<v Speaker 1>Well, we have finally made it the final raw before WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>The one thing I'm hoping for in the future is
<v Speaker 1>that we have no more late April WrestleManias because one
<v Speaker 1>thing that I have found in the last few years,
<v Speaker 1>they can't manage it.
<v Speaker 2>They can't Matt.
<v Speaker 1>It is too much time from the Road to the
<v Speaker 1>Rumble until WrestleMania. If they push WrestleMania back two or
<v Speaker 1>three weeks, that's two or three extra weeks of television
<v Speaker 1>they have to fill and they just they don't know
<v Speaker 1>how to do it. They don't know how to stick
<v Speaker 1>the landing with most of this stuff. That's why it
<v Speaker 1>kind of goes over like a lead balloon. So that's
<v Speaker 1>my hope for the future is that at some point
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania is moved back up to late March early April.
<v Speaker 2>That's my wish.
<v Speaker 1>But this was the final raw before WrestleMania forty two
<v Speaker 1>this weekend in Las Vegas, the go home show, the
<v Speaker 1>last chance for them to give the real hard sell
<v Speaker 1>for the key matches on this show, and the key
<v Speaker 1>match on the row side is Roman Reigns challenging Cmpunk
<v Speaker 1>for the World Heavyweight Championship. That is your Night two
<v Speaker 1>main event, which is coming up on Sunday Night. Now,
<v Speaker 1>last week, Roman Reigns was not here and Cmpunk went
<v Speaker 1>out there and he cut a pipe bomb esque promo
<v Speaker 1>where he torched Roman Reigns and then he set fire
<v Speaker 1>to the Rock and he set fire to Pat McAfee
<v Speaker 1>and TKO and he was going after everybody in that
<v Speaker 1>promo last week, right, it was like the CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>of old, and so tonight they come out at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the show and cmpunk takes about you know again,
<v Speaker 1>he takes about seven business days to make his way
<v Speaker 1>through the crowd down to the ring. I mean this
<v Speaker 1>entrance took forever. I said, boy, I hope, I hope
<v Speaker 1>he has something really good to say, and he really didn't. Instead,
<v Speaker 1>he came out and he was very subdued. Last week
<v Speaker 1>he was all fired up. Tonight he was very subdued,
<v Speaker 1>and he apologized to Roman Reigns. He apologized in particular
<v Speaker 1>for invoking his father's name in that promo all those
<v Speaker 1>weeks ago, which is what Jay Usso wanted him to
<v Speaker 1>do the entire time. He just wanted him to apologize,
<v Speaker 1>and Punk couldn't bring himself to do it, so tonight
<v Speaker 1>he finally apologized and it was menave shout out to
<v Speaker 1>Manaf in the chat. I saw it before, just before
<v Speaker 1>I went live, and it cracked me up. He goes,
<v Speaker 1>we are now living on Monday like Friday nights. We're
<v Speaker 1>living in the ruthless depression eraw okay, because SmackDown his garbage.
<v Speaker 2>But now tonight here on.
<v Speaker 1>Raw, we're living in the ruthless affection era where apparently
<v Speaker 1>you come out and you pledge your respect and how
<v Speaker 1>envious you are of the other person. That's what it
<v Speaker 1>felt like here. It felt like a therapy session for
<v Speaker 1>ce I'm Punk. In the closing segment of Raw, it
<v Speaker 1>felt like a guy who last week knew that the
<v Speaker 1>other guy wasn't there, and so he decided to just
<v Speaker 1>go all out.
<v Speaker 2>Right.
<v Speaker 1>He was just fucking torching this guy who's tearing him down,
<v Speaker 1>and he was insulting him in his appearance and all
<v Speaker 1>of these different things. But then this week, right, Daddy's
<v Speaker 1>home and so now we have to be on our
<v Speaker 1>best behavior and we have to apologize to Daddy for
<v Speaker 1>all the horrible things that we've said about him in
<v Speaker 1>the past. That's what it kind of felt like to me,
<v Speaker 1>it felt like he was backing down. He felt very
<v Speaker 1>subdued in this promo and then Roman said, what Roman,
<v Speaker 1>You would expect Roman Reigns to say, where you know?
<v Speaker 2>He said that, you know.
<v Speaker 1>We're going to take it all back at WrestleMania and
<v Speaker 1>the Tribal Chief is going to be the champion again
<v Speaker 1>and again. You can fill in the blank. It was
<v Speaker 1>pretty paint by number stuff, a very underwhelming close to
<v Speaker 1>the show. The best thing I could say about it
<v Speaker 1>is that it wasn't SmackDown. It wasn't SmackDown. And also
<v Speaker 1>we didn't get the tug of war with the belt
<v Speaker 1>that we had with Roman and Brock all those years ago.
<v Speaker 1>Beyond that, it was a promo that happened on the show.
<v Speaker 1>There were several of them. But I have to say,
<v Speaker 1>now that we are finally here, we can look back
<v Speaker 1>at everything that we've gotten from these men, and I
<v Speaker 1>can honestly tell you that the best part of this
<v Speaker 1>it peaked that first raw coming out of the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>After Roman won the Rumble and he announced that he
<v Speaker 1>was going to go after the World Heavyweight championship, and
<v Speaker 1>we had that first face to face with him and
<v Speaker 1>cm Punk. It was all downhill from there, right. There
<v Speaker 1>were some weeks where it was like, all right, this
<v Speaker 1>is not bad, and then there were some weeks where
<v Speaker 1>it was like, man, this ain't that good.
<v Speaker 2>But we never quite.
<v Speaker 1>Reached the peak of that first exchange that they had
<v Speaker 1>on Run, and that was the beginning of February. We
<v Speaker 1>are now in mid April, so they were never quite
<v Speaker 1>able to reach that apex. But they took it home
<v Speaker 1>tonight where Punk wanted to just let the world know
<v Speaker 1>that he was envious of Roman reigns.
<v Speaker 2>He's jealous.
<v Speaker 1>He's jealous that he wasn't born into a wrestling dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he cut his teeth on the independent scene.
<v Speaker 1>He had to work his way up to where he
<v Speaker 1>is today. And Roman, of course, is just like, well,
<v Speaker 1>I don't really give a shit about any of this.
<v Speaker 1>It's about time we get back to business and we
<v Speaker 1>get the belt on somebody who's actually going to make
<v Speaker 1>money for this company. And those were the closing comments.
<v Speaker 1>Very interesting though. The Roman was using the word we
<v Speaker 1>we we take it back. Is this we that he
<v Speaker 1>is referring to, is he referring to the family, is
<v Speaker 1>he referring to something else? Is there something else going
<v Speaker 1>on here?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Last week it was all about the back and forth
<v Speaker 1>with CM Punk and Pat McAfee to the point where
<v Speaker 1>you would think that they were having a match at
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Media.
<v Speaker 2>I am not.
<v Speaker 1>Convinced that McAfee is not going to tie into both
<v Speaker 1>of these main events this weekend. I'm not convinced that
<v Speaker 1>that's not what we're going to see in Las Vegas.
<v Speaker 1>That has me very concerned. So that was a final
<v Speaker 1>bit of business there between Roman and Punk. Not great,
<v Speaker 1>not great, not terrible, but not great, very underwhelming. But actually,
<v Speaker 1>you know what else I could say about it, I'll
<v Speaker 1>give it another little bit of praise here. At least
<v Speaker 1>they didn't have a pull up bar barowl. We've had
<v Speaker 1>a lot of those lately. We could have easily had
<v Speaker 1>another one here at the end of the show. They
<v Speaker 1>resisted the.
<v Speaker 2>Urge, so that was good.
<v Speaker 1>But we had on this show brock Lesnar and Oba Femi.
<v Speaker 1>Now last week they were supposed to have a contract signing.
<v Speaker 1>The contract never got signed. That's how the show went
<v Speaker 1>off the air. Last week, it was just mask as
<v Speaker 1>he took about a.
<v Speaker 2>Pull apart brawl.
<v Speaker 1>We got a pull apart brawl at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the show last week tonight, they said, okay, we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have each man come out individually, so we're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>have them in the ring at the same time. So
<v Speaker 1>it was brock lesnar first at the beginning of the show,
<v Speaker 1>of course, because we got to get him the hell
<v Speaker 1>out of here. We didn't see him again for the
<v Speaker 1>rest of the night. He signed the contract, instantly, made
<v Speaker 1>one comment and then left. Not bad for one night's work.
<v Speaker 1>Oba came out later, and honestly, this was the first
<v Speaker 1>real test for Obafemi on the microphone here on the
<v Speaker 1>main roster, and I thought he passed it with flying colors.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that he acquitted himself very well. And you know,
<v Speaker 1>of course, it's gotta be a little nerve racking because
<v Speaker 1>you got your boss standing right there in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, so Levec is standing there in the corner
<v Speaker 1>watching all of this. But he cut a promo and
<v Speaker 1>again Brock was not out there, so he couldn't go
<v Speaker 1>eye to eye with Brock, but Paul Hayman was and
<v Speaker 1>again I thought that he did what needed to be done.
<v Speaker 1>He let it be known that there's an a new
<v Speaker 1>guy in town. I'm that guy. I'm the guy that's
<v Speaker 1>gonna do what nobody else has been able to do.
<v Speaker 1>I'm the guy that's gonna put down brock Lesner. He's
<v Speaker 1>going to make a statement at WrestleMania that Obafemi has arrived.
<v Speaker 2>Heah.
<v Speaker 1>The thing with Oba is, you know, especially when he
<v Speaker 1>gets going and he really starts to get all fired
<v Speaker 1>up and into the promo, He's got that booming voice
<v Speaker 1>where he just commands the room, and I think that
<v Speaker 1>will do him well. So for somebody who really had
<v Speaker 1>to send it home one last promo here, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think they really had to sell I don't think he
<v Speaker 1>or Brock had to sell a lot of people on
<v Speaker 1>their match. I would wager to bet that most people
<v Speaker 1>are probably looking at that match as the one they
<v Speaker 1>are most looking forward to at WrestleMania. Not everybody, but
<v Speaker 1>I think a lot of people would say that's the match,
<v Speaker 1>and it just so happens that that's the match. That's
<v Speaker 1>the one match in this entire WrestleMania build up that
<v Speaker 1>they have not fucked up. They have not made one
<v Speaker 1>misstep with anything that they have done with brock Lesner
<v Speaker 1>and Obafemi up to this point, which is a amazing
<v Speaker 1>when you look at some of the shit that they've
<v Speaker 1>done with some of the other matches, including their main events.
<v Speaker 1>So that's going to be a very important match for
<v Speaker 1>him this weekend, and it's also going to be airing
<v Speaker 1>on ESPN, first time that WrestleMania is ever airing on ESPN.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the match they're opening Night two with on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>That match and the Women's World Championship match between Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>Vaquierre and Live Morgan Live Morgan tonight. Holy shit, this
<v Speaker 1>woman came out here and she was like a demon possessed. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>forget Demon Balor, Okay, we had Demon Live on the
<v Speaker 1>show tonight. She was far scarier than Demon Balor. This
<v Speaker 1>woman's eyes were basically bugging out of her head as
<v Speaker 1>she was just threatening to murder this woman. And why
<v Speaker 1>not after what Stephanie did to her last week? We
<v Speaker 1>didn't see Roxanne Perez on the show tonight. Hopefully she's
<v Speaker 1>doing well. The very scary moment last week with the
<v Speaker 1>two of them backstage, but that match is happening. There
<v Speaker 1>was no, you know, indication even over the last few
<v Speaker 1>days it was any real jeopardy of not happening, but
<v Speaker 1>there was some question, you know, that maybe they were
<v Speaker 1>in concussion protocol and we saw the big lump on
<v Speaker 1>Liv's head.
<v Speaker 2>But she's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Not only is she fine, but we got a live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan music video which I first saw earlier today, and
<v Speaker 1>they are the entire thing during Raw.
<v Speaker 2>And what I will say is that it was.
<v Speaker 1>It was a video that had music, and I guess
<v Speaker 1>maybe we'll hear it on was it Sunday Saturday? I
<v Speaker 1>don't even know which. I think it's Saturday, whichever night
<v Speaker 1>their matches. It was a video that had music in it.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know they made music videos anymore. I
<v Speaker 1>thought they just stopped doing music videos altogether. It just
<v Speaker 1>seems so pass a to me. And then we had
<v Speaker 1>a two and a half minute music video on this show,
<v Speaker 1>something that will not be on the show at least
<v Speaker 1>still as of this moment, very disappointed. I was holding
<v Speaker 1>out hope. I had my fingers crossed. But then again
<v Speaker 1>I was holding out hope for Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>and we all know how that turned out. But we
<v Speaker 1>have seven matches on Saturday, we have six on Sunday,
<v Speaker 1>and both women had cut promos on each other. Last week,
<v Speaker 1>EO had mentioned Las Vegas. The hope was that we
<v Speaker 1>would get a match announced tonight for WrestleMania with Eosky
<v Speaker 1>and Oscar. That did not happen, which tells me that
<v Speaker 1>they are still waiting to see what is going to
<v Speaker 1>happen with Nikki Bella as far as the women's tag
<v Speaker 1>team title matches concerned, which I think if that's the reason,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I just think that's completely ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>If that's the.
<v Speaker 1>Reason why we may not get that match this weekend,
<v Speaker 1>of all the reasons that you could come up with,
<v Speaker 1>that is just complete bullshit. But that's the impression that
<v Speaker 1>I get out of this. Otherwise they would have announced
<v Speaker 1>something and there's still time. But yeah, it's not looking good.
<v Speaker 1>It's not looking good, and I just think that's such
<v Speaker 1>a that's just such a disappointment to go from, you know,
<v Speaker 1>someone who had what I felt was the match of
<v Speaker 1>the year last year to not having any match at all.
<v Speaker 1>And even in the storyline, you know, they're talking about
<v Speaker 1>her as if she's just Riha's literally calling her Rhea's sidekick,
<v Speaker 1>and it cuts deep because it's a burn because it's true.
<v Speaker 1>That's exactly how she's been booked. That's exactly how it
<v Speaker 1>comes off at She's nothing more than just a side
<v Speaker 1>piece in someone else's story and that's not really the
<v Speaker 1>role that Eosky should be or and look Osca too,
<v Speaker 1>I mean Oscar not being on the WrestleMania card.
<v Speaker 2>Is is terrible too.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know that there was a story for
<v Speaker 1>those two with Kyrie and everything. It was right there
<v Speaker 1>and to get the big payoff of WrestleMania and I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, man, I just don't get it. I don't
<v Speaker 1>get it. How is the wind tag team title match
<v Speaker 1>more important?
<v Speaker 2>Here?
<v Speaker 1>You have an actual story that has been developed here
<v Speaker 1>in this relationship, this toxic relationship with Oscar and EO
<v Speaker 1>or Oscar and Kyrie, And I don't know, I don't
<v Speaker 1>understand the logic behind it. But that was really the
<v Speaker 1>key stuff on the show. And oh, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>the MFTs not only made a cameo on the show tonight,
<v Speaker 1>they wrestled on the show tonight. Yep, I had to
<v Speaker 1>do a double take just to make sure I was
<v Speaker 1>watching the right show. They don't even have a match
<v Speaker 1>on the wrestle Media card they're on SmackDown on Friday night,
<v Speaker 1>but they are not on the wrestle Media card. Let's
<v Speaker 1>talk about this show. This is your Monday Night Raw
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix.
