<v Speaker 3>all the news alerts, Yeah, all the Facebook posts the
<v Speaker 3>breaking news on the TV. Today is Katie's birthday. It's
<v Speaker 3>my birthday month.
<v Speaker 1>You guys made me feel so special too.
<v Speaker 4>I just want to say, like, coming into the studio,
<v Speaker 4>I'm not kidding the you know, the front of the
<v Speaker 4>top of the counter was lined with gifts for me
<v Speaker 4>from both of you and made me feel so special.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not gonna lie and just like really nice, thoughtful
<v Speaker 4>gifts too. I love positive pens, which has been kind
<v Speaker 4>of a funny thing in the studio. There are pens
<v Speaker 4>that have little positive affirmations written on them, and Josh
<v Speaker 4>found them and got me new positive pens. Jeremy, you
<v Speaker 4>got me a cookbook that has foul language in.
<v Speaker 2>It the kitchen.
<v Speaker 1>Love it so much.
<v Speaker 4>You got me a gift card to one of my
<v Speaker 4>favorite spots. You got me a gift card to my
<v Speaker 4>favorite restaurant. Josh like it just you got spoiled today,
<v Speaker 4>I really did, and you just started off the day
<v Speaker 4>so great for me. So thank you both, Like seriously,
<v Speaker 4>truly you made a girl feel great on your birthday.
<v Speaker 4>So thank you so much.
<v Speaker 1>Complish both, very sweet, you so much.
<v Speaker 2>My wife for reminding me that today birthday had.
<v Speaker 4>A special shout out to both Nick Knack and Jenny
<v Speaker 4>because I found out that both of the lovely ladies
<v Speaker 4>in your life helped get these gifts together.
<v Speaker 1>Of course they did, of course, of course they did.
<v Speaker 1>Is there amazing women as well? Helpless on our own everybody?
<v Speaker 1>I was, it's so sweet.
<v Speaker 3>I got you the Thug Kitchen cookbook. Then I was like,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know what else? And then next like, why
<v Speaker 3>don't you run over to TJ Max? And since you
<v Speaker 3>love TJ Max and give so I will see say
<v Speaker 3>that I haven't been into a TJ Max and years.
<v Speaker 3>And the one down by me that I went into
<v Speaker 3>that was a pretty awesome store.
<v Speaker 2>Like I went in there and I wandered around for
<v Speaker 2>like forty five minutes. They have a lot of fun
<v Speaker 2>I have to look.
<v Speaker 1>At see, like when I talk about what I've got
<v Speaker 1>like two hours to kill? What am I gonna go?
<v Speaker 2>I can't give anymore?
<v Speaker 3>Like I left with new kitchen towels. I bought a
<v Speaker 3>couple of kitchen towels and some new throw pillows.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, and I almost left with some glasses.
<v Speaker 4>And they have the best dressing rooms because the lighting
<v Speaker 4>is so great. So that's why I have all the
<v Speaker 4>fashion shows that I do when I like try on
<v Speaker 4>clothes and take videos.
<v Speaker 2>TJ Max is so good. I picked up my mom
<v Speaker 2>something from Mother's Day.
<v Speaker 1>While I was.
<v Speaker 2>There, I was like, I had no idea about this store.
<v Speaker 4>It stocked, you can walk around for hours.
<v Speaker 3>So I got to ask you, I know you're into
<v Speaker 3>freebies and stuff, so are you going to try to
<v Speaker 3>go out today Today's day where you.
<v Speaker 2>Get a bunch of free loot? Right?
<v Speaker 4>You know, there are quite a few places that will
<v Speaker 4>give you something free on your birthday, and I was
<v Speaker 4>very excited about it. I was actually compiling a list
<v Speaker 4>because I was going to go make a little video
<v Speaker 4>of me going to all the places getting all the
<v Speaker 4>free things for my birthday.
<v Speaker 1>And then I was chatting.
<v Speaker 4>With the baby Nana and she's like, Mom, you know
<v Speaker 4>you have to download all the apps to get free stuff, right.
<v Speaker 4>She knows I hate downloading apps because they take up
<v Speaker 4>space on my phone.
<v Speaker 1>I don't like I just it's not my thing.
<v Speaker 4>Right, And so she was telling me weeks ago I
<v Speaker 4>needed to do this because she said some of them
<v Speaker 4>make you have them for a while before they'll get.
<v Speaker 2>I go to start birthday, ye free star.
<v Speaker 4>I don't have the Starbucks app, but apparently you need
<v Speaker 4>to have it seven days.
<v Speaker 1>Before in order for system. So there's a few that
<v Speaker 1>you know you need an app.
<v Speaker 4>And thankfully I actually have the Mickey's app on my
<v Speaker 4>phone for whatever reason.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna have to figure that out.
<v Speaker 2>But sure you do, Like why wouldn't I go?
<v Speaker 1>Come on?
<v Speaker 2>What other places where you're gonna go to?
<v Speaker 4>There's like, you know, like Crumble Cookie, there's a place
<v Speaker 4>you can go. Oh my god, which my favorite? So
<v Speaker 4>Hooking Reel, which is the seafood Boil. Like the bags
<v Speaker 4>they give you a free lobster, they give you a.
<v Speaker 1>Free seafood boil. Like there you have to go. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you can't just take that, uh they cantle.
<v Speaker 2>I wish they had.
<v Speaker 4>The lower like you know, it's just like the shrimp
<v Speaker 4>with the potatoes in the corn.
<v Speaker 2>Still it's free.
<v Speaker 4>You would like add stuff into it, but oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 4>it's like a twenty dollars you know, freaking.
<v Speaker 1>So it's very nice.
<v Speaker 4>Any desserts, there's lots of desserts you can go to.
<v Speaker 1>I think Crumble Cookie has one.
<v Speaker 4>There's the Cheesecake Factory, but got the a cheesecake factory
<v Speaker 4>piece ofcakes.
<v Speaker 2>I'm very excited about that one.
<v Speaker 4>So yeah, a few desserts, I know, Olive Garden. But
<v Speaker 4>then again, here's the thing. Here's my conundrum about going
<v Speaker 4>in and getting a free thing on your birthday is
<v Speaker 4>do I just walk into the og and be like, hey,
<v Speaker 4>I'm here for my free dessert nothing else?
<v Speaker 2>Bag it up?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, Like I don't even want to breadstick the kitchen.
<v Speaker 2>I think you can wander and be like, give you
<v Speaker 2>the cake.
<v Speaker 1>Is that how that works?
<v Speaker 2>It's my birthday?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know how it all works as far as
<v Speaker 4>going to get my free stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And this is not something I can say.
<v Speaker 2>Because it just seemed kind of moochy.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't and I get embarrassed.
<v Speaker 4>So a lot of times I'd ask someone to do
<v Speaker 4>it for me, like you go in there and get
<v Speaker 4>that for me, But it doesn't work on your birthday,
<v Speaker 4>Like it's your birthday. You have to be the one
<v Speaker 4>who asks for it. So I'm still figuring this out,
<v Speaker 4>Like I was pretty gung ho about doing it, and
<v Speaker 4>now I'm like, maybe I'll just go get my free
<v Speaker 4>thing from Saphora.
<v Speaker 1>Do you get there to get like a mini makeup kit.
<v Speaker 2>From Sephora that I want to sign up for that
<v Speaker 2>that one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm excited to know that meeting.
<v Speaker 4>And I do believe I have the Sephora app on
<v Speaker 4>my phone, so I should be good to go there.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, if you know of a place I can
<v Speaker 4>go and not have to download the app, please tell
<v Speaker 4>me because I would love to go there, right three
<v Speaker 4>or three six nine one sixteen forty nine? Text me
<v Speaker 4>tell me where I can go to get the freebies
<v Speaker 4>without the app. That's what I'm looking for.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Well, good luck, Happy birthday.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks guys.
<v Speaker 3>Six one hundred, Well, hallelujah.
<v Speaker 2>JKJ made it back in for a fun Monday coming
<v Speaker 2>up in about an hour, we're gonna dive into Fast five.
<v Speaker 2>Be ready to call in. Shoot, I remember what we
<v Speaker 2>had up for grabs today? Did I have to print
<v Speaker 2>that out for you? What do we have up for
<v Speaker 2>grabs today? It was on a print out I gave
<v Speaker 2>you right there in front of you. I have it
<v Speaker 2>on here.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, you're right, we have four Fast five. Oh
<v Speaker 1>that's right. It's the tickets to see Whiz Khalifa.
<v Speaker 2>That's what it is. Get stoned. Let's send some people
<v Speaker 2>off to get stoned at red right, that.
<v Speaker 4>Four twenty show's amazing though he's been doing that for
<v Speaker 4>a minute, and yeah, whiz Khalifa, those are some good days.
<v Speaker 2>Get your wiz on this morning in about an hour
<v Speaker 2>when we play.
<v Speaker 4>Actually April nineteenth, though it's the day before four well,
<v Speaker 4>close enough, still.
<v Speaker 2>Close enough, you'll still be getting stoned there, exactly.
<v Speaker 1>It's that kind of show.
<v Speaker 2>How about those Nuggets? Huh they clinched.
<v Speaker 1>Right playoff three seeds? Off three seed. Looks like we're
<v Speaker 1>taking on the Timberwolves again.
<v Speaker 2>It's always the timber Timberwolves.
<v Speaker 4>But we you know, we're healthy, We're playing the right
<v Speaker 4>kind of basketball at the right time.
<v Speaker 1>So absolutely, let's go Nuggets.
<v Speaker 2>It's exciting.
<v Speaker 4>Nicola is playing ridiculous basketball, insane basketball, and so is
<v Speaker 4>Jamal Murray.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Jogics just set the record.
<v Speaker 5>He's the only player of all time in NBA history
<v Speaker 5>to record a or lead the league in assist per
<v Speaker 5>game and rebounds per game.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, that is the most exciting thing.
<v Speaker 5>And it's absolutely absurd that he probably won't be walking
<v Speaker 5>away with the m v P Trophy this year.
<v Speaker 4>I did insane, It makes no sense, but I'm don't
<v Speaker 4>understand this all respect for media members who didn't vote
<v Speaker 4>for him, because who wouldn't Who wouldn't vote for the
<v Speaker 4>best basketball player on the plane? I don't get me started,
<v Speaker 4>but yeah, I mean still, it's a very good look
<v Speaker 4>for our Denver Nuggets and our sports in the mind
<v Speaker 4>High City.
<v Speaker 1>In Colorado in general. I mean, we are doing it.
<v Speaker 1>Do you Pioneers getting it done over the weekend?
<v Speaker 2>Eleven times?
<v Speaker 4>The Avalanche, the Mammot, the Nuggets, they are all just
<v Speaker 4>killing it.
<v Speaker 1>And the Rockies even look kind of good. What let's go.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's a good time to be a sports fan
<v Speaker 3>in Colorado. Yeah, Jersey, I know in PMI coming up
<v Speaker 3>here in a few minutes. We'll talk about the old
<v Speaker 3>Avs coach too, I know.
<v Speaker 2>And his face a beautiful face.
<v Speaker 5>He's got such a beautiful face.
<v Speaker 3>Speaking of basketball, my son wrapped up his basketball season
<v Speaker 3>over the weekend. Is a little three on three season,
<v Speaker 3>and I think I think we're done. I think we're
<v Speaker 3>moving on from basketball now.
<v Speaker 2>Really, after years and years of the b ball and
<v Speaker 2>the squeaky shoes, he's.
<v Speaker 1>No longer a baller.
<v Speaker 4>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's time.
