 1>let's do it. Oh no, no, no, Well, I have integrity.
<v Speaker 1>I care too much about the promise that I made
<v Speaker 1>that if I lost this match, I would be done
<v Speaker 1>at Wrestleman. Get the fuck out of here. So even
<v Speaker 1>if they were to advertise it that way, do I
<v Speaker 1>honestly believe that Brock is going to be done, done
<v Speaker 1>for good in Minneapolis this year. I don't, but it
<v Speaker 1>does feel to me like that's the Summer Slim match.
<v Speaker 1>It's going to be gunn theer as the career killer
<v Speaker 1>trying to end the career of Brock Lesner. There's your
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam match. The only question now is how long
<v Speaker 1>does it take for him to reveal on television what
<v Speaker 1>it is that he wants from Paul Hayman, because you
<v Speaker 1>know it's going to come back around on them, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't mind them doing the match. But here's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>If I'm right, If I'm right, and this is the
<v Speaker 1>direction that they are going in in the Summer Slam
<v Speaker 1>match is going to be Gunther and Brock. That makes
<v Speaker 1>it very, very likely that Brock Alesner beats Obafemi at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>and not only beats Obafemi, but that it would be
<v Speaker 1>a one and done. I don't even know that Brock
<v Speaker 1>would wrestle at all between WrestleMania and Summer Slam. What
<v Speaker 1>show would he wrestle on. I mean, maybe they have
<v Speaker 1>him on the International show. Maybe at the end of May.
<v Speaker 1>I guess it's possible, but I'm not even convinced that
<v Speaker 1>we would see Brocklesner back in the ring again until
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of August. So that's the thing I don't like.
<v Speaker 1>If we get Brock and Oba at WrestleMania and it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be one and done and Brock beats him
<v Speaker 1>and again, I'm not saying there isn't a way to
<v Speaker 1>do it where you could do it without killing Oba Femi,
<v Speaker 1>but man for him to lose and not run that
<v Speaker 1>back again, I don't like that at all, And so
<v Speaker 1>that's the only issue I really have with it, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Otherwise I don't really have any I don't have a
<v Speaker 1>problem with him doing guntherro and Brock at some point,
<v Speaker 1>but if that's going to be the next one and
<v Speaker 1>Oba loses and doesn't have the chance, they don't have
<v Speaker 1>the chance to circle back around so he can get
<v Speaker 1>that w back. I'm not a big fan of that,
<v Speaker 1>but I think that's what we're looking at here. Felt
<v Speaker 1>that way to me. But it's also why Gunther has
<v Speaker 1>to win his match, you know, with Seth or WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>and that much. I said that a few days ago.
<v Speaker 1>It's like Bron Breaker is medically cleared, supposedly, you can
<v Speaker 1>have him make an appearance at WrestleMania. You can have
<v Speaker 1>him factor into the finish. It doesn't have to be
<v Speaker 1>a clean you know, Seth Rollins passes out in the
<v Speaker 1>sleeper hole, like, no, you don't have to do that.
<v Speaker 1>The important thing is that Gunther picks up the win
<v Speaker 1>and Seth Rollins even if he loses his first match back,
<v Speaker 1>if his loss is caused by bron Breaker, well then
<v Speaker 1>they go off and do their thing, you know, backlash
<v Speaker 1>or whatever. Gunter has to win that match of WrestleMania WW.
<v Speaker 1>We may look at it the same way. For Brock.
<v Speaker 1>This is a must win for Brock. We gotta keep
<v Speaker 1>Brock strong. Remember that comment John Cena made about his
<v Speaker 1>match of Wressel Poluzu or Brocklaser. Why Brock had to win.
<v Speaker 1>Brock has to look strong. We gotta make Brock. I
<v Speaker 1>will never not laugh at the way that he phrased it.
<v Speaker 1>We got we gotta make Brock really really okay. Sure,
<v Speaker 1>as absurd as that sounds, this is how they think
<v Speaker 1>we had Penta, Dragon, Lee and Javon Evans as a
<v Speaker 1>tag team. All three men will be adversaries in the
<v Speaker 1>latter match of WrestleMania. They were tag team partners tonight
<v Speaker 1>against the Americanos El Grande Americano Kaiser and Los Americanos
<v Speaker 1>Ryo and Bravo. They mentioned that Penta will be defending
<v Speaker 1>his intercontinental title this Saturday on the Triple A Show
<v Speaker 1>against El Ejdel Vikingo. Something tells me, U hmm, my
<v Speaker 1>Spidey senses are tingling, and they're telling me the Vikingo's
<v Speaker 1>chances in that match of winning the championship they're not
<v Speaker 1>very good. I actually thought there was a chance that
<v Speaker 1>they would add a sixth spot and maybe they would
<v Speaker 1>throw Vikingo in there, throw the Undertaker a bone, let's
<v Speaker 1>put one of his Triple A guys on the wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Media card. Plus, you know, it's a Vikingo in a
<v Speaker 1>ladder match. Kind of makes sense. But then we got
<v Speaker 1>the announcement at the end of the match that that
<v Speaker 1>spot is going to somebody else, so it doesn't look
<v Speaker 1>good for Vikingo. On the Triple A Show, Penta landed
<v Speaker 1>this great double DDT on both Americanos. At one point,
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee went for a styles clash on Ryo Bravo
<v Speaker 1>broke that up, hit the red Dot, Lee got his
<v Speaker 1>styles clash on Bravo. El Grande broke up the count Dragon,
<v Speaker 1>Lee sent him packing to the floor. Penta destroyed Ryo
<v Speaker 1>with a destroyer, got destroyed with the Destroyer on the apron,
<v Speaker 1>and then Javon Evans he flew from the heavens. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>my god, the height, the height that he got for
<v Speaker 1>this cutter, this og cutter that he hit on Bravo
<v Speaker 1>and he wins it for his team. I had fun
<v Speaker 1>with this. I thought it was a fun match. It
<v Speaker 1>gave us a small taste of what we could expect
<v Speaker 1>from the three baby faces at WrestleMania. Javon Evans is
<v Speaker 1>I can only imagine what he's going to do. O
<v Speaker 1>G cutter from the top of a ladder very possible.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's exactly what we're going to get at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be craziness. Now. When the match was over,
<v Speaker 1>we heard bu Yaka. Remember William Shatner. William Shatner does
<v Speaker 1>the WWE theme songs, one of the all time classic
<v Speaker 1>segment raw bu Yaka bou Yaka. Raymister, believe that guy
<v Speaker 1>is almost one hundred years old Is he like ninety
<v Speaker 1>five or something? God bless him? He doesn't look it?
<v Speaker 1>Look it up? How old is uh? I know he's
<v Speaker 1>ninety something. How old is William Shatner? He looks good
<v Speaker 1>for ancient Raymisterio. Speaking of ancient Raymisterio comes out down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring, big ovation. He hugged Evans and Lee
<v Speaker 1>and Penta. Hey talked about how cool it was to
<v Speaker 1>see Penta's journey take him all the way to the
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental Championship. Mysterio said that he missed WrestleMania last year
<v Speaker 1>due to an injury, and so he had a conversation
<v Speaker 1>earlier with Adam Pierce because there will be a sixth
<v Speaker 1>spot in the latter match at WrestleMania, and that spot
<v Speaker 1>is going to Raymystereo, and everybody cheered pen to look
<v Speaker 1>very happy about it. So Raymistereo got cleared after all,
<v Speaker 1>in time for WrestleMania. I guess they got tired of waiting.