<v Speaker 2>Review.
<v Speaker 1>It is April thirteenth, Lucky number thirteen here for twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty six.
<v Speaker 2>I am Solemn Monster. Oh.
<v Speaker 1>I guess this will be the last time I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to be live on this channel until WrestleMania. So let's
<v Speaker 1>let's make it a good one. Subscribe like we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>do the spin.
<v Speaker 2>The Wheel here in a second.
<v Speaker 1>Find out how many likes we need to do our
<v Speaker 1>b the Booker segment a little bit later on superchats
<v Speaker 1>are open, so get the money in. I will be
<v Speaker 1>reading all of your messages, and I do appreciate all
<v Speaker 1>of the support and all of the nice comments about
<v Speaker 1>the SoundOff this weekend as well.
<v Speaker 2>Sound Off Episode nine, big episode.
<v Speaker 1>Covered a lot of ground there. And tomorrow, of course,
<v Speaker 1>is The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, where I will be reviewing Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>I have not had the chance to talk about Dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>I will be doing that for the first time tomorrow
<v Speaker 1>on The Uncrowned Wrestling Show, and we'll talk WrestleMania and
<v Speaker 1>some other news and notes.
<v Speaker 2>So a lot of.
<v Speaker 1>Content coming your way. This wheel is coming your way.
<v Speaker 1>Let's take this for a spin. Instantly thought of Solemn
<v Speaker 1>Manser when the MFTs appeared. I'm sure a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people did. Four hundred and seventy five likes is the
<v Speaker 1>goal for tonight. We are at three twenty seven, so
<v Speaker 1>we're pretty close already. I mean, four to seventy five
<v Speaker 1>should be pretty easy. With the fourteen hundred plus in
<v Speaker 1>here and climbing. This is gonna be the only chance
<v Speaker 1>we have to do be the booker this week until
<v Speaker 1>Wrestle Matias. So let's see what you guys can do.
<v Speaker 1>But let's get into this show here. We started right
<v Speaker 1>at the very beginning. We had the cold open. Raw
<v Speaker 1>has a cold open every week. There's really no proper
<v Speaker 1>intro for this show anymore. So we had the cold
<v Speaker 1>open with a pre tape promo from Roman Reigns, who
<v Speaker 1>was on the show tonight. But we got a pre
<v Speaker 1>tape promo and we got a live promo.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he didn't really have a whole lot to say,
<v Speaker 1>but here he said that when he won the Royal Rumble,
<v Speaker 1>he told CM punk to enjoy the relevancy that he
<v Speaker 1>had left. He did exactly what he thought he would.
<v Speaker 1>He lied, He tried to revise all of Roman's history.
<v Speaker 1>But the thing is the fan base. They've lived through
<v Speaker 1>it all and Punk did. What Punk did was expose
<v Speaker 1>himself as a hypocrite. And so what they did here
<v Speaker 1>in this video is they played footage old footage of
<v Speaker 1>CM Punk from many years ago, and then they spliced
<v Speaker 1>in more recent comments from him, comments from last week,
<v Speaker 1>comments from when he first came back to the company
<v Speaker 1>three years ago. So in this case, we had Punk
<v Speaker 1>telling Roman you can't get things done on your own.
<v Speaker 1>You always have to use your family, right, your cousins.
<v Speaker 1>Then we see footage of the Shield's debut, this was
<v Speaker 1>twenty twelve, and Punk at the time saying I had
<v Speaker 1>nothing to do with the Shield showing up at Survivors series.
<v Speaker 2>I have nothing to do with any of this stuff.
<v Speaker 1>But then they show footage of Punk a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>ago on Raw telling Roman that I brought you in
<v Speaker 1>the Shield into this company. Punk claimed that he didn't
<v Speaker 1>surround himself with wise men or yes men. Then they
<v Speaker 1>showed Paul Hayman by his side over all these years.
<v Speaker 1>They showed a shot of the straight Edge Society. No
<v Speaker 1>shot of the New Nexus. You know when he cut
<v Speaker 1>that pipe on promo in twenty eleven, that was when
<v Speaker 1>he was the leader of the New Nexus.
<v Speaker 2>They didn't show the New Nexus.
<v Speaker 1>Punk saying that I'm not here to make friends, I'm
<v Speaker 1>here to make money. Writ that comment he made in
<v Speaker 1>that first promo when he came back to the company.
<v Speaker 1>Then they showed shots of him being very friendly with
<v Speaker 1>various members of the roster, mostly female members. But yes,
<v Speaker 1>he's very friendly now he's a friendly chat. Punk claimed
<v Speaker 1>that the company treated him like a dog, and then
<v Speaker 1>they showed highlights of him as the champion for four
<v Speaker 1>hundred and thirty four day, so you get the picture. Here,
<v Speaker 1>they showed Pat McAfee's comments about Punk taking the money
<v Speaker 1>to go to Saudi Arabia, so Roman said it's embarrassing.
<v Speaker 1>He likes Pat McAfee, but never has a punter ran
<v Speaker 1>his mouth about him. Nobody believed in Punk because it's
<v Speaker 1>not twenty twelve anymore, he says, Roman doesn't lie. That's
<v Speaker 1>why people trust him. Tonight, either Punk will tell the
<v Speaker 1>truth or he will. And he ended the promo with
<v Speaker 1>my name is Roman Rains and I approved this message.
<v Speaker 1>So playing off what Punk said. He said the same
<v Speaker 1>thing at the end of his promo last week. So
<v Speaker 1>Roman agrees with McAfee. That was my interesting little takeaway there.
<v Speaker 1>He agrees with Pat McAfee, and again it could mean nothing.
<v Speaker 1>I go back to what he was saying at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the show about we right, we take it
<v Speaker 1>back this weekend, and you know, my fear is that
<v Speaker 1>we're going to see McAfee if not McAfee and Randy
<v Speaker 1>Orton involved, not just in Night one main events stuff,
<v Speaker 1>but potentially also Night two. If in fact, there is
<v Speaker 1>this idea for there to be something bigger, for there
<v Speaker 1>to be some sort of new supergroup in this company.
<v Speaker 1>I find it hard to believe, just because, if the
<v Speaker 1>reports are to be believed, this is something that came
<v Speaker 1>about not all that long ago. It was sort of
<v Speaker 1>foisted upon them by TKO and Ari Emanuel. Find a
<v Speaker 1>way to work this guy into the storyline so that
<v Speaker 1>we can hype up WrestleMania and so that we could
<v Speaker 1>sell more tickets. Not that this was necessarily intended to
<v Speaker 1>be something that was going to be the new top
<v Speaker 1>story in the company that's going to carry them through
<v Speaker 1>the summer. Right, or through the rest of the year.
<v Speaker 1>And also I question how often we're going to be
<v Speaker 1>seeing people like Roman Reigns around once WrestleMania comes and goes. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if Roman goes to WrestleMania and wins the championship, then yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna have to say. I would certainly hope we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna be seeing him on a more regular basis. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not convinced of that. So I point these things out
<v Speaker 1>because maybe it means nothing, but it is something I noticed.
<v Speaker 1>Then there is if you want a fantasy book, this
<v Speaker 1>out in your head. I don't know that people are
<v Speaker 1>necessarily going to be super excited about some sort of
<v Speaker 1>TKO versus WWE storyline, But to me, it doesn't even
<v Speaker 1>work because the people that would be the engine to
<v Speaker 1>make that work, I'm not convinced they're even going to
<v Speaker 1>be around much after WrestleMania, So like what or at
<v Speaker 1>least backlash maybe, But you know what are we looking at?
<v Speaker 1>If those people aren't around, how does that story even work?
<v Speaker 1>How do you even begin to make that work unless
<v Speaker 1>these people are consistently on the show every single week.
<v Speaker 1>To me, that's where it falls short. Now we cut
<v Speaker 1>live to the Arena, Adam Pierce and Paulavecker in the
<v Speaker 1>ring for another attempt at a contract signing with Brocklesnw
<v Speaker 1>Obafemi in advance of their match at WRESTLEMANI. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>it broke down into chaos at the end of the
<v Speaker 1>show last week and nothing got signed. So Pierce said,
<v Speaker 1>they've determined, or they are determined to make sure this
<v Speaker 1>match happens. What they've decided to do is that we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have each man sign the contract separately. Paul Haman
<v Speaker 1>walked out. He introduced brock Lesner, who got in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He immediately signed the contract. Hayman said that it may
<v Speaker 1>well be a Nigerian death warrant, it may as well
<v Speaker 1>be for Obafemi. Lesner swiped the microphone out of Hayman's
<v Speaker 1>hand and said, we won't even know your name. We're
<v Speaker 1>not even gonna know Obafemi's name. After Sunday, Hayman gave
<v Speaker 1>us a spoiler for what he called the real WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>main event. Brock Lesner will win and Obafemi will lose. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>he gave us the spoiler. Not good, but that was it.
<v Speaker 1>That was it. It was as basic a segment as
<v Speaker 1>you can ask for. Brock put his cowboy hat on,
<v Speaker 1>he left. We never saw him again for the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the show. See on Sunday.
<v Speaker 2>That's it.
<v Speaker 1>He did his job. He's going home for the week.
<v Speaker 1>Footage aired of Logan Paul and Austin Theory with I
<v Speaker 1>show Speed. They were in a I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>they were at the performance center or they were in
<v Speaker 1>a gym somewhere. There was a ring behind them. So
<v Speaker 1>they were about to have a training session. So they're
<v Speaker 1>trying to get Speed excited, like, dude, look, nobody likes you. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>everybody hates you. You hit La Night, all these things
<v Speaker 1>have been going wrong. Like you're in it. Whether you
<v Speaker 1>like it or not, you're in it. So you got
<v Speaker 1>to embrace it. You gotta get used to it. So
<v Speaker 1>they got him all hyped up, and they showed him
<v Speaker 1>training in the ring, and he got the better of
<v Speaker 1>some developmental wrestlers. I saw Malik Blade, I saw Dante Chen.
<v Speaker 1>He was in there. I think he was the one
<v Speaker 1>who Speed put in the Boston Crab.
<v Speaker 2>I believe. So. By the end of this Speed was like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm ready, Yeah, I'm ready.
<v Speaker 1>For WRESTLEMANI he was all pumped up and you could tell, like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he did a big moon salt landed on
<v Speaker 1>his feet off the top rope. I'm sure we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>see some stuff from him that people are gonna go
<v Speaker 1>like wow. You know, because he's an athletic guy. He
<v Speaker 1>can move around. So if I think if they keep
<v Speaker 1>him limited in limited doses, he could do some fun
<v Speaker 1>stuff and some impressive stuff in the match. That's fine.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it's a six man tag. He doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>to shoulder the burden all by himself. But by the
<v Speaker 1>end of this he seemed to be confident. He's no
<v Speaker 1>longer afraid. So that match is kicking off Night one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we look back on some of the great all time
<v Speaker 1>opening matches in WrestleMania history. Of course, the first one
<v Speaker 1>that always comes to mind for me Bret the Hitman
<v Speaker 1>Hard against Owen Hart WrestleMania ten, Daniel Brynt in Triple
<v Speaker 1>H WRESTLEMANI at thirty, and now we have the usso's
<v Speaker 1>in La Night against the Vision and I Show Speed
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania forty two. Actually there was another great opening
<v Speaker 1>match too, I have to give credit to I believe
<v Speaker 1>it was at WrestleMania at thirty four. The four way
<v Speaker 1>for the Intercontinental Championship was it balor Rollins miss And
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember who the fourth one was, but I
<v Speaker 1>do remember that match being an excellent match. But who knows,
<v Speaker 1>maybe this will go down in the history books as
<v Speaker 1>the best of them all. I wouldn't be placing any
<v Speaker 1>monetary bets on that. Charlotte Flair went one on one
<v Speaker 1>with Lyra Valkyria here on this show. I thought they
<v Speaker 1>had a good one for the time it lasted. I
<v Speaker 1>think this one about ten minutes. Charlotte went up for
<v Speaker 1>a moon salt landed it only got two. Lyra blocked
<v Speaker 1>a natural selection. She got a Fisherman buster for two
<v Speaker 1>kind of her own. Charlotte tossed Lyra into Bailey because
<v Speaker 1>Bailey was outside, Alexa Bliss was outside, and Charlotte avoided
<v Speaker 1>a kick. She rolled Lyra up, and then Bailey yanked
<v Speaker 1>on Charlotte's leg and Lyra fell backwards onto her in
<v Speaker 1>some sort of pinning predicament here, not really a roll
<v Speaker 1>up so much, but she got the pin on Charlotte,
<v Speaker 1>and Charlotte was furious when this was over that Bailey
<v Speaker 1>interfered and reached in and grabbed her leg, so they
<v Speaker 1>got in a shoving match. All four women now were
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and then cooler heads prevailed. We did
<v Speaker 1>not see the tag team champions here where there was
<v Speaker 1>no appearance from Nya, Jax and Lash legend, and there
<v Speaker 1>was no uh oh yeah, maybe it was a triple threat?
<v Speaker 1>Was it a triple threat? At WrestleMania thirty four? For
<v Speaker 1>some reason, I thought it was okay, it was a
<v Speaker 1>triple threat. I thought it was a four way. But
<v Speaker 1>I got all the names right, I got all look
<v Speaker 1>at that?
<v Speaker 2>How about that? See?
<v Speaker 1>And you all think I don't like any mismatches a WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>See you think you know me, but you don't. You
<v Speaker 1>only think you do. No Naya and Lash and no
<v Speaker 1>Bella Twins. The situation where the Bella Twins has not changed.
<v Speaker 1>Nicki Bella has a fucked up ankle, it's a bed sprain,
<v Speaker 1>and she is not yet medically cleared, so that whole
<v Speaker 1>situation is in limbo. And again I look at this,
<v Speaker 1>and I go, if this is having an effect on
<v Speaker 1>any other match that might be added to the card,
<v Speaker 1>because they might want to swap a different team in
<v Speaker 1>to replace them. I don't understand what the big deal is.
<v Speaker 1>Either Nicki Bella can go or she can't. But if
<v Speaker 1>the Bellas can't go, you just take the Bellas out
<v Speaker 1>and you turn it into a triple threat. I don't
<v Speaker 1>see what's so complicated about this. I certainly hope that's
<v Speaker 1>not the reason that we're not getting EO and osca
<v Speaker 1>a WrestleMania because of that. Again, if that's the reason,
<v Speaker 1>that's a stupid reason. But I will say, uh, I
<v Speaker 1>did my wrestle many of predictions yesterday and I said
<v Speaker 1>I was going with Bailey and Lyra to win, and
<v Speaker 1>I'll stick with that for now. But Little's confident in that.
<v Speaker 1>After Lyra got the win over Charlotte, Little les confident.
<v Speaker 1>Backstage La Night and the Ussos were confronted I shit
<v Speaker 1>you not by Solo Socoa and the motherfucking Teas. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>the MFTs and Solo Socoa. They wandered over. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we have this back rooms movie coming out of those
<v Speaker 1>of you familiar with the back rooms right, we have
<v Speaker 1>a backrooms movie feature film from A twenty four. It's
<v Speaker 1>coming out on May twenty ninth. I'm very excited. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna be I will be seated as they say, I'll
<v Speaker 1>be in the movie theater watching that movie. And I
<v Speaker 1>feel like with Solo, Socoa and the mft's like if
<v Speaker 1>you saw the trailer for the back Rooms movie, the
<v Speaker 1>guy sees a little like crack in the wall and
<v Speaker 1>he's able to walk through the wall and he ends
<v Speaker 1>up in the back rooms, which is a little bit
<v Speaker 1>different than the way the back rooms usually work, but
<v Speaker 1>in the trailer that's what they show, and I kind
<v Speaker 1>of feel like they're in the backstage area at SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>and they walk through a wall and they end up
<v Speaker 1>on Raw, And that's how the mft's arrived on Raw tonight.