<v Speaker 3>I think he's kind of getting burnt out on it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting a little burn out.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, so I felt bad because he had his
<v Speaker 3>last two games and I was sitting there in the
<v Speaker 3>stands watching the Artemist splash down. That's kind of how
<v Speaker 3>much I was into it. Like I was streaming it.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, this is history.
<v Speaker 1>It's such a nerd But I get that. I get
<v Speaker 1>that that is right up your alley to do it.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, the thing is is, you know your
<v Speaker 1>son is right around.
<v Speaker 4>The age where you really have to find out what
<v Speaker 4>you love and put that passion towards it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's the thing is.
<v Speaker 4>Now he just needs to decide what it is that
<v Speaker 4>he's so passionate about. And you know, just practice makes
<v Speaker 4>perfect no matter what it is you decide to look
<v Speaker 4>at you.
<v Speaker 1>It really does.
<v Speaker 4>So if you're seeing that he's not feeling basketball the
<v Speaker 4>way because I mean, it really likes you wake up,
<v Speaker 4>you practice, you get off school, you do laughs, and
<v Speaker 4>you practice and it is that kind of mentality. So
<v Speaker 4>if he doesn't want to do that for basketball, then
<v Speaker 4>find what he wants to do that for you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think it's time to move on.
<v Speaker 3>I think he's thinking about dipping his toe into like
<v Speaker 3>some track and some crusts.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, we we wrapped it up. He was playoffs too.
<v Speaker 4>Oh hell, I that it's perfect.
<v Speaker 3>So from my son this weekend with his basketball to
<v Speaker 3>birthday weekend for my daughter. Yeah yeah, I think you're
<v Speaker 3>actually more more happy and excited about your birthday than
<v Speaker 3>she was about hers.
<v Speaker 1>But that's cute. That's what's wrong.
<v Speaker 5>What is it?
<v Speaker 1>No, No, it's fine, it's fine.
<v Speaker 4>I was just normal birthday, like it's my month, it's
<v Speaker 4>my month.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it was like an eight hour, nine hour birthday.
<v Speaker 3>Again, it's you know, all the family piles in around
<v Speaker 3>ten to eleven, and then they don't leave until it's
<v Speaker 3>dark out.
<v Speaker 2>The party's going a really long time at my house.
<v Speaker 3>The only reason that everyone kind of packed up and
<v Speaker 3>left was the power went out unexpectedly, like it's seven
<v Speaker 3>thirty or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Oh went out, and everyone's like, well, I guess we're
<v Speaker 2>gonna take off now that's dark and we're lighting candles.
<v Speaker 1>That's our cute.
<v Speaker 2>But it's funny.
<v Speaker 3>You know, you kind of realize that you got a
<v Speaker 3>lot of first world problems. We're very spoiled here in
<v Speaker 3>this country in time because the biggest irritation from the
<v Speaker 3>birthday party over the weekend was Nick Knack went and
<v Speaker 3>purchased a big sheet cake.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, it was a cheerleading theme and so there's, uh,
<v Speaker 2>the it's the edible image on top. Yeah, and it
<v Speaker 2>was wrinkly, so your face.
<v Speaker 3>But it was like the person who was making the
<v Speaker 3>cake close their eyes and then laid the edible image
<v Speaker 3>on there and then just putting butt it in the fringe.
<v Speaker 2>It was like, who.
<v Speaker 3>If you were a little mini surfer, you could have
<v Speaker 3>surfed on it waves. So there we were in the
<v Speaker 3>kitchen with it set out before everybody got there, and
<v Speaker 3>we're trying to pat it down. We had paper towel
<v Speaker 3>on it. We're trying to smooth it. And she's like,
<v Speaker 3>I'm gonna complain. I'm calling the store. I'm gonna complain.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, Babe, once she slice into this thing,
<v Speaker 3>it's like two slices with a knife.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody's gonna carry This will be a memory.
<v Speaker 1>The picture of the cake.
<v Speaker 2>That's what's that's what was important.
<v Speaker 3>Send it to me and I'll show you because it
<v Speaker 3>was it was gnarly looking. So then I was like,
<v Speaker 3>I got a great idea. I'm just gonna wet down
<v Speaker 3>my hand and try to smooth it. So the thing
<v Speaker 3>with those edible images, like when it hits your saliva
<v Speaker 3>or water, they dissolve.
<v Speaker 2>No they yeah, they smear and they dissolve. Oh no,
<v Speaker 2>So listen, if that ever happens to you, guys, don't
<v Speaker 2>use water on your hands. Because I took something that
<v Speaker 2>said cheer and went all the way across.
<v Speaker 1>Its happy birthday gruin.
<v Speaker 2>First world problems right there at Jay Bear's house. We'll
<v Speaker 2>be back in about three and a half minutes with
<v Speaker 2>your PMI here it mix. I think Katie's got the
<v Speaker 2>positive today.
<v Speaker 1>I do.
<v Speaker 4>And if you are an overthinker like me, you are
<v Speaker 4>gonna love this story. Because if you can't sleep, guys,
<v Speaker 4>you're not alone. Yeah, a lot of us can't sleep.
<v Speaker 4>In fact, about thirty percent of us experience trouble falling
<v Speaker 4>or staying asleep, and experts are saying it's because we
<v Speaker 4>worry so much.
<v Speaker 1>We're constantly what are you worry about?
<v Speaker 4>Right now?
<v Speaker 1>Well, here's the thing is.
<v Speaker 4>Last night I was laying in bed and right before
<v Speaker 4>I fell asleep, I'm like, oh my gosh, is my
<v Speaker 4>credit card bill do? And it just and immediately I
<v Speaker 4>grabbed my phone, I looked and made sure that I
<v Speaker 4>wasn't ready for a payment and it was gonna be
<v Speaker 4>late and hit me with the fee. But that kind
<v Speaker 4>of stuff happens to me all the time, and experts
<v Speaker 4>are saying it's because I don't schedule time to worry.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, our brains are gonna worry no matter what.
<v Speaker 4>So whether it's we're right about ready to go to
<v Speaker 4>sleep and all of a sudden our brain hit some
<v Speaker 4>kind of responder where it's like, no, you've got this,
<v Speaker 4>Wait a minute, there's this.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna do that if we don't do it for
<v Speaker 1>it now.
<v Speaker 4>They're saying, if you schedule time to worry throughout the day,
<v Speaker 4>you waking up in pure panic mode because you forget
<v Speaker 4>to do something, it's gonna happen less less often. So
<v Speaker 4>if it's just something that you build into your day,
<v Speaker 4>your brain is gonna get used to focusing on your
<v Speaker 4>worries at that specific time of day and it's not
<v Speaker 4>gonna alert you in the middle of a sleep.
<v Speaker 2>A bad idea.
<v Speaker 4>I love it, they're saying. Also, because is your bed,
<v Speaker 4>it should be just for sleeping. You shouldn't be worrying
<v Speaker 4>in there. You shouldn't be eating, you shouldn't be doing
<v Speaker 4>things that other than reading, and they're saying that's a
<v Speaker 4>good activity to do it like that.
<v Speaker 1>Your bed should be well. I get okay, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>thank you. I'm sorry. It glazy.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of sleep.
<v Speaker 4>Tell me a lot about But when it comes to overthinking,
<v Speaker 4>you definitely should not do that in bed, and you
<v Speaker 4>should schedule time to do it and it'll help you out.
<v Speaker 2>It's not a bad idea. It's probably legit.
<v Speaker 3>It sounds silly, like, Okay, today at one o'clock, I'm
<v Speaker 3>going to sit on my couch and worry about everything.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody talk to me. I'm worrying for like the next hour.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to worry.
<v Speaker 4>I think this is amazing because I do happen to
<v Speaker 4>worry like throughout the day. It'll just hit me, it
<v Speaker 4>really will, like without any notice. It'll hit me if I.
<v Speaker 1>Can schedule it, and I've been doing it the last
<v Speaker 1>couple of days.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know, with a list too. I would think
<v Speaker 2>that you write down your worry.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and you got like a spiral notebook and it's there,
<v Speaker 3>it's written down.
<v Speaker 2>It's not on your mind.
<v Speaker 3>That's probably paired with that would be really beneficial you with.
<v Speaker 1>The pro tip pro tip on top of the positive.
<v Speaker 1>Thanked you.
<v Speaker 2>You're rubbing off on me. Okay, who's got the minus?
<v Speaker 5>Josh I got the minus today and it's talking Avs hockey,
<v Speaker 5>which is a bummer because normally it's a very positive
<v Speaker 5>thing with them. But Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar. Over
<v Speaker 5>the weekend, they were taking on the Vegas Golden Knights
<v Speaker 5>and an arrant puck from Keegan Colosar's stick went over
<v Speaker 5>the boards and actually drilled him in the face so
<v Speaker 5>much so that it caused him to collapse in pain.
<v Speaker 5>He did not lose consciousness or anything, but he dropped
<v Speaker 5>to the ground holding his face and he was taken
<v Speaker 5>with the team doctor back to the locker room.
<v Speaker 2>He's actually gonna miss some time.
<v Speaker 5>It's kind of it's not funny what happened, but it's
<v Speaker 5>funny hearing this that the head coach is out with injury.
<v Speaker 5>He broke an orbital bone in his face and also
<v Speaker 5>has an eye abrasion, a corneil abrasion, so it's messed
<v Speaker 5>up something with his cornea. So he's gonna miss the
<v Speaker 5>game in Edmonton. And then Algary. They're hoping to have
<v Speaker 5>him back for the final home game of the season
<v Speaker 5>when they take on the Seattle crack and in a
<v Speaker 5>few days here. But that's a scary incident. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>watching your head coach collapse in pain. I've never seen
<v Speaker 5>that before.
<v Speaker 4>Actually, So I was watching that game it went into overtime,
<v Speaker 4>and it like, he is such a tough.
<v Speaker 1>Mama, Jim.
<v Speaker 4>He grew up playing hockey too, Yeah to not like
<v Speaker 4>cry as a puck hits you in the face like
<v Speaker 4>man coach Bednar.
<v Speaker 1>He is a tough one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>He would lose better though, recovery hopefully.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let's wrap things up with the interesting.
<v Speaker 3>I immediately thought of your daughter, baby Nana, when I
<v Speaker 3>saw this story this morning, Katie, because I know she
<v Speaker 3>wants a doggie really really bad, and she's.
<v Speaker 2>Been pushing you to get a dog.
<v Speaker 1>Ye, yes, she has.
<v Speaker 3>New study just came out that says, on average, we
<v Speaker 3>spend about four thousand, two and seventy two dollars a
<v Speaker 3>year for one pet. So just shy of forty three
<v Speaker 3>hundred dollars a year for a pet. Do a little
<v Speaker 3>beet poop pop poop math on that spread it out
<v Speaker 3>over twelve years. You're looking at a little bit more
<v Speaker 3>than fifty thousand dollars over twelve years for one dog
<v Speaker 3>or cat. And that's before anything goes wrong, like my
<v Speaker 3>dog who ate the grape? Yeah, and we had thousands
<v Speaker 3>of dollars worth of medical bills.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's just the bare minimum, bare minimum.
<v Speaker 1>Baby.
<v Speaker 3>They say it doesn't help that vet costs have jumped
<v Speaker 3>about forty three percent in the last five years, and
<v Speaker 3>there's a big chunk of pet owners who are actually
<v Speaker 3>in big time debt right.
<v Speaker 2>Now because of their little fur babies.
<v Speaker 3>They say, gen Z, though, is considering a petless lifestyle.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of them are like, I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>get a set.
<v Speaker 3>I don't want the cost smart that's one thing that
<v Speaker 3>gen Z that I'm on board with with you guys.
<v Speaker 1>So they're not going to have babies or pets.