<v Speaker 1>Had to get Gunther on TV because the rumor all
<v Speaker 1>along had been Gunther and Raymisterio, And if you look
<v Speaker 1>at the Dragon Lee stuff they did at the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of March, that made sense that that would be the
<v Speaker 1>direction they would go in and Ray gets cleared a
<v Speaker 1>week after they bring gun through to TV. That's kind
<v Speaker 1>of weird. I'm glad they brought Guntherro back when they did,
<v Speaker 1>but it seems like they just missed each other. Frankly,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther and Rollins is a bigger match anyway, so I
<v Speaker 1>don't really mind it. The only thing I have to
<v Speaker 1>say about this is I'm glad Ray made it back
<v Speaker 1>in time for Mania. But man, you know, Ray is
<v Speaker 1>fifty years old and he's coming off a couple of
<v Speaker 1>fractured ribs that he had to heal up from, and
<v Speaker 1>his first match back from the broken ribs is going
<v Speaker 1>to be a multiman ladder match. Good luck. I don't know, man.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he's very happy to be on the card,
<v Speaker 1>but you put this fucking guy in a ladder match
<v Speaker 1>his first match back from injury. What are you trying
<v Speaker 1>to do to this man? Rhea Ripley and EO. Sky
<v Speaker 1>reunited again as tag team partners here for one night only.
<v Speaker 1>They took on Meechen and BFAB. Yes they have migrated
<v Speaker 1>over to Monday Night Raw. We had Jade Cargill, the
<v Speaker 1>WWE Women's Champion on Raw in the corner of Meechen
<v Speaker 1>and BFAB and I don't know. I mean, Jade was
<v Speaker 1>wearing what I can only describe as this giant, this
<v Speaker 1>giant red furry flotation device around her shoulders. It's the
<v Speaker 1>best way I could describe whatever the hell this thing was.
<v Speaker 1>But before we got into the match, here we got
<v Speaker 1>a video promo with English subtitles from Osca. No Kyrie's saying,
<v Speaker 1>it was just OSCA cutting a promo on Eosky. She
<v Speaker 1>says she loved EO. EO's selfishness though destroyed what they had,
<v Speaker 1>and she accused EO of trying to take Kyrie away
<v Speaker 1>from her. She said that she paved the way to
<v Speaker 1>WWE for the both of them. Said she sacrificed everything
<v Speaker 1>and never expected thanks because she did everything out of love.
<v Speaker 1>Oscar said that EO took advantage of her kindness. She
<v Speaker 1>said that she would teach EO one last lesson in
<v Speaker 1>the ring, and then she switched to speaking in English
<v Speaker 1>and she said that she will take everything away from her.
<v Speaker 1>This was really good, so really good promo. No mention
<v Speaker 1>of WrestleMania though, even when they came back and the
<v Speaker 1>announcers were talking about what we just saw. They never
<v Speaker 1>mentioned it being a part of WrestleMania. Clearly they're going
<v Speaker 1>to have a match, and that match should absolutely happen WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>but if it does, there was no mention of that here,
<v Speaker 1>so that's a little worrisome. We'll know by tomorrow. We
<v Speaker 1>will know by tomorrow what the answer is on that,
<v Speaker 1>but there was no indication of when that match would
<v Speaker 1>actually happen. So in this match here, while the referee
<v Speaker 1>was distracted, there was one moment where Jade tripped up
<v Speaker 1>Rhea to prevent her from tagging in Eo. Eo then
<v Speaker 1>rolled up Befab with a flash pin to win the match,
<v Speaker 1>and that finish came out of nowhere. When it was over,
<v Speaker 1>Jade got in the ring, She laid out Eo, Meechin
<v Speaker 1>grabbed a kendo stick from under the ring. Ripley got
<v Speaker 1>into the ring. She tried to even the odds. She
<v Speaker 1>ate a terrible looking pumpkick from Jade. Did not look good,
<v Speaker 1>so she put a stop to that. And then the
<v Speaker 1>batties they held Ria down in the corner and Jade
<v Speaker 1>was just taunting her and there's nothing Ria can do
<v Speaker 1>because she's being restrained here by Beachin and me fab
<v Speaker 1>and they're holding her and she can go anywhere. And
<v Speaker 1>so Jade goes and she grabs the kendo stick. She's
<v Speaker 1>gonna make Rihea watch. She picks up the kendo stick
<v Speaker 1>and she just goes to town on EO with it,
<v Speaker 1>smashes her with it a few times, and then she
<v Speaker 1>drops EO with Jaded and then Jade left with her
<v Speaker 1>minions as Rio went over to EO and cradled her
<v Speaker 1>in her lap. This was all very mellow, dramatic. The
<v Speaker 1>only thing that was missing was Ria looking up at
<v Speaker 1>the heavens going no, no, no, this really dramatic way,
<v Speaker 1>or let me take that off the fuck. That's the
<v Speaker 1>only thing this was missing. But it was the only
<v Speaker 1>card they had to play as far as what could
<v Speaker 1>Jay do on a personal level to really get it
<v Speaker 1>Rhea Ripley. It's the only thing they could do. Have
<v Speaker 1>her beat up her best friend right in front of her.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing I don't like about it is that
<v Speaker 1>it just made EO look so weak. Actually, if they
<v Speaker 1>are preparing for her to get in the ring of
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania in her own match with Osca, and here she
<v Speaker 1>was just like a bit player just to try to
<v Speaker 1>get this match over here, match that nobody cares about.
<v Speaker 1>So that was my only issue with it. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>telling you, if she's not in the match of WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>if they're going to do EO and OSCA some other
<v Speaker 1>time and leave them off the car, I'd be very
<v Speaker 1>upset about that. This week's episode is sponsored by wis.

<v Speaker 1>this is the part of the show where we got
<v Speaker 1>the Finnbalor promo that I mentioned earlier on the video
<v Speaker 1>promo where he teased the demon for WrestleMania. Then it
<v Speaker 1>was backstage to the judgment day. Dominic Masterio was there
<v Speaker 1>with Live Morgan and Jad McDonough and Raquel Rodriguez, and
<v Speaker 1>Dom was wondering what did what did Balor mean by that?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I don't understand what did he mean
<v Speaker 1>by that? So McDonough tells Dom, look, we need to
<v Speaker 1>worry about your deadbeat dad more than we do. Finn
<v Speaker 1>don't worry about him. So they go off to talk
<v Speaker 1>to Adam Pierce, so that leaves Live in Raquel, and
<v Speaker 1>Raquel exits because she wants to or Live wants to
<v Speaker 1>have a conversation with Roxanne Peress, who returned last week.
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne's been away for a while. She may be away
<v Speaker 1>for a while again after what happened here in this segment.
<v Speaker 1>So we have Live and we have Roxy and she
<v Speaker 1>tells Roxanne, look, I know it was Finn who brought
<v Speaker 1>you into the judgment day And before the conversation could
<v Speaker 1>go any further, she gets attacked Live more does from
<v Speaker 1>behind by Stephanie Vicuer. Stephanie shows up and just blasts
<v Speaker 1>Live from behind with a shot, and she knocked Live
<v Speaker 1>right into rock sand because they were basically face to face,
<v Speaker 1>and she hit her so hard. Live went face first,
<v Speaker 1>head first into rock sande You could hear the thud
<v Speaker 1>of their skulls cracking together. I can only hope that
<v Speaker 1>it was their foreheads and that Lives fucking head didn't
<v Speaker 1>go into Roxane's face or cheek or something like that.
<v Speaker 1>It made this horrible noise. I'm gonna play this now
<v Speaker 1>when I play this little three second audio clip here,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna hear something at the beginning of it. That
<v Speaker 1>is their heads colliding. Okay, you heard that noise there
<v Speaker 1>at the beginning, that's their skulls colliding. It looked absolutely brutal.
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne went down, she wasn't moving. Live went down. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't see blood or anything, you know, coming from Live's
<v Speaker 1>head or anything. But Stephanie then picked her up, and
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie rammed Live's head into the flat screen behind them,
<v Speaker 1>cracked the flat screen, So I guess that was kind
<v Speaker 1>of cool, and Live was laid out on the floor,
<v Speaker 1>but man, it looked nasty. It really did, and Roxanne
<v Speaker 1>looked like she just got killed. Hopefully there's no broken
<v Speaker 1>orbital bones or concussions or I'm sure they're being tested
<v Speaker 1>for that. This close to WrestleMania, I mean, Roxanne doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have a match, but Live does, so I mean hopefully
<v Speaker 1>they're okay, but also you worry about WrestleMania, which is
<v Speaker 1>less than two weeks away. Yeah, it was an accident,
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't anything that was intended. But man, I hope
<v Speaker 1>Roxanne is okay. People are saying she is reckless Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>was reckless for for for what for throwing a forearm?