<v Speaker 1>They fell into the back rooms like Raw is the
<v Speaker 1>back rooms, and they went from they passed from SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>to Raw like like a fucking portal. Why are they here?
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm looking at this going why are they here?
<v Speaker 1>Why are they on the show?
<v Speaker 2>I had to do a.
<v Speaker 1>Double take to make sure I wasn't accidentally rewatching SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>because nobody should ever be doing that. They walk up
<v Speaker 1>and they confront La Knight in the usas Solo says,
<v Speaker 1>you know, he's been dealing with a lot on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>he's been dealing with a lot of stuff. Yeah, we've
<v Speaker 1>all been dealing with a lot of stuff on smack Down.
<v Speaker 1>But the usos make the family look bad by hanging
<v Speaker 1>out with La Knight. La Knight then challenged them to
<v Speaker 1>a six man tag team match so he could smack
<v Speaker 1>them back to factory settings. I wish we could do
<v Speaker 1>that to SmackDown. Is there a button that we could
<v Speaker 1>push on Fridays to reset smack Down back to factory
<v Speaker 1>settings and start all over again, because I would like
<v Speaker 1>to do that. Yes, they clipped the MFTs accidentally clipped
<v Speaker 1>into the frame here on raw. Oh man, So we
<v Speaker 1>had the women's world champion.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, this was interesting.
<v Speaker 1>We had the women's world champion, Stephanie Viquier, who nearly
<v Speaker 1>killed two people last week. Very impressive. She took out
<v Speaker 1>two people with one shot. That's a hard thing to do.
<v Speaker 1>She made her way out to the ring for an
<v Speaker 1>interview with Kathy Kelly, and before Kathy could really ask much,
<v Speaker 1>a crazed Live Morgan hit the ring from behind and
<v Speaker 1>attacked Stephanie Vicaire. And if you look closely, because her
<v Speaker 1>hair was kind of blocking her face, but if you
<v Speaker 1>look closely at her forehead, Livestill had. I couldn't tell
<v Speaker 1>if it was quite as pronounced. It probably wasn't quite
<v Speaker 1>as bad as it was last week. That giant knot
<v Speaker 1>that was right on her forehead from when her skull
<v Speaker 1>collided with Roxanne skull last week with very scary, a
<v Speaker 1>sickening thud. So she had a little bit of a
<v Speaker 1>black and blue bump on her forehead. But she tackles
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie and they had to be pulled apart. Another pull apart,
<v Speaker 1>so they had to be pulled apart. And when she
<v Speaker 1>attacked her initially, when she attacked Stephanie, Kathy Kelly got
<v Speaker 1>bumped and Kathy Kelly fell to the mat. So Kathy
<v Speaker 1>for the first time took a bump and she went
<v Speaker 1>down and she was crying, and she was laying in
<v Speaker 1>the corner, and nobody.
<v Speaker 2>Was helping Kathy Kelly.
<v Speaker 1>She just laid there for several minutes while the officials
<v Speaker 1>tried to separate Stephanie and Live, and Live is screaming
<v Speaker 1>like a banshee and there and they're trying to get
<v Speaker 1>her away and she is just completely out of her mind.
<v Speaker 1>She she is screaming bloody murder. I said her eyes
<v Speaker 1>looked like they were bulging out of her skull. I
<v Speaker 1>saw somebody said that she looked like Gollum or something.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, she looked, she know, she looked like she
<v Speaker 1>looked like she hadn't slept since raw last week. So
<v Speaker 1>she just looked like a crazy person out there, and
<v Speaker 1>she looked very scary. And as she was being dragged
<v Speaker 1>away again, the camera is right in front of her
<v Speaker 1>face and she's looking up at Stephanie in the ring. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>let me back up a little bit here, because this
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even the whole thing. So Stephanie initially was the
<v Speaker 1>one who was being pulled away from.
<v Speaker 2>The ringside area.
<v Speaker 1>Liv gets on the mic and she says, I knew
<v Speaker 1>your mother was trash, but I I didn't know that she.
<v Speaker 2>Raised a little bitch.
<v Speaker 1>And that brought Stephanie back into the ring and the
<v Speaker 1>brawl continued, and then eventually Lived was the one who
<v Speaker 1>got pulled away. So the parting shot was Live in
<v Speaker 1>the aisle being pulled away, just staring a hole in
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie and screaming and losing her fucking mind. And I
<v Speaker 1>gotta tell you, I like this. I like this a lot. Now,
<v Speaker 1>if you're gonna do another pull apart brawl. We've seen
<v Speaker 1>a dozen of these. If you're gonna do them, you
<v Speaker 1>at least have to try to make a different in
<v Speaker 1>some way, make it intense. I just got done watching
<v Speaker 1>and I'm sure many of you saw it as well,
<v Speaker 1>the best pull apart brawl that I have seen in years,
<v Speaker 1>and it happened on a show that neither of these
<v Speaker 1>men are even on the WrestleMania card this weekend. It
<v Speaker 1>was from the Triple A Show on Saturday with Elgrande
<v Speaker 1>Americano Kaiser and Elgrande Americano Gable. Just a tremendous piece
<v Speaker 1>of business that had more heat than anything on the
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania card.
<v Speaker 2>Legit. And so if you're going to do that sort of.
<v Speaker 1>Pull apart brawl, make it mean something. Make it so
<v Speaker 1>that it really looks like these two people want to
<v Speaker 1>fucking tear each other to shreds, and holy shit, like
<v Speaker 1>they better keep these two apart. That's the vibe you
<v Speaker 1>got from watching this that it has gotten deeply personal
<v Speaker 1>with the insults, all the comments that have been made,
<v Speaker 1>and then of course what happened to lives Head last
<v Speaker 1>week and now she's just completely just gone off the
<v Speaker 1>deep end. You know, they made the most of it.
<v Speaker 1>They made the most of the pull apart. I thought
<v Speaker 1>that this was very enjoyable. Poor Kathy, she had to
<v Speaker 1>be helped to the back. She was crying on her
<v Speaker 1>way to the back. She did well, she did I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure she was very excited for her big moment tonight.
<v Speaker 1>She didn't have to do much. She just had to
<v Speaker 1>fall down. But she did well. And we got an
<v Speaker 1>update later from Michael Cole that she's fine.
<v Speaker 2>She's going to be just fine.
<v Speaker 1>There are people who are genuinely concerned on my timeline
<v Speaker 1>that she might have gotten hurt. I was like, well,
<v Speaker 1>she's that convincing. She's fine, people, there's nothing wrong with Kathy.
<v Speaker 1>Kathy is fine. But this match at WrestleMania. You know,
<v Speaker 1>when I look at the build up to all of
<v Speaker 1>the different matches on these two shows, I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to say Live in Stephanie has had the best build up.
<v Speaker 1>I still think that belongs to Brock and Oba, but
<v Speaker 1>this one's up there. You know, the stuff that they've
<v Speaker 1>done in recent weeks and how personal it feels like
<v Speaker 1>it's gotten between these two. They've done a better job
<v Speaker 1>on this match than they have most of the other
<v Speaker 1>matches on the card, you know to where I am.
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking forward to seeing these two get in the
<v Speaker 1>ring and tear each other apart. So they've done a
<v Speaker 1>good job with this. Now we see eclipse of Jade
<v Speaker 1>Cargill beating EO Sky, painting her right in the middle
<v Speaker 1>of the ring. On SmackDown Friday Night, Jackie Redman is
<v Speaker 1>in the back with EO Sky and she asks her
<v Speaker 1>if she has anything to say after Friday Night. She said,
<v Speaker 1>no one will be rooting for Rhea more than she will.
<v Speaker 1>Osca and Kyrie sayin they come up, and Oscar says
<v Speaker 1>that last year, Eo walked into WrestleMania as the defending
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Champion. This year she's walking into WrestleMania as
<v Speaker 1>Rhea's sidekick. And again that cut deep because where's the lie? Right,
<v Speaker 1>as the Great Bobby Fish would say, where's the lie?
<v Speaker 1>That's one hundred percent fact, That's exactly what it is.
<v Speaker 1>That's the situation she finds herself in. It's disgraceful to
<v Speaker 1>go from having the kind of match that she had
<v Speaker 1>last year and you can't even find a place for
<v Speaker 1>this woman on the card this year. You got two nights.
<v Speaker 1>You have two nights. She's probably the best wrestler in
<v Speaker 1>the entire company. Doesn't even have a match on the show,
<v Speaker 1>not even important enough to make sure that there is
<v Speaker 1>a match carved out for her out of a card
<v Speaker 1>that will have at least thirteen and you couldn't find
<v Speaker 1>a spot for her on the card. It's disgraceful. So
<v Speaker 1>Oscar said that Kyrie. Now EO is again trying to
<v Speaker 1>just plead with Kyrie here. You don't need her. She's
<v Speaker 1>trying to like get through to this woman. And Oscar said,
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie is loyal to her. Sendpie and she'll prove it
<v Speaker 1>tonight against EO. And this caught Kyrie off guard. But
<v Speaker 1>she stepped up to EO and she said, right, send Pie, Sendpi,
<v Speaker 1>being you know, Oscar is her senior or her mentor.
<v Speaker 2>So we got EO and Kyrie.
<v Speaker 1>We did not get the match that we thought we
<v Speaker 1>would get this weekend, but tonight we got EO and Kyrie.
<v Speaker 1>But before that we had another match. We had La
<v Speaker 1>Knight the USOS taking on Solo Socoa, J C. Matteo
<v Speaker 1>and Tonga Loa Talatanga was out there on the floor
<v Speaker 1>in their corner. They were down one mft. There was
<v Speaker 1>no Tomatanga to be found. Solo Sokoa had the dreaded
<v Speaker 1>Samoan nerve hold. When they came back from commercial. He
<v Speaker 1>had the Samoan nerve hole right there applied on jay
<v Speaker 1>Uso Yoko Zuna used to use that move all the time.
<v Speaker 1>So Solo was I mean, this match didn't even go
<v Speaker 1>three or four full minutes. Solo was on the floor
<v Speaker 1>outside when all of a sudden, Tomatonga shows up. He's
<v Speaker 1>just casually walking I guess, out of the crowd through
<v Speaker 1>the time keeper's area. Solo looks over and goes, where
<v Speaker 1>the hell have you been? Where the hell have you been?
<v Speaker 1>And Tama is just standing there. And now Talatanga comes
<v Speaker 1>over and Talatoga is staring at Tomatonga. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>Tonga's here, So as all of this is going on
<v Speaker 1>inside the ring, poor Tanga Loa is caught with a
<v Speaker 1>BFT and pinned by La Night. And maybe that's the
<v Speaker 1>biggest story of all, is that La Night actually got
<v Speaker 1>to win here on Monday Night Raw riveting stuff. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not sure why we needed to bring this to Raw
<v Speaker 1>when the MFTs forget the factor on SmackDown. They don't
<v Speaker 1>even have a match at WrestleMania. We know they have
<v Speaker 1>a match coming up with the Wyatt six, a street
<v Speaker 1>fight coming up on Friday Night, but this is your
<v Speaker 1>final hard sell for WrestleMania, So the focus really should
<v Speaker 1>be on the people that are in the matches that
<v Speaker 1>are on the WrestleMania card this weekend from Monday Night Raw,
<v Speaker 1>and instead they brought people over from SmackDown who aren't
<v Speaker 1>even on the fucking show. So I am I'm just
<v Speaker 1>wondering why the hell this had to take place on
<v Speaker 1>Raw tonight. It is pretty clear that Tomatonga or Solo Soucoa,
<v Speaker 1>one of the two are on their way out of
<v Speaker 1>his crew very soon. If it's going to be Solo,
<v Speaker 1>then it would mean that the collective would be kicking
<v Speaker 1>him out. I don't know if that's going to happen,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, they brought up Shinsky Nakamora on commentary
<v Speaker 1>because he's been trying to get through to Tomatonga. You
<v Speaker 1>don't need to hang out with these guys. He's like
<v Speaker 1>trying to pull them away from his family. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where this is headed. I don't know if this
<v Speaker 1>is leading to some sort of new group that's going
<v Speaker 1>to be formed with Tomatonga and Shinsky, Nakimora and someone else.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the endgame is here, and I
<v Speaker 1>wish I could tell you that I was more interested
<v Speaker 1>to find out, but I'm really not because the way
<v Speaker 1>they've told this story, and the way they tell stories
<v Speaker 1>in a lot of cases when it comes especially to
<v Speaker 1>the mid card angles and feuds, it's just not compelling,
<v Speaker 1>you know. And when I say compelling, you know you
<v Speaker 1>know the way that you know, Paula vac He likes
<v Speaker 1>to drag these stories out. And look, long term storytelling
<v Speaker 1>is one thing, but the way some of this stuff
<v Speaker 1>gets dragged out over such an extended period of time time,
<v Speaker 1>the risk you run is that if you're not dealing
<v Speaker 1>with interesting source material, if you don't and you don't
<v Speaker 1>pay it off relatively quickly, people are going to lose interest.
<v Speaker 1>And you can't tell me that there's a shit ton
<v Speaker 1>of people who are terribly interested to see how this
<v Speaker 1>whole MFTs thing is going to play out, because they
<v Speaker 1>really haven't given you a reason to care all that
<v Speaker 1>much about any of these people. But again, I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>this like why am I seeing this on.
<v Speaker 2>A raw.
<v Speaker 1>Can we leave this on SmackDown please? With the lantern
<v Speaker 1>and everything else that's been happening. So they replayed the
<v Speaker 1>terrible Speaking of SmackDown, we went from the MFTs to
<v Speaker 1>a replay highlights of the terrible Pat McAfee segment with
<v Speaker 1>Pat and Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton and Jelly Roll
<v Speaker 1>from SmackDown on Friday nights for those of you who
<v Speaker 1>wish to relive this yet again. By the way, for
<v Speaker 1>all the talk about Pat McAfee going out there and
<v Speaker 1>delivering the great news that, thanks to Ram Trucks, the
<v Speaker 1>sponsor of WrestleMania, if you buy a WrestleMania ticket from
<v Speaker 1>then until the end of Raw tonight, so the deal
<v Speaker 1>is over now or maybe a midnight it is, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, but twenty five percent off all WrestleMania Saturday
<v Speaker 1>tickets from Friday night until the end of Raw tonight.
<v Speaker 1>And for all the talk about this big ticket promotion,
<v Speaker 1>and that was Pat McAfee's massive surprise that he was
<v Speaker 1>promising for smack that on Friday they sold a whopping
<v Speaker 1>twelve hundred or so tickets more, I believe for WrestleMania Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>They actually moved more tickets for WrestleMania Sunday, which did
<v Speaker 1>not have the ticket discount, than they did for WrestleMania Saturday.