<v Speaker 2>No babies or pets, just a lot of money and
<v Speaker 2>a lot of free time. Oh damn them, I know
<v Speaker 2>you guys.
<v Speaker 1>Shun a second.
<v Speaker 2>You can do nothing, gen Z. You guys suck. Oh
<v Speaker 2>there's PMI this morning, Positive minus Interesting with Jeremy Katie
<v Speaker 2>Josh mixed one hundred.
<v Speaker 7>It makes one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Well, forget all the celebrity nonsense. I mean, come on.
<v Speaker 3>The Artemis two mission, the crew successfully re entered Earth's atmosphere,
<v Speaker 3>splashed down.
<v Speaker 2>The Pacific Ocean on Friday, right off the San Diego coast. Man.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't stop watching it.
<v Speaker 4>It was a big deal. Like even I was watching
<v Speaker 4>you watch on my couch. I had Love Is Blind
<v Speaker 4>up on the big one and on my phone, I
<v Speaker 4>was watching the Artemis landing.
<v Speaker 1>But it was very inspiring and I liked that I
<v Speaker 1>was being a part of history.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and I didn't realize that there was so much
<v Speaker 4>involved though. First of all, I didn't realize that they
<v Speaker 4>land in the ocean yep. So when that happened, I
<v Speaker 4>was like, oh no, and they're like everything's going according
<v Speaker 4>to plan. I'm like, okay, No, I didn't realize that
<v Speaker 4>that's how went. And then the commentators listening to them
<v Speaker 4>try and fill as they're making their way to the
<v Speaker 4>aircraft or whatever to make sure everyone's okay. Then they
<v Speaker 4>got to bring them and then they have to go
<v Speaker 4>through all the doctor stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's so many things. Do you watch them airlift
<v Speaker 2>them too, Like all the helicopters coming in and pulling
<v Speaker 2>them out. I'm like, what a wild ride for those
<v Speaker 2>four people.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, it was a long time, like it took a
<v Speaker 4>long time for everything to be said and done, but
<v Speaker 4>it was fascinating to watch it all.
<v Speaker 1>So you were right, Jeremy, it's really been right about that.
<v Speaker 3>I was ignoring my family and my son's basketball game
<v Speaker 3>as I was sitting in the bleachers watching that. I
<v Speaker 3>was looking down at my phone for I didn't look
<v Speaker 3>up very much and watch the game.
<v Speaker 2>I was watching that. I was like, this is history.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I watch this, uh anyway, And then yes, like
<v Speaker 3>the them landing back on the Hell Carrier and having
<v Speaker 3>the astronauts there on the ship and then picking up
<v Speaker 3>the capsule out of the water and everything just.
<v Speaker 2>Fascinating and then absolutely fascinating.
<v Speaker 4>I also love I put something in our stories over
<v Speaker 4>the weekend because there was a lot of just women
<v Speaker 4>who were super proud that there was a woman up
<v Speaker 4>there in space. Beast a story that a teacher said
<v Speaker 4>about her little first grade student asked when the astronauts
<v Speaker 4>were going to make it home and if they were
<v Speaker 4>to be okay, and she's like, yeah, they're gonna land
<v Speaker 4>very soon. We're very excited. And she said well, there's
<v Speaker 4>a girl up there. You know, it is so inspiring
<v Speaker 4>for women and people in general.
<v Speaker 1>It was a big moment.
<v Speaker 2>You know her name.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know her name.
<v Speaker 4>No, I just saw a story.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, So from that to Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
<v Speaker 2>So first thing's first.
<v Speaker 3>Bieber did his first headlining set at Coachella. This story
<v Speaker 3>here says it left a lot of fans unsatisfied. They
<v Speaker 3>say he had very minimal efforts up on the stage.
<v Speaker 3>He did a stripped down set, a low key performance, and.
<v Speaker 2>I was just watching some of the videos.
<v Speaker 3>He basically flipped open his laptop, dialed up old YouTube
<v Speaker 3>videos of himself and sang along.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>But people loved it. He became famous on YouTube. That's
<v Speaker 4>how his fans got to know him.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, he played that video yeah, And I will.
<v Speaker 4>Just say, I know the media is tried to spin
<v Speaker 4>it like he was lazy and didn't put any effort
<v Speaker 4>into it. But I'm seeing quotes baby, I know the
<v Speaker 4>baby Nana was there in attention at Coachella and she cried.
<v Speaker 4>She loved it so much, and she's one of the
<v Speaker 4>biggest believers. They were calling it Believeella, like it was
<v Speaker 4>a bib.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and so people are like, he got paid ten
<v Speaker 2>million dollars to walk around the damn stage and do nothing. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but I kind of like that. I liked the minimal.
<v Speaker 2>I'll be on.
<v Speaker 5>I watched the whole thing too, and I grew up
<v Speaker 5>in the biber era uh live while it was happening.
<v Speaker 5>The tweets and the live stream that I saw, people
<v Speaker 5>were very happy.
<v Speaker 2>People were very happy with it.
<v Speaker 5>Maybe afterwards there was this, you know, talking heads, but
<v Speaker 5>I'm here, you go, you.
<v Speaker 1>All right, It's fine, I tell you.
<v Speaker 4>The only complaint Zoe had is people were waiting in
<v Speaker 4>their spots for so long that they were just doing.
<v Speaker 1>It right there on the lawn. Yeah, because they didn't
<v Speaker 1>want to lose their spots. There was a lot of
<v Speaker 1>reports of.
<v Speaker 8>It.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they were doing it right one and two, right
<v Speaker 1>there on the lawn. That makes sense.
<v Speaker 4>They didn't they didn't want to lose their spots. And
<v Speaker 4>so she said that was probably the.
<v Speaker 1>Most cringey thing.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, people are pooping. That wasn't her. It was her.
<v Speaker 1>No, it was not believe we start that rumor. So
<v Speaker 1>I pooped. No, loved it.
<v Speaker 4>I'll show you how close she got to the stage,
<v Speaker 4>and maybe we'll put it up in our stories.
<v Speaker 1>Beaver's performance because she's fun right there, she had the
<v Speaker 1>best time.
<v Speaker 4>I just such a proud mama a little but she
<v Speaker 4>said I wouldn't have liked it. She said, outside of
<v Speaker 4>the actual concerts, there were so many people and so
<v Speaker 4>many lines and so many things.
<v Speaker 1>That I just gripe about. She's like, mom, I would know.
<v Speaker 5>I also heard lemonades. There were seventeen dollars everything. That
<v Speaker 5>ship has sailed for you.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think that I was old thing exactly.
<v Speaker 4>I wanted to go to Coachella at one point in
<v Speaker 4>my life, and I just I feel like that ship
<v Speaker 4>has sailed.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't think it would have been good for you.
<v Speaker 1>That window is no longer open.
<v Speaker 2>You could just run over to watch park and poop
<v Speaker 2>in the park. You don't have to go.
<v Speaker 1>I save so much money.
<v Speaker 2>Geez, need hats some bibrun in the background, and you
<v Speaker 2>can poop in the bark later. All right, it feels
<v Speaker 2>it'll be a fun Instagram video. It really well. Britney
<v Speaker 2>Spears is in rehab. I don't know what else to
<v Speaker 2>really is to say about this, but you know she
<v Speaker 2>had that Duy was it last month. Yeah, if you
<v Speaker 2>follow her on Instagram, she's a mess. So anyway, she
<v Speaker 2>went to rehab rehabrik No, don't sing it, don't sing.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, we do two quick little updates in case you
<v Speaker 5>guys are living under a rock. The Rockies did get
<v Speaker 5>a minority purchased by the Penner Group, so it's the
<v Speaker 5>Penner Sports Group. They obviously own the Denver Broncos and
<v Speaker 5>they bought forty percent of the Colorado Rockies. That is
<v Speaker 5>a huge positive for any Rockies fan out there. It
<v Speaker 5>looks like they will be really trying to turn this
<v Speaker 5>team around. And I think after three decades of almost
<v Speaker 5>abysmal play every single year, you know, Rockies fans always go,
<v Speaker 5>we had O seven. Yeah, it's been dang near twenty
<v Speaker 5>years since two thousand and seven. So this is a
<v Speaker 5>very positive thing that is happening. And then quick shout
<v Speaker 5>out to du as well. They are the eleven time
<v Speaker 5>national champions. They won Saturday over Wisconsin in a crazy
<v Speaker 5>comeback game that I was glued to.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't stop watching. It really really exciting for them.
<v Speaker 5>They won three in the last five years, so that's
<v Speaker 5>a massive dynasty.
<v Speaker 2>So huge shout out to the week.
<v Speaker 1>And do you what nuts over the weekend?
<v Speaker 2>Do you see the video university and just stocked full
<v Speaker 2>of people. People were doing it on the lawn.
<v Speaker 4>That's not what I meant, Jeremy. Okay, So let's move
<v Speaker 4>on to this woman. This happened last week, but it
<v Speaker 4>kind of played itself out over a couple of days
<v Speaker 4>because this woman was struck by lightning in Superior first
<v Speaker 4>of all, okay, and.
<v Speaker 1>When it happened, they didn't know who she was for
<v Speaker 1>a minute.
<v Speaker 4>So this happened on Thursday, and I guess a lightning
<v Speaker 4>strike hit her, hit a tree and her also, and
<v Speaker 4>it did so much damage. First of all, she is
<v Speaker 4>still in critical condition, So thoughts and prayers to her
<v Speaker 4>and her family. But her phone that she had with
<v Speaker 4>her was completely just you know, Yeah, they didn't know
<v Speaker 4>who she was. She had no identification on her, and
<v Speaker 4>they couldn't find out who she was because of her
<v Speaker 4>phone and her fingerprints and everything led to nothing.
<v Speaker 1>So she was in the hospital, I believe for a
<v Speaker 1>full day they had no idea who she was.
<v Speaker 4>So in the news it was like if you know
<v Speaker 4>this woman, she and she was young, she's young, she's
<v Speaker 4>like in her twenties and thirties. I believe they think
<v Speaker 4>they haven't released her identity so she can have her privacy.
<v Speaker 4>But they did find out I believe it was either
<v Speaker 4>late Friday or early Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>Morning who she was.
<v Speaker 4>Her family is now around her and giving the support
<v Speaker 4>that she needs and whatnot. But could you imagine, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I'm out there hiking and walking all the time, and
<v Speaker 4>you know when you start to see those clouds roll
<v Speaker 4>through across the mountains and they start to form those
<v Speaker 4>big old storm clouds, I mean, it can get kind
<v Speaker 4>of dicey.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the thing they're saying, it's not really you know,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people.
<v Speaker 4>Are like, well, you should look at the forecast before
<v Speaker 4>you head out below. Yeah, but those said this one
<v Speaker 4>specifically developed so quickly she didn't have a lot of
<v Speaker 4>time to kind of prepare. And again, thoughts in prayers
<v Speaker 4>to this woman, but just be aware. It is the
<v Speaker 4>stormy you know, March spring season that we see around Colorado,
<v Speaker 4>and they're saying this summer is going to be very
<v Speaker 4>rainy as well, so we could see a lot of
<v Speaker 4>these lightning strikes happen in our area.
<v Speaker 1>But it's a crazy story out of superior. Hey, Guanella Pass.
<v Speaker 4>Doesn't typically open until Memorial Day, but because of the
<v Speaker 4>very warm, slight weather we had over the winter, they're
<v Speaker 4>going to open it on Thursday.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So that is where I saw the big Horn sheep.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, you were up there was snow and I was.
<v Speaker 1>Just at the base of it. So I was just
<v Speaker 1>right out of Georgetown.