<v Speaker 1>How is she? How is she reckless here? I mean
<v Speaker 1>it was an accident. I'm not aware of her having
<v Speaker 1>a reputation for throwing heavy hands. Here. They were very
<v Speaker 1>they were too close together, and liv wasn't expecting it
<v Speaker 1>at that exact moment, and she just went forward full force,
<v Speaker 1>and it just seemed like an accident. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>didn't look reckless to me, But I don't know. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we'll wait and see if there's any update. I suspect
<v Speaker 1>if there is, we will know by tomorrow. But hopefully
<v Speaker 1>everything is okay Man. That is nasty business there. They
<v Speaker 1>closed the show though, with Paul Levec coming out with
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pearce for the show closing contract signing for rest
<v Speaker 1>between brock Lesner and Obafemi, or as Paul Hayman calls him,
<v Speaker 1>obah Femme. That's how Paul Hayman talked to his children
<v Speaker 1>as he was raising them, trying to teach them different
<v Speaker 1>words and vocabulary lessons. He would really emphasize every syllable
<v Speaker 1>as he spoke. He still does it to this day
<v Speaker 1>with all of us. So then they went to commercial
<v Speaker 1>as Triple H was making his entrance, and all throughout
<v Speaker 1>the commercial break they played his music and he had
<v Speaker 1>time to play to the Crab, which I'm sure he
<v Speaker 1>very much enjoyed. So when they came back, Adam Pierce
<v Speaker 1>was cut off by Paul Hayman's arrival. He called this
<v Speaker 1>the most anticipated contract signing in years, if not ever,
<v Speaker 1>in WrestleMania history. He introduced Brock Lesner. For some reason,
<v Speaker 1>they then showed the copyright box in the corner of
<v Speaker 1>the screen like the show was ending, even though the
<v Speaker 1>segment hadn't even begun yet, so that was kind of weird.
<v Speaker 1>So Brock circled the ring outside, he got in, He
<v Speaker 1>shook hands with Triple H. He shook hands with that
<v Speaker 1>in Pierce, and this crowd was amped up. They were
<v Speaker 1>ready for Oba Femi men. They were chanting this guy's name.
<v Speaker 1>They were a barkin' oo woo. I mean there, let
<v Speaker 1>me tell you, these people were excited to see this
<v Speaker 1>man come out. And then it was time for his arrival.
<v Speaker 1>It was time for the ruler to make his way
<v Speaker 1>out to the ring. Just don't ask him for an
<v Speaker 1>autograph on the street. I agree with him, By the way,
<v Speaker 1>leave the man alone when he's getting into a fucking
<v Speaker 1>uber Leave the man alone, please. But again, you listen
<v Speaker 1>to this crowd and you can tell. I mean, and
<v Speaker 1>it's not just in Houston. I mean, it's been every
<v Speaker 1>week since he came out to accept Brock's challenge. Like
<v Speaker 1>they are behind him one hundred percent. He looks the part.
<v Speaker 1>He is one of the few people that they have
<v Speaker 1>been able to match up with brock Lesner who looks
<v Speaker 1>like physically looks like he could destroy brock Lesnar. Brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesner usually dwarfs a lot of the other people who's
<v Speaker 1>in the ring with, so you know he fits the
<v Speaker 1>role in that respect. But he just comes out. He
<v Speaker 1>just has this intimidating presence about him. He is the future.
<v Speaker 1>He is the future. He can be the guy in
<v Speaker 1>this company. I think the fans feel that they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to will it into existence. You know, they're fully behind him.
<v Speaker 1>So he marches and struts his way down to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, this guy seems like a sure thing.
<v Speaker 1>All they have to do is try not to fuck
<v Speaker 1>it up. I think they can avoid that. It would
<v Speaker 1>seem like a no brainer. But with this company, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not so sure. So before Oba could even get through
<v Speaker 1>the ropes, Lesner attacks him. As he's trying to get
<v Speaker 1>into the ring. Lesner jumps off the apron, Oba catches
<v Speaker 1>him and runs him backwards into the ring post. Oba
<v Speaker 1>then tosses Lesner back into the ring follows him inside.
<v Speaker 1>Lesner went for a sup plex. Oba didn't really go
<v Speaker 1>I think he was trying to do like an overhead suplex,
<v Speaker 1>and Oba didn't really go fully over for it. So
<v Speaker 1>it was a little awkward, a little scary, frankly, but
<v Speaker 1>they both went through the table that was in the
<v Speaker 1>ring for the contract signing. So security pulls Lessner in
<v Speaker 1>Oba apart, and I'll give you one guess. One guess
<v Speaker 1>what we got. We got a pull apart brawl. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>back Brock into one corner. Brock Oba Brock, Oba back Oba.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know what I'm saying. Back Oba into
<v Speaker 1>the opposite corner. Brock breaks free, He lunges at Oba.
<v Speaker 1>They separate them again. Oba breaks free, he lunges at
<v Speaker 1>Brock pull him away from Brock. Now Brock picks up
<v Speaker 1>one of the office chairs. Now this was scary because
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know how hard he was gonna throw this
<v Speaker 1>chair that chair will fuck you up. You can kill
<v Speaker 1>somebody with that chair. He throws the office chair and
<v Speaker 1>then but takes the chair and he throws it, and
<v Speaker 1>this is how they go off the air. That's it.
<v Speaker 1>It was over. It was a very abrupt ending and
<v Speaker 1>the contract was never signed. Most anticipated contract signing. Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman said, we never even got a sign contract out
<v Speaker 1>of it. These pull aparts are completely overdone. The fans
<v Speaker 1>were into it here because it's brock Lesnar and Obafemi.
<v Speaker 1>You got two big beasts in there. These people want
<v Speaker 1>to see these two men fight, and they did for
<v Speaker 1>about thirty seconds and then it was over. But the
<v Speaker 1>way they positioned this segment, they built this all throughout
<v Speaker 1>the entire night. It was the show closing segment. They
<v Speaker 1>actually got brock Lesnar to hang around until the end
<v Speaker 1>of the show. That almost never happens. The way they
<v Speaker 1>positioned this made you feel as if this is the
<v Speaker 1>main event of WrestleMania, And honestly, of all the matches
<v Speaker 1>on the WrestleMania card, this feels like the main event
<v Speaker 1>of WrestleMania, at least for one of the nights. Do
<v Speaker 1>I think they're going to close the show with it. No,
<v Speaker 1>I happen to think they're going to open up one
<v Speaker 1>of the night's. Probably Night two is what I'm thinking,
<v Speaker 1>because that's the night where the first hour of the
<v Speaker 1>show airs on ESPN. So if I had a venture,
<v Speaker 1>a guess that's where I think that match is going
<v Speaker 1>to take place. But this feels like a WrestleMania main
<v Speaker 1>event here, and the fans are into it. Man, they're
<v Speaker 1>pumped up every time these guys come out, and really
<v Speaker 1>they haven't. They haven't done anything yet with these two
<v Speaker 1>that makes me look at it and go, oh man,
<v Speaker 1>they fucked it all up. Like they've managed not to
<v Speaker 1>fuck this up, and everything they have done has made sense.
<v Speaker 1>They don't want to give too much away. Tonight we
<v Speaker 1>got some physicality, but not too much physicality. Last week
<v Speaker 1>was it last week? Right? They didn't even touch the
<v Speaker 1>Two weeks before that they had Oba go over on Brock.