<v Speaker 1>Read into that what you will? I mean, hey, I
<v Speaker 1>thought this angle would supposed to draw in all these fans, right,
<v Speaker 1>all the people who were defending this shit. And there
<v Speaker 1>are people defending this shit. Where where's all the interest?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they should have saw they should have moved
<v Speaker 1>a few thousand tickets at least. Doesn't seem like it worked.
<v Speaker 1>And now the deal is over, let's they extended again.
<v Speaker 1>I think the number was like twelve to fifty, twelve
<v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty tickets. So what they go from thirty
<v Speaker 1>nine hundred to maybe uh thirty one hundred and thirty
<v Speaker 1>nine thousand to forty thousand, maybe forty one? Yeah, good job.
<v Speaker 1>So we heard a Gunther's music. The ring general makes
<v Speaker 1>his way out to the ring and before he could
<v Speaker 1>say a word, he gets jumped by seth Rawlins. So
<v Speaker 1>we go right into Thankfully it wasn't a pull apart.
<v Speaker 1>Nobody came out to separate them. They just allowed them
<v Speaker 1>to fire. They picked and choose who they allowed to fight.
<v Speaker 1>You could tell like who they see as the really
<v Speaker 1>truly important figures on these shows based upon how quickly
<v Speaker 1>they send people out their agents out there to break
<v Speaker 1>them up. And they didn't do that here, but they
<v Speaker 1>were going at it for a little bit. And Rollins
<v Speaker 1>knocks Guntherer out of the ring and he grabs a
<v Speaker 1>mic and he says that was Gunther's receipt and in
<v Speaker 1>six nights of WrestleMania, Rollins is going to finish the job.
<v Speaker 1>So he said, if this is personal for you, you
<v Speaker 1>talk about how it's personal, Well, if it's personal for you,
<v Speaker 1>then you should walk back down to this ring, and
<v Speaker 1>you should tell me why. Tell me why you want
<v Speaker 1>to fight me at WrestleMania, tell me why. I thought
<v Speaker 1>he was going to break into song here, but I
<v Speaker 1>guess they were saving that for liv Morgan later. He
<v Speaker 1>should have started singing. Actually, that actually would have been
<v Speaker 1>very entertaining for me. Well, I'll spare you. So Gunher
<v Speaker 1>walks back down to the ring. I'm like, okay, it
<v Speaker 1>looks like we're actually going to get some kind of
<v Speaker 1>explanation here. We never really did get a real explanation
<v Speaker 1>for why he attacked Rollins. All those weeks ago. We
<v Speaker 1>know of this favor that he is expecting from Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman at some point, but beyond that, you know, he
<v Speaker 1>talks about how personal it is, and it's like, all right, well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you say that, but you haven't really demonstrated
<v Speaker 1>to us exactly what makes it so personal. So let's
<v Speaker 1>see what he has to say. So Gunh gets into
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he confesses that he is solving Paul
<v Speaker 1>Hayman's problem because Seth is pissing him off.
<v Speaker 2>For years.
<v Speaker 1>Seth has been strutting around and I'm like, like a peacock.
<v Speaker 1>He should have said like a peacock, but he's been
<v Speaker 1>strutting around like he's the best in the world inside
<v Speaker 1>the ring, He's the best in the ring, in this company,
<v Speaker 1>in the world. And he goes, you're not I am.
<v Speaker 1>And when Gunther was World heavyweight Champion, he said, instead
<v Speaker 1>of Rollins seeking out the highest level of competition, he
<v Speaker 1>became a useful idiot for Paul Hayman. So WrestleMania is
<v Speaker 1>personal for him to expose that Seth Rollins can't lace
<v Speaker 1>his boots, and Gunher gave him a bit of a
<v Speaker 1>head butt, not like a full on head butt, kind
<v Speaker 1>of brushed his head up against Seth and gave him
<v Speaker 1>a little nudge, and the two of them came to blows.
<v Speaker 1>Gunh tried to power bomb him, Rollins landed on his feet.
<v Speaker 1>He kicked Gunther out of the ring. Gunher was kind
<v Speaker 1>of hunched over by the ring steps outside and Rollins
<v Speaker 1>came in. He was going to stomp him on the steps,
<v Speaker 1>and Gunther avoided it narrowly at the very last second,
<v Speaker 1>and he retreated into the crowd. I appreciate them giving
<v Speaker 1>us an actual reason why these two were having a
<v Speaker 1>mat of WrestleMania. I didn't think we were going to
<v Speaker 1>get one beyond what we heard a couple of weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>So I like the fact that they Lea's offered some
<v Speaker 1>sort of rationale. We have two wrestlers who each believe
<v Speaker 1>that they are the best in the world, and what
<v Speaker 1>we are going to get at WrestleMania is a wrestling
<v Speaker 1>match between these two to find out which one of
<v Speaker 1>them is the best in the world. Now, look, there's
<v Speaker 1>Gunther going around saying, oh, well, this is personal, this
<v Speaker 1>is personal for me realistically, right, there's no history there.
<v Speaker 1>There's only so much they can really do there's only
<v Speaker 1>so much they can really come up with for a
<v Speaker 1>personal explanation. This is not personal the fact that you
<v Speaker 1>pissed me off because I think I'm the best wrestler
<v Speaker 1>in the world and you say you're the best wrestler.
<v Speaker 1>So let's find out who the like. That's not a
<v Speaker 1>personal issue, like it's all bullshit, But they at least tried, right,
<v Speaker 1>They wanted you They wanted to demonstrate why Gunther was
<v Speaker 1>so annoyed with Seth Rollins and why he takes personal offense.
<v Speaker 1>And so here we are now we have a match
<v Speaker 1>between them a WrestleMania, But that's not really a personal issue, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's not really I mean, we've seen some persal issues
<v Speaker 1>before even building up to this WrestleMania. Things have got
<v Speaker 1>really personal some of the comments Punk and Roman, you
<v Speaker 1>know that they've made to each other, and that's not
<v Speaker 1>really what this is. But they had to at least
<v Speaker 1>try to explain it. They did the best they could.
<v Speaker 1>At the end of the day, this could be the
<v Speaker 1>sleeper match of the weekend. You have Gunther and Seth Roland,
<v Speaker 1>truly two of the best in the entire company. They're
<v Speaker 1>going to go out there and have a wrestling match,
<v Speaker 1>a WrestleMania. I'm expecting this to be excellent. Fine by me.
<v Speaker 1>It's really all it needs to be two guys who
<v Speaker 1>want to prove they're the better wrestler. It's a simple concept.
<v Speaker 1>Personal is not a word I would use to describe it.
<v Speaker 1>We got a teaser for the return of the Demon.
<v Speaker 1>They couldn't wait. They wanted you to know the Demon
<v Speaker 1>was going to be a WrestleMania so they could sell tickets.
<v Speaker 1>So they spoiled it even though they basically, I mean
<v Speaker 1>they all but told us last week, but then later
<v Speaker 1>that night on social media they literally had like the
<v Speaker 1>Demon on the poster.
<v Speaker 2>They didn't waste any time.
<v Speaker 1>They're like, hey, we got to sell some tickets here,
<v Speaker 1>so let's go ahead and promote the Demon. So, yes,
<v Speaker 1>the Demon is going to be wrestling Dirty dom So
<v Speaker 1>Dominic was backstage with Adam Pierce and he was very
<v Speaker 1>angry about this, and he complained to Pierce and you know,
<v Speaker 1>Finn had told him the Demon was dead and he
<v Speaker 1>signed to face Finn Balor. He didn't sign up for this.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't sign up for a match with the Demon.
<v Speaker 1>Pierce says, look, Raymisterio, he deserves to be in the
<v Speaker 1>match that he's in at WrestleMania. He's going to be
<v Speaker 1>wrestling for the interconfidental title. You deserve to be in
<v Speaker 1>the match that you're in at WrestleMania. So the match
<v Speaker 1>is not being changed. I didn't think it was going
<v Speaker 1>to be, but I guess you with the expression you
<v Speaker 1>missed one hundred percent of the shots that you don't take.
<v Speaker 1>Dom had to at least try. So we had Eo
<v Speaker 1>Sky against Kyrie's Sane. Oscar is a ringside Kyrie distracted
<v Speaker 1>the referee after she was knocked down off the top
<v Speaker 1>of r by Oscar because they were jockeying for position
<v Speaker 1>up there, and so Kyrie gets.
<v Speaker 2>Knocked off the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Now EO is hanging from the ropes, not in the
<v Speaker 1>ring like a tree of woe, but really on the
<v Speaker 1>other side the referee, I believe the referee was Jessica Carr.
<v Speaker 1>The referee is distracted by Kyrie, and so Osca gets
<v Speaker 1>up on the apron and she grabs EO and she
<v Speaker 1>kind of swings her into the ring post casing which
<v Speaker 1>makes this loud noise which evidently the referee didn't hear.
<v Speaker 1>So the referee didn't see it. Rhea Ripley's music plays
<v Speaker 1>and she runs down to the ring. She delivers a
<v Speaker 1>head butt to Osca that totally missed. Oscar sold it anyway,
<v Speaker 1>but didn't even connect, and she went to go give
<v Speaker 1>Osca riptide on the floor outside, but then before she
<v Speaker 1>could hit Riptide, Jade Cargill has also come over from
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown and she attacks Rhea from behind. EO then wiped
<v Speaker 1>out Jade with her crazy suicide dive out to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>EO went back to the top, but the fucking referee
<v Speaker 1>yet again was distracted. This was this, I mean, this
<v Speaker 1>was just absurd. There were at least I think three
<v Speaker 1>different times in this match where the referee was distracted.
<v Speaker 1>I think they need to go through some new referee training.
<v Speaker 1>They're too easily distracted. They can't do their job. So
<v Speaker 1>she's distracted again, which allows Osca to get back up
<v Speaker 1>on the apron and she trips EO and Kyrie rolls
<v Speaker 1>up for the win. Holy shit, Kyrie Sayin actually won
<v Speaker 1>a match. I can't. I mean, the fact that she
<v Speaker 1>even had a match, let alone that she won a
<v Speaker 1>singles match on this show is just incredible.
<v Speaker 2>Incredible.
<v Speaker 1>I will tell you that this was Kyrie Sayne's first
<v Speaker 1>win of the entire year. It probably doesn't surprise you,
<v Speaker 1>but it's her first win of the entire year. Her
<v Speaker 1>last singles match was in October on my birthday, and
<v Speaker 1>do you know who it was against? EO Sky. And
<v Speaker 1>as far as Eosky is concerned, she is winless in
<v Speaker 1>singles matches through the middle of April. That she hasn't
<v Speaker 1>had a lot of singles matches. She's had at least three,
<v Speaker 1>I think at least three, maybe four televised singles matches.
<v Speaker 1>She has lost every single one of them. And we
<v Speaker 1>are not getting Eyo Ski Oski. It looks like a
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania most likely we're not getting it a WrestleMania pending
<v Speaker 1>whatever the resolution is to the Nicky Bella situation. So
<v Speaker 1>it has not been a good year for EO Sky,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry to say. And if you look at the
<v Speaker 1>three women who were in the World Championship match last
<v Speaker 1>year at WrestleMania, Io was having a terrible year. Bianca
<v Speaker 1>bell Air still has not come back, and Rhea Ripley
<v Speaker 1>is the only one she's challenging for the championship. A
<v Speaker 1>different one at least she has a title match at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't think that's going to end well for
<v Speaker 1>her either, That's my prediction. After a commercial, Adam Pearson
<v Speaker 1>Triple H we're back in the ring, this time to
<v Speaker 1>bring out Oba Femi to sign the contract for WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>So he marched down to the ring. Did you see
<v Speaker 1>by the way, they are now selling those Oba Femi
<v Speaker 1>necklaces with the giant red balls on them, And I
<v Speaker 1>think they're selling them. What are they selling them for?
<v Speaker 1>Somebody could look at it up on WWE's shop. I
<v Speaker 1>think it's like thirty five or forty bucks each.
<v Speaker 2>I think.
<v Speaker 1>When you factor in shipping one necklace will probably run
<v Speaker 1>you at least fifty bucks. I would love to know
<v Speaker 1>what those things are made of. So he marches down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring and he signs the contract and Triple
<v Speaker 1>H now is pointing at the aisleway. So Oba turns
<v Speaker 1>around and there's Paul Hayman, and Hayman is keeping his distance.
<v Speaker 1>He's standing over by the stage and he puts Oba
<v Speaker 1>over this again. There's no Brock. We didn't see Brock
<v Speaker 1>again after the opening segment, but Hayman is putting him
<v Speaker 1>over as someone who has risen up the card faster
<v Speaker 1>than anybody that he has seen in years. And he
<v Speaker 1>knows Oba is a violent man, so he's going to
<v Speaker 1>stay put right where he is. He's not going to
<v Speaker 1>move from this spot. But that's what he likes about Oba.
<v Speaker 1>Oba is the most violent person to come to WWE
<v Speaker 1>since brock Lesner. Says that Oba is the fastest rising
<v Speaker 1>star in WWE since brock Lesner. He's the he's the
<v Speaker 1>what do you call him? The most impressive fighter and
<v Speaker 1>combat athletes and you get the gist of this. But
<v Speaker 1>it all comes crashing down this Sunday when he falls
<v Speaker 1>to brock Lesner and Hayman was constantly being interrupted here
<v Speaker 1>by chance of Oba fans, the one constant here every
<v Speaker 1>single week that we have seen in this the fans
<v Speaker 1>wherever they go, whatever city they're in, Houston, Sacramento, Tonight,
<v Speaker 1>Madison Square Garden, wherever it may be, fans are into
<v Speaker 1>Oba Femi. They chant his name, they bark right, they
<v Speaker 1>do the strut when he comes out, and it's good
<v Speaker 1>to see it's consistent across the board. What they have
<v Speaker 1>done with him so far has worked. It's been very effective.
<v Speaker 1>He's gotten over in a very short period of time,
<v Speaker 1>and not just gotten over like Dan Housen is over.
<v Speaker 2>He's gotten over.
<v Speaker 1>Is someone who the fans I think look at and say, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this could be a top guy. You know, he is
<v Speaker 1>not out of place at all going into his first
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania in a match of brock Lessnar. That's a big
<v Speaker 1>spot to be in. But the fans, I mean, they
<v Speaker 1>took to him like a duck to water. It doesn't
<v Speaker 1>matter where they are across the board. The reactions have
<v Speaker 1>all been the same. Sa Haman said, there's no shame
<v Speaker 1>in it. And when you get conquered by brock Lesnar
<v Speaker 1>or WrestleMania in the real main event, he says, and
<v Speaker 1>again I don't think he's wrong when he says that.
<v Speaker 1>But when he gets conquered or WrestleMania, he gives him
<v Speaker 1>his word. You need to rebuild your career after WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>My door will always be open, he says to Oba Femei.
<v Speaker 1>So then it was Oba's chance to speak. This is
<v Speaker 1>a big spot for Obafemi because we have not really
<v Speaker 1>seen him in the ring with a live mic in
<v Speaker 1>his hand, have a chance to speak like this I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he's cut promos an XT, but he said it's taking
<v Speaker 1>everything in him not to come down there and beat
<v Speaker 1>Hayman from pillar to post. Physical pain and scars will heal.