<v Speaker 4>It wasn't up top or anything, but yeah, you're absolutely right,
<v Speaker 4>it sure did. And so they're saying that they're going
<v Speaker 4>to open that earlier this year because yeah, they don't
<v Speaker 4>have to do a whole lot of work on the
<v Speaker 4>roads to prepare it like they do every year. I
<v Speaker 4>mean Memorial Day, though, that is quite the early startup.
<v Speaker 1>This Thursday, the.
<v Speaker 2>Sixteenth, it's it is going to be really one. I've
<v Speaker 2>seen some people. They're sprinklers on too. You're not supposed
<v Speaker 2>to be.
<v Speaker 4>Hopefully the spring storms help because they're saying we should
<v Speaker 4>get some moisture in rain values.
<v Speaker 2>But it is everybody's wants. My neighborhood are so sad.
<v Speaker 2>Is this what we have to look forward to this summer?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>Super super dry and then just one more speaking of dry,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if this was caused by the dryness.
<v Speaker 4>I think it was just the rear wheel, duels and
<v Speaker 4>axle on this truck, an Amazon truck.
<v Speaker 1>Saturday night.
<v Speaker 4>It was on the ramp from I twenty five to
<v Speaker 4>Thornton Parkway. I believe, well it caught fire.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like, I love how you're trying to explain that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trying to right.
<v Speaker 2>Whatever that means. Tools and the duels and axles is
<v Speaker 2>what caused.
<v Speaker 1>Their pads worked in there.
<v Speaker 2>Someone pads for sure. Yeah, the pads and axles.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, they did it right there on the lawn.
<v Speaker 2>That's not what happened with the duels, wheels and axles.
<v Speaker 4>Adams County Fire Rescue in the City of for Thornton
<v Speaker 4>Fire Department. They had to extinguish extinguish the semi trailer fire.
<v Speaker 4>So an Amazon truck that just caught fire on Saturday night.
<v Speaker 4>The pictures are pretty insane because you see and you know,
<v Speaker 4>people are like, is my package on.
<v Speaker 2>That stops away?
<v Speaker 1>Never mind a fire? That's exactly what it was.
<v Speaker 4>The good news is they were able to put out
<v Speaker 4>this fire in literally two minutes, like cruise showed up,
<v Speaker 4>put it out, didn't.
<v Speaker 1>Cause any damages.
<v Speaker 4>I believe they even saved all the packages, but they
<v Speaker 4>had smoke on them, so I don't think they were
<v Speaker 4>able to use them.
<v Speaker 1>And the driver was.
<v Speaker 4>Not hurt in this, so nobody was injured in the
<v Speaker 4>whole package. But crews were able to locate the main
<v Speaker 4>body of the fire and extinguish ship.
<v Speaker 2>On the dualdent.
<v Speaker 1>You know all the stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Did you see the big story last week of that
<v Speaker 2>guy who lit that warehouse of toilet paper on fire?
<v Speaker 1>Can?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, the entire warehouse filled with toilet paper, pissed off
<v Speaker 3>that they weren't paying him a living wage. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 3>didn't purpose They filmed himself and the entire place went up.
<v Speaker 1>He thought he was justified. He's like, so many people
<v Speaker 1>are gonna be on my side.
<v Speaker 2>Like, just wait, millions of dollars worth of toilet paper gone,
<v Speaker 2>the robinhood of toilet papers, he thought of. He's like,
<v Speaker 2>is there gonna be a shortage?
<v Speaker 5>No?
<v Speaker 1>I know. Now we're gonna be all mad at jack.
<v Speaker 2>And is definitely time for Fast five, which is brought
<v Speaker 2>to you by Bally's Casino Blackhawk best Value with five
<v Speaker 2>dollars black jack and five dollars menu items daily. If
<v Speaker 2>you'd like to play, pick up your phone and call

<v Speaker 4>You've also said five music groups that everyone's related. And
<v Speaker 4>the one that wanted on Friday was Jonathan, who was
<v Speaker 4>able to name five types of licenses to win the
<v Speaker 4>day's top prize with fast five.
<v Speaker 3>Yay, there go call us, let's play. If you get

<v Speaker 3>so much fun.

<v Speaker 2>forty nine. Looking for those newbies who have never played before.
<v Speaker 2>And it looks like Mallory made it through.
<v Speaker 9>Hi Mallory, good morning.
<v Speaker 2>Hi. You broke a tooth this weekend?
<v Speaker 1>Is that what I'll see?
<v Speaker 10>I did?
<v Speaker 6>I was eating a Chick fil a French fry and
<v Speaker 6>broke my back tooth split in half and had to
<v Speaker 6>get a root canal same day.
<v Speaker 2>Either how weak are your teeth or how strong was
<v Speaker 2>that fry?
<v Speaker 6>Like, oh my gosh, I don't know, but I just
<v Speaker 6>heard a crack and just spat my tooth out like,
<v Speaker 6>oh no, why are.
<v Speaker 2>You looking like that?
<v Speaker 4>One of my worst I am so afraid of, Like
<v Speaker 4>I have dreams about teeth falling out of my head.
<v Speaker 4>They say it's kind of like worries, an overthinker type
<v Speaker 4>of thing.
<v Speaker 2>Issues you.
<v Speaker 4>I've been so afraid of the dentists. But they were
<v Speaker 4>able to fix that one day for you.
<v Speaker 1>H mallory.
<v Speaker 6>Oh it was either that day or waiting two weeks.
<v Speaker 6>But they were very, very sweet. They were the doctor
<v Speaker 6>was singing Backstreet Boys while I was like terrified, squeezing
<v Speaker 6>a little splitchy.
<v Speaker 4>To carry you though, because I had to be so
<v Speaker 4>scary scary.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so yeah, tell me more about those fries. Yeah.
<v Speaker 6>I was to take my tooth back to Chick fil A,
<v Speaker 6>but I was like, you know what, let's not do that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they don't care whatever, Like why is this lady here?
<v Speaker 2>Week all right? Yes, yes, yes, all right, let's do
<v Speaker 2>some fast five.
<v Speaker 3>I've got a few that listeners sent in over the
<v Speaker 3>weekend that I want to use. This one might be
<v Speaker 3>a little difficult, but I don't know. There's he's been
<v Speaker 3>in so many movies, but in ten seconds, give me
<v Speaker 3>five Jackie Chan movies.
<v Speaker 9>Go oh my gosh, I think like karate Kid, Rush Hour,
<v Speaker 9>Drunken Master, please, story.
<v Speaker 2>Times, buzzer hit, buzzer hit.
<v Speaker 3>I think you got four four but dag dang sobody
<v Speaker 3>somebody was googling.
<v Speaker 9>I know that and Karate Kid, I remember that.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, Rush Hours probably by far ahead famous and I
<v Speaker 2>didn't say no sequels. You could have said rush Hour to.
<v Speaker 6>Mallory rush exactly.
<v Speaker 2>It was nice talking to you. You have a great week.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks for playing.
<v Speaker 9>Thank you, Bye, God bye.
<v Speaker 2>Number one is there? Okay, so we got Carrie? Hi?

<v Speaker 7>that texting every day?
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for texting.

<v Speaker 4>You texted me Happy birthday, Carrie and sent me a
<v Speaker 4>Facebook message.
<v Speaker 1>That's super sweet of you.
<v Speaker 2>That's all I require, so produce.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you very much.
<v Speaker 7>And on Instagram. I sent you on Instagram.
<v Speaker 2>Carry you like.

<v Speaker 1>You, Thank you. I've never heard of you.
<v Speaker 7>Yes you have, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 1>Let him get to you.
<v Speaker 6>Ex stinker.
<v Speaker 2>All right, you're.
<v Speaker 10>Gary, alright, stinker, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, let's play. Okay, all right, Well, since I know
<v Speaker 3>you listen, you might have heard this one. But in
<v Speaker 3>ten seconds, give me five famous brother sister duos.
<v Speaker 7>Go oh well yeah, it's hard when you're on the
<v Speaker 7>spot like this. This is like my fourth time crying
<v Speaker 7>and I don't ever win. I get stuck.
<v Speaker 3>You just called in to tell Katie after birthday.
<v Speaker 7>Yes, I love you guys too.
<v Speaker 9>Good.
<v Speaker 7>I love you too.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, you have a good day.
<v Speaker 7>You too, Thank you, Bye bye.
<v Speaker 1>She's so sweet.
<v Speaker 2>Hi Shannon, Hi, Hi, how are you today?
<v Speaker 7>I'm are you.
<v Speaker 2>We're super dupes. How is your weekend? It was good.
<v Speaker 10>Yeah, the kids played some sports, some sports ball.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah we did that too. We had some basketball over
<v Speaker 2>the week.
<v Speaker 3>I'm looking at some of these topics that came in
<v Speaker 3>from listeners.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. Some of these are just impossible. They
<v Speaker 2>like to go for the jugular.
<v Speaker 1>Coming in hot, are they?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? All right, here's one. I don't know. This one's
<v Speaker 2>a little difficult. Shannon. In ten seconds, give me five
<v Speaker 2>birds that don't fly go.
<v Speaker 9>Flamingo, peacock.
<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, I don't know. Hey, the Ostrich, the turkey,
<v Speaker 2>the chicken, the chicken, and penguin? Did you say penguin?
<v Speaker 1>Does an emu fly?
<v Speaker 2>EMUs?
<v Speaker 1>Don't fly? Don't fly? The kiwi? Did you say TV? Okay?
<v Speaker 2>And you did really bad on that one, Shannon, It
<v Speaker 2>was nice talking to you, though, Have a nice Monday.
<v Speaker 10>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Bye is line one? Is his name? Sell?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 10>Oh yes?
<v Speaker 2>Oh yes it is a girl. Hi girl, Your name
<v Speaker 2>is self?
<v Speaker 10>Yes? Okay, so my name is Celia, but it's hard
<v Speaker 10>to pronounce.
<v Speaker 1>It's easier.
<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, so the oh god, are you okay?
<v Speaker 10>Yes?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, hacking up along there, he's just a little concerned.
<v Speaker 2>How's your weekend? Cell?
<v Speaker 10>It was good. I went to a soccer game from
<v Speaker 10>my son, hung out with the kids all weekend. Had
<v Speaker 10>it also.
<v Speaker 2>Mam and duty?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Yeah, weekend full of staff.
<v Speaker 3>All right, let's do some fast five with you. Your
<v Speaker 3>word is space and ten seconds, give me five words
<v Speaker 3>that include the word space in them.
<v Speaker 10>Go space? Oh man? Five words? Oh I have no idea?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah no, that one. That one got me. All right, Dang,
<v Speaker 10>I really want to those tickets.
<v Speaker 3>Well, you're going to hang up and you're gonna think
<v Speaker 3>of ten words. I know there's a lot of a
<v Speaker 3>We'll reuse.
<v Speaker 2>That one though.
<v Speaker 10>Give me two examples right now.
<v Speaker 3>No, because I want to reuse it here. Listen to
<v Speaker 3>the next caller, because I'm going to use it on
<v Speaker 3>the next caller.
<v Speaker 4>Out all right, okay, bye bye, sad Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I did kind of give him my heads up.
<v Speaker 1>Huh you have you never do that. It's not a character,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm here for it.
<v Speaker 2>Maria.
<v Speaker 3>In ten seconds, give me five words that start with space, go, space.
<v Speaker 7>Neutral, space, blank space.
<v Speaker 10>I'm not sure, yeah, Maria, have a good day by Maria.
<v Speaker 2>By Maria Dane. Oh boy, oh boy. Ten seconds. Five
<v Speaker 2>words that include space.