<v Speaker 1>He looked like a world beater. They've done everything right
<v Speaker 1>so far. They got one more week left. Maybe we'll
<v Speaker 1>get the actual contract signing next week, although you can't
<v Speaker 1>do more than one contract signing in one night, so
<v Speaker 1>take your pick. We either get Brock and Oba actually
<v Speaker 1>signing the contract that they were supposed to sign or
<v Speaker 1>we get Roman in Punk because we had a contract
<v Speaker 1>signing for Cody and Randy, so I don't know why
<v Speaker 1>we wouldn't have one for Roman and Punk. But they
<v Speaker 1>have managed to book this, I think, flawlessly. Of all
<v Speaker 1>the matches heading into this show, they have yet to
<v Speaker 1>make a mistake with these two. I didn't like how
<v Speaker 1>abrupt they went off the air where you know that,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't like. I know they didn't want to give
<v Speaker 1>too much away. They wanted to keep people and that's fine,
<v Speaker 1>not like I kind of missed that. Honestly, there were
<v Speaker 1>many years where we would have episodes of Raw and
<v Speaker 1>to use a Pat McAfee example, go back to the
<v Speaker 1>Attitude era. How many times did you have an episode
<v Speaker 1>of Raw, probably with Stone Cold, that ended with just
<v Speaker 1>mass chaos or people fighting as they went off the
<v Speaker 1>air and Jim Ross screaming and ranting and raving, especially
<v Speaker 1>if it was a go home show to a pay
<v Speaker 1>per view. Right those days where it was just mass
<v Speaker 1>chaos and they left you like, oh no, don't go
<v Speaker 1>off the area, like you're not ready for the show
<v Speaker 1>to end. I haven't felt that way about Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>raw in many, many years, so there's nothing wrong with that,
<v Speaker 1>but it just felt like men they could have given us,
<v Speaker 1>you know, a little bit more there at the end
<v Speaker 1>than what they did. It was a better effort tonight
<v Speaker 1>than what we got on Friday. I know that's a
<v Speaker 1>low bar. I mean that bar is in fucking hell,
<v Speaker 1>I know, but it would have been hard to not
<v Speaker 1>put on a better show than what we had on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>It was a hot start. The punk promo I thought
<v Speaker 1>was excellent, easily my favorite part of the night. The
<v Speaker 1>closing segment a little abrupt, but I still enjoyed it.
<v Speaker 1>And the stuff in the middle was very hit or miss,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the six man tag I thought that was solid.
<v Speaker 1>Everything else pretty much that we got in the middle, eh.
<v Speaker 1>Not really a fan, not really a big fan. I
<v Speaker 1>think nothing overly exciting, but I would say most of
<v Speaker 1>the stuff in the middle at least was decent. Now
<v Speaker 1>they announced that tomorrow morning, nine thirty five am Eastern Time,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Tessitore is going to be on ESPN Get Up
<v Speaker 1>to announce the full card for WrestleMania Night one and
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania Night two. I assume that includes the match order.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they said the match order. They just
<v Speaker 1>said we will know what matches are airing on what night.
<v Speaker 1>So like when I said before, are they doing EO
<v Speaker 1>Sky and Oscar at WrestleMania? Are they not doing it?
<v Speaker 1>We'll know by tomorrow If EO and Oscar have a
<v Speaker 1>match at WrestleMania, it will be announced tomorrow morning. We've
<v Speaker 1>all been figuring that Roman in Punk would get the
<v Speaker 1>main event of Night two because there are people out
<v Speaker 1>there who think, well, Night two is the real main event,
<v Speaker 1>and the World Heavyweight Championship since it was introduced, has
<v Speaker 1>not had the night too main event of WrestleMania, and
<v Speaker 1>it felt like this was going to be the first
<v Speaker 1>time Roman in Punk, right, that's a big main event.
<v Speaker 1>Now that they have introduced is Pat McAfee into this,
<v Speaker 1>and they are clearly this is a priority for them now,
<v Speaker 1>it's a priority for TKO, it's a priority for Ari
<v Speaker 1>Emanuel to get as many eyeballs as possible on that
<v Speaker 1>match and position that match as the biggest match on
<v Speaker 1>the show. It has me wondering if they would flip it,
<v Speaker 1>and if the plan was to do Roman and Punk
<v Speaker 1>on Night two, and if they might switch it and
<v Speaker 1>actually do Cody and Randy on Night two instead, especially
<v Speaker 1>if they have some kind of big angle planned, you know,
<v Speaker 1>for the end of that match. So it's be very
<v Speaker 1>interesting to see what matches air on what nights, But
<v Speaker 1>we will find out tomorrow morning on ESPN. See what
<v Speaker 1>you guys thought of Raw Tonight from Houston, Texas seventy
<v Speaker 1>eight percent thumbs up, twenty two percent thumbs down for
<v Speaker 1>tonight's show. You get those votes in at Sola Monster
<v Speaker 1>on X overwhelmingly positive for tonight. There was enough to
<v Speaker 1>like where I don't disagree with the outcome there. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's fine. I think Punk might come out next
<v Speaker 1>week and cut another pipe bomb. If they don't give
<v Speaker 1>him his Night two main event. He might be upset.
<v Speaker 1>He might go out there and rage again next week.
<v Speaker 1>He was this close from getting Night too, and then
<v Speaker 1>they take it away from him because of Pat McAfee
<v Speaker 1>or Pat McAfee, let's get to your questions here. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>the likes Goull? What was the likes Goll five p
<v Speaker 1>thirty or at seven fifty four? So we will at
<v Speaker 1>least get the one round to be the booker. We
<v Speaker 1>need five more of those super chats up top to
<v Speaker 1>hit the bonus goll or five out of ten on
<v Speaker 1>that we'll start with death. Sife here says, how funny
<v Speaker 1>would it be if Randy Orton drops Pat McAfee with
<v Speaker 1>an RKO and then delivers a punk kick to him
<v Speaker 1>this Friday? I wish they would punk kick that entire angle.
<v Speaker 1>But are they going to do that? No, they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to do that. I can promise you they're not
<v Speaker 1>going to do that. Olivia Hey solo thoughts on Balkan
<v Speaker 1>food have you tried? I have not? I have not.
<v Speaker 1>I tried Borshed many years ago. I think it's a
<v Speaker 1>Ukrainian cuisine, But no, I have not tried Balkan food.
<v Speaker 1>Should I? Robbie h five fifteen minutes in and I've
<v Speaker 1>heard the word receipt three times. Yes, receipt and nepo,
<v Speaker 1>baby and bitch. We should do like a I guess
<v Speaker 1>like a bingo card for WWE. How many times in
<v Speaker 1>a given night do we hear bitch? How many times
<v Speaker 1>do we hear this word? How many times do we
<v Speaker 1>hear that word? What are the common words that would
<v Speaker 1>be on there? Today's episode is sponsored by WIS When

<v Speaker 1>Devin from NJ was punk legitimately getting pot at the
<v Speaker 1>people booing him. I know he was going I know
<v Speaker 1>what he was going for, but all it did was
<v Speaker 1>make me think of Ryan Nemitz's tweet. No, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think he was getting pot about them booing him. He
<v Speaker 1>might have been getting pot about the what chance you know,
<v Speaker 1>which is understandable because they're dumb lakers. Pats triple h
<v Speaker 1>emmanual meeting should be fun after tonight. Electric feel, Electric feel,
<v Speaker 1>Electric feel. I wonder how long it will take them
<v Speaker 1>to rename Raw the Adam Pierce Show. He does make
<v Speaker 1>a lot of appearances on these shows. He is the
<v Speaker 1>star of the show, clearly, Phil with a nine ninety nine.
<v Speaker 1>I missed the old days when Raw would have fireworks
<v Speaker 1>and a good intro. These new intros suck. They do.
<v Speaker 1>They are fucking terrible, dude, they are awful. Row used
<v Speaker 1>to get you pumped up when the show would start.
<v Speaker 1>You have good opening thirty second video, and you'd go
<v Speaker 1>into the pyro, you'd scan the crowd. You'd see everybody
<v Speaker 1>with their signs, everybody cheering and jumping up and down.
<v Speaker 1>And now it's just again very sterile. You know, they
<v Speaker 1>have whatever. The terrible theme the month is that they
<v Speaker 1>use even the songs that aren't necessarily bad songs, they
<v Speaker 1>don't fit raw They picked these songs. They don't fit
<v Speaker 1>the show. You know, they don't get you pumped up
<v Speaker 1>for the show. And it's all the same bullshit. You know,
<v Speaker 1>people doing these fake arrivals in the back as the
<v Speaker 1>announcers talk over that. It's just it's it's garbage. I
<v Speaker 1>fucking hate it. I agree with you one hundred percent.