<v Speaker 1>And as he's talking, the fans are chanting beat his ass,
<v Speaker 1>beat his ass, and Oba says, hold up, If I
<v Speaker 1>beat his ass, the physical scars will heal. But when
<v Speaker 1>he beats Broc, Hayman's emotional pain will last forever. And
<v Speaker 1>the only door that Obin needs opened is the door
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleMania. They said, you know Brock, he issued this
<v Speaker 1>open challenge. Brock has twenty five years, like Brock and
<v Speaker 1>Hayman have been a pair I mean off and on,
<v Speaker 1>but they've been a pairing for twenty five years. They've
<v Speaker 1>known each other, and it's been twenty five years of
<v Speaker 1>saying that this guy can't be beat, this guy can't
<v Speaker 1>be beat. Oba has four weeks of saying that Brock
<v Speaker 1>lesnier can he can feel it. Hayman can feel it.
<v Speaker 1>All these people can feel it, and the crowd's rising
<v Speaker 1>right along with him. It's time to put an end
<v Speaker 1>to the beast. Hayman's been a good mouthpiece, but never
<v Speaker 1>an honest one. If Paul was honest, he would have
<v Speaker 1>said that his client is scared of Oba Femi. Oba
<v Speaker 1>is the mountain that Brock can't conquer. He will slay
<v Speaker 1>the beast because he is the one and always has
<v Speaker 1>been the one. Everybody knew it, and at WrestleMania, Hayman
<v Speaker 1>will know it too, and the fans bit on everything
<v Speaker 1>that this man had to say. They were with him
<v Speaker 1>every step of the way. Levec came over because he
<v Speaker 1>was just sort of chilling in the corner watching this
<v Speaker 1>and listening to this, and I'm sure processing like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>how's this guy doing?
<v Speaker 2>And he did fine.
<v Speaker 1>Now again, you know, they give him this this verbiage
<v Speaker 1>that you could tell was written for him, and he's
<v Speaker 1>got to memorize this shit. It's it can be very
<v Speaker 1>easy sometimes when you really pay attention to listen to
<v Speaker 1>what they're saying. You could tell like when they're handed
<v Speaker 1>something to read and when they're maybe speaking from the
<v Speaker 1>heart or they're speaking off the cuff. And he's new
<v Speaker 1>I'm not expecting him to go out there and be like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, get a couple of bullet points and there
<v Speaker 1>you go. You know, like you're on your own. So
<v Speaker 1>again that's a minor critique. I wish it would have
<v Speaker 1>felt a little more like OBA and not like some
<v Speaker 1>WWE scripted promo. But he delivered it well, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>he has this delivery with that you know, deep booming voice,
<v Speaker 1>especially when he starts to get really hyped up, where
<v Speaker 1>you sit up and you pay attention, you know, to
<v Speaker 1>what the man says. So I thought this was very good.
<v Speaker 1>And everything they've done so far has worked. And I
<v Speaker 1>said this in my predictions yesterday. It is really only
<v Speaker 1>one thing they could do, I think, to kind of
<v Speaker 1>screw it all up, which would be to beat him.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not saying that him losing is a career
<v Speaker 1>killer or anything like that, but I really think, if
<v Speaker 1>you want to go all the way, you've gotten this far.
<v Speaker 1>You have not made a single misstep in this so far.
<v Speaker 1>And you have this guy as the babyface going out
<v Speaker 1>there and telling people I'm the one, like I'm not
<v Speaker 1>like anybody else, I'm the guy. Twenty five years of
<v Speaker 1>claiming that this guy can't be beaten, this guy's the
<v Speaker 1>conqueror and this and that, Well, I'm here now and
<v Speaker 1>I'm the man who's going to slay the beast and
<v Speaker 1>knock him off the top of that mountain, and for
<v Speaker 1>him to go out there on Sunday and not do that,
<v Speaker 1>you know he's going to take a body blow if
<v Speaker 1>that happens, and I just think it's unnecessary, doesn't have
<v Speaker 1>to happen. This is the first real match he's had
<v Speaker 1>on the main roster. I mean, I forget russ Ev
<v Speaker 1>and fucking Kit Wilson for all intents and purposes. This
<v Speaker 1>right here is his debut. This right here is the
<v Speaker 1>biggest match that he has had in his career since
<v Speaker 1>the Saturday Night's Mad Event match with Cody Rhodes. And
<v Speaker 1>this is bigger even though Cody was the champion. This
<v Speaker 1>is bigger. This is not about titles, like the stage
<v Speaker 1>that he's going to be on on ESPN opening the
<v Speaker 1>show on Sunday in front of forty fifty thousand people.
<v Speaker 1>For him, it doesn't get any bigger than that. But
<v Speaker 1>I still believe that wins and losses they do matter.
<v Speaker 1>Some people say they don't matter. I in them is
<v Speaker 1>both agree that they do. And you're trying to establish
<v Speaker 1>this guy. You know, you it's like a six step process,
<v Speaker 1>and you've accomplished the first five steps, but the last
<v Speaker 1>step is the most important one. Now he's got to
<v Speaker 1>back up all this talk that we heard tonight, and
<v Speaker 1>I just feel like, if he can't do it, and
<v Speaker 1>then let's say that the plan is to do you know,
<v Speaker 1>Brock and Gunther, let's just say it's summerslim and they
<v Speaker 1>move on from this. I just think that would be
<v Speaker 1>a huge mistake, and I really hope they don't make
<v Speaker 1>that mistake. We had Javon Evans and Dragon Le tag
<v Speaker 1>team partners tonight against Rusev and JD McDonough. This is
<v Speaker 1>four of the six men in the ladder match for
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental Championship on Sunday. We only got to see
<v Speaker 1>about five minutes of the actual match minus the commercials.
<v Speaker 1>What we got here, though, I thought was solid. Evans
<v Speaker 1>took Russev out with the red Dot, then he dove
<v Speaker 1>out onto him on the floor. Dragon Lee hit a
<v Speaker 1>styles clash on JD McDonagh to win the match. When
<v Speaker 1>it was over, Russev didn't take the loss very well.
<v Speaker 1>He got in the ring, he attacked Evans and Lee
<v Speaker 1>from behind. He went to go put Dragonly in the accolade,
<v Speaker 1>but here comes Raymistereo Gingerly running down to the ring
<v Speaker 1>and I'm looking at this and he starts going out
<v Speaker 1>it with Rusev, and I'm like, what the fuck.
<v Speaker 2>Are you doing?
<v Speaker 1>Like You're days away from WrestleMania, this is the final raw.
<v Speaker 1>Why are you having Raymysterio do anything physical on this show?
<v Speaker 2>Why?
<v Speaker 1>Why would you do that? Why would you tempt fate
<v Speaker 1>and take that risk of all the people to get
<v Speaker 1>physical on this show? Why do you Why does Ray
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio have to go in there and do anything? But
<v Speaker 1>he runs in there, he sets him up for a
<v Speaker 1>six one nine. Russev, though close lines him down. Out
<v Speaker 1>comes Penta, who runs into a Machka kick. Evans tried
<v Speaker 1>for an og cutter, but Russev caught him on the
<v Speaker 1>way down and turned it into a yuranagi. Then it
<v Speaker 1>was a Machka kick for everybody, and Dragon Lee got
<v Speaker 1>put in the accolade and Russev was the last man
<v Speaker 1>standing at the end of all of this.
<v Speaker 2>Not that he was winning on Sunday anyway, he wasn't, but.
<v Speaker 1>It's pretty clear who's not winning the ladder match on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>I think we can cross cross Russev day off the list.
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pierce was backstage. He was on the phone with someone.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if he was on the phone with
<v Speaker 1>his gumah or I have no idea. But dan Hausen interrupted,
<v Speaker 1>and Dan Housen seemed to think that he was on
<v Speaker 1>the phone with John Cena, so he was pestering him.
<v Speaker 1>He said, Dan Housen, is he's in demand? Housen ain't
<v Speaker 1>thought John Cena was on the phone. He demanded to
<v Speaker 1>speak with him. Pierce told him, look, you can see
<v Speaker 1>him at WrestleMania. He sure that Sena would love to
<v Speaker 1>meet Dan Housen. Now, what did I just say on
<v Speaker 1>the sound of Yesterday? I said, watch, We'll get a
<v Speaker 1>segment between John Sena and Dan Housen on Sunday.
<v Speaker 2>So it seems pretty.
<v Speaker 1>Clear that that's probably what they're going to fill in
<v Speaker 1>that extra time on Sunday with is probably some comedy
<v Speaker 1>with John Cena and Dan Housen on the show.
<v Speaker 2>Why are we.
<v Speaker 1>Questioning Raymistereo's health because the man is fifty fucking years old,
<v Speaker 1>That's why. And he gets hurt all the time, and
<v Speaker 1>literally just came back from another injury. So, as I said,
<v Speaker 1>don't tempt fate, you're already doing that anyway. You're putting
<v Speaker 1>him in his first match back at a six way
<v Speaker 1>ladder match on Sunday. Like, just just let the brother
<v Speaker 1>get to WrestleMania so he can get his WrestleMania match.
<v Speaker 1>He got hurt right before the Friday before WrestleMania last
<v Speaker 1>year and didn't even get to make the card. So
<v Speaker 1>can we just leave him alone and let him get
<v Speaker 1>to Vegas so he can actually have a match this year.
<v Speaker 1>Lucky Dog says, I want Ray to get one more
<v Speaker 1>WWE title run. Yeah, that's not gonna happen. That's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna happen, and it should not happen.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry. Roman reigns.
<v Speaker 1>He was out to the ring ahead of one last
<v Speaker 1>commercial break for the final hard sell for his WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>main event match with CM Punk, and he wanted the
<v Speaker 1>fans to acknowledge him, but he was interrupted by CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk's music and the World Heavyweight Champion slow walked his
<v Speaker 1>way down the steps through the crowd, got to ringside,
<v Speaker 1>and then stood up on top of the announced desk. So,
<v Speaker 1>after watching the cold open put together by who he
<v Speaker 1>assumes was Roman, he's out here, he says, to tell
<v Speaker 1>the truth. So as he tells his truth, he tells Roman,
<v Speaker 1>tell me when I'm telling lies. He climbed down and
<v Speaker 1>he got into the well. He was going to get
<v Speaker 1>into the ring, and Roman told him, he said, if
<v Speaker 1>you get in here, we're not going to need these mics.
<v Speaker 1>So Punk stayed out on the apron. He really did
<v Speaker 1>like he came across as Roman's bitch honestly in this segment.
<v Speaker 1>So he stayed on the apron. Though he said he
<v Speaker 1>hates Roman. He hates him because he envies him. This
<v Speaker 1>is all he ever wanted, the only dream he ever
<v Speaker 1>had since he was a little kid, and the fans
<v Speaker 1>started to give him the the what treatment. And he's
<v Speaker 1>very good at, you know, speaking in like a different
<v Speaker 1>cadence to try to shut that down. He doesn't because
<v Speaker 1>some guys will just stop and then they'll keep speaking
<v Speaker 1>in this cadence where they allow the What Chance to
<v Speaker 1>just kind of infect their promo. And it always drives
<v Speaker 1>me nuts because you could tell some of them genuinely
<v Speaker 1>are not like they don't want the what Chance, but
<v Speaker 1>it's almost like they're just trained a certain way to
<v Speaker 1>cut promos, the same way where they speak and jay
<v Speaker 1>Uso does this where you know they'll speak in like syllables,
<v Speaker 1>which I don't really understand that. So we had some
<v Speaker 1>what chance and they died out pretty quick. But he
<v Speaker 1>envies the fact that it was all handed to Roman,
<v Speaker 1>and he hates that he was the champion Roman was
<v Speaker 1>for one three hundred and sixteen days because after some
<v Speaker 1>self reflection, he hates that he knows how hard Roman
<v Speaker 1>worked his ass off to be that great. He hates
<v Speaker 1>the amount of times that he has main event in WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>I believe this will be Romans eleventh or twelve. I
<v Speaker 1>think eleventh WrestleMania main events. That's how That's how you
<v Speaker 1>could tell that someone has had a lot of WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>main events based on the fact that I can't remember
<v Speaker 1>how many he's had. Uh SENDPI. Let me ask you
<v Speaker 1>a question, brother. You say cm punk gets injured injury
<v Speaker 1>all the time, and he younger than Raymisterio. When was
<v Speaker 1>the last time cmpunk was injured two years ago? When
<v Speaker 1>in the last two years has cmpunk been injured? I
<v Speaker 1>would love to know. Tell me when don't make don't
<v Speaker 1>make me do it. I don't want to embarrass you,
<v Speaker 1>So this is a good time to put a lid
<v Speaker 1>on it. So anyway. He says he hates how many
<v Speaker 1>times Roman has main event in WrestleMania. He hates that
<v Speaker 1>he feels this way. And then he brought up Sicca
<v Speaker 1>and he said Sicca, of course Roman's father. He invokes
<v Speaker 1>Seka's name. Many weeks ago he said Sicca was a
<v Speaker 1>great man, a great wrestler. Seka's a Hall of Famer,
<v Speaker 1>and he loves and respects the old timers, and he
<v Speaker 1>hates the fact that he invoked Roman's father's name in
<v Speaker 1>vain and he sincerely apologizes to him. So there it is,
<v Speaker 1>we got the apology. This is old Jay whoso wanted
<v Speaker 1>all those weeks ago. He just he just wanted an apology.
<v Speaker 1>So Punk finally got into the ring and he got
<v Speaker 1>up in Roman's face. He hates that there's more than
<v Speaker 1>one royal family in pro wrestling, and he hates that
<v Speaker 1>he envies the fact that he wasn't born into a dynasty.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't know what having that kind of family is like.
<v Speaker 1>He was born in the back alleys of Chicago. He
<v Speaker 1>was a misfit who had to find his own family,
<v Speaker 1>and he found his family in the streets of Sacramento
<v Speaker 1>and every VFW hall and Knights of Columbus, abandoned churches.
<v Speaker 1>He found his people on the Indies, and he conquered
<v Speaker 1>the Indies, and then he went to Japan, and he
<v Speaker 1>went to England, and he went to Puerto Rico, all
<v Speaker 1>around the world. He wasn't born on third base with
<v Speaker 1>a silver spoon. He busted his ass and he made
<v Speaker 1>pro wrestling home and made them his family. And he
<v Speaker 1>hates that he has to share any of it with
<v Speaker 1>Roman let alone. His first singles match headlining WrestleMania tell
<v Speaker 1>me what I'm telling lies on April nineteenth, Like tonight,
<v Speaker 1>he's got gold on his shoes and gold around his waist,
<v Speaker 1>and late Sunday night he's going to have gold above
<v Speaker 1>his head and the ring announcer is going to be
<v Speaker 1>saying and still the end of the world with Las
<v Speaker 1>Vegas chanting CM Punk, tell me when I'm telling lies.
<v Speaker 1>So then Roman spoke up and he said, that's probably
<v Speaker 1>the truest stuff he's ever heard Punk say up until
<v Speaker 1>the end goes. Let me tell you something, let me
<v Speaker 1>tell you something true. I hate you too. I've hated
<v Speaker 1>you for a long time, but the main reason is
<v Speaker 1>because of your relationship with the fans. I hope one
<v Speaker 1>day when I leave, they miss me as much as
<v Speaker 1>they missed you, and they chant for me for ten
<v Speaker 1>years straight. That's the truest thing that Punk has. It's
<v Speaker 1>his connection with the fan base. But on Sunday, his
<v Speaker 1>time is up. He gave Punk two months after he
<v Speaker 1>won the Rumble, he gave him two months to hold
<v Speaker 1>this relevancy, and he did nothing with it. On Sunday
<v Speaker 1>it's not and still it will be, and new this
<v Speaker 1>little nostalgia act is done. On Sunday, we fix this mess.