<v Speaker 10>Go, space travel, inner space, space, shuttle, space ship, uh,
<v Speaker 10>blank space.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see anything wrong with any of those.
<v Speaker 2>This is me though, is blank space? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>That's two words.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's not gonna work.
<v Speaker 3>See you later, Dane, have a good day, Audrey. Ten seconds,
<v Speaker 3>five words that they have space in them.
<v Speaker 6>Ready, go, spacecraft, air, space, space ship, space.
<v Speaker 2>Station, space station. You didn't get it, Audrey, have a
<v Speaker 2>good day.
<v Speaker 1>By bye. Gosh.
<v Speaker 2>Natalie, Natalie, Hi you ready?
<v Speaker 4>Hi?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Give me five birds that don't fly.
<v Speaker 10>Go when.
<v Speaker 7>Ostridge Peacock.
<v Speaker 2>Signs up, Natalie, have a good day. It was nice
<v Speaker 2>talking with you. See you later. Nick. Oh yeah, five
<v Speaker 2>birds they don't We're fine. Five birds that don't fly
<v Speaker 2>you Ready, here we go go.
<v Speaker 9>Kiwi chicken, peacock, ostriche turkey, uh and uh.
<v Speaker 5>Dodo bird.
<v Speaker 2>You're a Dodo bird. That's the way you do fast
<v Speaker 2>right there? Just fly through, Nick?
<v Speaker 1>You Why am I so exhausted?
<v Speaker 2>I know you just sat there. You didn't do anything. Man, Congratulations, buddy.
<v Speaker 1>You won fast.
<v Speaker 10>Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>You're very welcome.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm gonna put you on hold and our producer
<v Speaker 3>Josh in the next room is going to tell you
<v Speaker 3>all about that prize.
<v Speaker 2>Nick, thank you, You're welcome. Oh even he's even like I.
<v Speaker 1>Know right, He's like, okay, Yes, that was fun for me.
<v Speaker 3>That was fun for me. You guys, thanks for playing,
<v Speaker 3>Thanks for having some fun with us.
<v Speaker 2>We'll do it.
<v Speaker 3>Again tomorrow morning seven thirty with Jeremy, Katie and Josh.
<v Speaker 7>Tis one hundred real quick.
<v Speaker 2>I got a story that made me laugh this morning
<v Speaker 2>because I instantly thought.
<v Speaker 1>Of you, Katie.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, is spot on, because I feel like I kind
<v Speaker 3>of went off a little bit last week about this
<v Speaker 3>with you, because we took our self evaluation here at work.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's a you know, performance review or whatever. And
<v Speaker 2>Katie came in and she's like, how many emojis did
<v Speaker 2>you guys use in that? I was like none.
<v Speaker 4>I think what I said was I only use two
<v Speaker 4>emojis my self evaluation too many.
<v Speaker 6>Ah.
<v Speaker 3>So I came in this morning and I saw this story.
<v Speaker 3>It says do you use emojis at work? You might
<v Speaker 3>want to think twice.
<v Speaker 4>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>They say they're not doing anything to help your image.
<v Speaker 2>You should not be using emojis at work. It could
<v Speaker 2>be hurting your image.
<v Speaker 3>Especially they said if you are using like the angry face.
<v Speaker 4>Emotion a minor's always smiling, Well, how's that gonna work?
<v Speaker 4>Because you look like a I would like to point
<v Speaker 4>out this is when it comes to normal people's jobs.
<v Speaker 4>If you're working at a nine to five a bank,
<v Speaker 4>maybe you don't want to put the little devil emoji
<v Speaker 4>at the end.
<v Speaker 1>Of your sentence to your boss.
<v Speaker 4>But we work at a radio station and I am
<v Speaker 4>a character and I'm like, I feel like like I
<v Speaker 4>smile a lot and people know that. So when I
<v Speaker 4>put a smiley face at the end of a sentence,
<v Speaker 4>that's me.
<v Speaker 1>And now you picture me smile, No, I don't.
<v Speaker 3>Instantly, I'm like, why is she putting so many emojis?
<v Speaker 3>Because it's it's uh, it's childish, and you I do it.
<v Speaker 1>A little bit.
<v Speaker 2>I'm stopping now.
<v Speaker 4>My favorite thing is to send you the eyeglass of
<v Speaker 4>sunglasses emoji, like for everything, like hey you got this,
<v Speaker 4>yes I do.
<v Speaker 2>It was not a fan. It just seems very unprofessional.
<v Speaker 3>And you know, since they even updated our emails and
<v Speaker 3>stuff our system where you can instead of replying, you
<v Speaker 3>just send a her.
<v Speaker 1>The reaction every time.
<v Speaker 3>I see one of those, it's like, you're not a child,
<v Speaker 3>especially when it's like this, you know, sixty year old
<v Speaker 3>dude or something down the hall in our sales department,
<v Speaker 3>who sends the heart emoji back.
<v Speaker 2>Like just knock it off. And I don't just say
<v Speaker 2>he sounds good.
<v Speaker 3>Love this, yeah, because generally two those go into like
<v Speaker 3>a separate part of my email and I never see them.
<v Speaker 3>So then like if I'm in there clearing stuff out,
<v Speaker 3>I'll look over at this one part and there's like
<v Speaker 3>four thirteen emails in there with thumbs ups and hearts
<v Speaker 3>and all that from various people.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, you all are children. You don't even see
<v Speaker 2>the rec Actually I don't enough. I don't see the reaction.
<v Speaker 2>It doesn't until I see it, Like when I go
<v Speaker 2>in there to clean it out, and I see, Oh,
<v Speaker 2>Katie hearted ten of ten of my emails.
<v Speaker 1>That gets riled up all over.
<v Speaker 2>I am wondering if you even saw them.
<v Speaker 1>But I loved it, of course I saw it. Anyway.
<v Speaker 2>They're saying, don't do it at work.
<v Speaker 1>I think also it's a guy thing.
<v Speaker 4>You guys refrained from doing emoji's because it makes you
<v Speaker 4>look sensitive.
<v Speaker 2>We think of it. Yeah, let me look at me.
<v Speaker 4>I use it because I think it does. Like it's
<v Speaker 4>called an emoji. It's supposed to, you know, convey an emotion,
<v Speaker 4>and that's what I use it for.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just not throwing out emoji's willy nilly, like there's
<v Speaker 1>a reason for it, you know.
<v Speaker 3>I'm doing a lot of the thumbs up from what
<v Speaker 3>I'm looking at.
<v Speaker 4>Here.
<v Speaker 3>There's a couple smiles in here in the check mark,
<v Speaker 3>the check mark, we'll do.
<v Speaker 2>You know. And then I included the check mark.
<v Speaker 3>I said, somebody want a medal this weekend, like because
<v Speaker 3>they won an award, So I sent them a medal.
<v Speaker 1>Yayah, so you use them, you know.
<v Speaker 3>What, like all of those all those were two women. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not sending them to my guy friends.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think that that's the thing too.
<v Speaker 4>Do you guys send emojis to your guy friends?
<v Speaker 2>And no I don't.
<v Speaker 1>And the younger generations do you do it? Josh? No? No, No,
<v Speaker 1>I mean let me see, no be looking.
<v Speaker 5>I said, there's the most we use her between my
<v Speaker 5>girlfriend and I.
<v Speaker 3>But other than that, no, Yeah, I'm looking with nick
<v Speaker 3>KNACKX like her. Even her name that's saved in my phone.
<v Speaker 3>There's lips next to it, like I.
<v Speaker 2>The lips man.
<v Speaker 1>There's sometimes I can do a whole sentence and emojis.
<v Speaker 2>I really don't mean to go so far deep into this.
<v Speaker 2>I just wanted to read it real quick. But stop it.
<v Speaker 3>Stop it at work, and everyone else is doing it
<v Speaker 3>at work, stop it.
<v Speaker 1>They expected form me. If I don't do it, they'll
<v Speaker 1>think so.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Now, speaking of Katie Cat, you came in this weekend
<v Speaker 2>and you were flirting with a guy. It sounds like
<v Speaker 2>at Naughty Bingo in.
<v Speaker 4>Real life, like not app I know, and it is.
<v Speaker 1>Such a weird feeling.
<v Speaker 4>Now, So we were at Naughty Bingo on Saturday night
<v Speaker 4>having so much fun, and these two guys walk in
<v Speaker 4>and it's me and like four of my girlfriends are
<v Speaker 4>at a table and we all see them walk in,
<v Speaker 4>and we're.
<v Speaker 1>Like, oh, these guys are pretty handsome.
<v Speaker 4>But then you wonder if they're together. Like immediately you're like, well,
<v Speaker 4>are they a couple? Because that takes it off the
<v Speaker 4>table right away, you know. But then just their mannerisms,
<v Speaker 4>they look like they were more friends than they were romantic.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like, okay, back on the table, you know.
<v Speaker 4>And so we were kind of like making eyes at them.
<v Speaker 4>And also we were in the back and they were
<v Speaker 4>near the front where all the Bengo numbers were being called,
<v Speaker 4>so they had no reason to look back at us,
<v Speaker 4>but they.
<v Speaker 1>Kept looking back at us.
<v Speaker 4>And then every time I had to go grab us
<v Speaker 4>more like bingo cards or grab a new dabber for somebody,
<v Speaker 4>I owned myself to go walk up to the front
<v Speaker 4>because that's where they were. So every time I walked
<v Speaker 4>by them, I'd like make eye contact with one and
<v Speaker 4>I'd smile, and at that moment, I.
<v Speaker 1>Just get more No, don't mind me. I had like.
<v Speaker 4>Twenty dabbers at my table and there's no so it
<v Speaker 4>was just fun to kind of flirt with somebody in
<v Speaker 4>real life, right, So we're all just having a good time.
<v Speaker 4>And then at the end, when my friend left before me,
<v Speaker 4>she called me the next day and she's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I was hanging out and I saw one of the
<v Speaker 4>guys that you liked.
<v Speaker 1>He was outside smoking a cigarette.
<v Speaker 4>So immediately I was like, well that ew right, Like
<v Speaker 4>immediately kind of just takes someone notch down a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>But she went to him anyway, and she was just like, hey,
<v Speaker 4>my friend thought you were pretty cute.
<v Speaker 1>She you know.
<v Speaker 4>Then he was like, oh, which one's your friend and
<v Speaker 4>she was like, oh, the curly haired one with the
<v Speaker 4>blue shirt on, and he was like.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, that's fun. Blah blah.
<v Speaker 2>She looks nice, but she also looks like she sends
<v Speaker 2>the movies. It wor so mum.
<v Speaker 4>He did not say that he would probably appreciate I'm out,
<v Speaker 4>but that's exactly.
<v Speaker 1>But anyway she said, you know, she was just like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>she's kind of into you.
<v Speaker 4>And then his response to that was, well, I got
<v Speaker 4>divorced a year ago, and the grass isn't always greener.
<v Speaker 1>That was his response. A way to take it down
<v Speaker 1>I was just like, well, now I'm big. What's your
<v Speaker 1>friend's name?
<v Speaker 2>So you don't want to get with that because that
<v Speaker 2>guy's just constantly thinking about his ex wife.
<v Speaker 1>Obviously. Yeah, that's his response to.
<v Speaker 2>Much a huge red flag too.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah my friend likes you.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, I just got divorced a year ago, like, and
<v Speaker 4>you feel bad for people because people go through it,
<v Speaker 4>like divorces aren't easy.
<v Speaker 1>But obviously he isn't ready to be meeting people.