<v Speaker 1>Aaron says sound of Live in Roxanne's Heads Colliding was bad. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it was. It was. It was very bad. It was
<v Speaker 1>very nasty. Randy Bobandy started binge watching Everybody Loves Raymond.
<v Speaker 1>Saw some episodes as a kid, but now as an adult,
<v Speaker 1>I get and love the humor. Were you're a fan
<v Speaker 1>of the show, I never watched it. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>King of Queens Everybody Loves raym I feel like I
<v Speaker 1>would enjoy those shows. King of Queens. I will see
<v Speaker 1>clips of on like IG, but like I never watched
<v Speaker 1>those shows. Arabian Knight says, slapping the face to Julia,
<v Speaker 1>who has not had a pl match and a US
<v Speaker 1>title has yet to be defended on one, she should quit.
<v Speaker 1>Speed Is on WrestleMania, but no Mellow Ilia or Alistair Black.
<v Speaker 1>I'm holding out a monicum of hope. Carmelo Hayes could
<v Speaker 1>still find his way in, but honestly, after what they
<v Speaker 1>did on Friday, it would feel kind of hollow. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they had a chance to add him, they didn't do it,
<v Speaker 1>and doesn't feel like they're going to. There's still time,
<v Speaker 1>though Dragonov is not getting on Dragonov is not on
<v Speaker 1>Black is not getting on Mello. There might be a
<v Speaker 1>five percent chance. Thank you, brother Randy Bubandi. If someone
<v Speaker 1>ever asks me if there's one first season of a
<v Speaker 1>show to watch, I always say Arrested Development first season
<v Speaker 1>is a masterpiece. Are you going to watch the Malcolm
<v Speaker 1>in the Middle reboot coming out this Friday? I will not.
<v Speaker 1>I will not. I know some people are excited about it.
<v Speaker 1>Theom What was that on Peacock? I think San Juan
<v Speaker 1>Wolf with a twenty dollars super chat, Thank you brother,
<v Speaker 1>and you and Randy Randy with the fifty curiosity and
<v Speaker 1>X clips killed the cat. I watched SmackDown despite the warnings,
<v Speaker 1>and wow, raw has never felt more like a palate
<v Speaker 1>cleanser than it does right now. Yeah, yep it does, Mustafa,
<v Speaker 1>do you think whenever? Do you think whenever competes Don
<v Speaker 1>for the war? Okay, we're gonna have to, Uh, We're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do some translating here. There's some words missing here
<v Speaker 1>from this super chat. Let me re refresh this first
<v Speaker 1>of all. Uh, here we go. Do you think, just
<v Speaker 1>so you guys can know I'm not stroking out here?
<v Speaker 1>Whenever competes Dom for the word title, Ray should turn
<v Speaker 1>heel and help his son win. I feel like Ray
<v Speaker 1>turning heel would break the internet. Raymisterio should not be
<v Speaker 1>going heal. Raymisterio is fifty years old. He's in that
<v Speaker 1>legendary phase now. It would be like John Cena all
<v Speaker 1>over again. Nobody's gonna want to boo Raymisterio. Raymisterio had
<v Speaker 1>a heel run many many many years ago in w
<v Speaker 1>CW is part of the Filthy Animals. A Raymisterio heel turn,
<v Speaker 1>I think would be a terrible idea. La Brian to
<v Speaker 1>me the best Raw since the Road to WrestleMania. SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>needs to step up their game. You think Rock may
<v Speaker 1>show up in the Rains and Punk match, I don't.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a chance, given how many times he
<v Speaker 1>was mentioned tonight, but I stopped predicting a Rock return
<v Speaker 1>a long time ago. I think it's a fool's errand
<v Speaker 1>if you a bank on a Rock return nine times
<v Speaker 1>out of ten, you're just gonna be left disappointed. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say no. Nick Rosso with the nineteen ninety
<v Speaker 1>nine After that Oscar promo, I don't know if it
<v Speaker 1>confirms that she's having a match with EO at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>or not, better not be on an episode of Raw. Also,
<v Speaker 1>after the segment between Living Roxanne, I'm convinced Roxanne is
<v Speaker 1>gonna win money in the bank and cash in on Live.
<v Speaker 1>I could see Roxanne as a money in the bank winner.
<v Speaker 1>Did I mention her as a money in the bank
<v Speaker 1>when I did my prediction show at the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the year. I think I may have Cornell Brian Pat McAfee. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I picked up on that right away, Barry MK. How
<v Speaker 1>does the EO go from being champion last year to
<v Speaker 1>now having no storyline and just being Rhea's friend that
<v Speaker 1>gets beat up. It's called bad creative go astros. The
<v Speaker 1>only time you'll ever hear me say that. Pick one
<v Speaker 1>to turn babyface in twenty twenty six MJF or Gunther.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think either one of them should turn babyface.
<v Speaker 1>If I was forced to pick one, I would go
<v Speaker 1>gun There we had babyface MJF. We do not need
<v Speaker 1>that again, not right now, Randy Bobandy, just out of curiosity,
<v Speaker 1>what do I have to do to get Billy Kidman
<v Speaker 1>on be the booker? To pay me one thousand dollars
<v Speaker 1>because that's the only way he'll ever get into be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. I mean, I've got to have limits, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I've got to put my foot down. There's got to
<v Speaker 1>be some standards here. He was a fine cruiserweight in
<v Speaker 1>WCW for a cup of coffee there. But there are
<v Speaker 1>certain people that simply are not going to be added
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. Super cam fit with a ten
<v Speaker 1>dollars super chat. Today is my birthday, which means it's
<v Speaker 1>your half birthday. Yes, it is have a whiskey for me.
<v Speaker 1>My birthday gift to myself was saving four hundred dollars
<v Speaker 1>on below average by watching from home, saving four hundred
<v Speaker 1>dollars on below average by watching from home. Talking about
<v Speaker 1>the WWE tickets, that sounds like the price of a
<v Speaker 1>single nosebleed seed for an ever episode of Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>Raw Well, Happy birthday, brother, Happy birthday to you, Happy
<v Speaker 1>half birthday to me. I don't have the whiskey here
<v Speaker 1>with me now, maybe tomorrow. Also, he says, I wanted
<v Speaker 1>to see heel Sena face Orton, but as soon as
<v Speaker 1>that match was announced, the nosebleeds went from one fifty
<v Speaker 1>to two fifty been priced out ever since. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>it sucks. I mean it's only gotten worse since then,
<v Speaker 1>and for all to talk about it on TV. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think that indicates that they're going to be lowering them.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're I think they're crazy if they don't,
<v Speaker 1>But I don't think they are. I don't think they're
<v Speaker 1>going to base bearris. Rock Ending Punks four hundred and
<v Speaker 1>thirty four day Rain was terrible. I think Rock Ending
<v Speaker 1>Punks four hundred and thirty four day Rain has stuck
<v Speaker 1>with punk this entire time is what I think. JDFV,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the super chat. Randy, Bobandy with a
<v Speaker 1>fifty dollar goon thar Bomb wanted to send a bow
<v Speaker 1>bandy bomb to celebrate this show after the dumpster fire
<v Speaker 1>of a show we saw on Friday. I know the
<v Speaker 1>bar is set low, but let's take the victories, no
<v Speaker 1>matter how small they are. You got to look for
<v Speaker 1>the victory somewhere. You'll look for them where you can
<v Speaker 1>get them. At least there was stuff on this show
<v Speaker 1>that I genuinely liked. I can't say that for SmackDown Randy,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the bomb. You are the man. Aaron says.
<v Speaker 1>Could this lead to a WWE Rebels versus TKO storyline?
<v Speaker 1>That sounds like a terrible idea. I mean, what is
<v Speaker 1>accomplished by that. I don't even understand what the end
<v Speaker 1>goal of that would be like? Are people excited to
<v Speaker 1>see something like that the WWE Rebels? I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I don't know. I don't know why
<v Speaker 1>that would excite people. New House Media which media match?
<v Speaker 1>Are you looking forward to? Uh? Brack lesnar and Oba
<v Speaker 1>Femi for one. They've sold me on that. I think
<v Speaker 1>that ladder match is going to be pretty crazy. Those
<v Speaker 1>would be the main ones, and then if we actually
<v Speaker 1>get it, EO and Osca. They've been waiting for that
<v Speaker 1>match for a while. Uh, Doctor Scorpio. The world tag
<v Speaker 1>team titles could save wrestling at WrestleMania. Yes, sure, stuff's VIDs.