<v Speaker 1>We we fix this mess that you started. We make
<v Speaker 1>this place where we had it at the very top.
<v Speaker 1>On Sunday, the tribal chief takes back over and Punk,
<v Speaker 1>along with the whole world, will acknowledge him. And they
<v Speaker 1>went right off the air. So when it was over,
<v Speaker 1>it felt very underwhelming. You know, they're talking about how
<v Speaker 1>I hate you and I hate you, and this is
<v Speaker 1>all the same stuff we heard them say at the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of February. All right, we heard Roman say this
<v Speaker 1>in that very first promo, I hate you, Right, he
<v Speaker 1>went through some of the reasons.
<v Speaker 2>Why he hated him.
<v Speaker 1>So it felt to me like they were rehashing a
<v Speaker 1>lot of stuff here in this promo, and the intensity
<v Speaker 1>that we had from CM Punk last week when Roman
<v Speaker 1>wasn't there was completely.
<v Speaker 2>Absent this week.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he was calm, he was There were moments
<v Speaker 1>in this promo where he would stop speaking and then
<v Speaker 1>eight to ten seconds would go by. It was almost
<v Speaker 1>like that he lose his train of thought, like what's
<v Speaker 1>going on here? And then you know, he would go
<v Speaker 1>into the next thing that he was saying. But again
<v Speaker 1>he's just talking about his background and you know, I
<v Speaker 1>conquered the indies and this is I always wanted to
<v Speaker 1>do this. This always meant so much to me. I
<v Speaker 1>mean it was fine. I mean it wasn't like a
<v Speaker 1>terrible promo or anything like that, but you know, there
<v Speaker 1>really was nothing terribly engaging about it. There was really
<v Speaker 1>nothing terribly special. This was the go home promo. This
<v Speaker 1>was the last time that these two men are going
<v Speaker 1>to be face to face in the middle of the
<v Speaker 1>ring before they go to the main event of WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>and considering some of the personal insults and some of
<v Speaker 1>the shots they've taken at each other, to have ce
<v Speaker 1>him Punk go out there and apologize to this man
<v Speaker 1>now that he's here in person, right. Last week it
<v Speaker 1>was okay to rip him the shreds when he wasn't there.
<v Speaker 1>But then this week Roman is back and it was
<v Speaker 1>almost again. It was almost like, okay, now you're apologizing
<v Speaker 1>to him and you're giving him his props and you're
<v Speaker 1>saying that you know, I hate the fact that you
<v Speaker 1>did this, and ipec that like.
<v Speaker 2>It.
<v Speaker 1>It was two very different versions of CM punk, And
<v Speaker 1>I feel like that version of punk that we saw
<v Speaker 1>last week, you know, that was the version that would really,
<v Speaker 1>like in a go home promo, could really sell things,
<v Speaker 1>especially if you had face to face right and you
<v Speaker 1>could have like the no physicality stipulation, so we don't
<v Speaker 1>have another Pollop Bart brawl. But they really, you know,
<v Speaker 1>they get up in each other's face and they're just
<v Speaker 1>you know, one last chance to really give it to
<v Speaker 1>the other guy and be like, man, I fucking hate
<v Speaker 1>your guts, you know, and let them talk their shit.
<v Speaker 1>And this was I said at the beginning. It was
<v Speaker 1>almost more like a like a therapy session for punk
<v Speaker 1>in a lot of ways.
<v Speaker 2>So just the very a weird way to close out.
<v Speaker 1>I think what we have seen from these two over
<v Speaker 1>the last got what has it been?
<v Speaker 2>What has it been ten weeks.
<v Speaker 1>So what I mean, man, this road to wrestle Mania,
<v Speaker 1>it just seems to get longer and longer. It's too long,
<v Speaker 1>and nothing is nothing is gonna top that first segment
<v Speaker 1>between them, But I'm still looking forward to the match itself.
<v Speaker 1>I do wonder again about this whole we Maybe I'm
<v Speaker 1>reading too much into it, but just something to keep
<v Speaker 1>in mind. I guess as we head into WrestleMania this weekend.
<v Speaker 2>If you want.
<v Speaker 1>The full rundown, the full preview, WrestleMania predictions and all that,
<v Speaker 1>we'll be talking about that on the Young Crown Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Show tomorrow. But you know, when I look at this
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania card now that we're finally here, and again, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to be here on Wednesday. There's no Dynamite review,
<v Speaker 1>there's no SmackDown review.
<v Speaker 2>On Friday.
<v Speaker 1>I'll first be coming home from Vegas from the House
<v Speaker 1>of Glory show that day, so I'll have to catch
<v Speaker 1>up with SmackDown later on. But this WrestleMania card, like
<v Speaker 1>on paper, there our matches on this car, whether it's
<v Speaker 1>Brock and Oba, Rollin's and Gunther Live in Stephanie, you know,
<v Speaker 1>on the women's side and even the main events. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if you look at the main events themselves, Cody and Randy,
<v Speaker 1>Roman and Punk, if they're allowed to go out there
<v Speaker 1>and do their thing, I mean, they could go out
<v Speaker 1>there and have a couple of excellent matches, the Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Randy thing. You know, it just feels to me
<v Speaker 1>like it's gonna end up being this whole overbooked thing.
<v Speaker 1>You know, WrestleMania forty was overbooked, but it was overbooked
<v Speaker 1>in the best possible way because that story had been
<v Speaker 1>building for so long and you could see where it
<v Speaker 1>was going, and the way they pulled that off was
<v Speaker 1>just it was fantastic. My fear is that this will
<v Speaker 1>end up being an overbooked mess in a very different
<v Speaker 1>way on Saturday night and then Sunday night. I just
<v Speaker 1>find it very hard to believe that we're going to
<v Speaker 1>get Roman and Punk and there's not going to be
<v Speaker 1>someone sticking their nose into their business, whether it is
<v Speaker 1>Pat McAfee or whether it's the USSOS, or whether it's
<v Speaker 1>someone we're not thinking of, that something isn't going to
<v Speaker 1>go down. I'm not expecting it to be quite as
<v Speaker 1>probably an overbook messes as Saturday will be, but there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of really quality matches on paper that could
<v Speaker 1>end up stealing the weekend, you know, Rollin's and Gunther
<v Speaker 1>to me, I think that that right there could be
<v Speaker 1>the show stealer for the weekend. So those matches I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking forward to. But my overall, you know, I would
<v Speaker 1>say my overall level of hype going into this WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>I can't say it's an all time low, but it's
<v Speaker 1>pretty fucking low. You know, this has not been This
<v Speaker 1>has not been a great wrestle media build. This has
<v Speaker 1>not been a super exciting Oh my god, I can't
<v Speaker 1>wait until we get to Las Vegas this weekend. You know,
<v Speaker 1>wrestle media build things feel like it's been cobbled together
<v Speaker 1>in some cases. And I know some of their original
<v Speaker 1>plans fell through due to injuries and it kind of
<v Speaker 1>ravaged the card there a little bit or not. For
<v Speaker 1>those injuries, this card that we're looking at this weekend
<v Speaker 1>would look very different. And this is going back to Rollins,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when he got hurt last year. What would
<v Speaker 1>the WrestleMania card look like at the top of the
<v Speaker 1>card right now if they didn't have you know, those
<v Speaker 1>things happened when they did. I don't know one of
<v Speaker 1>those one if questions. I guess we'll never know the
<v Speaker 1>answer to. Let's take a look at the Twitter poll,
<v Speaker 1>what did you think of the final Raw before wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Mania is sixty two percent thumbs up and about thirty
<v Speaker 1>eight percent thumbs down, so an overall positive score here
<v Speaker 1>for this go home show, and then next Monday we
<v Speaker 1>have the Raw after many I feel like the Raw
<v Speaker 1>after Mania has not really been a thing for many years.
<v Speaker 1>It's certainly not what he used to be. It'd be
<v Speaker 1>nice if he could go back to that. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that I would necessarily expect too much from the
<v Speaker 1>Raw after WrestleMania. It would be nice to get maybe
<v Speaker 1>a new face debuting, so we have that coming up
<v Speaker 1>next week. I will be here for that. I just
<v Speaker 1>won't be here for SmackDown this Friday. You could tell devastated. Devastated.
<v Speaker 1>I tell you that I will now be here for
<v Speaker 1>the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this weekend. I
<v Speaker 1>am looking forward to the Hall of Fame. Though this
<v Speaker 1>week's episode is sponsored by WIS. I admit I'm a
<v Speaker 1>control freak. I like things done a certain way. And
<v Speaker 1>I like to do it myself if I can, and

<v Speaker 1>slash harmony. Let's go through some of your messages here,
<v Speaker 1>and then we got at least the one round of
<v Speaker 1>be the booker to do because we are at six
<v Speaker 1>hundred and thirty likes, so we are going to be
<v Speaker 1>doing that. You guys really wanted to be the booker tonight.
<v Speaker 2>I could tell death sith when Randy wins.
<v Speaker 1>I can see Pat holding the WWE title throughout his
<v Speaker 1>reign and Randy doesn't hold it once, just like when
<v Speaker 1>Lucasaurus was TNT champion. Well, that would be fucking terrible, now,
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't it? That would be awful? Also, it says better yet,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be surprised if Randy gives his WrestleMania title
<v Speaker 1>shot to Pat Apathy, like when he originally turned down
<v Speaker 1>his shot at Bray Wyatt or WrestleMania at thirty three,
<v Speaker 1>Pat Apathy, I like that, z omg Ruler. Did you
<v Speaker 1>see liv Morgan's music video? It was yeah, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>saw it. My expectation is that that may be her
<v Speaker 1>new music, Like she may come out to that at WrestleMania. Otherwise,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, why drop that this week right before Mania
<v Speaker 1>if she's not gonna come out to that music at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>From NJ two thousand says, why does Triple H need
<v Speaker 1>to be involved in the Oba and Brock segments? Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it makes it feel like a bigger deal
<v Speaker 1>because he's out there. He's not typically out there for
<v Speaker 1>the contract signing segments, so his presence out there, in effect,
<v Speaker 1>is supposed to make it feel more special, right because
<v Speaker 1>everybody knows he's the head guy Roca Thrilla.
<v Speaker 2>When was the.
<v Speaker 1>Last time Julia competed on a plee? I mean, outside
<v Speaker 1>of her being in like a Royal Rumble match. I
<v Speaker 1>have imagine the Royal Rumble outside of the rumble. The
<v Speaker 1>answer is never, never powerful one with the nine ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>I am okay with Oba losing if Brock cheats, Hayman
<v Speaker 1>distracts the referee, Brock hits a nutshot like Undertaker did
<v Speaker 1>to him, and Oba still looks strong because Brock Lesnar
<v Speaker 1>of all people.
<v Speaker 2>Had to cheat to beat him.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, I can't say I'm terribly excited about
<v Speaker 1>a nutshot finish, especially after we had that in the
<v Speaker 1>main event last year, so I'm going to say no
<v Speaker 1>on that. But if you are going to beat Oba,
<v Speaker 1>then I would prefer that he takes some sort of
<v Speaker 1>shortcut and doesn't just beat him straight up. I agree
<v Speaker 1>with that, but the finish that you described, I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to see that. That sounds like an awful finish. Dude,
<v Speaker 1>here seventy three hell of a promo by Oba. At
<v Speaker 1>least one build is hitting on all cylinders. My wife
<v Speaker 1>and I are heading to Vegas tomorrow, but before Wrestlemindia
<v Speaker 1>comes the ho G Show, First Hog Show and looking
<v Speaker 1>forward to it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, you picked a great one.
<v Speaker 1>Then we got a stacked lineup for that one. If
<v Speaker 1>you look at the card that we're putting together for
<v Speaker 1>Thursday night at the Palms the Pearl Theater at the
<v Speaker 1>Palms Casino Resort, first time ever amazing read against Bandido.
<v Speaker 1>We got Brody King and Zillapot too. We got Michael
<v Speaker 1>Oku and Charles Mason. We got Shatzi and Charlie Dakota
<v Speaker 1>Kai making her debut. The Hardys are going to be
<v Speaker 1>defending their tag team titles on that show as well.
<v Speaker 1>We got some good shit. Phil says, what in the
<v Speaker 1>hell was that between Roman and Punk? And why is
<v Speaker 1>Punk apologizing? I think because he's afraid of Roman. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>oh shit, he's back. I gotta be nice to him now.
<v Speaker 1>I may have gone too far with what I said
<v Speaker 1>be Man the chant, you may want to reconsider your
<v Speaker 1>six man tag prediction for Mania. Other than Battle Royals,
<v Speaker 1>celebrities have never lost in a match of WrestleMania, except
<v Speaker 1>when Pat lost to Vince immediately after beating Theory. Well,
<v Speaker 1>there's the first time for everything. That would be my
<v Speaker 1>answer to you. There's a first time for everything. Just
<v Speaker 1>because things have always been done a certain way doesn't
<v Speaker 1>mean they always have to be done that way. Death
<v Speaker 1>Site says buy or sell on who you would like
<v Speaker 1>to see Dan Housen do a comedy segment with the
<v Speaker 1>most the Rock as Rockhausen or brock Lesner as Brockhausen
<v Speaker 1>brock Lesner and then Brock pounds him into the ground.
<v Speaker 1>San Juan Wolf, that Oba Femi segment has completely sold
<v Speaker 1>me on the idea of him being the next base
<v Speaker 1>of WWE. When Cody and Roman hang up their boots,
<v Speaker 1>he just oozes top guy Aura. Yeah, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>we need to be waiting until Cody and Roman hang
<v Speaker 1>up their boots.
<v Speaker 2>I think.
<v Speaker 1>Otherwise you're gonna be waiting a while. That would be
<v Speaker 1>a bad thing. You don't wait until they hang up
<v Speaker 1>their boots. You want them still to be active so
<v Speaker 1>that they can put Oba over when the time is right.
<v Speaker 1>Walker Stubbs didn't really get to watch Raw because of
<v Speaker 1>lots of tornado watches and warnings around me. Did I
<v Speaker 1>miss anything? Well, stay safe, brother, that sounds very scary.
<v Speaker 1>I mean there were a few good things on the show.
<v Speaker 1>You didn't miss anything terribly important. Good promo from Oba
<v Speaker 1>in a wild live Morgan appeared.
<v Speaker 2>Aaron.
<v Speaker 1>That last segment felt more like building to them as
<v Speaker 1>unwilling tag team partners rather than a wrestle many a
<v Speaker 1>main event. This few'd cooled off more with each week. Yeah, again,
<v Speaker 1>they could just never match that first segment.
<v Speaker 2>It was really just all downhill from there.
<v Speaker 1>They were never able to really recapture that magic of
<v Speaker 1>that first segment. Death Site says, what do you call
<v Speaker 1>a baptized shit?
<v Speaker 2>A holy shit?
<v Speaker 1>Nick Grosso with a nine ninety nine EO sky, Carmelo Hayes,
<v Speaker 1>and Tiffany Stratton are off WrestleMania who did they piss off?
<v Speaker 1>They made EO look silly tonight and said, Oscar is right.