<v Speaker 4>Clearly if he's talking about the ex wife to a
<v Speaker 4>person who's trying to introduce him to somebody random, and
<v Speaker 4>it's like, well, but there. His reaction to his friend
<v Speaker 4>makes so much more sense now because it kind of
<v Speaker 4>looked like that. It kind of looked like the non
<v Speaker 4>smoking friend was kind of there for moral support of
<v Speaker 4>the smoking.
<v Speaker 2>To get you out there.
<v Speaker 1>I know what it looked like, Yeah, we got to
<v Speaker 1>get you out around people again.
<v Speaker 2>And his first thought was, I got to take you
<v Speaker 2>to Naughty instead of going to a sportspart and having
<v Speaker 2>some chicken wings. A lot of girls like, let's go
<v Speaker 2>pick up some adult toys.
<v Speaker 4>There were so many women there and all of us
<v Speaker 4>were looking at these two guys, so.
<v Speaker 3>They fresh is that generally who's at these is a
<v Speaker 3>lot of single ladies.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of single ladies.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of single lad Yeah, only a couple guys, hey,
<v Speaker 4>and usually they're with their significant.
<v Speaker 1>Other if they are there, No idea, there's a few.
<v Speaker 4>We had a table behind us that were getting rowdy
<v Speaker 4>and they were kind of younger, and there were a
<v Speaker 4>bunch of single young guys there.
<v Speaker 1>But they were just like they were a little too.
<v Speaker 4>Excited about well because it was naughty bingo. So it's
<v Speaker 4>bingo but not your maybe your grandma's a little freaky,
<v Speaker 4>but maybe it's your grandma's bingo.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>They were a little too into it.
<v Speaker 4>They were really into it and eaming at all the things,
<v Speaker 4>and it was just like, but it was fun. That's
<v Speaker 4>what makes it fun, the interaction with the crowd. Its
<v Speaker 4>just so much fun. But yeah, it was just it
<v Speaker 4>was interesting to think about because again, I was so excited.
<v Speaker 1>I was kind of flirting with somebody outside of an.
<v Speaker 2>App And that isn't that funny?
<v Speaker 3>That how it feels fun to be interacting with somebody
<v Speaker 3>like in real life your phone it's probably induces some butterflies.
<v Speaker 2>It did like excite you know, and.
<v Speaker 4>It brought me back to the you know, I had
<v Speaker 4>a lot of well all of my friends were like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>you should you know, to flirt with him, like go
<v Speaker 4>tell me your name, glass for his number, Come sit
<v Speaker 4>on this side of the table so he can see
<v Speaker 4>you better. And I was just like, I don't know
<v Speaker 4>if I really want to be like that, like I
<v Speaker 4>want him to initiate to I didn't tell her to
<v Speaker 4>do that. I didn't know that until the next day
<v Speaker 4>that she did.
<v Speaker 11>That, but it was very much it did, and I
<v Speaker 11>appreciated the me not being the forceful one because with
<v Speaker 11>the app you know, mentality now, it is very like
<v Speaker 11>women have.
<v Speaker 1>So much of the power.
<v Speaker 4>So it's like it was nice to give that power
<v Speaker 4>up a little bit and just be like, no, we'll
<v Speaker 4>let whatever happens happens.
<v Speaker 1>Right, it's not ey Bengal, Let's get crazy.
<v Speaker 2>So did you sleep?
<v Speaker 1>No, I did it. I don't even know his name.
<v Speaker 2>No, I did better. You don't have to know.
<v Speaker 1>His name is Leaving Pikes one hundred.
<v Speaker 3>Same sound I make when I sneak into my kids
<v Speaker 3>Easter candy and eat all their Reese's peanut butter cups.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very much. Dat tacks my Actually, my daughter
<v Speaker 2>last night was like, who.
<v Speaker 1>Got into my wreath's cups?
<v Speaker 2>She was going after us.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you blame it on the other one.
<v Speaker 2>Totally me. All right, So phone lines are gonna be
<v Speaker 2>wide open here. Our producer Josh is standing by ready
<v Speaker 2>to take your calls. I want people that have worked
<v Speaker 2>with children, teachers, anyone at daycare facilities. We actually got
<v Speaker 2>a note from somebody who's to work at a toys
<v Speaker 2>r us actually, which is so funny. If you worked
<v Speaker 2>with children and they completely over shared with you three
<v Speaker 2>O three six nine one mix three oh three six
<v Speaker 2>nine one sixteen forty nine, we want to hear.
<v Speaker 3>About what the kids overshared now. I threw this up
<v Speaker 3>on my Facebook over the weekend and.
<v Speaker 2>Emily wrote in.
<v Speaker 3>She says, Hey, jer I'm a second grade teacher. While
<v Speaker 3>back we had just come back from recess. I was
<v Speaker 3>helping a student at his desk. He leaned over to
<v Speaker 3>point something or I leaned over to point something out
<v Speaker 3>on his paper, and he looks up at me and says,
<v Speaker 3>your shirt smells like my grandma, and your armpits smell
<v Speaker 3>like chuck e cheese. A couple of the kids nearby
<v Speaker 3>heard it started laughing. I immediately went into teacher mode
<v Speaker 3>and was like, this is not something we say out loud.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she's like, I was trying not to lose it.
<v Speaker 3>The best part five minutes later he raised his hand
<v Speaker 3>and again and goes, I think it's because you're warm.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I made it through the day, but not
<v Speaker 3>gonna lie. I did full armpit checks multiple times throughout
<v Speaker 3>the day.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, there's no way that that's not gonna hit you
<v Speaker 4>on a personal level.
<v Speaker 1>At some point, right the backbits.
<v Speaker 2>Smell like chuck e chee.
<v Speaker 3>Jess shot me a message, she says, I teach fifth grade.
<v Speaker 3>We were doing a simple what do your parents do
<v Speaker 3>for work assignment? One student goes, my dad works from home.
<v Speaker 3>He has a lot of meetings in his room with
<v Speaker 3>the door locked. Then he added, sometimes I hear a
<v Speaker 3>lady laughing in there.
<v Speaker 2>Oh ah.
<v Speaker 3>The kid went on to say, the weird part is
<v Speaker 3>she only comes over when my mom isn't home. Boy
<v Speaker 3>kid just said, kids be just casually dropping bombs and
<v Speaker 3>keep on moving like it's nothing.
<v Speaker 4>D I know, they're just making friendly conversation, right Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Uh?
<v Speaker 2>Do I want to read this one? Eh?
<v Speaker 3>This one's pretty good. She was talking to her kids.
<v Speaker 3>This is from Megan kindergarten teachers. We were talking about
<v Speaker 3>problem solving, and I said, what should we do if
<v Speaker 3>somebody makes you mad. One kid raised his hand and said,
<v Speaker 3>my mom says, if somebody makes you mad, just ignore him.
<v Speaker 3>Then another kid goes, my mom says, ignore him too,
<v Speaker 3>unless it's dad. Then you take his Xbox controller and
<v Speaker 3>throw it at him. She went on to say it
<v Speaker 3>works every time. Yeah, she said, kids are tiny, unfiltered
<v Speaker 3>podcasts about their parents and I love every second of it.
<v Speaker 3>And that's from Megan.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I think part of it too, is that you think,
<v Speaker 4>as a kid, you're like remembering some fact of information
<v Speaker 4>and you want to tell everybody.
<v Speaker 1>You have no idea, you're spilling the beans.
<v Speaker 4>You just heard your parents say it, so you can't
<v Speaker 4>wait to tell somebody, you know, whatever it is that
<v Speaker 4>your parents said. So I get it.
<v Speaker 2>But innocent, hilarity, so funny, innocent. Those kids will say
<v Speaker 2>the darnas things, they'll share the darnas things, and the
<v Speaker 2>people in the industries where you work with children, you
<v Speaker 2>hear it all off. Your teacher, childcare worker. What did
<v Speaker 2>the kids say to you that made you literally lol
<v Speaker 2>all three three six' nine one, sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 3>Michelle says, when I taught kindergarten, one of the students
<v Speaker 3>came up and told me daddy was having surgery today,
<v Speaker 3>so we couldn't have babies anymore.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, all right. Christina said, I was at a childcare
<v Speaker 2>center in the van. We were driving back to the
<v Speaker 2>center after picking the kids up from school, and a
<v Speaker 2>kid goes.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, that's where my dad buys all of his beer.
<v Speaker 3>And then Joyce wrote in.
<v Speaker 2>This was on my Facebook. She said. I had a
<v Speaker 2>kindergarten student.
<v Speaker 3>I asked him why he was late again, and he
<v Speaker 3>tells me, well, mom and dad were taking a shower
<v Speaker 3>together and they took too long.
<v Speaker 2>Again day, mom and.
<v Speaker 1>Dad, you step all the water.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's like seven in the morning. For goodness sakes,
<v Speaker 3>What did the kids say to you? Three oh three
<v Speaker 3>six nine one, sixteen forty nine.
<v Speaker 2>Here's Christine.
<v Speaker 3>Hi, Christine, Hi, good morning, well, good morning to you.
<v Speaker 2>Are you in the teaching industry?
<v Speaker 8>No, I am not. It was my kid actually ratted
<v Speaker 8>me out.
<v Speaker 2>Oh excellent, perfect. What'd they do?
<v Speaker 10>So?
<v Speaker 8>My son's in preschool and I had recently got this silly,
<v Speaker 8>happy golden sized dollar size taco tattoo. It's just a
<v Speaker 8>happy taco tattoo. It's on like my butt hip area.
<v Speaker 8>And I was showing everybody all weekend. It's a cute taco.
<v Speaker 8>And I was like, look if I happy taco. He
<v Speaker 8>goes to school and tells his whole class that mommy
<v Speaker 8>has a brand new happy taco.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's great, missus.
<v Speaker 8>Bennett is like, I know it's probably not what I
<v Speaker 8>think it is, but I heard.
<v Speaker 10>You have a brand new tacos.
<v Speaker 2>You're like, it's so happy to you. It's so happy.
<v Speaker 4>It was the best.
<v Speaker 2>Can send us a picture of it.
<v Speaker 8>I will totally send you a picture totally.
<v Speaker 10>I want to.
<v Speaker 2>I want to see your happy taco.
<v Speaker 3>Text it right now three O three six nine one
<v Speaker 3>sixteen forty nine when you hang up, okay.
<v Speaker 6>Sound perfect, I will text you in it.
<v Speaker 2>I want to. Christine, thanks for the laughs. Have a
<v Speaker 2>good day. I love you.
<v Speaker 3>Had one along the same lines too, with your dad,
<v Speaker 3>didn't you, kid.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Richard is Richard.
<v Speaker 4>There's yeah, my shorthand name for Richard, and so my
<v Speaker 4>mom's nickname for him. Yeah, And so we were when
<v Speaker 4>I was little, we were all walking out to our
<v Speaker 4>car after church, and my parents were walking with our
<v Speaker 4>pastor and he looks at my dad. He's talking to
<v Speaker 4>my dad and he was like Richard or rich can
<v Speaker 4>I call you rich? And I right at him in
<v Speaker 4>the eye and I said, you can call him tricky
<v Speaker 4>dick like my mom does, pastor, because it was just
<v Speaker 4>it's just kind of a cute and as kids, you
<v Speaker 4>have no idea, but you're just like in the like
<v Speaker 4>my mom would say it to my dad lovingly, like
<v Speaker 4>tricky dickman, and you know, and.
<v Speaker 1>So like it was just something around the house. And
<v Speaker 1>she said to him, I didn't know.
<v Speaker 4>That it was kind of like.
<v Speaker 2>Say a contract.