<v Speaker 1>How many wrestle Mania forty two matches are there now?
<v Speaker 1>Enough for two nights? Yeah? I mean I think the
<v Speaker 1>idea is seven per night. I believe so fourteen The
<v Speaker 1>working Man, Oh He's back, saw fans saying Punk's promo
<v Speaker 1>tonight was generational, says the bar has never been lower
<v Speaker 1>f this shit. Well, I don't use words like generational,
<v Speaker 1>but I did like that promo, and I said it
<v Speaker 1>was more explosive in terms of the material that he
<v Speaker 1>had to use than the actual pipe bomb was the
<v Speaker 1>pipe bomb if you think about it, the original pipe bomb.
<v Speaker 1>It really was him griping about Dwayne getting what he
<v Speaker 1>felt should be his WrestleMania main event, and then talking
<v Speaker 1>about how I'm not on the posters, I'm not on
<v Speaker 1>the cups, I'm not on this, I'm not on that right.
<v Speaker 1>It was very it was more narrowly focused, and then
<v Speaker 1>he talked about the dufast son in law and then
<v Speaker 1>he got his mic cut. Here he was going after
<v Speaker 1>like half a dozen different people. And now you compare
<v Speaker 1>that promo to most promos we get these days on
<v Speaker 1>WWE television night and day. Aaron says, just think with
<v Speaker 1>how bad TKO has messed up with WrestleMania the last
<v Speaker 1>few years, next year it'll be TKO and Saudi having
<v Speaker 1>their hands all over creative. Yes. If we think that
<v Speaker 1>ari Emanuel getting involved and inserting himself into the creative
<v Speaker 1>process is bad, wait until the Crown Prince has a
<v Speaker 1>say over what he wants to see a WrestleMania for
<v Speaker 1>all the money they're probably paying for that show, assuming
<v Speaker 1>the show even happens over there, Wait, things are going.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not so sure. We got Alfonso with a nine
<v Speaker 1>to ninety nine good evening. Solo. Just got back from
<v Speaker 1>the show. I can honestly say it was one of
<v Speaker 1>the better shows that I've been to. We were loud
<v Speaker 1>and it felt like a big party. That's Sempunk promo
<v Speaker 1>was fire. Yeah. The Houston crowd, man, they brought it tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Houston crowd was loud. That was that was good to see.
<v Speaker 1>Base Bears says, has Ray ever won a ladder match?
<v Speaker 1>He is a high flyer. He won the custody of
<v Speaker 1>Dominic ladder match. That's not the most important ladder match
<v Speaker 1>he's ever been in. How can you forget that one?
<v Speaker 1>I can't believe I forgot about the custody? Yeah, has
<v Speaker 1>the exactly? That was the follow up super chat? How
<v Speaker 1>can you forget about? That's the most famous of all
<v Speaker 1>the ladder matches he's ever been a part of. Uh
<v Speaker 1>super Pony. If Triple H gets removed from his position
<v Speaker 1>and is replaced with the t KO stooge, do you
<v Speaker 1>think that would lead to certain wrestlers requesting their release.
<v Speaker 1>I think it depends on how that person runs creative.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a very good chance that if nothing else,
<v Speaker 1>people would wait for their contracts to expire and then
<v Speaker 1>they would go somewhere else. But if that happens, it's
<v Speaker 1>still I mean, I still think that's a good couple
<v Speaker 1>of years down the road. It's impossible to know how
<v Speaker 1>things are going to look at that point. It all
<v Speaker 1>comes down to the bottom line. You know, if prices
<v Speaker 1>don't come down and the product doesn't really improve, numbers
<v Speaker 1>may start to dwindle and how long would they give
<v Speaker 1>Triple H to turn things around? Because you know, he
<v Speaker 1>would be the scapegoat. He's the head of creative even
<v Speaker 1>if other people are part of the problem, right, they
<v Speaker 1>need a scapegoat. He'd be the one in the hot seat. So, like,
<v Speaker 1>as I sit here now, I don't feel as confident
<v Speaker 1>you know, about his position and him in that position
<v Speaker 1>as maybe I was at the beginning where it's like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's rock solid. Yeah, well you're rock solid until you know,
<v Speaker 1>what have you done for me lately? Right? We got benchmarks,
<v Speaker 1>and we have goals, and we have you know, quarterly earnings,
<v Speaker 1>and they have all sorts of things that they you know,
<v Speaker 1>set their expectations for, and if they're not meeting expectations,
<v Speaker 1>somebody's going to have to take the hit for it.
<v Speaker 1>And that would be him. It would be him before
<v Speaker 1>it would be Nick con. You know, he's got to
<v Speaker 1>feel like he's constantly on the hot seat. Bass Bears
<v Speaker 1>Jericho deserved way more world titles in WWE. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean it's kind of surprising he didn't have more than
<v Speaker 1>what he had, especially how long he was there for.
<v Speaker 1>How long was he there for nineteen years something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Bass Bears, I show Speed would have been a great
<v Speaker 1>Speed champion. Donovan Payne Hey solo. What are some underrated
<v Speaker 1>undertaker WrestleMania matches from the Streaks history that are overshadowed
<v Speaker 1>by the later matches with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Well,
<v Speaker 1>one of the first ones that comes to mind is
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania twelve against Diesel. That was actually a pretty good match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it gets enough love, so that would
<v Speaker 1>be one. I think the first Triple H match is
<v Speaker 1>my favorite of the Triple H matches that he had,
<v Speaker 1>honestly first one WrestleMania seventeen. I'll throw that one on there.
<v Speaker 1>And the match with Jake at WrestleMania eight, like it's
<v Speaker 1>not a great match, but I love that match. I
<v Speaker 1>love that match. I love the finish. It's like my
<v Speaker 1>personal preference. Bass Bears says Roz used to feel like
<v Speaker 1>Woodstock sixty nine or ninety nine. It was a party.
<v Speaker 1>As somebody who went to many of those Monday night raws,
<v Speaker 1>it felt like a party every time you went. Alex
<v Speaker 1>with a twenty five Brothers solo. If they truly put
<v Speaker 1>the Cody in Orton match for Mania Sunday. Can you
<v Speaker 1>see a scenario where Orton beats Cody to win the
<v Speaker 1>title and the big ending angle is where Cody officially
<v Speaker 1>turns heel. I don't think Cody is going hel. I
<v Speaker 1>think there's a better chance of the Rock showing up
<v Speaker 1>than Cody going heel or WrestleMania this year. But I
<v Speaker 1>do think that if they save that for the Night
<v Speaker 1>two main event, especially well, really either night, very good
<v Speaker 1>chance that Orton will win the championship, especially now that
<v Speaker 1>they've started this angle. Seems to me that they're going
<v Speaker 1>to want to keep this thing going for a while.
<v Speaker 1>Can't do that if Orton gets beat, right, If he
<v Speaker 1>gets beat and doesn't win the belt, then it kind
<v Speaker 1>of dies at WrestleMania. Brian Finelli put this towards the
<v Speaker 1>purchase of a New York Mets Valore track suit. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna take a lot of those to buy a Valor tracksuit,
<v Speaker 1>let me tell you. But thank you, Brian forgot. They
<v Speaker 1>were selling those Jeremy Rose fifteen to twenty thousand per night,
<v Speaker 1>below last year's ticket sales. If these guys are the
<v Speaker 1>businessmen they think, then lowering ticket prices is common sense,
<v Speaker 1>not the TKO. It's not Remember what Mark Shapiro said
<v Speaker 1>last year. I believe he used the word elasticity. They're
<v Speaker 1>very elastic in their ticket pricing. They feel they could
<v Speaker 1>go even higher. There's room to go even higher, he said.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says Oscar versus EO Sky should be a
<v Speaker 1>false count anywhere match. No, why would that match be
<v Speaker 1>a false count anywarre match? Bass Beerers says cmpunk lost
<v Speaker 1>a fight to Michael Jackson. Yes he did. I forgot
<v Speaker 1>about that, right, it was Mickey gall and then I
<v Speaker 1>think it was Michael Jackson solo wearing a Velor tracksuit.