<v Speaker 1>She is just Rhea's sidekick. See, Oscar should have stole
<v Speaker 1>Punk's line. And as soon as she said that, she
<v Speaker 1>should have said, tell me what I'm telling lies and
<v Speaker 1>nobody could refute what she said, because that's exactly the
<v Speaker 1>role that Eosky has been reduced to.
<v Speaker 2>Christian Braden.
<v Speaker 1>Can ww E treat Alberto del Rio like Hogan in
<v Speaker 1>twenty fifteen? Dude is a lost cause at this point,
<v Speaker 1>I think they already do. They don't acknowledge him, they
<v Speaker 1>don't mention him, they don't show highlights of him. He's
<v Speaker 1>basically persona non grata in that company. As far as
<v Speaker 1>any sort of television mentions go. You could say it.
<v Speaker 1>You could say Alberta Dell dipshit. Okay, Saint James.
<v Speaker 2>With a five.
<v Speaker 1>This was my spouse's first time seeing the Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 1>Quite McDonough, well, mcdonna is part of the Judgment Day.
<v Speaker 1>Quite literally bullied him on his head to shoulders embody
<v Speaker 1>ratio the entire ten to fifteen minutes, including commercial. It's
<v Speaker 1>like a bobblehead. It's like a big Funk Coopop, Dona Yasu,
<v Speaker 1>longtime Solo. It's hard to believe this triple h is
<v Speaker 1>the same that gave us Black and Gold NXT. It's
<v Speaker 1>Mania week and I have zero hype. I feel you, brother.
<v Speaker 1>I wish I could be more excited for the show.
<v Speaker 1>I've got some matches I'm looking forward to, but it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't feel like a big wrestle Mania weekend.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>Alexander says the Celebrity Stable can be the main event Mafia.
<v Speaker 1>So who are we gonna have. We're gonna have McAfee,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have jelly Roll. When Jelly Roll turns on Cody,
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna have I show Speed after he pins La Night.
<v Speaker 2>Lil YACHTI.
<v Speaker 1>And then the big reveal at the end of wrestle
<v Speaker 1>Tom Brady He's gonna come out dressed as a ninja
<v Speaker 1>in all black, the Mask Man. He's gonna pull the
<v Speaker 1>mask off. It's gonna be Tom Brady El Masse with
<v Speaker 1>that forty dollars Sicko drop Undertaker got me more excited
<v Speaker 1>for the Americanos Mask versus Mask match than I am
<v Speaker 1>for Randy and Cody. Yeah, it's true. How sad is
<v Speaker 1>that de'sid. I hope at the end of this Pat
<v Speaker 1>may be pulling Randy strings like he's Lionel stark Weather.
<v Speaker 1>But Randy is James Earl Cash in this scenario, and
<v Speaker 1>we all know what happened in the end. There's a
<v Speaker 1>Manhunt reference. I have no idea what you're talking about.
<v Speaker 1>I wish, I wish I got the reference, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure it's a really good analogy.
<v Speaker 2>If I just knew who these people were.
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony was watching Brett's heel term promo from the
<v Speaker 1>Raw after Mania thirteen and wanted to ask, if you
<v Speaker 1>think we will ever see another double turn as good
<v Speaker 1>as that? You know, it was just so well done.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so. I don't think we will. Doesn't
<v Speaker 1>mean we can't have some good ones. I just don't
<v Speaker 1>think we're gonna get one as good as that one. No,
<v Speaker 1>we got, Mike, my favorite media opener of all time
<v Speaker 1>is probably Eddie against Ray WrestleMania twenty one, or Bianca
<v Speaker 1>versus Eo versus Rhea at WrestleMania forty one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Well, of course I forgot to add that one before
<v Speaker 1>when I was talking about the great WrestleMania openers. Take
<v Speaker 1>a list of those. You know, Brett against Owen. This
<v Speaker 1>is not ranked, but Brett Agan's Owen. Uh I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>Triple h and Daniel Bryan the triple threat for the
<v Speaker 1>IC title of WrestleMania thirty four EA Ea EO Rea.
<v Speaker 1>That should have been their tag team name stead of Ariho.
<v Speaker 1>It should have been EA uh EO Ria and Bianca
<v Speaker 1>from last year. You know Eddie and Ray. I haven't
<v Speaker 1>seen that match in a very long time. I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember thinking. I mean, it's not like they're Halloween Havoc
<v Speaker 1>match or anything. I mean that WrestleMania twenty one match
<v Speaker 1>was nowhere near the best match they ever had together.
<v Speaker 2>Mactub.
<v Speaker 1>In my opinion, Rock and Hogan are the two biggest
<v Speaker 1>and most transcendental stars in WWE history, And do you agree. Probably.
<v Speaker 1>I guess Sena is kind of creeping up into that
<v Speaker 1>category as well. You know, given all the things he's
<v Speaker 1>involved in terms of movies and hosting and every fucking
<v Speaker 1>Honda commercial. I hear his voice, I could be in
<v Speaker 1>the other room. I'm like, uh, I hear Sina must
<v Speaker 1>be a car commercial. He's permeating pop culture by the week.
<v Speaker 2>But as far as which one is better rock.
<v Speaker 1>Rock is just overall a much more versatile performer than
<v Speaker 1>Hogan was. Triple h deserves a lot more criticism, not
<v Speaker 1>just TKO. I think he gets. I think he gets
<v Speaker 1>a lot of criticism. I don't know where you're looking,
<v Speaker 1>certainly around these parts he does. Mike says, I show
<v Speaker 1>speed and McAfee spot on the WrestleMania car, but they
<v Speaker 1>cannot find room for EO Mello or dragon of.
<v Speaker 2>What a joke.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, but here you got to learn how to speak
<v Speaker 1>WWE language. Did you see the little did you know
<v Speaker 1>factoid that they advertised tonight that the announcers talked about.
<v Speaker 1>They talked about how many hundreds of millions of social
<v Speaker 1>media it was either views or impressions that the I
<v Speaker 1>show Speed I think hitting La Night clip, not from
<v Speaker 1>last week's Raw. That's why, because that's what they care about.
<v Speaker 1>And Ilia Dragonov and Carmelo Hayes. They're not getting four
<v Speaker 1>hundred million social media views for anything, you know. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they could jump off the Empire State Building. They're still
<v Speaker 1>not going to get four hundred and thirty million fucking
<v Speaker 1>social impressions. The new one Oba Feme reminds me of
<v Speaker 1>Mbaku from the Black Panther movies seems to be the
<v Speaker 1>inspiration for the character. Could be I know those movies
<v Speaker 1>are very popular. It's possible, Alexander says, do you think
<v Speaker 1>deaf Rebel directed and made that Live Morgan music video?
<v Speaker 1>Because it was Kaka? She may have ni she may
<v Speaker 1>give Nakita Lyons a run for her money for bad
<v Speaker 1>pop music. I'm sure deaf Rebel probably had something to
<v Speaker 1>do with it, although if they did, I've heard much
<v Speaker 1>worse from deaf Rebel. Holkley ninety three lived came across
<v Speaker 1>like Pooky from New Jack City when he was dragged
<v Speaker 1>into rehab.
<v Speaker 2>What is with all these old movie references?
<v Speaker 1>It seemed Newjack City and fucking I don't even know
<v Speaker 1>how long it's been long enough. I haven't seen New
<v Speaker 1>Jack City. I don't remember who Pooky even is. Hey showtime,
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Death Site says. Looking back at WrestleMania forty one,
<v Speaker 1>Punk seth Roman should have closed out Night two since
<v Speaker 1>it was far superior than Sena and Cody. Well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that and it had the big shocking swerve of Paul Hayman.
<v Speaker 1>But they were never going to close with anything other
<v Speaker 1>than John Cena winning number seventeen, even though it sucked.
<v Speaker 1>Mike going to bed now. Thanks for a great stream, solo, Monster,
<v Speaker 1>I hope you have a blast at WrestleMania. Hope you
<v Speaker 1>were close enough to smell well. Okay, So I'm I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to WrestleMania. I know this is it's weird.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to Vegas WrestleMania week, but I'm not actually
<v Speaker 1>going to WrestleMania. I don't want to have to sell
<v Speaker 1>one of my kidneys to purchase a ticket to go
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleMania. So I'm flying in on Wednesday. I got
<v Speaker 1>business to transact on Thursday. I'm coming home on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>I will be here. I will be in this chair
<v Speaker 1>reviewing WrestleMania when Night one is over and when Night
<v Speaker 1>two is over, right here on YouTube, just like I
<v Speaker 1>am right now, So you don't have to worry about that.
<v Speaker 1>And Tom Wheeler, Invisible Man is going against Sandman on Friday. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>that is going to be Sandman's supposed supposed retirement match.
<v Speaker 1>We know how that goes, but he is supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be retiring against the Invisible Man. Andre Jefferson with a
<v Speaker 1>ten spot. Hey, solo, I think they have something really
<v Speaker 1>special in Oba. I think they should strap the rocket
<v Speaker 1>on him. They really haven't taken a chance on a
<v Speaker 1>rookie since Brock in two thousand and two. Well, I mean.
<v Speaker 2>It took a.
<v Speaker 1>Chance on a rookie called Ronda Rousey in twenty eighteen.
<v Speaker 2>I think she got pushed pretty quickly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I agree. I mean you got to strap the
<v Speaker 1>rocket to him. I'm not saying you have to put
<v Speaker 1>the world title on him in the next three months,
<v Speaker 1>but you know, strapping the rocket could mean a lot
<v Speaker 1>of different things. But I do think you want to
<v Speaker 1>vault him up into that territory, you know, very quickly.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I don't want to see him middling around
<v Speaker 1>in the mid card against you know, guys that he
<v Speaker 1>shouldn't be working with, because by working with some of
<v Speaker 1>these guys, it automatically puts him in a certain position
<v Speaker 1>that he shouldn't be in, and he should be above that.
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony do the Sickos. The aw Sikos super chat
<v Speaker 1>sound is the best one I've heard. It made me
<v Speaker 1>laugh so hard. One of my favorites, that one in
<v Speaker 1>the thirty dollars mentos one can't forget our boy Gunhal
<v Speaker 1>of course, MVK Poor EO. My brother Hoping ninety three
<v Speaker 1>thinks the whole scene of EO feeling more like a sidekick,
<v Speaker 1>could twist EO to turn on I guess he means
<v Speaker 1>turn on Rhea at Mania.
<v Speaker 2>How do you feel? I mean you could, but she's
<v Speaker 2>such a great babyface. Why would you turn her?
<v Speaker 1>The fans love EO? Why would you squander that? That
<v Speaker 1>would be my only fear in doing that. You know,
<v Speaker 1>we had heel EO and damage control, and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>ready to go back to that yet.
<v Speaker 2>Boomerang.
<v Speaker 1>Favorite WrestleMania theme I found myself listening to Easy Lover
<v Speaker 1>by Bailey and Phil Collins, who was inducted into the
<v Speaker 1>Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Phil Collins is a legend. Easy Lover.
<v Speaker 1>They did use that, I guess didn't they for the
<v Speaker 1>first WrestleMania they used. Take Me Home was another Phil
<v Speaker 1>Collins song they used on one of the Saturday Nights
<v Speaker 1>made event shows. I get which one early eighty eight
<v Speaker 1>might have been the one where Andre choked out Hogan
<v Speaker 1>these Phil Collins a few times. My favorite WrestleMania theme
<v Speaker 1>is still the instrumental WrestleMania theme that they first started
<v Speaker 1>using in ninety three, which became Linda McMahon's theme. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's still my favorite WrestleMania theme, But I believe
<v Speaker 1>it or not, I was always very partial.
<v Speaker 2>To Big Time.
<v Speaker 1>By Peter Gabriel that they used for WrestleMania twenty two,
<v Speaker 1>So I.
<v Speaker 2>Just throw that out there.
<v Speaker 1>Death Size says Manhunt is a stealth horror game by Rockstar,
<v Speaker 1>and spoiler Cash brutally murders stark Weather with a chainsaw.
<v Speaker 1>Ah say, I didn't play the game, so I would
<v Speaker 1>not know that we got retro koh not major news
<v Speaker 1>by any means. But Ridge Holland just got medically cleared.
<v Speaker 1>I hope he does okay for himself. Yeah, I did
<v Speaker 1>see that earlier. It's a pretty brutal injury, so good
<v Speaker 1>for him. Good for him. I'm glad he's healthy again.
<v Speaker 1>Showtime World Heavyweight Championship with Cash in at forty one
<v Speaker 1>and Brock versus Seth of thirty five are also great openers. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but they're not among the best. I wouldn't put those
<v Speaker 1>in the elite category of openers, Like if I did
<v Speaker 1>a top five or well, let's say top five, they
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't even sniff the top five Super Pony Punk has
<v Speaker 1>to win. Roman won't commit full time. Well, that didn't
<v Speaker 1>stop them before, so that doesn't really mean anything. We
<v Speaker 1>got Pisco Pisco Sour ninety five. What's going on? Pisco
<v Speaker 1>Pisco from Frisco. I predict the bloodline reforming at the
<v Speaker 1>end of WrestleMania, not because it's the right outcome, it's not,
<v Speaker 1>but because WWE is so desperate and creatively incompetent that
<v Speaker 1>they have no choice but to rehash their last successful angle.
<v Speaker 1>They have a history of rehashing old angles or trying
<v Speaker 1>to recapture past glory. How many times did they try
<v Speaker 1>to recreate the Montreal screw Job.
<v Speaker 2>Over the years.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, I think there's a very good possibility there.
<v Speaker 2>EJ.
<v Speaker 1>Slamp never thought I would see Cmpunk main event WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>or Rory McElroy win the Masters. Now they've both done.
<v Speaker 2>It in back to back years. Love it.
<v Speaker 1>Well, don't give WWE any ideas they may try to
<v Speaker 1>bring Rory McElroy in to make a celebrity appearance. Dry
<v Speaker 1>Chicken Tko loves Pat McAfee so much they have a
<v Speaker 1>Pat gasm.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>There was a news item today that Stephen A. Smith
<v Speaker 1>said that. I don't know how long ago this was.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think this was recent, but Nick Cohn did
<v Speaker 1>evidently have conversations with him trying to convince him to
<v Speaker 1>join ww in some capacity, maybe as like a manager
<v Speaker 1>or something. Not just what we need we need to
<v Speaker 1>hear stephen A. Smith's voice every week on TV. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>I think we get enough of him as it is.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we need him on WWE Television.
<v Speaker 2>And Super Pony.
<v Speaker 1>If we get a punk Ko program when Owens comes back,
<v Speaker 1>who do you think the crowd sides with.
<v Speaker 2>And who would you have be the heel?
<v Speaker 1>I think in that one Owens would be the heel,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the fans would probably side with him.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, especially if he's just coming back from a
<v Speaker 1>major injury. I'd be a hell of a program.
<v Speaker 2>Though.
<v Speaker 1>I hope we get it. I hope we get it someday.
<v Speaker 1>Just the promos alone Owens and punk sign me up
<v Speaker 1>for that. Stephen A would be my breaking point. That's
<v Speaker 1>what would get you to finally quit. All right, Well,
<v Speaker 1>we smashed the og likes goal. We have a bonus
<v Speaker 1>one as well, but we are nearly seven hundred likes.
<v Speaker 1>So with that being said, Let's go ahead and be
<v Speaker 1>the booker. This may be the only time we do
<v Speaker 1>it all week.