<v Speaker 4>The way that pastor looked at me like I needed
<v Speaker 4>to go get cleansed right now, it's pretty funny. But
<v Speaker 4>and then I one more I remember about Zoe and
<v Speaker 4>her dad, Like it was so funny because they had
<v Speaker 4>this thing like Zoe's dad cracked his neck a lot, right,
<v Speaker 4>like that was one of the things.
<v Speaker 1>That he did. And he always said, he's like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>such a crack addict, like that's what he said.
<v Speaker 4>And so she went to school one day and said
<v Speaker 4>she cracked her neck and she's like I'm a crack addict.
<v Speaker 4>And so the teacher had to talk with us because
<v Speaker 4>this little seven year old baby was walking around the
<v Speaker 4>school saying she's a crack addict, but she just like
<v Speaker 4>cracked on her knuckles and stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I love that one.
<v Speaker 1>You got to have an explanation for it. I love
<v Speaker 1>that one.
<v Speaker 5>Oh yeah, I did have one, And this is funny, Kitty.
<v Speaker 5>Mine actually had to do with church as well. There
<v Speaker 5>was a one time that the Broncos were in a
<v Speaker 5>playoff game and the game was being recorded because all
<v Speaker 5>my family wanted to watch it after church, and so
<v Speaker 5>for some reason, I found out the score from my dad,
<v Speaker 5>and I remember all the church guys and some of
<v Speaker 5>my family members were watching the game at our house
<v Speaker 5>and I'm walking in and they're like, Josh, do not
<v Speaker 5>tell us the score. We want to watch this game.
<v Speaker 5>And I go, I don't know what the score was.
<v Speaker 5>I just know the Broncos lost by three. I got
<v Speaker 5>chaste out of the room by a man who was
<v Speaker 5>so mad at me, and that was I mean, that
<v Speaker 5>was twenty six years ago at this point, and they
<v Speaker 5>still bring it up.
<v Speaker 2>So they don't forget. They still bring it up to me.
<v Speaker 2>That I broke the rules and said they score for everybody.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, I'll give you three more that came in over text.
<v Speaker 3>Rob And says one time I had a kid tell
<v Speaker 3>me he was late to school because her dad had
<v Speaker 3>a really hard time.
<v Speaker 2>Pooping this morning. He said, poor guy, or she said
<v Speaker 2>poor guy. I never forgot about it and thought about
<v Speaker 2>it every time I saw him after that. Hey, Brad,
<v Speaker 2>how is your crap? I had a student make a
<v Speaker 2>card for mom for Mother's Day. Wrote on there, what
<v Speaker 2>makes mom happy red muscato, Mom's favorite drink, red muscato.
<v Speaker 2>What makes mom mad when she doesn't have red muscato?
<v Speaker 2>That's good?
<v Speaker 1>Tell him?
<v Speaker 3>And then Tyler this one spot on had a student
<v Speaker 3>who was gone for a few days. I asked where
<v Speaker 3>he had been. He said, I can't tell you. Dad
<v Speaker 3>told me not to. I said, it's okay, you can
<v Speaker 3>tell me. He responded, I went camping with dad, but
<v Speaker 3>don't tell mom. Women aren't allowed to come because they
<v Speaker 3>never stop talking. Well, we got a little something something
<v Speaker 3>for our listeners today, Just a big old thank you
<v Speaker 3>for listening and keeping us on each and every morning,
<v Speaker 3>because we love you guys, first of all.
<v Speaker 1>So much.
<v Speaker 2>And two we've partnered with the team over at the
<v Speaker 2>Denver Zoo and come on, yeah, we love the Denver
<v Speaker 2>Zoo absolutely, And one of these days they're gonna let
<v Speaker 2>me get down there and write a hippopotamus. Why do
<v Speaker 2>you want to ride this be on the hippopotami?
<v Speaker 1>Oh what? Because they're dangerous.
<v Speaker 2>I'm good with animals. I would whisper in his ear.
<v Speaker 1>It's okay, little fella. Let's go for a ride.
<v Speaker 2>Let's rite which one would you ride if you had.
<v Speaker 4>I would want to hang out with the penguins. I
<v Speaker 4>don't need to ride any of them.
<v Speaker 2>I just want to hang out, have fun with me
<v Speaker 2>animal at the zoo.
<v Speaker 1>Which one do I want to ride? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I know, like maybe the bears look kind of fun.
<v Speaker 4>They know, see they're all like again, I know how
<v Speaker 4>dangerous they are.
<v Speaker 1>If we can guarantee that they're.
<v Speaker 2>Not, they're friendly again, got a whisper in their ear and.
<v Speaker 1>Be like, okay, it's okay, little fella. Yeah, just drifts
<v Speaker 1>are fun.
<v Speaker 2>To Drifts are fun. Drafts slide down the neck, do that, Katie.
<v Speaker 4>Hanguins are super sweet and they're fun and they go
<v Speaker 4>sliding on their bellies all right, they can ride on
<v Speaker 4>my back.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I love it. We find people over there at
<v Speaker 2>the Denver Zoo and they're hooking us up with some
<v Speaker 2>epic prizes today. Tell us about it. How we're getting
<v Speaker 2>people qualified this morning.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, there's a couple things here that are gonna get
<v Speaker 1>you so excited.

<v Speaker 4>sweet tickets to see the K.

<v Speaker 4>get some tickets to go check out Glowing Wild at
<v Speaker 4>the Denver Zoo this Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>And he's done that pop theme night. It is so
<v Speaker 1>much fun.
<v Speaker 4>I mean a grown butt woman really enjoy enjoyed that,
<v Speaker 4>but the kids loved it so much more Like they
<v Speaker 4>had everything lit up and so it was like an
<v Speaker 4>immersive experience as you walked through the zoo, and you
<v Speaker 4>also got to check out all the animals and everything too.
<v Speaker 1>But each stage you went to had.
<v Speaker 4>Different things lit up in a way that was just
<v Speaker 4>so spectacular.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the tulips really looked like tulips. It was crazy.
<v Speaker 4>It neat like some of them were coming out of
<v Speaker 4>the ground and some of them even had the little
<v Speaker 4>bag on the bottom of them like tulips do.
<v Speaker 2>Shut your mind, you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 1>It was so neat, It was so neat.
<v Speaker 4>Like I love the Denver Zoo so much and when
<v Speaker 4>they theme nights like this, it makes it even more fun.
<v Speaker 1>So your kids are gonna love it.
<v Speaker 4>And all you have to do is give us a
<v Speaker 4>follow on Instagram to be in it, to win this
<v Speaker 4>amazing prize pack.
<v Speaker 1>You get to win it all.
<v Speaker 4>You win it all just by giving us a follow

<v Speaker 3>Price it seriously hit me up about that, hipp Okay,
<v Speaker 3>anytime I'm game, let's do it. Put a little hat
<v Speaker 3>on him. It'll be fun, be great for your Instagram, Zoo.
<v Speaker 3>It really was two people.
<v Speaker 1>If you're listening, anything's gonna go viral.
<v Speaker 2>That's a Jeremy Ryding local personality in Denver Ride's hippopodcam.
<v Speaker 4>I know, I know, I'm really trying hard not to
<v Speaker 4>say that things would go bad.
<v Speaker 2>Don't ruin this for me.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>All right, So let's jump into the hype all the
<v Speaker 2>big stories of the day by far over the weekend,
<v Speaker 2>the Artemis two mission, the crew successfully re entering Earth's atmosphere,
<v Speaker 2>splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, traveling further than any
<v Speaker 2>humans in history. How neat was this? I know you
<v Speaker 2>actually watched it, case I did.
<v Speaker 1>I had on my big screen is blind on my phone.
<v Speaker 1>I was watching the Artemis drop it priorities. Amazing.
<v Speaker 4>It was really neat though, to be a part of history.
<v Speaker 4>I see why you were so excited about it.
<v Speaker 2>I love how you were like they just landed in
<v Speaker 2>the ocean. I had no idea.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't expect that because I thought they were just
<v Speaker 4>gonna like land on a little hub and that was
<v Speaker 4>just how I don't know, like I did like a
<v Speaker 4>little landing pad. I'd never watched it before, so I
<v Speaker 4>didn't know how it all went down. I didn't realize
<v Speaker 4>it was in the ocean, it was where they were
<v Speaker 4>supposed to land.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I thought something's on purpose.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it was on purpose that they landed there. So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>but thankfully everything was okay. Everything went so great, and.
<v Speaker 2>The helicopters came and picked them up and brought them
<v Speaker 2>back to the helipath.
<v Speaker 4>That was the interesting part is how long it took
<v Speaker 4>for them to get from a to bide and the
<v Speaker 4>commenters trying to fill it.
<v Speaker 2>All like looks really wet, and.
<v Speaker 4>Then the astronauts well, and then the astronauts and then
<v Speaker 4>so I was just like, really.
<v Speaker 3>The entire time I was watching it, you know what
<v Speaker 3>I was thinking about, huh, what kind of diapers they
<v Speaker 3>got on, because you know they're going to be ping
<v Speaker 3>and stuff. Yeah, all the way up from space and
<v Speaker 3>then hanging out in the ocean for a few hours.
<v Speaker 2>You know, you're gonna be peeing yourself absorbents.
<v Speaker 1>We know that much.
<v Speaker 3>Besides the moon stuff, Justin Bieber was the other big
<v Speaker 3>news of the weekend his first headlining set at Coachella. Now,
<v Speaker 3>you guys are telling me otherwise, but this story says
<v Speaker 3>a lot of fans were unsatisfied because he put in
<v Speaker 3>very minimal effort doing a stripped down set, low key performance.
<v Speaker 3>He also spent a chunk of his set on a
<v Speaker 3>laptop dialing up YouTube videos of himself and then singing
<v Speaker 3>along you like this.
<v Speaker 1>How do you not love that?
<v Speaker 2>I've never been a big Bieber.
<v Speaker 4>Guys crazy, It's Big Bieber and Baby Beeber and they're
<v Speaker 4>singing together.
<v Speaker 2>They were together on the YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>How do you not love that?
<v Speaker 4>Like? This was so nostalgic for me growing up as
<v Speaker 4>a mom of a huge believer. I mean, this was
<v Speaker 4>like so many things coming true, all at the right time.
<v Speaker 4>And that's the thing is the people who are dissing
<v Speaker 4>Justin Bieber. I can picture their faces right now. Hater's
<v Speaker 4>gonna hate.
<v Speaker 1>There's a meaning.
<v Speaker 2>They got paid ten million dollars to play videos off YouTube.
<v Speaker 4>Forty five million people watched him do it. Contrast, only
<v Speaker 4>ten million watched Sabrina.
<v Speaker 2>Who watched the splash down of this?
<v Speaker 1>I bet you it's comparable numbers. We should see how
<v Speaker 1>many people I bet.
<v Speaker 2>Sadly it's probably more they watched Bieber.
<v Speaker 4>Well, is Justin Bieber is such a huge part of
<v Speaker 4>our pop culture and you can't just deny the fact
<v Speaker 4>that this means.
<v Speaker 2>He brings the naked No, no, he.
<v Speaker 4>Doesn't have to be normal, Like is it that he's
<v Speaker 4>a dad, now, he's a husband.
<v Speaker 2>He's just naked on that last award show. He's just
<v Speaker 2>running around in his underpants.
<v Speaker 1>Remember, Well, I it's just curious again.
<v Speaker 4>I just I feel like so many people are just
<v Speaker 4>waking up ready to hate on Justin Bieber.
<v Speaker 1>They don't see.
<v Speaker 4>What he brought to the stage over the weekend. Again,
<v Speaker 4>his fans, they haven't seen him perform for a really, really,
<v Speaker 4>really long time. They don't know when he's gonna go
<v Speaker 4>on tour again. And this was so huge. Like the
<v Speaker 4>little baby Nana is out there at Coachella right now.