<v Speaker 1>Would you like to see me open up one of
<v Speaker 1>the streams wearing a Valor tracksuit wearing some velvet Actually
<v Speaker 1>I have a velvet purple velvet blazer. I look like
<v Speaker 1>the Joker when I wear it, or I don't wear
<v Speaker 1>it that much. Ronan with the ten dollars for chat
<v Speaker 1>the last Ronan fun fact. The original pipe bomb was
<v Speaker 1>what got me back into pro wrestling. From there, I
<v Speaker 1>got into all the dirt sheets and even subscribed to
<v Speaker 1>the Observer. But that is also when I found the
<v Speaker 1>sound off. See that's like striking gold that's more important
<v Speaker 1>than the SoundOff, or more important than the observer is
<v Speaker 1>the SoundOff. So that would have been what twenty eleven,
<v Speaker 1>You've been hanging with me for a while, Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>Ronan soloing with Regret, Aaron says, both women's World champions
<v Speaker 1>from forty one may miss forty two. Who is the
<v Speaker 1>women Who is the WWE Women's Champion? Oh, Tiffany. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's looking very likely, although I'm kind of hopeful that
<v Speaker 1>maybe Bianca makes a special appearance in WrestleMania. Jeremy says
<v Speaker 1>Russev in the ladder match, talk about square peg in
<v Speaker 1>a round hole. Ray Phoenix added, would be fire. What
<v Speaker 1>if the TKO stooge and storyline is Vince then this
<v Speaker 1>company is completely fucked, completely fucked in the head. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>What must Ray Phoenix be feeling right now? Like they
<v Speaker 1>open up that sixth spot. It would have been perfect
<v Speaker 1>for him, But he's on the other show. They don't
<v Speaker 1>have any SmackDown guys in the ladder match, and he's
<v Speaker 1>just on the sidelines watching this. He's got his brothers
<v Speaker 1>in there, Ramisterio's in there, Dragon Lee is in there.
<v Speaker 1>He's just sitting at home going. Man, what do I
<v Speaker 1>gotta do? What do I gotta do? I'm posting all
<v Speaker 1>these pictures on social media of me in a straight
<v Speaker 1>jacket trying to get out of my AW contract. They
<v Speaker 1>finally get out, I go to WWE, and now I'm
<v Speaker 1>sitting on the sidelines retro Koh does the Does Ari
<v Speaker 1>Emanuel take over Creative and tell Cody to shave his
<v Speaker 1>head and go by the name Spartacus. He's got to
<v Speaker 1>get an earring too. Don't forget that? Is that the
<v Speaker 1>point in which Cody takes the WWE championship and mails
<v Speaker 1>it to Tony Kahan and then he goes back to
<v Speaker 1>AW as the real world champion, that she would be
<v Speaker 1>a hell of an angle comes into the real world
<v Speaker 1>champion fused with MJF. Jeremy says, so Orton, so Orton,
<v Speaker 1>Magafee versus Cody and Punk at back clash. Oh God,
<v Speaker 1>I guess it beats Cody and Jelly Roll. Aaron says,
<v Speaker 1>solo your disco Inferno. Slash Rock was early twenty tens.
<v Speaker 1>Matt Hardy with his cryptic social media videos some of
<v Speaker 1>your more underrated rants. There were a lot of good
<v Speaker 1>ones from around that time period. There's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>dumb shit going on. That's a pretty good one on
<v Speaker 1>Friday too. Anyway, Aaron, thank you for the I forgot
<v Speaker 1>that was still on poor rocks in I got CTE
<v Speaker 1>just listening to that. We are nine out of ten.
<v Speaker 1>Look at that on the bonus goal, we only need
<v Speaker 1>one more ten dollars or above super Chat. But right
<v Speaker 1>now we are guaranteed one round to be the booker
<v Speaker 1>because we are well over eight hundred and thirty likes
<v Speaker 1>and counting, getting close to a thousand. Not bad. Right
<v Speaker 1>now we got the one round. Let's do it. Let's
<v Speaker 1>be the booker. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. Here we go. It is time
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. Find out what kind of matches
<v Speaker 1>can we book on a Monday night? Is it great
<v Speaker 1>to be alive on a Tuesday morning? I should say
<v Speaker 1>here in New York? Not really. We begin with American males.
<v Speaker 1>We got American males, and we also, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>just hit the bonus goal. Hell yeah plus Ultra Adrian
<v Speaker 1>ten dollars super Chat to activate super Cyan Sina. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you plus Ultra Adrian. That means we get two rounds
<v Speaker 1>to be the Booker. You could thank him for that.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we get three, depends how long we go with
<v Speaker 1>this American males kicking us off. I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know about this American males against Money Incorporated. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, all right, I like that. I could live
<v Speaker 1>with that. Women's beat the booker. Maybe we could book
<v Speaker 1>EO and Oscar before WWE does. Nope, we got soul
<v Speaker 1>Ruca who beat Zaria Stand and Deliver the other night.
<v Speaker 1>Zaria just can't win a match. Soul Ruka and lash legend. Well,
<v Speaker 1>if there's an NXTAM matchup I've ever heard one, that'll
<v Speaker 1>be airing on the CW this Tuesday at eight pm.
<v Speaker 1>And our main events Roman and Punk, Cody and Randy
<v Speaker 1>and now Caine, not just any Kane, og Caine the
<v Speaker 1>night he ripped the door off the Hinges. Cane the
<v Speaker 1>best Cane should have been champion for longer than twenty
<v Speaker 1>four hours. Caane Live. Morgan gives you her room key.
<v Speaker 1>Now pick a stipulation. Okay, I guess we're picking a
<v Speaker 1>step for this match. You know, Inferno matches in here somewhere,
<v Speaker 1>but it will be a strap match. Cain will be
<v Speaker 1>bound by the wrist. I don't think Caine has ever. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>that's not true. Caine won the Intercontinental title in a
<v Speaker 1>strap match, didn't he from Triple H many years ago?
<v Speaker 1>Cain against Andre the Giant in a strap match. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if Andre ever had a strap match. We
<v Speaker 1>know Cain has had one. How about that Cain and Andre.
<v Speaker 1>I think Caine picks him up and body slams him.
<v Speaker 1>I think so he body slammed the great Colleie of
<v Speaker 1>wrestle Media one year wherever? I was that? What WrestleMania?
<v Speaker 1>Would that have been twenty two? No? Not twenty two,
<v Speaker 1>twenty three, twenty three? I remember? How's that for a
<v Speaker 1>fantasy match? A little delayed reaction there, Clan Sweet it
<v Speaker 1>was twenty three, okay. I guess that was their way
<v Speaker 1>in detroit Ford field of recreating the Hogan Andre slam,
<v Speaker 1>having Kane slam Collie. See. I think they should have
<v Speaker 1>gotten Hogan to be at WrestleMania twenty three, right, WrestleMania three,
<v Speaker 1>wrestle Media twenty three. They should have gotten Hogan against
<v Speaker 1>Collie and then they could have had Hogan pick up
<v Speaker 1>Collie and slam the Giant again. Would Hogan would his
<v Speaker 1>back have been able to withstand a body slam to
<v Speaker 1>the Great Colleague in two thousand and seven. That I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure. But now put that out of the way.
<v Speaker 1>We have a second round be the booker where we
<v Speaker 1>pick all stipulations. Now for these matches. A table match. Alright,
<v Speaker 1>so we're gonna have a tag team table match. It
<v Speaker 1>looks like MS and Damien Sandau so mis dow a
<v Speaker 1>tag team table match against the Rockers. Okay, Rockers and
<v Speaker 1>miss now Money Inc. And American Males. These are not
<v Speaker 1>marquee matches, but I give him the bell. I'd bell
<v Speaker 1>those matches. Why not? All right? We got a barbed
<v Speaker 1>wire steel cage match. Barbed wire steel cage Tony Kahn
<v Speaker 1>special here. He loves this. He loved this. We're doing
<v Speaker 1>a women's barbed wire steel cage match, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>with Victoria. It's poor ladies. I don't think she's ever
<v Speaker 1>been in one of these before. She would love this.