<v Speaker 2>It is now time to be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>This may be the last time that we be the
<v Speaker 1>booker until early Sunday morning. So we got to make
<v Speaker 1>it count. Must we get four more to hit the
<v Speaker 1>bonus goal. Let's see tag team be the booker, Stone Cold,
<v Speaker 1>Steve Austin and the Undertaker. Yes, they were tag team
<v Speaker 1>champions for a hot minute back in ninety eight. Kind
<v Speaker 1>of hard to beat Stone Cold in the Undertaker against
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker and Bronson Reed. Look at that the tribal thief. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>look at that bron Breaker and Stone Cold in the
<v Speaker 1>ring together. It's the old school in the new school.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>I think we had a couple of clean sweeps the
<v Speaker 1>other night. We might be able to keep the momentum rolling.
<v Speaker 1>Here we have Miss Jackie, Yes, Jacqueline. Is she in
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Hall of Fame? I don't think so. Miss Jackie.
<v Speaker 1>She's a tough cookie. She's gonna get into the ring
<v Speaker 1>with rowdy Ronda Rowsy. I think Jackie may she may
<v Speaker 1>lay down a beatdown on Ronda. Ronda is gonna be
<v Speaker 1>fighting Gina car I know in about a month live
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix and in our main event of the evening.
<v Speaker 1>Is she in the Hall of Fame?
<v Speaker 2>She is?
<v Speaker 1>What year did she go in? She was inducted ten
<v Speaker 1>years ago. I have no memory of this whatsoever. Twenty sixteen,
<v Speaker 1>inducted by the Doe.
<v Speaker 2>Oh how about that? All right? Well, good for her.
<v Speaker 2>I have no memory of this.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Here we go, final round, Big daddy, cool
<v Speaker 1>Diesel with the winged eagle over his shoulder.
<v Speaker 2>Here it is I love the winged eagle.
<v Speaker 1>That just made this infinitely better. The tribal chief says,
<v Speaker 1>pick a damn stipulation. Now Roman is getting snippy tonight. This.
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't expecting to break into the stipulations, but I
<v Speaker 1>guess we have no choice. We have a blindfold match.
<v Speaker 1>We've had one of these a WrestleMania before. Okay, all right, no,
<v Speaker 1>we are not landing. Okay, so now we have to
<v Speaker 1>start over again, because now I'm kidding all right, Diesel
<v Speaker 1>in a blindfold match. This is already a disaster. Diesel
<v Speaker 1>in a blindfold match. I can't kissuchka oh katta, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god.
<v Speaker 2>We have done it. We have swept.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, now you mean to tell me that you
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't pay to see Diesel and Okada in a blindfold match.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be Bandito in a blindfold. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's wearing a blindfold already around his face had looked
<v Speaker 1>like in that image. Diesel and Okada is like all
<v Speaker 1>the stars. There's not enough stars in the Melter scale
<v Speaker 1>for that match. That's amazing? Is that is fire? As
<v Speaker 1>they say fire abystle Zones edges I Hate You promo
<v Speaker 1>on Cena in two thousand and nine really made it
<v Speaker 1>feel like they had an intense personal hatred. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>feel that from Punk or Roman tonight. Yeah, now I
<v Speaker 1>don't really feel it either. I felt it more with
<v Speaker 1>Live and Stephanie. To be honest with you, dry Chicken says,
<v Speaker 1>WWE you should do an NXT call up draft for
<v Speaker 1>one night. There's no draft. There's no draft that's needed.
<v Speaker 1>I've already laid this out many times before. Just open
<v Speaker 1>up the transfer window and let the general managers start
<v Speaker 1>making deals. It's all you need to do. And eminem
<v Speaker 1>with at nineteen ninety nine. With celeb Mania happening this year,
<v Speaker 1>May WWE will May WWE will bring back the guest
<v Speaker 1>host Raw solo you might have to make a call
<v Speaker 1>to your boy triple the guest host error of Raw. Dude,
<v Speaker 1>We're already in the celebrity era of RAW. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think we need to go back to any
<v Speaker 1>sort of guest host era. We've got Jelly Roll having
<v Speaker 1>four fucking segments on some of these shows. Pat McAfee's
<v Speaker 1>in like two or three different segments, Little Yacht's in
<v Speaker 1>a couple of segments. What more do you want? We
<v Speaker 1>got celebrities every week, Alex, Who do you see getting
<v Speaker 1>in the Hall of Fame? First, Vince or China as
<v Speaker 1>an individual inductee China and Super Pony. Is Ko beating
<v Speaker 1>Sena in his debut the biggest debut win ever?
<v Speaker 2>No, I don't think so. I can't think of what
<v Speaker 2>it would be off the.
<v Speaker 1>Top of my head, but I'm almost certain that that's
<v Speaker 1>not it. It was a very big deal for Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Owens though, But this goes to what I was saying
<v Speaker 1>earlier about OBA and in terms of how important wins and
<v Speaker 1>losses can be. Kevin Owens going in there as I
<v Speaker 1>think he was still NXT champion, but still he was
<v Speaker 1>new to the main roster. He's in there against John Cena,
<v Speaker 1>who's the United States Champion and one of the biggest
<v Speaker 1>stars still even though he's not world champion, one of
<v Speaker 1>the biggest stars in the company. He's been the star,
<v Speaker 1>the face of that company for years up to that point.
<v Speaker 1>And he beat him clean in his first match, clean,
<v Speaker 1>no cheating, no interference, no ref bumps and shenanigans and
<v Speaker 1>all kinds of bullshit. That was a big deal that
<v Speaker 1>made people go, WHOA, holy shit. Now you can't do
<v Speaker 1>that all the time, but it can be very effective. Mays,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for the fifty seven months membership. With WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>being your biggest show, the likes for Bullstream should be
<v Speaker 1>no less than a thousand. I think that's what we
<v Speaker 1>did last year. Whatever we did last year, well, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we'll leave it to the I don't know if I'll
<v Speaker 1>do the Wheel. The Wheel doesn't have any values that
<v Speaker 1>big on it. I mean, I can go in there
<v Speaker 1>and change it. But I noticed we just hit the
<v Speaker 1>bonus call. Kind of snuck that in there on me.
<v Speaker 1>I almost didn't even notice. Double be the Booker has
<v Speaker 1>been activated bred Heart with forty nine months of membership.
<v Speaker 1>When we get the rare double sweep.
<v Speaker 2>On be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>You should play the Mario World theme when the levels end,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the one that goes.
<v Speaker 2>Do do do do doo doop ah that one?
<v Speaker 1>Yes and Alex with a pair of ten dollars super chats,
<v Speaker 1>let's go, let's do this. Oh, we're gonna do it.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna do it. Here in a second drive Chicken.
<v Speaker 1>Who would you rather listen to? On wrestling commentary Joe
<v Speaker 1>Tessitour or nineties Vince McMahon nineties Vince McMahon. All right,
<v Speaker 1>well I owe you guys.
<v Speaker 2>Another round.
<v Speaker 1>And the way this works is that we have stipulations.
<v Speaker 1>This is exciting. I think we were gonna do this.
<v Speaker 1>Are we gonna ruin it? This is gonna ruin it,
<v Speaker 1>isn't it. We just had like back to back streams
<v Speaker 1>where we just had clean sweeps and I feel like, man,
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna go out on a high note. And now
<v Speaker 1>I feel like we're gonna fuck it all up. But
<v Speaker 1>let's see, let's see what happens. First stipulation cm punk
<v Speaker 1>is the special guest referee. All right, it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>a special guest referee for a tag team special I said,
<v Speaker 1>usually we do it tag teams first, So I feel
<v Speaker 1>like we should stick with that money Incorporated a million
<v Speaker 1>dollar man and Irwin R.
<v Speaker 2>Schister.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, it is April fourteenth. You better pay your taxes.
<v Speaker 1>You don't have a lot of time left. Punk is
<v Speaker 1>the referee for money Ink against Pete Dunn and Tyler Bates.
<v Speaker 1>Whatever happened to these two chaps here? Instead they give
<v Speaker 1>their spots away to these Americano fools Ryo and Bravo.
<v Speaker 1>They get TV time. These two have disappeared off the
<v Speaker 1>face of the earth. Terrible, probably sitting in the back
<v Speaker 1>with nothing to do watching these Americano clowns on TV.
<v Speaker 2>It's awful.
<v Speaker 1>All right, let's keep it going here. We need another
<v Speaker 1>step iron Man match. I was gonna pick a women's match.
<v Speaker 1>Can't do that now, Well, I mean we can make
<v Speaker 1>it an Iron Maiden match. How about that we'll do
<v Speaker 1>We'll do the Iron Maiden match sixty minutes. We need
<v Speaker 1>two women who could go sixty minutes. Hm, we have Carmela.
<v Speaker 1>Uh wait a minute, choose four women and book a
<v Speaker 1>tag team match. Okay, dude, this was going this was
<v Speaker 1>going to be a buzz I'm just gonna let you know.
<v Speaker 1>But now we've been rescued because now we're going to
<v Speaker 1>wipe the slate clean. The streak lives. This was like
<v Speaker 1>a near fall. It was like an aw pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>And so now we wipe the slate clean and now
<v Speaker 1>we get another shot at it. How about that bet?
<v Speaker 1>You didn't see that coming, all right? So we got
<v Speaker 1>to pick four women. We're not out of the woods yet,
<v Speaker 1>what to save?
<v Speaker 2>All right?
<v Speaker 1>So we have uh, oh, Mommy is mad? Pick a
<v Speaker 1>step to make her happy? Well, we already did, so
<v Speaker 1>we're going to ignore that. We have a stipulation.
<v Speaker 2>Here.
<v Speaker 1>We have Stephanie Vacaire, the raining Women's World champion, all right,
<v Speaker 1>and her tag team partner, her tag team partner, Queen Zelena.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie and Zelena. Mm hmmm, I don't know, I don't know, man.
<v Speaker 1>All right, that's one team. On the other side, we
<v Speaker 1>have timelesss Tony Storm and her tag team partner Gail Kim,
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie mcman, Stephanie mcmaon, Stephanie mcaer, Zelena against Tony Storm
<v Speaker 1>and Gail Kim.
<v Speaker 2>That, my friends, is a belle. That is a belle.
<v Speaker 1>Who we got saved. But we're not out of the
<v Speaker 1>woods yet. Because we have one match left to book.
<v Speaker 1>I'm worried. I'm very worried Zelina eats the fall. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean that goes without saying. I think that goes
<v Speaker 1>without saying. All Right, we got a parking lot brawl
<v Speaker 1>in our main event. Okay, here we go. Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>One big son of a bitch braun Stroman in a
<v Speaker 1>parking lot brawl against the Jets, the new TNT champion
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knights. Oh, we're on a roll. We have been
<v Speaker 1>on a roll going back to last Friday. Man, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think we've had a hot streak like this ever.
<v Speaker 1>This is an incredible run that we have been on.
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Knight is awesome. Kevin Knight is great. Kevin Knight's
<v Speaker 1>the one who I predicted would win the Casino Gauntlet.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know he was in it. That was
<v Speaker 1>one prediction I got right last night. Ah, there you go.
<v Speaker 1>I love it.
<v Speaker 2>Say. It all worked out well.
<v Speaker 1>Now we have to hope that that luck will continue
<v Speaker 1>with WrestleMania this weekend. Dry Chicken says on October, we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna have fun doing be The bookers soon line up
<v Speaker 1>for favorite horror movies. I mean in October, that's my
<v Speaker 1>favorite month. And Martin and twelve your thoughts on Escape
<v Speaker 1>from New York and the Warriors getting remakes? Not really
<v Speaker 1>a fan of remakes, generally remaking movies that don't need
<v Speaker 1>to be remade. You know, Escape from New York is
<v Speaker 1>a classic. I don't know too much about the remake
<v Speaker 1>er who's in it, so I can't say for sure,
<v Speaker 1>but on the surface, just based on you asking me,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a fan of it. And Super Pony, do
<v Speaker 1>you also remember Drake Maverick pissing on Bobby Rud's robe.
<v Speaker 1>That was twenty eighteen WWE for you. I don't remember that,
<v Speaker 1>but I do remember the Survivor series when Maverick was
<v Speaker 1>with AOP and he pete on himself. He was afraid
<v Speaker 1>of the Big Show, and that's why I started calling
<v Speaker 1>them AOPP. I remember that. I'm sure Vince got a
<v Speaker 1>kick out of that. Oow, this is just great shit,
<v Speaker 1>such good shit. All right, So let's recap here. No
<v Speaker 1>Dynamite stream on Wednesday. I'm flying out to Vegas Big
<v Speaker 1>House of Glory show Thursday night. I'll be on commentary
<v Speaker 1>for that with JD. We got a loaded lineup like that.
<v Speaker 2>Like no joke.
<v Speaker 1>It is probably the most stacked lineup that we have
<v Speaker 1>ever put together. So that's gonna be on Thursday night,
<v Speaker 1>eight pm local time, and if you're gonna be in
<v Speaker 1>the area, tickets are still available. It's at the Pearl
<v Speaker 1>Theater at the Palms Casino Resort, or you can stream
<v Speaker 1>on Triller TV.
<v Speaker 2>Plus.
<v Speaker 1>I'm flying back on Friday. I won't be home in
<v Speaker 1>time for SmackDown. We have two nights of WrestleMania, two
<v Speaker 1>live streams this coming weekend. I'll be live Saturday night.
<v Speaker 1>I'll be live Sunday night. No sound off next weekend
<v Speaker 1>because there ain't gonna be time to do one in between,
<v Speaker 1>so there won't be another sound up until the following weekend.
<v Speaker 1>But you will have no shortage of show going into
<v Speaker 1>next week. It's going to get crazy around here. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna be getting very little sleep, So I hope you
<v Speaker 1>guys are enjoying the content and will join me tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>A brand new episode of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show we'll
<v Speaker 1>be dropping at some point in the afternoon.
<v Speaker 2>I'll be recording that in the morning.
<v Speaker 1>So in a few hours I got another show to do,
<v Speaker 1>and then Tuesday night we are going to be live
<v Speaker 1>for Tuesday Night Titans, and then the two of us
<v Speaker 1>will make our voyage out to to Vegas.
<v Speaker 2>He's gonna go his way. I'm gonna go my way.
<v Speaker 1>But we are doing TNT tomorrow night. Somebody asked about
<v Speaker 1>that before, so the answer is yes. So two more
<v Speaker 1>shows to do tomorrow and then it is off to Vegue.
<v Speaker 1>I have not been to Vegas since the first Double
<v Speaker 1>or Nothing in twenty nineteen.
<v Speaker 2>It's been a while since I've been there. What is it.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's in the eighties. That'll be nice.
<v Speaker 1>It's getting warm here in New York's fucking warm in
<v Speaker 1>here right now. It's getting into the I think it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be close to eighty this week here in
<v Speaker 1>New York. So anyway, I'm looking forward to getting out
<v Speaker 1>there and maybe I'll see some of you guys. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>be well, stay safe, have yourselves a great rest of
<v Speaker 1>your night. Big day coming up tomorrow, Uncrowned. If you
<v Speaker 1>want my Dynasty review, that's where you're gonna find it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to be recording my Dynasty review as part
<v Speaker 1>of the show tomorrow. I will see you guys then,
<v Speaker 1>take care,