<v Speaker 4>She got to see Justin Bieber and she cried during
<v Speaker 4>his set.
<v Speaker 1>She was so.
<v Speaker 4>Emotional because it just like overtook her with joy. Like
<v Speaker 4>so people who are saying that it wasn't that amazing.
<v Speaker 1>I just feel like they woke up ready to be
<v Speaker 1>something because his fans.
<v Speaker 4>Carried his fans loved it, and so I'm just super
<v Speaker 4>proud of him.
<v Speaker 2>And the thing I actually really enjoyed when I was
<v Speaker 2>looking at the Coachella footage was Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau.
<v Speaker 2>Like those two are the cutest damn couple, aren't they.
<v Speaker 2>They look like they are a perfect match, those two.
<v Speaker 4>And why was it they I saw a picture of
<v Speaker 4>them and I didn't recognize them at first because they
<v Speaker 4>look so young.
<v Speaker 3>I thought the same thing, like they're reverse aging. They
<v Speaker 3>both very looked very young and dewey.
<v Speaker 1>They did.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so they look great. They look like they're having
<v Speaker 4>a great time.
<v Speaker 2>And how about him?
<v Speaker 3>And like jeans and a T shirt were now backwards hat,
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, who's this guy?
<v Speaker 2>Doesn't dress anymore? From yeah, I had no idea A
<v Speaker 2>cool dude.
<v Speaker 1>Totally chilling.
<v Speaker 4>And I think she had one of the funnier things
<v Speaker 4>to say about Bieber and she just mentioned that she
<v Speaker 4>was glady at YouTube Premium, so no ads played.
<v Speaker 2>Can you imagine it pops up like oil changes or something.
<v Speaker 1>I agree. I think they're the cutest couple. I hope
<v Speaker 1>they say it again.
<v Speaker 2>They are literally adorable out like I saw him and
<v Speaker 2>I went only going, you guys are adorable. Yes, Britney
<v Speaker 2>Spears is in rehab.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Know what else to say about it.
<v Speaker 3>That she's the best Brittany thoughts and prayers. And then
<v Speaker 3>this one final story here because I was teasing. This
<v Speaker 3>new study just came out that said, on average, we're
<v Speaker 3>spending about twenty or checked that forty three hundred bucks.
<v Speaker 2>A year for one pet. Four three hundred dollars a
<v Speaker 2>year for one pet.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, do a.
<v Speaker 3>Little bee booooop boop math on that over twelve years,
<v Speaker 3>you're looking at more than fifty thousand dollars that you're
<v Speaker 3>going to spend on one dog or one cat.
<v Speaker 2>Can you put the price on the widow for a baby?
<v Speaker 2>Yes you can. That's a lot of cash and Huggies
<v Speaker 2>they get.
<v Speaker 3>They say that doesn't that doesn't include any vet costs either.
<v Speaker 3>So if anything goes wrong, like when my dog ate
<v Speaker 3>the grape a few months ago and it was a
<v Speaker 3>couple grand, it doesn't.
<v Speaker 2>Include any of that. Now, the thing here says that
<v Speaker 2>gen Z, though is paying attention to these numbers, and
<v Speaker 2>about fifty percent of them are like, I want a
<v Speaker 2>petless lifestyle, no pets for the zero.
<v Speaker 4>You're already not having kids, so they don't want kids
<v Speaker 4>or pets.
<v Speaker 2>This is why they're all so happy.
<v Speaker 1>They have fun and money. Wait wait a minute, zer
<v Speaker 1>fun and money.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, but they're they're still a mess.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, aren't we all?
<v Speaker 2>Don't I have this story. I'm not gonna get to it.
<v Speaker 3>I'll read you the headline because it's funny because you're like,
<v Speaker 3>no pets, no babies, they're so happy. The headline here
<v Speaker 3>says gen Z workers turn to substances to cope with
<v Speaker 3>job stress.
<v Speaker 2>So I'll just leave you with that. They're all getting
<v Speaker 2>stoned and wasted before they got to get into work.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, that's why they don't have pets. I know, right,
<v Speaker 5>that's terrible. Well, shout out to Rory McElroy. He just
<v Speaker 5>won his second Master's championship in a row and he's
<v Speaker 5>one of only four people to do that. But the
<v Speaker 5>big story about this was during the Masters tournament, a
<v Speaker 5>former PGA Tour winner Mark Kalkoveki. I hope I'm saying
<v Speaker 5>that correct. He got booted from his own tournament for
<v Speaker 5>using his cell phone. So at the Masters at Augusta, Georgia,
<v Speaker 5>there is a strict no cell phone policy and apparently
<v Speaker 5>it doesn't matter how many times you say do you
<v Speaker 5>know who I am? You get booted out of the
<v Speaker 5>tournament for using your cell phone. And he got in
<v Speaker 5>huge trouble simply because he took his phone out of
<v Speaker 5>his pocket and checked it. They are a very classy
<v Speaker 5>organization and they say any cell phone use on the
<v Speaker 5>greens or on the grounds is prohibited. And he was
<v Speaker 5>an ex tournament player, former PGA player, won a major
<v Speaker 5>and still got booted from the event. I was like, wow,
<v Speaker 5>that's crazy how strict they are. It doesn't matter who
<v Speaker 5>you are, No, they'll kick you right out. So anybody
<v Speaker 5>that gets to go to the Masters, make sure you
<v Speaker 5>do not take your phone out because you'll be booted.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. Absolutely, you know where you can go Guanella Pass
<v Speaker 4>and Phone starting this Thursday. Absolutely take all the pictures
<v Speaker 4>you want because it typically doesn't open and tell Memorial Day,
<v Speaker 4>but because of the very warm, unseasonably warm winter we
<v Speaker 4>had and low snowpack, they're going to open it on Thursday.
<v Speaker 1>Which is probably the earliest it's ever opened.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, Guanella pass, I was just there Georgetown when
<v Speaker 4>I saw those big horn sheep. Definitely worse worth the
<v Speaker 4>trek if you're gonna make it up to the high
<v Speaker 4>country to see any of the fun colors and just
<v Speaker 4>you know, enjoy the drive when you're out there.
<v Speaker 2>But view you posted just a couple of weeks ago,
<v Speaker 2>there was like no snow in that video. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I know you were a little lower.
<v Speaker 10>I was.
<v Speaker 4>I was near the bottom, so right outside and midgetown,
<v Speaker 4>but no no snow. And typically, I mean there's ice
<v Speaker 4>around those curves and everything at that point. So the
<v Speaker 4>fact that it is opening so early is kind of great. Gray,
<v Speaker 4>but I kind of love it because I do love
<v Speaker 4>going up to the mountains.
<v Speaker 1>So now we can get.
<v Speaker 2>Animal I like big horn.
<v Speaker 1>You can hang onto the lawrens perfect.
<v Speaker 2>They have handlebars built in they.
<v Speaker 4>Are How about this story from over the weekend, the
<v Speaker 4>woman who was struck by lightning.
<v Speaker 2>This is horrible.
<v Speaker 4>It is crazy, just because Okay, so Thursday, she was
<v Speaker 4>out hiking and I guess she got hit by lightning
<v Speaker 4>and it hit the tree by her. But people found
<v Speaker 4>her on the ground and sadly she is in critical
<v Speaker 4>condition even still, but they weren't able to recognize who
<v Speaker 4>she was. They couldn't identify her because not only did
<v Speaker 4>she uh, you know, get hit by lightning, but her
<v Speaker 4>phone completely torched because of that lightning strike. So they
<v Speaker 4>weren't able to find out who this woman was. She
<v Speaker 4>wasn't carrying identification, and they couldn't really give a whole
<v Speaker 4>lot of you know, recognizable information when it was because
<v Speaker 4>she was so hurt. I mean almost unrecognizable is what
<v Speaker 4>they were saying. So it was hard for them to
<v Speaker 4>figure out. They were just like, hey, if you know
<v Speaker 4>someone who was hiking and they didn't come back, we
<v Speaker 4>need you to contact us.
<v Speaker 1>So that's how they figured it out.
<v Speaker 4>And I believe it was almost a whole day that
<v Speaker 4>they didn't know who this woman was. And thankfully now
<v Speaker 4>I believe it was either late Friday or early Saturday
<v Speaker 4>morning they found out her identity. Her family is now
<v Speaker 4>around her giving her the support that she needs. But
<v Speaker 4>how crazy is that that, you know, she was hit
<v Speaker 4>by lightning and then they didn't know who she was
<v Speaker 4>for such a.
<v Speaker 2>Long period of time.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely, and it is well it's getting to be that
<v Speaker 4>time of year too.
<v Speaker 1>Those early spring storms.
<v Speaker 4>They're saying, we're supposed to have a pretty wet summer
<v Speaker 4>spring kind of season, so just be aware. Now, this woman,
<v Speaker 4>it kind of came out of nowhere, so she didn't
<v Speaker 4>have a whole lot of fore warning, so it's not
<v Speaker 4>really her fault that she light and it does exactly.
<v Speaker 4>There's only so much you can do to prepare. And yeah,
<v Speaker 4>we're just putting our thoughts and prayers out to this
<v Speaker 4>woman and hope hopefully she recovers.
<v Speaker 1>Very very soon.
<v Speaker 4>And then another thing that happened last week that Amazon
<v Speaker 4>truck on fire on the ramp from my twenty five
<v Speaker 4>to Thought Parkway. It was a semi trailer fire and
<v Speaker 4>it was the rear wheel duels and axle on both
<v Speaker 4>the driver and passenger sides were ignited and axle, rear
<v Speaker 4>wheel duels.
<v Speaker 1>And axles totally on fire.
<v Speaker 4>So the thing is everyone was so worried about their
<v Speaker 4>packages because it was an Amazon truck. It was and
<v Speaker 4>it had boxes on the truck. When it was on fire,
<v Speaker 4>like the pictures, you can see the entire rear part
<v Speaker 4>of it is completely engulfed by flames and you see
<v Speaker 4>the boxes in the actual you know, trailer. But again
<v Speaker 4>they're probably not gonna be able to deliver those all
<v Speaker 4>the smoke and everything. The good news about this story
<v Speaker 4>is the driver and nobody else in the area was
<v Speaker 4>hurt and they were able to put it out in
<v Speaker 4>two minutes, So shout out to the Adams County Fire
<v Speaker 4>Rescue and the City of Thornton Fire Department.
<v Speaker 1>Minutes. That's amazing and saving the package. The package, that's
<v Speaker 1>what's up, chair as you're my highype.
<v Speaker 6>She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brand full
<v Speaker 6>of doctor Fillery runs.
<v Speaker 2>She's on me by conduct on a june Bug. But
<v Speaker 2>can you take down Katie in Top Culture SmackDown?
<v Speaker 1>This is Katie Crush.
<v Speaker 2>Well, that is a big question. This is just kind
<v Speaker 2>of a silly game that we play about three times
<v Speaker 2>a week. Uh, Gabriella made it in this time. Hi
<v Speaker 2>Gabby Pants, Hi big girl, thanks for calling us. Tell
<v Speaker 2>us a little bit about yourself.
<v Speaker 6>My husband and I are visiting from Tennessee and we're
<v Speaker 6>super excited to be here and we're about to have
<v Speaker 6>some brunch downtown and I figured might as well try.
<v Speaker 2>Might as well. Well, Gosh, I hope you're here for
<v Speaker 2>a while, because if you if you win. You're gonna
<v Speaker 2>have to use these movie passes.
<v Speaker 6>Now we're super excited.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, good.
<v Speaker 2>Where in Tennessee?
<v Speaker 7>Around Knoxville?