<v Speaker 1>Victoria and Tony Storm made barbed wire cage match. I
<v Speaker 1>think you would love that. You ever saw the Hollywood
<v Speaker 1>ending match dipped her fists in the glass with Mariah
<v Speaker 1>May Whatever happened to that Mariah May girl? I miss Her.
<v Speaker 1>There's a girl in NXT who looks an awful lot
<v Speaker 1>like her, calling herself Blake, but she keeps losing. Just
<v Speaker 1>lost to Tatum Paxley the other day. Now it looks
<v Speaker 1>like she's going to join the Vanity Project. At our
<v Speaker 1>main event. We gotta pick a stip for our main event.
<v Speaker 1>It will be three Stages of Hell HM, which means
<v Speaker 1>we have to spin again and pick three different stipulations
<v Speaker 1>for three Stages of Hell. And so let's find out
<v Speaker 1>what our stipulations are going to be Match number one?
<v Speaker 1>How are you starting with this? So? I want somebody
<v Speaker 1>to keep note of this so I don't forget what
<v Speaker 1>the stipulations are. An exploding barbed wire death match is
<v Speaker 1>the opening stipulation of three Stages of Hell. You talk
<v Speaker 1>about blowing your load here at the very beginning. How
<v Speaker 1>is that out the last round of a three Stages
<v Speaker 1>of Hell match. So we're gonna go from exploding barbed
<v Speaker 1>wire death match to an APA Invitational. Did you see
<v Speaker 1>the easter Bunny today? By the way, I felt bad
<v Speaker 1>for the Easter bunny. Easter bunny head. He's got a
<v Speaker 1>giant bunny head on, but I could see through the
<v Speaker 1>bunny head. I could just see the look on this
<v Speaker 1>guy's face, like, what the fuck am I doing here?
<v Speaker 1>All right, So the APA Invitational is going to follow.
<v Speaker 1>This is basically just a giant barroom brawl where the
<v Speaker 1>Easter Bunny happens to be there, and then we're going
<v Speaker 1>to end. We go from an exploding barbed wire death
<v Speaker 1>match in the first fall to a Molotov cocktail match
<v Speaker 1>in the final fall. So basically, somebody is going to die,
<v Speaker 1>is what I'm getting out of this. Three stages of
<v Speaker 1>this is truly three stages of hell. At least, Be
<v Speaker 1>the Booker has gone very dark. Be the booker has
<v Speaker 1>a very sixth sense of humor. Tonight great greatest match ever.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know about that. I don't envy whoever these
<v Speaker 1>people end up being in this match. I don't end up.
<v Speaker 1>I don't envy who these people end up being. It's
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys. Everybody remember him. Royce Keys is going to
<v Speaker 1>be one half of our main event. I'm booking him
<v Speaker 1>more than WWE is. At least on TV. You're giving
<v Speaker 1>Tony Kahan ideas and it will be Royce Keys against
<v Speaker 1>Oba Hemy. Oh my goodness, Royce Keys and Oba Femi exploding,
<v Speaker 1>barbed wire deathmatch, APA Invitational, Molotov cocktail match, and all
<v Speaker 1>I can think of when I hear those three stipulations,
<v Speaker 1>Vince Russo has struck again. I wish those men well
<v Speaker 1>because someone's not making it out of their alive. That's
<v Speaker 1>all I can say. Hey, milk bath, milk milk bath,
<v Speaker 1>milk bath, just subscribe, all right. That's that's a type
<v Speaker 1>of bath that you will never see me taking. I
<v Speaker 1>don't dabble in the milk, uh, super pony. I know
<v Speaker 1>the punk promo was a work, but I can't imagine
<v Speaker 1>our Emmanuel is happy about the ticket prices comment. I
<v Speaker 1>highly doubt that was approved by Triple H. Well, whether
<v Speaker 1>it was or it wasn't, I think it's a stupid
<v Speaker 1>thing to bring up. If they're not actually going to
<v Speaker 1>lower ticket prices, that would be the funniest part of
<v Speaker 1>the whole thing. If he basically went into business for
<v Speaker 1>himself with that comment and they have no intention of
<v Speaker 1>actually lowering ticket crisis, that would be funny. Devin, did
<v Speaker 1>Triple H have a bigger impact inside or outside the ring? Outside? Outside,
<v Speaker 1>and that includes when he was a wrestler. If you
<v Speaker 1>catch my drift. Triple H is the reason why the
<v Speaker 1>Montreal screwjob avan, if history is to be believed. I
<v Speaker 1>know Cornett has said it was his idea. Russo has
<v Speaker 1>said it was his idea, you know. But there have
<v Speaker 1>been stories about the midweek phone call that Vince was
<v Speaker 1>on with Sean and Triple H, and Sean was crying, well,
<v Speaker 1>just do whatever you want. We'll do whatever Triple H
<v Speaker 1>is like now, if he doesn't want to do business,
<v Speaker 1>we'll do business for him. For that reason alone, he's
<v Speaker 1>had more influence outside the ring. Oh look at what
<v Speaker 1>that one incident yielded. Doctor Scorpio. Be the booker is
<v Speaker 1>saving professional wrestling tonight. That's right, Fuck Pat McAfee. Be
<v Speaker 1>the booker is saving pro wrestling. Luis says, Wow, Dan
<v Speaker 1>Housen has cursed you, Solomn and then curse me. He
<v Speaker 1>cursed Be the booker, and dry Chicken says those wrestlers
<v Speaker 1>will need to get medical attention after three stages of hell.
<v Speaker 1>I think you get you have to get a medical examiners,
<v Speaker 1>which you're gonna have to get with a couple of
<v Speaker 1>body bags. I think ob Obafemi and uh Royce keys though,
<v Speaker 1>if you're gonna pick two guys who could probably withstand
<v Speaker 1>those stipulations. I feel pretty confident about those two anyway.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, guys. There's been a fun stream, a more
<v Speaker 1>enjoyable episode of television than Friday was anyway, but a
<v Speaker 1>fun stream tonight. We got a lot more content coming
<v Speaker 1>your away this week. A few hours I'll be recording
<v Speaker 1>episode nine of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, which I expect
<v Speaker 1>all of you to be seated for tomorrow when it
<v Speaker 1>drops later in the afternoon. If you're not subscribed, make
<v Speaker 1>sure you're subscribed to the arial hell Wani Show feed,
<v Speaker 1>or you can find the Uncrowned Wrestling Show feed. There
<v Speaker 1>is a dedicated feed now for it on Apple, Spotify
<v Speaker 1>and wherever you get your podcast. I'm gonna try to
<v Speaker 1>wait until after the announcements are made on ESPN tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>morning of what the WrestleMania lineups are going to be,
<v Speaker 1>so we could talk about that tomorrow and the fallout
<v Speaker 1>from Raw tonight. And yes, I saw the Alberto del
<v Speaker 1>dipshit news. I'm sure I'll talk about that tomorrow as well,
<v Speaker 1>so that will be on Uncrowned. Super Pony says, who
<v Speaker 1>does Cornett hate more? Russo or Kevin Steen. Russo, I've
<v Speaker 1>never heard him wish death on Kevin Stein. I've never
<v Speaker 1>heard him wish death on Kenny Omega. I've never heard
<v Speaker 1>him wish death on the Buccaroos. I've heard him wish
<v Speaker 1>death multiple times on Vince Russell. So I'm gonna say,
<v Speaker 1>Russell seems like a slam dunk to me anyway on
<v Speaker 1>Crowned Tomorrow TNT Tomorrow Night Over on JD's channel, and
<v Speaker 1>then we have Dynamite and we got smacked down, and
<v Speaker 1>then it's gonna be Wrastlemania the following week. Can you
<v Speaker 1>believe it? Rasselemania is almost here, so they're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>very very busy. Be well, stay safe of yourselves, a
<v Speaker 1>great rest of your night, and come on back next time.
<v Speaker 1>We'll do it all over again right here on the
<v Speaker 1>Sound Up channel. Until then, take care, guys,
